- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
- 0:03Speaker 1: I'm your host, rochelle.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I'm a holistic human design health coach, and this is a space for human design and spiritual journey.
- 0:10Speaker 1: It's not about being a master of your emotions, rather mastering the tools to self-regulate, to awakening yourself and remembering who you are.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Human design changed my life about five years ago and I've been learning and teaching the system ever since.
- 0:24Speaker 1: This podcast is human design meets spirituality, meets astrology.
- 0:27Speaker 1: You don't have to have a belief system to be here, just an open mind and curiosity.
- 0:32Speaker 1: This is a journey of meeting yourself and awakening to your infinite potential.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Now let the magic begin.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I'm Rachelle, and today we're going to talk about Venus.
- 0:47Speaker 1: We've been sort of moving through this astrology series.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We talked about the sun, we talked about the moon and we talked about Mars, and Mars and Venus have both been really big players over the past 18 months, as the nodes have been in this Aries-Libra axis Aries being in the north node, libra being in the south node and what that means is our purpose, our direction, our calling has been towards this Aries energy.
- 1:14Speaker 1: This is self-leadership, this is assertion, this is action, this is starting things, and the south node is where we collectively because this is a collective transit find comfort.
- 1:24Speaker 1: So Libra is codependent, can be possibly codependent because it wants balance and harmony, can be people pleasing.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Because of that, it can be indecisive.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It is an air sign, a cardinal air sign.
- 1:35Speaker 1: So we have a cardinal fire sign, which is Aries, and a cardinal air sign, which is Libra.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Libra is ruled by Venus, aries is ruled by Mars, and I've personally been having my node of return, which means that my nodes are in this Aries-Libra axis.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Mine are at 29 degrees of Aries and Libra.
- 1:50Speaker 1: They're also conjunct my MCIC, which is zero degrees of Taurus-Scorpio.
- 1:55Speaker 1: So it's been pretty intense, to say the least, and I was thinking about this time last year because we're about to have this Aries full moon tomorrow as this episode, or today as this episode, or today as this episode is released, and just reflecting on everything that has happened over the last well over a year.
- 2:14Speaker 1: But Venus has been a huge player for quite a while and last year we had this Venus retrograde and Leo and I'm a Leo rising.
- 2:19Speaker 1: So, of course, like this was really activating a lot about myself and my relationships, and Libra is all about relationships, right?
- 2:26Speaker 1: It rules the seventh house, a lot of relationship themes have been coming up and I think that is the dynamic, not that I think that is a dynamic between Aries and Libra.
- 2:33Speaker 1: This is the I versus the we and it's not even versus it's.
- 2:37Speaker 1: We have to integrate them together, right, to work together.
- 2:40Speaker 1: We can't have a relationship separate from ourself and we can't see ourself without the mirror of that relationship.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So it is this balancing act, this dynamic, this integration of these two energies.
- 2:51Speaker 1: How can we be in relationship and keep our individuality, keep our anonymity that might be the wrong word, autonomy but just keeping our individuality, our freedom, all of these things within the dynamics of our relationships.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And so it's just been.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been really interesting to reflect back on the last year and everything that's happened, relationship wise, just within myself, I think this past year has been the year of I'm calling it for myself.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Granted, the year is not over yet, but so far it's been the year of the feminine, because it's been incredibly painful.
- 3:27Speaker 1: But within that, I've learned to let go, I've learned to open up, I've learned to surrender.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Of course, there are moments where my mind is like we have to control this, we have to figure this out, we have to do this.
- 3:37Speaker 1: But then there's a bigger part of me now that's like we don't have anything to do right now.
- 3:51Speaker 1: We don't have to do anything right, like we can just be open and receptive and see where this goes right.
- 3:53Speaker 1: There is a time to take action and there is a time to surrender, like and being able to discern where we need to show up, in what energy has been really powerful.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Because I think a lot of us, whether we identify feminine, masculine, we all have it within us, right?
- 4:03Speaker 1: We all have masculine and feminine parts within us and we've been really just taught out of the feminine like.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I am reading this book called come as you are, and they were talking about the hymen in the female, in the female body, and historically it's been said that if you have sex for the first time, you know if you have, if you have sex with your partner, your husband, and you not bleed, if that hymen does not break.
- 4:26Speaker 1: We've been brandished I feel like I'm making words up today.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I don't know, but we've been like our name has been tarnished right through that.
- 4:35Speaker 1: There are some countries that will actually discipline or kill the woman if they do not bleed and the facts of the matter is biologically not bleed.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And the facts of the matter is, biologically, not everybody even has hymen right, like not every woman, and certainly not every woman does it bleed, right.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And we've created this culture around the female hymen, like this piece of us.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And it's like it's false.
- 5:01Speaker 1: It's not even true and it's just wild how much just I give that example because it's like the feminine has been suppressed.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Hang on, I'm going to get the book and actually read this one little paragraph, because it blew my mind how distorted things have become right.
- 5:17Speaker 1: So it says the hymen is a profound example of the way humans metamorphize, metaphorize, metaphorize.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I cannot speak.
- 5:29Speaker 1: There's got to be some transit with Mercury happening right now and I'm literally going to look up in a minute.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Okay, restart.
- 5:34Speaker 1: The hymen is a profound example of the way humans metaphorize an autonomy.
- 5:43Speaker 1: We're just going gonna skip that.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Okay, here is an organ that has no biological function.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Yet western culture made up a powerful story about the hymen a long time ago.
- 5:53Speaker 1: This story has nothing to do with biology and everything to do with controlling women.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Culture saw a barrier at the mouth of the vagina and decided it was a marker of virginity, itself a biologically meaningless idea.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Such a weird idea could have been invented.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Such a weird idea could have been invented only in a society where women were literally property their vaginas, their most valuable real estate, a gated community.
- 6:19Speaker 1: It's just, I don't know like reading that and even I, like, for the longest time, just assumed everybody had it.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I don't even remember like reading that and even I, like, for the longest time, just assumed everybody had it.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I don't even remember if I bled during the first time.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I mean, it's been a while, but yeah, we've just created this whole narrative out of something that isn't even real, right?
- 6:37Speaker 1: So I don't even know how I got on that tangent, but Venus talking about Venus, but yeah, venus rules Libra, and so, with this full moon that we're having tomorrow, we have this full moon in Aries tomorrow, today, the day that this episode comes out, thursday, october 17, is the full moon, and this one is going to be intense, right?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Because this is Aries, this is bold, this is leadership, this is action, this is, you know, assertion, this is initiating energy.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And because we've had so much Aries Libra, you know, with the nodes there, but we've had so much focus on that over the last 18 months, the themes that have been coming up around our relationships, around our self, specifically the self, because Aries is, I am, and this isn't a full moon in Aries, but the sun is in Libra, so this is still that dynamic.
- 7:25Speaker 1: There's always going to be that dynamic.
- 7:26Speaker 1: When you talk about any sign, you're always going to have the polarity in there of the opposite sign, but this is also conjunct Chiron in Aries.
- 7:36Speaker 1: So it's pulling up these themes that have been coming up and it's pulling up our core wounding right Collectively and depending on what you have individually.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Of course, it always, always depends on your chart how things are going to impact you, but we have this core wounding around ourself, around assertion, around speaking up around these themes of Aries with Chiron being there and only that we have.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You know, full moons are when the sun and the moon are opposite each other, so we have them opposite each other and I believe don't I'm gonna have to pull it up I believe that this is all happening at 24 degrees and I believe Chiron is at 21 degrees currently.
- 8:13Speaker 1: So if you have anything at, so it's happening at 24 degrees of Aries, chiron is at 21 degrees.
- 8:19Speaker 1: So if you have anything within those about 24, between 24 and 21 degrees, or you know, um, a cardinal sign.
- 8:27Speaker 1: So that is cancer, capricorn, aries and libra.
- 8:31Speaker 1: And the reason why this is so impactful, um, is because we have again, we have a grand cardinal cross, which means every sign that is a player in this, every planet that is a player in this, full moon is happening at about 24 to 29 degrees of these cardinal signs, which creates this grand cross.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Now, it's not direct, but it is close enough and grand crosses are intense.
- 9:00Speaker 1: It's a lot of pressure.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It is when every planet is square to the other.
- 9:04Speaker 1: So we have the moon and the sun are opposite in Libra and we have Mars and Pluto opposite in Cancer-Capricorn axis.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So the moon is squared to Mars, mars is squared to the moon and the sun, the sun is squared to Mars and Pluto, and so on.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And I was listening to the astrology podcast and they were giving an example of this Mars-Pluto opposition, which will be direct, I believe, next month or maybe at the end of this month, I don't know the exact date.
- 9:33Speaker 1: But you know, mars is the warrior.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Mars is our expression of our emotions, so, depending on how it plays out in your chart, but it can be an immature expression of emotions.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It can be like the ego, right, it can be somebody who's super frustrated and super angry and just wants to like, brawl and and you know, be all whatever about it.
- 9:52Speaker 1: But when we have pluto coming in the mix and this is going to send sound intense.
- 9:57Speaker 1: But they gave the example of a boxer, right?
- 10:00Speaker 1: So mars is the boxer who, you know, fights for a living, a living.
- 10:03Speaker 1: He's got some anger, aggressive aggression, like gets in the match and just like is fighting.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Now, when Pluto comes into play, when we have this opposition with Pluto, this is the energy of like that boxer then swings and kills the opponent, right, yes, it's morbid and it's it's.
- 10:18Speaker 1: They use the word annihilation so many times, but it just takes that energy a step further because both of these planets rule Scorpio, right, and so this is really facing this stuff and, of course, this is collective transit.
- 10:32Speaker 1: So, seeing this on the collective level, you know we don't know what's going to happen, you can't predict that, right, but this can be pretty intense energy, and so, as we're having this full moon, this can feel really intense, and especially within the dynamics of our relationship.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Now, I'm not saying your relationships are going to be annihilated or there's going to be any sort of violence within your relationships.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But what's been coming up right, this could literally just be the annihilation of a relationship.
- 10:55Speaker 1: This could be like that last straw, like we are done, we're over.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Something happened.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You got so mad, you're just it's completely finished, right, that could be an energy that's come up.
- 11:04Speaker 1: It could be, you know, maybe a fight that moves you closer.
- 11:06Speaker 1: It doesn't even have to be a fight, but just you know, like with Pluto, pluto is deep in the subconscious and Pluto, when we have any sort of major Pluto transit specifically on our own chart, it makes things so uncomfortable that we have to face what's happening right.
- 11:24Speaker 1: It makes things so uncomfortable that we have to face what's happening right.
- 11:27Speaker 1: It makes things so uncomfortable within our bodies that we have to then create the awareness of like what's going on.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Like I personally have my nodes, like I said, at 29 degrees of Aries, libra, and Pluto has been at 29 degrees of Capricorn, so it's been square to my nodes, so this energy of leadership, action, you know, all these things have been really uncomfortable lately where it's like I can't like things are just shifting so massively and there are so many ties and I can go down the rabbit hole of, like, my chart, which I'm sure that you don't want to hear, or maybe you do, but that can be for a DM chat if you want, but just it's intense.
- 12:06Speaker 1: There's a lot happening and so, with this happening, we do have a sextile to Jupiter at 21 degrees of Venus, 21 degrees of Gemini.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I am telling you, I, literally, right now, I'm going to look and find out what is happening with Venus, with, yeah, mercury currently is square to Pluto, so that could be what's having me completely jumble my words.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I was like maybe there's got to be an opposition to Neptune, but nope, but anyway, so that's besides the point.
- 12:40Speaker 1: But, yeah, so you know anything that's coming up now, just pay attention to it.
- 12:45Speaker 1: You know, especially when it comes to your relationships.
- 12:46Speaker 1: And I sort of dove into all of that A because you know anything that's coming up now, just pay attention to it.
- 12:49Speaker 1: You know, especially when it comes to your relationships.
- 12:50Speaker 1: And I sort of dove into all that A because you know this Aries full moon is impactful and it is big, and also because we're diving into Venus, which is the ruler of Libra, which is a player in it as well.
- 12:59Speaker 1: But again back to just back to the full moon real quick.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Because this is an Aries, then Mars is a big player in it.
- 13:04Speaker 1: And because Mars is also not just a player, because it is the rule of Mars, but because it creates this grand cross and Mars in Cancer is passive, aggressive, it's frustration.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Mars can't really express itself in the way that it wants to in Cancer, so that's why it tends to be passive, aggressive.
- 13:21Speaker 1: But it is like the protector of the home, right?
- 13:24Speaker 1: It is that warrior energy when it comes to things that you love, your inner world, your, your family, your home life, things like that, right?
- 13:34Speaker 1: So, getting back to the episode, that little introduction, oh, and just one more side note which is really interesting, because I I have Mars and Capricorn in my sixth house, so this is health daily routines.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Pluto has is obviously at 29 degrees of Capricorn, my sixth house, so this is health daily routines.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Pluto is obviously at 29 degrees of Capricorn.
- 13:48Speaker 1: So ever since it's dipped back into Capricorn, I've been having skin issues and Capricorn is the ruler of skin, which is just when it's so literal like that.
- 13:56Speaker 1: It's kind of funny if it wasn't so uncomfortable.
- 13:59Speaker 1: But my skin I've been getting really dry, kind of itchy skin, almost like eczema And've been putting like lotion on it and I'm finding solutions that are working.
- 14:08Speaker 1: But I haven't like experienced that before, so it's just like really interesting that that's happening at that time and there was something else.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Oh, I've also really been called oddly, so I've been plant-based.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I've been vegan for 13 years and over the like the last six months, for some reason I've been craving like fish and just like random things, like no meat I don't think I could ever do like chicken, beef, pork, like none of that.
- 14:31Speaker 1: But I've sort of been like having these little cravings here and there and I truly believe that my body's trying to tell me something like there's something I'm not getting from supplements, something that I need, and so over the last week I've sort of been playing with like eggs.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I made salmon other night.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I haven't been able to eat a whole lot Like.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It's not that it tastes weird or that the texture is weird you would think that but it's just like there's something about it that it almost like grosses me out because it's been so long, even though it tastes fine.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Like I made salmon the other night and the first like two bites I was like whoa, this tastes so eating meat because I didn't like the taste of it, like it's delicious, because that usually is somebody's go to.
- 15:09Speaker 1: When I say like I'm vegan, like oh my God, but meat tastes so good, I'm like I know I used to eat it, but no, like it tasted great, but there's just something that's sort of like I don't I don't know if it's my ego because it's been so long since I've eaten it, but I just think it's so.
- 15:21Speaker 1: It's just interesting that you know, know there's so much going on and I've really been working to settle into my body and to listen to my body again, like with that feminine energy, like I feel like this year has been the year of the feminine for me and like settling into myself and listening and trusting and like letting my body guide me through things and it's just been, yeah, I'm trying to listen to that and so I'm trying to eat.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I actually just read the glucose goddess book, um, and it's just sort of I kind of skimmed it, but it basically like lays out how we should be eating our meals and I've always known that it's good to start with like a bitter or a green Um, but just even restructuring the way that you eat what you're already going to be eating on your plate can really help in your digestion.
- 16:04Speaker 1: My stomach's also been a little bit funny lately, which is also sort of this like kick into, just like getting my body right again so that I can feel good, because I know I I'm very in tune with my body, so I know when it feels good and I know when it doesn't feel good.
- 16:20Speaker 1: But yeah, I say all that to share kind of what's been going on with me.
- 16:26Speaker 1: That's been sort of impactful and important, and I'll probably get into more like relationship stuff a little bit later in this episode.
- 16:32Speaker 1: But let's start the episode.
- 16:33Speaker 1: We're 16 minutes in, but yeah, so today we're diving into Venus.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Right, venus is all about love, beauty, relationships, right what brings us joy in life.
- 16:46Speaker 1: And so wherever Venus is in your birth chart, you can go to astrocom if you do not have your birth chart.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Venus literally looks like, uh, a circle with a little line coming out of it and across, so like across, and then a circle on top.
- 16:59Speaker 1: That's what venus looks like.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Venus is the planet of love, relationships, relationships, pleasure, values.
- 17:06Speaker 1: It represents what you desire and how you express affection and how you attract others.
- 17:11Speaker 1: So Mars and Venus are sort of key players in this.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Mars is also attraction and Venus is attraction, right, but Venus goes deeper than just romance, right, it's also about your relationship with yourself, your sense of self-worth, because Venus does rule the second house, venus rules Taurus, which is the second house, and the seventh house, and what you value in all areas of your life.
- 17:32Speaker 1: So understanding your Venus sign can really help you better navigate your relationships and embrace more of what brings you joy and fulfillment.
- 17:40Speaker 1: So we're going to look at what Venus represents in your birth chart and how its energy impacts your life, how to work with the energy of your Venus sign to enhance self-love, relationships and creativity, and a breakdown of Venus and, like in each zodiac sign, and how you can align to its unique gifts.
- 17:58Speaker 1: And so we'll start I'm like, getting off tangent, but I'll also include some tangible tools to help you harness the power of your Venus sign.
- 18:08Speaker 1: So, whether that's, you know, to build a stronger relationship, cultivating more self-love or manifesting abundance but Venus in astrology is referred to as a planet of love, right, venus Aphrodite, but its influence goes beyond, just like romantic relationships, right, it represents your values.
- 18:28Speaker 1: What do you find beautiful?
- 18:29Speaker 1: What do you desire?
- 18:30Speaker 1: What's most important to you Love and relationships.
- 18:34Speaker 1: So how you express affection, how you attract others, the qualities that you seek in relationships, self-worth and pleasure Venus governs your sense of self-worth and your ability to experience pleasure and joy in life.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Venus is a benefic planet, right?
- 18:48Speaker 1: So think of Venus as your guide to what makes life enjoyable, right?
- 18:54Speaker 1: It shows you how to experience beauty, harmony, connection, whether it's through art, relationships or simply taking the time to enjoy life's pleasures.
- 19:10Speaker 1: So Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra.
- 19:11Speaker 1: So Venus ruling Taurus.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I always describe this as sort of like raw, feminine, sensual energy.
- 19:14Speaker 1: This is Mama Gaia, this is Mother Earth.
- 19:15Speaker 1: This is like I literally see this, like Aphrodite, you know, like that that the graphic or the image of Aphrodite she's naked and she's, her hair's like flowing and she's like in I don't know where she is.
- 19:27Speaker 1: There's like water and all the elements of the earth, right, like she's just like in her element there, right, she's very sensual, she's very sexual, she's very sure of herself.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Right?
- 19:36Speaker 1: That that Taurus in the second, second house of self worth, is very much what Venus represents, right?
- 19:42Speaker 1: So when we're leaning into our Venus, when we're understanding the dynamic of our Venus, it allows us to embody that energy, that Aphrodite energy, and I love archetypes because it allows us to understand the archetype of something.
- 19:56Speaker 1: It allows us to embody the archetype of something.
- 19:58Speaker 1: It sort of allows us to play a role, and I think that a lot of times in life we're always playing a role.
- 20:04Speaker 1: We're always putting on a mask.
- 20:05Speaker 1: We are not the same person with everyone that we're always playing a role.
- 20:07Speaker 1: We're always putting on a mask.
- 20:07Speaker 1: We are not the same person with who, with everyone that we're in.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Right, and specifically because Venus talks about relationships is like I think I wrote a post about it or a reel or something, but and I have such a passive mind in human design, so things like I can never like pinpoint the sources of things.
- 20:24Speaker 1: But I think I was listening to a podcast and they were talking about relationships and the masks that we wear and it's like we can only see ourselves through the lens of other people.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Right, sort of like the theory of the universe.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Right, god can only experience himself outside of himself, which is why he created us, which is why he created the universe, so that he could experience himself through us, and that's what relationships do to us.
- 20:51Speaker 1: That's what Venus energy is sort of like.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Right, like we choose who we're putting ourselves around.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Right, we are choosing how we want to see ourselves.
- 21:00Speaker 1: So you can choose who you're going to be in relationship with and it's really a reflection of not only how you see yourself but who you want to be right Like.
- 21:11Speaker 1: When I think back on my relationships and my journey, my progress, my process, who I used to surround myself with, was very negative.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I was seeing a version of myself that I did not like.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I remember that in the past relationship I don't even know if you would call it a situation ship that I was in a few years ago that was physically safe, that relationship I wouldn't even really call it like toxic, like I think I saw my toxic traits within that dynamic but I always, like I always said I don't like the version of me that you see and I chose to stay in that for a while.
- 21:45Speaker 1: But it wasn't just the version of me that they saw, that was the version it was mirroring back to me, the version of me that I was showing Right, and that person I always felt like we never really just sat and laughed, we never had fun like that.
- 22:00Speaker 1: We had fun, but it wasn't like I don't know, like you know, when you're just with somebody, you could just laugh and laugh and laugh and just have a great time.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I feel like we never had that dynamic and we'll get into it in a minute.
- 22:11Speaker 1: But I have Venus in Gemini.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Gemini is curious, it's playful, it's light, it's inquisitive, it's intellectual, it wants to have conversations.
- 22:22Speaker 1: It's a little bit of a shitster, a little trickster.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I am a very serious person, don't get me wrong.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I'm so serious, but my Venus and Gemini allows me to, like, I have to have play and laughter in my relationships.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I have to have conversation in my relationships.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I have to have friendships in my relationships.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It's also my 11th house, which is like groups and friendships and things like that, but that those are like so important to me and I never, like felt like I was experiencing that in that past relationship, but it was a reflection, reflecting, reflecting a version of me that I was at that time Right and so every relationship that we choose to be in and I am also speaking of, like family dynamics you are choosing to engage, you're choosing to be in like we don't, of course, okay, our soul chooses our family right For a very specific reason, but if we're choosing to maintain a relationship with those people.
- 23:15Speaker 1: We are choosing that version of ourself on some level right, and so all of that kind of tied into Venus, right With that self-worth, and like we are choosing the relationships and so all of that really to go back to, like in reflecting even the reflection I was doing about like the last year and stuff like that but like looking at the relationships I've chosen in the past and then looking at the relationship even like with the reflector, like I like the version of me that I see in his eyes, of me, that I see in his eyes, like I enjoy who I am in this dynamic, and that's what I keep coming back to, like I actually really love that aspect of it, and so we're choosing again the relationships that we're calling in and so so, yeah, so Venus ruling Taurus is more that raw, sensual, sexual sort of energy.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Venus ruling Libra Now, libra is an air sign, a cardinal air sign, and Libra is again peace, balance, harmony.
- 24:17Speaker 1: It's the judge a little bit, it's weighing the scales right and so it can be a little indecisive.
- 24:22Speaker 1: It's an air sign, therefore, a little bit indecisive.
- 24:24Speaker 1: It's very aesthetic, it's creative, it's little indecisive.
- 24:33Speaker 1: It's an air sign, therefore, a little bit indecisive.
- 24:34Speaker 1: It's very aesthetic, it's creative, it's about art, and so venus ruling libra is a little bit more refined energy than venus ruling taurus, um, and that's where I think the creativity and the aesthetics and the art, um, that stuff sort of comes into play, is more from libra than from taurus, but those are like sort of the two dynamics, I guess, of Venus or the way that it shows up, and I love, like I love, both energies I also have.
- 24:56Speaker 1: So this is sort of where you can pull the thread right.
- 24:58Speaker 1: So, venus, there are like multiple areas that we can look at, first of all, just seeing where Venus is in your chart right.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Where's Venus in your chart?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Again, I have in the aspects to it.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Now, that's a little bit more of a advanced, I guess, understanding.
- 25:13Speaker 1: But you can download oh my gosh, what app is it?
- 25:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna look real quick.
- 25:17Speaker 1: You can download time passages and I believe it's free.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I could be wrong, but when you pull up your chart it will literally lay out.
- 25:32Speaker 1: So it'll say planets and aspects and you can look to aspects and read what it says.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Like Venus, like for me, I have Venus square Jupiter and have Venus opposite Uranus.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Those are kind of intense, because Venus and Jupiter are benefic planets, but they can be really impulsive when they're square to each other, because squares are like internal challenges and oppositions are challenges coming from the outside of us, and Uranus is really unpredictable.
- 25:51Speaker 1: It really values freedom, so it's bringing this element to my relationships.
- 25:54Speaker 1: But so look at where Venus is in your chart first of all.
- 25:57Speaker 1: So, again, I have Venus in Gemini.
- 25:59Speaker 1: So then, like you know, what does that mean?
- 26:01Speaker 1: What do the aspects mean?
- 26:03Speaker 1: Then we want to look at the second house, right, so the second house is what we're.
- 26:12Speaker 1: So Taurus in the second house.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Looking where Taurus is, where the second house is, this is just like flares, I guess, unless you have something else impactful there and Libra in the seventh house.
- 26:20Speaker 1: So what is in all those places will sort of be nuanced layers to how Venus is showing up in your chart.
- 26:28Speaker 1: So, again, for me, I have Venus and Gemini and I have yeah, I have Venus and Gemini and I have Libra, which rules Venus, venus rules Libra.
- 26:39Speaker 1: So I have Libra in my third house, which is the house of Gemini, and so communication is so, so, so important to me in relationships.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I was at work the other day and I had to work with somebody who I hadn't worked before and they literally walked in and there was no communication whatsoever and I was immediately put off.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I was like, oh, I don't even know how I'm going to get through the day without communication.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Like it's just, it's so important to me and it's an area that for me has been challenging, to embrace that and to feel safe to speak and to have that two-way communication and to share my thoughts and feelings.
- 27:13Speaker 1: That has been like that has been work for me, especially because my Southland is in Libra.
- 27:18Speaker 1: But so, yeah, looking to your chart to see where Libra is, see where Taurus is, see what's in the second and the seventh house, and just to see where Venus is in your chart and what that means, so understanding your Venus sign can give you insight into what makes you feel loved and fulfilled.
- 27:34Speaker 1: So, again, going back to my example, I'm going to get into what Venus ruling each side means.
- 27:38Speaker 1: But for me, venus and Gemini, being heard, being able to talk and communicate and have conversations and be playful and fun and a little like tricky or like not tricky, but like kind of like jokesters, like that kind of energy I love, right, it also helps you understand how you show love and affection to others, right?
- 27:57Speaker 1: So if you know me and I am like and we're cool, like I can be, I do play jokes all the time, like I will always be joking around with you Like I can be, I do play jokes all the time Like I will always be joking around with you, that's just it.
- 28:09Speaker 1: But you only really see that when I am like, when I care for you or you're in my inner circle, then I can show affection in that way.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Otherwise I'm really I kind of am I don't want to say standoffish, but I observe a lot, I watch and I wait and I see how you engage and then I decide if I want to engage with you or not.
- 28:26Speaker 1: But once you know your Venus sign, you can really start to work with the energy to bring more of that into your life, right, to bring more beauty, more love, more pleasure.
- 28:32Speaker 1: So, for example, if your Venus is in a fire sign, like Leo or Aries, you might crave passion, excitement, bold expressions of love, right, you're drawn to adventure and action in your relationships.
- 28:45Speaker 1: And then, if your venus is in an earth sign, like taurus, where it rules, or virgo, you probably value stability, loyalty, practicality and love, and you may express affection through acts of service or physical touch.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Right?
- 28:59Speaker 1: So by aligning with your venus energy, you can attract more of what you value and desire into your life.
- 29:05Speaker 1: What's really interesting so?
- 29:06Speaker 1: So I'm a Taurus sun and the last two people they it's.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Their astrology is actually wildly similar, which is crazy.
- 29:12Speaker 1: They're both cancer sun, capricorn moon, and they both have Venus in Taurus.
- 29:16Speaker 1: So I think, like the attraction is there because of my Taurus energy and they both have always said, like when I'm in my not, they haven't.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Like when I'm in my not, they haven't said when I'm in my Taurus energy, but I'm translating it as that when I'm in that like slow, grounded, stable Taurus energy, that is like what they're very attracted to.
- 29:34Speaker 1: When I'm in the sort of like that passionate, chaotic Leo, like I've Leo, leo moon and Leo rising, when I'm sort of in like that that energy, it can be a little bit challenging, okay, so let's look into each Venus sign and what it means and then how you can work with that Venus sign.
- 29:53Speaker 1: So again, venus and Aries is bold, direct, passionate, right.
- 29:56Speaker 1: You go after what you want with enthusiasm.
- 29:59Speaker 1: You express love in an adventurous, spontaneous way.
- 30:02Speaker 1: You're attracted to excitement, challenges and people who are as dynamic as you are.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Right Like Venus or Aries is bold, and so you can work with this by embracing your passions right Like channel your energy into pursuing new experiences in life and love.
- 30:16Speaker 1: You thrive when you take the lead in relationships, so don't be afraid to show your true desires and work on balancing your need or independence for emotional connection.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Venus and Taurus this feels right at home because Venus rules Taurus right, so you value stability, loyalty, sensual pleasures.
- 30:36Speaker 1: You're drawn to comfort, beauty, long-lasting relationships, because it is that stability and security.
- 30:42Speaker 1: You show love through physical touch, maybe nurturing, and you deeply appreciate the pleasures of life, whether it's food, nature, art, etc.
- 30:49Speaker 1: And so you can work with this by surrounding yourself with beauty right and create routines that nurture your sense of security and pleasure.
- 30:57Speaker 1: You're a lover of consistency, so focus on building strong, long-term relationships and be mindful because these are shadows of Taurus right Of possessiveness or stubbornness in love and jealousy right, because Taurus is the opposite of Scorpio and there's jealousy there.
- 31:13Speaker 1: So Venus and Gemini, which is what I have.
- 31:17Speaker 1: But Venus and Gemini is playful, curious, communicative.
- 31:20Speaker 1: You're attracted to mental stimulation and love good conversation.
- 31:22Speaker 1: You're attracted to mental stimulation and love.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Good conversation, variety and spontaneity keep you both in love with interested in both love and life.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Right Relationships are exciting when they're intellectually engaging and fun.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I always say this, like you can be the most beautiful man on earth and if we are not intellectually connecting, if you are not stimulating my mind, I can't do it.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Intellectually connecting If you are not stimulating my mind, I can't do it.
- 31:47Speaker 1: But that spontaneity, I think that's where that things have to be like it's.
- 31:50Speaker 1: It's really.
- 31:51Speaker 1: It's an interesting dynamic Because I really value security and safety, like I want to know what I mean to you.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I I value the labels, I value the commitment, I value those things, but then, like within our dynamic, it's got to keep it.
- 32:05Speaker 1: We have to keep it interesting or I get bored very quick.
- 32:08Speaker 1: So how we can work with this right Keep things light and fun in your relationships and always feed that curiosity.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Stay open to new experiences, avoid getting bored or restless and work on deepening emotional connections to balance your love for variety.
- 32:25Speaker 1: So Venus in Cancer is nurturing, sensitive, deeply emotional.
- 32:29Speaker 1: You're all about creating a loving, cozy home and environment and making sure the people that you care about feel safe and loved.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Relationships are where you feel most secure when they're emotionally fulfilling.
- 32:40Speaker 1: So you can work with this by building emotional intimacy in your relationships.
- 32:44Speaker 1: You naturally nurture others, but remember to set healthy boundaries and care for yourself and balance your need for security with a willingness to be vulnerable.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Venus and Leo If you remember, last year we had Venus retrograde in Leo over the summer.
- 32:57Speaker 1: I think it went retrograde like July, I think July 25th, and I think it went direct in October.
- 33:04Speaker 1: It was right before the eclipses or it was on the eclipses, because it was crazy.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I had I dated a Libra rising and literally I think it was like literally within the hour that Venus went direct.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I like heard from him and it had been like a year or something.
- 33:23Speaker 1: It was crazy.
- 33:24Speaker 1: But so Venus and Leo loves to shine.
- 33:27Speaker 1: You're generous, affectionate and dramatic when it comes to love and desire.
- 33:30Speaker 1: You enjoy being adored and you tend to express love in grand, passionate ways.
- 33:34Speaker 1: You're attracted to people who make you feel special and appreciated.
- 33:37Speaker 1: This is a huge theme of Leo appreciation.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Right, it's not even about like big, like I want to be seen by everybody in the world.
- 33:45Speaker 1: No, I want to be appreciated.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I I feel that so much is that leo moon and rising.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Like I, want to be appreciated, and you can work with this um.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Let your creativity and passion shine through life and love.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Don't be afraid to ask for the admiration and attention that you deserve, but also remember to give love generously and avoid getting caught up in pride or drama and this is something that's really key in relationships, too Like if you don't tell the other person what you need, how can they meet your needs?
- 34:11Speaker 1: And so I think this is really important in all areas, but especially when it comes to Leo, venus and Virgo.
- 34:17Speaker 1: It's practical, attentive, service-oriented.
- 34:20Speaker 1: You show love through acts of service, thoughtful gestures, paying attention to details, and you value stability, reliability and someone who appreciates your efforts.
- 34:28Speaker 1: And you work with this by expressing your love through small, meaningful actions that show you care, work on embracing imperfection in relationships and avoid being overly critical both of yourself and others, and find joy in the everyday moments.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Venus and Libra, right when Venus rules Libra.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Find joy in the everyday moments, venus and Libra right when Venus rules Libra.
- 34:46Speaker 1: This is, you know, harmony, balance and relationship focus.
- 34:50Speaker 1: So you thrive in partnerships and you seek peace, beauty and fairness in all areas of your life.
- 34:55Speaker 1: You're charming, diplomatic, and you value deep connections that are built on mutual respect.
- 35:00Speaker 1: So we can work with this by focusing on creating balance, harmony in your relationships.
- 35:05Speaker 1: So we can work with this by focusing on creating balance, harmony in your relationships.
- 35:08Speaker 1: You're a natural peacemaker, but make sure that you're not sacrifice, sacrificing your own needs to keep the peace and surround yourself with beauty and find ways to create harmony in your environment.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Venus and scorpio, which is where it currently is living, and I just I love the depth.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I love venus and scorpio, um, but it's intense, it's passionate.
- 35:23Speaker 1: It's actually in its detriment here because Venus rules Taurus, so it would be in its detriment in Scorpio, but I still love it.
- 35:33Speaker 1: You can crave deep, transformative relationships and you're drawn to people who understand your emotional depth.
- 35:39Speaker 1: You may be secretive or protective of your heart, but you're fiercely loyal when you trust somebody.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Trust is a huge lesson here, and so you can work with this by embracing your passion and depth and be mindful of jealousy or possessiveness and focus on building trust in emotional intimacy and use your intense energy to transform and heal in both love and self-development.
- 36:01Speaker 1: So, venus and Sagittarius, which is going to be, I believe, this week.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Actually, it might be tomorrow, yeah, I think, or, sorry, on the full moon.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I think Venus moves into Sagittarius later in the day of the full moon and or, yeah, I think so.
- 36:14Speaker 1: But Venus in Sagittarius is adventurous, optimistic, freedom-loving.
- 36:18Speaker 1: You're attracted to exploration and new experiences in love and life.
- 36:22Speaker 1: You value honesty, independence and someone who can keep up with your adventurous spirit, and so you can work with this by keeping your relationships exciting, right, like.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Seek new adventures together, give yourself and your partner the freedom to grow and evolve, stay open-minded, but work on developing emotional depth and consistency.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Venus and Capricorn it values stability, commitment, long-term goals and relationships.
- 36:43Speaker 1: You take love seriously and prefer to build relationships that stand the test of time.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Right so you express affection through loyalty and responsibility, and you're attracted to ambition and success.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I read in one book I can't remember which book it was, it was a while ago about Capricorn.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Capricorn, like, cheating is definitely possible with everybody, but it's something like Capricorn will only do that when like all else fails type of thing, when they it's like the relationship is failing.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Because I think that they are so loyal and like and they have that responsibility of like I'm in this, I'm committed, I have to provide, I have to like, be here that it's sort of like it can be a challenge and that's not a blanket statement, because of course there's exceptions to every single.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Everything right.
- 37:29Speaker 1: We all have free will.
- 37:30Speaker 1: We all have so many different layers to our chart than just like one aspect.
- 37:33Speaker 1: That's why it's like holistic, but I think that is a key piece to Capricorn as well.
- 37:37Speaker 1: So to work with this, you can really focus on building lasting and stable relationships.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Again, you value hard work, so channel that energy into making relationships strong and secure and be mindful of not letting work or responsibilities overshadow the emotional side of love, which can happen.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Capricorn can appear cold, even though they do feel.
- 37:56Speaker 1: I just don't want anyone to know that they feel.
- 37:58Speaker 1: So if you can be a little bit vulnerable and open up and show the softer side of yourself.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Venus in Aquarius it's just weird, right, unique, independent, forward thinking.
- 38:08Speaker 1: You're attracted to unconventional relationships, people who allow you the freedom to be yourself.
- 38:13Speaker 1: You value intellectual connection and are drawn to progressive, innovative ideas, and so working with this is just like stay true to yourself, right, like be authentic and look for people who respect your need for freedom and stimulation, balance your independence with emotional connection and create meaningful, lasting bonds.
- 38:29Speaker 1: And finally, venus in Pisces dreamy, compassionate, empathetic.
- 38:33Speaker 1: You're drawn to romance, fantasy, spiritual connection within your relationships.
- 38:37Speaker 1: You give love unconditionally and you're deeply caring.
- 38:42Speaker 1: But you can struggle with boundaries or getting lost in the fantasy, and so you can work with this by just embracing your loving, compassionate nature.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Set health, healthy boundaries, really practice that setting healthy boundaries to avoid losing yourself in relationships, which is a shadow of pisces, and use your creativity and spirituality to express love in unique and meaningful ways.
- 39:01Speaker 1: So some tools that you can use, like to work with this energy right now that we've kind of like gone through each sign and what it means, how can you again create this to create more love, beauty and fulfillment within your life with, specifically when we're looking at Venus, right?
- 39:18Speaker 1: So journaling I always, always, always recommend journaling.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I love it.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I've started doing like nightly journaling, nightly reflections.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I always do morning journaling, journal my dreams, everything like that.
- 39:27Speaker 1: But write down what you value right, what do you value in life, what do you value in your relationships, and look through the lens of your Venus sign, if you can, right Like how do you express love and what makes you feel loved.
- 39:40Speaker 1: So those are really great journaling prompts Affirmations I love affirmations.
- 39:44Speaker 1: You can do affirmations in your journal.
- 39:46Speaker 1: You can put an affirmation as your reminder on your phone and set it off every so often during the day, right?
- 39:51Speaker 1: But create affirmations to really strengthen self-love and your connection to your Venus energy.
- 39:55Speaker 1: So, for example, venus and Taurus, you might say I deserve stability and comfort in my relationships and I attract loyal and loving connections.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Rituals Actually, it's interesting, I've been doing more rituals lately and, except for the last one, I almost broke my house down, so I'm kind of like haven't done it since then, but rituals are really beautiful to incorporate into your routine.
- 40:19Speaker 1: So again, likeus loves beauty and creativity, right.
- 40:24Speaker 1: So creating a ritual that is centered on you know something of that, of that venusian theme, can be really beautiful and integrating that energy, um.
- 40:35Speaker 1: And so again, working with your venus sign, you attract more love, joy and abundance and all those things.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Of course, looking at the aspects and this is where astrology is beautiful, because even if you have, like, harsh aspects, you can sort of like allow that part of yourself.
- 40:47Speaker 1: You can then see that part of yourself, you can accept that part of yourself and it's really beautiful.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Like, for me, I have Venus opposite Uranus.
- 40:54Speaker 1: This is so challenging because I'm always seeking something.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It's just, relationships always feel unstable and unpredictable a little bit, and when I kind of found that out, I was like, oh, that makes so much sense, like it's always gonna be that cycle.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Like I'm always gonna want independence within my relationships, right, but I also want this real, I want this closeness, and so it's just, it's this balance that now I can see and I can sort of integrate in a new way, right.
- 41:21Speaker 1: So I hope you enjoyed this episode.
- 41:24Speaker 1: If you resonated with it, share it with a friend, rate review, subscribe, right.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Like I think understanding your venus can really bring you so much insight into how you love and we all want to love and be loved, right.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Um, understanding what you value because I think that's been something that's been coming up for me a lot lately is just like really staying true to my values and just how to bring more joy and harmony into your life, right.
- 41:46Speaker 1: So I really hope, again that it inspired you to work with your venus energy.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Um, and yeah, if you are not on the mastery monday email letter, uh, newsletter you guys, there's got to be something with my mercury, because my words have just not been coming today but if you are not on the Mastery Monday newsletter.
- 42:09Speaker 1: I send it out once a week but I have some fun things that are coming soon.
