Speaker 3: the Washington Post slander are men and women in the military.

Speaker 3: He takes on the press and wins with the facts
• 0:49
Speaker 3: big time. I'll have that for you in just a moment. Also,
• 0:53
Speaker 3: in a story that no one's talking about, the federal
• 0:56
Speaker 3: government is now fighting hundreds of thousands of dead people
• 1:01
Speaker 3: on voter rolls around the country. Why are they still
• 1:04
Speaker 3: on the list, and why are Democrats doing everything they
• 1:06
Speaker 3: can to protect dead people to vote Operation Overlord The

Speaker 3: dialed text message from my Heart Media. It's a forty
• 2:11
Speaker 3: seven morning update. And it starts right now.
• 2:14
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 2:15
Speaker 3: It is a disaster. The media went all in on
• 2:19
Speaker 3: a story that we now know is a total lie.
• 2:23
Speaker 3: Senator Tom Cotton coming out on Meet the Press and
• 2:27
Speaker 3: saying that everyone on the drug boat was a valid target.
• 2:32
Speaker 3: The Washington Post now being accused of slandering the military
• 2:37
Speaker 3: now only reminds you about the backstory of this story.
• 2:40
Speaker 3: Two weeks before this story broke, you had Democrats in
• 2:43
Speaker 3: the House and the Senate come together and encourage an
• 2:47
Speaker 3: insurrection against the president from military leaders encourage a coup,
• 2:52
Speaker 3: telling them to defy orders of the president. Clearly in
• 2:55
Speaker 3: reference to the attacks on the narco terrorists running drugs
• 2:59
Speaker 3: to a America in the middle of the ocean. We
• 3:02
Speaker 3: know that the number one killer of people under the
• 3:05
Speaker 3: age of forty in this country is fetanyl and we
• 3:07
Speaker 3: know that hundreds of Americans are killed every single day
• 3:12
Speaker 3: by accidental overdoses from drugs laced with fetanel Well, on
• 3:18
Speaker 3: Sunday on Meet the Press, Tom Cotton of Arkansas said
• 3:22
Speaker 3: that all the people on a Venezuelan drug boat were
• 3:25
Speaker 3: subject to the Trump administration's cracked down the Caribbean were
• 3:28
Speaker 3: quote unquote valid targets. This going directly against the lies
• 3:33
Speaker 3: and the slander from the Washington Post on the military.
• 3:36
Speaker 3: I want you to listen carefully to what Tom Cotton
• 3:40
Speaker 3: had to say because it's important that this gets out,
• 3:43
Speaker 3: and I hope you will share this podcast this information
• 3:48
Speaker 3: with everyone on social media. Listen carefully.
• 3:51
Speaker 4: And joining me now is the chairman of the Senate
• 3:54
Speaker 4: Intelligence Committee who was in those briefings this week, Republican
• 3:58
Speaker 4: Tom Cotton of Arkansas, and welcome back to meet the press.
• 4:01
Speaker 5: Thanks for having me on Christin.
• 4:03
Speaker 4: Thank you so much for being here after a very
• 4:05
Speaker 4: big week. I want to ask you about our new reporting.
• 4:08
Speaker 4: NBC News is reporting this morning that Defense Secretary Pete
• 4:11
Speaker 4: hegseith his order was to kill all eleven individuals on
• 4:15
Speaker 4: that boat because they were on a list of narco
• 4:19
Speaker 4: terrorists who intelligence and military officials determined could be legally targeted.
• 4:25
Speaker 4: Was Secretary Hegxis's order to kill everyone on the boat
• 4:28
Speaker 4: because they were on this target list.
• 4:30
Speaker 5: Senator the ordered, like the entire Operation Kristen is to
• 4:34
Speaker 5: destroy these drug boats which are running drugs into our
• 4:39
Speaker 5: country from foreign drug cartels and traffickers that are killing
• 4:43
Speaker 5: hundreds of our cansons every year and hundreds of thousands
• 4:47
Speaker 5: of Americans. Now, of course, before our military conducts such
• 4:52
Speaker 5: a strike, they have multiple sources of intelligence. They give
• 4:56
Speaker 5: high confidence that everyone on that boat is a foreign
• 5:00
Speaker 5: drug trafficker, not an innocent civilian who's being human trafficked,
• 5:03
Speaker 5: for instance. And therefore Secretary Hegseth said, and I agree,
• 5:08
Speaker 5: they're all valid targets. Now, this controversy, let's remember, all
• 5:11
Speaker 5: started with the Washington Post story about nine days ago
• 5:15
Speaker 5: that said after the first strike there were two survivors
• 5:18
Speaker 5: that were helpless, and then they were ordered to kill
• 5:21
Speaker 5: these helpless survivors. That is simply not the case. They
• 5:24
Speaker 5: were not floating in the ocean on a wooden plane
• 5:27
Speaker 5: or in life jackets. They were on the capsized vessel.
• 5:30
Speaker 5: They were not incapacitated in any way. It was entirely
• 5:33
Speaker 5: appropriate to strike the boat again to make sure that
• 5:36
Speaker 5: it cargo was destroyed. It is in no way violation
• 5:41
Speaker 5: of the law of war. And I think the Washington Post,
• 5:43
Speaker 5: oh Secretary Heseth and especially Admiral Mitch Bradley, a highly
• 5:48
Speaker 5: decorated career Navy steal, an apology for that slander.
• 5:51
Speaker 3: An apology for that slander. This story is a story
• 5:56
Speaker 3: just like the Russian hoax story. That's still dossier, a
• 6:00
Speaker 3: total fabrication by the Democratic National Committee that paid for
• 6:03
Speaker 3: that dossier, and a fabrication by the Hillary Clinton for
• 6:07
Speaker 3: President campaign. And what did the media do. They gave
• 6:11
Speaker 3: legs and life to that story to the point where
• 6:14
Speaker 3: they impeached the president of the United States of America.
• 6:19
Speaker 3: This story is no different. There is a story that
• 6:23
Speaker 3: has been put out there by the Washington Post. I
• 6:26
Speaker 3: wouldn't be surprised if this story was put out there
• 6:28
Speaker 3: in conjunction with Democrats, the same Democrats that said defy
• 6:32
Speaker 3: the president's orders. It is obvious this was to undermine
• 6:36
Speaker 3: and to even imprison people in and around President Trump.
• 6:41
Speaker 3: It was also a story that has been put out
• 6:43
Speaker 3: there to put fear into the minds of our men
• 6:46
Speaker 3: and women in uniform, with the threat that the Democratic Party,
• 6:50
Speaker 3: when they gained power again one day, will come after
• 6:53
Speaker 3: them for war crimes and lock them up for life
• 6:56
Speaker 3: or even give them the death penalty. That that is
• 7:00
Speaker 3: exactly what this story was all about, to make sure
• 7:04
Speaker 3: that people that are in our government would not follow
• 7:07
Speaker 3: the orders of the sitting president. Senator Tom Cotton after
• 7:11
Speaker 3: what he had to say there was pressed by Welker,
• 7:14
Speaker 3: and I want you to listen carefully to what he
• 7:16
Speaker 3: says in this next moment on the show.
• 7:19
Speaker 4: Okay, and we're going to get to what you saw
• 7:21
Speaker 4: in the video momentarily. But I just want to be
• 7:22
Speaker 4: very clear, because what you're saying is significant. Senator, it
• 7:26
Speaker 4: sounds like you're confirming. Did Admiral Bradley brief lawmakers that
• 7:30
Speaker 4: in fact, all of the people on that boat were
• 7:33
Speaker 4: on a military target list.
• 7:36
Speaker 5: I did not hear him personally say anything about a
• 7:38
Speaker 5: military target list. Now, he had several briefingsunt the day.
• 7:41
Speaker 5: I wasn't in the briefing, for instance, with Mark Warner,
• 7:44
Speaker 5: my counterpart on the Senate Intelligence Committee. I can only
• 7:46
Speaker 5: say what he told me. He said they had high confidence,
• 7:49
Speaker 5: based on multiple sources of intelligence, that everyone on that
• 7:52
Speaker 5: boat was part of a foreign or foreign terrorist organization
• 7:56
Speaker 5: and been designated by the US government.
• 7:58
Speaker 4: So they could be legally targeted. They could be essentially
• 8:01
Speaker 4: and legally targeted. We argued, yes, okay.
• 8:03
Speaker 5: Both before the first strike and after the first strike.
• 8:06
Speaker 4: Was Admiral Bradley acting on Secretary Hexas orders.
• 8:09
Speaker 5: Senator Well anytime you have an operation like this, there's
• 8:12
Speaker 5: an operation order, it's written down, it's got very detailed instructions.
• 8:17
Speaker 5: I think because this was the first strike, Secretary Hegseth
• 8:19
Speaker 5: and Admiral Bradley both wanted to be present and be
• 8:22
Speaker 5: making the decision. As you heard Secretary Hegseth in the
• 8:25
Speaker 5: opening say he initiated the first strike. You've seen the video.
• 8:29
Speaker 5: There's a lot of smoke. It takes a long time
• 8:31
Speaker 5: to clear. I'm sure Secretary Hesath had many other matters
• 8:33
Speaker 5: that he had to attend to, and he trust Admiral Bradley.
• 8:36
Speaker 5: Once the smoke is clear, once cloud covered cleared, it
• 8:39
Speaker 5: was clear that the first strike had not destroyed the
• 8:41
Speaker 5: boat or Admiral Bradley made a decision for the second strike.
• 8:44
Speaker 5: Now in subsequent strike since then, because there's been more
• 8:46
Speaker 5: than twenty obviously it's no longer a Secretary Hegseth or
• 8:50
Speaker 5: even four star generals making that decision, nor should it be.
• 8:52
Speaker 5: But on the first strike, I believe they both wanted
• 8:54
Speaker 5: to be present and be observing it.
• 8:56
Speaker 4: Let me ask you about the aftermath of that first strike.
• 8:59
Speaker 4: The Tigan's Law of War Manual, which you're familiar with
• 9:03
Speaker 4: having served in RockA and Afghanistan, says quote orders to
• 9:07
Speaker 4: fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.
• 9:12
Speaker 3: I want to pause there, and I want you to
• 9:14
Speaker 3: just listen to how they continue to undermine and disparage
• 9:20
Speaker 3: and fish for a controversy. Did you notice how she's like,
• 9:25
Speaker 3: let me just go to these orders. Let's talk about
• 9:29
Speaker 3: these orders. Let's have a conversation about these orders. They
• 9:36
Speaker 3: do not want to stop here. They want this to
• 9:40
Speaker 3: continue to be a thing. They want it to continue
• 9:45
Speaker 3: to be a story. And they are refusing to admit
• 9:50
Speaker 3: that the story is inaccurate, that the story is slander,
• 9:54
Speaker 3: that the story is a lie. Why because they want
• 9:59
Speaker 3: people that were for the president of the United States
• 10:01
Speaker 3: of America to be afraid to do their job, to
• 10:06
Speaker 3: be afraid to follow orders from the president of the
• 10:11
Speaker 3: United States of America. And this is why it is
• 10:14
Speaker 3: so important that we stand with this president and that
• 10:20
Speaker 3: conservatives in Congress stand up to these radicals on the left.
• 10:25
  Speaker 3: Full stuff.
• 10:26
Speaker 2: Now, story number two.
• 10:28
Speaker 3: I want to bring up a quick important story for you,
• 10:31
Speaker 3: and it's one that's getting no coverage at all. It
• 10:36
Speaker 3: deals with the integrity of our elections and it's a
• 10:40
Speaker 3: very important story. After the Assistant Attorney General Harmei Dylon,
• 10:45
Speaker 3: who leads the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, announce new
• 10:49
Speaker 3: findings in the Department's nationwide effort to clean up voter rolls,
• 10:54
Speaker 3: revealing massive vulnerabilities in states election systems. Vording to Dylan,
• 11:01
Speaker 3: federal investigators have identified two hundred and sixty plus thousand
• 11:07
Speaker 3: dead individuals still listed on voter rolls across the country,
• 11:13
Speaker 3: more than a quarter million dead people along with thousands
• 11:18
Speaker 3: I'm going to say this slowly because I want this
• 11:21
Speaker 3: to really stick with you, along with thousands of registered
• 11:27
Speaker 3: non citizens. Let me translate that for you. They've found
• 11:33
Speaker 3: thousands of illegal immigrants registered to vote. In a post
• 11:38
Speaker 3: on acts, she said, the Department's review has already prompted
• 11:42
Speaker 3: major action. Fourteen states have now been sued for failing
• 11:46
Speaker 3: to comply with federal transparency requirements, while four others have
• 11:52
Speaker 3: voluntarily turned over voter data and begun the cleanup efforts.
• 11:58
Speaker 3: Many of these states, by the way, knew this was
• 12:00
Speaker 3: a problem before the government got involved for the transparency.
• 12:04
Speaker 3: One of the most serious problems, they said, is in
• 12:08
Speaker 3: a swing state, North Carolina, where officials are now removing
• 12:14
Speaker 3: more than one hundred thousand outdated or invalid voter registrations.
• 12:23
Speaker 3: Dylon emphasized the stakes of the cleanup effort, saying even
• 12:28
Speaker 3: a single and proper vote in reminds the core promise
• 12:31
Speaker 3: of American democracy. Quote everyone, every one person voting who
• 12:38
Speaker 3: shouldn't have voted is one too many, because every citizen
• 12:42
Speaker 3: is entitled to one person, one vote, the assumption that
• 12:46
Speaker 3: their vote is being counted equally and only with another
• 12:51
Speaker 3: American citizen. We will not rest at the DOJ until
• 12:55
Speaker 3: we complete this project and provide confidence to all American
• 13:00
Speaker 3: voters that the roles are clean and the elections are
• 13:04
Speaker 3: free and fair. The Department on Tuesday escalated its campaign
• 13:10
Speaker 3: by filing lawsuits against six additional states Delaware, Maryland, New Mexico,
• 13:19
Speaker 3: Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington for what is described as
• 13:25
Speaker 3: their failure as a state to provide statewide voter registration
• 13:29
Speaker 3: lists and other data required under federal law. Let me
• 13:35
Speaker 3: say that again, under federal law. Justice Department officials say
• 13:40
Speaker 3: the information is critical to assess compliance with election security statutes.
• 13:47
Speaker 3: But Democrats state officials are pushing back, Why, Well, I
• 13:51
Speaker 3: think it's pretty clear you can say they're probably pushing
• 13:54
Speaker 3: back for one main reason because they feel like this
• 13:57
Speaker 3: is an advantage for them. Democrats say that they're warning
• 14:01
Speaker 3: about how the voter data could be used, and they're
• 14:03
Speaker 3: raising questions about the Department's handling and privacy protections, that
• 14:07
Speaker 3: of course being dismissed by those in charge, saying that
• 14:11
Speaker 3: the transparency and accuracy are essential to public trust and
• 14:15
Speaker 3: that the Department's efforts are aimed soleet ensuring the integrity
• 14:19
Speaker 3: of future elections, saying, quote, our elections are crooked and rigged.
• 14:24
Speaker 3: The voters know it. That's how President Trump put it
• 14:27
Speaker 3: on Wednesday after this data was revealed. Must bring integrity
• 14:31
Speaker 3: back to voting, and it starts, the President says, in
• 14:34
Speaker 3: all caps, with voter ID. And I couldn't agree with
• 14:39
Speaker 3: him more. Now, if you go back to what the
• 14:42
Speaker 3: President said in his tweet, this echoes what he's been
• 14:46
Speaker 3: saying for a long time. We have a problem in
• 14:49
Speaker 3: this country with the ability to cheat and the ability
• 14:53
Speaker 3: for someone who is not actually who they say they
• 14:55
Speaker 3: are to vote in an election. It is simple and
• 15:01
Speaker 3: it's easy to fix this problem. Voter ID laws are
• 15:06
Speaker 3: a great step in the right in that direction, Like
• 15:09
Speaker 3: a phenomenal step in that direction. The problem is you
• 15:15
Speaker 3: have Democrats who say no, we refuse, we will not
• 15:20
Speaker 3: do this. We are saying no to it, and that's
• 15:24
Speaker 3: the biggest problem of all. It is incredibly frustrating when
• 15:28
Speaker 3: you witness this. It's incredibly frustrating to watch a government
• 15:33
Speaker 3: that is trying to give us transparency and Democrats get
• 15:36
Speaker 3: in the way. Why would they not want Why would
• 15:39
Speaker 3: Democrats not want to clean up the voter rolls? Is
• 15:43
Speaker 3: it because they know the majority of cheating that's done
• 15:45
Speaker 3: is done by Democrats and not Republicans and it gives
• 15:48
Speaker 3: them a big advantage. That's a question that everybody should ask.
• 15:54
Speaker 3: I think it's an incredibly important question to ask, and
• 16:00
Speaker 3: I hope all of you will start asking that question,
• 16:04
Speaker 3: most importantly to our men and women who serve this
• 16:07
  Speaker 3: country in Congress.
