- 1:47Speaker 4: You know what? Absolutely?
- 1:49Speaker 5: Okay, Listen, I know that I'm having a critical thought
- 1:52Speaker 5: that other people have probably had like five hundred years ago,
- 1:55Speaker 5: But can I just say how incredible it is to
- 2:00Speaker 5: go into a space and see a community of people
- 2:05Speaker 5: together that in normal I'm saying that in inverted commerce,
- 2:09Speaker 5: normal society have have been outcasts and now you go
- 2:13Speaker 5: here and you're like, oh wow, people are alive, like
- 2:16Speaker 5: they are doing really cool things. And I was just
- 2:19Speaker 5: so touched to see that cool. Thanks the Depths and
- 2:23Speaker 5: Comic Corn. I thought there were cool outfits in just
- 2:25Speaker 5: viving to Marvels.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's more than that, you know, so deep there, Well,
- 2:29Speaker 3: it's because.
- 2:30Speaker 5: I took I took my sister with and myself and
- 2:33Speaker 5: my sister we are white and black, and so she
- 2:35Speaker 5: goes in, she goes, oh.
- 2:36Speaker 4: These are my people, these are my people. I'm home,
- 2:38Speaker 4: and she.
- 2:39Speaker 5: Was just like, that person's from that, that person's from that.
- 2:41Speaker 3: That person's from there. You have to qualify calling your
- 2:43Speaker 3: sister white and black, like that's sort of thing. I'm
- 2:46Speaker 3: the opposite. There we go. That sounds good.
- 2:48Speaker 5: Oil and water, Oil and water and vinegar, liquor's and tomatoes.

- 3:13Speaker 2: flash Drive KFM ninety four point five. Here we go.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Here's the thing. Today is a very special day. It's
- 3:19Speaker 2: the fourth, all right, the fourth of May, and if
- 3:23Speaker 2: you are a geek as I am, you'll know that
- 3:25Speaker 2: this day holds with it some power.
- 3:28Speaker 3: It does. May the Fourth be with you? Isn't that
- 3:34Speaker 3: how you say it?
- 3:35Speaker 4: Anyway?
- 3:38Speaker 3: Okay, May the fourth be with you?
- 3:45Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Yes, you're most welcome.
- 3:48Speaker 4: There's two types of people. May the Fourth be with you?
- 3:51Speaker 3: And yeah, okay, were you one of those people? I
- 3:55Speaker 3: thought you liked Star Wars? Don't you like it a
- 3:58Speaker 3: little bit? Maybe? No? How old do you think? I
- 4:02Speaker 3: am almost fifty?
- 4:04Speaker 4: Whoa, that's a crime.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I got some I got some lovely things that I
- 4:11Speaker 2: want to share with you today. Yes, because you've been
- 4:13Speaker 2: working very hard today and you've been doing your thing.
- 4:15Speaker 2: So let's start off with you know, if you if
- 4:17Speaker 2: you follow Cassidy and Iron social media, you know that
- 4:19Speaker 2: we both have a very very big passion for local
- 4:22Speaker 2: and when we hear stories like this, we just want
- 4:24Speaker 2: to just celebrate it.
- 4:25Speaker 3: And I've just heard that.
- 4:26Speaker 2: There is a company called Kaylee Lecher Cookies who has
- 4:29Speaker 2: just landed over one point four million rand in export
- 4:33Speaker 2: deals thanks to British Airways, a company born here in
- 4:38Speaker 2: Capiton and kayle Leicher their cookies and British Airways. You
- 4:41Speaker 2: can only imagine British Airways have chosen them as part
- 4:44Speaker 2: of their their offering on flight. In flight, I should say,
- 4:47Speaker 2: and I'm very excited. I'm happy and well then to
- 4:51Speaker 2: kaylee Cher Cookies. I love it when local businesses thrive
- 4:53Speaker 2: and I love it when they win, and this is
- 4:55Speaker 2: a win.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I wanted to share this with you first.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Thank you so Kyleicher Cookies, we coming for you because
- 5:00Speaker 2: I actually have never tasted kyli to cookies.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yet, so it's going to happen. I do.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I'm a massive sweet treat person. Then this is a
- 5:11Speaker 2: big one for South Africa. Have you heard about Essay
- 5:14Speaker 2: changing the rules related to a new fair pay bowl
- 5:20Speaker 2: because they want to ban employers from asking you what
- 5:23Speaker 2: was your previous salary instead force companies to show pay
- 5:27Speaker 2: rangers upfront. The goal is to pay people for the
- 5:30Speaker 2: role and their skills and not their past. So essentially
- 5:34Speaker 2: what has happened is that if you go and they
- 5:36Speaker 2: ask you what is your salary expectation based on what
- 5:38Speaker 2: you earned last time. Then a lot of the time
- 5:41Speaker 2: they'll be like, Okay, there's my ballpark and that's what
- 5:43Speaker 2: we can offer them for the job, as opposed to
- 5:46Speaker 2: knowing that this job spec is vast and I want
- 5:49Speaker 2: to pay you what this thing is worth, and we
- 5:51Speaker 2: believe that you have the capacity and the competence to
- 5:54Speaker 2: adhere to all of the job spec details and that
- 5:58Speaker 2: you deserve the salary supposed to say like okay, I
- 6:00Speaker 2: used to earn five thousand rand and now the company
- 6:03Speaker 2: can easily just go we'll give you six. But you
- 6:05Speaker 2: know in the back your mind this job is a
- 6:07Speaker 2: twenty k type of job. So I think this is
- 6:09Speaker 2: going to be a game changer for employees in South Africa.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Public comments are open for thirty days before it heads
- 6:16Speaker 2: to Parliament for ratification.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Very exciting stuff. So there it is.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Love it and then the tiny wins that will make
- 6:24Speaker 2: you a whole day better. I got a top ten
- 6:26Speaker 2: list for you, and let's get some tiny wins. Do
- 6:29Speaker 2: you have a tiny win today?
- 6:30Speaker 3: Go for it? Tiny, small, but significant to you.
- 6:36Speaker 5: I finished a bunch of admin Love it, celebrate small wins.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Congratulations for the admin.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 6:41Speaker 3: No one else is going to do it. But you
- 6:43Speaker 3: did it.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You stepped up, you had a cup of coffee alongside you.
- 6:45Speaker 3: You did the admin right, exactly. Love it well.
- 6:48Speaker 2: The little things hit the hardest, and here they are
- 6:53Speaker 2: if you want to really get a win today. They
- 6:55Speaker 2: say that the top ten features this. It brings instant happiness.
- 7:00Speaker 2: But ten seeing a dog.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Smile, Oh couldn't agree more.
- 7:03Speaker 3: You know what that does. I'm actually doing my teeth now,
- 7:06Speaker 3: so that little thing of teeth you.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Look more like a hamster went into it.
- 7:09Speaker 2: While it's maybe the shape of my face that's don't
- 7:13Speaker 2: look like a Boston Terrea. I always think like I
- 7:14Speaker 2: look like my dog's okay, all right? At nine, getting
- 7:18Speaker 2: an extra snack from a vending machine that drops down,
- 7:22Speaker 2: it's I usually leave the snack there because you have
- 7:26Speaker 2: to be honest. I'm not gonna because you know what happens.
- 7:30Speaker 4: That's more like a raven claw.
- 7:31Speaker 2: You know, you know what happens when it drops down
- 7:33Speaker 2: the two snacks. Man, It's like, I know it's a
- 7:36Speaker 2: technical error, but I'm not going to just like shout
- 7:38Speaker 2: at the machine saying it's your fault.
- 7:40Speaker 3: And now I get two, I leave it there. But
- 7:42Speaker 3: it's a good luck.
- 7:43Speaker 2: It's a good omen getting eight hours of sleep, but
- 7:46Speaker 2: documenting it and saying I went to bed at ten
- 7:49Speaker 2: and I'm waking up now at It's the best feeding ever,
- 7:53Speaker 2: all right, hitting every green light on your drive wherever
- 7:59Speaker 2: you go, Instant happiness, your favorite song coming through on shuffle. Furthermore,
- 8:06Speaker 2: I want to add, do you know when you have
- 8:07Speaker 2: a cool playlist and all of the bangers come through
- 8:10Speaker 2: on the shuffle after one after the other, best feeling ever?
- 8:14Speaker 2: Getting a good grade you thought you failed. So basically
- 8:18Speaker 2: when you do a test and you're like, oh, well
- 8:19Speaker 2: what I did this?
- 8:20Speaker 6: Well?
- 8:20Speaker 3: What first?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Bideer food? When you're starving a cool breeze and a
- 8:25Speaker 2: hot day.
- 8:25Speaker 4: That's it.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Sleeping on freshly cleaned sheets. If you're in a hotel,
- 8:31Speaker 2: the Egyptian cotton would be very nice, you know what
- 8:33Speaker 2: I'm saying, Very very succulent and beautiful. And then a
- 8:36Speaker 2: number one, finding money in your pocket.
- 8:39Speaker 4: That's like a gift to me from me.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Right, It's like I find a ten bucks and then
- 8:44Speaker 2: you know, you feel like you've got good luck with
- 8:46Speaker 2: you every single day and all that.
- 8:48Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 8:48Speaker 4: But the girl math is now thinking you have ten
- 8:50Speaker 4: round more.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I mean. I got you. I
- 8:53Speaker 3: got you.
- 8:55Speaker 2: So I did mention the Kayli cher cookies thing. There's
- 8:57Speaker 2: someone who'd like to attest.
- 9:00Speaker 7: All Kyle cookies are the based.
- 9:03Speaker 8: The nicest one that does not last in my house
- 9:07Speaker 8: is the Smarty cookie.
- 9:09Speaker 4: You have to try it.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Okay, Dan and Dustin, we are onto that very very quickly.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And then another person said, it's not only May the fourth,
- 9:16Speaker 2: but just a massive shout out. It's international firefighters day
- 9:20Speaker 2: to day to all of our brave firefighters and volunteers
- 9:24Speaker 2: who work for those services in and around that fired apartment,
- 9:28Speaker 2: we want to thank you so much for being brave,
- 9:30Speaker 2: for running toward the danger that we run away from,
- 9:33Speaker 2: for keeping us safe.
- 9:34Speaker 3: You deserve and you deserve Kyle Licher cookies today.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Honestly, if I could send you some, I would, But
- 9:39Speaker 2: if you are indeed a firefighter, one of the volunteer firefighters,
- 9:41Speaker 2: we thank you for your service. Welcome to your show,
- 9:44Speaker 2: the Flash Drive on KFM ninety four point five. Now
- 9:48Speaker 2: let's get through those roads. It's Goldfish moonwalk away. You'll
- 9:58Speaker 2: transmit win with clicks on your flash drive on KFM
- 10:01Speaker 2: ninety four point five. Now you know how this works, right,
- 10:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask you to share a certain story. But
- 10:07Speaker 2: today it is all in the build up to a
- 10:10Speaker 2: very special day. This is a day designed to celebrate
- 10:13Speaker 2: that woman in your life, your mother figure or your mom.
- 10:19Speaker 2: So I'm getting a bit emotional post to men. A
- 10:22Speaker 2: song for Mama is good for this moment. Okay, just
- 10:24Speaker 2: just be with me in this moment. Okay, okay, alright,
- 10:26Speaker 2: just be with me, just all right. So, Cassidy to
- 10:29Speaker 2: me everything, is there anything that your mom taught you,
- 10:34Speaker 2: a piece of advice that you gave you that will
- 10:36Speaker 2: live with you forever?
- 10:38Speaker 3: Now feel this song while you thinking.
- 10:42Speaker 9: Is anything or anyone there?
- 10:44Speaker 4: I could beach it?
- 10:45Speaker 3: Just will And now answer, she told me.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Can I do it in the voice and everything?
- 10:51Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:51Speaker 3: Okay, okay in her voice?
- 10:53Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:54Speaker 8: Please do Okay, Cassidy, listen to me. Don't you ever
- 11:02Speaker 8: don't don't test me, eh, don't you ever tweeze or
- 11:08Speaker 8: wax your eyebrows. Please, man, you've got such nice eyebrows.
- 11:13Speaker 8: I didn't work so hard for nothing, please, That's.
- 11:19Speaker 4: What she said.
- 11:21Speaker 5: And now I am I'm the face of good eyebrows
- 11:25Speaker 5: you are.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I don't know why, no eyebrow makeup company or whatever.
- 11:31Speaker 2: It a tweezer company.
- 11:33Speaker 4: You know this is you're sleeping on month.
- 11:36Speaker 3: No, no, no, It's so true, honestly.
- 11:39Speaker 2: But at the same time, one of my best things
- 11:41Speaker 2: at school was history of art, and whenever I look
- 11:43Speaker 2: at you, FRIEDA Carlo comes to mind, and I'm so
- 11:46Speaker 2: happy with that.
- 11:47Speaker 5: I love saw that as like a job because people
- 11:50Speaker 5: would be like, you look like FRIEDA Carlo and now
- 11:52Speaker 5: I'm just like, I look like a strong woman.
- 11:54Speaker 4: I'll take it.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I think everybody should aspire to be your your eyebrows united.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Oh well down to united. By the way.
- 12:05Speaker 2: My mom is, it's quite simple. Yeah, there was.
- 12:09Speaker 3: It always stick with me, she taught me. Charity begins
- 12:11Speaker 3: at home.
- 12:12Speaker 4: That's really sweet.
- 12:13Speaker 5: That's one of the things for you, Like, that's a
- 12:15Speaker 5: big integral part of who you are exactly.
- 12:18Speaker 2: And I love that because it's it's pointless you speaking
- 12:20Speaker 2: certain things in your like you know, out there and
- 12:23Speaker 2: then coming home and not practicing it. I think that's
- 12:25Speaker 2: what it actually means. It's not about charity like give
- 12:27Speaker 2: your money to home first. What it was it was
- 12:29Speaker 2: actually just about just make sure that you do what
- 12:33Speaker 2: you need to do in the home for that pure authenticity,
- 12:36Speaker 2: you know, just to make sure that if you believe
- 12:38Speaker 2: in something, make sure it follows through in all circumstances totally.
- 12:42Speaker 2: And I think that's what I took from it as well,
- 12:44Speaker 2: is that that's very important. So charity begins at home
- 12:46Speaker 2: as a some little echo was me forever. It's beautiful,
- 12:50Speaker 2: including your mom's advice.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Now, essiy just but I mean, I think it's I
- 12:56Speaker 5: think it's it's like it's deeper, like you know, embrace
- 12:59Speaker 5: what you look like.
- 13:00Speaker 4: You're beautiful.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Ah, you see depth.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Now it's your turn's your eight two nine four five
- 13:06Speaker 2: zero nine four zero. What did your mama teach you?
- 13:10Speaker 2: Your mother figure? It could be a piece of advice,
- 13:14Speaker 2: could be a actual something. Please share on the flash Drive,
- 13:18Speaker 2: the official home of Mother's Day.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I love the song wat okay go now A little
- 13:37Speaker 3: like you? What would I know? Jernamloops such a child guy.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Love him one last year for Artist of the Year
- 13:45Speaker 2: and the Best of the Cape Awards, which we are
- 13:46Speaker 2: actually heading to so fast. My word, May the fourth
- 13:50Speaker 2: be with you. It is your flash driving k fro
- 13:52Speaker 2: ninety four point five. Today is a lovely day to
- 13:54Speaker 2: share whatever's on your mind. When I say that, if
- 13:56Speaker 2: there's a confession, if there is something that's lingering around,
- 14:00Speaker 2: every single Monday, we dedicate to a session where we
- 14:03Speaker 2: listen to what you have to say, and we will
- 14:04Speaker 2: never judge you.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Never.
- 14:06Speaker 3: We will never do that.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Okay.
- 14:08Speaker 2: We want to make sure that you are calm and
- 14:10Speaker 2: that you are listened to without the judgment, without that
- 14:13Speaker 2: that look that someone gives you, without that.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Like hmm, what's that? Why would you saying that? Nothing?
- 14:20Speaker 3: We don't do that. Year we don't. I'll prove it.
- 14:23Speaker 2: It is a session of we listen and we don't judge.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yes, I will ask my husband to stay home because
- 14:31Speaker 3: I love having him home, but when he is home,
- 14:34Speaker 3: he irritates the living out of me.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Hey, hey, that's a snicker of judgment. Is it okay
- 14:39Speaker 2: to say that perhaps the thought of your hobby being
- 14:42Speaker 2: with you at home is what you're after, not exactly
- 14:44Speaker 2: him physically.
- 14:45Speaker 9: Yes.
- 14:46Speaker 2: So do you think maybe you could get a cut
- 14:48Speaker 2: out or something made right that would be cool and
- 14:51Speaker 2: him in different positions for you all around the house,
- 14:53Speaker 2: as in like at the table.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Jack, I want you to draw me like one of
- 14:56Speaker 3: your French class.
- 14:57Speaker 2: No, wait, listen to me in positions, wait as in
- 15:01Speaker 2: different physicians, as to where he'd be naturally in the home, Cassidy,
- 15:05Speaker 2: you had something on your mind.
- 15:06Speaker 4: You got to get this off my chest, all right.
- 15:08Speaker 5: If you can't pronounce the person's name, well then you
- 15:12Speaker 5: don't get to.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Play them in the biopic. Are you talking about Cynthia Arrivo.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Yes, it's been announced that she will be playing the
- 15:20Speaker 5: iconic Maria macayber.
- 15:22Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Yeah, And in an interview someone's like, okay, we are
- 15:25Speaker 5: going to play a song, and I want you to
- 15:26Speaker 5: tell us what the song is. And then they play
- 15:28Speaker 5: the click song and she goes, oh, Miriam mccayber like,
- 15:34Speaker 5: I'm so very sorry, I'm so very sorry. Put some
- 15:38Speaker 5: respect on her name.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Please please don't forget that Nat Damon played Frank Cooys Pinal.
- 15:43Speaker 4: Please don't forget.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Leonardo DiCaprio also played at South African the.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Whole movie all I heard, Leody, so nice to look
- 15:57Speaker 2: back at our work.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Sometimes I forget. It's such a pleasant surprise.
- 16:01Speaker 2: It really is, all right, So you know what, we
- 16:04Speaker 2: are not afraid to share what we feel and I
- 16:07Speaker 2: know wants you to be afraid either to go for

- 17:31Speaker 2: and be good to go leak today, let's share some
- 17:35Speaker 2: things from your side. We're going to start off with
- 17:37Speaker 2: a lovely person remaining anonymous.
- 17:39Speaker 7: That's here, good afternoon, cave on the We listen and
- 17:46Speaker 7: we don't judge. I think the city of Cape Town
- 17:50Speaker 7: should pan the modification of certain cause where they put
- 17:55Speaker 7: these lead lights in the I mean in the morning
- 18:01Speaker 7: when you drive now that it's dark in the morning,
- 18:05Speaker 7: it's like the sun is out when you drive on
- 18:07Speaker 7: the road.
- 18:07Speaker 4: It completely blinds you.
- 18:11Speaker 7: These head lights that they are changing with the putting
- 18:14Speaker 7: into the the lead lights. It's ridiculous.
- 18:21Speaker 3: No one's going to judge you their thoughts.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I couldn't agree more.
- 18:25Speaker 5: And even when you drive home at night, yes, you
- 18:27Speaker 5: flash these people to turn off their brides.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Meanwhile, back at the range.
- 18:31Speaker 9: They just have their lights on the sun in their car.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Who would have that in their car?
- 18:37Speaker 6: Do you have sorry, do you have that?
- 18:41Speaker 2: Did I tell you guys had a harmonized judge.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Again, we moved on from that nice day today.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Why are your car lights on?
- 18:53Speaker 3: What were we saying?
- 18:54Speaker 4: Maybe we listen to the next one.
- 18:56Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm all I'm saying is I don't have to
- 19:00Speaker 6: wear my sunglasses at seven o'clock at night nowadays, because
- 19:04Speaker 6: that's it's dark outside those Sometimes when I drive on
- 19:08Speaker 6: the arch and he's seven, I have to put on
- 19:10Speaker 6: my sunglasses because I just have the sun driving towards me.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Ridiculous. Who would do that?
- 19:16Speaker 5: I think he wants to move on pid. Yes, it's
- 19:18Speaker 5: feeling very attacked. We don't judge here, We don't.
- 19:23Speaker 9: We don't judge.
- 19:24Speaker 4: We don't judge.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Okay, sorry, man, I come and to come on to this,
- 19:28Speaker 2: I had to put those in.
- 19:29Speaker 3: You know.
- 19:30Speaker 2: The reason why, please just forgive me. The reason why
- 19:32Speaker 2: is that a mark one golf is lights. They become
- 19:36Speaker 2: like a yellow color and they don't illuminate anything. So
- 19:40Speaker 2: you drive on the M three or even the N
- 19:42Speaker 2: seven and you get your lights on there and it's
- 19:45Speaker 2: just it's not even bright, it's just yellow. And I
- 19:49Speaker 2: was like, how do I change this? And then I
- 19:51Speaker 2: got those Hella lights split into my golfye, so I
- 19:54Speaker 2: could see.
- 19:55Speaker 3: It was only because of that. I don't know.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Maybe it's because I'm I'm getting older, you can see.
- 19:59Speaker 6: But he's got a valid point.
- 20:04Speaker 3: No, no, no no.
- 20:04Speaker 2: But so my lights were like yellow, and then I
- 20:06Speaker 2: just know that I wanted to change it to cool white.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I just didn't know the cool white cool just the
- 20:11Speaker 2: cool one. I wanted to change the cool white, but
- 20:13Speaker 2: I didn't know that cool white is the led that
- 20:16Speaker 2: I think she's talking about.
- 20:18Speaker 6: But also you why he's a valid is because you
- 20:21Speaker 6: don't get parts no for the mark one anymore. So
- 20:23Speaker 6: you don't you know, those plastic things that covers the
- 20:27Speaker 6: actual bulb. He can't find replacements for that to get
- 20:30Speaker 6: clear ones anymore. So put a normal light in because
- 20:32Speaker 6: that's what yellow. It's forever going to be sweet.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Don't judge. Don't forget. You're forgetting the key point of
- 20:40Speaker 3: this conversation.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Judging you.
- 20:42Speaker 5: I'm just saying certain people would like to be able
- 20:44Speaker 5: to see on the roads as well.
- 20:46Speaker 3: All right, no problem.
- 20:48Speaker 2: If I'm not here, you know, because of an incident
- 20:53Speaker 2: in the morning when I couldn't see that, Yeah, that
- 20:56Speaker 2: hurts a lot. I just wow, why are we fighting. Now,
- 20:59Speaker 2: why are you trying to hurt our feelings?
- 21:00Speaker 4: Let's not get into this domestic. Let's the next one.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I've got another anonymous saying, rain in Cape Town must
- 21:05Speaker 2: be banned on a Monday morning?
- 21:07Speaker 3: Could people drive in the rain?
- 21:10Speaker 2: And if it's it's on a Monday morning, it's even
- 21:13Speaker 2: more special.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Jay.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I'm just added that because I feel like that was
- 21:17Speaker 2: the turn of the conversation. All right, thank you for sharing.
- 21:20Speaker 2: And yes, rain, and you know why because rain and
- 21:22Speaker 2: on Monday makes you not listen to go to gym,
- 21:24Speaker 2: not list to go to work, and that's anything start
- 21:26Speaker 2: your week, and then you start off with no productivity.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I get it completely right. Anybody else in the room
- 21:31Speaker 2: want to share, no problem, you want to, Okay, I'll
- 21:33Speaker 2: do mine very quickly. If we have the fortune of
- 21:36Speaker 2: a public holiday on a Monday and a Friday in
- 21:38Speaker 2: any given week, the days in the middle must be
- 21:40Speaker 2: given as discretionary public holidays so we can have the
- 21:43Speaker 2: entire week off.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Thank you so much. Who's next?
- 21:45Speaker 9: Absolutely?
- 21:46Speaker 3: Thank you? Next?
- 21:47Speaker 4: I have one, go for it. Oh my gosh, where
- 21:52Speaker 4: do you ordroned?
- 21:54Speaker 2: There?
- 21:54Speaker 3: I said it?
- 21:56Speaker 5: No, okay, So I went to I went to a
- 21:58Speaker 5: lot of I went to a lot of like little
- 22:01Speaker 5: events and things this weekend, and I just feel like
- 22:04Speaker 5: a certain decorum, you know, when you're going to be
- 22:06Speaker 5: in public places that are indoors.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Just way the drant just made it make it enjoyable
- 22:14Speaker 4: for everyone.
- 22:15Speaker 2: You know that it's really sweaty and all those costumes
- 22:17Speaker 2: of comic corn cassidy.
- 22:19Speaker 4: I'm aware.
- 22:19Speaker 5: But if athletes who play like intense games, they're on
- 22:24Speaker 5: their bucket list, not their bucket lisxcuse me, on their
- 22:26Speaker 5: like list of things that they have to put in
- 22:27Speaker 5: their bag. It's like, must take theodrant. Then I think,
- 22:31Speaker 5: like I have deodrant in my bag just like for.
- 22:34Speaker 3: A regular day. All right, I got you.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Seventeen hammers in that backpack.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Surely there's a little bit of space I got you also, Man,
- 22:43Speaker 2: the Spider Man suit is it's typed man and it's
- 22:46Speaker 2: it's not really breathable because we got it from that website.
- 22:49Speaker 5: So periodically go to the loop and check, just check.
- 22:53Speaker 5: You swipe on a little bit of antiperspirant.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I think a big indicator is that when you're starting
- 22:57Speaker 2: to smell some worse us and no one's cooking them around,
- 23:00Speaker 2: it's time, it's time to roll.
- 23:02Speaker 4: And I'm just saying, no disrespect.
- 23:06Speaker 9: You smell some moussaign. You're not even close to the
- 23:09Speaker 9: n would court.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Your Why am I smelling food in the corill It's
- 23:12Speaker 2: not liquor food, but I'm smelling it.
- 23:14Speaker 4: It's you and it's seven degrees outside.
- 23:16Speaker 3: You know what I meant.
- 23:22Speaker 6: So you know I'll be a bit newsy, but I
- 23:27Speaker 6: mean it was in the news. The petrol price is
- 23:29Speaker 6: going up again another three rant cities somewhere like that, right,
- 23:33Speaker 6: So here's my thinking.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Go for it.
- 23:35Speaker 6: Okay, companies should again normalize work from home so that
- 23:41Speaker 6: we who can't work from home don't have all that
- 23:45Speaker 6: traffic to get to the office, so we actually save a.
- 23:48Speaker 9: Little bit of our petrol as well.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Because I'm voting for you, because.
- 23:54Speaker 6: For aroun to, I leave home at like ten o'clock
- 23:57Speaker 6: in the morning. Yeah, but now there's still the res
- 24:00Speaker 6: vidual traffic from people trying to get to the office,
- 24:03Speaker 6: you know, yes, and then I spent an hour on
- 24:06Speaker 6: the road and I didn't need to. I got you
- 24:10Speaker 6: idle out an hour worth of petrol. Whereas if most
- 24:14Speaker 6: people work from home, it's going to take me like
- 24:16Speaker 6: twenty minutes to get here, which saves me petrolers.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Well with you more car pools, ye, my humble opinion,
- 24:24Speaker 2: more of those Yeah, you know, get I think, get
- 24:27Speaker 2: your neighborhood together, find o way everybody lives, I mean,
- 24:29Speaker 2: with your beaterested all those logistics. I know it's a
- 24:31Speaker 2: bit of a headache, but it's worth it. And then
- 24:33Speaker 2: get some money club by and then whoever's got the
- 24:35Speaker 2: most feud efficient car and has got the space in
- 24:37Speaker 2: the car way. Let's do more gathering, you know, as
- 24:41Speaker 2: a as a people, and let's get to work safely
- 24:44Speaker 2: but economically. And that means we need unity. Yes, that's
- 24:48Speaker 2: what we need. We need to be as united as
- 24:50Speaker 2: Cassidy's eyebrows. And that is how we wrap it up.
- 24:53Speaker 5: And remember, if you are going to carpool, take the orderance.
- 25:00Speaker 3: We listen, and we don't.
- 25:03Speaker 2: J Cyril from down under minds of the flash word
- 25:08Speaker 2: stumbling in. If you're just stumbling in, it's five thirty,
- 25:11Speaker 2: you're a bit late, but I don't judge. Welcome to
- 25:12Speaker 2: your flash drive and KFM ninety four point five at
- 25:15Speaker 2: five point thirty, the traffic report is dedicated to just
- 25:18Speaker 2: acknowledging some people who celebrate some birthdays. This includes use
- 25:22Speaker 2: of is your birthday today? Happy birthday to you. However,
- 25:24Speaker 2: Cassidy has picked someone who's celebrated on Saturday, and given
- 25:27Speaker 2: the fact that only I do the KFIM Top forty
- 25:30Speaker 2: on a Saturday, I couldn't pay homage to this individual.
- 25:33Speaker 2: So now you're going to have to today.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Yes, uh, it's Dwayne the Rock Johnson.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Dwayne the Rock, Dwayne Douglas Johnson.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Don't ruin it, I have to. I think his government
- 25:45Speaker 4: second name is the Rock.
- 25:47Speaker 2: No, no, it's Douglas. No, no, no, I think Douglas
- 25:49Speaker 2: is so much gooder than the Rock. You imagine me
- 25:51Speaker 2: name not the Clippy.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Or you were you mad?
- 25:53Speaker 4: I would much Douglas.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Douglas is fan. I love Douglas. I love Michael Douglas
- 26:00Speaker 3: as well.
- 26:02Speaker 4: But that's just the Rock is so original.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Yes, but the crazy thing of a Douglas is that
- 26:06Speaker 2: in order to get a rock you would have had
- 26:08Speaker 2: to dig and passed in Doug crazy. I think that's
- 26:12Speaker 2: very why.
- 26:13Speaker 5: I imagine people are like, are you stuck between Dwayne
- 26:17Speaker 5: or odd place?
- 26:18Speaker 4: Like your name is literally an idiom?
- 26:21Speaker 3: Yeah, how fun is that exactly. You know what I mean?
- 26:24Speaker 2: That's it. If you want to know who's stuck between
- 26:25Speaker 2: Dane and hard Place, it's Kevin Hart.
- 26:31Speaker 5: But I did I also while I'm here, I just
- 26:33Speaker 5: wanted to say happy birthday because there's a bunch of people.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Okay, go for it, give it a.
- 26:36Speaker 5: Birthday, so Jackie Jackson will on it. Mike Durned from
- 26:40Speaker 5: Green Day, I know you like him, and yesterday was
- 26:43Speaker 5: James Brown, Bobby k Canna Doll and Amy Ryan, as
- 26:48Speaker 5: well as Oh how can I forget Lily Allen and
- 26:51Speaker 5: David Beckham.
- 26:53Speaker 3: When was David Becker's birthday? Oh?
- 26:55Speaker 4: That was birthday, same day as Dwayne Doug.
- 27:00Speaker 10: It was the same on Saturday. Okay, I want to
- 27:03Speaker 10: tell Posh this is great. Listen out for the Dwayne
- 27:06Speaker 10: the Rock Johnson references. And I want you to send
- 27:09Speaker 10: me a message on zero two nine four five zero
- 27:12Speaker 10: nine four zero. I'm a sir.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Now get in, girl.
- 27:16Speaker 2: It's Meghan Trainer on your show, Your Flash Drive KFM
- 27:20Speaker 2: ninety four point five. It's ten to seven. It's one
- 27:23Speaker 2: up time. Before we get there. We had to do
- 27:26Speaker 2: a one up. We had to do the last time
- 27:29Speaker 2: he did it was a musical version, which is correat Yes.
- 27:32Speaker 2: And what Jody tells me is that he's got a
- 27:34Speaker 2: surprise for me. When I give you what is a
- 27:36Speaker 2: bit of a recap, it's to the last one up
- 27:38Speaker 2: musical that we did on the show.
- 27:41Speaker 4: Was a surprise. It gives you the zoomies.
- 27:43Speaker 2: So I'm going to get the zoomies right now. Okay,
- 27:45Speaker 2: let's see what this man had up his sleeve. This
- 27:48Speaker 2: is what happened last time in the one Up the
- 27:50Speaker 2: Musical edition.
- 27:51Speaker 9: Tonight we're doing one up the musical.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Hey, one up the musical. Pick a song, I can
- 27:59Speaker 3: be wrong and pick a song it won't be along.
- 28:01Speaker 6: It's one okay, that change has been approved, Thank you
- 28:04Speaker 6: so much. That will be the intro for the next
- 28:06Speaker 6: time we do this.
- 28:08Speaker 11: It's one up the musical. Pick a song, it can't
- 28:13Speaker 11: be wrong, and pick a song won't belong. It's one
- 28:17Speaker 11: up the musical with your favorite cute girl.
- 28:23Speaker 3: It's Casside.
- 28:27Speaker 6: And I was thinking, what if Cape Town had a playlist?
- 28:43Speaker 6: I was wondering, what would that sound like. You're talking
- 28:45Speaker 6: besides the obvious playlist, water say anything, but what you said?
- 28:55Speaker 6: What would be on Cape Town's playlist?
- 28:57Speaker 5: Okay, I've got one in your mind because we have all.
- 29:02Speaker 4: Seasons in one day.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Very very good.
- 29:08Speaker 2: If I air like a useful song, if you add
- 29:10Speaker 2: a traffic light, all you do is you play this song.
- 29:17Speaker 5: Wow, because there's a lot of traffic, so you always
- 29:23Speaker 5: stuck in the middle.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Oh, this one, I'll play.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Southeaster. Hello, what a way to end it? Yeah, I know,
- 29:45Speaker 3: I know, yeah, that way. I love the jingle.
- 29:50Speaker 9: I'll do jingle now.
- 29:53Speaker 3: I can't believe they.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Sang our jingle on Glee?
- 29:57Speaker 3: Yes, did you? Very Glee? Very y, very clear.
- 30:02Speaker 11: It's one up the musical.
- 30:05Speaker 4: That's that.
- 30:06Speaker 2: That's a song.
- 30:07Speaker 11: It can't be wrong. And pick a song it won't belong.
- 30:10Speaker 11: It's one up the musical? Is your favorite cute girls?
- 30:18Speaker 3: Are we gonna do it again?
- 30:19Speaker 2: Yes, okay, I'm not gonna play it again, but I'm
- 30:22Speaker 2: saying it could be nice to.
- 30:23Speaker 9: All right now, if there's the intro, why can we
- 30:27Speaker 9: need to do it?
- 30:28Speaker 3: We will do it eventually. So what do you have
- 30:30Speaker 3: in mind? Big boy? Whoa first blown?
- 30:34Speaker 2: Now, big boy, I'm gonna help you.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Come on.
- 30:38Speaker 6: Okay, Yes, I'm seeing that there's such a lovely intro
- 30:42Speaker 6: for one of the musical. How about songs that sounds
- 30:46Speaker 6: dirtier than they actually are?
- 30:48Speaker 3: Songs that sound dirtier than they actually are? There? Song?
- 30:51Speaker 3: Are there so many the list?
- 30:53Speaker 2: This one, this one, this one's goody, there are lots
- 30:58Speaker 2: out there. I'm gonna spoil a lot of music for
- 31:00Speaker 2: people today.
- 31:03Speaker 9: Playlist I want to create.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Wait no, no, no no no. Do you have any
- 31:07Speaker 3: like off the top of your head?
- 31:08Speaker 2: An?
- 31:08Speaker 3: Okay, so you have to play for your phone I
- 31:12Speaker 3: don't know, don't access to from your laptop? All right,
- 31:16Speaker 3: that's cool.
- 31:22Speaker 4: Where's your head at?
- 31:27Speaker 8: No?
- 31:27Speaker 2: But when you said it the second time, then it
- 31:29Speaker 2: became you know, man, I think any song that is
- 31:34Speaker 2: that says bump it.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Any song.
- 31:45Speaker 2: It's even like an instruction if you think about it.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Of instruction.
- 31:53Speaker 12: Yeah, come on, okay, okay, okay, somebody, she's still on
- 32:08Speaker 12: her way, just leave her.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Shameman, someone okate you wait, wait, give me, I need
- 32:15Speaker 2: to come for give me and can you give me
- 32:17Speaker 2: a mom.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Poor ilean man?
- 32:24Speaker 13: Shmen.
- 32:27Speaker 3: She didn't deserve that.
- 32:29Speaker 2: It's terrible, man, because my my next song, man, it
- 32:33Speaker 2: doesn't help this situation. You know, I like it, but
- 32:36Speaker 2: an old school rave. Now this there's a cool rave
- 32:40Speaker 2: song by a t B to.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Like my mom listen to.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Socied. So it's a hanger. It's a good it's a
- 33:01Speaker 3: good dance staff song.
- 33:05Speaker 4: It's a Beatles song.
- 33:06Speaker 3: I know this one. Come together?
- 33:09Speaker 2: Yes, yes, you're we are messing up quality songs. You
- 33:14Speaker 2: know what this is gonna tickle Peter? This is fancy
- 33:17Speaker 2: you ready?
- 33:25Speaker 4: Yes?
- 33:25Speaker 2: Man?
- 33:31Speaker 6: If you know you know?
- 33:35Speaker 2: Sorry, you want to get you want to do your
