- 0:00So, I've been on the air now seven years, and we've had a lot of people come
- 0:05in and out of our show to do personal testimonies. But that's what it's all about, right?
- 0:09Have Faith, Let It Begin is a show for you, the daily commuter,
- 0:13with personal testimony.
- 0:14We have motivational topics and inspirational stories set out to change the world.
- 0:19Within the last three years of this seven-year stretch, we've had people like
- 0:25Dr. Ianelli join the show.
- 0:26We've had Carol join the show. we've had many guests like Clinton Knapp who
- 0:31we're praying for, but no one has touched us even more and quicker than a person
- 0:37that I work hand in hand with.
- 0:39And his name is Nick. I call him Professor Nick.
- 0:42He has an opportunity today to give you probably one of the best personal testimonies.
- 0:48So I'm asking you to strap on your seatbelts, make sure your tray tables are
- 0:52not upright positions. We're about to fly air Nick.
- 0:56Have faith. Let it begin. Special edition. Nick is here again.
- 1:01Starts right now. Have faith. Let it begin. When it starts right now.
- 1:06Music.
- 1:12Here's your host, Angel Santana. Ariel, can you say, have faith?
- 1:18Let it begin. Let it begin? Let it begin. Say, have faith.
- 1:23Let it begin. Let it begin. No. No? No? Okay. Hi, Noah. Noah!
- 1:32Happy birthday, Noah! Kidding. I feel amazing. That's your birthday, please.
- 1:39Noah. This little light of mine, I'm going to let it say.
- 1:44This little light of mine, I'm going to let it say.
- 1:48This little light of mine, I'm going to let it say. Let it say. Let it say.
- 1:56Let it say. Yeah.
- 2:00Daddy, I'm so excited, but I have one question. What's your question?
- 2:04Are you going to be a pastor or a minister?
- 2:07Good question. I don't know, but it is all in God's hands. Good morning.
- 2:12You're listening to Have Faith Lab again, and it starts right now.
- 2:17Hello, everyone. Welcome and happy Friday. It's Friday, Friday, Friday.
- 2:20Nick is here. He's taking over the reins. Without further ado,
- 2:24the show is all yours. Nick, take it away.
- 2:27Thank you, Angel. So I felt I've been thinking about, you know,
- 2:32coming on your show again for a while, but I wanted to come come in with something
- 2:37that, you know, was very interesting,
- 2:39hopefully for your audience and
- 2:41something that, you know, I I try to accomplish myself on a daily basis.
- 2:48And you've touched on it yourself. I think there was an episode that you had
- 2:52probably within the last couple of weeks, I think that that's soon about building
- 2:56a relationship with Christ. And how do you go about that?
- 3:00Yes. So, you know I think that.
- 3:05I think that we might be making too much of, you know, well, what do I do?
- 3:11How do I go about building a relationship with Jesus?
- 3:15It's, I see it as not being as hard as that.
- 3:20You know, he, God sent his son to us in a form,
- 3:27in the form of going through birth and up to 33 years old. And then he had his ministry.
- 3:35So he did that so that he can experience the human nature, and he went through every day.
- 3:42He went through from child to growing up to be an adolescent to an adult,
- 3:48which is where basically his ministry took place.
- 3:54So he's very accessible and it doesn't need to be any formal prayer,
- 4:01although everything is kind of melded into the Lord's prayer,
- 4:06but it doesn't have to be as formal as that.
- 4:11My relationship with Jesus is in the morning when I'm walking my dog and I speak
- 4:19to him, you know, thank you for the day.
- 4:23This is what's going to be happening today.
- 4:25I hope at the end, at the hope at the end of the day, you've pleased you're
- 4:29pleased with the way I've handled myself.
- 4:33And just speak to him like you're building a relationship with someone.
- 4:41You know, there are nine elements to any healthy relationship.
- 4:45Now, healthy relationship being with your friend or friends,
- 4:51your significant other, your family. How do you go about building your relationship with them?
- 4:57It's the same way with Jesus. You know, you have open communication,
- 5:04trust, mutual respect, commitment, honesty.
- 5:12Respect, personal space, affection, healthy conflict, and fun of being together.
- 5:22I kind of want to emphasize healthy conflict.
- 5:25There's nothing wrong about having a stronger relationship with Jesus.
- 5:30He understands. He wants that open communication.
- 5:35So if there's something that you feel that you don't quite understand or you
- 5:39don't feel right about, you can talk to him about it. He wants to hear it.
- 5:45He wants to hear how you feel. But as you've said almost every day on your podcast,
- 5:51he will never leave your side.
- 5:53He will always be there for you, no matter what.
- 5:56But he wants you to be human. He understands that. He made you this way.
- 6:01And that's the way to really communicate and develop your relationship with Jesus on a daily basis.
- 6:11You might want to ask, how do you know when you've developed that relationship?
- 6:17I'll tell you how I knew I got there.
- 6:22In the weekly service, I had looked up at the cross and saw Jesus is there on the cross.
- 6:32And I just stared at the cross and a tear came to my eye.
- 6:37That's when I knew I had the relationship that I needed to have.
- 6:42And, you know, in the Psalms It's really kind of laid out in the Psalms What
- 6:49he's looking for and what you'll get In Psalm 34,
- 6:53it says This poor man cried and the Lord heard him And saved him from all his
- 6:59troubles That's in paragraph 6 In 17,
- 7:03when the righteous cry for help The Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles,
- 7:09And in 19, it says,
- 7:12many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
- 7:18So, you know, the thing is, one of the other things that we need to have in
- 7:22that relationship is patience.
- 7:24You know, we're not a society that has patience. We want instant gratification.
- 7:30And it doesn't work that way. The Lord delivers without a doubt in perfect timing
- 7:39on his time, not our time.
- 7:43So you really, you know, the things in life just don't happen.
- 7:48If you think about kind of the day-to-day ordinary things that happen,
- 7:53some of them don't happen so quickly.
- 7:56We, you know, there's, we have to wait for them. And, but the thing is,
- 8:01is to always keep the faith,
- 8:04always keep that communication open and that relationship with God,
- 8:08and you will be heard and he will deliver.
- 8:14Now, it may not be exactly what you asked for, but it will satisfy what you
- 8:21need because he knows better than us what we need.
- 8:25So, you know, that's the kind of the message I want to deliver to your audience today.
- 8:30Develop that relationship with God. You know, in the downtime of your life,
- 8:36just start a conversation.
- 8:39And I kind of end my night by saying, I hope I pleased you today.
- 8:43And that's kind of my evening prayer. And I said, you know, there's some things
- 8:48that maybe I could have done a little better.
- 8:50Tomorrow we'll be back at it again. But it really needs to be nothing informal.
- 8:56It can be extremely informal, just as if you were talking to,
- 8:59you know, a loved one or a friend.
- 9:02So I just wanted to bring that across to everyone.
- 9:05Uh, it's, you know, it's, it's amazing. I gave you a little pause there because
- 9:09I didn't want to cut you off just in case you had a,
- 9:11you know, you were in a, in a thought, but I think that what your message does
- 9:15today for everyone and what a really good way to end the week with it,
- 9:19because it gives us time to really think about it over the weekend.
- 9:23So I want to thank you for that. And for the record, I didn't know what you
- 9:27were going to talk about except for the title.
- 9:29So it's nice. You know, I'm, I'm listening to it just like all of our half faith,
- 9:33let it begin listener this morning, which is awesome.
- 9:35And I want to just end with a quote that I did find, and that is,
- 9:39a relationship with God is the most important relationship you can have.
- 9:45Trust him and everything will always turn out fine.
- 9:49And I think that is the greatest way that we can end today's episode.
- 9:53So I want to thank you, Nick, for coming on. You're always welcome on the platform.
- 9:58But I think we should definitely close out in a prayer and reach out to all
- 10:01of our good friends and family.
- 10:04We have praises across the board as well. I won't get detailed on it,
- 10:08but let's start off with a praise.
- 10:10Heavenly Father, we thank you for today's episode. We thank you for the whole week.
- 10:13We thank you for individuals that are seeking new careers and have been given
- 10:18the opportunity and was granted an opportunity for something new.
- 10:23We pray for teachers and new ones.
- 10:25We lift up in prayer, Nick and his family, from Diane to Cassandra.
- 10:30We thank you, Lord, for bringing them into our lives.
- 10:32And we thank each and every single person that is listening today.
- 10:37As we continue to lift up in prayer, our other good colleague,
- 10:40Clinton Knapp, who is still recovering over his second heart transplant.
- 10:44We know that he's listening to our show. So Clinton, continue to heal, brother.
- 10:49Nick and I are there for you. Maria, you know that we're here for you as well.
- 10:53And the entire family. Nick, do you have any prayer requests that we would like to do as well?
- 10:59Yeah, I'd like to pray for my God child. You know, he's been afflicted with
- 11:04an addiction that's pretty terrible and just wanted to continue to send out
- 11:10prayers and thoughts for him.
- 11:12Absolutely. And there's others out there too, like Kenneth, Rose, Douglas.
- 11:17These are people that have always reached out. We pray for Rob and we pray for
- 11:20the entire half-eighth, let it begin family.
- 11:22We close out today by praying the words that he taught us, our father who art in heaven.
- 11:28Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 11:35Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
- 11:41Lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom,
- 11:46the power and the glory forever. Amen.
- 11:49Guys, it's a great way to close out
- 11:52the week. And we are about to make an announcement right here, right now.
- 11:56Something new is coming to our platform. And I definitely want to invite Nick to help us with it.
- 12:01We are going to be doing once a month live communion.
- 12:05That's right. I will let you know in advance. So you will have your juice and
- 12:09you'll have your choice of bread.
- 12:11Or of course, in my house, my kids love matzah.
- 12:15So you can pick what you want and we will do a morning communion so that you
- 12:20can start your day off with the Lord. What do you think, Nick?
- 12:23Pretty good? That's fabulous.
- 12:24It's a great idea. I think it's a good idea. And I think it would be cool that
- 12:27maybe you come on and you'll do a communion for us. I'll do a communion.
- 12:31We'll do one from every, you know, denomination. I know you can give us a Catholic version.
- 12:35You know, they're all the same, but it's nice with the wording being a little
- 12:38different. So maybe you can give us one and then I'll do one from the Christian's perspective.
- 12:42And then anybody else that would like to come on and share their version,
- 12:45we'd love to welcome you.
- 12:47On behalf of all of us here, on behalf of Nick, co-host for this last two days, don't worry, Ianelli.
