- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a podcast called twenty five Wists stuck in
- 0:07Speaker 1: Fun and they all went room whist So, yeah, it's
- 0:10Speaker 1: super bad, but what did you expect. It's a podcast
- 0:14Speaker 1: called twenty five Whistles twenty wine. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome.
- 0:20Speaker 2: I'm glad you guys are here, and we're shooting this
- 0:24Speaker 2: from my house. So we're sitting in two regal type
- 0:29Speaker 2: chairs today to hope this makes you feel.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Important and loved.
- 0:32Speaker 3: The chairs are very nice.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you. Let's blow the whistle. Thank you.
- 0:36Speaker 2: I was actually just stalling so we get to the
- 0:38Speaker 2: whistle sound effect there, if I'm being honest. Oh, yeah,
- 0:40Speaker 2: glad you guys are here. I do want to start
- 0:42Speaker 2: with the Jeopardy clip if we have that ready to go.
- 0:44Speaker 2: So I was watching on TikTok and they were doing
- 0:47Speaker 2: around a Jeopardy and the three people that were answering
- 0:50Speaker 2: the questions could not be any more Jeopardy looking. And
- 0:53Speaker 2: I say that as somebody who is pretty Jeopardy looking himself.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Super nerdy, I.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Know what you're talking about.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I can fixture them too. The category is football.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Now, these are three very nerdy Jeopardy contestants who probably
- 1:07Speaker 2: I don't know don't know much about football. If I'm
- 1:09Speaker 2: judging based off appearances, and so this clip's off, we're
- 1:13Speaker 2: we're looking at here.
- 1:14Speaker 4: I broke it up into five different clips, so it's
- 1:16Speaker 4: each question is all right, here we go.
- 1:17Speaker 5: Your choice, do or don't? Name this play in which
- 1:21Speaker 5: the quarterback runs the ball and can choose to pitch
- 1:24Speaker 5: it to another back.
- 1:26Speaker 3: That's the option.
- 1:28Speaker 5: It's an option play.
- 1:30Speaker 1: They didn't get that one. They didn't get that one
- 1:32Speaker 1: or two hundred. It's a little tricky if you don't
- 1:33Speaker 1: know football. It's the easiest one. It's two hundred, all right?
- 1:36Speaker 1: For four hundred, Ryan Football four hundred.
- 1:41Speaker 5: I can tell you guys are a big football fans.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Tom Landry perfected the shotgun formation.
- 1:46Speaker 3: With this team, Dallas Cowboys.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboys. Do you think we should go to commercial?
- 1:57Speaker 1: All right? Six hundred, Brian, take it on a six? Okay?
- 2:00Speaker 5: By signaling for one of these, a returner can reel
- 2:03Speaker 5: in a kick without fear of getting tackled.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Fair catch, good, fair catch? Oh guys, nothing eight hundred.
- 2:16Speaker 5: Two clues left, Ryan, eight hundred. These penalties are simultaneous
- 2:21Speaker 5: violations by the offense and defense that cancel each other out.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Offsets offsetting penalty. That one dang, Okay, one more.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Let's look at the thousand dollars. Clue, just for the
- 2:36Speaker 5: fun of.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It, you me.
- 2:39Speaker 6: As Minneapolis as US Bank Stadium prepares to host Super
- 2:42Speaker 6: Bowl fifty two, I'm looking at the Ring of Honor
- 2:45Speaker 6: with names from this defensive line that took the Vikings
- 2:48Speaker 6: to four Super Bowls.
- 2:50Speaker 3: No clue.
- 2:52Speaker 5: If you guys ring in and get this one, I
- 2:56Speaker 5: will die. Who are the purple people Eaters?
- 3:01Speaker 1: But then you only got three of the five?
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean the easier ones. Purple people Heres? Who
- 3:07Speaker 3: was that?
- 3:07Speaker 1: Like?
- 3:08Speaker 3: The Vikings? Yeah, but do we know any of those players?
- 3:10Speaker 2: No? I just know because they're this is a funny
- 3:12Speaker 2: name for the defensive line. Yeah, it was before us,
- 3:14Speaker 2: back in the day. Yeah, Like I think I like
- 3:16Speaker 2: Frank Tarkington and I to get the credible people Eaters,
- 3:18Speaker 2: maybe even the same years.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But yeah, I know. I thought that clip was funny.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Because they didn't look like they would get football, and
- 3:23Speaker 2: then they didn't get any of the football's, even the
- 3:25Speaker 2: easiest one.
- 3:26Speaker 1: So there's that.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I was also looking at ESPN Fantasy and I'm always
- 3:31Speaker 2: curious to see who they have as like the projected first, second, third, fourth,
- 3:34Speaker 2: fifth pick.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Who do you think goes first overall?
- 3:39Speaker 3: First overall?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Saquonaquon that this is their rankings, isn't number four?
- 3:45Speaker 3: Oh wow? Okay, I mean it had to be a
- 3:50Speaker 3: running back. I want to put Seque dang.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I don't know, dude, Sorry, that isn't correct, and I
- 4:00Speaker 1: don't know Kevin. I'm taking a shot Jamar Chase correct.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Not a running back? Wow?
- 4:07Speaker 2: Jamar Chase at one, John Robinson at two, Justin Jefferson
- 4:10Speaker 2: at three, sa Que at four, Jamar Gibbs at five,
- 4:14Speaker 2: Ceedee Lamb at six, Christian McCaffrey at seven, who Canaku
- 4:18Speaker 2: had eight, Elak Neighbors at nine, and Aman Rossaint Brown
- 4:22Speaker 2: at ten.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Those are your top ten.
- 4:25Speaker 2: My favorite spot to get in a Snake draft is
- 4:28Speaker 2: probably like three or four. You get really one of
- 4:31Speaker 2: those first tier guys and then it's okay to wait
- 4:34Speaker 2: a little bit in the second round.
- 4:35Speaker 1: But quarterbacks, who's your number one quarterback?
- 4:40Speaker 3: Number one quarterback has to be.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Who's your number one quarterback you're drafting Jalen Hurts, Kevin
- 4:48Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Lamar Jackson's number one, Jalen Hurts number two, Joe Burrow
- 4:53Speaker 2: number three.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Where's my Home's at four?
- 4:56Speaker 7: Kay, he's ahead of Josh Allen.
- 4:58Speaker 2: He is, And again this is just their ranking, but
- 5:00Speaker 2: Josh Allen is at five, Josh Allen's at six after
- 5:03Speaker 2: Jaden Daniels.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Oh wow wow. Yeah, and Jame's gonna have a crazy
- 5:07Speaker 3: year man.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Baker, Mayfield and bow Knicks in the top ten. Though.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Let's go it's weird because they have Anthony Richardson at
- 5:15Speaker 2: like fourteen. I don't think he starts. I don't think
- 5:18Speaker 2: he's gonna be a started quarterback.
- 5:19Speaker 7: Is he really in the top fifteen?
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yeah, because it goes.
- 5:23Speaker 2: One, two, three, four, five, six is Josh Allen, nine
- 5:27Speaker 2: is Kyler Murray, eleven is Anthony Richardson.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Wow.
- 5:31Speaker 2: And I would bet almost dollars to donuts that he's
- 5:36Speaker 2: not even the starter whenever the season starts, because.
- 5:38Speaker 1: That will be.
- 5:40Speaker 3: For the Colts.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah, well you get a brush up. Gosh, who is
- 5:45Speaker 1: the quarterback for the Colts? Thank you? That is incorrect? Nothing,
- 5:51Speaker 1: uh uh, Kevin.
- 5:52Speaker 7: That would be Daniel Jones.
- 5:54Speaker 1: That's correct.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I think Ken's up winning the starting job there. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:58Speaker 2: so that's weird. I guess if Anton rich and starts,
- 6:00Speaker 2: he's gonna get you a bunch of points on the ground.
- 6:02Speaker 1: He's gonna run the ball, and.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, those those yards are a little easier to get
- 6:06Speaker 2: at least for points. It's one for ten instead of
- 6:08Speaker 2: one for twenty or twenty five, depending on your scoring
- 6:10Speaker 2: system is Mike, you look forward to fantasy or no.
- 6:13Speaker 4: I do the only thing. I'm like semi decent net
- 6:16Speaker 4: that people don't expect me to be because I don't
- 6:20Speaker 4: know if you like people think I don't know a
- 6:21Speaker 4: lot about football.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you can just read and watch. You don't have
- 6:24Speaker 2: to actually play. Yeah right, Yeah. Do you ever win
- 6:27Speaker 2: your league?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Ever won in the league I've gotten?
- 6:29Speaker 3: No.
- 6:29Speaker 4: I finished in like fourth last year. That's the closest
- 6:32Speaker 4: I've ever got.
- 6:32Speaker 3: You ever won the league? Not our league? I won
- 6:35Speaker 3: one league that doesn't count. It was a work league
- 6:37Speaker 3: and it was I traded with someone who had no
- 6:39Speaker 3: idea what they were doing. Yeah, that's the only way
- 6:41Speaker 3: I won.
- 6:41Speaker 1: That's like somebody and not to hurt your feelings, but that's.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Like you're going to it's like somebody going, yeah album,
- 6:46Speaker 2: it's doable A bracket before Yeah, why I do thirteen
- 6:48Speaker 2: every year with random people? And I just no, you
- 6:52Speaker 2: really can only talk about the league you're in together
- 6:54Speaker 2: if you're like, hey, have you won the league?
- 6:55Speaker 3: And what's crazy about our league is I've made the
- 6:57Speaker 3: playoffs before, but I always lose the first round. Like
- 7:00Speaker 3: it just I don't know, man, I I don't take
- 7:04Speaker 3: a lot. I don't take a lot of trades, and
- 7:07Speaker 3: even like sometimes and I'd say, in the last like
- 7:09Speaker 3: three years, I've tried to make trades with people, but
- 7:12Speaker 3: they will not trade with me.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But now you're the person that doesn't want to take
- 7:15Speaker 1: the trade.
- 7:15Speaker 3: No, I think that's what that was my problem before.
- 7:17Speaker 3: But now I'm trying to make moves because I know,
- 7:19Speaker 3: I understand.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Terrible at even having that negotiation, because you're not gonna
- 7:23Speaker 2: do a trade unless you win.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And nobody's gonna get it in the trale.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I do fair trades. You don't.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I do bullcrap trades. I feel like.
- 7:30Speaker 3: People in our league don't want to make a risky trade.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Trade is always risky. But you're that person.
- 7:36Speaker 2: No, dude, I tried to know you're that person that
- 7:39Speaker 2: you're talking about.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Have you?
- 7:41Speaker 3: Oh, you always try to screw me on trades?
- 7:42Speaker 2: No, I try, I said out it's not screwing people.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I send out wils and deals all the time. Every
- 7:47Speaker 2: day I'm sending that three or four.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yeah, ears are bad, but.
- 7:50Speaker 2: That's what you automatically think based on who I am,
- 7:52Speaker 2: not at the meat of the actual trade.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I can get. I bet to you we can trade
- 7:56Speaker 3: this year.
- 7:57Speaker 1: That's also not even something you say or good.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Definitely trade. I think every year you have to trade
- 8:02Speaker 3: because like every time I think I draft a great team,
- 8:06Speaker 3: it's never the case.
- 8:07Speaker 1: But everybody thinks they draft a great sea correct.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what starts.
- 8:11Speaker 2: So the ESPN NFL deals interesting because the NFL get
- 8:14Speaker 2: basically of everything, all their media, their house, NFL films,
- 8:19Speaker 2: all to ESPN to own ten percent of ESPN, crazy yeah,
- 8:23Speaker 2: big deal, and NFL media itself, NFL network. They really
- 8:26Speaker 2: weren't cutting through at the level I think they would
- 8:28Speaker 2: have liked to. And they know ESPN has the infrastructure
- 8:31Speaker 2: to actually build that brand out NFL and.
- 8:34Speaker 1: So that's pretty sick though.
- 8:35Speaker 2: To get ten percent of ESPN, oh yeah, I'm sure
- 8:38Speaker 2: they could have sold it for like a billion or
- 8:39Speaker 2: something whatever that number is. But to get ten percent
- 8:41Speaker 2: of ESPN, that's pretty awesome and there's an interest now
- 8:45Speaker 2: in ESPN succeeding, so some of the changes are like
- 8:50Speaker 2: red Zone channel will be on ESPN.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Oh I saw that, dude. That scares me. Why that
- 8:55Speaker 3: scares me a big time because then they're going to
- 8:56Speaker 3: start selling out. I don't know. They're not saying they're
- 8:58Speaker 3: doing this yet, but if they start doingmmercials during red Zone,
- 9:00Speaker 3: we're screwed.
- 9:01Speaker 2: They did that last year, not not my red zone.
- 9:03Speaker 2: They showed commercials occasionally. Yeah, oh the first time ever?
- 9:07Speaker 7: Was it like up in the small box or whatever?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a commercial.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Oh, but don't change the ad, but you can still
- 9:12Speaker 3: see the action.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I don't. I think they cut away a little A
- 9:15Speaker 1: couple of times it was there was uproar.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Did you remember people being really mad about it?
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 9:20Speaker 2: But that show bits baby, I know. And also ESPN's
- 9:23Speaker 2: not getting it this year right now?
- 9:25Speaker 3: Is it twenty twenty?
- 9:26Speaker 1: I think it's It.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Could possibly be next year right six six? Yeah, So
- 9:29Speaker 2: you can still watch it, I and you will still
- 9:32Speaker 2: watch it even with commercials.
- 9:33Speaker 3: They were gonna miss the big play because we're gonna
- 9:35Speaker 3: be watching a bounty commercial.
- 9:37Speaker 1: You won't.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And I would bet they probably split it they did
- 9:41Speaker 2: say that John Hanson Wright that's the name.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not John, is it Chris Scott? Scott got Hanson.
- 9:48Speaker 1: It's like Chris does catch creditor.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Gosh, those guys are so good, Like he is so
- 9:55Speaker 3: good to talk for six freaking hours.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Yeah, so he'll still be doing He announced that because
- 10:01Speaker 1: people were like, if you put Steven A. Smith on this,
- 10:03Speaker 1: we're going to rope.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Can you imagine?
- 10:05Speaker 1: Can you just be yelling at you the whole time?
- 10:09Speaker 1: So I think it's an interesting deal.
- 10:14Speaker 2: ESPN is also going to do a direct consumer where
- 10:17Speaker 2: you pay like nineteen ninety nine a month, But again,
- 10:19Speaker 2: that isn't for people that already have it on cable
- 10:22Speaker 2: or that already have it on YouTube TV. You're going
- 10:24Speaker 2: to continue to get that, but it's for people who don't.
- 10:26Speaker 2: And just like how you have ner Netflix subscriptions, Yeah,
- 10:30Speaker 2: how you have your that is what you can get
- 10:32Speaker 2: ESPN on.
- 10:33Speaker 1: That will be a little more robust.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Another one of the interesting things that came out of
- 10:36Speaker 2: this is that Disney Plus is going to be the
- 10:38Speaker 2: hub for even Hulu.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Hulu's going to not be an app anymore.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Wow.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I think it's still because it's already a family, right, Yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 1: they're all owned by Disney.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think Disney is going to uh inhale
- 10:50Speaker 2: the Hulu and I think Hulu is still a brand
- 10:52Speaker 2: and they'll still come out on Hulu, but from what
- 10:54Speaker 2: I read, it will no longer be an app. They're
- 10:56Speaker 2: going to move everything over to Disney Plus. Cool.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Mike, your thoughts did you see that? Yeah?
- 11:00Speaker 4: I don't like it because I just feel like it
- 11:02Speaker 4: starts to like muddle where everything is and then everything's
- 11:04Speaker 4: just going to be one big streaming service at some point.
- 11:06Speaker 3: But don't you like it that way where it's just
- 11:07Speaker 3: one place you go to instead of getting out of
- 11:09Speaker 3: that app and going over to another one and watching
- 11:12Speaker 3: something there. Like on Sundays when I'm trying to watch
- 11:14Speaker 3: golf and NASCAR at the same time. Dude, it's tough.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I've got to go to ESPN Plus to watch golf,
- 11:19Speaker 3: then I have to go out and watch you know,
- 11:21Speaker 3: TNT to watch Nascar. It's a pain.
- 11:25Speaker 1: ESPN Plus is awesome.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Now that's a different than we're talking about as far
- 11:28Speaker 2: as them joining and buying NFL, and the ESPN Plus
- 11:30Speaker 2: is awesome because they have just put cameras at random
- 11:33Speaker 2: schools to just watch events.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Yeah, like even like.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Arkansas, so offtball, every game is up, even if there's
- 11:39Speaker 2: not like a full booth.
- 11:40Speaker 1: They're working.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Somebody works remotely and they still have the cameras and
- 11:43Speaker 2: they have students able to run the cameras. That's what
- 11:46Speaker 2: that are put up there at those fields.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I've seen that happen at local schools here where
- 11:50Speaker 3: like they're running cameras. Those students are running cameras, and
- 11:52Speaker 3: I'm like, are you running for ESPN? Like, yeah, we
- 11:54Speaker 3: run for anyone that wants it, but ESPN's are main
- 11:57Speaker 3: but no high schools, no colleges got it. Yeah, like
- 11:59Speaker 3: lipscumb College.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 2: SOS is awesome because you can watch even sports you
- 12:03Speaker 2: wouldn't normally see, regardless of small schools and sports that
- 12:06Speaker 2: you do see, even sports you don't normally watch. I
- 12:09Speaker 2: think at freaking lacrosse and horse ray, I don't ever
- 12:11Speaker 2: watch the horse jumping and stuff.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Oh the question.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, eighth Pan.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Plus they also are doing like a lot of the
- 12:18Speaker 3: Savannah bananas that that that league.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I saw that on Disney Plus.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty cool because I'd never really seen like I've
- 12:25Speaker 3: seen Savannah Banas. But I've never seen the firefighters or
- 12:27Speaker 3: the other teams. Tailgators, Yeah, tailgators.
- 12:30Speaker 2: So you can see those two now You mad at
- 12:32Speaker 2: Colin Cowherd, Yeah, dude, Like what's what's what's he doing?
- 12:34Speaker 3: Like why is he? Why is he making such a
- 12:37Speaker 3: big deal out of Brian Schottenheimer's visor.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So I'm gonna play this audio if you want to
- 12:42Speaker 1: hit that first.
- 12:43Speaker 8: You know, I don't like backward hats. What's worse as
- 12:46Speaker 8: a backward visor? That's a two win team, I'm taking
- 12:49Speaker 8: away four wins. So when you sit in front of
- 12:52Speaker 8: a podium, you're representing the Cowboys, you're representing Bank of America,
- 12:56Speaker 8: You're representing a twelve billion dollar corporation. I think you
- 13:00Speaker 8: got to do better as a head coach than advisor backwards.
- 13:03Speaker 8: There's a reason that country clubs and private clubs you
- 13:06Speaker 8: have to wear collared shirts and jackets.
- 13:08Speaker 1: There's a reason for that, Like there's a standard.
- 13:10Speaker 8: I don't want to look like a guy that's here
- 13:12Speaker 8: to move my couch, Like, I want you to do
- 13:14Speaker 8: better than that.
- 13:15Speaker 3: So you don't like that country clubs like a standard.
- 13:19Speaker 3: This is football, man, and this is preseason football. And
- 13:23Speaker 3: Bill Belichick stands up there with the torn off sleeves
- 13:26Speaker 3: of a sweatshirt, Like, what's he talking about?
- 13:29Speaker 1: So this has been a coward thing for like ten
- 13:31Speaker 1: years at this point.
- 13:31Speaker 3: The backwards hatten.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Yeah, if a quarterback goes up to a press conference
- 13:34Speaker 2: with backward hat, he's like, turn your hat around, like
- 13:36Speaker 2: you're supposed to be the leader of the team, like
- 13:38Speaker 2: I want my leaders with their callers. Starts their shirts
- 13:41Speaker 2: tucked in there, and he just makes a general observation
- 13:45Speaker 2: about winners and leaders and how they all have similar traits.
- 13:49Speaker 2: The backwards hat has been a thing for like Baker Mayfield,
- 13:51Speaker 2: he's just brought people up. Tony Romo a lot, Yeah,
- 13:54Speaker 2: would go up and be like, this is not the
- 13:55Speaker 2: guy you don't go up with a backward hat, So
- 13:57Speaker 2: it's kind of been his thing. I did see that
- 14:00Speaker 2: Ottenhimer went up day two and his hat was backwards Advisor.
- 14:03Speaker 2: He flipped it around and he goes, I don't.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Want sorry, Colin.
- 14:06Speaker 1: So it's it's it's.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Much I do about a shtick that cowhard does, so
- 14:11Speaker 2: don't be personally offended by it.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I did hear a cool story about why Brian Schottenheimer
- 14:14Speaker 3: wears advisor when he when he worked at Florida behind Spurrier,
- 14:18Speaker 3: he was the His job when Spurrier would take his
- 14:22Speaker 3: advisor off and throw it, his job was to get
- 14:24Speaker 3: the visor and give it back to coach. And so
- 14:27Speaker 3: he say, he's like, it's kind of just an honor
- 14:28Speaker 3: now to like wear a visor for coach Spurrier. He's like,
- 14:32Speaker 3: I've been doing it ever since. I didn't know that.
- 14:34Speaker 3: That's pretty cool.
- 14:35Speaker 1: That's pretty cool.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Another one of the things ESPN is getting, by the way,
- 14:38Speaker 2: speaking of that is h WWE.
- 14:41Speaker 1: They're going to get some of the PL's you know
- 14:43Speaker 1: is put pay you're in the right ballpark.
- 14:50Speaker 2: But the word's not pay pay Yola, no, no, no, purchase, purchase, purchase.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Premium live event.
- 14:59Speaker 2: It's basically what used to pay per views because pay
- 15:01Speaker 2: per views don't really exist anymore because these networks pay
- 15:04Speaker 2: billions to have them.
- 15:07Speaker 1: So that's where.
- 15:07Speaker 2: They're making their money in that relationship, and more people
- 15:09Speaker 2: are getting to see it.
- 15:10Speaker 1: So both were getting.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Like Peacock, a big part of Peacock having any success
- 15:15Speaker 2: early was having that library of.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Wwe' That's the only reason I have Peacock, that's the
- 15:19Speaker 4: only thing I use it for so.
- 15:21Speaker 2: WrestleMania will be a part of ESPN's new direct consumer
- 15:24Speaker 2: streaming service starting in twenty twenty six, thanks to an
- 15:26Speaker 2: agreement ESPN's.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Wheeling and dealing right now, Yeah, man making moves.
- 15:29Speaker 2: The deal announced Wednesday includes two night events such as
- 15:32Speaker 2: WrestleMania and SummerSlam, and just goes through that. ESPN will
- 15:36Speaker 2: launch a streaming service August twenty first, twenty nine ninety
- 15:38Speaker 2: nine per month, and we'll still keep the linear network's name,
- 15:41Speaker 2: which is ESPN. Obviously, it will allow users to get
- 15:44Speaker 2: all seven of ESPN's domestic linear networks, in addition to
- 15:48Speaker 2: ESPN on ABC and several other streaming options. The WWE
- 15:51Speaker 2: has streamed on Peacock and will be all of this year.
- 15:55Speaker 3: We got to get UFC on this.
- 15:57Speaker 1: UFC still still pay pay per view.
- 16:00Speaker 3: They'll do fight nights on ESPN, but now the big
- 16:04Speaker 3: Big Fights is always pay per view. Eighty bucks. You pay,
- 16:07Speaker 3: you pay for it, though, Yeah, I don't what happened.
- 16:10Speaker 3: They get me because they the prelims are free. So
- 16:12Speaker 3: I'll watch the prelims and then I'm like, well I can't.
- 16:14Speaker 3: I was not watch it.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Now I gotta watch the next five fights. Oh yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 2: so I pay for it. They walk into it. Yeah,
- 16:21Speaker 2: you're like, I'm not paying for it. About four and
- 16:23Speaker 2: you start to itch. You're like, I need to see
- 16:25Speaker 2: the big one because they're.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Pumping it out the whole time. Yeah, that's good. All right,
- 16:29Speaker 1: we'll come back.
- 16:29Speaker 2: There's been a coach who has been banned from coaching.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I think, I mean, I understand why, but it seems
- 16:36Speaker 2: a bit unjust. We'll talk about that coming up and
- 16:39Speaker 2: then I'm gonna give the boys my meat in a minute,
- 16:42Speaker 2: and you're gonna put in your mouth and.
- 16:43Speaker 1: You're don't like it.
- 16:43Speaker 3: No, I don't want to do That's right.
- 16:45Speaker 1: We will be back.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Hey, I want to talk about Teddy Bridgewater for a second.
- 16:54Speaker 2: So Teddy Bridgewater he coached that team to a state
- 16:57Speaker 2: championship in football, which which is crazy. He was spend
- 17:00Speaker 2: it last month by Miami Northwestern for using his own
- 17:04Speaker 2: money to provide food, uber rides and other services to
- 17:07Speaker 2: his players. Bridgewater is signing a deal to play with
- 17:09Speaker 2: the Tampa Buccaneers again this year. The team was in
- 17:12Speaker 2: the market for a new backup. Baker Mayfield obviously the quarterback,
- 17:15Speaker 2: but the story is he comes from a school coach
- 17:19Speaker 2: at the school.
- 17:19Speaker 1: That they didn't have a lot.
- 17:21Speaker 2: So yep, okay, it's against the rules, But you also
- 17:24Speaker 2: got to look, he didn't get suspended for being like
- 17:26Speaker 2: a bad dude or cheating.
- 17:27Speaker 1: He got suspended for like paying so these guys could
- 17:30Speaker 1: eat when they were at the facility.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Isn't that crazy?
- 17:33Speaker 2: And it's not backward in the way of it is
- 17:36Speaker 2: within the rules and it's keeping people from cheating. But
- 17:39Speaker 2: you wish there was some sort of body that could
- 17:41Speaker 2: come in and go instead of just throwing a blanket
- 17:44Speaker 2: over it. You've raised a flag. You would like us
- 17:47Speaker 2: to investigate this and we see exactly what you were doing. Heck,
- 17:50Speaker 2: there are advantages to rich schools over poor schools, and
- 17:52Speaker 2: you were just trying to somewhat eliminate that. Because I
- 17:55Speaker 2: feel like after hearing about it for about a week
- 17:58Speaker 2: or so and looking into it, I feel like that's
- 17:59Speaker 2: all he is doing was trying to make it so
- 18:02Speaker 2: his players could eat, so they could practice well, get
- 18:06Speaker 2: rides toocice and that's what it was. So justice for
- 18:09Speaker 2: Teddy Bridgewaters what.
- 18:10Speaker 3: I sa sake time?
- 18:11Speaker 1: So the suspension was it suspension to be a.
- 18:13Speaker 3: High school coach.
- 18:14Speaker 1: The thing was, he wasn't even getting paid, like even
- 18:16Speaker 1: as the head coach. He was like a volunteer.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I'm ninety nine percent positive he was volunteering as a
- 18:21Speaker 2: head coach. They wasn't even getting paid and they suspended him.
- 18:24Speaker 1: You may look that up, Mike.
- 18:26Speaker 2: The NFL has and this story has changed a bit
- 18:28Speaker 2: over the last couple of days. They have been smelling
- 18:30Speaker 2: salts and the reason is because they say it can
- 18:34Speaker 2: mask concussion symptoms.
- 18:36Speaker 1: So if you can cuss, you go over.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Whoo, You're like, oh, I got a little peppa, My
- 18:41Speaker 2: step a little quicker.
- 18:44Speaker 1: So they're like, hey, we have to cut this.
- 18:46Speaker 2: But the new thing that's been brought in is that
- 18:48Speaker 2: players can bring their own The NFL just can't provide
- 18:51Speaker 2: them anymore. Oh, you can bring it in your Bed's
- 18:53Speaker 2: not that big of a deal, okay, because like George
- 18:54Speaker 2: Kittle does it like ten times a game.
- 18:57Speaker 3: That's why he's so excited.
- 18:58Speaker 2: So that was a big part of It's like due
- 19:00Speaker 2: I use smelling salts all the time, and the NFL
- 19:03Speaker 2: had to recome out and go like, look, players can
- 19:05Speaker 2: still do their thing, but we can't provide them, which
- 19:07Speaker 2: we have forever. It's probably a legal thing because if
- 19:10Speaker 2: players are using them to mass concussions, and the NFL
- 19:13Speaker 2: has been on the hook.
- 19:13Speaker 1: For not.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Sharing all they know about concussions, then of course they
- 19:19Speaker 2: have to make it to where they're not part of
- 19:22Speaker 2: the problem or they're not making the problem worse, and.
- 19:25Speaker 1: The NFL can still provide pickle juice. I believe pickle
- 19:28Speaker 1: juice is fine. Okay, good, Yeah, he.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Was not paid volunteer.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Wow, so he's no longer allowed to volunteer.
- 19:37Speaker 3: It's crazy. After winning a state championship, he's probably like,
- 19:39Speaker 3: what is happening right now?
- 19:41Speaker 1: Well, he gets to go back and play in the NFL.
- 19:43Speaker 2: And remember after he finished, he went back to the
- 19:45Speaker 2: Lions and was back up to golf right after he
- 19:48Speaker 2: won the state championship.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Remember that, like two weeks later he was up in Detroit.
- 19:52Speaker 1: At least he was on the team. I think he
- 19:54Speaker 1: played for a bit. I think golf got hurt and
- 19:55Speaker 1: he had to go in the game for a little bit.
- 19:58Speaker 1: The College Football First Coaches Poll is out. This is
- 20:03Speaker 1: without knowing anything. I love it. I wouldn't say without
- 20:08Speaker 1: knowing anything.
- 20:08Speaker 2: You got a schedule, right, and you also know all
- 20:11Speaker 2: the players because they're all back. Like, you know what
- 20:14Speaker 2: teams have quarterbacks that are successful. Number one is Texas, Mike.
- 20:19Speaker 4: I don't like it.
- 20:20Speaker 7: It puts the target on her back.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but here's the thing. Number two is Ohio State.
- 20:23Speaker 2: In week one, Texas and Ohio State.
- 20:25Speaker 3: I love it.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Yeah, but then everybody's like, oh, they're number one and
- 20:29Speaker 4: they're gonna suck. They're not gonna make it back.
- 20:31Speaker 2: That's a crazy first week number one and number two playing.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I don't know that that's I've ever seen that happen
- 20:37Speaker 2: before week one, the number one and number two teams play.
- 20:41Speaker 3: That's gonna be fun. Hey, don't worry, Mike. You're playing
- 20:44Speaker 3: Sam Houston State like week four.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and you play it like three times, so not
- 20:49Speaker 1: a big deal.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Penn State's at three, Georgia's at four, Notre Dames at five,
- 20:52Speaker 2: Clemson at six, Oregon at seven, Alabama at eight, LSU
- 20:56Speaker 2: at nine, and Miami at ten.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Arkansas did it put in baby? They got fourteen votes
- 21:03Speaker 1: that put them at twenty six or seven twenty eight.
- 21:05Speaker 3: That's way that they won.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Thirty two, thirty three, thirty four, thirty five, thirty six,
- 21:08Speaker 2: thirty seven thirty eight, thirty nine, forty You.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Have to count thirty one, forty two, forty third.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, yeah, he flipped the paper of a
- 21:18Speaker 3: couple of days too.
- 21:20Speaker 2: We play Notre Dame at Arkansas. Dishoar, that's gonna be awesome, dude,
- 21:24Speaker 2: isn't that crazy? We played Notre Dame at Arkansas. Uh so,
- 21:29Speaker 2: I've not seen so little interest in Arkansas's football being
- 21:34Speaker 2: successful ever until this year.
- 21:37Speaker 1: It sucks.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Now we could be listen with the portal and it's
- 21:42Speaker 2: by Petrino second year to being the head coach, or
- 21:44Speaker 2: say head coach being the offensive coordinator. Yeah, I know
- 21:50Speaker 2: it's it kind of sucks, and I hope I'm wrong.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I hope.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Obviously the most important thing to me. I would cut
- 21:55Speaker 2: off a finger for a national championship.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I might jam a finger just to get in the
- 22:02Speaker 1: colleg football playoff.
- 22:04Speaker 3: A jam is worth it.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Like threw me a basketball over and over to
- 22:07Speaker 2: a jam. This thing like it is the most important
- 22:10Speaker 2: thing to me.
- 22:11Speaker 1: So yeah, that's what's up. I do want to go
- 22:14Speaker 1: over to Brandon.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Brandon has something happening in his life and he wants
- 22:17Speaker 2: our advice, and is it like a anniversary trip, Brandon,
- 22:22Speaker 2: Is that what it is?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:23Speaker 9: So September fifth is Alyssa and my Alyssa and me.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It doesn't matter, Okay.
- 22:30Speaker 9: It's our tenth anniversary. And her parents were like, hey,
- 22:34Speaker 9: we we want to come. We're going to watch your
- 22:36Speaker 9: four year old. You guys go do something fun, you know.
- 22:39Speaker 9: So my wife is a massive football fan, Like she
- 22:44Speaker 9: knows more about football than a lot of people that
- 22:46Speaker 9: I know, big Steelers fan, but all around you know,
- 22:50Speaker 9: football in general. So it's like, hey, like, you know,
- 22:53Speaker 9: we don't want to fly because we'd be gone like
- 22:55Speaker 9: Friday to Monday, you know. And it's you know, the
- 22:59Speaker 9: first week of regular season games. So we're looking between Indianapolis.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Easy Drive by the way, yep, and Indianapolis.
- 23:08Speaker 9: Is playing the Dolphins or Atlanta and it's Buccaneers Falcons,
- 23:16Speaker 9: and so I don't know, like I was just gonna
- 23:17Speaker 9: ask you guys, like, what's you know, what's what's a
- 23:21Speaker 9: better what's a better trip in your eyes?
- 23:24Speaker 1: You know, that's a good question.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I think if I were going to pick one of
- 23:27Speaker 2: those two games out, because you don't really have a
- 23:29Speaker 2: favorite team of those, No, you're just going to experience
- 23:32Speaker 2: something yeah, so there are some things you should weig out.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Number one, the drive to Atlanta is a little shorter
- 23:37Speaker 2: than the driving Indianapolis, right, not by much, by forty
- 23:40Speaker 2: five minutes or so.
- 23:41Speaker 1: At factor that in. What about cost like hotels?
- 23:45Speaker 9: Okay, so this surprised me. Hotels in Atlanta are cheaper
- 23:51Speaker 9: than Indianapolis and staying right beside the stadium. Plus, we
- 23:55Speaker 9: love the traffic in Atlanta, you know you love it,
- 23:59Speaker 9: love it.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I think I would go to Indianapolis. You would, Okay,
- 24:03Speaker 2: I think I'd rather go watch Indianapolis and the Dolphins.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Have you been to that stadium?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Yeah? I went to Super Bowl there.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's right.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I think feel like I've been a couple of times.
- 24:11Speaker 1: The stadiums.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Both the stadiums gonna be awesome because Aslanta's got the
- 24:13Speaker 2: new football stadium, Mercedes Ben's Dome or whatever it is. Yeah,
- 24:17Speaker 2: I think i'd probably if I were picking, I think
- 24:19Speaker 2: i'd want to go watch of all of those teams,
- 24:23Speaker 2: the Colts and Dolphins.
- 24:26Speaker 3: You I think I want to see I'm a child,
- 24:28Speaker 3: so I'm thinking like superstars. Who am I going to see?
- 24:30Speaker 3: I want to see Tyreek Hill. I'd like to see
- 24:32Speaker 3: Tyreek Hill. I'd like to see Tua. I'd like to see.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Okay, who are the biggest superstars period? Of those four teams?
- 24:39Speaker 1: Let's rank them.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Okay, there's Baker, Yeah, Baker.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Do you think Baker's number one of all four of
- 24:43Speaker 1: those teams?
- 24:44Speaker 3: I think it'd be cool to see Baker.
- 24:45Speaker 1: But I'm just talking about bigger superstars.
- 24:47Speaker 3: I think Tyreek Hill probably, Yeah.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I think Tyreek.
- 24:52Speaker 2: I think Tua is a bigger I think he's a
- 24:56Speaker 2: bigger star than Tyreek. I don't know, know that than
- 24:59Speaker 2: Baker than Baker saying better quarterback. But on the Dolphins,
- 25:05Speaker 2: those two on the Colts.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I got no one.
- 25:12Speaker 9: Oh Daniel Jones.
- 25:15Speaker 3: You want to see Daniel Jones?
- 25:16Speaker 1: Can we see Atlanta Michael Pennox?
- 25:18Speaker 2: But again, I wouldn't say superstar yet. He only played
- 25:21Speaker 2: a couple of games last year.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Of for crappy. I mean, Atlanta's got a pretty good
- 25:27Speaker 3: team that, like the receivers are really good too, Like
- 25:30Speaker 3: I feel like that would be good.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Gosh, man, I think I think personally, if I were picking,
- 25:34Speaker 2: i'd want to go up to Indianapolis and watch that game.
- 25:37Speaker 9: Okay, and we were like, is are there some cool
- 25:41Speaker 9: things to do in the Indianapolis You know.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Oh that's a whole different thing.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Atlanta has far more, but it's far more spread out
- 25:47Speaker 2: because city is just much bigger. I think Indianapolis the
- 25:49Speaker 2: vibe will be much cooler around the stadium because it's
- 25:52Speaker 2: a much smaller market, and they love their team more
- 25:54Speaker 2: because it's when there's less to do somewhere, what there
- 25:57Speaker 2: is to do, people are more passionate about. I like it.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I think that's probably Michael, what would you do?
- 26:01Speaker 7: I'd go to Andy.
- 26:02Speaker 4: We were there what a couple of years ago. I
- 26:04Speaker 4: liked it there. That stadium looks cool from the outside.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't go in the stadium. We went to
- 26:09Speaker 3: a Pacers game. But yeah, I've never been there, but Indie.
- 26:12Speaker 3: I mean yeah, in the drive, I remember the drive
- 26:14Speaker 3: being like a lot shorter than I thought it was.
- 26:16Speaker 4: There's the exact same distance four hours, four and a
- 26:18Speaker 4: half hour.
- 26:19Speaker 9: Here you go, dude, and way less traffic in Indianapolis
- 26:23Speaker 9: for sure.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, because you like, like that's your thing, like it's
- 26:26Speaker 2: the best, big, big non.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Traffic guy we here. Yeah, cool, that's awesome. Thanks guys,
- 26:32Speaker 1: When are you doing that?
- 26:33Speaker 9: It'll be the weekend of September fifth.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I think I'm a third. I'm gonna go to a
- 26:37Speaker 1: Cubs game.
- 26:38Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm going with you, buddy.
- 26:45Speaker 1: You are right, because you're gonna go shoot content.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 26:48Speaker 9: But even if I wasn't, I would just follow what
- 26:51Speaker 9: are you doing?
- 26:51Speaker 3: Are you just gonna go watch? What are you doing?
- 26:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna go up and be a guest.
- 26:55Speaker 2: There's a couple of barstool shows that I'm gonna go
- 26:58Speaker 2: be a guest on. And then while i'm there, I'm
- 26:59Speaker 2: gonna go to the Cubs game. It's Cubs and Braves.
- 27:02Speaker 1: That's awesome. So, I mean, I don't know that you
- 27:04Speaker 1: can't go me.
- 27:06Speaker 3: I'll look at the calendar. I think that'd be amazing.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Don't even know what day it is, I don't know when.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Tell me the day. I'll look at the calendar, and
- 27:12Speaker 3: the boss.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I know we're going it will probably go and come
- 27:15Speaker 2: back the same day, So that'd be pretty each that'd be awesome.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Wednesday, it's a Wednesday, September third.
- 27:21Speaker 3: It okay, even better, du Well, it's when we're planning
- 27:24Speaker 3: to go, I say, even better. But weekdays they're just
- 27:26Speaker 3: so hard with kids sports. Listen, I don't care if
- 27:28Speaker 3: you go or not telling you what's going on in
- 27:31Speaker 3: my head. Man, it's always the thing.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I do want to do this story too before we
- 27:35Speaker 2: break it off for a second, but I was watching
- 27:38Speaker 2: TikTok on that Ohio State and Ohio haven't played in
- 27:40Speaker 2: fifteen years.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Have you guys seen this story.
- 27:42Speaker 2: No, so they're not really in state rivals, but they
- 27:44Speaker 2: are in state and so obviously Ohio University hates Ohio
- 27:48Speaker 2: State because they're the smaller school that doesn't get the credit.
- 27:50Speaker 2: But they have decent athletic teams playing smaller conference. But
- 27:53Speaker 2: they showed the last time they've played, the mascot for Ohio,
- 27:56Speaker 2: which is a Bobcat, ran over and beat the crap
- 27:59Speaker 2: out of the mascot that's from Ohio State, which is Buddy.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Or something with your name is buck guy.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Yeah, And at first people thought it was a joke,
- 28:08Speaker 2: but he was like, put ripped his head off.
- 28:10Speaker 1: This is like this is like during the game, right
- 28:12Speaker 1: before their game.
- 28:13Speaker 2: That's awesome, Like pulled his head off, like was like
- 28:16Speaker 2: punching them, like bruised him up, and they ended up
- 28:19Speaker 2: kicking the guy out of the mascot costume at Ohio University.
- 28:24Speaker 2: He was like nineteen and then he ended up leaving
- 28:25Speaker 2: school going to a different university, oh Man, because they
- 28:28Speaker 2: got in trouble. Was it was hilarious to watch the
- 28:31Speaker 2: video because someone like had it on their phone from
- 28:33Speaker 2: fifteen years ago. Fifteen years I would have thought just
- 28:35Speaker 2: watching because he runs up in the middle of the field,
- 28:37Speaker 2: that boilermaker whatever his name is, not a boilermaker Buck guys, yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 2: buck guy, buck guy whatever. That He's just doing his
- 28:44Speaker 2: thing on the field and the Bobcat runs out and
- 28:45Speaker 2: tackles him so hard.
- 28:47Speaker 1: That you think it's a bit.
- 28:49Speaker 2: You think it's a bit because he hits him so hard,
- 28:51Speaker 2: and you're like, too, nobody is stopping the Bobcat from
- 28:54Speaker 2: pounding the Buckeye because everybody thinks it's a bit.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Turns out, was it really a bit? The dude was
- 29:00Speaker 1: out for black.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that's hilarious.
- 29:03Speaker 7: I'm here hilarious.
- 29:05Speaker 2: What do you think though, because there are people standing
- 29:07Speaker 2: right next to the buck guy Ohio State people who
- 29:10Speaker 2: were just letting it happen because they think it's part
- 29:12Speaker 2: of like mascot on.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Mascot, And they finally grab him. The head comes off
- 29:19Speaker 1: of the buck guy at one point.
- 29:21Speaker 3: It was crazy and he got kicked out of school.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Well, so they kicked him.
- 29:24Speaker 2: They kicked him out of the mascot program. He can't
- 29:26Speaker 2: be the mascot anymore. And then eventually he left school.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Uh huh because of supposedly what had happened in all
- 29:33Speaker 2: the heat guy.
- 29:34Speaker 1: But pretty crazy video. Huh, it's hilarious. We'll put it out.
- 29:37Speaker 1: We'll put it up in the social clubs. You guys
- 29:39Speaker 1: can see this.
- 29:39Speaker 2: But yeah, you can follow at Bobby Bone Sports. I
- 29:42Speaker 2: will take a break.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And then I got some meat malet. These guys eat.
- 29:50Speaker 6: All right.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I brought you guys a gift.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Really, it's not something massive, but and I don't even
- 29:56Speaker 2: want to show the package because this is not a commercial.
- 29:58Speaker 2: This is the best jerky you will ever have. And
- 30:02Speaker 2: I'm over selling it because you don't like it. You
- 30:04Speaker 2: don't like jerky, Well, I love jerky you like because
- 30:07Speaker 2: on it it's it's only meat and salt. That's it.
- 30:11Speaker 2: And this is Rabbi steak good. This is not a commercial.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I just wonder if you guys think this is awesome.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Because I bought my house. I'm gonna get like, yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 2: because I don't people think it's a commercial.
- 30:22Speaker 7: Did you just like discover it?
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yes?
- 30:25Speaker 3: Okay, okay, dude, a Ribbi steak in jerky form.
- 30:29Speaker 2: My goodness, look at this looks like a well it's
- 30:33Speaker 2: a Rabbi steak, Kevin, come.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Get you a piece of this, dude. It looks like
- 30:37Speaker 3: a Ribby steak.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Because it is. It's it's a jerky it's a jerky steak. Okay, okay,
- 30:42Speaker 1: So not a commercial.
- 30:43Speaker 2: You don't know what brand it is and I may
- 30:45Speaker 2: never share the brand.
- 30:46Speaker 7: Well eat it.
- 30:47Speaker 3: This is different.
- 30:48Speaker 2: So like it's literally a Ribby steak. It's done like
- 30:50Speaker 2: beef jerky.
- 30:52Speaker 7: You can see the fat on it and everything.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, dude, tell me there's no chewing involved.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Tell me that ain't heaven.
- 30:58Speaker 3: It like breaks apart in your mouth, Oh my gosh.
- 31:02Speaker 3: And it tastes delicious.
- 31:03Speaker 1: I know.
- 31:03Speaker 7: It really is a steak.
- 31:05Speaker 1: It really a steak like dried however they jerky jerky.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Yeah, they dry it up.
- 31:10Speaker 1: They did it with Rebiy steak.
- 31:11Speaker 7: It looks like they pressed down steak.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Yeah, they flattened it out and dry it out. No, No,
- 31:17Speaker 3: it's so good.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Oh it's not tough at all either.
- 31:21Speaker 3: No, it falls apart in your mouth. Is amazing. It's
- 31:24Speaker 3: the craziest thing.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I've never had jerky like this before ever.
- 31:28Speaker 7: Where do you get this?
- 31:31Speaker 3: How expensive is it?
- 31:32Speaker 5: Oh?
- 31:32Speaker 1: That's a problems.
- 31:34Speaker 3: It's a steak.
- 31:35Speaker 1: That's that's the problem.
- 31:36Speaker 2: So not a commercial, not saying what the brand is.
- 31:39Speaker 2: The bag of it, which is.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Like, contains how many pieces, probably like fifteen or so? Okay,
- 31:47Speaker 1: thirty six dollars.
- 31:48Speaker 3: That's pricey. Yeah, yeah, that's pricey because I got, say
- 31:53Speaker 3: two ribbis is about thirty six dollars.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I got brisket. I got a bag of brisket, A
- 31:57Speaker 1: brisk one.
- 31:57Speaker 3: How does that one taste awesome?
- 31:59Speaker 2: I think I'm it and Gallato meeting so much of it? Yeah, Mike,
- 32:03Speaker 2: I want you could take part in this, but you're vegan.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Yeah I could just smell it. Sorry, Mike, Mike, it
- 32:08Speaker 4: tastes really good.
- 32:09Speaker 7: Just take our word for it.
- 32:10Speaker 3: Hey, dumb question, but legit question.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 32:13Speaker 3: Do you you don't put a one sauce on this
- 32:14Speaker 3: to you?
- 32:14Speaker 7: No?
- 32:15Speaker 3: I don't need okay, because that's what he does.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I haven't thought about that. That might be good.
- 32:23Speaker 2: But I brought that, and I put a note in
- 32:26Speaker 2: my phone to remind you guys to make sure I
- 32:28Speaker 2: brought it, because is it. I'm not over selling it.
- 32:30Speaker 2: I told you guys, I found the best jerk you ever.
- 32:32Speaker 3: No, I've eaten a lot of jerky in my life, and.
- 32:34Speaker 1: You guys want to split this one.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Yes, I've never had something that breaks into your mouth like.
- 32:39Speaker 7: This either, like usually you have to like rip it
- 32:42Speaker 7: and tear it.
- 32:43Speaker 3: U even even the fat, Like there's still fat in this.
- 32:47Speaker 3: It's literally a steak. It's a many slice of a steak.
- 32:50Speaker 7: You gave me the people piece.
- 32:53Speaker 1: So that's it. Again, I do the whole show about
- 32:55Speaker 1: this now or not, but we can.
- 32:56Speaker 2: But I do want to prove my hype because I
- 32:59Speaker 2: was telling you guys when I ordered this, it was
- 33:02Speaker 2: literally the best.
- 33:03Speaker 7: Did you hear about this or did you just come
- 33:05Speaker 7: across it?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Came across it.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I like meat, and I get a lot of ads
- 33:10Speaker 2: for meat, and so I buy a lot of stuff.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Yeah and so, and then I saw this and I thought,
- 33:14Speaker 2: because there was like five or six versions of this too,
- 33:16Speaker 2: this is the best one by far.
- 33:19Speaker 3: So good.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so good. So okay, can you bring the
- 33:22Speaker 1: brisket one tomorrow. I can give you the link.
- 33:27Speaker 3: We just keep asking you to bring samples. Then it
- 33:29Speaker 3: was really good. Yeah, it's a good fine, thank you.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Kevin is staring at it. He's not even eating it,
- 33:35Speaker 1: he's just staring at it.
- 33:36Speaker 7: I'm just like looking at it. Yeah. I love Ribbi too.
- 33:39Speaker 7: It's my favorite cut.
- 33:40Speaker 3: It's just it's dried meat. Like whatever they did they
- 33:43Speaker 3: slice the steak. It's like they cooked the steak and
- 33:46Speaker 3: they sliced it and they dried it up.
- 33:47Speaker 2: You guys can hit me in DMS if you're like, hey,
- 33:49Speaker 2: what is that? And I can tell you. But I
- 33:51Speaker 2: don't want people to feel like this is a commercial. Yeah, okay,
- 33:55Speaker 2: you won't tell us because it is not a commercial.
- 33:57Speaker 2: But it is a plus.
- 33:59Speaker 3: So there's that.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Also, today Eddie and I were playing round four of
- 34:02Speaker 1: our golf.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Okay, not feeling great about it.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Well, you're down four strucks.
- 34:07Speaker 3: No, not only that, I did a little secret round
- 34:10Speaker 3: by myself the other day. I went by myself.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Oh, your public round.
- 34:13Speaker 3: It wasn't good anything.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Secrets canna be better?
- 34:16Speaker 3: No. No, I just mean like it wasn't part of
- 34:17Speaker 3: our tournament. It's kind of like if during the Pebble
- 34:21Speaker 3: Beat tournament. You know, Jordan Spieth goes and does a
- 34:24Speaker 3: little side round somewhere else in the middle of the tournament.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Oh, in the middle of the tournament, because we're in
- 34:29Speaker 1: the middle of our tournament.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Yeah, But the difference is they played all those days
- 34:31Speaker 2: in a row. You really can't get a side round.
- 34:33Speaker 2: I would expect you can just go play.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Who cares.
- 34:35Speaker 3: I did, and I did, and I didn't play bad.
- 34:38Speaker 3: But dude, I just don't know what my SHOT's doing.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Like when I go up to the ball, I don't
- 34:42Speaker 3: know if it's gonna go left, don't know it's gonna
- 34:43Speaker 3: go right. I don't know it's gonna go straight. That's
- 34:45Speaker 3: a golf Yeah, I feel like I've been in better,
- 34:48Speaker 3: better position.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Do you feel like getting beat three times on a
- 34:51Speaker 2: row by me though, has affected your mental health? Yeah
- 34:54Speaker 2: a little bit, Yeah, because so you're like, I'm the best.
- 34:56Speaker 2: But then if we'd have played three rounds out of
- 34:57Speaker 2: won all three rounds, yeah.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Correct, Yeah, but in the middle of it.
- 35:02Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, did you see the video The ball
- 35:04Speaker 1: was not in the weeds. It really was. Eddie's like
- 35:07Speaker 1: it's so deep in the weeds. Eddie's the one that picks
- 35:08Speaker 1: the ball. It was though you didn't see around it all.
- 35:12Speaker 1: It was on top of weeds that were laid down,
- 35:14Speaker 1: but in.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Front of it you had grasses.
- 35:15Speaker 1: But you picked up the ball was the best part
- 35:17Speaker 1: of it, you see, Eddie. Reason to pick up the ball,
- 35:19Speaker 1: not me, No, but that's after you told me that
- 35:20Speaker 1: I'm not hitting.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Notice I know, but I never touched it. You're the
- 35:23Speaker 2: one that went over and picked up the ball. So
- 35:24Speaker 2: the ball hadn't been manipula. It's like it was like
- 35:26Speaker 2: right there on top of it. I could have easily hit.
- 35:28Speaker 1: It out of there. What do you think, Kevin, when
- 35:29Speaker 1: you saw.
- 35:29Speaker 7: That it didn't look like it was in the weeds
- 35:31Speaker 7: at all.
- 35:32Speaker 2: And then he's like in put on beautiful Bermuda. No,
- 35:35Speaker 2: we put it back like close to the creek. It
- 35:37Speaker 2: wasn't like in the fairway.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry, Eddie, I mean whatever, man, I think.
- 35:44Speaker 4: I think it has a lot more to do than
- 35:45Speaker 4: just this poison ivy that's really getting Eddie.
- 35:47Speaker 7: And this poison ivy is just something that you know
- 35:49Speaker 7: is just coming out.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Now the drop in the middle of the fairway all times,
- 35:51Speaker 3: and that's okay. It's fine to the gimmes. It's it's
- 35:53Speaker 3: all fine, it's okay, it's all part of the game.
- 35:55Speaker 1: The gimmes. You're you want more gimmeis than anybody.
- 35:58Speaker 3: No, I want true putt you and you negotiated a
- 36:02Speaker 3: gimme in there. Leave it up to us.
- 36:04Speaker 2: You know, we negotiated the ability to say you can
- 36:07Speaker 2: have that, and he's the one that wants it more
- 36:09Speaker 2: than anybody. But yeah, you're just in a sour mood.
- 36:12Speaker 2: But round fourteen you could still win the whole thing.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's four strokes.
- 36:15Speaker 7: It's only for one whole Well, you guys are what
- 36:18Speaker 7: is it triples whatever? But two holes, dude, you got it.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I'd say it's tough because we're so close to the
- 36:24Speaker 1: same kind of golfer. Are we have one three times
- 36:27Speaker 1: in a row?
- 36:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean, well, you're only up by four
- 36:29Speaker 3: in four in three rounds, so like, yeah, we're withining
- 36:32Speaker 3: one stroke every time, maybe two.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I just pushed the gas a little harder when it's
- 36:36Speaker 1: time to win.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Tell what it is. Yeah, you don't crumble.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Some would say, I.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Don't know, dude, I'm just I'm not feeling good. I
- 36:44Speaker 3: might I might show up to the driving range five
- 36:46Speaker 3: hours early.
- 36:47Speaker 7: I'm gonna make it worse.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that never gets it for me. No, it does.
- 36:51Speaker 7: Then you start shaking it on the driving range and
- 36:52Speaker 7: you're like, oh no.
- 36:53Speaker 3: They just figure it out.
- 36:54Speaker 2: We're going to play today, so look for you can
- 36:58Speaker 2: need to wait till next week whatever, or you can
- 37:00Speaker 2: look for the clip. Will put it up on Bobby
- 37:02Speaker 2: Bone Sports if you guys want to see the video.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Because Brandon comes out and shoots it and then read
- 37:07Speaker 2: a standing by and read edits it as it goes.
- 37:09Speaker 8: You know that.
- 37:10Speaker 1: No, I didn't know that. That's that's how hard.
- 37:13Speaker 2: That's how we had the other one so quick, because
- 37:14Speaker 2: Brandon was shooting it and as soon as he would
- 37:16Speaker 2: shoot it, he'd send it to read read lives in
- 37:18Speaker 2: Saint Louis.
- 37:18Speaker 1: You know, he's just pulling his put all day, so
- 37:20Speaker 1: he had nothing to do operations.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Amazing. Yeah, so read for a dumb golf.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Yes, just sits there and throws lines on stuff. And
- 37:27Speaker 1: that's why that's why Brandon's he just birdied number four.
- 37:31Speaker 1: All right, So we'll do that today. You guys had
- 37:33Speaker 1: some jerky so good, I'll bring bring that. I'll give
- 37:37Speaker 1: you the link. Yeah, I'll give you the link.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I'm so ready for there to be real sports again,
- 37:43Speaker 2: because there's there's nothing except training camp and mid season baseball.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Oh, we're gonna have preseason though this weekend.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Even preseason at least gives you something to talk mbout. Yeah,
- 37:57Speaker 2: So I can't wait for this show to act.
- 38:00Speaker 1: He'd be easy to do as.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Far as like, there's just a lot of things we
- 38:03Speaker 2: want to talk about instead of going, oh man, what
- 38:04Speaker 2: are we gonna do today?
- 38:06Speaker 3: With your feet?
- 38:06Speaker 1: You guys beat Jerky as bits, which was delicious thing.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Yes, you're so mad at Jordan Speed, dude, Oh I
- 38:15Speaker 3: don't understand.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Like he he missed.
- 38:19Speaker 3: A two foot putt and it cost me seventy dollars
- 38:23Speaker 3: everything that was in my bank for the month, Like
- 38:26Speaker 3: because because I bet that he was gonna part of
- 38:28Speaker 3: the hole, he left his birdy putt short. All he
- 38:30Speaker 3: had was a tap in a two foot putt and
- 38:33Speaker 3: he missed it, and all my money just went down there.
- 38:35Speaker 1: If he'd have made the two.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Put I would have made like five bucks, ten bucks,
- 38:38Speaker 2: but you wouldn't have lost it.
- 38:40Speaker 3: No, Instead, I've lost seventy freaking dollars, and I'm like,
- 38:43Speaker 3: I know I miss putts like that all the time.
- 38:46Speaker 3: We missed putts like that all the time. I did
- 38:47Speaker 3: not expect Jordan to miss a putt like that. Sorry, buddy, dude,
- 38:51Speaker 3: I was I break it out on me today.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm not letting emotions take over me today.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Take it out on me. No, you got four strokes.
- 38:59Speaker 1: He climbed that back in two holes.
- 39:01Speaker 3: I am so focused that I'm not even trying to
- 39:03Speaker 3: get mad. I'm not trying to get like fired up
- 39:06Speaker 3: for it. I'm just focused.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Okay, that's awesome.
- 39:10Speaker 2: I'm still not hitting the ball well, but I'm focused.
- 39:13Speaker 2: He tried to, Like you said, you tried to go
- 39:15Speaker 2: out and play seek around. I played terrible.
- 39:18Speaker 3: It's just I just don't know where the ball's going, dude, left, right, middle,
- 39:21Speaker 3: don't know.
- 39:21Speaker 2: It's kind of Golf's weird that way, like you really
- 39:23Speaker 2: don't know until you get out there. Even if you
- 39:25Speaker 2: hit at the range're hitting pretty good, it's still like
- 39:28Speaker 2: a guessing game, like who's going to show up once
- 39:30Speaker 2: we get out of there On the actual tea box.
- 39:31Speaker 3: How are you feeling pre round like I always.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Do, crust my fingers and if I suck, I hope
- 39:36Speaker 1: you suck.
- 39:37Speaker 3: See see, I feel like that's a problem watching your
- 39:40Speaker 3: shot and being like, suck, go in the back, go
- 39:42Speaker 3: go in, Go in the woods, go in the woods.
- 39:43Speaker 1: You feel like you're competing that.
- 39:44Speaker 3: I feel like that's a problem.
- 39:45Speaker 2: I feel like I need to I don't root for
- 39:48Speaker 2: bad stuff to happen to you.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Like when I said water, I really was like, I
- 39:52Speaker 3: get it.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I get it.
- 39:53Speaker 2: That means you don't have confidence in your own abilities
- 39:54Speaker 2: at that moment. Direct I don't have confidence in my abilities.
- 39:58Speaker 2: But I don't root for bad things that happen you.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I root for great things that happen to me. And
- 40:02Speaker 2: I like my favorite thing, my favorite thing.
- 40:06Speaker 3: You're smiling so hard.
- 40:08Speaker 2: It's if you hit a good shot and then I
- 40:11Speaker 2: outdo you because it just sucks the wind out out
- 40:13Speaker 2: of a person. Yeah, it's the best. And I'm not
- 40:15Speaker 2: saying that happens a lot. But it's like when you
- 40:17Speaker 2: are like making a charge, or you're a couple down
- 40:19Speaker 2: and you hit one like twelve feet and if I
- 40:21Speaker 2: happen to it one like eight feet, because you're like, oh,
- 40:23Speaker 2: I got a chance to get and I just pull
- 40:25Speaker 2: that out and suck it out of you. Oh, that's
- 40:28Speaker 2: the best feeling. That when you start to feel confidence
- 40:30Speaker 2: and I rip it away, that's it.
- 40:32Speaker 1: That's a plus.
- 40:33Speaker 4: You're like happy, Gilmore, somebody's closer.
- 40:37Speaker 1: And I don't even say anything.
- 40:38Speaker 3: I say anything, he doesn't, but I can tell you're happy.
- 40:41Speaker 2: That's my favorite moment and emotion where it's like, oh,
- 40:44Speaker 2: guy just thinks he got me.
- 40:46Speaker 3: You know. Sometimes I'm like, you know what, I want
