  Speaker 1: It is time for us to go to God in prayer,

  Speaker 1: and as always I ask that you join along with

  Speaker 1: me in prayer. You know, I was somewhere recently and

  Speaker 1: somewhat jokingly said about restaurants that the worst patrons for
• 0:19
  Speaker 1: a restaurant are the Saints, the Christians, and everybody kind
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: of laughed about it, but for me, it was just
• 0:27
  Speaker 1: kind of ouch. It wasn't funny to me. It really wasn't.

  Speaker 1: It was a comedian telling the story, and I thought, Wow,
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: what a sad indictment on the church as we're supposed
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: to be representatives of Christ today. As we get ready
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: to pray. Do the people on your job know you're safe?
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: Do the people in your household want to know the
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: Jesus that you know? Heavenly Father, we come before you
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: with humble hearts, God, thanking you for the gift of
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: life and the opportunities God that you give us. And
• 1:00
  Speaker 1: every day, Lord, we desire to represent you well, not
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: only in our church, God, but in our home, in
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: our workplace, and everywhere that we go. When people see us,
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: we want them to see You. We want them to
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: see that there's something different about us. They want We
• 1:18
  Speaker 1: want them to see your light shining in us. Help us, God,
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: to be light in darkness, a reflection of your love,
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: your grace, and your truth. God. Let our words be
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: kind and seasoned with wisdom. Let our actions speak of integrity, compassion,
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: and humility, whether we're at work, whether we're at the
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: dinner table or in a casual conversation. God, let us
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: bring honor to your name, God our hearts. God against frustration,
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: against pride, against negativity. Fill us with patience when we're tested,
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: strength God when we're we and love when we're challenged.

  Speaker 1: Let us serve others with joy, working diligently as if
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: unto you, and treat everyone with respect and kindness, the
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: same kindness God and respect that you've shown to us. Lord,
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: help us to be consistent in our faith, not just
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: in moments of worship, but in the everyday routines of life.

  Speaker 1: Let our character reflect the fruit of the Spirit and God.
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: Let those around us see You through our lives. Forgive
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: us God for the times that we've miss represented you.
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: Thank you for your grace and for equipping us to
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: be ambassadors of Christ and all that we do. God,
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: we surrender this day to You and ask that you lead,
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: and you guide us in your ways in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen,
