D.C. Streets Shut Down for Mental Health 5K | Washington DC News
D.C. is gearing up for the Moore Equity in Mental Health 5K this Saturday, July 11th — and it’s going to seriously disrupt downtown traffic. From 4 a.m. to noon, major streets including Pennsylvania Avenue (3rd to 14th St. NW) become no-parking zones, with even more closures from 7:30 a.m. to noon as the race unfolds. Expect Pennsylvania, Constitution, and Independence Avenues to be shut down — plan your route ahead or risk getting stuck.
