  SPEAKER_00: You see, for me, I struggle finding what my true passion is.

  SPEAKER_00: I've started so many businesses and I have failed so many times and I have made so many mistakes.

  SPEAKER_00: I think because I wasn't true to who I am or what I believe in.

  SPEAKER_00: I was focusing more of how I can make money.

  SPEAKER_00: And I got into a lot of different businesses trying to make money.

  SPEAKER_00: And I have also failed many times.

  SPEAKER_00: You see, I was chasing the wrong things and I didn't care about the consequences.

  SPEAKER_00: So let me just rewind a little bit.

  SPEAKER_00: I was a stay at home mom.
• 2:24
  SPEAKER_00: And I started my online draft shipping business.
• 2:29
  SPEAKER_00: You see, back then it was different.

  SPEAKER_00: There was no Shopify, there was no Amazon, and there wasn't really that many people selling online.

  SPEAKER_00: So my business was killing it.
• 2:40
  SPEAKER_00: I was making a lot of money from home.
• 2:43
  SPEAKER_00: I was making thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands in a day.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was quite happy in the beginning.
• 2:55
  SPEAKER_00: But then somehow my priorities changed.
• 2:58
  SPEAKER_00: I started thinking about how can I double, triple my profit, my income.

  SPEAKER_00: And so I thought that opening up a retail store, a traditional business, is the way to go.

  SPEAKER_00: Because remember, there was really not many people selling online.
• 3:16
  SPEAKER_00: The shipping is quite expensive too.
• 3:20
  SPEAKER_00: opened my retail store and I put so much time and money into running this store and then things happened, recession happened.

  SPEAKER_00: People were losing their jobs and they weren't spending money.
• 3:35
  SPEAKER_00: So my overhead was really high, it was really, it was too much and yet we weren't making that much profit.

  SPEAKER_00: So I thought I should get another business just to supplement this retail business.

  SPEAKER_00: So I started another business.
• 3:56
  SPEAKER_00: The problem was that business turned into a career.

  SPEAKER_00: So I was focusing more into this business.

  SPEAKER_00: I was putting in more time and energy.

  SPEAKER_00: And so I thought I should cut my losses and close my retail store.

  SPEAKER_00: So I did.

  SPEAKER_00: And now I was just focusing on this one business and somehow it turned into lifestyle, into showing lifestyle.

  SPEAKER_00: So I was just living grand, you know, big life, even when I wasn't making that much money.

  SPEAKER_00: So to make the story short, mistakes after mistakes, and I was getting further and further away from my true passion.

  SPEAKER_00: I was in so much debt that I maxed out all my credit cards and we remortgaged our home.

  SPEAKER_00: It's just to the point where I didn't even know where to get the money to pay my bills or to eat.

  SPEAKER_00: But the most devastating part of all that time was losing my family.

  SPEAKER_00: But that was another story, so it's a long story.

  SPEAKER_00: But anyway, during that dark moment, it felt like the whole world just crashed down on me.

  SPEAKER_00: It's like this heavy loads that I couldn't lift.

  SPEAKER_00: I didn't know how to get out of it.

  SPEAKER_00: I didn't know how to move forward.
• 5:28
  SPEAKER_00: But I wasn't going to quit because I'm not a quitter.

  SPEAKER_00: So I started searching my soul and I started praying and talking to God.

  SPEAKER_00: And I started...

  SPEAKER_00: believing all the great plans that He has for my life.

  SPEAKER_00: And then God started directing my path and started opening up doors after doors after doors for me.

  SPEAKER_00: And then soon I have found my true passion.

  SPEAKER_00: I started helping people.

  SPEAKER_00: I started serving people and just giving values.

  SPEAKER_00: And then soon after that, I started making money.

  SPEAKER_00: Then I realized it's really not about money.

  SPEAKER_00: It's really about loving what you do and your true passion.

  SPEAKER_00: And so that's how I started Passionista Entrepreneurs.

  SPEAKER_00: It's helping people find their passion.

  SPEAKER_00: And like I said, I help them start their business and scale their business to the next level.

  SPEAKER_00: So Thomas Edison said when he was asked about his failed attempts at creating a light bulb, he said, I have not failed.

  SPEAKER_00: I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

  SPEAKER_00: You see, I wanted to help people because why go through all the hassles and risk when we can help you?

  SPEAKER_00: And that is why I decided to start this show because you could simply just listen and learn from other passionistas entrepreneurs who successfully turned their passion into profit and skip all the failures and just go straight into succeeding your first try.
