- 0:00Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and welcome to another episode
- 0:05of the United Church of Tonga Youth Devotion.
- 0:09Our Bible passage for today is taken from 2 Chronicles 15, verse 7.
- 0:16It says, But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.
- 0:24Our theme, Do Not Give Up. This verse offers encouragement and perseverance.
- 0:32It's dedicated to those who are struggling to reconnect with their faith.
- 0:37Despite the challenges you may face in re-establishing your faith and obedience
- 0:43to God, he reminds us that our hard work and dedication will ultimately be rewarded.
- 0:50He calls us to remain strong, committed, patient, and trusting that our efforts
- 0:58to do what is right will lead to positive results.
- 1:03Let us reflect on Joseph's life. He was loved by his father,
- 1:08but envied by his brothers.
- 1:11They sold him as a slave to Midianites merchants. Despite all the bullying,
- 1:19Joseph harbored no hurt towards his brothers.
- 1:25He did his best in every place where he worked.
- 1:29All the good works Joseph accomplished, even in prison, were done with a good
- 1:36heart and never with a vengeful attitude.
- 1:42This was achieved because Joseph believed in the one true God.
- 1:47In the end, Pharaoh promoted Joseph from a prisoner to the second in command in all of Egypt.
- 1:56Today's scripture is a message for anyone encountering difficulties or striving
- 2:03towards a long-term goal.
- 2:06It urges them to keep moving forward because their efforts won't go to waste.
- 2:14Let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for this beautiful day you have
- 2:21blessed us with, and we are grateful for bringing everyone who reads this into a new month.
- 2:29I pray that you continue to bless and guide those who come across this devotional,
- 2:37keeping them and their families safe. Amen.
