- 0:53And now, ladies and gentlemen. Caged.
- 0:56In MMA. Your pants off my balls are
- 1:01fucked. This is Cajun MMA.
- 1:12And yes ladies and gentlemen, back-to-back weeks it was UFC
- 1:16324 and on Saturday it was UFC 325 which featured 2 absolutely
- 1:24dominating fights with both the Co main event and main event
- 1:29being very one sided fights. In the Co main event, Benoit
- 1:33Saint Denis defeated Dan Hooker with a second round TKO winning
- 1:39in less than 10 minutes. Former MMA fighter Michael
- 1:42Bisping called Benoit the most violent force in the game after
- 1:48now winning nine of his last 12 fights.
- 1:52Then in the main event, Alexander Volkadowski got to
- 1:55fight in in his home country, Australia.
- 1:59I don't know why you put that as everybody knows and did not
- 2:02disappoint, winning by unanimous decision in five rounds against
- 2:06Diego Lopez. This is the second time they
- 2:09have fought in the last 10 months, Volkanowski winning last
- 2:13year in a closer fight before handling Lopez easily in UFC
- 2:18325. Volkanowski now has 8
- 2:20championship win fighting fights at one 45145 lbs, tying him with
- 2:27Jose Aldo for the most ever at that way.
- 2:32You know, it's so great, it's so great.
- 2:35First of all, I want to go to the Dan Hooker, the hangman
- 2:39versus, you know, I believe, and I'll say this, Saint Denis is, I
- 2:46don't know if he's the most violent, but he's the most
- 2:48prettiest to watch, OK? Cuz this guy can take you down
- 2:52and dominate you on the ground as good as anybody.
- 2:55And Dan Hooker came out with the great game plan, throwing those
- 2:58front kicks, keeping them away, using his power, pressing on.
- 3:03I believe Saint Denis because Saint Denis didn't understand
- 3:07how powerful Dan Hooker is. And now you watch Dan Hooker.
- 3:10He's big, long, lengthy, but he has heavy throws and heavy
- 3:14punches. You don't really see him throw
- 3:16as many kicks. But in this fight he had a great
- 3:19game plan. And I thought at the tail end of
- 3:22the first round St. Danny took over.
- 3:24And after he took over at the tail end of the first round, the
- 3:28the violence started to happen in the early second round where
- 3:31St. Danny just completely dominated
- 3:33Dan Hooker. He did ripped Dan hookers top of
- 3:36his forehead at the tail end of the round and and you could see
- 3:40that Dan Hooker wasn't as confident going into the second
- 3:44round like he did in the first round.
- 3:46It, it was, it was to me after the first round, I thought he,
- 3:50he gave his best start of the fight.
- 3:53I think he gave the best press that he can give to Saint Denny.
- 3:56As soon as St. Denny got comfortable, Jake, you
- 4:00saw that he started taking over the fight.
- 4:02Then he started taking him down and dominate him on the ground.
- 4:04I how many times did we see Dan Hooker try to put him in a
- 4:08guillotine and then try to put him in a dorse?
- 4:10He tried so many times in the first round to end the fight as
- 4:14quick as he possibly can because as soon as St.
- 4:17Denny got comfortable, the fight really went on his side.
- 4:20Yeah, I think you're right. I think.
- 4:22I think earlier, right at the end of the first round, Dan
- 4:24Hooker kind of had his moment a little bit.
- 4:26But BSD pretty much had control of that fight as soon as it went
- 4:30to the second round. I mean, he was constantly
- 4:32looking for the finish. He was doing a great job.
- 4:34And I felt so bad for Dan Hooker because poor Herb Dean was
- 4:37trying to just let him get slaughtered out there.
- 4:39It was it was like a bloodbath. He was just letting him die and
- 4:42he's kept letting him take shots.
- 4:43But there's one moment in the in the second round I believe is
- 4:46when BSD had two different points.
- 4:49He had a good like 20 or 30 seconds.
- 4:52He had Dan Hooker in the arm and had an arm triangle choke as
- 4:56similar to the Arm and Sirkin fight that Dan had at the end of
- 4:59the year. And I thought, Oh my God, Dan
- 5:01Hooker, he's going to be finished in the same way.
- 5:03But he is a tough SOB. You know, he was hanging on for
- 5:05a long time. I couldn't believe that, you
- 5:07know, BSD didn't sleep him right there.
- 5:09But then again, it shows just how tough Dan Hooker is.
- 5:12But again, it like you said, it was a great dominant performance
- 5:15by BSD. And you know, he, you know, 2024
- 5:18wasn't the best year for him, but he's really rebounded last
- 5:20year coming into this year strong.
- 5:22It's four wins in a row for BSD. And like he said, he wants to be
- 5:26he wants to fight for the world title or either for the BMF
- 5:28title. So I'd personally give him the
- 5:31winner of Charles Oliveira, Max Holloway, you know, after this
- 5:34March pay-per-view, because he put on a fantastic performance.
- 5:37And obviously we know that Daichi is the interim champion.
- 5:40He's probably going to take on Eliot Saporia.
- 5:42So I would give him the winner of Charles and and Max Holloway.
- 5:46I think that would be a fantastic fight.
- 5:47And then you could even throw in Patty Pimblet right down there
- 5:50to fight Dan Hooker. And so you could have the other.
- 5:53They've have their war online. So I think that's just setting
- 5:56up the lightweight division. Great going forward.
- 5:57But yeah, excellent performance from Ben Wassanthony.
- 6:00He's really, he's really started to come alive.
- 6:02He was a young prospect who I think he got a little bit ahead
- 6:05of himself when he fought Dustin Poirier.
- 6:07Dustin kind of, you know, set him up a little bit for failure.
- 6:10But he's rebounded fantastically taking out Dan Hooker, and he
- 6:13looks to just keep building off his success.
- 6:15Oh, he was fun to watch. I've watched him fight a couple
- 6:18of times but I didn't know how dominating he would be in this
- 6:22fight against Dan Hooker because Dan Hooker early in the fight he
- 6:25he had a couple of straight. Leg kicks that pushed him off
- 6:29you could you could see that Saint Denis was hurt early in
- 6:34the first round. You could see it he was backing
- 6:36up. He didn't want to feel his power
- 6:38and Dan started to get confident and almost choked him out.
- 6:41He had him in that darts for a second and then Saint Denis got
- 6:44out of it and he tried to do it in the second round, early in
- 6:47the second round too. And Saint Denis is such a great
- 6:49ground fighter. He is as good as anybody we've
- 6:53seen the UFC have and this is the best weight class.
- 6:56This lightweight division is probably the best best class in
- 6:59the UFC right now. The dominant force and Ilia and
- 7:02you have Gage of all these guys, Pimlet and now you have St.
- 7:06Danny. St.
- 7:07Danny is absolutely probably one of the more dominant young play
- 7:11fighters that we've seen come out of this way class and out of
- 7:15the, the up and coming weight classes that we talk about all
- 7:18the time. And we talk about the
- 7:20welterweight class for all so many years, it was the most
- 7:22dominated class. Now we look at this class and
- 7:26how great it is. And, and I'm trying to figure
- 7:29out maybe Patty, because he's such a, you know, he he drops
- 7:32from 200 lbs to move up into that, that welterweight
- 7:35division. He might be a better fighter in
- 7:37that welterweight division because dropping as much weight
- 7:40as he does, you can see that it drains him.
- 7:42And then he goes into a fight where he's gaining 25 lbs, 20
- 7:46lbs in a night, eating all that starch and all that stuff.
- 7:49It slows him down. I, I think it's too much that
- 7:52Patty Pimblet is dropping. When you look at Saint Denis,
- 7:54St. Denis, he, he has a smaller
- 7:57frame than a Patty Pimblet and he's got more of a gaugey frame.
- 8:01But his ability to take you on the ground and just dominate you
- 8:04and what he did against Dan Hooker was pretty amazing
- 8:07because Dan Hooker is a good fighter.
- 8:09This is a guy that doesn't quit. He's he's tough.
- 8:12That's why they call him the hangman because he doesn't hang
- 8:15out to dry. So and what's great about what
- 8:18what I saw, and by the way, this guy's face doesn't RIP.
- 8:21I mean, how many elbows did this Saint Denis drop on Dan Hooker's
- 8:26face and didn't really RIP his skin?
- 8:28It's amazing. I for years I watched Dan
- 8:30Henderson and I've seen Dan Henderson get pulverized on the,
- 8:33you know, on the mat and, and his face would never RIP.
- 8:36I mean, he had fake teeth, but his face would never RIP.
- 8:39And I've seen so many fighters. Anderson Silver is another one
- 8:42that his face never ripped. And I've seen him get, you know,
- 8:46you know, at the tail end of his career get pulverized.
- 8:49So when I watch guys like Dan Hooker, not only is he tough,
- 8:53he's vicious. And I unfortunately, he walked
- 8:57into a guy that wants to be champion.
- 8:59He, he told Dayner at the end of the fight, he said, listen, I, I
- 9:03jumped from 12:00 to 8:00. Now I'm ready to fight #1 So let
- 9:07me jump a couple of spots. I want to be champion.
- 9:09So it, it says a lot about who he is.
- 9:11He's a French kid that really believes in his talent.
- 9:15This is a guy I was a soldier in the French army.
- 9:18I it's, you know, when you look at guys that have grown so many
- 9:22times in such a short time, a guy like Saint Denis is one of
- 9:26those guys that four fights in a row in a weight class, it's very
- 9:30hard to compete in. He definitely deserves a chance.
- 9:33I I think you're right. Whoever wins the Oliveira fight
- 9:37in Max Holloway, I think he should fight and that should set
- 9:40him up for a championship fight. Whoever wins the White House
- 9:43fight with between him and Gage, but I think obviously with the
- 9:47UFC and Dana White, he loves Patty Pimlet and Pimlet really
- 9:51didn't lose his spot. He's still there at #3 or #4
- 9:55right now. So he had, even though he got
- 9:57his butt whipped by Gagey a week before, he's still sitting in
- 10:01the same spot he was went before the fight, before the after the
- 10:05last fight he fought against Gagey.
- 10:07So very interesting. And then there's the Alexander
- 10:10Volkanovsky fight. Now, I thought Diego Lopez was
- 10:13going to come out differently, more, you know, aggressively.
- 10:17He didn't. Volkanowski, it took him a
- 10:20little while. His timing came later in the
- 10:23rounds, but you have to beat the champion and even in the first
- 10:27round, even though it was close first round, I think Volkanowski
- 10:31did enough against Lopez where there was no way he was going to
- 10:34lose that round. He he won the round. 8:50 I, I
- 10:37kind of slowly but surely started to, to score the rounds.
- 10:41There is only one round that I thought that Lopez won and that
- 10:45was the third round. That was the only round I
- 10:48thought Lopez won. If the fourth round he did not
- 10:50win, the fifth round he did not win, the second round he did not
- 10:54win. I it was just, to me, what makes
- 10:57Alexander Volkanowski one of the greatest fighters I've ever seen
- 11:00come out of the UFC is his footwork.
- 11:04His footwork is some of the best footwork I've ever seen.
- 11:07When you watch boxers, you watch like Shador or, or you watch all
- 11:12these great boxers that we've seen and all these lightweight
- 11:15boxers that we're seeing right now in dominant fashion, Even
- 11:19guys like Tank Davis who was probably going to go to jail.
- 11:23The footwork is what really sells these fighters.
- 11:26And Volkanowski is not a boxer, but he fights like a boxer and
- 11:30his footwork his his distance to Lopez.
- 11:33He knows Lopez is more stronger than he is, more powerful than
- 11:37he is. He kept the distance every time
- 11:39he needed to throw, you know, a haymaker or he needed to to be a
- 11:44counterpuncher. He was doing that and he was
- 11:46throwing enough kicks inside to keep him keep keep the score
- 11:50fair and and keep Lopez away from getting inside and throwing
- 11:54his, you know, his combinations. Volkanowski was one of the most
- 11:57dominant fights for a guy that a lot of people thought if you
- 12:00lost the fight, he was going to retire.
- 12:02Because there was a lot of there was a lot of stories coming out
- 12:04that if Volkanowski loses and that's why they they made this
- 12:08fight in Australia, because Dana White was looking at as if he
- 12:11loses, he can end his career and put his gloves in the middle of
- 12:14the ring and, and say his goodbyes.
- 12:16But that was his dominant of us of a fight for Volkenowski as we
- 12:21seen that Lopez is not a shoe in fighter.
- 12:23This is one of the best fighters UFC has, one of the toughest
- 12:26fighters UFC has, and he absolutely dominated him in the
- 12:30fight. Yeah, I think you made a lot of
- 12:32good points, like especially for Volcanovsky.
- 12:34I mean, it just shows. I mean, he he's the old man.
- 12:37He just keeps fighting. Somehow he keeps winning.
- 12:39And and like you said, I was kind of, I was thinking that
- 12:42Diego Lopez was going to make a lot of adjustments.
- 12:44I was kind of disappointed in his performance.
- 12:46I felt like this fight was different than the first one,
- 12:49because the first one felt honestly kind of like the Gaichi
- 12:52Paddy fight we just did last week.
- 12:53It was a war. It was bloody, it was crazy.
- 12:56It was just fists, fisticuffs all the way around, both men
- 13:00trying to kill each other. This fight, I felt like the
- 13:03Diego's biggest adjustment that he made was he tried to fight a
- 13:06more technically sound fight where he tried to take his
- 13:10moments and make smart striking advantages.
- 13:12And he did drop Volkanovsky. I think it was in round 3, like
- 13:15you said, where it was probably the the one debatable round that
- 13:17he won. But other than that, to me it
- 13:20just kind of seemed like Diego played it a little bit too safe.
- 13:23He was trying to be a little bit too technical because obviously
- 13:25he didn't want to get into another bloody war.
- 13:27I mean, apparently though that didn't matter because he said
- 13:30after the fight, apparently Dago somehow broke both of his feet.
- 13:33So what? It was a war in the end of the
- 13:35day, but I felt like he just, he was trying to be more smart,
- 13:39more technical, which in the long run was probably the
- 13:42smartest and the right game plan.
- 13:44But in the end, it seems like Volk kind of just took advantage
- 13:47of his timidness. He backed him up as he wanted
- 13:49to. He got some takedowns in there
- 13:51and it just kind of seemed like similarity with Max Holloway
- 13:53maybe, or maybe Diego Lopez. He just doesn't have
- 13:56Volkanowski's number and he can't get it done.
- 13:58But he's a phenomenal fighter. He's young enough to where he
- 14:01will definitely be champion someday.
- 14:03Although it is tough of course, because as a lot of people were
- 14:05speculating and saying, Diego probably didn't exactly deserve
- 14:08this title shot being that he had just fought Volkanowski last
- 14:11year and this was a championship rematch with no fights under his
- 14:15belt previous to this first fight.
- 14:18So if I was personally if I was, the UFCI would say that Diego
- 14:21should probably have to fight some contenders coming up to get
- 14:23another shot at the title. And who knows if Volk will still
- 14:26be in there. I know that they recently just
- 14:27released the UFC London card where the main event will be
- 14:31Mawsar Ebulev and Larone Murphy which will most likely be the
- 14:34number one contender fight which will be awesome.
- 14:36I'm excited to see both guys undefeated, both guys looking
- 14:39for a title shot. And for Diego Lopez, I would say
- 14:42he probably should take on Yair Rodriguez or maybe an even Al
- 14:45Jermaine Sterling. He's moved up and he's moved
- 14:47into the top five after his win over Brian Ortega and he's
- 14:50looked good at that weight class.
- 14:51So I'm interested to see what Diego can do.
- 14:54You know, obviously I still believe in him.
- 14:55He's a fantastic fighter. He just ran into arguably the
- 14:58greatest featherweight of all time and unfortunately he just
- 15:01wasn't quite there at that skill level.
- 15:03Despite that, Vulk is somehow 3637 years old.
- 15:05He's found the fountain of youth and he's he's a monster.
- 15:08He's unbelievable. But I'm really excited for that
- 15:11number one contendership fight going forward.
- 15:13And like you said, I mean, it would have been the perfect send
- 15:15off for both. But like you said, he's he's got
- 15:17plenty of fuel left in the tank and he ain't ready to go out
- 15:19yet. Yeah, he was saying that he he
- 15:21believes that he could fight a couple more fights.
- 15:23And and again, Dana loves him and and the fans love him even
- 15:27here in the United States. They love him in Vegas.
- 15:29He's a big fan favorite and he sells seats.
- 15:32That's what he does And and, and what's great about him.
- 15:35And you watch guys like GSP and and all these other PJBJ Penn
- 15:40over the years, these guys always were a draw.
- 15:43And Volkanowski, it wasn't like just like GSP, he barely lost.
- 15:47GSP lost like two or three fights.
- 15:49Volkanowski's lost like 3 fights in his whole career.
- 15:52And Volkanowski's dominance over the last couple of years.
- 15:56You talk about the greatest fighters of all time when we
- 15:58talk about John Jones and Anderson Silver.
- 16:02And GSPI would put Volkanowski right there up top with all
- 16:06those guys. He's been at that kind of.
- 16:08Dominant fighter we've seen over the years and what's I I know a
- 16:12lot of people go at me and I I put AI put a story out there and
- 16:15I got to send you send you that Jake I I always write the
- 16:18stories after the fights and and I really go in the insurance and
- 16:21the outs of each round. What I think Volkanowski is, is
- 16:25this guy is one of the best at understanding when he gets into
- 16:30the ring what he needs to do against every single fighter.
- 16:32He has a game plan. He doesn't do a lot.
- 16:35What Gagey does where he completely changes the game plan
- 16:38and tries to take your head off. As he said, he's like, we got a
- 16:41game plan and I should have listened to my guys, but I
- 16:44wanted to take his head off. This guy has a game plan.
- 16:47Him and his team has a game plan and he follows the game plan.
- 16:50He kept his distance. He made sure Lopez couldn't get
- 16:52inside. He couldn't throw those punches.
- 16:54The only punch that he really clearly knocked him down, even
- 16:57though a lot of people thought he slipped or he said he
- 16:59slipped, he hit him and he fell, but he got right back up.
- 17:02And that's why a lot of people didn't think he lost that many
- 17:05points in that round, even though that was the question.
- 17:08It was completely dominated. And my uncle told me he
- 17:11disagreed with my story because he watched the fight too, is how
- 17:13did you think of the story? I think complete dominance.
- 17:16Volkanowski absolutely dominated that fight.
- 17:19So it wasn't even close. And anybody that scored
- 17:22anything, you know, mixed martial arts and you watch mixed
- 17:24martial arts, he says it was boring.
- 17:26I said no mixed martial arts are, you know, sometimes there
- 17:29are fights that they're trying to take their heads off.
- 17:31Sometimes it's going to go on their ground.
- 17:33A lot of these Russian guys are going to take you down and try
- 17:35to dominate you on the ground. Or you have guys like
- 17:37Volkanowski and Lopez that they, they have a game plan against
- 17:40you. They're free.
- 17:41Volkanowski was afraid of Lopez's power.
- 17:44And you can tell that he was. And he made sure that he kept
- 17:47his distance so he couldn't throw that right hook or that
- 17:50that left cross that he usually throws to knock people out.
- 17:53And that's why I think, yeah, Lopez, it has it has time to be
- 17:56a champion. Remember, he's a Brazilian,
- 17:58Mexican kid who has a lot of, you know, a lot of time to
- 18:02really grow in the UFC. He's still fairly young.
- 18:05Volkanowski is 3738. How many years does he have
- 18:07left? Maybe 2.
- 18:08If he, he stays at the the top of his game, he might fight one
- 18:12more fight and I'll probably be the White House fight this year
- 18:16and then probably after that'll be next year.
- 18:19And one of these guys, Murphy or Mazvar, whatever, How do you
- 18:23pronounce his name? Mazvar?
- 18:25Mazvar. He he might, those guys might
- 18:28whoever wins this fight will probably fight him on the White
- 18:31House card three months from now, as long as they don't kill
- 18:33each other or RIP each other's face or break each other's
- 18:36noses. So to me.
- 18:38They're, they're planning for this White House, you know, this
- 18:41White House card to be a world renowned.
- 18:43Supercard. Yeah, the Supercard of the year
- 18:45before Christmas time when they always have a supercard.
- 18:48But it it's looking like Jon Jones is going to fight Pereira.
- 18:51That's what it seems like it it seems like that's going to work
- 18:54out the way they want. I'm hearing that Conor McGregor
- 18:57could still fight on that card. I've been hearing some crazy.
- 19:00Stuff yeah, I mean, he he he's he's pushing really hard for it.
- 19:03I mean, and they said like there at least Dan is gone on his
- 19:05podcast and you know, Danny changes his mind all the time.
- 19:07But he said that the plan isn't Michael Chandler anymore.
- 19:10So who knows, could be Max Holloway, could be Charles
- 19:13Olivera, could be Justin Gagee. Hell, even if, you know, crazy
- 19:16enough, it probably won't happen, but they could even just
- 19:18to sell pay per views if that's all Dana cares about.
- 19:20They could even somehow book Iliate Zaporia.
- 19:22Not that that's going to happen, but if he just wants to make
- 19:25money, could be a hell of a headline.
- 19:29Anything with Conor McGregor on on the card is a headline and
- 19:32John Jones. Those are our two biggest
- 19:34sellers, John Jones and Conor McGregor.
- 19:36You know, the president loves mixed martial arts in the UFC,
- 19:39goes to a lot of the fights and, and being at the White House,
- 19:42the first time they're bringing the UFC to the White House is
- 19:45pretty incredible. I, I would have never thought
- 19:47that the White House and Washington, DC would allow this
- 19:50to happen. But you know, President Trump,
- 19:53he finds ways to deliver to the fans and he is delivering this.
- 19:57It's going to be great. Jake, you're fantastic, man.
- 19:59You really are. We got to get you on more often.
- 20:01You really are. You know, you're UFC for sure.
- 20:03We should do. More stuff I just wanted to say
- 20:06really quick. I did think you made a great
- 20:08point about Volk as well when you were talking about his
- 20:10discipline in the in the Octagon.
- 20:12The one thing I wanted to touch on, I think you nailed this
- 20:14completely perfectly. It's almost similar to like
- 20:17Scotty Scheffler on the golf course or Tom Brady, you know,
- 20:20on the fourth quarter drive. He never really seems to feel
- 20:24pressure or even when this is an exhaustion and his most like
- 20:27scariest parts of the fight, he always seems cool and calm under
- 20:30pressure. Even in the Iliad Zephoria
- 20:32fight, which is the only fight he's lost, I believe in the last
- 20:35two or three years, others than you know, of course, against
- 20:37Islam Makuchev, he never really seemed worried in those fights.
- 20:40Sure, there's moments where he's getting popped and tagged, but
- 20:42he's always cool under pressure. And I thought that you made an
- 20:45excellent point there that Volkanovsky, and maybe that's
- 20:47just his veteran experience or getting hit in the head so many
- 20:50times of being in the Octagon. But he's to me, honestly, that
- 20:53probably is one of the big factors of his that helps put
- 20:56him in that go conversation of some of the best fighters of all
- 20:59time. His coolness under pressure,
- 21:01which is what champions have and what I think was one of the best
- 21:04qualities, that makes him a champion.
- 21:05And he said that after the fight when they were interviewing, he
- 21:08says, I found, I found a way later in the rounds to, you
- 21:11know, change my style and make sure that that's what champions
- 21:15do. When you, when you step back and
- 21:16you realize that you got to go, you're going 5 rounds, you have
- 21:20to make sure that you're winning in every single round.
- 21:23And, and, and to me, that's what makes him such a great
- 21:26competitor. I, I think he is the greatest,
- 21:29not only greatest lightweight. When you talk about Jose Aldo, I
- 21:32love Jose Aldo and I remember when he got knocked out by Conor
- 21:34McGregor in in about 3 seconds or whatever it was 7 seconds in
- 21:39fastest knockout. That hurt Josie Aldo.
- 21:42It really did. It really ruined and hurt his
- 21:44career. All his dominance from from one
- 21:47league to the next coming to the UFC, it really hurt him.
- 21:50And that's something that Volkanowski has never had.
- 21:53He's never been knocked out like that.
- 21:54And that's what makes Volkanowski, I think the
- 21:57greatest lightweight champion. And, and yes, I would put him in
- 22:00the top five greatest fighters of all time because of the
- 22:02dominance that he has been dominating in this division and
- 22:06in in a great division, probably one of the of the better
- 22:09divisions in the last eight years.
- 22:10So, and he's been as dominant of a champion as we've seen.
- 22:13So absolutely, Jake, thank you for joining us.
- 22:17Hey, you got a Heck, why not hang around for dial it at?
- 22:20Well, let's go. Why not?
- 22:21Yeah, we should. All right.
- 22:22Ladies and gentlemen, we call the final segment of the night.
- 22:26Dial it up. We interrupted this regularly
- 22:28scheduled hot mix to bring an important news book.
- 22:30We got a big. Broadcast to do here.
- 22:32We we, we're about to dial it up.
- 22:37All right, guys, welcome back. To dial it.
- 22:42Up everyone's favorite Lightning Round Sports News segment.
- 22:46We're going to give you some stories.
- 22:47Errol has no idea what's coming and he's going to give us a take
- 22:51and then we're going to react to his takes in a little bit of a
- 22:54Lightning Round. Errol, take a look.
- 22:56These are the All Star rosters for the All Star Game on
- 23:01Valentine's Day weekend coming up in a week.
- 23:05We got on the left the Western starters, Steph Curry, Luka
- 23:09Doncic, Shay Gilgeous, Alexander, Nicola Yokich and
- 23:12Victor Wenbin. Yama.
- 23:14The reserves were announced I believe a day ago or two days
- 23:18ago. The first ever Israeli All Star,
- 23:21Denny of the for the West, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Anthony
- 23:25Edwards, Chet Holmgren, LeBron continuing his streak of All
- 23:29Star games and Jamal Murray on the East.
- 23:33Yanis and Jaylen Brown I guess are technically the forwards and
- 23:38Brunson. Jaylen Brunson, the King of New
- 23:40York, Kate Cunningham and Tyrese Maxey.
- 23:43Starting as a three guard rotation.
- 23:45The reserves Scotty Barnes, Jalen Durin, The Center for
- 23:49Detroit Jalen Johnson, Donovan Spider Mitchell, Norm Powell,
- 23:54Pascal Siakam and everyone's favorite center in New York?
- 23:59Carl Anthony Towns, Errol. How do you feel about these
- 24:02rosters? Dial it up.
- 24:04First of all, why is LeBron James on this roster?
- 24:07LeBron James has not been an elite player all season long
- 24:11there. I think his record from double,
- 24:13double games, I mean getting 10 points or more this year was
- 24:17broken. After his whole career, he has
- 24:19not been the dominant force that he was.
- 24:21I don't know why he's not. He's on this West unless this is
- 24:24his final year, but he's never announced that this is his final
- 24:27year, so it doesn't make any sense.
- 24:29So I expect him to play next year.
- 24:30So the NBA is just really putting him there because he's
- 24:33LeBron James. But the rosters are pretty even.
- 24:36I think it'll be fun to, to watch, but you know, this is
- 24:38like an exhibition bout. These guys don't play defense.
- 24:41They don't really go out there and put up a great fight.
- 24:44And this isn't the old days, the 90s when Michael Jordan was
- 24:47playing Kobe Bryant. It was fun to watch.
- 24:49It's not like this. They're they're doing stupid
- 24:51alley hoops, bang the ball, bang, you know, smack the
- 24:54backboard and do all these stuff.
- 24:56I'm surprised they don't do with the Earl Manigault where you put
- 24:58on a $20 bill on the top of the rim and try to take it off.
- 25:01It's it's pathetic. It's absolutely pathetic.
- 25:04I I know everybody is pointing it out there.
- 25:06This could be the last year you see Giannis on Milwaukee.
- 25:09Next year you might see him with the Knicks or Miami or in the
- 25:12Western Conference with the Timberwolves.
- 25:14Who knows. I honestly think the Eastern
- 25:17Conference is a little bit better than the West when you
- 25:19look at the reserves than the starters.
- 25:21You just kind of snatched the words that I'm out the last part
- 25:23of that take. I mean, you look at the teams,
- 25:25they're pretty much what we expected.
- 25:27Like you said, I don't agree why LeBron is even on the team at
- 25:30all. It's really just the LJA like
- 25:32we've always mentioned on the show.
- 25:33But really what I want to get into is like what you were
- 25:35mentioning. It's really not much of A game
- 25:38anyways. It's really just the honor.
- 25:39It's really just saying you got picked as an All Star, which of
- 25:42course is a good honor and it's in and of itself.
- 25:44It's just however we see the game and as Stephen A likes to
- 25:47call it, flag basketball. I don't know how I managed to
- 25:50have two hand touch basketball, but that's what we've been
- 25:53witnessing every single year. And the fact is that Adam
- 25:55Silver, they show this meme every year with Adam Silver and
- 25:58he's just going over to the board and wiping it clean
- 26:00because it's every year a new format, every year some new
- 26:03garbage or whatnot. And it's really not even.
- 26:06He's one of the ugliest people to look at too, man.
- 26:09You have the the fist drop. Doesn't he look like Dracula?
- 26:13He's got the weirdest ears and he's got the biggest nose.
- 26:16I, I could you imagine standing in front.
- 26:18First of all, the guy is long as hell.
- 26:19Could you imagine him standing face to face with you and poking
- 26:22you in the eye with his nose? I mean like Pinocchio.
- 26:26I mean, he lies more than he actually tells the truth.
- 26:29So I, I I could see him doing something like that.
- 26:31It's like if Dobby the elf was really tall.
- 26:35That's what he looks like. He looks like Dobby.
- 26:37That's exactly what he looks like.
- 26:39He really does look like Dobby. Dude, you got to put that
- 26:41together, Adam Silver. Dobby, I'll write that one.
- 26:45That's actually pretty fun. Get that one together.
- 26:46That's a good one. All right.
- 26:48I'm too usually too busy making myth in graphics.
- 26:50Well, this one was fantastic. We have a guy who's won 7 grand
- 26:57slams, including now the career Grand Slam, all by the age of
- 27:0222. Carlos Alcaraz wins the
- 27:05Australian Open that is the last one on his list, beating Novak
- 27:11Djokovic in four sets, 266263 and 75, making him the number
- 27:18one player in the world that gives him the career Grand Slam.
- 27:23He joins Djokovic, Andre Agassi, Rodger Federer and Rafael Nadal,
- 27:29who did it at 24 years old, as the only men to ever complete
- 27:34the Grand Slam in the Open era. When I read that I forgot
- 27:38Sampras didn't do that. I guess he Sampras famously
- 27:42wasn't good on clay so I'm assuming that's the one he
- 27:45didn't win. But this, obviously, Errol, this
- 27:50kids for real. He's maybe the next big guy.
- 27:54So dial it up. So let let me tell you
- 27:57something. I used to watch Pete Sampras and
- 27:59Andre Agassi go at it and every time they've played at
- 28:01Wimbledon, Pete Sampras used to kick his ass.
- 28:04But when they played in clay in Australia that it was always
- 28:07going to Andre Agassi. Andre Agassi only really beat
- 28:11Pete Sampras clay. I think it was only one time
- 28:14that he beat him on grass, but it was a great match up.
- 28:17When I was a kid, I, I used to love watching Andre Agassi.
- 28:20He was my favorite, my favorite tennis player.
- 28:22And, and by the way, he he married Steffi Groff, another
- 28:25great tennis player too. But Carlos Alcaraz is one of the
- 28:31best tennis players I've seen at the age of 22.
- 28:34Better than guys like Nidal and all those other guys.
- 28:39I've watched him play twice. I watched him play in Australia
- 28:43and I watched him play for Wimbledon.
- 28:45This guy is so fast. It's such a great serve, can
- 28:48move up and down the court as good as anybody I've ever seen.
- 28:52When you talk about some of the greatest tennis players that can
- 28:54do all the things right backhand, forehand, can get to
- 28:58the net, hits the ball, you know, I think he's his serve
- 29:02goes 130 miles, 135 miles per hour.
- 29:06I mean, could you imagine a butt tennis ball coming that fast at
- 29:08you? I mean, it's scary how good this
- 29:11young kid is 22 years old and has already won four
- 29:14championships. I, I mean, this guy is, I, I, he
- 29:17could go down as the greatest tennis.
- 29:19If he stays healthy, he could go down as the greatest tennis
- 29:21player of all time. When it comes to individual
- 29:22sports, it's definitely one of the fastest, if not the fastest.
- 29:25Like in starting Surge. I remember him first in 2023, I
- 29:29believe it was with Wimbledon, because I remember I, our friend
- 29:32Paulo doesn't bet with us anymore, but he had a bet on him
- 29:34at the time. He was 14 years old.
- 29:35Yeah, I don't think he was like as big of a favorite even at
- 29:38that time. He was even dominant in that
- 29:40stretch. I believe it was Wimbledon in
- 29:422023. Then he won Wimbledon in 2024.
- 29:43That's the first time I saw him play, and it's really so fast.
- 29:47You mentioned Nadal is the same country as him, both being from
- 29:49Spain. This is a faster start to his
- 29:51career, too. So definitely this guy's to
- 29:52live. It for oh, he's better.
- 29:53He's way better than Nadal was when he started.
- 29:55I mean, Nadal, it took him a couple of years to get his feet
- 29:58wet before he won his first championship.
- 30:00This guy within within three years, this guy is the most
- 30:04dominant, but the tennis best player of all time, most
- 30:07dominant tennis player right now in the world and could go down.
- 30:11I don't know who's going to beat him.
- 30:13I mean, the way you watch this guy play, I I I've never seen a
- 30:16guy just dominate the game as good as him and he's not just
- 30:20beating you, he's dominating, dominating you. 62616 nothing.
- 30:26I mean, there are guys not even coming close to this kid, so.
- 30:31All right, let's move on to the next one.
- 30:32This one is absolutely hilarious, and I got a video for
- 30:36it. Here we go.
- 30:38And if you like tennis, we talked some UFC, here's some
- 30:42boxing. I don't know if you caught this,
- 30:45but there was a boxing match that just produced one of the
- 30:48best viral moments you've ever seen.
- 30:51So the story is we have Jarrell Miller, who wins this fight,
- 30:58gets hit square in the face couple of times, leading his
- 31:03toupee to flap up in the middle of the match.
- 31:06Let's take a look at it live real quick here.
- 31:10It was actually. You can see it just kind of
- 31:14popping off already and it's just going to fly in the wind
- 31:19you. Tried to stay gone.
- 31:24That's just unbelievable. It's a strange decision to go
- 31:29with a hairpiece in a boxing match.
- 31:32Obviously a pretty good hairpiece, but that didn't
- 31:36matter. I guess they don't have it in
- 31:38this clip. I thought they do show it.
- 31:39He throws it into the crowd and rips it off his head officially
- 31:44before he gets back to fighting. This guy is awesome.
- 31:49I don't know what else to say other than.
- 31:51Dial it up well, these guys are not going to be champions.
- 31:55I mean, they're not going to beat the top boxers in the
- 31:57world, heavyweight boxers in the world, but they're fun to watch.
- 32:01They were aggressively attacking each other.
- 32:03It was funny when his toupee fell off slowly but surely, and
- 32:07then he threw it out in the audience.
- 32:08I would have loved to catch that toupee because I would have
- 32:11said. Hey could you sign this for me?
- 32:12Or something. Or maybe I'll see him in the
- 32:15future and and have him sign in. I'm the one who caught your
- 32:18toupee. But it was to me, that's what
- 32:21you want to see boxing fights be heavyweight fights like that
- 32:24when they're beating the crap at each other.
- 32:26They went full frontal the whole fight.
- 32:28They went straight at each other.
- 32:31These two guys are fun to watch and he's very fun to watch.
- 32:33Even after the fight when, when the ring announcer came to him
- 32:37and he is interviewing, he says, what was it like getting into
- 32:39the ring? And, and, and he says, how did,
- 32:42how did I feel when your, your hair fell off?
- 32:44He says, listen, I, you know, I, I, I want to entertain people.
- 32:48That's why I'm here. And boy, that was entertainment
- 32:50for him. So it was great to watch.
- 32:52It was fun. And obviously, you know, mixed
- 32:54martial arts has really been dominating over the last couple
- 32:57of years. So boxing needs something like
- 32:59that to bring back the fun in the game and in the sport.
- 33:05Yeah, I think you're right, Earl.
- 33:06I mean, if anything, I'm not if you're the fan that catches
- 33:09that, that's a, that's a trophy that's like that's a souvenir.
- 33:12And for a lifetime you have that memory for you.
- 33:14I can't remember who it was. It was it Manny, it was Pacquiao
- 33:17who knocked out Floyd's tooth. And then it was he put it on a a
- 33:21chain for himself. Like he had that as a memento.
- 33:23You know, he didn't win the fight.
- 33:24But yeah, like the toupee like that.
- 33:26I mean, that that's great. Like you said, you're never
- 33:29going to be champion If you're worried about your hairpiece in
- 33:32a in a, in a fighting or in a, you know, combat sport.
- 33:37It's great, though. It's hilarious.
- 33:38You know, you got you got to love the commitment to the bit.
- 33:41And I mean, if he got the win, hey, you know what, man, you,
- 33:43you rock. Maybe maybe you rock it again.
- 33:45Maybe it's a distraction. I don't know how he was allowed
- 33:48to go out there with that because you know, most times
- 33:50when the referees, they give you the warm up before, similar to
- 33:53UFC, at least when they give you the Vaseline and make sure
- 33:56there's no like visible cuts or obstructions on your body or on
- 33:59your person. I mean, I don't know how he
- 34:01snuck that one past the athletic Commission, but I guess good on
- 34:04it was a good moment. It's pretty funny.
- 34:06It is and again, if you're a boxing fan, that's something
- 34:09that you want to see. I mean, Tyson biting Holyfield's
- 34:11ear that really, you know, that was like the blooper of the
- 34:16weekend. That was the blooper of the
- 34:18weekend on ESPN watching his hairpiece come off.
- 34:20So it was something that was drawing boxing 5th because the
- 34:23Shidor fight was a great fight and and Shidor is one of the the
- 34:27best fighters right now in all the boxing.
- 34:29But people forget that boxing really has not been a drawer all
- 34:33these years and and mixed martial arts in the way Dana
- 34:35White is promoting his product there.
- 34:37He's driving it away from boxing and I think something something
- 34:40funny like that or something that stands out like that will
- 34:43drive boxing fans, especially in the heavyweight division, to
- 34:46watch. As we all know, Fury's coming
- 34:48back for another fight, which is something that I'm excited for
- 34:50so. All right, let's keep it going.
- 34:53We're going to go into what they call, you know, plans or
- 34:59predetermined outcome fighting. Oh yes, the Phenomenal one if
- 35:05you will. AJ Styles shot the world and
- 35:10actually lost his retirement match, the first one that he
- 35:14had. Usually wrestlers have like a
- 35:17dozen retirement matches until they finally retire so that they
- 35:21could finish their run. John Cena just had a year long
- 35:25retirement tour in which AJ Styles actually faced him a
- 35:29couple of months ago. He kind of shocked everyone.
- 35:32Gunther, who is now the retirement, I don't know what
- 35:35are they calling him? Tommy the career, I don't know
- 35:36if like. It's the name.
- 35:38I don't. I don't.
- 35:39Know the career ender or something because he he's ended
- 35:42the let well it's not the legend killer it was Randy Orton but
- 35:45this guy's Gunther's stop now AJ Styles, John Cena and Bill
- 35:49Goldberg either way that guy's the next guy they're giving him
- 35:52the rub and AJ Styles 25 years in the business was for the
- 35:58longest time the best wrestler in the world that wasn't in the
- 36:01WWE going to have the. Booty.
- 36:03When he gets to WWE in 2015 at the Royal Rumble, where he
- 36:07retired. 10 Breaking news. Hot ladies.
- 36:11Darrell, This guy's one of the all time greats.
- 36:15Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble for the men.
- 36:17Liv Morgan, New Jersey, North Jersey, Bergen County.
- 36:21The finest of Bergen County, one the womens''s Royal Rumble.
- 36:27Errol, you were asking me about this all week.
- 36:30Dial it up. Oh, I can't wait to get to that
- 36:32one. So.
- 36:33What I heard is AJ has some significant injuries and WWE, he
- 36:42actually told the WWE, this is what I heard that he he wants to
- 36:46step away. I don't know what happened.
- 36:48I I heard he had back problems over the years and something
- 36:52happened over the last couple of months.
- 36:55And he probably, I think he told the, the the WWE that this is
- 36:59going to be his last fight that he's done and he's going to, you
- 37:02know, wrap it up. So I think that this was a
- 37:05surprise to the WWE because I think he told Triple HA couple
- 37:09of weeks ago that he wants this to be his final match.
- 37:12So I'm not surprised. I did look, I did research it.
- 37:15I didn't know we were talking about this because I was
- 37:18speaking to you about this. But I heard that AJ Styles had
- 37:22to step down, had to leave wrestling because of injuries,
- 37:26significant injuries and possibly a surgery.
- 37:29So that's what I heard. Yeah.
- 37:31So the stuff that I heard was mostly that he just wasn't
- 37:35confident doing his types of moves because he didn't do easy
- 37:39stuff. AJ Styles had moves that were
- 37:42banned, like the Styles Clashes finisher was banned in WWE.
- 37:46Anyone doing that move, not because it was AJ's moves,
- 37:49because it's freaking dangerous. You know, normally on moves
- 37:53you're supposed to tuck your chin like this so you don't hurt
- 37:57your neck. On that one, you actually have
- 37:58to do the opposite. And it's something that hurt
- 38:02somebody early in AJ's career. It wasn't really AJ's fault, but
- 38:05it's a move that got banned. He made a name for himself in
- 38:09Japan. He made a name for himself all
- 38:12over the globe. TNA.
- 38:14I have a feeling now that when he retired, he did.
- 38:18He did the thing where, you know, you're supposed to put
- 38:19your gear in the center of the ring.
- 38:22He was about to put his famous AJ gloves in the middle of the
- 38:26ring and he didn't. He put them back on kind of
- 38:29insinuating that he will be back probably for a mini run back
- 38:34with either TNA since they're back going or you know, maybe he
- 38:38shows up at like next year's, you know, Royal Rumble or Summer
- 38:42Slam. Like to attack.
- 38:45Whatever. There was something.
- 38:46I'm sorry to cut you off, Tom. There's something, there's
- 38:49something going on with injury. I'm telling you that either he's
- 38:53having surgery something and I, I've been reading different
- 38:57things on social media that a lot of the fans believe that he
- 39:01needs surgery and that's why. And he doesn't know how he what,
- 39:05what's going to happen after the surgery if he's going to be able
- 39:08to fight again or he's going to have to walk away.
- 39:10And that's probably why he wanted this to be his final
- 39:13retirement match. Now I wanted to touch on
- 39:15something that Fish just mentioned as well too, but you
- 39:18know, the of course, the sinewent, the momento of, you
- 39:21know, leaving your gear in the ring and what not.
- 39:23I of course, like Fisher's mentioned, I think he's going to
- 39:25finish his run over in TNA. And you're right, Errol, I do.
- 39:28I have heard of course, his injury within the last year.
- 39:30AJ has somewhat been more injury prone as he has been throughout
- 39:34the rest of his career. He gets an injury here and there
- 39:36what not. But my thing is that within the
- 39:38last year, it's he's getting up there in age and he already did
- 39:41say, you know, 2026 will be his last year.
- 39:44Didn't want to of course, do it within the last couple of
- 39:45months. Didn't want to take over John
- 39:47Cena shine of his his retirement tour, but it all makes sense for
- 39:51him and pointing at TNA, the place that really put him on the
- 39:54map more than he already is. Now the spot that you know, is
- 39:58really coming back and really rejuvenizing within the last two
- 40:01years. TNA is now on a major network on
- 40:03AMC. They finally got ATV deal done.
- 40:05No longer on YouTube having to watch it with those ads or
- 40:07whatnot. You know, it all makes sense
- 40:10with all the talent over there now with even one of the guys we
- 40:12met last year and at the Super Bowl, AJ Francis, he has many
- 40:16talent over there. Leon Slater, there's a lot of
- 40:18talent and a lot of guys over there that it all makes sense
- 40:20for him to finish, have a bit of a run, two months run, couple
- 40:24matches here and there, putting a couple guys over over in TNA.
- 40:27Yeah, I really one of the few guys I've ever been, like, super
- 40:31excited about that came over to WWE from somewhere else.
- 40:35All right, so last story for the night, Errol, you mentioned this
- 40:39earlier talking to Quinn and couples and man, I did not know
- 40:44that this story was going to take this turn because the
- 40:48mystery woman is not yet revealed.
- 40:52But we have now at least a report that Brittany is real.
- 40:59Yes, Errol, Brittany, I guess Rodgers, I don't know if she
- 41:03took his last name or not, but according to Jen Hale, who
- 41:10reporting for Fox Sports, I can't say who she is.
- 41:16If I could, I would, but I can't.
- 41:20He's happy. He's in a really good spot.
- 41:23So what in the world is going on here?
- 41:26So here's the deal. Apparently everybody knows, Hale
- 41:32told the Daily Mail. I can't say who she is.
- 41:35I've never met her. I don't know her.
- 41:38Aaron has become a friend over the years, so I wish him the
- 41:42very best. I think he's happy and that's
- 41:44all you want for your people. You want them to find their
- 41:47comfort zone and their happiness.
- 41:49He went through some tough, really tough times.
- 41:51I'm glad he's in such a good place now.
- 41:55But. So Errol, Miss Hale is kind of
- 42:00insinuating that this is a famous person that Aaron Rodgers
- 42:05is married to this Brittany. You want to jerk me off?
- 42:09Could this possibly be the Brittany that once asked to hit
- 42:13her baby one more time? Dial it up.
- 42:16First of all, and I say first of all, because how does this
- 42:21reporter actually know that Aaron Rodgers is married to a
- 42:24woman named Britney? Why?
- 42:26Because they're friends. And he said it.
- 42:28She never even met her, So how would she know?
- 42:30That's what I want to know. How would you know?
- 42:33Because you're Aaron Rodgers friends.
- 42:35Nobody, not even including his friends, people that have known
- 42:38him, even people that we've had on the show knows if this story
- 42:42is true. But she knows she's a reporter.
- 42:45I know that Aaron Rodgers is married.
- 42:47I know he's in a good place. How the hell do you know he's in
- 42:50a good place? Well, you never met the lady.
- 42:52All I want to know is if you think she exists, why haven't
- 42:55you met her? Nobody else has.
- 42:58All we know is her name is Brittany.
- 42:59And like I said, the only person I believe or thing that he named
- 43:04Brittany is his hand that he jerks off with.
- 43:07Honest to God, there is no way this woman exists because if she
- 43:11did, somebody would have seen her.
- 43:14Nobody knows that she exists. All we know is Aaron Rodgers
- 43:18wears a black ring on his throwing arm.
- 43:20That's it. That's all we know.
- 43:22So any, anybody could be wearing a ring.
- 43:24Speedy could be wearing a ring. I could be wearing a ring.
- 43:26Does that mean I'm married to some woman named Brittany?
- 43:29My girlfriend's name's Brittany. But I mean, at least I'm honest
- 43:32about it. I mean, people have actually
- 43:34seen her. Nobody's seen Aaron Rodgers,
- 43:37Brittany. And now we have a reporter who
- 43:40says that he's she's very good friends with and, and says, oh,
- 43:44I know she exists because Aaron's in a good place.
- 43:47Aaron's never in a good place. The only time he's in a good
- 43:50place is when he's high. Give me a break.
- 43:52It's a lie. It's a cheat.
- 43:54What a joke. There is no Brittany.
- 43:57Yeah, unless it's like 1 of Jed Hale's very closest friends
- 44:00who's not going to be like that famous of whether she wouldn't
- 44:02have revealed herself on her own anyway.
- 44:04Like it doesn't, it doesn't make a lot of sense.
- 44:05Or maybe even Brittany's a cover name at this point for somebody
- 44:08who's actually famous but doesn't want to reveal her
- 44:10herself or whatever. Maybe just wanting to hide in
- 44:13Aaron Rodgers a secret bunker and doesn't make some Iowa say
- 44:17it doesn't make a lot of sense. I think there's a lot more
- 44:19conspiracy theories that could go around and Aaron Rodgers and
- 44:22her name really is Brittany. You better watch out for NIFID
- 44:24because she NIFID wants to Brittany too and.
- 44:26It has shut the music. Shut the music, honest to God.
- 44:30You know, Tommy wanted to get something and I think we all
- 44:33wanted to have a little. We're always going to mystery.
- 44:36But I was just going to say, was that actually it is reported, I
- 44:39was rumored and heard that, you know, he actually met her in one
- 44:42of his dark darkness retreats. You know, he kind of met her in
- 44:45the dark. He's sitting there just kind of
- 44:47reaching for his ayahuasca. And yeah, there we go.
- 44:49It's like love at first sight. It wasn't that sight.
- 44:51It was. Sad.
- 44:52Love at first hand, love at first.
- 44:54Hallucination. It was his hands that he thought
- 44:57was a woman. But yeah, no, honestly, who
- 45:00really gives a shit? I don't.
- 45:01I don't personally care. I could.
- 45:04I could care less if we find out tomorrow, next year, the year
- 45:07after. Yeah.
- 45:09He's going to be in retirement anytime soon anyway, so.
- 45:13Well, I mean, he could be retiring, but he could be
- 45:17getting the fountain of youth in the darkness, you know, with the
- 45:20Joshua Tree hanging out. My Indo.
- 45:22Knee hanging out with Nathan, probably Nathan's hanging out
- 45:26with. Should be over right now.
- 45:28Or at the Pro Bowl for tomorrow and you know Nathan is going to
- 45:32the Pro Bowl, but maybe shoot it.
- 45:35Abuse. It maybe Brittany, it's like one
- 45:38of those like names where you have to like because it's, it's
- 45:41a weird spelling. Maybe it's one of those anagrams
- 45:44and we have to decipher the real name from the letters.
- 45:48Speedy, we're going to put you on that one and we'll figure out
- 45:51who it is. We'll break.
- 45:52It I told you a secret secret celebrity couples are different
- 45:55stick because of the small chance that that might be Lisa
- 45:57ad or not Britney. That was honestly, if it was an
- 46:02adult film star, that would make it the funniest that.
- 46:10Was. Perfectly sized.
- 46:13First of all, Nathan trying to try to get Lisa Ann even to go
- 46:17up to a room would probably be he'd probably have to give her a
- 46:20couple of $1000 for her to even walk up the stairs to his, his
- 46:24dorm room because he's staying with her, his aunt, his, his
- 46:28aunt and his uncle. I mean, there he is.
- 46:31He's hanging out with your door eating, whatever that is.
- 46:33Whatever. That is clam chow, San Francisco
- 46:35Clam chowder in a bread bowl. Look.
- 46:37At that smile on his face that does look like Nathan.
- 46:40I'm smiling. The blue blazer.
- 46:42OH. My God, what a terrible.
- 46:44Do you think that they mimed at each other on their date?
- 46:47They didn't talk, they just. First of all, Lisa Ann would not
- 46:51even speak to Nathan. Nathan would be.
- 46:53Nathan is like 5 foot 6 at best and Lisa Ann is like 5-9.
- 47:00Do you think that Lisa Ann would look at Nathan at for five
- 47:03seconds more than him coming up and him stuttering going?
- 47:06But, but, but Lisa, Lisa, that's Nathan.
- 47:13That's Nathan. I, I, I would love to see Lisa
- 47:17Ann talked to Nathan for 5 minutes and see how he would
- 47:20react to it. I mean, this guy is infatuated
- 47:23with this lady, absolutely infatuated with her and he's
- 47:26never met her, never met her. So there he is.
- 47:36Yeah, this guy is, is a weirdo. I I can tell you that right now.
- 47:40And if he and when he meets people, Nathan doesn't, he
- 47:44doesn't just stand there, he runs after them. yo-yo, yo-yo,
- 47:47yo. You know who I am?
- 47:49NRRRRRR. Yeah, He barely knows how to say
- 47:52that. I love you, Nathan.
- 47:53But he's he's, he's going to San Francisco on our stead and
- 47:58hopefully he gets some good interviews for us and, and, and
- 48:02get some good proposed personalities to come on a show
- 48:07in the future. But as far as I'm concerned,
- 48:10Niffin is one of the weirdest people you'll ever meet.
- 48:12And if there's any women around him, you'd have to worry.
- 48:17He put them on a leash. It really, he is like a serial
- 48:21killer. Niffin his eyes.
- 48:24He he, he wears the same outfits every single day.
- 48:28Every single. It's the blue blazer he wears
- 48:30that he wears this red. Like what do they call that polo
- 48:36shirt? Polo shirts.
- 48:37Camo pants. He wears the same crap every day
- 48:41and I'm surprised all the guys that he meets over and over
- 48:44again, like he meets athletes over and over and over again at
- 48:48these autograph signings. I'm surprised nobody says, hey,
- 48:51didn't you wear that last time? He needs to put that that blue
- 48:57blazer to rest, guys. Oh wow, you haven't done that
- 49:00one in a while. What is that?
- 49:03Is he is supposed to be Don King over there?
- 49:06Something like that, I don't know.
- 49:10This guy and, and, and, and after all the Kobe Bryant
- 49:14stories and all that other stuff, he jumps in a helicopter
- 49:17in South Africa when it's very windy over there.
- 49:19What is he nuts? I would definitely not do that.
- 49:23I mean, that guy is one of he's definitely one in a million.
- 49:27And if he's listening, you know I love you Nathan, but you are
- 49:30one of the weirdest people I've ever met in my entire.
- 49:32Life Trust. Me, you are weird.
- 49:34Could you imagine if if I went to San Francisco, I would have
- 49:38been with Nathan and Speedy? Those would be my guys.
- 49:42Could you imagine me walk around with these two guys?
- 49:45I mean, Speedy with his personality, and then Nathan
- 49:48running around with that blue blazer and his khakis front
- 49:52massage pants. I mean, I mean, the last time we
- 49:57went out to Hofstra to this autograph signing, I had to tell
- 50:01Nathan when we walked into the room that his pants was
- 50:03zippered, unzippered and that his underwear was hanging out of
- 50:07his pants. Speedy, you remember that
- 50:08vaguely. Yeah.
- 50:09So I said zipper your pants. And he's like, you know, and
- 50:15then he actually walked up to people and, and he was trying to
- 50:18introduce us. I, I, I got to say, Nathan does
- 50:20know a lot of people. He's very likable person, but
- 50:22he's one of the weirdest people. I'd like to thank everybody that
- 50:25listens to our show, all the fans on Spotify and Apple video
- 50:30and audio, all the fans 107th. We were ranked at I think on
- 50:35Saturday. So, and we are amongst the best
- 50:39in the country. And we like to thank all the
- 50:40fans that download and follow us and search for us.
- 50:44We really appreciate you because sorry that Jabba did not join
- 50:47us. He he decided to stay in New
- 50:48York for another extra day. He told me at 4:30 that he's
- 50:53getting on his plane now. I'm like, dude, you're not going
- 50:55to make it to the show. He's like, I'm going to try to
- 50:57make it. I knew he wasn't going to make
- 50:59it. And he's probably listen to the
- 51:00show right now. So hopefully we got Jabba for
- 51:03the whole show on Thursday. But yeah, thank you to all the
- 51:06TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, all the fans on those platforms,
- 51:12YouTube job in the mouth. We really appreciate all you
- 51:15guys Speedy who we have on. Thursday, all right, Super Bowl
- 51:18champion 8:45 will be joining us, former New York Giants tight
- 51:22end Howard Cross. Oh, that's right, that's right.
- 51:25Nathan was the one that scooped him up.
- 51:26Yes, he was. And one of the better goal line
- 51:29defenders of all time, right? Is it?
- 51:31Is it? No, that was Gary Reasons.
- 51:33He'll be out in a. Few weeks.
- 51:34That's right. That's right.
- 51:35Howard Cross. I'm trying to remember.
- 51:36Howard Cross. I don't.
- 51:37Remember the tight end Shockey's back up?
- 51:42Now I remember him because I I did.
- 51:45I was an executive producer for Imani Toomer.
- 51:47So Imani Toomer used to tell me a lot of different stories about
- 51:50those teams before the Super Bowl championship.
- 51:54He did all The Dirty work while Shocky got to line up and go out
- 51:57for passes. Cross was a great blocker and he
- 52:00caught some passes too. He was a good, halfway decent
- 52:02athlete. All right, All right.
- 52:04Howard Cross will be joining us. So very interesting.
- 52:07Thank you again to all the fans. We'll be back on Thursday.
- 52:10Yes, Jabba will be here on Thursday.
- 52:12Better be I'll smack up silly. I got a chance to meet him on
- 52:15Saturday. So that was interesting both of
- 52:18us together. It's like I knew him for years.
- 52:20It really is. And he he I got to give a shout
- 52:23out to Jabba. He was very kind to my friends,
- 52:25very cool to my friends and try to pick on my size at which
- 52:29you're only four inches bigger than me.
- 52:30Buddy. Stop bragging about it When I
- 52:32steal a base against you. Then you can you can start
- 52:36kissing my ass my friend. I love you anyways.
- 52:38Goodnight, farewell. It is the worldwide sports radio
- 52:43network, Radio network.
