- 0:11Speaker 2: Bang, boom, what you gonna do?
- 0:13Speaker 4: John Jay and Rich.
- 0:14Speaker 5: We're not talking about Ren 1010.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We're not talking about Lashley. It's the one and only dog, y'all.
- 0:19Speaker 2: The classy, sassy Big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your
- 0:22Speaker 2: face to me and in the place to be. And
- 0:24Speaker 2: you're listening to John Jay and Rich.
- 0:26Speaker 6: Wake your ass up.
- 0:28Speaker 7: You can call us at 877-937-1047. You can also text us.
- 0:32Speaker 7: Text JJR, whatever you want to talk about, to 966. eight, nine, three, Nick,
- 0:38Speaker 7: our producer in the studio, you know, young dad.
- 0:42Speaker 6: And when you're a young dad, you, you get volunteered.
- 0:44Speaker 6: What do you call it? Kyle, you called something.
- 0:45Speaker 2: You're when you volunteer, I remember you're voluntold.
- 0:48Speaker 6: You're voluntold.
- 0:48Speaker 2: That's what you said.
- 0:49Speaker 7: You bought your husband with time. So were you voluntold
- 0:52Speaker 7: this or did you do it on your own?
- 0:54Speaker 2: So I was voluntold that I had the opportunity to, uh,
- 1:00Speaker 2: coach my son's T-ball team. Uh, if there's one sport
- 1:04Speaker 2: that I cannot coach, it's, T-ball. It's baseball.
- 1:09Speaker 6: You can't?
- 1:10Speaker 2: No, I am not a baseball player at all. But
- 1:13Speaker 2: you're a baseball fan. I love baseball, but I just
- 1:17Speaker 2: never got the mechanics of it. Anyway, so another one
- 1:21Speaker 2: of our friends was like, I will be the head coach,
- 1:22Speaker 2: but I can't be here for X week. And I'm like, okay,
- 1:27Speaker 2: then I'll take on the head coaching duties then. And
- 1:31Speaker 2: we're like midway through the season. They're four and five-year-olds,
- 1:34Speaker 2: and considering that fact alone... it's going all right you
- 1:38Speaker 2: know like there's a little chaos but nobody's afraid of
- 1:40Speaker 2: the ball everybody's like really willing to play we get
- 1:45Speaker 2: to the game where i am at home plate while
- 1:50Speaker 2: the kids are batting um and we get through the
- 1:54Speaker 2: one inning and everything's great you know all the kids
- 1:57Speaker 2: get to bat all you know every inning whatever blah
- 1:59Speaker 2: blah so we get to the second inning and i'm
- 2:03Speaker 2: Ready to go. And I'm feeling good. I'm like, man,
- 2:05Speaker 2: this is something that I didn't think I was going
- 2:06Speaker 2: to be able to do. I did not think I
- 2:08Speaker 2: was going to be able to rile these kids up
- 2:10Speaker 2: and get them motivated and ready to go. So I'm
- 2:12Speaker 2: feeling confident. And I put the ball in the tee.
- 2:16Speaker 2: And I check with the other team. Hey, are you
- 2:19Speaker 2: guys ready to go? And they're like, yeah. And as
- 2:23Speaker 2: they're saying yeah, and in my peripheral vision, I see
- 2:27Speaker 2: the bat being swung. This little monster... clocked me in
- 2:33Speaker 2: my left knee about as hard as any baseball has
- 2:39Speaker 2: ever been hit in the history of mankind.
- 2:44Speaker 8: No.
- 2:44Speaker 2: And on the air, I can't say the words that
- 2:47Speaker 2: I did say.
- 2:48Speaker 9: In front of the children?
- 2:51Speaker 2: In front of the children, in front of the children's parents. Like,
- 2:54Speaker 2: it was just like, oh, mother.
- 2:57Speaker 10: Wow. Wow.
- 2:59Speaker 2: And the coach that was at first base was like,
- 3:04Speaker 2: I didn't see it, but I heard it. And then
- 3:08Speaker 2: the coach at third base was like, no, I saw
- 3:12Speaker 2: and I heard it.
- 3:13Speaker 11: He's like, maybe you should go sit down. We're at
- 3:17Speaker 11: a week now, guys. And my three toes, my small
- 3:22Speaker 11: three toes are numb.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Ow. Because I've got apparently some deep bone bruise.
- 3:27Speaker 12: Are you okay? That goes all the way down?
- 3:29Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 3:30Speaker 2: And so I have retired from coaching.
- 3:33Speaker 7: You know what's funny? If you're limping, hey, Nick, what happened?
- 3:36Speaker 7: T-ball accident. You can't say baseball. You can't say softball.
- 3:42Speaker 2: You can't say T-ball. Anytime anybody says, like, why are
- 3:44Speaker 2: you limping? I have to tell them. It's a long story.
- 3:48Speaker 2: And I just leave it at that and I walk away. Yeah. Lisa,
- 3:53Speaker 2: you got a T-ball story?
- 3:55Speaker 8: Yes, I do. And I got to tell you guys,
- 3:58Speaker 8: it is one that gets worse every second. So, okay,
- 4:03Speaker 8: so my nephew's at like this first football game of his. Okay,
- 4:07Speaker 8: super wholesome. Everyone's clapping and out of nowhere he swings.
- 4:11Speaker 8: And he lets go of the bat and then it
- 4:13Speaker 8: like helicopter launches and just stands and hits my ex-boyfriend
- 4:17Speaker 8: straight in the forehead.
- 4:18Speaker 13: Oh, no.
- 4:21Speaker 2: That really had to travel.
- 4:22Speaker 8: It doesn't stop there. It does not stop there because
- 4:25Speaker 8: everyone then rushes over and the kid starts running the
- 4:29Speaker 8: bases like nothing happened. And then he trips over third,
- 4:35Speaker 8: which makes him take out the coach. And now there
- 4:38Speaker 8: are two grown adults on the ground. And this five-year-old
- 4:41Speaker 8: is just standing at home plate, just flossing.
- 4:44Speaker 12: You know that?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 9: Oh, my gosh.
- 4:51Speaker 2: That's the thing. The kids don't think twice about it.
- 4:53Speaker 2: They're just like, okay. They're like, my parents are making
- 4:57Speaker 2: me be here.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Lisa, thanks for sharing that story, Lisa. Thanks.
- 5:02Speaker 9: Of course.
- 5:03Speaker 7: You know, I remember, and it's so funny sometimes, I
- 5:05Speaker 7: have these memories that pop up because of this radio show.
- 5:08Speaker 7: But I don't know if you guys know, do you
- 5:09Speaker 7: guys ever know, did I ever bring it up, did
- 5:11Speaker 7: I ever bring it up that I coached my son's
- 5:12Speaker 7: soccer team?
- 5:13Speaker 2: No, I don't remember that. My son, Kemp, was on a.
- 5:15Speaker 7: Soccer team and there was a head coach and he,
- 5:18Speaker 7: I think the wives of all of them told me.
- 5:21Speaker 7: And we did it, and we bet a team that
- 5:23Speaker 7: we were going to win, and the bet payoff was
- 5:26Speaker 7: the two coaches, me and the other coach, whoever lost
- 5:29Speaker 7: the next game had to wear no shirt and a tutu.
- 5:34Speaker 14: Yikes.
- 5:34Speaker 6: And that's what you had to wear in the team photos.
- 5:37Speaker 15: Oh, jeez.
- 5:38Speaker 2: And we lost.
- 5:39Speaker 10: No.
- 5:41Speaker 9: Where is this team photo?
- 5:42Speaker 6: It's framed in my son Kemp's bedroom.
- 5:44Speaker 10: Oh my gosh.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Bring it in.
- 5:45Speaker 15: It's terrible.
- 5:46Speaker 6: No shirt on.
- 5:48Speaker 7: And it's everybody, all the other kids, the kids like
- 5:51Speaker 7: stand there normal, except Kemp's doing some weird pose. But
- 5:54Speaker 7: it's like the dad, one dad has got no shirt
- 5:57Speaker 7: on and a tutu. And then I'm on the other side,
- 5:58Speaker 7: no shirt on and a tutu.
- 6:00Speaker 2: It's terrible. Terrible. Terrible.
- 6:02Speaker 6: Clearly 28 to 35% body fat in that photo. It's
- 6:09Speaker 6: John Jay and Rich.
- 6:12Speaker 12: This is John Jay and Rich.
- 6:18Speaker 15: I'm going to let you know the thing that your
- 6:20Speaker 15: Zodiac sign refuses to admit.
- 6:23Speaker 2: All right, let's say hello to Mary Kay. Good morning,
- 6:24Speaker 2: Mary Kay.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Hi, good morning, guys.
- 6:28Speaker 6: What's your sign?
- 6:29Speaker 4: I'm an Aries.
- 6:31Speaker 15: Okay, so my Aries, the thing that you guys refuse
- 6:34Speaker 15: to admit is that you aggressively create your own stress
- 6:37Speaker 15: by treating every single day like it's this high-stakes competitive race.
- 6:41Speaker 15: I promise nobody's trying to outwork you or outspeed you
- 6:44Speaker 15: at 9 a.m. Aries, you guys just completely look at
- 6:47Speaker 15: your own redlining over your basic to-do list.
- 6:52Speaker 14: That sounds pretty accurate.
- 6:53Speaker 4: We are our own worst enemies, I swear.
- 6:55Speaker 1: For sure.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Oh, Mary Kay. Have a great day, Mary Kay.
- 7:01Speaker 8: Thanks guys.
- 7:01Speaker 14: You too.
- 7:02Speaker 10: Bye-bye.
- 7:03Speaker 6: Hello, Jen.
- 7:05Speaker 12: Good morning. Good morning.
- 7:07Speaker 2: What's your sign, Jen?
- 7:08Speaker 4: I'm a cancer.
- 7:10Speaker 15: Okay, so for my cancers, the things that you guys
- 7:12Speaker 15: refuse to admit is that you actually enjoy swimming in
- 7:16Speaker 15: your own emotional misery sometimes. You hold on to grudges
- 7:19Speaker 15: like they're premium collectibles. Your hypersensitive water sign will rewrite
- 7:24Speaker 15: a tiny accidental text shown shift into this massive full-scale
- 7:29Speaker 15: betrayal just so you can feel something.
- 7:31Speaker 13: Oh my gosh, I feel like you just scoped rich.
- 7:37Speaker 14: Like I am very emotional.
- 7:39Speaker 13: I don't hold grudges, but I love crying.
- 7:42Speaker 2: You do?
- 7:44Speaker 13: Yes, I'm having a rich moment right now.
- 7:46Speaker 12: I don't love crying, but I mean, when you watch
- 7:48Speaker 12: Hail Mary and that rock tries to sacrifice themselves to save.
- 7:52Speaker 2: That rock. That rock. That rock. Made you cry. I
- 7:57Speaker 2: cried over a rock.
- 8:01Speaker 14: Thank you for scoping me, Pepe.
- 8:02Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Bye. Thanks, Jen.
- 8:04Speaker 6: All right, how about Libros?
- 8:06Speaker 15: Libros, Kyle, you refuse to admit that your chronic indecisiveness
- 8:10Speaker 15: is actually a deep fear of everyone in the room
- 8:13Speaker 15: not liking you.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Ouch.
- 8:15Speaker 15: You will spend 45 minutes violently agreeing with two opposite
- 8:18Speaker 15: sides of a fight just to maintain the peace in
- 8:21Speaker 15: the middle.
- 8:22Speaker 9: Incorrect, Peyton.
- 8:24Speaker 1: We agree because we can see both sides.
- 8:27Speaker 9: We can see both sides.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:29Speaker 9: Also, who wants everyone in the room to not like them?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Oh man.
- 8:38Speaker 6: You know what's funny about it?
- 8:38Speaker 2: You say that. So I have a, you know, the
- 8:40Speaker 2: highly successful John J Van Ness podcast. Yes.
- 8:43Speaker 7: Also on Instagram, you can follow the John J Van
- 8:45Speaker 7: Ness podcast. I don't run that podcast. I have no,
- 8:49Speaker 7: no access to it or nothing. And there's a couple
- 8:52Speaker 7: of the guests I've interviewed has got some like a
- 8:54Speaker 7: negative comment or two and I feel bad for the guests. So.
- 8:57Speaker 7: I'll call up the guy that runs it, Tyler, my
- 8:59Speaker 7: podcast creator. And I'll be like, hey, somebody said something.
- 9:02Speaker 7: I go, can you do it? They don't need that.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Delete it.
- 9:04Speaker 6: He's like, all right.
- 9:05Speaker 7: And then the other day I was there doing the podcast.
- 9:07Speaker 7: And he goes, man, there's been a couple of haters
- 9:10Speaker 7: so far. It's because I've never seen so much hate.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And I was like, huh?
- 9:15Speaker 6: And I go, how many comments? Three comments he had
- 9:17Speaker 6: to delete. I go, bro, I get it.
- 9:20Speaker 16: Thousands i go let it bounce off who cares three
- 9:25Speaker 16: and he goes yeah and then they get mad and
- 9:27Speaker 16: say why do you keep deleting comments like well block
- 9:29Speaker 16: those guys if they say why you delete comments because
- 9:31Speaker 16: we don't there's no room for negativity on this instagram
- 9:34Speaker 16: the john j vaness.
- 9:35Speaker 7: Podcast is a positive podcast follow to instagram uh speaking
- 9:39Speaker 7: of john j vaness what's his instagram he's a virgo
- 9:42Speaker 7: what do you got for uh For Virgos.
- 9:44Speaker 15: Well, the thing that my Virgos refuse to admit is
- 9:46Speaker 15: that your constant, quote unquote, helpful advice is actually just
- 9:50Speaker 15: a passive aggressive urge to micromanage and control everyone around you.
- 9:54Speaker 15: You truly believe you're saving the day when in reality,
- 9:56Speaker 15: people are just deeply exhausted by you.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Wow.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Wowzers. That works.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Sorry, it's the stars that set it on me. He
- 10:06Speaker 1: just says that works.
- 10:07Speaker 2: That's fine. Did we get everybody?
- 10:08Speaker 6: Did we do everybody's? Yeah, we're all good.
- 10:10Speaker 8: All right.
- 10:11Speaker 6: If you need to get your sound, I'll post it
- 10:12Speaker 6: on our website, johnjainrich.com.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I was a ghost.
- 10:16Speaker 10: I was alone.
- 10:16Speaker 4: You know.
- 10:25Speaker 6: April, good morning.
- 10:26Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 10:27Speaker 6: How are you? Thanks for holding.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 10:29Speaker 12: I'm good.
- 10:29Speaker 4: How are you?
- 10:30Speaker 12: Good.
- 10:30Speaker 6: What's up?
- 10:32Speaker 13: Oh, you know, I've got a lot going on. Yeah?
- 10:36Speaker 16: Like?
- 10:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:38Speaker 10: Like?
- 10:42Speaker 2: Like what, April?
- 10:45Speaker 10: April?
- 10:46Speaker 3: Like what?
- 10:48Speaker 10: Oh, so, um.
- 10:50Speaker 7: You know.
- 10:50Speaker 8: What?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Sorry, April.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Leave her alone.
- 10:56Speaker 6: Go ahead.
- 10:57Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 10:59Speaker 6: What's going on, April?
- 11:02Speaker 12: Like what?
- 11:04Speaker 13: Well, you know, I'm calling because my family has just
- 11:07Speaker 13: been on my back for quite a while.
- 11:11Speaker 10: Okay.
- 11:12Speaker 2: How about? Is that it? Um.
- 11:15Speaker 13: Okay, I've been single for about a year, and I
- 11:18Speaker 13: am really, really, really enjoying it. I feel like I'm
- 11:21Speaker 13: getting to know myself for the first time. But they
- 11:25Speaker 13: don't love it. My parents think that the longer I'm single,
- 11:32Speaker 13: the more likely it is that they will end up
- 11:36Speaker 13: with no grandkids, and that's just unfathomable to them.
- 11:40Speaker 16: And so.
- 11:42Speaker 13: I finally got tired of it.
- 11:43Speaker 14: It was like a call every day.
- 11:44Speaker 13: So I created an AI bot and I've been dating him.
- 11:51Speaker 9: And this AI bot somehow appeases your family because they
- 11:55Speaker 9: don't know it's an AI bot or what?
- 11:57Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 11:59Speaker 13: I gave him everything. I gave him a name. I
- 12:01Speaker 13: have all these fun details about him that you'd know
- 12:04Speaker 13: if you were dating someone. And I told him that
- 12:07Speaker 13: he's a travel photographer, which explains why he's never around.
- 12:12Speaker 13: And they are just eating it up.
- 12:15Speaker 12: What happens when it's time for the holidays?
- 12:19Speaker 10: She's gone all year for that.
- 12:20Speaker 9: They broke up.
- 12:23Speaker 7: And by the way, I don't think she's alone. I
- 12:24Speaker 7: think a lot of people do this. That's what I've
- 12:26Speaker 7: been hearing a lot about.
- 12:28Speaker 14: Exactly.
- 12:28Speaker 13: And I thought I had until the holidays just sort
- 12:31Speaker 13: of figure that out. You know, we had a bad breakup.
- 12:33Speaker 13: Except now my sister just told me that she booked
- 12:38Speaker 13: this really fancy restaurant for my birthday. And she's insisting
- 12:42Speaker 13: that he come. So my deadline has moved up.
- 12:46Speaker 8: Oh.
- 12:47Speaker 2: You just break up before then.
- 12:49Speaker 12: Can you find somebody on a dating site that resembles
- 12:52Speaker 12: your AI bot and then just have them play the part?
- 12:55Speaker 12: And then you guys will actually fall in love like
- 12:57Speaker 12: every good rom-com?
- 12:59Speaker 13: You know, that was my first idea. And I think
- 13:01Speaker 13: it's a good plan, right? I was wondering if it's
- 13:04Speaker 13: better to do that or... But I'm scared that they'll
- 13:08Speaker 13: find out that he'll slip up or something. Like, that
- 13:10Speaker 13: would have to be a good actor. Or I could
- 13:14Speaker 13: kill him off.
- 13:15Speaker 6: Yeah, you break up the relationship.
- 13:17Speaker 10: Kill him off?
- 13:18Speaker 1: How do you kill him off? I have to go
- 13:20Speaker 1: to the funeral today.
- 13:21Speaker 17: He died?
- 13:22Speaker 10: What?
- 13:23Speaker 12: That is so extreme. He was taking a selfie with
- 13:27Speaker 12: a leopard. He has a travel photographer, and the leopard
- 13:29Speaker 12: got him.
- 13:30Speaker 15: That just happened to some girl in China. The snow leopard,
- 13:33Speaker 15: didn't you see that?
- 13:34Speaker 2: Yes.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a girl in China. They were hiking.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Isn't the Appalachian Mountains somewhere over there?
- 13:39Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 13:39Speaker 15: They were in the mountains where the snow mountains.
- 13:41Speaker 6: It was a big story in Stacks and Hacks a
- 13:43Speaker 6: few weeks ago.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Yeah, she took a selfie. A few weeks ago.
- 13:46Speaker 2: And it attacked her. That's so scary, though.
- 13:49Speaker 13: It just happens.
- 13:50Speaker 8: I don't think it's... Does that make sense?
- 13:52Speaker 9: I think if you kill off the AI chatbot boyfriend,
- 13:56Speaker 9: you're going to be hacked.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Just break up with him.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Just break up with him. I don't know.
- 14:00Speaker 12: I like your extreme love of drama.
- 14:02Speaker 6: You saw he was mean to a dog, and so
- 14:03Speaker 6: you ended it. And that was it.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And then no one's going to question that.
- 14:06Speaker 10: Okay.
- 14:06Speaker 13: I was just scared to hire somebody or, or find
- 14:09Speaker 13: somebody on a dating app because then I've, I've showed
- 14:12Speaker 13: them pictures that I've generated.
- 14:16Speaker 12: You're not falling for this AI bot.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Are you?
- 14:18Speaker 12: Cause that's another good rom-com.
- 14:20Speaker 2: She gave all her money.
- 14:23Speaker 13: Really bad idea on my part. I'm so far.
- 14:25Speaker 6: No, she created him and he scammed her out all
- 14:28Speaker 6: her money.
- 14:29Speaker 10: Oh no.
- 14:29Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:31Speaker 6: Well, you're in the tough bind too, man. Well, Thanks
- 14:34Speaker 6: for calling in, April.
- 14:36Speaker 13: Thank you for having me.
- 14:37Speaker 6: Totally.
- 14:38Speaker 7: I mean, I think what you're going through right now
- 14:40Speaker 7: is actually going to be more common than we think,
- 14:42Speaker 7: especially now when you put these chatbots. You put the
- 14:45Speaker 7: personality into a humanoid robot, and then you have a person.
- 14:48Speaker 7: There are going to be more and more similar people.
- 14:49Speaker 9: Yeah, once they start releasing those robots.
- 14:51Speaker 2: That's the future. All right, April.
- 14:53Speaker 6: Thanks for listening.
- 14:58Speaker 7: I got a DM from Andrea. Really, really interesting situation
- 15:03Speaker 7: she's in. And, well, I said, can we get your number?
- 15:06Speaker 7: You got to come and tell the story.
- 15:07Speaker 6: Andrea, good morning.
- 15:08Speaker 14: Good morning, guys.
- 15:09Speaker 6: What's going on?
- 15:11Speaker 14: Well, my poor grandmother, she's in her 80s. And my
- 15:16Speaker 14: grandpa passed away recently. And she was married to him
- 15:18Speaker 14: for over 40 years. And now she is single and
- 15:23Speaker 14: ready to mingle and has a very active Facebook life now. Um,
- 15:29Speaker 14: and we've noticed she started sharing a lot of pictures
- 15:32Speaker 14: of like Kevin Costner and like sharing from the specific site. Um,
- 15:38Speaker 14: and we, at first we're.
- 15:39Speaker 8: Like, oh, that's weird.
- 15:41Speaker 14: And then the more she started sharing, the more we
- 15:44Speaker 14: started realizing, oh, she, she thinks she's talking to this
- 15:47Speaker 14: person and she doesn't even realize it says Kevin Costner
- 15:52Speaker 14: fan page and Um, but this accountant started commenting on
- 15:57Speaker 14: her stuff. She started commenting on his stuff and we
- 16:01Speaker 14: thought it.
- 16:01Speaker 8: Was cute at first.
- 16:03Speaker 14: It was kind of silly. You know, he would say
- 16:05Speaker 14: how beautiful she is. Um, and then as the weeks
- 16:09Speaker 14: went by, we realized she's definitely sending this man money
- 16:12Speaker 14: and she has no idea that these comments are public. Um,
- 16:17Speaker 14: and I, John Jay, I think you'll like this. she
- 16:20Speaker 14: also thinks she's talking to, um, Mark Harmon.
- 16:25Speaker 9: Mark definitely doesn't make, um, Kevin.
- 16:29Speaker 14: Costner is definitely her number one, but, um, Yeah, I
- 16:44Speaker 14: told my dad and I said, you got to tell her.
- 16:47Speaker 14: She doesn't know that these are public messages and not him.
- 16:53Speaker 14: And she got pretty defensive. She said, no, this is
- 16:56Speaker 14: Mark Harmon and this is Kevin Costner. Don't you worry.
- 16:59Speaker 14: You know, it's just friends and I'm not sending him money.
- 17:04Speaker 14: But her Facebook posts are definitely insinuating otherwise.
- 17:09Speaker 6: Why would she send Kevin Costner money? I mean, I
- 17:11Speaker 6: know he's out of work now.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Why would Kevin say he needed it?
- 17:13Speaker 6: Because he's like, hey, I'm not in season six of Yellowstone.
- 17:15Speaker 10: Right.
- 17:16Speaker 6: Like, you know what I mean? Like, why would she
- 17:20Speaker 6: do that?
- 17:21Speaker 17: I know.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 14: But she's very happy. And does not want people to
- 17:28Speaker 14: disrupt her happiness. But she definitely has no idea that
- 17:32Speaker 14: these are public messages.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Is your grandma, like, is she, like, losing her mind?
- 17:36Speaker 14: Like, seriously.
- 17:37Speaker 15: Because, you know, when you get older, like, things change
- 17:39Speaker 15: and things like that. Is she a little crazy because
- 17:42Speaker 15: she's getting older?
- 17:42Speaker 14: I think she's definitely a thousand percent.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:47Speaker 14: But still has the capability of sending money.
- 17:51Speaker 12: Isn't that the slow roll where they just give her
- 17:53Speaker 12: compliments and then soon, I'm air-quoting Kevin Costner, is going
- 17:57Speaker 12: to be like, I need a little money to help
- 17:59Speaker 12: Horizon 2 get off the ground, but I'll pay you
- 18:01Speaker 12: right back. Isn't that the way those things always roll out?
- 18:04Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 18:05Speaker 14: But then what's sad is at one point, her most
- 18:07Speaker 14: recent message was on his comments, and she said, I'm tired.
- 18:12Speaker 13: Of you giving me mixed signals. I just want to know.
- 18:19Speaker 14: The truth. So she's, she's kind of catching on. Maybe, um,
- 18:25Speaker 14: that maybe he's a little shady, but, um.
- 18:27Speaker 6: Does she call him Kevin or Kevin Costner?
- 18:29Speaker 7: I think Kevin.
- 18:35Speaker 6: Oh, look at this.
- 18:35Speaker 14: But anyway, that reminded me of Grant. I just want
- 18:38Speaker 14: to know how he handled his situation back in the
- 18:40Speaker 14: day with his mom. I feel like I never heard
- 18:42Speaker 14: a follow-up.
- 18:43Speaker 6: Okay, well, Grant is in here, but let me just
- 18:44Speaker 6: read you this headline.
- 18:45Speaker 7: I just typed in Kevin Costner scams, and it says,
- 18:48Speaker 7: this woman says, big article, I was scammed out of
- 18:52Speaker 7: $ 200, 000 by a fake Kevin Costner.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Dang.
- 18:56Speaker 6: Man, do you got to be.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 18:57Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:57Speaker 6: All right, so, Grant, what happened to you? Because remember,
- 18:59Speaker 6: your mom was sending money to.
- 19:00Speaker 10: Nigeria.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Nigeria.
- 19:02Speaker 5: I mean, well, I mean, to several people who all
- 19:06Speaker 5: ended up being, I think, the same person.
- 19:09Speaker 2: But you got very involved.
- 19:10Speaker 5: Oh, man, I got blocked by, like, I was calling
- 19:13Speaker 5: down there, like, probably four or five times, like, a
- 19:17Speaker 5: week and getting a hold of people and talking to
- 19:19Speaker 5: them to record evidence, basically, that, hey, this is a scam.
- 19:23Speaker 6: For your mom, not for a government or to arrest them.
- 19:26Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 19:27Speaker 5: I mean, there's no jurisdiction anyway. Like, nobody can do
- 19:29Speaker 5: anything here. for a crime that's happening over there but
- 19:33Speaker 5: i think like ultimately the stuff that ends up happening
- 19:36Speaker 5: with like this kevin costner scam is they'll say oh
- 19:40Speaker 5: you caught me i'm not kevin costner but we have
- 19:42Speaker 5: this amazing emotional connection right and then they're like well
- 19:46Speaker 5: yeah he is a scammer but this is why he
- 19:48Speaker 5: did this we still have had these conversations.
- 19:51Speaker 2: We've still talked.
- 19:51Speaker 12: We've still established this connection.
- 19:54Speaker 5: Even though he lied to me about being Kevin Costner,
- 19:56Speaker 5: he's still a really great guy that needs $ 200 for
- 19:59Speaker 5: a new pair of shoes.
- 20:00Speaker 6: And your mom fell for that?
- 20:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 6: Is your mom done with the Nigerian people?
- 20:05Speaker 2: I think so.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Honestly, there's a point, too, where it's like, I love
- 20:09Speaker 5: my mom, and I'm not going to be her boss.
- 20:12Speaker 5: I'm not going to be the guy who's like, you
- 20:14Speaker 5: can't talk to whoever you want to talk to. You
- 20:16Speaker 5: can't do what you want to do. So at a
- 20:18Speaker 5: point I was just like, you know what? I did
- 20:20Speaker 5: everything I could. I've literally become enemy number one in
- 20:23Speaker 5: this Nigerian hair salon. Uh, so, uh, I did my
- 20:28Speaker 5: part and she, I think has now moved on and
- 20:31Speaker 5: is now talking to Kevin Costner.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 12: Kevin Costner.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I'm going to Kevin.
- 20:36Speaker 5: I'm going to uncle Kev's.
- 20:41Speaker 7: But you brought up Mark Harmon, by the way, Andrea,
- 20:43Speaker 7: you brought up Mark Harmon and, uh, We're big fans
- 20:46Speaker 7: of Mark Harmon over here.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Hello, I'm Mark Harmon. Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark Harmon. Mark Harmon.
- 20:51Speaker 6: This movie starring Mark Harmon on TV.
- 20:54Speaker 7: Look at Mark Harmon. It starred Mark Harmon. Wait, look
- 20:57Speaker 7: up Mark Harmon too. Mark Harmon played him early. I
- 20:59Speaker 7: think it might have been the 80s or something. And
- 21:01Speaker 7: Mark Harmon is really good. Yeah, that's Mark Harmon. That's
- 21:03Speaker 7: Mark Harmon. What do you see here, Lois?
- 21:05Speaker 2: Do we have to? What do you see?
- 21:08Speaker 1: A picture of Mark Harmon.
- 21:10Speaker 3: A picture of Mark Harmon, the greatest actor who ever lived.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Do you see a wheelchair under Mark Harmon?
- 21:16Speaker 13: Peter.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Lois, do you see a wheelchair under Mark Harmon?
- 21:23Speaker 10: No.
- 21:24Speaker 2: No, you do not. Mark Harmon.
- 21:26Speaker 7: I was a big fan of Mark Harmon. Well, we
- 21:29Speaker 7: hope she stops sending money to Kevin Costner.
- 21:32Speaker 14: Yeah, me too. Well, Grant, I'm glad your mom is
- 21:35Speaker 14: doing well, too.
- 21:36Speaker 12: Well, thank you.
- 21:36Speaker 5: I would just tell your dad or whoever is involved
- 21:39Speaker 5: just like, yeah, you know, be like, hey, what's the deal?
- 21:42Speaker 5: Ask the questions. They are hard to give logical answers to. Like,
- 21:45Speaker 5: have you met this guy? Are you planning on meeting
- 21:47Speaker 5: this guy?
- 21:48Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 21:49Speaker 5: What's his plan moving forward with you? And because, you know,
- 21:53Speaker 5: you're you've got a financial, you know, thing going on
- 21:57Speaker 5: that you I don't know.
- 21:58Speaker 14: Who is this co-star?
- 21:58Speaker 6: No way out.
- 21:59Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 7: Ask a bunch of Kevin or Kevin Costner trivia and
- 22:07Speaker 7: see if she gets it.
- 22:08Speaker 2: All right.
- 22:09Speaker 6: Thank you, Andrea. Thanks for calling.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I hope Grant helped you a little bit.
- 22:12Speaker 8: Thanks guys.
- 22:13Speaker 10: I appreciate it.
- 22:17Speaker 16: Okay.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Bye-bye. Bye.
- 22:22Speaker 7: It's time for stacks and acts. I have stacks of information.
- 22:25Speaker 7: Rich has life hacks. I start off my stacks of
- 22:28Speaker 7: information by playing a little song.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Guess who this is?
- 22:32Speaker 10: Ed Sheeran.
- 22:45Speaker 15: I would say, like, let's say Sam Hunt since you
- 22:47Speaker 15: just talked about him.
- 22:48Speaker 6: It's the NBA star Jimmy Butler.
- 22:50Speaker 1: No way.
- 22:51Speaker 6: Really?
- 22:51Speaker 10: Wow.
- 22:52Speaker 7: Jimmy Butler is releasing a country album. That's a clip
- 22:55Speaker 7: of a song.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Not bad.
- 22:55Speaker 1: That doesn't even sound like Jimmy Butler.
- 22:58Speaker 2: It's not A.I. Jimmy Butler? It's not A.I. It's not A.I.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Oh, it's a trippy.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Anyway, yeah, so that was kind of cool.
- 23:04Speaker 6: And listen to this. So this is a big story.
- 23:07Speaker 2: A truck carrying fireworks exploded on I-17 in Tennessee. The
- 23:10Speaker 2: video's amazing. It goes on and on and on. We've exploded.
- 23:25Speaker 7: Okay, now, I might need a little help explaining this.
- 23:30Speaker 7: The Financial Times reports that OpenAI is ready to move
- 23:35Speaker 7: on from ChatGPT because chat is dead. Apparently, in a
- 23:40Speaker 7: matter of weeks, it's going to transform into a super
- 23:44Speaker 7: app described as a gateway for agents and coding tools
- 23:47Speaker 7: to generate more revenue. I thought OpenAI and Chachapiti were
- 23:51Speaker 7: the same thing, but I don't know what that means.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Does anybody make sense, anybody?
- 23:54Speaker 9: Isn't that what it's saying?
- 23:56Speaker 12: Unless it can write code to come up with apps
- 23:58Speaker 12: and everything, so it's ready to move on from just that.
- 24:00Speaker 6: But no more Chachapiti? Like, I love Chachapiti.
- 24:03Speaker 9: I love Chachapiti.
- 24:04Speaker 15: Chachapiti.
- 24:07Speaker 7: Woman was cleaning out her garage. Her husband died about
- 24:12Speaker 7: 10 years ago, and she hadn't really cleaned out the freezer.
- 24:14Speaker 7: She goes to clean out the freezer, and she finds
- 24:16Speaker 7: 20 sticks of live dynamite. The bomb squad had to
- 24:19Speaker 7: come out. Police in California are investigating a road rage
- 24:24Speaker 7: incident that ended up with one person hitting the other
- 24:26Speaker 7: person over the head with a ukulele.
- 24:29Speaker 15: What?
- 24:30Speaker 6: Both drivers left the scene.
- 24:31Speaker 7: It doesn't sound like there are any suspects yet.
- 24:33Speaker 2: A ukulele?
- 24:34Speaker 12: It doesn't sound like that'd be that painful.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Just randomly got one in the back.
- 24:37Speaker 9: Just like, you know, sometimes you got to use whatever's
- 24:40Speaker 9: around you.
- 24:41Speaker 7: A new study says laughter can help kids lower stress,
- 24:44Speaker 7: straighten relationships, and even improve their brain development.
- 24:48Speaker 2: So it's good to get laughing at home.
- 24:50Speaker 7: Business Insider has a list of the highest paying jobs
- 24:53Speaker 7: in every state. They're all chief executives, health care jobs, lawyers, managers,
- 25:00Speaker 7: pilots and flight engineers and software developers. Well, those are
- 25:05Speaker 7: all high paying jobs.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds like it. All right.
- 25:07Speaker 7: So Dan Sullivan is accusing Dan Sullivan of rigging a
- 25:12Speaker 7: Senate race. If you don't know, there are two Republicans
- 25:14Speaker 7: with the same name in Alaska. And they're trashing each other.
- 25:18Speaker 12: How confusing.
- 25:19Speaker 7: How, like, Dan Sullivan's, like, all pissed off at the
- 25:22Speaker 7: other Dan Sullivan and doing interviews.
- 25:24Speaker 6: And it's so hard to follow.
- 25:26Speaker 2: This is serious stuff. That's Dan Sullivan. People are going, oh,
- 25:28Speaker 2: there's two Dan Sullivans. Isn't that funny?
- 25:30Speaker 18: No, it's cheating. And his whole purpose of running is
- 25:34Speaker 18: to confuse Alaskans and make them think Alaskan voters. that
- 25:39Speaker 18: somehow he's me. Then when he filed his campaign logo,
- 25:43Speaker 18: his letterhead, his website, all had my campaign logo that
- 25:51Speaker 18: I've had for 13 years.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Dan Sullivan.
- 25:54Speaker 8: Dan.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Dan Sullivan's got beef.
- 25:56Speaker 9: Dan and diabolical Dan.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Who to vote for and who not to vote for.
- 25:59Speaker 2: It's the same.
- 26:00Speaker 7: A British woman found a very unusual way of keeping
- 26:02Speaker 7: her late pet dog close to her by having his
- 26:04Speaker 7: ashes mixed in with her semi-permanent eyeliner.
- 26:08Speaker 2: What?
- 26:08Speaker 13: Ew.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 26:09Speaker 9: That grosses me out.
- 26:10Speaker 1: No, that's gross.
- 26:12Speaker 10: Mm-hmm.
- 26:13Speaker 1: That sounds like unsanitary.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I saw Peyton talk about this thing. You're talking about
- 26:17Speaker 2: this Korean thing?
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Korean lash lift.
- 26:20Speaker 7: Yeah, and there's the girl that runs our Love Pup
- 26:23Speaker 7: social media. She's amazing. Her name's Angelina. And I saw her,
- 26:27Speaker 7: so Peyton brought it up the other day.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I just heard her saying it.
- 26:29Speaker 7: And then on my Instagram, Angelina goes and gets Korean
- 26:32Speaker 7: eyeliner and, or what is it?
- 26:35Speaker 15: Korean lash lift. It's your natural eyelash. It's basically, they
- 26:39Speaker 15: put some kind of product to lift your eyelashes, but
- 26:42Speaker 15: they do it different than a regular lash lift.
- 26:45Speaker 6: I got to see this video because it looked like
- 26:46Speaker 6: they flipped her eyelids and did something.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that's kind of how it looked.
- 26:48Speaker 6: Yeah, it looked a little like, oh, thank you.
- 26:50Speaker 2: That's a little weird.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Have Angelina send me her girl because I want it back.
- 26:53Speaker 6: I'll send it to you.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Really?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:54Speaker 6: What do you have for life hacks, Rich?
- 26:56Speaker 12: You ever go to a work site and you see
- 26:57Speaker 12: the people in the vest and you're like, I wonder
- 26:59Speaker 12: what color those vests mean. Here's how you can tell.
- 27:03Speaker 12: Here's your life hack. Yellow, commonly used by general workers.
- 27:07Speaker 12: I have a yellow vest. I know you have a
- 27:08Speaker 12: yellow vest.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I try to sneak into Coachella with it.
- 27:11Speaker 12: Well, so they think you're a general worker. Orange is
- 27:14Speaker 12: traffic people. Green, safety officers. Blue, electricians. Red, emergency responders.
- 27:21Speaker 12: And if you ever want to see the person in charge,
- 27:23Speaker 12: the supervisor, white vests, knowing the color code. can make
- 27:27Speaker 12: it easier for you to find the right person quickly
- 27:29Speaker 12: when time matters and you are under the gun. That
- 27:32Speaker 12: life hack and many more can be found at johnjainrich.com.
- 27:36Speaker 10: I need.
- 27:40Speaker 2: These beautiful things that I've got.
- 27:42Speaker 6: Rich, the last couple of days, this could be a
- 27:45Speaker 6: new feature. It's called Food News.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Food News! Food News!
- 27:48Speaker 3: And now, John Jay and Rich present Food News!
- 27:55Speaker 12: Like there's stuff coming out that we need to know about. So,
- 27:58Speaker 12: you know, the 2016 trend that's been popping everywhere, Taco
- 28:03Speaker 12: Bell is all over it. So they are bringing back
- 28:07Speaker 12: four fan favorites for a limited time. But it's all
- 28:10Speaker 12: the things from 2016. The Naked Chicken Chalupa. That's the
- 28:15Speaker 12: one with the fried chicken shell. That's pretty good. They're
- 28:18Speaker 12: bringing back the Beefy Crunch Burrito with Flamin' Hot Fritos.
- 28:22Speaker 12: The classic Maxi Melt is back. And this I've never had,
- 28:26Speaker 12: but I'm all excited about it. And for dessert, Peyton,
- 28:30Speaker 12: the Caramel Apple Empanada.
- 28:33Speaker 14: Yay!
- 28:34Speaker 13: Yum!
- 28:35Speaker 12: Let's go Taco Bell. In Denny's, this is the last
- 28:39Speaker 12: food news story, but this is also important. Denny's is
- 28:43Speaker 12: finally waking up to business. They're getting into catering now. Oh, wow.
- 28:47Speaker 12: Catering at 400 locations. They plan to expand it to
- 28:51Speaker 12: 1,000 by the end of September. So the menu includes
- 28:55Speaker 12: the Grand Slam breakfast buffet, build-your-own burger bars, wings, and
- 28:59Speaker 12: individual breakfast boxes. So now you can have Denny's cater
- 29:02Speaker 12: your next focus group meeting. And so nothing says let's
- 29:07Speaker 12: crush that third quarter like some Denny's Grand Slam. Am
- 29:10Speaker 12: I right?
- 29:10Speaker 2: And that is your food news.
- 29:12Speaker 7: I would love to have Denny's cater an event. And
- 29:14Speaker 7: now the Kool-Aid test. Can you taste the flavor and
- 29:18Speaker 7: pick the flavor if you're blindfolded?
- 29:20Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 29:21Speaker 15: Kool-Aid, Kool-Aid, a five cent package makes two quarts of Kool-Aid, Kool-Aid,
- 29:28Speaker 15: nine great flavors to drink.
- 29:30Speaker 10: You love Kool-Aid, Kool-Aid.
- 29:33Speaker 12: Did they say nine great flavors?
- 29:34Speaker 6: Yeah, this morning, Rich let us know that it was
- 29:38Speaker 6: National Kool-Aid Day.
- 29:38Speaker 10: 91 flavors.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Currently available.
- 29:41Speaker 6: But did they say nine flavors here?
- 29:43Speaker 12: They say nine flavors. They've come a long way.
- 29:45Speaker 7: Could it be nine flavors and you misheard 91? Because
- 29:48Speaker 7: 91 flavors is a lot.
- 29:49Speaker 10: It's a lot.
- 29:50Speaker 2: What is it? Orange?
- 29:51Speaker 6: Kind of orange? Almost orange?
- 29:53Speaker 12: Well, they do the, you know, they do the mix up,
- 29:54Speaker 12: like the charcoal berry fins, which is a combination of like,
- 29:57Speaker 12: you know, strawberry stuff. So we're going to, We're going
- 29:59Speaker 12: to see if we can tell the difference. I wonder
- 30:01Speaker 12: if it's kind of like if you're blindfolded that you
- 30:05Speaker 12: can't tell the difference. Like it's like tricks.
- 30:07Speaker 9: So we have blindfolds here.
- 30:09Speaker 6: Let's do the taste test.
- 30:10Speaker 9: Let's put them on together.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Let's begin. Let's begin.
- 30:13Speaker 6: I am not doing the taste test.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Why not?
- 30:15Speaker 7: Because I don't want to put that. sugary stuff in
- 30:18Speaker 7: my system. I'm on a health food kick. What?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Oh, come on.
- 30:21Speaker 2: You need to take one for the team.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Don't be lame.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Let me tell you guys something.
- 30:24Speaker 10: Lame.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Hold on, hold on.
- 30:26Speaker 7: I got a full body MRI on my, you remember
- 30:28Speaker 7: I told you guys through Simon Med, I got a
- 30:30Speaker 7: full body MRI and I went over it yesterday with
- 30:32Speaker 7: the doctor and I have reversed issues in my health.
- 30:35Speaker 6: Like I am the healthiest I've ever been.
- 30:36Speaker 15: So you think three sips of Kool-Aid is going to
- 30:39Speaker 15: reverse all of that stuff?
- 30:40Speaker 7: Lame.
- 30:41Speaker 6: Three sips of Kool-Aid is a gateway drug.
- 30:44Speaker 12: That is true. Okay, I will support you in your
- 30:47Speaker 12: health journey.
- 30:48Speaker 6: I'm going to say lame.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Rich running the board with a blindfold on is probably
- 30:54Speaker 2: like every day. I don't want to get it on
- 30:55Speaker 2: my laptop.
- 30:57Speaker 12: I just need to know what side of me.
- 30:59Speaker 1: No, I can't see.
- 31:00Speaker 2: I want to make sure you can't see.
- 31:01Speaker 9: All right, so what's happening right now? You're putting cups
- 31:04Speaker 9: in front of us with the Kool-Aid in it?
- 31:06Speaker 6: I have a.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Cup in my hand.
- 31:08Speaker 6: Why don't you guys let me narrate?
- 31:09Speaker 2: Why didn't we already have the cups out? Listen, listen, listen.
- 31:11Speaker 6: Let me narrate because you guys have blindfolds on, okay?
- 31:13Speaker 2: Yes, I have a cup in my hand.
- 31:15Speaker 6: So, Rich, I'm going to narrate.
- 31:16Speaker 10: Full news.
- 31:18Speaker 12: Kool-Aid.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Taste test. Rich has a cup in his hand.
- 31:21Speaker 9: Oh, thank you, Dylan.
- 31:23Speaker 7: Kyle has a cup in her hand. And Peyton has
- 31:26Speaker 7: a cup in her hand. Okay, so now, Nick, all
- 31:27Speaker 7: three of these are the same flavor, correct?
- 31:29Speaker 2: Yes, they're all the same flavor and no smelling beforehand. Okay,
- 31:32Speaker 2: fair enough.
- 31:32Speaker 7: Okay, so now, when we tell them to take a sip,
- 31:35Speaker 7: then are they going to tell us the flavor they
- 31:36Speaker 7: think it is?
- 31:37Speaker 8: See.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Okay, you guys ready?
- 31:39Speaker 12: Dylan has very soft hands, by the way.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Okay, ready? Drink. Kyle's drinking. Go ahead, Rich. Everyone's drinking
- 31:44Speaker 2: but you. Okay. Okay, so Kyle, what flavor do you
- 31:48Speaker 2: think that is? Water.
- 31:53Speaker 6: Did we skip on the sugar?
- 31:54Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 31:54Speaker 12: Okay, hold on. It's cherry.
- 31:57Speaker 6: Okay, Peyton, what flavor do you think it is?
- 32:00Speaker 1: That is definitely like a margarita.
- 32:02Speaker 6: I don't think Kool-Aid makes margarita.
- 32:04Speaker 2: I didn't taste that.
- 32:05Speaker 6: Okay, Rich, what flavor do you think it is?
- 32:06Speaker 2: I think it's grape.
- 32:07Speaker 7: Okay. All right, so Dylan, you tell us the flavor.
- 32:10Speaker 7: What flavor was round one?
- 32:12Speaker 1: That was original.
- 32:13Speaker 12: That was original.
- 32:15Speaker 2: So just red.
- 32:16Speaker 9: We should have just guessed red.
- 32:17Speaker 6: That's not.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Fruit Punch.
- 32:19Speaker 7: All right, so Kyle's the closest. Kyle was the closest
- 32:22Speaker 7: to Cherry because I would lean towards Fruit Punch. Okay,
- 32:25Speaker 7: round two, you guys.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:26Speaker 6: Round two of the Kool-Aid Challenge.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Here, I'll take yours away.
- 32:30Speaker 12: We're all blindfolded as John Jay would narrate.
- 32:34Speaker 1: You guys, I would like.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Rich can't handle silence. It is a real show.
- 32:40Speaker 7: Well, we've got a music band playing. I'm watching them.
- 32:42Speaker 7: I was about to describe behind Rich. There are four
- 32:45Speaker 7: huge pitchers. We'll go round two. We're going to do
- 32:48Speaker 7: this for 91 flavors. This is flavor number two. Kyle,
- 32:54Speaker 7: go ahead.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Okay. Oh, I got it.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Oh, we're tasting it?
- 33:01Speaker 2: This tastes like medicine to me.
- 33:04Speaker 9: Kyle, what flavor do you need?
- 33:06Speaker 12: It's grape. It's got to be grape. It's 100% grape. What?
- 33:10Speaker 1: This is not grape. This is giving margarita.
- 33:14Speaker 2: That is also red.
- 33:14Speaker 10: Red, okay.
- 33:15Speaker 9: I'll say cherry this time because the other one was
- 33:19Speaker 9: fruit pie.
- 33:19Speaker 12: There's no margarita flavor of Kool-Aid.
- 33:21Speaker 9: It tastes very similar.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Okay, then I guess lime?
- 33:26Speaker 12: Okay.
- 33:26Speaker 6: What?
- 33:26Speaker 2: Okay, Rich, you said grape? 100% grape. 100% grape.
- 33:29Speaker 6: Okay, so Dylan, what flavor was that?
- 33:31Speaker 2: That was grape.
- 33:32Speaker 1: All right.
- 33:32Speaker 2: That was grape. One point.
- 33:34Speaker 10: What?
- 33:34Speaker 7: Okay, now we're going to go with round three. How
- 33:38Speaker 7: many rounds are we going to do?
- 33:39Speaker 2: How many do we have?
- 33:39Speaker 6: Just three.
- 33:40Speaker 7: Oh, four.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Four rounds. There's four huge pitchers back there.
- 33:42Speaker 8: Four.
- 33:43Speaker 7: So far, only Rich has got it right, so I
- 33:46Speaker 7: question Kyle Payne's taste buds.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Especially Payne's everything.
- 33:50Speaker 10: You know what?
- 33:51Speaker 9: You don't get to talk crap because you're not doing it.
- 33:52Speaker 6: I'm not talking crap. I'm just saying you thought both
- 33:54Speaker 6: were cherry.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Now, this does taste like cherry. I think this is cherry.
- 34:01Speaker 7: Okay, so now everyone can take a sip since Rich
- 34:03Speaker 7: already did.
- 34:03Speaker 12: It tastes like Robitussin to me. Robitussin, and that's cherry.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Wait, one more second.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Oh, it's disgusting.
- 34:11Speaker 9: I think Rich is right. That does taste cherry-ish.
- 34:14Speaker 6: So Kyle's got three cherries in a row.
- 34:16Speaker 9: Yep, they all taste the same to me.
- 34:17Speaker 6: That means you win a lot of money.
- 34:18Speaker 2: It all tastes like lime to me.
- 34:20Speaker 7: If you were playing the slot machines right now, you'd
- 34:21Speaker 7: win a lot of money. What's happened with Peyton's taste buds? Okay,
- 34:25Speaker 7: so you said, Rich, you said that's cherry?
- 34:26Speaker 2: 100%.
- 34:26Speaker 12: Dylan, what is that?
- 34:28Speaker 1: Black cherry.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Yeah!
- 34:31Speaker 1: Okay, we'll take the W.
- 34:31Speaker 5: Take the W on that.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Peyton, you should have gotten that.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Something is going on here. That's not right.
- 34:37Speaker 2: All right, now we're going to go round four.
- 34:38Speaker 9: All right, last and final taste test.
- 34:41Speaker 5: Ugh.
- 34:42Speaker 15: I feel like this Kool-Aid is spoiled.
- 34:45Speaker 12: Okay, where is it?
- 34:46Speaker 2: Okay, thank you. I wonder why every phone line is
- 34:47Speaker 2: ringing right now.
- 34:48Speaker 6: Let me see. Hold on.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Hold on a second.
- 34:51Speaker 6: Hello, John Jay and Rich, can you hit the button, Rich,
- 34:52Speaker 6: so I can turn on the Kool-Aid?
- 34:53Speaker 2: I don't know where it is. Hold on.
- 34:54Speaker 6: Which button is it to pick up the phone?
- 34:56Speaker 2: Am I close?
- 34:57Speaker 6: Hello, John Jay and Rich, are you there?
- 34:59Speaker 17: You guys are so mean to Peyton. Why are you
- 35:01Speaker 17: putting alcohol in hers?
- 35:02Speaker 2: Is there alcohol in yours? Is that what's happening? Is
- 35:08Speaker 2: that what she thought was a margarita? Hold on. That
- 35:11Speaker 2: is hilarious if that's what's happening right now.
- 35:13Speaker 6: All right, hold on.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 35:14Speaker 9: I think this last one's blue.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Okay, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
- 35:18Speaker 8: Blue.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Blue raspberry. Yeah, that's blue raspberry.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Are they giving you something else?
- 35:24Speaker 6: Let's find out. They have to be.
- 35:25Speaker 1: I'm telling you, they have to be because this is
- 35:28Speaker 1: not normal.
- 35:29Speaker 15: I am feeling very gaslit as a black woman in
- 35:32Speaker 15: the Kool-Aid game right now.
- 35:33Speaker 12: I do not appreciate it.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Hold on. Try that last taste.
- 35:36Speaker 6: Blue raspberry is what Rich says. Kyle, did you taste
- 35:37Speaker 6: it yet?
- 35:37Speaker 2: That's what I said.
- 35:39Speaker 6: Okay, what is it, Dylan? Peyton, did you taste it?
- 35:44Speaker 1: That's a margarita.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Peyton knows her margaritas.
- 35:48Speaker 6: Nick is holding up a can. I don't know what
- 35:50Speaker 6: that is. What is that?
- 35:52Speaker 9: Can we take our blindfold off?
- 35:53Speaker 1: That was the last one, right? Was it blue? Okay,
- 35:56Speaker 1: so it is a margarita.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Peyton, I am so sorry. It's very impressive.
- 36:02Speaker 10: Are you kidding me?
- 36:04Speaker 1: It is a sip-tailed strawberry margarita. I knew I wasn't going.
- 36:08Speaker 10: To make it. Nailed it.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I'm like, what?
- 36:11Speaker 10: Peyton wins.
- 36:11Speaker 11: I mean, she got every one.
- 36:13Speaker 6: Hello. Hi, John Jane Rich. You're on the air.
- 36:15Speaker 14: Hello.
- 36:15Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Hey, as a former chef, I wanted to tell you
- 36:19Speaker 2: that most of what we think we taste, we smell. Yes. Yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 9: That makes sense. My nose was covered.
- 36:25Speaker 2: That's a great point, man. Thank you. Was the last
- 36:28Speaker 2: one blue raspberry, by the way?
- 36:29Speaker 17: No, it was red.
- 36:29Speaker 2: The last one was cherry. Cherry, oh.
- 36:31Speaker 15: I would really like some real Kool-Aid.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I want to hear you guys.
- 36:36Speaker 1: To wash down this disgusting.
- 36:37Speaker 7: Do you have any more in front of you? Can
- 36:38Speaker 7: you sing with Kool-Aid in your mouth? Can you sing
- 36:40Speaker 7: with Kool-Aid in your mouth?
- 36:41Speaker 1: Can I sing?
- 36:42Speaker 2: Yeah, let's see.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Like what kind of song?
- 36:43Speaker 2: Like do a SZA song.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Whoa.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Or do No Air by Jordan Sparks.
- 36:47Speaker 9: No, don't do it.
- 36:48Speaker 1: I'm going to choke. I don't think we should do that.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Don't do it.
- 36:54Speaker 3: And that concludes Food News with Judd J.
- 36:59Speaker 10: And Rich.
- 37:00Speaker 12: Hey, muster on the beat, ho.
- 37:04Speaker 2: I was telling you that I read this article about
- 37:06Speaker 2: Kim Kardashian and the.
- 37:07Speaker 6: Talent she has.
- 37:08Speaker 9: Yes, she can tell if you have a cavity just
- 37:11Speaker 9: by smelling your breath.
- 37:12Speaker 6: That's such a gross talent.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I know, I know.
- 37:14Speaker 2: And I wonder how she does, if we ever get
- 37:16Speaker 2: to interview her, and then we quote, that's the only
- 37:18Speaker 2: thing we ask her.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Totally.
- 37:19Speaker 2: We gotta know we gotta ask you something we gotta
- 37:22Speaker 2: ask you something go ahead i don't want to talk
- 37:25Speaker 2: about kanye i don't want to talk about no.
- 37:27Speaker 9: No no no we don't want to talk about that
- 37:28Speaker 9: either no.
- 37:28Speaker 7: No we want to talk is it true that apparently
- 37:31Speaker 7: that's her talent and i have a list of celebrities
- 37:34Speaker 7: and their hidden talents right so maybe we can think
- 37:38Speaker 7: about our hidden talent like we know we've seen kyle
- 37:39Speaker 7: but you know before she can throw a set of
- 37:41Speaker 7: keys across the room with her team.
- 37:42Speaker 2: It's true Neil Patrick Harris.
- 37:45Speaker 6: Doogie Howser.
- 37:46Speaker 2: He was also in How Did I Met Your Mother?
- 37:47Speaker 10: You know that guy?
- 37:48Speaker 6: He apparently is a trained magician.
- 37:51Speaker 17: Oh, really?
- 37:52Speaker 1: I could see that.
- 37:53Speaker 9: He'd be really good at the presentation.
- 37:54Speaker 7: Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad. He apparently can tell a
- 37:59Speaker 7: dog's gender just by petting it. He's a good talent. Well,
- 38:03Speaker 7: on the underside, maybe. Do you know what Kendall Jenner does?
- 38:06Speaker 7: What her hidden talent is?
- 38:08Speaker 1: Cutting cucumbers wrong?
- 38:09Speaker 6: She can do bird noises.
- 38:11Speaker 7: Really?
- 38:12Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 38:13Speaker 6: Jessie J?
- 38:14Speaker 2: Jessie J.
- 38:15Speaker 12: It's all about the money, money.
- 38:17Speaker 6: She can sing with her mouth closed.
- 38:20Speaker 7: Wow.
- 38:20Speaker 6: I've tried that before. Like here, I'll try it.
- 38:26Speaker 2: You ain't no Jessie J.
- 38:27Speaker 9: More of a hum, right?
- 38:29Speaker 2: Katie Perry apparently can puff out her neck like a frog.
- 38:33Speaker 12: I've actually seen her do that on TV. It's kind
- 38:36Speaker 12: of wild.
- 38:36Speaker 2: It's wild, right?
- 38:37Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 38:37Speaker 6: You guys know what Hailey Bieber's hidden talent is?
- 38:40Speaker 8: What?
- 38:40Speaker 2: Uh-uh. She can open beer bottles with her teeth.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Oh, why would she do that?
- 38:45Speaker 2: Ouch.
- 38:45Speaker 9: I feel like you'd crack a tooth for sure, right?
- 38:47Speaker 1: I mean, Taylor Bieber, she has enough money to get
- 38:49Speaker 1: it fixed if she wanted to.
- 38:51Speaker 7: Keira Knightley, she can play music on her teeth by
- 38:54Speaker 7: tapping them with her fingers. Piers Brosnan, who was James Bond,
- 38:59Speaker 7: he's a fire eater. He was a trained street performer
- 39:01Speaker 7: before he made it big.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Oh, now that's cool.
- 39:03Speaker 6: Do you guys know what Justin Bieber's hidden talent is?
- 39:05Speaker 13: No.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Playing basketball.
- 39:07Speaker 3: No.
- 39:07Speaker 6: He can solve a Rubik's Cube in under two minutes.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Oh, that's impressive.
- 39:10Speaker 9: I feel like I've seen that online.
- 39:12Speaker 7: Angelina Jolie is a skilled knife thrower. And Mark Ruffalo,
- 39:17Speaker 7: who is the Hulk, he can ride a unicycle. Now,
- 39:22Speaker 7: that'd be cool to see the Hulk doing. There's something
- 39:24Speaker 7: about someone who rides a unicycle that no matter how
- 39:26Speaker 7: many times you see it, it's always amazing to me.
- 39:29Speaker 2: It always is. It's so true.
- 39:30Speaker 12: They're a unicycle rider. They can't be jerks. They just
- 39:33Speaker 12: can't be.
- 39:33Speaker 2: When I was in Hawaii last month, I saw a
- 39:36Speaker 2: guy riding an electric unicycle.
- 39:38Speaker 13: What?
- 39:38Speaker 10: Oh, really? I know.
- 39:39Speaker 7: It was so weird. Such a weird thing. Anyway, if
- 39:41Speaker 7: you've got a hidden talent, we want to know. Call
- 39:43Speaker 7: us at 877-937-1047 and you might have to demonstrate said
- 39:45Speaker 7: hidden talent. It's John Dean Ridge.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Are you following us on Insta at John Jay and Rich?
- 39:56Speaker 6: Hit us up and get caught up in the lore
- 39:58Speaker 6: of the doom scroll.
- 39:59Speaker 7: You know, today is an interesting day and I normally
- 40:02Speaker 7: wouldn't bring it up except there's a big debate going on.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Do you know what today is?
- 40:05Speaker 1: What's today? Do you know what today is?
- 40:08Speaker 2: Hey, this drink is delicious.
- 40:09Speaker 13: Anybody up for iced tea?
- 40:10Speaker 2: I'm going to make some tea.
- 40:12Speaker 11: Today is National Iced Tea Day.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Will you make me some iced tea?
- 40:15Speaker 1: Sweetened or unsweetened.
- 40:17Speaker 12: Lemon or no lemon.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Iced tea.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Iced tea would be great. Well, it's a sweet or
- 40:21Speaker 2: maybe even an unsweetened celebration. Iced tea.
- 40:24Speaker 8: Iced tea.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Drinking iced tea.
- 40:26Speaker 10: Y'all ready?
- 40:26Speaker 2: It's tea time.
- 40:27Speaker 7: Anyway, it's National Iced Tea Day today. And I bring
- 40:30Speaker 7: this up because the debate is how you say it. Yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 7: I've heard it two different ways on this clip. There's
- 40:34Speaker 7: actually a right way to say it. See, I don't
- 40:36Speaker 7: know what it is. Well, what do you think it is?
- 40:38Speaker 12: Well, it sounds like iced as in the past tense
- 40:41Speaker 12: of ice.
- 40:42Speaker 7: Is the proper way. Yeah, I guess Americans are lazy.
- 40:45Speaker 7: It's iced with a D, T. Iced tea. But people
- 40:51Speaker 7: say iced tea.
- 40:51Speaker 2: I say iced tea.
- 40:53Speaker 12: Yeah, I think iced tea sounds fine.
- 40:55Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 40:57Speaker 6: That's answered and solved.
- 40:58Speaker 2: If you go to Webster's Dictionary, it accepts both.
- 41:01Speaker 7: Little side note. Oh, we were talking about hidden talents before.
- 41:03Speaker 7: Mary Kay, what's your hidden talent?
- 41:05Speaker 1: Hi.
- 41:05Speaker 4: Good morning, guys.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 41:09Speaker 4: My talent is that I can do a man voice.
- 41:13Speaker 10: Oh, really?
- 41:14Speaker 4: Yeah. I can throw my voice deep enough to sound
- 41:18Speaker 4: like a man.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Let's hear it.
- 41:21Speaker 7: Okay.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Good morning, John Jay and Rich.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Totally.
- 41:25Speaker 9: I did not see that coming, Mary Kay.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Wow. Holy smoke. That sounds like Kyle after 4. No way.
- 41:33Speaker 2: 4 p.m.
- 41:34Speaker 10: Every day. Wow.
- 41:35Speaker 12: And you did not hand the phone to somebody next
- 41:37Speaker 12: to you right there? That is all you.
- 41:38Speaker 4: It is all me.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:41Speaker 4: I don't even know where this comes from.
- 41:45Speaker 6: Can you talk like that for a while or just
- 41:47Speaker 6: say certain phrases?
- 41:48Speaker 12: Oh, yeah.
- 41:49Speaker 4: No, I can have a full-on conversation.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Okay, Mary, we're going to talk to Marty.
- 41:56Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 41:56Speaker 4: We'll call him Marty.
- 41:58Speaker 6: Go ahead.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Let's hear you. I absolutely love your show.
- 42:03Speaker 7: I listen to it every day.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Wow, that's wild.
- 42:07Speaker 1: That is a transition.
- 42:08Speaker 12: That'd be great. I don't know what you could use
- 42:12Speaker 12: that for, like to your advantage, like customer service or anything,
- 42:15Speaker 12: but you really should. I'm going to have you talk
- 42:17Speaker 12: to my husband.
- 42:19Speaker 4: I've pranked everybody I know, and everyone falls for it.
- 42:23Speaker 6: Okay, I'm going to try something, Mary Kay.
- 42:26Speaker 7: I want you to have a conversation as Mary Kay
- 42:29Speaker 7: with Marty back and forth, and we're just going to listen.
- 42:32Speaker 4: Okay.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 42:35Speaker 4: Good morning, Marty. Good morning, Mary Kay. How are you today?
- 42:38Speaker 4: I'm wonderful.
- 42:39Speaker 8: How are you?
- 42:40Speaker 4: I'm great. I'm ready for the weekend.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Yeah, me too.
- 42:46Speaker 12: You have to be our best friend forever now.
- 42:50Speaker 2: I knew this in my life so bad.
- 42:52Speaker 12: And I don't know why.
- 42:54Speaker 4: Anytime you guys need anybody to prank somebody, please give
- 42:58Speaker 4: me a call.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I love it.
- 43:01Speaker 12: Yeah, I mean, there's got to be a reason to
- 43:03Speaker 12: use that. I don't really see why.
- 43:07Speaker 7: The only reason would be, like, on a video. Because
- 43:10Speaker 7: if we need to prank somebody, we have a guy
- 43:12Speaker 7: here and we have a girl here.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 43:15Speaker 7: On a video, like if you did that whole little thing,
- 43:17Speaker 7: like you do a duet as the guy and as
- 43:20Speaker 7: the girl, you're singing a song, you know, you can
- 43:22Speaker 7: do it that way.
- 43:22Speaker 2: We need to get you in here and we'll work
- 43:24Speaker 2: it out. I would love that. Thanks for calling in
- 43:27Speaker 2: and thank you for listening.
- 43:28Speaker 6: And that's a beautiful talent. And thank you, Marty. You're welcome.
- 43:41Speaker 2: All right, Nick.
- 43:42Speaker 6: Nick's the host of this game. Katrina, good morning.
- 43:44Speaker 17: Good morning.
- 43:46Speaker 6: Katrina, you're playing for some Teddy Swims tickets.
- 43:48Speaker 2: You guys were playing Noise Machine today. I like the theme,
- 43:51Speaker 2: my games. We've got Teddy Swims tickets. So the theme
- 43:55Speaker 2: is things that swim.
- 43:57Speaker 1: I love it.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Things that swim, things in water, okay? We're going to
- 44:02Speaker 2: start things off with John Jay.
- 44:03Speaker 10: Oh, my.
- 44:08Speaker 14: God.
- 44:12Speaker 7: I want to say that sounds to me like Teddy Swims. No,
- 44:15Speaker 7: that must be a dolphin or a whale or a
- 44:18Speaker 7: seal or a walrus.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Walrus. You're going to go with walrus?
- 44:22Speaker 3: Walrus.
- 44:22Speaker 8: Okay.
- 44:23Speaker 2: I'm sorry, John Jay. That's incorrect. Very close. It is
- 44:27Speaker 2: something that likes to swim. It's a sea turtle.
- 44:29Speaker 6: Don't be an idiot.
- 44:30Speaker 9: Who knew that's the sound they make?
- 44:31Speaker 1: That's a very distinct noise.
- 44:34Speaker 2: You know it now. Okay. Moving on. Rich Berra.
- 44:42Speaker 12: Well, I mean, that sounds like a dinosaur. And you
- 44:45Speaker 12: would put a dinosaur on there.
- 44:46Speaker 10: Okay.
- 44:47Speaker 12: But maybe that is one of those pygmy hippos. Cute
- 44:50Speaker 12: little pygmy hippo.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Pygmy hippo.
- 44:52Speaker 8: Okay.
- 44:52Speaker 2: That's also a good guess. It's wrong. Of course, guys,
- 44:56Speaker 2: it's an alligator.
- 44:57Speaker 6: Don't be an idiot.
- 44:59Speaker 1: I would have guessed hippo too, Rich.
- 45:00Speaker 6: I'd be so scared if I heard that noise.
- 45:04Speaker 12: Don't go around that lake.
- 45:05Speaker 2: The alligator at the Phoenix Zoo, the first time I
- 45:07Speaker 2: took my daughter there and she was like two and
- 45:10Speaker 2: it came out of the water.
- 45:11Speaker 10: Wow.
- 45:12Speaker 2: And made that noise. And she will not. She's now six.
- 45:15Speaker 7: How lucky you got to see that because my entire
- 45:18Speaker 7: life going to the zoo, the alligator is always just chilling.
- 45:21Speaker 2: It is terrifying. Yeah. Like the deck shook. Yeah, it
- 45:26Speaker 2: was crazy. Anyway, we'll move on now. Nobody on the
- 45:29Speaker 2: board just yet. Peyton.
- 45:37Speaker 1: That is 100% an otter. An otter?
- 45:41Speaker 2: Yes. Oh, you should guess something otter than that.
- 45:46Speaker 1: A sea otter.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Katrina, can I buzz in?
- 45:49Speaker 2: Go ahead, Katrina.
- 45:51Speaker 10: Sea lion?
- 45:52Speaker 2: Sea lion. That's another good guess. It is wrong as well.
- 45:55Speaker 2: It's a polar bear cub.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Polar bear cub.
- 45:58Speaker 15: See, and me and Kyle, we just heard the sea
- 46:00Speaker 15: lion orchestra at the Wildlife World do, so I.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Knew it wasn't a sea lion.
- 46:04Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 46:04Speaker 1: They're loud.
- 46:05Speaker 10: Yes.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Polar bears eat sea lions.
- 46:08Speaker 10: Oh.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 46:10Speaker 10: Moving on. Kyle.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Dude, you got the best barrels ever, dude.
- 46:15Speaker 7: Just like you pull in and you just get spit
- 46:18Speaker 7: right out of them.
- 46:19Speaker 2: You just drop in and just smack the lip.
- 46:23Speaker 10: Drop down.
- 46:25Speaker 9: I don't know who that is, but people swim.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Yeah, people. It's a person. You know what? People do swim.
- 46:31Speaker 2: People swim. I was looking for something a little more specific.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Can we steal?
- 46:34Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 46:35Speaker 17: Katrina, can I try?
- 46:36Speaker 2: Katrina, go.
- 46:36Speaker 6: Surfer?
- 46:38Speaker 2: Surfer is correct.
- 46:39Speaker 11: All right.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Surfing USA.
- 46:42Speaker 2: All people are surfers, but not all surfers are people.
- 46:45Speaker 9: It's the other way around.
- 46:48Speaker 2: All right, Katrina, it's your turn. I am the protector
- 46:57Speaker 2: of the deep.
- 46:58Speaker 17: I am Aquaman.
- 47:01Speaker 14: Is that Aquaman?
- 47:02Speaker 2: Aquaman is correct. Katrina on the board. She's got two points.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Heading out of round one, a commanding lead as we
- 47:07Speaker 2: go into round two, John Jay. well since you've been
- 47:18Speaker 2: playing clips of interesting animals i almost want to guess
- 47:21Speaker 2: that it's the duck-billed platypus i'm gonna go with a
- 47:26Speaker 2: penguin penguin you know what that's a good guess this
- 47:29Speaker 2: this animal eats penguins uh we're looking at go ahead
- 47:32Speaker 2: katrina is it a seagull It's not a seagull, I'm sorry.
- 47:38Speaker 2: We are looking for dolphin. Dolphins eat penguins?
- 47:40Speaker 15: Dolphins are actually really mean creatures.
- 47:44Speaker 12: They are savage.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I saw this video. They are delicious.
- 47:47Speaker 7: These people were watching the killer whales. There was a
- 47:49Speaker 7: whole bunch of killer whales and they were on a
- 47:51Speaker 7: boat and all these killer whales are swimming.
- 47:52Speaker 2: It was beautiful.
- 47:53Speaker 7: Like 10 of them was beautiful. And then they pop
- 47:55Speaker 7: up and they just rip apart a dolphin.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 48:00Speaker 1: The water gets all red.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Oh, geez. Oh, it's a delicacy in some countries. As
- 48:07Speaker 2: we move on. Rich. Got it.
- 48:20Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 48:21Speaker 2: It's a Kraken. It's a Kraken?
- 48:22Speaker 7: I think it's Waddle Waddle from Phantom Menace.
- 48:27Speaker 12: Is it a Kraken or something from Star Wars?
- 48:30Speaker 2: Neither of those, you guys. We are looking for a
- 48:32Speaker 2: sea lion if you want to be politically correct. It's
- 48:35Speaker 2: a California sea lion.
- 48:36Speaker 10: Don't be an idiot. All right.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Sorry. Only Katrina on the board thus far in this.
- 48:41Speaker 6: Game, you guys.
- 48:42Speaker 2: We move on now to Peyton.
- 48:49Speaker 12: That's scary as hell.
- 48:49Speaker 1: That is a walrus. That animal.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Say it again, please.
- 48:54Speaker 1: I have a really hard time saying it. I don't
- 48:56Speaker 1: want to.
- 48:57Speaker 12: A walrus.
- 48:58Speaker 2: That was good. A walrus.
- 49:02Speaker 1: That's my answer.
- 49:03Speaker 2: I'm tempted to give it to you just so I
- 49:05Speaker 2: can hear walrus again.
- 49:07Speaker 17: Sorry.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Of course, that was the Loch Ness Monster.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Nessie.
- 49:11Speaker 10: What?
- 49:13Speaker 1: Okay. That's fine.
- 49:14Speaker 2: I'll take the L. Didn't get that one. Goose egg
- 49:17Speaker 2: for Peyton in this game. Kyle.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Up where they walk, up where they run, up.
- 49:24Speaker 10: Where they stay all day in the sun.
- 49:28Speaker 9: Wandering free, wish I could be part of that world.
- 49:35Speaker 1: That's Ariel.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and what is Ariel?
- 49:38Speaker 1: She's a mermaid.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right.
- 49:41Speaker 12: Good job, Kyle.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Katrina, you've already won the game, but if you can
- 49:46Speaker 2: get this one, you get bonus points and you can
- 49:48Speaker 2: ridicule everybody else in the studio. All right, let's do it.
- 49:57Speaker 17: That would be Teddy Swims.
- 49:59Speaker 11: Theodore does, in fact, swim.
- 50:05Speaker 10: Yay! Yay!
- 50:06Speaker 2: Congratulations.
- 50:07Speaker 7: You get to go see Teddy Swims, November 16th.
- 50:09Speaker 13: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Woke up with his new thing. John Jay and Rich
- 50:15Speaker 2: are live on the Free iHeartRadio app.
- 50:17Speaker 7: You guys know how in movies now. The trailers are
- 50:20Speaker 7: using lots of songs from the 90s. Songs from the
- 50:23Speaker 7: 90s are making a big comeback, right? And I feel
- 50:26Speaker 7: that's just kind of what happens in music. Big songs
- 50:28Speaker 7: come back.
- 50:29Speaker 2: So guess what?
- 50:32Speaker 7: These are the top 10 best songs.
- 50:36Speaker 6: From the 90s that still hold up today.
- 50:39Speaker 12: Oh, good.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 50:40Speaker 6: Do not guess.
- 50:41Speaker 12: Do not guess.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Do not guess.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Because if you do, you're going to mess up the order, right?
- 50:44Speaker 6: Because I have the top ten. But go ahead. Throw
- 50:46Speaker 6: a guess. What if you pick number one?
- 50:48Speaker 2: You're going to ruin the whole thing. I would say
- 50:50Speaker 2: No Scrubs, TLC.
- 50:52Speaker 10: Not in the top ten.
- 51:02Speaker 9: It's a good song, though.
- 51:04Speaker 2: But does it hold up today?
- 51:05Speaker 12: I think so.
- 51:05Speaker 6: Do people use the word scrubs today in that context? No,
- 51:08Speaker 6: they do not.
- 51:09Speaker 9: Is it like the lyrics holding up? Or if you
- 51:12Speaker 9: listen to the song, it's a good song still?
- 51:14Speaker 12: Yeah, I mean, you can still pump that jam. Oh, yeah.
- 51:15Speaker 1: I've called a couple people scrubs.
- 51:16Speaker 6: It just says, this is a list of songs that
- 51:19Speaker 6: hold up today.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Okay, so tell us.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I want to know.
- 51:22Speaker 7: I want to know.
- 51:22Speaker 6: Number 10, All the Small Things, Blink-182.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 51:32Speaker 9: That's literally in the Travis Barker Louder Than Fear documentary. And, like,
- 51:36Speaker 9: you hear it when that part comes on in the documentary.
- 51:38Speaker 9: You just hear it, and you're like, oh, yeah, totally.
- 51:40Speaker 9: It could be released today and still be popular. Oh,
- 51:41Speaker 9: my gosh.
- 51:53Speaker 6: Number nine, Friends in Low Places, Garth Brooks.
- 51:58Speaker 12: Yeah, that's a country bar favorite.
- 52:01Speaker 10: It's a great song.
- 52:16Speaker 6: Santeria by Sublime.
- 52:18Speaker 12: Sublime, I feel like that whole album... Still gets played
- 52:22Speaker 12: on the radio as if it's new. People love it.
- 52:24Speaker 1: That's one where it's like, I don't like no crystal ball.
- 52:26Speaker 10: I don't practice Santeria.
- 52:29Speaker 8: I ain't got no crystal ball.
- 52:32Speaker 6: Gin and juice, sweet dog.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:35Speaker 1: That's good.
- 52:36Speaker 15: Oh, that's going to be so epic, too, at the
- 52:38Speaker 15: IR Radio Music Festival.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Him performing gin and juice.
- 52:40Speaker 12: You know that's.
- 52:41Speaker 10: Going to be great.
- 52:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:44Speaker 10: Lay back. With my mind on my money and my
- 52:46Speaker 10: money on my money.
- 52:54Speaker 7: This next one is a great song, but it's so random.
- 52:59Speaker 7: I wonder why it still holds up today, but it's
- 53:01Speaker 7: Alan Jackson and Chattahoochee.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Guns N' Roses, November Rain.
- 53:06Speaker 10: Come on.
- 53:06Speaker 12: Guns N' Roses is classic.
- 53:20Speaker 2: It's hard to hold a candle In the cold, don't
- 53:23Speaker 2: feel my rage.
- 53:26Speaker 7: This next song, number four from the 90s, that still
- 53:29Speaker 7: holds up today, I don't know it. Rage Against the Machine,
- 53:33Speaker 7: Killing in the Name.
- 53:34Speaker 10: Killing in the name of.
- 53:37Speaker 12: The deep black, that makes me angry.
- 53:39Speaker 6: Number three, Radiohead, Creep.
- 53:42Speaker 12: Awesome song.
- 53:43Speaker 17: But I'm a creep.
- 53:52Speaker 7: Number two song that still holds up today. I would
- 53:55Speaker 7: put this at number one.
- 54:01Speaker 12: Backstreet Boys, I want it that way.
- 54:02Speaker 3: No, no. It smells like some spirit of ours.
- 54:07Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Number one song from the 90s that still holds up today.
- 54:32Speaker 2: Any guesses?
- 54:35Speaker 12: From the 90s, it still holds up today.
- 54:37Speaker 9: Now he wants us to guess.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Isn't it ironic?
- 54:39Speaker 14: Nope.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Is it a male or female?
- 54:49Speaker 6: It's sung by a.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Female, written by a.
- 55:01Speaker 10: Male.
- 55:04Speaker 7: The writer of the song is, I believe, one of Rich's,
- 55:08Speaker 7: if not Rich's, favorite musician of all time.
- 55:10Speaker 12: Prince.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Yes.
- 55:11Speaker 12: Oh, is it Nothing Compares To You?
- 55:13Speaker 6: Nothing Compares To You by Sinead O'Connor.
- 55:14Speaker 12: Wow, that's an odd choice for number one.
- 55:16Speaker 7: Number one song from the 90s that still holds up
- 55:20Speaker 7: to today.
- 55:20Speaker 10: Guess what he told me?
- 55:23Speaker 1: Guess what he told me?
- 55:23Speaker 10: He said, girl, you better try to have fun no
- 55:30Speaker 10: matter what you do. But he's a fool because no.
- 55:41Speaker 12: It's a pretty great version. I think Prince was jealous
- 55:44Speaker 12: that her version did so well. His did not.
- 55:46Speaker 9: Don't be jelly, Prince.
- 55:47Speaker 12: Don't be jelly.
- 55:54Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 55:55Speaker 10: Call us at 877-937-1047.
- 55:56Speaker 5: Text us.
- 55:56Speaker 9: Text JJR.
- 55:57Speaker 7: Whatever you want to say to 96893. What's going on
- 56:05Speaker 7: in your world? Why are you up so early? We
- 56:07Speaker 7: want to know why you're up so early. Maybe you're
- 56:08Speaker 7: not normally up at this time. Call us at 877-937-1047.
- 56:11Speaker 7: The John Jane Rich YouTube channel is open and we
- 56:16Speaker 7: drop stuff all the time. You can see our whole
- 56:19Speaker 7: show from yesterday is up there. Today's show will be
- 56:21Speaker 7: up there. Just go to YouTube, search John Jane Rich.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Peyton brought up something kind of silly but not kind
- 56:26Speaker 2: of silly because I find it interesting.
- 56:29Speaker 6: And I'll tell you why in a second.
- 56:30Speaker 10: Okay.
- 56:31Speaker 15: I think it's like totally random, but I was just
- 56:33Speaker 15: like thinking, I was like, why is it that when
- 56:34Speaker 15: you brush your teeth in the shower, it feels different?
- 56:37Speaker 15: Like it suds up differently than when you're not in
- 56:40Speaker 15: the shower and you brush your teeth like.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Over the sink. Is that what I'm talking about? That
- 56:45Speaker 1: is actually... It's so valid.
- 56:47Speaker 2: Yeah, because it does.
- 56:48Speaker 9: And I don't know, maybe there's some weird chemical reaction
- 56:50Speaker 9: with the steam.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Right, like maybe it's humans and you're getting.
- 56:53Speaker 2: A little bit more.
- 56:54Speaker 12: Is it, yeah, because the water's warmer?
- 56:56Speaker 2: Could that be it? Yeah.
- 56:58Speaker 15: I don't know, but all I know, and I'm not
- 56:59Speaker 15: a morning shower person, and so I don't brush my
- 57:03Speaker 15: teeth in the shower when I wake up in the morning.
- 57:05Speaker 1: I feel like I'm going to have to be a
- 57:06Speaker 1: morning shower person.
- 57:06Speaker 6: Well, did something just happen?
- 57:07Speaker 2: Did you just brush your teeth in the shower or
- 57:08Speaker 2: you just had an observation?
- 57:10Speaker 15: Well, like over the weekend, we had basketball games, so
- 57:12Speaker 15: I would shower in the morning.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 57:14Speaker 15: And I would brush my teeth in the shower because
- 57:15Speaker 15: I'm trying to kill some time.
- 57:17Speaker 1: And I was like, wait a minute.
- 57:18Speaker 15: This is a really enjoyable experience right now.
- 57:21Speaker 6: So when you brush your, I've never brushed my teeth
- 57:23Speaker 6: in the shower.
- 57:23Speaker 10: Never?
- 57:24Speaker 2: Never.
- 57:24Speaker 1: You've got to do it at least one time.
- 57:26Speaker 7: Well, so here's why I'm just thinking of the stress
- 57:29Speaker 7: right now.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Then when you're done, you've got to hold your toothbrush.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Just put it by your shampoo. But then when you
- 57:34Speaker 2: get out of the shower, take it out?
- 57:35Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 57:35Speaker 12: I would forget.
- 57:36Speaker 2: I would forget.
- 57:37Speaker 1: When you remember in the morning, you go get your toothbrush.
- 57:40Speaker 6: I can't.
- 57:41Speaker 2: But I shower out in the backyard every day. But like,
- 57:44Speaker 2: I can't.
- 57:45Speaker 6: I've never showered or never brushed my teeth in the shower.
- 57:47Speaker 6: But my son, check this out. This is weird.
- 57:49Speaker 7: My son, Kemp, he showers or I'm sorry, he brushes
- 57:53Speaker 7: his teeth in our kitchen sink.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Isn't that weird? I've done that before.
- 57:58Speaker 14: What?
- 57:58Speaker 2: Like if I.
- 58:00Speaker 9: I'm like running out of time and I have to
- 58:01Speaker 9: go like start making the dogs food.
- 58:03Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay.
- 58:04Speaker 9: Or if like, I got to tell the kids something,
- 58:05Speaker 9: I'll be brushing my teeth as I'm walking out there.
- 58:07Speaker 2: But all the time.
- 58:09Speaker 6: Every day.
- 58:09Speaker 7: And here's why I asked him that too. I was like, what, why?
- 58:11Speaker 7: And he goes, because for years. He would wake up
- 58:14Speaker 7: before anybody else and he would go train for basketball.
- 58:17Speaker 7: So he would walk downstairs or he would walk to
- 58:19Speaker 7: the living room, turn off the alarm. He'd have the
- 58:22Speaker 7: toothbrush in his mouth, turn off the alarm, and then
- 58:24Speaker 7: he'd brush his teeth right there.
- 58:26Speaker 2: So he did it.
- 58:26Speaker 7: So long that now he wakes up and he walks
- 58:30Speaker 7: into the kitchen and brushes his teeth.
- 58:32Speaker 10: Fascinating.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Nobody knew he brushed his teeth in a kitchen sink.
- 58:35Speaker 2: I don't know if that's good or not.
- 58:37Speaker 1: I immediately said, ew.
- 58:38Speaker 15: But then again, I'm like, there's so much stuff that
- 58:40Speaker 15: goes in your sink anyway. And also, I'm one of the, like,
- 58:42Speaker 15: do you guys ever brush your teeth and then, like,
- 58:44Speaker 15: don't stand in the bathroom?
- 58:45Speaker 1: You just, like, walk around?
- 58:45Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 58:46Speaker 12: Yeah, because I'm so impatient that I can't stand it.
- 58:49Speaker 12: I just can't stand it in one place.
- 58:51Speaker 9: If I have to, I will.
- 58:52Speaker 2: I don't like to do that.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Oh, I just am always wondering.
- 58:54Speaker 12: I walk around and shave. Well, because it's an electric razor,
- 58:58Speaker 12: so you can kind of feel where you're going. You
- 59:01Speaker 12: don't need to see it until you come back around
- 59:03Speaker 12: to the final sweep.
- 59:04Speaker 1: So you just have like little hair flecks all around
- 59:06Speaker 1: your house?
- 59:06Speaker 12: No, the razor sucks it up when it's an electric razor.
- 59:10Speaker 7: Over the weekend, you know, I was in Flagstaff and
- 59:12Speaker 7: we stayed at this place that had access to this
- 59:15Speaker 7: because my son wanted to golf. And when you golf,
- 59:18Speaker 7: you know, they have like the men's room. It's like
- 59:20Speaker 7: a clubhouse for men and they always overdo it. Like
- 59:22Speaker 7: there's a men's restaurant in there and stuff like that, right? Right.
- 59:26Speaker 7: And so I went in to go to the bathroom
- 59:28Speaker 7: and It's so funny how it's like there's free toothbrushes
- 59:31Speaker 7: in there.
- 59:33Speaker 2: And I was like, what's this? And I forgot my toothbrush.
- 59:37Speaker 2: So it's a toothbrush that comes in a little bag.
- 59:39Speaker 2: You rip it open and you get it wet and
- 59:40Speaker 2: there's already toothpaste on the toothbrush.
- 59:42Speaker 7: Amazing.
- 59:42Speaker 2: How amazing is that? Huh?
- 59:44Speaker 9: How genius is that?
- 59:44Speaker 2: It's so genius.
- 59:45Speaker 6: I'm like, why do you even have a toothbrush?
- 59:46Speaker 2: Why not have these?
- 59:47Speaker 7: So I took a couple home and I can't wait
- 59:49Speaker 7: for the next time I travel where I forget my
- 59:51Speaker 7: toothbrush on purpose.
- 59:52Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 59:53Speaker 6: And then they have eye drops.
- 59:54Speaker 12: Can you buy those with the toothpaste?
- 59:55Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 59:55Speaker 2: I thought about that. That's pretty cool.
- 59:56Speaker 6: Then they got eye drops too.
- 59:57Speaker 7: And I just think that's so cool that there's a
- 59:59Speaker 7: place that has free eye drops and free toothbrushes.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: I was like, that is next level. It makes me
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: want to join that club.
- 1:00:07Speaker 12: Yeah, no kidding. Because you would go on a vacation
- 1:00:10Speaker 12: just because you know you get the free supplies at
- 1:00:12Speaker 12: the clubhouse.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: You would look forward to that. I forget my toothbrush
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: all the time.
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: And then when I go on vacation, I like to
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: leave my toothbrush.
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: I like to throw it away. I feel like I
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: don't want travel germs.
- 1:00:23Speaker 12: I feel like I can't have the same toothbrush. First
- 1:00:28Speaker 12: of all, because at home I have the Sonicare that
- 1:00:30Speaker 12: I use.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:00:31Speaker 12: So the trap, once it's sitting out in the bathroom
- 1:00:34Speaker 12: area in a cup or whatever, it's no good anymore.
- 1:00:37Speaker 12: I just toss it.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I do. I'm with you.
- 1:00:40Speaker 12: This place you went is the same place with the
- 1:00:42Speaker 12: amazing showers.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: What's so amazing about the shower? It's called Pine Canyon.
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: It's in Flagstaff.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: The shower is just a good, powerful showers. And there's
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: a lot of space in the shower. Like there's a
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: lot of room.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: For activities.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: I don't know. And then they have a space where
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: you step out of the shower. You have this room dry.
- 1:00:59Speaker 12: It's a bathroom.
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: No, but it's in the bathroom. Then you walk out
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: and then there's a big bathroom. And then there's a
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: steam room. And there's a hot tub. And there's free
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: eye drops. Free eye drops. Free Alka-Seltzer.
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: Free alcohol free aspirin free.
- 1:01:13Speaker 9: Advil i think they've got q-tips as well.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: They got q-tips there and then they have here's the
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: part that when you're going to brush.
- 1:01:19Speaker 12: Your teeth spreading if giles heard about the few.
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: When you brush your teeth they have all these hair
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: products and underarm deodorant and i don't know which which
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: to use i use them all and then they have.
- 1:01:28Speaker 9: Uh they have a hairspray in your armpits no.
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: I put a hairspray on my head okay different there's
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: There's all these different hair things like there's a gel
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: and there's a cream.
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: There's something else. And there's brushes there. They're like you
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: have to open up the brush.
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: And so I was brushing my hair that I comb
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: my hair. And then I put they have all these
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: different colognes. I try to put on different colognes like
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: a little mix because I never wear cologne. But I
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: thought there must be reason this cologne is here. This
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: must be real special cologne.
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: Like, I want to use it all.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: It was great.
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: And then I casually put extra eye drops in my
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: pocket and thought I was going to get in trouble.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Hey, sir.
- 1:02:01Speaker 12: What's in your pocket?
- 1:02:03Speaker 10: Oh, my God, sir. I thought you were free.
- 1:02:05Speaker 12: Those eye drops are complimentary, but only for people in
- 1:02:09Speaker 12: the shower.
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: Shout out to Pine Canyon. Sounds wonderful. Yeah, it's beautiful.
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: Beautiful place.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Beautiful.
- 1:02:15Speaker 10: Good morning. Wake up every morning.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: Start your day with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: Grew up in Mexico. I have lots and lots of
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: Mexican cousins. Lots. This morning, I woke up from a
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: text from my one Mexican cousin that lives in LA
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: next to my sister. And she sent a picture of another,
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: of a woman with my niece and nephew. And the woman,
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: it's like my niece and nephew standing next to this woman.
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: And the woman looks like a beat up version of
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: my sister, but I'm pretty sure it's not my sister.
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: And I was like, is this my sister? I haven't
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: seen my sister. While my sister moved to North Carolina,
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: she's Runs Mr. Beast's company. I don't know if I've
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: talked about that on there or not, but so, and
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: I thought the Mr. Beast job is really doing a
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: toll on my sister. And I was like, this is
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: like this woman.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Like a beat up for you.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: So I said this to my sister and I go,
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: just in case I go, Hey, who is this? She's like,
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: that's your cousin. And she tells me which cousin it is.
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: My cousin's name is America, right? Which I know, I
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: know my cousin America. I haven't seen her in a
- 1:03:14Speaker 7: long time. I don't go to a lot of the
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: family reunions.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Yeah. You're proud of that. I'm not proud of it.
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: I just don't, I'm not, I'm not, that's not true.
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: I'm not proud of it.
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: It was here I would go. I don't want to
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: go anywhere to go to the family reunion. But my
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: sister was always at the family reunions, always part of everything.
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: And so I said to my sister, I go, that
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: looks like a beat up version of you. And she's like,
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: she takes me back.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: I'm sure. Like, like it was an insult.
- 1:03:38Speaker 12: Or maybe she's agreeing with you.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: You can't read Tony text.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: I'm sure.
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: This is so funny because it's like, you guys know
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: what my sister looks like?
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: Does this look like a beat up version of my sister?
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: Oh, I could see.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:54Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Just like tired.
- 1:03:55Speaker 12: Definitely she looks like family for sure.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: That's wild though.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Genetics are crazy.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: It looks like someone put a beat up filter on
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: my sister.
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: I mean, that's not very nice.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: I don't want to say that.
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: I'm not going to post it because I don't want
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: to go back to her because she's really nice.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: But anyway, please don't send this to her. I don't
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: want to start a whole family problem, which may be
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: a good thing.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Then I don't get invited to the family reunion. Oh,
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I want to go over
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: something I saw on Reddit, okay?
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: Which is, if there was ever anything in the world
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: of social media and the internet, it's this that's targeted
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: towards our radio show. Someone on Reddit said, what sayings
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: did you say incorrectly for decades without anyone noticing? Like
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: for here on this show, we've said, you know, Lord
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: and behold.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Love it. Right.
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: I've been saying documentary, uh, irregardless, but irregardless has been
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: a big debate because that's, some people say it is
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: a word. It's not a word, but these are, I've
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: never heard of it before. Instead of saying might as well,
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: a lot of people thought it was minus.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Well, I've never heard anybody say minus. Well, I love that. Minus.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: Well, Hey, you want to go to the grocery store?
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: We're almost out of food.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Minus.
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: Well, This person said, my brother thought that people that
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: lived beside us were our next store neighbors.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Next door neighbors.
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: This person said, I was in my 30s when I
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: realized cease and assist was.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: Really cease and desist.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Oh, I don't think I knew that.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: You thought it was cease and desist?
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I think so.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: Don't you have like a law degree?
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I just don't really say that.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: I would think being a, what's your degree in criminology
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: that that would come up somewhere in school.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I'm sure it did. It was a long time ago.
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: Up and Adam, instead of up.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: And at them, they're like, who's that? Who's that? Who's at?
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: Well, no, it's up and Adam.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: At them.
- 1:05:55Speaker 9: But I always thought it was Adam, like the dude.
- 1:05:57Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: No, it's like, who's Adam? Uh, some people, instead of
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: saying bonfire, always thought it was bomb fire. Oh, bomb fire. Well,
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: that's severe.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: Play it by year. Instead of played by ear.
- 1:06:11Speaker 15: That's definitely one that people get mixed up.
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: We need to play it by year. One guy thought
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: wheelbarrow was wheel barrels for most of his life. Another
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: man said holier than hell instead of holier than thou.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: That kind of works. Both those work.
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: Kyle has like slipped things up on the air saying
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: phrases a lot.
- 1:06:31Speaker 12: She does, but she does it with confidence. So a
- 1:06:33Speaker 12: lot of people don't catch it.
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: The whole key is to say with confidence, like let's
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: not burn that bridge until we cross it. What's the
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: real phrase? Wait a minute.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Burn the bridge? Wait, what is the real phrase? Those
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: are two different phrases. Okay. It's like, we're going to
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: cross that bridge. Oh, okay. Hey, don't burn bridges. Okay.
- 1:06:48Speaker 14: Right?
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: Not to beat a dead horse or not, you know,
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: the phrase, don't beat a dead horse. Not to beat
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: a dead bush with horses. I'm just trying to keep
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: all my ducks on the same page. Not ducks in
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: a row. Get on the same page. You can lead
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: a horse to water, but you can't make him bathe
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: in it. Not to put all my chickens in one egg.
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: You know, one of my favorites is one of our
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: coolest songs. One of my favorite misunderstandings.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: What?
- 1:07:16Speaker 12: Seven Nation Army. You know, dong, dong, dong, dong, dong, dong.
- 1:07:19Speaker 12: That was Jack White thinking there was a Seven Nation Army,
- 1:07:22Speaker 12: but it's the Salvation Army.
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 1:07:25Speaker 12: He just got it wrong when he was a kid.
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: Then we find out the Salvation Army is like, well,
- 1:07:28Speaker 12: that's not nearly as cool. A Seven Nation Army sounds like,
- 1:07:32Speaker 12: look out.
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: That's good.
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: Well, if you got any phrases you say wrong, we
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: want to hear them. We got tickets to see Madison
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: beer and we're going to play. Remember the time. And
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: we need a contestant right now. Good morning, Jen.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: Jen.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: I wonder why that's not working. Let me try that again.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: I was on mute. Jeez Louise, Jen. Come on. All right.
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: That's all right.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Amen.
- 1:08:01Speaker 10: It's okay.
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: You know, it's like the I Heart slogan is guaranteed human,
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: and there you go.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: We're all guaranteed humans.
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: All right. Let's play Remember the Time.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:08:09Speaker 12: It's all kinds of things for you, Jen.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: It's movies. It's TV.
- 1:08:11Speaker 12: It's pop culture all mushified into one big montage. You
- 1:08:16Speaker 12: just got to tell me what year it all happened.
- 1:08:18Speaker 12: Players ready? Let's remember the time.
- 1:08:21Speaker 10: I'm a.
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: Savage, yeah.
- 1:08:25Speaker 10: Classy, bougie, ratchet.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Sassy, moody, nasty.
- 1:08:28Speaker 14: Hey!
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: All is fair in love and war.
- 1:08:38Speaker 18: Miss Daphne Bridgerton!
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: This world is not yet ready for all that you
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: will do.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Your time will come, Diana. And everything will be different.
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: Right foot up, left foot slide.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Left foot up, right foot slide.
- 1:09:07Speaker 12: Okay, couple of bonus clues for you. This was also
- 1:09:10Speaker 12: the year that Zoom... became a verb, and murder hornets
- 1:09:15Speaker 12: arrived in the USA too. Remember the murder hornets? That
- 1:09:18Speaker 12: was a big scare. Okay, Jen, what did you hear?
- 1:09:20Speaker 12: What did you recognize? What year do you think that
- 1:09:23Speaker 12: went down?
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Oh, gosh. There was quite a bit of.
- 1:09:31Speaker 16: Those.
- 1:09:33Speaker 17: Sorry, Jen, let's cut.
- 1:09:36Speaker 12: Yeah, please don't cuss.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I, yeah. Let's see.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: What is that beeping? I think the french fries are ready.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: It doesn't sound like a turning signal.
- 1:09:46Speaker 13: Oh, sorry, no, sorry, sorry, no.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: What is it? 2003, maybe?
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: God, I am probably so off.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Just a little. But what's that beeping noise? I can't
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: move on until I find out what that beeping noise is.
- 1:10:03Speaker 17: It's, it's, don't touch me, a breathalyzer.
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: A breathalyzer?
- 1:10:09Speaker 12: Oh, and is it beeping because you should not be driving?
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: No, it's because it needs you to blow in it.
- 1:10:15Speaker 7: Every nine minutes.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: Okay, blow in it real quick. We'll wait and see
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: how it goes.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:10:19Speaker 17: I don't want you to hear it in the video.
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: Yeah, just come on.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: Just blow into it. I mean, we're involved now. No
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: matter what, we'll give you the tickets. You are 20
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: years off, but go ahead.
- 1:10:27Speaker 11: Okay, fine.
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: Here we go.
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: There.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: There.
- 1:10:39Speaker 12: Wait.
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: It's still beeping.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: Have you passed yet?
- 1:10:43Speaker 12: It's still warming up.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: How annoying.
- 1:10:48Speaker 10: It is very annoying.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: It's very annoying.
- 1:10:52Speaker 6: Do you also have an ankle bracelet?
- 1:10:54Speaker 10: No, no.
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: That was years ago.
- 1:10:56Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: All right, Jen.
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: All right, so now it's not beeping. Does that mean
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: it worked? The breathalyzer worked?
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Yes, it worked.
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: Oh, good, good.
- 1:11:04Speaker 12: Okay, so to review, did you pick the year 2003?
- 1:11:06Speaker 12: Is that what you said?
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:11:10Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:11:11Speaker 12: All right, that's okay.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: John Jay, your move.
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: I heard Savage, the Megan Thee Stallion song that was
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: very big during the COVID. All this stuff is all
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: COVID time. The question is, was it 2020 or 2021?
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: So did you not pass that thing?
- 1:11:26Speaker 10: Oh my gosh, stop!
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: Why won't it stop beeping?
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: What did you have this morning?
- 1:11:31Speaker 14: I didn't have anything this morning.
- 1:11:33Speaker 13: It's when it's cold, it warms up so it doesn't
- 1:11:37Speaker 13: take a full.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Until a few minutes.
- 1:11:39Speaker 12: It's like 100 degrees outside.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: How could it be cold?
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:11:42Speaker 13: Because my car is.
- 1:11:43Speaker 18: Under a carport.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: It's ridiculous. It's a stupid machine.
- 1:11:47Speaker 17: And it was a stupid decision.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: So it's like, it is what it is.
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: Okay, so when did you get the DUI?
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: How long ago?
- 1:11:53Speaker 11: I don't want to talk about it.
- 1:11:54Speaker 12: It's embarrassing.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: It's very aggressive. We're way past that. I mean, your
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: breath hasn't cleared yet.
- 1:12:01Speaker 10: Right?
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: Don't you have to like.
- 1:12:03Speaker 14: My breath has cleared.
- 1:12:04Speaker 11: It would have said fail if it didn't.
- 1:12:07Speaker 13: But it's just.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: I would think like.
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: You do the breathalyzer, you blow into it, and the
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: approval is.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Like, all right, hey, you're good to go.
- 1:12:15Speaker 10: Congratulations.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: You can drive today.
- 1:12:17Speaker 12: You're driving a Hyundai Elantra.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:12:24Speaker 12: Anyway, I'm going to go 2021. Okay. So Jen says 2003.
- 1:12:29Speaker 12: John Jay says 2021. In the most crazy-ass version of
- 1:12:32Speaker 12: Remember the Time We've Ever Done. Peyton, here's your chance to.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: Rock it.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Try to win one.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: No, I know.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: I'm with John Jay on it being that COVID year.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: I was savage. But what I did here was the.
- 1:12:42Speaker 15: Beyonce remix in there, which makes me think it's definitely
- 1:12:46Speaker 15: not 2020. You have Bridgerton, Justin Bieber, Offset Intentions, Tootsie Slide, Drake.
- 1:12:51Speaker 15: I'm going to say 2022 just because John Jay took 2021. Okay.
- 1:12:54Speaker 12: Everybody's wrong.
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: It's 2020?
- 1:12:59Speaker 11: Really?
- 1:12:59Speaker 12: It's 2020.
- 1:13:01Speaker 10: Wow.
- 1:13:02Speaker 12: You know, one of the big clues was going to
- 1:13:03Speaker 12: be the year of COVID, but I figured that would
- 1:13:05Speaker 12: give it way too far away.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Well, Jen, are you back on mute?
- 1:13:10Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:13:10Speaker 12: I mean, Jen, you do win the award for being
- 1:13:13Speaker 12: the furthest off anybody's ever been on Remember the Time,
- 1:13:16Speaker 12: which I think is an award in itself.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Still, Jen, congratulations.
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: You win. You're going to go see Madison Beer.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: Don't drink and beer. Don't drink beer.
- 1:13:27Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: What was your drink of choice when you got pulled
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: over and got the DUI, and now you.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: Have a breathalyzer?
- 1:13:34Speaker 13: That's not important.
- 1:13:37Speaker 12: She does not want to answer our question.
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: All right, well, hold on the line, Jen.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: We're going to set you up. If you're just tuning in,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: that was Jen.
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: She was a contestant from over the time, and there
- 1:13:45Speaker 7: was a beeping and a noise in the background, and
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: I couldn't get past it. And I'm glad I asked
- 1:13:48Speaker 7: because I've never experienced that before. It was good to hear.
- 1:13:51Speaker 7: But she's doing the right thing, right?
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:54Speaker 7: When you get a breathalyzer like that, does anyone know?
- 1:13:57Speaker 7: Does that mean that you went to court, you did whatever,
- 1:14:01Speaker 7: but you have to drive to work so they put
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: that on?
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: Does anyone know?
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 1:14:05Speaker 15: I'm sure it's something that, I know it like plugs
- 1:14:07Speaker 15: into your car and your car like won't start.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: If you don't pass it.
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: But I was just curious.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it probably is court mandated.
- 1:14:14Speaker 12: But she said hers is every nine minutes that she's
- 1:14:16Speaker 12: in the car.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: I know, that's bizarre.
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:14:19Speaker 15: You would think it would be just every time you
- 1:14:21Speaker 15: start your car, but I mean, you got to be
- 1:14:23Speaker 15: locked in for stuff like that.
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: But what I'm saying is, the judge, does the judge go,
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: this is a good person that has a busy life
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: and needs to drive, so we're going to do this?
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: Or does the judge say, you need to get a
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: ride everywhere you go? Or does the judge say, you
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: go live in tent city for a week if.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: They still, I don't even know if they still have that.
- 1:14:40Speaker 12: Yeah, I don't know if that was an extreme DUI,
- 1:14:42Speaker 12: a super extreme DUI.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: That's what I want to know. I have no idea.
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: If anybody knows, can you call 877-937-1047? Rebecca knows breathalyzer stuff. Hey, Rebecca,
- 1:14:52Speaker 7: what do we know?
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: What do we need to know?
- 1:14:56Speaker 17: So pretty much everyone in Arizona, it doesn't matter if
- 1:15:00Speaker 17: it's like extreme DUI or whatever. It's court mandated that
- 1:15:04Speaker 17: you have a breathalyzer. They don't care if you have
- 1:15:09Speaker 17: a car or don't have a car. I told them
- 1:15:11Speaker 17: my car and they made me purchase a car to
- 1:15:14Speaker 17: get a breathalyzer in it.
- 1:15:16Speaker 12: Wait, they made you purchase a car to use a breathalyzer?
- 1:15:20Speaker 17: Yeah, or it was put in one of my family members' car,
- 1:15:23Speaker 17: and my family member would have to use it as well.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 1:15:28Speaker 7: So they're like, even though they don't have it, they
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: still have to use it, even though they didn't get punished.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Yep. So it happened to you.
- 1:15:34Speaker 17: So I ended up getting my own car, a little beater.
- 1:15:40Speaker 17: I didn't have a license, pretty much.
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: Well, thank you, Rebecca. Thanks for listening.
- 1:15:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Drive safe.
- 1:15:49Speaker 7: We have another breathalyzer expert.
- 1:15:52Speaker 6: Markay.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Markay?
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: Mary Kay.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Oh, Mary Kay. There was a Y missing. Now it's there.
- 1:15:58Speaker 12: Hi, Mary Kay.
- 1:15:59Speaker 14: Oh.
- 1:15:59Speaker 8: Hi.
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: Hi, good morning.
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: Did you hear that call when she was on the breathalyzer?
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: Did you know it was a breathalyzer?
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: Yes, I did hear the call.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: And I was calling because I used to be a
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: criminal paralegal for an attorney who did criminal law, and
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: a lot of it was DUIs. Okay.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: And the breathalyzer comes depending on how much you blow
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: over the legal limit.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: So when you heard her beeping, what did you know?
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: What do you think her story is?
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: Well, I don't want to assume, but I've seen enough
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: cases that when you get a breathalyzer and it beeps
- 1:16:35Speaker 4: that often, that frequent, that it was probably like, I
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: forget the exact term, like an extreme DUI. They have
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: like DUIs and then extreme DUIs, depending on how much
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: over the legal limit you blow.
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: And that's probably the every nine minute warning or, you know.
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: Every nine minutes, that's weird.
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sure the laws have changed since I've been
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: in that area of practice, but yeah.
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: What are you doing right now?
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: Where are you?
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: I'm at work.
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: Are you on a landline?
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: I am.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: It sounds so good. It's like crystal clear. I can
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: hear every little like. like noise from your mouth. It's perfect.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: Why can't she call it? Everybody calls them landlines. Even
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: if you're driving, even if you're driving. Well, Mary, thanks
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: for listening. Mary Kay.
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: Thank you guys. Have a great day.
