- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: We will be dropping them into a tier of must start feel good to start W flex
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: shaky flex or rather not, right?
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty self explanatory.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: As always, you can get all of my rankings on bdge.co.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: If you are a big dog member, you get the weekly rankings, you get the waiver wire rankings, and you get access to the private Q&A every Sunday morning before games tick off, or you can assault me with any questions that you may have.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's move over to our big, beautiful chart here.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: And we will start with the Thursday night football game, Washington at Green Bay, Green Bay, three and a half point favorites at home.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: 48 and a half point over under in this one.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: As always, we will start with the practice reports.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: We have a laundry list of players on here, a lot of full, a lot of limited, not too concerned about anyone in those two categories.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: For the DMPs, we are looking at Zack Tom.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're offensive tackle for the Packers.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's at the MP on Monday.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: getting rest there, I just assume.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: But Zack Tom does not go.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: That is going to be a big hit for the Packers though.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to affect the guy like Josh Jacobs.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be in your lineup as a must-start regardless of Zack Tom being online or it being fucking Tom from my space.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: The other side of the ball, the other team is where things get interesting.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: He
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: here.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: You've got Jokori Krosky Meret.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: You've got Austin Eccler and those are the two that you're even thinking about throwing into your lineup.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: Eccler, I think we know what we're getting here.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be a shaky flex for me.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's a guy that's going to get three to five targets, five to eight calories, maybe end up between 50 and 60 yards.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: Could
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: ended up getting into the end zone every third game or show.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: You're not excited to play him, but like you could do worse in a PPR league.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: He saw about 40% of the snaps in week one, JCM was only around 30% of the snaps, but big bill I think is going to start icing out.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: Jeremy McNickles almost completely soon.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: He had the sound run, he had the nice 40-yard caper at the end of the game there against the Giants.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: This is a tougher defense in Green Bay, obviously, so I do want to tamper expectations, especially until we get like a full feel that this backfield is now completely kind of separated into just Eccler and Jekorey crosskeeper right here.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: So for now, he's going to be in the shaky flex category.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: If I had to choose between the two, I actually would start Bill over Austin Eccler, but I don't feel super duper confident about either of them on my lineup for the time
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Also, I know I see the comments of it being a little bit tough to read on mobile and I don't think there's going to be anything I can do about that there's obviously a lot of information on the screen a lot of you guys want to be able to see all the tears at once so I will present this option to you guys I can make the screen a lot smaller here and you can kind of see everyone at once but that almost like absolutely destroys the readability on mobile and some laptop screen so like look at the way it is right now.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: Would you prefer this if you're watching on TV or laptop or the normal version that I kind of just had up here?
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to keep it to this for the remainder of the video.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: You guys, you know, drop it in the comments below.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: And if there's a lot of people that like the really small version of it, which I'll show you at the end again when everybody's actually on the screen, so you could get a better feel for it.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: And then I'll make a change tomorrow in the wider receiver version of this if you guys like the other way better.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: So moving on to game number two, the Sunday slate of games.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to have any practice reports.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately for Sunday yet, they come out later in the day on Wednesday, but I think this one is pretty clear cut like Chase Browns going to go into the Mustard category had basically every single touch out of that back.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: backfield.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: This is a game.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: The bangles are playing at home.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: It is a 48 and a half point total against the Jaguars.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: There are three and a half point favorites.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: So we are expecting a lot of points on both sides.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how confident I feel about that based on the way that like Jacksonville's offense looked in week one.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: But regardless, we had the major breakout from Travis CTN in week one.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: They ship tank bakes be off to Philadelphia.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: So you've got this like mix of base all two and then look when Alan behind Travis E.T.N.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: However, like you can't play those guys, of course, but E.T.N.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: I mean based on the way he looked and what his usage projects to be I just don't see a world where in this matchup if it was a tougher matchup I wouldn't throw him right into the top category, but he's gonna actually land into the I like I don't see a world where Travis E.T.N.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: is not a top
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: 15 running back this week based on workload based on matchup based on his usage based on the fact that he's going to catch passes there, you know, again, if it was against maybe Houston's defense or Baltimore's defense or something like that, he'd range more in the middle of the feels good Doug Flex category, but for this week, I just again, I don't see a world where you don't start Travis ETN.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to the New York Giants at the Dallas Cowboys for Dallas.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: We have Javante Williams, who was operating as the workhorse for the Dallas Cowboys in week one.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: He ended up scoring two touchdowns.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: Style line wasn't overly encouraging.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: It was like 15 for 50 in that range.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's going to be a decent amount of like the games that we see out of Javante Williams and Dallas.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: If they get onto the goal line, though, he's going to score a decent amount of touchdowns.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: As the workhorse, I mean, I think Jerry Jones came out and said that he expects Jd on blue to be inactive again, so it's just going to be Jd on Williams and Miles Sanders again.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, it's Jd on days back, feel completely until it's otherwise.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: So Jd on days going to be a feels good for me.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: I feel in this matchup, I feel good about having him in my RB2 slot, and as you could see from the matchup ranks on the bottom here, the Giants have the third worst EPA per rush after week one.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: The other side of the ball is a little bit interesting.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: Tyrone Tracy, I know he had a really, really poor game in week 1 against Washington, production wise.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: He still saw about 75% of the snaps and did operate as a clear workhorse.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: The question becomes whether or not Andrew Thomas's back on the line and if this offense can move the ball like whatsoever.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I do saw a confidence in Tracy's workload, but I have very little confidence in
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: the Giants ability to move the ball effectively and keep drive sustained and allow him to, you know, have holes that open up.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: So this is going to be you're going to have to keep an eye on practice reports as it relates to Andrew Thomas.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: Andrew Thomas is just one of those tackles where like the team splits are outrageously different depending on whether or not he's on the field.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: So for right now, I like the match against Alice.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's seeming like it's going to be a lot better of a matchup than what Washington is going to be this year.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: But I can't say I feel overly confident about it.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to put him in the shaky flex category.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Although I do think I'll probably put him around the top of the tier, given the fact that we can have some good confidence in the percentage of snap, she's going to play in that backfield.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: Scatobo is like a 10% snap guy right now.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: So again, until we see otherwise there, there's no way you could put him in your lineup.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to Chicago at Detroit, another one-to-clock game we've got Detroit at home.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: They are five and a half point favorites.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: The over-under in this game is 46 and a half points.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: Tough to get a read on that NFC North right now.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like Green Bay is the dominant team there, but it's week one.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: So we don't want to over-react Detroit look like they lost a lot of their sauce without Ben Johnson, but again, they sold a very talented roster.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: So not another one I want to overreact to in week one, but it does seem we need to temper our expectations that being said, Jimmy or Gibbs, of course, is in must start because he is a firework anytime he touches the ball.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: They have my government's the other interesting one where it feels like he's going to start to take a little bit of a back seat if they can't get their ground game going, like he had Gibbs catch 10 passes.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: In this one, they were trailing for the majority of the games.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't expect that to be the case, the entire time.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think Minnesota looked relatively good on the ground against Chicago, Jordan Mason was able to effectively get some yards.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they were like overly efficient.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: Aaron Jones did get it going in the passing game.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: So that does give us a little bit of hope for a guy like you, mere Gibbs.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: So, Demont, I mean, you know, just based off of last game, based off the way that the lines were not able to move the ball, based off the way that they're off into flying, just got pushed around.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to go into the shaky flex category for me.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm not putting them in the dub flex because I don't feel that great about owning him.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: But that being said, they are still five and half point favored.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: So let's try to look at these games objectively, right?
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like, let's try to not over react week one and say, hey, Detroit, they're still a run first team.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: They're a team that is nearly
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: and the game totals almost 47 points, so Dave and Montgomery, I think you could absolutely still flex despite the way that last week's game turned out.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: Chicago, Rochon Johnson did not play in week 1, calm and on guy played a little bit, but got zero calories, got involved in the pasting game with like a target or two, but
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: It was all the Andre Swift's in that backfield.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't good, the wrong game wasn't good, the offensive line didn't look great.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, the volume is crazy.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm kind of looking at Swift the same way I looked at Tony Pollard against Denver last week, where it's like, you know the matchups going to be tough.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know he's going to get a lot of volume.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: You know he's probably going to have like 20 touches for 70 yards on the ground.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he gets in maybe not.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: I do think whether or not Rochon plays, which is another practice report, we're going to have to keep an eye on, will be something that impacts the total workload of
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: But if he doesn't play, I, again, I still think the answer is probably in for 20 touches or so will be relatively involved in the passing game and I don't feel terrible about having swift in my lineup, so I'm going to put him into the dub flex category, even though I think you could make the case that he should be in the field's good category, but Detroit's run defense is going to be pretty good.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: They, they pretty much stifled Josh Jacobs last week, got a big workload out into the end zone, so it's fantasy day.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: was safe, but I don't think he was overly efficient on the ground and the underswifters like the opposite of being efficient on the ground, but it was clear that last game they did not want to give any carries to Kyle and on guys.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: So it still seems like it's completely swift backfield and still otherwise.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: So you can obviously still start.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, still a guy is going to get a ton of touches.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: The Patriots at the Miami Dolphins.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: It is basically a pickup there in Miami, it's a 43 and a half point total, which actually really surprised me because I think these two teams are set to score a decent amount of points in this game.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of my plays of the week is the over on this game.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: I want to check the weather just to make sure there wasn't supposed to be like thunderstorms or whatever, but it's supposed to be 85 and sunny here.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously Miami looked like an absolute fucking tragedy in week one.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: And it's unfortunate if you drafted their passing offense, but I also don't think too is like a turnover machine, right?
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's not a guy that's going to go out there and turn them all over three times a game.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: Typically, I think that was a little bit more of an outlier.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like I do think their offense is going to be bad, but I don't think the way that the time of possession ended up being for Miami last week is going to be.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: any normal.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: It was like 38 to 21, which is way more lopsided than any normal NFL game.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I do think they're going to be able to move the ball.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Patriots defense is very good.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to be good against the round game regardless like Devon HN.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: There's no chance you take him out of your line up.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: But as you can see, like their EPA against the rush, they are one of the toughest in the NFL to run against with Christian Barmar back with Milton Williams.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: They're Harold Landry out there.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like they have some players that are making plays out there and really making a tough running backs.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: Something going on with Tyree Kill, more domestic stuff.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not sure if he's playing this one.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm assuming he will, but maybe not.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: The other side of the ball is what we're really talking about here.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: You got Remandre, you got Travy on Hendersonstein.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: Last week, Remandre out snapped him.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: It was like 65 to 35.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: in terms of percentage and that was kind of like what we predicted throughout the summer at least to start the season.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that's going to remain the case.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: Trevon's got a nice floor though as the pass catching back like he caught six passes last week and I think that really matters to me and I think this Miami past defense is going to be so, so, so, so, so, so bad and it's a reason why I actually feel good about starting Trevon Henderson.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel bad about starting Ramanjre Stevenson either.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to get enough work.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a good chance they find themselves on the goline and that there's a good chance he's the pure goline back here.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, I don't feel great about having him in my flex.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like as a starter here.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not going to go as far as putting him into the dub flex category.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to go into the shaky flex.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: But again, like the other guys in this category, I think you could do a lot worse.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I haven't been putting any of these other ones into like the rather not category, but I think that goes without saying the Oligore and the Antonio Gibson's that kind of stuff.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it might seem weird that Traveon, despite playing 35% of the snaps to Remondry 65% is in the dub flex.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: I just think Miami defense is kind of prime to allow explosive plays.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I think this is a game where Traveon Anderson gets in space and has one of them.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Buffalo at the New York.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: Jets.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: So we have the New York Jets coming out and just looking like every other teams looked in the AFC East for the last 20 years except for the New York Jets.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, Bryce Hall looked like what he looked like two years ago, three years ago.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: completely different player than what he looked like last year.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: It was crazy.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: At this point like, you got to feel phenomenal about having Breeze Hall.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: The one problem is, of course, that he's not going to score rushing touchdowns, right?
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: And he needs those big plays and he needs the volume.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: He needs, you know, 15, 18, 20 touches and he needs to be involved in the passing game.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: Justin feels he's going to take so much rushing work.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: We also saw Braille on Allen get the touchdown inside the 10 yard line.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: So that puts him more into the field's good category, but I still feel
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: James Cook, we saw him play a ton on third downs as well, so if he becomes more and more involved in the passing game, I mean, I just don't see a world where you're not starting James Cook in this one.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: The bills are 7 point favorites.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's a 46 and a half point total.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: They should probably dominate game scripts.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: Not much else to say here.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: This is not a brilliant Alan Gamescript game, so I'm going to put him into the rather not category.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to Seattle at Pittsburgh, and this might be one of the tougher games to decipher on the entire slate as it relates to fantasy running backs.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll start with Seattle, definitely concerning if you're a Kenneth Walker owner.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: It, you know, it's one of two things like, this game was never out of hand.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: This was not a game script thing where they were like X-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-AX-
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe that foot injury he's been dealing with is a little bit more severe than we were led on to believe throughout the summer, you know, who's resting multiple practices at a time.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: Regardless, they clearly like that as actual, but you don't like accidentally play a guy 60% of the time to Kenneth Walker's 40% when Kenneth Walker is as talented as he is.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: There's something going on there.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: They either think very highly of Charbon A, they either think Walker's hurt, they either think, you know, they're the same level of talent or as Charbon A fits their offense.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: Something's going on there.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: Sharbernae had more snaps, he had more rush attempts, he ran more routes, he was playing on the short-down and distance rolls inside the 5-yard line, he got the goal line carries long down in distance.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like, a lot of it was Sharbernae, man, Kenneth Walker got a lot of bullshit, and I will say, like, the offensive line as a whole didn't know favors, like Kenneth Walker was getting hit as soon as he touched the ball, but that's just the reality of the situation right now.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: Until they improve as an offensive line, it's going to be hard to make the case for Kenneth Walker when he's splitting a backfield 50-50, so for right now against Pittsburgh,
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: I guess maybe they're not that good of a run defense, you know, you think of Pittsburgh as this fucking solid defense that you can't do anything against and the jets literally were allowed to do whatever they want it through the air on the ground, whatever.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe the matchup isn't that good, but trying to predict the back of the right now, I think you have to put sharp and a end can't walk or both in the shaky flex category like would it surprise anyone if one of them ended up.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: having a good game or scoring a touchdown or Walker broke out along run.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: No, of course not.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I actually would rank Walker above Sharbenet and maybe that's going to look foolish at the end of the day and maybe that's going to be like a, you know, just a fucking sheep take in a couple of weeks.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: But for now, I think I'm going to hold strong with him.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: But he's in the shaky flex category where I don't feel great about starting him.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like until we get a clear picture on a week to week basis, it's very, very hard to set either of these guys in your lineup.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: On the Pittsburgh side of things, I mean Caleb Johnson was completely ice, so you're not playing him at all.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: Kind of the game well, I get it.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: He played a lot of snaps.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: He caught some passes.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: He's almost like a watered down version of Austin Eccler, which I don't know if I could find something more disrespectful to say about a player at this point.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: in the rather not category for me.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Warren, I mean, this is going to be a tough Seattle defense to really move the ball against like Christian McAfrey got a ton of work, but he wasn't overly efficient by any means.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: Not on the ground, he got a lot of pass catching work.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think Jalen Warren will continue to work more and more into this offense and become a bigger part of the offense over Kenneth Gainwell.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: He did get into the end zone.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: They've got his lines right now at 41 and a half rushing yards, 12 and a half receiving yards.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna throw him into the shaky flex category.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: Again, just shaky flex is like, guys, you can flex, guys that are in the conversation there, but you just don't feel great about it.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: Cleveland at Baltimore, yeah, I think we're gonna go ahead and probably start Derek Henry's a pretty good ball player.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's fine.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's just entering his prime with a time to be alive.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side of things, we've got, I don't think Quenchon Jenkins is gonna play.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: If that changes things up, obviously, this is gonna become a little bit more irrelevant, and Jenkins is gonna make his way into line up and become a player, but I'm not gonna play him.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: So what do I mean, the rather not for now?
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side of things, your own Ford is a zero he's literally dead to me.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: Dylan Samson though, 20 touches in week,
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: one.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like 8 catches, Joe Flacco is just a check down merchants.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: We have Cleveland at Baltimore.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: They are in Baltimore.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: Baltimore is 11 and a half point favorites right now.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: 45 and a half point total.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: So unsurprisingly, they are expecting the game script to be just Baltimore Baltimore Baltimore Baltimore and a little bit more Baltimore on the side.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: So that does favor the game script of the Browns and Joe Flacco, you know, checking down to Dylan Samson.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to, I'm, Dylan Samson's a really tough one to rank this week because I do think he probably has a floor similar to like Trayvon Henderson where he's going to likely see five to six receptions in this game.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: The rushing though, you know, he went what 12 or 24 on the ground last week.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: I know Baltimore led up a lot of yards to the Buffalo offense, but Buffalo's offense and Josh Allen are tremendous, and I think Baltimore's defense been a couple of weeks.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: All of these numbers are going to turn red, and they're going to be one of the most feared defenses in the NFL.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: So as much as I want to be on the hype of Dylan Stampson's week one, I do think it would be more responsible to put him into the tier with guys like,
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Tyrone Tracy and JCM.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably at the top of the deer because I do think he has a really nice floor in PPR, but I am hesitant to throw him into the category where I'm like, yeah, he's just going to be awesome for me going forward because of the match with this was a better matchup.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_00]: I feel a lot better about him.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: He definitely be in the Delphlex category, but I don't want to underrate what the Baltimore defense might be able to do to Cleveland in this game.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: We got the Los Angeles Rams at Tennessee.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: The Rams are five and a half point favorites.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: 41 and a half point total here pretty ugly out here, right?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: We got Kyron Williams.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: He's just going to go into the Mustard category.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: No one else behind him is getting any work.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you're going to put Tony Pollard in the same category.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be similar to last week where they play against Denver who's a really good run defense.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: The Rams are
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: The ribs are like a pretty good run defense, but they're probably a little bit better against the past, so I'm not overly concerned about the matchup for Tony Pollard.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like he'll get, you know, again, the 20 touches.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm gonna put them into the feels good category for right now.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: And so we see Tennessee's offense really break out.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: We'll have to wait on the upside of Pollard.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: San Francisco at New Orleans, you got New Orleans at home.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: They are four and a half point underdogs.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_00]: Feels like a low number.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: Feels like a little bit of a trap play, but I guess we're still waiting on word from Brock Perti.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: George Kittal is out.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: John Jennings could be out in this one too.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: So they are they are missing a lot of players.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess I understand why this spread is that low.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: It is a 42 and a half point total.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: This one's kind of clear cut.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: Christian McCaffrey, of course, is going to the Mustard category.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to ride them until the wheels fall off.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: Brian Robinson, I mean, he did get 10 touches in this one, and this should be a game script where they do want to carry the ball a lot.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they look back at last week, and they're like, this is not sustainable for Christian McCaffrey getting him 30 touches.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: And we do want to give Brian Robinson a little bit more work as the season progresses, and he gets a little more comfortable with the offense and the scheme and the plays and all that kind of stuff.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, I mean, you can't really put him in your lineup right now.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's in a rather not, but I got to be honest.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably closer to the shaky flex.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he's in the middle there, but still, you know, you're not, you're not trying to start Bryan Robinson right now.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: Alan Kamara, a little bit of a disappointing day last week, but we're not going to overthink this one.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: Tough matchup, but he is still the workhorse there in New Orleans.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to go into the field's good category moving into the afternoon slate of games.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Denver at.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: Indianapolis.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Denver as two and a half point favorites, 42 and a half point total here.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Denver is just going to be a very, very ferocious run defense.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: We do have some interesting storylines in this one.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: We have Daniel Jones coming off of an absolutely tremendous first game stealing two goal line scores from Jonathan Taylor.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: But JT, I believe he played like 43 of the first 43 snaps for the Indianapolis Colts.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: You know, no surprise there.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: This is, again,
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: for the ground game of the Indianapolis Colts.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: And with Daniel Jones stealing some go-line work, I think I'm gonna put JT into the feels good category.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, at the very, very top of it.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: And there's no real world where you're actually sitting him.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe it's, you were just, you know, talking for the sake of fucking yapping at this point.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: But I just wanna say like, when you do see my rankings come out, again, you can get them on bdge.co.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: JT is gonna be much closer to the bottom of the must-art early feels good to hear than he will in the middle of the must-art to your.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: Other side of the ball you got Dobbins and you've got RJ Harvey and the cults last week despite dominating the Miami Dolphins as you could see here, they had the second worst EPA per Rush on the ground.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: One game sample size, so again, we're not going to lose our minds here.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: I do think Denver's ground game will get better and better as the course of the season goes on.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think Bownex played a terrible game and we'll also get a little bit better as the season progresses.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: Dobbins got the majority of the carries in this one.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: He ended up getting into the end zone, which kind of saved his day.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: And RJ Harvey didn't play too much.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: Only 30% of the snaps didn't get a lot of touches.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think get a lot of carries.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: But he did break off that 50 yard run towards the end of the game, which I do think is something that just earns you more play time.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll see this split get closer and closer as of the year progresses.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: You have Tyler Biday who is in there as like the past catching back for the beginning part of the game.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully he just gets iced out by RJ Harvey completely.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: I can't say that with confidence, so unless we feel like Harvey's past blocking ability has gotten much better, which I don't know that I could say that.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: So for right now, I'm actually going to put both of them feels weird to do this.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm put both of them into the into the shaky flex category.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: Dobbins, much closer to the top.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: with Harvey probably settling on the bottom until we see an actual workload increase.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like if a guy is getting less than 10 touches per game, you can't really feel great about him.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to Carolina at Arizona.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to overthink this one.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: This is going to be James Connery into the Mustard category.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like the Panthers run defense might just be, I mean, last year they were all time bad.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: They were like the worst run defense we've ever seen.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: And it doesn't look like they're getting any better as we saw Travis CTN ripped him apart last week.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: Trey Benson got involved a little bit and this is a good game script like they are six and a half point favorites the cardinals are and it's a 44 and a half point total, so I'm actually going to throw Trey Benson into the shaky flex tier like I think he's semi usable kind of in the same vein that I was saying with Brian Robinson Jr.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: but I feel more I guess concrete about Trey Benson's role like he is playing a lot on a lot of the third down, so he is playing in some passing situations and again,
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: If game script gets out of hand and they give James Conner 20 carries, I bet some of those were overflow into Benson's hands and maybe the game gets out of hand to the point where they're using him on the goal line instead of Conner, like towards the end and you can get in there for a touchdown.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you could do worse than him, but obviously I'm not like trying to start him.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: Chuba Hubbard.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's going to go into the field's good category.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: Got almost every single touch in that backfield last week.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Arizona Cardinals defense is probably pretty good here, but they're not really doing anything that Rico doubt or Trevor E. T. N. Chuba Hubbard is the guy that they trust incredibly here.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: So, Chuba Hubbard's field good for sure.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_00]: Filly at KC, of course, we're going to say, come on into the must start tier.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody else, I mean, like cream hunt for sure, rather not, you know, I don't think I don't
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: As they put Czechos at really tough on man, like they really split this backfield kind of exactly how we were talking about it over the course of the summer.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: But Czecho 48% of the SNAP's cream hunt 40% brush arts myth 14% I mean, they were all running around.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: They were all getting calories.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: They were all in different plays and different situations here.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_00]: These are Pachecos lines for the upcoming game, almost two to one, discord, touchdown 34 and a half rushing yards, eight and a half receiving yards, one and a half receptions.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: I do think with all these players out those Xavier worthy, Rashi Rice, there's a chance that maybe that you utilize the running back a little bit more in the passing game.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, I don't think you can look at Pachecos anything more than a shaky flex, and even then I feel a little bit gross.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's almost closer to the rather not category, but
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to something that football, we have got the Atlanta Falcons at the Minnesota Vikings.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: The Falcons are four and a half point dogs.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: This is a 44 and a half point total.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: The genre of course going right into the Mustard category, Tyler Algiers in the rather not.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: Now, does get a little bit interesting here with the Minnesota Vikings running backs.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_00]: You've got Aaron Jones, who was basically operating as the wide receiver three.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: If not like the wide receiver two in this offense with JJ McCarthy, and then Jordan Mason as the
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Jones couldn't really get much going on the ground.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: They put Mason in as like the the big bruising workhorse guy, which is kind of what we expected throughout the summer and that just came to fruition here.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the Falcons defense is we're okay against the run.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's one you need to shy off of I'm going to put Aaron Jones for sure into the dub flex category.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think he looked good enough.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to get involved in the receiving game enough, especially when Jordan Addison is out.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think, you know, this is a game in the dome.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: This could be a little bit higher scoring than anticipated.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: So Jones is going to go into the dub flex.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: Mason's not far off there.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to throw him into the shaky flex category because realistically he needs to get a goal line carry like he's not going to be very involved in the passing game.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: So we need to get him inside the two-year-old inside three-year-old line and then also they need to run the ball down there.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a little bit too much of a split with him not getting too many of the valuable touches for me to throw him into the dub flex category so far.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we have two Monday night games in week two.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_00]: I hate when they do this shit, but nonetheless, they do it.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_00]: They've got the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Houston.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: Houston is two and a half point favorites at home.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: 42 and a half point total.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: And this was one of my concerns with current Williams last week, which we bet the under on we nailed that in our big day parlay.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: The Texans run game is really, really their defense against the run is really, really, really strong.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, again, I just don't see a world where you could ever sit.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: Bucky Irving, he has really transformed into the guy that we wanted him to be in year two in terms of, like, just overall playtime.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: 77% of the snaps compared to Rashadweights 25%s.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: Bucky saw 78% of the carries through Rashadweights 11.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: He also ran, which is most important, 57% of the routes compared to Rashadweights 22%.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: End played in the two and four-minute drill situations.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: So, great usage for Bucky Irving.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: Outside of that, there's no one that I want to play, Nick Chubb is going to get the carries, but he's going to go, what he did last week, 13 for 60, not involved in the passing game, does use and find themselves on the goal line.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_00]: Possibly, I think the Tampa Bay Bucks run defense can be okay, especially with video Viva Viva in the middle.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_00]: He gets the volume, so I'm going to throw him into the shaky flex category, but very much at the bottom of it for Nick Chubb.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: And then the last game of the slate we've got the chargers at the Raiders, the chargers are three and a half point favorites.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: They're on the road.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: It is a 46 and a half point total here.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: The only two running backs we were talking about are Ashton, Gen.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: E and I'm Ryan Hampton.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_00]: The two first round rookies battling it off.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: You let us see it.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: Jenty, 19 carries in the first one, not efficient whatsoever on the ground, but that was an offensive line problem.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they gave him absolutely no push.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: He was getting eaten behind the line of scrimmage, and I, you know, I don't think the chargers are necessarily easy matchup for, for running back, despite them being right number one at EPA per rush.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: in terms of friendly matchups to running back position, but I'm not going to overthink it, Gentie's going to be a 20-touch guy, so you're going to go into the field's good category, but very much in that Jonathan Taylor tier where it's like, you know, I put him in the field's good category, but like you're you're starting him, of course.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Ryan Hampton, love the usage in week one, dominated the snaps looked relatively good.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the usage was spicy.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_00]: 80% of snaps, 83%
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: 100% of the short-downed distance snaps 80% of the long-downed distance snaps.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: We just need some gold line carries out there.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: Herbert was simply just like too good.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: He was just dicing him up through the air to a level that didn't allow the running backs to really shine in this one.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I think against the Raiders, they'll get a gold line carrier too.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_00]: So Martin Hampton is going to be a guy filled really, really good about that being said, I do think
- 27:29[SPEAKER_00]: think that's he Harris again as he gets more condition.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: It gets back into football shape.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think this will go from an 80 20 split to something closer to like 70 30 68 32 in that range.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm already having been still going to be a really strong player to throw into your line.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: I feel really good about him this week.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to go into the feels good again, but at the top of that category.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: So that's all the games for you.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: I will zoom out to show you what I was talking about in terms of seeing all the tears at once.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: So this is like the full screenshot of the rankings.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said at the beginning of the video, if you guys prefer this view more so, I know this is gonna be literally impossible to see on mobile, but maybe this is better for laptop or computer, TV, desktop, whatever, you guys let me know.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: I know this is like it's nicer to be able to see everyone at once, but when you're ranking 50 players, it's tough to make everybody happy out here, but
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm only one Jolly Old St.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: Nicholas trying to do my best.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you guys for hanging out with me today.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: As always, tomorrow will be the same thing, just the wide receiver version of it.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoyed the video, make sure you hit the thumbs up button, subscribe to the channel, and if you want my rankings which will be going live later today, that is BGE.co become a big dog member.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_00]: I love y'all.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm out.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: Smoochies.
