- 3:37What I want to tell everybody is that you've been here before for part
- 3:40one of your mini series, and we were going to continue that with part
- 3:46three in a couple of weeks. But tonight we're gonna be talking about your
- 3:50book, Wet Dreams of What some may not know is that not just an
- 3:53educator, you are also an author and we're talking about one of your books,
- 3:58Wet Dreams. I've been trying to figure out this title of your book.
- 4:02Tell me what does the title what Dreams suggest? M Well, what
- 4:14Dreams is It's a It's about a side of people that a lot of people
- 4:21don't get to see, you know, only your special someone gets the scene.
- 4:27And so when you say a side of people that you don't get to
- 4:32see, are we talking about ourselves or we're just talking in general? It
- 4:40could be in general or it could be yourself, because you know, some
- 4:46people, you know, venture out in different ways when it comes to that.
- 4:50Okay, okay, So was what was an early experience where you learned
- 4:55that the words that you write have power? Oh? Wow, that's really
- 5:02that's really something. When I was a kid, well, i'm you know
- 5:09to some of my siblings and some of my family members, even though I'm
- 5:14middle aged people, they still think I'm a kid. Well, I'm the
- 5:18youngest of seven kids, and you know there was like nine people, you
- 5:23know, nine or ten people are always telling me what to do in their
- 5:27perspective on life, and I wasn't always I wasn't heard. So when I
- 5:32would get tired of them, you know, doing the things that they were
- 5:35doing, they were nagging or being bossy or whatever or just you know,
- 5:41you know, I had two siblings, sisters that argue dollars have and I
- 5:46didn't like that, and I would just you know, tell them like it
- 5:50is on their paper. After I got tired of trying to tell them in
- 5:55a diplomatic way, I started writing down on paper that I give it to
- 5:59them, and they'd be like, they'll read it. They but they be
- 6:01like, she kicking out tell on this paper. She punched us out on
- 6:05these phrases, in these phrases, and they were they would they would literally
- 6:09stop doing what they was doing because they were like, you know, so
- 6:13in two occasions, I was heard, uh in my family singing. I
- 6:18was heard singing and I was heard writing. So I can tell you a
- 6:24story about singing too. Because my mom used to be a clean cleaning later
- 6:29that was her profession, and she cleaned for the dignitaries. And you know,
- 6:35uh, they would listen to the Top forty at their house and we
- 6:39liked Top forty two. And and when I was a kid, maybe about
- 6:43four years old, I me and my mama liked the song Abra Cadabra by
- 6:48Steve Milberman. Let me ask you something you're passing for writing? Did it
- 6:54come from what was going on in the family. Music. Music was always
- 6:59played a the house. Music was always passion growing up. Music was always
- 7:06so what dreams have taken people the places that others did adventure? How did
- 7:12that make you feel? That your books move people? So when they're reading
- 7:15your book, I'm talking about, oh, you know, it really moves
- 7:18them, because I recently spoke to someone who read one of your books and
- 7:23that they said, wow, well really I heard a lot of that from
- 7:29people there, especially when I their response to Wet Dreams. They were like,
- 7:34you really keep it real, you keep it out there in the open.
- 7:40A lot of this turns me on that kind of stuff. But it's
- 7:43just I just write. I do everything for my heart. I write for
- 7:48my heart. So basically, you know, there was so many experience experiences
- 7:56in love that I had, experiences and education that I had that I feel
- 8:00really dear too, and I just write it to a point where people can
- 8:05really feel it. So you hearing more from the women or are you hearing
- 8:09more from the men? Bo okay? All right, all right, So
- 8:16you've written fifteen books. You say, does writeing energize you or does it
- 8:20exhaust you? It energizes me. Sometimes it can be exhausting because sometimes I
- 8:26get it a creative mode and can't stop writing. You know, I can't
- 8:31go to sleep until I finished writing something, so to make sure that it's
- 8:37completed. Yeah, all right. So are all your books of the same
- 8:41genre? No? Oh, okay, so it's a little bit of everything.
- 8:46So how do you pivot from genre to drown? You from genre to
- 8:48genre when you're right? And where do you and where most of your books
- 8:54standing at now? Because you said that some of them are not you know,
- 8:58the different genres that you right, you picking from one to the other.
- 9:03Well, it depends on my mood at that particular time, or how
- 9:09I'm feeling, or what really inspires me at that time, you know,
- 9:13because sometimes I'm just in a mode or write about God, or sometimes I'm
- 9:16just in a mode or write about education. It just depends on how I
- 9:22feel. Like I said, I do everything for my heart. So it's
- 9:26not difficult to write spiritual one minute and then erotic the next. Yeah.
- 9:31Okay, okay, now you said it. So where do your book stand?
- 9:37Now? Do your books stand now? You're more on the erotic side
- 9:41or more on the spiritual side? Well, I'm on the lovey, lovey
- 9:46side now to that like me love you w Depending on the w you could
- 9:52be lovely to God. But I think that you know you'd be love you
- 9:54on that side and w on that side. But I'll take that. I
- 9:58think I know where you're coming from. Do you want your books to stand
- 10:01on their own or are you trying to build a body of work with connections
- 10:03between each book. Well, some books that already have stand on their own,
- 10:11and then some of them are parts of series. So I kind of
- 10:15got a little mix of both. You know, some books standing on their
- 10:18own, like Life Support, Trials of the Northeast Louisiana. And it's another
- 10:26one that stands on their own, the School of Hard Dogs. But The
- 10:30Wet Dreams stand on his own just by the title alone. And what I've
- 10:33been hearing from other people that, well, it does got a whole corner
- 10:37by itself. It does because you know, it's the most popular one and
- 10:43actuality. People think that's my first book, you know, and it's really
- 10:46not. It's my it's my fourteenth. Oh wow. So some of your
- 10:52books are in three major US university libraries. And What Dreams was given five
- 10:56stars? How to your five star author? It's also it's miraculous, to
- 11:03be honest, I got four or five star ratings in less than a week,
- 11:11you know, from last Monday until this Wednesday, I got dreams.
- 11:18Yes, well, so what dreams is doing pretty well with what we view
- 11:22it. Okay, that's great. So how many unpublished and half finished books
- 11:26do you have? Because you say you have fifteen books in all, how
- 11:28many have you published and unfinished books do you have? Now? Maybe about
- 11:33six that are half six that are unpublished, and maybe three that are half
- 11:39published. Like you know, almost there. Most of those books are rotic?
- 11:46Uh uh? Yeah. I think people really want more erotic, and
- 11:54I think I have aenough material to do another alrotic. Okay, So when
- 12:00did you cross over from erotic to spirit you or was it spiritual to erotic?
- 12:03Which one? It's like the I was writing spiritually and about education before
- 12:11I did an idiootic. Can you hear me? Or you hear I can
- 12:18hear you? Yeah? I started off with education in God and spirituality first,
- 12:24and then when people saw some things that I didn't think that they were
- 12:28supposed to see, that's when I got into a writer to explain why you
- 12:35know, certain things happen, Certain things happened for a reason. So do
- 12:39you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?
- 12:43Can you tell this Victoria your secret? Well, there are some secrets,
- 12:50and there nurse some things that are just all out there. It's like somebody
- 13:01that I used to care about used to say a badge word for you know
- 13:05what. So that's that's a secret, and what it is really not a
- 13:07secret in the war. Thank you for keeping it covered up. I appreciate
- 13:11that. But I think most adults and I hope no children are watching Go
- 13:15to Bed. I hope no children are watching tonight because I do have to
- 13:20disclaim of going across the bottom, letting them know that this might be a
- 13:24little different than what we normally do. What is the lesson that you're trying
- 13:30to convey through your books and what does literary success look like to you?
- 13:35The message is you with my writing is that people can be versatile, and
- 13:45there are pieces different pieces of a person. There's not just you know,
- 13:50one person, one thing about that that that that's just that person. There
- 13:54are a lot of pieces of a person. You know, there's a spiritual
- 13:58out each side, education side, there's you know, there's a whole bunch
- 14:03of different sides of a person that makes up a person. And I feel
- 14:09that my purpose for writing is to enlighten people, to entertain them, to
- 14:13educate them, and inspire them. So that's why I write the way I
- 14:20write, not because not not, you know, in different different way,
- 14:24different genres or different topics, because I want to be somebody that's a little
- 14:33bit for everybody. And that's how there's the educational side and spiritual side and
- 14:41the rodic side. What side do you leaning more towards them? Which are
- 14:43you more comfortable with the I'm more comfortable with the education and on the spirituality
- 14:50and inspiration, But a lot of where you can educate people spiritually, and
- 14:58from what I'm seeing with your book with Dreams, you're educating people on different
- 15:03things as well. So what Dreams is a collection of spicy, erotic poetry.
- 15:07Did you get pushed back once your book was published? Well, I
- 15:13got a lot of responses that I didn't think I was gonna get. Uh,
- 15:22some of them were positive and then some of them weren't. Weren't so
- 15:26positive. So is it perfect for anyone or is it better for those who
- 15:31are still trying to find themselves? Well, it's not perfect for everyone.
- 15:37It's for mature audiences only mature mature The real twenty one and up, not
- 15:43the fake twenty one and up, the real twenty one and up. If
- 15:48you're not the real twenty one and up, you don't need to get this.
- 15:50Because it was a lady they read this book. She was seventy eight
- 15:54years old, and I told her not to buy it because she was at
- 15:58church and I said, this is a for you by spiritual for you,
- 16:03but she about it. Do you think that the title meant when she saw
- 16:07wet Dreams on that? Because I've asked that question by posting it. What
- 16:11do people think, you know when they hear wet Dreams? And I've been
- 16:15getting some responses that make me just blink a couple of times, like I
- 16:22just didn't think that I would be hearing this type of language in the day
- 16:26and age, But nowadays you can hear just about any and everything. But
- 16:30you know, there's people's own personal opinions as far as what they believe wet
- 16:33Dreams mean. I have been told that it means a little bit more to
- 16:41the male than it does to the female. Well, well I'll just take
- 16:49that word for it, you know, not wanting to sit here and say
- 16:52yes, it do No, we don't if that's their opinion. That's their
- 16:56opinion, all right. Now, with that, we're gonna take a short
- 17:03break, and when we come back, we're gonna talk more about the why
- 17:07why Wet Dreams. So we're gonna go into a break and your break.
- 17:11This break is gonna give them a little teaser book trailer of your book,
- 17:17Wet Dreams. H Wow, you just smile. Wow. What I want
- 18:03to know you you mentioned that Wet Dreams. When I first saw the book
- 18:07cover and spoke to you about Wet Dreams, I would have never associated it
- 18:12with poetry. How does that work? You're talking erotic, but you're mentioning
- 18:17poetry with it. Yeah. Really, that's how I guess. That's what
- 18:26I'm really more comfortable with when I get close to writing books. But I
- 18:30do write a paragraph form. And it was just something, you know,
- 18:34different pieces of different information that I went through that I could share in in
- 18:48a rhyme instead of, you know, just a paragraph because the rhyme and
- 18:52sometimes it didn't rhyme though. I guess how I could say this. How
- 18:57I could say this is that. And I was a speaker at a adult
- 19:03party and I started. I had already had some of these and they wanted
- 19:07more. So I just went on and wrote a whole book of it,
- 19:11you know, finished the book. I had about thirty of them already.
- 19:15And so it's one hundred and ninety one pages. Yeah, it's one hundred
- 19:19and ninety one pages. So so I hear another book is going to be
- 19:22coming through. So is it safe to say that your book takes you from
- 19:26fantasy to reality or runchiness and revolution? Uh? Kind of all love it?
- 19:34Tell me what all of it means? Well, like I said,
- 19:40I gotta I have a creative mind. Uh so some people like to act
- 19:49out certain things, and so I think you know some of it and there
- 19:56is real and some of it's not. So I'm just gonna that you figure
- 20:00it out. So what part is fantasy and what part is reality? Well,
- 20:06it's hard to really say because it has three sections and some of it
- 20:11parts of the some of the some of the sections. Some of it is
- 20:15fantasy, and then some of it is reality. The little piece called Buddy
- 20:22Ears, that's reality. That's okay. So okay. The question of the
- 20:29hour, why what dreams? You said that it was intentional, So how
- 20:33intentional was it? Well? People shared things of me that I didn't really
- 20:40think that other people should have seen and I was getting viewed. I was
- 20:45getting an that was given people a negative depiction of me, and I just
- 20:52wanted to explain. You know, it's an exploration of some of the things
- 20:57that they saw and why it happened. Oh wow, So for you it
- 21:03was more reality based than it was fantasy. But those who may not know
- 21:11you, it could be on the fantasy side for them. But for those
- 21:15who do know you, it's more reality. But then they twist the reality
- 21:21their way. Am I correct? So far? That's correct. They had
- 21:23their own story for me which really wasn't true, and I had to explain
- 21:30it my way and then it really was true, and then and then then
- 21:38then then your book Dreams is like artwork. No, I take that back.
- 21:47It's like a stained glass window. It's captivating with a certain light that
- 21:51evokes meaning, honesty and intensity. Is that where you were going with this
- 21:56book? Yes, because I wanted it to start off like you know how
- 22:03you know that saw proud be and they would say, I'm talking about that.
- 22:07They was gonna make it nice and easy and rough. Yeah. Yeah,
- 22:11So I'm not gonna mention that sounds like a quote because that was at
- 22:15a different error and her life and for what people may have thought about her.
- 22:22But we're bringing it back to here to you. How did you push
- 22:26past the worst point in your life and still see the light every day to
- 22:30write such great books because you had shared with me that something's happened during the
- 22:37course of your life that caused the shift in your life. Well, I
- 22:44was in a situation where I was with somebody I really cared about. It
- 22:48couldn't get out of it. So I had to turn to God to get
- 22:52out of that situation. I had. I joined a woman's parer group and
- 22:57got out of that situation. I had to tell that person a lie to
- 23:02tell, you know, not to not to say that I was going to
- 23:04the Pearl group I was going to. I told him I was going to
- 23:07Chasa And I ended up getting away getting out of that situation with the help
- 23:12of God. But in court during that that time, it cost you a
- 23:18lot, it did, it really did. It could have cost me costed
- 23:22me my life. Uh. I lost my livelihood a lot of times.
- 23:26My family meant my family really didn't have a good relationship anyway. I was
- 23:32the black sheep of the girls and you know, I didn't really gotta get
- 23:37a lot of support, and I had to move away, uh, to
- 23:41exile in Mississippi because I was black ball in my hometown. And then after
- 23:45that I started to find it out. I thought it was you know,
- 23:48I thought people were just being hateful for my gifts and talents and uh,
- 23:56the way that I taught as a day, because I used so everything to
- 24:00teach, you know, singing, write and dancing, you know, just
- 24:04you know, I get down with the you know, so that's what I
- 24:07really doubt. And then I get to Mississippi and I found out all this
- 24:15stuff that's had been going on in my life for the past ten fifteen years
- 24:21behind the scenes, and I was really like whoa, you know, I
- 24:26was, I you know, I was in tears, you know, for
- 24:30days, weeks. But because I was just so abased before that. You
- 24:37lost friendships, you lost your job, you lost school housing. And that
- 24:45was through this because of this other person or was other people involved as well?
- 24:48It was other people that were involved, other people that were involved,
- 24:52A lot of people that were involved that shouldn't have been involved. You know,
- 24:56in the South, people don't mind their business well up nor if they
- 25:02don't either, so don't feel bad. They don't mind. People just are
- 25:07in other people's business for whatever reason, you know, maybe they don't have
- 25:10enough time on their hand to take care of their own business. But on
- 25:12a serious note, it it just cost you so much where you're now living
- 25:18in a hotel with your child, and that can't be easy. Is it
- 25:23hard for you or is it impossible for you to go back or it is
- 25:29just someplace you just rather not be bus It's not it's not really hot possible
- 25:33at this point for me to go back. It's too much under the bridge.
- 25:37Too much has happened that was negative. Too much has been exposed,
- 25:42you know too. It's too much, maw. So do you have any
- 25:47connections with your family at this point? Oh, just a few people,
- 25:53not everybody. Like I said, I saw some people in my family that
- 25:57I put on the way with, you know, because when I when I
- 26:02was in my time, I mean, they treated me like I was an
- 26:04invalid and I didn't have anything ever going on in my life. But I
- 26:08never been that type of person to my family. I done did everything that
- 26:14over and beyond the call of duty when it came to them. But you
- 26:17know, a lot of them didn't have my back. A lot of people
- 26:19I had a family. I had family that invited people that did me wrong
- 26:26on jobs to family gatherings and never never thought that there was anything wrong with
- 26:33that. And I thought that was just the most hurtful, one of the
- 26:36most hurtful things that you could do. And I could go on and on
- 26:40about, you know, stuff that happened. I wrote a poem called my
- 26:45family sucks in one of my books, because they really suck. And have
- 26:53any of your books been helpful towards your healing? Yeah, this is what
- 27:00I wrote that when you know later that I worked with in the past,
- 27:03laughter it that I want to go back a minute when you wrote which when
- 27:07Wet Dreams, when I wrote something, when I wrote that poem called my
- 27:11family, I wrote that in another book. But as far as Wet Dreams,
- 27:17it was a lot of stuff that I that that I held in a
- 27:19particular season in my life secret and sacred. So when Wet Dreams came out,
- 27:29my family was upset because they didn't know this stuff was going on,
- 27:33you know, and they really don't know. It's saying that she's on Amazon
- 27:37right now looking for your book. It's Wet Dreams, right, and Patrice
- 27:45is saying that she read the book wet Dreams. Wow. Have you considered
- 27:52using the pseudonym, you know, with with your books because of what's going
- 27:57on back home? Oh? I did, but I'm not a person that
- 28:04throws freaks and hides my hands, so I'm not gonna do that, you
- 28:08know. Okay, So since you've written that book, exactly when did that
- 28:15book come out? That book came out in twenty twenty two. That's not
- 28:19really my latest book. My latest book is about education, it's not as
- 28:23doing a book dreams. How long after that incident did you decide to write
- 28:30that book? Well, after I found out what was going on, I
- 28:37kind of just like, you know, it was like, I'm finna move
- 28:41on from this, don't worry about this, blah blah blah blah blah,
- 28:44and just keep trying to get jobs and stand on the job that I'm on.
- 28:47And then I had to move back home because my elderly parents got really
- 28:52sick, and kind of glad I did because the time that I was there,
- 28:56I was able to see my dad in his last days, last three
- 29:00years, and that's when I I had a lot of hard times, a
- 29:11lot of hard times with going to the store, you know, doing doing
- 29:15going to I didn't I didn't even want to go to church anymore because of
- 29:18several things that was, you know, revealed to people at church. You
- 29:22know, it was just a lot and people were like, I s stuff
- 29:27was that was? That? Stuff was said in church. Were those individuals
- 29:32that was involved, were they members of that church as well? Nope,
- 29:37they just knew that I sung in a lot of choirs and I was a
- 29:38soloist of a lot of different churches in the region of my birth, because
- 29:44I mean I seen really well. So I mean I was always on program
- 29:48somewhere. My daddy always took me and uh to those events. I wasn't
- 29:56groomed to be whatever they said that I was. I was groomed to be
- 30:00housewife. I didn't do nothing but go to church. My first kiss was
- 30:04this. Well, it's usually the case for some people. So it's usually
- 30:11the case for some people that you know, it happens there in church,
- 30:12and if it's happening underneath the Lord's house, then that was the person that
- 30:18he may have meant for you to be with him to spend the rest of
- 30:22your life now. Ain't gonna talk about all other stuff that happened, hopefully
- 30:25didn't happen in the church, but it did that. I don't play with
- 30:29the Lord like that. Have you ever looked back at the book with Dreams
- 30:34and said, I wish I didn't write this. I wish I could take
- 30:37it back. Uh? Yeah, I'd be like, I'd be like,
- 30:45Uh, I read the book and I was like, what what was really
- 30:48going on? By what? I? Yes, yes, And I look
- 30:53at it and I'm like, I wrote this. So some of the characteris
- 31:00that's in the book or any of the characters like you? When do you
- 31:06feel as though you're like any of the characters in your book? Uh?
- 31:08Yeah, okay, and this other individual or other individuals because I remember we
- 31:15talked briefly and you mentioned that some sisters was involved with the sisters that you
- 31:22were talking about with sorority sisters, and I thought that there was a cohesiveness
- 31:27with sororities. How did that turn out once they found out? Are you
- 31:33still in contact with the sorority? You still do things with them? Uh?
- 31:37I really wasn't, you know, Because of the of a relationship that
- 31:41I was in, I never really felt part of the organization, all of
- 31:45that person that I was in a relationship, and it made me feel like
- 31:51and so I did oubts, you know, because you no, go ahead.
- 31:56I'm sorry because it ruined my life because it didn't stand what it stood
- 32:05for didn't really apply to me. You know. I learned all of the
- 32:08stuff you know that that involved it, and I did those things to those
- 32:14other individuals, but they never did that to me. So, you know,
- 32:20I only was involved with the formal things and not the informal things,
- 32:24you know. So, and the only and the only way that I was
- 32:28involved with the informal things was with somebody I was involved with. So for
- 32:34you to have lost housing, lost the job, had to relocate, and
- 32:39it wasn't something that you wanted to do. Yeah, and they thought it.
- 32:44Yes, and those women they thought it was funny and they still think
- 32:47so, you know, So you lost the relationships, some of them were
- 32:52severed with family members. This individual that you speak of, in order for
- 32:58that to have happened, he had to have some type of power in your
- 33:01state that you were living in. Was he a powerful person? He was
- 33:07a powerful person. Wow. So he used his power to I would say,
- 33:15knock you down a bit. Well, he was a powerful person at
- 33:17school too. Yeah, we we this started in college. Oh so you
- 33:24knew him way back then? Did he have Did your family know him as
- 33:30well? He was friends with my brother? Wow? Season a fraternity was
- 33:39my brother. Wow. I don't know too much about fraternities except what I
- 33:46see on TV. So I let it. I let it stay there.
- 33:50Wow. If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it
- 33:55be and what inspires you or gives you hope these days? Younger self,
- 34:01knowing that you knowing what you know, now speak up. Don't be afraid
- 34:10to let your light shine no matter what you know. Don't be don't don't
- 34:19don't dumb yourself down for anybody. And you know when people don't accept you,
- 34:24don't think little of yourself. Think being what I'm said, What,
- 34:31if anything, do you owe the real people upon whom you base your characters?
- 34:36Do you think that you owe them anything? No? I don't think
- 34:39I don't owe them anything because I didn't list anybody's names, and to be
- 34:45actual and factual, only listed and I I kind of you know, switched
- 34:52around a lot of events. But uh, some people read in between the
- 34:57lines and thought that they could get a payday for him at don't and it
- 35:00didn't happen. Well, some may say that some of the things that you
- 35:05say are apologetic, and some say that you mean what you write. Years
- 35:12of what you wrote is what you really meant. And then how much of
- 35:16what you wrote you seem to be apologizing for, Well, that's kind of
- 35:25It depends on the book What Dreams, What Dreams? Well, What Dreams
- 35:32maybe maybe thirty percent apologetic and seventy percent I seen what I said. Have
- 35:43you seen this individual? Now, you said that some of this was your
- 35:47fault, some of it was that person's fault, but then there was others
- 35:51that was involved. Have you actually apologized to anyone for any of this that
- 35:58may have happened. Yeah, y'all said everybody that it was directly and people
- 36:02that were directly involved in the situation. Now, people that stuck their nose
- 36:08in it, Well, I didn't apologize to him, But the people that
- 36:13were really really involved I did. Were they able to receive your apology?
- 36:21Two of them saw it as a threat, and I think the other person
- 36:23that's mainly involved really took it uh as a sincere apology. I'm not really
- 36:31sure about that, So I can only go yeah, I can only apologize
- 36:39to him. Was that face apology or was it on the phone a letter?
- 36:45It was like a letter and a voice recording, and you haven't hearded
- 36:52back from them at all. I could only go by what you know people
- 36:58uh that know both of them really say. So it sounds like that your
- 37:04books are about your life with one particular person, and it also sounds like
- 37:08old wounds that need healing. How was the healing process working for you on
- 37:14the level of the relationship that you once had with this person. It's hard
- 37:19because before I loved that person, it was stuff that I never told that
- 37:23person that I told that person and and it really bothered me for a long
- 37:32time. I blocked it out of our bevering because I didn't want to remember
- 37:37it anymore. And I deal with it. I still have problems with it.
- 37:45I think that person has problems with it, because the last time I
- 37:51talked to the person, which was in twenty fourteen, they said how they
- 37:54felt about the situation, and it kind of tore me up because that person
- 37:59never said and to think about it when we were in contact direct content.
- 38:07So you had mentioned earlier that it severed some relationships within your family. But
- 38:15we had spoken also, and you said that there's some people in your family
- 38:19that just seem to have come around because they sometime it went past they've gotten
- 38:24to know the situation a little bit more. Yeah. Yeah, one of
- 38:31my siblings, because like I said, I got tired of dealing with that
- 38:37sorority. She didn't know all of the stuff that had happened because she was
- 38:42in it before I was in it, and she was really close to somebody
- 38:46that was involved that really hurt me in the situation, and she really didn't
- 38:51know everything that was going on because I didn't tell I helped that situation with
- 38:57those people Seeker and Sacred because I didn't want nobody to know that. You
- 39:00know, there wasn't a part of our life that I wanted to share with
- 39:05people because I kind of felt convicted about it. But at the same time,
- 39:09you know, it was an escape from being from home life, and
- 39:14it was escape from you know, racism and poverty and abuse, you know,
- 39:19in my hometown area. So it was something that I never had before,
- 39:22you know. So I can't really say the situation was all bad,
- 39:27but parts of it was. And I really believe that that sibling understands that,
- 39:32y'all, that it wasn't that it wasn't. I really wasn't trying to
- 39:39tell them everything. And then they were really upset because especially a one particular
- 39:45incident that they were really upset about because I didn't tell a soul about it,
- 39:51you know for a long time. You know, you mentioned spirituality a
- 39:55few times. What is your relationship like now with God, now that all
- 40:00of this has happened, do you think are you looking for God's forgiveness?
- 40:06Oh? I already God God forgiveness from that. You know, a lot
- 40:10of people still want to condemn me for that. But when I was in
- 40:14their prayer group, I was getting forgiveness for that, and I was breaking
- 40:17away from it, and I stayed out those situations like that for the longest.
- 40:22I mean, I don't even live that type of lifestyle anymore. You
- 40:27know, I don't go I'm not in a relationship with anybody. I really
- 40:30don't care to be in one. It was a time that I did want
- 40:35to be married to that particularly individual, but I don't want to be married
- 40:38to anybody. I just want to be in a situation where my children are
- 40:44provided for and I am as well. You know I'm providing for you.
- 40:50You have a go fundme page and if you would like to send blessings and

- 41:32when we first met, when we first started talking, I felt a little
- 41:37sadness there. But I see that, you know, you're smiling, and
- 41:39it's great to see that big smile on your face. It's just wonderful to
- 41:44see. You had mentioned that you are not in that life anymore, but

- 42:19and some people who seem to have gotten involved. So she's gonna share
- 42:22a lot of that with us. And I'm just happy that you are in
