  [SPEAKER_00]: one was Walker Little is Walker Little was a starter and twenty twenty five to get things going but that replaced by co-van land and who we don't know what his status is gonna be co-van land in uh... knee injury at the end of the year had to have surgery don't know when he's gonna be back but uh... a remarkable amount of continuity going into twenty twenty six but following twenty twenty six as a cleavent

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have two guys that I think are pretty much center-onlys at the NFL-level Robert Hainesy going into the second year of his contract, Jonah Monheim going into year two.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He even played like left tackle, but I just don't think you have the size to do that at the NFL level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And the reason we're highlighting him specifically in this video is because he's from Czechsville.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Offensive Lyman, Austin Barber, out of the University of Florida, played at Trinity Christian.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So a player that is uniquely familiar with Jacksonville and I think the Jacksonville Jaguars probably uniquely familiar with him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has reportedly had a meeting with Jaguars' offensive line coach Sean Sarat.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So there's definitely some level of interest and at least getting to know more about Austin Barber.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think at max, he would be a third round pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like the highest he would go, I think is a third round pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the lowest he could probably go is fourth or fifth round.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I think maybe you could be talking about, I think 88 personally would probably be a little bit early but maybe around 100, the Jaguars could be looking at Austin Barber, maybe 124.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Talk about getting to 164 with the Jaguar as next pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But my best guess would be 100 to 124.

  [SPEAKER_00]: a good athlete, good size, size wise and athletic profile, and just watching him, I see a lot of Ezra Cleveland in his game, and Ezra Cleveland is a guy who played tackle in college and converted to guard, could Austin Barber potentially do the same thing, maybe?

  [SPEAKER_00]: just going through his mock draftable spider chart.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's six, seven, he's three, eight team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Arm length, much more average, 33 and an eighth.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's, you know, way below average for offensive tackle at the NFL level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That the Jaguar is neat and offensive tackle only.

  [SPEAKER_00]: No, to me, they could use somebody who can play tackle a Vanguard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When you look at arm length 33 and an eighth compared to offensive Lyman versus just offensive tackles, it's 36%ile, so that goes up a good bit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, five one two, 40 are dash is 74th percentile, 32 inch vertical, 87th percentile, one eleven broad, 84th percentile,

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's an explosive guy at 6, 7, 3, 8, 18.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So from an athleticism standpoint, I definitely think he's an NFL caliber guy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: On tape, if you just watch his best plays, you might think he's like a late first round, early second round prospect, but the problem is there's a lot of inconsistency with his technique.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But what you can get excited about is there's also great moments of technique.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he just displays a snatch trap.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He displays a two hand punch.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He overly reliant on those two things, maybe.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think again, the athleticism, the foot quickness to get to his spot, to get to his landmark, the physical ability is there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, he's got an attitude a demeanor about him where he wants to drive his opponent into the dirt, he wants to humiliate his opponent and you like to see that from an offensive line prospect.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so again, there's like some level of risk here where it's like, the good is really good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The bad.

  [SPEAKER_00]: is pretty bad because you see him off balance at times and pass protection, you see him missing his strikes and pass protection, see him missing his mark with his hands at times, just inconsistencies.

  [SPEAKER_00]: to be a good starter in the NFL.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Also, potential if these kinks don't get worked out to where you're scared to have them on the field because going up against NFL competition, those guys are going to be able to exploit his technical inconsistencies and inefficiencies.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why I think they'll probably be

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a third round pick of a team is just like we love this guy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We can coach him up, we can teach him the fundamentals of being more consistent.

  [SPEAKER_00]: All the physical, all the physical traits are there that we need.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we feel good about kicking him inside the guard too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so we see a pathway at multiple positions.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We see versatility.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We see the guy that has a dog, and I'm like, just violent, high effort, motor.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, gonna be fascinating to see where he goes.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars have met with him, shown some interest.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm interested, for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The cool story that would be, I think ultimately the Jaguar's interest in him is going to come down to, do they think any of his inconsistencies are unfixable?

  [SPEAKER_00]: A, B, like, do they feel like this is somebody who wants to work?

  [SPEAKER_00]: If they feel like he's somebody who wants to work and fits their culture and by being himself, you know, as James Gladstone says, is going to elevate the team, then I think they'll be in on him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If not, probably end up searching elsewhere for offensive line talent.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a lot of candidates for upgrading the back end of the Jaguar's offensive line room immediately and then potentially being a

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I think Austin Barber fits that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's just whether or not the Jaguar is believe in the person and whether or not they think any of those inefficiencies are really problematic and not coachable and not fixable at the next level.
