- 1:21Speaker 1: Work experience, man, that's a very concident. Yeah, did they

- 1:28Speaker 2: Didn't ask me?
- 1:29Speaker 1: No, didn't ask me.
- 1:30Speaker 3: It was nothing against you, Alex. Yeah, I know it's
- 1:33Speaker 3: against Pugs and Keesy who obviously knew about it.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Smokie. You know what it is when scenarios of oh,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I want to be liked by the young people, so
- 1:44Speaker 1: I'll be like cool hip dude that helps him all out.
- 1:50Speaker 1: McDonald and comes and McDonalds and tries to me or
- 1:52Speaker 1: hip with the young fellas.
- 1:55Speaker 2: And then this is very specific.
- 1:58Speaker 1: And they do show up old hoy j and Magi
- 2:01Speaker 1: is these old grumpy fucks.
- 2:03Speaker 4: First of all, we don't do on you, all right,
- 2:05Speaker 4: that's great. And secondly, yes, I want the young people
- 2:08Speaker 4: to like me. Jason's that's so much of a crime. Yes,
- 2:10Speaker 4: all right, So I took the time to ask Alex's name,
- 2:13Speaker 4: ask what he was here for, all right, which you obviously.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Didn't do well. He was annoying me. Good day, though, Jasaw,
- 2:20Speaker 2: you had her of a mood again.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Um, yeah, good day and then an annoying day, and
- 2:26Speaker 1: then a good day and an annoying day, just a
- 2:29Speaker 1: standard days of the day. But you haven't seen me
- 2:34Speaker 1: in the good parts of the day, so you know.
- 2:36Speaker 1: But I don't really mind young people.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Hey, CAZy, you came in here scoffing down some mcdee's brother.
- 2:43Speaker 2: What's going on? Fucking ram in your face like grimace
- 2:47Speaker 2: you were? I was not just eating it like a
- 2:48Speaker 2: standard person eating a McDonald's burger burgers. Oh in that case,
- 2:53Speaker 2: yes I was.
- 2:54Speaker 4: We filmed Game of Two Halves and so every Tuesday
- 2:58Speaker 4: I drive home, I drive to work while trying to
- 2:59Speaker 4: eat a burger right, And today I was like, you
- 3:01Speaker 4: know what, I'm just gonna eat this one at work
- 3:03Speaker 4: because it's got letters and it falls out.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Sure, so I ate the quarter pound, but it was
- 3:06Speaker 2: it didn't look like a chicken. Looks smaller than that. No,
- 3:11Speaker 2: that's how small they are really. Yeah, wow, I feel
- 3:13Speaker 2: like they are getting smaller, very small. I thought it
- 3:15Speaker 2: was a katy one or something. It was a full
- 3:17Speaker 2: blown adult one. Wow.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But you have noticed about Keyses, he's got massively disportionate hands.
- 3:25Speaker 2: The massive, huge hands thank you. Take that one.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I've got big feet. Keezy's got huge hands.
- 3:33Speaker 4: I do reasonably big hands. Apparently I've got weirdly long arms.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Do you genuinely like apparently I've got a bit of
- 3:39Speaker 4: a like a weird gorilla.
- 3:41Speaker 3: You look like there's something wrong with you when you're walking, Mike, Mike,
- 3:45Speaker 3: that's not true.
- 3:46Speaker 2: That's not true. That's who I am, regardless, and we
- 3:51Speaker 2: accept you for the whole Archy Big Show week days
- 3:55Speaker 2: from four on Radio Hiarchy The Big Show Podcast. How
- 4:00Speaker 2: good is the weather? It's okay?
- 4:03Speaker 1: It got a bit cool at times today.
- 4:06Speaker 4: This afternoon, I was eating free McDonald's, driving him a
- 4:08Speaker 4: trucky window down, listening to Tom Petty, and I was like,
- 4:14Speaker 4: life is so good because it's such a beautiful day,
- 4:17Speaker 4: and aword.
- 4:18Speaker 2: That is lovely.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You know, it is great that it's spring. And I
- 4:21Speaker 1: did my lawns again over the weekend and two weekends
- 4:23Speaker 1: in her own Now she's finally drying out forels. Oh,
- 4:27Speaker 1: took my weed eater into.
- 4:29Speaker 2: The lady to fix it up. He was enough dude.
- 4:34Speaker 1: He was a classic dude, because I can't do my
- 4:37Speaker 1: lawns properly without my weedi and it's just not working anymore.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And I took it in and it was this young
- 4:43Speaker 1: dude who just sort of loped out of the office
- 4:47Speaker 1: the end. There's ship everywhere and a long sort of
- 4:50Speaker 1: knotted hair and looked a bit of a shambles, to
- 4:53Speaker 1: be honest, he.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Had disproportionately long arms. Yeah, he hands on.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And I said, oh, listen, mate, my weed it is.
- 5:00Speaker 1: She's pretty fucked. It takes me ages say that.
- 5:05Speaker 3: It's a risky thing for you to say, well when
- 5:07Speaker 3: you know that it could very well be such a
- 5:09Speaker 3: simple fix.
- 5:09Speaker 1: And probably was no, because I know that there's something
- 5:12Speaker 1: wrong with that. And whenever I do start it up,
- 5:15Speaker 1: it lasts about two minutes and then it dies and
- 5:17Speaker 1: then yes, and then it won't and then it won't
- 5:21Speaker 1: start up again. And anyway, I took it in and
- 5:24Speaker 1: he said, ah, Rayobi sh no, it's not plastic, it's metal.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And he went a yeah, no, they're exclusive to Bunnings,
- 5:36Speaker 1: so they're fucking bastard for parts, right, And he said,
- 5:39Speaker 1: by the sounds of it, it sounds like your carburetor.
- 5:44Speaker 2: All the ship.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, And he said it's going to cost you more
- 5:48Speaker 1: than you paid for it to fix it.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Up so and a like replace the car. But he
- 5:53Speaker 2: said that they just don't have the parts.
- 5:55Speaker 1: They don't have the parts exactly because it's all through
- 5:58Speaker 1: Bunnings and ship like that, and they can't get them.
- 6:00Speaker 1: And it's a pain in the ass. So we're not great,
- 6:03Speaker 1: thanks man. So I've got to buy a new one.
- 6:06Speaker 1: And he also said to me the classic sort of yeah,
- 6:08Speaker 1: with these ones here, once they go, they're pretty facked.
- 6:12Speaker 2: That's modern modern consumer.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, good, isn't it.
- 6:15Speaker 2: They just about that the other day.
- 6:17Speaker 3: And how back in the day used to get a
- 6:18Speaker 3: TV repair man to come over my granddads.
- 6:22Speaker 4: That's how he put all the kids through school. And
- 6:24Speaker 4: people shouldn't it. Yeah, he used to fix toasters, fridge
- 6:27Speaker 4: and he had old bits. They had a big ship
- 6:28Speaker 4: full of old bits of everything, and he knew everything worked.
- 6:31Speaker 4: And now you just biffit well with He used to
- 6:34Speaker 4: share the old ladies locally, Yeah.
- 6:41Speaker 1: He did.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right.
- 6:44Speaker 1: My god, is the soul grandparents take easy? Yeah, yeah,
- 6:52Speaker 1: it's not get.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Can't Yeah, we're not to say that was that six
- 6:58Speaker 4: minutes forty five second mark, pugs, But.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Just on that, you know, in terms of waste. And
- 7:05Speaker 1: I was talking to the spark yesterday's working on the
- 7:07Speaker 1: bathroom man.
- 7:08Speaker 3: He's just leaning against the wall where you're having a
- 7:10Speaker 3: coffee while he was working away.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah, totally. And he said you want to keep this
- 7:16Speaker 1: light switch? And I said, yeah, why not? And he said, oh, good,
- 7:21Speaker 1: good because everyone just you know, you do a job
- 7:23Speaker 1: like this, Eon just wraps everything out and actually and
- 7:26Speaker 1: puts new shit everywhere. And actually you don't need to
- 7:28Speaker 1: do that. The offer, well, he said he could put
- 7:31Speaker 1: a new switch on there.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Usually they convince you to do it because they put
- 7:34Speaker 4: a markup on and supply the part. Yes, so my house,
- 7:37Speaker 4: which I've renovated, has got all the original lights, switches
- 7:39Speaker 4: and stuff in it.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah, thats ugly.
- 7:41Speaker 1: And I tell you what, actually, it is quite fascinating.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Talking to trade is about, you know, things like insurance
- 7:50Speaker 1: and ship like that. When trades are working on insurance
- 7:52Speaker 1: jobs and they just they wrapped the ship out of
- 7:55Speaker 1: the prices and douched them out massively.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Because it's the opposite. I'm pretty sure because my dad
- 8:01Speaker 4: used to be a panel beater, and insurance job they
- 8:04Speaker 4: hate because they'd say it's the insurance will say, here's
- 8:07Speaker 4: you've done four grand damage. To fix the car and
- 8:10Speaker 4: then find someone that will do it for four thousand
- 8:12Speaker 4: dollars when actually it'll probably cost about six And so
- 8:15Speaker 4: they hate insurance jobs.
- 8:17Speaker 3: But don't they can't the insurance company can't make that assessment.
- 8:20Speaker 3: They send it out to panel Bay, yeah, to do
- 8:22Speaker 3: quotes and stuff. But I can't remember what it was
- 8:23Speaker 3: they were saying. They're like competing against one another, and
- 8:25Speaker 3: eventually they brought the price of it down and people
- 8:28Speaker 3: prefer to not Yeah, well, my body.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I was talking about all these new builds and shit
- 8:31Speaker 1: like more particularly you know those apartments and shit that
- 8:35Speaker 1: got water damage. What was that called the buildings, and
- 8:41Speaker 1: you know, so many insurance claims and tradees were just
- 8:43Speaker 1: going yeah, no, she's going to be woh, mate, you're
- 8:47Speaker 1: looking at twenty k there at least, And people and
- 8:51Speaker 1: the insurance companies were going all right, But apparently now
- 8:54Speaker 1: they're going, no, no, we're not just paying shit out now,
- 8:56Speaker 1: we want more facts and figures.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Yeah, because you live in a leaky home, mate, No,
- 9:01Speaker 4: not anymore? Did you actually at one point No, we had.
- 9:04Speaker 1: A little lounge that leaked for a while. But once
- 9:06Speaker 1: we've got the roof done, she's been tickety ber just
- 9:08Speaker 1: covered up with duck shit. Yes, just covered in duck poos.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And we've got about twenty possum and the and the
- 9:15Speaker 1: roof there, so they got that peg under yeah, and
- 9:18Speaker 1: they just soak up all the moisture.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Did you have a Kimodo dragon and your laundry singer?
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Kimodo the.
- 9:27Speaker 2: You're good? Yeah, I'm all good. How are you just
- 9:31Speaker 2: a shell of a human over there?
- 9:33Speaker 3: No?
- 9:33Speaker 2: No, I'm pretty good. Ok Yeah.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Looking forward to our golf tomorrow, Keezy.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Yeah I am.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Actually I'm a bit guarded. We're only playing nine, but
- 9:45Speaker 4: I might still play eighteen anyway.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Bought some new golf shoes today, making oh chross, did you.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I do need them?
- 9:55Speaker 1: Terrible sneak is slipping all over the place. I'll talk
- 9:58Speaker 1: about that a little bit later on, actually.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Because I do notice you move your foot when you
- 10:01Speaker 2: hit the ball quite a bit. Yeah, slides. Yeah, it's
- 10:05Speaker 2: because of all the talk you're generating through your hips.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Yeah that's true.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I've got a massive thrust.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I've got a wicked thrust.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I have.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I used to call me thrusty Hoody, really thrusty jug
- 10:22Speaker 1: of that just my mates in there. Oh yeah, yeah, Brendan,
- 10:26Speaker 1: I've got more than more than one mate. Keys.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Yeah, because it wasn't called hoodie J back in the day.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Of course, it's always a telltale sign.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Hey it was Bosom Thrust, Yeah it was. I listened
- 10:43Speaker 2: to the Hurd. You've been show full seven every single weekday.
- 10:46Speaker 2: It is just so great. All right, it's really good.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It's not ready Hurd
