- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey dummy, if you get free roses, it's a trap.
- 0:04Speaker 1: War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
- 0:07Speaker 1: and Rich.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Alright, it's time for War of the Roses. Josh thinks
- 0:11Speaker 2: his wife is cheating on him.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Am I right, Josh?
- 0:14Speaker 4: That's right, man.
- 0:15Speaker 3: What's the story behind that?
- 0:18Speaker 5: Well, if I'm being honest, it's happened before and I've
- 0:23Speaker 5: tried to look the other way. but I'm pretty sure
- 0:27Speaker 5: she went back on a date with the same guy.
- 0:30Speaker 5: His name is Marshall. He's consistently been a problem in
- 0:33Speaker 5: our marriage. She's never been physical with him that I
- 0:39Speaker 5: know of, but there's definitely been an emotional line that's
- 0:42Speaker 5: been crossed, and she promised me she'd cut him off.
- 0:47Speaker 2: And a few nights.
- 0:49Speaker 5: Ago, my friend's wife saw the two of them alone
- 0:52Speaker 5: at a restaurant together, on a day that my wife told.
- 0:56Speaker 6: Me she was out with her girls.
- 0:57Speaker 7: Well, that's a full on bust. Isn't it already?
- 1:01Speaker 8: When you said back on a date, she like has
- 1:03Speaker 8: gone on a date with this guy before where you
- 1:04Speaker 8: guys separated or something.
- 1:05Speaker 9: What's the story with the first date with them?
- 1:07Speaker 6: Uh, it would be like, I don't know.
- 1:09Speaker 2: They're close from work.
- 1:11Speaker 5: Um, and I, I think that they probably just, it
- 1:16Speaker 5: crossed like an emotional boundary. Um, And I kind of,
- 1:20Speaker 5: I like, I went through some texts and caught them
- 1:23Speaker 5: like making plans to hang.
- 1:26Speaker 6: Out and confronted her.
- 1:27Speaker 5: And she said she definitely crossed the.
- 1:29Speaker 6: Line and was going to back off.
- 1:30Speaker 8: And then lied to you about it?
- 1:34Speaker 5: Yeah. So I've just been kind of letting this percolate
- 1:36Speaker 5: for a couple of days and haven't brought it up
- 1:38Speaker 5: to her.
- 1:40Speaker 7: You said they worked together. Could it have been a
- 1:42Speaker 7: work dinner, like just going over whatever the Ferguson report?
- 1:45Speaker 9: I mean, if you've heard.
- 1:46Speaker 2: The text messages, like.
- 1:48Speaker 7: Exactly. Why lie?
- 1:49Speaker 5: With the girls.
- 1:50Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:51Speaker 11: And plus, if you've already crossed that line, you shouldn't
- 1:53Speaker 11: be going out on any adventures or anything like that
- 1:56Speaker 11: with somebody who you're telling your husband isn't around.
- 2:00Speaker 7: If anybody gets sort of emotionally tied with somebody and
- 2:03Speaker 7: you see that coming, it's hard to hide that, you know,
- 2:06Speaker 7: if you're picking.
- 2:07Speaker 9: Up on that.
- 2:08Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 2:09Speaker 5: I'm hoping that, like, maybe you guys can work with
- 2:13Speaker 5: me and we can do, like, a second date update
- 2:15Speaker 5: situation and say that it's Marshall calling because she thinks
- 2:19Speaker 5: that he's been ghosted by her.
- 2:22Speaker 2: You mean like a War of the Roses, not a
- 2:25Speaker 2: second date update?
- 2:27Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:29Speaker 7: I mean, a second date update. How'd your date go?
- 2:32Speaker 3: Is that what you want us to do?
- 2:34Speaker 7: Oh, it's a twist.
- 2:36Speaker 5: Because, like, I already know that she was out with him. So, like,
- 2:39Speaker 5: if we can, you know.
- 2:41Speaker 7: You just want to know what went down.
- 2:42Speaker 9: Oh, that's interesting.
- 2:43Speaker 5: I just want her to be honest for once in
- 2:46Speaker 5: her life.
- 2:47Speaker 13: Right, because Rich, you said it.
- 2:48Speaker 11: Like, she is already busted. He already knows that she's
- 2:52Speaker 11: being shady with homeboy Marshall.
- 2:53Speaker 7: Yeah, like, let's not have this guy in your life.
- 2:55Speaker 7: He's cut out. They're alone at dinner together.
- 2:57Speaker 14: Right, he just wants answers.
- 2:58Speaker 7: And you don't know about it.
- 2:59Speaker 9: I like it because we're just, like, getting the tea.
- 3:02Speaker 9: But then how do we.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Well, I feel like it should be a war of
- 3:05Speaker 2: the roses, like, the flowers. Because if you see, if
- 3:07Speaker 2: you do, if you call up to do second date updates, Hey,
- 3:10Speaker 2: we have this guy you're getting ghosted. Be like, ghosted?
- 3:12Speaker 2: I was at the dinner with him last night. She's like,
- 3:15Speaker 2: and I'm married. Like, I mean, like, that's what I'm saying.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Like to go, who do you think is sending you flowers?
- 3:20Speaker 7: Listen, we're experts in entrapment here, Josh. And War of
- 3:23Speaker 7: the Roses is the way to do it.
- 3:24Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 3: All right, Josh, we do War of the Roses.
- 3:26Speaker 12: Okay.
- 3:26Speaker 2: We're going to see what we'll do is we're going
- 3:28Speaker 2: to call her up. Kyle's going to pretend to be
- 3:29Speaker 2: from a flower shop and say that she's new on
- 3:32Speaker 2: the job.
- 3:32Speaker 3: She's got quite a few. What's your wife's name?
- 3:35Speaker 6: Courtney.
- 3:35Speaker 12: All right.
- 3:36Speaker 2: So we'll be like, I got a couple of flowers.
- 3:38Speaker 2: You're going to Courtney. Like, who would be sending you flowers?
- 3:42Speaker 2: And that way you can bust her.
- 3:43Speaker 10: That way.
- 3:44Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 3:45Speaker 4: All right.
- 3:45Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Unless you want to wait till Tuesday and we can
- 3:48Speaker 2: do a second date update on Tuesday.
- 3:49Speaker 16: No, no.
- 3:50Speaker 7: I just don't see that working.
- 3:51Speaker 8: And I do think, Josh, this way you kind of, like,
- 3:53Speaker 8: get a peek and decide what's in her heart.
- 3:55Speaker 9: Who does she want to be sending her flowers?
- 3:57Speaker 17: Yep.
- 3:57Speaker 3: All right, so hang tight.
- 3:59Speaker 2: War of the Roses continues next with John Jane Rich.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I don't know how you found us.
- 4:04Speaker 14: But I'm so thankful that you did.
- 4:08Speaker 3: We are in the middle of War of the Roses.
- 4:12Speaker 2: You've got Josh, who thinks his wife Courtney is cheating
- 4:14Speaker 2: with somebody, with a guy named Marshall. And you caught
- 4:17Speaker 2: her before, but she never got intimate with him, right?
- 4:19Speaker 2: You know that for sure, right, Josh?
- 4:21Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 2: But now a friend of yours' wife saw your wife
- 4:26Speaker 2: out to dinner with Marshall, and now you're really concerned.
- 4:29Speaker 2: So we're going to call her, do War of the Roses. Kyle,
- 4:31Speaker 2: are you ready?
- 4:32Speaker 18: I'm ready.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Okay, and Josh, you jump in when you want.
- 4:44Speaker 8: Hello.
- 4:44Speaker 17: Hi there.
- 4:44Speaker 9: Is Courtney available?
- 4:45Speaker 15: This is Courtney.
- 4:47Speaker 17: Perfect.
- 4:48Speaker 19: Hi, Courtney.
- 4:48Speaker 13: So it's kind of your lucky day.
- 4:49Speaker 9: My name is Harley.
- 4:50Speaker 8: I'm brand new with this company called J & R Flowers.
- 4:54Speaker 9: Try to be patient with me.
- 4:55Speaker 8: It's like my second day of the job and I
- 4:56Speaker 8: think I've already kind of messed up.
- 4:58Speaker 9: But I'm calling to confirm.
- 5:00Speaker 8: Delivery for you, which is really great news, which means
- 5:03Speaker 8: somebody is sending you flowers and.
- 5:05Speaker 9: It's really great.
- 5:06Speaker 8: It's actually our fever dream bouquet. So it's someone's really
- 5:08Speaker 8: trying to impress you. But the problem is, is we
- 5:11Speaker 8: actually have two romantic arrangements going out to Courtney's today.
- 5:17Speaker 8: And this is why I'm so embarrassed. And like I said,
- 5:18Speaker 8: please be patient with me. It's only my second day
- 5:20Speaker 8: on the job, but is there, I'm so sorry.
- 5:22Speaker 9: This is so embarrassing.
- 5:23Speaker 8: Do you have any idea who would be sending you
- 5:26Speaker 8: flowers and I can match your name to the correct card.
- 5:29Speaker 9: So you're not getting like a random, like who would
- 5:31Speaker 9: this be from? Okay.
- 5:31Speaker 13: Okay.
- 5:32Speaker 7: Perfect.
- 5:32Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 8: Just let me know. And I'll tell you if we've
- 5:35Speaker 8: got a card from that name.
- 5:37Speaker 15: Yeah, maybe I can help you.
- 5:38Speaker 20: Is there maybe one from Marshall?
- 5:40Speaker 9: Marshall.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Are you kidding me, Courtney?
- 5:46Speaker 21: Josh?
- 5:49Speaker 19: Okay, what the hell?
- 5:51Speaker 15: Why are you on the phone?
- 5:53Speaker 5: Because I stupidly wanted to hear the truth for once.
- 5:57Speaker 5: You lied to me again. You said you cut him
- 5:59Speaker 5: off and your ass got caught again.
- 6:01Speaker 15: Wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 6:04Speaker 7: What is this?
- 6:04Speaker 19: Why are you doing this? Because you lied to my
- 6:07Speaker 19: face and you went to dinner with the one guy
- 6:10Speaker 19: that we've had problems.
- 6:11Speaker 10: With our entire marriage.
- 6:13Speaker 19: Okay.
- 6:14Speaker 22: Oh, my God.
- 6:15Speaker 23: Nope, nope.
- 6:16Speaker 24: Absolutely not.
- 6:16Speaker 21: I am not doing this.
- 6:18Speaker 3: What the heck? Did she hang up?
- 6:19Speaker 9: I was going to say, is she gone?
- 6:20Speaker 16: Did she hang up?
- 6:21Speaker 2: Man, back in the day, you'd get a big old clang.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Now with these new digital phones.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Sorry, Josh.
- 6:27Speaker 9: Wait, she did hang up?
- 6:28Speaker 3: Well, her line's gone.
- 6:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:30Speaker 2: So I would assume she hung up.
- 6:31Speaker 7: Should we call her back?
- 6:31Speaker 3: Well, Josh, your thoughts?
- 6:32Speaker 9: Why does she get so mad?
- 6:34Speaker 2: Josh, your thoughts?
- 6:34Speaker 9: She's guilty.
- 6:36Speaker 5: I mean, we got her.
- 6:39Speaker 10: I'll take the clip, I guess.
- 6:40Speaker 3: All right, hold on.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Call her back.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Let me call her back, Dylan.
- 6:43Speaker 9: Probably not going to pick up.
- 6:45Speaker 16: Hi, Courtney.
- 6:46Speaker 9: It's Harley again.
- 6:48Speaker 17: Oh, no.
- 6:49Speaker 7: She's definitely not going to pick up.
- 6:50Speaker 10: Oh, no.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Is she?
- 6:51Speaker 3: I probably wouldn't.
- 6:54Speaker 13: I wouldn't either.
- 6:54Speaker 7: Unless I started cussing everyone out.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Courtney, can you jump back up? Hey, this is John
- 6:59Speaker 2: Jay and Rich. We do a radio show. You were
- 7:01Speaker 2: just on the air with us. Oh, my God.
- 7:03Speaker 20: Okay, do you all understand how insane this is? This
- 7:07Speaker 20: is such a massive invasion of my privacy. You guys,
- 7:11Speaker 20: you trapped me into a conversation.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Courtney, you lied about where you were and who you
- 7:17Speaker 5: were with, and you keep making me feel like I'm
- 7:20Speaker 5: absolutely insane for questioning you. And I find out the
- 7:23Speaker 5: reason every single time is that I should not be
- 7:26Speaker 5: feeling insane.
- 7:27Speaker 21: You feel crazy?
- 7:28Speaker 25: You have people spying on me.
- 7:31Speaker 5: No one was spying on you. You got caught at
- 7:33Speaker 5: a restaurant with him.
- 7:36Speaker 24: Oh, my God.
- 7:37Speaker 19: Whatever, Josh.
- 7:38Speaker 16: This is humiliating.
- 7:40Speaker 20: I cannot believe you would do this to your own wife.
- 7:44Speaker 5: And I can't believe I keep getting my heart broken
- 7:46Speaker 5: by my own wife. I'm done, Courtney. Like, I am
- 7:50Speaker 5: actually done this time.
- 7:52Speaker 3: So, Courtney, you were at dinner with Marshall, yes, no?
- 7:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Okay, so you're married, yes, no?
- 8:01Speaker 21: Yes.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Okay, just making sure. All right.
- 8:03Speaker 7: And you thought the flowers would be the romantic flowers
- 8:06Speaker 7: from Marshall?
- 8:06Speaker 9: Yeah, I failed the test.
- 8:07Speaker 7: So how is your husband in the wrong here?
- 8:09Speaker 19: My husband is in the wrong because he's airing out.
- 8:12Speaker 20: Our dirty laundry that obviously we need to talk about at,
- 8:15Speaker 20: what is this, a radio station?
- 8:17Speaker 3: Mm-hmm. okay so josh you're done is that what you're
- 8:20Speaker 3: saying yeah.
- 8:21Speaker 5: It's you know okay expect some documents.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Okay all right thank you both for going on air
- 8:27Speaker 2: with us that's war of the roses just talked to
- 8:32Speaker 2: someone whose daughter was bitten by rattlesnake twice 877-937-1047 amanda
- 8:36Speaker 2: yeah what bit you amanda.
- 8:42Speaker 26: I was bit by a big dog, a pressa, at
- 8:45Speaker 26: work when we were trying to lift it onto the
- 8:48Speaker 26: x-ray table.
- 8:48Speaker 7: A pressa?
- 8:50Speaker 2: I've never heard of that.
- 8:52Speaker 27: Yeah, they're like really big dogs.
- 8:54Speaker 26: They can get over 100 pounds. We were doing a
- 8:57Speaker 26: team lift, so there was three of us, and we
- 9:00Speaker 26: went to lift her onto the x-ray table. And she
- 9:03Speaker 26: wasn't showing signs of aggression before.
- 9:05Speaker 27: That, but she was a little aggressive.
- 9:07Speaker 26: In pain and really afraid, and so she turned the
- 9:10Speaker 26: snap at my coworker, and he moved, and then she
- 9:13Speaker 26: turned at me. But she bit my x-ray badge, so
- 9:18Speaker 26: luckily it did, like, bruise pretty bad, but since she
- 9:21Speaker 26: bit the x-ray badge, it didn't, like, pull my skin
- 9:24Speaker 26: very much.
- 9:24Speaker 7: That's a big-looking dog.
- 9:25Speaker 9: But it's a beautiful dog.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Beautiful.
- 9:27Speaker 13: I would feel so safe if that was my pup.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Well, thank you, Amanda. Okay, so dogs are off the
- 9:32Speaker 3: table now. We were talking, let's see. Hello, John Jay
- 9:36Speaker 3: and Rich, hello.
- 9:38Speaker 15: Are you guys giving away the Diamondbacks tickets?
- 9:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it depends.
- 9:40Speaker 2: What did you get bit by?
- 9:43Speaker 15: My daughter got bit by a rattlesnake, actually, not me.
- 9:46Speaker 15: I got bit by a dog in my face when
- 9:48Speaker 15: I was little, a Doberman Pinscher, but it didn't really
- 9:52Speaker 15: leave a bad scar. It actually looks pretty decent. It's
- 9:55Speaker 15: only like a dot on my forehead.
- 9:57Speaker 9: You got lucky then.
- 9:57Speaker 2: How old was your daughter when she got bit by
- 9:59Speaker 2: a rattlesnake?
- 10:00Speaker 15: My daughter was four. Oh, my God. We went to
- 10:02Speaker 15: South Mountain. Yeah, we went to South Mountain here in Phoenix,
- 10:06Speaker 15: and she stepped out of the car. We were all
- 10:08Speaker 15: getting out so we can, you know, explore. And when
- 10:10Speaker 15: she stepped out, there was, I guess, her grandfather parked
- 10:14Speaker 15: right on top of the rattlesnake.
- 10:16Speaker 7: And that rattlesnake was pissed already.
- 10:19Speaker 15: Yeah, he parked right there where he was laying, and
- 10:23Speaker 15: it got her right in her kneecap.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Hold on a second.
- 10:25Speaker 7: I think they're so hard to see, like on the
- 10:27Speaker 7: Arizona dirt.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Dude, rattlesnakes scare the hell out of me. It makes
- 10:30Speaker 2: me not want to go anywhere except in my little area.
- 10:34Speaker 2: You do only go everywhere. No, I mean less than that,
- 10:36Speaker 2: even less than that. I mean, I'm just terrified of rattlesnakes.
- 10:38Speaker 7: The John Jay bubble is not a big bubble.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I'm terrified of rattlesnakes.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Angie, what bit you, Angie?
- 10:45Speaker 16: Yes, hi.
- 10:45Speaker 10: Hi.
- 10:46Speaker 16: Um, I did not get bit by anything. I was
- 10:48Speaker 16: actually attacked by a baby bear.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Well, same thing. I mean, as far as getting bit
- 10:53Speaker 2: or being attacked.
- 10:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:55Speaker 2: It's just when animals, when animals attack. So tell us
- 10:59Speaker 2: the bear story.
- 11:00Speaker 3: What happened there?
- 11:01Speaker 24: Um, okay.
- 11:02Speaker 16: It's kind of embarrassing that I, I'm like, you know what, whatever,
- 11:04Speaker 16: I'm going to go for it. Um, we were at
- 11:07Speaker 16: Lopez Lake in California and I was dating this guy
- 11:10Speaker 16: and he wanted to go camping and I'm not like
- 11:12Speaker 16: an outdoorsy person. Um, And I said, sure, fine, whatever
- 11:15Speaker 16: it was, you know, I was in college and I
- 11:18Speaker 16: figured why not. So we went camping to this place
- 11:20Speaker 16: called Lopez Lake and it had like little mountains and
- 11:23Speaker 16: he ended up inviting his brother and a couple of other,
- 11:26Speaker 16: you know, family members. And it was supposed to be
- 11:29Speaker 16: like a family camping thing. And, um, we, it was
- 11:32Speaker 16: just very like, uh, it was fun, but we, it
- 11:35Speaker 16: was nighttime and we wanted to, you know, do the thing.
- 11:38Speaker 16: And So we went up to the mountains, took a
- 11:41Speaker 16: little hike to get away. And yeah, a little baby
- 11:44Speaker 16: bear comes near me. And this guy that I ended
- 11:48Speaker 16: up marrying, by the way, runs instead of staying still.
- 11:52Speaker 16: I'm like, what the hell? You're from California. And I'm
- 11:53Speaker 16: from Arizona. I figured you would have better, you know,
- 11:56Speaker 16: bear experience.
- 11:57Speaker 7: Wait, he ran towards the bear or away from the bear?
- 12:00Speaker 16: No, he ran away from the bear.
- 12:02Speaker 7: He's like, bear!
- 12:03Speaker 3: Takes off running.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Just leaves the bear.
- 12:06Speaker 16: Just standing there. I remember my brother telling me, if
- 12:10Speaker 16: you ever see a bear, just stay still. So, you know,
- 12:13Speaker 16: I feel the claw on my back. I'm the way
- 12:17Speaker 16: I came into this world, okay?
- 12:19Speaker 12: So....
- 12:21Speaker 16: Just like standing there naked. I feel claw on my
- 12:24Speaker 16: back and I'm like, Oh my God. And this is
- 12:26Speaker 16: how I die. I'm thinking in my head.
- 12:28Speaker 23: Right.
- 12:28Speaker 16: But I don't, I didn't realize that he was running
- 12:31Speaker 16: to get like his brother who had bear spray. It
- 12:35Speaker 16: was horrible.
- 12:36Speaker 23: It was bad.
- 12:37Speaker 16: I mean, I survived obviously, but. Um, it was really embarrassing.
- 12:41Speaker 16: Like this was the first time I met his.
- 12:42Speaker 23: Family and I'm standing there naked.
- 12:43Speaker 16: You know, and afterwards, you know, it was just bad.
- 12:49Speaker 16: It was, I mean, it was a nice camping trip.
- 12:51Speaker 16: That does not sound like a nice camping trip.
- 12:56Speaker 7: That sounds like a date that would not turn into
- 12:58Speaker 7: another date. I mean, it should have been right, but
- 13:00Speaker 7: like he was just, you know, Was he naked?
- 13:05Speaker 16: He was a really good guy. I mean, I guess
- 13:07Speaker 16: I just had dated trash before him, so I was
- 13:09Speaker 16: just like, oh.
- 13:09Speaker 7: He's so nice.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Hey, was he naked when he ran to get help?
- 13:14Speaker 6: Yes.
- 13:15Speaker 2: So that'd be pretty, I mean, if you're his family
- 13:17Speaker 2: and you see him coming in screaming. Naked for bear spray?
- 13:20Speaker 4: Aroused.
- 13:20Speaker 7: What the hell?
- 13:25Speaker 2: I need bear spray. Bear spray doesn't get rid of that.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Did you ever see that show?
- 13:31Speaker 16: They don't talk about it, but in the back of
- 13:33Speaker 16: my head when I'm sitting there at Christmas, I'm just
- 13:35Speaker 16: like going up.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yeah, they know.
- 13:37Speaker 16: They think about it occasionally.
- 13:39Speaker 12: They're like.
- 13:40Speaker 16: Crazy naked bitch that was screaming for help on the
- 13:42Speaker 16: top of the hill.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Angie, don't go away. Hold on a second.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Hold on. Hold on a second.
- 13:46Speaker 6: Hold on.
- 13:46Speaker 7: Whenever I see that show alone, do you watch that show?
- 13:48Speaker 7: It's like Survivor, but you're by yourself. These people deal
- 13:51Speaker 7: with all kinds of stuff like zero degrees, fires. But
- 13:54Speaker 7: whenever there's like a bear near the area, they put
- 13:57Speaker 7: their flare up and they're done. They're not messing with
- 13:59Speaker 7: any bears.
- 14:00Speaker 3: It's a bear, man.
- 14:00Speaker 7: Yeah, I get it. But that's scary.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Armida, what bit you? Or what attacked you?
- 14:06Speaker 28: Okay, so my daughter got bit by a rattlesnake in
- 14:10Speaker 28: Mexico over by the border in Nogales, and they only
- 14:14Speaker 28: had one antivenom there, so my son-in-law had to drive
- 14:18Speaker 28: her to the border, and there was too many cars
- 14:22Speaker 28: in line, so he had to literally bring her across
- 14:24Speaker 28: carrying her and hand her to an agent because he
- 14:27Speaker 28: couldn't cross over, and the ambulance was waiting for her there,
- 14:31Speaker 28: and they had to fly her to Tucson where they
- 14:34Speaker 28: had it because there was no.
- 14:36Speaker 27: Other place there.
- 14:37Speaker 28: But it was a baby rattlesnake.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Those are really dangerous. Trevor, what bit you?
- 14:43Speaker 6: So I've been stung 21 times by scorpions.
- 14:46Speaker 10: It's not intentional.
- 14:48Speaker 16: What?
- 14:49Speaker 7: I think you need to move.
- 14:52Speaker 6: Yeah, right. So my parents lived in the same house
- 14:55Speaker 6: in Paradise Valley. It was an old 1950s house. So
- 14:59Speaker 6: growing up, like, pest control wasn't the best. It was
- 15:01Speaker 6: an old brick house.
- 15:02Speaker 3: So.
- 15:03Speaker 6: Yeah, the first time I was actually sleeping in my
- 15:06Speaker 6: bed where it stung me in the pec and then
- 15:08Speaker 6: on the bicep, just sleeping. The second time I was
- 15:12Speaker 6: going to the bathroom down the hallway and it was
- 15:15Speaker 6: dark and I stepped on one, went to go flip
- 15:17Speaker 6: the light on, stepped on it again before I flipped
- 15:19Speaker 6: the light on. And then the final one, which was
- 15:21Speaker 6: the worst, I was stung by one mom and 16 babies. Yeah,
- 15:27Speaker 6: it was July 19th of, goodness, I don't know. The
- 15:30Speaker 6: only reason I remember the date, it was my brother's birthday.
- 15:33Speaker 6: And my dad asked me to take the trash out,
- 15:34Speaker 6: and I put my foot into his work boot. Sure enough,
- 15:37Speaker 6: they were all in there waiting for me.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Hey, how bad is that? What's it feel like? What's
- 15:41Speaker 2: it feel like to get stung by a scorpion? Can
- 15:43Speaker 2: you compare it to something? Because I'm terrified of those things.
- 15:45Speaker 6: Honestly, it's just like a little bit more of a
- 15:47Speaker 6: bee sting. You do a little Benadryl cream, and you
- 15:49Speaker 6: take some Benadryl, put some ice on it. It's really
- 15:51Speaker 6: not that bad, but it was a combination of all
- 15:53Speaker 6: of them. sent me into a complete shock, my body
- 15:57Speaker 6: into a shock, and I had to go get the
- 15:59Speaker 6: rattlesnake anti-venom at Scottsdale Shea. My eyes were rolling in
- 16:03Speaker 6: the back.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Of my head.
- 16:04Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 16:06Speaker 7: Oh, my goodness.
- 16:08Speaker 6: Yeah, so that was pretty wild.
- 16:10Speaker 7: I wonder if he has superpowers now that he's been
- 16:12Speaker 7: stung so many times.
- 16:13Speaker 9: Yeah, because the babies are the most potent.
- 16:14Speaker 6: You know, if I want to, I can walk upside
- 16:15Speaker 6: down on the ceiling and see.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Right on.
- 16:17Speaker 2: All right, hold on a second, Trevor, hold on. Who
- 16:21Speaker 2: would you give the die magic to?
- 16:22Speaker 12: I don't.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Because Angie was so great.
- 16:24Speaker 9: Angie or Trevor.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Angie, do you want the Diamondback tickets?
- 16:28Speaker 16: I do, if that be.
- 16:30Speaker 3: I just thought, yeah.
- 16:31Speaker 7: I mean, bare naked.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Bare naked.
- 16:35Speaker 14: I just called it bare naked.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Bare naked.
- 16:39Speaker 16: Who would have known that that'd be coming up on
- 16:41Speaker 16: the radio hall, please?
- 16:42Speaker 3: I know.
- 16:43Speaker 2: That's such a great story.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Hold on, Angie.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 16:46Speaker 3: And Trevor, that was a great story, too.
- 16:47Speaker 6: So good.
- 16:48Speaker 2: That was a great story, too, Trevor.
- 16:49Speaker 19: Unbelievable.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Do we have extra Diamondback tickets? Do you want Diamondback tickets, Trevor?
- 16:54Speaker 6: I'd love them. My kids love the D-backs. It's the
- 16:56Speaker 6: best time to go.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 16:57Speaker 10: Okay.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 16:57Speaker 3: We can give you some, too. Way to go. We
- 16:59Speaker 3: got extra tickets.
- 17:00Speaker 7: Hold on.
- 17:00Speaker 9: Yeah, they're playing for the wild card right now, right?
- 17:02Speaker 7: That's exciting.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Can I tell you guys what I was hoping for?
- 17:04Speaker 2: And this person would be the winner. It's on our Facebook, Teresa.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And anyone can call her or Teresa if you can listen.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Teresa was bitten by, get this, an orangutan while walking
- 17:15Speaker 2: to school when I was in kindergarten. In Sacramento, a
- 17:18Speaker 2: workman had it tied to his truck bumper, and I
- 17:20Speaker 2: thought I'd try and feed it.
- 17:22Speaker 7: Bad idea.
- 17:23Speaker 3: She was bit by an orangutan.
- 17:24Speaker 7: Whoa.
- 17:25Speaker 9: That's wild.
- 17:26Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 17:26Speaker 2: So if anyone can get.
- 17:27Speaker 3: A hold of her, she would win, too.
- 17:29Speaker 14: John Jay and Rich. We are like a whole vibe.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Just talked to someone whose daughter was bitten by a
- 17:33Speaker 3: rattlesnake twice.
- 17:34Speaker 4: 877-937-1047.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Amanda. Yeah. What bit you, Amanda?
- 17:42Speaker 26: I was bit by a big dog, a pressa, at
- 17:45Speaker 26: work when we were trying to lift it onto the
- 17:47Speaker 26: x-ray table.
- 17:48Speaker 7: A pressa?
- 17:50Speaker 2: I've never heard of that.
- 17:51Speaker 15: Yeah, they're like really big dogs.
- 17:53Speaker 26: They can get over 100 pounds.
- 17:56Speaker 23: We were doing a team.
- 17:57Speaker 26: Lift, so there was three of us, and we went
- 17:59Speaker 26: to lift her onto the x-ray table. And she wasn't
- 18:03Speaker 26: showing signs of aggression.
- 18:04Speaker 15: Before that, but she was a little aggressive.
- 18:06Speaker 26: In pain and really afraid, and so she turned to
- 18:09Speaker 26: snap at my coworker, and he moved, and then she
- 18:13Speaker 26: turned at me, but she bit my x-ray badge. So
- 18:17Speaker 26: luckily it did, like, bruise pretty bad, but since she
- 18:20Speaker 26: bit the x-ray badge, it didn't, like, pull my skin
- 18:23Speaker 26: very much.
- 18:24Speaker 7: That's a big-looking dog.
- 18:25Speaker 13: But it's a beautiful dog.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Beautiful.
- 18:27Speaker 13: I would feel so safe if that was my pup.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Well, thank you, Amanda. Okay, so dogs are off the
- 18:32Speaker 3: table now. We were talking, let's see.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Hello, John Jay and Rich, hello.
- 18:38Speaker 15: Are you guys giving away the Diamondbacks tickets?
- 18:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it depends.
- 18:40Speaker 2: What did you get bit by?
- 18:43Speaker 15: My daughter got bit by a rattlesnake, actually, not me.
- 18:46Speaker 15: I got bit by a dog in my face when
- 18:48Speaker 15: I was little, a Doberman Pinscher, but it didn't really
- 18:52Speaker 15: leave a bad scar. It actually looks pretty decent. It's
- 18:55Speaker 15: only like a dot on my forehead.
- 18:56Speaker 9: You got lucky then.
- 18:57Speaker 2: How old was your daughter when she got bit by
- 18:58Speaker 2: a rattlesnake?
- 19:00Speaker 15: My daughter was four when we went to the South Mountain. Yeah,
- 19:03Speaker 15: we went to South Mountain here in Phoenix, and she
- 19:06Speaker 15: stepped out of the car. We were all getting out
- 19:08Speaker 15: so we can, you know, explore. And when she stepped out,
- 19:11Speaker 15: there was, I guess, her grandfather parked right on top
- 19:15Speaker 15: of the rattlesnake.
- 19:16Speaker 7: And that rattlesnake was pissed already.
- 19:19Speaker 15: Yeah, he parked right there where he was laying, and
- 19:22Speaker 15: it got her right in her kneecap.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Hold on a second.
- 19:25Speaker 7: I think they're so hard to see, like, on the
- 19:27Speaker 7: Arizona dirt.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Dude, rattlesnakes scare the hell out of me. It makes
- 19:30Speaker 2: me not want to go anywhere except in my little area.
- 19:33Speaker 7: You do only go everywhere.
- 19:35Speaker 2: No, I mean less than that. Even less than that.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I mean, I'm just like terrified.
- 19:38Speaker 7: The John Jay bubble is not a big bubble.
- 19:40Speaker 3: I'm terrified of rattlesnakes.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Angie, what bit you, Angie?
- 19:45Speaker 14: Hi.
- 19:45Speaker 10: Hi.
- 19:46Speaker 16: I did not get bit by anything. I was actually
- 19:48Speaker 16: attacked by a baby bear.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Well same thing i mean as far as getting bit
- 19:53Speaker 2: or being attacked yeah it's just you when animals when
- 19:57Speaker 2: animals attack so tell us the bear story.
- 20:00Speaker 16: What happened there um okay it's kind of embarrassing that
- 20:03Speaker 16: i i'm like you know what whatever i'm gonna go
- 20:04Speaker 16: for it Um, we were at Lopez Lake in California
- 20:08Speaker 16: and I was dating this guy and he wanted to
- 20:11Speaker 16: go camping and I'm not like an outdoorsy person. And
- 20:13Speaker 16: I said, sure, fine, whatever it was, you know, I
- 20:16Speaker 16: was in college and I figured why not? So we
- 20:18Speaker 16: went camping to this place called Lopez Lake and it
- 20:21Speaker 16: had like little mountains and he ended up inviting his
- 20:24Speaker 16: brother and a couple of other, you know, family members.
- 20:28Speaker 16: And it was supposed to be like a family camping thing.
- 20:30Speaker 16: And And we it was just very like it was fun,
- 20:34Speaker 16: but we it was nighttime and we wanted to, you know,
- 20:37Speaker 16: do the thing. And so we went up to the mountains,
- 20:40Speaker 16: took a little hike to get away. And yeah, a
- 20:43Speaker 16: little baby bear comes near me. And this guy that
- 20:48Speaker 16: I ended up marrying, by the way, runs instead of
- 20:51Speaker 16: staying still. I'm like, what the hell? You're from California
- 20:53Speaker 16: and I'm from Arizona. I figured you would have better,
- 20:55Speaker 16: you know, bear experience.
- 20:56Speaker 7: Wait, he ran towards the bear or away from the bear?
- 21:00Speaker 16: No, he ran away from the bear.
- 21:01Speaker 7: He's like, bear!
- 21:02Speaker 3: Takes off running.
- 21:04Speaker 7: Just leaves you there.
- 21:05Speaker 16: I remember him just standing there. I remember my brother
- 21:09Speaker 16: telling me, if you ever see a bear, just stay still. So,
- 21:12Speaker 16: you know, I feel the claw on my back. I'm
- 21:16Speaker 16: the way I came into this world, okay?
- 21:18Speaker 5: So.
- 21:21Speaker 16: Just like standing there naked. I feel claw on my
- 21:24Speaker 16: back and I'm like, Oh my God. And this is
- 21:26Speaker 16: how I die. I'm thinking in my head.
- 21:27Speaker 23: Right.
- 21:28Speaker 16: But I don't, I didn't realize that he was running
- 21:31Speaker 16: to get like his brother who had bear spray. It
- 21:35Speaker 16: was horrible.
- 21:36Speaker 15: It was bad.
- 21:36Speaker 16: I mean, I survived obviously, but, Um.
- 21:39Speaker 23: It was really embarrassing.
- 21:40Speaker 16: Like this was the first time I met his family
- 21:42Speaker 16: and I'm standing there.
- 21:44Speaker 7: Naked.
- 21:45Speaker 24: And afterwards, you know, it was just bad.
- 21:49Speaker 16: It was, I mean, it was a nice camping trip.
- 21:50Speaker 16: That does not.
- 21:51Speaker 7: Sound like a nice camping trip. That sounds like a
- 21:56Speaker 7: date that would not turn into another date. I mean,
- 21:58Speaker 7: it should have been right, but like he was just,
- 22:00Speaker 7: you know, Was he naked?
- 22:04Speaker 16: He was a really good guy. I mean, I guess
- 22:06Speaker 16: I just had dated trash before him, so I was
- 22:08Speaker 16: just like, oh.
- 22:09Speaker 7: He's so nice.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Hey, was he naked when he ran to get help?
- 22:14Speaker 17: Yes.
- 22:15Speaker 2: So that'd be pretty, I mean, if you're his family
- 22:17Speaker 2: and you see him coming in screaming.
- 22:18Speaker 7: Are you good for bear spray?
- 22:20Speaker 14: Aroused.
- 22:20Speaker 3: What the hell?
- 22:25Speaker 2: I need bear spray. Bear spray doesn't get rid of that.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Do you ever see that show?
- 22:31Speaker 16: They don't talk about it, but in the back of
- 22:32Speaker 16: my head when I'm sitting there at Christmas, I'm just.

- 22:36Speaker 10: Yeah, they do.
- 22:36Speaker 16: And they think about it occasionally.
- 22:38Speaker 7: They're like.
- 22:39Speaker 16: Crazy naked bitch that was screaming for help on the.
- 22:42Speaker 24: Top of the hill.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Angie, don't go away.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Hold on a second. Hold on.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Hold on a second.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 22:46Speaker 7: Whenever I see that show alone, do you watch that show?
- 22:48Speaker 7: It's like Survivor, but you're by yourself. These people deal

- 25:21Speaker 7: The diamond back?

- 25:54Speaker 6: I'd love them. My kids love the D-backs, and it's
- 25:55Speaker 6: the best time to go.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 25:56Speaker 12: Okay, hold on.
- 25:57Speaker 3: We can give you some, too. Way to go. We
- 25:58Speaker 3: got extra tickets.
- 25:59Speaker 7: Hold on.
- 26:00Speaker 9: Yeah, they're playing for the wild card right now, right?
- 26:02Speaker 7: That's exciting.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Can I tell you guys what I was hoping for?
- 26:04Speaker 2: And this person would be the winner. It's on our Facebook, Teresa.
- 26:08Speaker 2: And anyone can call her or Teresa if you can listen.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Teresa was bitten by, get this, an orangutan while walking
- 26:14Speaker 2: to school when I was in kindergarten. In Sacramento, a
- 26:18Speaker 2: workman had it tied to his truck bumper, and I
- 26:20Speaker 2: thought I'd try and feed it.
- 26:22Speaker 7: Bad idea.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Bit by an orangutan.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Whoa.
- 26:24Speaker 9: That's wild.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:26Speaker 2: So if anyone can get ahold of her, she would
- 26:28Speaker 2: win too.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Ashley, good morning.
- 26:31Speaker 15: Good morning.
- 26:32Speaker 3: What's up?
- 26:33Speaker 24: I just bought, you know, my, my first house and
- 26:37Speaker 24: I've been in like my DIY home improvement era. And, uh, I,
- 26:45Speaker 24: I have these countertops that I just got redone and
- 26:49Speaker 24: I felt like this tiny stain on it. So I
- 26:52Speaker 24: watched a video on how to get the stain out
- 26:56Speaker 24: and I put some cleaning product on it and let
- 26:59Speaker 24: it set for 10 minutes. I came back, took it
- 27:02Speaker 24: off and there was like a huge dull circle where
- 27:09Speaker 24: I put the cleaning product and I realized the video
- 27:12Speaker 24: I watched was for an entirely different different kind of countertop.
- 27:17Speaker 7: Oh no.
- 27:17Speaker 13: That sounds expensive.
- 27:19Speaker 8: So you made the little stain a big stain.
- 27:21Speaker 24: I made it a really big stain.
- 27:25Speaker 7: Is there another video telling you how to get out
- 27:27Speaker 7: the really big stain or are we just, we just
- 27:29Speaker 7: screwed the whole thing up?
- 27:31Speaker 24: Not that I can find. I've been, I've just been, um,
- 27:34Speaker 24: throwing like different products on it, like Clorox wipes and
- 27:39Speaker 24: I put Windex on it. I think it's making it worse. And, uh,
- 27:44Speaker 24: you know, I just kind of panicked. And so finally
- 27:47Speaker 24: I called a professional and he said, you need to
- 27:51Speaker 24: stop touching it. And they're going to come over and
- 27:56Speaker 24: take a look at it, but I don't know how
- 27:59Speaker 24: much that's going to cost. So basically, you know, my
- 28:04Speaker 24: biggest home improvement task, I guess, is leaving my house.
- 28:11Speaker 15: Right, right.
- 28:12Speaker 8: It's like the simple job that became not such a
- 28:16Speaker 8: simple job.
- 28:17Speaker 9: Do you guys see that thing that happened in Illinois?
- 28:19Speaker 8: They were like at this high school, was putting this
- 28:20Speaker 8: big jumbotron up, and the harness actually snapped.
- 28:23Speaker 9: The jumbotron came crashing down.
- 28:25Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh.
- 28:26Speaker 8: Let me just give you perspective here. The jumbotrons cost
- 28:29Speaker 8: anywhere between $ 30, 000.
- 28:30Speaker 9: To $ 100, 000. So simple job.
- 28:33Speaker 8: They were just supposed to put it up, harness strapped in,
- 28:35Speaker 8: harness broke, crashed, literally cost school $.
- 28:38Speaker 23: 100, 000.
- 28:38Speaker 15: Oh, no.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Like, jeez.
- 28:41Speaker 2: It's like when Rich, I asked him to turn on
- 28:42Speaker 2: that light right there, and it crashed down behind him.
- 28:45Speaker 9: You had one job.
- 28:45Speaker 7: You said, turn on the light.
- 28:49Speaker 4: Wow.
- 28:49Speaker 7: It's not in balance, I'll tell you that.
- 28:50Speaker 2: I'd like to know more do-it-yourself projects that have gone wrong.
- 28:55Speaker 7: Totally. You thought you were improving it, and you screwed
- 28:57Speaker 7: it up.
- 28:57Speaker 3: You try to do it yourself. I am.
- 29:00Speaker 2: The gym that I go to, the gym that I
- 29:03Speaker 2: go to, when you're done lifting weights, you drop a
- 29:06Speaker 2: weight if it's heavy, and I guess someone had dropped
- 29:08Speaker 2: the weight, and it hit the concrete, broke the concrete.
- 29:10Speaker 7: Uh-oh.
- 29:11Speaker 2: The husband of the lady that owns the gym went
- 29:14Speaker 2: in and put concrete over it. But what happened was
- 29:16Speaker 2: it healed and it's like a little bump.
- 29:18Speaker 7: Oh, no.
- 29:18Speaker 2: So it's been like a year like that. So now
- 29:21Speaker 2: a construction crew has come in to try to fix
- 29:24Speaker 2: it this morning. I was there this morning. And they
- 29:28Speaker 2: put more concrete over it. So now it's more like
- 29:30Speaker 2: a speed bump. It's like it got worse.
- 29:32Speaker 7: It's a bigger bump.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Than the little bump?
- 29:33Speaker 2: It's a bigger bump. And it's all because someone tried
- 29:36Speaker 2: to DIY it. And now you can't, because if you're
- 29:39Speaker 2: working out, if you put a bench over it to
- 29:41Speaker 2: lift the bench wobbles.
- 29:42Speaker 8: That's literally like ashley's problem like actually you're not alone and.
- 29:45Speaker 2: It's a small gym so it's like you can't wherever
- 29:47Speaker 2: you go you have to wobble if you're going to
- 29:50Speaker 2: exercise wobble gosh yeah so thank you ashley for bringing that.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Up let's do it thank you eight 777-937-1047.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Let's hear about your DIY, do-it-yourself project gone wrong.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Hello, Maddie.
- 30:04Speaker 14: You're on the air.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 30:06Speaker 17: Good morning.
- 30:07Speaker 27: A couple months ago, I had a washing machine in
- 30:11Speaker 27: my apartment that I noticed was, like, shaking really badly
- 30:14Speaker 27: and moving around every time I ran it. So I
- 30:18Speaker 27: decided to try and fix it myself. I was like,
- 30:20Speaker 27: this can't be too hard.
- 30:22Speaker 16: And then.
- 30:24Speaker 27: I watched this video on YouTube that said the problem
- 30:27Speaker 27: was that the machine probably wasn't level. So I started
- 30:31Speaker 27: adjusting those little feet underneath it myself. And apparently, according
- 30:35Speaker 27: to my phone, I got it perfectly level. So I
- 30:37Speaker 27: was like, we're good. Then ran it again. The whole
- 30:41Speaker 27: washing machine started like, slowly walking across the laundry room,
- 30:46Speaker 27: spinning faster than I've ever seen it spin, and it
- 30:49Speaker 27: ended up pulling the drain hose out of the wall
- 30:51Speaker 27: and flooding my laundry room.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 30:54Speaker 9: That's bad.
- 30:55Speaker 17: Oh, my gosh.
- 30:56Speaker 11: I've definitely had one of those, like, washers, though, that
- 30:59Speaker 11: will move when the clothes.
- 31:00Speaker 12: Are in there.
- 31:01Speaker 15: It's kind of scary.
- 31:01Speaker 11: I can actually literally visualize that, but for it to
- 31:04Speaker 11: move so far away that it pulls out the drain.
- 31:07Speaker 1: No.
- 31:08Speaker 27: Horrible.
- 31:08Speaker 10: Horrible.
- 31:09Speaker 3: All right, Maddie, thanks for calling in.
- 31:11Speaker 27: Yeah, thank you.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Hey, we have a $ 500 gift card to Airtasker.com, which

- 32:06Speaker 2: That's our prize, 500 bucks. We want to hear about
- 32:08Speaker 2: your do-it-yourself, do-it-yourself fail. Kelly, Kelly, what happened?
- 32:15Speaker 22: I was building a, I took a pop-up trailer and
- 32:18Speaker 22: built it, turned it into a hard-sided bunkhouse at my
- 32:21Speaker 22: cabin up north. And I was putting in a pull
- 32:23Speaker 22: handle on the Dutch door, and it was a brand
- 32:26Speaker 22: new drill bit. And as I was trying to line
- 32:28Speaker 22: up the screws, I placed the drill between my knees
- 32:31Speaker 22: to hold it. I was wearing Crocs. And as I
- 32:34Speaker 22: reached over, the drill slipped out from between my knees
- 32:37Speaker 22: straight through the top of my foot and made an
- 32:39Speaker 22: extra hole in my Crocs. And I was okay until
- 32:43Speaker 22: it started feeling super wet. So I took my Crocs off,
- 32:46Speaker 22: and I took a step, and it squirted out like
- 32:48Speaker 22: a sprinkler.
- 32:49Speaker 13: Oh, my gosh.
- 32:49Speaker 7: And I said, oh.
- 32:51Speaker 22: And I was by myself, so I called my neighbor,
- 32:53Speaker 22: and we called the paramedics, and they came and just
- 32:55Speaker 22: wrapped it up. And they said, since it's the bottom
- 32:56Speaker 22: of your circulatory system, there's just a lot of pressure.
- 33:00Speaker 22: But I didn't need stitches.
- 33:01Speaker 16: I just had an extra.
- 33:02Speaker 15: Hole in my crock.
- 33:03Speaker 7: Whoa.
- 33:04Speaker 9: And your foot.
- 33:04Speaker 7: That was almost like the perfect hole, right, where it
- 33:07Speaker 7: didn't really mess up any nerve endings or anything. Right.
- 33:11Speaker 22: But it just bled a lot and scared me.
- 33:13Speaker 19: But, you know, I had, yeah.
- 33:15Speaker 14: DIY fail.
- 33:17Speaker 3: You do a lot of that stuff? You work on
- 33:19Speaker 3: your cabin? You work on a lot of stuff on
- 33:21Speaker 3: your own?
- 33:22Speaker 22: Well, my dad does a lot of it, and then
- 33:23Speaker 22: I was doing all the finishing stuff, and it was
- 33:28Speaker 22: an accident.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Well, it just seems like the way you speak and
- 33:31Speaker 2: the way that you know words about the stuff that
- 33:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 33:36Speaker 22: Well, my dad built houses, and he kind of taught
- 33:39Speaker 22: my sister, my brother, and I, like, try to figure
- 33:42Speaker 22: it out on your own. Then once you can't figure
- 33:44Speaker 22: it out on your own, then you call somebody.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Hold on, Kelly. Hold on. Hey, Tom, what's your do-it-yourself fail?
- 33:50Speaker 3: What happened?
- 33:51Speaker 4: Hey, how's it going, guys? This is the, I feel
- 33:54Speaker 4: like the classic DIY gone wrong. You've got a little
- 33:58Speaker 4: drip under the sink. I went to tighten the little
- 34:02Speaker 4: plastic fastener there and broke the entire pipe off. Not
- 34:09Speaker 4: to mention, so water's going everywhere now. And now I'm frantic.
- 34:14Speaker 4: I'm running out front trying to find the main cutoff
- 34:18Speaker 4: to the house. Can't find the right wrench. 15 some
- 34:22Speaker 4: odd minutes go by, I've got a half a foot
- 34:25Speaker 4: of standing water in my kitchen before I finally find
- 34:28Speaker 4: the right size wrench to shut the main water off.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Now I'm not allowed to touch anything.
- 34:34Speaker 9: You have been cut off.
- 34:36Speaker 7: There's a guy who could use it right there.
- 34:39Speaker 17: Tom?
- 34:40Speaker 4: I sure could, buddy.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Tom, would you like a $ 500 gift card to Airtasker.com?
- 34:45Speaker 4: There's a few things I could get done in the
- 34:47Speaker 4: house that I've been putting off for sure.
- 34:50Speaker 17: Yeah?
- 34:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 34:50Speaker 12: Yay!
- 34:51Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Tom, because that's a good one, too.
- 34:52Speaker 2: So hold on the line, Tom. We will set you up. Yeah, man,
- 34:54Speaker 2: you get $ 500.
- 34:55Speaker 3: You guys are awesome. Airtasker.com, Tom.
- 34:58Speaker 4: I've been listening for 20 years. Love you guys.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Thanks, brother. Hold on the line.
- 35:02Speaker 7: It's a lot of water in the house. A half
- 35:03Speaker 7: an inch all the way around.
- 35:05Speaker 4: It's a lot of water.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Hold on, Tom. Hello, John Jane Rich, who's this?
- 35:11Speaker 4: James calling in for a DIY fail.
- 35:14Speaker 7: All right, let's hear it.
- 35:15Speaker 3: What happened?
- 35:16Speaker 20: Trying to hang my TV, thinking that I knew what
- 35:19Speaker 20: I was doing, went to another room and heard a
- 35:22Speaker 20: big crash.
- 35:25Speaker 7: Uh-oh. Didn't hit the.
- 35:26Speaker 10: Start with the anchors, huh?
- 35:27Speaker 9: The TV didn't make it?
- 35:30Speaker 20: I thought I was doing something and I wasn't.
- 35:34Speaker 9: That stinks.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Thanks for calling in, man. Thanks for listening.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Of course.
- 35:38Speaker 7: Broken wall? Broken TV? That's not good.
- 35:40Speaker 1: You've got questions, and we have four unqualified people to
- 35:44Speaker 1: give you answers.
- 35:46Speaker 14: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Ashley, we were getting into do-it-yourself disaster stories. I saw
- 35:52Speaker 2: your text, and I was like, we have to talk
- 35:54Speaker 2: to her. We need to know more about this story, Ashley.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 35:57Speaker 16: Good morning.
- 35:59Speaker 2: So what is your do-it-yourself story gone wrong?
- 36:02Speaker 10: So, like a.
- 36:04Speaker 23: Year and a half ago, a... crop dusting plane crashed
- 36:07Speaker 23: into the side of our house and we had to
- 36:11Speaker 23: get everything taken out. We lost everything in our house
- 36:14Speaker 23: and they had to take out all the flooring and everything.
- 36:16Speaker 23: And so there was this giant hole on our wall.
- 36:19Speaker 23: And my husband was like, I can do it ourselves.
- 36:21Speaker 23: Like I can patch this hole. And as he's touching
- 36:24Speaker 23: the hole, it's just going more and more out. He's
- 36:27Speaker 23: just like, keeps on touching, keeps on touching it. And
- 36:30Speaker 23: it's like the whole entire wall at this point, And
- 36:34Speaker 23: then he was like, okay, it's good. Like, we'll, we'll
- 36:36Speaker 23: paint it. So we start painting it and we're like,
- 36:38Speaker 23: why does it look so weird? Like the color doesn't
- 36:42Speaker 23: match the rest of the house. And we didn't realize
- 36:43Speaker 23: you had to like put a primer over the patch
- 36:48Speaker 23: that you do, I guess. Cause it like soaks up
- 36:50Speaker 23: all the shine out of the paint.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I'd like to get more into the plane crashing into
- 36:56Speaker 2: your house story. Like what's the story with that?
- 36:59Speaker 23: Um, I was sleeping with my kids and there was
- 37:04Speaker 23: just a big crash and the windows blew out and
- 37:07Speaker 23: I guess you just lost control of the plane and
- 37:10Speaker 23: it just landed in between two houses and one side
- 37:14Speaker 23: was my house.
- 37:15Speaker 7: Do you live on a farm or near a farm?
- 37:18Speaker 6: No.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Was it the propeller or the plane wing went through
- 37:23Speaker 2: your house?
- 37:24Speaker 23: The wing and then it spun and so all of
- 37:27Speaker 23: the Um, pesticides he was spraying on his, uh, crops,
- 37:32Speaker 23: like went into the house.
- 37:36Speaker 16: Wow.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Anybody hurt?
- 37:38Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 37:39Speaker 23: No, the, we have a video from the, across the street.
- 37:42Speaker 23: They had like the ring door camera and he just
- 37:44Speaker 23: opened our gate and walked out. Oh my gosh. Yeah, thankfully,
- 37:48Speaker 23: we were all okay, too. But, yeah, when I had
- 37:50Speaker 23: to call my husband and tell him, like, he had
- 37:52Speaker 23: to come home from work because a plane crashed in
- 37:54Speaker 23: my house, he was like, are you having a mental breakdown?
- 37:58Speaker 3: Can we have the video to post?
- 37:59Speaker 23: Yeah, I'll see if I can find it. I'm sure
- 38:02Speaker 23: my husband has it.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you save that?
- 38:04Speaker 3: Save that.
- 38:05Speaker 23: Yeah, I don't like, I mean, I don't, I'm so
- 38:08Speaker 23: over it at this point. It's been, like, the biggest
- 38:10Speaker 23: nightmare of my whole entire life. And then a couple
- 38:13Speaker 23: of days ago, a tree fell on my car at work.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Goodness gracious.
- 38:18Speaker 13: Bad luck over there.
- 38:19Speaker 17: No, I swear.
- 38:20Speaker 9: It feels like that movie.
- 38:21Speaker 2: It's that movie where you're supposed to die.
- 38:23Speaker 9: Final destination.
- 38:24Speaker 16: Final destination.
- 38:25Speaker 7: You guys are looking at this all wrong. Since they've rebuilt,
- 38:28Speaker 7: they haven't had any problems with the crops in their house,
- 38:30Speaker 7: with bugs.
- 38:32Speaker 23: Exactly.
- 38:34Speaker 9: Glass half full right there, Ash.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Let me ask you this. So the plane crashes in
- 38:40Speaker 2: your house. You decide to do it yourself. Doesn't insurance
- 38:45Speaker 2: cover that? Plane crashing in your house?
- 38:46Speaker 23: The problem was the insurance only gave us so much
- 38:49Speaker 23: money towards things. And because we lost everything in the
- 38:52Speaker 23: house and our insurance was fighting us like throughout the
- 38:55Speaker 23: whole entire process and they pulled out all the carpet
- 38:58Speaker 23: and then they're like, oh, well, we don't have to
- 39:00Speaker 23: pay for the flooring and all the tile was broken.
- 39:02Speaker 23: So we were trying to do the things that we
- 39:05Speaker 23: took a week off work and we're like, we'll just
- 39:07Speaker 23: do everything that we know how to like kind of
- 39:09Speaker 23: know how to do. And we'll just pay for the
- 39:12Speaker 23: stuff that's like the structural things that have to get
- 39:14Speaker 23: fixed to try to save some money. And it still
- 39:19Speaker 23: ended up not being enough. We ended up taking out
- 39:21Speaker 23: like a loan to try to finish out the rest
- 39:23Speaker 23: of the house just because of how much damage it
- 39:25Speaker 23: actually ended up having.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Well, today's your lucky day for calling in A and
- 39:29Speaker 2: for B. is we would like to gift you a
- 39:32Speaker 2: 500 gift card to airtasker.com wow okay yeah Thank you.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Yeah, they assemble everything.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Furniture, they mount to TV, moving a couch, cleaning, yard work,
- 39:44Speaker 2: even something totally random, like when an airplane falls in

- 40:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Hold on a line.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Please send us that video. Hold on so we get
- 40:05Speaker 2: your information and also that video.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Offended you, I am really, really sorry. Please email our
- 40:13Speaker 1: management at yourmom at iheartradio.yourmom.com.
- 40:18Speaker 14: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 40:19Speaker 2: It's National Dog Day today. And we got Diamondback tickets,
- 40:34Speaker 2: a four-pack of Diamondback tickets. We want to get into
- 40:36Speaker 2: who's in the doghouse right now. Daisy, for whatever reason,
- 40:39Speaker 2: guy or girl, why are you in the doghouse? Daisy,
- 40:41Speaker 2: why are you in the doghouse?
- 40:43Speaker 20: My wife was in the doghouse. So about a year
- 40:47Speaker 20: or two into dating, I decided to surprise her. She's
- 40:51Speaker 20: a country fan, so I got tickets to a country
- 40:54Speaker 20: fan fest. While we were there, everything was fun. She
- 40:57Speaker 20: was like, just don't dance with anybody. Whatever, you know,
- 41:00Speaker 20: just don't. just don't accept anybody's dancing invitation. I was like, okay, sure, whatever.
- 41:03Speaker 20: Her main guy, this is Sunday, last day, her main
- 41:07Speaker 20: guy comes on stage.
- 41:08Speaker 16: I feel honored to, I mean, I feel like.
- 41:11Speaker 20: I went to go get her a beer, and then
- 41:13Speaker 20: I come back, and she's dancing with somebody else.
- 41:15Speaker 16: I was like, what the heck?
- 41:17Speaker 23: Like, you told me not to dance with anybody.
- 41:19Speaker 20: So I basically just sat down, grabbed my chair, because
- 41:22Speaker 20: it was lawn chair type of thing, and I grabbed
- 41:24Speaker 20: my lawn chair, and I just left.
- 41:26Speaker 7: Oh.
- 41:27Speaker 16: I mean.
- 41:28Speaker 13: That's crossing a line.
- 41:29Speaker 9: Doghouse, for sure.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Doghouse, Daisy. Thank you, Daisy. Brooke, why are you in
- 41:34Speaker 3: the doghouse?
- 41:35Speaker 25: Well, I wasn't in the doghouse, but my boyfriend was.
- 41:40Speaker 25: We play Call of Duty as, you know, a whole
- 41:45Speaker 25: lot of other people. And I'm normally the fourth person
- 41:48Speaker 25: on the team and had been for about a week,
- 41:51Speaker 25: two weeks up until my birthday. And then on the
- 41:54Speaker 25: night of my birthday, I just wanted to stay home
- 41:57Speaker 25: and play Call of Duty. And he looked at me
- 42:00Speaker 25: and said, oh, our squad's full, but I'll let you
- 42:02Speaker 25: know if a spot opens up. I said, I'll let
- 42:06Speaker 25: you know if a spot opens up. It was to
- 42:09Speaker 25: the point my bonus daughter looked at.
- 42:11Speaker 20: Me and said, do I need to go download it
- 42:13Speaker 20: so I can play it with you?
- 42:15Speaker 25: And I was just like, I was in tears.
- 42:17Speaker 18: Because I'm like, no.
- 42:19Speaker 25: She just walked away and was like. She just looked
- 42:24Speaker 25: like she was about to cry.
- 42:25Speaker 27: She said, it just.
- 42:26Speaker 10: Hurt my heart.
- 42:28Speaker 13: At least she had your back.
- 42:29Speaker 25: Yeah, he was in the doghouse for a hot minute.
- 42:32Speaker 25: I haven't let him live it down, to be honest.
- 42:34Speaker 2: That's good. Thank you, Brooke.
- 42:36Speaker 3: 877-937-1047.
- 42:37Speaker 2: It's National Dog Day. Stacey, good morning.
- 42:42Speaker 27: Good morning.
- 42:44Speaker 3: Why are you in the doghouse, Stacey?
- 42:46Speaker 29: I'm not in the doghouse, but my husband is in
- 42:49Speaker 29: the doghouse because on our wedding day... His groomsman stayed
- 42:56Speaker 29: all night with us because he was too cheap to
- 42:59Speaker 29: get us a hotel room on our wedding night.
- 43:03Speaker 7: So everybody was at the house?
- 43:05Speaker 27: Yeah, yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 29: So we just get into bed and I hear this
- 43:10Speaker 29: pounding on our window. And it's his groomsman and his
- 43:15Speaker 29: girlfriend trying to get in the house so they could
- 43:19Speaker 29: stay all night because they didn't bother to. rent a
- 43:23Speaker 29: hotel room either when they drove three and a half hours.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Wow, so he's been in the doghouse for 32 years?
- 43:30Speaker 27: Yeah, pretty much.
- 43:32Speaker 29: I told him you guys were going to be calling
- 43:34Speaker 29: and asking about being in the doghouse. He goes, oh, God,
- 43:39Speaker 29: now what? And I told him, and he goes, you're
- 43:41Speaker 29: going to just start getting all mad.
- 43:44Speaker 7: All over again. See, he knows you well after all
- 43:47Speaker 7: these years.
- 43:48Speaker 26: I am.
- 43:48Speaker 29: Like, I had to get up and go grab a
- 43:50Speaker 29: glass of wine to calm myself down from 32 years ago.
- 43:55Speaker 2: That's a good one, Stacey. 32 years in the doghouse. Josh,
- 43:59Speaker 2: what about you? Who's in the doghouse?
- 44:02Speaker 12: Oh, so it's not me. It's actually a buddy of mine.
- 44:06Speaker 12: But he decided to go out on Mother's Day. And
- 44:09Speaker 12: he took one of his kids with him, and they
- 44:11Speaker 12: went out on Mother's Day. And the mom thought they
- 44:15Speaker 12: were going to come back with this great surprise. And
- 44:18Speaker 12: he comes rolling up in a brand-new Charger.
- 44:22Speaker 10: For him.
- 44:26Speaker 5: Wow.
- 44:27Speaker 7: You know, I get why you're passing that around. Because
- 44:30Speaker 7: you passing that story around makes you look so much
- 44:32Speaker 7: better than him right now.
- 44:33Speaker 9: That would sting.
- 44:36Speaker 3: Oh, man. That's good, Josh.
- 44:37Speaker 13: And on Mother's Day.
- 44:38Speaker 3: That's good, Josh. Ray, why are you.
- 44:41Speaker 2: In the doghouse?
- 44:42Speaker 24: I'm not in the doghouse yet, but I'm going to be.
- 44:45Speaker 7: Okay, why?
- 44:47Speaker 16: Because this morning... I hit the same pole at QT
- 44:53Speaker 16: that my mother-in-law coddled her car on last week. And
- 44:59Speaker 16: now I have to tell my husband. Actually, it wasn't
- 45:01Speaker 16: even me. It was my 15-year-old daughter with her permit.
- 45:05Speaker 16: And he's not going to want her to drive anymore.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 45:09Speaker 7: The same pole.
- 45:10Speaker 15: She's like, it's hereditary.
- 45:13Speaker 14: Grandma did it.
- 45:14Speaker 7: That's kind of wild. It's the same poll at the
- 45:18Speaker 7: same QT. Claimed two cars in the family.
- 45:21Speaker 13: The poll moved there.
- 45:23Speaker 9: Had to have.
- 45:23Speaker 13: If it happened twice, you are not the problem.
- 45:25Speaker 2: I tell you what, Ray, what if you told your husband,
- 45:26Speaker 2: when you tell him, you say, but I did win
- 45:28Speaker 2: Diamondback tickets.
- 45:29Speaker 24: That would be something.
- 45:30Speaker 2: All right, done deal.
- 45:31Speaker 3: You got it.
- 45:32Speaker 7: We'll give you the Diamondback tickets. Yeah, we don't want
- 45:33Speaker 7: you guys getting in any more trouble.
- 45:35Speaker 3: All right, Ray.
- 45:35Speaker 16: Thank you.
- 45:36Speaker 3: You got it. Thanks for listening. Hold on the line.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Drive safe.
- 45:40Speaker 1: The next segment we're going to do is called Second
- 45:42Speaker 1: Date Update because that's what we're going to try and get,
- 45:45Speaker 1: and that's what the bit is called.
- 45:47Speaker 14: Second Date Update starts right now on John Jay and Rich.
- 45:50Speaker 3: All right, it's time for Second Date Update.
- 45:53Speaker 2: You meet somebody, you got a date, you have a
- 45:54Speaker 2: good time, you expect there to be a second date,
- 45:56Speaker 2: doesn't happen.
- 45:57Speaker 3: You come to us, we're going to help you get answers. Bobby,
- 45:59Speaker 3: good morning, you're on the air.
- 46:01Speaker 17: Yeah, so I met this girl, it's strange, it's like
- 46:04Speaker 17: totally random at this restaurant bar.
- 46:07Speaker 10: She's with one of her friends.
- 46:08Speaker 17: I was just like grabbing a drink at a bar
- 46:11Speaker 17: and somehow, you know, we start talking, we hit it
- 46:16Speaker 17: off right away. I get her number and, you know,
- 46:20Speaker 17: we're like, like texting back and forth for a few
- 46:23Speaker 17: days and eventually agree. Like we, you know, it's going well.
- 46:27Speaker 17: So we should meet up, go on and like an
- 46:29Speaker 17: actual date. And, uh, I don't know, dude, I felt
- 46:34Speaker 17: like it was really, really going well. Um, or it
- 46:39Speaker 17: went well, uh, you know, and we like just chatting
- 46:43Speaker 17: the whole time laughing. Uh, and she has this great,
- 46:47Speaker 17: really funny laugh, uh, Um, and there was just like
- 46:50Speaker 17: a lot of chemistry. And so, you know, I'm leaving.
- 46:56Speaker 10: I'm like, I think I like this girl.
- 46:59Speaker 17: I even told one of my buddies about it. And, uh,
- 47:03Speaker 17: he's like kind of making fun of me, busting my balls. And, uh,
- 47:07Speaker 17: you know, but ever since then, uh, now he's really
- 47:09Speaker 17: busted my balls cause she's like just disappeared. Um, I
- 47:15Speaker 17: texted her a few times. I'm not a crazy stalker
- 47:18Speaker 17: or anything, but I'm getting nothing back. My buddy's trying
- 47:25Speaker 17: to help me work it out, figure out what happened.
- 47:30Speaker 10: He's actually the one who told me to call you guys.
- 47:32Speaker 17: I just figured, here I am, ready to hopefully find
- 47:39Speaker 17: out what the heck happened.
- 47:40Speaker 3: I just.
- 47:42Speaker 7: Yeah, the not knowing.
- 47:43Speaker 17: Is harder than the, like, you know, I can get
- 47:46Speaker 17: over never hearing from her again, I guess. But, yeah,
- 47:50Speaker 17: I don't know. I have to know what happened.
- 47:52Speaker 10: It's like this weird thing.
- 47:55Speaker 2: There's no closure.
- 47:55Speaker 10: You know what I mean?
- 47:57Speaker 3: That's what we do here, brother. Okay, so essentially you
- 47:59Speaker 3: saw her twice, right?
- 48:01Speaker 2: You met her, exchanged numbers, then went out on a
- 48:03Speaker 2: real date.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 48:05Speaker 10: Yeah, with a lot of kind of back and forth
- 48:07Speaker 10: in between.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Any intimacy in the date?
- 48:12Speaker 10: Uh, I mean, we like kissed, but you know, that
- 48:14Speaker 10: was about it.
- 48:15Speaker 3: That's a big deal.
- 48:16Speaker 13: Okay.
- 48:16Speaker 2: So she liked you enough to kiss you.
- 48:18Speaker 11: I wonder if she did like a deep dive on
- 48:20Speaker 11: your social media. Are you all private on everything or
- 48:23Speaker 11: is all of your business out there?
- 48:24Speaker 10: I keep my business out there. I'm not, I got
- 48:27Speaker 10: nothing to hide, you know?
- 48:28Speaker 4: I know.
- 48:28Speaker 11: I'm wondering if she sees like, I don't know, something
- 48:31Speaker 11: in your likes, your comments. Cause I mean, it seems
- 48:33Speaker 11: like you guys had a great time together. So where
- 48:36Speaker 11: could have things gone wrong?
- 48:37Speaker 7: He might be a bad kisser. It might have been
- 48:39Speaker 7: great up until the kiss. You always lead to that. Well,
- 48:41Speaker 7: when all the evidence we have is we laughed, we
- 48:44Speaker 7: had chemistry, we talked about the future, I asked her
- 48:47Speaker 7: out again, and then we kissed goodnight and then nothing
- 48:49Speaker 7: else happened. You got to figure maybe he's got like those,
- 48:52Speaker 7: when you go to kiss, his lips feel like, you know, like,
- 48:55Speaker 7: like ceiling tile. There's just no gift.
- 48:58Speaker 8: What if it had nothing to do with Bobby though?
- 49:00Speaker 8: Like what if she had other things going on in
- 49:02Speaker 8: her life? She was dating someone else. They were on
- 49:04Speaker 8: a break. So she felt like, hey, I meet this.
- 49:07Speaker 9: Guy at the restaurant. This could be great. And then,
- 49:09Speaker 9: you know, the.
- 49:10Speaker 8: Ex comes back in her life and she feels like
- 49:11Speaker 8: she's got.
- 49:12Speaker 9: To cut Bobby off.
- 49:13Speaker 2: I saw this Instagram post of a girl that met
- 49:16Speaker 2: a guy at a bar like this. They end up
- 49:18Speaker 2: drinking from a bar. and I, and the next day
- 49:21Speaker 2: he sent her a text And it was an AI.
- 49:24Speaker 3: They didn't hook up.
- 49:25Speaker 2: They just spent drinking, talking, right? And he felt guilty.
- 49:28Speaker 2: And he wrote, I wish I would have saved it.
- 49:31Speaker 2: He made an AI song. He sent a picture of
- 49:34Speaker 2: Winnie the Pooh. And the AI song was singing to
- 49:37Speaker 2: her that, I'm sorry, I'm married. I have a family.
- 49:39Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh.
- 49:40Speaker 9: I hope you have a great time.
- 49:43Speaker 7: Oh, but he made her a song.
- 49:44Speaker 9: At least she had closure.
- 49:47Speaker 2: But if you think about it, he was just sitting
- 49:48Speaker 2: at the bar talking to her all night.
- 49:50Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 49:50Speaker 2: And then he got her number and was like, oh, man,
- 49:52Speaker 2: I feel bad I have your number. I shouldn't have
- 49:54Speaker 2: got your number. Just to let you know. And it's
- 49:56Speaker 2: just the Winnie the Pooh dancer.
- 49:58Speaker 7: I'm married.
- 49:58Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh.
- 49:59Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 50:01Speaker 3: Anyway all right bobby let's call her what's her.
- 50:02Speaker 17: Name chloe and i i didn't i didn't send any
- 50:05Speaker 17: creepy ai song.
- 50:06Speaker 2: All right all right hold on line okay hold on
- 50:08Speaker 2: hold on hold on i found it the song so
- 50:11Speaker 2: this is what happened this guy goes out with a
- 50:13Speaker 2: girl i now now i think it's a trend now
- 50:16Speaker 2: it's like a guy goes out with a girl and
- 50:18Speaker 2: then uh you find out he's in a relationship because
- 50:20Speaker 2: i when i was searching for it i found where
- 50:23Speaker 2: a girl spent the night with a guy and then
- 50:25Speaker 2: he sent it so this is it.
- 50:27Speaker 11: Oh, my God.
- 50:28Speaker 7: I met this guy at the bar and he sends
- 50:30Speaker 7: me this.
- 50:31Speaker 9: I'm cringing so bad.
- 50:32Speaker 7: I probably should delete your number.
- 50:35Speaker 6: Turns out I have a wife.
- 50:37Speaker 10: Oopsies.
- 50:37Speaker 7: Oh, my God. I hope you can find a man
- 50:39Speaker 7: that doesn't forget his entire marriage while buying you tequila shots.
- 50:43Speaker 11: Oh, no.
- 50:45Speaker 16: Oh, my God.
- 50:45Speaker 7: I'm never going to the bar again. Whoopsies.
- 50:49Speaker 3: Whoopsies. Whoopsies.
- 50:52Speaker 10: Anyway.
- 50:52Speaker 3: Dylan, why don't you try to get Chloe on and
- 50:54Speaker 3: see if she'll jump on with us real quick. Second
- 50:56Speaker 3: Aid Update continues next.
- 50:58Speaker 14: It's the John Jay and Rich radio program.
- 51:01Speaker 7: Two names.
- 51:02Speaker 14: Four hosts.
- 51:03Speaker 7: And a whole lot of fun.
- 51:05Speaker 14: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 51:07Speaker 3: We're in the middle of Second Aid Update.
- 51:08Speaker 7: This is the story of Bobby and Chloe. They actually
- 51:11Speaker 7: met the old-fashioned way, talking in public at a bar.
- 51:16Speaker 7: Bobby got her digits and asked her on a date.
- 51:19Speaker 7: She said yes. He said that they laughed a lot
- 51:21Speaker 7: and the chemistry was really great. He even told his
- 51:24Speaker 7: friends about her. But after the date, radio silence. He
- 51:28Speaker 7: has no idea what went wrong. The kiss goodnight was
- 51:31Speaker 7: actually a kiss goodbye. No response. No closure. Bobby wants
- 51:36Speaker 7: to know what went wrong.
- 51:36Speaker 2: All right, Bobby, so you hang tight, okay? You got it?
- 51:39Speaker 3: You stay quiet. You jump in one moment. All right,
- 51:41Speaker 3: hold on.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Dylan says Chloe's ready to go.
- 51:42Speaker 7: Hey, Chloe.
- 51:44Speaker 16: Hey.
- 51:44Speaker 3: Hey, good morning. So you're on the radio with us.
- 51:47Speaker 3: How are you?
- 51:48Speaker 29: I'm good.
- 51:49Speaker 17: How are you?
- 51:49Speaker 3: All right, look, we have.
- 51:50Speaker 2: An interesting situation. We got a call from a guy.
- 51:52Speaker 2: He says he met this great girl. You're the girl.
- 51:55Speaker 2: And you're ghosting him.
- 51:56Speaker 3: Talking about Bobby.
- 51:58Speaker 7: She doesn't sound all happy altogether.
- 52:00Speaker 3: Can you give us a rundown? What's going on?
- 52:02Speaker 15: Oh, my.
- 52:04Speaker 16: I did ghost him.
- 52:06Speaker 19: It doesn't sound that bad because it was just a
- 52:08Speaker 19: really weird date. Like, it was going really well at first, but...
- 52:14Speaker 19: Out of nowhere, he just starts trying to get me
- 52:16Speaker 19: on a GLP-1. And that's so inappropriate. And it was
- 52:21Speaker 19: like not even casually mentioned it. This man was like pitching.
- 52:24Speaker 15: Me the GLP-1.
- 52:26Speaker 19: Like he kept saying he had a discount code. He
- 52:29Speaker 19: had like 30 people on it. It was like so
- 52:31Speaker 19: pyramid scheming to me.
- 52:32Speaker 2: And he was like, I can hook you up.
- 52:35Speaker 16: And I just was like, am I.
- 52:38Speaker 19: On a date with a pharmaceutical rep? Like what is
- 52:40Speaker 19: going on right now?
- 52:40Speaker 16: He just kept bringing it up.
- 52:43Speaker 19: And I was like, are you trying to tell me
- 52:44Speaker 19: that I need to lose weight? Like, then I started
- 52:46Speaker 19: feeling like I was being judged and he thought.
- 52:48Speaker 27: I was fat.
- 52:48Speaker 19: And I was like, it was just like, it was
- 52:50Speaker 19: so weird and uncomfortable. And I don't know, like, it
- 52:56Speaker 19: just was not good first date vibe. So I'm, yeah,
- 52:59Speaker 19: I ghosted him and I don't care.
- 53:01Speaker 9: I probably would have as well.
- 53:04Speaker 11: That's a good reason.
- 53:07Speaker 10: I'm sorry, are you serious? Oh, my God.
- 53:11Speaker 16: Are you on the.
- 53:12Speaker 10: I'm sorry, guys. Was I not allowed to, like, jump
- 53:14Speaker 10: in yet? No, that was fine.
- 53:15Speaker 3: You can. That was fine.
- 53:16Speaker 19: Well, it's crazy that you think that you can just, like,
- 53:19Speaker 19: call the radio station and, like, get me to come
- 53:22Speaker 19: back on... Like, I don't understand what you're... I.
- 53:25Speaker 27: Ghosted you for a reason.
- 53:26Speaker 19: You should know that because... You wouldn't call me back.
- 53:28Speaker 17: I've been trying to figure out what has happened since
- 53:31Speaker 17: our date.
- 53:31Speaker 19: Well, you just.
- 53:32Speaker 10: Like, this?
- 53:34Speaker 19: It's, like, not that hard to figure out what happened
- 53:35Speaker 19: when you're trying to get me on a GL1P.
- 53:38Speaker 5: That's a little different.
- 53:41Speaker 6: GLP-1.
- 53:41Speaker 9: Whatever they are.
- 53:43Speaker 19: Is it GLP-1?
- 53:44Speaker 17: I was going to say, if you're going to call
- 53:47Speaker 17: me out on that, you at least get the acronym right.
- 53:49Speaker 19: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not, like, super up-to-date with that. And, like,
- 53:52Speaker 19: who cares if I put one letter in front of
- 53:54Speaker 19: the other, like, that was so inappropriate for you to do.
- 53:58Speaker 17: And yeah, I'm obviously sorry about wanting to try and
- 54:01Speaker 17: prioritize your health. You know, I'm literally, I was just
- 54:06Speaker 17: telling you what worked for me and I was trying
- 54:09Speaker 17: to be helpful.
- 54:09Speaker 10: You know, maybe it could work for you too, a
- 54:10Speaker 10: little bit.
- 54:11Speaker 19: You're trying to lure me into your little, your cave of,
- 54:15Speaker 19: GLP-1 girls that are, like, wrapped around your finger and you're, like,
- 54:19Speaker 19: raising them up as part of your army.
- 54:21Speaker 17: Oh, oh, oh, Osempic!
- 54:27Speaker 7: Osempic is proven to lower A1C.
- 54:29Speaker 17: I wouldn't have even brought it up if you hadn't
- 54:31Speaker 17: been the one to bring it up and you wanted
- 54:32Speaker 17: to get healthier.
- 54:33Speaker 7: What?
- 54:33Speaker 19: I did not bring it up.
- 54:36Speaker 17: You were talking about how you were having trouble at
- 54:38Speaker 17: the gym or, you know, a little bit of this
- 54:41Speaker 17: and that.
- 54:41Speaker 10: And, you know, I was trying to be helpful. I'm
- 54:44Speaker 10: a thoughtful guy. And like I said, I've helped out
- 54:46Speaker 10: a lot of other people. So it helped me out.
- 54:48Speaker 10: I'm not ashamed to say that.
- 54:50Speaker 19: You totally just misinterpreted my words because I said I
- 54:53Speaker 19: was interested.
- 54:53Speaker 10: In getting healthier.
- 54:55Speaker 19: And getting healthier doesn't mean taking some– random drug from
- 54:59Speaker 19: a man I've never met to lose weight. I was
- 55:01Speaker 19: talking about, like, wanting to go on walks after work and, like,
- 55:05Speaker 19: get out more and.
- 55:06Speaker 7: Go to the gym more. So, Chloe, why did you
- 55:09Speaker 7: kiss him goodnight, Chloe, if he was such a bad date?
- 55:12Speaker 19: I mean, to get him, like, out of, like, just.
- 55:16Speaker 19: I mean, he's cute, like, whatever, but I'm just, like...
- 55:19Speaker 19: The pity.
- 55:20Speaker 13: Kiss is a real-life thing.
- 55:22Speaker 3: Yeah, sure.
- 55:22Speaker 8: Also, like, I don't understand, Bobby, why you're, like, so
- 55:25Speaker 8: blown away. Like, do you understand the message you're saying
- 55:27Speaker 8: to someone when you push.
- 55:28Speaker 23: That on them?
- 55:29Speaker 14: I didn't push it, though.
- 55:30Speaker 10: I mean, she brought it up, and I was merely...
- 55:33Speaker 10: I was.
- 55:33Speaker 17: Sharing my experience and the experience of... It's been over
- 55:37Speaker 17: 30 now. I have 34 people that I've shared this with,
- 55:41Speaker 17: and it's like, I mean, come on, you... You want
- 55:43Speaker 17: to get healthy.
- 55:44Speaker 7: So I have a question, Bobby.
- 55:46Speaker 19: Did you go on 34 first dates with these women
- 55:49Speaker 19: to get them hooked? Like, I had to kiss them
- 55:51Speaker 19: to get them to leave. That is creepy behavior.
- 55:55Speaker 10: You seemed really into that kiss. So, like, don't bullshit because.
- 55:58Speaker 17: We're on the radio and be like, oh, you aimed in.
- 56:03Speaker 17: You threw some tongue back at me.
- 56:05Speaker 7: Oh, wow. This is inappropriate. It is really inappropriate.
- 56:10Speaker 9: Oh, Bobby, I don't like you anymore.
- 56:12Speaker 17: I don't like Bobby either.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Okay, so no second date with Bobby.
- 56:16Speaker 2: But I got to tell you guys something.
- 56:18Speaker 3: As someone who.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Takes GLPs and what I've learned a lot about, there's
- 56:21Speaker 2: a lot of healthy people. that are in shape that
- 56:24Speaker 2: take the GLPs. It's because not only does it curb
- 56:27Speaker 2: your appetite, but it does all these other things. It
- 56:28Speaker 2: helps your liver. It does all these stuff. So there's
- 56:30Speaker 2: people that are in good shape that take GLPs. But
- 56:33Speaker 2: I will say that if you're on a date with
- 56:35Speaker 2: a woman, I probably wouldn't bring it up for a while.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Maybe not even on the first date. Certainly not over
- 56:41Speaker 2: and over again. Yeah, but there are lots and lots
- 56:44Speaker 2: of benefits to GLPs.
- 56:46Speaker 10: It felt like she wanted the help.
- 56:48Speaker 17: And, Chloe, if you change your mind after we're off
- 56:50Speaker 17: the radio and you want to text me.
- 56:52Speaker 10: And you want me off, I'm still coming.
- 56:54Speaker 7: You will never be hearing from me.
- 56:56Speaker 10: 30% off.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Actually, I got a deal.
- 56:57Speaker 10: Oh, yeah?
- 56:58Speaker 7: Better than Bobby's? Bobby sounds pretty straight.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Dude, let me tell you. The deal I have at
- 57:01Speaker 3: Viral Wellness.
- 57:02Speaker 7: Yeah, go on. I want to hear about that.
- 57:03Speaker 3: If you do, I think it's JJR20. Uh-huh. And you
- 57:06Speaker 3: get 20% off for life.
- 57:07Speaker 7: How long?
- 57:08Speaker 3: For life. For real.
- 57:09Speaker 2: Chloe, are you interested in that?
- 57:10Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 57:11Speaker 3: Don't do that. I'm going to start selling. I'm going
- 57:13Speaker 3: to start selling, Chloe.
- 57:14Speaker 19: Chloe, hear me out.
- 57:14Speaker 7: Don't do that.
- 57:16Speaker 3: I got a better deal for.
- 57:17Speaker 18: You than Bobby.
- 57:18Speaker 7: I thought you said you wanted to be healthier.
- 57:19Speaker 3: Viralwellness.com, promo code JJR20 for life.
- 57:24Speaker 7: For life?
- 57:25Speaker 3: Yeah, for life.
- 57:26Speaker 2: So no second date. Bobby, Chloe, thanks for jumping on.
- 57:28Speaker 3: There with us. You guys are awesome.
- 57:29Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Obviously no second date.
- 57:31Speaker 28: No.
- 57:32Speaker 7: All right.
- 57:33Speaker 3: Second date update, John Jay and Rich.
- 57:34Speaker 14: You come for the John Jay and Rich, but let's
- 57:37Speaker 14: be honest. You stay for Kyle and Peyton. It's John
- 57:41Speaker 14: Jay and Rich.
- 57:42Speaker 2: Today is National Dog Day. So happy dog day. I
- 57:45Speaker 2: said happy good morning dog day to all my dogs
- 57:47Speaker 2: this morning. And just a side note, Love Pup Family
- 57:50Speaker 2: Fest is November 7th, so save the date. November 7th,
- 57:54Speaker 2: Love Pup Family Fest, 4 p.m. It's on a Saturday.
- 57:58Speaker 2: We haven't announced the artist yet, but we will shortly
- 58:01Speaker 2: for dog day. Happy dog day. And when you get
- 58:02Speaker 2: a chance, look into Adopt-A-Dog, go to Love Pup Foundation
- 58:05Speaker 2: on Instagram.
- 58:06Speaker 14: At Vertuccio Farms.
- 58:07Speaker 3: Oh, it's at Vertuccio Farms.
- 58:08Speaker 2: Thank you, Nick. Yes, Vertuccio Farms.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Nayeli, is that how you say your name, Nayeli?
- 58:13Speaker 29: Yes, it is.
- 58:14Speaker 2: Hello, well, welcome.
- 58:15Speaker 19: Hi, good morning.
- 58:16Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 58:17Speaker 3: Nick, what game are we playing today, Nick?
- 58:19Speaker 14: You guys, we're playing a very special edition of Noise Machine.
- 58:21Speaker 14: I like to call it Noise Machine, colon, that's my dog.
- 58:25Speaker 16: Uh-huh.
- 58:26Speaker 14: I'm quizzing you guys on famous dogs.
- 58:28Speaker 7: Oh, that's fun.
- 58:29Speaker 14: Throughout history and pop culture.
- 58:31Speaker 3: For Dog Day?
- 58:32Speaker 14: For Dog Day. See, we'll start with John Jay.
- 58:35Speaker 9: We can count on you.
- 58:38Speaker 3: Scooby-Doo.
- 58:39Speaker 2: We need to have that gun. Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?
- 58:46Speaker 3: That's the old school song. Yeah, Scooby-Doo.
- 58:49Speaker 14: Good job, John Jay. One point already in this game.
- 58:51Speaker 14: Our dog expert, you might say.
- 58:54Speaker 7: All right.
- 58:54Speaker 10: Rich?
- 58:55Speaker 14: Do you need a break from modern living?
- 58:59Speaker 7: Okay, that's the one that talks.
- 59:01Speaker 4: Okay.
- 59:02Speaker 7: Pluto doesn't talk, but Goofy does. That's Goofy.
- 59:06Speaker 14: Goofy does talk, and that is the correct answer. One
- 59:09Speaker 14: point for Rich Barrett. in this game. Peyton, who sings this?
- 59:12Speaker 11: Isn't that like the Baja Men or something like that?
- 59:18Speaker 7: Is it?
- 59:18Speaker 28: Is that their name?
- 59:19Speaker 10: Is it?
- 59:19Speaker 13: Yeah, it's like Baja Boys, Baja Men, Baja Boys.
- 59:22Speaker 14: You got to commit one way or the other.
- 59:23Speaker 9: I'm going to go Baja Boys.
- 59:24Speaker 14: Baja Boys?
- 59:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:25Speaker 7: Okay.
- 59:25Speaker 9: Okay.
- 59:26Speaker 14: We were looking for Baja men, so sorry, Payton, no
- 59:29Speaker 14: points in round one. Should have went with your gut.
- 59:32Speaker 13: You should have just given it to me. You would
- 59:33Speaker 13: have given it to Kyle, John Jay, or Rich.
- 59:35Speaker 7: But that's fine.
- 59:35Speaker 14: That's how it works.
- 59:36Speaker 3: We'll see. Well, Kyle, John Jay, or Rich would have
- 59:38Speaker 3: said Baja men.
- 59:39Speaker 13: Well, that's because you know who Baja men is.
- 59:41Speaker 6: No, I don't.
- 59:42Speaker 13: The point is that Nick likes to bend the rules
- 59:44Speaker 13: for everyone.
- 59:44Speaker 2: You said it, and then you lost your confidence. Like,
- 59:47Speaker 2: have your answer and go.
- 59:48Speaker 13: I hear you, but I'm just saying he rigs the games.
- 59:50Speaker 14: Can you name any of the Baja men?
- 59:52Speaker 3: He doesn't rig the game.
- 59:53Speaker 27: You had the answer.
- 59:56Speaker 9: I wouldn't have gotten that.
- 59:57Speaker 13: It's fine.
- 59:58Speaker 11: Continue.
- 59:59Speaker 14: Kyle, you would have gotten that. Let's see if you
- 1:00:01Speaker 14: can get this one.
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: I have just met you, and I love you.
- 1:00:04Speaker 17: Doug!
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: Doug!
- 1:00:06Speaker 14: Doug the dog from Up. Way to go, Kyle. John Jay,
- 1:00:11Speaker 14: one point. Rich, one point. Kyle, one point.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Nayeli?
- 1:00:15Speaker 17: Yes.
- 1:00:15Speaker 27: Oh, that's from Blue's Clues.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: Blue's Clues?
- 1:00:22Speaker 14: Blue's Clues.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Way to go.
- 1:00:24Speaker 14: One point. Round one. We have a three-way tie. We'll
- 1:00:28Speaker 14: head into round two. It gets super hard. John Jay,
- 1:00:30Speaker 14: you go first.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: Go, fellow canine. Be free and enjoy life. Maybe that's
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: why he was tied up.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Is that Brian from Family Guy?
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Brian Griffin. Yeah, there we go. John Jay, two points.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Takes commanding lead. Rich, which dog is this?
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: It's definitely a no for me, dog.
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: That is Randy Jackson. Randy Jackson.
- 1:00:54Speaker 14: Yeah. All right. Rich ties up John J.
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: Payton.
- 1:00:59Speaker 11: Bite this guy in a wiener.
- 1:01:03Speaker 9: Is that from Beethoven?
- 1:01:05Speaker 14: It is, in fact, from Beethoven.
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: Way to go, Payton.
- 1:01:08Speaker 13: I loved that movie.
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: See, way to go.
- 1:01:10Speaker 14: You had confidence in that answer. You got it right. Kyle!
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: Would that be top dog law?
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: Top dog law.
- 1:01:24Speaker 14: All right, Kyle, two points. I will issue four points
- 1:01:29Speaker 14: if we can get this correct, Nylee.
- 1:01:36Speaker 15: That is Snoop D-O-double-G.
- 1:01:38Speaker 27: That is the Snoop D-O-double-G.
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: Way to go. She's going to go see Tame Impala.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: All right. Nellie, hold on a line. We're going to
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: set you up.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I was just looking over at Dolly Parton's, some information
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: on Dolly Parton. She had 25 number one hits.
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: That's amazing.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: 25 number one hits.
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: She got like 13 Grammys, something like that, too. That's
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: also impressive.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: I know there's Jolene, I Will Always Love You.
- 1:01:59Speaker 9: 9 to 5.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Here We Come Again, 9 to 5.
- 1:02:03Speaker 13: I love 9 to 5.
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: 9 to 5 is a slapper.
- 1:02:05Speaker 13: That just makes my toe tap.
- 1:02:09Speaker 9: How could it not?
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: And you know what? The message holds true today.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: I will always love you.
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: And then Islands in the Stream.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: And then.
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: Code of Many Colors.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: I don't see that on here as number one. You
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: always pick something that's not in the code. In 2005,
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: she had a number one hit with Brad Paisley. When
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: I get where I'm going with Brad Paisley, don't know it.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: But anyway, Dolly Parton.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: I'm so glad you're here.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: As the person who currently occupies your attention, I would
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: like to thank you for listening to John Jane Rich.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: Jayla, good morning. You're on the air.
- 1:02:39Speaker 15: Hey.
- 1:02:40Speaker 19: Hey.
- 1:02:41Speaker 21: So one of my friends told us that she had
- 1:02:44Speaker 21: a cancer scare and needed surgery. And so obviously everyone
- 1:02:49Speaker 21: kind of rallied around her. Money, meals, whatever she needed,
- 1:02:52Speaker 21: took care of her shit, like all of it. And
- 1:02:55Speaker 21: then months later, I ran into her sister and mentioned,
- 1:02:59Speaker 21: you know, we're so relieved. Glad your sister's okay. And
- 1:03:03Speaker 21: her sister looked at me like I had three heads.
- 1:03:05Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:03:06Speaker 21: Apparently, my friend never had cancer. She had elective cosmetic
- 1:03:11Speaker 21: surgery and vetted a whole thing because she didn't want
- 1:03:14Speaker 21: people judging her for taking time off.
- 1:03:17Speaker 9: What did she get done?
- 1:03:19Speaker 10: Nose.
- 1:03:20Speaker 13: Just her nose?
- 1:03:21Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: Oh, man.
- 1:03:22Speaker 21: I mean, that's all she will tell us.
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: Don't you think people are going to, I mean, that's
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: pretty significant, right? Aren't you going to notice that? If
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: you're one of the friends?
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Nose cancer.
- 1:03:32Speaker 13: I think so.
- 1:03:33Speaker 21: But I'm still, yeah, I'm still stuck on the cancer thing. Like,
- 1:03:37Speaker 21: if you want to do something to your face, whatever,
- 1:03:39Speaker 21: it's your body, like, fine, but, like, just be upfront
- 1:03:42Speaker 21: about it.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: So does that make you now not believe people when
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: they tell you they're sick?
- 1:03:45Speaker 9: I think that would make her not believe this particular girl.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: With anything ever in her head.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: Somebody says, oh, I have whatever, and you're like, man,
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: I sure you do now.
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: It's really, it's weird. You guys are bringing her, like,
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: casseroles and stuff, and her nose is wrapped up, and
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: nobody thought.
- 1:03:58Speaker 19: We really pulled through for her.
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: Oh, wow.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: Well, I was going to say this is a much smaller,
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: smaller lie, or if you call it a lie. I
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: didn't believe Peyton. I texted her the other day, and
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: she didn't text me back.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: She said she didn't see it.
- 1:04:10Speaker 9: I didn't.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, yeah. I actually thought of
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: bringing it up on the air and getting into, like,
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: The things that people just don't believe. Do you think now, Jayla,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: if someone tells you that they have cancer or something,
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: will you believe them right away or be like, I
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: don't know, somebody.
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: Lied to me once?
- 1:04:27Speaker 21: Yeah, I might be a little skeptical now.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: That stinks! She did have a little bit of an
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: out because she said a cancer scare. That doesn't mean cancer, right?
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: So she kind of had a little bit of what
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: they call plausible deniability.
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: I don't think that's anything you say. Like, that's not okay.
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: That's bad karma.
- 1:04:45Speaker 13: It's terrible. You speak that into existence.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Why don't we turn this into, like, what are some
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: things you don't believe that you see in life?
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: Okay, I got something. Remember when Avatar 2 was breaking
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: all kinds of box office records?
- 1:04:57Speaker 16: Mm-hmm.
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: Beyond me, I don't think I know anybody that saw
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: that or Avatar 3. And it was like, you know,
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: it just surpassed a billion dollars, but nobody had seen it.
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: I think it's a big lie. I think James Cameron
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: and his people somehow pumped up some kind of foreign
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: thing where it makes it seem like people are way
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: into Avatar. I don't know one person. Now, Spider-Man, everybody's like, yeah,
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: I liked it. You get why that's huge. Avatar 2,
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: Avatar 3, I don't get it.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: Boy, that's a really good one. I don't think I
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: know one person that's an avatar, too.
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: See?
- 1:05:27Speaker 13: I feel like I have one.
- 1:05:29Speaker 11: When somebody says that they're really craving one of those
- 1:05:32Speaker 11: sparkling waters, they could really go for a La Croix.
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: No, you don't. Nobody really asks.
- 1:05:39Speaker 14: Actually enjoy.
- 1:05:40Speaker 9: Who craves that?
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: Who craves that?
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: Who craves that?
- 1:05:43Speaker 16: No one craves that.
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: On that same kind of tip, I don't believe people
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: when they say they enjoy working out.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: No, you don't.
- 1:05:49Speaker 17: No.
- 1:05:49Speaker 9: You feel like you're going to die when you work out.
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: Maybe afterwards.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: I want to address both those.
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: Maybe you'll like me afterwards.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: I want to address both those, yeah.
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: Good job, Kyle.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: I'm standing up for you. I don't like working out,
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: but I do like the way he feels after. That's
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: what I said.
- 1:06:01Speaker 9: You're like, I really like, I'm really into working.
- 1:06:03Speaker 16: Out right now.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: No, you're just like really my thing.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: And I don't really crave the, I love sparkling water.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: That's my new thing right now.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: No, you don't. I do. You're not a barometer, though.
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: You're odd.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: I'm telling the truth.
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: You're a strange boy, John Jay.
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: You're one of one, John Jay.
- 1:06:17Speaker 11: If you like it, John Jay, it's because you like
- 1:06:19Speaker 11: the way that it tingles and feels like electricity in
- 1:06:21Speaker 11: your mouth, not because you like the tingling.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Hey, another one is Long the Lines of Rich and Avatar.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I don't necessarily believe the Netflix top ten.
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: I actually have.
- 1:06:28Speaker 9: That same theory.
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: I'm with you.
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: Because it's the shows they want to push.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: There's a show right now that you and I talked
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: about the other day. Whenever it's a show and it's
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: in another language and it's in the top 10 here,
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: I'm like, hmm.
- 1:06:38Speaker 11: And there's like two dubbed over shows in the top
- 1:06:41Speaker 11: 10 right now. And I actually stopped watching Blood Sacrifice
- 1:06:44Speaker 11: Because I started actually paying attention and I was like,
- 1:06:46Speaker 11: they're dubbed over.
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: This show sucks.
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: That's the worst when you're watching a show and you
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: all of a sudden notice it's dubbed over really poorly.
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: Speaking of her friend and her cancer scare, Jayla, I
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: don't believe it when you're waiting for a table and
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: they're like, it'll be a few minutes and there's like
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: a bunch of free tables. Why can't they just put
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: you at the table?
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: They will in a few minutes. When they say it's
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: a 45-minute wait, that's when I'm like, what the hell?
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: This place is empty.
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: It's not that big of a wait. You can slide
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: us in right now. Get us some apps. We're good.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: How about that?
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: What are the little things you don't believe people when
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: they tell you? Like gluten allergies. I have a friend
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: of mine who has celiacs. He has it for real.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: But he says it so many times, people don't believe him.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: when he says he has it.
- 1:07:26Speaker 11: I feel like people, if you say you have celiac disease,
- 1:07:29Speaker 11: you have to come ready with the strips and the
- 1:07:31Speaker 11: things that you test all your food, because if not,
- 1:07:33Speaker 11: I would probably be like, you're probably just sensitive to gluten.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because a lot of people say they have celiacs,
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: they're sensitive to gluten, but a lot of people, and
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: they say celiacs, like just say, you know.
- 1:07:43Speaker 13: Celiac, like gluten will kill you if you have celiac disease.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Right, right, right, right.
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: So let's call this segment, yeah, I don't buy it.
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: That's what we'll call this segment. All right, 877-937-1047.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: Thanks, Jayla. Thanks for calling in.
- 1:07:54Speaker 21: Thank you.
- 1:07:55Speaker 14: Have an idea for the show?
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: Today is your day.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Use the iHeartRadio app and talk back to us right now.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: What just don't you believe when people tell you?
- 1:08:06Speaker 10: Brenda.
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't buy it.
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: Brenda, good morning.
- 1:08:09Speaker 27: Good morning.
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: How are you?
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: Good.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: What's up?
- 1:08:12Speaker 27: So I was listening to a segment.
- 1:08:14Speaker 21: One thing that I cannot stand when people.
- 1:08:16Speaker 15: Say is like, oh, my gosh, I've been so busy.
- 1:08:18Speaker 21: I haven't been able to text you.
- 1:08:19Speaker 27: And you're like, it's been a week, dude.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: Yeah, see, I have an out for that, by the way.
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: You do?
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so if somebody texts me and then I'll respond
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: much later, days later, I'm not lying.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: I say, oh, I'm just reading this. It doesn't mean
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: that I didn't read it earlier.
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: So it's a truth of somewhatness.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, oh my God, I'm just reading this. Yeah,
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: I can meet you there tomorrow at four or whatever,
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: you know what I mean? But I don't say I
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: didn't see it, so I read it.
- 1:08:48Speaker 21: Yeah, but that's still like, I mean, everybody has their phones, like,
- 1:08:52Speaker 21: all the time.
- 1:08:52Speaker 24: And when people are like, oh, my gosh, I haven't
- 1:08:54Speaker 24: had time to text you, you're like, okay, but you.
- 1:08:55Speaker 15: Go to the restroom, right?
- 1:08:56Speaker 17: And you know people take their phones to the restroom.
- 1:08:59Speaker 16: That's true.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: That's true.
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: What you say to people. You could have texted me
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: on the toilet.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Well, that's what I was saying about Peyton the other day.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: When I texted Peyton and she didn't return my text,
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: I'm like, one thing I know about Peyton, she's on
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: her phone 24-7. Like, how does she not see my texts?
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: that's the part that I just, you know, you just
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: got to let it go.
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: Here's what I do. I fall on the sword right away. Hey,
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: you didn't respond to my set, my text. I usually go,
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: that's because I'm a terrible person. I'm so sorry. And
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: then you're kind of, you.
- 1:09:23Speaker 13: Know, why do you shame yourself?
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: Because I've seen my wife do it and get away
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: with it. Like when we're late for something and she'll
- 1:09:31Speaker 7: call ahead and she'll be like, you're going to want
- 1:09:33Speaker 7: to murder me. We're five minutes late. I'm like, nobody's
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: going to want to murder you because you're five minutes late.
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: But she says, if you go a little deeper, if
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: you go a little deeper, they forgive you. So, you know,
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: shame yourself. Yeah, that's true.
- 1:09:44Speaker 9: It's kind of genius, really.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Brenda, thanks for calling in. Thank you for listening.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: Ruby, what don't you just believe or buy?
- 1:09:53Speaker 16: I don't believe it when people say they like healthy food.
- 1:09:57Speaker 13: I'm with you on that.
- 1:09:59Speaker 16: All these people like, oh, I love the healthy.
- 1:10:01Speaker 21: No, you don't.
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: For years, Ruby, I've been telling the people who say
- 1:10:06Speaker 7: they love kale, they're just lying. Nobody loves kale.
- 1:10:09Speaker 16: Nobody loves kale.
- 1:10:10Speaker 19: You'll eat it, but nobody loves it.
- 1:10:11Speaker 7: We know it's good for you, but we don't love it.
- 1:10:13Speaker 26: Is it good for you?
- 1:10:14Speaker 13: I feel like kale is the controversial.
- 1:10:16Speaker 16: Kale chips are okay. It has sea salt.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Oh, kale chips, you're right. Those are pretty good.
- 1:10:22Speaker 7: Yeah, but you've got to load them up with salt.
- 1:10:25Speaker 16: I guess. Yeah.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: No, they come like that.
- 1:10:27Speaker 16: Load it up with something.
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: They come like that. You can buy them.
- 1:10:29Speaker 7: Out of the sea?
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: No, no, no. In the bag. You open up their
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: kale chips. They already have salt on them. They're good. Thanks, Ruby.
- 1:10:34Speaker 7: No, chips are good.
- 1:10:35Speaker 16: But no one's going to get them plain.
- 1:10:36Speaker 21: Yeah, no one's going to get them plain.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: Jen, what don't you believe?
- 1:10:40Speaker 25: I don't believe that work weeks can't be.
- 1:10:43Speaker 18: Only five days a week.
- 1:10:45Speaker 9: Like, come on.
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: No, four days a week. I mean, four days. Four
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: days a week.
- 1:10:49Speaker 23: It can be four days a week.
- 1:10:50Speaker 19: Come on.
- 1:10:50Speaker 9: We can do 10 hours four days a week.
- 1:10:53Speaker 18: Let's do it all across the board.
- 1:10:55Speaker 26: If all of Arizona can be, you know, we don't
- 1:10:58Speaker 26: have to have, you know, daylight savings, then of course
- 1:11:02Speaker 26: that we can have.
- 1:11:04Speaker 9: Four-day work week. Jen, I've been pushing the four-day work
- 1:11:06Speaker 9: week for years.
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: I am with you. She's been a pioneer, Kyle.
- 1:11:09Speaker 9: I will stand on that hill with you.
- 1:11:11Speaker 7: If you ran for office, Kyle, and that was your
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: only platform, you would win everything.
- 1:11:16Speaker 9: Let's do it together, Jen. We can run together.
- 1:11:18Speaker 24: We will.
- 1:11:19Speaker 8: We will.
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: Thank you, Jen. That's a great one.
- 1:11:23Speaker 16: Love you guys.
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: You too.
- 1:11:25Speaker 14: Bye.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Phones are going crazy, you guys.
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: Let me see. Hello. Good morning. John Jane Rich. Who's this?
- 1:11:31Speaker 10: Hi.
- 1:11:32Speaker 11: This is Val.
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: Hi, Val.
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: What are you doing? Where are you today? What part
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: of town?
- 1:11:37Speaker 20: I'm in Mesa.
- 1:11:38Speaker 18: On the highway to work in Phoenix.
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: Are you calling about the what don't you just believe?
- 1:11:43Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:11:43Speaker 18: I'm not sure if someone has said something similar, but
- 1:11:46Speaker 18: I don't believe when people say, I could have played
- 1:11:50Speaker 18: so-and-so sport, but I had an injury in high school.
- 1:11:56Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:11:56Speaker 16: Yes.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Good for you.
- 1:11:59Speaker 16: You're like, sure.
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: Probably we're going to make it in the majors.
- 1:12:02Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: That's so good.
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: Keep lying to yourself.
- 1:12:05Speaker 16: We all know that person.
- 1:12:06Speaker 17: Yes.
- 1:12:07Speaker 11: Val.
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: That's so good. Coming in hot.
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: Uncle Rico.
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: Hot take.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Thanks, Val. Thank you. Hey, Blake, good morning.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: What don't you just believe? What don't you buy?
- 1:12:17Speaker 22: I don't believe when people say they like matcha.
- 1:12:20Speaker 14: Matcha.
- 1:12:21Speaker 9: I'm with you.
- 1:12:23Speaker 13: I feel like the matcha, you got to judge it
- 1:12:24Speaker 13: up with some flavors.
- 1:12:25Speaker 14: It's such a cute drink.
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: My wife is so into matcha right now.
- 1:12:29Speaker 19: Yeah, sure.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: She goes to the farmer's market. She goes to Uptown
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Farmer's Market every Saturday just to get the matcha from
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: one booth because it's so delicious.
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: Really?
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: They put cinnamon in oat milk or something. I don't know.
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: Well, this Blake doesn't believe you're Blake. I know.
- 1:12:41Speaker 28: I know.
- 1:12:41Speaker 10: I know.
- 1:12:42Speaker 9: It's a battle of the Blakes. Watch out.
- 1:12:44Speaker 10: Thanks, Blake.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: Kelly, what don't you believe?
- 1:12:47Speaker 20: I don't believe it when people call in sick. Like,
- 1:12:51Speaker 20: I get it.
- 1:12:52Speaker 19: We don't want to go to.
- 1:12:53Speaker 15: Work, but you're not really sick, bro.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: I get that. I don't believe people ever.
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh. Remember, John Jay, when we used to
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: have people call in sick and you would have doctors
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: go to their house?
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: That's right. I didn't believe them.
- 1:13:05Speaker 11: Honestly, though, if you really are sick and down bad,
- 1:13:08Speaker 11: it's actually kind of helpful and useful to have a
- 1:13:10Speaker 11: doctor house call, so.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Like if you come in, Peyton, and you're sick, which
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: you've done many times, and then you're in the back
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: laying on the floor, I'd rather say, you're sick, go home.
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: Then people go, I'm sick. Oh, really?
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: You're out till four in the morning?
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: Yeah, here's how it works on this show, though. If
- 1:13:23Speaker 7: you come in sick, we're also mad at you for
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: coming in here and getting sick. So if you stay home,
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: we think you're faking. But if you come in, we're
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: mad at you for getting that sick.
- 1:13:30Speaker 13: There's no winning.
- 1:13:31Speaker 7: There's no winning. Just don't get sick.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: All right, Kelly, thanks for calling in.
- 1:13:36Speaker 19: Thanks.
- 1:13:36Speaker 20: Have a good day.
- 1:13:37Speaker 7: You too.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: Hey, Brittany. What don't you believe?
- 1:13:39Speaker 19: Hi.
- 1:13:40Speaker 20: I don't believe that radio hosts actually like the music
- 1:13:44Speaker 20: they have to play.
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: I think there are some songs we don't like.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: I like every song we play. The only time I
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: don't like the song is when we play it a
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: thousand times. Like if you Mario. Mario, and I was
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: going to say friggin' Miguel.
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: Miguel.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: We play Miguel so much, I was like, enough. Enough
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: of that.
- 1:14:02Speaker 9: I think we get sick of the song sooner than
- 1:14:04Speaker 9: maybe you do.
- 1:14:05Speaker 25: Because I will be honest, I listen to this channel
- 1:14:09Speaker 25: just for you guys.
- 1:14:11Speaker 16: Because I am not a fan of today's music. I
- 1:14:14Speaker 16: love you guys so much, though.
- 1:14:15Speaker 18: I know that's so controversial.
- 1:14:16Speaker 21: No!
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: Okay, hold on. Brittany, let's do a deep dive on you.
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: How old are you?
- 1:14:21Speaker 18: I am 36.
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: What kind of car do you drive?
- 1:14:24Speaker 28: I drive a Pathfinder.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: Are you Hispanic, black, Native American.
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: Or other?
- 1:14:33Speaker 16: Other.
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: Britney and Queen Creek.
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: Total white girl.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Do you have kids?
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: Are you married?
- 1:14:41Speaker 25: No, I'm married.
- 1:14:42Speaker 18: No kids.
- 1:14:43Speaker 28: But I am an old soul.
- 1:14:45Speaker 17: That's why.
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: No, you're right in our demographic. You're perfect. We'll take it.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: We'll take you, Brittany.
- 1:14:52Speaker 7: Don't ever change.
- 1:14:53Speaker 12: You know what?
- 1:14:54Speaker 11: Hold on.
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: We should get your number, and whenever we have a
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: question about a segment we want to do, we run
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: it by Brittany first.
- 1:15:00Speaker 17: Totally.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: We go, Brittany, what do you think?
- 1:15:02Speaker 13: She's like, please don't.
- 1:15:05Speaker 18: I'm going to get some real hate now, guys.
- 1:15:07Speaker 7: No, you're not.
- 1:15:08Speaker 9: No, we're saying we will literally take any listener we
- 1:15:10Speaker 9: can get.
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: We appreciate you.
- 1:15:13Speaker 7: You've got to recruit a few friends of yours, too.
- 1:15:15Speaker 7: We need all the help.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: Yeah, throw in a few Mexicans. We need some more
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Mexicans in there, too. That'd be great.
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: Oh, my goodness.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: There you go.
- 1:15:23Speaker 18: I will miss some songs you guys have gotten me
- 1:15:25Speaker 18: to like, but most, I'm.
- 1:15:27Speaker 28: Like, eh, did I really like that song?
- 1:15:30Speaker 19: Thanks, guys.
- 1:15:32Speaker 24: Love your show.
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: Love your show, too.
- 1:15:33Speaker 28: Thank you.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Here's some text messages real quick. I don't believe when
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: someone says they're so hungry they can eat a horse.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: I don't believe when people say I didn't sleep last
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: night or haven't slept in days. Really, after 48 hours,
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: you can just start hallucinating. Oh, this person says, I
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: don't believe this. For some reason, I've had several people
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: in the younger generation tell me they don't believe in
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Helen Keller. She's not a unicorn to choose whether or
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: not you believe she's a real person. I don't understand
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: when people say that.
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: Yeah, I've heard that a lot.
- 1:16:01Speaker 13: There's a lot of lore on the Helen Keller stuff.
- 1:16:05Speaker 13: It's like how?
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: It's a long rabbit hole.
- 1:16:07Speaker 15: Yes, it is.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Rich, it's not based on how many tables are unsat.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: It's about the servers and how busy they are.
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: That's why.
- 1:16:15Speaker 7: Oh, when I say there's no room for us in
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: the restaurant. Yeah, I realize that. But what I'm saying
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: is I don't buy that. I think you could sit
- 1:16:21Speaker 7: people down. John Jay and Rich, I saw all three avatars.
- 1:16:23Speaker 7: I crave a sparkling water and when I want a
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: treat and I love working out.
- 1:16:29Speaker 23: Cap.
- 1:16:29Speaker 9: I don't buy it.
- 1:16:30Speaker 14: I'm like, that was just a straight up lie.
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: Julie, what don't you believe?
- 1:16:35Speaker 16: I don't believe, you know, when you give someone a
- 1:16:38Speaker 16: helpful tip and they're like, oh, you learn something new
- 1:16:40Speaker 16: every day. Because you don't learn something new every day.
- 1:16:44Speaker 7: I don't buy it. I think I forget a lot
- 1:16:47Speaker 7: of really good advice every day, though. That's probably true.
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: I forget something every day.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: Thank you, Julie. Brenda, what don't you believe?
- 1:16:54Speaker 16: I don't believe when people say, my kids are the best,
- 1:16:57Speaker 16: they're the sweetest, they never get in trouble.
- 1:16:59Speaker 18: I just go, oh, really?
- 1:17:06Speaker 20: I don't believe it for a second.
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: No way.
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: Thank you, Brenda. Paul, what don't you believe?
- 1:17:12Speaker 27: I do not believe that elderly should have a license
- 1:17:16Speaker 27: past a certain age.
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: Wow, hot take.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: Where do you cut it off? Where's the elderly?
- 1:17:22Speaker 27: I'd say past the age of about 77, they should not.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: Be able to drive. I think they've got to pass
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: a test. They should be able to pass a test.
- 1:17:30Speaker 9: 77 can look very different for people.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Right, that's why you should pass a test. Because I
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: know my father-in-law, God bless him, he's 89. He hasn't
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: taken a driver's test since he was 16. And he's
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: one of those guys that drives and says, when he says,
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: look over here, his car goes that way.
- 1:17:43Speaker 11: Well, I mean, that's what the Arizona license is. They
- 1:17:46Speaker 11: don't expire for so long.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:17:48Speaker 13: You don't ever have to go back and check.
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: Take a test after.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Just like a pilot. Don't pilots have to get tests
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: every once.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: In a while?
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: I'm kind of on the same page as you, Paul.
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: They need to pass a test. Yeah.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: Thanks, brother.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: Thanks for listening. Emily's calling about stuff you don't believe.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: What don't you believe, Emily?
- 1:18:00Speaker 26: Hey, so I never believe when somebody is telling a story.
- 1:18:05Speaker 23: Or just a little silly scenario and they go, you
- 1:18:08Speaker 23: cannot make.
- 1:18:09Speaker 15: This stuff up.
- 1:18:10Speaker 18: Like most likely it's part of it or most of
- 1:18:13Speaker 18: it is made up.
- 1:18:16Speaker 9: That's funny.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: That's pretty good.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Thanks for calling in. That's so funny. I don't believe
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: that Drake is a good artist. I don't believe, I
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: don't believe there are any winners on the I heart contests.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: I don't believe that anyone likes the top dog commercials. Oh,
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: I don't believe when people say I've never had the flu.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: I don't believe Tupac is dead.
- 1:18:41Speaker 13: I'm with them.
- 1:18:43Speaker 7: You don't?
- 1:18:43Speaker 14: I agree.
- 1:18:44Speaker 13: Yeah, he's probably somewhere in Cuba.
- 1:18:45Speaker 11: Although I do have to say with his murder, like
- 1:18:47Speaker 11: with the trial going on right now and some of
- 1:18:49Speaker 11: those autopsy.
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: Pictures, I was like, ooh.
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: Yeah, that's him. He might be gone.
- 1:18:52Speaker 8: Okay, on that note, I really think I confused my nine-year-old.
- 1:18:56Speaker 8: So the kids are like really into Michael Jackson music.
- 1:19:00Speaker 8: And they're like, is Michael Jackson dead or alive? And
- 1:19:02Speaker 8: I said, oh, he passed away. I think it was
- 1:19:04Speaker 8: like 2007 or 2008-ish or something like that.
- 1:19:07Speaker 9: And they're like, oh, that's sad.
- 1:19:08Speaker 8: I go, you know, some people have a theory that
- 1:19:10Speaker 8: he didn't really die.
- 1:19:11Speaker 9: He faked his death. And they're like, what?
- 1:19:13Speaker 8: And I was like, yeah, there's this video where it
- 1:19:14Speaker 8: shows this person getting out of the ambulance that kind
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: of looks like it could have been him walking out.
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: And they're like, what? And I was like, it's just
- 1:19:20Speaker 9: a theory though. Some people believe it. Some people don't.
- 1:19:23Speaker 8: And then we just went about our day. And it's
- 1:19:25Speaker 8: been like a month since that conversation happened. And last
- 1:19:27Speaker 8: night Easton goes, but mom, Michael Jackson is alive, right?
- 1:19:32Speaker 9: Oh no, it was just a theory.
- 1:19:33Speaker 8: According to the world instead.
- 1:19:36Speaker 13: Literally, I'm like, you are rubbing off on them early.
- 1:19:40Speaker 15: Sorry.
- 1:19:40Speaker 9: He's like, but you showed me that video.
- 1:19:43Speaker 11: You showed him the video of him walking out of
- 1:19:45Speaker 11: the ambulance and now you're wondering why they're confused?
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:19:50Speaker 9: No, not Aunt Hesh. You're thinking of Aunt Hesh.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: No, I've seen the video where Michael gets out. There's
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: the ambulance, and you see the person walk either out
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: of the building or into the.
- 1:19:57Speaker 8: There's just a video of them, the Michael Jackson lookalike,
- 1:20:01Speaker 8: getting out of what would have been the ambulance.
- 1:20:03Speaker 9: They're just walking him in. It's not like.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Way to try on the thighs.
- 1:20:06Speaker 9: It's not graphic, right?
- 1:20:08Speaker 14: Broadcasting live across the world right now. This is the
- 1:20:13Speaker 14: John Jay and Rich radio program.
