- 0:08Speaker 1: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in grub du du. You

- 0:20Speaker 2: I don't get that joke.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Heavy sigh. You never saw Zena Xenon.
- 0:30Speaker 1: You've seen Xena the Warrior Princeress, but you haven't seen
- 0:33Speaker 1: Xenon the twenty first century?
- 0:34Speaker 4: Correct?
- 0:35Speaker 3: What is it Xenon Girl of the twenty first Century?
- 0:38Speaker 3: You've never seen that? Never? Is that true? Swear?
- 0:42Speaker 5: I haven't seen a lot of movies like Father of
- 0:43Speaker 5: the Bride, Pretty Woman.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Yeah, we want.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Why, I don't know. It's like one of.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Those things that I like missed. I missed the mark
- 0:54Speaker 5: on and like now it's like it's so far gone
- 0:56Speaker 5: that like what's the point.
- 0:57Speaker 3: First of all, you didn't miss the mark because it
- 0:59Speaker 3: was it's like an old.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Right, right, So like I missed it, so it's like fast,
- 1:06Speaker 1: oh my gosh, you need to watch uh, well, you
- 1:08Speaker 1: need to watch both of those. But I didn't see
- 1:10Speaker 1: Father of the Bride for a very long time in
- 1:12Speaker 1: my life, so that one I understand.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Even though it's people's favorite movie.
- 1:16Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:16Speaker 5: Robbie said literally last weekend, he was like, we need
- 1:18Speaker 5: to watch Father of the Bride tonight and I was like.
- 1:20Speaker 4: You will cry.
- 1:20Speaker 1: You will be very emotional because you have a very
- 1:23Speaker 1: like sweet relationship with your dag.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and Pretty Woman's a classic.
- 1:27Speaker 2: You'll will So I know people always reference it. They're like, oh,
- 1:30Speaker 2: a pretty woman.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, just take take a like take a
- 1:36Speaker 1: break from your scripted series from twenty eighteen.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Put on a class that.
- 1:42Speaker 4: I know Island.
- 1:47Speaker 2: So I just found out that Love Island Australia.
- 1:49Speaker 5: They have a casa or they have uh a more
- 1:53Speaker 5: hotel or like the hideaway, like the room that they
- 1:55Speaker 5: go to.
- 1:56Speaker 2: It's like whatever, it's like talking to them walls here.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Believe me, we get it. We get it from the
- 2:02Speaker 3: other side. Rude.
- 2:05Speaker 2: So I'm gonna give Love on Australia try.
- 2:07Speaker 3: I can't believe you haven't already.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I mean, it's I already do UK. There's so many
- 2:12Speaker 2: there to watch.
- 2:13Speaker 3: You did Traders from every.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Because there's like one or two seasons of each.
- 2:17Speaker 1: This is like, oh you're gonna try, Oh yeah, yeah,
- 2:20Speaker 1: take We've lost her again, folks.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Yeah, but I'm actually watching someon current right now, what
- 2:25Speaker 5: are you watching Disclaimer.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Movie show?
- 2:30Speaker 3: I heard it's good. It's good, It's only dark. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 2:35Speaker 3: like dark.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Because you asked people, I love Breaking Bad? What else
- 2:39Speaker 4: should I watch? This kind of that vibe? People say?
- 2:41Speaker 5: Yeah, people said Disclaimer and Diplomat were like the two showstoppers.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Do you not think that Breaking Bad was stark.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Weirdly? Yeah, a little bit. But I found the story
- 2:53Speaker 2: so interesting and intriguing.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Yeah, so you're able to look past the darkness.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Like it's like, oh he makes math, who doesn't?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Ye? Yeah, could be worse, could be worse. Yeah, Yeah,
- 3:05Speaker 1: that's exciting. Well, speaking of Love Island, I went to
- 3:07Speaker 1: the Gladiator premiere and h as I had told you,
- 3:12Speaker 1: the cast was there, Yes, on the carpet.
- 3:15Speaker 5: I needed to know the specificity of this whole situation.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Okay, so first of all arrived. First, First of all.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I get so anxious going to things like that because
- 3:25Speaker 1: the carpet's so intimidating to me, because I don't know,
- 3:28Speaker 1: you're kind of like at this massive premiere. Granted, at
- 3:32Speaker 1: this one, it was nice because none of the celebrities
- 3:35Speaker 1: from the movie, like the real celebrities weren't there, so
- 3:38Speaker 1: it was kind of like reality people my wheelhouse, of
- 3:42Speaker 1: like camaraderie in that sense.
- 3:45Speaker 3: So I felt a little less like intimidated.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And so I get there, I do the carpet tailor's
- 3:54Speaker 1: with me.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Taylor's like talking to all the people, like e news people, like.
- 3:57Speaker 1: All her friends that are in the press, and I
- 4:01Speaker 1: see Hannah Ge she was doing interviews. I just have
- 4:04Speaker 1: to say, Dylan Barber, Hannah G's husband, is one of
- 4:10Speaker 1: the nicest best guys to come out of the Bachelor franchise.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Every time I've talked about, every time I've talked to him,
- 4:17Speaker 1: he's so warm, he's so kind, he's so engaging, he's
- 4:20Speaker 1: not like trying to be anything, no ego, just so nice.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And then Hannah's obviously just love the affect and so cute. Yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 1: the Montana boys were there.
- 4:31Speaker 5: No Mark Estes, Yeah, Caleb, I don't I don't know any.
- 4:38Speaker 1: It's like Montana Boy one, Montana Boy two. I think
- 4:41Speaker 1: Montana Boy one is Mark I got Hannah Boy two
- 4:43Speaker 1: is Caleb got it. I don't know the third one,
- 4:45Speaker 1: but he was just the two of them.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Okay, So I saw the cowboy hats.
- 4:48Speaker 1: From a distance, I said, there they are in person
- 4:52Speaker 1: stad this carpet. And then I saw Krishelle and Emma
- 4:56Speaker 1: from Selling Sunset. I love Krishelle, and Emma was so cute.
- 5:01Speaker 1: She brought her dad, so he was just like halving
- 5:03Speaker 1: the time of his life. And then I look down
- 5:05Speaker 1: and I see Kendall.
- 5:07Speaker 2: You see oh no, the boys.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I see the.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Boys and then I see Live and Kaylor. So go
- 5:14Speaker 1: up to the boys first, and I'm like Hi. I
- 5:16Speaker 1: was like, my name is Becca. I was like, so,
- 5:18Speaker 1: my friend Tanya is obsessed with Love Island. I was like,
- 5:21Speaker 1: can y'all just if I do a video? Can y'all
- 5:24Speaker 1: just say hi to her? So they it was.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Funny that they all said pull up. Yeah. Is that
- 5:30Speaker 3: a Love Island thing? Or is that more like a
- 5:32Speaker 3: gen Z thing?
- 5:32Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm starts saying it. You have no
- 5:34Speaker 2: idea like having text? Tis like, Tanya, where are you at?
- 5:37Speaker 3: Pull up? Where are you? I was like, pull up?
- 5:41Speaker 5: I'm pulling up in bed, Yeah, pulling the sheets right
- 5:44Speaker 5: on up, right on up over my head.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Kaylor was talking to someone, but Live was standing there,
- 5:52Speaker 1: so I was like Live and she turns but to like,
- 5:55Speaker 1: oh my god, Hi, I love you.
- 5:56Speaker 3: You're sunning.
- 5:57Speaker 1: But like she had no idea who I was. She
- 5:58Speaker 1: was just like such a girl's girl that she was
- 6:00Speaker 1: just like it's so sweet.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Oh my gosh. I already knew that about her. But
- 6:05Speaker 5: I love getting confirmation. Yeah, And I was like on
- 6:07Speaker 5: the boots on the ground confirmation.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I was like, so I have a podcast with my
- 6:10Speaker 1: best friend. And then Kayler's like, Tonya.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Where are you at? Like and I'm like, wait, let
- 6:14Speaker 3: me video this.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So I'm like, just say how to Tanya. So Live
- 6:17Speaker 1: starts and then Kayler jump jumps in. Yeah, pull up,
- 6:22Speaker 1: pull up the f up?
- 6:23Speaker 3: Where are you at?
- 6:26Speaker 1: So they were so sweet, and we went into this area.
- 6:29Speaker 1: It was like a cocktail area where there was a
- 6:31Speaker 1: bar and like heaters and stuff for us is.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Staying around and I love a heater. Live was so sweet.
- 6:36Speaker 1: She kept coming up being like come hang out with us,
- 6:38Speaker 1: like come stand with us, you know. So You're like
- 6:40Speaker 1: I'm good, no, no, no, well, I mean we were
- 6:43Speaker 1: more just like kind of browsing, like looking around waiting
- 6:45Speaker 1: for I wanted to see if I could get a
- 6:47Speaker 1: glimpse of Denzel. You know, it's just like you know,
- 6:49Speaker 1: seeing it where I could get a glunch of people.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I was trying to star.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Watch yeah, and she was like partying.
- 6:54Speaker 1: They were party. They were just like at the bar.
- 6:56Speaker 1: They were like, I don't even know if they came
- 6:57Speaker 1: to the movie. Well, they had gone to Vegas and
- 7:01Speaker 1: saw a screening of it, so they literally may not
- 7:03Speaker 1: have gone to the movie.
- 7:05Speaker 5: I knew that Live was going to be my girl.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Well Kaylor's my like real girl, yeah and lives like
- 7:11Speaker 5: my girl girl.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 3: There. They were really really fun and sweet and nice.
- 7:16Speaker 2: But they said they would come on the pod totally.
- 7:19Speaker 1: They're totally down and I genuinely think that they want
- 7:23Speaker 1: to if the schedule is a line that they will
- 7:25Speaker 1: definitely come on.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Wow.
- 7:27Speaker 5: I don't think I wish that you So, first of all,
- 7:30Speaker 5: that Monday night, I also got invited to the Sabrina
- 7:32Speaker 5: Carpenter concert, and I was like, I already turned down
- 7:35Speaker 5: my best friend Becca to go to Gladiator premiere because
- 7:37Speaker 5: I cannot do two nights back to back, so I
- 7:39Speaker 5: had to decline the Sabrina Carpenter show. So I didn't
- 7:42Speaker 5: even see I don't even think I saw nine to
- 7:44Speaker 5: twenty one o'clock that night, Like I was fast shoes gone.
- 7:48Speaker 5: By the time when you had sent me those videos
- 7:50Speaker 5: of them, I was literally in bed in my pajamas,
- 7:54Speaker 5: actually naked, because that's how I sleep.
- 7:55Speaker 2: But I always always, yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Even when the kids are there. Yeah really yeah, interesting.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Well I don't like walk around naked, but I get
- 8:04Speaker 2: I have my robe.
- 8:05Speaker 4: But what if one of them comes in the middle
- 8:07Speaker 4: of the night, Oh, I need your help, come kill
- 8:08Speaker 4: a spider or something.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true, or like they're like bad, I don't
- 8:12Speaker 1: feel like I don't feel well and they want to
- 8:13Speaker 1: get in bed with you.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Never happened.
- 8:16Speaker 5: Well, one of them has come up in the middle
- 8:18Speaker 5: of the night because of something, and then Robbie just
- 8:20Speaker 5: gets up in help.
- 8:22Speaker 4: If one of them's sick in the middle of the night,
- 8:25Speaker 4: you don't run in there.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I put my robe on.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Something they yell from downstairs or something, I'll put my
- 8:31Speaker 5: robe on and go down there.
- 8:33Speaker 6: But yeah, interesting, Yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Anyway, so I'm in bed and but we didn't have
- 8:40Speaker 5: them that night. But I was in bed and I
- 8:42Speaker 5: see these text messages and I'm like screaming like a
- 8:45Speaker 5: little girl, Like I literally feel like the cat Love
- 8:47Speaker 5: Island cast sends me back to like my teenage years
- 8:51Speaker 5: because also I had like the space buns in my head,
- 8:54Speaker 5: so it was like a really double whammy. I felt
- 8:56Speaker 5: like I was a fifteen year old girl getting a
- 8:58Speaker 5: video from like or something, Yeah, Kira or whatever. I
- 9:04Speaker 5: was freaking out so cool. Yeah, and I feel like
- 9:07Speaker 5: they just seem so cool.
- 9:09Speaker 3: They were all so nice. Yeah, Kendall was so nice.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And then I don't know where Janey was when when
- 9:16Speaker 1: I was talking to the girls, but at one point
- 9:18Speaker 1: she like walked by and I was like, Janey, you
- 9:20Speaker 1: look beautiful, and she's like, oh my god, you know
- 9:22Speaker 1: did her She's I mean, they're all like beautiful in person.
- 9:27Speaker 3: And then did you change numbers?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Did you get any of their numbers?
- 9:30Speaker 1: I did not ask, but you have Kayler's numbers, so yeah, yeah,
- 9:35Speaker 1: we got a drag line.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:37Speaker 1: We're standing there waiting for Denzel and other star sightings,
- 9:42Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, Gracie Abrams walks into our section,
- 9:46Speaker 1: which is like literally all influencers. Like, it's not none
- 9:49Speaker 1: of the celebrities are in there. Okay, it's like real,
- 9:52Speaker 1: just like reality people you know, and you feel, which
- 9:56Speaker 1: is so interesting.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Then where do they put the movie stars?
- 9:59Speaker 1: I think they just came later like they like once
- 10:03Speaker 1: we went in there, like basically the carpet started, which
- 10:05Speaker 1: I actually liked because a lot of times they knew it.
- 10:08Speaker 3: At the same time, no.
- 10:09Speaker 2: One wants to walk a red carpet in front of
- 10:11Speaker 2: like the Rock.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Well yeah, and the Rock doesn't want anyone walking like
- 10:16Speaker 1: in front of him.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure he wouldn't care. He seems so kind.
- 10:19Speaker 3: You love the Rock. I had no idea your fandom
- 10:22Speaker 3: of the Rock.
- 10:23Speaker 2: It's new.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, but yeah.
- 10:26Speaker 1: So Gracie walks in and we're and she doesn't have
- 10:28Speaker 1: like she has two people with her, but they're not
- 10:30Speaker 1: like security or anything. They were like publicist or something,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and I just like got it. I just was like,
- 10:35Speaker 1: she's so beautiful. She looked like she like floated in.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah. I did see the video and it really did
- 10:41Speaker 2: look like she was floating.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:43Speaker 1: So I went up to her while we were like
- 10:45Speaker 1: walking out to go into the theater, and I was like,
- 10:47Speaker 1: I loved your uh surprise performance with Taylor. I love
- 10:51Speaker 1: that you were surprised. When she's saying out of the Woods,
- 10:53Speaker 1: it's one of my favorite songs, She's like, oh my god,
- 10:55Speaker 1: me too. I freaked out. She was really cute.
- 10:57Speaker 2: No selfie with Grazie Abrams.
- 10:59Speaker 1: No, because one was asking for selfies and I felt
- 11:02Speaker 1: like it was more of like an.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Experience just to like say hi, proud.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Of you, thank you. Yeah, I would not control myself here,
- 11:10Speaker 2: she would.
- 11:11Speaker 1: You think you've been in so many things where you're
- 11:12Speaker 1: like so and so is here and you haven't even.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Said hi, cool girl, and yeah, yeah, just super cool.
- 11:20Speaker 1: And then we went and watched the movie. The movie
- 11:21Speaker 1: is like amazing, but very gory, like if you liked
- 11:25Speaker 1: I don't remember the first one came out so long ago.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I remember I think it was gory, but this one
- 11:32Speaker 1: was just like left right, someone's losing body parts due
- 11:36Speaker 1: to swords and yeah, but it was good.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Paul came and inentered the movie.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Paul Mescal.
- 11:48Speaker 3: He's not a drink.
- 11:49Speaker 5: I know, it's like mescal Pedro Pascal.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I know it's all mes. Yeah, there's a lot, okay.
- 11:56Speaker 1: But he came in to interer the movie. Very cute.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I will say. After seeing the movie, I was like,
- 12:01Speaker 1: I totally get it because the whole movie he's like buff,
- 12:04Speaker 1: he's tan, his eyes are just like piercing blue and he's,
- 12:08Speaker 1: you know, like the hero of the movie. So I
- 12:11Speaker 1: was like, oh, he's really cute, So I'll give you that, Sam.
- 12:16Speaker 2: He is cute, big Paul fan.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Yes, I get it. Yeah, yeah.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Is it weird that he looks nothing like your boyfriend?
- 12:27Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 12:28Speaker 7: We actually got into like a little tif over it
- 12:29Speaker 7: because I just said how much I want to see
- 12:31Speaker 7: Gladiators too, and he was like, oh, I didn't know
- 12:33Speaker 7: you liked the first one, and I said, I've never
- 12:35Speaker 7: seen the first one.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I have no idea what these movies are even about.
- 12:38Speaker 3: I just need to.
- 12:39Speaker 7: Go see it in imax for Paul mescal And he
- 12:42Speaker 7: was like, you could just look a picture of him
- 12:44Speaker 7: at home, like.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I was like, well, no, that's really funny. Yeah yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I mean listen, I have a massive crush on Chris Hemsworth,
- 12:54Speaker 1: and Haley looks nothing like him.
- 12:56Speaker 3: So can't.
- 13:01Speaker 2: A huge crush on the rock.
- 13:06Speaker 4: That's not intimidating to Roy at all problems.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I don't have a crush on the Rocks. It's new.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I heard rotch red one. I was like hmmm. And
- 13:16Speaker 2: then I saw this video of him like brushing his
- 13:17Speaker 2: daughter's hair once, and I was.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Like, once.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Was space buns something like that.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I gave Tanya space funds because everyone liked the episode
- 13:28Speaker 1: and thought it was.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Really funny, and yeah, she's not into him.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Today, we're trying to recapture the magic.
- 13:37Speaker 5: The magic I do feel like the buns like I'm
- 13:40Speaker 5: going to give Actually, I'm gonna give a really big
- 13:42Speaker 5: p s A to anybody, to everybody listening right now,
- 13:45Speaker 5: and I'm gonna do when we come back, is it time?
- 13:49Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 13:49Speaker 6: But that okay?
- 13:52Speaker 1: Thank you, all right, Tanya take it away after that
- 14:13Speaker 1: big teeth.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you so much. So this is a PSA
- 14:15Speaker 5: to anybody listening. If you are in a rut in
- 14:18Speaker 5: your life, if you are feeling a little mundane, a
- 14:22Speaker 5: little black, maybe a little gray, change your hair. I
- 14:27Speaker 5: felt like Cindy Luhu on Monday. I felt like I
- 14:31Speaker 5: was a little girl running around Whoville waiting for Christmas
- 14:35Speaker 5: to come.
- 14:38Speaker 3: What. I just don't know that that would do it
- 14:40Speaker 3: for me.
- 14:40Speaker 5: It might not not saying space buns. I'm not saying
- 14:43Speaker 5: like give yourself space bunds. What I'm saying is like,
- 14:46Speaker 5: change the color of your hair, change the length of
- 14:48Speaker 5: your hair, change the part of your hair, like, do
- 14:51Speaker 5: something different with your hair, because I'm telling you it
- 14:54Speaker 5: changed my dynamic on Monday, Like I was not Tanya.
- 14:57Speaker 5: I was Tati. My god, the look, although I did
- 15:05Speaker 5: have to take them off because I never was so
- 15:08Speaker 5: funny to post this video Robbie saying like he's like, Okay,
- 15:11Speaker 5: I think they're cute, they're goofy or whatever he's like,
- 15:13Speaker 5: but I'm not like romantically into them. I was like, okay, great,
- 15:20Speaker 5: I'll take them down before we go upstairs, if you
- 15:23Speaker 5: know what I mean. And so many people were dming
- 15:26Speaker 5: me saying that this is a giant green flag because
- 15:28Speaker 5: they're like, he doesn't.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Want you to look like a young little girl.
- 15:30Speaker 5: I was like, the fact that that's a green flag
- 15:32Speaker 5: is concerning.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Bars on the ground.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Bar is very low.
- 15:38Speaker 1: But yeah, so I think they're cute and goofy, but
- 15:41Speaker 1: not romantically romantically.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I'm not into that.
- 15:44Speaker 3: You didn't want to like, grab one of the space
- 15:45Speaker 3: bun give it a whirl.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Let's see what this. See what she brings to the bedroom. Why,
- 15:52Speaker 2: I think she'd be fun too, But he'll never know.

- 15:59Speaker 5: So back.

- 16:07Speaker 5: Yeah, so these are a little different today. These are
- 16:10Speaker 5: Becca buns, but.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Either taller, they have more energy to them.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Yeah, they do have some more height.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Yeah, like Mickey like mini mouse ears.
- 16:21Speaker 3: So now you're like just like the kid.
- 16:22Speaker 5: And yes, that's my PSA change your hair. It brings
- 16:26Speaker 5: out a different side of you.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Wait when you look at the camera, because I'm thinking
- 16:30Speaker 1: about one of the scruncheese is huge and the other
- 16:34Speaker 1: one's small.
- 16:34Speaker 5: Yeah, one of them you can see and one of
- 16:37Speaker 5: them you cannot. That's my That is the user error.
- 16:40Speaker 5: I did not bring. I did not anticipate this hat
- 16:42Speaker 5: to happen today, so I didn't have two of the
- 16:43Speaker 5: same size. We're still troubleshooting, fine tuning, fine tuning if
- 16:47Speaker 5: you will.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Well, we do have a Dear Bonnie episode today, So
- 16:50Speaker 1: shall we get to it because time is of the essence.
- 16:54Speaker 2: No, we so much to good Chetah, what Phoebe and.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Pretty much just your dog isn't like rivetting.
- 17:08Speaker 2: We could do.
- 17:10Speaker 1: If you want updates on Phoebe that happens on my Instagram,
- 17:12Speaker 1: But I don't think that's a podcast conversation.
- 17:15Speaker 3: My dog's knees needs searcher.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Oh but you know what is interesting what happened? I
- 17:20Speaker 5: think I went viral for the first time. Oh on
- 17:23Speaker 5: what on Instagram?
- 17:25Speaker 3: Oh the real that you?
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, there a million views and climbing.
- 17:31Speaker 5: But it appears that it has hit a weird part
- 17:33Speaker 5: of the internet because I'm getting trolled like I've never
- 17:37Speaker 5: been trolled in my life, trolled like like people will
- 17:39Speaker 5: being like she's so annoying, how pathetic, you're a you're
- 17:44Speaker 5: an adult.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I saw some of those comments and I was like,
- 17:46Speaker 1: this has really hit a strange corner because there's as
- 17:52Speaker 1: you don't know you, they don't know people do not
- 17:54Speaker 1: know Yes, because I've come across your video randomly. Yes.
- 17:57Speaker 5: And the best part is I'm responding to all of
- 17:59Speaker 5: them that they're like, you're so.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Annoying. I'm like, yeah, i am, that's my whole like brand,
- 18:07Speaker 2: thanks for listening.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Like I'm like, you're trying to call me out and
- 18:10Speaker 5: be a bitch, but like, funny, you don't even know
- 18:12Speaker 5: that I own that.
- 18:13Speaker 3: You're like hit the follow for more of this.
- 18:16Speaker 5: Yeah, make sure to follow and subscribe.
- 18:21Speaker 3: And I have a podcast as well.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Yes, please subscribe to that.
- 18:24Speaker 5: If you want more insecure insecurity, please please follow along there.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I just didn't find it, Like, I don't think wanting
- 18:33Speaker 1: to be on the end is an insecurity thing.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I apparently it is, but I do.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Think it's a funny.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Like it just sometimes when you go viral, that's you
- 18:41Speaker 1: can't control.
- 18:42Speaker 5: And then people were like, you made the photos so ugly,
- 18:45Speaker 5: Like why do you have to smile like that? I
- 18:46Speaker 5: was like, I think I made the photo, but like
- 18:48Speaker 5: I kept just keep hitting the back saying I think
- 18:50Speaker 5: I'm gorgeous.
- 18:51Speaker 2: But things.
- 18:53Speaker 5: Yeah, every troll, everyone that's trolling me is getting some
- 18:56Speaker 5: sort of response, but like not what they want.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Yeah, that's interesting. I just like, don't engage.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Oh you don't engage.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Yeah, if someone's gonna call me ugly, I'm gonna say, actually,
- 19:06Speaker 5: I'm really beautiful.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but I thank you.
- 19:10Speaker 4: For these comments. She ruined the pick. Anyway, all that work,
- 19:14Speaker 4: and look what happened. By the way, you didn't you
- 19:16Speaker 4: look just.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Like photo and smiling.
- 19:22Speaker 4: This is the most immature, annoying.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Ass Yeah wait, what did I respond to?
- 19:25Speaker 4: That level of insecurity is insane? Are you said?
- 19:31Speaker 5: So?
- 19:32Speaker 4: The burden said, this is the most annoying immature ss
- 19:34Speaker 4: and somebody else said it's immature to want to be
- 19:37Speaker 4: close to someone, and then somebody said when other people
- 19:40Speaker 4: are already surrounding them posted the picture, then yeah, and
- 19:43Speaker 4: then somebody else said, you realize if they had a problem,
- 19:46Speaker 4: they would have never made this right. And then you
- 19:48Speaker 4: said that's correct.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Like someone I saw a comment that was like you can.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Tell, like they're all closer because they have the same
- 19:58Speaker 1: hair color. Look at their hair color versus I'm like this,
- 20:00Speaker 1: who are these are these children? Like who's commenting on
- 20:04Speaker 1: this is the weirdest you really hit like this niche
- 20:08Speaker 1: weird pocket. Yeah, you never know like when that is
- 20:11Speaker 1: the thing with TikTok and reels like you just you
- 20:14Speaker 1: throw it up and you never know where it's gonna go.
- 20:17Speaker 2: And first time going viral and I'm like, bring it.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Off, baby, Engagement is engagement.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah you want to troll me atroll right back? Thank you.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I just posted that like clip of Gracie walking into
- 20:29Speaker 1: the party at uh oh my TikTok and it's at
- 20:32Speaker 1: one point seven million views, like her fans are just
- 20:34Speaker 1: like so obsessed.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Not quite as viral as mine, but.
- 20:38Speaker 3: No, no, no, it's not.
- 20:39Speaker 1: It's like half I'm not even in it though, so
- 20:41Speaker 1: anything negative is just like but everyone's like wow, you.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Know, yeah, do you have any trolls on that? No?
- 20:47Speaker 1: No, yeah, no, they're like she's ethereal she looks like
- 20:52Speaker 1: Lexi Gray, you know, they're like.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Assess of her.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Anyways, that was a little bit about me this week.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Well, just thrilled for you that you have hit a
- 21:03Speaker 1: viral streak and just taking it in stride.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Yeah, bring on the trolls.
- 21:10Speaker 3: I don't want them. Don't come. I don't like the trolls.
- 21:13Speaker 2: I can handle them.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Yeah, that's good. Okay.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I don't know me, they don't know me at all.
- 21:19Speaker 3: I'm still going. She does not care, but we're still going.
- 21:23Speaker 5: If my friends and family were saying this stuff, I
- 21:26Speaker 5: would care.
- 21:26Speaker 2: But these trolls. Please. Yeah, no, pack a lunch, Pack
- 21:32Speaker 2: a lunch. Yeah. I think we have to go back,
- 21:35Speaker 2: and I think we have to take another break.
- 21:37Speaker 3: No, we don't know, we know. No, man, it's been
- 21:39Speaker 3: like five minutes staying.
- 21:41Speaker 1: But we are gonna do at least one dear Bonnie
- 21:44Speaker 1: before we take our next break, all right, Mark to do.
- 21:46Speaker 4: The first one here? Yeah, first off, I just want
- 21:50Speaker 4: to say a big thank you for all the positive
- 21:51Speaker 4: energy and light you bring every week to the podcast.
- 21:54Speaker 4: There's a guy I used to work with for six years.
- 21:56Speaker 4: We became close. We got lunch together multiple times a week.
- 21:59Speaker 4: I didn't think much of a first, except that I
- 22:01Speaker 4: really appreciated his friendship, But as the years went by,
- 22:04Speaker 4: I caught feelings. I never did anything about it because
- 22:06Speaker 4: we were colleagues that would have made things awkward. Well,
- 22:09Speaker 4: he was let go last year, but we've maintained our
- 22:12Speaker 4: friendship and made up once every few months. We don't
- 22:15Speaker 4: text regularly, but he likes and replies on my instagrams.
- 22:18Speaker 4: We can go weeks without talking, but we meet up.
- 22:20Speaker 4: I always feel like we have the best time. Last
- 22:22Speaker 4: week we met up, he'd smile and wink at me.
- 22:25Speaker 4: He asked to hold his hand to feel how cold
- 22:27Speaker 4: it was. He he had to wake up early the
- 22:29Speaker 4: next day, but we ended up walking around aimlessly and
- 22:31Speaker 4: chatting in a park until two in the morning. We
- 22:34Speaker 4: talked about going for pickleball and he said, yes, we
- 22:36Speaker 4: should definitely do that. Message me when you're free. So
- 22:39Speaker 4: this makes me confuse and frustrated because I'm not sure
- 22:41Speaker 4: why he's not taking more of an initiative to find
- 22:43Speaker 4: a time to meet if he's really interested, instead of
- 22:46Speaker 4: waiting for me to reach out to him. We have
- 22:48Speaker 4: mutual colleagues and friends. They say he's obviously into me
- 22:51Speaker 4: when we meet up. Sometimes I feel like he does too,
- 22:54Speaker 4: but I don't know why. When we're not together, he
- 22:55Speaker 4: doesn't put in the effort to chat or meet up
- 22:57Speaker 4: more often, which makes me think that maybe he doesn't
- 22:59Speaker 4: like me that way. I don't want to ruin the friendship.
- 23:02Speaker 4: What should I do help?
- 23:08Speaker 1: This is one of those where I think you just
- 23:09Speaker 1: say hey, kiss me. I think you saw I don't
- 23:15Speaker 1: think you say kiss me. I think you just say hey.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Is this do you see?
- 23:20Speaker 8: Like?
- 23:20Speaker 3: Is this friendship? Or is there like do you see
- 23:23Speaker 3: me more than a friend? Or is this friendship?
- 23:26Speaker 2: Because like you know, it's better than words. Actions exactly
- 23:31Speaker 2: what an action is?
- 23:32Speaker 3: What kiss that? You said kiss me? Which is words?
- 23:36Speaker 5: So instead of saying kiss me, just kiss him, just
- 23:40Speaker 5: go in kiss him. If he backs off and says WHOA,
- 23:42Speaker 5: then you have your clear answer. If he leans in
- 23:44Speaker 5: and makes out with you, you have your answer.
- 23:46Speaker 3: I would much rather be rejected by.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Words than a pull away.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Yeah, coming from a girl that's been pulled away many times.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Yes, yes, who's pulled away from you?
- 23:57Speaker 5: I don't know Matthew from college, Pete, that's real.
- 24:03Speaker 3: You've been pulled away from when we need to kiss.
- 24:05Speaker 2: It's fine, I'm fine, everything's fine.
- 24:11Speaker 3: She's hitting all the friends characters.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Yeah, So anyways, I think you just go in for
- 24:16Speaker 5: a kiss. That's the telltale way.
- 24:18Speaker 4: You can decide words or kiss. But it's time for
- 24:21Speaker 4: you to make an initiative here. And you're worried about
- 24:23Speaker 4: we're in the friendship. There is no this is over.
- 24:25Speaker 4: It's already over because you have feelings for him, So
- 24:27Speaker 4: there is no future friendship here. So you need to
- 24:29Speaker 4: make the move, whether it's with words or with actions,
- 24:32Speaker 4: because this we need to We need to get out
- 24:34Speaker 4: of this limbo that we're in. We need to get
- 24:36Speaker 4: out of it.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I don't think the friendship's over because I think if
- 24:38Speaker 1: she's like, hey, are we you know? What is this
- 24:41Speaker 1: and he's like, oh, I just here as a friend.
- 24:43Speaker 1: If she needs space, she can take it. But I
- 24:44Speaker 1: think that if they have a and she knows the
- 24:47Speaker 1: I don't know, I had her friendship with a guy.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and guess what. He had a crush on you,
- 24:52Speaker 2: I know.
- 24:52Speaker 1: But then and then he was like I just need
- 24:54Speaker 1: to take time, and then we were friends again, and like.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Now are you still friends?
- 24:57Speaker 3: Now?
- 24:59Speaker 2: Yeah, when's the time you talked to this guy?
- 25:02Speaker 3: I mean he lives in San Diego, he's married.
- 25:04Speaker 8: Now.
- 25:04Speaker 5: I know he's saying your friend Lee, but like, the
- 25:07Speaker 5: friendship's ruined no matter what, You're not going to keep
- 25:10Speaker 5: this friend when you're married.
- 25:13Speaker 3: I know, but she's not married and neither is he.
- 25:15Speaker 1: So I'm just saying if it's if he's like, I
- 25:18Speaker 1: don't I like you as a friend and she enjoys
- 25:20Speaker 1: being around him and is like, now she has a
- 25:23Speaker 1: clear idea of what the relationship is. They can just
- 25:26Speaker 1: be friends without any expectations.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Can But I think there the friendship has a cell
- 25:29Speaker 4: by date on it because one of you are going
- 25:32Speaker 4: to be in a relationship and that's the end of
- 25:33Speaker 4: the friendship. And that's fine. I know what's in a relationship,
- 25:35Speaker 4: but there's going to be some day.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Yes, So you're just like, you don't have friends with
- 25:39Speaker 1: people because they might eventually get into relationship.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Friends with people I used to have crushes on.
- 25:44Speaker 9: Yes, same interesting yeah, I disagree anyway, Guys, there's something
- 25:51Speaker 9: about this generation of guys, whether it's millennials or gen Z,
- 25:54Speaker 9: they really are bad at taking the initiative.
- 25:56Speaker 4: And obviously that's a big generalization and I'm sure there
- 25:59Speaker 4: are exceptions to that, but generally speaking, they seem very
- 26:02Speaker 4: scared of making a move. It's time to make a move, Anonymous, Yeah.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I just also am like, here's my thought on if
- 26:09Speaker 1: I like, if I like someone, do I want to
- 26:13Speaker 1: be with someone who is like, you know, the whole
- 26:16Speaker 1: thing if he wanted to do he would?
- 26:18Speaker 3: Or do you want to see she would?
- 26:19Speaker 1: I've always thought like, well, some people are just more shy,
- 26:22Speaker 1: they're a little more hesitant. But it's also like, do
- 26:25Speaker 1: you want someone who's not gonna take the initiative? Like
- 26:27Speaker 1: do you want someone that you have to ask to
- 26:29Speaker 1: make the move? Or do you want someone who's gonna
- 26:31Speaker 1: make it clear that you don't have to be in
- 26:33Speaker 1: this confusing state? Like is it even worth it at
- 26:36Speaker 1: this point? Is this your guy? Because it's the guy
- 26:38Speaker 1: that you want gonna be like scared to be straightforward
- 26:43Speaker 1: with you about his feelings.
- 26:45Speaker 4: This is a fair point because they were saying if
- 26:47Speaker 4: he wants to be with you. You will know it.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I have never had a fleeing a relationship where I
- 26:54Speaker 1: wasn't one thousand percent sure that the person had the
- 26:57Speaker 1: same feelings for me.
- 27:00Speaker 4: But why is he if I'm him, I'm not walking
- 27:02Speaker 4: around till two in the morning with somebody I don't.
- 27:04Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 27:05Speaker 1: But I'm also like, so is he shot? What's the
- 27:10Speaker 1: hold up is he? Is it a personality?
- 27:13Speaker 4: It's fear of rejection.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Man.
- 27:16Speaker 5: Now I'm thinking about things a little differently because I
- 27:18Speaker 5: was thinking about.
- 27:19Speaker 2: You know who?
- 27:21Speaker 3: I know who? Oh yeah, we used.
- 27:25Speaker 5: To hang out all the time, just the two of
- 27:27Speaker 5: us hung out. He loved hanging out with me as
- 27:30Speaker 5: a friend. Called to you, told me you want to
- 27:33Speaker 5: get a drink? I want to do this, I want
- 27:35Speaker 5: to go to this workout. And I was into him.
- 27:38Speaker 5: I was like, why is he making a move? He
- 27:40Speaker 5: clearly didn't want to. Now he's married to somebody else, spoiler?
- 27:47Speaker 4: What was he doing all that?
- 27:48Speaker 3: I know as a person and wanted to.
- 27:52Speaker 4: I'm cool, very beyond cool, but just as a friend,
- 27:56Speaker 4: that's all.
- 27:57Speaker 2: It's odd to me. It was so odd to me.
- 27:59Speaker 2: I was like hell, hell, how much more? Like can
- 28:01Speaker 2: I put my boobs up?
- 28:02Speaker 3: And like, yeah, I mean you can only put your
- 28:07Speaker 3: boobs up so much.
- 28:08Speaker 2: You can only put your boobs up.
- 28:10Speaker 3: And if he wants it, he wants the boob he doesn't.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Right, And so like, moves could have been made.
- 28:16Speaker 3: But did you kiss him?
- 28:18Speaker 6: No?
- 28:18Speaker 3: Did you ask him to kiss you?
- 28:19Speaker 4: No?
- 28:21Speaker 5: I don't know why I didn't, though in hindsight I
- 28:23Speaker 5: wish I would have. So that's my advice to you, anonymous.
- 28:27Speaker 5: In hindsight, I had a similar situation. I did not
- 28:30Speaker 5: make a move, and I will always wonder what if
- 28:34Speaker 5: I mean really?
- 28:39Speaker 2: But yeah, so I think you should just make your.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Move, all right, right, great, not all in agreement.
- 28:45Speaker 1: And I also think you deserve to have someone who
- 28:48Speaker 1: just makes a move, even though I know a lot
- 28:49Speaker 1: of people disagree and be like.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Not everyone straightforward.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Some guys need a little push personally, I think you
- 28:55Speaker 1: deserve not to be in a state of confusion with
- 28:57Speaker 1: the person that you're gonna be.
- 28:58Speaker 5: I was so confused in that situation, and he wasn't
- 29:01Speaker 5: the right guy right right.
- 29:03Speaker 3: And the right guy didn't make you feel confused about
- 29:05Speaker 3: his feelings for you.
- 29:06Speaker 2: No, he didn't. He said, I'll pick you up on
- 29:08Speaker 2: my way to the date.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:11Speaker 4: I hope she can put all this advice together and
- 29:13Speaker 4: make it somewhat cohesive and make a decision bullet points.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Okay, well now let's take a break.
- 29:21Speaker 4: But we'll tease it.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, this is a good one. Okay, is
- 29:25Speaker 3: bad at texting a red flag?
- 29:28Speaker 2: Oh no?
- 29:30Speaker 4: All right, well, all.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Right, we're back mark.
- 29:53Speaker 1: This is well, we know Tanya's opinion, but let's hear
- 29:56Speaker 1: the meat of the question.
- 29:59Speaker 4: I love the podcast and hearing all of your stories.
- 30:01Speaker 4: You guys make the work week easier, So thank you
- 30:04Speaker 4: for that. That is very sweet. That is the goal, right,
- 30:06Speaker 4: we want to make the tough week easier. That's sweet.
- 30:10Speaker 4: I'm twenty nine, started dating again after a long bad relationship.
- 30:13Speaker 4: I've gone on a few okay dates, but I know
- 30:15Speaker 4: it's a numbers game, so I keep trying. I've finally
- 30:19Speaker 4: met a guy and we clicked on our first date. Chemistry, conversation,
- 30:22Speaker 4: We're great. We've gone in a few dates since then.
- 30:24Speaker 4: They've all been great. My issue is the communication between
- 30:27Speaker 4: the dates not so great. Texts are short, sometimes he
- 30:31Speaker 4: leaves me on red gives me reasons like, uh, my
- 30:33Speaker 4: phone died, I was busy at work. I told him,
- 30:36Speaker 4: you can just tell me if he's busier can't talk.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Sometimes he goes a day or two without saying anything,
- 30:41Speaker 4: and it's just weird to me. He's three years younger
- 30:43Speaker 4: than me, so I'm not sure if it's an age
- 30:44Speaker 4: thing as well, am I overreacting? A part of me
- 30:47Speaker 4: wonders if he's just not interested. Of note, we've both
- 30:51Speaker 4: initiated making plans to hang and he says he really
- 30:53Speaker 4: likes me. But at the same time, actions speak louder
- 30:56Speaker 4: than words. I'd love any advice all four of you
- 30:58Speaker 4: could give.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Goes back to just goes back, similar, similar, But.
- 31:03Speaker 1: I also here's my thing with this, because I don't
- 31:05Speaker 1: think that everyone is a good communicator, especially over text
- 31:09Speaker 1: and calls. Like I do think people are just like
- 31:12Speaker 1: lazy about charging their phone, like I have some people
- 31:15Speaker 1: that just their phones never.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Charged, and I do believe that.
- 31:19Speaker 1: However, it seems like you want someone who is a
- 31:21Speaker 1: good texter and is a good communicator, and I don't
- 31:24Speaker 1: think that this is something I think this is something
- 31:28Speaker 1: that's going to continually bother you.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Oh wow, in the relationship.
- 31:32Speaker 5: So as someone who is not a good texture myself thyself. Yeah,
- 31:36Speaker 5: like in the beginning, I would always like screenshot Robbie's
- 31:39Speaker 5: text and send it to you to come up with
- 31:40Speaker 5: like a funny, witty response.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's not the same as not responding.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but I could that could have taken a day,
- 31:45Speaker 2: Like you know what I mean.
- 31:47Speaker 4: We never took a day to respond, lovely, it's running
- 31:49Speaker 4: a day workshopping responses.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Very different. This is very different, by the way.
- 31:55Speaker 4: Group of ten people similar demographic to Robbie, how would
- 31:58Speaker 4: you respond if I said this to him?
- 32:01Speaker 2: But it could be the same thing.
- 32:02Speaker 5: It could be like this guy is maybe not the
- 32:04Speaker 5: best text or he wants to be like funny and
- 32:05Speaker 5: witty and on it with you, and so he's like
- 32:07Speaker 5: afraid to respond because his response is lame, and like
- 32:11Speaker 5: he's sending it off to his friends to workshop as well.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Is that delusional?
- 32:16Speaker 3: I say yes, But there are others who will say no.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Some guys, some people are just bad at texting. I've
- 32:23Speaker 4: got guys like my friend Kurt. I know if I
- 32:24Speaker 4: text him here from him in three days. Maybe it's
- 32:26Speaker 4: just kind of how some guys are. So I think
- 32:28Speaker 4: maybe it's just how he is. But like Beca said,
- 32:31Speaker 4: if this is important to you, then yes, it's a
- 32:33Speaker 4: red flag because everyone's what flags are.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Different, it's a beige flag. I like, it's not that bad.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I just think if it's y'all aren't even an official
- 32:44Speaker 1: couple and it's bothering you, then when you get together,
- 32:47Speaker 1: that's going to be annoying.
- 32:49Speaker 5: But also she hasn't even told him that it's annoying.
- 32:52Speaker 5: Why don't you tell him, Hey, I don't like this,
- 32:55Speaker 5: because that's.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Going to come across like naggi and like, I'm not
- 32:58Speaker 1: even your boyfriend. Why are you expecting me to just
- 33:01Speaker 1: like respond on.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Your Then maybe she shouldn't.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Shouldn't what expect that?
- 33:08Speaker 2: This is just who he is.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's fine, but she wants someone who's gonna communicate.
- 33:13Speaker 1: She thinks you Robbie's a very good texter and communicator
- 33:18Speaker 1: and if.
- 33:18Speaker 3: He wasn't, you would not. You are talking about you
- 33:22Speaker 3: never miss a.
- 33:23Speaker 4: Beat, like you're the other extreme from this guy. This
- 33:26Speaker 4: guy like season and Red just ignores it goes back
- 33:28Speaker 4: to work. Were you obsessed about what you're gonna say? Back? Becca?
- 33:31Speaker 4: What should I say? And even when you're not in
- 33:33Speaker 4: that situation with him. I think you respond very quickly
- 33:36Speaker 4: and very well. Yours respond to me immediately. I understand,
- 33:41Speaker 4: But I'm just saying I think I don't think you're
- 33:42Speaker 4: a bad texture.
- 33:43Speaker 3: No, and I also think that.
- 33:44Speaker 1: But your reason of not being what you consider not
- 33:48Speaker 1: being a good Texter is because you're thoughtful about your response.
- 33:50Speaker 3: And I don't.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Necessarily think this guy is being thoughtful about his response.
- 33:54Speaker 2: But that's you know what that is. That's an assumption,
- 33:56Speaker 2: it is.
- 33:56Speaker 4: And you're an overthinker. He's an underthinker.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Assuming makes an ass out of you and me.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Yes, but I don't I feel I feel confident in
- 34:05Speaker 1: my my stance here.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Well, you have two different stances, Anonymous, So take the
- 34:09Speaker 2: yellow brick road.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Yeah, the yellow brick road.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I just think that, and I do think if you
- 34:17Speaker 1: want to, if you really like him and you want
- 34:18Speaker 1: to have a I'm scared you're scaring me.
- 34:22Speaker 3: She's staring at me the head.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Down makes really standing straight.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm just gonna say, if you want to have
- 34:29Speaker 1: a conversation, like hey, like I I can't tell if
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'm expecting too much, but I'm not used to not
- 34:35Speaker 1: hearing from the person. I don't want to take it
- 34:36Speaker 1: the wrong way, but it's, you know, making It's making
- 34:39Speaker 1: me wonder if you're like interested and I just wanted
- 34:42Speaker 1: to make sure we're on the same page.
- 34:43Speaker 3: That would be a very mature, healthy way to handle it.
- 34:46Speaker 3: If you can get there.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Take your take your brick road, take your time, Take
- 34:52Speaker 2: your time, take your brick.
- 34:56Speaker 4: Becka, do you want to jump with the most salacious
- 34:58Speaker 4: of these?
- 34:59Speaker 3: Is that my sex life? Yes? It's short and sweet.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Hi guys, so grateful for your pod. I love every
- 35:05Speaker 4: Monday and Thursday because of you. Again, I need some advice.
- 35:09Speaker 4: My husband and I've been married four years and have
- 35:11Speaker 4: a one and a half year old. Ever since we
- 35:12Speaker 4: had our child, our intimacy has been black. Oh no,
- 35:15Speaker 4: he claims he isn't cheating, he isn't watching porn, he
- 35:18Speaker 4: isn't masturbating, et cetera. I genuinely believe him, But why
- 35:22Speaker 4: does he never want sex with me? I've tried initiating.
- 35:25Speaker 4: Oh this, this sentence hurts me. I tried initiating and
- 35:29Speaker 4: he turned me down because you wanted to watch a
- 35:31Speaker 4: show or go to sleep. I feel sad at this point.
- 35:35Speaker 4: Am I crazy? How do I fix this.
- 35:39Speaker 2: I don't think that's sad.
- 35:40Speaker 4: I think it's so sad.
- 35:41Speaker 5: Why if you're tired, the last thing I want to
- 35:44Speaker 5: do is be jumping around on someone.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Well, and I'm again with the generalizations. I feel like
- 35:50Speaker 4: with women that is the case. I feel like men
- 35:52Speaker 4: will take the jumping around any chance they can get
- 35:54Speaker 4: the jumping around.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Yes, you think.
- 35:58Speaker 1: I don't think I have a get time an opinion
- 36:00Speaker 1: of this because I don't. I'm not dealing with the
- 36:02Speaker 1: man woman dynamic, you know.
- 36:05Speaker 4: I mean, I don't. I think it's different for everybody,
- 36:07Speaker 4: and it's certainly in my case that is the case.
- 36:11Speaker 4: I don't that's a wonderful offer, and I'm never turning
- 36:13Speaker 4: that down.
- 36:14Speaker 2: But I also think that you offer something every day.
- 36:18Speaker 4: If only that were the case.
- 36:19Speaker 1: But I agree, if it's like a one off, he's
- 36:22Speaker 1: had a long week and he's started, he just wants
- 36:24Speaker 1: to decompress and watch the show. But if it's like
- 36:26Speaker 1: every time she's offering, well.
- 36:27Speaker 5: Well, I think the difference here is because I don't
- 36:32Speaker 5: think it's a bad sign. Like I've I've wanted to
- 36:36Speaker 5: and he's not wanted to. But I like, I'm ready
- 36:38Speaker 5: to go every day. So it's not like this like
- 36:41Speaker 5: exciting thing, do you know what I mean? Like I
- 36:43Speaker 5: it is what it is, but the fact that they
- 36:46Speaker 5: aren't having it, they are not having sex and then
- 36:49Speaker 5: she's tried and he turned it down that you know,
- 36:53Speaker 5: that hurts I think more because it's not like they
- 36:56Speaker 5: just had sex the day before, you know what I mean.
- 36:58Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe talk to someone about it and try to
- 37:03Speaker 1: figure out because remember when we had that sex therapist
- 37:07Speaker 1: on and did.
- 37:07Speaker 3: We have a sex therapist on? No?
- 37:12Speaker 1: Yeah, like a sex like couple therapists, and she has
- 37:16Speaker 1: like she had like the show where they figure out
- 37:18Speaker 1: their styles of.
- 37:19Speaker 3: We did have someone yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah we
- 37:21Speaker 3: did trying to make me feel trying to gaslight me.
- 37:26Speaker 1: No, So I remember I found it so interesting because
- 37:29Speaker 1: she was like trying to find like what turned your
- 37:32Speaker 1: partner on and like what it is, like.
- 37:34Speaker 2: The languages of sex or something.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Yes, I think that is so such valuable information because
- 37:41Speaker 1: it could be figuring out what it is that gets
- 37:44Speaker 1: him in the mood because it might just be different
- 37:46Speaker 1: than what gets you in the mood, and if it
- 37:48Speaker 1: could be like a date before or something that makes
- 37:51Speaker 1: y'all feel connected, so that that that natural progression of
- 37:55Speaker 1: sex is like open for him. He might just be
- 37:58Speaker 1: like shut down right now, not feeling like intimate or
- 38:01Speaker 1: connected with you. And I think it's like refinding that
- 38:03Speaker 1: those things that excite you about each other.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Because I've heard.
- 38:06Speaker 1: From every single person that I know that's had kids,
- 38:10Speaker 1: especially in those first years. Mark, I feel like we've
- 38:12Speaker 1: talked about this that it's hard and like intimacy and
- 38:15Speaker 1: trying to connect with their partner is just different. It's
- 38:18Speaker 1: a different phase of life.
- 38:22Speaker 3: It is.
- 38:23Speaker 1: You have like a baby that you're trying to I bet,
- 38:26Speaker 1: and so it might just be an adjustment.
- 38:28Speaker 4: And you know how like guys are like afraid to
- 38:32Speaker 4: do it when you're pregnant because they think they're going
- 38:34Speaker 4: to hurt the baby or something, you know, the silly things.
- 38:36Speaker 4: But you know, we have that in mind because everything's different.
- 38:39Speaker 4: And even after you have the baby, things are different.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Your boobs are now feeding your children, Like it's weird
- 38:44Speaker 4: to be like excited for them when they're actually generating. YEA,
- 38:50Speaker 4: so body it's much more functional now and I don't
- 38:52Speaker 4: and it's so it's a weird. It's not that it's
- 38:55Speaker 4: not sexy anymore, because it absolutely can be. But guys,
- 38:57Speaker 4: I think are a little freaked out by some of
- 38:59Speaker 4: those changes and and so there might be something to that.
- 39:03Speaker 4: But I think Becky, you're right, you should have a
- 39:05Speaker 4: conversation like what turns you on? Yeah, if you were to,
- 39:08Speaker 4: you mentioned watching porn, If you were to, what do
- 39:10Speaker 4: you like to watch? What are you into? And maybe
- 39:12Speaker 4: we can incorporate some of that in the bedroom if
- 39:14Speaker 4: it's not too.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Weird or if it's not.
- 39:21Speaker 4: But I think there's a conversation there because you could
- 39:23Speaker 4: be freaked out by certain things. He doesn't want to
- 39:25Speaker 4: mention because it doesn't want to hurt your feelings, But
- 39:26Speaker 4: it would be that you know what that is, And maybe.
- 39:28Speaker 5: It is maybe it is exactly that, Like he sees
- 39:33Speaker 5: the boobs as like his child's food supplies, if he
- 39:36Speaker 5: doesn't want to suck on them and accidentally get some
- 39:38Speaker 5: of the food, you know what I mean?
- 39:39Speaker 4: Yeah, And the kids just came out of the other area.
- 39:42Speaker 4: It's weird for you to want to do things to
- 39:44Speaker 4: that area that just created life.
- 39:45Speaker 5: It's weird, right, you know, I didn't even think of
- 39:48Speaker 5: it like that, Like, you're not gonna smack.
- 39:50Speaker 10: My, I'm sorry, smack your What what's he smacking that
- 40:03Speaker 10: sounds so painful?
- 40:08Speaker 3: Anything other? What is he smacking? Not the smack.
- 40:20Speaker 2: The thing is he's not smacking it, okay, he's not.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Just upset to know that he does. That's really upsetting.
- 40:33Speaker 1: There's something about the space bunds that makes it more.
- 40:41Speaker 5: The first are also loose, like they're super loose, so
- 40:43Speaker 5: I feel like they're.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Like jiggling on my head.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Man.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, well any next question?
- 40:52Speaker 3: Mark?
- 40:52Speaker 4: All right, well shall we? I mean, we're getting towards
- 40:54Speaker 4: the end of our time.
- 40:55Speaker 2: We should wrap it up.
- 40:56Speaker 4: We can jump to the fun one. Yeah, yeah, let's
- 40:58Speaker 4: This is from mollyhi Beckatania Mark and Eastern Day one
- 41:01Speaker 4: scrubber Here. This is a fun question that I ask
- 41:04Speaker 4: my friends and people I meet and find that they
- 41:06Speaker 4: be telling of who they are and their personality. You
- 41:08Speaker 4: all may have experienced this already, especially Tanya. But who
- 41:11Speaker 4: is a celebrity that you know that you know you
- 41:14Speaker 4: would hit it off with and become friends with if
- 41:16Speaker 4: you met them organically at a bar and why or
- 41:19Speaker 4: in the case of U four, a work or an
- 41:21Speaker 4: influencer event, And if this has happened already. Who is it?
- 41:24Speaker 4: Mine has always been Jamie Lee Curtis. I have no
- 41:26Speaker 4: real reason to believe this, but I just know in
- 41:28Speaker 4: my heart to be true. She wants to hear our thoughts.
- 41:30Speaker 4: So celebrity, you just know, maybe you've never met them,
- 41:33Speaker 4: you just know that if you did meet them, you
- 41:34Speaker 4: guys would hit it off and you'd be besties. I
- 41:40Speaker 4: got one. I can go first, Jason Bateman. I think
- 41:44Speaker 4: Jason Bateman and I would be best friends.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:46Speaker 4: Yeah, we're similar age, our kids are similar age. I
- 41:49Speaker 4: always think he's great in his movies and such. He's
- 41:52Speaker 4: a baseball fan. I think we'd be good friends.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Good one. That's actually a really good one.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Do you have anyone off the top of your head,
- 42:01Speaker 3: So off the top of my head.
- 42:04Speaker 4: You can't say Kayler.
- 42:09Speaker 5: Top of my head. I want to say Chloe Kardashian,
- 42:12Speaker 5: Oh that's a good one, thank you, or Courtney Kardashian
- 42:16Speaker 5: or Kim kard I honestly, all the Kardashians adopt me.
- 42:20Speaker 2: I'm kidding. Yeah, I feel like I feel like all
- 42:24Speaker 2: of them. Weirdly, I feel like, yeah, they.
- 42:28Speaker 4: Would love you, they'd want you hanging out at the mansion.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like maybe Chloe Moore, maybe Courtney Moore.
- 42:32Speaker 2: I don't know. It's a toss up.
- 42:34Speaker 5: You could really just hit And I think Kendall and
- 42:37Speaker 5: Kylie would enjoy me as well.
- 42:39Speaker 4: Sure, kind of like an aunt.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I always feel that way with Kylie Jenner.
- 42:45Speaker 5: Yeah, that shots fire came over that comment. Uh, that's
- 42:53Speaker 5: kind of where my brain went. Was the Kardashian clan
- 42:55Speaker 5: and Chris Jenner. I'd a that holiday party.
- 42:59Speaker 2: I feel like it'd be fun times.
- 43:02Speaker 3: It's so basic to say this, but I always feel it.
- 43:05Speaker 2: When I know what you're gonna say. Jennifer Anderson, No,
- 43:08Speaker 2: I bet you would, though I do.
- 43:10Speaker 3: I think so too.
- 43:11Speaker 1: But I was gonna say Taylor Swift, like I just
- 43:13Speaker 1: feel like, I literally feel like if we just like
- 43:16Speaker 1: hung out and had a conversation that like outside of
- 43:19Speaker 1: her fame world, that we would be friends.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Yeah, but she's so famous.
- 43:25Speaker 4: Yeah, it changes people.
- 43:26Speaker 3: I don't think it changes her. I just don't know
- 43:28Speaker 3: that she has time for me.
- 43:29Speaker 4: I think that level of fame cannot help but change people.
- 43:32Speaker 1: I agree, Oh yeah, because every friend you make you
- 43:35Speaker 1: have to go like, yeah, why are do they just
- 43:39Speaker 1: would they be friends with me without the success.
- 43:41Speaker 9: Right.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Yeah, there was somebody I saw interviewed recently and I
- 43:46Speaker 1: was like, she is so funny and I feel like
- 43:48Speaker 1: I could be like, she has the humor that I love.
- 43:50Speaker 3: But I can't remember who it was, but it was like.
- 43:53Speaker 5: A Drew Barrymore, no man love her, but no Martha Stewart,
- 43:58Speaker 5: no Ben Hathaway.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Someone wrote me on Instagram and said they worked for
- 44:02Speaker 1: her and they worked in a store and they all
- 44:06Speaker 1: used to fight over like not wanting to help her
- 44:08Speaker 1: because she was so rude.
- 44:11Speaker 5: I imagine, Yeah, I imagine that she's quite prickly.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, Like I don't know that she'd be the
- 44:17Speaker 3: one that i'd have.
- 44:19Speaker 2: A dinner party with.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I agree, but she's fascinating. Yeah yeah, So
- 44:24Speaker 1: I guess it's so basic, but I think Taylor.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I know, I went basic too with the Kardashians.
- 44:28Speaker 3: I'm doing.
- 44:28Speaker 2: My My FIRSTLF.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Was Kylie Jenner because every time I see her videos,
- 44:32Speaker 1: I think she's so funny, and I really I think
- 44:35Speaker 1: the Kardashians were a good one.
- 44:37Speaker 2: Thank you not to scroll then, yeah.
- 44:40Speaker 3: You don't need to. I was scrolling millennial woman.
- 44:43Speaker 8: Celeb Yeah wow, all right, well that's all for now,
- 44:52Speaker 8: but we will be back on Monday.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Yeah, stay tuned for that. We can't wait. Have a
- 44:59Speaker 1: great weekend.
- 45:00Speaker 3: We love you, somebody love you.
- 45:01Speaker 10: Bye mhm.
