5:00
SPEAKER_02: Okay, it worked, y'all.
5:05
SPEAKER_02: Jennifer Bunsa, happy belated birthday.
5:08
SPEAKER_02: Grandma had Kathy had a great man, Flo.
5:10
SPEAKER_01: You you wasn't on your job, man.
5:12
SPEAKER_01: How you gonna?
5:13
SPEAKER_01: I told you you're supposed to go to the game and let them know, like, hey, this is my birthday weekend.
5:18
SPEAKER_01: Y'all supposed to win.
5:20
SPEAKER_01: You you you ain't so it ain't all the calves fault.
5:24
SPEAKER_01: You ain't do your thing because you ain't you ain't let them know.
5:27
SPEAKER_01: You supposed to be Flo, let them know.
5:29
SPEAKER_02: Man, we was late.
5:34
SPEAKER_02: We had stopped, had some mimosas at uh House of Creole.
5:39
SPEAKER_02: Man, we ended up being a little bit late to the game, but I got there about 10.
5:43
SPEAKER_02: It was about nine, 10 minutes in the first.
5:45
SPEAKER_02: Like we went super late.
5:46
SPEAKER_01: House of Creole food, good as fuck.
5:49
SPEAKER_01: Oh man, man, and and that outside, and it was nice too.
5:52
SPEAKER_01: So y'all probably able to sit outside.
5:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but we didn't sit outside, but yeah, it's when it gets warm.
6:00
SPEAKER_02: We definitely be back, and we were going back to a calves game.
6:03
SPEAKER_02: She loved it, so we go we go right.
6:06
SPEAKER_02: We're going to another game.
6:07
SPEAKER_01: Hey, especially that uh oop from uh that Harden through the mother.
6:11
SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, that was crazy seeing it in live.
6:13
SPEAKER_01: I didn't know what is Harden doing, man.
6:17
SPEAKER_01: Hey, I seen it.
6:18
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, it was like you had it was moving faster than the camera.
6:22
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, yeah, then I just see Evan Mobley just jump out of nowhere.
6:26
SPEAKER_01: That look like they photoshopped him in the video.
6:28
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they came out flat in the first half.
6:31
SPEAKER_02: That's all like they didn't come out, they didn't that's all it was.
6:34
SPEAKER_01: Second, it was Donovan first game back too, and all that.
6:38
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, yeah, yeah.
6:38
SPEAKER_02: You can tell I ain't even worried.
6:40
SPEAKER_02: And of course, Jared Allen is huge.
6:42
SPEAKER_02: Now you see how big not having him is.
6:45
SPEAKER_02: Yep, and so before I go into everything, but uh the real reason of a big thing was they came out flat and they didn't come out with a purpose because it was too many shooters, and what's that big dude name?
6:58
SPEAKER_02: It was too many of them shooting in the first half.
7:01
SPEAKER_02: We playing the Celtics.
7:02
SPEAKER_02: You they was just throwing you and they and they changed it up in the second half, but that's why I said we good.
7:07
SPEAKER_02: I was I didn't go away from that game thinking, oh man, we can't mess with them.
7:11
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
7:11
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, oh no, uh no, oh no, no, they just got one of them.
7:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they just got Jason Tatum back, so he already got a chip on his shoulder.
7:18
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so yeah, yeah.
7:19
SPEAKER_01: Uh no, we ain't tripping by it.
7:21
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we ain't tripping, but anyway, y'all.
7:23
SPEAKER_02: See, Tuck, y'all got him up here.
7:25
SPEAKER_02: Y'all kept requesting us.
7:26
SPEAKER_02: Jennifer says she loves mimosas.
7:28
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, we love mimosa.
7:29
SPEAKER_01: Hey, for sure.
7:29
SPEAKER_01: I like this.
7:30
SPEAKER_02: I like the regular ones, but I I like the cranberry one.
7:34
SPEAKER_02: Oh, the cranberry one.
7:36
SPEAKER_02: Oh, we tried the cranberry one.
7:37
SPEAKER_02: I I think I gotta try that one.
7:39
SPEAKER_02: But uh, we had a peach one.
7:42
SPEAKER_01: Them good.
7:43
SPEAKER_02: We had uh shit.
7:46
SPEAKER_02: I was down so fast, I don't remember.
7:49
SPEAKER_02: If Shana didn't like it, then I drink hers too.
7:52
SPEAKER_02: Then she'd get a peach because Shana likes specific stuff.
7:54
SPEAKER_01: She'd be like, too.
7:57
SPEAKER_01: Hell yeah! You'd be like, yeah, oh, this ain't bad.
8:00
SPEAKER_01: Then you'd be up there sweating, taking off layers and shit.
8:03
SPEAKER_02: So if you're in the cleaver area, go to House of Creole, y'all.
8:07
SPEAKER_02: Uh, great mimosas, great seafood.
8:10
SPEAKER_02: I got steak and eggs.
8:11
SPEAKER_02: This that was good.
8:13
SPEAKER_02: Um, just a good time, man.
8:15
SPEAKER_02: But let's get to this Jay-Z.
8:17
SPEAKER_02: I mean, we're gonna talk about all kinds of stuff, but I thought I thought we would lead off with this little crazy Jay-Z story because it kind of just kind of confirms what everybody says about Jay-Z.
8:27
SPEAKER_02: Now, if you missed it, uh Michael Dyson, uh, the author, Baptist minister, public figure, had said some uh had kind of compared Kendrick Lamar to Trump in a way.
8:48
SPEAKER_02: And uh Jay-Z didn't like it, I guess.
8:53
SPEAKER_02: And uh Jay-Z called him to to and disagree with him.
9:01
SPEAKER_02: But then Michael Dyson came to the internet and talked about it.
9:06
SPEAKER_02: And to me, he didn't really say nothing too bad, I ain't think, but he he said that Jay-Z vigorously uh argued with him or or or or or or or said he didn't agree with him, and he it kind of implied that Jay-Z was aggressive.
9:21
SPEAKER_02: So after after Michael Dyson dropped that video, Jay-Z called him again and told him he didn't appreciate, he made him sound like he was aggressive, da da da da, and made him come back and drop another video.
9:35
SPEAKER_02: This video of Michael Dyson look like he was scared out of his drawers.
9:38
SPEAKER_02: Like, I said, What did GZ say to this man?
9:42
SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna try I'm trying to find the original, because it's been hard for me to find.
9:47
SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm like, did they scrub the internet or something?
9:50
SPEAKER_02: Trying to find the original.
9:51
SPEAKER_02: Okay, here it is.
9:52
SPEAKER_02: Here it is.
9:54
SPEAKER_02: This is what this is Michael Dyson and what he said originally.
9:58
SPEAKER_03: Explicitly and explicitly, not like us.
10:02
SPEAKER_02: Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
10:06
SPEAKER_03: Perfect anthem for the present president.
10:10
SPEAKER_03: For all those people explicitly and explicitly, not like us, is a perfect anthem for the present president.
10:18
SPEAKER_03: For all those people who think it's so revolutionary, oh my god, not like us, and they're dancing.
10:22
SPEAKER_03: Why do you think that song was so popular?
10:25
SPEAKER_03: I was at the Super Bowl when Hendrick Lamar performed on Phil, and the orange apparition was in was in the stands, and I didn't see a radical dissimilarity between that song and the theme of this man's presidency.
10:43
SPEAKER_03: You are not like us.
10:44
SPEAKER_03: You are, you know, Somalian, you are Ethiopian, you are Eritrean, you are, you know, Mexican, you are whatever, fill in the blank, you are Haitian.
10:55
SPEAKER_03: And so to me, that very theme, forget the song.
10:57
SPEAKER_03: The song is the song, absolutely.
10:59
SPEAKER_02: Okay, so whatever that take is.
11:02
SPEAKER_02: So, first, before we go to Jay-Z, scaring him straight for whatever reason, uh, like I said, now the whole point of me even covering this is just to put on the uh to show the point of what everybody makes, where they say Jay-Z is the type that will definitely call you immediately if he don't like something and and make you change your your stance or put some little pressure on you.
11:28
SPEAKER_02: Uh, what do you even think about what he was saying, though?
11:30
SPEAKER_02: I don't even really.
11:32
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I understand what he was saying, but I don't really, it don't move me.
11:36
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it it don't it don't move the needle for me neither.
11:40
SPEAKER_01: Even his comparisons, I think, were kind of light way to reach.
11:45
SPEAKER_01: Like, how could how could that how is that song correlating with the presidency for real?
11:51
SPEAKER_01: Right.
11:52
SPEAKER_01: Like that it is like you kind of trying to justify a wrong too.
11:58
SPEAKER_01: Right.
11:58
SPEAKER_01: So, like, yeah, so he it that that's like a that's a statement that got layers that got to get unpacked about that.
12:06
SPEAKER_01: But other than that, hey, I mean, I wouldn't get upset about it.
12:10
SPEAKER_02: Right.
12:11
SPEAKER_01: Where I was talking to you multiple times and threatening you and stuff.
12:15
SPEAKER_02: So chat and Apple and and and Spotify and everybody out there.
12:20
SPEAKER_02: Then uh after that, Michael Eric Dyson revealed in another video that Jay-Z personally reached out to him and strongly pushed back against Dyson's criticism of how Kendrick Lamar uh handled the feud with Drake.
12:38
SPEAKER_02: Um, so they were talking about the feud with Drake and Trump, like kind of all that.
12:42
SPEAKER_02: He talked about a lot.
12:42
SPEAKER_02: We didn't have time to play the guy's whole interview, whatever.
12:45
SPEAKER_02: And so Dyson said that Jay-Z vigorously disagreed with his comments about Kendrick attempting to strip Drake of his blackness during the beat, as well as the pedophilia accusations that circulated about Drake during the clash.
13:04
SPEAKER_02: This this was his and this is him telling that.
13:06
SPEAKER_02: This is this is Michael Dice.
13:16
SPEAKER_03: I could be wrong, to be sure.
13:18
SPEAKER_03: So I don't say it with the kind of arrogance that some of my interlocutors on the internet have suggested.
13:23
SPEAKER_03: And let me tell you something a very dear and good friend of mine disagrees with me bitterly.
13:29
SPEAKER_03: Well, I won't say bitterly, just aggressively and vigorously.
13:32
SPEAKER_03: His name is Sean Carter, better known as Jay-Z.
13:35
SPEAKER_03: Now, I don't usually talk about the conversations that Jay-Z and I have, because that's between us.
13:40
SPEAKER_03: That's why we remain friends, because I ain't out here bladding about what we talk about.
13:44
SPEAKER_03: But he hit me up and he vigorously disagreed with my particular position.
13:48
SPEAKER_03: He said it with dignity, he said it with respect, he articulated his ideal intelligently.
13:54
SPEAKER_03: I responded to him.
13:55
SPEAKER_03: We went back and forth for a minute, and I shared with him my essay, the 3,000-some-word essay I wrote in the Philadelphia uh paper, where I break down what's going on between Kendrick and Drake.
14:10
SPEAKER_03: And he was respectful.
14:12
SPEAKER_03: What I love about Jay is that he's not arrogant, and he's got more reason to be arrogant than anybody we're talking to, including myself on this darn internet and yet in social media, and yet he chose to be gracious, vigorous, clear, transparent about his disagreements, but he did not get nasty and vicious with me.
14:34
SPEAKER_03: So the point is that I'm saying we can disagree with each other and not be nasty.
14:38
SPEAKER_03: I understand that rap battle is a rap battle, and you're trying to exploit your opponent's um, you know, if it will, of vulnerabilities.
14:45
SPEAKER_03: But in an age of social media, it hits different when you call somebody a pedophile or when you make arguments about domestic violence.
14:52
SPEAKER_03: I understand that.
14:52
SPEAKER_03: It gets different when it resonates in a cultural vacuum uh or in a cultural arena where the Me Too movement, the progressive ideas of misogyny and sexism and patriarchy have prevailed, where we are far more sensitive and culturally appropriately so uh aware of the various forms of hurt and pain that women have to endure, and that gender plays a role that we have historically ignored.
15:18
SPEAKER_03: All that is true.
15:20
SPEAKER_02: Okay, so from that video where he is explaining what Jay-Z called and disagreed with him with, and so on and so forth, after that video, Jay-Z called him again and checked him because he felt like he said he was he made Jay-Z sound aggressive or something, or like he came aggressive to him.
15:49
SPEAKER_02: Um and I don't know if maybe he also felt a way about him even saying that he talked to Jay-Z about or like Jay-Z's opinion or whatever.
16:00
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
16:02
SPEAKER_02: To me, if Jay-Z called him and checked him about that, or or or or or whatever, to me that might have, to me, that was a little overboard.
16:10
SPEAKER_02: Like, I wouldn't, I would have just left that alone.
16:12
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
16:13
SPEAKER_02: But uh, what you think about that?
16:16
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it would like just like I was saying earlier, that that would have been a like even me and him was cool.
16:23
SPEAKER_01: That would have been like a little conversation where we would have had to like compare notes and like kind of like agree to disagree, but I'm not calling you multiple times about it.
16:33
SPEAKER_01: And we not about to make no whole ordeal.
16:36
SPEAKER_01: It ain't it it really ain't that serious for real.
16:39
SPEAKER_02: Right, you Jay-Z.
16:41
SPEAKER_02: But then, so then, so what?
16:43
SPEAKER_02: And then now, now I'm not, I'm just gonna play right now.
16:46
SPEAKER_02: I just want y'all to see his face.
16:48
SPEAKER_02: Now, this is the face when he after the second check, where he had to come back and just literally backtrack his own statement.
16:58
SPEAKER_02: Like he had to, like, I'm gonna play the sound, but I just want to see all the look on his face.
17:04
SPEAKER_02: He had to change.
17:06
SPEAKER_02: According to this, Jay-Z made him basically change what he said about how Jay-Z called.
17:13
SPEAKER_02: Like, he went from talking about he was vigorous to he was gracious.
17:17
SPEAKER_02: Like, so he kind of had to literally change what he said, like he didn't mean what he said.
17:22
SPEAKER_02: So what's happening is people already have this stigma against Jay-Z where they say, like Piers Morgan, they say behind the scenes, Jay-Z is very much a bully.
17:36
SPEAKER_02: So things like this kind of add fuel to that fire.
17:40
SPEAKER_02: So because they were all over the internet, like, damn, Michael Dykeson is just a Baptist minister.
17:47
SPEAKER_01: But then again, it's like, it's like, how you using intimidation intimidation tactics to it's like you, that's what it's like he using intimidation tactics to surround himself with yes man.
17:59
SPEAKER_01: I mean, because if somebody don't, if somebody I got a bunch of people that like, if I they don't 100% agree with stuff that I be saying.
18:08
SPEAKER_01: That's cool.
18:09
SPEAKER_01: I don't a hundred percent agree with a lot of shit that y'all do.
18:12
SPEAKER_01: Oh well, like if it ain't really like detrimental to nobody, hell for their household or nothing like that.
18:19
SPEAKER_01: Ain't no need to be getting bent out of shape about it.
18:21
SPEAKER_01: To me, but honestly.
18:23
SPEAKER_01: Right.
18:23
SPEAKER_01: But who who would who am I?
18:26
SPEAKER_01: Somebody might disagree with that.
18:27
SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
18:28
SPEAKER_02: Somebody might disagree with that right now.
18:30
SPEAKER_02: I'd be calling you a uh all kind of nasty.
18:32
SPEAKER_02: You hear me?
18:33
SPEAKER_02: But my point is this, like things like this, because by this being something so small, and I'm thinking maybe that's even why Jay-Z was mad that he put it out there like that.
18:46
SPEAKER_02: You know, and I'm not, and that ain't an excuse.
18:48
SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying that just adds fuel to the fire, Jay-Z, of why people think that you are a bully behind the scenes and you try to play it off.
18:58
SPEAKER_02: And think about it.
18:59
SPEAKER_02: If he will do that about a Kendrick uh Drake beef comment slash Trump, these people covering his stories, people like the Breakfast Club, people he can reach out to, imagine what kind of phone calls they might get.
19:21
SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
19:21
SPEAKER_02: This is some bullshit.
19:23
SPEAKER_02: This ain't even nothing serious.
19:24
SPEAKER_02: So if he's gonna do it about that, you know he calling if you cover a Rock Nation story or how opinion about Jay-Z and Beyoncé, he making calls and intimidating and shutting people down.
19:38
SPEAKER_02: So to me, through this story, where this story is just about an opinion that that that they had different, that difference of opinions and how it played out, it really adds credence to the people that say that Jay-Z be intimidating people, calling up media people, and all the stuff we kind of been hearing was proven right here.
20:05
SPEAKER_02: Like, like Jay-Z will do that, he will get on the phone and it intimidates to the point where look, this dude had to drop this video.
20:14
SPEAKER_03: And Kendrick, good morning, my friends.
20:17
SPEAKER_03: Michael Dyson here.
20:18
SPEAKER_03: On the way to the funeral of the Reverend Jesse Jackson, a man I've knew for nearly 40 years, had a tremendous friendship with.
20:26
SPEAKER_03: And the reason we were able to maintain and preserve our strong intimacy and bond is because he said stuff to me and I said stuff to him that didn't get to the public ear.
20:35
SPEAKER_03: I remember once when Kanye uh posted publicly a text exchange between us that was private, and I was hurt by that.
20:44
SPEAKER_03: And I'm thinking about that because I've done the same thing to Jay-Z.
20:50
SPEAKER_03: No, I didn't publicly post a text, but I talked about a private exchange between us that should have remained between us, uh, as it has for the last 20-some odd years.
21:01
SPEAKER_03: Um, so I want to apologize to him here.
21:03
SPEAKER_03: Why am I doing it here and not to him directly?
21:05
SPEAKER_03: Because the old black people said where you did it is where you get it, where you messed up is where you fed up.
21:11
SPEAKER_03: And that's what I'm doing.
21:12
SPEAKER_03: What was his main disagreement?
21:14
SPEAKER_03: Well, first of all, it wasn't a call, it was a text.
21:17
SPEAKER_03: That's what we do.
21:18
SPEAKER_03: We text about geopolitics, we text about the godfather and a myriad of topics.
21:23
SPEAKER_03: That is what our habit is.
21:25
SPEAKER_03: His main disagreement when I compared Kendrick in his line that like us to Trump in his trying to distinguish himself from others who weren't upon the same level.
21:37
SPEAKER_03: And Daisy said basically that that was uh a faulty kind of comparison.
21:42
SPEAKER_03: One is a rapper, the other is a far more sinister force.
21:46
SPEAKER_03: And he said, This is what rappers do they look at the vulnerabilities of and insecurities of their opponent and they exploit them.
21:55
SPEAKER_03: Why would he know that?
21:57
SPEAKER_03: Because he conducted one of the most famous rap battles.
22:00
SPEAKER_03: In the history of the art form.
22:03
SPEAKER_03: And so I mischaracterized him.
22:05
SPEAKER_02: He said So I'm gonna play the rest of it.
22:07
SPEAKER_02: But look at it, look at his face, man.
22:09
SPEAKER_02: This dude is scared, man.
22:11
SPEAKER_02: Look at his face, y'all.
22:14
SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z done made this dude call and apologize.
22:19
SPEAKER_02: I mean, make a video apologizing with this face.
22:25
SPEAKER_02: That Jay-Z disagreed with him about Kendrick and Drake and Trump.
22:33
SPEAKER_02: Like to me, these are the type of tea leaves that I pick out and start really understanding the truth behind shit.
22:44
SPEAKER_02: Like Jay-Z, you really do it too much, you really do too much.
22:48
SPEAKER_02: That's this look at this guy.
22:59
SPEAKER_01: Just because y'all didn't man, that that's that's that's preparation on some hip hop shit.
23:09
SPEAKER_02: So now, and I I and and and I'm gonna tell you, see, I haven't talked about it much.
23:14
SPEAKER_02: I didn't put like I didn't put a lot of stock in I didn't oh shoot.
23:23
SPEAKER_02: Hold on, hold on.
23:24
SPEAKER_02: Can you hear me, C Tuck?
23:26
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we I still hear you.
23:27
SPEAKER_02: Okay, I didn't put a lot of stock in what people used to say, like that Jay-Z was intimidating and calling behind the scenes.
23:35
SPEAKER_02: Because the examples that I had was like, okay, well, he made that call, uh put in that call to Piers Morgan about Jaguar Wright.
23:42
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I mean, whether you agree with it or not, she's saying some things where if you might want to say something or or get something shut down, you know, like I could kind of see why, even though you know what I'm saying, I wasn't I I I I kind of was I was kind of 50-50 on it.
23:58
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
23:59
SPEAKER_02: Like he do it, but then maybe he just do it in within good reason.
24:03
SPEAKER_01: But I'm still keeping my eye out because she was she was having a lot of lot of shit, right?
24:11
SPEAKER_02: From this situation, oh Jay-Z definitely tries to control narratives and will call you up and try to intimidate you if you putting out something that he don't like, because if he would do this about him, it's bigger than the fucking Kendrick Lamar Drake shit and Trunk.
24:31
SPEAKER_02: It's like you done called this guy and made him apologize.
24:36
SPEAKER_02: He done made three, four videos about this little little bitty topic.
24:42
SPEAKER_01: But my thing is he doing that for the he doing all that for that.
24:46
SPEAKER_01: Why he ain't doing all that for or coming out and having no statements dropped about the F things to right, right?
24:56
SPEAKER_01: Like that's to me, that's to me, something more severe where I call you multiple times, like hey, you you tripping.
25:04
SPEAKER_01: I call somebody multiple times about that.
25:06
SPEAKER_02: So see, Tuck, what you said is basically how could you call this man about a Kendrick Lamar Drake beef, but you ain't made no calls about being in them Epstein files and try to clear none of that up with nobody.
25:23
SPEAKER_01: Come on now.
25:25
SPEAKER_02: You ain't said nothing.
25:26
SPEAKER_02: Nothing, you ain't even addressed it.
25:28
SPEAKER_02: You too good and too big to even address it.
25:31
SPEAKER_01: I mean, if even if that's a reach, man, let me know.
25:35
SPEAKER_02: Exactly, right?
25:36
SPEAKER_02: That's what I said.
25:36
SPEAKER_02: Even if it's a reach, even if it's nothing, you don't he even put a statement out.
25:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think that's kind of arrogant.
25:47
SPEAKER_02: I mean, if if if and and I I I ain't no damn Jay-Z, but I'm saying, like, if something came out and they said Flo was in the F St uh in this files of him and Weinstein, something, whatever, I'm gonna come out and be like, damn lie.
26:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
26:02
SPEAKER_02: Even though it has no, it has no chance of being true, I'm still gonna make a statement because that is a huge story that's touching everybody's heart with victims who have not got justice yet.
26:19
SPEAKER_02: And if your name can't come up, you need to address it.
26:24
SPEAKER_01: Whether you don't want to be involved with nothing like that.
26:28
SPEAKER_01: You shouldn't want to be involved with nothing like that.
26:31
SPEAKER_02: Right, right, right, right.
26:33
SPEAKER_02: But you calling it and scaring the hell out of this little minister for an opinion on rap beef and Trump.
26:43
SPEAKER_01: Crazy.
26:44
SPEAKER_02: I said, Jay-Z, like I said, I was I was on the fence about if he really was that passive, aggressive, and bullying behind the scenes.
26:52
SPEAKER_02: I'm off the fence now.
26:54
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, shit, if you would do that about that, you damn sure calling people if if you don't like the way they they covering your your Beyonce or Jay-Z story or or some rock nation uh uh skeletons or whatever.
27:10
SPEAKER_02: And when I dropped that story, people's in my comments talking about I'm I'm about to get a call.
27:16
SPEAKER_02: Oh man.
27:18
SPEAKER_02: He got rabbit, what they call rabbit ears.
27:21
SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you ever heard that saying.
27:23
SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z got rabbit ears, and that means when anytime somebody says something, you gotta you gotta like call them like like like you gotta defend it or you get or you get butthurt about it.
27:36
SPEAKER_02: That's what they call people with rabbit ears.
27:38
SPEAKER_02: It's like they hear everything and they react to everything.
27:41
SPEAKER_02: So um, I'm off the fence as far as Jay-Z's and behind the scenes intimidation, he definitely does that.
27:48
SPEAKER_02: I don't care what nobody says.
27:50
SPEAKER_02: That's what I took from the story.
27:51
SPEAKER_02: See, that's what I do different than a lot of podcasters and content creators that that's that do journalism or that that are journalists.
27:59
SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't get stuck on what the actual story is.
28:03
SPEAKER_02: A lot of times I read people's character through stories, you know what I'm saying?
28:07
SPEAKER_02: So the fact that they arguing about Jay uh Kendrick Lamar and Drake and Trump, that don't really mean nothing to me.
28:15
SPEAKER_02: That that's that is what it is.
28:17
SPEAKER_02: I'm looking at that, I'm looking at how Jay-Z handled that.
28:22
SPEAKER_02: It could have been talk about apples and oranges and grapes.
28:25
SPEAKER_02: I'm just it's the same thing.
28:27
SPEAKER_02: I'm looking at the fact that Jay-Z reached out to this man multiple times to the point where this guy who felt like Jay-Z was a friend, but see, them ain't true friends.
28:38
SPEAKER_02: You think he thinks Jay-Z his friend?
28:41
SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z ain't his friend.
28:43
SPEAKER_02: See, he thinks he is friend.
28:44
SPEAKER_02: That's that manipulation shit.
28:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Jay-Z make him feel like a friend, but uh Jay-Z wouldn't have called 50 Cent and checked him about a conversation.
28:59
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
28:59
SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z wouldn't have called uh anybody with real power that he actually respected, whether he liked him or not, anybody he actually respected, you're not doing all that about like then he didn't he didn't say nothing like about a Jay-Z conversation that was like super confidential.
29:18
SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z, we all what since when is your opinion on hip hop confidential?
29:26
SPEAKER_01: Right.
29:27
SPEAKER_02: Since when is that like since when can somebody can't say, yeah, I said that that uh Kendrick stripped Drake of his blackness?
29:35
SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z disagreed with him, you know, during the beef.
29:39
SPEAKER_02: Um, when is that cause for calling the person and checking them to the point where I gotta come to the thing and apologize?
29:46
SPEAKER_02: And not only did apologize, we just didn't get to it because he was long-winded.
29:49
SPEAKER_02: I didn't want to hear, but but he actually even just changed that he went from saying that Jay-Z vigorously did not like disagree with him to like it was all gracious, and it's like I thought you said he was kind of aggressive and this and that, you know what I mean?
30:06
SPEAKER_02: But he totally changed all that, which of course Jay-Z must have told him, Hey, get on there, and it's funny, like I said, he probably did it because Jay-Z know the narrative, but he don't know that made the narrative sound worse.
30:20
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
30:21
SPEAKER_02: He probably was thinking like, damn, they already think that I'm aggressive behind the scenes and intimidating and controlling motherfuckers.
30:30
SPEAKER_02: Now he says that that makes it worse.
30:32
SPEAKER_02: But for him to retract his whole statement, he can't have his opinion, he had to retract his opinion.
30:40
SPEAKER_02: How you gotta retract your opinion?
30:45
SPEAKER_02: So, like I said, the reason why I thought that story uh was relevant is not because of the Kendrick Lamar, the Trump, the Drake shit.
30:55
SPEAKER_02: That shit is old news, and it is what it is.
30:59
SPEAKER_02: I think this story is relevant because there's been a long time there's been people, regular people like this in the chat, or regular people in my comments, and all the way up to lesser-known celebrities or media figures or journalists or any of that that have said Jay-Z.
31:18
SPEAKER_02: This is why a lot of uh media outlets don't cover Jay-Z shit like we do, because we're gonna say what it is.
31:25
SPEAKER_02: But like, let's say, like the Breakfast Club, that's a good example.
31:30
SPEAKER_02: Let's just use them because that's the main example.
31:32
SPEAKER_02: That's why if you notice the Breakfast Club, they don't really go hard on Jay-Z.
31:37
SPEAKER_02: You might not even really hear a lot of the Jay-Z story.
31:40
SPEAKER_02: They didn't mention that, Jay-Z, they didn't really did talk about it.
31:51
SPEAKER_02: They don't really talk, you know what I mean?
31:53
SPEAKER_02: Like, they don't really talk about Jay-Z stuff like that.
31:56
SPEAKER_02: No, but to force Michael Dyson into an apology for that, that's a lot.
32:08
SPEAKER_01: No, for sure.
32:09
SPEAKER_02: A public apology at that, like that would even have been something that if I did feel away, if I did feel away, I would holler at you just to yourself, but you I was you ain't gotta make no public apologize I would I will make sure, like, you don't even gotta do that, bro.
32:30
SPEAKER_02: Don't do that.
32:31
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
32:31
SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, you ain't got that.
32:32
SPEAKER_02: I'm just telling you, but it ain't that deep.
32:35
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, that's what I'm saying.
32:36
SPEAKER_01: Even if you're making a point about the the conversation being supposedly personal, not public.
32:42
SPEAKER_01: Bet, clear it up personally.
32:44
SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
32:45
SPEAKER_02: I wouldn't even want you to do no public apology as if it was that serious.
32:51
SPEAKER_02: Like it wasn't that serious.
32:53
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
32:54
SPEAKER_02: It was not that serious.
32:55
SPEAKER_01: I mean, he can then he could have he could have just made a statement like, yeah, I apologize about the previous videos, that was a personal conversation, blah blah.
33:03
SPEAKER_01: I would I look to no no longer cover any more of the anything pertaining to that subject and left it at that, and they could have cleared up whatever they had to do behind closed doors, like they were supposed to.
33:16
SPEAKER_01: Supposedly, yeah, man.
33:19
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, Jay-Z, you ain't beating them intimidation uh allegations, bro.
33:24
SPEAKER_02: That shit showed it right there.
33:26
SPEAKER_02: I don't care what nobody says.
33:28
SPEAKER_02: That right there showed that Jay-Z, you a little you got rabbit ears, and that's why he mad that that I'ma say it again.
33:36
SPEAKER_02: That is why he was so pissed that Dyson shared it.
33:40
SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you, that's not that's me.
33:42
SPEAKER_02: I don't know, like that's me speculating.
33:44
SPEAKER_02: That ain't no, I didn't get that from a source.
33:46
SPEAKER_02: I don't have no hardcore evidence, but I really believe that Jay-Z was really mad that he shared that Jay-Z called him and was vigorously denying him and and because it painted that picture that people have about Jay-Z behind the scenes.
34:03
SPEAKER_02: That Jay-Z don't like he don't like to show that he don't want to be known as that, but this this just showed it that you will call a motherfucker.
34:13
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, that being said, uh we can we can put that to bed unless you got something else to say about it.
34:19
SPEAKER_02: Uh C Tuck.
34:20
SPEAKER_01: Oh no, you know, we pretty much covered everything we can about that.
34:24
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so Jay-Z, you do be intimidated, motherfuckers.
34:27
SPEAKER_02: That's my point.
34:28
SPEAKER_02: Even in the people in the chat, anybody listen, my whole point is this is an example of Jay-Z intimidating motherfuckers.
34:35
SPEAKER_02: Y'all can argue, and we can argue about every other point.
34:38
SPEAKER_02: You can disagree and agree with this and that, but I'm not I don't even care about nothing else.
34:44
SPEAKER_02: What I took from this story is I finally have hardcore evidence that Jay-Z is very intimidating and controlling behind them scenes when it comes to you mentioning his name.
34:58
SPEAKER_02: That's all that's that's the only part I care about.
35:02
SPEAKER_02: I don't care about the Trump part, the Drake part, the the Kendrick part.
35:07
SPEAKER_02: Uh, I see Denny, I see somebody, I didn't see it.
35:10
SPEAKER_02: D said, um, you don't think you know Michael Eric Dyson?
35:14
SPEAKER_02: He do not scare that easily.
35:16
SPEAKER_02: Denise, with all due respect, whether he was scared or not, that ain't even I don't even care about that.
35:22
SPEAKER_02: I'm just being honest with you.
35:24
SPEAKER_02: You I what all I'm saying is the part that I'm focusing on because it's relevant to this to Epstein, it's relevant to Jay-Z being in the Epstein files, it's relevant to everybody who's been saying that behind the scenes Jay-Z has been intimidating not just witnesses but journalists.
35:43
SPEAKER_02: This is an example that Jay-Z will intimidate or try to control people when it comes to his name.
35:50
SPEAKER_02: That's all that's the only point I'm trying to make, and that's the only point I really want y'all to focus on because that's the only point that's relevant to what we continue to cover.
35:59
SPEAKER_02: We're gonna hear more about Jay-Z, we're gonna hear about more of the Epstein files, we're gonna hear more about Jay-Z maybe getting caught up in some other stuff, and so this recurring theme that Jay-Z intimidates behind intimidate people behind the scenes.
36:14
SPEAKER_02: We need to pay attention to it.
36:15
SPEAKER_02: And when that and as we go forward and we hear about it, we can go back to this scenario and say, here's an example where they wasn't even talking about nothing serious, and Jay-Z had this man apologizing, changing his story, dropping 50 million videos about a small subject.
36:33
SPEAKER_02: So that's all I want us to pay attention to because that is very relevant, um, um, to us going forward as we cover more of this Epstein stuff, this Jay-Z Diddy, and all of that.
36:46
SPEAKER_02: A lot of stuff that people have been saying, man, is turning out to be true.
36:50
SPEAKER_02: Like, like I said, I don't just jump with the wave, so I wasn't really riding the wave that Jay-Z be really super intimidating behind the scenes because I didn't have nothing that I felt was strong enough evidence, but this is it right here.
37:03
SPEAKER_02: To me, like, because I know if I man, Jay-Z would have I said, Man, don't be calling me with that boy, man.
37:10
SPEAKER_02: The fuck we got Iran wars, we got Epstein Files that you ain't talking about, and you calling me about Kendrick Lamar and last year, yeah, nah, bruh.
37:26
SPEAKER_01: It's bigger fish to fry out here, man.
37:28
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, uh-uh.
37:29
SPEAKER_02: So come on, uh C Tuch, what you got for us, man?
37:31
SPEAKER_02: Uh uh on topic number two, man.
37:34
SPEAKER_02: Man, what's been going on?
37:36
SPEAKER_01: Man, you heard man?
37:37
SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you heard or not, man.
37:39
SPEAKER_01: They gave old girl a two million dollar bond.
37:43
SPEAKER_01: Uh the uh Cleveland one, yeah, man.
37:46
SPEAKER_01: Two million dollar bond.
37:48
SPEAKER_01: She shouldn't have got no bond at all.
37:50
SPEAKER_02: Uh-uh, hell no.
37:52
SPEAKER_01: They should have just they should have just appointed, they should have appointed her to the damn firing squad or some shit.
37:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
37:59
SPEAKER_01: Hey, she don't she ain't she ain't deserved no bond.
38:02
SPEAKER_02: So so so give the people for those that don't know what you're talking about, C Tuck.
38:05
SPEAKER_02: Some people might not even know the story.
38:07
SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, I don't know.
38:08
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so the for the ones that don't know the story, I'm I'm referencing um the two little girls that was found dead in suitcase or dead unalive in suitcases.
38:19
SPEAKER_01: In Cleveland.
38:20
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, in Cleveland, Ohio.
38:22
SPEAKER_01: What last Monday or something like that?
38:25
SPEAKER_01: Well, last week.
38:28
SPEAKER_01: So community rallied together.
38:30
SPEAKER_01: Then it turns out it ended up being their own mother that did it.
38:34
SPEAKER_01: So they ended up arresting the mother.
38:36
SPEAKER_01: They get they like cleaned out the house, gathered whatever evidence they needed.
38:40
SPEAKER_01: So they ended up charging her with endangering children and murder.
38:46
SPEAKER_01: And they then Friday, I believe it was, they issued her two million dollar bond.
38:54
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, y'all, that and that story has gone national.
38:57
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
38:57
SPEAKER_02: Have you noticed that?
38:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, for sure.
39:00
SPEAKER_02: Everybody covering.
39:00
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, we're talking about the story where there were two young kids uh discovered the suitcases, like like uh C Tuck said.
39:08
SPEAKER_02: Um and they they found out the mother did it.
39:12
SPEAKER_02: Which did you ever find out how they found out the mother did it?
39:14
SPEAKER_02: Did she just did she confess?
39:17
SPEAKER_02: Did they see her on camera?
39:19
SPEAKER_02: Did they just have unfortunate?
39:20
SPEAKER_02: I think they had evidence.
39:21
SPEAKER_01: I think that it was evidence.
39:23
SPEAKER_02: Okay, I wonder what the uh do you know yet?
39:25
SPEAKER_02: They haven't shared they didn't, they didn't like I haven't seen it, that's why I asked.
39:28
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I haven't seen it.
39:30
SPEAKER_01: I haven't seen where they went in depth about it.
39:32
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I I I'll be on the lookout for that, but I ain't seen where they really because it's just everything just unraveled and been happening so fast.
39:41
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
39:42
SPEAKER_02: Cause Shauna, I I really I noticed that because Shana had asked me, like, well, how did they know it was the money?
39:47
SPEAKER_02: Like, how did they find out?
39:48
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, you know what?
39:49
SPEAKER_02: They didn't even say, I just know she was arrested.
39:51
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so you know they got hardcore evidence the way they did it, it wasn't even though they just went and got her.
39:56
SPEAKER_02: So we like you said, keep an eye on that.
39:58
SPEAKER_01: But anyway, he knows another kid that they removed from the home, too.
40:02
SPEAKER_01: And they they with uh children family services.
40:05
SPEAKER_01: Okay, good.
40:06
SPEAKER_02: But like you said, um um the kid that the uh the mother got a two million dollar bond.
40:13
SPEAKER_02: I don't think she should have had no bond, but I'm gonna tell y'all one thing Cleveland is not the richest city in the world, and a two million dollar bond, I'll be surprised if she gets out, right?
40:23
SPEAKER_02: Like two million dollar bond is like a two billion dollar bond in Cleveland.
40:27
SPEAKER_02: Um but for just for the sake of a perspective and how it looks and perception, she shouldn't have got no bond.
40:36
SPEAKER_02: You don't deserve a you don't deserve a 40 million dollar bond.
40:41
SPEAKER_01: That's too egregious, man.
40:43
SPEAKER_02: Now, one side note that's a sad part of that story, and this is for Mila or Mila, and uh what was the other Amor?
40:50
SPEAKER_01: That was the other name.
40:52
SPEAKER_02: Uh, they were between what were their ages again?
40:54
SPEAKER_02: Do you remember?
40:55
SPEAKER_01: It was uh 10 and 8.
40:57
SPEAKER_02: 10 and 8.
40:58
SPEAKER_02: Now, another side note backstory to that is, and a lot of people don't know this, and it's funny, when it comes to dads, sometimes we could be a little numb.
41:07
SPEAKER_02: But the father of I believe it was Mila.
41:12
SPEAKER_02: The father of one of those kids, I believe it's Mila or Mila, it's M-I-L-A, uh says that he had been fighting with the courts for five years.
41:25
SPEAKER_01: Man, he's trying to get his kid, bro.
41:27
SPEAKER_01: Trying to get his kid, doing like emergency, filing for emergency custody, ignoring them, and then getting like no appointments or nothing.
41:36
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, y'all, we got we got another.
41:40
SPEAKER_01: Her father was her father been locked up for the last eight years, but his family been reaching out to her to try to get the to like try to see the kid.
41:49
SPEAKER_01: And every time they get a line on her, she changed her number and move.
41:54
SPEAKER_01: But I I hope I hope that I hope they the fathers sue the fuck out out the county for real because they they really failed them kids.
42:03
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I and it always be like that when it comes to when it comes to fathers, bro.
42:08
SPEAKER_01: Like, you got the real live fathers that really try to be a part of their life, and they always get fucked around for real, or have to jump through hoops that just because they want to be a parent, uh, and they want to be an active part of their kids' life.
42:22
SPEAKER_01: And that shit ain't cool.
42:24
SPEAKER_01: Right, right, right.
42:25
SPEAKER_01: Especially for the ones that look like us.
42:27
SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
42:28
SPEAKER_01: We always get the short end of the stick.
42:30
SPEAKER_02: I was gonna say, and that's what I say, man.
42:32
SPEAKER_02: We gotta, we gotta give dads, we gotta get dads a little more, a little more credit, a little more, a little more power, man, in this system.
42:40
SPEAKER_02: Like we do, some, somewhere, somehow.
42:43
SPEAKER_02: Um, and this is a good example of it.
42:45
SPEAKER_02: Five years this dad fighting for emergency custody, nothing happened.
42:49
SPEAKER_02: But his own kid, but his own kid, and now that kid ain't here no more.
42:55
SPEAKER_02: And I would, I would, I would tend to believe if the if the if the kid was with the dad, that kid would still be alive.
43:04
SPEAKER_02: I just believe that.
43:05
SPEAKER_02: You know, I could be wrong, but I think that kid would still be alive had the dad got custody of that daughter.
43:12
SPEAKER_02: And um at the very least, um it's a sad story.
43:20
SPEAKER_02: But me being a black father, yeah, I'm telling you, we get played.
43:25
SPEAKER_02: We get treated because there are a lot of fathers who don't give a shit.
43:29
SPEAKER_02: There are a lot of fathers in this world.
43:30
SPEAKER_02: There are, there are a lot, I know them, I see them, but you can't treat all of us like that, and we all get treated the same.
43:38
SPEAKER_02: We get treated like as black fathers, and I've been through it.
43:42
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
43:43
SPEAKER_02: I've gone through all kind of shit.
43:46
SPEAKER_02: And I've been there from the beginning from in the for mine.
43:52
SPEAKER_02: And we don't get, we don't have much say so.
43:57
SPEAKER_02: We don't get treated uh seriously.
44:01
SPEAKER_02: Um, it's bad.
44:02
SPEAKER_02: And I and I tend to not you don't hear me complain about it much because it's like shit, is at this point, it's almost seems like not much we can do about it.
44:10
SPEAKER_02: But when a story like this comes up, it hits me a little harder.
44:15
SPEAKER_02: Because I know what that black father went through and how he got treated.
44:19
SPEAKER_02: The courts look at us as irrelevant.
44:23
SPEAKER_02: No matter the mama could be on crack.
44:28
SPEAKER_02: They still gonna take the they still gonna put the mama over us, and that's just the truth.
44:36
SPEAKER_02: And something needs to change with that, as as this story is a is a is a good example of that.
44:42
SPEAKER_02: Like and and this father been fighting for this daughter, emergency custody and filing stuff, and fighting and filing and getting absolutely nowhere, and then this daughter ends up in a suitcase.
44:54
SPEAKER_02: The system failed that girl.
44:57
SPEAKER_02: We got a system in place to keep that girl safe, and the system failed because of its biases against fathers.
45:08
SPEAKER_02: Because I'm not even I'm speaking for black fathers because I'm a black father that went through it.
45:13
SPEAKER_02: I do know white fathers that have the same gripes.
45:18
SPEAKER_01: No, for sure.
45:19
SPEAKER_02: My lawyer who helped me do a lot, he became a lawyer who fought fights for black for fathers because of what he went through.
45:28
SPEAKER_02: He white, so I ain't even saying so.
45:31
SPEAKER_02: That's why I really say it's just dads in general.
45:34
SPEAKER_02: I'm just speaking for black fathers because I am a black father, and I know from my experience personally, right?
45:41
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, man, that that story to to for her that made me even more sad, man.
45:46
SPEAKER_02: When I heard that part of it, because I because if you remember when it first happened, I was like, Where does dad?
45:51
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, everybody.
45:53
SPEAKER_02: I'm calling them out.
45:54
SPEAKER_02: Show you we keep it real.
45:55
SPEAKER_02: We were calling out the dads, where they at?
45:58
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
46:00
SPEAKER_02: So, like, where were they at?
46:01
SPEAKER_02: How do they not know what's going on?
46:03
SPEAKER_02: And then we find out this they've been hiding and keeping them kids from the dads and the family, and who knows what she was doing with these daughters, you know what I'm saying?
46:14
SPEAKER_02: So have them hidden like that, and then eventually they did, like was she trafficking them?
46:21
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
46:22
SPEAKER_02: Was she you feel me?
46:24
SPEAKER_02: Like, what something was going on for her to be feeling like she had to keep these daughters hidden from their families and their fathers.
46:34
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's a sad story, man.
46:36
SPEAKER_02: Just a very, very, very, extremely sad story.
46:41
SPEAKER_02: See, Tuck.
46:42
SPEAKER_02: What you think, man?
46:43
SPEAKER_01: No, for sure.
46:44
SPEAKER_01: 100%, man, a thousand percent agree with you.
46:48
SPEAKER_01: Like it gotta it gotta be it gotta get better.
46:51
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we gotta get better, we gotta do something about it, man.
46:54
SPEAKER_02: We we got a lot of dads who care a lot about their seeds and their their kids too, and we gotta really approach these things with a listening ear and be and be open and not just shutting down dads because we just everything goes to my because some of these moms, we got a lot of great moms out there.
47:11
SPEAKER_02: I got a great mom, love my mom.
47:13
SPEAKER_02: You know, it's a lot of great moms out there, but there's some moms out there that don't need to be moms.
47:18
SPEAKER_01: For sure.
47:18
SPEAKER_02: We need a system in place that can weave them out too.
47:22
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it'd be crazy because them same moms still be getting celebrated on Mother's Day and shit.
47:28
SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
47:28
SPEAKER_01: You don't be you don't be hearing no no no real man up there, like, oh yeah, I'm the mama and the father.
47:34
SPEAKER_01: No, like we won't be doing all that shit.
47:38
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we need to get fair.
47:40
SPEAKER_02: So we see Tug say you're gonna keep us updated on this story as it develops.
47:45
SPEAKER_02: Um, what else you see in the news?
47:47
SPEAKER_01: Um, sure.
47:49
SPEAKER_01: I seen where they done sent the damn, it was like a I think that's an E86 plane or something, like the little doomsday plane.
47:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
47:57
SPEAKER_01: Sent that motherfucker over to the Middle East.
47:59
SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
48:00
SPEAKER_02: So like nukes is on the table at this point.
48:02
SPEAKER_01: Is that what I'm hoping not, but they they making, they they doing a lot.
48:08
SPEAKER_01: You I don't know if you've seen the footage where they blew up the uh the U.S.
48:12
SPEAKER_01: blew up the oil depot in Iran.
48:15
SPEAKER_02: No, I didn't see that.
48:16
SPEAKER_01: Man, tell us about it.
48:18
SPEAKER_01: So they just sent missile strikes, blew up this oil depot that was in Iran, but uh they showed like video footage, like it was this person driving on the freeway.
48:30
SPEAKER_01: All you seen was just just black smoke just going up in the sky, firing black smoke.
48:36
SPEAKER_01: That's all just shooting high up in the sky.
48:39
SPEAKER_01: They said it started the smoke went so far up in the sky that it started raining, and when rain came down, it was black.
48:50
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, man, this this and then we already starting to see it like shit.
48:55
SPEAKER_01: What before like after what last week gas was like two something?
48:59
SPEAKER_01: I went and got gas yesterday, that shit 349.
49:02
SPEAKER_01: Damn! For the for the 87.
49:05
SPEAKER_02: It went up to 349 like that.
49:07
SPEAKER_02: Man, I guess we fill up probably like once a week.
49:12
SPEAKER_02: And last time we filled up, it was like, yeah, it was two something.
49:17
SPEAKER_02: I remember.
49:17
SPEAKER_02: So you saying that went up to 349?
49:20
SPEAKER_01: That's it.

SPEAKER_01: See North Carolina$297.
50:44
SPEAKER_02: D says uh D said gas went from$319 to$375 in a week.
50:50
SPEAKER_02: That's a big jump.
50:51
SPEAKER_01: Man, come on now.
50:54
SPEAKER_01: Shit, and then they doing this like coincidentally, now it's getting about to be jogging to the gym.
50:59
SPEAKER_01: It's getting warm outside.
51:01
SPEAKER_01: It's daylight savings time.
51:02
SPEAKER_01: Shit, motherfuckers about to be putting these cars out.
51:05
SPEAKER_01: Them cars got 93 in the motherfuckers, so you know what I'm about to be.
51:09
SPEAKER_01: That's a$75 trip to the tank.
51:14
SPEAKER_02: Damn.
51:15
SPEAKER_02: So uh when do we think these gas prices are gonna go down or any time?
51:20
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, as long as they still doing all that over there, shit.
51:25
SPEAKER_01: We gonna that's shit.
51:26
SPEAKER_01: That's gonna have the same ripple effect like the tariffs and all of that shit.
51:32
SPEAKER_02: Damn.
51:34
SPEAKER_02: Newsom got creepy little bitch just said newsome.
51:40
SPEAKER_02: 445.
51:41
SPEAKER_02: The South Finney says no time soon.
51:44
SPEAKER_02: 445.
51:44
SPEAKER_02: Grandma Kathy, grandma Kathy said 445 in Seattle went up about 80 cents.
51:52
SPEAKER_02: Basically a dollar.
51:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you might as well say a dollar a gallon.
51:57
SPEAKER_02: That 20 cents, hey, look, you that 20 cents gone.
52:01
SPEAKER_02: Man, that 20 cents from a dollar is gone.
52:04
SPEAKER_02: So you might as well say a dollar.
52:05
SPEAKER_02: Wow, y'all.
52:07
SPEAKER_02: Now, see, now one thing I like about me having a job where I don't have to be driving all over the place is when shit like this happens.
52:15
SPEAKER_02: Because I literally, you know, that's crazy.
52:18
SPEAKER_02: Think about the people who and some of y'all, or whoever that drive like a nice distance, because there's some people that drive a nice distance to work.
52:26
SPEAKER_02: This cuts into their money like for real.
52:30
SPEAKER_02: You're talking about a dollar a gallon, average tank holds about what?
52:34
SPEAKER_02: It's uh 20 gallons.
52:36
SPEAKER_01: How much that average tank?
52:37
SPEAKER_01: Average tank range anywhere from like 15 to 18.
52:40
SPEAKER_02: That's on average.
52:41
SPEAKER_02: 15 to 18 gallons?
52:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
52:43
SPEAKER_02: So you're talking about damn near, just say round numbers,$20.
52:50
SPEAKER_02: Uh it's affecting$20 a fill-up.
52:53
SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
52:55
SPEAKER_02: If that maintains in a year, you're talking about an extra hundred dollars or more.
53:00
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I mean a month.
53:01
SPEAKER_02: I mean, you're talking about an extra$100 or more gone in a matter of just cuz because we in war, and now you gotta pay a hundred dollars or more more a month just because of that.
53:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you wasn't counting on that.
53:15
SPEAKER_02: We already trying to fight with the inflation that we already dealing with, and the grocery stores and all that other shit.
53:22
SPEAKER_02: You said what, yeah, yeah, and grocery prices.
53:25
SPEAKER_02: So, so I'm glad, you know, and this is another thing.
53:28
SPEAKER_02: Why we why we're talking about it?
53:29
SPEAKER_02: Because this gives me a a uh a sense of what's going on in my dog grooming salon.
53:37
SPEAKER_02: Oh, perfect, creepy little beach.
53:38
SPEAKER_02: She said she she has seven acres and her dog grooming salon is on her property.
53:43
SPEAKER_02: See, that's a that's a beautiful thing, man.
53:45
SPEAKER_02: Because at least you can eliminate what they're doing with this gas, because you can't eliminate groceries, you gotta have groceries, which one day I do want to have a farm, though.
53:55
SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, this is my dream, y'all.
53:58
SPEAKER_02: And I'm on like we we want to get our property, and I and I want to have a staff because I know I don't know how to farm, and we don't want to have to, but I want to have a staff that farms and buy my own produce and my own chickens and whatever and vegetable and grow it and just have a staff that comes, you know, farm my shit.
54:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and so I have my own food from scratch, scratch.
54:23
SPEAKER_02: That's my dream.
54:24
SPEAKER_01: No, for sure.
54:25
SPEAKER_01: That's what I want to do too.
54:26
SPEAKER_01: I want to do, I want to have my uh have like a copper garden too.
54:31
SPEAKER_01: And like have like copper line that'll help like that help it grow.
54:35
SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
54:36
SPEAKER_02: Anything like that, yeah, yeah.
54:39
SPEAKER_02: Because then, man, not only is you getting fresh food, but I'm sure the cost, I'm sure the cost will have to be cheaper.
54:45
SPEAKER_02: I'm sure it's had to be cheaper.
54:47
SPEAKER_02: You don't need a million people, you wouldn't have to hire that, you know what I'm saying?
54:50
SPEAKER_02: A million people, and then I'm sure the actual you know, materials.
54:55
SPEAKER_02: When I say materials, I mean like the chickens and the and the vegetables and whatever all that shit you need.
55:02
SPEAKER_02: I'm sure that you know what I'm saying, it's relatively cheap.
55:05
SPEAKER_02: You buying it straight seeds, and you know, I mean, whatever.
55:09
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, I that's my dream because that's why I like working from home, because I just try to like insulate myself as much as possible from all these up and downs that we go through in this world, you know what I mean?
55:22
SPEAKER_02: Like this shit, you know what I'm saying?
55:24
SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, boom, an extra dollar for every across the board is damn near a dollar more, you know what I'm saying?
55:30
SPEAKER_02: Just overnight.
55:31
SPEAKER_02: Like I said, just when the you telling me I didn't even know this time, last time we filled up, it was two something.
55:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we filled up in the new three, whatever you're saying it is now.
55:41
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that means like a a a$50, a$50 fill up, then damn near went to$70.
55:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
55:54
SPEAKER_01: Pretty much.
55:55
SPEAKER_02: Look at this.
55:55
SPEAKER_02: Look at the South Finder say.
55:57
SPEAKER_02: This is what I'm talking about.
55:58
SPEAKER_02: Uh the South Binder says I drive a Yukon XL and it was$80 to fill up.
56:03
SPEAKER_02: Now I'm at$95.
56:05
SPEAKER_01: Told you.
56:07
SPEAKER_01: Told you.
56:17
SPEAKER_02: He said all company price are they price gouging.
56:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they definitely get at least uh we gotta get at least a uh SUV.
56:28
SPEAKER_02: At least um, definitely I'm gonna hit you up.
56:30
SPEAKER_02: Send me a DM and let's see what we can make happen for sure.
56:34
SPEAKER_02: This is the time, so uh definitely hit me up.
56:37
SPEAKER_02: Let's see.
56:38
SPEAKER_02: They say they just keep chipping away.
56:40
SPEAKER_02: Uh creepy little beach says, Yep, my hubs became disabled.
56:44
SPEAKER_02: Get him a green, get him a greenhouse and chickens.
56:47
SPEAKER_02: He can't walk well at the moment, so I got him a golf cart and off he goes.
56:52
SPEAKER_02: That's great.
56:54
SPEAKER_01: That's dope.
56:54
SPEAKER_02: That's dope.
56:55
SPEAKER_02: I'm glad, yeah.
56:55
SPEAKER_02: I'm glad to hear that, and thanks for sharing that.
56:57
SPEAKER_02: That's the type of shit I like to hear.
56:59
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, I really like to hear stuff like that.
57:02
SPEAKER_02: How how we can overcome this stuff and still make it comfortable for each other.
57:06
SPEAKER_02: You know, it's always a way, it's always a way.
57:09
SPEAKER_02: You just gotta just gotta think and work through it.
57:13
SPEAKER_02: But um, but uh, I like to hear uh creepy little beach.
57:17
SPEAKER_02: Um, thanks for sharing that.
57:18
SPEAKER_02: What you think about that?
57:19
SPEAKER_02: Uh no, that's dope.
57:21
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's dope, baby.
57:24
SPEAKER_01: He's zoomed, yeah.
57:25
SPEAKER_01: He gotta, he got to go.
57:28
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
57:29
SPEAKER_02: No, that's that's that's dope.
57:30
SPEAKER_02: That's dope.
57:32
SPEAKER_02: Let's see.
57:32
SPEAKER_02: We that somebody said we yeah, hey, I want an electric bike.
57:37
SPEAKER_02: Man, indigenous girl says we ride electric bikes.
57:40
SPEAKER_02: I hey.
57:42
SPEAKER_01: No, I want the bike with the I just I just want like a nice little bike with the fat ass tires.
57:49
SPEAKER_01: That's what I it can be a pedal bike.
57:51

58:10
SPEAKER_02: I just jogged.
58:11
SPEAKER_02: Hey, look, let I I I jogged from it before, but I might be my thing.
58:15
SPEAKER_02: I might be jogging uh to the damn gym, fooling with these gas prices.
58:20
SPEAKER_02: Man, I'd rather burn my own energy.
58:22
SPEAKER_02: My own energy is a lot cheaper than this gas, right?
58:26
SPEAKER_02: And I do a cool down anyway.
58:27
SPEAKER_02: I jog about a mile and a half on my cooldown.
58:30
SPEAKER_02: That's about the distance from me to the gym anyway.
58:32
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, this is crazy.
