- 0:04Viewer discretion advised. A young pilot from Memphis who
- 0:18attempted a solo flight to all 7 continents is being detained in
- 0:23Antarctica. Flying into a legal storm, 19
- 0:26year old Ethan Guo has landed himself in deep trouble after he
- 0:30touched down in Chilean Antarctica.
- 0:32Hauled before the courts after making an unauthorized flight.
- 0:37On June 28th, 2025, a small Cessna 182 takes off from Punta
- 0:42Arenas, Chile. At the controls is Ethan Guro, a
- 0:4619. Year old American pilot.
- 0:49Ethan's mission to land on every continent to raise funds for
- 0:52childhood Cancer Research. By all accounts, his mission is
- 0:56courageous, noble, and meticulously planned.
- 1:00But shortly into his flight, Ethan deviates sharply from his
- 1:03official flight path, altering his course southward toward one
- 1:06of the most restricted and heavily monitored locations on
- 1:09Earth, Antarctica. Without authorization, Ethan
- 1:13lands at Chile's Lieutenant Rodolfo Marsh base on King
- 1:15George Island. He is swiftly detained by
- 1:18military personnel, his aircraft grounded, and within hours
- 1:22Chilean authorities announce an official investigation.
- 1:25The stated charge? Violation of international
- 1:28airspace and falsifying his flight plan.
- 1:31Ethan insists it was an emergency, an unavoidable
- 1:34response to mid flight complications, but authorities
- 1:38are unconvinced. Antarctica has long been more
- 1:41than just a frozen wasteland. It's a continent wrapped in
- 1:44secrecy, subject to tightly controlled treaties and military
- 1:48oversight by nations around the globe.
- 1:50For decades, rumors have persisted of something
- 1:53extraordinary hidden beneath its miles of ice.
- 1:56Ancient structures, lost civilizations, secret military
- 1:59bases, and perhaps even evidence of advanced beings who visited
- 2:02Earth long before recorded history.
- 2:05Did Ethan fly too close to something he was never supposed
- 2:08to see? For decades?
- 2:10Anyone who approaches Antarctica without explicit permission
- 2:14risks swift consequences, just begging us to ask what might lie
- 2:18beneath the continent's icy surface.
- 2:20Ancient pyramids sealed away from millennia.
- 2:23Portals capable of bridging distant worlds.
- 2:26Technology far beyond our modern understanding.
- 2:30Perhaps even traces of a lost civilization or extraterrestrial
- 2:34encounters. Ethan's story asks the
- 2:36unavoidable question if there's nothing to hide, why silence a
- 2:41teenage pilot on a charitable mission?
- 2:44What secrets lie waiting beneath Antarctica's ice?
- 2:47And how far are the powers in control willing to go to keep
- 2:50them from ever being revealed? Antarctica.
- 2:53A continent of ice. But what secrets lie frozen
- 2:56beneath, and what are they trying to hide from us?
- 3:38Good evening. This is Frank Knight.
- 3:40May I introduce our Co editors for this edition of The Longing
- 3:43Chronoscope, Larry Laser, CBS News correspondent and Kenneth
- 3:48Crawford, National Affairs Editor of Newsweek magazine.
- 3:51Our very distinguished guest for this evening is Admiral Richard
- 3:55E Byrd. Our guest tonight found out
- 4:00whether there was any land north of the North American continent.
- 4:04He made that first discovery flight.
- 4:06And I must say that Admiral Byrd, our guest tonight, is not
- 4:09only our greatest living explorer, but he's been an
- 4:12inspiration to countless Americans.
- 4:14Admiral Byrd, you've been to both the North Pole and the
- 4:16South Pole. Is there any unexplored land
- 4:19left on this earth that might appeal to adventurous young
- 4:23Americans? Yes there is, and not up around
- 4:27the north. Pole because.
- 4:28It's getting crowded up there now because they find out it's
- 4:31really usable not only to live in but militarily.
- 4:36But strangely enough, as left in the world today, an area as big
- 4:40as the United States that's never been seen by a human
- 4:43being. And that's beyond the pole on
- 4:47the other side of the South Pole from middle America.
- 4:51And it's, I think it's quite astonishing that there should be
- 4:56an area as big as that. Unexplored.
- 4:58That's a tremendous so. There's a lot of adventure left
- 5:01down at the bottom of the world. Admiral, do you?
- 5:02Hope to see that. I do.
- 5:05In late 1946, the United States Navy launched a mission to
- 5:08Antarctica unlike anything before or since.
- 5:11Operation High Jump, a full scale naval task force. 13
- 5:16ships, 33 aircraft, over 4700 men.
- 5:21A full carrier group with destroyer escorts, all deployed
- 5:25to the most remote and hostile continent on Earth.
- 5:29In command was a man the American public already knew
- 5:31well, Rear Admiral Richard Evelyn Bird.
- 5:35The same man who had flown over the North Pole.
- 5:38The same man who had built the first permanent US base on the
- 5:40Antarctic continent. So when the Navy wanted
- 5:43something done in the Deep South, they sent Bird.
- 5:47Officially, the mission was about testing equipment in
- 5:50extreme cold field exercises, logistics training.
- 5:56It was supposed to last six months.
- 5:58It ended in just eight weeks. No public explanation, just a
- 6:02quiet withdrawal and vague statements about weather.
- 6:06Those who were there tell a different story.
- 6:09They said one of the planes was lost under strange
- 6:11circumstances, that radio contact was broken mid flight,
- 6:15that certain logs were never entered.
- 6:18And they say Byrd himself took off on a final reconnaissance
- 6:21flight alone. February 19th.
- 6:26That's the date on a document that.
- 6:28Appeared decades later. A document with no official Navy
- 6:32stamp. No confirmation.
- 6:34But a story that refuses to die A private flight log Bird's
- 6:40alleged diary passed. Hand to hand in.
- 6:43Photocopies circulated. Among researchers, dismissed by
- 6:47many but never fully debunked. What it describes?
- 6:53Is something no US official ever admitted publicly?
- 6:57And what? It suggests is that.
- 6:59Byrd saw something no one was meant to.
- 7:01See February. 19th, 1947 Admiral.
- 7:09Richard E Byrd lifts. Off in an R4D from Little
- 7:12America. For a solo photo Recon flight,
- 7:16weather is clear. Temperature -30° Fahrenheit, 20
- 7:21minutes in the magnetic compass and.
- 7:23Gyro both drift radio. Contact drops.
- 7:27The aircraft begins a slow uncommanded turn S through a
- 7:32break in low. Cloud Bird records.
- 7:34An unexpected sight. A broad.
- 7:36Valley free of snow, green slopes and open water.
- 7:40Cockpit thermometer rises rapidly to 70°F.
- 7:45Two metallic disc shaped. Craft appear off each.
- 7:48Wing tip they match speed and guide the R. 4D toward a flat.
- 7:52Illuminated strip inside the valley.
- 7:55Engine controls respond but require no input during descent.
- 7:59After landing, bird is met by tall figures, human in outline,
- 8:04pale and calm. Communication is direct and.
- 8:09Clear without visible speech, they identify.
- 8:12Their settlement as an interpolar refuge.
- 8:15Their message is straightforward.
- 8:18Surface nation's development of nuclear weapons poses a threat
- 8:21to planetary stability. The warning must be delivered
- 8:25approximately 3 hours after touchdown.
- 8:28Bird is returned to the aircraft, Instruments read
- 8:31Normal fuel tanks show full. The escort craft depart
- 8:35vertically at high speed. Bird exits the valley through.
- 8:39Dense cloud and regains radio contact.
- 8:43He completes the flight. With no additional anomalies
- 8:46back at base camp, he drafts a. Private log of the.
- 8:49Events and files an official report that omits the incident.
- 8:53The log is. Sealed Its current location is
- 8:56unknown and in 1957, Admiral Byrd.
- 9:00Dies. His personal papers are.
- 9:02Sealed. His logs are archived.
- 9:06And the supposed diary is never seen in physical form again.
- 9:09The missing flight log of Admiral Byrd, sometimes titled
- 9:13Admiral. Byrd's secret diary or flight
- 9:16log, February. 19th, 1947. First appeared in 1990,
- 9:21Published in Timothy Green. Beckley's Global Communications.
- 9:25Which specialized in UFOs, New age and suppressed information.
- 9:30The text is presented as if it were a direct transcription of
- 9:33Byrd's private journal. Complete with dates.
- 9:36First person entries and a final emotional confession.
- 9:41This last entry I must write quietly and with great
- 9:44discretion. I now.
- 9:46Close this diary. I must state.
- 9:49Here that I have faithfully kept.
- 9:50This matter secret as. Directed all these years.
- 9:55It has been completely against my values of moral.
- 9:57Right now I seem to sense the long night coming on and this
- 10:02secret will not die with me. But as all truth shall.
- 10:07It will triumph. There is no official.
- 10:10Record of that flight. No crew logs, no mission
- 10:14debrief, only the. Diary circulated years later.
- 10:18In fringe publications and later.
- 10:21Uploaded to early. Internet forums.
- 10:24Mainstream historians. Call it a hoax.
- 10:27Operation High Jump did end months ahead of schedule with
- 10:30little explanation. Byrd did.
- 10:33Go on television years. Later.
- 10:35Warning that the United States might one day face fast moving
- 10:39threats from the polls and. There are still places.
- 10:42In Antarctica, that remain off limits even to modern.
- 10:46Researchers So where did the? Diary come from.
- 10:50Was it real? A fabrication, A distorted
- 10:54retelling of something that actually happened.
- 10:57There are no easy answers. Let me ask you, is there a great
- 11:02difference between the top of the world and the bottom of the
- 11:05world? There is now the North Pole is
- 11:09the scent of an ocean 10,000 feet deep, the South Pole the
- 11:13scent of a plateau 10,000 feet high.
- 11:17The North Pole of sea is surrounded by continents that
- 11:21are slightly frozen. The Antarctic continent is
- 11:25surrounded by a belt of ice frozen seas of at least 1200
- 11:30miles thick. Now the South is a plateau.
- 11:34It gets in some places 14,000 feet up.
- 11:38I've been over areas about 13,000 and it's a little bit
- 11:43chilly up there. Antarctica was supposed to be
- 11:52the one patch of Earth. Nobody.
- 11:53Could carve up. In 1959, a dozen nations sat
- 11:58down in Washington and signed the Antarctic Treaty, Article 1.
- 12:02Iced all military claims article.
- 12:05Two promised open science and article. 4 shoved territorial.
- 12:09Ambitions under the rug for the duration of the pact sounds
- 12:14noble until you read the fine print.
- 12:18The treaty doesn't ban soldiers only.
- 12:21Hostile activities. So every.
- 12:23Summer See 17 cargo planes stuffed with uniformed troops
- 12:27Thunder into McMurdo. For research logistics.
- 12:32The runways are built, maintained and guarded by the
- 12:34same people who run. Forward bases everywhere.
- 12:37Else on the planet peaceful. Branding military hardware
- 12:42tourists they're funneled through a.
- 12:45Single choke point system run by the International Association of
- 12:49Antarctica. Tour operators if.
- 12:52You want to set foot on the ice, you must book one of their ships
- 12:55land at their. Approved sites.
- 12:58And follow a script down to how many minutes you're allowed to
- 13:01stand near a Penguin. Step off the corridor.
- 13:04And your permit issued by your own government.
- 13:07Evaporates Above the ice lies the.
- 13:11Real curtain flight restrictions.
- 13:13No travel brochure mentions the US Air Operations Manual.
- 13:18Draws A literal wedge over the South.
- 13:19Pole NFZ Sector 2 Any aircraft, manned or unmanned, must stay
- 13:26outside that slice of sky unless on official NSF business the
- 13:31coordinates drift. With the ice sheet.
- 13:33But the rule never moves. Do not overfly the atmospheric
- 13:37lab. Why quarantine a patch of air in
- 13:41the most remote place on. Earth officials say it's to keep
- 13:45jet exhaust away. From sensitive climate
- 13:47instruments. 280 million years ago, before it
- 14:11was a frozen desert, Antarctica was part of the supercontinent
- 14:15Gondwana, connected to Africa, South America, India and
- 14:19Australia. Back then, Antarctica wasn't
- 14:22white, it was green. Ferns, forests, rivers.
- 14:27Fossils show that once conifer trees grew here, even flowering
- 14:31plants, some parts stayed temperate year round.
- 14:35Scientists have found the remains of ancient amphibians
- 14:38and even dinosaurs buried beneath the rock.
- 14:42But then came the cold. Roughly 34,000,000 years ago,
- 14:46Antarctica broke off and drifted S ocean currents shifted, The
- 14:51climate crashed, glaciers formed, ice took over.
- 14:56Now 98% of the continent is buried under a shell of ice more
- 15:00than a mile thick. That ice has secrets.
- 15:04There are places here where it hasn't snowed in 2,000,000
- 15:07years. The McMurdo Dry Valleys are so
- 15:10barren and windswept, scientists call them the closest thing to
- 15:14Mars. On Earth.
- 15:16The Blood Falls. It pours out from the mouth of a
- 15:20glacier, bright red, staining the white ice.
- 15:23For years, no one could explain it.
- 15:26People thought it was algae. Some called it rust, a leak from
- 15:30an underground system we don't understand.
- 15:32It turns out it's iron rich brine from a subglacial lake
- 15:36sealed beneath the ice for millennia, carrying microbial
- 15:39life that survives without sunlight, oxygen or heat.
- 15:44Beneath the surface of Antarctica are hundreds of lakes
- 15:47connected by underground rivers and pressurized chambers.
- 15:51Radar scans show mountains taller than the Alps buried
- 15:54under the ice. In West Antarctica, NASA found a
- 15:58growing void beneath the Thwaite's glacier, a hidden
- 16:01cavity the size of Manhattan. The ice above it is melting from
- 16:04below, and no one can explain why it's happening so fast.
- 16:08New data now shows that parts of the continent are thawing and
- 16:11turning green. Satellite images show the
- 16:14Antarctic Peninsula, the northernmost finger of the
- 16:17frozen landmass, now supporting roughly 12 square kilometers of
- 16:22mosses, lichens and algae. That's 10 times more than it was
- 16:26in 1986, and the increase has accelerated by over 30% between
- 16:312016 and 2021. From above, they look almost
- 16:47perfect. Sharp angles, 4 triangular
- 16:50faces, snow covered peaks rising from an otherwise barren sheet
- 16:54of ice. A formation in Ellsworth Land,
- 16:57not far from the Heritage Range, where three peaks rise from the
- 17:00ice in a pattern that, to the eye, looks almost geometric.
- 17:05Skeptics say they're just mountain peaks that stick
- 17:07through the ice, sculpted by millennia of glacial wind and
- 17:11erosion. Maybe.
- 17:13But if that's true, why do they appear almost identical in shape
- 17:17and proportion to the pyramids of Giza?
- 17:20And why are there three lined up along a similar axis?
- 17:25Researchers have noted right angles and symmetry and adjacent
- 17:28ridges, features rarely seen in natural mountain formations.
- 17:33They are located near Lake Union Glacier in one of the few zones
- 17:37of Antarctica that satellites have trouble penetrating with
- 17:39consistent clarity. Based on available satellite
- 17:43measurements and elevation models, the estimated size of
- 17:46the main Antarctic pyramid is staggering.
- 17:50It stands approximately 2000 meters tall, about 6600 feet,
- 17:55making it taller than Mount Kosciusko in Australia.
- 17:58It's base width is estimated between 1:00 to 2 kilometers per
- 18:01side, giving it a footprint that's 10 to 20 times larger
- 18:05than the Great Pyramid of Giza. What are the odds that erosion
- 18:08carves a structure with the same precision as the pyramids of
- 18:11Egypt? That three of them appear in a
- 18:13formation? That they're located in one of
- 18:16the least studied zones on Earth?
- 18:19Antarctica wasn't always ice. We know that it was green,
- 18:24temperate, teeming with life. If there was an ancient
- 18:29civilization here, pre flood, prehistory, pre ice, isn't this
- 18:33exactly the kind of structure they leave behind?
- 18:36Massive, immovable, geometrically coated, built to
- 18:40outlast everything? Maybe they left something
- 18:43inside? The pyramid formations sit at 79
- 18:56degrees 58 minutes 39.2 seconds S and 81 degrees 57 minutes 32.2
- 19:03seconds West in Ellsworth Land, W Antarctica between 2012 and
- 19:102000. 16 Google Earth users reported high res satellite.
- 19:14Views were being blurred, downgraded or even removed,
- 19:18especially after media attention increased.
- 19:23Rumors persist of deep underground structures beneath
- 19:26the pyramids. Either left by.
- 19:28Ancient builders or currently occupied by hidden research
- 19:32bases? In the early 1500s, in the heart
- 19:46of the Ottoman Empire, we meet Admiral Piri, Race, full name
- 19:50Ahmed Muhidan Piri, a seasoned mariner, master cartographer and
- 19:56respected Admiral in the Ottoman Navy.
- 19:59In 1513, he created something remarkable, a world map drawn on
- 20:03Gazelle's skin parchment showing parts of Europe, Africa, South
- 20:07America, and, most controversially, A mysterious
- 20:10landmass far to the South. According to his own handwritten
- 20:13notes on the map's margin, he compiled it from over 20 ancient
- 20:17charts, including maps said to date from the time of Alexander
- 20:22the Great, lost works of Arab geographers, and even a chart
- 20:27made by Columbus himself. The map would vanish from
- 20:31history for centuries, locked away in the Topkapi Palace in
- 20:35Istanbul. It wasn't until 1929, during a
- 20:39cataloguing project in the palace library, that historians
- 20:42stumbled across the artifact again, brittle, faded and only
- 20:47partially intact. But even the surviving third was
- 20:50enough to raise eyebrows around the world.
- 20:53Because that southern landmass, the one most claim is just
- 20:56artistic filler, appears to line up shockingly well with modern
- 21:00topographical scans of Queen Maude Land, Antarctica without
- 21:05the ice. In other words, the Piri Race
- 21:08map might be showing a version of Antarctica as it existed
- 21:11before it was frozen, a landscape not visible for at
- 21:15least 6000 to 12,000 years. This wasn't discovered until the
- 21:191950s, when a joint British Swedish survey team used seismic
- 21:23equipment to map the bedrock beneath Antarctica's thick
- 21:25glacial layers. To their shock, the coastline
- 21:29under the ice matched the outline from Piri Race's map.
- 21:33If this map is accurate, then someone at some point in deep
- 21:37history saw Antarctica without ice.
- 21:41How was it mapped in the distant past by a lost civilization now
- 21:46buried under snow? Were aerial observations made in
- 21:50prehistory from advanced craft or satellite like technology?
- 21:55Or were these secrets preserved and passed through forgotten
- 21:58libraries, hidden orders, or ancient survivors?
- 22:02Some believe the data came from Atlantean archives, knowledge
- 22:05salvage after a cataclysm, stored in scrolls later
- 22:10inherited by Arab scholars and eventually by Ottoman
- 22:12navigators. Others suggest it was never
- 22:15human knowledge to begin with, but left behind by non human
- 22:19intelligences like the Annunaki or the Watchers who once
- 22:22surveyed this planet from above. Piri Race never claimed to
- 22:27understand the full power of what he'd compiled.
- 22:30He simply recorded what the older maps had shown.
- 22:33Even stranger the coastline, the one matching modern seismic
- 22:38scans. It includes mountain ranges,
- 22:41inlets, even rivers, features you wouldn't know from sailing
- 22:45the icebound coast. Mainstream historians say the
- 22:49Antarctica on the map is probably just a distorted South
- 22:52American coast, that the resemblance is coincidence, that
- 22:56the ancient charts Piri Rice used were just imaginative
- 22:59renderings by early explorers. Maybe.
- 23:03But this isn't the only map that hints at ancient knowledge of
- 23:05the South. Others, like the Orontius
- 23:08Phineas map from 1531, the Boache map from 1737, and even
- 23:14earlier Ptolemaic models also show a large southern continent,
- 23:18often with features uncannily close to modern Antarctica.
- 23:22It's as if someone once knew what lay beneath the ice, long
- 23:26before we had the tools to find out if this information survived
- 23:31the fall of empires, if it passed through secret hands for
- 23:34centuries, what else might be hidden in the maps we've lost?
- 23:46What if the end of the world begins where no one lives?
- 24:00In 1938, with tensions in Europe building toward war, Nazi
- 24:05Germany launched an expedition to Antarctica.
- 24:08Its official goal? Surveying whaling territory and
- 24:12securing. Natural resources, The ship.
- 24:15Was called the Schwabenland and it was.
- 24:18Equipped with state-of-the-art aircraft.
- 24:19Capable of launching from catapults, a flying fleet that
- 24:23spent weeks mapping the frozen continent from above, the
- 24:27Germans dropped thousands of metal darts, each emblazoned
- 24:30with swastikas, into the ice. Staking claim to a region they
- 24:34named Neuschwabenland. They mapped mountain.
- 24:37Ranges photographed valleys. And then vanished.
- 24:43In the years that followed, rumors exploded.
- 24:46Rumors of a hidden Nazi base buried deep beneath the ice,
- 24:49shielded from the world and protected by more than just
- 24:53secrecy. After World War 2.
- 24:56Strange reports began leaking from the southern ice military
- 25:00pilots flying near the South Pole claimed to see.
- 25:03Silver discs. Rising from the snow, research
- 25:06stations reported unexplained radar interference, missing
- 25:09personnel and lights dancing across the glaciers with no
- 25:13known source. The sightings didn't stop in the
- 25:181950s and. 60s as the Cold War ramped up.
- 25:22Both Soviet and American teams reported objects in the sky
- 25:25behaving in ways no aircraft could replicate.
- 25:29In some cases, strange bioluminescent creatures were
- 25:32spotted moving under the. Ice too large, too fast.
- 25:36Too intelligent to explain the sightings didn't stop.
- 25:43Some researchers described massive tunnel like caverns.
- 25:46Revealed by satellite radar. Deep beneath the surface, places
- 25:50warm enough to harbor life but entirely unreachable by
- 25:54conventional means. In 2012, a Russian team drilling
- 26:00into Lake. Vostok, A subglacial lake sealed
- 26:03off for. 15,000,000 years claimed to have found microbial
- 26:07life unlike anything on earth and then abruptly stopped.
- 26:11Reporting. What is Antarctica hiding?
- 26:14A lost. Base A Buried civilization One
- 26:19of the most circulated stories comes from a man named.
- 26:22Corey Goode, who? Claims he was part of an off
- 26:25world program. He states that massive
- 26:28crystalline portal. Structures.
- 26:30Lie beneath the ice, and that Antarctica served as an ancient
- 26:34transit hub for beings from other star systems, including
- 26:38Orion. In declassified CIA materials
- 26:41and rumored offshoots of Project Looking Glass, there's reference
- 26:45to natural dimensional distortions, usually in deep.
- 26:48Isolated, high energy geological.
- 26:51Zones. Multiple documents refer to the
- 26:54South Pole as one of these high interference locations, possibly
- 26:58linked to subsurface anomalies and geomagnetic disruptions.
- 27:03Some researchers claim that data from.
- 27:05NASA's GRACE satellite. And ES as Go Sea mission
- 27:09revealed unusual gravitational anomalies under Antarctica,
- 27:13especially near Wilkes Land. Some theorize this might not
- 27:18just be a buried impact sight, but an energy.
- 27:21Vortex or collapsed wormhole possibly artificially created.
- 27:27Now dormant or damaged, the Book of Enoch describes the ends of
- 27:32the. Earth where?
- 27:34Enoch saw the gates of heaven open, and a great abyss burning
- 27:37with fire. Many.
- 27:40Researchers suggest this could. Point to polar regions remote
- 27:45viewers trained under. Project Stargate, allegedly.
- 27:48Claimed to see structures under Antarctica that flicker in and
- 27:52out of visibility, as if phasing between dimensions.
- 27:57Some say the real reason the continent is locked down by
- 27:59treaty isn't to protect Penguins.
- 28:02It's to guard a doorway. A doorway.
- 28:04To another dimension. The ancient Greeks spoke of
- 28:19Terra Australis incognita, the unknown southern land.
- 28:24They believed a massive southern continent must exist to balance
- 28:27the lands of the north. Philosophers like Ptolemy and
- 28:30Aristotle treated it as fact, but how did they know the region
- 28:35had never been mapped? Some suggest it was a holdover
- 28:38from an earlier world memory. Then there's the Hindu concept
- 28:42of Patala, an ancient subterranean realm said to exist
- 28:46beneath the southern regions of Earth.
- 28:49Patala was home to the Nagas, serpent beings of immense
- 28:52knowledge and power. In Hindu cosmology, access to
- 28:56Patala was guarded and rare. Could this be a symbolic
- 29:00reference to a hidden civilization beneath the
- 29:02Antarctic ice? And in Buddhist and Jain
- 29:05traditions, we find tales of Shambhala, a secret land hidden
- 29:10in the earth, accessible only to the pure of heart and spirit.
- 29:15While often associated with Tibet, Shambhala was also said
- 29:19to be polar, sometimes described as a land of light at the ends
- 29:23of the earth. Theosophists in the 19th century
- 29:26even speculated that Shambhala was a hidden sanctuary beneath
- 29:29Antarctica itself, the Norse myth of Genungagap, the
- 29:34primordial void of ice and fire that existed before the world
- 29:37began. According to the Eddas, life
- 29:40itself emerged from this glacial rift, a place older than the
- 29:44gods, older than time. Could Antarctica, with its
- 29:48strange geothermal anomalies and unexplainable warmth beneath the
- 29:52ice, be a real world echo of that mythic void?
- 29:58The farther back we go, the blurrier the lines become
- 30:01between myth and memory. What if these stories from Tibet
- 30:06to the Andes, from Iceland to India, are fractured
- 30:11recollections of a civilization that thrived before the earth
- 30:14shifted, before the poles froze, before the veil of ice fell?
- 30:19Some believe Antarctica could have been home to an ancient
- 30:22civilization, possibly Atlantean, Lemurian, or even pre
- 30:26Adamic. Others go further, pointing to
- 30:28texts and traditions that speak of sky gods, fallen beings or
- 30:32advanced architects who vanished beneath the sea or retreated
- 30:36underground. Scattered across the continent
- 30:39are facilities never listed on official records.
- 30:42Some show up on satellite maps, only to vanish a few weeks
- 30:45later. Others are hidden beneath the
- 30:48ice, connected by buried tunnels, sealed chambers and
- 30:51forgotten runways. Why are certain coordinates off
- 30:55limits even to governments? Why are satellites restricted
- 30:58from photographing key areas? Why are so many nations
- 31:02desperate to maintain the Antarctic Treaty even now?
- 31:06And what exactly is being hidden beneath the oldest ice on Earth?
- 31:09Were the Nazis simply chasing myths, or did they find
- 31:13something real? Is there truly an entrance to a
- 31:16hollow earth, a lost world buried in time?
- 31:20Were the Anunnaki here before the ice?
- 31:22Before the flood? Did they leave something behind?
- 31:27And why, after all this time, is Antarctica still off limits?
- 31:33Is it because of the weather or because of what's down there?
- 31:37Ancient ruins? Pre human civilizations, portals
- 31:41to another world? And if something is still
- 31:44watching, what happens when we finally dig too deep?
- 32:42The. The.
- 34:08The. None.
