Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to start taking
• 0:07
Speaker 1: a look at the Bill Clinton transcript from his visit
• 0:11
Speaker 1: to Congress. Now previously, I only had access to the video,
• 0:15
Speaker 1: but now we have the transcript. So we're just going
• 0:19
Speaker 1: to jump right in after he was sworn in. And
• 0:21
Speaker 1: there's an exchange between Cheryl Mills and the committee. That's
• 0:26
Speaker 1: where we're going to start. Cheryl Mills. I have a
• 0:29
Speaker 1: comment before we begin, please, Mr. Chairman. I want to
• 0:32
Speaker 1: start out by saying, as you know, yesterday, there was
• 0:35
Speaker 1: a photo released, and I appreciate you assuring and admonishing
• 0:39
Speaker 1: to the committee and all of us of your obligations. Obviously,
• 0:43
Speaker 1: we want to make sure that doesn't happen again. We've
• 0:45
Speaker 1: obviously experienced a number of deep fakes that have now
• 0:48
Speaker 1: been circulating on the web, not because of anything that
• 0:51
Speaker 1: the committee did, but because of the release of this
• 0:54
Speaker 1: particular photograph. And for that reason, I would ask two things. One,
• 0:59
Speaker 1: a reminder to all that the obligation to maintain what
• 1:02
Speaker 1: is occurring in this room occurs. And two, a release
• 1:05
Speaker 1: of the video of the secretary's testimony as soon as possible,
• 1:08
Speaker 1: ideally today, which was in 24 hours. And the same
• 1:13
Speaker 1: for the presidents, so that there are not deep fakes
• 1:16
Speaker 1: that are representing what's happening here when they actually have not.
• 1:20
Speaker 1: James Comer, yeah, and let me say yesterday, that was
• 1:23
Speaker 1: an unfortunate situation. Cheryl Mills, I appreciate it. Comer, we
• 1:28
Speaker 1: had probably two things that shouldn't have happened. The release
• 1:31
Speaker 1: of the photo, as well as a Democrat member communicating
• 1:34
Speaker 1: with the New York Times. So I will, again, remind
• 1:37
Speaker 1: everyone to refrain from sending pictures or texting with media
• 1:40
Speaker 1: outlets outside. Melvin is our videographer, and he's doing this today,
• 1:45
Speaker 1: as well as producing the video, so we'll get them
• 1:48
Speaker 1: out hopefully as soon as possible. Hopefully within the next
• 1:51
Speaker 1: 24 hours. Cheryl Mills, Thank you very much, Chairman. I
• 1:55
Speaker 1: appreciate that. Nothing more. Jack Emmer, who is the investigator
• 2:00
Speaker 1: for James Comer. Mr. President, do you wish to provide
• 2:03
Speaker 1: an opening statement? Bill Clinton, I do. It's brief. First
• 2:08
Speaker 1: of all, good morning and welcome to all of you
• 2:10
Speaker 1: to our hometown. I appreciate you coming here. I'm here
• 2:14
Speaker 1: today basically for two reasons. First of all, I love
• 2:17
Speaker 1: my country and the Constitution, and I believe America was
• 2:20
Speaker 1: built on the idea that no one is above the law.
• 2:23
Speaker 1: especially presidents, and that we should all live by the
• 2:26
Speaker 1: same set of rules shaped with the Constitution. Democracy requires
• 2:30
Speaker 1: every person to play their part. And I hope by
• 2:34
Speaker 1: being here today, we can bring ourselves a little further
• 2:37
Speaker 1: away from the brink and back to being a country
• 2:40
Speaker 1: where we can disagree civilly and search for the truth
• 2:42
Speaker 1: and justice. And if that outweighs the partisan urge, spectacle,
• 2:46
Speaker 1: and point scoring, I'll do my part, and I hope
• 2:49
Speaker 1: that you'll do yours. The second reason I'm here is
• 2:52
Speaker 1: that the girls and women whose lives Jeffrey Epstein destroyed
• 2:55
Speaker 1: deserved not just justice, but healing. They've been waiting too
• 2:59
Speaker 1: long for both. Through my brief acquaintance with Jeffrey Epstein,
• 3:03
Speaker 1: though it ended years before his crimes came to light,
• 3:06
Speaker 1: and though I never witnessed during our limited interactions any
• 3:09
Speaker 1: indication of what was going on, I'm here to offer
• 3:12
Speaker 1: what little I know so I can do my part
• 3:14
Speaker 1: to prevent something like this from happening again. I have
• 3:18
Speaker 1: to say, one personal thing, since Hillary came in yesterday,
• 3:21
Speaker 1: she had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein, nothing. There's
• 3:24
Speaker 1: a picture of us both shaking hands with him in
• 3:27
Speaker 1: a photo lined in 1993 at a fundraiser for the
• 3:30
Speaker 1: White House Historical Association. I don't know how it is
• 3:34
Speaker 1: under President Trump, but when I was there, it was
• 3:37
Speaker 1: about the most non-political operation you can imagine. There were
• 3:40
Speaker 1: people who loved the White House, who were interested in it,
• 3:43
Speaker 1: would give a little money every year, and do things
• 3:45
Speaker 1: that needed doing around the house. and nothing nearly as
• 3:48
Speaker 1: extravagant as the ballroom or any of that, just things
• 3:51
Speaker 1: that had to be done. And neither she nor I
• 3:54
Speaker 1: remembered shaking his hand at all those years ago. So
• 3:57
Speaker 1: I don't think that was right. On the other hand,
• 3:59
Speaker 1: I do think you should be talking to me. I
• 4:02
Speaker 1: think you should have called me. I did take those
• 4:04
Speaker 1: plane trips with him, and you have a right to
• 4:06
Speaker 1: ask those questions. So I'm glad to be here, and
• 4:09
Speaker 1: I understand what the oath is. I have to be
• 4:11
Speaker 1: honest with you, I'll be 80 years old if I
• 4:13
Speaker 1: lived on my next birthday. I don't remember everything that
• 4:17
Speaker 1: happened 24 years ago, but I do remember some things,
• 4:20
Speaker 1: and I will tell you what I remember as best
• 4:21
Speaker 1: I can. We, each of us, are the victims, nothing
• 4:25
Speaker 1: less than the truth and accuracy. We owe that to
• 4:28
Speaker 1: the American people, and I actually hope that you'll be
• 4:31
Speaker 1: able to come up with some suggestions that will reduce
• 4:33
Speaker 1: human trafficking and especially focus on underage girls. I hope
• 4:37
Speaker 1: you'll be able to do that. I know that Hillary
• 4:40
Speaker 1: talked a little yesterday about what the State Department does
• 4:44
Speaker 1: And what she pushed on human trafficking in girls when
• 4:47
Speaker 1: she was Secretary of State? We had to deal with it.
• 4:50
Speaker 1: And in my foundation, I saw it in Nigeria with
• 4:53
Speaker 1: Boko Haram when they were rampaging through the north of
• 4:55
Speaker 1: Nigeria and we were working to trying to stop deaths
• 4:58
Speaker 1: from diarrhea for the young children. And it was interesting.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: These guys were cold and calculated. They said, oh, you
• 5:06
Speaker 1: don't have to leave because of the kids who are
• 5:08
Speaker 1: helping are younger than the ones we want. They have
• 5:11
Speaker 1: to be about nine before they're worth anything to us.
• 5:14
Speaker 1: So this is really important and I'll do what I
• 5:16
Speaker 1: can to make whatever contribution I can. Thank you. Jack Emmer.
• 5:20
Speaker 1: Thank you. The time reads 1128. The majority's time will
• 5:24
Speaker 1: begin now. Mr. President, thank you for agreeing to testify
• 5:28
Speaker 1: today and for your years of service to our country.
• 5:31
Speaker 1: I want to start from the beginning. When did you
• 5:33
Speaker 1: first meet Jeffrey Epstein? Answer. Well, I try in this
• 5:37
Speaker 1: testimony and I'll point it out when I'm aware there's
• 5:40
Speaker 1: a picture or something that predates this. There's a picture.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: where it shows him shaking hands in the White House
• 5:45
Speaker 1: Historical Association reception. That was 93. But I'm not aware
• 5:49
Speaker 1: of that. I first remember meeting him when I got
• 5:52
Speaker 1: on his airplane to take the first trip with my foundation,
• 5:55
Speaker 1: I think, 2002, whenever it was. Question, and to be clear,
• 6:00
Speaker 1: do you have any reason to believe that you have
• 6:02
Speaker 1: met Mr. Epstein prior to becoming President of the United States? Answer,
• 6:07
Speaker 1: before I became President, no. Question, and you mentioned that
• 6:10
Speaker 1: your first memory... of interacting with Mr. Epstein was on
• 6:13
Speaker 1: your first trip. Which trip specifically? Answer, I'm not sure
• 6:18
Speaker 1: which one it was. Which one was the first? I
• 6:21
Speaker 1: took all of our parts of five or four trips
• 6:24
Speaker 1: to Asia and Africa and one to North of Europe
• 6:27
Speaker 1: on Mr. Epstein's airplane. And once when I was in Florida,
• 6:31
Speaker 1: I was offered a ride back to New York, but
• 6:33
Speaker 1: I wasn't there having. And it was just coincidental that
• 6:37
Speaker 1: he was there. I think that was fairly early in
• 6:39
Speaker 1: the process. I don't remember exactly. I just know that
• 6:42
Speaker 1: I did. I took one flight back from Florida to
• 6:45
Speaker 1: New York and all or part of several others. I
• 6:49
Speaker 1: think four or five trips to Africa, Asia, and one
• 6:52
Speaker 1: to Northern Europe. Question by Jack Emmer. I want to
• 6:56
Speaker 1: make sure the record is clear. Is it your testimony
• 6:58
Speaker 1: today that you have no independent recollection whatsoever of the
• 7:01
Speaker 1: circumstances of when you first met Mr. Epstein? David Kendall
• 7:06
Speaker 1: jumps in. Objection. Asked and answered. You can answer again.
• 7:10
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton. Yes, I do have a recollection of when
• 7:13
Speaker 1: I remember meeting him before this trip. I mean, on
• 7:16
Speaker 1: this trip, when I took his plane. Question. Mr. President,
• 7:19
Speaker 1: we're going to discuss more specifics later, but for the record,
• 7:23
Speaker 1: can you briefly describe the nature and extent of your
• 7:25
Speaker 1: relationship with Mr. Epstein? Question. Well, sometime after I left
• 7:30
Speaker 1: the White House, either in late 2001 or early-ish 2002.
• 7:34
Speaker 1: I received a call from Larry Summers, who had been
• 7:37
Speaker 1: on my economic team and was later Secretary of the
• 7:40
Speaker 1: Treasurer and was then President of Harbor. And he said
• 7:44
Speaker 1: that he was calling because a man named Jeffrey Epstein,
• 7:46
Speaker 1: who had made a substantial commitment of several million dollars,
• 7:50
Speaker 1: I think it was 10, but whatever it was, the
• 7:52
Speaker 1: brain research, and he was an information-hungry person, and he
• 7:56
Speaker 1: wanted to spend some time talking to me about economics
• 7:59
Speaker 1: and politics. And he said he's got a massive airplane.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: And he said he would take you, your staff, your
• 8:05
Speaker 1: secret service detail, and anybody else wanting to bring on
• 8:09
Speaker 1: the trips that he knew I was planning to set
• 8:11
Speaker 1: up a global network to provide life-saving AIDS medicine to
• 8:14
Speaker 1: as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. And
• 8:18
Speaker 1: I should back up and say, when I left office,
• 8:20
Speaker 1: we had done all the preliminary work to set up
• 8:22
Speaker 1: the global funds on HTV malaria, but it was not
• 8:26
Speaker 1: yet funded. And there were other instruments and institutions who
• 8:29
Speaker 1: were later founded, including President Bush's PEPFAR program. It had
• 8:34
Speaker 1: not yet been funded. There were only 200,000 people in
• 8:37
Speaker 1: the entire developing world who had AIDS medicine, most of
• 8:40
Speaker 1: them in Brazil, which had a big drug operation on
• 8:43
Speaker 1: its own, and in Thailand, which also had its own
• 8:46
Speaker 1: drug population. In Africa, there were like 30,000 people or something,
• 8:50
Speaker 1: just next to no people, and they were done like flies,
• 8:54
Speaker 1: and I thought we had found a way to drastically
• 8:56
Speaker 1: drive the price down. And that if we could drive
• 8:58
Speaker 1: the price down, we could empower people to administer the
• 9:01
Speaker 1: medicine right, which would save a lot of lives. And
• 9:04
Speaker 1: I was obsessed with it. And I was being helped
• 9:06
Speaker 1: by a man named Ira Magaziner, who had helped us
• 9:10
Speaker 1: in the White House, in whom I had known since
• 9:12
Speaker 1: we lived as Rhodes Scholars together in the 60s. So anyway,
• 9:16
Speaker 1: that's why and when Larry Summers said, I thought, well,
• 9:20
Speaker 1: this would be great. And so we followed up and
• 9:22
Speaker 1: we took the trips. Question, Mr. President, when did your
• 9:26
Speaker 1: relationship with Mr. Epstein end? Answer, well, after a year
• 9:29
Speaker 1: or two, we really picked up a head of team
• 9:31
Speaker 1: with the AIDS program and a lot of other people
• 9:34
Speaker 1: who I knew better and who really cared about the
• 9:36
Speaker 1: work came forward and offered to help us provide transportation.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: And I thought that Mr. Epstein was an interesting man.
• 9:44
Speaker 1: I didn't think he was really interested in what I
• 9:46
Speaker 1: was doing, but as he asked all these questions, he
• 9:49
Speaker 1: did ask about economics and politics as he said he would.
• 9:52
Speaker 1: And he never asked me anything untoward. It's just I
• 9:55
Speaker 1: didn't think And he had done what he promised. I'd always,
• 9:50
Speaker 1: over the years, these donors trying not to overstay my welcome.
• 9:52
Speaker 1: I thought that we'd done enough. And then, it was
• 9:54
Speaker 1: time to start working with other people. When did you
• 9:57
Speaker 1: first learn of Jeffrey Epstein's crimes? Answer, I think in 2008,
• 9:59
Speaker 1: when he was prosecuted. There was nothing that I saw
• 10:18
Speaker 1: when I was around him that made me realize he
• 10:20
Speaker 1: was trafficking women. Question, let's talk about Ghislaine Maxwell. When
• 10:25
Speaker 1: was the first time that you met Ghislaine Maxwell? Answer,
• 10:28
Speaker 1: I believe I first met her with him when she
• 10:30
Speaker 1: was working with him. Question, and when did you understand Ms. Maxwell?
• 10:34
Speaker 1: What did you understand her relationship to be with Mr. Epstein? Answer,
• 10:39
Speaker 1: I thought she was his chief of staff or administrator. Question,
• 10:43
Speaker 1: and you said that the first time you met Ms. Maxwell?
• 10:45
Speaker 1: with Mr. Epstein, is that after you were president? Answer, yeah.
• 10:50
  Speaker 1: I don't believe I met her when I was president.
• 10:52
Speaker 1: I could have. I met a lot of people that
• 10:54
Speaker 1: I don't remember, but I definitely remember meeting her on
• 10:57
Speaker 1: that first flight. Question, can you briefly, for the record,
• 11:01
Speaker 1: describe the nature and extent of your relationship with Ms. Maxwell? Answer, yeah.
• 11:06
Speaker 1: It lasted longer and was more extensive than my relationship
• 11:09
Speaker 1: with Mr. Epstein because Ghislaine Maxwell started going with a
• 11:12
Speaker 1: man named Ted Wade who had made a lot of
• 11:14
Speaker 1: money making the first sort of self-designed computers, and he
• 11:18
Speaker 1: was a big supporter of mine and the Foundation before
• 11:20
Speaker 1: he started seeing Glenn. We had been friends, and he
• 11:24
Speaker 1: was interested in particularly in reducing pollution in the oceans,
• 11:28
Speaker 1: and so when she started going with him, I would
• 11:30
Speaker 1: see her from time to time. Question, and when did
• 11:33
Speaker 1: your relationship with Ms. Maxwell end? Answer, I don't think
• 11:36
Speaker 1: I've seen her in a decade. It's been a long time.
• 11:39
Speaker 1: I don't know exactly when. Question, why did your relationship
• 11:43
Speaker 1: with Ms. Maxwell end? Question, well, at first she moved
• 11:46
Speaker 1: to Boston, I think. She had a relationship with a
• 11:48
Speaker 1: man there, and I think they may have married. And
• 11:51
Speaker 1: so she wasn't so much around. And then, when it became,
• 11:55
Speaker 1: after 2019, when it became, obviously, she was involved too,
• 11:59
Speaker 1: to the extent that I did not know about, that
• 12:01
Speaker 1: was the end of it. Question, and I want to
• 12:04
Speaker 1: make sure the record is clear. You mentioned that your
• 12:06
Speaker 1: relationship with Ms. Maxwell was more extensive than that of Mr. Epstein? Answer, yes.
• 12:12
Speaker 1: It lasted longer. Yes. Question, okay, do you have any
• 12:16
Speaker 1: recollection of what year it would have ended? Answer, no,
• 12:20
Speaker 1: but when she was with Ted Waite, she was when
• 12:22
Speaker 1: we were kicking off CGI. She was very interested in that,
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: and she participated, but I don't remember. I don't know.
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: It's been 10 to 12 years since I saw her,
• 12:31
Speaker 1: so I don't remember when the last time was. All right, folks,
• 12:33
Speaker 1: we're going to wrap up the first episode right here,
• 12:36
Speaker 1: and in the next episode dealing with the topic we're
• 12:38
Speaker 1: going to pick up where we left off. All the
• 12:40
Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found... in
• 12:43
Speaker 1: the description box. What's up everyone and welcome to another
• 12:46
Speaker 1: episode of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going
• 12:50
Speaker 1: to pick up where he left off with the Bill
• 12:52
Speaker 1: Clinton transcript from his trip to Congress. Thank you. I'm
• 12:57
Speaker 1: going to ask some questions regarding who you communicated with
• 13:02
Speaker 1: and about what. If you don't recall specifics, but do
• 13:05
Speaker 1: recall you communicated with them, you should answer yes. But
• 13:08
Speaker 1: say you do not recall the specifics. David Kendall jumps
• 13:12
Speaker 1: in Counsel, could I just ask, if you're going down
• 13:15
Speaker 1: a list, your question is, did he communicate with the person,
• 13:18
Speaker 1: yes or no? And then you'll come back if he
• 13:20
Speaker 1: says yes, and ask further. Emmer, yeah. Kendall, thank you. Emmer,
• 13:27
Speaker 1: and I'll finish the prompt here too. So the question, Mr. President,
• 13:31
Speaker 1: have you ever communicated with any of the following people
• 13:33
Speaker 1: regarding Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell? And for now, you
• 13:37
Speaker 1: can say yes or no. And we'll come back to
• 13:39
Speaker 1: discuss each one. Cheryl Mills, yes. And this is to
• 13:42
Speaker 1: the best of his recollection, yeah? Jack Emmer, correct. Cheryl Mills, okay, thanks.
• 13:49
Speaker 1: Jack Emmer, Richard Kahn. Bill Clinton, Richard who? Jack Emmer, Kahn.
• 13:58
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, Todd. Jack Emmer, Kahn. Clinton, I don't know
• 14:02
Speaker 1: who that is. Darren Indyke, Bill Clinton. I don't know
• 14:06
Speaker 1: who that is. Sarah Kellan, I don't know who that is.
• 14:11
Speaker 1: Huma Abedin. Bill Clinton. Yes. Kendall jumps in. Excuse me, Mr. President.
• 14:16
Speaker 1: The question is, as I understand it, name the people
• 14:19
Speaker 1: you communicated to about Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell. Bill Clinton. Oh,
• 14:24
Speaker 1: obviously I know. Very well. I don't remember any specific
• 14:27
Speaker 1: conversation we ever had about Epstein or Maxwell. Noam Chomsky. Answer. No, Mr.
• 14:33
Speaker 1: Chomsky wasn't a big fan of mine. He thought I
• 14:35
Speaker 1: was too conservative. Leslie Groff. Answer. Leslie who? Question, Groff.
• 14:42
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, I'm sorry, I don't know who that is.
• 14:45
Speaker 1: Nadia Marcinkova, I don't know who that is. Jean-Luc Brunel,
• 14:49
Speaker 1: I don't know who that is. Alan Dershowitz, I know him,
• 14:52
Speaker 1: and I'm not aware that we ever talked about Epstein
• 14:54
Speaker 1: or Glenn Maxwell. I don't believe we did. Question, Reid Hoffman.
• 14:58
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, I know Reid Hoffman, but he never talked
• 15:01
Speaker 1: to me about Mr. Epstein or Ms. Maxwell. Question, Krinia Shulak. Answer,
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: I don't believe I know who she is. I don't
• 15:08
Speaker 1: think I ever met that person. Woody Allen. Answer. I
• 15:12
Speaker 1: do know who he is, but I don't think I
• 15:14
Speaker 1: ever met him, and I never talked to him about
• 15:16
Speaker 1: Epstein or Maxwell. Question. Sandy Berger. Answer. Sandy Berger was
• 15:20
Speaker 1: my national security advisor, and we were very close personally,
• 15:24
Speaker 1: but he's been dead for several years, and I don't
• 15:26
Speaker 1: think I ever talked to him about either one of
• 15:28
Speaker 1: those people. Question. Jess Daly. Answer. Jess Daly. No. Question.
• 15:34
Speaker 1: Paul Morris. Answer. No. Lead Rothschild. Answer, who Rothschild? Led Rothschild? Answer, no.
• 15:45
Speaker 1: I have other Rothschilds on this list as well, though.
• 15:48
Speaker 1: Question or answer, I'm not sure who Led Rothschild is.
• 15:51
Speaker 1: I've met a bunch of them when I spoke at
• 15:53
Speaker 1: a funeral for Evelyn Rothschild and I had met some
• 15:56
Speaker 1: of the others. The one couple in France once 20
• 15:59
Speaker 1: years ago, but I don't remember them. Question, okay, Lynn
• 16:02
Speaker 1: Forrester or Rothschild? Clinton, yeah, I know her, but I
• 16:06
Speaker 1: don't remember ever discussing Epstein or Glenn Maxwell with her. Emmer,
• 16:10
Speaker 1: Glenn Dubin. Bill Clinton. I don't believe I know him. Emmer,
• 16:14
Speaker 1: Eva Anderson. Clinton. I don't believe I know her. How
• 16:17
Speaker 1: about Casey Wasserman? Clinton. I know him. He was on
• 16:20
Speaker 1: a trip to Africa with me, but I don't recall
• 16:22
Speaker 1: ever discussing either Glenn Maxwell or Jeffrey Epstein with him. Question,
• 16:28
Speaker 1: Ira Magaziner. Answer, yeah, I think I mentioned him earlier.
• 16:32
Speaker 1: He was the person who basically helped me start the
• 16:33
Speaker 1: AIDS program, and he ran the Clinton Health Access Initiative
• 16:37
Speaker 1: for many years. He retired a couple years ago, a
• 16:40
Speaker 1: few years ago, but I don't remember ever discussing either
• 16:43
Speaker 1: Epstein or Rothschild with him, I mean, or Maxwell with him. Question,
• 16:47
Speaker 1: Karen Ewing. Answer, no. Question, Stacey Plaskett. Answer, Stacey Plaskett
• 16:52
Speaker 1: is the member of Congress from the Virgin Islands, isn't she? Answer, correct. Question,
• 16:56
Speaker 1: I know her, but I don't recall ever discussing Epstein
• 16:59
Speaker 1: or Maxwell. Question, Howard Lutnick. Answer, Howard Lutnick is the
• 17:04
Speaker 1: Secretary of Commerce, right? Answer, correct. Bill Clinton, I know him,
• 17:08
Speaker 1: from 9-11, and because Hillary worked with his company and
• 17:11
Speaker 1: helped him to get going again, and I know he's
• 17:14
Speaker 1: now President Trump's Secretary of Commerce, but I don't remember
• 17:17
Speaker 1: ever having any conversation with him about Jeffrey Epstein or
• 17:20
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell. Question Doug Band. Answer, he worked for me
• 17:24
Speaker 1: for years, and I know that he arranged airplane flights
• 17:27
Speaker 1: and things like that, and was doing work on the
• 17:29
Speaker 1: first Clinton Global Initiative in 2005, and I know that
• 17:32
Speaker 1: he knew both Epstein and Maxwell. I do not know
• 17:36
Speaker 1: to what extent He was in contact with him, and
• 17:39
Speaker 1: I've heard things in the last thing I didn't have
• 17:41
Speaker 1: any idea of 24 years ago. So you'd have to
• 17:44
Speaker 1: be more specific. If you want to know if I
• 17:46
Speaker 1: knew something then, I can tell you the best that
• 17:48
Speaker 1: I can. Jack Emmer, we'll go back. Answer by Bill Clinton.
• 17:54
Speaker 1: He worked for me, and I knew some of what
• 17:56
Speaker 1: he was doing, and I didn't know of some of
• 17:57
Speaker 1: what he was doing. Question, thank you, and we'll return
• 18:01
Speaker 1: to Mr. Band. Louis Free or Louis Free? Clinton, I
• 18:05
Speaker 1: do know him, to the best of my knowledge. I
• 18:07
Speaker 1: didn't have any conversation with him about anything practically, but
• 18:11
Speaker 1: I certainly didn't talk to him about this. Question, Robert Rubin. Answer,
• 18:16
Speaker 1: Bob Rubin was Larry Summers' predecessor as Treasury Secretary and
• 18:21
Speaker 1: the first director of the National Economic Council. But I
• 18:24
Speaker 1: don't know if he knew Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell.
• 18:27
Speaker 1: I had no conversation with him about it. Question, and
• 18:30
Speaker 1: for now, Mr. President, you can answer yes or no.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, okay. Cheryl Mills. And the yes or no
• 18:37
Speaker 1: is intended to convey whether or not you had a
• 18:39
Speaker 1: conversation about Ghislaine Maxwell or Jeffrey. Emmer, Larry Summers. Bill Clinton, yes.
• 18:46
Speaker 1: Jack Emmer, Pete Rathgeb. Bill Clinton, Pete who? Rathgeb. Bill Clinton, Rathko? Emmer, Rathgeb.
• 18:56
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, oh, Rathgeb. I don't recall the name. Emmer,
• 19:00
Speaker 1: John Podesta? Answer, I don't believe I ever talked to
• 19:03
Speaker 1: John about it. I did stay in touch with John Podesta.
• 19:06
Speaker 1: After I left the White House. And I consider him
• 19:09
Speaker 1: a friend. But I don't believe we ever discussed Epstein
• 19:12
Speaker 1: or Maxwell. Emmer, Andrew Friendly. Answer, no. He was one
• 19:16
Speaker 1: of my, what you call, body men at the White House.
• 19:18
Speaker 1: And we've stayed in touch over the years. But I
• 19:21
Speaker 1: don't remember discussing Epstein or Maxwell with him. Question, Kathy Rumler. Answer,
• 19:26
Speaker 1: Kathy Rumler is a lawyer who had done some, on occasion,
• 19:28
Speaker 1: some help for the foundation. I don't believe I ever
• 19:31
Speaker 1: discussed Maxwell or Epstein with her. But I can't be sure.
• 19:34
Speaker 1: But I don't remember doing it. Cheryl Mills, Mr. President,
• 19:38
Speaker 1: they're only asking you what you can remember. Bill Clinton, what?
• 19:42
Speaker 1: Cheryl Mills, they're only asking you what you can remember.
• 19:45
Speaker 1: Jack Emmer, Mark Middleton, answer I did not, and he
• 19:49
Speaker 1: sadly is dead now. question Bill Richardson answer no he's
• 19:53
Speaker 1: dead too now sadly but I didn't know about his
• 19:55
Speaker 1: relationship with Epstein Emmer George Mitchell Bill Clinton no question
• 20:01
Speaker 1: Bill Gates answer no question Leon Black answer no question
• 20:05
Speaker 1: Ehud Barak answer no question Tony Blair answer no Andrew
• 20:10
Speaker 1: Mountbatten-Windsor Bill Clinton I knew that he knew at some
• 20:14
Speaker 1: point I knew that he knew Glenn Maxwell but I
• 20:17
Speaker 1: didn't know I didn't think that he knew Epstein question
• 20:20
Speaker 1: so is that a yes you had communications with him
• 20:23
Speaker 1: answer no we never had any Cheryl Mills is your
• 20:26
Speaker 1: question communications about Epstein and Maxwell Emmer correct Cheryl Mills
• 20:32
Speaker 1: just generally has a conversation like you're together Emmer yeah
• 20:35
Speaker 1: Cheryl Mills can you just elaborate more so he can
• 20:38
Speaker 1: better answer your question Mr. Emmer. Mr. President, did you
• 20:42
Speaker 1: ever have any communication with Prince Andrew related to Mr.
• 20:45
Speaker 1: Epstein or Miss Maxwell? Bill Clinton, the direct answer to
• 20:49
Speaker 1: your question is no, but I don't want to mislead you.
• 20:53
Speaker 1: I know that because of my friendship with Evelyn and
• 20:55
Speaker 1: Lynn Rothschild, and because the former prince was around them,
• 20:59
Speaker 1: and they knew Ghislaine Maxwell from Britain, and through her father,
• 21:02
Speaker 1: her late father, there may have been some conversation there.
• 21:04
Speaker 1: I don't remember it, but I don't want to mislead you.
• 21:08
Speaker 1: Jack Emmer, thank you. Cheryl Mills, your question, because it's
• 21:11
Speaker 1: so broad, means that any social engagement that you might
• 21:14
Speaker 1: have had, you would have captured. So I think that
• 21:17
Speaker 1: what he's trying to distinguish between is what you're trying
• 21:20
Speaker 1: to learn and just social engagement. Jack Emmer, yes. Bill Clinton,
• 21:25
Speaker 1: if I had social engagement with Andrew, Emmer related to Epstein. Clinton,
• 21:29
Speaker 1: not related to him, no. Question, Peter Mandelson, answer no.
• 21:34
Speaker 1: Mohammed bin Salman, answer no. Larry Page, answer no. Sergey Brin,
• 21:39
Speaker 1: answer no. Jack Emmer, so let's talk about Larry Summers.
• 21:44
Speaker 1: You mentioned that you had communication with him related to
• 21:47
Speaker 1: Maxwell and Epstein. What were the nature of those two?
• 21:50
Speaker 1: Cheryl Mills, for the record, he said with Epstein, just him.
• 21:53
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, just Epstein. Jack Emmer, just Epstein, thank you.
• 21:58
Speaker 1: You mentioned that you had communication with Larry Summers related
• 22:01
Speaker 1: to Mr. Epstein. Can you describe the nature of those communications? Answer, yeah.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: As I said before, he called me on the phone.
• 22:09
Speaker 1: He knew that I was trying to do with AIDS
• 22:11
Speaker 1: work and how important it was to me. And he
• 22:14
Speaker 1: said that he had just talked to Jeffrey Epstein, who
• 22:16
Speaker 1: he described as a successful investment advisor, who made a
• 22:20
Speaker 1: lot of money and had made a large commitment to
• 22:22
Speaker 1: Harvard to bring research. And he said he wants to
• 22:26
Speaker 1: talk to you about politics and economics. And he says,
• 22:29
Speaker 1: if you will take an hour on the longer legs
• 22:31
Speaker 1: of these trips, he knows you're going to make to
• 22:34
Speaker 1: Africa and Asia to talk to him about it that
• 22:36
Speaker 1: he will fly you on his airplane and your staff
• 22:39
Speaker 1: and your Secret Service detail and any other people you
• 22:42
Speaker 1: want to take who are supporting your work. Question, and
• 22:46
Speaker 1: you mentioned that these communications related to the work of
• 22:49
Speaker 1: your foundation. Did you ever have any other communications with
• 22:52
Speaker 1: Larry Summers related to Mr. Epstein? Answer, no. Question, so
• 22:56
Speaker 1: for the record, you never discussed anything related to Mr.
• 22:59
Speaker 1: Epstein and young women or girls? Answer, absolutely not. Question, Mr. President,
• 23:05
Speaker 1: for the record, Have you ever been contacted by any
• 23:08
Speaker 1: law enforcement agency concerning Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell? Answer,
• 23:13
Speaker 1: as far back as I know, no. That's as far
• 23:16
Speaker 1: back as I remember. Back in 2008, I sort of
• 23:19
Speaker 1: thought somebody might ask me something because... And I was
• 23:23
Speaker 1: glad that this had come out, since it had happened,
• 23:25
Speaker 1: but I don't believe anybody ever did. Jack Emmer, you
• 23:29
Speaker 1: mentioned that you thought someone would want to ask you something.
• 23:32
Speaker 1: Can you elaborate on what that means? Bill Clinton, just
• 23:35
Speaker 1: because he let me use the airplane. Question, and to
• 23:38
Speaker 1: be clear, have you ever provided any information to law
• 23:41
Speaker 1: enforcement agencies concerning Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell? Cheryl Mills,
• 23:46
Speaker 1: you asked this question before. You're just asking him to
• 23:49
Speaker 1: reiterate the response to the question that he previously asked you, Mr. President.
• 23:54
  Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, I don't. I don't believe any law enforcement
• 23:57
  Speaker 1: agency has ever asked me, and I don't, I didn't
• 24:00
Speaker 1: know enough to volunteer anything. Mr. President, are you aware
• 24:05
Speaker 1: by efforts by anyone, including an attorney, process server, investigator,
• 24:10
Speaker 1: or any other person to contact you regarding any civil lawsuit, claim,
• 24:14
Speaker 1: or litigation involving Jeffrey Epstein or Glenn Maxwell? Bill Clinton,
• 24:20
Speaker 1: not that I recall. All right, folks, we're going to
• 24:22
Speaker 1: wrap up right here. And in the next episode dealing
• 24:24
Speaker 1: with the topic, we're going to pick up where we
• 24:26
Speaker 1: left off. All the information that goes with this episode
• 24:30
Speaker 1: can be found at in the description box. What's up
• 24:33
Speaker 1: everyone and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles.
• 24:37
Speaker 1: In this episode, we're going to pick up where we
• 24:39
Speaker 1: left off with the Bill Clinton transcript from his trip
• 24:43
Speaker 1: to Congress. Question, did Jeffrey Epstein ever inform you or
• 24:48
Speaker 1: represent to you that he was working with any intelligence
• 24:50
Speaker 1: service of any nation, including the United States? Bill Clinton, no. Question,
• 24:56
Speaker 1: did Ghislaine Maxwell ever inform you or represent to you
• 24:59
Speaker 1: that she was working with any intelligence service of any nation,
• 25:03
Speaker 1: including the United States? Answer, no. Question, and during your relationship,
• 25:08
Speaker 1: did you ever suspect Epstein or Maxwell of being affiliated
• 25:11
Speaker 1: with any intelligence agency? Answer, I did not. Answer, thank you. Question,
• 25:18
Speaker 1: I want to talk about your time at the White House.
• 25:20
Speaker 1: I realize that you testified your recollection is limited, but
• 25:23
Speaker 1: did Mr. Epstein ever visit the White House while you
• 25:26
Speaker 1: were president? Objection. Asked and answered. Bill Clinton. The records
• 25:32
Speaker 1: reflect that he did. Congresswoman, that's not the question. Emmer.
• 25:38
Speaker 1: According to a FOA request to the Clinton Library, Mr.
• 25:41
Speaker 1: Epstein visited the White House at least 17 times between
• 25:46
Speaker 1: 1993 and 1995. Do you have any reason to dispute
• 25:49
Speaker 1: those numbers? Answer. Nope, I don't. Question. Do you know
• 25:53
Speaker 1: what the nature of Mr. Epstein's visits to the White
• 25:55
Speaker 1: House were? And to this, Cheryl Mills jumps in. Are
• 25:58
Speaker 1: you asking what he knew in preparation for today? Can
• 26:01
Speaker 1: you clarify what you're seeking to learn? Bill Clinton, first
• 26:04
Speaker 1: of all, at the time, I had no idea he
• 26:07
Speaker 1: was coming and going. Huge numbers of people come and
• 26:10
Speaker 1: go to the White House. A lot of them come
• 26:13
Speaker 1: well over once, especially if they're lobbyists, for example. But
• 26:16
  Speaker 1: I didn't know he was coming, so I certainly didn't
• 26:19
Speaker 1: know what he was coming about. Question, Mr. President. After
• 26:23
Speaker 1: you left office, did you or your staff... Ever conduct
• 26:26
Speaker 1: a review of records, documents, or other material related to Mr.
• 26:30
Speaker 1: Epstein's connection to your White House? One of Clinton's lawyers
• 26:33
Speaker 1: jumps in. You're exempting counsel. You can respond to that,
• 26:36
Speaker 1: but don't say anything about what you talk to your
• 26:40
Speaker 1: lawyers about. You can respond to the question. Cheryl Mills,
• 26:43
Speaker 1: do you need the question again? Bill Clinton, yeah. I
• 26:45
Speaker 1: don't even understand. You mean, did we look into what
• 26:48
Speaker 1: he did at the White House after I left office? Mr. Emmer, Mr. President.
• 26:54
Speaker 1: One of the concerns of the committee is how Mr.
• 26:56
Speaker 1: Epstein and Glenn Maxwell attempted, or potentially attempted, to curry
• 27:00
Speaker 1: favor with influential figures. My question was, after he left office,
• 27:06
Speaker 1: did you or your staff ever conduct a review of
• 27:08
Speaker 1: records related to Mr. Epstein's connection to your White House? Answer,
• 27:12
Speaker 1: to the best of my knowledge, no. Question, at this time,
• 27:16
Speaker 1: I would like to introduce what will be marked as
• 27:18
Speaker 1: Majority Exhibit 11. And while it's being passed out, I'll
• 27:22
Speaker 1: note for the record, this is a New York Times
• 27:24
Speaker 1: article entitled The Untold Story of How Jeffrey Epstein Got Rich,
• 27:28
Speaker 1: published on December 16th, 2025. And when you receive the article,
• 27:34
Speaker 1: I want to direct your attention to the last paragraph
• 27:36
Speaker 1: of page 31. Cheryl Mills, the last paragraph of which page?
• 27:40
Speaker 1: Jack Emmer, 31. And when you're ready, I will also
• 27:44
Speaker 1: read it to the record. Again, we are looking at
• 27:47
Speaker 1: page 31 in the last paragraph, and I will read
• 27:50
Speaker 1: it into the record and ask you a few questions.
• 27:53
Speaker 1: Please give him a moment to read this. Mr. President,
• 27:57
Speaker 1: the article reads, By 1995, President Clinton and Epstein were
• 28:01
Speaker 1: sufficiently chummy that he wrote a get-well-soon note to Epstein's
• 28:05
Speaker 1: ailing mother. Hang in there, the President scrawled on a
• 28:07
Speaker 1: yellow post-it, which Epstein saved, and we reviewed. Mr. President,
• 28:12
Speaker 1: did you write this note? Cheryl Mills, are you asking
• 28:15
Speaker 1: if he recalls writing a note from 1995 on a post-it?
• 28:19
Speaker 1: Jack Emmer, Correct. Cheryl Mills. Okay, thank you. Bill Clinton.
• 28:24
Speaker 1: It looks like my handwriting, but I don't recall. But
• 28:26
Speaker 1: I will tell you this. I've written get well notes
• 28:29
Speaker 1: to lots of people I did not know and that
• 28:31
Speaker 1: I had never met. Question. And you answer my next question.
• 28:35
Speaker 1: Did you ever meet Jeffrey Epstein's mother or any of
• 28:38
Speaker 1: his family members? Answer. No, I'm not sure that I
• 28:41
Speaker 1: was asked to do this by Jeffrey Epstein. Question. And
• 28:45
Speaker 1: I want to focus specifically on the article's characterization. It
• 28:48
Speaker 1: says that you were chummy. with Mr. Epstein in 1995.
• 28:52
Speaker 1: Is that accurate? One of his lawyers jumps in. I'm
• 28:55
Speaker 1: going to object to the characterization. It's hearsay. The president
• 28:59
Speaker 1: may answer. Bill Clinton, no, I wasn't surprised by that. Question,
• 29:05
Speaker 1: let's talk about your relationship with Mr. Epstein after you
• 29:08
Speaker 1: left the White House. Bill Clinton, okay. Question, how would
• 29:12
Speaker 1: you characterize your relationship with Mr. Epstein? Answer, during that time,
• 29:16
Speaker 1: I was, it was cordial. Question. At any time, would
• 29:20
Speaker 1: you characterize Mr. Epstein as a friend? Answer. We were friendly,
• 29:24
Speaker 1: but I didn't know him well enough to be saying
• 29:26
Speaker 1: we were friends. Question. How often did you communicate with Mr. Epstein? Answer.
• 29:31
Speaker 1: Usually only on trips. I did go to his house once,
• 29:35
Speaker 1: as you know. Question. And we'll discuss that further later
• 29:38
Speaker 1: on today. Answer. how did you typically communicate with Mr. Epstein?
• 29:42
Speaker 1: Did you talk to him on the phone? Answer, Cheryl
• 29:46
Speaker 1: Mills jumps in, excuse me, he just said he talked
• 29:48
Speaker 1: to him on the trips, so that's in person. Bill Clinton,
• 29:51
Speaker 1: typically my staff communicated with him. I think it was
• 29:54
Speaker 1: mostly Mr. Band, but somebody talked to him. Question, and
• 29:59
Speaker 1: you mentioned that you visited one of his properties, but
• 30:02
Speaker 1: outside of the work on the foundation and your trips,
• 30:05
Speaker 1: how many times did you meet in person with Mr. Epstein?
• 30:09
Speaker 1: Cheryl Mills, you're asking best of his recollection. Answer, by
• 30:13
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, outside of the trips, I believe he came
• 30:15
Speaker 1: to the office once in Harlem. I was still housed
• 30:18
Speaker 1: up there then, and I think he paid a brief
• 30:20
Speaker 1: visit to the office, and I paid a brief visit
• 30:22
Speaker 1: to his house. But I once thought he was there,
• 30:26
Speaker 1: but now that I think about it, I don't think
• 30:28
Speaker 1: he was, and that was it. I mean, that's what
• 30:32
Speaker 1: I remember. Question, and you mentioned you visited Mr. Epstein's house.
• 30:37
Speaker 1: Are you referring to his New York townhouse? Answer, yes. Question,
• 30:41
Speaker 1: in your communication with Mr. Epstein, did you ever have
• 30:44
Speaker 1: any communications that were not related to the foundation? Answer,
• 30:48
Speaker 1: I don't believe we ever talked about anything, but the
• 30:51
Speaker 1: work we were doing, I mean, maybe small talk, I
• 30:53
Speaker 1: can't imagine. I don't remember the conversations. question. And for
• 30:57
Speaker 1: the record, before we move on, did you ever communicate
• 31:00
Speaker 1: with Mr. Epstein that related to young women or girls?
• 31:03
Speaker 1: Answer no. Cheryl Mills jumps in. Excuse me, do you have?
• 31:08
Speaker 1: And gets cut off by Jack Emmer. Yes, ma'am. So
• 31:11
Speaker 1: now we have speaker number three. Good morning, Mr. President.
• 31:14
Speaker 1: How are you? Bill Clinton. I'm fine. Question. I want
• 31:19
Speaker 1: to first start out by asking you, have you ever
• 31:21
Speaker 1: been or traveled on or as Huma Abedin ever traveled
• 31:25
Speaker 1: on Epstein's plane? If you know, Bill Clinton, I don't know.
• 31:29
Speaker 1: She might have taken one of the trips with us,
• 31:31
Speaker 1: but I don't know. Question, okay. So have you flown
• 31:34
Speaker 1: on a plane with her? Bill Clinton, oh, several times. Question,
• 31:37
Speaker 1: several times. Cheryl Mills jumps in. Can you say you
• 31:41
Speaker 1: have flown on a plane, any plane? Question, the Lolita Express.
• 31:45
Speaker 1: Cheryl Mills, what's that? When you say that. Question, have
• 31:48
Speaker 1: you flown on the Lolita Express with Jeffrey Epstein? To that,
• 31:51
Speaker 1: we have an objection. Bill Clinton, I don't know what
• 31:54
Speaker 1: that is. Question, have you flown on Jeffrey Epstein's plane
• 31:58
Speaker 1: with Huma Abedin? Objection, asked and answered. You may answer again.
• 32:04
  Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, I don't know. I don't remember. I have flown.
• 32:08
Speaker 1: She's been sort of a part of our family for
• 32:10
Speaker 1: a very long time. So when I went to the
• 32:12
  Speaker 1: Middle East, which I don't think I ever took a
• 32:14
Speaker 1: plane ride with Jeffrey Epstein. But she would typically go
• 32:17
Speaker 1: when I did. Question. So have you traveled with both
• 32:20
Speaker 1: of them together? Answer. Excuse me? Both of whom, Congresswoman? Question.
• 32:25
Speaker 1: Of course. Have you traveled with Jeffrey Epstein or Huma
• 32:28
Speaker 1: Abedin together? Bill Clinton. I don't know. Question. Okay. Thank you.
• 32:34
Speaker 1: If the staff can please pass out EFTA 0021628 and
• 32:39
Speaker 1: the rest of the documents, I have them print regarding
• 32:41
Speaker 1: passports to the President and Council. Emmer. This will be
• 32:45
Speaker 1: Exhibit 12. Cheryl Mills. Thank you. Thank you very much. Question. Mr. President,
• 32:51
Speaker 1: if you look at the passport page, the bottom of
• 32:53
Speaker 1: the document should show the EFTA number. It's 00021628. Bill Clinton. Yeah. Question.
• 33:01
Speaker 1: There's a name on there. Would you be able to
• 33:03
Speaker 1: read that name to me? Cheryl Mills. Can you read
• 33:06
Speaker 1: the name? One of the lawyers jumps in. Excuse me.
• 33:10
Speaker 1: Will you ask me if I have ever seen the
• 33:12
Speaker 1: document before? Question. Yeah, well, this is evidence, and so
• 33:17
Speaker 1: I wanted to ask him specifically, so it's from the
• 33:19
Speaker 1: DOJ document release, right? Answer, I understand, but he may
• 33:24
Speaker 1: not have seen it, or he may have seen it.
• 33:26
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, no, I have never seen it, but it
• 33:28
Speaker 1: looks like a passport. Question, okay, can you tell me
• 33:32
Speaker 1: the name that's listed on the passport? Cheryl Mills, excuse me,
• 33:35
Speaker 1: he's never seen the document. Would you just read the name, please? Answer, question, yeah,
• 33:41
Speaker 1: the name is Marius Robert. Answer, Marius Robert, yeah. Question,
• 33:45
Speaker 1: are you familiar with that name at all? Answer, no. Question, okay.
• 33:49
Speaker 1: Would you be able to identify the individual in the photo? Answer,
• 33:53
Speaker 1: it looks like Jeffrey Epstein. Question, okay. The reason I
• 33:56
Speaker 1: ask you about this specifically is because I do believe
• 34:00
Speaker 1: that Jeffrey Epstein was an intelligence operative. And so this
• 34:03
Speaker 1: was a passport that was actually entered and released by
• 34:06
Speaker 1: the Department of Justice. But this was an FBI filing
• 34:10
Speaker 1: that was found in his safe, if you will. So
• 34:13
Speaker 1: it's an alias. The reason that I ask you that
• 34:16
Speaker 1: is because given your nature and position, I'm wondering if
• 34:20
Speaker 1: you were essentially targeted by a honeypot operation and or
• 34:24
Speaker 1: by intelligence to gather information. So that's why I asked
• 34:27
Speaker 1: the question. Bill Clinton, is there a question? His lawyer
• 34:34
Speaker 1: jumps in. No, you can ask a question. Now the
• 34:38
Speaker 1: person doing the questioning jumps back in. Well, I'll be
• 34:41
Speaker 1: getting to more, but that's the reason I asked that.
• 34:44
Speaker 1: My next question for you is, have you ever contacted
• 34:47
Speaker 1: or had contact with an individual by the name of
• 34:50
Speaker 1: Shante Davies? Bill Clinton, I believe Shante, that's a distinctive name.
• 34:55
Speaker 1: So I think that's the name of one of his
• 34:57
Speaker 1: flight attendants. Question, okay, she's been described on being on
• 35:01
Speaker 1: a 2002 Africa trip and provided massages. Was she or
• 35:05
Speaker 1: any other young female on that trip underage at the time?
• 35:08
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, not that I'm aware of. Question, okay, did
• 35:11
Speaker 1: you ever receive a massage or have physical contact from her?
• 35:14
Speaker 1: or anyone else on that trip? Bill Clinton, you've seen
• 35:18
Speaker 1: the pictures. There was one time when I was sitting
• 35:20
Speaker 1: up and I got a back rub, a neck rub. Question, okay. Answer,
• 35:24
Speaker 1: and I think Shantae did it, but I'm not sure. Question,
• 35:28
Speaker 1: did you ever visit Epstein's Little St. James Island? Answer, no. Question,
• 35:33
Speaker 1: we have Virginia Roberts, who has testified to seeing you
• 35:36
Speaker 1: on the island with two young girls. Did this occur
• 35:39
Speaker 1: at all? Answer, no. Question, why do you think she'd
• 35:42
Speaker 1: make that claim? An objection now by the lawyers. Objection. Speculation.
• 35:48
Speaker 1: He can't possibly. Back to the person doing the questioning.
• 35:51
Speaker 1: Have you ever met her? Any other Epstein-associated underage girl?
• 35:56
Speaker 1: Answer by Clinton, not to my knowledge. Question okay. In
• 36:00
Speaker 1: Epstein's 2016 deposition, unsealed in the TOJ files, he refused
• 36:05
Speaker 1: to answer if you were accompanied by two young women
• 36:07
Speaker 1: who were approximately 18 years old on the island. Were
• 36:11
Speaker 1: any such women potentially underage with you? I know you
• 36:14
Speaker 1: stated that you were not there, but did you have
• 36:17
Speaker 1: any interaction with the set of people? Another objection. Objection
• 36:21
Speaker 1: to the foundation of the question. He's already stated he
• 36:24
Speaker 1: was not on the island. You're now asking about a
• 36:26
Speaker 1: claim of a Fifth Amendment by Jeffrey Epstein. Question, okay.
• 36:30
Speaker 1: Would the staff be able? Jack Emmer, if the witness
• 36:33
Speaker 1: doesn't know, the witness is welcome to say that he
• 36:36
Speaker 1: doesn't know. Cheryl Mills, but he actually answered the question.
• 36:40
Speaker 1: He answered the question that he wasn't on the island,
• 36:42
Speaker 1: so then she was asked. Question, okay. Do you know
• 36:46
Speaker 1: any individual by the name of Sarah Ransom? Answer, I
• 36:49
Speaker 1: don't believe so. Question, okay. There have obviously been claims
• 36:54
Speaker 1: made about you, and I do not believe that these
• 36:56
Speaker 1: claims are credible. The reason I'm asking you specifically about
• 37:00
Speaker 1: the name is because that individual stated that you're on
• 37:03
Speaker 1: sex tapes, okay? It was unfounded, and it was discredited.
• 37:07
Speaker 1: But given how politicized this investigation is, do you believe
• 37:11
Speaker 1: that it would be appropriate of members of the committee...
• 37:13
Speaker 1: to bring in witnesses, whether it's about you or another president,
• 37:17
Speaker 1: that have unfounded allegations regarding sexual claims of misconduct? Bill Clinton,
• 37:22
Speaker 1: that's not a decision for me to make. Question, as
• 37:25
Speaker 1: a recommendation in regards to avoiding trafficking, etc., and bringing
• 37:28
Speaker 1: justice for victims, would you make that recommendation to the committee? Answer,
• 37:34
Speaker 1: by his lawyer, just so I understand the question. You're
• 37:37
Speaker 1: saying if the witness has unfounded claims? Question, well, I
• 37:40
Speaker 1: don't believe that Sarah Ransom's claims about the president are founded.
• 37:44
Speaker 1: I don't believe that there are sex tapes with you,
• 37:46
Speaker 1: President Clinton. His lawyer, no, I'm just asking about your question.
• 37:51
Speaker 1: You're not asking if somebody with plausible claims could be
• 37:54
Speaker 1: brought in. You're asking if somebody with implausible, unfounded claims? Question, correct,
• 37:59
Speaker 1: because these claims were founded, were found to be unfounded
• 38:02
Speaker 1: by investigators. Cheryl Mills, so you're asking his opinion? Answer, yeah.
• 38:08
Speaker 1: because we're trying to figure out in regards to being
• 38:10
Speaker 1: able to further the investigation and whether or not we're
• 38:13
Speaker 1: going to be interviewing other individuals regarding sex trafficking, avoiding
• 38:18
Speaker 1: in the future. I know that you and your wife
• 38:20
Speaker 1: have both been big on the issue. So I'm asking you,
• 38:23
Speaker 1: do you think that it would be appropriate that this
• 38:25
Speaker 1: committee bring in someone like Sarah Ransom, who has unfounded
• 38:28
Speaker 1: claims that have been debunked in this investigation? It's a
• 38:32
Speaker 1: simple question. Cheryl Mills, he answered the question when you
• 38:36
Speaker 1: first asked it. And then he said, It wasn't for
• 38:38
Speaker 1: him to make those decisions. Question, well, I'm asking for
• 38:41
Speaker 1: his recommendation to the committee and follow up. It's not
• 38:44
Speaker 1: a gotcha question. This is obviously a very serious investigation.
• 38:48
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, well, first of all, I recommend that you
• 38:51
Speaker 1: have on your staff a prosecutor who's had a lot
• 38:53
Speaker 1: of experience in dealing with the cases. Normally, it's not
• 38:56
Speaker 1: a good idea to bring in a witness that you
• 38:58
Speaker 1: know is lying. Question, okay, thank you for that. My
• 39:02
Speaker 1: last question for you is, are you familiar with anyone
• 39:05
Speaker 1: by the name of Adriana Ross? Answer, I don't think so. Question,
• 39:09
Speaker 1: how about Sarah Kellan? Answer, I don't think so. Question, okay,
• 39:13
Speaker 1: would you recommend that this committee bring in individuals that
• 39:15
Speaker 1: were listed as trafficking minors? They were listed co-conspirators and
• 39:20
Speaker 1: then given plea deals. Answer, I don't know enough about it,
• 39:23
Speaker 1: but I think you should do whatever you think will
• 39:25
Speaker 1: strengthen the ability of the US not to have this
• 39:28
Speaker 1: happen again question okay is it possible in your opinion
• 39:32
Speaker 1: that you or your wife were targeted as a means
• 39:35
Speaker 1: of an intelligence gathering operation objection by the lawyer object
• 39:40
Speaker 1: to the form of question question picks back up by
• 39:44
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn again object to the form of
• 39:47
Speaker 1: the question no objection to if he knows that that
• 39:51
Speaker 1: they were targeted. I believe that's what she asked. No,
• 39:54
Speaker 1: she said it's possible. Speaker 5 jumps in. No, she
• 39:58
Speaker 1: said it's possible. So she's asking him to speculate instead
• 40:01
Speaker 1: of asking him, does he know? Bill Clinton, I don't, but...
• 40:05
Speaker 1: Jack Emmer jumps in. Okay. Bill Clinton, I don't. I'd
• 40:09
Speaker 1: sort of be surprised, but I don't. I don't know. Question, okay.
• 40:14
Speaker 1: All right, Chairman Comer. I think that yields my time.
• 40:17
Speaker 1: I just want to say thank you very much, President Clinton,
• 40:19
Speaker 1: for coming in. And I do understand that this has
• 40:22
Speaker 1: been politicized, but again, I'll state on the record, and
• 40:25
Speaker 1: I will state to this press, that I do not
• 40:27
Speaker 1: believe that Sarah Killen's claims against you were valid. Bill Clinton,
• 40:31
Speaker 1: thank you. All right, folks, we're going to wrap up
• 40:33
Speaker 1: right here, and then we're going to get back to
• 40:35
Speaker 1: it in the next episode dealing with the topic. All
• 40:38
Speaker 1: the information that goes with this episode can be found
• 40:41
Speaker 1: in the description box.
