- 0:00Speaker 1: He dummy.
- 0:00Speaker 2: If you get three roses, it's a trap. The War
- 0:05Speaker 2: of the Roses starts.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Right now on John Jay and Ridge.
- 0:08Speaker 3: One four to seven. Kiss ff, John Jay and Rich
- 0:11Speaker 3: It's time for War of the Roses. Debbie thinks her
- 0:14Speaker 3: husband's cheating, so she's coming with us for advice. Debbie,
- 0:16Speaker 3: we want to hear your whole story. Then we're going
- 0:19Speaker 3: to call your husband. Tell him he just won a
- 0:21Speaker 3: dozen romantic red roses. He could send him to anybody
- 0:23Speaker 3: he wants. Debbie, good morning, What is your situation?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Hi guys. Okay, so my husband is making me feel
- 0:32Speaker 1: like I'm crazy, but I swear that something is going
- 0:37Speaker 1: on with him and our son's teachers, because, like back
- 0:41Speaker 1: in December, I quit my job, so for the first time,
- 0:44Speaker 1: I was able to take our son to school every morning.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Thinking that my husband would be relieved that he could
- 0:49Speaker 1: get to work earlier. He insisted on still taking him
- 0:53Speaker 1: drop off himself every single day and I might ask
- 0:56Speaker 1: to like ride along, he get weird about it or
- 0:59Speaker 1: make some excuse, And then we went to the school
- 1:02Speaker 1: carnival at the end of the year. Just a few
- 1:03Speaker 1: weeks ago, I'm watching him talk to our son's teacher.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I made my stomach job. You know, they were just
- 1:12Speaker 1: way too comfortable with each other. It didn't feel like
- 1:15Speaker 1: a parent talking to a teacher. It felt like two
- 1:19Speaker 1: people who knew each other a little too well. So
- 1:24Speaker 1: now that school note, our son is doing a summer
- 1:28Speaker 1: program on the same campus, and my husband is still
- 1:32Speaker 1: acting strange. He's weirdly invested in the drop offs and pickups,
- 1:36Speaker 1: and every time I bring it up, he tells me
- 1:38Speaker 1: I'm overthinking it. And maybe I am, But if I'm
- 1:41Speaker 1: being honest, I don't think my husband is excited to
- 1:44Speaker 1: see our son every morning. I feels like he's excited
- 1:48Speaker 1: just to see the teacher.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Well, man, that's still that feeling.
- 1:52Speaker 3: You know, there is a problem right now in the
- 1:54Speaker 3: school system where I feel like teachers are getting better
- 1:57Speaker 3: looking every year. That's a problem when I was a kid.
- 2:02Speaker 3: When I was a kid, my teachers were old ladies
- 2:05Speaker 3: with like beehive hairdoes and glasses and mustaches. I like,
- 2:11Speaker 3: now you go, I remember picking up my kidding school
- 2:14Speaker 3: to all the teachers that are, like, man, they're all
- 2:16Speaker 3: good looking guys and girls. They're all handsome, they're all beautiful,
- 2:19Speaker 3: Like what the heck is going on.
- 2:21Speaker 2: And that's the problem. That's the problem in America today.
- 2:25Speaker 3: We need to pass the proposition you gotta you gotta
- 2:28Speaker 3: be a fiver under.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Sorry, Debbie, I mean she is pretty, which isn't helping
- 2:41Speaker 1: with my spinning out and overthinking everything.
- 2:43Speaker 3: The weird thing is that they seem to have a
- 2:45Speaker 3: connection that you picked up on. That alone is weird.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Case he mentioned her like ever randomly throughout the house
- 2:52Speaker 4: or is it only that one situation you saw at
- 2:55Speaker 4: the carnival and then his you know, persistence in doing
- 2:58Speaker 4: drop off a pickup.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I've warned him talk about the teacher being like like
- 3:05Speaker 1: notver to me. When I ask about him, he completely
- 3:07Speaker 1: shuts down. But I've overheard him mention her name, and
- 3:11Speaker 1: when I've gotten tried to figure out what it was
- 3:13Speaker 1: like getting closer, he changes the subject and and I
- 3:19Speaker 1: don't know. So I just I know that she's very pretty,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and you know, and since I quit my job, he's like,
- 3:26Speaker 1: it's just you know, my friends have been like, it's
- 3:29Speaker 1: just because you know, you're feeling whatever about that, and
- 3:33Speaker 1: so I don't know. I just I really just I'm
- 3:37Speaker 1: spending too much time spinning out about it. And I
- 3:39Speaker 1: just wo like some kind of confirmation because it was
- 3:41Speaker 1: just I mean, at the carnival. I had to remind
- 3:44Speaker 1: them that I was there.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I hate that, like he's trying to make you feel
- 3:49Speaker 5: crazy about it Like that, to me is even more
- 3:51Speaker 5: suspicious than if you were just like you know, tried
- 3:54Speaker 5: to make you feel better or more comfortable about it.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Have you walked down your husband talking to your son, like,
- 4:00Speaker 3: has Miss Ferguson said anything about how good I look,
- 4:04Speaker 3: Miss Ferguson, like my outfit yesterday? All right, Debbie, we're
- 4:07Speaker 3: gonna call your husband see or sends flowers to? What
- 4:09Speaker 3: is your husband's name, Frank? Okay, hang tight, We're gonna
- 4:13Speaker 3: get him on the phone. We're gonna see who he
- 4:15Speaker 3: sends flowers to. War of the Roses continues next with
- 4:19Speaker 3: John Jaye rich.
- 4:20Speaker 4: I'm so glad you're here as the person who currently
- 4:23Speaker 4: occupies your attention.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I would like to thank you for listening to John
- 4:27Speaker 2: Jane rich.
- 4:28Speaker 3: John Jane Richard the middle War of the Roses. Debbie
- 4:31Speaker 3: thinks her husband Frank, might have something going on with
- 4:35Speaker 3: their kid's elementary school teacher he wants to go to
- 4:38Speaker 3: drop off. She quit her job in December and he
- 4:40Speaker 3: still wants to go to drop off. And she saw
- 4:44Speaker 3: them at the car and now school's over. But you
- 4:45Speaker 3: saw them at the summer carnival, right, and there was
- 4:47Speaker 3: like something going on. There was a history. There is
- 4:49Speaker 3: what you're saying, right, Debbie.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a serious vibe and I suddenly was
- 4:54Speaker 1: out of the picture.
- 4:55Speaker 3: When it was done too talking de mean that's all
- 4:57Speaker 3: you need when it tests him. Yeah, okay, Kylie you ready?
- 5:01Speaker 3: I am ready, all right, Debbie, here we go.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Hi, there is Frank available.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Yes and see.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Oh, good morning.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Frank, just a man, I'm looking Forward's kind of your
- 5:29Speaker 5: lucky day. So my name is Bella. I'm with a
- 5:31Speaker 5: new company. We're called jan R Flowers and we're trying
- 5:33Speaker 5: to get the word out there. So you've actually been
- 5:35Speaker 5: chosen to be a part of our social media campaign.
- 5:38Speaker 5: You're like, we would love you for you to be
- 5:40Speaker 5: like a micro influencer. So kind of what this means
- 5:43Speaker 5: for you, Frank is you get to send our most
- 5:45Speaker 5: romantic bouquet.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Of roses to anyone you want. It's totally free for you,
- 5:49Speaker 2: and all we.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Kind of ask in return is that you just post
- 5:52Speaker 5: about us on whichever platform you use the most.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah.
- 5:58Speaker 5: It's I know you're worried about it, but it's actually
- 6:00Speaker 5: it's been working out really well for us, sort of
- 6:03Speaker 5: like a word of mouth sort of thing. And like
- 6:05Speaker 5: I said, it's not going to cost you anything. I'm
- 6:06Speaker 5: not going to ask you for your credit card information
- 6:08Speaker 5: or anything like that. The only personal information I'll need
- 6:12Speaker 5: to get from you is as personal as you want
- 6:14Speaker 5: to get on the card. We'll send out the roses
- 6:16Speaker 5: with a card, and I usually tell people like, this
- 6:17Speaker 5: is your chance to make this bouquet really from you.
- 6:21Speaker 5: So let me know what you want to write on
- 6:23Speaker 5: the card, the message, and then we'll go name and address,
- 6:26Speaker 5: and then i'll give you a time they should be delivered.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, I guess you'd write on there.
- 6:35Speaker 3: You make me feel ways.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I haven't in a long time.
- 6:40Speaker 2: You make me feel ways. I haven't in a long time.
- 6:44Speaker 1: M h. I'm sorry for coming on so strong. While
- 6:49Speaker 1: I'm still figuring things out. I'll make it up to you,
- 6:54Speaker 1: I promise.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Okay, I'm still figuring things out. I'll make it up
- 6:59Speaker 2: to you. I promise. Great, that's very sweet.
- 7:04Speaker 5: And then, who did you want me to address this
- 7:06Speaker 5: to or do you want like the love at the
- 7:08Speaker 5: end of it?
- 7:08Speaker 2: Love Frank?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I love Frank, got it?
- 7:13Speaker 2: And then who do you want me to address this to?
- 7:16Speaker 1: Anna? Are you kidding me right now? Why you just
- 7:24Speaker 1: you just send flowers to our son's teacher. Oh my god,
- 7:29Speaker 1: that Debbie. It's not it's not like.
- 7:33Speaker 3: That, you know, like that?
- 7:35Speaker 1: And what is it like? Because from where I'm sitting,
- 7:38Speaker 1: it looks like my husband is sitting romantic flowers to
- 7:41Speaker 1: another woman.
- 7:43Speaker 3: It's said it wasn't supposed to be romantic.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You know, she never she never said romantic flowers. You know,
- 7:51Speaker 1: he said love Frank. It's just you know, sending flowers
- 7:56Speaker 1: to the teacher. You know, it's you know, I say,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I'm happy that everybody she's she's an incredible carter this
- 8:04Speaker 1: year and teachers not getting off credit. You know, I
- 8:07Speaker 1: look to be the president of teacher appreciation my Pam.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You don't get off about his other teachers. That's not true.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'm serious, But she's really helped a lot. You know,
- 8:18Speaker 1: I just I wanted to I wanted to do something nice.
- 8:21Speaker 1: He wanted to do something nice, And you want to
- 8:23Speaker 1: do something nice for her because I've known you for
- 8:26Speaker 1: twelve years and you forgot his anniversary this year, but
- 8:30Speaker 1: suddenly you're out a third grade teacher. Come on, Debby,
- 8:36Speaker 1: that's not fair.
- 8:37Speaker 3: You know that. No.
- 8:38Speaker 1: No, what's not fair is listening. Can you talk about
- 8:40Speaker 1: this woman like she's mother Teresa? Every time she comes up?
- 8:44Speaker 1: I don't talk about her like she's mother. No. I
- 8:47Speaker 1: don't know what this is, but this is like, if
- 8:49Speaker 1: it's not full, I'm cheating. Get the least emotional cheating, right, Okay,
- 8:53Speaker 1: that's a huge accusation.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I think.
- 8:58Speaker 1: You're buying her flowers. You're defending her harder defending our marriage.
- 9:06Speaker 1: That's not fair, Debby. Come on, you know that's not so. No. No,
- 9:11Speaker 1: you have been emotionally stating our son's teacher. Well, I've
- 9:15Speaker 1: been sitting at home seeking that. I'm the lose, the
- 9:20Speaker 1: crazy one. I'm losing my Mike. Eddy.
- 9:22Speaker 3: I am not emotionally dating her.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Okay, I know we're we're absolutely with this conversation.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Eddy. You are blowing the so out of proportion, my.
- 9:33Speaker 1: God, and you're in love a Carter's teacher. So here
- 9:35Speaker 1: we are. I am not okay.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Hey, let you know Frank that you're on the radio,
- 9:40Speaker 3: John J and Rich wore the roses. That's so you know,
- 9:44Speaker 3: what's so you? In the card you said I apologize
- 9:47Speaker 3: for coming on too strong.
- 9:49Speaker 2: So that means you came on strong.
- 9:50Speaker 3: You came on strong, You crossed a boundary with the teacher,
- 9:53Speaker 3: and she let you know about it. A something to
- 9:55Speaker 3: think about. But then now you're setting her flowers.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Some amost like you'll make it up to her.
- 10:01Speaker 3: That's even like coming on more too strong. I don't
- 10:04Speaker 3: know how strong. What you did the first time.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Gesture of appreciation.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Is a gesture of a to say, I'm sorry, I'm
- 10:12Speaker 3: coming on too strong. Here's a dozen romantic red roses.
- 10:15Speaker 5: I mean paired with you make me feel ways I
- 10:19Speaker 5: haven't in a long time. Has nothing to do with
- 10:22Speaker 5: her teaching, dude, unless.
- 10:24Speaker 3: I really got fired up about education.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I mean someone needs to stay in age.
- 10:31Speaker 2: You need to apologizes it.
- 10:34Speaker 3: So this so far, you haven't got physical with the teacher, right,
- 10:38Speaker 3: or have you?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Maybe that was him coming on right try to kiss.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Her or something?
- 10:43Speaker 1: No, I would never, I would, No, I you know,
- 10:47Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Well, Debbie, you were right, Debbie women's intuition. Let me
- 10:53Speaker 3: tell you, Yeah, sorry about that, Debbie, listen to what

- 11:26Speaker 1: that's that's fine, you know what, Frank, That's just fine.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I'm the crazy one. That's cool. I think that's great.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I think I think you're spot on, not you in
- 11:40Speaker 1: love with all?
- 11:41Speaker 3: Right? Can we put it on whole, Debby, you can
- 11:44Speaker 3: stitch up with the We do have a counselor. We
- 11:46Speaker 3: use everyone, so I haven't used it in a while,
- 11:47Speaker 3: but I think we need to connect you with our counselor,
- 11:50Speaker 3: and you too need to discuss this. But hold on
- 11:52Speaker 3: the line real quick. That's War of the Roses. Sorry
- 11:55Speaker 3: about that, Debbie with John Jay and Rich
