- 0:03Network. Hello, and welcome to episode one hundred and ninety eight. Hello

- 0:52That's why. One and ninety eight times place to see you with just about
- 0:56anything, because fuck you. Toronto is why. Let's believe not an entire
- 1:00city of Canadians because fuck you tarantulas. Why why Well, we won't.
- 1:12Hey there, we're just having a normal episode. It is just the three
- 1:18of us. We could have invited people, we didn't. It's been an
- 1:22extremely tiring and uh yeah yeah, extremely tiring, extremely tiring and month.
- 1:32I think overall, I caught COVID that was fun. Yeah, COVID's fun.
- 1:38Yeah, no, it it sucked to be on the telling of it
- 1:41and I would not wish it on anyone ever. And I had the light
- 1:45version, like it wasn't even bad COVID light. Yeah. I had COVID
- 1:49light version, which is like it's like extremely strong fever for like two full
- 1:55days and then and then just like light cold system, the symptoms for two
- 2:02weeks after that. That kind of sucked. You didn't have to sleep in
- 2:06a shower for three days, so your covers differently, I mean, but
- 2:16that's because I didn't get my COVID shot of my flu shot at the same
- 2:20time, and then go to literally the day before going to Vegas. Get
- 2:27stranger talk about gambling and losing pressive. Let's get on with it. He's
- 2:34a gamer in a storyteller, and he's my young well he was my youngest
- 2:37friend. Now I don't know what to call him. It's hoggy what to
- 2:53call him. Indeed, Hey, so as as this is a after good,
- 3:01we've all we've all gotten a chance to do Christmas. My Christmas came
- 3:06late this year again due to illness. But what word? What did you
- 3:10get from Santa this year? Not COVID only one special Let's see here what
- 3:20did I get from this year? I got a stepfather and new snow thrower.
- 3:28Oh very cool. Yeah, it was way more wholesome than here under
- 3:37the tree. Did you have to do a ribbon? Yeah? Was oddly
- 3:45place. Hello son. I don't know why he decided to get wrapped in
- 3:52that pose, but yeah, he is, you know, kind of just
- 3:53you know, like French. Paint me like that French girl in their own
- 3:58thing. I guess. Well, good for you. Yeah, I hope
- 4:00you enjoyed the snow thrower. Snow thrower. Well it's is it blower or
- 4:05thrower? Did you tell me it's yours not mine? I don't know asking,
- 4:14So get back to us and be a don't This episode sponsored by John
- 4:21Deere. John, he's a veteran and a podcaster. Dear John. Uh,
- 4:38it's gonna be weird getting a John Deere letter. Oh yeah, John
- 4:43Deere, I'm leaving you. You're a tractor. He's a veteran and a
- 4:51podcaster, and he's absolutely insane. It's Stevie. Yes, it's weird assholes.
- 5:01It's weird ass that's me. That's me, a weird ass Stevie,
- 5:13because you that's me a weird asshole. Yeah, exactly, Stevie. What
- 5:17it's saying to get you for Christmas this year? It's so much awesomeness,
- 5:20Like, seriously, there's a lot of good things. I was looking for
- 5:24specific specifics. I got a box of jelly beans. Now these aren't just
- 5:29some regular jelly beans. They were the special assortment of jelly beans. There
- 5:32was sixteen different flavors in there. They were fucking Gormet jelly Beansda Santa,
- 5:41Thank you, Sarah, Like you knew there was only two in there,
- 5:44because I like the black ones, the ones. I love those things.
- 5:47There's another one right before that camera. What they were I'm not a fan
- 5:50of, but I'm still gonna eat them, you know, jelly beans.
- 5:55But yeah, fucking amazing. Like the food was huge, like just hanging
- 6:00now, like I was just like, I'm happy, there's food, it's
- 6:02warm, there's Christmas stuff on TV. Yeah, yeah it was nice.
- 6:08I got. I got a bunch of cool stuff. Got a motorcycle cover,
- 6:11but just sitting over there, not on the motorcycle snowing out. Yeah
- 6:14no, that's fine. Smart but you know, cool and smart, cool
- 6:17small things man, which made everybody child very cool. Hell's yeah, very
- 6:23cool. And finally I am your host, Pantil seron some stones for a
- 6:39lap or two. It's him in the studio today. For me, I
- 6:48got some shirts. You're nice. I got like an Amazon gift cards.
- 6:54I still don't know what to spend it on. Cool something for you,
- 6:58sir, Yeah yeah, and maybe one of those gaming books I like so
- 7:01much that I haven't read in a while. But I also got a pair
- 7:06of really cool handheld gaming systems. A pair of them too, who on
- 7:14different? No, they're different. I got ones like a vertical like game
- 7:17Boy screen on top and the buttons on the bottom. And I got one
- 7:20that's landscape with the buttons on either side like the game Boy Advance. Yes,
- 7:25pretty much good call. They're both under one hundred dollars, but they're
- 7:30both strangely powerful. Like one is capable of doing everything up to like Dreamcast
- 7:38and PlayStation and PSP. Just fine, Wow, it could probably, it
- 7:42could probably do some GameCube games even if I pushed it, But I'm currently
- 7:47not pushing it. I'm just just enjoying the stuff that's on there. And
- 7:54the other one is similar, very I haven't I haven't tested as much as
- 7:58it can do as much as the first one. I literally just had my
- 8:01Christmas two days ago, so I've barely dipped into the surface of what that
- 8:05one can do. But hopefully when I get some time, if that ever
- 8:09happens, if I'm not constantly behind on everything, I will get a chance
- 8:16to explore that. But yeah, and the last thing I got is a
- 8:20reproduction of a Sega Saturn game called Police nots Now. This game was only
- 8:26released in Japan, but it's extremely popular because the guy who made it also
- 8:31went on after this to make Middle Gear Solid. Oh this is like,
- 8:37yeah, it's like a third or fourth thing. But it never released in
- 8:41the States. It only released in Japan, but it has been translated into
- 8:45English and then it was burned to CD. It has labels on the CDs.
- 8:50It's in a case like it's fully professionally done. It's a reproduction,
- 8:54so it's not an actual like legal copy so I speak. But if I
- 8:58want to play the game, I'm gonna have a much easier time of it
- 9:01now than like setting up an emulator telling it that, you know, here's
- 9:05a list of three discs I can switch between blah blah blah blah blah and
- 9:09making sure it's the translated ones and YadA YadA, And it's kind of a
- 9:11nightmare to do, whereas now I could just set up my Saturn and put
- 9:16discs in and actually play it like an actual of Saturn game. Oh oh
- 9:18yeahs cool. It's basically like lethal Weapon in Space. No, yeah,
- 9:24yeah, it's pretty funny. It's it's pretty funny. It's pretty funny how
- 9:28lethal Weapon it is, like the main character has like long it's supposed to
- 9:33be a black but it's like blue hair, and he's got like, you
- 9:35know, the the leather like sports jacket on, and his partner is this
- 9:41aging black gentleman. Yeah, it's it's very obviously lethal weapon inspired. So
- 9:46funny, so funny. And then there's similar sequences too, Like I remember
- 9:52there's a sequence you're disarming a bump and the two of them are bickering back
- 9:54and forth, and I'm like, Jeeves, did he just like copy the
- 9:58movie? Perhaps it's it's it's a it's a it's a fun game that just
- 10:03didn't get here to the States. So I just put it on my Amazon
- 10:09wish list just to see if someone would get it for me, and they
- 10:11did so. Yeah, so I'm going to enjoy that. That's very sounds
- 10:16awesome. Yeah, this is very cool. So I'm excited about it.
- 10:20But yeah, let's give a Christmas present to our listeners, shall we.
- 10:26Let's play some games and have some fun. Yeah, oh that grip.
- 10:30Okay, thank god. If we give them all the time, it's pretty
- 10:33funny. They do enjoy it, but yeah, they do, right right,
- 10:39leave a voicemail let us know, give us something. Uh, we're
- 10:50gonna We're gonna play three silly games. We're gonna start with an oldie,
- 10:54but a goodie. It is like a share block block. I've got three
- 11:00news stories here, and all our players need to do is tell me which
- 11:03one I would like, which one I would share, and which one I
- 11:05would block on social media. Uh. The player who is closest to the
- 11:09correct set will win the game and earn one episode point. Cool. So
- 11:15story number one Chinese chess master's bathtub poop proves he didn't use anal beads to
- 11:22cheat. Oh, such extremes, just to prove you're not cheating on somebody.
- 11:26This genuinely was the first story I saw on the website that I go
- 11:31to to get my stories, and I did not even get to the article
- 11:37before I started laughing my eyes. This is kind of a retread of an
- 11:41older story we did where someone was accused of using anal beads to cheat at
- 11:45Yeah. Yes, yeah, they were using like a vibrantor or whatever for
- 11:48the movie. Yes yeah in Morris code vibrates. So recently, a recent
- 11:54Chinese chess champion, Yan Cheng Long as forty eight years old. He won
- 12:00the national Chinese Chess Amateur competition final on December seventeenth. Mean, well,
- 12:07he won. He won prize money of roughly like fourteen thousand dollars. Now
- 12:16he was he was Rumors were flying around that he was cheating using anal beads,
- 12:22which is the popular thing to accuse people of nowadays. Amazing. But
- 12:33and this this is where the story gets weird. This is where it gets
- 12:37weird. Humorously enough, what after After checking out of his hotel the next
- 12:43day, an employee reported that they'd found poop in his tub. He'd apparently
- 12:48taken a bath, taking a ship and left it there. So what kind
- 12:56of asshole? Well, obviously all person does that to somebody. He's like,
- 13:03even if you're met at the hotel, I want a chess, I
- 13:07can poop wherever I want. I'm the king, check me. So he
- 13:16apparently celebrated by you know, drinking a lot with others in his room,
- 13:22and then he ship in the bathtub and act that. According to the the
- 13:28Chess Organization in China, damaged hotel property, violated public order and good morals.
- 13:33They stripped him of his title, provoked his prize money, and banned
- 13:37him from playing for a year and basically like just fucked him over completely just
- 13:48for shitting in a tub. I mean he has denied the allegations, claiming
- 13:52that he suffered from diarrhea after drinking alcohol and couldn't make it to the toilet
- 13:56in time. That's fine, Son't explain why you didn't clean it up or
- 14:01didn't say anything, you know, or didn't say anything. Someone someone,
- 14:05some poor hotel employee had to find it. Yes, that's wrong. That's
- 14:09just yeah wrong. At least if you said something there would have been sympathy
- 14:13or it was like three hundred dollars on the nightstand after right, without an
- 14:18apology, no being like listen, I was sick. I don't have gloves
- 14:22to clean it up. So this was it. This was a follow up
- 14:30to the to the the story about Hans Nieman who was was accused of using
- 14:35analb's to cheat, and he he categorically denied using the sex toy to cheat
- 14:41and they settled a hundred million dollars lawsuit over it. Wow. That Yeah,
- 14:48this is the original guy, not the new one. He might have
- 14:50his own lawsuit. Beats code beats Mar's code beat. Do you think it's
- 14:56actually Morri's code, or do you think that because he's inside you and so
- 15:01close to your spinal cord, because your tailbone's there, it can actually talk
- 15:03and you can actually hear because it's vibrating up your spine. My brain just
- 15:09shut down. We need we need audio projecting anal beads people, once you
- 15:13can get right up against your tailbone. Anyway, let me know, long
- 15:16story short. People people have claimed that the poop proves he couldn't have cheeted,
- 15:22since if he had anal beads up there, the poo would have been
- 15:24extremely compacted and would not be coming out for some time. However, he
- 15:33wasn't accused of doing that, and in fact, the the the the the
- 15:39Chess Association in China has basically not done anything about the rumors of anal beads.
- 15:45They're just ignoring that they're their penalty. They're penalizing him. Had everything
- 15:48to do with just pooping in the tub and lea right, which is fair?
- 15:52Which is fair? Like yeah, like the whole anal beads have said,
- 16:00this is coming from me, someone who once vomited in a hotel bathroom
- 16:03and did not know about it and therefore left it behind for someone else.
- 16:07To take care of. Again. In my defense, I had thought I
- 16:11made it all into the toilet. I was extremely drunk anyway, So I
- 16:17completely understand. I completely understand this dude's plight. Sometimes you just drink so
- 16:22much that you don't know what you're doing anyway. Accountability for your actions,
- 16:30yeah, no, Accountability is fair, is fair. Let's move on to
- 16:33story number two. Okay, let's have something lighter, shall we. Yeah?
- 16:37Yeah, and eleven year old steals a Virginian DoorDash driver's car at gunpoint.
- 16:42Whoa a super sulker. So a nurse in Chesterfield started delivering for DoorDash
- 16:51to supplement her income. That's said that a nurse need her income. And
- 16:56she showed up for the door Dash and dropped off in order an apartment complex
- 17:00when she was approached by a kid who pointed a gun at her and asked
- 17:06for her keys. Wow. She tried to talk her way out of it,
- 17:12and another kid from behind her yelled for the other one to get in.
- 17:17Oh shit, because apparently he had had like hot wired it or something.
- 17:23What the fuck? And and she basically ignored the gun like kind of
- 17:30bravely, you know, she was like she was like Are you serious You're
- 17:33gonna kill somebody at your age? She's actually trying to talk him down right,
- 17:37it's pretty brave. It's pretty brave with a gun in your face.
- 17:41I gotta say yea. But the other one yelled at the eleven year old
- 17:45to get into the car, and the story has a kind of bittersweet ending.
- 17:52They didn't make it very far. She got a call from the police
- 17:56later on that day, say founder car, it had been totaled. She
- 18:03had just finished paying it off two months prior. Listen, this is why
- 18:11you have insurance, and hopefully she does. Yeah, why is eleven year
- 18:17old strapped? Police took the kids into custody because their kids probably ain't gonna
- 18:23have much happened to them. If if hockey, they might try as an
- 18:27adult. But I mean eleven is pretty young, and they've done it before.
- 18:33They have but I mean they've done much worse. They've done before before,
- 18:38but they've died before. Yeah, so fun stuff all right now,
- 18:45Now, now let's have something lighter for real. Story number three. The
- 18:52story number three mafia boss busted by his shirtless pool side photo, is defiant
- 18:59in court, saying it was a great picture. Yeah, the mobster named
- 19:07Ralph de Matteo, sixty years old, appearing in court for his sentencing,
- 19:12asked if he had any second thoughts about posing for the for the for the
- 19:17camera, He's scoffed. He goes, why, it was a great picture.
- 19:22He got caught. Honestly, this like this is my favorite. Like
- 19:27honestly, He's like, I don't care that I got caught. It was
- 19:30a great picture. It's worth it. This picture is worth me going.
- 19:34He's fine with it. He's sitting in a pool, floating or some shit.
- 19:38No, he's standing. He half submerged in the swimming pool. He's
- 19:42got a gold cruise fix around his neck. Course he does. And he's
- 19:47just standing there. You know, he's got his gut hanging out. He's
- 19:51not exactly thin, but he's not exactly fat either. He's just kind of
- 19:53fat bod and he's just kind of like, yeah, I'm too cool for
- 19:57school, looking like I would have love staring straight at the camera at the
- 20:02photo with him with like float he's on like just like goggles goggles float.
- 20:10He's in the defense trying to like tread water in his defense. I mean,
- 20:14he does look pretty cool. He's like he's like, yeah, what's
- 20:17going on. I don't know if you've seen it. Here's the pictures.
- 20:19Oh yeah, definitely he's crazy, dude. Yeah, he's just chilling.
- 20:29He's just chilling. He's like, yeah, what you're going to do a
- 20:33great time. This is going to get me put in jail later, but
- 20:34you know what, it's worth it. It looks good. So they found
- 20:37him. Hey, as long as they don't say ship. None. Ship
- 20:41happened to me. It was like posted online. It had like a GPS
- 20:44tag ad it or some ship. I don't know how it happened. He
- 20:48was I believe he was supposed to be in Florida something like that. He
- 20:55was supposed to be in Florida. I couldn't leave the state type Yeah it
- 20:57was not or no, no, he was supposed to be in Florida or
- 21:00something like and yeah, and the he flew there a day before he was
- 21:07going to get charged in New York. But his cover was blown when his
- 21:14son posted the photo to Twitter, and the rest is his history. He
- 21:22would wind up surrendering like a day later, he turned himself in. Well,
- 21:30he's probably fine. He basically he basically arranged for a plea deal.
- 21:37He's he's he's he's aging out of the crime family business. He's sixty eight
- 21:41years old. So they're not exactly throwing the book at him, but they're
- 21:48not happy about it either because he tried to quote unquote tried to run,
- 21:52you know whatever. I don't know what is true or what is not,
- 21:56but I do think it's funny that he's like, yeah, he got me
- 21:59thrown into but it's a great picture. It's a great picture. You agree,
- 22:03you like it, you know, you see it. So that's very
- 22:06funny with me. I like it anyway, very very Italian, mom boss,
- 22:11Yeah, just just like, yeah, it was Italian. It got
- 22:14me caught. But I mean, look at me. I look great.
- 22:17Look at me. Look at me. I looked great. Did I tell
- 22:23you to look at me? Oh yeah, I did them a pizza?
- 22:34Your stories of like I someoneed into a red thread. I can't remember what
- 22:38the question was. I think it was like an ask credit of like,
- 22:41have you ever walked into a bad situation and immediately realized you screwed up?
- 22:47And somebody posted a story about how they walked into this Italian restaurant they'd never
- 22:51heard of, uh and checked it out and they were the only ones there
- 22:55aside from very large, very heavy men who all kept looking at them,
- 22:59just kind of staring at them in confusion. Eventually, an old Italian woman
- 23:03came out and asked what they wanted to eat. They ordered, they got
- 23:07their food. The food was incredible, apparently, but they were not given
- 23:11a bill, and so they just left it. They were like it was
- 23:18it was very clearly affront that's awesome, but they had no idea they were.
- 23:23They were like chists or something. Yeah, it's so it's just really
- 23:26funny of like those mobs are just kind of staring there, like what do
- 23:30we do with these guys? Sounds, and then the other mobs like just
- 23:34get on, get it, get it to cook something. Fine, But
- 23:41yeah, was the stand up part of the story for me. It was
- 23:44like they were like the food was incredible. Then you're like, oh man,
- 23:48it'd almost be worth it to go there anyway over and with all these
- 23:57all right, so those are my three stories. Uh, you got to
- 24:02figure out what combination of like share block I applied to those three news stories.
- 24:06Okay, uh, and whoever is the correct or most correct will win?
- 24:11Uh, Okie, I'm gonna make you go first. Mostly because fox
- 24:14Stevie fu stev for the holidays. Please fuck me for holiday. Please his
- 24:23addresses one O four West one four, please go to his apartment and fuck
- 24:30him, especially if you're a twenty dollars member of our patreon. Yeah,
- 24:34it's oh do you I gotta get that twenty dollars. Oh man, hold
- 24:52on. Anyways, So what I what I had is I believe because just
- 25:02because it's it's got, it can't be coincidence that this has gotta be a
- 25:08because it is a follow up to the previous story about antal beads. I
- 25:11would think that you would share this just because it has kind of like a
- 25:17thread of events that you can trace back to all this shit. So now
- 25:22there's like some weird conspiracy that in chests. Now everybody's got like shit shoved
- 25:26up their heads. Yes, yeah, right, it's gonna be a thing.
- 25:30I mean every chess Chess tournaments are going to start having like doctors with
- 25:33gloves and you have to get inspected before you can go have your match.
- 25:37You have to visit a product, you have to visit a bloctologists within twenty
- 25:41four hours match. That's fine. Yes, I think that you'd block the
- 25:48nurse cars, just because that's just depressing that there's just young kids getting hand
- 25:52in their hands on firearms and robbing people, robbing nurses no less who have
- 26:00to work a second job just to pay their way. It's like you can't
- 26:06ignore it, but at least in this case you could. So I'd say
- 26:10block that and then and then like the mafia boss photo just because it's it's
- 26:14funny. I get it. As someone from an Italian family, I get
- 26:18it. It is pretty funny, and just be like getting caught, be
- 26:22like, oh, what are you talking about? You talk about I look
- 26:23great in that pictures, look like my great great grandfather. All right,
- 26:29Stevie, you are allowed to keep one of his, but you must switch
- 26:32the other two or you can go entirely your own way. What do you
- 26:33want to do. It's so difficult because he made some really good choices,
- 26:38and I'm scared that he might have got it. I'm telling you, the
- 26:41anal beet is a conspiracy. Well, you want to share the pooh?
- 26:45Yeah, you always you gotta share the poo, So I'm going to stick
- 26:48with sharing the pooh as well. Okay, pooh is for me. I
- 26:55can't no, I can't. I gotta scratch it. I can't share the
- 26:57poo this time. I just can't. I can't see him blocking the mob
- 27:02boss. But if you like it, I'll share the mob boss instead,
- 27:07and then I will block the kid as well, kids stealing the car as
- 27:12well, and you will like the chess pooh. Okay, So instead of
- 27:17sharing the poo, like it, you're just gonna like it, just liking
- 27:19it. Okay. It's a bold strategy, I know, but it paid
- 27:22off because you're absolutely right exactly what I did. Not share the pooh.
- 27:33I'm like, it's it's a retread. It's a retread of a story we've
- 27:37heard before. So the best you can really get is a like the mafia
- 27:41boss thing made me laugh, genuinely made me laughing. What I'm going to
- 27:45jail. But it's fine. Look at his picture, his picture, my
- 27:49kids, right, you got to say just a twitter, you know,
- 27:57and I look good. I like it. Yeah, it just it just
- 28:03makes me laugh. I adore that quite a bit. And yes, of
- 28:06course I blocked the eleven year old steering the car. I mean, if
- 28:10you think about it now, it's much harder for her to get to her
- 28:12nurse job. And she can't do her DoorDash job because she's out of a
- 28:17box. So she is. I mean, insurance is going to pay her
- 28:22for the vehicle, but I mean it sucks. It sucks, so yeah,
- 28:26and I feel bad for her. So I hope she gets everything she
- 28:30needs taken care of. So agreed, and she gets the house that she's
- 28:33trying to. I hope those kids get the help get their lives turned around
- 28:38very quickly. Yeah all right, so that is one point to Stevie.
- 28:42Nothing doggy yet, but hey, it's still early. Game two is coming
- 28:45up. Game two is gonna be worth two episode points, and we're going
- 28:48to play that game right after this. I'm Richie aka Midnight Agent Raw.
- 29:02I'm Devin aka Special Delivery Dev. We're the Supermedia Bros. Podcast and each

- 29:17Com, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or anywhere else that you can listen to
- 29:21podcasts. Shades on We're off. Hey man, welcome back. So amen,
- 29:42men, what up? Man? I wish I could do the shaggy
- 29:45voice. Hey man, I stole it. From Kevin Smith. He opens
- 29:49everything with hey manure, So anyway, h do we have any Patreon comments
- 29:59or things of look, yeah, look at it. I'm like staring at
- 30:06the camera style, I'm like, why are you staring at me? Epis
- 30:12Yes. The George Santo single Ladies Drag Show. We had two comments on
- 30:18there. Casey, one of our occasional guests and frequent contributor. Yeah,
- 30:26I said, sorry I missed this one, but glad we got to introduce
- 30:29K number one to the podcast next time, the trifecta. Yeah, And
- 30:32as I said during the break, I don't know that it's such a good
- 30:34idea to invite the KKK and both of these boys just went what I had
- 30:42to explain, not the actual, which is good because they're not good.
- 30:49It's good. Not Casey and Kristen are all sisters. Yes, your names
- 30:56all beginning with K. Anyway, it's like a theme. Yes. Moving
- 30:59on. On the same episode, had comment from William M A very funny
- 31:06show, A very fun show. Awesome, thank you, thank you sir.
- 31:11See if we got anymore, well, I think we got more conference
- 31:15too. This is awesome. Was this on the last mini app epis Yeah,
- 31:22video that was a lot of fun. That was wise. That was
- 31:25really cool is to Crunch and the h If you haven't seen that one,
- 31:29I highly recommend that one. It's definitely my top five. It is.
- 31:33It is a lot of fun coming up with prompts and then seeing what you
- 31:36guys do with them. Oh my gosh, always a delight. Sometimes I
- 31:40know what I'm gonna get. Like I knew exactly how the tiny man falling
- 31:42down the stairs was gonna come out of you. I knew exactly what you
- 31:45were going to do. It didn't make it any less funny, but I
- 31:48knew it was coming. Yeah, But I what I was not ready for
- 31:52and you weren't ready for either was the who Wolf? What Wolf? And
- 31:55why Wolf? Almost woke me there and I'm just like, well, I
- 32:04know what I have to do. I knew what I had to do,
- 32:08couldn't do it, could not do it. That first one, I was
- 32:12like, we did the thing, and I'm like, this is too fucking
- 32:16good. It was so good it's too funny to definitely check it out.
- 32:21So yeah, episode is definitely a highlight, and the video version on Patreon
- 32:25is so awesome. You get the seat us all crack up like this all
- 32:30the time. We had a couple of comments on that. One. Kristen
- 32:34f which constant contributor and huge supporter of the show, said, such a
- 32:38fun episode. Game two had me laughing so hard, which was an improbable
- 32:44one. The snacks they sent us eating some of them we should be eating
- 32:47so well, not on Mike right, not on Mike. Next break,
- 32:50next break. Yeah, we're going to get into something to turn this to
- 32:52an as MR podcast. Okay, you know what it's gonna be recorded.
- 32:57Anybody, If any of y'all like the asmtter stuff, let me know,
- 33:00will I will put that up as a separate thing. So I'm not going
- 33:02to do that to people. Also, we had another comment from David M.
- 33:07I love the improv. Everyone was great. More please? Okay,
- 33:10So that game absolutely was got to be back again. So if that's happening,
- 33:15that means I need to smoke less weed those days or more or more?
- 33:22I mean, I guess we'll go more. Yeah, I guess more
- 33:23would not be a ban? Was the really the detrimental part was? Or
- 33:29did you just like have nothing? Well? I think the weed contributed to
- 33:35me having nothing. It's the problem. I thought you were great honestly,
- 33:38aw well, thank you. It was a lot of fun though. It's
- 33:40just like that. Yeah, when you get caught, it's a hard But
- 33:45the other new thing on for our b FY t W stuff is we do
- 33:49have a TikTok, so follow us on TikTok as well. We do many
- 33:52little clippings of the shows right now when we do our trips and our live
- 33:58shows and stuff like that. Obviously I'll be putting things together for that,
- 34:00so it's small but hopefully growing. Yes, yeah, yeah, and I'm
- 34:05sharing it as much as they can. Awesome, man, it's fun.
- 34:07It's fun doing right. It's a good time. So I believe that's all
- 34:10the comments and voicemails and whatnot. So let's get to the game. Game
- 34:15two is going to be Pitch Me Baby one more time. I Am going
- 34:17to give our players control of a media icon or property and ask them to
- 34:22give me a pitch, and whichever pitch I like best will win the game
- 34:24and earn two points. This month is the twenty fifth anniversary of the founding
- 34:30of rock Star Games, which is primarily known for the creation and development of
- 34:36the Grand Theft Auto Games and their studios have developed other original series like Red
- 34:40dead manhun Bully, The Warriors, Smugglers Run, and Midnight Club. But
- 34:45with the announcement of Grand Theft Auto six, it's clear they're going back to
- 34:50their cash cow. It's beyond time for them to come out with a new
- 34:53ip. So I want you to pitch me Rockstar Games next ari open world
- 35:00game. I want to know who you play as, what kind of open
- 35:05world you'll play in, and describe the general plot of the game. If
- 35:08you have some gameplay ideas, throw them in as well. Obviously you're going
- 35:13to want to avoid repeating ideas, so an open world game set in the
- 35:16wild West is not going to earn you any points. Best pitch wins Now
- 35:23you lost less game. So you have the choice do you want to go
- 35:25first or second? I want to go second. Okay, fuck and Cebee.
- 35:30You have to go first, sir. So when you're ready, pitch
- 35:35me. Pitch me. You better pitch me hard. Gentlemen on the board
- 35:42here at Rockstar I think our next biggest video game franchise that we're going to
- 35:47pitch to you guys, and I think this is going to bring in so
- 35:51much money and bring back a little nostalgia for the current gamers right now,
- 35:55well the adult gamers once you have that income to who can spend the month
- 36:00on this, And I'm going to pitch to you rock stars rockstar So you
- 36:06play as a rocker, a punk rocker named Slate who's in an open world
- 36:12obviously as we do here a rock star we have open world practically everything.
- 36:16But you're playing as a rock star or a rocker who has to not only
- 36:21build his band up, but he's got to check out venues throughout the cities
- 36:23and stuff. So there's multiple cities you can actually travel to. There's gonna
- 36:28be other punk bands that will rival you. You'll have the the capability of
- 36:31driving around doing missions that way as well, you can do charity shows to
- 36:36get some extra like like I don't say same, but yeah, reputation,
- 36:42and then you can do the other gigs from next You're gonna pick up more
- 36:45through that and there as well. It'll start in the eighties, so at
- 36:50the punk era of the eighties, and then it actually can't transition up to
- 36:54the current time, so you have the ability to have it transition to current
- 36:59time along with the ability which i'd hope because we talk about this a lot
- 37:04I know we talk about this a lot in the show. With video games,
- 37:07I'm hoping for later on a collaboration with one of the developers of either
- 37:13I don't know who did. I don't think anybody did anything with Rockstar but
- 37:15the rock Band or Guitar Hero people to where you have the ability to actually
- 37:21jump on there with your friends and play again. So it would have a
- 37:23four player online co op open world, but not open like PvP world would
- 37:30be, so you can rock around with your friends, either just in the
- 37:32game or if you have the capability to connect the new instruments, I'd like
- 37:37you can actually play again like we used to do. And yeah, COVID's
- 37:39around, we know, and it's still fucking here and it does hit everybody.
- 37:44Still, What a better way to still be able to play rock band
- 37:46and stuff with your friends than be able to do this with your four player
- 37:51or probably be able to sixties of the singers and stuff co op if was
- 37:54a band. But you can have your open world game where you're going through
- 37:58doing all these things, little concerts, doing missions, gaining rep and you
- 38:02can customize your character how you want your instrument if you want a specific one
- 38:07versus you're just a singer or something like that. You're not just a front
- 38:10man if you want to, like I love bass because that's what I fucking
- 38:13play or some shit. Fine, you can special tune or due just to
- 38:15fucking rock on on base and ship with all your stats and that, like
- 38:20you have a capability of doing all this stuff, but instead of like trying
- 38:23to just like beat the crap out of people and shoot them in like a
- 38:25GTA type of thing, which is a great game. But some people aren't
- 38:29there for the violence. They're there for this open world fun and I think
- 38:32rock Stars Rockstar would bring that. Okay, it's a bit on the nose
- 38:37rock Stars Rockstar, And I question what the missions would be like. There
- 38:45could be a few, obviously, like the you could do the racing miss
- 38:49anything with the vehicles you could still obviously, do you got your rock vand
- 38:52or something you had to get you a bunch of ra like yeah, like
- 38:54you have to race the band van like yeah, I guess the other bands
- 39:00say you roll up to a freaking like country band and they want to roll
- 39:02against you, and yeah, and you're gonna have a battle, like I
- 39:08mean, I was playing, I having like a Battle of the Bands thing
- 39:10set up. It's like an intro, like this is your intro into the
- 39:14game. You're just doing these small little missions in this area of this small
- 39:17suburb, and that's it, and then it ends with Battle of the Bands
- 39:21and then it opens up the rest of the world to you so you can
- 39:23get your van. Now, you guys want to Battle of the Band.
- 39:25You progressed you got some money to get yourself a van. Cool, we
- 39:29got a van, guys that we can tour outside the city and stuff,
- 39:31and then from there you do your games and things like that, just play
- 39:35these little shows. I don't know. I thought it was fun things like
- 39:37that you could do. I want to do, ah, I almost want
- 39:42to do an ICP freaking a bash room where you go through with like your
- 39:47instruments and just go through and just starts wrecking stuff and you have to like
- 39:51almost a destruction point limit, like you had to get this much destruction points
- 39:54in. That's much time. But that was the punk part. So I'm
- 39:58not not finished, but that's my baseline for the game. Wow, okay,
- 40:06very cool. I like it. It's definitely got potential for sure.
- 40:10I don't know if the rock band or guitar hero thing has passed us by
- 40:15at this point, but I do miss it for sure, and I know
- 40:19I can't be the only one, right, so I know I'm here.
- 40:22I'm one of them for sure. We were talking about it last night.
- 40:23So that leaves you. What pitch have you got for me? Sir?
- 40:29All right? So my pitch for you would be that rock Star does a
- 40:35collab with BioWare and they do a rock Star esque mass effect game, completely
- 40:49completely centralized, and I reimagine Citadel, Okay, re imagine such to obviously
- 40:58to accommodate for the grander scale that grand theft Auto I like would be.
- 41:06And yeah, you would play a character of which you get to choose the
- 41:10race of you know, a sorry or human or whatever Garris was I can't
- 41:15remember, Tian, yes, uh and yeah, and you would go through
- 41:24and just like how on this is? Yeah, yeah, all that stuff
- 41:30that I can't remember, because that would be super fun. I want to
- 41:37know how that would work, Like, how would that mechanically? That would
- 41:42work? I saw Blasto that's fair so yeah, Hannah and all that,
- 41:49and yeah, it would just be like you would go through, Yeah,
- 41:52there's there's crime, there's gangs and stuff like that fill you full of holes
- 41:57and then there would be like easter eggs like that. Like you'd go to
- 42:00like a strip club on the Citadel and you walk in and just goes,
- 42:02peep peep. My name is Kamanda Sheppard and this is my favorite strip club
- 42:07on everywhere you go, that one line, I've Commanda Shephard, this is
- 42:15my favorite liquor store. I'm gonna god damn it. That guy got around
- 42:21and that's it just just grand theft auto. But in Mass Effect, yeah,
- 42:25using the Mass Effect world, but use it combining their mechanics for that
- 42:30basically allowing you to explore the interaction between the alien races that were on the
- 42:37Citadel. Now, would you still be a criminal or would you be I
- 42:42feel like to kind of really give because in Mass Effect you you will.
- 42:46I mean, even as a renegade, you still played the hero. So
- 42:50it only makes sense that they kind of give you that more CD Underground kind
- 42:55of play. So that way you got to experience the other side, Like
- 43:00all the heroes are going out doing the heroes off and saving the world.
- 43:04Yeah, where were the CD Underground doing in the meantime that we're kind of
- 43:07you know, small pickings compared to what the hell was going on out there?
- 43:10Yeah, okay, interesting, all right, so I like it.
- 43:16I like it. I'm gonna go ahead and say this might sound mean,
- 43:21but I'd say neither of you really wowed me. Let me ask you something,
- 43:24because I had another pitch. This is what we went with. Okay,
- 43:29this doesn't count. Just Skater Die, the open world version skater Remember
- 43:35that Skater Die game. So I had one and two and I love those
- 43:37games. Were you it was kind of open world a little bit back then.
- 43:40Yeah, god's imagine it really open world where you're just like doing tricks
- 43:45off everything in the world for smaller points, but you go in and actually
- 43:47compete against other skis, like insane lines and you can tricks off helicopters.
- 43:52Yeah, dude, I'm not going to say Tony Hawk, but you know,
- 43:54yeah, yeah, I didn't want to bring him into that. That's
- 43:57why I wanted to. I was like, oh, Skater Die would be
- 43:59fun, like I would. They never did it, but I do.
- 44:01I do enjoy the idea of like a Tony Hawk that's an entire city.
- 44:06Yeah, and there's just lines built into everything everywhere, so you can just
- 44:09do everything, go crazy and do whatever you want you can't get into like
- 44:15the Skate three got some pretty large levels, but even that wasn't like a
- 44:19full city like open world kind of experience, and neither were the Tony Hawk
- 44:23underground games. But it'd be easy to do because look at like you can
- 44:27just take the base engine of Spider Man from PlayStation Yeah, and you can
- 44:30use that and just put a fucking skater skin on it. Yeah. I
- 44:36mean I like both ideas, the rockstar and the skater diet rock stars.
- 44:42I think you might have gone with the stronger one, like like Tony Hawk
- 44:46in an open world is kind of one note, whereas your rock Star you
- 44:50you had a lot of thought put into that so much. Yeah, but
- 44:55I do a door mass effect in the idea of running around the citadel all
- 45:00and like doing all these small you know, small time criminal missions and beating
- 45:06up Volus and taking their lunch money or whatever, taking their credits and whatnot.
- 45:14That could be super fun too. Man, It's I hate making this
- 45:19decision every time. While so, I don't know why I keep picking this
- 45:22game. Why do I keep doing this to myself? Games? There are
- 45:30I guess the one I'd want to play more, sorry is just due to
- 45:35bias, and that would be the mass expect one. I love the mass
- 45:38effactor about what you would like it and getting a chance to explore more.
- 45:43But I feel like I feel like Rockstar Games, like their actual board would
- 45:45have gone with yours. I think they would have gone by because because they
- 45:51could come up with their own I P. And they could work with harmonics
- 45:53or not. Yeah, literally their own thing. They could really literally of
- 46:00the game. They could come up with something better or they can do yeah,
- 46:02they could do. They're big enough that they could set up their own
- 46:07hardware creation. Yeah, that's now I think they have. They have like
- 46:12twelve or sixteen different studios across the fucking world, Like there's a Rockstar Vienna,
- 46:17or there was like Dave Rockstar Offs is like everywhere. It's insane.
- 46:22I've mostly wanted to, like I want to play with everybody again, but
- 46:24I'm like that would be fun. Yeah, like I got to name a
- 46:28band. You gotta go through all balls and stuff. I miss doing open
- 46:31world stuff with friends, like if one of you had pitched me like a
- 46:36purely co op open world experience where you played with two to four people like,
- 46:39I think I would have picked that instantly because that when the few instances
- 46:45I got to play like Saint Roux with somebody where are Among my favorite memories
- 46:50of that game absolutely jumping on a plane while Stevie is still in the menu
- 46:54and him not having a clue the plane is plummeting to me. I think
- 47:02it was on Xbox through sixty and we played it over system Link or something
- 47:07like that. It was super fun that it is. It is on Gog
- 47:12and Steam though, so yeah, the server still are the service still running.
- 47:17I did connect once with Lovelust over the Gog version. I think it
- 47:22was Saints Through four. That's the one where you get like superpowers a co
- 47:28op Yeah, I don't play it. This is a superpower thing. I
- 47:30was like, this is at Saints Row to me, but at the same
- 47:32time it is. It was. It was Saints Row, but now you
- 47:37can really fuck around like you My favorite ability in that game was just running
- 47:42around and having the wind because you're running so fast, it's literally pulling like
- 47:46cars and debris and ship behind you as you ran, and so if you
- 47:51stopped running, like a pile of cars and ship would just fly past you
- 47:55and hit like a building or some shit. I would just laugh hysterically every
- 47:59time. I'll go to be if they made the buildings in that game destructible,
- 48:02No, I don't know, Like that would be cool. And there's
- 48:05a few. Obviously you can't because you need to be able to do shit.
- 48:07But there's ninety percent of the buildings you can't even get into it all
- 48:09in those games. For the blocks, why not make them destructible? Fuck
- 48:14it? Yeah? Cool? Anyway, anyway, we're getting into like the
- 48:17weeds here, like what if stuff like that. But anyway, Augie wins
- 48:22this game. Yeah, it's two points. It is two points to one
- 48:28in August favor. I don't know how this ending is gonna work because our
- 48:31third game, Stevie is going to be in charge. I think I'm gonna
- 48:35win. All right, Well, I guess we'll see. We're gonna find
- 48:39out. We're gonna play game three where Stevie takes over right after this.

- 49:19Yeah, so check out grab the brisket dot com for podcast info, viral
- 49:22social media post, and so much more. Hey man, welcome back.
- 49:37It is time for Game three, and unusually for a normal episode, Stevie's
- 49:43taking over Game three because he's got a rules of the game I call it
- 49:46rig So Stevie will explain as much or as little of the rules of the
- 49:52game as we are allowed to know before we start playing. Stevie take it
- 49:57away, all right, Well, it's obvious you guys don't know the rules
- 50:00of the game. Correct, that's correct? Maybe no idea? What the
- 50:04hell you're about to spring? Honest, pretty sure you don't. So I'm
- 50:07just gonna give you guys a prompt and you have to let me know yes
- 50:10or no, And you can say your name to buzz In if you do
- 50:14think you know the rules of the game to get an instant winka. Obviously,
- 50:17if you are incorrect on that buzz in, you cannot buzz in again.
- 50:22The other person can still go at any point at the very end of
- 50:24it. If nobody can gets the rules of the game, who go by
- 50:28whoever has the most points? Simple? That pretty simple? All right?
- 50:30Awesome? All right? Yes, Now, since since Aggie was playing this
- 50:37whole time, and Aaron, Aaron, you get the choice you want to
- 50:42go first or second, I will go first first, Aaron, yes or
- 50:46no? Steve, I will say yes, no, right, hug Dave.
- 51:07So we we don't get any feedback at all. I guess I could
- 51:12do it. Then hold on, let me make sure real quick what I
- 51:15was gonna do it? After every five? But no, you know I
- 51:17can. You don't have to knowledge making sure your game. I was just
- 51:22like your rules of the game you make. I guess you literally make the
- 51:27rules. I know I do. I can change them at any time,
- 51:29can you guys? See? The rules of the game is that there are
- 51:30no rules. I make them up as they go they change, I'll they
- 51:35be fucked up. All right, No, no, okay, we're gonna
- 51:37stop. Okay, So the first one was no okay, Ugly Dave no,
- 51:50Aaron, Yes. The correct answer is yes, Aaron. The third
- 52:00one is George yes or no, uh no, Aggie No. The correct
- 52:14answer is yes. Oh oh no, you're eye a wait, we were
- 52:21on Paul. He needs his eyeball, mad eg Oh, I'm starting with
- 52:29you on this one. Marvin yes or no? Yes, Aaron No,
- 52:45The correct answer is yes, It's okay. Character next, Aaron. The
- 52:52next one is Jill yes no. The correct answer is no, son of
- 53:10a bitch. Well, I have better guess this trouble. See, Augie's
- 53:17got me three points to one right now, I've got seventeen of these.
- 53:22Ship all right, Age yes, Linda, yes or no? Yes Aaron,
- 53:37Linda, I'm gonna say yes. You both would be correct. All

- 54:17really, because that's the real I like, it just became less evident.
- 54:23We all say that, though, and then it never does until the
- 54:25very end. We're starting with Augie here Jennifer, yes or no? Yes,
- 54:37Aaron, Yes, you both are correct. I don't know why.
- 54:45Uh. Starting with Aaron Shamus yes or no, spilt s E A M

- 57:42me a second when I realized the y s's were Dave, George, Linda,
- 57:45Jennifer, Lorraine, and Emmetts. I'm like, wait a minute.
- 57:50I was totally on the wrong. You had me going. So I was.
- 57:52I was convinced, especially after I got three in a row correct that
- 57:57It was like does the name have even more automount of letters? And then
- 58:02Paul was no, and I was like no, but no. And then
- 58:08I looked at it again and I was like, son of a bitch,
- 58:12well done. No good. That was great, dude. I figured the
- 58:15next one somebody had to get like. I wouldn't have gotten it until you

- 58:42getting I realized he wasn't getting the points. After a couple okay, very
- 58:45after, after getting Mario the rain and Emmett correct in a row, I
- 58:49was I was ready to buzz it, and then you did, Paul,
- 58:53and I was like, oh it's not. I'm so glad I waited.
- 58:59I would have blown my only chance, and then I just would have been
- 59:00sitting there waiting for Augie to guess it would which I never would have probably
- 59:05even with Beff and Marty up there. I mean, come on, that
- 59:07was awesome. That was awesome. It goes Doc Brown like, oh ship,
- 59:13that's Emmett. Yeah, that was Emmett. L Brown. Oh that
- 59:16shows how much I pay attention to Seamus was his ancestor in the Wild West.
