- 5:31Speaker 4: Nigerian and he moves to Dili and starts to pick
- 5:36Speaker 4: up the language and You know, so he raps in Hindi.
- 5:40Speaker 4: And he can rap in Gujarati. It's pretty remarkable.
- 5:43Speaker 15: I'm not trying to say you're trying to tell me.

- 8:36Speaker 4: Royal and Coldplay and Ed Sheeran, Arjit Singh, and that one,
- 8:41Speaker 4: and all the stuff that Diljit was doing. Pretty remarkable.

- 8:48Speaker 7: Jogi na ban jawa.
- 9:12Speaker 18: Baraan saal majiyaan, charaiyaan ranj jaak ne Teriyan te meriyan,

- 11:01Speaker 4: The beat is the singer. The producer is Tiara Jatt,
- 11:05Speaker 4: who has had a remarkable 2026. One of the main
- 11:10Speaker 4: collaborators with Diljito Sanj on his I'm an Artist Bro album.
- 11:14Speaker 4: How about that? Tiara Jatt. The song is called Joggi.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Big show still ahead, folks. We'll be joined here by
- 11:23Speaker 4: Ruby Bossy, as we do every Wednesday. And we'll keep
- 11:27Speaker 4: this party going by bringing in Dr. Roy with today's
- 11:29Speaker 4: Word on the Avenue. What's up, Dr.
- 11:31Speaker 19: Roy?
- 11:31Speaker 7: Hey, guys. This is Dr.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Roy with today's Word on the Avenue.
- 11:34Speaker 3: In film and TV news, Frida Pinto is praising her
- 11:38Speaker 3: Unaccustomed Earth co-star and on-screen husband, Indranil Sengupta, predicting that
- 11:42Speaker 3: he will leave you all stunned when the Netflix series
- 11:45Speaker 3: premieres December 17th. Inspired by Jhumpa Lahiri's acclaimed short story collection,
- 11:51Speaker 3: the series explores love, loss, and belonging with an Indian
- 11:54Speaker 3: American community in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In media news, Hasan Minhaj
- 12:01Speaker 3: has been named the recipient of the American Advertising Federation's
- 12:06Speaker 3: 2026 Cultural Force Award, recognizing his influence on culture and
- 12:10Speaker 3: the way brands connect with audiences. The honor comes as
- 12:14Speaker 3: Minaj continues expanding his work as a comedian, filmmaker, and
- 12:18Speaker 3: producer through his company, 186K Films. In event news, Indian
- 12:24Speaker 3: American biology professor Chandak Basu has received a $ 700, 000 in
- 12:29Speaker 3: NASA grants to study how plants and microbes survive conditions
- 12:33Speaker 3: similar to those found in space. His latest research will
- 12:37Speaker 3: examine leafy vegetables under microgravity and trout-like conditions, exploring whether
- 12:42Speaker 3: crops could eventually be grown in lunar or Martian environments,
- 12:46Speaker 3: while also helping address water scarcity on Earth. That's it
- 12:49Speaker 3: for today's Word on the Avenue.
- 12:51Speaker 9: Until next time.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Thank you very much, Dr. Roy. This next song we've
- 12:58Speaker 4: got for you is called Istara. The artist's name is Jardivari.

- 15:09Speaker 14: y'all Kya maine koi maagi dua sajda kya koi kiya
- 15:44Speaker 14: Kisi rishi ki kya lagi kripa jo maine.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Tujhe dekha.
- 16:06Speaker 14: Thank you for watching.
- 16:18Speaker 24: If my Mohan laughs Mohan loves me If he's in
- 16:21Speaker 24: my arms right now.
- 16:26Speaker 17: Then who knows what will happen tomorrow?
- 16:34Speaker 7: Oh, is that right?
- 16:41Speaker 17: I wish I could meet you today. I wish I
- 16:49Speaker 17: could meet you today.
- 16:58Speaker 2: I wish I could meet you today. I wish I
- 17:03Speaker 2: could meet you today. I wish I could meet you today.
- 17:22Speaker 24: Your name on my lips I kept on saying the
- 17:28Speaker 24: same thing to myself I kept on saying it.
- 17:35Speaker 2: The birds said the same thing to me Like a
- 17:43Speaker 2: crazy kite.
- 17:46Speaker 7: It seems they don't.
- 17:58Speaker 20: One of the top albums of the year this year,
- 18:08Speaker 20: I would say creatively.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Maybe not so much from a chart-topping perspective. But artistically,
- 18:14Speaker 4: Jaar Diwari, he put out an EP this year called Parvana.
- 18:19Speaker 4: That song called Istaran was one of the four or
- 18:22Speaker 4: five songs that were just pretty big, you know? Pretty impressive.
- 18:28Speaker 4: You probably saw Steel Bangles on stage this weekend in Toronto.
- 18:32Speaker 25: There were times my soul felt broken And there were
- 18:38Speaker 25: times my faith was shaken Someway, somehow, we made it
- 18:48Speaker 25: Loved ones all around, say it's just the beginning, hey
- 18:55Speaker 25: Staring at.
- 18:55Speaker 1: The rain real hard, praying for a candle to shine.
- 19:00Speaker 13: Feeling all the pain real hard, moving with the chip
- 19:03Speaker 13: on my shoulder Looking at the hate in.
- 19:06Speaker 1: The world, lost in the world, weighing me down.
- 19:10Speaker 26: Reaching for a light too far, feeling like I was
- 19:13Speaker 26: gonna drown.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Oh, there were times my soul felt broken. And there
- 19:20Speaker 1: were times my faith was shaken.
- 19:24Speaker 26: Someway, somehow, we made it.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Love was all around.
- 19:32Speaker 7: Nas. Say it's just the beginning.
- 19:34Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 19:34Speaker 7: They say it's just the beginning.
- 19:36Speaker 27: No longer guilt written by the silk and linen. Never condemning,
- 19:40Speaker 27: never condescending. Before you hear something this dope again and
- 19:43Speaker 27: people love it. You'll see the Pope on the beach
- 19:45Speaker 27: and then tuck it, play the trumpet. Somehow, someway we
- 19:47Speaker 27: made it out the filth and garbage where people kill
- 19:49Speaker 27: for nothing. nonsense world of sin we need to be
- 19:51Speaker 27: born again from the problems of harlequins and the charlatans
- 19:53Speaker 27: trying to stick their thorns in them but they can't
- 19:55Speaker 27: kill the confidence this ain't religious but yo I see
- 19:59Speaker 27: the crescent see the illuminated cross in the sky in
- 20:01Speaker 27: the distance or maybe it's just the clouds how they
- 20:03Speaker 27: shaping my vision telling me never play down my true
- 20:06Speaker 27: existence Forget what you know, just take a leap.
- 20:10Speaker 4: No matter how high up you are or how deep.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Or what height it is, be the mightiest. We've been
- 20:15Speaker 4: in a tight spot, fight to live.
- 20:17Speaker 1: For there were times my soul felt broken. And there
- 20:22Speaker 1: were times my faith was shaken.
- 20:27Speaker 7: Someway, somehow, we made it.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Love was all around.
- 20:34Speaker 26: They say it's just the beginning They say it's just
- 20:38Speaker 26: the beginning Can't get it in Can't get it in
- 20:44Speaker 26: Can't get it in Oh there.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Were times My.
- 21:01Speaker 26: Soul felt broken And there were times When my faith
- 21:07Speaker 26: was shaken Someway, somehow We made it Love was on
- 21:15Speaker 26: the rise Say it's just the beginning.
- 21:20Speaker 4: You know, as you guys know, I was just referring
- 21:22Speaker 4: to Toronto right before this song started, and I was
- 21:25Speaker 4: referring to the Siddhu Musibala hologram concert that took place
- 21:30Speaker 4: this weekend, or this past weekend, rather, in Toronto. Steel
- 21:34Speaker 4: Bangles was on stage, and as you guys know, we've
- 21:37Speaker 4: had the fine fortune, and the honor, rather, of world-premiering
- 21:41Speaker 4: two of Siddhu's songs right here on the bridge. Very
- 21:46Speaker 4: proud distinction that we have. This is Otal, the song
- 21:50Speaker 4: is called Demise.
- 22:17Speaker 23: I don't hit anyone, I hit only God, I don't
- 22:20Speaker 23: hit anyone, I don't hit anyone Oh, let's take a
- 22:40Speaker 23: look at some of the schemes of the Jatt.
- 22:44Speaker 7: Now tell me.
- 22:46Speaker 23: Are you going to stay in your dreams?
- 22:50Speaker 4: If four people come.
- 22:51Speaker 7: Together, will you survive?
- 22:54Speaker 23: Come, let's see the stars in the sky, are you
- 22:56Speaker 23: going to wear them?
- 22:57Speaker 7: Now tell me, is this Jatt yours or not?
- 22:59Speaker 23: If you want to die, why don't you die in
- 23:03Speaker 23: the death chamber? Oh, son of Jatt, don't kill me. No,
- 23:05Speaker 23: I'll kill you now. Who are you talking to? Don't
- 23:18Speaker 23: you dare talk to me. I'm not your friend's friend.
- 23:21Speaker 23: Who are you talking to? Don't you dare.
- 23:24Speaker 7: Talk to me. I'm not your friend. Thank you for watching.
- 24:12Speaker 23: .
- 24:42Speaker 4: He just put out a London freestyle. I'm going to
- 24:44Speaker 4: play it. I'm going to pull it up for one
- 24:45Speaker 4: of these days here. Well, Dal, one of my favorite artists,
- 24:48Speaker 4: and kind of plateaued out after some very big expectations,
- 24:51Speaker 4: I would say.
- 24:52Speaker 7: You know?
- 24:53Speaker 4: You know?
- 24:58Speaker 7: I'm waiting for you.
- 24:59Speaker 4: I'm waiting for you.

- 28:22Speaker 19: speak the truth, but you.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Think it's.
- 28:35Speaker 29: A lie.
- 28:43Speaker 19: Whatever you say, I won't be in your trap.
- 28:46Speaker 7: I will give you all the medicines.
- 28:53Speaker 19: Aiyo teri meri jodi ji mein aile naal eidi do

- 30:21Speaker 4: Jus! It's a great song. Jus was great. We've had
- 30:25Speaker 4: him on the show here before as well. What a
- 30:27Speaker 4: great conversation that was. This gentleman's name is Harkidat Sangha.
- 30:34Speaker 4: The song is called Midnight Call.
- 30:38Speaker 5: Oh, where are we sitting in our homes?
- 30:49Speaker 5: Brown brown,
- 31:16Speaker 5: Khadi hove, Keeti hove, Akhlal, Kithhe jhana, Date the tu puche,

- 32:11Speaker 5: I'll fill the water in my bottle and drink it.
- 32:14Speaker 5: I'll go to my sister's village. I'll go to her house.
- 32:16Speaker 5: I'll go to her house. I'll go to her house.
- 32:18Speaker 5: I'll go to her house.
- 32:56Speaker 4: The song called Midnight Call. We're looking forward to talking
- 33:02Speaker 4: to Ruby Bussey very shortly. Her show airs Monday through Friday,
- 33:07Speaker 4: 6 p.m. 6 a.m. as well, by the way. Every
- 33:12Speaker 4: day right here on Ruckus Avenue Radio. That's 6 a.m.
- 33:15Speaker 4: and 6 p.m. Pacific Time. So for the folks out
- 33:19Speaker 4: in the East Coast, 9 p.m., 9 a.m. Here's Farak.
- 33:23Speaker 25: Here's Farak.
- 33:38Speaker 2: He is the bride of the Lord.
- 33:43Speaker 30: Our thokras have some old special ties. Our thokras have
- 33:49Speaker 30: some old special ties. The one who has seen love,
- 33:54Speaker 30: he is the bride of the Lord.
- 33:56Speaker 31: The one who.
- 33:57Speaker 30: Has seen love, he is the bride of the Lord.
- 34:01Speaker 30: Don't ask about the condition of the heart. It feels
- 34:06Speaker 30: like fear while telling you. Is khali kar ko na
- 34:09Speaker 30: looto Yeh busdil sar patakta hai Wa ghar chhoota hai
- 34:14Speaker 30: Jabse kam bakhat koi aasra na hai Yeh kaag zir
- 34:19Speaker 30: kaapta Jabh bhoote dil ke ghaav daaza hai.
- 34:25Speaker 32: Ke labz kuch aise hain Gawaya is kadar ke Gawar
- 34:29Speaker 32: farmaayega Gawaya is kadar ke Paane ko ab kuch bachana
- 34:34Speaker 32: hai Parinda kaed pinjre mein Parinda kaid pinjare mein usse
- 34:40Speaker 32: dar aasma ka.
- 34:42Speaker 30: Hai Gawaya is khadar ke paane ko ab kuch bachana
- 34:48Speaker 30: hai Parinda kaid pinjare mein usse dar aasma ka hai
- 34:58Speaker 30: Parinda kaid pinjare mein usse dar aasma ka hai. Jo
- 35:03Speaker 30: bhikhara poot ke phir wo samete na simat tha hai.
- 35:08Speaker 30: Hai parthe iskadar dil pe tarashe na nikharta hai. Hala
- 35:13Speaker 30: tu se liya jab bair tohar daav hara mein. Ye
- 35:18Speaker 30: kandhe jhuk rahe hain umido ka bhaar zada hai.
- 35:26Speaker 4: I was referring to our newsletter yesterday, and one of
- 35:29Speaker 4: the things that we had presented in our The Bridge
- 35:32Speaker 4: newsletter that you can sign up on, SammyChanza.com, was a
- 35:36Speaker 4: statistical breakdown of all the songs that we have played
- 35:40Speaker 4: over the summer. And number two was that one, Farrakh.
- 35:44Speaker 4: And this song by Chima Y was up there too.
- 36:16Speaker 33: I don't care if I'm fat or fat. I'll be
- 36:18Speaker 33: the next generation of the world. I'm a very big
- 36:21Speaker 33: man now. So I can't stop people like this. Why
- 36:25Speaker 33: did the boys take love from me? Why did I
- 36:26Speaker 33: choose weapons in this situation? I don't forget, I don't
- 36:29Speaker 33: wear a pillow. I have to listen to the shots
- 36:31Speaker 33: in the shot. I have to learn to rap. I
- 36:34Speaker 33: have to learn to rap. I have to learn to rap.
- 36:44Speaker 33: If I didn't find someone else, someone else would have
- 36:48Speaker 33: called me a fatso.
- 36:49Speaker 7: When I'm thirsty, I drink water.
- 36:50Speaker 33: When I'm thirsty, I open my eyes. And I never
- 36:54Speaker 33: show my emotions. If someone doesn't do it, I do it.
- 36:57Speaker 33: When I open my stomach, I open my stomach. That's it,
- 36:59Speaker 33: I don't want anything else.
- 37:01Speaker 28: I don't want anything else.
- 37:02Speaker 33: I don't want anything else.
- 37:04Speaker 7: I don't want anything else.
- 37:22Speaker 4: The song is called Rebel. Out there, like a good
- 37:29Speaker 4: duo would be dominating project by project, man. Those guys
- 37:34Speaker 4: are on a roll, really. This song is called Radha.
- 37:51Speaker 18: Why does the road keep falling, Radha?
- 37:58Speaker 14: Oh Radha!
- 37:59Speaker 34: My Radha is filled with water in the nest of birds.
- 38:08Speaker 34: These birds have lost the way to go.
- 38:54Speaker 18: Us gum chadho lehna naam tera kaha mujh se Mere
- 38:59Speaker 18: pank bheege hain paon chalate nahi And.
- 39:03Speaker 34: This jungle mein ek gid bhookha hai Jo mujh ko
- 39:08Speaker 34: dhoond taar.
- 39:09Speaker 13: Gar kal subha tak na ho khuda ki.
- 39:14Speaker 22: Ganimet toh Na saas ho na hi aahate na ye
- 39:19Speaker 22: jeeban ho To maan se meri.
- 39:23Speaker 7: Radha to kehna.
- 39:26Speaker 22: Khush hai tera ladk If you are my mother, then
- 39:22Speaker 22: tell my.
- 39:23Speaker 7: Mother that your son is happy. Thank you.
- 40:58Speaker 4: The song is called Rada. One of our favorites on
- 41:01Speaker 4: the bridge lately. Tomorrow we'll be world premiering a song
- 41:07Speaker 4: by an artist called Malawala. And here's his song that's
- 41:12Speaker 4: out there right now. It's called Tak Dinak Din. Love
- 41:16Speaker 4: this track. We're going to world premiere a song from
- 41:18Speaker 4: this artist tomorrow. Here's the song.
- 41:20Speaker 7: Ooh.
- 41:21Speaker 24: Ayo, SPA!
- 41:22Speaker 35: Aakad bakad bambay boh, bachke mithhe bandhe toh Galla naani
- 41:26Speaker 35: maande hunde, darde landu dande toh March banake bechu pend
- 41:31Speaker 35: naam mere di Saariya kharidni jmeen nede tere.
- 41:35Speaker 7: Di Aadiya gharari.
- 41:36Speaker 35: Layni rachid me li Pinta ya hale aage jatt vichni
- 41:40Speaker 35: dili Adda jatt ni singer ya, te adda jatt ni

- 41:47Speaker 35: aayi darya If you want to mess with me, come here.
- 41:57Speaker 31: Ago se utaru baabe chashme me parada ke Dufaan lata
- 42:00Speaker 31: baabe farata mein Makha laga jaye baabe paratha pe log
- 42:02Speaker 31: Kaat puche jaye tera janaza de Spy on the beat
- 42:05Speaker 31: baabe feet in sky Chalaan aara over speeding kai Dosti
- 42:08Speaker 31: me maza baabe feelings kai Aur sath bete sama bana
- 42:10Speaker 31: healing sai Kutto se paal lena dosti Pasana bandhe jo
- 42:13Speaker 31: toxic Ilake me aage ham dholpeet Parcha bhare kare roll
- 42:16Speaker 31: sheet Ya tino bandhe khuraf aati mehngi pade ham se
- 42:19Speaker 31: The story of our life is told by the eyes
- 42:20Speaker 31: of the eyes, we boys are full of love, we
- 42:22Speaker 31: do the sin. In the night, the thorns were left,
- 42:23Speaker 31: the bones were eaten, we are doing the work. The
- 42:25Speaker 31: one who puts the stick inside the eye, the one
- 42:27Speaker 31: who recognizes the eye.
- 42:28Speaker 30: Is a scoundrel.
- 42:29Speaker 7: Not much has happened, only the download has been done.
- 42:31Speaker 7: Which one is being made? Baba or Dawood? And the
- 42:32Speaker 7: eyes that you have some doubt.
- 42:33Speaker 31: The truth is that there is no doubt, just listen
- 42:35Speaker 31: and listen. Khaalo taara teri baabe boot banaada ladar ka
- 42:57Speaker 35: jaa ke kaadiyaun adhiyaani adhiyaan And ladies and gentlemen, coming
- 43:03Speaker 35: live and direct to you on a Wednesday. It's my sis,
- 43:07Speaker 35: Ruby Bossy.
- 43:30Speaker 4: How are you, Ruby?
- 43:30Speaker 9: I'm well, Sammy.
- 43:33Speaker 6: How are you?
- 43:33Speaker 9: How's everyone else today?
- 43:34Speaker 4: Doing well. We're all watching all the stuff going on
- 43:37Speaker 4: out there in the culture. Man, the music scene is
- 43:41Speaker 4: just thriving out here and all the concerts and stuff.
- 43:44Speaker 4: And Ruby, you and I talked about the Sidhu concert
- 43:47Speaker 4: a couple of weeks ago here on the show. Did
- 43:49Speaker 4: you get a chance to see it?
- 43:52Speaker 6: I have heard great things. I've been speaking to everyone
- 43:55Speaker 6: that was working on the show and they said, Ruby,
- 43:57Speaker 6: it was great. People enjoyed themselves. And you know what?
- 44:01Speaker 6: We got a lot of good feedback. So there will
- 44:03Speaker 6: be a lot of stuff. I'll be going out and
- 44:05Speaker 6: actually California billboards and stuff. And I will be personally
- 44:08Speaker 6: launching something for the state of California for the show,
- 44:12Speaker 6: for the people that are involved in it. So that's
- 44:14Speaker 6: going to be huge as well, because we have other
- 44:16Speaker 6: places that the show is going to happen. So again, guys,
- 44:20Speaker 6: They're going to be in Vancouver next, right? And all
- 44:22Speaker 6: these cities. So if you have the chance, I'm going
- 44:24Speaker 6: to say go, you know, it's nothing like being there.
- 44:27Speaker 6: And I read some comments where people said, you know,
- 44:30Speaker 6: to do with here.
- 44:31Speaker 9: So it's just, you know, give you the chills.
- 44:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 44:35Speaker 4: And there's only one person that could have brought all
- 44:36Speaker 4: that room together as well. It's him. It's his legacy
- 44:39Speaker 4: and what he meant to the people there. My favorite
- 44:42Speaker 4: moment from that concert for certain was when the parents
- 44:47Speaker 4: come out with Sid, his little brother. And you see
- 44:49Speaker 4: Sidu just playing. Sidu's little brother playing with the microphone.
- 44:53Speaker 4: And then he does like the whole like, you know,
- 44:55Speaker 4: the pose and everything. It was great. What a moment
- 44:58Speaker 4: that was to see the folks out there. And I'm
- 44:59Speaker 4: sure it must have been really touching for them as
- 45:01Speaker 4: well to be there.
- 45:02Speaker 6: You know, for them to be on stage and be
- 45:06Speaker 6: at every concert they're trying to be at, making it
- 45:09Speaker 6: there with their little children and going through what they've
- 45:12Speaker 6: been through in the past few years.
- 45:14Speaker 9: That is a very strong family.
- 45:16Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 45:17Speaker 9: You know, because it's not easy.
- 45:20Speaker 6: And seeing that hologram that they've been working on for
- 45:22Speaker 6: years to get this possible and make it.
- 45:25Speaker 9: Out and delivered for everyone. It's amazing. A lot of
- 45:28Speaker 9: work went into it. A lot of good people involved.
- 45:30Speaker 6: And it makes me very happy and proud to be
- 45:33Speaker 6: able to be a part of this every time. You know, Sammy,
- 45:36Speaker 6: when we're around good people, good energies, and he brought
- 45:39Speaker 6: some wonderful music.
- 45:40Speaker 17: He did.
- 45:41Speaker 6: You know, there are a lot of people that listen
- 45:42Speaker 6: to him after he passed. I was one of them,
- 45:44Speaker 6: you know.
- 45:44Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 45:45Speaker 6: But oh my god his words had reality they were
- 45:48Speaker 6: talking about what is happening right now.
- 45:50Speaker 4: They really did and his words as you said they
- 45:53Speaker 4: continue to echo out there and also with all the
- 45:55Speaker 4: music that continues to come out there but ruby i've
- 45:57Speaker 4: been noticing on your show in fact i wanted to
- 46:00Speaker 4: bring this up with the audience you know on our
- 46:03Speaker 4: show here on the bridge we we talk to musicians
- 46:06Speaker 4: and and it's it's a great conversation it's kind of
- 46:08Speaker 4: in line with what we do but our conversations are
- 46:11Speaker 4: a little bit shorter, but I've been noticing you've been
- 46:13Speaker 4: having some very interesting sit-down conversations with some very accomplished
- 46:17Speaker 4: musicians out there. And my question to you is, how
- 46:20Speaker 4: has that been for you, Ruby?
- 46:22Speaker 9: It's great. I love it.
- 46:24Speaker 6: Because, you know, when we start chatting away, you know,
- 46:27Speaker 6: because we speak before and after.
- 46:29Speaker 25: Yeah.
- 46:29Speaker 6: So, we'll have like a full one-hour conversation. We're just
- 46:32Speaker 6: going at it, right? And everyone is wonderful. We have Monica,
- 46:37Speaker 6: we have Jish and Milaji, we have Dural Vandava.
- 46:40Speaker 9: We have Noor Zoraji, the Giddap team from India.
- 46:43Speaker 6: And Amardeep Ji from the movie Long Last. She spoke
- 46:48Speaker 6: to him. So a lot of good people. And I
- 46:50Speaker 6: hope I didn't forget anybody. And we're working on speaking
- 46:52Speaker 6: to Lambert Basanpuri as well. He may have a show
- 46:56Speaker 6: coming to the U.S. We will know by the end
- 46:58Speaker 6: of the week. So it's wonderful. And, you know, Sammy,
- 47:01Speaker 6: the best part is having these people on my cell phone. Like, oh, yeah,
- 47:04Speaker 6: I wonder what so-and-so is doing. And being in connection
- 47:07Speaker 6: with them. But everyone is so down-to-earth. and just such
- 47:11Speaker 6: good people it gives me just good energy right so
- 47:14Speaker 6: anyone that we can speak to and I've actually had
- 47:16Speaker 6: some other artists reach out to me that I had
- 47:19Speaker 6: you know love their music and he's like hey Ruby
- 47:21Speaker 6: can you do a video for this song and I'm
- 47:23Speaker 6: like oh my gosh like these are songs that you
- 47:25Speaker 6: know you grew up listening to so I'm like why
- 47:28Speaker 6: not right so it's always amazing you know um getting
- 47:31Speaker 6: in touch with good people but a lot of times
- 47:33Speaker 6: it's like oh what is this person really like you know,
- 47:36Speaker 6: and they're just, and I always tell everybody they're human,
- 47:38Speaker 6: just like us, just like they have feelings, you know,
- 47:40Speaker 6: but people, it's, it's, everyone has this different perspective of
- 47:44Speaker 6: how this person might be, but everyone was wonderful.
- 47:46Speaker 9: You know, I love talking to everyone.
- 47:48Speaker 6: I can't get in touch with, um, And even with
- 47:50Speaker 6: the Selena Quintanilla crew, there is, I can't remember the name,
- 47:54Speaker 6: I was in San Antonio, but I was able to
- 47:56Speaker 6: speak with someone else. And I'll be bringing that interview
- 47:58Speaker 6: for you guys as well.
- 47:59Speaker 7: Nice.
- 48:00Speaker 6: Because it's going to be on Tejano music, right? And
- 48:02Speaker 6: at the end of the day, this music is just
- 48:05Speaker 6: a language, right?
- 48:06Speaker 7: We're saying.
- 48:06Speaker 9: But it is the, it's not even the words, if
- 48:09Speaker 9: you understand it or not, it's.
- 48:10Speaker 6: The feeling you get when you listen to the music,
- 48:13Speaker 6: the beat, you know, the passion they put into it.
- 48:15Speaker 6: So whether understanding it or not, I think a lot
- 48:18Speaker 6: of times it's the music that comes through to people
- 48:20Speaker 6: and connects everyone.
- 48:21Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 48:21Speaker 6: And it doesn't matter, you know, your religion, your race,
- 48:24Speaker 6: where you're from, but it's this connection of music. And
- 48:27Speaker 6: it's wonderful. And I'm thankful for everyone that I do
- 48:30Speaker 6: get to speak to.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Oh, that's awesome, Ruby. And you know what? They need you.
- 48:34Speaker 4: They need, you know, all the people here to help
- 48:37Speaker 4: spread the culture more. And I know that, of course,
- 48:40Speaker 4: you do an amazing job of not only speaking to
- 48:42Speaker 4: them in Punjabi, but then also with your audience, you're
- 48:45Speaker 4: also connecting them in English as well. But the fact
- 48:48Speaker 4: that they feel so comfortable with you and speaking to
- 48:50Speaker 4: them Punjabi and also relating to them in a way that,
- 48:55Speaker 4: you know, not many hosts can and not many people
- 48:57Speaker 4: can when they interview them. And so, you know, hats
- 48:59Speaker 4: off to you, sis. That's obviously a big testament to
- 49:02Speaker 4: the great work that you've been putting out there. And folks,
- 49:06Speaker 4: I don't know if you got a chance to listen
- 49:07Speaker 4: to the big Jishan Mila interview that happened yesterday on
- 49:11Speaker 4: Ruckus Avenue Radio. Tell us about that conversation, Ruby. What
- 49:15Speaker 4: was that like for you?
- 49:16Speaker 6: Oh, so you should really let you reach out all
- 49:18Speaker 6: the time and you know getting into interview mode was
- 49:21Speaker 6: that and he is so good he can just sit
- 49:24Speaker 6: there chatting with you and he'll have a song written
- 49:26Speaker 6: just like you know just like that he'll start singing
- 49:28Speaker 6: so you must have listened to the music that he
- 49:31Speaker 6: was like ruby got this song so i'm not mecca
- 49:33Speaker 6: so now you know because i love listening to his
- 49:35Speaker 6: voice I love how much passion he has. You know,
- 49:39Speaker 6: one thing, Sammy, I noticed with every singer I've spoken to,
- 49:42Speaker 6: all of these guys, they had a pull for music
- 49:45Speaker 6: when they were young. They liked sitting down and, you know,
- 49:47Speaker 6: listening to it. They liked, you know, to be by that,
- 49:51Speaker 6: what is it called, that disc player or that tape
- 49:56Speaker 6: recorder or whatever it was in their generation and time.
- 49:59Speaker 6: They all have the same connection. That's what I've noticed.
- 50:02Speaker 6: Whether someone in their family sang or did not, I
- 50:05Speaker 6: was against it. They were like, we had this pull.
- 50:08Speaker 6: And you could hear it in their voice. That's one
- 50:11Speaker 6: thing I've noticed is, you know, they don't need auto-tuning.
- 50:13Speaker 9: They don't need any of that stuff. They are just
- 50:15Speaker 9: naturally so talented. And G. Sharmila loved his music. I
- 50:19Speaker 9: love the wording.
- 50:20Speaker 6: He has reality in his words, like we were saying
- 50:22Speaker 6: about Siddhu Musiwara.
- 50:24Speaker 9: One of the verses, which is such a Nicolai, right?
- 50:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 50:27Speaker 9: And I said, I love your music.
- 50:29Speaker 6: And when I'm listening to this music and then we're
