  Speaker 1: in prayer. And as we begin this brand new year,

  Speaker 1: I want to encourage you to have new beginnings with God.

  Speaker 2: And that's what I want to pray about.

  Speaker 1: Make sure all of your new beginnings begin with God,

  Speaker 1: having a father in the name of Jesus Christ. As

  Speaker 1: we step into this brand new year, we come before

  Speaker 1: you with grateful hearts and hopeful spirits. Thank you, God

  Speaker 1: for carrying us through every moment of the year, behind
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: us the joys we celebrated, the tears we cried, the

  Speaker 1: lessons God we learned, and even the strength you gave

  Speaker 1: when we didn't think.

  Speaker 2: We could make it.

  Speaker 1: Lord, We're still standing because of your grace.

  Speaker 1: As this new year begins, we place it wholly, completely, fully.

  Speaker 2: In your hands. God.

  Speaker 1: We surrender our plans, We surrender our expectations, We surrender

  Speaker 1: our fears and even our desire. We ask you to

  Speaker 1: go before us, ordering our steps, guarding our hearts, and

  Speaker 1: guiding our decisions. Let this year be marked not by

  Speaker 1: our own strength, but by our complete dependence on You. Lord,

  Speaker 1: heal what is still hurting from last year. Man broken relationships. God,

  Speaker 1: restore weary souls. Close doors God that no longer serve

  Speaker 1: Your purpose, and open doors in our lives.

  Speaker 2: God that only you can open.

  Speaker 1: Where there's been loss, Bring comfort, God where there's been disappointment,

  Speaker 1: Bring hope where there's been uncertainty. You bring peace. God, Father,

  Speaker 1: give us fresh vision for.

  Speaker 2: This new year.

  Speaker 1: Help us to walk in obedience, Help us to walk

  Speaker 1: in humility, Help us to walk in faith. Teach us

  Speaker 1: to trust You more deeply, love You God more freely,

  Speaker 1: forgive others more quickly, and live more intentionally. Let this

  Speaker 1: be a year God where our faith grows stronger. Let

  Speaker 1: this be a year God where our joy runs do.

  Speaker 1: Let this be a year where our lives reflect your

  Speaker 1: goodness to everyone we encounter. Lord, we thank you that

  Speaker 1: new beginnings are your specialty. Your word says your mercies

  Speaker 1: are new every morning, and today God, we receive those

  Speaker 1: mercies with open hearts. We step forward believing that the

  Speaker 1: same God who brought us through yesterday is already walking

  Speaker 1: with us.

  Speaker 2: Into our tomorrow.

  Speaker 1: So today, Father, we commit this brand new year to you.

  Speaker 1: Let it be filled with your presence, guided by your wisdom,

  Speaker 1: and covered by your grace. No matter what comes God,

  Speaker 1: we're gonna trust you, we're gonna praise you, or we're

  Speaker 1: gonna follow you because our future is safe in your hands.

  Speaker 1: The steps of the righteous are ordered by you, and

  Speaker 1: we are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.

  Speaker 2: Thank you for ordering our steps.
