- 0:02Hello, welcome to He's hot, but some things are OK.
- 0:09It's been a long road to get here.
- 0:11I like to say I'm more excited for today's episode, which I've
- 0:17hyped up on my YouTube and my Instagram.
- 0:22Usually I just put an episode out on Thursdays because for the
- 0:25five of you dot listen, you know that it comes out on Thursdays
- 0:30because it's been coming out on a Thursday for you know what,
- 0:35it's been nearly three years. I don't know how many episodes
- 0:38we're up until, but it's like it's, it's over 2 years that
- 0:42I've done this, I think. But this one is a little
- 0:47special, not just because it's coming out on a Friday.
- 0:50And I say that I wish I was a little more excited for this
- 0:53because I've been working at this for 2 1/2 years now.
- 0:56I've been working on this since before I started this podcast.
- 1:01This podcast has been over 2 years and the only reason I'm
- 1:05not at this very moment not feeling a little more excited is
- 1:10just because how tired I am. So the big announcement is
- 1:16today, on Friday, my new skin care brand called Magnet has
- 1:23launched. Today is the launch day and it's
- 1:27been a very long time in the making and actually long time
- 1:31followers, if you've been listening to the podcast like
- 1:37for at least like a year, year and a half, it was about a year
- 1:41ago, It was almost exactly a year ago that I tried to launch
- 1:47the skin care brand. And what I will say is I've
- 1:54learned a lot of lessons and I still continue to learn a lot of
- 1:57lessons in terms of just running a business.
- 2:01And definitely marketing is not my Forte in the sense that I
- 2:06don't think I have a very natural neck for it.
- 2:12And I don't really have that skill set.
- 2:15Not that I'm not willing to invest in the marketing, but I'm
- 2:18learning a lot. However, for this launch, the
- 2:22proper launch I like to call it, and that's more accurate.
- 2:26I do have a marketing agency that I'm working with to make
- 2:31sure that, you know, we're going to launch properly this time.
- 2:34So it, it's been a long road. It's been 2 1/2 years.
- 2:38And in in this episode, beyond just announcing it so that you
- 2:43all have access to it, I wanted to talk a little bit about, you
- 2:48know, just like, why am I doing this?
- 2:51Because it's something that now that it's out there, it's going
- 2:54to be all marketed and advertising all of that.
- 2:57But for those of you that listen to this podcast, you don't know
- 3:01me as a business owner. You very likely do not know me
- 3:06as a skin care expert or enthusiast in any way.
- 3:13You know, I've got a lot of things that I'm into that I
- 3:15don't talk about on the podcast. You know, the one time I talked
- 3:19about Formula One on this podcast, one of you had the
- 3:23nerve to come up to my comment section and complain that I was
- 3:29talk about Formula One. I'm just going to remind all of
- 3:32you, whether you've been here 100 times or this is the first
- 3:37time you're listening, this podcast is my personal podcast
- 3:40where I talk about whatever I want.
- 3:43And also by the way, if you don't want to listen, you can
- 3:45just go listen to something else.
- 3:46You know, I'm very much for if you don't want to consume
- 3:51something, don't consume it, whether that's media or food,
- 3:57pick your choice. But anyways, yeah, I'm, so, I
- 4:01mean, I'm, I'm excited, I'm happy, but just right this
- 4:05moment, I'm recording this on Thursday night.
- 4:07So technically as I'm recording this, it we're a few hours,
- 4:12we're X hours away from the launch.
- 4:14And it should be that once it's launched, I should have a little
- 4:19bit more of excitement, but also a bit of a feeling of relief in
- 4:26the sense that, you know, I've been working so hard to get the
- 4:31baby out the door. I don't know, that's actually a
- 4:34good saying. Get the get the baby out, not
- 4:36out the door. Just anyways, it's been my baby
- 4:39for a long time. And for it to like see the light
- 4:42of the world, it's, it's very exciting, but it's also like, I
- 4:45also need a breather because this shit is hard work.
- 4:50So let me rewind. I told this story like I've told
- 4:54this story like once or twice, but it's it's been a while.
- 4:57So for those of you that are newer listeners, I just want to
- 5:00rewind it back to, you know, this goes all the way back to
- 5:042022. So this goes back at least three
- 5:09years ago. And my old career was ITI did
- 5:16corporate IT for tech companies, for several tech companies.
- 5:22And up until 2022, that's what I was doing.
- 5:26I was doing the 9:00 to 5:00. I was working from home here in
- 5:29Los Angeles, and I was working for a tech companies.
- 5:32I was getting paid a pretty decent amount.
- 5:35I climbed my way up that corporate ladder, you know,
- 5:41being like a junior IT tech support person early on, over
- 5:46many, many years, I was director of corporate IT.
- 5:51You know, that progression in it's in and of itself is, it's
- 5:55nice, but it's not surprising. A lot of people climb the
- 5:58corporate ladder over X number of years.
- 6:01And eventually I took a new job in the summer of 2022.
- 6:11And I kind of took the job, not for the best reasons.
- 6:15We won't unpack all of that now, but basically I was working with
- 6:18a company. It was like going pretty well,
- 6:20going pretty decent, you know, couple minor things here and
- 6:23there on the grand scheme of things.
- 6:25But there was a nicer, newer, fancier job of a fancier title
- 6:29with a ton more money. I mean, a lot of people tend to
- 6:32switch jobs because of the title and the money, right?
- 6:36Like you're moving up, you know, that's what climbing the
- 6:38corporate ladder is, right? No, you're like a junior manager
- 6:41and you're then you're senior manager, then you're like a
- 6:42director, then you're like AVP or, you know, you guys kind of,
- 6:46sort of know what it is. So I switched companies and I
- 6:49took this job and I was not happy working there.
- 6:56And I only was there for six months.
- 6:58So I remember in December, so a few weeks before Christmas in
- 7:022022. And I've been, I've been wanting
- 7:07to quit for a few months. By that time, like October,
- 7:13November, I want to be, I was every day I was thinking waking
- 7:16up like when can I quit this job?
- 7:17When can I quit this job? So in December I, I put in my
- 7:22notice and I quit. So I worked up until the holiday
- 7:26break that December and I had never quit a job without having
- 7:33a different job lined up in my full time adult career.
- 7:40It's never happened. The only other time where I quit
- 7:42a job and I didn't have a different job lined up was when
- 7:46I was 17 and I had a part time job during the senior year of
- 7:52high school. And then eventually it was a
- 7:55seasonal thing for like their for the holiday time because
- 7:57they needed extra help. It's a it's a bookstore, so any
- 8:01kind of retail, they hire seasonal staff over the holidays
- 8:04because you know, that's you get a holiday rush to get more
- 8:06people buying stuff. And it was supposed to be
- 8:08temporary. The position was supposed to be
- 8:11seasonal until January until right after the holidays.
- 8:13But then they offered to keep me on, but they liked me so much or
- 8:18whatever. But then I quit that job because
- 8:20I was like, OK, I need to make sure I get into college, get
- 8:24into university. And I decided the best thing to
- 8:28do was like not have the part time job because I didn't really
- 8:32need the money and but it was important for me to get into
- 8:35college. So and I got into college.
- 8:38So there you go. Anyways, that was the last time
- 8:40I actually quit a job without having some of the job lined up
- 8:43like when I was in high school. That's a long time ago.
- 8:46So anyways, 2022 didn't like the job was hating it, quit it.
- 8:52And I just, the thinking was, OK, let's just travel or just
- 8:58take some time off. I was kind of burnt out and I
- 9:03didn't like my job. And I was like, OK, let's just
- 9:05take a breather. You know, I've been working
- 9:08non-stop all these years for so long, like, and the job market
- 9:13was really hot in 2022. It's really, really hot in 2021.
- 9:17It was red hot in 2022. Like I was getting job offers
- 9:21when I wasn't even searching for a job back in 2022.
- 9:25It was like kind of crazy. It's very different than the
- 9:27market we have now. So I quit my job the beginning
- 9:30of 2023. For like the first few months, I
- 9:34didn't do anything. I guess there were a couple of
- 9:38cruises that I took. So I took a couple of trips just
- 9:41like relax and just enjoy having some time off from just like
- 9:46working. And it was April in 2023 that I
- 9:50thought, OK, you know, I had a few months off.
- 9:54We should probably eventually just ease back into the job
- 9:58market. You know, I'm not in a, I'm not
- 10:00in a huge rush. I've got some money, I've got
- 10:01some savings. But the original plan was I was
- 10:05just going to take a break and just go find a different company
- 10:08to work for. But the main thing was that it
- 10:10wasn't because I didn't want to work.
- 10:12It was I didn't want to work at that company in that position.
- 10:16It just wasn't a good move. So it was like April, May.
- 10:18I was thinking, OK, we'll slowly do our resume.
- 10:21We can afford to take a bit of our time to look for another
- 10:23job. But while we're doing that, we
- 10:25have all this like extra free time.
- 10:27And I was thinking, well, if I ever wanted to try out some job
- 10:35that I would never try because of working full time, this would
- 10:39be the best time for if there's some sort of other interests,
- 10:41some other business interests or some sort of other industry.
- 10:46I was curious about, you know, because I do have this extra
- 10:49time while I was looking for a full time job, I was like, what
- 10:51this would be like the perfect time to like see what's out
- 10:52there. And that's kind of where I got
- 10:56the idea of let's look at things that I like and am passionate
- 11:01about. Is there something we can do
- 11:03with that? So that's how having my own skin
- 11:07care brand kind of came in. That's where I idea came in.
- 11:11And it was like that spring that the company was formed.
- 11:17And you know what, for a lot of the initial work for like the
- 11:24first, the work that I had to do for the first year or so, I was
- 11:29like, this is this is kind of easy.
- 11:32And it doesn't seem to be that hard.
- 11:34A lot of it's like back off as a miniature to self, which I
- 11:36weirdly like. So I spent about a year doing
- 11:39that and I think I was able to get it off the ground because,
- 11:44you know, when we hit 2023, the job market had kind of taken a
- 11:48dive South. So I was kind of sort of looking
- 11:52for a job. I mean, I was looking for a job,
- 11:55but I wasn't expecting the market to be to have cooled off
- 12:01as quickly as it did compared to like just, you know, nine months
- 12:06ago when it was like red hot. But at least for me anyways, in
- 12:09the IT world, it did cool a lot. And suffice it to say, I wasn't
- 12:14successful getting any sort of getting back into IT.
- 12:18And you know, we're about to get into 2026, so I'm coming up to
- 12:22three years of not having that full time employment.
- 12:26So, you know, instead I've decided to just do my own thing.
- 12:32And, you know, one of the things was the skin care business.
- 12:36And yeah, basically that's kind of how the idea of it started
- 12:40was I just had a chance when I didn't have the nine of five
- 12:45anymore to really sit down and think about, you know, if I
- 12:51could do anything in the world, if I could do anything in the
- 12:56world as a career, what are the things I would like to do?
- 12:59What are the things I would love?
- 13:01Like, how can I mix my passion with business?
- 13:04And this was one of those things, and some of you that
- 13:08have been listening to the podcast, I'm also know that I've
- 13:11started another business, which is being a travel advisor with
- 13:14just Joey Travels. And that's much more recent.
- 13:18But that's also where, hey, I want to blend things that I'm
- 13:22passionate about and make a business out of it.
- 13:26So these are like the two main businesses.
- 13:33Well, actually have three businesses.
- 13:34Honestly, based of the only fans, I'm like, trust me, the
- 13:37only fans is a real business. It's not going to last forever,
- 13:39but it's, it's, it's paying the bills right now.
- 13:42So you know, these are like all the businesses that I am
- 13:46running. And it's so weird to think that
- 13:50if in 2022 you told me that, hey, Joey, in three years you're
- 13:56going to be running three separate businesses.
- 13:58You're going to be, you're going to have a skin care company,
- 14:01you're going to be a travel advisor and you're going to be,
- 14:03you're going to be doing porn. Actually, by that time I was
- 14:06already doing Only Fans by then, but it was really literally just
- 14:09for shifts and giggles on the side.
- 14:12Literally back in 2022, it was like it was very, very early on
- 14:16and with like 5 followers or something and it was, I was just
- 14:21literally doing a fun it. That business has evolved a lot
- 14:26since it's pulling in a lot more revenue compared to three or
- 14:29four years ago. Yeah, you told me that I'd be
- 14:32like, OK, that's crazy. But you know, through all my
- 14:35whole life, pick any point in my life honestly to date.
- 14:42And if at any point in my life, like for example, if you if when
- 14:47I was when I was 21, OK, let's say I was 21, I still in
- 14:50college. And if I told my 21 year old
- 14:53self what my life would be like three years later when I was 25,
- 14:59and that was when I got the job offer from Google and moved to
- 15:02California, I'd be like, there's that's like, that's no way that
- 15:06would happen 'cause that that's so crazy, right?
- 15:10That's such a crazy kind of like a thing to happen.
- 15:13You know, I remember when I first started at Google, they
- 15:17like to this is the kool-aid, OK?
- 15:20Tech companies spray a lot of Kool-aid onto it's employees
- 15:25trust and belief. They used to like saying to at
- 15:30orientation, new employee orientation at Google, at least
- 15:33back then. They like to say, you know, the
- 15:36odds of getting into Harvard is like one in whatever.
- 15:41And then the odds of getting into Google is like one in like
- 15:46way more than that. Like they're basically saying
- 15:49it's actually a lot harder to get into Google than to get into
- 15:52Harvard. Congratulations.
- 15:55I think the way they delivered that is not the way I delivered
- 15:58it. It didn't sound so high and
- 16:01mighty, I guess. Yeah.
- 16:04At any point in my life, you can pay any point in my life.
- 16:06And if you literally told me 03 years later this was what your
- 16:10life would be like or this is what you'd be doing, I, I would
- 16:12pretty much almost always tell you, I can't imagine that
- 16:15happening. So that's why sometimes when
- 16:18people say, oh, where do you see yourself in like X years?
- 16:21I'm like, I, I have no idea and it's absolutely useless to try.
- 16:28So I have no idea what's going to happen in three years.
- 16:31I I really don't know. Will these businesses still be
- 16:34running? Maybe yes, maybe no.
- 16:36I'm just going to roll with the punches.
- 16:38But yeah, it's been a lot of work the last 2 1/2 years.
- 16:44Like I said, the first year of running the business, I was just
- 16:47kind of doing things at my own pace and it was just figuring
- 16:51out the various parts of going into building a skin care
- 16:56company. Part of it's just like building
- 16:58a company. Generally part of it is like the
- 17:00skin care part. But you know, looking back at it
- 17:03now, now that I've talked about it a little bit, I am getting
- 17:05excited because, you know, I have actual products that people
- 17:12can buy that I've designed. And, you know, like every little
- 17:18detail you look on like the website or like the Instagram or
- 17:22in our marketing or in like the actual product or like the box,
- 17:26you know, for example, the boxes have little sayings of them that
- 17:29I wrote the design of the box. I designed that myself, like the
- 17:34design of the graphics and the bottles.
- 17:35I designed it myself. All the colors that are like
- 17:39their brand colors. I, I, I did that it, it was just
- 17:42me. It's a one person company, which
- 17:45now that I think about it, sometimes I have to take a step
- 17:47back. You know, when it is a lot of
- 17:50work to get to this point and some days are tougher than
- 17:53others. Some days it's like, Oh my God,
- 17:55it's like so much work I have to do.
- 17:56I have a million things to do. One of the things I've learned
- 18:00is the amount of self motivation you need to have to start and
- 18:08run your own company. It's staggering.
- 18:13It's staggering. Like for 2 1/2 years I've had to
- 18:18basically keep the faith that like this is going to work out.
- 18:21I mean, I still have to do that now.
- 18:22Just because you quote UN quote, have launched the company,
- 18:26someone can pay you money for a product or a service, doesn't
- 18:29mean it's success. It's successful.
- 18:32So the, the launch is a big milestone and I'm excited for
- 18:36it. But yeah, it, it's just, I've
- 18:38learned so much just even up to this point and I'm sure I'm
- 18:42going to learn so much more, but I am excited.
- 18:47I've keep part of it is you have to keep telling yourself certain
- 18:50things to cheer yourself up. You know, I, I, I want to get a
- 18:55dog. This sounds like it's neither
- 18:57here nor there, but like if over the last 2 1/2 years I had a
- 19:00dog, I think that would have really helped my morale just on
- 19:04a day-to-day basis. It's I really have this
- 19:09upbringing where my parents just taught me like just the whatever
- 19:15is the most reliable way to get a paycheck.
- 19:20You do that and you never shake or rock that boat.
- 19:24It's a very traditional Chinese upbringing with my parents.
- 19:31And you know, I, my, I've two siblings, my brother and my
- 19:35sister. They're both older.
- 19:36They are definitely doing that. And I was for a long time too.
- 19:39For many, many years. I was like, OK, go to an office
- 19:439:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mondays through Fridays, get a paycheck.
- 19:47And that's exactly what my parents wanted.
- 19:49My parents don't want any of the kids to like, oh, go invest a
- 19:54ton of your money into a brand new business.
- 19:57My dad was entrepreneur, but I think my dad would because you
- 20:01know, the, the Chinese parents thing to say is like just just
- 20:06find a a big reliable company, get a job and just have a decent
- 20:11paycheck and just ride it out for the rest of your life
- 20:15because the stability is really the key thing.
- 20:18My opinion, the parents, the Chinese parents don't care if
- 20:21you made a lot of money as long as you made like enough.
- 20:25You know, being rich is not like being rich is not the point.
- 20:28The point is just to like survive, you know, and the, and
- 20:31the best way to survive is not to gain risks, just a reliable
- 20:37paycheck for as long as possible.
- 20:39And a big company is usually more reliable than a small
- 20:42company or running your own company, right?
- 20:45And you know, sometimes it's risky to go for like the big
- 20:47payout. So like some sort of like entry
- 20:50level, not like entry level, but like very like, you know,
- 20:54run-of-the-mill type of a job. You know, there's no aspirations
- 20:58to shake a rock the boat to like climb up the ladder and make
- 21:02more money. Just like, as as long as like
- 21:04you know, you, you can, you, you are, you're sustaining yourself.
- 21:10Just do that. So the upbringing was very much
- 21:14that type of attitude. But I definitely, I'm definitely
- 21:18like the, the black sheep of the family kind.
- 21:21I don't know if that's the most appropriate thing to say, but
- 21:24you know, I'm, I'm the only one that like moved to a different
- 21:26country. My family's in Canada.
- 21:28I'm the one that had to like move to the US out of college.
- 21:33Besides, I, I, I got a job and you know, I, I got, I'm the only
- 21:36one in the family to get, you know, to work for like a, a big
- 21:41fancy company like Google. And it's so it's so weird.
- 21:47My family doesn't listen to, it's so weird because at one
- 21:49point I'm, I was pretty sure I was making maybe more than my
- 21:53brother and my sister combined. But you know, the other thing I
- 21:56want to say about that is it's great to have.
- 21:59I do wish I had more income, cash flow.
- 22:02But you know, when you're starting a business, sometimes,
- 22:07especially something like a skin care business that's like a
- 22:09little bit capital intensive, you know, you need to pay to
- 22:14like develop the formulas. You need to pay for that to be
- 22:18produced in the lab. You need to pay for all of that
- 22:22inventory. You need to pay for all the
- 22:24logistics and the storage and you know, all that stuff upfront
- 22:28before you turn even a penny revenue.
- 22:32So it you got to basically manufacture all that stuff and
- 22:36that costs a lot of money. So, you know, because of that, I
- 22:42think I am privileged that I was in a situation where I had
- 22:48enough capital to be able to do that and still just pay for the
- 23:00bills just out of my assets. You know, over the years, I, you
- 23:08know, while I was making decent money, one of the one of the
- 23:10best moves I've ever made was putting money away and investing
- 23:13it. So I have investments out of a
- 23:15portfolio. So I feel like I was in in a
- 23:19fortunate enough situation to be able to like take a chunk of
- 23:23money out of it to start up a business that's kind of capital
- 23:28intensive at the same time, still be able to just like pay
- 23:34my mortgage and put food on the table and do that, you know, I
- 23:37have it to I I did cut back on a lot of like non essential things
- 23:44like Amazon prime. OK, that's like what, 100
- 23:47something bucks a year that had to go.
- 23:50And there was never like a dining out person really.
- 23:53So, but it was like extra not dining out.
- 23:56I stopped buying organic foods. So it's not that I'm broke, you
- 24:00know, there's money in the peripheral, there's money in the
- 24:02bank, there's there's money in various investments.
- 24:05But it was very much like, OK, the cash flow is negative, OK,
- 24:09Only fans does bring in money, but doesn't bring in that much
- 24:12money. I'm not that much of A porn
- 24:13star, OK. And all the all the while I'm
- 24:16spending money on the skin care business because you have to
- 24:18invest in the business to get it started.
- 24:21So it's a long road to get here in, in many, in many different
- 24:26ways. Financially is one of them.
- 24:28But yeah, I'm really looking forward to taking her break next
- 24:31week. I'm really looking forward to
- 24:32taking a little bit, little bit of a breather next week and next
- 24:35week's Thanksgiving. And I feel like I have a lot to
- 24:38be thankful for. And sometimes you know, you're,
- 24:43you're, you're driving down the road of life and you never stop
- 24:47to smell the flowers or appreciate what you have because
- 24:53you're, we're always so busy just like go, go, go in today's
- 24:57world. So next week I think I have the
- 25:03chance to step back a little bit from work because literally
- 25:08every day it's like there are no weekends and there are no, like
- 25:10there's no like it's, it's just crazy.
- 25:13The amount I've been working on is I've never worked as hard.
- 25:16I never worked as hard to any of my jobs.
- 25:18Those 95 jobs, honestly, relatively, they're all pretty
- 25:21cushy. Some days I can't remember why I
- 25:24quit those cushy jobs with the big paychecks.
- 25:26But anyways, yeah, next week I'm going to take a little bit of a
- 25:29breathe air after the launch and I get to be, I get to do the
- 25:33Thanksgiving thing where you know what, I'm just going to
- 25:37take a moment and just pause a little bit and just think about
- 25:42all the things that are good in my life and all the things that
- 25:46I'm thankful for. Definitely one of the things I'm
- 25:49thankful for is the launch of the skin care company.
- 25:53All right, So please, please, please.
- 25:57It's I've already put it onto the side of my screen here.
- 26:00I've got some QR codes. It's also going to be linked
- 26:02down in the description below. I'm going to put up a video, a
- 26:08YouTube video, like a proper YouTube video sometime this
- 26:12weekend where I just want to talk a little bit about the skin
- 26:17care company itself. Not so much like the back story
- 26:21like I'm doing with you now. And also I have been meaning to
- 26:25also just do like a little bit of a YouTube intro video for
- 26:29just Joey travels, me being a travel advisor as well.
- 26:32So I'm going to be doing a proper YouTube video where I
- 26:35just talk a little bit about the two businesses.
- 26:39So look for that coming up this weekend.
- 26:42But yeah, if you want to go check out Mag Day, it's my skin
- 26:47care brand and the our tech line is, you know, serving fun and
- 26:52effective skin care for everyone.
- 26:54I really wanted to lean into the fact that, you know, skin care
- 27:00should not be for him or for her, should be for everyone.
- 27:04And that's one of the core values of the brand is that, you
- 27:07know, a lot of there are a lot of skin care companies,
- 27:09especially like the more established ones that market
- 27:12more towards, you know, traditionally feminine women.
- 27:15They're also men's skin care lines that obviously just cater
- 27:19to, you know, mainly from their marketing CIS gendered men.
- 27:24But I really wanted my skin care company to kind of break down
- 27:29those boundaries a little bit. And instead of being gender
- 27:34blind, like I like to call some companies, some companies, they
- 27:37don't reference people in their marketing or in their corporate
- 27:42image at all. And they don't even mention
- 27:45anything about gender, which is like anything that a company
- 27:49does in the marketing is very intentional.
- 27:52And I've decided with my skin care company that I wanted us to
- 27:56be gender positive. I wanted us to support the fact
- 28:03that, you know, there are people on the full gender spectrum, and
- 28:07I don't think that the beauty industry should just be so
- 28:14biased towards those traditional gender roles.
- 28:19Yeah. So that's Magne.
- 28:21I hope you check it out. Everything is linked down below
- 28:25or in the QR codes. I never remember which side of
- 28:28the video podcast is this side. It it.
- 28:32Yeah, This side is where I have the QR codes.
- 28:34Yeah, go check it out. And we have an Instagram, of
- 28:38course, it's a Holomagnet is the Instagram.
- 28:41It's going to be linked up below@holomagnet.com.
- 28:44It's also the website. So, yeah, it's very interesting.
- 28:48The work has not finished. The launch is a milestone, but
- 28:51you know, I, I, yeah, it's just in in some ways I can't believe
- 28:57that we've I've gotten this to this point.
- 29:00Yeah, that's, that's what I wanted to talk about today.
- 29:04And that's the big announcement. It may not seem like such a big
- 29:07thing to to you, but like on this side of the table because
- 29:11I've been working here for 2 1/2 years to get it to like this
- 29:14very critical big milestone for me is FN Giant.
- 29:19OK. But yeah, I hope you check it
- 29:22out. And yeah, I think on oh, for
- 29:26those who are interested in my Patreon, by the way, I did
- 29:32mention in episode or two ago that if you would like a free
- 29:36trial to my Patreon, you just have to DM me.
- 29:38And a few people took me up on that offer and I appreciate that
- 29:42some of you are listening. So I'm still going to do that.
- 29:45If you want to DM my Instagram, the just Joey T by personal
- 29:49Instagram, just DM me say, hey, I would like a free trial to the
- 29:53your Patreon. And I will do that because I do
- 29:55post a lot of good stuff in there.
- 29:57But one thing that I am doing on my Patreon, every month on my
- 30:01Patreon by top tier OPA subscribers, I will do a monthly
- 30:06live stream with them. I'll be doing it for every
- 30:09single month. And it's this Sunday that is the
- 30:12November live stream for those top tier OPA subscribers.
- 30:17And those are the ones that I love interacting with because
- 30:20they always like comment on my post and like they ask me
- 30:23questions. We have like a little group chat
- 30:24as well. So I really, really love
- 30:27interacting with with my Opas and we're actually going to have
- 30:31a monthly, our monthly live stream this Sunday at 4:00 PM
- 30:35Pacific. So the free trial, you're not
- 30:38going to get the top tier with that.
- 30:40You don't get the live stream for free, but just in case some
- 30:44of you are interested in my top tier Patreon subscription, now
- 30:51would be a great time because this this Sunday we're having
- 30:54that live stream and that's one of the main parts of being a top
- 30:56tier OPA subscribers. So OK, there you go.
- 31:01That's my big announcement. I think I think because as I'm
- 31:03recording this, it's Thursday and technically the launch is
- 31:06Friday when this goes up, I'm still putting some finishing
- 31:10touches on a few things with the launch even tonight.
- 31:13And honestly that that's how hard I need it to work.
- 31:16It's wake up, brush my teeth, wash my face, eat breakfast,
- 31:21work, work, work, work, work, work, lunch, work, work, work,
- 31:25work, work, dinner, work, work, work, sleep.
- 31:28So it's been like that basically seven days a week for several
- 31:31months now. So I'm really glad that next
- 31:34week I told my marketing agency people like, OK, do you guys
- 31:37need anything for me for the rest of this month?
- 31:41Because I'm, I'm, I'm going to be stepping away from my work
- 31:44computer until after the Thanksgiving long weekend.
- 31:50So that's like December, basically it's the Monday.
- 31:52And I said, and I said, and they said no, we just have a few
- 31:56things finish up. And then they're just going to
- 31:58like kind of take care of running some of the advertising
- 32:01and some of the social media that we've already all reviewed
- 32:05for like the next couple of weeks.
- 32:07So I get to just sit back a little bit, hang up with some
- 32:13friends, hit the gym. I'm still hitting the gym.
- 32:17I'm still making time for that. And yeah, I hope you all will
- 32:22support me in my business endeavours.
- 32:25Until next time, bye y'all.
