- 0:06Speaker 1: It is a brand new hour of the Woody Showy
- 0:09Speaker 1: and Jeff g are out of town there to be
- 0:12Speaker 1: back on Monday. Everybody else is here on a throwback Thursday,
- 0:16Speaker 1: and this is kind of throwback. At my house, I
- 0:19Speaker 1: have a trash compactor, and I had the crappiest night
- 0:25Speaker 1: last night because I haven't taken my trash out in
- 0:27Speaker 1: so long, because I always forget that it is a
- 0:29Speaker 1: trash compactor. So I've been compacting and compacting and compacting,
- 0:33Speaker 1: and I thought this thing rules, I can save on
- 0:36Speaker 1: garbage bags or just compact the hell out of it. Well,
- 0:39Speaker 1: today's garbage day, so I had to take the garbage out,
- 0:41Speaker 1: and I had been compacting it for so damn long.
- 0:44Speaker 1: The bag ripped as I try to take it out,
- 0:46Speaker 1: so I can't get the trash out. So now with
- 0:48Speaker 1: my bare hands, I'm trying to get I don't know,
- 0:51Speaker 1: three weeks of garbage out of there. The bag explodes,
- 0:55Speaker 1: Coffee grounds everywhere, avocado pits everywhere, macaroni and cheese everywhere.
- 1:02Speaker 1: It was such a disaster. It was so disgusting, and
- 1:05Speaker 1: then I had to spend about an hour cleaning it up.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So my night sucked, but MENACE's Night ruled. Apparently it
- 1:11Speaker 1: did because you had the distinct honor of having dinner
- 1:15Speaker 1: with Tyler's family.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I did, so, Yeah, I talked about it a little
- 1:20Speaker 2: bit yesterday. But I'm doing this thing with Lazy Dog
- 1:23Speaker 2: Restaurants where they have family Night every Wednesday night, and
- 1:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna be having dinner with like listeners and then
- 1:30Speaker 2: friends and family. And the first family that I had
- 1:33Speaker 2: dinner with was Tyler's family, and it was quite lovely,
- 1:37Speaker 2: and I got to ask them a lot of questions
- 1:39Speaker 2: about Tyler, and unfortunately, like my microphone, like there was
- 1:42Speaker 2: some issue with it, but I did get some audio,
- 1:44Speaker 2: but this part I didn't get on recorded. And I
- 1:50Speaker 2: asked him. I was like, was there any like embarrassing
- 1:53Speaker 2: things with Tyler that happened? And the first story that
- 1:56Speaker 2: his dad shared with me was that they went to Disneyland,
- 2:00Speaker 2: and I guess it was like, what was it the
- 2:02Speaker 2: Matten Horn or something. So we go to Disney Yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 2: and we go on Space Mountain. Yeah. Yeah, Well they
- 2:07Speaker 2: going on Space Mountain and they all sit on there
- 2:09Speaker 2: and then suddenly he's like, yeah, the ride stopped and
- 2:12Speaker 2: they asked us to get off the ride and they
- 2:13Speaker 2: pulled us aside and said, sorry, your your son is
- 2:17Speaker 2: too large to be on the ride.
- 2:21Speaker 3: How old were you at the time, mid twenties.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I was saying.
- 2:28Speaker 3: And what he did not mentioned is that there was
- 2:29Speaker 3: a whole other car in front of us and had
- 2:31Speaker 3: a bunch of heavy people on it too.
- 2:33Speaker 2: So it wasn't that. Yeah, apparently you maxed it out there.
- 2:37Speaker 2: But yeah, if you don't know Tyler, there's Tyler, his
- 2:40Speaker 2: mom and dad and five brothers, right, So I asked him, like,
- 2:45Speaker 2: how did you even get by? And this is what
- 2:48Speaker 2: happened when they went grocery shopping. So here's the clip.
- 2:51Speaker 2: One recap this real quick. So when you would go
- 2:53Speaker 2: to the store, there's Tyler and then he has five brothers.
- 2:57Speaker 2: How many gallons and milk would you buy?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Every two weeks?
- 3:00Speaker 4: We'd let fourteen yellows? I think how many eggs would
- 3:03Speaker 4: go through?
- 3:04Speaker 1: Five dozen, five dozen two weeks? Yeah, five dozen or
- 3:07Speaker 1: two weeks.
- 3:08Speaker 2: So they would drink a billionaire milk a day.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Very milk heavy family.
- 3:15Speaker 3: It was about like fourteen gallons of milk, and then
- 3:19Speaker 3: just one brother would drink about.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Half of it. By himself because that kid loved milk.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Was that it was not maybe yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 2: But they were telling me, like their their breakfast like
- 3:29Speaker 2: every Saturday Sunday. It was like a hole loaf of bread.
- 3:33Speaker 1: It was.
- 3:33Speaker 3: It was like at least a gallon and a half
- 3:35Speaker 3: of milk, a whole loaf of bread, maybe a dozen
- 3:38Speaker 3: and a half eggs, pound and a half maybe two
- 3:41Speaker 3: pounds of bacon. Because I mean you're feeding six or yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 3: six growing kids, so you know, it was a full
- 3:47Speaker 3: cheaper by the dozen, right.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it was insane. But it's not like Tyler didn't
- 3:51Speaker 2: help out around the house. So his mom shares a
- 3:53Speaker 2: story about him providing for the family. So you had
- 3:57Speaker 2: a story about Tyler coming home with a bunch of
- 3:59Speaker 2: food one time.
- 4:00Speaker 6: Yeah, there's actually two. I have this issue with tweinkies
- 4:05Speaker 6: because they're so unhealthy, and at the time there was
- 4:09Speaker 6: a rumor that Hostess was going out of business, and
- 4:11Speaker 6: so they were like, you gotta get yourself. So Tarna
- 4:13Speaker 6: comes home with like ten boxes of tweakies. It comes in, Dad,
- 4:18Speaker 6: I know she won't let you have them, so I
- 4:20Speaker 6: got them for you because he got him I at
- 4:22Speaker 6: a discount. And this one time when the grocery store
- 4:25Speaker 6: was about to close. He waited till the meat was
- 4:28Speaker 6: on sale for seventy five percent off, and he came
- 4:31Speaker 6: home with like thirty six pounds of bacon.
- 4:36Speaker 5: Okay, that's really really nice of you. Good effort. And
- 4:41Speaker 5: your mom has such a sweet, adorable voice.
- 4:44Speaker 7: What I was picturing his.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Mom is so cool and sounds way more.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Just haggard and exhausted.
- 4:50Speaker 2: There were so nice.
- 4:53Speaker 7: So this couple things here, this twekies thing that was
- 4:55Speaker 7: that was very recently.
- 4:56Speaker 3: No, this was when Hostess was maybe first going out
- 4:59Speaker 3: of This is like early twenty tens.
- 5:02Speaker 7: A while that happened like an early twenty ten.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a while.
- 5:05Speaker 7: I don't know my.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I mean, I do trust Tyler.
- 5:10Speaker 3: So I remember that because I was working at the
- 5:12Speaker 3: grocery store at the time. So that's how I was
- 5:14Speaker 3: able to, like even all the boxes in the back.
- 5:18Speaker 3: And my mom hates it when my dad gets twinkies
- 5:21Speaker 3: and she specifically calls some cancer sticks. Yeah, so yeah,
- 5:25Speaker 3: and these are cigarettes, yeah, pretty much. And then you know,
- 5:28Speaker 3: that's how I knew that. Also the bacon was going
- 5:30Speaker 3: down because our store was closing for good and time.
- 5:33Speaker 7: Tyler worked there.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yeah, so every book disappearing.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Everything got marked down, so I bought all the bacon
- 5:40Speaker 3: we started in the freezer.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It lasted about six months. It worked out.
- 5:45Speaker 8: Back back to the getting kicked off the Disneyland ride
- 5:48Speaker 8: for being too fat? Were you the only one, yes, please,
- 5:53Speaker 8: the only one in your group who was not allowed
- 5:56Speaker 8: to ride?
- 5:57Speaker 4: Uh?
- 5:57Speaker 3: No, So they had to. They took everybody off and
- 6:01Speaker 3: then they split us up into like two other separate cars. Oh,
- 6:06Speaker 3: they wanted yeahad out. Yeah, it was basically to spread out.
- 6:10Speaker 5: They took everybody off and they're like, everybody, but you
- 6:13Speaker 5: get back.
- 6:13Speaker 7: On kind of.
- 6:14Speaker 3: So they took the first group and they're like spread out,
- 6:17Speaker 3: and then they took like the second group and they're like,
- 6:18Speaker 3: are you guys spread out?
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah. So I've been with Tyler when this has happened. Yeah,
- 6:23Speaker 2: we were on the well, we tried to go on
- 6:25Speaker 2: the Grizzly No.
- 6:26Speaker 3: We tried to go on a ghost Rider.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Ghost Rider yeah, yeah, a wooden roller coaster and they
- 6:31Speaker 2: want to let him on. We had to get off
- 6:32Speaker 2: the ride.
- 6:33Speaker 1: That was a bit of a wake up con seventy
- 6:35Speaker 1: pounds slider.
- 6:36Speaker 2: So yeah, it's great. So, yeah, I would love to
- 6:38Speaker 2: try it again, but he's super afraid of roller coasters that.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Hate so good. Yeah, Final Destination three scarred me for life.
- 6:45Speaker 7: So because when you're on the coaster, you're not allowed
- 6:47Speaker 7: to eat, is that.
- 6:48Speaker 1: No doubt it takes away from you. Don't want to
- 6:51Speaker 1: take three minutes of your eating schedule.
- 6:54Speaker 2: On top of that. So I also I did ask
- 6:58Speaker 2: his dad as Tyler like, disappointed you, you know, let
- 7:02Speaker 2: you down so currently, So one.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Of the things that Tyler did when he was younger
- 7:07Speaker 4: dad still annoys me to this day to no end,
- 7:10Speaker 4: was I believe he was working at the Woody Show
- 7:13Speaker 4: when he first started, and he wanted to buy a truck,
- 7:16Speaker 4: and he's kind of hinted about it, and I said, no,
- 7:19Speaker 4: you're not buying a truck. You got the car. That's
- 7:21Speaker 4: what you can afford, live within your means. So he
- 7:24Speaker 4: comes home with a nice, brand new truck that he
- 7:28Speaker 4: leased it set up. But and that was the beginning
- 7:32Speaker 4: of his troubles, way beyond his means. And he found
- 7:35Speaker 4: that out that for about a year year and alf
- 7:38Speaker 4: but I was just so mad. I just wanted to
- 7:40Speaker 4: just kill him, just to strangle it. And so I
- 7:43Speaker 4: had to help bail him out to get out of
- 7:45Speaker 4: that mess, and it took him a few years to
- 7:48Speaker 4: pay that off back to me. But uh, as a dad,
- 7:52Speaker 4: you just can't fix stupid, So.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Just leave you with that.
- 7:58Speaker 5: And that does he know that's how you became.
- 8:00Speaker 1: He is very well aware that is the origin of
- 8:02Speaker 1: the He supports it.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Too, And it's like we we thought, like, oh, this
- 8:06Speaker 2: guy has gone through life without any guidance, but he has,
- 8:11Speaker 2: but he just ignored it.
- 8:12Speaker 8: Yeah, can you get for folks who are fresh, can
- 8:14Speaker 8: you give the quick numbers on what that truck lease was?
- 8:16Speaker 3: Oh god, it was six hundred a month, and then
- 8:20Speaker 3: the insurance on top of that, I think was like
- 8:22Speaker 3: another two hundred sook.
- 8:23Speaker 7: The the total the total package, the term limit.
- 8:27Speaker 3: It was six hundred a month for I believe six
- 8:30Speaker 3: years least.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was a least.
- 8:33Speaker 8: At least yeah, which you know apparently that is the
- 8:37Speaker 8: norm now.
- 8:38Speaker 1: So I was just OK.
- 8:39Speaker 8: Because he does heavy construction outside yeah oh wait, no,
- 8:42Speaker 8: he didn't need to.
- 8:43Speaker 2: It made more than minimum wage.
- 8:45Speaker 4: He just can't fix stupid.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Also, we now know exactly what Tyler is going to
- 8:51Speaker 5: sound like in thirty.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, exact same boy and Unfortunately, his dad had
- 8:55Speaker 2: something really nice to say to him, just record that
- 9:01Speaker 2: he does love that Tyler has followed his passion in,
- 9:04Speaker 2: you know, wanting to pursue what he does now, and
- 9:07Speaker 2: he supports that, so he's happy that he's doing that.
- 9:10Speaker 2: That was cool, but it was a It was a
- 9:11Speaker 2: lovely dinner, and I hope to be having some more
- 9:16Speaker 2: dinners with some actual listeners. So on my Instagram later
- 9:19Speaker 2: at mens uh just follow there and I'll have some
- 9:22Speaker 2: instructions and maybe we can hang out at Lazy Dog together. Fun,
- 9:25Speaker 2: good times.
- 9:27Speaker 3: My parents had a blast. They loved Menas, so I
- 9:29Speaker 3: was like cool, everything worked out.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna get married to disappointed your dad's.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Do you really have a good relationship with your dad
- 9:38Speaker 3: if you don't disappoint him at least once?
- 9:39Speaker 1: Uh? Yeah, Okay, maybe we got more Woody Show coming up.
- 9:44Speaker 4: You just can't fix stupid show.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm so glad that we're back here on the Woody Show,
- 9:52Speaker 1: Woody and Jeff. She will be back on Monday, but
- 9:54Speaker 1: it's Greg Gory, Menace, Gina Yeah Seas, Sammy, Tyler, Benji
- 9:59Speaker 1: Morgan and probably some other people that I'm forgetting. Yes,
- 10:04Speaker 1: broke goat Thursday.
- 10:05Speaker 2: What the hell broke goat Thursday? Well, we have the
- 10:08Speaker 2: throw goat himself in the studio. His name is Tyler.
- 10:11Speaker 2: You have done the nine by nine challenge? How many times?
- 10:14Speaker 5: Uh?
- 10:15Speaker 1: Nine?
- 10:15Speaker 3: Nine nine challenge?
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:17Speaker 3: Twice, which is nine hot dogs, nine beers at a
- 10:20Speaker 3: baseball game and nine innings.
- 10:22Speaker 8: Nice that sounds, by the way. This is the full
- 10:25Speaker 8: like a full beard, a full hot dog. There's a
- 10:27Speaker 8: lot of stadiums when they saw this was catching on,
- 10:28Speaker 8: they said.
- 10:29Speaker 7: Oh, we're gonna do our own, but that give you
- 10:30Speaker 7: like little teeny dogs and the beer.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's got to be pretty easy, right.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Full dogs because the beard like you know, all the
- 10:39Speaker 2: carbonation that fills up. Well, this is a game but
- 10:44Speaker 2: amongst us and you guys can win a prize. And
- 10:48Speaker 2: what you're gonna do is I gave everybody blindfolds and
- 10:52Speaker 2: you're gonna put them on, and Tyler is going to
- 10:54Speaker 2: put something in his mouth and you're gonna have to
- 10:56Speaker 2: try to guess what it is by asking him questions. Okay,
- 11:00Speaker 2: all right, So I'm gonna give you a time limit
- 11:02Speaker 2: and whoever guests it first wins and the first prize
- 11:08Speaker 2: will be a hundred dollars visa gift card. So if
- 11:13Speaker 2: you can put on your blindfolds.
- 11:15Speaker 7: Okay, and do we go in order asking questions?
- 11:17Speaker 2: Is this like you can just shut him out. Yeah,
- 11:20Speaker 2: you can shout him out. Try not to talk over
- 11:24Speaker 2: each other as much. Okay, now here we.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Go putting something in his mouth.
- 11:30Speaker 2: He's gonna talk. You can put the first item in
- 11:32Speaker 2: his mouth right now, and you can start asking him
- 11:35Speaker 2: him questions. Now, I'm going to give you a time limits.
- 11:38Speaker 7: No questions or anything at all.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Anything at all, he's gonna have to try to talk
- 11:42Speaker 2: through it.
- 11:42Speaker 7: What's in your exactly?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Okay?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Okay? Yeah, by you know what it is? Here we
- 11:49Speaker 2: go two minutes on the clock right now.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Tyler, I would like to start by asking is this
- 11:54Speaker 1: something you would normally put in your mouth? No?
- 11:57Speaker 5: Is it edible?
- 11:59Speaker 1: No? Is it a toy of some sort? No?
- 12:04Speaker 7: Would you enjoy having this at home?
- 12:06Speaker 1: No? Is this something that you own? No?
- 12:10Speaker 7: It's a tampon? Yeah?
- 12:15Speaker 1: Wow, wow, how did you do that?
- 12:18Speaker 2: Well?
- 12:20Speaker 8: Know that he was the emphatic, knows he was giving
- 12:23Speaker 8: and everyone can see you check the cameras.
- 12:25Speaker 7: My my blind felt was fully on the entire time.
- 12:27Speaker 7: Uh and it did sound for whatever reason.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's cotton tampon is incredible.
- 12:33Speaker 8: The way Tyler talks is so wet, and he has
- 12:35Speaker 8: so much fluid that's in his mouth.
- 12:38Speaker 7: I picked up.
- 12:38Speaker 8: Oh, it's not his fluidy and like swampy is his
- 12:41Speaker 8: usual voices. It's not that slashing like sea shanty. It
- 12:46Speaker 8: doesn't sound like like like a bubble and mot of
- 12:49Speaker 8: just festering moldron like it's gotta be a tampa.
- 12:52Speaker 7: That's it's pretty well.
- 12:54Speaker 2: All right, job, Yeah, I owe you a gift cards.

- 13:24Speaker 1: No? So, is this a food item? No?
- 13:30Speaker 7: Sounds like Is it a household item?
- 13:34Speaker 5: Is it bigger than a fist?
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 13:37Speaker 7: Bigger than it seems like there's.
- 13:39Speaker 5: Something really bigger. Does it belong in the kitchen.
- 13:42Speaker 1: No. Is it soft?
- 13:44Speaker 4: Uh?
