- 0:00Speaker 1: I was realizing how spoiled I am. I had Chris
- 0:02Speaker 1: Brown and Usher tickets and didn't go.
- 0:05Speaker 2: What?
- 0:06Speaker 1: Do you know how many people?
- 0:07Speaker 2: I've had females hit me up like, can you get
- 0:10Speaker 2: me some tickets to the.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Chris Brown Usher? That's a very female concert. Now, if
- 0:15Speaker 1: it would have been Keith Sweat and Bobby Brown, I
- 0:18Speaker 1: would have been there. Really, dawg? And then I told
- 0:21Speaker 1: my wife, if this motherfucker come over here with these cherries,
- 0:26Speaker 1: I swear, oh, God, I dare you to even fix
- 0:29Speaker 1: your mouth. Who? Your wife? You know, he'd be coming
- 0:32Speaker 1: up with the cherries.
- 0:33Speaker 2: So this is a good question. What would you do
- 0:36Speaker 2: in that situation? Because you heard about, was it the
- 0:38Speaker 2: Kiki Palmer? Yes.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Yes.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:42Speaker 3: They ruin, you know, ruin their relationship.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:44Speaker 3: What would you do in that scenario?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Would you, would you have a conversation with your wife
- 0:49Speaker 2: before getting there?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yes. Or would you, or would you not listen? Let me, okay.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Or would you just, you see how mad I am already.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Or would you just really just trust your wife and
- 0:59Speaker 2: just understand like you, you, you ain't even got to
- 1:01Speaker 2: do all of that.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I don't trust Usher. Some of these women probably don't
- 1:05Speaker 1: even eat cherries. He pull out them cherries, you just see,
- 1:08Speaker 1: they just get memorized, like the cherry did not just open.
- 1:14Speaker 1: You know what's funny? I'm just thinking about it.
- 1:16Speaker 3: This is the comedian in me.
- 1:19Speaker 1: He come over there with a cherry, and you open
- 1:21Speaker 1: your mouth. That's how good he is.
- 1:23Speaker 2: What?
- 1:35Speaker 1: What up, y'all? This is Chris Spencer and T.O. You're
- 1:38Speaker 1: watching Get to the Point, a show where we don't
- 1:41Speaker 1: know how we're going to start, but we have an
- 1:43Speaker 1: idea that we have to finish within an hour. I'm
- 1:45Speaker 1: in tears. Can you imagine? Oh, I'm crying right now.
- 1:49Speaker 1: That's when you find out your man's coming out the closet. Woo!
- 1:52Speaker 2: Boy.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Welcome to Get to the Point. Get to the point.
- 1:56Speaker 1: We just got to the point. Quick, fast, and then
- 1:59Speaker 1: a hurry. We're in week four, but we're going to
- 2:01Speaker 1: discuss week three, which was a hell of a week.
- 2:03Speaker 3: For some teams, yeah.
- 2:04Speaker 1: A lot of your picks came to fruition. Man, that's
- 2:07Speaker 1: what I do. You are a swami. That's what I do.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Because Berman ain't got nothing on me. This first game, Jaguars, Patriots.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Drake May, question. Should New England be worried?
- 2:21Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Should they try to get Tom Brady out of retirement?
- 2:25Speaker 2: They can go deep in that quarterback roster. They can
- 2:31Speaker 2: go get Drew Bledsoe for that. But this, again, I
- 2:35Speaker 2: think this is just not a QB problem or an
- 2:39Speaker 2: offensive problem. Me personally, this started in the offseason. This
- 2:43Speaker 2: is a Vrabel, Diana Rossini scandal. I think this is
- 2:47Speaker 2: the curse of what's going on because a lot of people,
- 2:50Speaker 2: they kind of, They kind of miffed, sniffed at how
- 2:54Speaker 2: there wasn't really any repercussions.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 2:57Speaker 2: You know, with Mike Vrabel and this Diana Rossini scandal
- 3:00Speaker 2: going on.
- 3:01Speaker 1: It was like swept under the rug, right? Yeah.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Both of them are married, you know, fornicating, infidelity.
- 3:07Speaker 1: What is fornicating?
- 3:08Speaker 3: You know what it is. You know what it means.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Go look it up. But I think that's the problem.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And I think it has, honestly, it is affecting their season.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Mike Vrabel, he.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Was dealing with a lot of that. those off season
- 3:23Speaker 2: off season issues he wasn't really at all the practices
- 3:27Speaker 2: um he had to deal with some court stuff had
- 3:29Speaker 2: to deal he had to go get on his knees
- 3:31Speaker 2: to his wife like uh wife can you forgive me
- 3:33Speaker 2: i'm sure there's a lot of that going on um
- 3:35Speaker 2: so i think that's that's what we're witnessing but i
- 3:39Speaker 2: i'm hoping that they can turn it around especially with
- 3:41Speaker 2: the season that they had last year especially they were
- 3:44Speaker 2: really strong at the end of the season like they
- 3:46Speaker 2: were in the playoffs and really could have pushed for
- 3:50Speaker 2: winning the Super Bowl. They were that close. So to
- 3:53Speaker 2: have a disappointing just beginning of the season like this,
- 3:58Speaker 2: you just hope that they can turn it around. But, yeah,
- 4:01Speaker 2: this is definitely a problem. I can't tell you if
- 4:03Speaker 2: it's a QB problem or an offensive problem, but they
- 4:07Speaker 2: need to turn it around.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Your boy Aaron Rodgers came through. Oh, the old fella.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I keep calling him old. I guess I got to
- 4:13Speaker 1: stop because– I already told you that, man.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Age ain't nothing. 292 yards.
- 4:18Speaker 1: He passed four, three touchdowns, only one interception. They finally
- 4:22Speaker 1: showed some offense.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Look, man, I already told you guys, age is nothing
- 4:26Speaker 3: but a number.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Okay, I'm starting to believe it.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Actually, it's nothing but a word. Age is nothing but
- 4:30Speaker 3: a word.
- 4:32Speaker 2: And this guy, Aaron, I told you, this is really
- 4:34Speaker 2: his second year coming off from that Achilles. He's fully healed,
- 4:38Speaker 2: I believe. Aaron has really, I think— Just dug deep
- 4:43Speaker 2: down in his bag and pulled out that ayahuasca.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Right, yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 2: You know, he had left it in Green Bay. Yeah,
- 4:49Speaker 2: he left it in Green Bay. So, yeah, he had
- 4:51Speaker 2: left it in Green Bay. I think he had somebody
- 4:53Speaker 2: to ship it to him. But he's back on track.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I told you, don't count him out. Watch. I guarantee you,
- 5:00Speaker 2: toward the end of the season, let's see where he
- 5:02Speaker 2: is midseason, around week 8, 9, or 10. Watch where
- 5:07Speaker 2: he is. I think he ain't going to surprise people.
- 5:10Speaker 2: He's going to just show people what he's really capable of.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Joe Burrow, no bum this week. No, but again, AFC matchup,
- 5:18Speaker 2: this is what you expect.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Except, you said sometimes when they have these matchups that
- 5:25Speaker 1: the scores are low. These weren't low scores. Yeah, but
- 5:27Speaker 1: it's a close.
- 5:28Speaker 3: It's always like a three point game. It's always going
- 5:31Speaker 3: to be like a three point game.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I'm learning.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I'm learning. Every now and then you may have your three, nine, three,
- 5:36Speaker 2: six games or 12, six, you know, 12, three, something
- 5:40Speaker 2: like that. But again, it's always going to be close
- 5:42Speaker 2: because these guys know each other. They face each other
- 5:46Speaker 2: year in and year out. They're familiar with each other.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Defense is going to be really kind of stout. But yeah,
- 5:53Speaker 2: you see the vet, he came out on top in
- 5:55Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers.
- 5:56Speaker 1: And what do you think the Bengals need to do
- 5:58Speaker 1: to turn some things around?
- 5:59Speaker 2: Probably get Jamar Chase a little bit more involved. I mean,
- 6:02Speaker 2: you got to think, they have two capable receivers. When
- 6:05Speaker 2: I think of the Bengals and their receiving core, it
- 6:08Speaker 2: reminds me of the Dallas Cowboys and what they have
- 6:11Speaker 2: in Pickens and CeeDee Lamb. Dak Prescott having those two
- 6:17Speaker 2: just legitimate weapons. Joe Burrow, he has the same in T.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Higgins and Jamar Chase. They just have to find a
- 6:23Speaker 2: way to really just get those guys involved to make plays.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I mean, you've got to come out on top, especially
- 6:30Speaker 2: in these AFC division matchups. You want to kind of
- 6:33Speaker 2: like come out on top, and you've got to utilize
- 6:36Speaker 2: those weapons.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Let's go straight to the Cowboys. Is that one of
- 6:42Speaker 1: your favorite teams? First of all.
- 6:43Speaker 2: We're going to do something a little different today. I'm
- 6:45Speaker 2: tired of seeing these Cowboys. I'm tired of people talking
- 6:47Speaker 2: about them. Well, you played for the Cowboys.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Have some respect. Guess what?
- 6:50Speaker 2: And I played for the Bills, too. Yeah, so this
- 6:54Speaker 2: is what we're going to do. You can't. Is that legal?
- 6:59Speaker 2: This is what we're going to do. Bills Mafia, stand up.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Okay, well, we're going to talk about the Bills in
- 7:05Speaker 1: a second.
- 7:05Speaker 2: How does that look?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Is that good right there? Well, you know what? We'll
- 7:08Speaker 1: come back to the Cowboys. Poor Cowboys. Let's talk about
- 7:10Speaker 1: that Chargers-Bills game, right? You picked it. You were correct.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm always correct.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I don't know about always.
- 7:18Speaker 3: I'm always on point, though.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Your boy Justin Herbert.
- 7:21Speaker 3: What about him?
- 7:22Speaker 1: When does he stop getting a pass? Justin Herbert. Because
- 7:26Speaker 1: no matter what he does, it's going to be okay.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Which a lot of, we kind of alluded to last week,
- 7:34Speaker 1: a lot of the other quarterbacks don't get that kind
- 7:38Speaker 1: of favor. No. Is he blessed? Is he? Is he
- 7:45Speaker 1: not blessed? What's the word? Sometimes when you're anointed, they
- 7:49Speaker 1: want him to be the face of the.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Well, that's always been the ideal situation for really any
- 7:56Speaker 2: quarterback of a franchise.
- 7:57Speaker 1: And obviously, the trend has changed over the.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Last 10 years.
- 8:01Speaker 3: You've seen.
- 8:01Speaker 2: And even going into the season this year, I think...
- 8:05Speaker 2: I don't know how many black quarterbacks were starting this year,
- 8:08Speaker 2: but it was a lot of them. So... Now you're
- 8:12Speaker 2: seeing the typical used-to-be faces of franchises and faces of
- 8:19Speaker 2: the NFL starting to change a little bit.
- 8:22Speaker 3: It's starting to darken up a little bit.
- 8:24Speaker 2: So I can't say what's going on with Joe Burrow,
- 8:30Speaker 2: your Justin Herberts, guys like that.
- 8:33Speaker 1: You just keep getting opportunities. I mean, these dudes are 0-3.
- 8:37Speaker 1: When do you start hearing mentions of Like RG3, Colin Kaepernick.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick?
- 8:44Speaker 3: Those names.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Did you tell me you saw RG3 working out? What?
- 8:48Speaker 3: Boy, RG3, I am rooting for you.
- 8:52Speaker 2: If I had any say-so, I could push the needle
- 8:54Speaker 2: to get you on a squad right now based on
- 8:57Speaker 2: the video that I saw with his daughter out there 50,
- 9:00Speaker 2: 60 yards away moving the targets and he hitting them.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I mean, he's going.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Through full, like... Full cadence, full, like.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Ball, everything.
- 9:15Speaker 1: He look good, huh?
- 9:15Speaker 2: What?
- 9:16Speaker 3: But again, that's on air.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Like, I'm going to give him the.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Same criticism as I gave Cam. A lot of that's
- 9:23Speaker 2: on air. But to do what I saw was very impressive.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Very impressive. And again, you look at some of the
- 9:32Speaker 2: teams that could possibly use him right now with some
- 9:36Speaker 2: of the QB injuries.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Washington Commanders. Jaden Daniels, we don't really know.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Like I said, when he comes back, everybody's going to
- 9:45Speaker 2: be holding their breath every time he gets tackled. Just
- 9:49Speaker 2: like when Tua was leaving Miami, going to now the
- 9:53Speaker 2: Atlanta Falcons, he's hurt again.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Not even related to- He should really retire.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Man.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I don't know who his family are. are or his
- 10:01Speaker 1: loved ones. How much money y'all want?
- 10:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:05Speaker 2: But yeah, again, you have these quarterbacks like your Jalen Hurts,
- 10:09Speaker 2: your Geno Smith, your Lamar Jacksons. They're actually... they're they're
- 10:17Speaker 2: they're they're exceptional qbs sure and so again everybody again
- 10:21Speaker 2: like you said you have your dan orlowski's guy those
- 10:24Speaker 2: guys like that that have again they and they said
- 10:27Speaker 2: it themselves they see these white quarterbacks as they're kind
- 10:30Speaker 2: of like prototypical type of quarterback stand in the pocket
- 10:34Speaker 2: you know deliver the ball everywhere but the game has
- 10:36Speaker 2: changed yeah you're going to need that at some time
- 10:39Speaker 2: at some point but these black quarterbacks are starting to
- 10:42Speaker 2: really um They're about to erase a lot of things
- 10:47Speaker 2: as it relates to, like, prototypical type of quarterbacks because
- 10:50Speaker 2: the game has changed so much. And these guys, they
- 10:53Speaker 2: offer so much not only with their arms but with
- 10:56Speaker 2: their feet.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Because before it was just feet, right? At least.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, because everybody was always just running quarterback. That's all
- 11:02Speaker 3: they can do.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Now they've evolved, and they're showing that they're just not
- 11:06Speaker 2: just running quarterbacks. They can make all the throws, accurate throws,
- 11:11Speaker 2: dissect the defenses. And again, that was part of it too.
- 11:14Speaker 2: It's like, yo, they can't read defenses. They're not smart enough.
- 11:17Speaker 2: They're not studying enough.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Now you have guys. that are doing that.
- 11:20Speaker 2: You're Jameis Winston's who's coming in and replacing a guy
- 11:23Speaker 2: like Jackson Dart. Again, he's a guy that has been there,
- 11:27Speaker 2: done that. He's won at the national championship, at the
- 11:30Speaker 2: collegiate level, won a championship. These guys have what it
- 11:35Speaker 2: takes to make franchises very successful and push them to
- 11:40Speaker 2: winning the Super Bowl.
- 11:41Speaker 1: We're going to come back and talk about Jameis because
- 11:43Speaker 1: he's not doing anything like what he was doing in college.
- 11:46Speaker 3: That's my guy though. He's coming around.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Let's talk about your ill-fated cowboys. Man, anybody sending these cowboys. Man, look, man.
- 11:57Speaker 1: What's wrong with them?
- 11:58Speaker 3: What's right with them?
- 12:00Speaker 1: They got a lot of fans. What's right with them?
- 12:02Speaker 1: They got a lot of merchandise that's being sold. They
- 12:07Speaker 1: still got that star in the middle thing that you
- 12:09Speaker 1: stood on.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the only thing that got going from their merchandise.
- 12:13Speaker 1: They got great nachos.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I don't, I mean....
- 12:20Speaker 2: I picked this game. I picked the Ravens to win,
- 12:23Speaker 2: of course, because that's Bella's. Bella, that is your team.
- 12:28Speaker 2: That's our team.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Let me shout out to a couple of other Ravens fans.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Chris Robinson. Chris Robinson, what's up? Earl Scott. Earl Scott,
- 12:35Speaker 1: I don't know who you guys are. He's a big,
- 12:37Speaker 1: big Raven. These people are from Baltimore. Bella is from
- 12:39Speaker 1: Sherman Oaks. That's all right. I don't even know why
- 12:41Speaker 1: she likes the Baltimore Ravens as much as she does.
- 12:43Speaker 3: She likes the colors. She likes Lamar.
- 12:45Speaker 1: She likes Lamar. She likes Derrick Henry. She likes Zayf.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Flowers?
- 12:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:50Speaker 1: She was so happy to see what he did this week.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Oh, he had a crucial, crucial play.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Only two or three catches.
- 12:57Speaker 3: But it doesn't matter.
- 12:58Speaker 2: It's the one that you need to catch is the
- 13:01Speaker 2: one that matters.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Right.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Down and distance.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I always talk about down and distance when you got
- 13:05Speaker 2: third down and fourth down situations. When you need a
- 13:08Speaker 2: big catch, there's yardage to be made. When you called
- 13:10Speaker 2: upon your numbers to make that play and you put
- 13:13Speaker 2: your team in position to win, honestly, that's just a
- 13:19Speaker 2: good of a feeling is scoring a touchdown.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Honestly, it is.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Because right before they got them in the field goal range.
- 13:24Speaker 1: It's a crucial play. It only makes you feel that way.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Until the kicker kicks that field goal. Maybe they're listening
- 13:35Speaker 2: to the podcast because they are giving– Number 22, Derrick Henry,
- 13:40Speaker 2: the ball, when they should give it to him. Like, again, 22,
- 13:45Speaker 2: what was it, how many, 89 rush yards. I don't
- 13:49Speaker 2: know how many carries, but two touchdowns.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Right. Man. What's more important, the yardage or the touchdowns?
- 13:55Speaker 3: Me, personally, touchdowns.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Because you can have a bunch of catches and a
- 13:59Speaker 2: bunch of yards and no touchdowns and don't win the game.
- 14:02Speaker 1: To win the game, you.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Got to put points on the board.
- 14:04Speaker 2: That's how I think. So I don't mind having two
- 14:08Speaker 2: or three catches or whatever or four catches. But if
- 14:11Speaker 2: I got one or two touchdowns out of the three
- 14:13Speaker 2: or four catches, that's efficient. And you're putting your team
- 14:16Speaker 2: in position to win. So I'm all for it. Like
- 14:19Speaker 2: I said, they must be watching the Get to the
- 14:21Speaker 2: Point podcast. They're giving Derrick Henry the ball. Lamar is
- 14:25Speaker 2: going to do Lamar. And Bella, we're going to be
- 14:28Speaker 2: celebrating every week.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Do quarterbacks have favorites?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:32Speaker 1: No, I don't think they have favorites, but you have
- 14:34Speaker 1: a W. You can't tell me Jerry Rice wasn't his
- 14:36Speaker 1: favorite until he started doing what you did. Right, but
- 14:38Speaker 1: you have a WR1 and you have a WR2. WR1
- 14:41Speaker 1: equals his favorite.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Well, that would be the guy that you feel like
- 14:45Speaker 2: give your, as an offensive weapon, your most talented receiver. So, again,
- 14:51Speaker 2: it's not a favorite. It's like your best option. We
- 14:53Speaker 2: need to get the ball in this guy's hand because
- 14:57Speaker 2: he's very productive. He's going to give us a lot
- 14:59Speaker 2: of production. And we know with his skill set that
- 15:03Speaker 2: once we get the ball in his hands, number one, he.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Knows what he's doing as far as the plays are concerned.
- 15:09Speaker 3: He knows the hot reads.
- 15:11Speaker 2: He's going to make the adjustments when the quarterback and
- 15:13Speaker 2: everybody else sees the adjustments because you can have a
- 15:16Speaker 2: lot of talent and you can be a dummy out there, too.
- 15:18Speaker 2: That ain't going to, that's not going to get you anywhere.
- 15:20Speaker 2: So you got to be smart and you have some,
- 15:22Speaker 2: have some smarts in addition to your skillset. So I'm
- 15:26Speaker 2: not saying that these guys aren't, but when you're, there's
- 15:29Speaker 2: a lot of responsibility to be WR1, WR2. So even
- 15:34Speaker 2: if WR1 is not producing well, going in the quarterback,
- 15:37Speaker 2: going through his reads, again, the coverage may dictate, you know,
- 15:41Speaker 2: he has to go to WR2 or he may have
- 15:43Speaker 2: to go, he may have to go to the tight
- 15:44Speaker 2: end or he may do an RPO.
- 15:46Speaker 3: He has to run the ball. So, Again, you have
- 15:49Speaker 3: your guys that are going.
- 15:50Speaker 2: To stand out with the statistic as it'll look like
- 15:53Speaker 2: they're their favorite, but no. It's an evaluation thing. Coach
- 15:57Speaker 2: is going to put the best players on the football field.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Can that number fluctuate from game to game?
- 16:02Speaker 2: Oh, absolutely. There are games where I know that I
- 16:04Speaker 2: may have a potential to have like 10, 12 targets.
- 16:08Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Out of those 10, 12 targets, I want to be efficient.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I would like to catch all 12. But anywhere from
- 16:14Speaker 2: 8 to 10, you're being efficient with those balls that
- 16:17Speaker 2: are being thrown to you, then that's what you're supposed
- 16:20Speaker 2: to do as the number one receiver.
- 16:22Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying is, This Sunday, you're going
- 16:25Speaker 1: to be WR1. But we know the way Cincinnati plays you,
- 16:30Speaker 1: you're going to have to be WR2.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yeah, there are teams that I knew going into it defensively,
- 16:37Speaker 2: it's going to be hard to score against them or
- 16:39Speaker 2: it's going to be hard to pass against them. Some teams,
- 16:42Speaker 2: they're heavy cover too.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Got you. That means.
- 16:46Speaker 2: They got a safety over top. They know I'm a
- 16:49Speaker 2: threat to go deep. They don't trust their guys to
- 16:52Speaker 2: play me one-on-one.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Especially with smaller DB. Right.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Yeah, smaller DB.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Or they just know the productivity of what I bring
- 17:00Speaker 2: to the game. So they don't want me to get off.
- 17:02Speaker 2: They know I can score them every play. So they're
- 17:06Speaker 2: going to limit that by putting a safety over top.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Or they may play a cover 66 or a cover 55,
- 17:12Speaker 2: whatever the case may be.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I faced it all. Cover two limits.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Offensive firepower for their passing offense.
- 17:21Speaker 1: If they know it's a high-powered passing offense, nine times
- 17:25Speaker 1: out of ten.
- 17:26Speaker 2: They're going to play cover two. And most of the
- 17:28Speaker 2: times when cover two comes, the tight end, that's their
- 17:31Speaker 2: dream because they're going to eat that middle up.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:33Speaker 3: They're going to eat that middle up.
- 17:35Speaker 2: So if I'm a tight end going to the games,
- 17:37Speaker 2: they better be licking their chops because they're going to
- 17:39Speaker 2: have more opportunities to get the ball. Until they stop that, then, hey,
- 17:42Speaker 2: we're just decoys. But then at the same time, we
- 17:45Speaker 2: can't let our guard down because if there's a shot,
- 17:47Speaker 2: a hole shot playing that cover two, we're getting outside
- 17:49Speaker 2: that corner. And if that safety doesn't get over for enough–
- 17:53Speaker 2: That's a hole shot. And that for me, I don't
- 17:55Speaker 2: take that lightly because if I get that ball in
- 17:57Speaker 2: that hole shot, that's a big gain. And even if
- 18:00Speaker 2: I catch it, I can make that safety miss and
- 18:02Speaker 2: make something happen with it. And that's what is lacking
- 18:05Speaker 2: in the Dallas Cowboys offense. You have two dynamic receivers
- 18:08Speaker 2: in CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. Right now, they're just
- 18:11Speaker 2: making plays. They're not game changing. They're not changing the
- 18:14Speaker 2: game by their individual play.
- 18:16Speaker 1: So there's a difference between a playmaker and a game changer.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 18:20Speaker 2: But those guys could possibly be game changers? They could,
- 18:24Speaker 2: but they're not doing that. They're losing too many games
- 18:27Speaker 2: that are really close.
- 18:28Speaker 1: But is that not a Dak thing?
- 18:30Speaker 2: No. Once the ball leaves Dak's hand and he put
- 18:33Speaker 2: it into those playmakers' hand, now they got to change
- 18:36Speaker 2: the game by that play that they just made.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Got you.
- 18:39Speaker 2: That's how I see it. I know a lot of
- 18:40Speaker 2: guys talk about game managers and things of that nature.
- 18:44Speaker 2: I have a thing with receivers. You got your playmakers
- 18:46Speaker 2: and you got your game changers. Playmakers, yeah, they just
- 18:49Speaker 2: make plays. Yeah, you catch a third now and you
- 18:51Speaker 2: just catch it and that's wherever you catch it, that's
- 18:53Speaker 2: where you end up with it.
- 18:54Speaker 1: What you going to do with it after you catch it?
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I was a playmaker and I was a game changer.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Who are your top five game changing receivers of all time?
- 19:02Speaker 2: Number one, T.O. Number two, T.O. Number three, T.O. Number four, T.O.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Number five, Randy Moss.
- 19:12Speaker 1: You are hilarious.
- 19:14Speaker 2: All right.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Time for your Popcorn Power Cinco.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Hell of a week. What? I got to see how
- 19:23Speaker 1: you picked five because there was way more than five
- 19:25Speaker 1: incredible plays this week.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Everybody get your popcorn ready.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Popcorn Power Five.
- 19:33Speaker 3: It's going down today.
- 19:35Speaker 1: What? Let's get it going. Number five.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Number five, Devontae Adams. Seven receptions, 137 yards. This is
- 19:46Speaker 2: all for a short week after he destroyed the Giants. Monday.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Yeah, on Monday.
- 19:51Speaker 2: He had, like, I think eight for 190-something and two touchdowns.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Then you follow that up with seven for 137 and
- 19:58Speaker 1: a dub. Yeah.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Keep balling, Devontae.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Keep balling.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Number four. Number four, we at B. John Robinson, your
- 20:08Speaker 2: Atlanta Falcons. Hey, everybody was kind of on the fence
- 20:11Speaker 2: about the Atlanta Falcons being that Tua wasn't starting. Quarterback
- 20:15Speaker 2: situation is in question. Michael Penn is coming back, playing well,
- 20:19Speaker 2: coming off the ACL injury.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Shh, man.
- 20:23Speaker 2: 29 carries, 194 yards, and two tutties? He's popping off, boy.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Speaking of Atlanta, I'll be at the Atlanta Comedy Theater
- 20:33Speaker 1: October 2nd and 3rd. Number three.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Number three, Aaron Rodgers. He has got out of the
- 20:41Speaker 2: dark room, got out of that dark space. He has
- 20:44Speaker 2: consumed his ayahuasca. He is back on track. This guy
- 20:49Speaker 2: right here, 292 yards.
- 20:51Speaker 1: That's special.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Three touchdowns. I already told people, look, he's not going
- 20:57Speaker 2: to sneak up on anybody. He's going to really just
- 21:00Speaker 2: really introduce who he really is. Two years now removed
- 21:03Speaker 2: from the Achilles injury. Now got Mike McCarthy, his old coach, back.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Maybe a little magic with those two. So don't be
- 21:12Speaker 2: surprised at the end of the year they're in the hunt.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Who knew that mushrooms help with inflammation? Number two.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Number two, Geno Smith.
- 21:21Speaker 2: This is kind of odd for him to be in
- 21:23Speaker 2: the top because usually you win, but hey, Geno Smith
- 21:27Speaker 2: popping off. He popped off this weekend. He popped off
- 21:30Speaker 2: this weekend throwing the ball for 321 yards and three touchdowns.
- 21:36Speaker 2: It's not going to be an every week occurrence that
- 21:39Speaker 2: you lose and you get into my popcorn power five.
- 21:42Speaker 2: But this is definitely noteworthy. It's definitely salt and caramel.
- 21:49Speaker 2: You're sweet and savory. Popcorn worthy.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:53Speaker 3: I say that's salt and savory because he lost.
- 21:57Speaker 1: He lost. Right.
- 21:57Speaker 3: But he popped up.
- 21:58Speaker 1: That L actually prevented him from being number one. Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 1: That.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Yeah. If he would have won. He might be number one.
- 22:04Speaker 2: So who is number one?
- 22:05Speaker 1: We got somebody who popped off this weekend.
- 22:07Speaker 2: This is the second time we've had a defensive player
- 22:11Speaker 2: to be number one.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Right.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Last week it was Devin Lloyd who did some remarkable.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Had a pick. Two picks.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Remarkable stuff. This guy damn near duplicated what he did.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Talanoa Hufunga from the Denver Broncos.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Say his last name. Hufunga. Hufunga. I don't know if
- 22:32Speaker 1: you knew we can't cuss on this show. Yeah.
- 22:35Speaker 3: But, hey, Talanoa, hey, man, I'm going to give you
- 22:38Speaker 3: your flowers, bro. You did your thing.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Two picks. One for a pick six. I mean, a
- 22:44Speaker 2: pick six, it went for 66 yards. When you think
- 22:47Speaker 2: about these linebackers.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Yeah, they'd be lumbering.
- 22:50Speaker 2: So to go 66 yards and you score, I know
- 22:55Speaker 2: he probably had to probably sit out a couple of series.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I knew he was tired after that. But this guy
- 22:59Speaker 2: right here, in addition to that one sack, five tackles,
- 23:04Speaker 2: I think three passes defended, this guy right here had
- 23:07Speaker 2: a hell of a weekend. So, hey, you popped off Talanoa. Hey,
- 23:12Speaker 2: can I get an autographed jersey or something? Because, bro,
- 23:14Speaker 2: you did that thing, man. Hey, keep popping off. Putting
- 23:17Speaker 2: the Broncos on the map, but y'all going to see
- 23:20Speaker 2: those Chiefs come here soon, and I cannot wait for that.
- 23:23Speaker 2: You're going to need that type of performance against the Chiefs. Hey,
- 23:26Speaker 2: but that's your Popcorn Power 5. Get your popcorn ready
- 23:29Speaker 2: right here on Get to the Point. The football season
- 23:32Speaker 2: is heating up, and every week feels bigger with DraftKings.
- 23:35Speaker 2: The DraftKings Sports app is now live in all 50 states.
- 23:39Speaker 2: That means from Texas to California to Florida. Every fan
- 23:42Speaker 2: is in on the excitement. Follow the teams you love,
- 23:45Speaker 2: keep up with the biggest games, and experience the excitement
- 23:48Speaker 2: of football all week long. No matter which game you're watching,
- 23:52Speaker 2: you're always connected with 1L.
- 23:54Speaker 1: All right. We see who popped off, your individual players.
- 23:57Speaker 1: But now let's talk about who's going to pop off
- 23:59Speaker 1: this week in week five. You got Patriots versus the Bills.
- 24:05Speaker 1: The Bills are 3-0. The Patriots are 1-2. Yeah.
- 24:08Speaker 3: After this weekend, the Patriots will be 1-3. Let's go Bills.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Bills Mafia.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Are you just saying that because you got a brand
- 24:15Speaker 1: new helmet?
- 24:16Speaker 2: No, I'm just telling you, man. I just don't see
- 24:19Speaker 2: the Patriots getting on track right now. I'm telling you.
- 24:21Speaker 2: That Vrabel, Diana Rossini, that Vrabel-Rossini scandal, that, I'm telling you,
- 24:28Speaker 2: that laid the foundation for what this season was going
- 24:31Speaker 2: to be about. A complete disaster.
- 24:34Speaker 1: All right, we got Rams-Eagles. The Rams are 1-2. And
- 24:39Speaker 1: the Eagles, because of that poor performance.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Are 2-1.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Who you got?
- 24:43Speaker 2: Fly, Eagles, fly.
- 24:45Speaker 1: That's the little song? Yeah. I thought you were going
- 24:48Speaker 1: to say, fly like an eagle.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Is Stanford under pressure, homie? I don't think there's any pressure.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I think what the offense is capable of doing, especially
- 25:00Speaker 2: with Devontae Adams, Puka Nakua, just that nucleus of offensive firepower–
- 25:10Speaker 2: They had, I think, a decent run game. But when
- 25:14Speaker 2: you think about when Myles Garrett come back.
- 25:17Speaker 1: That was going to be my next question.
- 25:19Speaker 2: When Myles Garrett come back and you get him into
- 25:21Speaker 2: the fold with Aaron Donald and they lock and they
- 25:25Speaker 2: get in continuity, get in sync with that defensive front.
- 25:30Speaker 2: it's going to create more opportunities for the offense. And
- 25:32Speaker 2: when you get an offense that's on the field on
- 25:35Speaker 2: a regular, you start to get your rhythm.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Offensively, the offensive coordinator, they know too.
- 25:40Speaker 2: He has to be on point because he knows the
- 25:44Speaker 2: more that they can be on the field, the sharper
- 25:46Speaker 2: he as an offensive coordinator is going to be able
- 25:49Speaker 2: to call those plays and get a good game plan
- 25:54Speaker 2: by series, by quarter into play to be able to
- 25:57Speaker 2: enable players that offense to really flourish. So there's a
- 26:01Speaker 2: lot of things predicated on what that defensive side of
- 26:04Speaker 2: the ball can do to give them the ball and
- 26:06Speaker 2: more opportunities to score.
- 26:08Speaker 1: How would you rate Aaron Donald in these first two
- 26:10Speaker 1: games of him being back?
- 26:12Speaker 2: I would say he's doing not bad. I'm sure by
- 26:14Speaker 2: his standards, he's not doing great. Once he starts to
- 26:17Speaker 2: find his stride, get a few games under his belt,
- 26:20Speaker 2: get that game feel, he'll start to kind of unload.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I would say....
- 26:26Speaker 2: Give them week four or five, maybe around week five
- 26:29Speaker 2: or six, you're going to start hearing a lot more
- 26:32Speaker 2: of Aaron Donald, number 99, creating some havoc.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Boom. Next game, your favorite team, the Chargers versus the Seahawks.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Seahawks.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Wait, hold on now. Come on now. Just because they're
- 26:45Speaker 1: 0-3 and the Seahawks are 2-1. Don't call it a comeback.
- 26:50Speaker 1: They've been there for years.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and they ain't done nothing in years either.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been kind of rough.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and these are your Super Bowl champions.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I would not like to think that they would go
- 27:05Speaker 2: and play the Chargers and blemish what they've started this year.
- 27:11Speaker 2: And again, I just don't see, honestly, I just don't
- 27:13Speaker 2: understand the Chargers organization, where they are right now. The
- 27:18Speaker 2: only name that's ringing from the Chargers is two names.
- 27:22Speaker 2: It's Jim Harbaugh, the head coach, and Justin Herbert.
- 27:26Speaker 3: That's all anybody really knows about the Chargers.
- 27:29Speaker 1: That's it.
- 27:29Speaker 2: And in L.A., everybody knows the Rams. Nobody really knows
- 27:32Speaker 2: anything about the Chargers. So right now, they're only— Dan, yeah. Yeah,
- 27:39Speaker 2: don't get me touched. Don't get me to talking about Dan. Yeah,
- 27:43Speaker 2: I just honestly.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Dan ain't your age group.
- 27:46Speaker 2: He had a lot to say about me regarding the
- 27:49Speaker 2: Hall of Fame. Oh. A lot.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Fuck Dan Fouts. Yeah, no. And I second that. Is
- 27:56Speaker 1: Justin Herbert under pressure?
- 27:58Speaker 3: I don't know if he's under pressure.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Why not? He's 0-3.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Right, but he doesn't have, I don't think, you see
- 28:05Speaker 2: I'm here, I'm sitting here fumbling to think about who
- 28:08Speaker 2: is he has no help yeah he doesn't have any
- 28:12Speaker 2: help and is that a horrible situation jar what is
- 28:16Speaker 2: horrible gonna suit up he's gonna be the backup quarterback
- 28:19Speaker 2: other than that that's about the only help they gonna
- 28:20Speaker 2: get but hire some people but again i just don't
- 28:23Speaker 2: understand um again this is justin herbert one of those
- 28:26Speaker 2: guys that are you know known for potentially being like
- 28:30Speaker 2: the faces of the league top quarterbacks and you start
- 28:33Speaker 2: out the season oh and three um This may be
- 28:37Speaker 2: a situation like the Miami Dolphins. This may be a
- 28:39Speaker 2: rebuild situation for the Chargers. Right now, it's not looking well.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I don't know if there's pressure. Obviously, you want to win.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I've been in a situation where you have a stretch
- 28:50Speaker 2: of losses and all you need and all you want
- 28:52Speaker 2: in that locker room is some happiness, some joy. It's
- 28:56Speaker 2: not a lot of joy in that locker room right
- 28:59Speaker 2: now because this is only going to get worse because
- 29:01Speaker 2: they're going to start finger pointing. It's going to be
- 29:04Speaker 2: a lot of this, a lot of that. It's going
- 29:05Speaker 2: to be coaches on the hot seat. Everybody's going to
- 29:08Speaker 2: be on pins and needles. So I don't think it's pressure.
- 29:11Speaker 2: They just got to get back to some winning football.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Broncos at 49ers. Now, we need a new kitchen.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Hey, Broncos at 49ers. Oh, man, the way the 49ers
- 29:23Speaker 2: played this past weekend.
- 29:25Speaker 1: 3-0.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Hey, 3-0. And guess who got in the end zone,
- 29:28Speaker 2: who I predicted to get in the end zone again?
- 29:31Speaker 3: Deebo Samuel.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Yes, he did. Did you see the play that they did?
- 29:35Speaker 2: They did like a hook and ladder. They threw to
- 29:38Speaker 2: Mike Evans. Then they flipped the ball. to Deebo. Deebo
- 29:42Speaker 2: went 82 yards down. That was beautiful.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Man, what? Man, let's go.
- 29:46Speaker 3: 49er faithful, I'm riding with you guys. Let's do this.
- 29:51Speaker 3: His wife needs a new kitchen, and it's not going
- 29:53Speaker 3: to get done.
- 29:53Speaker 1: So just say it to that camera right there. If
- 29:57Speaker 1: Denver Broncos— Beat the 49ers. Vanessa, you're gonna get a
- 30:04Speaker 1: new kitchen. From Uncle Tio. What?
- 30:08Speaker 2: Vanessa, if the Broncos beat the 49ers, you get a
- 30:10Speaker 2: new kitchen, and I might even get you some, go
- 30:14Speaker 2: to Victoria's Secret, buy you some lingerie for your hubby.
- 30:18Speaker 1: My wife is bougie. We don't do Victoria's Secret. That's
- 30:21Speaker 1: even better.
- 30:21Speaker 2: You bougie, you don't do Victoria's Secret, so we're going
- 30:25Speaker 2: to get you some anyway.
- 30:26Speaker 1: La Perla or something else. No, La Perla. No, what?
- 30:29Speaker 1: Maybe Underwoods. It's been so long. Okay.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Um....
- 30:34Speaker 1: Okay, so kitchen. We don't need a whole kitchen. Just
- 30:37Speaker 1: a refrigerator and a dishwasher. Oh, yeah. What brands? Well,
- 30:41Speaker 1: we get a brand.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Viking.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Viking, Samsung. Or we got Whirlpool.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Whatever. Chiefs at the Raiders.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Man, I'm going with the Chiefs all day.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Why?
- 30:51Speaker 3: Chiefs are undefeated.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Raiders are undefeated.
- 30:54Speaker 3: So are the Raiders.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 30:55Speaker 3: But I'm going to ride with what I know.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Okay. And what do you know?
- 30:58Speaker 3: I know Andy Reid. I know Andy Reid. I know
- 31:02Speaker 3: the head trainer.
- 31:03Speaker 2: For the Chiefs, who helped me get back to the
- 31:06Speaker 2: Super Bowl, who, guess what, who helped Patrick Mahomes get
- 31:10Speaker 2: back on that field with his ACL injury in record time.
- 31:14Speaker 3: So I'm riding with the Chiefs.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah. It's going to be a good game. And
- 31:18Speaker 2: it's an AFC matchup. It's going to be great for
- 31:20Speaker 2: everybody that's watching. I was on a plane coming back
- 31:23Speaker 2: from Napa Valley. And the pilot, you know, was like, well,
- 31:27Speaker 2: you know, how about those Raiders? How about those Broncos? Man,
- 31:31Speaker 2: the pilot said something about some Broncos. The whole plane, boo.
- 31:35Speaker 2: And the fans, the Raiders.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Raiders.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Yes.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Raiders. Have you ever been to a Raider game, like,
- 31:42Speaker 1: as a fan or as a?
- 31:43Speaker 3: No, not as a fan, no.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Not as a fan, sorry. As a patron. No, no, no.
- 31:48Speaker 3: I mean, I played it.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Some of the rowdiest games. Of course, you saw it
- 31:51Speaker 1: from down there. I'm talking about when you up here
- 31:54Speaker 1: with them.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Nah, I never got to that point.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It's freaking scary.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Really?
- 31:58Speaker 1: You would have never known that Crips and Bloods were
- 32:00Speaker 1: black and silver.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I'm already knowing.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I've seen people get thrown off the balcony anyway. The
- 32:06Speaker 1: black hole.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I don't know if they still got the black hole.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I know they had it at the Oakland Coliseum. The
- 32:12Speaker 2: arena there. I mean, I know they were rowdy. I mean,
- 32:16Speaker 2: they were throwing batteries. They were throwing Cokes. They were
- 32:20Speaker 2: throwing burgers.
- 32:21Speaker 3: All types of stuff.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Bring the battery to throw. Man, I don't know who
- 32:24Speaker 1: Raider fans, man. What y'all doing?
- 32:25Speaker 2: These batteries man bring them to the game man they
- 32:29Speaker 2: man it's crazy those fans are they're i mean they're
- 32:32Speaker 2: diehard they're very passionate they remind me of the philadelphia
- 32:37Speaker 2: eagles fans from a just from a passion standpoint they
- 32:40Speaker 2: love their black and silver.
- 32:41Speaker 1: So you're saying if the raiders win you will pay
- 32:47Speaker 1: my car note for one month.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Chris if the raiders win i'll buy you a new car.
- 32:55Speaker 1: These 3-0 Raiders. Man, I don't care about that.
- 32:58Speaker 3: I told you who I'm riding with.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Okay. And hopefully you'll see me riding in a new Panamera.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Or whatever, the Taekwon, whatever they called it.
- 33:06Speaker 2: I'm going to buy you a new car. I didn't
- 33:07Speaker 2: say what it was. I'm just saying I'll buy you
- 33:09Speaker 2: a new car. I told that to somebody one time.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Fine print.
- 33:12Speaker 2: That's the disclaimer.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Fine print. I told this dude I was going to
- 33:14Speaker 1: get him a Range Rover. He was like, thank you.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I said, it's going to be an 87. Right. I
- 33:18Speaker 1: didn't tell you.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Oh, here we go. The Browns are 2-1. The Steelers
- 33:23Speaker 1: are 2-1. Your boy is balling.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I'm torn on this. We ain't putting no wager on this.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I done bought your house, I done bought your kitchen, underwear,
- 33:34Speaker 2: all types of stuff.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Tuition.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Tuition. This is a toss-up right here. What I do
- 33:41Speaker 2: like about this game is you have two quarterbacks that
- 33:45Speaker 2: have suffered Achilles injuries that are coming back, which is crazy.
- 33:49Speaker 2: And both of them are playing well. Obviously Deshaun Watson
- 33:53Speaker 2: didn't start out so well, But now, like I told
- 33:55Speaker 2: you guys, he's starting to find his rhythm. Obviously, preseason
- 33:59Speaker 2: is one thing. Real game time and just real game
- 34:02Speaker 2: feel is another. Deshaun Watson is 2-1.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I know.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Ayahuasca Rodgers.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Yes, 2-1. 2-1. Pittsburgh Steelers. You know what?
- 34:18Speaker 2: I would really like to know what Mike Tomlin is
- 34:20Speaker 2: thinking right now. because he's just left the Steelers. He's
- 34:25Speaker 2: calling the games right now. Obviously, to be in his seat,
- 34:28Speaker 2: now you see the team. I wonder if he's really
- 34:30Speaker 2: rooting for his team to do well.
- 34:31Speaker 1: He's got to be.
- 34:32Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 34:33Speaker 2: But I say that to say you have Mike McCarthy
- 34:37Speaker 2: reuniting with Aaron Rodgers, same with Aaron Rodgers reuniting with
- 34:41Speaker 2: his former coach. I think there is something to that.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Now they're going to start defying their footing, no pun intended.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:48Speaker 3: No pun intended. You look at the weapons.
- 34:52Speaker 2: One of the guys that I've been waiting to just
- 34:55Speaker 2: really just be a force in DK Metcalf. We haven't
- 34:59Speaker 2: really heard a lot from him the last year and
- 35:01Speaker 2: a half. I've talked, I text DK from time to time.
- 35:05Speaker 2: He needs to be a force. He needs to be imposing.
- 35:08Speaker 2: He needs to be intimidating as he looks in his past.
- 35:10Speaker 2: He needs to go out there. Catch every ball, run
- 35:14Speaker 2: through people, be a playmaker, be a game changer. We
- 35:17Speaker 2: talked about those two dynamics and parts of a receiver's game.
- 35:22Speaker 3: He needs to be both of those. He needs to
- 35:24Speaker 3: be everything to Aaron Rodgers.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Just like Devontae Adams was to Aaron Rodgers when they
- 35:30Speaker 2: were with the Green Bay Packers, that's what DK Metcalf
- 35:32Speaker 2: needs to be to Aaron Rodgers right now with the
- 35:34Speaker 2: Pittsburgh Steelers. This is going to be a good one.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I don't know who's going to win, but I think
- 35:39Speaker 2: it's going to be a great matchup. Obviously, game planning
- 35:41Speaker 2: has a lot to do with it.
- 35:42Speaker 1: I need you to pick one.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Oh, shit. I was trying to avoid it.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I was like.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Okay, let me see. DeVoe, Deshaun Watson, Browns. I'm going
- 35:55Speaker 2: to go Steelers, but I know the Browns need this win. Okay. Okay.
- 35:59Speaker 2: The Browns needs this win, but I'm going to go
- 36:01Speaker 2: with Aaron Rodgers, the Steelers. The Steelers, I think, are
- 36:04Speaker 2: going to squeak it out, but I will say I'm
- 36:07Speaker 2: rooting for Deshaun Watson.
- 36:08Speaker 1: They need this. What is Shador thinking right now?
- 36:11Speaker 2: He's not thinking anything other than just be prepared because
- 36:16Speaker 2: anything can happen.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Just keep yourself prepared.
- 36:18Speaker 2: And I think he knows that, and I think he's
- 36:19Speaker 2: going to do that throughout the course of the season
- 36:21Speaker 2: because anything can happen. As you've seen within the first
- 36:24Speaker 2: three weeks, quarterbacks are dropping like flies. Anything can happen.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Not wishing any injuries on anybody, but anything can happen
- 36:32Speaker 2: on any given Sunday. So I know he's going to
- 36:33Speaker 2: be prepared just in case. One app, every sport, all

- 36:56Speaker 4: We'll be right back. Ferry's by State.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Limited time offer. We don't normally do college football, but
- 37:41Speaker 1: we did last week, so let's touch into it a
- 37:43Speaker 1: little bit this week.
- 37:44Speaker 3: We got to.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Let's talk about this kid, Jaden Ball, who you actually
- 37:49Speaker 1: bragged about a couple of weeks ago.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Trust me, I've been seeing little snippets. Look, let me.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Tell you something. When you've played as.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Much football as I have.
- 38:01Speaker 1: How much have you played?
- 38:02Speaker 3: Just a lot, a lot.
- 38:04Speaker 2: I'm not a coach by any means, and not even
- 38:07Speaker 2: an evaluator of talent. But sometimes you hear guys and
- 38:11Speaker 2: coaches and scouts talk about a guy passing the eye test.
- 38:16Speaker 3: This guy is passing the eye test.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Okay, what is the eye test?
- 38:20Speaker 2: What he's doing on that football field right now in
- 38:23Speaker 2: the first two or three games is nothing short of
- 38:27Speaker 2: Heisman worthy.
- 38:29Speaker 3: And I say that because... It's a little early.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Hey, I say that because I watched a little clip
- 38:35Speaker 2: about the success of the Florida Gators and... It's because
- 38:39Speaker 2: of him.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Did I not? I sent the text.
- 38:43Speaker 2: I said, yo, check out this guy, Jaden Ball, because
- 38:46Speaker 2: he is Jaden Balling.
- 38:49Speaker 3: He is balling.
- 38:50Speaker 1: 142 yards, three touchdowns. And they was playing Ole Miss.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Ole Miss, who just beat LSU in a heated rivalry
- 38:58Speaker 2: the week before.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Man.
- 39:02Speaker 2: And the Florida Gators are 4-0. Let's add that in there.
- 39:06Speaker 2: So that's going to help with his Heisman run. And
- 39:10Speaker 2: he says his dad texts him every week. He wants
- 39:15Speaker 2: that Heisman trophy in the house. He said, bring me
- 39:18Speaker 2: that Heisman trophy. Bring that trophy home. So this is, hey, Jaden,
- 39:23Speaker 2: where my camera here? Jaden, I'm not even a Florida fan,
- 39:27Speaker 2: but I'm a fan of you.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Hey, you might.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Make my popcorn power five, my popcorn power five. You
- 39:33Speaker 2: keep on doing what.
- 39:35Speaker 1: You're doing, boy.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Hey, you might make this popcorn power five because, hey,
- 39:39Speaker 2: what you're doing, hey, you showing up and you showing out.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Keep doing your thing, except for when you play my
- 39:45Speaker 2: roll tide. Yeah, I know your last name is Ball,
- 39:48Speaker 2: so I'm going to add a little play on your
- 39:50Speaker 2: last name.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Jaden, you are Ballin'. Jaden Bao Lin.
- 39:56Speaker 1: You are so clever. All right, that's football for you guys.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Let's come over to my world.
- 40:03Speaker 3: We're switching gears.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Yeah, let's switch gears into a different world. We're switching gears.
- 40:07Speaker 1: We're changing hats. Yes.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Changing lenses.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Have you seen this different world reboot?
- 40:12Speaker 3: I just started watching it last night.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 40:16Speaker 1: It's the number one show on Netflix.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Yes.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Well, I mean, everything's number one when it's new and
- 40:23Speaker 1: everybody's gravitating. Not necessarily.
- 40:26Speaker 3: I mean, I watched a different world when I was
- 40:28Speaker 3: growing up.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Whitley, who was Jasmine Guy, watched Kadeem Hardison.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 40:33Speaker 1: The flip-up glasses. Everybody wanted them. Everybody had the fade. Yes.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Man.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Chris Summers, Daryl Bell.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 40:42Speaker 3: The collegiate look, you know, preppy.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I mean, I think that's where I kind of got like, yo,
- 40:47Speaker 2: I want to dress like these guys.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Everybody did. Listen, they also showed the rest of the
- 40:51Speaker 1: world what HBCU life is like.
- 40:54Speaker 3: And I didn't even know. Honestly, I didn't even know
- 40:56Speaker 3: what that was.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Me either.
- 40:58Speaker 3: I didn't know what, yeah, I didn't know what HBCU.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Listen, I have on this Howard sweater because I... I
- 41:03Speaker 1: spend a lot of money every year paying for these
- 41:05Speaker 1: damn kids to go to school. Except for these next
- 41:07Speaker 1: two months.
- 41:08Speaker 3: But growing up, I didn't know what HBCU.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Me either. So I had a friend, Angie Holliman, when
- 41:12Speaker 1: I was in college, in high school, said she was
- 41:14Speaker 1: going to Howard. I was like, oh, you didn't get
- 41:16Speaker 1: into anything else. I didn't realize how prestigious Howard University is.
- 41:20Speaker 1: And so my other one's Prairie View. My daughter goes
- 41:24Speaker 1: to Prairie View. Shout out to my daughter, Kylie. Hey, Kylie.
- 41:28Speaker 2: PV.
- 41:28Speaker 1: PV. You know. Of course, Morehouse Spellman. Those are some
- 41:33Speaker 1: of the bigger ones. Yes, some other ones, yes. What
- 41:34Speaker 1: did Kevon Sage used to say? Fun fact.
- 41:37Speaker 3: Fun fact, y'all.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Yes, fun fact. From 1987 to 1993, a different world
- 41:43Speaker 1: drove college enrollment into HBCUs by 26%.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Boy, you see what we be doing as black people, boy?
- 41:52Speaker 2: We be pushing the envelope.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Just from that show.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Bro, that's crazy.
- 41:57Speaker 1: And think about The culture of fashion. We all started
- 42:01Speaker 1: wearing these shirts with colors. That's when cross colors was hot. Right, right.
- 42:05Speaker 2: FUBU.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Yeah. But seeing these college t-shirts with these historic colleges
- 42:10Speaker 1: on it.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Yes.
- 42:11Speaker 1: I remember I had one. You did?
- 42:13Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 42:14Speaker 1: You didn't? I just always looked and admired from afar.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 42:18Speaker 1: I went to Howard Homecoming in 1988. Oh, wow. And
- 42:23Speaker 1: it probably was because of A Different World. And let
- 42:24Speaker 1: me tell you something right now. It was incredible. I
- 42:28Speaker 1: had never seen that many good looking people.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Black women.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Just say black people. Black women. It's so incredible. Listen,
- 42:36Speaker 1: if I wasn't a junior in college, I would have
- 42:40Speaker 1: called home and told my sister, put your mom on
- 42:42Speaker 1: the phone. It's insane. every color, shape, size, not only just,
- 42:49Speaker 1: you know, black people from the United States, the Caribbean, Africa.
- 42:54Speaker 1: It was, it was insane.
- 42:55Speaker 2: So actually I heard Jalen Ramsey. Uh, I think he
- 42:58Speaker 2: did a little snippet, um, on Dion's. He was on
- 43:01Speaker 2: campus talking to the kids and he was talking about
- 43:04Speaker 2: HBCUs and he know now the historic, um, Everything about
- 43:09Speaker 2: the history and the historic impact of now these HBCUs,
- 43:13Speaker 2: he's like, yo, if he could do it all over again,
- 43:16Speaker 2: he would go to a HBCU school.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I love UCLA, but... There's this negative connotation that they
- 43:24Speaker 1: kind of put out there that if you go to
- 43:25Speaker 1: a black school, then you're going to end up only
- 43:28Speaker 1: working with your people.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Some of the smartest people have gone to... Most doctors
- 43:34Speaker 2: have gone to HBCU.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Come from HBCU.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Right, right. And my daughter goes to HBCU school, going
- 43:40Speaker 3: to Prairie View.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Both of our kids. And again, I didn't really know
- 43:43Speaker 1: much about that.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Obviously, Alabama... Is that Alabama State? Alabama State. I've been
- 43:48Speaker 3: down there.
- 43:48Speaker 2: But... Yeah, just to be there and be on campus
- 43:53Speaker 2: and support her, that institution. And I went to I
- 43:58Speaker 2: went to their homecoming last year. It was unbelievable. I'm
- 44:02Speaker 2: talking about when you talk about tailgating the band, bro.
- 44:08Speaker 1: The cheerleaders. Just the energy. And then to see the
- 44:11Speaker 1: old alumni. You see these 85, 90-year-old black people coming together.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Black excellence. Black excellence.
- 44:17Speaker 1: At its finest.
- 44:19Speaker 2: At its finest.
- 44:19Speaker 1: And that's because of A Different World. So this reboot
- 44:22Speaker 1: is doing exceptionally well. I was glad to see my little...
- 44:28Speaker 1: I can't call her my niece because I ain't seen
- 44:30Speaker 1: her in so long but Elijah Tashina Arnold's daughter is
- 44:33Speaker 1: one of the stars of the show Tashina's also on
- 44:36Speaker 1: it and I wasn't sure if that was Elijah until
- 44:38Speaker 1: I heard her talk and she sounds just like you
- 44:40Speaker 1: Tashina but everybody you've seen from the original cast is
- 44:45Speaker 1: in it Wow.
- 44:46Speaker 2: They don't look the same. They must be aging.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Please edit that out.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Everybody must be up there in age. Yeah, they might age. Yeah.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Man, because, I mean, they were so youthful and spry.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Yes. Just, yeah, I mean, just beautiful. Yeah, who was
- 45:06Speaker 2: Dwayne and Whitley's daughter? What's her name?
- 45:09Speaker 3: Deborah Wayne?
- 45:10Speaker 1: Deborah.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Deborah.
- 45:11Speaker 1: That's the name she's going with.
- 45:13Speaker 3: On the show.
- 45:13Speaker 1: That's her name on the show, Deborah.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Deborah.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Yes.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Quite a character.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Great actress.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Yeah, quite a character.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Matter of fact, the entire cast, they did an incredible
- 45:22Speaker 1: job casting this show.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 1: And the only thing I'm missing from the original Different World-
- 45:28Speaker 1: What's that? Is- This show is a bit more dramatic
- 45:32Speaker 1: than the show is. We had a lot more humor
- 45:34Speaker 1: with Whitley and Kadeem.
- 45:37Speaker 2: That's how black.
- 45:38Speaker 1: People do it. We say the character's name and then
- 45:40Speaker 1: we also say the real name. Dwayne Wayne. So I'm
- 45:44Speaker 1: missing the humor. The humor from Chris Summers. My girl
- 45:50Speaker 1: AJ Sanders was on there. Man, you know, Jada was
- 45:54Speaker 1: on there. I just remember my roommate in college, Sully McCullough.
- 45:59Speaker 1: She's on there. No, he, you know, Sully, my boy Sully,
- 46:02Speaker 1: Jamie Foxx show with me and in the wheelchair. Don't
- 46:05Speaker 1: be a menace. He worked in the kitchen with Mr. Gaines.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Rest in peace. Oh, so everybody was.
- 46:10Speaker 2: On the show. Mr.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Gaines, yeah, I remember him, yeah. Older guy. I was
- 46:14Speaker 1: so jealous he would go to work every day. Oh, man.
- 46:16Speaker 3: You favor Mr.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Gaines a little bit. You could be his nephew, his aunt.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I was his stand-in. I didn't get to that part.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I was his stand-in on the show. No, not for real.
- 46:22Speaker 3: I mean, you could have definitely done that.
- 46:24Speaker 2: You could have definitely done that.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Disrespect. Let's stay in this little TV world. New York
- 46:30Speaker 1: Times came out with the 100 best TV shows. Okay, okay.
- 46:34Speaker 1: This one, you hear people say it all the time,
- 46:37Speaker 1: between these two being interchangeable. Breaking Bad and The Wire
- 46:41Speaker 1: Breaking Bad at number one and The Wire at number.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Two I have not seen Breaking Bad is that bad
- 46:45Speaker 2: really no I've heard about The Wire I've seen some
- 46:49Speaker 2: of The Wire I just haven't I don't really get
- 46:51Speaker 2: into those shows I think When those shows were very
- 46:53Speaker 2: popular and they were being aired, I was.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Busy doing something.
- 46:57Speaker 1: I think I was training, I was working, I was
- 46:59Speaker 1: doing something.
- 47:00Speaker 2: At night?
- 47:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:01Speaker 3: You know me, I'm a workaholic.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Okay. Work outaholic.
- 47:03Speaker 1: You were watching something, just not these shows.
- 47:06Speaker 3: Not those shows.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Here's something that's disappointing. They had Ken Peele, which is
- 47:09Speaker 1: a phenomenal show, at 29. But then they had Dave
- 47:14Speaker 1: Chappelle at 58. Who did that? Somebody who works for
- 47:18Speaker 1: Key & Peele. Bro, that's got to be crazy. You
- 47:23Speaker 1: can't do that. That's blasphemy. Yes. Listen, don't get me wrong.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Key & Peele is incredible.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Yeah, but they're not that incredible over the Chappelle show.
- 47:32Speaker 1: And not 29 levels above the Dave Chappelle show.
- 47:36Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Even if you hate Dave Chappelle, you know that the
- 47:40Speaker 1: Chappelle show should be ranked a bit higher.
- 47:42Speaker 2: What?
- 47:42Speaker 1: And then they didn't have Real Husbands of Hollywood on there.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Oh, well, we know why that's not.
- 47:49Speaker 1: I can hear you.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Huh?
- 47:50Speaker 1: Holy shit. Shit, that's why I wanted Deshaun Jackson to
- 47:56Speaker 1: be sitting right here.
- 47:57Speaker 2: All right.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Here's some that didn't make the list. The Bulldogs didn't
- 48:01Speaker 1: make the list. Everybody Hates Chris didn't make the list.
- 48:05Speaker 3: You know why?
- 48:05Speaker 1: Why? Because everybody hates Chris. Especially T.O.
- 48:09Speaker 2: No, I'm not a hater, bro.
- 48:10Speaker 3: No, that's one thing I'm not.
- 48:11Speaker 1: I'm not a hater. Okay.
- 48:13Speaker 3: I'm a realist.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Okay.
- 48:14Speaker 2: But I'm not a hater. Okay.
- 48:16Speaker 3: And that could be a fine line between them.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Then it should be called Some People Hate Chris. Okay. Yes.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Yes.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Girlfriends didn't make the list. Power didn't make the list.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Empire didn't make the list. Everybody hating on Chris. Speaking
- 48:29Speaker 1: of which brings me to my next new segment. I
- 48:32Speaker 1: changed the name.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Yeah, we got a new segment. Man, this is like
- 48:35Speaker 2: your second or third time changing this segment. I've been
- 48:37Speaker 2: playing with the name. We had Chris Cross.
- 48:39Speaker 3: One of these names is going to stick.
- 48:41Speaker 1: My wife told me I'm too old to be talking
- 48:42Speaker 1: about Chris Cross. That's not my age group.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 48:45Speaker 1: So I'm going to go with something that's already kind
- 48:46Speaker 1: of branded for me. It's something that I do online
- 48:51Speaker 1: and it's gotten me thousands and thousands of followers. At
- 48:56Speaker 1: least thousands and thousands of likes. It's Chris's Two Cents,
- 48:59Speaker 1: which you've seen before. I mean, that sounds pretty good.
- 49:03Speaker 1: I like the ring of that. Yeah, Chris's Two Cents.
- 49:06Speaker 2: That could be a headliner for a show. Chris's Two Cents.
- 49:09Speaker 2: See what I'm talking about? it's kind of good this
- 49:13Speaker 2: boy good I'm telling you Chris is too sick so
- 49:15Speaker 2: let me tell you my Chris is two cents.
- 49:17Speaker 1: First of all- Next flick special. Let me- Write that down, Brendan.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Next flick special, Chris is two cents. Well, come on now.
- 49:24Speaker 1: So here's my Chris is two cents, okay? I have
- 49:28Speaker 1: a friend who just passed away from prostate cancer.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Ooh.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Right?
- 49:31Speaker 2: That's big.
- 49:32Speaker 1: So that's sad. Yeah.
- 49:35Speaker 2: But yeah, we all, as we get older, should go
- 49:38Speaker 2: get tested for- Prostate cancer.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I do that.
- 49:41Speaker 2: It's like an annual checkup when you get into your... 50.
- 49:45Speaker 2: 40s and 50s.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Well, yeah. Usually 50 is around the first time you
- 49:48Speaker 1: should do it. I heard. 48, 50, around there.
- 49:50Speaker 2: Right. And it's kind of like, yeah, when I heard
- 49:53Speaker 2: that you got to go get your prostate checked, it's
- 49:56Speaker 2: always that uncomfortable thing that.
- 49:58Speaker 3: You have to do. You know, you go to the
- 50:00Speaker 3: doctor and they have to, you know.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Insert.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Yeah, insert, yes.
- 50:04Speaker 1: So my call out is to, especially black men, of
- 50:09Speaker 1: that age is to go get your prostate checked go
- 50:11Speaker 1: get checked you guys gotta go get your prostate checked
- 50:14Speaker 1: because it's very rampant in our community.
- 50:18Speaker 2: In the black community in the black community yes.
- 50:21Speaker 1: I've done it I'm 58 now so that means it's
- 50:26Speaker 1: usually every other year so I've gone like four times
- 50:29Speaker 1: okay First time I went, and I talk about this
- 50:31Speaker 1: in my special, which is called Go to Jason on Hulu,
- 50:33Speaker 1: and I'm only bringing it up because of what happened
- 50:35Speaker 1: to my friend, and I probably shouldn't be funny in
- 50:37Speaker 1: this instant, but because I spoke to his wife, and
- 50:40Speaker 1: he never went, right? And I think it's because it's uncomfortable, right?
- 50:45Speaker 3: Literally and figuratively, probably.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Yes, because the first time I went, it was quick.
- 50:49Speaker 1: It was boop, boop. Second time I went, it was boop, boop.
- 50:51Speaker 1: The last time, homeboy was in my ass a little
- 50:54Speaker 1: too long. I was like... So I'm bent over, I'm like,
- 51:00Speaker 1: 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 20 seconds, I'm like, what are
- 51:06Speaker 1: we looking for exactly? You know what he said to me? Shh,
- 51:11Speaker 1: I said, did you shush me? And why is Luther
- 51:14Speaker 1: Vandross playing? This ain't no date, homie, you're supposed to
- 51:17Speaker 1: be making sure that I'm healthy. So please, not just
- 51:23Speaker 1: black men, but all men.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Over 50.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Over 50. You could go every two years, find somebody
- 51:29Speaker 1: that you can trust. But here's what's even worse. Okay.
- 51:35Speaker 1: This is what's fucked up. Do you know you don't
- 51:38Speaker 1: have to do the finger anymore? Really? That's what I'm
- 51:42Speaker 1: trying to find. Find the right doctor and find out, say, before, sir,
- 51:47Speaker 1: before you finger bang me, Chris, do you get to
- 51:52Speaker 1: the point? I'm sorry. Before you, I can tell he
- 51:55Speaker 1: ain't been yet. Before you do whatever you're about to
- 51:58Speaker 1: do to me, I heard you. I don't have to
- 52:00Speaker 1: do this no more. He's probably going to go, oh,
- 52:04Speaker 1: you got me. So listen, in all seriousness, there's two
- 52:08Speaker 1: different types of ways to get this tested. One is
- 52:10Speaker 1: the old school way. And then the new way, which
- 52:13Speaker 1: your doctor should tell you, is the prostate antigen test
- 52:16Speaker 1: where they actually just check your blood. So find out
- 52:20Speaker 1: what your doctor's up to. And if he's still doing them,
- 52:22Speaker 1: find a new doctor. And ladies and gentlemen, that's Chris's
- 52:26Speaker 1: two cents. What do you think?
- 52:28Speaker 2: I like it.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Good.
- 52:29Speaker 2: I like it.
- 52:30Speaker 1: What I want you to watch so we can talk
- 52:31Speaker 1: about it next week.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Is this documentary on Deshaun Jackson.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Yes, my guy.
- 52:38Speaker 1: Oh, it's phenomenal. Really? His brother has footage of him
- 52:44Speaker 1: since he was a fetus up until 37, 38 years
- 52:47Speaker 1: old he is right now. Dang. There was always a
- 52:50Speaker 1: camera on him since he was a kid. And you
- 52:52Speaker 1: could see how remarkable he was as an 11-year-old football player. Man.
- 52:58Speaker 2: I know, I actually worked out with Deshaun probably four
- 53:01Speaker 2: or five years ago. We both were training um you
- 53:04Speaker 2: know obviously trying to see if we can get a
- 53:06Speaker 2: shot um get back on back on the team to
- 53:09Speaker 2: help a team um again met his brother um again
- 53:14Speaker 2: i wanted to be at the premiere i was traveling
- 53:17Speaker 2: um but yeah deshaun jackson obviously being from la uh
- 53:22Speaker 2: long beach yeah.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Um just to be um just a kid to come
- 53:28Speaker 3: out of here.
- 53:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:29Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 53:30Speaker 2: That's huge.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Especially when you see his upbringing. Right, right.
- 53:34Speaker 3: To be exposed to like.
- 53:35Speaker 1: He was an element. Yeah, to be... Honestly, to be real, to.
- 53:38Speaker 2: Be exposed to like gangs, gun violence, drugs, all these
- 53:44Speaker 2: type of things and for him to make it out
- 53:46Speaker 2: and then be a steward for these kids. Absolutely.
- 53:50Speaker 3: Be a role model.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Yes.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Make an impact and he's continuing to do that.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Obviously, we know about his football career. And now look
- 53:57Speaker 2: what he's doing. He's coaching at Delaware. I think it's
- 53:59Speaker 2: Delaware State.
- 54:01Speaker 3: HBCU.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Again, continuing on to really show those kids, like, look,
- 54:06Speaker 2: I came from here, and look where I am now.
- 54:08Speaker 2: I'm coaching. Not only just coaching, I'm a head coach.
- 54:12Speaker 1: That's incredible.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Like, that says a lot in itself because you think
- 54:16Speaker 2: a lot of kids in that community growing up in
- 54:19Speaker 2: those type of environments, they don't think that they could
- 54:21Speaker 2: be a head coach.
- 54:23Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 54:23Speaker 2: Let alone a coach in general, but a head coach.
- 54:26Speaker 2: And Deshaun Jackson, you're doing an amazing job, man. Keep
- 54:29Speaker 2: doing what you're doing. I'm going to be coming to
- 54:31Speaker 2: the sidelines here pretty soon. I know you've asked and
- 54:34Speaker 2: you've reached out to me to come out there and
- 54:35Speaker 2: talk to the guys.
- 54:37Speaker 3: I'm going to be there.
