- 3:01Welcome back to the Duckfellas Podcast, episode 28.
- 3:06Today, it is hosted by Zach and myself, Tyler.
- 3:11Do us a favor, make sure you hit that like button or subscribe while you're
- 3:14tuning in today, tomorrow, whenever it may be.
- 3:18Just do it. Please. Be like Nike. Just do it. We're struggling out here.
- 3:24It's rough in the trenches.
- 3:29How you been, buddy? It's been a bit, a few weeks since we've done one.
- 3:33We missed last week. We were all a little too busy.
- 3:35I was like busy and a little tired after a long weekend of the banquet and everything
- 3:40else. So, you know, been busy, busy as usual. Work's picking up.
- 3:44Just trying to, you know, move in and stuff like that.
- 3:48Yeah, and I don't think we've had a podcast since you closed on your house and started moving. Nope.
- 3:57We closed two weeks ago, Friday.
- 4:00So it's exciting. Yeah, it was super exciting. Went from a five-minute drive
- 4:05to work to a 35-minute drive to work, but...
- 4:07Can't beat it. I don't have any neighbors, so I'm going to take it.
- 4:11That is a plus. I enjoy not having any neighbors anymore.
- 4:15And every evening and every morning, there's a small flock of geese that sit
- 4:21across the road on the pond, so I get to listen to them honk every morning.
- 4:24They talk in the evening when they get up and go right back.
- 4:28Yeah? you're standing out there
- 4:29just flipping them off oh yeah yeah come follow them guys are screwed,
- 4:35that's awesome well I guess before we get going here we'll mention we are coming
- 4:41to the end of the giveaway that
- 4:43we are going to do it on our next podcast which won't be next Monday but,
- 4:48probably the following Monday it'll be here in June I believe,
- 4:52so make sure if you haven't yet you get entered in that contest.
- 4:57It's pretty easy. You can go out there and win yourself Alps Layout Blind.
- 5:01Sick blinds. They're not bad.
- 5:05They're a lot better than my first one. My first one was just laying out there
- 5:10and hiding underneath the decoys.
- 5:12Well, I don't think they've invented Layout Blinds yet when you were starting out.
- 5:15Oh my god. No, we had those big goose shells you hid under. Oh my god.
- 5:19Yes, with the little like three above your head.
- 5:22Yeah. Yep. Good. Yeah.
- 5:26Times were good back then, though. The mega hunker. Jesus. Oh, man.
- 5:32Yeah. But no. So, not many entries, but I don't care. We're going to run it
- 5:38anyways. So, people that are entered, you have a very solid chance of winning.
- 5:42To the people that aren't entered, sucks to suck. And they would know.
- 5:47Yeah. Yeah, they might.
- 5:50So we're going to touch on this at the end of the episode, but since our last
- 5:54podcast, some news has kind of came out in the state of Oklahoma,
- 5:58passed some new guide regulations that,
- 6:02I don't know if it's going to make a big difference, but it's a step in the
- 6:05right direction compared to like some states.
- 6:07Like I think here in Iowa, we don't have any regulations for guides. Yep.
- 6:12Yeah. So that definitely helped with the, with some, like you said,
- 6:17we're going to touch on it again towards the end here, but we'll definitely
- 6:19help. with some exploitation, if you will.
- 6:23Right. So. It'll be interesting. I'd like to see a lot of states kind of implement
- 6:29some stuff since waterfowling has really blown up in the past 10 years from what it used to be.
- 6:35Well, as you should, you know, I know we kind of talked about it with Iowa having,
- 6:39I'm 99% sure you do have to have a license for deer, right?
- 6:45So why would you, I mean, any waterfowl or migratory birds a federal deal.
- 6:51So why would you not make that for you have to as well?
- 6:54Yeah no exactly it's kind of wild that i mean i didn't know we didn't have it
- 6:58i kind of had a feeling we didn't and then we were talking about it before the
- 7:02podcast where you thought we did,
- 7:04and uh i i'd assumed with just i mean just kind of like how our our dnr you
- 7:08know they try to do the best for what's in the the wildlife and the management
- 7:12everything else whether it ends up like that or or comes across like that,
- 7:16but i assumed we we did but no we were i was wrong so right Right.
- 7:22Kind of crazy. But like we said, we will circle back to that.
- 7:26We just thought we'd touch on that a little bit right away. And now we're going
- 7:29to move into what kind of recap the Delta banquet we just had here last weekend.
- 7:35And why don't you go ahead and kick it off here with you being on the committee and all.
- 7:39Yeah. I mean, fantastic turnout, right? We sold out, gave away a lot of cool
- 7:44stuff. We had a good turnout. Some guys that definitely showed up willing to
- 7:49spend some money for the right cause. Yes.
- 7:52Had a record-breaking year as far as what we made and which is great right because
- 7:56we would turn that by right back around and put it into the habitat and making
- 7:59more ducks and duck hunters here in iowa so,
- 8:02well right then the more money you guys bring in at that the more you get to
- 8:05keep here locally and put in public areas here or however you may be,
- 8:10yeah and it's you know obviously there's some there's some fees and stuff like
- 8:14that that a lot of people don't see or realize but i know we're.
- 8:20Probably 25% more than certain other national organizations.
- 8:27No names. No names. Nope. I'm not trying to start.
- 8:31I'm not trying to have somebody tell me to go count carpet fibers or anything in the comments.
- 8:35No kidding. Oof. That'd be rough. So, yeah. It was great. Turned out.
- 8:40It was an awesome weekend.
- 8:41Yeah, it was honestly a packed house in there. and it was hotter than hell in that place.
- 8:49Man, I was running around like crazy.
- 8:52I was trying to help where I can and working a couple different games there
- 8:55and stepping in where we needed a little more help.
- 8:59But, man, you could get two or three laps around that building and I was wet from top to bottom.
- 9:07Yeah, and so this was the first year in that venue and you guys packed it right
- 9:13away. So, I mean, maybe next year, maybe next year we even go bigger.
- 9:17I mean, is there another bigger venue close to us?
- 9:20I got, I have a contact actually that talked to me that night about moving the
- 9:24venue would be bigger and a seed.
- 9:27So I like it already. Yeah. There's going to be some conversations to be had
- 9:31and some logistics to go through and stuff like that. See if we can make it
- 9:34work. Right. But I think if, if it all works out the way that we talked,
- 9:38it's going to be really nice.
- 9:41Be able to fit another hundred people and like I said AC is a big one.
- 9:46I mean, when it's hot and humid like it was that day, it does make a big difference.
- 9:50Because that room was, it was steaming. But it just made you drink more beer to stay hydrated.
- 9:57Exactly. We had nice cold bush lattes there for you guys. And obviously,
- 10:03I think what's the way some of those things were selling?
- 10:05There were some guys that were going down pretty smooth.
- 10:09But that's the goal, right? That's what you want. I mean, that's why you serve
- 10:14alcohol at these shindigs. is, you know, sometimes people get to drink a little
- 10:18too much and start spending some extra money.
- 10:20That's a lot of times Czech buts are like women. The more you drink, the more they open.
- 10:25Nothing wrong with that. It's going to a good cause for the most part,
- 10:28so spend it while you got it.
- 10:33Speaking i mean speaking of there was a i mean a couple things i had my eye
- 10:36on that were you know for for those that weren't able to make it with a really cool sprint car wing,
- 10:42with all of our sponsors on it and just happened to have a duck fellas logo
- 10:46on it as well and i think somebody in this chat went ahead and took it home that night,
- 10:51yeah i believe someone did yeah it's gonna be badass here hopefully next couple
- 10:56weeks or month or whatever we get that in the background onto your screen there.
- 11:00Yeah, that would be pretty sick. It turned out really well. I was kind of surprised
- 11:04that it went as low as it did, being Knoxville, being a big sprint car town.
- 11:09It is. It's kind of a gamble, I guess, with that, something like that at a hunting venue.
- 11:13Because, I mean, honestly, most people can't afford to race and hunt.
- 11:21But I thought most hunters are race fans, especially in our area.
- 11:25Yeah, no, I agree. And I thought it was going to go over well.
- 11:28I wouldn't, I wasn't, I mean, my personal guess on it was about a hundred bucks
- 11:32more than you paid for it.
- 11:34And I thought that's where it was going to bring and fell up just short of that, but good for you.
- 11:38I mean, and good for us. We didn't, we didn't have, we didn't have a 10th of that in it. So.
- 11:44Right. No, I mean, that's it. It was a cool thing.
- 11:48I got it cheaper than I thought I would, to be honest with you,
- 11:50me and me and Cade were talking about splitting it if it got so high so we can
- 11:53make sure we get it, but it went cheaper than we thought and yeah i mean i'm happy yeah,
- 12:00you're happy we're happy and that's all that matters right the only complaint
- 12:04i had other than no ac on the whole deal,
- 12:08was we gotta have more prints next year my guy and colton i see you in the chat
- 12:13here i know you're listening more prints and i know it's the auction in silent auction.
- 12:20Yeah, I mean, and I will say the two prints that I was eyeballing went for a,
- 12:26pretty penny. And I was like, I'm glad they did. But that just should reinforce
- 12:29to us that, yeah, we're going to work on getting some more.
- 12:32It'd be nice if we could find, you know, whether we can find them,
- 12:35donate them, buy them, whatever.
- 12:37Some old Terry Redlands or even maybe an old Larry Zach or something like that
- 12:42to get a few more into the auction.
- 12:45Right. I mean, for me, that's one of my favorite things to go there and bid on or look at.
- 12:50The prints you know it's just I love them I'm terrible about it,
- 12:54we were moving and I've got a stack I mean you can't even see my hands but you
- 13:00know a stack of prints in the basin where I was like what are we going to do
- 13:03with these and I'm like hang them on the wall duh.
- 13:07What kind of question is that we're trying to build a nerd baby so I was like
- 13:12I got to make sure this kid grows up like in duck hunting so we need to start
- 13:16swapping some duck prints up on the wall right there you go And, you know,
- 13:22all in all, like you said, it was a great event.
- 13:25I feel like we had some really great people there. Everybody got along.
- 13:28It was a good time. You know, people mingling and chatting with each other.
- 13:32And I'll give hats off to the whole committee crew that put it on,
- 13:36and especially Colton. I feel like Colton does quite a bit, and he takes a lot
- 13:40of pride in how that event goes off. Easy.
- 13:44I can feel his head getting bigger from here. Yeah. Well, it can't get much
- 13:47bigger until it just blows up. Yeah.
- 13:51No, seriously, Colton does do a lot of shit, you know, the shit part of the job. So hats off to him.
- 13:58Like I said, hats off to everybody. There was a couple, I mean,
- 14:01a couple guys that fell short. So I told Colton, you know, you got to cut dead
- 14:06weight, man. But everybody else that showed up and helped, it was awesome.
- 14:09They all stepped up where they needed to, so.
- 14:13No, for sure. Absolutely good time. He knows how to kind of promote a deal too.
- 14:17And y'all did a good job all year long kind of putting that together and once
- 14:22you got it figured out and starting to share it out and sold out so can't complain
- 14:26about that yep yep can't wait to do it good next year.
- 14:31Yeah it'll be here before we know it too just like hunting seasons it feels
- 14:34like it's coming on strong,
- 14:36i was literally going through totes in the garage uh this week and i was like
- 14:41oh i don't need to do that you know i'll just push the hunt toast to the side
- 14:44right now go through this later and like on the plane right out here i was like
- 14:48oh my god i'm like september's gonna be here in a blink of an eye,
- 14:53it is and unfortunately for me this year i'm not gonna get a hunt much until
- 14:57the second half and later on in the season because with work this year and buying
- 15:01a house and trying to build a shop and spending money like i'm made of it,
- 15:05i'm just gonna work through november this year and i'll be off december and
- 15:09january probably so get plenty of hunting and then,
- 15:13i mean for two other people in this,
- 15:16this podcast group works out pretty well yeah yeah yeah.
- 15:23The Delta Expo, that's our next big thing coming up. I was going to say,
- 15:27speaking of spending money.
- 15:29And that's coming quick, too. I mean, we're into July, but we're already into
- 15:34June here, and we're already over a week into June.
- 15:37I was actually doing some numbers in my head the other day and counting some
- 15:41cash in the safe, and I was like, all right, I need to set this back.
- 15:43I'm going to set that back because I don't want to try to buy this.
- 15:46And then I went, oh, my God. I was like, I only got one more paycheck until
- 15:49the Expo. Maybe I'm not going to spend that much money. Yeah.
- 15:55Yeah, it feels like it's coming on strong, but I'm looking forward to that.
- 16:00It's something, and we've discussed it before, this is an event that does not
- 16:03come around very often, and it hasn't been here yet.
- 16:07This is going to be the first year that we have it in Des Moines,
- 16:10and I've heard rumors and murmurs that it's going to be back within the next
- 16:14year or two or three, something like that again, and then it'll probably be gone for a while.
- 16:19Yeah, and this is one I've had my eye on for Colton, Bradley,
- 16:23and Corey Swankin and Tessa, and I got a message to them both the past two years.
- 16:27They were going out of state and going to it, and I was like,
- 16:29this looks like such a freaking blast.
- 16:33All the new products and the things you're going to see there.
- 16:36So yeah, when I heard it was coming to Des Moines, we were pretty stoked about it. Yeah.
- 16:41As soon as I heard it was coming to Des Moines, I pretty much wrote it down
- 16:44in the calendar at work that I will not be at work those three days.
- 16:49Yep. Just because of the people. I mean, we're going to have people from all
- 16:52over the country that just live and breathe this, the same thing we do and you'll
- 16:57get to talk to him, see him talk. I mean, hang out.
- 16:59It just an overall good time.
- 17:02Yeah. I mean, and obviously the, the banquet's Friday night,
- 17:06so that's going to Friday, right?
- 17:08Yeah. So that's, that was the next thing we're going to go into.
- 17:11Here's the schedule. Oh yeah. So go ahead and hit up Friday.
- 17:14Like tell us how it was on Friday.
- 17:17Probably just be nice, you know,
- 17:18obviously all your vendors can be there early, but doors open at noon.
- 17:22So they'll do that celebratory ribbon cutting and the floor will open.
- 17:26The show will run till six, thereabouts, between there.
- 17:31So one to five is there's going to be some seminars and sessions.
- 17:34I don't know exactly which ones are in there, but obviously there's going to
- 17:37be some good ones. I can imagine hunting scenarios and calling and everything else.
- 17:42But then you have the fun one, which is probably going to cause some pain Saturday morning.
- 17:475.30 to 10 is the banquet there at the Expo.
- 17:52So I don't know if it's going to be more of a hangover or more of a regret or
- 17:56more anxiety, depending on what my checkbook looks like after Friday night.
- 18:00Well, I'm hoping. So we bought a table to that for the Duckfellas podcast.
- 18:04And I haven't got an email back on that table. I paid for it,
- 18:09what was that, like a month and a half, two months ago now, probably? It's been a while now.
- 18:13I mean, it was pretty close to when they first started selling tickets to the Expo.
- 18:18And the banquet. I think it was that weekend because I know we talked about
- 18:23it when tickets were going on sale and I was like, yep, we'll find people to
- 18:26fill it. Let's just buy one and go.
- 18:29Right. So I'm hoping as it gets closer, I get an email about it or I don't get
- 18:34an email about it and we show up Friday and we just really hope that we have a table.
- 18:39That they do have eight tickets for us. Yeah.
- 18:42No, I think, if I'm not mistaken, that one's 10. Is it 10?
- 18:47Yeah, I believe the tables are 10 people at that banquet because it was two
- 18:51more than what our local banquet was.
- 18:54Oh, yeah. Yeah, so it'd be 10 a table. Yeah. And then there's dinner.
- 19:00Oh, Colton said we're on the list.
- 19:03Is that like a list of you have a table or is that a you're on the waiting list
- 19:07for a table? Probably on the waiting list. A bunch of losers trying to come to our banquet.
- 19:12Duck fellows, like, no. They're not allowed.
- 19:17That's going to be a fun one. I really look forward to that,
- 19:21seeing all the stuff they have there at that banquet. That should be an absolute blast.
- 19:28Yeah, I'm really stoked because I think there's going to be,
- 19:31I think there's definitely going to be, I mean, I think there's a lot of new
- 19:33products or stuff that's coming out, but I think there's going to be a couple
- 19:36that are going to be really interesting, really grab your attention.
- 19:38So hopefully that's the case.
- 19:41Selfishly, I'm hoping to run a slight sale on some waiters, an expo special on some waiters.
- 19:48They usually do. I know. They usually do.
- 19:51$1200 is going to hurt. Well, you heard it here first. We do have a table.
- 19:57Perfect. Yeah. Is he at our table?
- 20:01No, I think he's a Delta table, if I remember right. I dodged that one.
- 20:07I'm just saying we had him at a table at the ISC banquet, and he bid on a vacation
- 20:13for somebody else. It was at Lake Red Rock.
- 20:15Oh, my God. Yeah, it was a bad deal.
- 20:19That kid got all fired up. So all I know, you're sitting at the table with Bradley.
- 20:24Hide your numbers. Absolutely. Noted.
- 20:28Let's go ahead and move into Saturday here. So it's going to be doors open at
- 20:339 a.m. and the expo runs till 5 p.m.
- 20:36Then you have your seminars and sessions in the middle there from 10 to 4.
- 20:40But in the middle of the day, there is a Delta Grand National Double Reed Duck
- 20:46Calling Championship contest.
- 20:48So that should be interesting.
- 20:51I'm really, really looking forward to that.
- 20:55Have you ever been to a calling competition? Nope. And that's why I'm just stoked.
- 20:58I mean, obviously I've seen them online, watched videos of them,
- 21:02but I'm stoked to see when I'm in person.
- 21:05Yeah, it's kind of cool to watch the competition and hear the different styles
- 21:09of calling and the different caliber of callers that come out.
- 21:13It's always cool to kind of not just compare yourself to kind of how they sound
- 21:19because competition calling is a whole different animal.
- 21:21I used to do it myself years ago, and you don't use any of those except for
- 21:26when you're highballing and screaming at them in a long distance.
- 21:31They're always fun to watch. I enjoy watching them and going to them.
- 21:34And I believe, I don't know if this is an evening, but there's a Champions of
- 21:39Delta luncheon and then banquet events is what it says here.
- 21:43I don't know what banquet events are.
- 21:46I'm sure if there's somebody in the chat, old CB could comment and give us some
- 21:52sort of information maybe because I'm not entirely sure.
- 21:54This will be my first expo as well as you. So I'm not sure what to expect there.
- 21:59But yeah, that is the evening, which I assume is starting at 5.
- 22:04Yeah, I would assume. I don't know. I don't really know. Well,
- 22:08the luncheon, I think, would be in the afternoon.
- 22:11Yeah, but then you got the expo ends at 5. You wouldn't think they'd try to do it.
- 22:16I don't know. I don't know. All I know is I'll be asking everybody what bar
- 22:19we're going to after the expo gets done.
- 22:21You son of a bitch, I'm in. Because I believe we got the hotel room for two
- 22:25nights, right? Friday and Saturday? Yep. We sure do.
- 22:29Yeah, so, I mean, I think maybe Saturday we hit up Prairie Meadows so I can
- 22:33maybe win some money to spend at the expo.
- 22:36Unless you don't have any money left over from the banquet Friday night.
- 22:40I didn't think about that because that's a very real possibility.
- 22:43We might have to set some money aside Friday morning when we get to the hotel
- 22:47or Friday afternoon when we get to the hotel and leave it in the room for the next day.
- 22:53$1,000 straight in the microwave. Yeah.
- 22:57Microwave. There's this faith in the room. I don't trust them.
- 23:00The housekeepers know the combination.
- 23:03Can't you change the... Oh, no, there is a master code. I don't know.
- 23:07I was just being sarcastic, but yeah, I'm going to have to set some cash aside.
- 23:11Yeah. Probably wouldn't hurt.
- 23:12What about Sunday? What do we got? Sunday. So you got, for all you religious
- 23:16folks, there is a Duck Hunter's Church service, 9 a.m.
- 23:20And then also at 9 a.m., the show floor will open up and let our rental floor,
- 23:25and basically kind of throughout the day, same as Friday in between that or
- 23:28same as both days so at 10 a.m.
- 23:29To 3 p.m. they're going to have some different seminars and sessions going on so 4 p.m.
- 23:34Sunday shutting the doors everybody you don't have to go home but you can't stay there.
- 23:40And you know if you're if you're not from the Des Moines area or even if you
- 23:44are I mean we're not that far from Des Moines 40 minutes but yeah well hour
- 23:48and 15 minutes for you now yep,
- 23:51but if you're matter whether you're from the area or not from the area and you
- 23:56plan on going up there and having just a good time not worrying about,
- 23:59like just wanting to let loose drink make just i think you can get on delta's
- 24:04the event page and you can book hotel rooms through there too or it'll show
- 24:09you like all the all the hotels that are close by that are within walking distance rather than,
- 24:14drinking and driving that's yeah obviously we don't condone that but des moines
- 24:19big enough i mean it's no new orleans i think is where was that last year right
- 24:24or baton rouge wasn't it Oklahoma,
- 24:27or was that two years ago it was Louisiana last year it was Oklahoma I think
- 24:30it was in Oklahoma last year either way it's not gonna be that big but there
- 24:34is Uber there's Lyft all that stuff so you gotta drink you gotta Lyft ride home
- 24:39back to the hotel or whatever.
- 24:42I mean, that's what we did. We know how we are, and that's a long drive home.
- 24:47So now I'd rather be able to do whatever I want there and let loose and drink
- 24:52as much as I want and become a chatty Cathy with everybody and kind of just let loose.
- 24:57Yeah, and I hope anybody that's listening can see us walking around the show.
- 25:02Stop talking to us. Give us some thoughts or opinions or shit you want to hear.
- 25:06Yeah, we are working up some things to kind of do maybe a live stream or two
- 25:11while we're there, kind of like going over what's there.
- 25:15I'm hoping to kind of do something Friday, earlier in the day,
- 25:18Friday, kind of just going over what's all there, what you can look for,
- 25:22kind of things like that.
- 25:24And then we also got something else in the works. We may have a neat little,
- 25:30live stream on Saturday, I think, but we're still working out the details on that one. Yep.
- 25:36I hope so, but you never know. Yeah.
- 25:40It's not really, the ball's the ball is out of our court on it.
- 25:43We're just kind of waiting to see.
- 25:45We're down for it, but we got to figure out everybody else's.
- 25:48But if you're looking for tickets for this deal, you can purchase them online.
- 25:52They're on the Hy-Vee Tix Delta Waterfowl Expo page. Go there or just Google
- 25:58Delta Waterfowl Expo tickets and you can find them pretty easily.
- 26:02A one-day pass is $15 for an adult.
- 26:06The three-day wristband is $34. And then any youth, 15 and under,
- 26:12completely free. Bring your kids.
- 26:13Have a good time. Show them all the hunting stuff there is coming out and everything,
- 26:18there is to have for waterfowl hunting.
- 26:20What are you doing? I have somebody text me and tell me this mic looked gay,
- 26:24so I'm trying to turn the light off in a hallmark.
- 26:27I was going to tell you that before, but I wanted someone else to tell you.
- 26:31Well I left my mic at home on this plane ride down here to old Kentucky so I
- 26:36had to stop at Best Buy and buy a Freshie,
- 26:39I didn't have a lot of options it is what it is you just gotta get used to being
- 26:44made fun of is that better?
- 26:47Yeah just gonna hold that there the whole time?
- 26:51Yeah I'm gonna set the god damn yeah anyway uh yeah so obviously cheap cheap get in the show,
- 27:01get your tickets come check it out be a lot of a lot of guys there foils lucky
- 27:06duck ihp's there gator tail sika sheen,
- 27:11woody creek shout out brett henderson and yeah i'm sure there's gonna be a pile
- 27:16of clothes and decoys and rigs and everything else so,
- 27:22and a lot of new stuff that had like i know a lot of companies released the
- 27:26new stuff coming out this year yeah these expos So, I mean, might not.
- 27:31The only way to find out something new is coming out first and early is by going
- 27:35to this. And they might even have it for sale there.
- 27:37Like, you could be one of the first few people to get it.
- 27:41Some people get off on that. I mean, yeah. They want to throw it on Facebook.
- 27:45Let everybody know that they're important.
- 27:47Yeah. Yeah.
- 27:53Yeah, so, again, if you have any questions about the Expo, feel free to reach out to Colton Bradley.
- 28:00Yeah, with all your questions, call Colton.
- 28:04641-891. No, I'm just kidding. Anywho, yeah, I'd say I kind of want to roll
- 28:10into this bill in Oklahoma for the guide fee here.
- 28:16Yeah, that's kind of an interesting one.
- 28:19I mean, it's something I'm kind of surprised they haven't done years ago with
- 28:25waterfowl hunting becoming popular within the past 15 years.
- 28:29I'd say it's really gotten a lot more popular and guiding and outfitting has
- 28:32just exploded in the past 10 years.
- 28:37So I look to see what like any of the states that don't have something like
- 28:40this or like North Dakota. We'll touch on that at the end here,
- 28:44kind of compare it because they got some pretty strict rules.
- 28:48But I look to see a lot of states that don't have regulations starting to put
- 28:51them in place to kind of, I don't know, just kind of regulate who has a guide
- 28:57license and who can legally guide.
- 29:00Well, when you think about it, right, we'll go into some details here on it.
- 29:03But, you know, if you look at Iowa, we don't require the waterfowl guide license.
- 29:07In Oklahoma, obviously, we're talking about just in and stated it.
- 29:12If you don't have to have a guide license, you can pay me to take you duck hunting
- 29:17and I can take you to any public waters, right?
- 29:20Don't fucking smirk when I say that. No, you can't guide on public ground.
- 29:24I thought that's what this bill was introducing.
- 29:28I guess I don't know that. That I don't know for sure. The bill does introduce
- 29:31that, but I don't know if you could previously or not.
- 29:34Fair question, because when I was reading through the bill, it pointed out that,
- 29:39the only places you had to have this were on your own ground, right?
- 29:45No, not on your own ground, on private ground. I said that backwards.
- 29:49Come on, get your shit together. said that backwards.
- 29:52Yeah, I mean, if that's the case, somebody can correct me if I'm wrong,
- 29:56but if, I mean, assuming you're allowed to guide on public, now you're bringing
- 29:59revenue into the state for the exploitation of public grounds.
- 30:04Correct. So, I mean, I don't know why you wouldn't, I don't know why most states
- 30:08wouldn't follow with it. I mean. Right.
- 30:11So the bill that we're talking about is Oklahoma SB 2095.
- 30:17It's been a thing in progress, I believe, for the past two or three years,
- 30:20and they've been working out the details on it, but this was just signed by
- 30:23the governor on May 11th and will become effective November 1st of this year, 2026.
- 30:31I mean, you know, essential outlines, obviously the outfitter has to be 18.
- 30:36I don't know why I mean, I guess. Yeah, I get you trying to grind it when you're
- 30:41young, but Jesus Christ, if I showed up for a paid hunt and there was a 16 year,
- 30:4516 year old, I'd be like, Hmm.
- 30:48You wouldn't give him a chance. You just, you just say, I'm out of here.
- 30:51I'd give him a chance, but I would be definitely judgmental right away.
- 30:56Could be the best hunt you've ever been on. Could be. Could be.
- 31:01Able to produce a valid driver's license and residency.
- 31:06And then obviously any license should show that stuff on it.
- 31:10You also have to have insurance, which checks out, right? How much insurance? It's a big one.
- 31:18Liability coverage of no less than $1 million.
- 31:23That's a lot of zeros. It is a lot of zeros.
- 31:27I mean, honestly, though, for something that you're doing that involves guns
- 31:31and random people that you have no idea who the fuck they are.
- 31:34Especially in today's world.
- 31:37It's really not much because, like you said, today's world, you never know with
- 31:42people. And it's not like these guys or outfitters that I know of are running
- 31:46background checks. I mean, there's some of them that may or may not,
- 31:49but I don't think many of them do.
- 31:52I mean, yeah, I've never heard of it. if it is a thing I've never heard of it
- 31:56and not that I've been on a lot of I mean I've been on no guided waterfowl hunts but,
- 32:01multiple out of state hunts what do you mean I take you I take you all the time,
- 32:05yeah but I'll pay you guided to you but I'm still guiding you out there.
- 32:11I'm guiding you in the dark yeah well I'm blindfolding you and then I guide you out there,
- 32:18It's true. I mean, I do have to hold your hand in the dark when we're walking
- 32:21through the water. I don't have a nightlight. Snakes scare me.
- 32:29So yeah, million dollar insurance policy. I have a hunting outfitter or hunting
- 32:33guide license from the Director of Wildlife Conservation.
- 32:37So obviously that's what we're talking about. Or it could be any authorizing
- 32:42agent of the Department of Wildlife Conservation. What would that be though?
- 32:47That's my question. I would kind of figure, kind of like the IDNR,
- 32:52but ODNR? Just any, yeah.
- 32:55I mean, I don't know. Not the director, but our local RO would be able to issue that?
- 33:03So it'd probably be, yeah, something like that.
- 33:07Like the warden, and he'd have to run it through the proper channels for him.
- 33:11Probably, I would guess. I don't plan on guide in Oklahoma, so I'm not trying
- 33:16to read too, too much into it.
- 33:17But good news is if you want to, you can get your license, your guide license for two grand.
- 33:24Oh, that's it. Yeah. Residents are a thousand non-residents are two grand.
- 33:28So if you decide you want to start guiding Oklahoma, two big ones.
- 33:32That's really, if you think about it, what people charge these days for hunts,
- 33:39a thousand dollars for a resident or two grand for a non-resident even. That's not shit. Yeah.
- 33:44No, you're gonna make that up. I mean, if you're a guy, if you're the guy that's,
- 33:47that's in a position to own 1,000 acres in Oklahoma, but you live in Kansas,
- 33:52and you just go down to Oklahoma and guide during the season,
- 33:55you're going to make that back in a weekend. Well, that's what I mean.
- 33:59Most of these outfits are running usually about 10 guys a day.
- 34:04They don't always have full books every day, so let's say an average of seven for shits and grins.
- 34:11I mean, that's usually 300 bucks a pop, probably. 250 to 300 on average. Yeah.
- 34:18You've made that back on four guys. Yeah, it is. In one day.
- 34:24So yeah, I mean, realistically, not much, but still, if you have a dozen of
- 34:29them in the state, then you've got between 12 and 24 grand that's going straight
- 34:33back into wildlife, I would hope, into wildlife and the conservation wildlife in Oklahoma.
- 34:38I'm sure that's part of the reason they're doing this. It's kind of help regulate.
- 34:42Who's doing guiding and outfitting in the state and then also just to bring
- 34:47a little revenue in for the state for the DNR.
- 34:49I mean, it makes sense, right? If the money's going to the right place, 100% makes sense.
- 34:54I mean, look at us and I will. We talked about I will and the Heritage Foundation
- 34:59there, and it's like we couldn't get that thing rolling. and we still can't
- 35:02get it rolling. It was introduced, what did we say, 10 or 11 years ago?
- 35:05It's been a while. Yeah, it's been over 10 years. So, I mean,
- 35:08they, you know, if I were to start something like that and they're just pulling
- 35:11straight from the, you know, granted, we don't have a lot of waterfowl guides, but.
- 35:16You know, snow goose guides and goose guides and everything else,
- 35:19you could easily kind of kick that off.
- 35:22So I wonder if that's what Oklahoma's trying to do is get some more funds in
- 35:25their pocket. And that's one thing.
- 35:29We don't have a lot of guides, I feel like, in Iowa or outfitters.
- 35:31But I would say during snow goose season, we probably do have a fair amount
- 35:36that roll through for that.
- 35:38Southern tiers of Iowa, you always see guys pop up and it's $300 a gun.
- 35:42You know, come down on a day, $300 a day per gun.
- 35:46And there you go. You know, that's the spring conservation season, obviously.
- 35:49But yeah, even that, $300 a gun, and you run 10 guys, you've got,
- 35:54because I'm including in here, right, that there's a license for your helpers
- 35:58that are $100 for residents, $200 for non-residents.
- 36:01So if you got $1,000 and you got three helpers, you got $1,600 into it,
- 36:06and you charge $300 a gun a day, you got nine guys, eight guys,
- 36:11whatever, and you're... Right.
- 36:15It's just, I mean, it makes sense. One thing I was surprised was they're requiring
- 36:20you to get a license for your helpers now. So, like, residents are $100,
- 36:24and non-residents, $200 for just a helper on the crew.
- 36:29That is weird because I don't know. I feel like there'd definitely be some gray
- 36:32areas or loopholes of, oh, he's not really a helper.
- 36:36I didn't see it in the bill, but I'd be curious as to what they're classifying
- 36:41as a helper. I'm guessing if they're on your payroll, right?
- 36:45That's probably what it would be.
- 36:47I guess we're paying the guy cash. You could probably get away with not doing it, but obviously...
- 36:54Eventually it's gonna come back around to get you if you get checked by a ceo,
- 36:57game warden something like that you know yep just keeping honest people honest but um,
- 37:04so yeah like you said i said it backwards like you said if you own the land
- 37:07you do not have to purchase a license outfit on your own property,
- 37:11or even you don't even have to own the land but if you i think it was let me
- 37:16pull it back up i think it's if you have the rights for the farming on it,
- 37:21then you don't have to have it that was what i couldn't find super clarity super
- 37:26clear information on because i was curious on that just with knowing kind of
- 37:29how leases work i mean if you lease it for the entire rights of the land,
- 37:32farming hunting whatever i mean it's not yours right but essentially you have
- 37:37the right to say what goes on in on that ground right,
- 37:42I don't know. There's also, one thing we don't have on the list is it shows
- 37:46the fines, you know, if you don't buy this license. And the first offense.
- 37:55Let's see here. So the first offense is a $1,500 fine, no more than $2,000,
- 38:04and then a possibility of 30 days in jail.
- 38:09The second one same fine or possibly six months in jail and you could get both,
- 38:18sometimes it's going to be either or but you could get the hammer if they're trying to set an example,
- 38:24and then I think the last one if you get caught a third time I think you're just done,
- 38:29it's a period of the amount of the course so you can't hunt I believe for a
- 38:35year or 10. It's one to 10 years.
- 38:40A year? I mean, a year I feel like is kind of dumb, but whatever.
- 38:44Yeah, and I mean, there's going to be guys that they do get caught breaking
- 38:48it, which there will be somebody eventually get caught.
- 38:50And here we go, it's going to be just one year just by depending on the case you pull.
- 38:55Yeah. I think, I mean, I think the first year is going to be more caught than not.
- 38:59I mean, whether it's negligence or just ignorance, one of the two,
- 39:04you know, it's like, yeah.
- 39:05Fuck that or, oh, I didn't know. They're going to be writing tickets that first
- 39:08year. I bet they're going to be tracking it hard.
- 39:11Oh, yeah. You know the state's going to be out in full force on that first year
- 39:15and just trying to collect that extra taxpayer money.
- 39:20But, you know, looking into this and here, I heard about this a couple of weeks ago.
- 39:24And when I got to thinking about
- 39:26it, when you mentioned it, I looked up Iowa to compare it to us here.
- 39:31And it's kind of wild that we just don't have any license. Like you can,
- 39:37I think in Iowa, you can guide on public land, maybe even two.
- 39:39I'm not sure. I didn't even look that up.
- 39:41But there's no restriction on it for a license. So I don't, unless it's in our laws, you can't.
- 39:48Guide on public land right and i've been dug into it on the waterfell side but
- 39:52i mean you've been missing out you could have been charging me and pookie all year,
- 39:58dang it damn it do you know in iowa can you guide on public for deer,
- 40:05i think i think he used to be able to but i'm pretty sure they changed that
- 40:09but i could be wrong so i haven't looked into it in a few years just because,
- 40:15gossip and shit like that a few years ago.
- 40:17You started looking into it. I can't remember if they changed it or not,
- 40:19but I think you used to be able to.
- 40:21I would imagine if there's no waterfowl license for guiding,
- 40:26then I would say it's probably the same rules and regs as the deer hunters, I would guess.
- 40:32They would fall under their regulations for running, like being a guide on public
- 40:36ground, or however it may be.
- 40:39And it's wild. Like you said, what Iowa doesn't, and I know we look at North
- 40:43Dakota, I mean, they have to have it. North Dakota's strict.
- 40:47I should have done more research on the rest of the states surrounding us,
- 40:52but obviously NODAC is the one that comes to mind when you're talking about
- 40:55waterfowl. Well, it's like one of the most traveled two states in the country, I believe. Right.
- 41:02I would say for the size of it. I mean, I think Arkansas is the number one. Well, fair.
- 41:08But I mean, realistically, you know, you got Arkansas, the Stuttgart,
- 41:13right? duck hunting capital of the world, but I've talked to a handful of guys
- 41:16that are like, I've duck hunting lately.
- 41:18It's been going down the past few years. It's just been shit.
- 41:21So I think that's just the past few years are getting even more traffic to NODAC.
- 41:25And in order to be an outfitter in NODAC, you have to have a hunting license
- 41:30for at least two years and provide proof of insurance, just like Oklahoma's
- 41:33doing, except they have to have to hold a hunting license for two years.
- 41:38And then NODAC makes you pass a written exam administered by the Fish and Wildlife
- 41:44Department, which is wild.
- 41:46I don't know what that entails, but I would assume it's game identification,
- 41:51and... It's probably just simple addition and subtraction.
- 41:54Two plus two minus four. That way you know how to count your profits. Yep.
- 41:59Yep. Whether or not you believe in group limits, you know, simple,
- 42:03true or false questions.
- 42:05Yeah, I can't imagine that being rocket science.
- 42:08Yeah. Uh, and then safety certificates, so it's wild. I wouldn't be surprised
- 42:12if the exam is similar to, like,
- 42:14a hunter safety, right? And they kind of base it around that as well.
- 42:18But on top of the hunter safety, you have to assert your certifications in standard first aid and CPR.
- 42:27Which I think is a good, a good rule. Like, I mean, I think that should be a
- 42:30common practice for any outfitter to have.
- 42:33I mean, when you're working around guns and just random people,
- 42:36like we talked about earlier.
- 42:38Guns and water, right? I mean, look how many dipshits. Sorry,
- 42:42but dipshits. If it's one of you guys, sorry.
- 42:45You know, get out there in wind and waves and you're out nipple deep in water
- 42:50and waders. The next thing you know, you're being pulled down.
- 42:54Yeah, I mean, anything can happen on any given day.
- 42:57You just never know. Like you said, it's simple as tripping and falling in the
- 43:02water and your waders fill up and you can't pull yourself back up.
- 43:05So that I feel like is a pretty would be a pretty common thing for most outfitters
- 43:12other than these mom and pop pop up ones that are Joe Blow popping up a guide service.
- 43:19Definitely one I agree with yeah 100% while you were kind of talking about that
- 43:25stuff there for North Dakota I looked up Arkansas just because we just mentioned
- 43:28it dude their resident guide license is only 25 bucks,
- 43:35And the non-resident is $450. Pretty laid-back restrictions.
- 43:43And you can guide on public WMAs from what I'm reading here. Nope.
- 43:49It's pretty standard stuff. You just pay that $25 or $450 to become a guide.
- 43:55And it kind of sounds like you can go to most places and guide for the most part where you want.
- 44:00There's probably some limitations on certain areas. but yeah i mean it's,
- 44:06how many you think for anybody that's a resident or or grew up hunting you know
- 44:10in that area they would be like yeah fuck it i'll pay 25 and if i can take two
- 44:15groups out a year and pocket a couple grand great,
- 44:18oh man back in the heyday when arkansas used to really kill a lot of ducks oh,
- 44:24and you were you were a resident that knew how to shoot a duck or kind of had
- 44:29a favorite timber hole that always killed ducks.
- 44:31I'll say, do them holes that everybody else kind of skirted around.
- 44:35Right. I mean, that's probably an easy way to make some bucks right there. Yeah.
- 44:39All right, guys. Get some good sleep. We're waking up at midnight.
- 44:43We got to get to the hole first. Yeah.
- 44:46Well, a lot of them places got on and off times, so you just got to race,
- 44:50you got to race, crash boats and race. Yep.
- 44:54I've seen some of that. That's wild. you have to be done at a certain time and,
- 44:59well see i'm used to that where i grew up we like on our public lake that we
- 45:04hunted and a lot of the public all the public areas we hunted for the most part
- 45:07was shooting time ended at one o'clock in the afternoon,
- 45:11so you had to be i don't think you'd
- 45:13be off the water anytime but you just couldn't shoot anymore after one,
- 45:17yeah i don't i mean as far as iowa goes i don't think i would be like it would
- 45:20suck a little bit right but i I wouldn't be opposed to a certain time frame
- 45:24of, hey, you got to be done at this time.
- 45:28I've discussed that with Cade and Austin in the past quite a bit and a few other
- 45:32people's people's people.
- 45:36But you're going to get a lot of hate for saying it.
- 45:40But, man, I would like to see something implemented to where,
- 45:43like, the first 30 days of the season, you had to be off the water by 3 o'clock
- 45:48to give them birds that last two hours to rest and not be ran around by not
- 45:53just mud motors, but all motors.
- 45:56You know people running around out there just harassing them so the birds get
- 46:00no rest when they get here to us,
- 46:03that's and that's what i'm getting at you know i don't i that's the list of
- 46:07people that don't like me is growing so if you don't like me whatever for saying
- 46:10it but well like you said we got to get,
- 46:13got to get some birds some rest because it it's,
- 46:16there if them birds been here longer than three or four days it gets a little
- 46:20little tricky it gets tough definitely gets tough But I think it would help,
- 46:26from our birds getting so stale so quick.
- 46:28Cause we have a lot of people in our area that do go out and hunt the afternoon and hunt until sunset.
- 46:33And it sucks cause you don't want to take away the hunting from the guys that
- 46:36work during the day and can make it out on the water by three o'clock, you know? Right.
- 46:40Yeah. It sucks. I mean, honestly, any restrictions suck for the guy that's just going out when he can.
- 46:47But if you, if you look at it for like quality throughout the year,
- 46:52I think something like that could help our quality, but who knows?
- 46:56I mean, there's other states that do it.
- 46:59I'm sure we can look at the data on those and at some point see if it's helped or not.
- 47:05It'd be nice to see. I mean, obviously you can't do it without trying it for
- 47:08a few years and get a good baseline.
- 47:09But it'd be nice to see if something like that would obviously help the hunting
- 47:15pressure or the bird pressure or if it would help numbers in general or nothing
- 47:20at all. or it wouldn't make a difference.
- 47:25Now, do you think you were going to start seeing this a lot more in the states
- 47:30through the Midwest here in the prairie pothole region that maybe that,
- 47:34whether they have them or don't have them, we're going to see,
- 47:37outfitter laws changing to affect,
- 47:41certain states or certain people?
- 47:43I think with Oklahoma starting it, or not starting it right,
- 47:46but Oklahoma's jumping on that train.
- 47:48And then obviously with the kind of blow up that's been quiet the past few weeks of.
- 47:54The migration stop and the flooded corn and everything else,
- 47:57it would not surprise me to see more states in the Midwest and kind of jump on that train of.
- 48:04Did you say the flooded corn debates have been kind of quiet lately?
- 48:08I haven't been checking out the stuff you probably have.
- 48:12Brother you got to get on some more pages i don't even get on facebook that
- 48:15much but i get on there just enough that every time i scroll through the feed
- 48:19for more than two minutes i see somebody complaining about it whether it's for the good or the bad,
- 48:24where's the deal like and when i say being quiet the past weeks i don't mean
- 48:28joe blow or colton bradley bitching about flooded corn i mean like where the
- 48:33legislation's out with it and where,
- 48:36you know where where letters have been sent and topics have been discussed and stuff like that.
- 48:41Because obviously it got hot there for a minute with letters going to certain
- 48:44people and talking about certain areas of split of corn, right?
- 48:49That was a hot topic there for a minute. Now, obviously, all over Facebook,
- 48:53all over the keyboard warriors are going to bitch and bone and complain about anything they can.
- 48:57Right. And I do think it's still a hot topic, you know, and they're still pushing it.
- 49:03But they're, I mean, they're beating against the wall, a brick wall at that right now.
- 49:08And it's, that's going to take some time because even if they do do anything,
- 49:13there's probably going to be a study for more than two years.
- 49:17Like it's going to make a three to five year study probably on if it's going
- 49:21to help or if it would change anything.
- 49:23So you're not going to see that change overnight.
- 49:26You're not going to see anything happen overnight on that fact.
- 49:29And I mean, most people in here know where I kind of stand on that,
- 49:35but there's a lot of, there's a lot of people on both sides of the court and it is fun to watch.
- 49:40Where do you stand on that? I'm confused, I guess. I don't know.
- 49:42Shut up. No, you're not. Get out of here with that.
- 49:46Yeah, I mean, I think there's a lot of fair arguments on both sides of it.
- 49:50And there is. I truly do believe that.
- 49:53The problem is, I see Bill's been in here commenting a couple times.
- 49:59I see him talking to people all the time, and he'll just try to tell them something.
- 50:03And whether they're pro-corn or against corn, they just lose their marbles.
- 50:09People are losing their marbles over flooded corn and the debate on it,
- 50:14and it's absolutely hysterical.
- 50:16That's not to take away from authority that's with everything if you say anything
- 50:20that slightly contradicts what people are believing or want to thank then people
- 50:25just don't listen it's like,
- 50:27talking to stupid people or arguing with stupid people makes you stupid so don't
- 50:31do it yeah you can't have debates no more you just have one disagreement then
- 50:36a fight right except for nobody fights anymore because they just,
- 50:41like keyboard warrior fights I guess no there's no fist fights anymore Well,
- 50:45you don't want to get sued.
- 50:47Exactly. There's a whole lot of legal shit that goes into a fist fight.
- 50:52Hit you once and you just crack your head on the curb. Then you're going to jail.
- 50:58Yeah, I think there's a lot of good discussions to be had with certain people.
- 51:02I think there's a lot of guys out there that will still listen to arguments
- 51:05and stuff like that. But yeah, obviously there's a lot of guys that are like, Oh, you support it?
- 51:09Nope. Don't really care to talk to you because obviously you're an idiot.
- 51:12Yeah, you're dumb. Yeah. You just can't afford flooded corn.
- 51:16Yeah, you're just mad that I have it and you don't.
- 51:20You're right. I am, but that's not the argument I'm trying to have.
- 51:24Yeah, I am a broke-ass bitch. What's your problem with that? Oh, my God. Get off me.
- 51:30It's good times. I've been watching it to try and see if anything breaks on
- 51:35it so we can kind of talk about it, you know. But so far, kind of crickets from the U.S.
- 51:40Fish and Wildlife Service on that, honestly.
- 51:43Which is surprising, but not surprising at the same time.
- 51:48I just, I hope it hasn't been, like I hope it's quiet because it's going through the process.
- 51:53I don't hope that it's quiet because it got swept under the rug and it's done and over the course.
- 51:58It's not I know the Flyway Federation has been still gaining support still getting
- 52:03people to back their cause pushing for at least a study to figure out the whole
- 52:09shindig so they're still moving along but,
- 52:12everything I've kind of seen and noticed is,
- 52:15the government moves slow as fuck and everybody knows that so no progress on that part,
- 52:20but we'll see you never know I don't I don't hold my breath on anything happening
- 52:24quick or fast on that nope No, I wouldn't either.
- 52:28We'll just hopefully update as we get information, obviously. Yeah.
- 52:33Well, what else you got for us on this podcast? It's been a fun one,
- 52:37just chatting me and you. You know, we don't have Austin here knowing the fuck out of us.
- 52:41Well, I mean, realistically, it'd be the same conversation, just with Austin staring at us.
- 52:48No, you know, I don't have anything else If you guys, you know,
- 52:51obviously if you guys have thoughts on the oklahoma bill,
- 52:55Let us know comments texts calls, whatever, you know, we're curious as well
- 52:59See what other people feel like we're not the type of person to say you're dumb
- 53:02for bringing an argument to it But other,
- 53:05than that I mean like I said here in a couple weeks we'll do another episode
- 53:08and then hopefully we do I'd like to get two in for the expo But we'll see what
- 53:13happens and how everything plays out obviously,
- 53:16Yeah, and if you're going to be at the Expo and you'd like to meet any of us,
- 53:21Cade won't be there very much.
- 53:22He will be racing that weekend, so he's got to go left-hand turns.
- 53:27I think he'll be there Friday, right? He's going to the banquet Friday.
- 53:31He'll be there probably a little bit on Sunday, maybe, but he'll be there Friday
- 53:36for sure at some point in time, I'd imagine.
- 53:39Speaking of Cade, real quick, he's having a hell of a year so far racing.
- 53:43Got to give him the credit. I gotta give him Well I was a little Disappointed Saturday Right And.
- 53:49Dude's been on fire. Car's fast. He's driving good. He's got himself. Day racing.
- 53:54I mean, we're getting close to midway through the season here,
- 53:57and he's right there. I mean, him and Patrick. He's sitting good.
- 54:00Yep, he's sitting good with points. So, obviously doable, right?
- 54:05Just, I wish, it would have been nice to see him on the podium on Saturday.
- 54:08Yeah, and he had a fast car, but he had a little bit of a fender bender.
- 54:14Didn't wreck the car, but almost wrecked the car Saturday night.
- 54:19But he's all good. Car's all good. They'll be back, hopefully. All it matters.
- 54:24Fast again next weekend. Yeah, what you were about to say was Fast as Fuck Week. Yeah.
- 54:30But anyways, if you want to talk to any of us, just hit us up or hang out with
- 54:34any of us. We'll be there. I'll be there every day, all day, pretty much.
- 54:38Zach. I'll be there every day, all day.
- 54:41We'll have stickers in our back pocket. Everybody needs a little cooler sticker. Represent your boys.
- 54:47Yep. We will have plenty of stickers. Maybe something else in the works,
- 54:51but I don't know. I'm thinking about getting a tattoo gun, and I'll give out
- 54:55Duck Fellows tattoos when anybody wants one.
- 54:58That's a good idea. I'm down. You going to, like, draw it up on your Etch-A-Sketch first?
- 55:04No, I'll just trace the sticker. We'll put the sticker on your leg, and I'll just trace it.
- 55:10We can have Levitt Graphics print us off a sticker with, like,
- 55:13Oh, a stencil. Yeah. like little lines all around the words.
- 55:18At Ryan Levitt. I'm going to hit you up tomorrow.
- 55:22Well, this has been fun. I've enjoyed coming back on the podcast again.
- 55:26It was, it feels like it's been forever.
- 55:29Yeah. It's felt like a while, but glad we got another one in. Um, I know Tyler.
