- 0:34Speaker 5: Oh it's bright and early today. I feel extra tired,
- 0:36Speaker 5: Candace will several years game.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I am so tired. Uh yeah, you know. We have
- 0:41Speaker 2: family in town all week, so two young kids, my
- 0:44Speaker 2: brother in law and his wife. So we went took
- 0:47Speaker 2: the kids to the Promer Museum yesterday. I'm gonna have
- 0:49Speaker 2: a hard time time.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Where's that at? We took the kids to this Where's
- 0:53Speaker 5: the Parent Museum.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Pro Museum yesterday, which, by the way, one of the
- 0:58Speaker 2: best museums I've ever been to. Like it's so good.
- 1:02Speaker 2: We had such a good time, and then we went
- 1:03Speaker 2: out for pizza afterward. I won't say where. We went,
- 1:07Speaker 2: delicious pizza restaurant. We were the only ones in the restaurant.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Because by the time we went all the way through
- 1:11Speaker 2: the Perrot Museum, you know, it was like way after lunchtime.
- 1:15Speaker 2: So we were in between and we were finishing up
- 1:17Speaker 2: lunch and this guy comes in by himself to get
- 1:20Speaker 2: a table, and they tried to see him, you know,
- 1:23Speaker 2: in the same general area as us, and he straight
- 1:26Speaker 2: up in front of us said, can you move me
- 1:28Speaker 2: away from the kids. We were all just like, oh
- 1:32Speaker 2: my gosh, like we're leaving, like we're literally paying out
- 1:35Speaker 2: right now. So they proceed to take care, i know,
- 1:38Speaker 2: around the corner. And when we leave, he's got his
- 1:41Speaker 2: shoes off at the table, and I was just like,
- 1:44Speaker 2: what kind of scene am I in right now?
- 1:46Speaker 5: What is happening where somebody who's taking their shoes off
- 1:49Speaker 5: while they eat in a restaurant.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yes, it was the first time I had ever seen
- 1:53Speaker 2: anything like that before, but it just made me laugh.
- 1:55Speaker 2: You know, he wanted to be away from the kids,
- 1:57Speaker 2: and then he took his shoes off. He's not mentally
- 1:59Speaker 2: stayed kids have their shoes on.
- 2:02Speaker 5: I understand why people do that in public. I've seen
- 2:05Speaker 5: people do that multiple places on planes. Yeah, I've seen
- 2:08Speaker 5: it happen at where was I one I think it
- 2:10Speaker 5: was like I forget where I was, but it was
- 2:12Speaker 5: the grossest situation I've seen it at a restaurant before.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Yeah, oh it was like some bar I was at.
- 2:18Speaker 5: Oh okay, it was like at a bar in the
- 2:21Speaker 5: in the airport. Why do people feel so comfortable in.
- 2:23Speaker 1: The airport, right?
- 2:24Speaker 2: I mean, who knows, like, you know, time changes and
- 2:27Speaker 2: things like that. Who knows how long you've been flying?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Because I don't care.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Sometimes people have a layover from another country, they've like
- 2:33Speaker 2: been in a different day. No, they don't know.
- 2:35Speaker 5: What's if you want to lay down where the seats are,
- 2:37Speaker 5: I don't care. Do you think did you see now
- 2:39Speaker 5: that they're allowing people to hang hammocks in the airport?
- 2:42Speaker 2: Excuse me?
- 2:43Speaker 6: Yes?
- 2:44Speaker 5: No, you know those hammos you put up in twee
- 2:46Speaker 5: you know, like two trees, the traveling hammocks. Yeah, the
- 2:49Speaker 5: ones that are in like the little little sack thing right,
- 2:51Speaker 5: you just pop up quickly.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Now they're saying it's yeah, you could do it in
- 2:55Speaker 1: the airport.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Really, bring your own bed.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Yeah, just byo b wow, uh, just bring your smart
- 3:01Speaker 5: it's smart, but come on, obnoxious, A bunch of.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Hammocks in the airport. They should just have a hammock lounge,
- 3:07Speaker 2: you know.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Or just had these sleep pods that they have another airport.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I would pay so much for a sleep pod right now.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Have you ever used one?
- 3:14Speaker 7: No?
- 3:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I did want. I think it was O'Hare for
- 3:17Speaker 5: some airport where they had one. They were doing they
- 3:19Speaker 5: were testing one. Yeah, and you just get in there
- 3:22Speaker 5: and it's it's like smells clean, really yeah, And you
- 3:25Speaker 5: get in there and you can rent it for like an.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Hour, and well, the problem is I'm a little claustaphobic.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, sostphobic.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Yeah, did I say that wrong?
- 3:35Speaker 2: Kind of It's fine. It's what is it that we
- 3:37Speaker 2: can say everything wrong at six?
- 3:39Speaker 1: What is it if it's not claustaphobic? I don't know, Clouster,
- 3:43Speaker 1: tell me I said it wrong, and you don't know.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I think it's claustrophobic.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I said something wrong, but you don't know how to
- 3:49Speaker 1: say it.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Claustrophobic. Yeah, yeah, I just had to think about it.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Claustrophobic.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I thought you say claus appropriated claustrophobic.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Claustophobic.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Yeah, claustrophobic.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I know?
- 4:05Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, exactly, something like that. Well, well, I thought
- 4:10Speaker 5: you went to the stockyard yesterday.
- 4:12Speaker 2: No, that was Monday.
- 4:13Speaker 1: What is going on with you?
- 4:14Speaker 2: I know, Well, they're in town for vacation. We got
- 4:16Speaker 2: to show them the town and then do things. I
- 4:18Speaker 2: want to hang out. I just wish I was on
- 4:20Speaker 2: vacation with them.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I'm exhausted hearing about it.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm exhausted.
- 4:24Speaker 1: So what's today?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Today? We're taking them to the Rangers game because they're
- 4:27Speaker 2: in town from San Francisco. The San Francisco Giants are
- 4:30Speaker 2: playing the Rangers.
- 4:31Speaker 5: I don't care if it's the World Series. I need
- 4:33Speaker 5: a day to chill. I need a dated chill at
- 4:36Speaker 5: that pot lord. All right, well, good luck with that
- 4:40Speaker 5: Cana slow pass to keep my shoes on during the
- 4:44Speaker 5: show today.
- 4:44Speaker 6: Okay, fair, all right, Producer po is here, what's up man?
- 4:47Speaker 6: Yesterday I was at my aunt's house. We're trying to
- 4:50Speaker 6: clean it up because she's in Norway and I wanted
- 4:53Speaker 6: to fix up her house.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yeah, my aunt Terry, she's in.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Nice, Yeah, looking for Holland everybody's going to Norway.
- 5:02Speaker 6: And we were over there cleaning stuff and I saw this,
- 5:04Speaker 6: this picture of this naked little boy, and I'm like
- 5:08Speaker 6: I've seen it, you know, growing up and everything. And
- 5:10Speaker 6: finally I asked my other hand. I was like, who
- 5:13Speaker 6: is that kid? And she goes child as you it's
- 5:15Speaker 6: a picture of me on the beach, but naked. I'm like,
- 5:19Speaker 6: why did my parents.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Do me like I was hanging in the house. It's
- 5:24Speaker 1: in a frame. Yeah, I was.
- 5:26Speaker 6: We were on a family trip in Florida, and I
- 5:28Speaker 6: was like, why would my mama do me like that?
- 5:31Speaker 1: And that was how old were you? Because sometimes people
- 5:33Speaker 1: be like, oh, I was just a little boy, but
- 5:34Speaker 1: they're like ten.
- 5:35Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I was like, I think she said I was five
- 5:38Speaker 1: or six.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I was like, I hopefully was from behind.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah, let him answer that. What do you mean when
- 5:46Speaker 1: you were naked? I was naked on the beach. I
- 5:48Speaker 1: was like, I understand, but how were you facing the camera?
- 5:51Speaker 1: What were you doing?
- 5:52Speaker 7: No?
- 5:52Speaker 6: I was just like I was like facing the ocean
- 5:54Speaker 6: or whatever. Look and you see my dad in the distance.
- 5:58Speaker 6: But I was like, why am I there? And I
- 6:01Speaker 6: saw other kids. You see other kids on the beach,
- 6:03Speaker 6: but they had me naked.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Well that explains what aren't you the one on the
- 6:06Speaker 2: show that likes to be.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that does make sense.
- 6:11Speaker 2: It started when you were little.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm gonna ask this question. I'm going
- 6:15Speaker 1: to okay, go ahead.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Since you love being naked so much, do you go
- 6:19Speaker 5: home and the first thing you do is.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Just get naked? No?
- 6:22Speaker 2: No, no, I don't that's good.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Excuse me.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Women take off their braw we get home.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Do you take their bra when you get one?
- 6:32Speaker 2: That's the best?
- 6:33Speaker 1: All right, I do want.
- 6:35Speaker 5: I'm wondering what the guy equivalent to taking your bra
- 6:38Speaker 5: when you get home is.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 6:40Speaker 5: I don't know because I keep my clothes on pretty
- 6:42Speaker 5: much at all times. No, no, I don't know what
- 6:44Speaker 5: it would be.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Take take your hat off?
- 6:46Speaker 5: I think tidy whities, Yeah, take off your if you
- 6:50Speaker 5: take off your tighty whities.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I gotta wearing poodas. No, I got box of breathes.
- 6:57Speaker 1: He's naked on the beach. Actually he's naked right now.
- 7:00Speaker 2: If you stood up, I'm pastophobe called this up.
- 7:05Speaker 4: These tests cost stories on the Tents with Billy Leykid
- 7:08Speaker 4: in the.
- 7:08Speaker 7: Morning only on the new mix one O two point nine.
- 7:11Speaker 1: We're chanted.
- 7:12Speaker 5: A Disneyland trip coming up next. If you want to
- 7:14Speaker 5: win that, make sure you listen candae.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Slow pest. What is going on?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Well, Waimo is now officially taking riders and it's fully
- 7:19Speaker 2: autonomous cars in Dallas, so I guess they had a
- 7:23Speaker 2: wait list up until yesterday. Right now, rides are limited
- 7:27Speaker 2: to local city streets within the Dallas service Area, so
- 7:30Speaker 2: you can't take it to the airport or on the
- 7:31Speaker 2: highways just yet. They are though testing operations at love
- 7:35Speaker 2: Field and some local freeways, but the exact launch date
- 7:39Speaker 2: for those rides hasn't been announced just yet. But they
- 7:41Speaker 2: did take nearly one hundred and fifty thousand people during
- 7:45Speaker 2: the invite only phase. So if you've been hoping to
- 7:48Speaker 2: ride in one of those waymos, today's your day.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I thought they were already here, Well they are.
- 7:52Speaker 2: They were testing them and then they had this wait
- 7:54Speaker 2: list where if you got invited you could try it out.
- 7:57Speaker 2: But now it's open on the app to anybody who wants.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I heard from a friend.
- 8:01Speaker 5: You know those little like goat cart things, the electric
- 8:03Speaker 5: goat carts that they have that are you know, they
- 8:06Speaker 5: drive themselves in Vegas.
- 8:07Speaker 2: No cars.
- 8:08Speaker 5: They're wild looking, they're not go carts, but they're small.
- 8:11Speaker 5: They're not like a real car. It's just like a
- 8:12Speaker 5: box with wheels.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Yes, we're the like four seats that face each other.
- 8:15Speaker 5: Yes, Yeah, I heard there's a rumor going around that
- 8:18Speaker 5: that company might come here too. Really, and I'm like,
- 8:21Speaker 5: think about this. We'll have self driving teslas that are
- 8:23Speaker 5: taking people every old things like the gold cabs. Then
- 8:27Speaker 5: you'll have the you know, waymos. And then if we
- 8:29Speaker 5: have these little carts rolling around downtown weird, what would
- 8:33Speaker 5: you rather have? Yeah, you rather have a bunch of
- 8:35Speaker 5: people or a bunch of robot cars?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I don't quite trust those robot cars.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Just but like if I'm in Vegas just rolling down
- 8:41Speaker 2: the strip, I'm down to getting a box where we're
- 8:43Speaker 2: four like facing each other doing our thing. Yeah, that
- 8:46Speaker 2: sounds fun, Like are down like Main Street or deep
- 8:49Speaker 2: Ellam or something like that, but not all over town.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I think I'm down to take a WAYMO as long
- 8:53Speaker 1: as it doesn't take me on the highway.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Okay, I think that's my deal. I guess so. But
- 8:57Speaker 2: then you saw that one that like didn't know the
- 9:00Speaker 2: arrow or whatever and just went through the intersection of
- 9:03Speaker 2: like just a side street.
- 9:04Speaker 5: So low key, I'm kind of hoping that happens to
- 9:06Speaker 5: me because I will sue them.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I hope they drive me to a pond, Billy Mo.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly, guys. Richardson ISD just announced a new
- 9:17Speaker 2: screen time policy in schools, so there will also be
- 9:20Speaker 2: no more screen time rewards for good behavior or during recess.
- 9:25Speaker 2: This is good. I think a lot of us parents
- 9:28Speaker 2: with younger kids are like, okay with all these screen
- 9:31Speaker 2: time changes. So the new limit for pre k and
- 9:34Speaker 2: kinder is ten to fifteen minutes in a single session,
- 9:37Speaker 2: and then for first through fourth graders they can be
- 9:40Speaker 2: on the school issued screens for fifteen to twenty minute sessions,
- 9:44Speaker 2: but in chunks. So for elementary it's anywhere from fifteen
- 9:47Speaker 2: to thirty minutes, okay an hour, No like all day,
- 9:52Speaker 2: and spread up in chunks. So for you know, seven
- 9:56Speaker 2: through twelfth graders, they'll get fifteen to twenty minutes per
- 9:58Speaker 2: class period.
- 10:00Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 10:00Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean fifteen minutes every.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Class, right, because how long are classes these days? Like
- 10:06Speaker 2: fifty minutes?
- 10:07Speaker 1: Yeah, at least forty? Yeah, what do we mean?
- 10:10Speaker 2: I still think that's kind of a lot to me.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Still think that's a lot. Plus you're giving them chromebooks
- 10:14Speaker 5: and they got to work on them.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Yeah, what are we doing? I just don't know. We're
- 10:17Speaker 1: relying on screens, but then we're saying no screens.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well we need to stop relying on them so
- 10:21Speaker 2: much like the research is clear on attention spans and
- 10:24Speaker 2: emotional issues and all these things, like can we just
- 10:27Speaker 2: go back to scantron, paper, pens, write and stuff.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I love I still write everything down. Yeah same,
- 10:33Speaker 5: I'm a dinosaur.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Yeah, guys, real quick. Multiple sources are saying Peess Hilton
- 10:38Speaker 2: was hospitalized last night after viewers of his live stream
- 10:41Speaker 2: reported disturbing activity. So emergency services responded to his home
- 10:46Speaker 2: in Miami and say he was safely taken to a
- 10:49Speaker 2: local hospital where he's getting medical care, But the Sheriff's
- 10:52Speaker 2: office there says their crisis response unit and licensed medical
- 10:56Speaker 2: health or mental health professionals are providing support and recent
- 11:00Speaker 2: sources to his family. His TikTok account was suspended right
- 11:03Speaker 2: after this, but people are saying they are very concerned.
- 11:08Speaker 2: He was visibly distressed. I accidentally saw some of like
- 11:12Speaker 2: a blurred out version of what was happening last night,
- 11:15Speaker 2: extremely disturbing.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Well, I heard a clip of it, and it sounds
- 11:19Speaker 5: like this guy is in a very bad state.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 1: From what I hear, he was like harming himself on the.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Video, right, you could see it.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah, And I mean I don't want to say too
- 11:29Speaker 1: much because it's pretty.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Graphic, very graphic. Yeah.
- 11:33Speaker 5: You know, listen, I haven't heard that name in a while.
- 11:35Speaker 5: And I hope he gets better because that's sad. There's
- 11:38Speaker 5: nothing to say about that. Besides, you know, watching somebody
- 11:41Speaker 5: have a public breakdown is sad, and it's it's a
- 11:45Speaker 5: nightmare situation because these people relying on like TikTok streams
- 11:49Speaker 5: and lives and it's so bad for your mental health.
- 11:52Speaker 2: One hundred percent. And this wasn't just you know, a
- 11:54Speaker 2: mental health breakdown, the physical harm that was happening. Also,
- 11:58Speaker 2: you know, the Perez Hellon was famous in the early
- 12:01Speaker 2: two thousands because of his celebrity gossip website ended up
- 12:04Speaker 2: being on TV. But he has three young kids and
- 12:07Speaker 2: all of this is out there. So I just feel
- 12:08Speaker 2: for him. And a reminder, you know, if you are
- 12:10Speaker 2: someone you know is ever in crisis, you can't call
- 12:13Speaker 2: her text nine to eight eight. I encourage you to
- 12:16Speaker 2: do that. If you've come across this video or we're
- 12:18Speaker 2: part of this as well, so I'll keep you posted.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I'm Cannaslopez. Those are your Texas top stories Onay.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Thank you for having a son.
- 12:25Speaker 5: This morning, it's mixed one or two point nine. The
- 12:28Speaker 5: only the kid, Canda Slopez is your producer.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Pooh is here.
- 12:31Speaker 5: We got Dirty Little Secret at seven thirty. I'm gonna
- 12:34Speaker 5: tell you right now, you do not want to miss today.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Oh just wait to hear what this dad did. His
- 12:39Speaker 5: son might never talk to me again when he grows up.
- 12:42Speaker 5: Oh no, that's all I'm gonna say. This is a
- 12:45Speaker 5: something Poo would do. That's all I'm gonna say.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Something, and Pooh would do.
- 12:50Speaker 5: Dirty Little Secret at seven thirty. We got that right now.
- 12:52Speaker 5: First call her the day. Got four pack of tickets
- 12:55Speaker 5: to Ringling Brothers in Barnum and Bailey Wac on Friday
- 12:58Speaker 5: the twenty eighth. They're also going to be at Ikey's
- 13:00Speaker 5: I think the twenty first or the twenty third, So
- 13:02Speaker 5: check them out there.
- 13:03Speaker 1: All right, let's do it. Who's this? Yeah, this is lady.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Hey Lacey. It sounds like you're in a tin can.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I know.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Oh that's okay. Where are you from?
- 13:15Speaker 5: Oh, we haven't had a minion Malakoff call in a while. Well, good, well,
- 13:19Speaker 5: thank you so much for listening. Guess what you're calling
- 13:22Speaker 5: number one? Congratulations, Oh awesome, thank you service right there,
- 13:29Speaker 5: you can barely hear you. What do you do for
- 13:33Speaker 5: a living?
- 13:34Speaker 8: Yeah, I work on a private community like a POA.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Well, don't work too hard today. Thank you for listening.
- 13:41Speaker 5: We really appreciate it. And yeah, let me hook you
- 13:43Speaker 5: with these tickets.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Okay, all right, thank you. You're the best. Malakoff. Love that. Yeah,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it's been a while. Okay, let's do it.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Reel or fake news. Somebody give you three headlines. You
- 13:51Speaker 5: gotta tell me which one is fake. And the news
- 13:53Speaker 5: is extra crazy, so sometimes this is a very hard game.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Cannice hasn't one in about four weeks. You have a
- 14:00Speaker 5: one sense.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I'm a bad streak.
- 14:02Speaker 1: God, I don't know.
- 14:03Speaker 5: And today I was gonna say today you're extra tired.
- 14:06Speaker 5: So yeah, we'll see if you can turn it around.
- 14:09Speaker 5: You ready, three headlines? One is fake? First headline? A
- 14:13Speaker 5: South Florida steakhouse has launched nude dining. A South Florida
- 14:20Speaker 5: steakhouse has launched nude dining. Okay, you're ready. Headline number
- 14:26Speaker 5: two another Florida story. Yeah, Florida man calls nine one
- 14:31Speaker 5: one to report his own truck stolen dot dot dot
- 14:35Speaker 5: while he's driving it. Florida man calls nine one one
- 14:41Speaker 5: to report his own truck stolen dot dot dot while
- 14:45Speaker 5: he's driving it.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Okay, headline at number three.
- 14:49Speaker 5: Clothing brand says it's new T shirt doesn't need to
- 14:52Speaker 5: be washed for up to a month.
- 14:55Speaker 1: What yep?
- 14:56Speaker 2: A month?
- 14:57Speaker 1: A whole month.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Clothing brand says it's a new T shirt doesn't have
- 15:01Speaker 5: to be washed for up to a month.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Three headlines right there. You gotta tell me.
- 15:07Speaker 5: Which one do you think is fake? And Candice, can
- 15:10Speaker 5: you turn it around today?
- 15:11Speaker 1: Can you win? You could pick first, or you could
- 15:14Speaker 1: pass it to poo and he can go first.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Well both of those over the last week, and I
- 15:17Speaker 2: still have the one. So lock me in for that
- 15:19Speaker 2: second story. I don't know the stolen truck while he's
- 15:22Speaker 2: in it.
- 15:22Speaker 1: You think that's ridiculous, that's insane? Okay, and it is.
- 15:25Speaker 5: Florida says, Yeah, Crazier things have happened. They have.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm not gonna overanalyze it. Just lock
- 15:31Speaker 2: me in, lock it in.
- 15:33Speaker 5: It is locked in. I think that's the fake story. Producer, Pooh,
- 15:37Speaker 5: can you continue your big win streak? Which one do
- 15:40Speaker 5: you think is fake?
- 15:41Speaker 6: Lock me in for that last story, a Noo shirt
- 15:44Speaker 6: lasted the whole month's stink.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Well, you go a month without washing your clothes away,
- 15:50Speaker 5: let's lock it in. It is locked in, and the
- 15:54Speaker 5: winner today is I can't believe it, but she's back.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Cantasize about time.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Finally, finally, I gotta stop overthinking it.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you used to be the master at
- 16:11Speaker 1: this game.
- 16:11Speaker 2: I know.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Yeah, like literally you wouldn't lose, I know.
- 16:14Speaker 5: And then Pooh won like four days in a row,
- 16:17Speaker 5: and then I won and then Pooh won, and wow,
- 16:19Speaker 5: good for you.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Can't I'm back.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Okay, you are back. Let's get into it. Some of
- 16:23Speaker 5: these real stories are kind of wild.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:24Speaker 5: The fake story was the guy reporting his own truck
- 16:27Speaker 5: stolen while he was driving it.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I was trying to throw you off the Florida part.
- 16:31Speaker 5: That's so normal to see these crazy stories in Florida, right,
- 16:34Speaker 5: But that was fake real stories. Clothing brand says it's
- 16:37Speaker 5: new T shirt doesn't need to be washed for up
- 16:39Speaker 5: to a month, so this is an American clothing company
- 16:44Speaker 5: says it's made this T shirt you can wear every
- 16:46Speaker 5: day and you don't have to wash it and it
- 16:49Speaker 5: won't smell. The company is called herk Leon and it's
- 16:53Speaker 5: the same brand that made the self cleaning underwear. Do
- 16:56Speaker 5: you remember those No, yeah.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Self cleaning underwear.
- 17:00Speaker 1: I had a pair.
- 17:01Speaker 8: No it.
- 17:02Speaker 5: It was great. They clean them while you were while
- 17:04Speaker 5: you were wearing them. Now I'm just kidding. I have
- 17:07Speaker 5: no idea. This new T shirt is called the Hirk
- 17:10Speaker 5: Shirt five point zero. It's designed to stay odor free
- 17:14Speaker 5: for more than thirty days, even in the summer heat.
- 17:19Speaker 5: So to pull this off, yes, even the Texas summer heat,
- 17:23Speaker 5: it says, the company is wove seven special ingredients right
- 17:26Speaker 5: into the fabric, including copper, silver, zinc, gold, and volcanic
- 17:32Speaker 5: ash plus two secret ingredients.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Okay, the copper helps stop.
- 17:38Speaker 5: The odor and stops bacteria, the zinc fights the smell
- 17:41Speaker 5: from sweat, and the volcanic ash soaks up moisture like
- 17:45Speaker 5: a sponge. The shirt costs seventy nine dollars, but the
- 17:48Speaker 5: company says it should outlast seven regular shirts that you have. Okay,
- 17:53Speaker 5: it ships out November. They're going to start it in
- 17:55Speaker 5: black and more colors are planned soon. But yeah, can
- 17:59Speaker 5: you believe that there's cheaper versions that only last for
- 18:02Speaker 5: like fourteen days?
- 18:03Speaker 2: Okay? Is that like the four point zero? This is
- 18:06Speaker 2: the five point.
- 18:07Speaker 5: It's just a cheaper version. Okay, so those are only
- 18:10Speaker 5: like sixty bucks? Would you wear this?
- 18:13Speaker 1: No, no, me either.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I don't like that stuff in my clothes.
- 18:16Speaker 6: Volcanic ash. Ain't no volcanoes here? Yeah, well, no kidding.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Poo, thanks, you're not wearing you t me about the
- 18:22Speaker 2: two secret ingredients.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I need to know.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I don't trust that.
- 18:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know either, but can irritated candastings to
- 18:30Speaker 5: see all the ingredients. But they say you're not supposed
- 18:34Speaker 5: to wash your jeans all the time. Well, yeah, you're
- 18:36Speaker 5: supposed to put them in the freezer.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I've heard that before, but I don't know anyone who's
- 18:39Speaker 2: ever done it. Yeah.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yeah, no, you're supposed to put him in the freezer.
- 18:43Speaker 2: No, supposedly, yeah, because.
- 18:45Speaker 1: It kills the bacteria. You're not. Levi says you're not
- 18:47Speaker 1: supposed to wash your jeans all the time.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Their CEO, I think, made a statement about that a
- 18:50Speaker 2: couple of years ago.
- 18:51Speaker 5: Just telling you now, so stop washing. Close you show
- 18:54Speaker 5: off all right next headlind Yeah, who does that? A
- 18:58Speaker 5: South Florida steakhouse is launch nude dining.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Why this is a real thing.
- 19:05Speaker 5: On the first Monday of every month, Class Soiree steakhouse
- 19:08Speaker 5: in Hollywood, Florida, holds a special evening where guests can
- 19:12Speaker 5: enjoy a very fancy meal buck naked.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Oh wow, yep, I guess the owner.
- 19:19Speaker 5: The chef and the owner came up with this as
- 19:22Speaker 5: a new way to draw in customers and create a
- 19:24Speaker 5: little buzz. He says, it's taken off. All his crew
- 19:27Speaker 5: are very professional. By the way, if you're wondering, they
- 19:30Speaker 5: wear clothes. Oh good, So the staff is clothed, but
- 19:34Speaker 5: everyone else is naked.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yeah, the.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Hostess will greet you naked, though, so the chefs, the
- 19:45Speaker 5: kitchen staff, and the servers wear clothes.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Host is naked.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Is going on?
- 19:52Speaker 5: Tickets run two hundred and fifty dollars for men and
- 19:56Speaker 5: one hundred and fifty dollars for women, three hundred dollars
- 19:58Speaker 5: for couples and the The restaurant has been sold out
- 20:02Speaker 5: for the last like, I mean a few weeks on
- 20:05Speaker 5: Mondays ew whether it's legal or not, the city's trying
- 20:08Speaker 5: to figure it out.
- 20:10Speaker 2: So hold on, yeah, hold on, you don't want to drop.
- 20:15Speaker 1: That to your statement.
- 20:16Speaker 5: Ooh no, this is my worst note. I hate being naked,
- 20:21Speaker 5: but Pooh loves it.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but I wouldn't go to that.
- 20:24Speaker 6: No, okay, here's a question. Though, I ain't paying two
- 20:27Speaker 6: hundred and fifty dollars a vee. No, no, I can't
- 20:29Speaker 6: do it. But what if Applebee's did it?
- 20:32Speaker 3: Now?
- 20:33Speaker 1: That might be different? Makes one or two point nine?
- 20:36Speaker 1: Good morning? It's bill like a kid, Canda slow passes

- 20:47Speaker 5: phrase there's no such thing as a dumb question. Yeah,
- 20:50Speaker 5: can we get rid of that? I think that only
- 20:53Speaker 5: applies to kids. Okay, if you're in school, cool, But
- 20:57Speaker 5: if you're an adult. We have so many people asking
- 21:01Speaker 5: dumb questions, for sure, many dumb questions. So somebody listed,

- 30:18Speaker 3: that collection is worth like a few thousand bucks.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, big time for real.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Here comes the This is the tough part. I I
- 30:31Speaker 3: pond this Pokemon collection. I mean it's well, I mean
- 30:44Speaker 3: I need that money. I've hit some really hard times financially,
- 30:48Speaker 3: and I you know, I share custody. I have to
- 30:51Speaker 3: be able to provide. You know, my hours got cut
- 30:53Speaker 3: back at work and I'm behind on bills. It just
- 30:57Speaker 3: feels like every week something goes wrong, like I just
- 31:00Speaker 3: feel like I'm about to get my head above water,
- 31:02Speaker 3: and then oh I need new tires, you know, No,
- 31:05Speaker 3: I get it, and my all my mail is like
- 31:08Speaker 3: overdue notices, and so I'm just I'm trying to keep
- 31:12Speaker 3: the trains running over here, you know what I mean.
- 31:14Speaker 3: I'm the dad, and I got to keep the lights on.
- 31:17Speaker 3: So I didn't sell them.
- 31:18Speaker 8: You know.
- 31:18Speaker 3: I took them to pawn shop and I got the
- 31:20Speaker 3: loan against him, and my plan is, okay, to pay
- 31:24Speaker 3: back and get them, you know, Okay, you know if
- 31:28Speaker 3: I don't. If I don't, they're gone.
- 31:30Speaker 5: Okay, So you can, okay, cause I'm kind of familiar
- 31:33Speaker 5: without it, and I've never really pawned.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Anything I have. So you could put you could take
- 31:37Speaker 1: a watch.
- 31:38Speaker 5: You could take you could take a watch and be like, hey,
- 31:41Speaker 5: hold this, give me two hundred bucks cash and I'll
- 31:43Speaker 5: come back.
- 31:43Speaker 6: They'll make an offer and they'll say, hey, this watch
- 31:45Speaker 6: is worth five hundred dollars.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Right, and then they'll give you get a loan for that.
- 31:50Speaker 1: You've got to pay the loan back, but you got
- 31:52Speaker 1: to pay it back in a time of the fashion.
- 31:53Speaker 6: If you don't, that watch is gone, and those payments
- 31:57Speaker 6: that you paid leading up to that gone are gone
- 31:59Speaker 6: because I done it before you pawn huh upon some
- 32:03Speaker 6: tools a long time ago?
- 32:04Speaker 1: Were they yours? Oh? Great? God?
- 32:10Speaker 3: Like the worst part, Like the last time we were together,
- 32:13Speaker 3: he was asked me where the cards were, and so
- 32:17Speaker 3: I lied to them. This is part of it too.
- 32:19Speaker 3: I told him they were in a safety deposit pockets
- 32:22Speaker 3: at the bank so they wouldn't get damage or stolen.
- 32:25Speaker 3: And he actually was like, he was like, Hey, that's
- 32:28Speaker 3: a good idea, Dad, and that just this whole thing.
- 32:34Speaker 1: I mean.
- 32:36Speaker 2: That you're doing the best you can.
- 32:38Speaker 3: No, I still have a few weeks and I'm doing
- 32:43Speaker 3: everything I can.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I come up with this money.
- 32:44Speaker 3: I've been picking up odd jobs, I've been selling other stuff,
- 32:48Speaker 3: and I definitely haven't told my ex wife about this,
- 32:52Speaker 3: but uh yeah, if I don't get those cards back,
- 32:54Speaker 3: I mean, it's not just about losing the money. It's
- 32:56Speaker 3: about losing the one thing that my son and I
- 32:58Speaker 3: have sort of built together over the last.
- 33:00Speaker 1: One well years.
- 33:01Speaker 5: They said, there's no way, there's no way you're not
- 33:04Speaker 5: gonna if you got to call us back and we
- 33:06Speaker 5: got to help you out here, you gotta get this
- 33:08Speaker 5: kid's Pokemon cards back.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Right, man, So you'll get you'll get it. You sound
- 33:13Speaker 1: like a good dad.
- 33:14Speaker 5: I mean, listen, there's a lot of parents who have
- 33:17Speaker 5: fallen on struggles.
- 33:18Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I feel a little better talking to
- 33:21Speaker 3: you guys, as you can well imagine. It's not my
- 33:24Speaker 3: finest hour as a father.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Yeah. I never went through with it.
- 33:28Speaker 6: But my oldest son, Chris, he has a big Pokemon collection,
- 33:33Speaker 6: really like, yeah, he's got a shar Zard or whatever
- 33:36Speaker 6: that character's name. It's worth about twenty five hundred by itself,
- 33:40Speaker 6: that one card.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Where's that right now? Did you say no? No, No,
- 33:44Speaker 1: it's it's with him. It's with him. Good And you
- 33:46Speaker 1: never sold it when he was no, But.
- 33:48Speaker 6: There were some times I was like who But I
- 33:51Speaker 6: never knew about him. You know, they became a real popular.
- 33:54Speaker 1: What you're saying. If you knew it was.
- 33:56Speaker 6: Worth that, there's some nights of lights would have been
- 33:59Speaker 6: on instead of lighting candles.
- 34:01Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, sharers are well, sir.
- 34:08Speaker 5: Let us keep us in the loop on what happens
- 34:10Speaker 5: and we'll make sure that he doesn't lose his Pokemon cards.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Thanks guys.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Who gets your hands on that?
- 34:17Speaker 1: Yeah, said it his way.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Yeah, that one car.
- 34:22Speaker 4: Thanks guy.
- 34:22Speaker 5: Well let us know. Okay, you're so messed up. I
- 34:25Speaker 5: mean pawn the kids club. But my dad did the
- 34:28Speaker 5: same thing when I was a kid. Yeah did yeah,
- 34:30Speaker 5: you know, like because I had corrective lenses because one
- 34:33Speaker 5: of my eyes was crossed.
- 34:35Speaker 1: It was when I was little.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, is real.
- 34:38Speaker 1: And he pawned the glasses.
- 34:40Speaker 2: No, yes, he did stop it.
- 34:44Speaker 1: One day.
- 34:44Speaker 5: I woke up, went to put him on and they
- 34:46Speaker 5: were gone. And then and then he left. I swear
- 34:53Speaker 5: to you, all right, dirty little secret. I just gave
- 34:55Speaker 5: you one of my dirty little secrets. That's why one
- 34:57Speaker 5: of my eyes is.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Still a little.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Oh no, it's not. Wait, maybe it is.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Thanks a lot, all right.
- 35:06Speaker 4: He's doing for Candace Court. It gets settled here with
- 35:10Speaker 4: Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 35:12Speaker 5: All rise for the Honorable Judge Cannas Lopez.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Here she comes. It's mixed one or two point nine.
- 35:17Speaker 5: She is ready for some justice served up on a
- 35:20Speaker 5: cold hard organic platter.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I'm sure, because oh yeah, she keeps things clean. She
- 35:24Speaker 1: only needs clean that's what she does.
- 35:27Speaker 2: All the time.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Less ingredients the better, that's true. Okay, all right, So
- 35:32Speaker 1: if you have a problem.
- 35:33Speaker 5: Candace will help you solve it at Cannas on Air
- 35:35Speaker 5: on Instagram at Candace on Air hitter up.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Okay, we got one right here? You ready?
- 35:39Speaker 5: Yeah, we have some drama in our office on Fridays,
- 35:43Speaker 5: and I think Candace Court is the best place to
- 35:46Speaker 5: bring it up before we address it here at work.
- 35:48Speaker 5: So we rotate every Friday, and someone brings the donuts
- 35:52Speaker 5: every week to our office. Okay, some donut drama.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 35:57Speaker 1: So well, there's.
- 35:58Speaker 5: Always someone There's always someone who cuts a donut in
- 36:03Speaker 5: half and there's the other half in the box. Okay
- 36:08Speaker 5: that is pretty much every office.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Yeah right, yeah, for sure, been in.
- 36:13Speaker 5: Okay, I think that this is so rude and the
- 36:19Speaker 5: donuts aren't even appetizing when you see food that has
- 36:22Speaker 5: been cut up and left in there. I get that
- 36:25Speaker 5: they only want a half a donut, but I think
- 36:28Speaker 5: they should take the whole thing and throw the other
- 36:32Speaker 5: half away or give it to someone else. I just
- 36:36Speaker 5: don't want to eat someone else's leftover half donuts. This
- 36:42Speaker 5: is so gross to me. Is that too much to ask?
- 36:45Speaker 5: Please tell me what you think the proper off if
- 36:47Speaker 5: office etiquette is okay? Well, Candice, where do we start
- 36:51Speaker 5: with this, because I mean, I think we have a
- 36:53Speaker 5: lot of food brought up here, you know, with being
- 36:57Speaker 5: what we do.
- 36:58Speaker 1: There's a lot of food in the break room.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Yeah, all the time.
- 37:00Speaker 1: There's always food. There's always something going on.
- 37:03Speaker 5: And I, as I've gotten older, have gotten a little
- 37:05Speaker 5: bit weird about this you have. Yeah, when it comes
- 37:08Speaker 5: to people touching food and what I eat back in
- 37:11Speaker 5: the day, I mean, if it was in the break room,
- 37:13Speaker 5: I didn't care.
- 37:13Speaker 1: How long it was there.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 37:16Speaker 5: I didn't care who touched it. I'm eating it now
- 37:19Speaker 5: a little bit different.
- 37:20Speaker 1: What about you? Do you think this is rude?
- 37:22Speaker 2: Well, here's my take, because I will say that this
- 37:24Speaker 2: has happened in pretty much every office I've ever worked in,
- 37:27Speaker 2: because that person cutting the donut in half is me.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Usually when I do this, I don't touch it. No,
- 37:35Speaker 2: it's a clean cut. Okay, it's all good. I've cut
- 37:40Speaker 2: it in half. I've left the half because I don't
- 37:42Speaker 2: want to be wasteful. I'm definitely not just gonna take
- 37:44Speaker 2: the donut and throw half away.
- 37:46Speaker 1: So I'm on this person's side. I think I am.
- 37:48Speaker 5: I think this is rude. I think you're you're not
- 37:52Speaker 5: thinking about others. I think, Cannice, you.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Might I am thinking about others.
- 37:55Speaker 1: No, I think that you You might go, Well, it's me.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I know.
- 37:59Speaker 2: It's me with the It's me and I'm cutting it clean.
- 38:01Speaker 2: I'm not touching it. I'm not breathing on it.
- 38:03Speaker 8: You can.
- 38:03Speaker 5: It's the person rolling up on that sad little half
- 38:06Speaker 5: donut in the box.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't know it was you.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure. I tell you, guys, it's me. Do
- 38:11Speaker 2: I need to send an all staff email and say, hey, guys,
- 38:14Speaker 2: I'm the one that cuts the donut.
- 38:15Speaker 1: You got to be approved by corporate because.
- 38:17Speaker 6: We had donuts last week, right and there were some halves.
- 38:19Speaker 6: He's in there and I didn't. I didn't touch him
- 38:21Speaker 6: because I don't know.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Now that's a lie. What now that is a lie?
- 38:24Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 38:25Speaker 5: That's not a Pooh is sitting here saying he doesn't
- 38:27Speaker 5: need a half donut.
- 38:28Speaker 1: No, he don't care how that doughnut got there.
- 38:31Speaker 6: He's eating you know, you know how I am Because
- 38:33Speaker 6: people might have cats or something.
- 38:35Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't trust.
- 38:37Speaker 6: I don't trust just everybody. Now, Candice, if I know.
- 38:39Speaker 1: She cut it? Yeah, but no, Okay, I don't know
- 38:42Speaker 1: if I agree with that. Everybody else up here, I
- 38:44Speaker 1: don't know. I'm sorry.
- 38:45Speaker 5: Here's the problem with the half donut person. The half
- 38:48Speaker 5: donut person holds one half.
- 38:51Speaker 2: There you go, right, But you can tell when someone's
- 38:54Speaker 2: like cart or whatever. There's a tiny little fingerprint. One
- 38:58Speaker 2: part is smash. The frosting is damage.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I'm saying they do that.
- 39:01Speaker 5: Yes, the pull apart is obvious, right, yeah, you see
- 39:04Speaker 5: the pull apart technique.
- 39:05Speaker 1: That's obvious.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we're out.
- 39:07Speaker 5: But if you but sometimes people cut it and still
- 39:10Speaker 5: hold the other half and it looks clean.
- 39:14Speaker 1: What a clean, precise cut.
- 39:15Speaker 6: The problem is your thumb been there players Yeah, your
- 39:19Speaker 6: paws been all.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Over that other half.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I don't touch the part I'm not gonna eat.
- 39:24Speaker 2: I touch my half, make a clean cut, pull apart
- 39:26Speaker 2: my part that I'm going to eat and leave you
- 39:29Speaker 2: a little you know, halvesy. When you just walk through
- 39:31Speaker 2: you just want to grab a quick havesy and keep rolling.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I'm not the.
- 39:34Speaker 5: Judge, But what other office etiquette do you think is gross?
- 39:37Speaker 5: Because I think this is gross? What else do I
- 39:39Speaker 5: think is gross? I think it's kind of gross when
- 39:41Speaker 5: people bring stuff to the workplace that smells okay, and
- 39:46Speaker 5: I'm not talking about the obvious. Let's heat up fish
- 39:50Speaker 5: in the breakroom that that's nasty too.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Yeah, but some.
- 39:53Speaker 5: People just bring in food that is it's just too
- 39:55Speaker 5: much for an office workplace.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Right, But what are you supposed to do?
- 39:59Speaker 1: Say no, it's rude. You can't do that. I'm sorry.
- 40:01Speaker 5: It's like wearing a strong prefer perfume or cologne in
- 40:04Speaker 5: the office.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Don't do that. Other people work here.
- 40:07Speaker 2: No, I agree with that.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Don't bring it on the plane.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Sorry, I can't help. We had leftovers. That's the only
- 40:12Speaker 2: thing I could grab on the way to work in
- 40:14Speaker 2: the morning. And maybe it's a little fragrant.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Well, you bring in some fragrant stuff.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Not often. Sometimes I brought in like leftover meat or something,
- 40:25Speaker 2: or like a sweet potato.
- 40:26Speaker 5: But like I bring in eggs, hard boiled eggs, and
- 40:30Speaker 5: I because I eat it a lot for breakfast.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Mine don't stink.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Well, that's because yours are from the grocery store. Well, sorry,
- 40:36Speaker 2: hard boiled mine last night.
- 40:37Speaker 5: Well you need to go to the grocery store because
- 40:40Speaker 5: I'm telling you right now, there's not enough for breeze
- 40:43Speaker 5: in this place to cover up the stench of your
- 40:46Speaker 5: organic gluten free whatever, my gosh home raise, forny bread.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Forny bread. Well, it's because when I have hard boiled eggs,
- 40:56Speaker 2: I don't go for like fifteen minutes to make them
- 40:58Speaker 2: all like tired and dry. I like like a Jammy center,
- 41:02Speaker 2: So I go like ten days.
- 41:04Speaker 1: God, I'm okay with ever hearing the word.
- 41:08Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Well, no, not gooey, but
- 41:11Speaker 2: like you can still have some flavor in the yolk,
- 41:14Speaker 2: but your eggs be staying well yeah, I'm not with that. Okay,
- 41:19Speaker 2: But if we all eat eggs and it's fine.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Well, but you're considering, you'll be like, hey, I'm about
- 41:23Speaker 1: to bring in my eggs exactly.
- 41:25Speaker 2: I've even like been outside the door eating my eggs
- 41:27Speaker 2: before when they were super strong.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I like that. Yeah, I think you should go across
- 41:31Speaker 1: the street to Digs.
- 41:32Speaker 6: Somebody brought it in like some sour krawd biscuits the
- 41:35Speaker 6: other day or something.
- 41:38Speaker 5: Okay, what's a sour crowd biscuit that sell like sour krowd?
- 41:43Speaker 1: It was some braid. She was eating it up.
- 41:45Speaker 6: Oh well, I was like, what is that in the
- 41:48Speaker 6: whole kitchen smelled We've had.
- 41:50Speaker 5: Recently, we've had somebody I don't know who. They're bringing
- 41:52Speaker 5: in something. They're bringing in leftover stuff from their pantry
- 41:55Speaker 5: at home into the break room because they don't want
- 41:57Speaker 5: to eat it anymore.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Right, I'm seeing that. It was like a half open
- 42:00Speaker 2: box of cereals, right, muffins, like three muffins left in
- 42:06Speaker 2: the four pack.
- 42:07Speaker 1: What's going on with that?
- 42:08Speaker 2: I don't know. Cleaning out their cloth. Maybe they're starting
- 42:11Speaker 2: to do diet and like, hey, I can't have as.
- 42:14Speaker 5: Eminem clean out your closet somewhere else. There's a half
- 42:19Speaker 5: can of tuna in there. Who brought in a half
- 42:22Speaker 5: can of tuna?
- 42:23Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I'm not gonna eat the other half, but if you
- 42:26Speaker 1: want to take it, no, thank you.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Lord?
- 42:31Speaker 1: What is happening? And they would be allowed to bring
- 42:34Speaker 1: anything from home?
- 42:35Speaker 5: No, not like that, especially who says if you have cats,
- 42:39Speaker 5: you should never bring anything from home.
- 42:41Speaker 6: Because I don't trust you. Everybody washed their hands, and
- 42:45Speaker 6: I'm looting this that first hands are cleaner than you.
- 42:47Speaker 6: Every time we have something up here, I always sit back.
- 42:50Speaker 5: So if someone has a pot luck and they have cats,
- 42:53Speaker 5: you won't eat their food.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Nope, I'll watch you all eat it. I'm not touching it.
- 42:57Speaker 2: That's true. I've seen it.
- 42:59Speaker 6: I have seen it. I know y'all wash your hands.
- 43:01Speaker 6: But there's some people out here I swear.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Oh no, I know. We'll leave the bathroom. I'll be
- 43:06Speaker 1: like bro oh doll t haul skipping the sink. That's
- 43:12Speaker 1: what I call it. All right?
- 43:13Speaker 2: Do we have a verdict, Cannis, Yeah, we do. Look,
- 43:17Speaker 2: I'm a half sea girl and I'm down for it.
- 43:19Speaker 2: So you guys are guilty of being Gladys Glinda's Oh
- 43:22Speaker 2: you know uptight about my half tona. I left you.
- 43:26Speaker 2: I didn't touch that house. Oh you's a clean cut.
- 43:29Speaker 1: If it was my court, you'd be guilty being a
- 43:30Speaker 1: half sea Hannah.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Now I'm a butter knife Brenda.
- 43:36Speaker 4: It's tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in.
- 43:39Speaker 7: The morning only on the new Mixed one or two
- 43:42Speaker 7: point nine.
- 43:42Speaker 5: Don't your chance of this Disneyland trip coming up next
- 43:45Speaker 5: for summer ween If you want to win, make sure
- 43:47Speaker 5: you listen.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Cannas lowpats what is going on? Well?
- 43:49Speaker 2: Chrysler is recalling over a million of its Ram fifteen
- 43:52Speaker 2: hundred trucks because of its seat belt defect. So this
- 43:55Speaker 2: goes for certain trucks built between twenty nineteen and twenty
- 43:58Speaker 2: twenty six, saying the second row seat belt buckle anchors
- 44:03Speaker 2: may not have been installed properly, so that could increase
- 44:05Speaker 2: risk of injury in a crash. Dealers will check and
- 44:09Speaker 2: fix it for you for free if you do have
- 44:10Speaker 2: one of the affected vehicles. So just to heads up,
- 44:13Speaker 2: not what you want to hear from the second mode.
- 44:15Speaker 5: Yeah no, yeah, your seat belt's not working right, but
- 44:17Speaker 5: we'll figure it out.
- 44:19Speaker 2: No, sorry, kids in the back, Yeah, watch out, guys.
- 44:22Speaker 5: When we were kids, we didn't even wear seatbelts that point.
- 44:25Speaker 5: I was living on the floorboard, I was on the dashboard.
- 44:27Speaker 1: I don't even think I was in the car, was
- 44:29Speaker 1: on the roof whatever. We just survived.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Definitely rode in the back of the truck for sure. Yeah, yeah, guys.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Waimo is now officially taking riders and it's fully autonomous
- 44:39Speaker 2: cars through Dallas, so I guess they had a wait
- 44:42Speaker 2: list up until yesterday. But right now rides are limited
- 44:46Speaker 2: to local city streets within the Dallas service area, so
- 44:50Speaker 2: you can't exactly take it to the airport or on
- 44:52Speaker 2: the highway just yet. They are testing operations at love
- 44:55Speaker 2: Field and some local freeways. They haven't said when the
- 44:58Speaker 2: exact launch date for the those rides will be, but
- 45:02Speaker 2: I'll definitely keep you posted. But they did take nearly
- 45:04Speaker 2: one hundred and fifty thousand people during the invite only
- 45:07Speaker 2: phase of WAYMO Dallas, So you're gonna see people in
- 45:11Speaker 2: the back now when you see those rolling around.
- 45:13Speaker 1: You know, I want to try it. I mean, I
- 45:15Speaker 1: don't think i'd get on the highway with weymol, but yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 1: I'm kind of cool with it.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't imagine just not nobody in the past
- 45:21Speaker 2: in the driver's seat. Like maybe if I'm in the
- 45:23Speaker 2: driver's seat and if something happens, I could take control. Maybe,
- 45:27Speaker 2: But I keep seeing them. I just saw a video
- 45:28Speaker 2: of one like stopped in a busy intersection I think
- 45:31Speaker 2: in La like Sunset Boulevard, just stopped in the middle
- 45:33Speaker 2: of the intersection and people were like, uh, somebody moved
- 45:36Speaker 2: this thing.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Well, maybe just ran out of batteries. Maybe it was tired.
- 45:39Speaker 2: I don't know, maybe it just clocked out.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I still like using our Uber drivers, because we love
- 45:43Speaker 1: our Uber drivers.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 45:45Speaker 1: I like people employed rather than a robot.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm all for that.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Maybe that's just me.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely, guys, this was a serious story that broke overnight.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Multiple sources are saying Perez Hilton was hospitalized last night
- 45:58Speaker 2: after viewers of his live stream reported disturbing activity. Emergency
- 46:03Speaker 2: services responded to his home in Miami and say he
- 46:06Speaker 2: was safely taken to a local hospital, where he is
- 46:09Speaker 2: getting medical care. The Sheriff's office there says their crisis
- 46:13Speaker 2: response unit and licensed mental health professionals were providing support
- 46:17Speaker 2: and resources to his family, but his TikTok account was
- 46:20Speaker 2: suspended shortly after this. People were saying, you know, he
- 46:24Speaker 2: was visibly distressed, there was some self harm involved, and
- 46:28Speaker 2: just a really graphic graphic video.
- 46:31Speaker 5: I thin be careful if you run across the video today.
- 46:33Speaker 5: It is very graphic. It is just it's a lot.
- 46:36Speaker 5: It's it's sad to watch because it's obviously someone going
- 46:39Speaker 5: through a mental crisis where they're yeah, harming themselves, and
- 46:43Speaker 5: I just you know, you could think whatever you want
- 46:45Speaker 5: about people, but I don't want to see anybody break
- 46:47Speaker 5: down in public like that.
- 46:49Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, I mean, if you're not familiar with
- 46:52Speaker 2: Pez Hilton for some reason, he was you know, famous
- 46:55Speaker 2: in the early two thousands because of his celebrity gossip website,
- 46:58Speaker 2: but he has three young kids and to see this happen,
- 47:01Speaker 2: you know, in front of I don't know what the
- 47:02Speaker 2: audience or the viewers were like for this last night,
- 47:05Speaker 2: but clearly pretty big audience for people to be calling
- 47:09Speaker 2: police streamers.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I mean, it's just not a healthy lifestyle.
- 47:12Speaker 2: No, it's definitely not. I'll keep you posted if there's
- 47:14Speaker 2: any updates, though. If you do need the crisis helpline,
- 47:17Speaker 2: you can call her text at nine to eight eight.
- 47:19Speaker 2: I'm Kandaslopez. Those are your Texas hop stories. Oh that's
- 47:23Speaker 2: a hontage.
- 47:24Speaker 4: Let us know what you think.
- 47:25Speaker 7: Here's today's hotage.
- 47:27Speaker 5: Hot take you the day, By the way, your chance
- 47:29Speaker 5: at one thousand dollars coming up next on Mixed one
- 47:31Speaker 5: or two point nine. It's Bailly the Kid, Candice Loan
- 47:34Speaker 5: pants producer poo a Grand would be nice right now
- 47:36Speaker 5: because back to school shopping?
- 47:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, have my son out the other day.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Every T shirt he wants is like forty bucks.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Yes, school supplies are more expensive too.
- 47:47Speaker 5: Oh my, we better get that George at Walmart.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Shirts are soft.
- 47:53Speaker 5: George. Yeah, I love doing no, thank you, thank God.
- 47:55Speaker 5: I know he's not listening right now. I don't think
- 47:57Speaker 5: either way. Well, I took him to H and M
- 47:59Speaker 5: and he found like shirt that he liked. It was
- 48:01Speaker 5: super cheap, and I was like, these must be on sale.
- 48:03Speaker 5: I swear kids when they know. He's like me, if
- 48:06Speaker 5: you knows something is the price is cheap. He's suspect, right,
- 48:10Speaker 5: So I'm like, these must be on sale and he's like,
- 48:12Speaker 5: oh really, I like him. So then we got a
- 48:14Speaker 5: bunch of them and I was like, okay, cool, nice,
- 48:16Speaker 5: but they were super cheap.
- 48:17Speaker 1: But these kids won, like, oh, let me get that
- 48:20Speaker 1: shirt to pack some Yeah, Yelemon.
- 48:25Speaker 5: Can you imagine us going to school with Lulu Lemon
- 48:28Speaker 5: and Starbucks?
- 48:30Speaker 1: No, these kids do it.
- 48:31Speaker 6: I know, little bad fetuses. We went to school with
- 48:34Speaker 6: tough skins and some dreams.
- 48:36Speaker 5: Yeah, sweatpants, husky sweatpants from Kmart and I had to
- 48:44Speaker 5: figure it out, Like, yeah, figure it out, Billy. Yeah,
- 48:47Speaker 5: well I only have one pair of sweatpants. Well turn
- 48:50Speaker 5: them inside out. There you got a new pair. That's
- 48:54Speaker 5: how I went to school.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Cannis, Yes on the outside tournament and they're white.
- 48:58Speaker 5: Yeah, didn'd you go to school like that.
- 49:02Speaker 2: No, no, inside out sweat pants.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Yeah no, no, had holes in them? Hand me down.
- 49:10Speaker 5: Oh yeah, okay, all right, fine, okay, I take it
- 49:13Speaker 5: the day. Okay, Now, I want to know if what
- 49:16Speaker 5: you think about this. This is definitely to me. We
- 49:19Speaker 5: got to figure out if this is normal or not,
- 49:22Speaker 5: if this is something people are out here doing. I'm
- 49:24Speaker 5: not going to say in my opinion until I tell
- 49:26Speaker 5: you what's going on. But basically, this girl went viral
- 49:28Speaker 5: because she was talking about something her daughter did.
- 49:30Speaker 9: They were having dinner and my seventeen year old daughter
- 49:33Speaker 9: says to me, there's no ranch, and I said, I'm sorry.
- 49:37Speaker 2: I guess we're out of ranch.
- 49:38Speaker 9: And she was lyning ranch to eat this, and I said,
- 49:42Speaker 9: I'm sorry, we're out of ranch.
- 49:44Speaker 2: So she says, hold on. She gets up and she
- 49:47Speaker 2: walks out of the house.
- 49:48Speaker 9: So I assume she must be driving to the store
- 49:51Speaker 9: to buy ranch because that's where ranch is. And she
- 49:54Speaker 9: walks right back in and she says, never mind, I'm fine,
- 49:58Speaker 9: And I said, what are you talking about?
- 50:01Speaker 2: And she does, I just remembered I have car ranch.
- 50:05Speaker 2: I said, I'm sorry.
- 50:05Speaker 9: What she said? I had some car ranch, So it's fine.
- 50:09Speaker 9: I'll just use this. I said, what are you talking about?
- 50:14Speaker 9: Why do you have ranch in your car? She goes, well,
- 50:17Speaker 9: when I go to Chick fil A, I just get
- 50:18Speaker 9: extra packets of ranch and I just keep them in
- 50:20Speaker 9: my car.
- 50:21Speaker 6: Okay, hold on, hold.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Okay, is this normal or not?
- 50:27Speaker 5: Because first of all, it's not crazy in the house
- 50:32Speaker 5: right Like if you're in the house, a lot of
- 50:34Speaker 5: people have a conomy drawer of just like spicy ketchup.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Fancy ketchup, parmesan cheese, yeah, some fire.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Sauce, some Polynesian sauce from Chick fil A? Like what
- 50:45Speaker 1: is it?
- 50:45Speaker 5: Do you have a condoment like section? But I usually
- 50:47Speaker 5: would have it in the fridge for sure. I'm not
- 50:50Speaker 5: going to keep cranch. No bar ranch, wasn't it?
- 50:54Speaker 2: It's so hot? Wouldn't that just go bad in your
- 50:56Speaker 2: car in the summer here?
- 50:57Speaker 1: I don't know. But is that wild or not?
- 50:59Speaker 5: They're like, who if you carry condiments in your car
- 51:03Speaker 5: right now? I want to know where why? And I'm
- 51:06Speaker 5: not even I'm not even hating. I don't think it's
- 51:08Speaker 5: I don't think it's crazy.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like there's some salcea in the glove box.
- 51:11Speaker 1: And one okay, no.
- 51:14Speaker 2: No, back in the day, like in high school.
- 51:16Speaker 5: Not No, It's got to be stuff that will last.
- 51:18Speaker 5: Though I don't think. I mean, I know that stuff
- 51:20Speaker 5: in the packets last.
- 51:21Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean I have a girlfriend and she
- 51:23Speaker 2: used to always use at least ten packets of the
- 51:26Speaker 2: Taco bell Fire sauce perps like per Taco me too,
- 51:29Speaker 2: so she would always keep them in her car. And
- 51:31Speaker 2: I have friends who keep hot sauce in their purse.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Is that a Is that a deal breaker?
- 51:35Speaker 5: If like you're dating and guy has a whole glove
- 51:40Speaker 5: box full of condiments, that's weird?
- 51:43Speaker 2: Does that have a variety? Like if you want to
- 51:45Speaker 2: do it, go for it, but don't give it to
- 51:47Speaker 2: me like it's fresh, you know what I mean?
- 51:49Speaker 1: Oh you need some marin ea, hold on, hold on,
- 51:51Speaker 1: let me over here, look at a cup holder.
- 51:55Speaker 5: I mean, I have a couple, but I don't have
- 51:57Speaker 5: anything crazy at that home. Like at the house, I
- 51:59Speaker 5: have nothing in my car. Right, Yes, I'm not going
- 52:01Speaker 5: to keep condiments. That's when I just know I draw
- 52:05Speaker 5: the line there. Or I mean, what conniments do you keep?
- 52:09Speaker 5: I can tell canis zero conniments? You don't even have
- 52:12Speaker 5: a junk.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Drawer at her house.
- 52:13Speaker 2: No, we have a junk drawer. I keep all that stuff.
- 52:16Speaker 2: I always have a Polydesian on hand or like just
- 52:18Speaker 2: an extra catchup.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, do you have conmiments.
- 52:21Speaker 2: In your you have? Uh No, I don't have any
- 52:24Speaker 2: condos on purse. But you have a little sweet baby
- 52:26Speaker 2: raised barbecue. Yeah, little thing that they give you it
- 52:29Speaker 2: what is it? Chicken Express? We definitely have some of those.
- 52:32Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, I will tell you a funny story. You
- 52:34Speaker 5: know what happened one time with a very famous superstar.
- 52:37Speaker 5: I can say her name because you can't. It's already
- 52:39Speaker 5: was anything bad. So Rihanna. I mean, that's a big
- 52:43Speaker 5: superstar before she was a big superstar. We went out
- 52:47Speaker 5: to lunch. And that's not me dropping a name. That
- 52:49Speaker 5: was like I was the music director, she was a
- 52:52Speaker 5: new artist.
- 52:53Speaker 2: That's what happens. Yeah, you shooze.
- 52:56Speaker 5: So we go across the street right here at Spring
- 52:59Speaker 5: Valley or Alpha in the toll way to Paradise Bakery.
- 53:03Speaker 5: Can you imagine like me and Rihanna sitting at Paradise Bakery.
- 53:07Speaker 5: It happened, but it was not crazy because she wasn't
- 53:10Speaker 5: famous yet. So we're sitting there and she's ordering stuff
- 53:13Speaker 5: and she ordered something and she looks across to her
- 53:15Speaker 5: you know, manager or whatever, and she's like, no, I'm
- 53:17Speaker 5: not going to do it. And the manager's like, go ahead,
- 53:19Speaker 5: Billy doesn't care. And I was like what. I'm like,
- 53:22Speaker 5: what are you about to do? Because I was like
- 53:23Speaker 5: this is getting weird. No, I'm just embarrassed. And then
- 53:27Speaker 5: she said, I promised, Billy doesn't care. And she reached
- 53:30Speaker 5: in her purse and pulled out an entire bottle of
- 53:34Speaker 5: hot sauce. I was so impressed. It was a special
- 53:41Speaker 5: hot sauce from Barbados that she would carry in her
- 53:44Speaker 5: purse because she wanted.
- 53:45Speaker 1: A taste of home. Wow, whipped out a whole bottle.
- 53:50Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 53:51Speaker 5: And she's like, sorry, you could judge me. And I
- 53:53Speaker 5: was like, you know what, I love you even more now.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Yeah, to give me some and I put it on myself.
- 53:59Speaker 5: But I know, Pooh used to date a girl, and
- 54:02Speaker 5: you tell me if this is different, because it's definitely
- 54:04Speaker 5: not Rihanna.
- 54:05Speaker 1: But she carried an entire bottle of ranch in her purse.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Really, Yeah, she had that hidden valley the whole bottom.
- 54:13Speaker 6: Yeah, she would carry it with her not a packet, No, no,
- 54:17Speaker 6: whole bottle range. I remember one time we were right
- 54:21Speaker 6: across the street at car Mines the Pizza. He's like, nah,
- 54:23Speaker 6: I don't like their ranch. I got my own. I
- 54:25Speaker 6: was like what and pulled it out. I was like, oh,
- 54:30Speaker 6: let me see you.
- 54:30Speaker 5: A little No, I'm not Canda, I'm not kidding you
- 54:34Speaker 5: be anywhere and she'd have that ranch with you.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Don't have to refrigerate it after you open it.
- 54:38Speaker 1: She should have, but she didn't.
- 54:40Speaker 6: On Dick Wow, what she called an e s R.
- 54:51Speaker 5: Her emotional support Its mixed one. On two point nine
- 54:56Speaker 5: and Billy the Kid, Candice low Pez producer Pooh is here.
- 54:59Speaker 5: We were talking about hot take of the day and
- 55:01Speaker 5: is it normal to keep condiments in your car? This
- 55:05Speaker 5: mom was making fun of her daughter because she keeps
- 55:06Speaker 5: a ranch in her car, which I think a.
- 55:09Speaker 1: Lot of people do. Maybe not normal or not. You
- 55:11Speaker 1: tell us, Mimi, you what now?
- 55:13Speaker 8: I got everything? I got stuff from Jack in a box,
- 55:17Speaker 8: I got stuff from you. Name it takacsa. Let me
- 55:23Speaker 8: tell you how it started. Yeah, So years ago, when
- 55:27Speaker 8: my kids were little, I heard this horrible story on
- 55:31Speaker 8: TV about this family that got stuck in the woods,
- 55:35Speaker 8: and the dad left to go find somebody to help them,
- 55:38Speaker 8: and the mom was in the car with two babies.
- 55:41Speaker 8: He never came back, and she was stuck in the
- 55:43Speaker 8: car for like eight or nine days, and all they
- 55:46Speaker 8: had to eat was ketchup packets and the stuff in
- 55:49Speaker 8: the car.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's not funny, don't get it wrong.
- 55:56Speaker 8: It freaked me out. No, for real, it freaked me out.
- 56:00Speaker 8: I started collecting them and I kept them in the car,
- 56:02Speaker 8: and now all my kids do it.
- 56:04Speaker 1: I love I love that.
- 56:08Speaker 5: You're like, you know what, just in case, baby, we're
- 56:10Speaker 5: going to live off these hides ketchs we fire sawce.
- 56:16Speaker 5: I mean, have you taken it to the next level,
- 56:18Speaker 5: and maybe some canned goods in the trunk just in case.
- 56:21Speaker 8: Well, we definitely have water bottles, you know, and little
- 56:24Speaker 8: things here there, snacks. I always have granola. I mean,
- 56:27Speaker 8: you are of granola.
- 56:29Speaker 5: Memi, you are in Granberry. It does get kind of
- 56:31Speaker 5: isolated out there.
- 56:33Speaker 8: Well, I work in Weatherford and we are full time
- 56:36Speaker 8: door dashers, so I accumulate stuff. And now I got
- 56:39Speaker 8: a stockpile around the car.
- 56:40Speaker 5: Okay, okay, Now it wasn't that story, though, I remember
- 56:43Speaker 5: that story. Wasn't it in like a winter storm where
- 56:46Speaker 5: he got lost or they got stuck.
- 56:47Speaker 8: It was sunstance they got stuck, Yeah, somewhere in the woods. Yes,
- 56:51Speaker 8: I think there was. No It's spent many years, but
- 56:54Speaker 8: I remember that the dad. The dad died, but the
- 56:58Speaker 8: wife and the kids were found and that's.
- 57:01Speaker 6: How they lived.
- 57:02Speaker 8: Was they was in.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Their little You know, Candice, you better stock up today just.
- 57:11Speaker 5: In case you get stuck in one of those Texas
- 57:12Speaker 5: winter storms.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Randy, you live off cranch car.
- 57:18Speaker 8: Ranch January in February.
- 57:20Speaker 5: You know, you never know getting one of those ice
- 57:22Speaker 5: storms and you never know.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Mimi, you're prepared. Good for you or good mom?
- 57:26Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 57:27Speaker 1: Well, thank you so much. That's hysterical. You have a
- 57:29Speaker 1: good day.
- 57:30Speaker 8: You Guys'll love you.
- 57:31Speaker 5: Tip your door dashers too, thank you. Okay, Oh now, Jackie, Jackie,
- 57:36Speaker 5: what's up?
- 57:37Speaker 1: Jackie?
- 57:37Speaker 8: How are you?
- 57:38Speaker 9: Billy?
- 57:39Speaker 1: I'm good? Now, what's up with you?
- 57:40Speaker 7: Now?
- 57:40Speaker 5: Do you think this is a normal or nasty? Keeping
- 57:42Speaker 5: condiments in the car, in the house or wherever.
- 57:45Speaker 3: I think that is totally nasty.
- 57:47Speaker 5: You do you don't keep anything like that?
- 57:51Speaker 3: Oh no, definitely not, especially with this heat Texas heat.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Now yeah, you know what.
- 57:57Speaker 5: Yeah, now, Poo's X keeping a bottle of ranch in
- 57:59Speaker 5: her per sa at all times a little bit nasty.
- 58:02Speaker 5: And then I just remembered something else though, Jackie is
- 58:06Speaker 5: she also you know what she also used to do
- 58:08Speaker 5: is she'd have a side stash inner purse of Waterburger.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Gravy just to.
- 58:17Speaker 8: No.
- 58:17Speaker 1: No, she did.
- 58:19Speaker 5: And you know what, she's also one of those people
- 58:22Speaker 5: that would do this, you know, like she liked she
- 58:24Speaker 5: would like one thing from one restaurant, but then go
- 58:27Speaker 5: to another thing. Like she loved the mashed potatoes from KFC, right,
- 58:32Speaker 5: but she loved the gravy from water Burger. So she'd
- 58:35Speaker 5: go to two different places and then put them together.
- 58:39Speaker 5: People do that, I mean people do that, right, you know,
- 58:45Speaker 5: like I know somebody she used to also used to
- 58:47Speaker 5: love the Whopper but loved McDonald's fries, so she'd go
- 58:50Speaker 5: two different places. Yeah that's free, that's actually reasonable, right,
- 58:57Speaker 5: you gotta do what you gotta do, Jackie.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Well, thank you? Where you from? Jackie?
- 59:00Speaker 8: Well, I'm originally from New Jersey. Oh you are, yes,
- 59:04Speaker 8: but I live in a.
- 59:05Speaker 5: You're a Jersey girl. Now that's quite the move. Why
- 59:08Speaker 5: did you why did you go to Aubrey.
- 59:10Speaker 8: Well, my son was living here.
- 59:11Speaker 3: They had a baby, so I came down here.
- 59:14Speaker 1: Oh good for you. I like that. Now do they
- 59:17Speaker 1: call you? Do they call you Mim? Do they call
- 59:19Speaker 1: you Nana? Do they call you grammy? What do they
- 59:21Speaker 1: call you?
- 59:22Speaker 3: Actually, I'm Spanish, so they call me ah?
- 59:25Speaker 1: I love that.
- 59:26Speaker 5: Okay, Well, thank you Jackie, and I'm glad you're down here.
- 59:30Speaker 1: You call us anytime you want. Jackie, thank you so much.
- 59:33Speaker 4: Guys.
- 59:33Speaker 8: Okay, joy hearing you guys on the radio.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Well your are shows a boiler.
- 59:40Speaker 5: That's what I said with a yeah right now. Do
- 59:46Speaker 5: they have a lot of the who wants to ask?
- 59:48Speaker 5: You know, if there's a lot of tortas in New Jersey,
- 59:54Speaker 5: I'll take that as a yes. I want to go
- 59:57Speaker 5: see Nikky at Disneyland. A shot is coming up next,
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: so it's a Halloween celebration, but it's summer. We're giving
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: it away now, so summer we chance to win that
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: trip coming up next, Candice Lopez, what is going on?
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Well, Richardson ISD just announced a new screen time policy
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: and schools for the new school year, so there will
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: also now be no more screen time rewards, so for
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: good behavior or during recess, no screen time. The new
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: limit for pre k and kindergarten is ten to fifteen
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: minutes in a single session, and then from first through
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: sixth graders it can range anywhere from fifteen minutes to
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: thirty minutes, but in like little chunks. So yeah, this
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: is going to be a major change for our isd.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: That's more than you give a Pooh and I for
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: screen time.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Well, you guys can't focus.
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: Yeah, she gives us like four minutes an hour, four minutes.
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: All right, you have four minutes of screen time.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Are we up? But yesterday Pooh messed up so you
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: had none.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Yeah, no rewards, and that's your punishment, your screen time
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: time out too.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: She put you in the corner and yeah, got her
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: phones taken our iPads taken away.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Seriously, I think a lot of parents are happy about
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: this because I'm over the screen time in the school.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: It's just it's a lot, it's too much. I need
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: to save that for like rewards at home.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: Well it's tough, you know, because as soon as they
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: get out of school, they're going to be on screens. Yeah,
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: So I mean, like even out of school, you're gonna
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: be working.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: On the screen. You're gonna be yeah, su Will.
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: What's the balance of teaching kids technology also telling them
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: that the harm that it can do, and the balance
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: is tough as a parent, because there were so many
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: times if my son was younger.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I'd be like, just pick up the iPad, watch it.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: I gotta do laundry, right No, I get it. We're
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: all trying to survive right now. For sure, guys. Grand
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Prairie will be the third city in North Texas to
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: get a white Castle. The announcement came yesterday. The new
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: white Castle will be located in Epic Central along one
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: sixty one. But if you remember, of course the first

- 1:01:49Speaker 2: the Colony. They broke ground on that in June, and
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: then right after that they were like, here's another one
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: in Fort Worth. Yeah, get excited for that. So they're
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: just popping up everywhere.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: If you don't know White Castle, I mean I grew

- 1:02:21Speaker 5: They're good, but yeah, it tastes better for whatever reason.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: I don't know if this is science, but it tastes
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: better when you're hammered.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Yeah, isn't everything.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I'm just throwing that out there.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: By the way, they haven't said when the Grand Prairie
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Win is going to open just yet, but I will
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: definitely keep you posted. You just mentioned Waterburger. They're actually
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: kicking off their seventy sixth anniversary celebration at today. So

- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Yeah, So next Wednesday it'll be another deal and then
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: I think there's more seventy six cent deals coming.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: That's my go to though, even if it's not breakfast. Yeah,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I love a what a Burger teketo for sure?
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: For sure, guys. A celebrity edition of The Voice Well

- 1:03:35Speaker 5: I think it's something different. I would love to see
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: celebrities competing if you don't know who they are.

- 1:04:43Speaker 5: oh god, go for it.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: So here's the thing I share Custo, your mate, your
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: old son with my ex wife, and so for the
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: last few years he's been obsessed with Pokemon cards. Honestly,
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: it's like our thing that we do together. We go
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: to the card shows together and hit up local shops
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: and I've even stood in line with them outside of shop,
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: like because we knew there was new cars coming in
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: and you know, we trade with other collectors and spent
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: a time going through the binders getting everything organized. It's
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: really you know, some of my favorite memories with that
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: kid or because of those cards.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I love that.
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's great, and we actually built a pretty incredible collection.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: You know, he's got some that are pretty rare. I
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: don't know how much you guys know about Pokemon cards.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Some of them are you know. Yeah, so all together
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: that collection is worth like a few thousand bucks. Oh yeah,
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: for real, Here comes the This is the tough part.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: I I pond his Pokemon collection.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: No, I mean, well, I mean if I.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: Need that money, I've hit some really hard times financially,
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: and I you know, I share custody. I have to
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: be able to provide. You know, my hours got cut
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: back to work and I'm behind on bills. It just
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: feels like every week something goes wrong. Like I just
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: feel like I'm about to get my head above water
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: and then oh I need new tires, you.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Know, No, I get it, Like my all my mail is.
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: Like overdue notices and so I'm just I'm trying to
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: keep the trains running over here, you know what I mean.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: I'm the dad and I got to keep the lights one.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: So I didn't sell them. I you know, I took
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: them to pawn shop and I got the loan against him,
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: and my plan is to pay back and.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Get them, you know, Okay, you know.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: If I don't. If I don't, they're gone.
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: Okay, So you can, okay, I because I'm kind of
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: familiar with that, and I've never really pawned anything I have,
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: So you could put you could take any a watch,
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: you could take. You could take a watch and be like, hey,
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: hold this, give me two hundred bucks cash and I'll
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: come back.
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: They'll make an offer and they'll say, hey, this watch
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: is worth five hundred dollars, right, and then they'll give you.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: You get a loan for that. You've got to pay
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: the loan back, but you got to pay it back
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: in a time of fashion.
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: If you don't, that watch is gone, and those payments
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: that you paid leading up to that gone are gone.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Because I've done it before. You pawn huh upun some
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: tools a long time ago? Were they yours? No? Oh?
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: Great?
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: God?
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: Like the worst part, like the last time we were together.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: He is asked me where the cards were, and so
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: I lied to them. This is part of it.
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: Too.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: I told them they were in a safety deposit pockets
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: at the bank so they wouldn't get damaged or stolen.
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: And he actually was like, he was like, hey, that's
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: a good idea, Dad, And that's just this whole thing.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: I mean, I like that you're doing the best you can. No, No,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: this is I.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: Still have a few weeks and I'm doing everything I
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: can to come up with this money. I've been picking
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: up odd jobs, I've been selling other stuff, and I
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: definitely haven't told my ex wife about this, but yeah,
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: if I don't get those cards back, I mean, it's not.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Just about losing the money.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: It's about losing the one thing that my son and
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: I have sort of built together over the last one
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: tell years.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: There's no way, there's no way you're not gonna if
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: you got to call us back and we got to
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: help you out here, you gotta get this kid's Pokemon
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: cards back, ye, right, man, So you'll get you'll get it.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: You sound like a good dad.
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: I mean, listen, there's a lot of parents who have
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: fallen on struggles.
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I feel a little better talking to
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: you guys, as you can well imagine. It's not my
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: finest hour as a father.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Yeah. I never went through with it.
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: But my oldest son, Chris, he has a big Pokemon collection,
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: really like, yeah, he's got a shar Zard or whatever
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: that character's name. It's worth about twenty five hundred by itself,
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: that one card.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Where's that right now? Did you no? No, it's it's
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: with him. It's with him. Good And you never sold
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: it when he was no.
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: But there were some times I was like, WHOA, but
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: I did. I never knew about him. You know, they
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: became a real popular what you're saying, if you knew
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: it was worth that, there's some nights of lights would
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: have been instead of lighting candles.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: All right, thank you, sars are well, sir.
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: Let us keep us in the loop on what happens
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: and we'll we'll make sure that he doesn't lose his
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: Pokemon cards.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Thanks guys. Who if you get your hands on that.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Yeah, send it his way. Yeah that one car.
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: Well, let us know, Okay, it happened sometimes though I
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: told you earlier, my dad did the same thing to
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: me now in Pokemon cards. He did it with everything.
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: Though he did it to my grandma, you know, the
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: end of her life. She was in a wheelchair. She
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: couldn't really walk around, and he pondered a wheelchair He.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: He did, You're awful.

- 1:10:25Speaker 5: boyfriend an ultimatum about something.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Oh kind of sorta.
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: From what I'm understanding, and it's it's not gonna be good.
