190 years of The Sydney Morning Herald
It is the 190th anniversary of The Sydney Morning Herald this month, and to mark the event editor Lisa Davies and head of subscribers and growth, Dave Eisman, joined the Mumbrellacast to chat about the enduring strength of the printed newspaper. Coming out of COVID-19 the pair also reflect on the effect the pandemic had on subscriber growth and the Herald's approach to journalism. And, just weeks after the cyber attack on Nine sent the whole business into a spin, Davies and Eisman give an insight on what happened at the Herald and how they managed to keep the paper rolling out the door.
