After investigating the path of the stream, you return to your dwelling with your unwelcome guest. He is unnaturally quiet on the way back to your home. It seems that he has a great amount on his mind. Perhaps having seen the devastating effects of the blight has had him questioning who is responsible? Perhaps even the "villainy" of witchcraft? He is adamant that you do not treat his wounds, but you cannot sit by whilst he suffers, so you treat him whilst he sleeps. You fear it will reenforce his zealotry, but at least his pain is soothed.
