- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: Today's guest didn't come through Wall Street.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't wait for a television network of financial institution or a major corporation to validate him.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_02]: Instead, he build one of the
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: largest independent financial education companies in the world creating his own platform, his own economy, and his own movement.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: From building the quiet wealth club into one of the biggest financial communities on Patreon to broadcasting live from the New York Stock Exchange to reaching more than 1.5

- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: philanthropists, men of God and someone who's impacted millions by making financial education accessible to everyday people.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: Today we're talking about building influence, creating wealth in the digital age, navigating criticism, investing entrepreneurship, and what it really takes to become financially free without waiting for someone else to open the door.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: Ladies and gentlemen,
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: Mr. Chris, what's up, brother?
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: That was phenomenal, bro.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: You're so, you're so, you're so, you're so, man.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's such an honor and pleasure to be here with you.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: I've been in the financial space, let's say 20 years, if that.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: I started at my career as a banker, did everything in banking, you know, you know.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: Tell a personal man, good private banking and then I got into the financial education space 2009 and so just been blessed to, you know, to really be in this space.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: But when I look at what you've done in this space, it is phenomenal.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: It is something that our community needs and you're doing it, like the bio says.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: You're doing it.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: on your own terms, your breaking, your breaking the rules, right?
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: Because I'll be honest, right?
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: Coming from the bank and world, you know, I was told how I needed to dress and how I needed to talk it.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't until I wanted to say 2017, I was like, you know what I'm taking a pseudo?
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm like, I'm not asking what's mission or more.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_02]: But so I appreciate that.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: So I want to get into all of what you've built.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's funny because my wife actually introduced me to use, well, you know, do it through your YouTube.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, I want to get into all of that.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and you're all words, man, who is Chris and man.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: I like to tell people, I'm a guy that, you know, I help everyday people invest in Bill well for the stock market and so that started because I was an athlete at my core.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I even teach financial literacy through the lens of sports.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's one reason so many people relate because many people can resonate with
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: with going through and overcoming hurdles or going through hardship, overcoming adversity, all the abs and flows that we know and you have it hooper.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: So you, you know, running up and down the court, you know, sudden change and those are some of the very things that taste place in the stock market, but I was able to embed that.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: into how I teach and give the information surrounding financial literacy.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I just think in a lot of ways, not only do people gravitate towards it, but as they also love it here from somebody that looked like them, you know how we do, you know how we come that speaks like we talk, that comes from what they come from.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: And so when you can present something in a digestible way,
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: and people can learn from it.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: But more importantly, get the real result.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's the platform and the blueprint to creating a movement such as I create it.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, for sure.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: Where did you get your financial acumen from?
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: Was it, did you come from money?
- 6:14[SPEAKER_02]: Was it, you know, trial and error?
- 6:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like, how did you get in the wisdom?
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: I would tell people,
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: off to top because I'm a very transparent person.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm probably as wealthy as I am.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm probably the most frugal guy you're going to meet.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying me and Ocho Sinko, we both were old spirit.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: B, B, B, B, B, B, B, B when how to business.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: We own that type of person.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: But I say that to say, my thing came from sports, man.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: For me, it was seeing athletes.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: who made hundreds of millions of dollars go broke through the five years after their career ended.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, I was intrigued by what are we doing and why does that happen?
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: As that took me down a rabbit hole where it just made me want to know, so I can speak the language.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: to us, to our culture, and specifically the athletes.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: And so that got me really on the fast track to like becoming a student financially, becoming financially literate.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: Knowing how to decode the acronyms that they might hear something in the stock market like dry powder and not know what that means.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: They might hear the word hold.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: And you coming from a financial industry know what that means, but a person who comes from a trend is like,
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: But hasn't taken an interest in financial literacy.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: You might not know those things as well.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: I said, you know what?
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna make it my own man to unpack these complex or what they would have you believe to be complex arms.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna simplify it, but also deliver it in a way that they can not only digest it, but begin to apply it.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it did for me.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's where it came from.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I love that.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: In 2026,
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: What is the path to wealth for our people?
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: For 2026, it's too full.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: You can no longer
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: for to not be investing.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: And so you must take it serious.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: And if you don't have all the evidence or front of you that you need, people are losing jobs, meta just cut 21,000 jobs.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: You PS just cut 11,000.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: No matter what sector you're in, white collar and or blue collar with the emergence of AI with the emergence of the of memory stocks.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: These things are wiping out whole sectors and industries of individuals who don't who don't create their own have their own build their own and so I would tell you you have to have a two-prong approach you must be investing you must be into diverse assets alternative assets such as crypto Bitcoin
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: gold, real estate, all of it now has come to the forefront where we must participate in those things or you're going to get left behind.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: And you can already begin to see, although it's 2026 by 2030, it's going to become more apparent and more evident of those that didn't get in the game because they're going to be so far behind in terms of that wealth gap.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to look like they're down by a landslide.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_02]: When you think about, because you mentioned AI, when you think about AI and how it's both positively affected us, and negatively in some ways, what's the best use for AI in your opinion?
- 9:28[SPEAKER_02]: But even as it relates to finances, do you think there's a...
- 9:32[SPEAKER_02]: positive use case of using AI to get your finances.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: Ruffton say, yes, you need to embrace it and figure ways to incorporate it alongside what you are already doing.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, versus allowing it to be something you stay away from, you steer clear from.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: and then it removes you or replaces you.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: So you need to have a balance as it comes to AI.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: But I often say AI is awesome, but AI can't demonstrate expertise.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: There's still something that the human can do as a fact that AI just will never be able to do.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: AI can't demonstrate expertise.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: It can tell you some stuff.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but there's a difference between individuals that have built something that have real results.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: versus something that's just telling you something and theory and theory.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: And if the human can't remember that and understand, AI can't demonstrate expertise and so therefore you have to know where to pair it and how to align it with what you're doing, then you can make it because you're going to see
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: one man companies become billion dollar companies.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to see one or two or small levels teams be able to do astronomical numbers of a corporation that got 1,500 employees.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's already here, but it's going to be more prevalent in more of the norm in years to come.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the power of it, but the question is how are we are going to associate ourselves with it?
- 11:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, it's funny to you say that because I truly believe that it is the experience that makes people connect.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_02]: Like when you think about, you know, me and the finance world, you're in the finance world, it isn't necessarily the knowledge because we didn't create money.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't create, you know, these tools, it is the delivery of them.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_02]: It is our story, it is the connectivity, it's the people who you're talking to, that
- 11:26[SPEAKER_02]: For years, people said that we didn't want to learn about money.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yo, I don't remember, I won't say the television station's name, but I have a friend who is a hip-hop legend, right?
- 11:43[SPEAKER_02]: And they had shows on television, or whatever the case may be, and they made an introduction to me.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_02]: Then this was back in 2011, I want to say it, yo.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: They made an introduction to me to this, this television station.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I was obviously pitching them.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, yes, I want to do, you know, you know, financial literacy.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: And they literally literally, but you don't, I want to do it.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_02]: They have found your way, right?
- 12:07[SPEAKER_02]: And they literally said, Black people don't want to learn about money.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: And you just were head of your time, you had your time action and it's the same thing to your point.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember you, I remember even, I'm from the Midwest and Detroit, Chicago, Michigan area.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: You were on the radio in those times here that you sang.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: But I could tell even then you had more in a tank.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: But listen to this, the world.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: might not have fully been ready.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, but guess when they were ready, yeah, by the time Colby hit, but guess what, you already had an eight nine year hair.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: It was like a time Colby here and then you were able to take off.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: And it was similar for me.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: My wife and I, we became that free.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: We retired at 35.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: We've been at this a long time.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: And so, but we saw the same thing happen.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: I've been teaching and preaching financial literacy maybe heavy since 2014.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: But I noticed myself,
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that it didn't really pop and hit and take off.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, until 2020.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: 2021.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: We're then the eyeballs really locked in and came.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: I start like, man, there is people that want to know about this.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, you've been knew it for sure.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: That cake.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: You can go for sure in advance.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: And honestly, it's funny because that was the blessing, right?
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, I believe, you know, you're a man of faith.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a man of faith, you know, all things.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's some, that a little bit, all things are working far greater good.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_02]: So when I think about, you know, COVID, you know, rest of the piece and anybody who's negatively benefacted by it, but when you think about it being a perfect storm for,
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: Educators absolutely it, you know, it definitely like let's just say if a if a million people knew who I was prior to COVID 10 million No, you was now yeah, and I and I and I and I you know that happened
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know, when you think about, you know, like right now because even with all this education and all this information that we put out there, you know, I'd rather that, you know, you know, earn your leisure, you know, you know, Ross, you know, Ross, Matt, like all the people that are out there, you know, and our sisters, right, Tiffany, the Buds and these are like all the people that are out there doing that thing, really, you know, moving the needle and financial education, they're still people who, um,
- 14:32[SPEAKER_02]: don't get it or are not moving in the right direction, if you will, what is their first step?
- 14:40[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what is the first step to try to get people to fully understand like you said that you, like investing is not a choice.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I have to start investing.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: One, it shows me you and all of us that's in the space and that's occupying the space.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: We got more work to do.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we're doing.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, that I have family members who are not invested.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: And they are related to one of the biggest investors in the world, like that speaks volumes.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure the same is true for you.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: When I talk to various people in our space,
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: I do coaching calls every day.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: I've never had a coaching call with a family member because their interest in it is just not there.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_00]: Again, some people are going to come to the party a little later than others.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, again, I give them grace.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: We ain't shunning nobody, we don't put anybody down, but you begin to notice like, okay, God, they may not be ready for this right now, but in your timing,
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: they will come to know that this is the way and they're going to see or they're going to get tired of having to get permission from their boss to take vacation you're going to get tired of being told when to take a lunch break there's going to be something that happens that makes them say you know what I do need to take my finances into my own control maybe I need to listen to ash cash maybe I need to listen to Chris saying maybe I need to tune into EYL and see what these guys are talking about but beyond seeing
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: implement and take action on the things these brothers have been putting down for over a decade now.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think that's the first step is just you got to get sick and tired of being a sick and tired for the ones that haven't seen the light yet, you know, saying again, we want to continue to walk alongside them.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to continue to be there to support them.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: But again, until they are ready, they won't make that that's trying and I don't force on anybody and that's the beauty of it.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: I present the information.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to show up every day.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be consistent in my own pursuit in my own effort.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: But if you're not picking up what I'm putting down, that's simply on you.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: But you can't say the information isn't out there.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: And if I'm not the right messenger, guess what?
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: There's ash cancels out there.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: There's a host of other
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: guys and girls in the financial space that are crushing it.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: That you can learn from.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_02]: For sure, it's funny because you know, salute to our brother Troy from EYL.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_02]: He says, uh, information on me, implementation on you, like you got to a lot, you got to, you know, uh, implement.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_02]: Um, how did you build the largest financial education company on the planet?
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: Like, in the world, like, was it 90,000?
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it's probably a little bit more than that, but I like to stay humble about that kind of stuff.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, man, I would say I always say it's my three pillars trust transparency and consistency.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: One thing about me and the more time we spend together, you're gonna just see me, he humble at his core.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: He has done some things that even people twice our senior have been done, just like his decorum and how he carries it so you wouldn't know that's number one trust builds your community trust builds audience one thing about me when it comes to trust and transparency ash out
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: Truly show people I show this is when I talk about I show this and this is key I show in teach.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: I show going from zero to a hundred k I show going from a hundred k to one million I show the steps I don't leave nobody behind I tell you like this is what I'm gonna buy This is where I'm gonna buy this is the price.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna buy it if you want to trade options with me This is the strike price.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna buy this is how many contracts.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna buy
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: This is the expiration date I'm going to choose.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: When you can be that level of transparent with our people, they come from us because we are the most skeptical people on a planet.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: Black people don't believe nothing you do until they see you do it.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: Show them how to do it or they get the result themselves.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: And that was my whole thing through trust transparency consistency.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to show you how to get the result for yourself.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: So although I might make 10,000 who might have made it
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: Nevertheless, you saw proof of concept and you saw that it too happened for you and had you put much money as I put in.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: Your 1000 would have been the same as my team.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: And the people could begin to grab a hold of that.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: I always stay humble.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: I always stay committed to the people.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: So for example.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: I create YouTube video seven days a week.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm into long form content.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't do a lot of short form content.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: So, but I don't hold you past 10 minutes.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm not overly talkative, but I'm giving you enough substance meet in that 10 minutes that can change your life.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: And so, when you can get a 10 minute video, he let us go about our day and go watch with Ash got going on in everybody else got going on.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: But then when we double back and implement the things he said, we see in the result.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_00]: Now, you know, news travels fast, especially when somebody want to tell others about it.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: So, man, we call it, I'm called Coach of my community.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: Coach helped me make $1,000 today.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: Well, my promise was only 100.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: I told you that I could help you make a hundred dollars a day consistently.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, when you start seeing the thousands, you look on like, man, well, that's 10 next, but what I can't hear right, right, right, right, you know, I'm saying it, but on the top of that, he over promise he under promises, but over delivers.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: But then he's willing to.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: take it to stuff further.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: I call my community.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not the guy that's so big that I don't touch the people.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so in addition to me teaching you and showing you and walking on the sides, you every day at noon from 12 to 4, we do coaching costs.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: So then I can go deeper.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: I can see to you and meet you where you're at.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: You might be a moderate level or a higher level investor than a person is just getting started.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the person feels fully supported knowing that they're
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: They're hearing from me meeting them exactly where their pain point is at and then I'm able to speak to theirs for civic need.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you want to leave your job and you want to get off the corporate plantation?
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, here's a game plan we're going to set up for you to achieve.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then when they really see that stuff come to fruition, whether it's coach I paid off my house.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: I paid off my student loans, coach, my husband died, but I got the insurance money and I was able to do X, Y, and Z.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: When you have real life stories from real life people every single day, that's different.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: And when it's the people, the Bible says, let others exalt you.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: Ash, I've never ran an app.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: You will never see a commercial for me.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: You will never say, I don't have, I don't do any of that kind of stuff.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: So for my name to be in rooms that I'm not in, it's only because the work that I'm doing through the lower, but that the people are saying, yeah, on my behalf.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: And you can't argue with real results.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what I would say with some of what helped build it.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: When you, when you, uh, your coaching call, like you're doing your coaching calls one on one or the one.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: So you do one on one coaching.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: I do one on one coaching rose.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: 35 minutes to 45 minutes every day.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: Do like four or five a day.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: Then we do do group things.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: We are big on meeting in person.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm big on touching my community.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_00]: I want to hug and hide five of them.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: I want to love one of them.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: I want to continue to edify them.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: as much as I can so we do so we just got back from Dallas for example we did a quiet wealth summit so we got the quiet well club but then we do a quiet wealth summit and so we like to get out and they pick we either pick we look at our analytics and my biggest following is in New York Atlanta Dallas Chicago and LA so we always hit those five states
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: and then so this year was Dallas and so everybody comes no matter where you at we meet in Dallas.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: So we take it off for you too.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: We take it off a social media and we get together and we we fellowship in real life.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: So they can they can feel because all I say you can't fake energy when you see somebody in real life.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: Online they might have a good editing.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's different.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's got it or whatever it is, you know, saying it so we're big on the real life experience with the audience, then we take it back online and they continue to learning and the teaching.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_02]: How do you balance your success with, you know, your husband, your father, you know, you said you're doing videos every day.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_02]: You don't coach your calls every day.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: How do you, how do you balance that?
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: because for me, one is vertically integrated.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's all connected.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: So nothing don't feel like I'm doing extra.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's just all part of my purpose.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's all part of my calling.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: So for example, my morning starts at 4 a.m.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_00]: I try to do my devotion.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: I do all of this stuff before the world wakes up and before my wife wakes up.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm getting my me time in my health and wellness in from four to six.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_00]: Steam room, sauna, workout, walks.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: They'll be you talked about offline.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: All that's happened that four to morning to six.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_00]: So then at six, I'm beginning to look at the stock market.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm watching CNBC.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_00]: By the time market opened in 930, I'm already talking to the Discord beginning at 9.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: My Patreon, I'm beginning at 9.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm educating them about what happened overnight and how that's going to play out in the morning.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: So then from 9 to 930 to 1130, I trade.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I got to get busy, I got to stay sharp, I got to make sure that's the one thing about me.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: indulge in what I teach my students.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm in the trade.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm everything I talk about I do too.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: So that's another thing they can tell, like man, if we lose together, we take the loss together.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: But when we win, we win together.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: And so you're not ducking no smoke.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're not only showing up on the days, everything is all good.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_00]: You're going through the storm with them, when Trump says something out of the blue and it knocks the market down.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: But then at 1130 we we we we close a computer and then it's all about the person and now always say people will will never remember everything you say But they'll always remember how you made them feel.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'll call them beginning at 12 o'clock all the way to market close and I guess I'm gonna need
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: real personal stories.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: I meet their kids.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: I know the whole family.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: I got the husband and wives all going to cause and it becomes something so much bigger than a coaching call.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: And something that they say, man, this is different.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: not everybody that's at this level, the real destactor is doing this.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, still giving their time up in this way.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's one of the pieces that helped set me apart for sure.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: And that light.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: And so this is how the day goes.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: So at four, boom, we do our last coaching call for the day.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: And it's time to hop on YouTube.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm saying so then we turn the camera on, our setup is just like this actually this is better than my setup, but at least we got this same camera right here, we turn that on, what's up you tool, but then we we going to our spill and we just recap the day or I give them what the market market.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: to interpret, to expect the upcoming day, whether it's earnings coming out, whether it's CPI reports, whether it's a new Fed chair being installed.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_00]: We talk about the upcoming things so they can know how the future is going to benefit or impact their present.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: And so then after the video is over,
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: it's me and wifey time with every movie she don't find for us on Netflix.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: Amazon probably gonna go sit down and watch that for a little bit and then we go to sleep eat a little bit we try to both pretty pretty healthy and then we do it all again.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's how the day maintains balance and then you saw I met your team when I got here but when I pulled up my wife was with me.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: So we retired at 35 but we have financial freedom as
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: most places with me.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: So the time me able to be a husband, be able to create moments and have that intimate one-on-one with her is still there because we flew here.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_00]: But we in New York most days because we shoot at the New York Stock Exchange on a few days after we talking to CEOs and founders.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_00]: So then we come from New York to Atlanta to see you.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm saying, when we leave Atlanta, we shoot in a Florida or Florida, then we shoot in a Vegas.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: But she's there along the way.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: She might not be participating every little thing, but we rocking out the entire time.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: So she's not missing a beat in terms of being with our man, being with our husband, but also we're making moments and memories when we're at these places.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: We're big on philanthropy and giving back.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_00]: when we're chilling, after we get done chilling, we might be online looking up some stuff.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: Man, this is the organization.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: We saw him get more in America doing some awesome things.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: Let's hit them up and see if we can pull up on them.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see if we can sew into them.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: So she's being edified, she's being fortified.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: she's been a blessing in other states and community.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_00]: She's traveling to.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: She's still with her husband.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: She's given me enough time and space to create as well as speak to people.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: And then we just have a good cohesion of a multitude of things going.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what I would tell you in a nutshell how it all looks and coming together.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I love that you said that because I love the vertical integration piece because even from a financial perspective, a lot of people who preach, you know, most millionaires have seven streams of income.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: What that blanket statement says, it makes it feel like you got to be doing seven different things, right?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: But we understand that those seven things need to be vertically
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: that we do, and what it sounds like, which I appreciate is you vertically, and so like this is your light, yeah, right?
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: What big Sean say, forget a vacation, it's not a good matter of our work, you know what I'm saying?
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: And so it's like, it's like, you're vertically integration, this is the light, yeah, right?
- 29:05[SPEAKER_02]: And so you don't need a vacation, if your life is a vacation, really, like everybody has been ready to vacation.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: You're still right, and so I'm happy you broke down.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: What vertically integrated is because they do throw that a misnomer around at Juni seven streets of income and although you may need that I got 11 yeah, but I'm not doing 11 different things I don't have 11 LLCs for these 11 streets of income.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know what I'm trying to say and so for example Just so somebody walk away from this
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: from this podcast, understanding what Ash and I are talking about.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: So for instance, I create YouTube videos, the YouTube videos creates curiosity.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody reaches out to join an X4 coaching call.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: After the coaching card, they look like, man, you even more reeler and more down the earth than I saw through your YouTube video.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: So then they join the Patreon.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: Again, getting inside the private community and getting inside there and be like, Oh, what is this?
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: So inside there is something magical, but then you get the join the quiet world club.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: But then when you want to take your life to the next level, you join what's called the Money Team.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: And that's something I never talk about.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even promote these services.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: But these are eight figure entities that are streamed from one thing, which is the YouTube, which is since it's tentacles out to everything else.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not doing 11 different businesses.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's all awful, one thing.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: I just have 11 streams coming from them.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like you, for example.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: you are a best selling author.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: You have authored nearly 20 books.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: If not more, you have off all of those.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: There's people I know that come to you for you to help them know how to write their book.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: Off this one book.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: you have created multiple strings of income.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: As soon as they told me, I'll ask, how many do my books?
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking like, well, he's author, his self.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: He can publish.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_00]: He might help you print your book.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_00]: Listen to this.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: Publish, print, consult.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: marketing advertise because he's brilliant at that.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_00]: This is for income.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_00]: They said you'll need seven.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: He had four just off a hand even branched off to his financial sector.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: This is what we mean guys.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: When we talk to you guys about having multiple streams of income.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: And that's exactly that because I think that you know, people don't focus on the one thing right and I think that the inability to not focus on the one thing right everything integrate so like what like you said like so now you know like sales and mark I have the podcast I'm able to you don't help promote people you know help promote with the podcast within even
- 31:48[SPEAKER_02]: from a digital perspective, I consult with helping people create courses and communities in high ticket programs and things of that nature.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_02]: And so yeah, that's kind of that.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_02]: When you think about, oh, no, I want to ask about the, I still want to ask about the one on one coaching, right?
- 32:05[SPEAKER_02]: Because to have such a big community and you're still doing your coaching calls,
- 32:18[SPEAKER_02]: like how are you talking to somebody every single day?
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: So for example, this is below you guys is mine.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: Every first of January, my coaching schedule fills up for a year.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: I talk every day like I'm talking to you.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_00]: So the person already filled the deep connection because the videos and about y'all, it's about you.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: So then they will like, man, coast that message you gave today online was you were talking directly to me, coast.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_00]: I went on your website.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's where the place you go to to join the 101 coast.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm big on ownership.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: And so,
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: for me, it was about building my own ecosystem.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: So, although I talk about YouTube and Patreon, I built the same systems that I own.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_00]: And so, this is where the wealth truly comes at, because the coaching core, I'm not splitting on that money.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: with YouTube right, you know.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's all me.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_00]: So they go to the website to book a coaching call and they can sign up for as many as they want.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_00]: They can sign up for one just to try it out.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_00]: But when they get there, they see all these other offerings and services.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the other thing inside my Patreon.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: I have instructors and teachers and expert traders and investors in there too because I saw since 2019, my schedule has booked up when I opened it, it feels up for the whole year.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: So all of my coaches and pro investors, I encourage them to start their coaching program to catch my overflow.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: see when the lower bless is you, your abundance is also intended to bless others.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's all right.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: And so, I don't with hope, I don't keep them down, I helped them start their own Patreon from my Patreon and I helped them start their own coaching and consulting from my overflow because I can't meet everybody.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: So, I do, I have four slots available a day.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't do them on Monday or Friday because I'm getting locked in.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting information doing what I need to do for me.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: And so Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays, we got four slots available.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_00]: They can book as many as they want them sending.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: So then they're able to then start because once you in my ecosystem, you start seeing, oh, he do this.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I can be a part of this.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he got this in person event coming up here.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see him in real life here.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: And so before you know it, they're part of an experience that changes the dynamic from just a transaction.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: And that's some of the secret thoughts to it.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I love that.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: And it's funny because I'm actually learning from this as well, because part of
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: Um, my, with one of my challenges, I would, I would say is, um, I start off like loving one of the people and doing the work on and then as I allow myself to get so busy that I don't have time to do you know to know that can have right.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: to do that work.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm just fascinated to, because I haven't built anything as like 90,000 plus members.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_02]: So to see somebody with such a large community that still isn't touched with the people is inspiring to me because I felt like the only way because I'm a media guy, right?
- 35:53[SPEAKER_02]: And so I felt like the only way
- 35:58[SPEAKER_02]: was to, all right, the podcast was to create the communities and things of that nature, but not give them the one on one, right, give them the one to many.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: And so to hear that you're still doing the one on one is that for them something that is like, and let me tell you this.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: Now, here's a couple of gems for you.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: So we can we can sharpen each other in this regard.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: So the one on ones are $1,000 too, yeah.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_00]: So this, this, my March, one, I know, I'm debt free.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_00]: I have low overhead or no overhead because I don't have a huge production.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_00]: So what I'd learned by this to get in front of my ecosystem costs $1,000.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: You could do the math if I got 90,000 plus people.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: Correct.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: As you grow and go, you start getting to the things that cost $10,000.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_00]: What I learned about the finance space ain't nobody like it for money.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's the fact.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: You worked in that industry.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yup.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: You've seen firsthand the type of deposits, the type of, you know, and so I got expelled.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: I learned it like, oh,
- 37:09[SPEAKER_00]: All that $100 stuff, I ain't by the deal but no $100 headache, right?
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: When there's people that's willing to pay a thousand, and they don't bad at I.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: They tell me, my art listen to this, listen to how I make a million a month.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: My audience told me, so my, listen to this, everybody watching, my Patreon is really $10.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: My community told me to make it $100.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: So if you had, I got 60,000 Patreon people,
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's the other 90 come from the money team and all my other things.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: If you got $60,000 people at minimum paying $10,000 a month, $10 a month, but you have an audience in there that encourages a hundred dollars a month.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_00]: They think the value is more than that, right?
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: But they say, coach, you blessed our life in such a way.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_00]: We just want to say thank you.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for being open to us for allowing us to create the $100 tier on your behalf.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_00]: My service is only $10 for the Patreon.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: That's them.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_00]: So that taught me something like, man, when you really make it about others, God will give you back everything every turn.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't got to try to charge people to arm an elect.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_00]: They were willing to pay a hurt.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_00]: And they feel like that ain't enough.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: And so I said, y'all, I'm a keeper at this man.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_00]: The last thing I need is somebody going online saying, I'm taxing people when I ain't in it for the money.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in it for the transformation that I know I can provide.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_00]: And as a result,
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: I've been blessed monetarily.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: And so, yeah, and I just wanted to make sure that people understand the pricing power and how to properly assess how much to charge.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I know, like you can say this as an athlete, I'll give you this.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_00]: You play ball all the time.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_00]: LeBron to this day still knows his bread and butter is basketball.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: I still know my bread and butter is talking to the people.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my thousand percent never let myself get to be to go one to many.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, I keep it that and what I notice is when I'm out in public, even I got more at the airport.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's not an airport to that.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, saying,
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: You can't replace the real individual impact you had on people when they could say they call you.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: They talked to your, you talked to their kids.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_00]: They, you talked to their whole family.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying it.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: So that, that's something that's near and dear to me.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_01]: I love that.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_02]: And it's funny because, um, or, or it, look, it's, I'm, we, look, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm giving free coaching sessions.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_02]: Forget, forget the interview.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: We're not.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_02]: Um.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_02]: Because one of the things that, and it's funny, because like, you know, we talk about, you know, how, you know, you know, our financial business kind of, you know, grew exponentially during, you know, it's the same.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: We showed the same time period, you know, 2020, 2021 and onward.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_02]: But funny enough, more people knew who I was because of my podcast, my show and things in that nature.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_02]: But more people appreciate me because a lot of people don't know that during COVID, I would go live every day, Monday through Friday on Instagram.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_02]: And I knew that I called the Askcast Show.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, pretty much doing affirmations.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: you know, talking about, you know, you know, finances and things of that nature, but more people will come to me for that than they would for, you know, you know, like on podcast or whatever, but one of the reasons why I stopped it though was because as my podcast grew,
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: uh, and I was around other, you know, seven figure eight figure earners, um, they were telling me, right, that I was wasting my time doing the live because I didn't have my, my, the numbers weren't at enough.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: I had more numbers on my YouTube than I had on the live, but doing both was kind of exhausting or whatever.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: And so my peers, um, and it's not a blame.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_02]: And
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, the truth of the matter is that I listened to my peers, and I made more money than I've made in my life.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_02]: And like, you know, I made, you know, a thing is, you know, in that period of time.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: But at the same time, though, I didn't feel as fulfilled, then as I was just in my office, there you go.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_02]: Talk it to the teacher.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: If somebody's watching that, you know, you're talking to me, but I got to make it seem like it's for both them.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_02]: Cause I know somebody watching that has the same issue.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_02]: If somebody, you know, there's somebody right now that has a passion, that love, but the passion might not be paying the bills.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_02]: And there's something else that they got to skill that could make a lot of money.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_02]: How do you pick and choose?
- 42:16[SPEAKER_02]: How do you stay true to your essence?
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: How do you not listen in his other thing, right?
- 42:23[SPEAKER_02]: to not your peers that are doing worse to you, right?
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just doing better than that, like how do you, you know?
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: I will say this, God will always put you in perfect position in alignment.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'll give you this example to make your point.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm highly educated.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: I have a master's degree.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a cognitive behavior therapists.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: some could say nothing I do now in my financial education life has nothing to do with me being a cognitive behavioral therapist.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: When I was in that bag, I changed the face of therapy.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_00]: I remember bringing a different swag to the therapy space, credentialed, educated, all of that.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'll say this, it all came full circle.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: I noticed when I was doing a coaching call, I said, hmm,
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be God dang.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: This field real similar to the theory.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: He will make it in a line, you don't even know it, but to your point that you also make, you do have to do the thing that makes the money so that it can support the thing you're most passionate about.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: That may not be paying as much.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_00]: And so in my case, back to being an alignment with God, but also being vertically integrated.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: My one-on-one coaching is just an extension of me being in my therapy.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's good for sure.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's just I'm talking about instead of bipolar and depression or that meant to help.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about financial literacy.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about I'm talking about these things that can change your and transform your finance to that your wealth.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: And so for me it's that I said oh man this don't feel
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: like too much of nothing at all, right?
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm still in my pocket.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm still on key.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's how I would say that.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: What you're doing as a passionate might not be paying.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_00]: There's some way, if you pray long enough and hard enough, or you will see.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: how the stars can align for you to do something that pay more.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, no, I love that.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_02]: I love that.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_02]: And that's been advice because again, you know, a lot of our viewers are people who, you know, my, my have notifies my have side hustles and trying to figure things out.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's,
- 44:39[SPEAKER_02]: majority of the issue, right, is like that nine or five is paying the bills, but that passion, right?
- 44:46[SPEAKER_02]: So it's what they're trying to, you know, trying to get into.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: So the goal is to, you know, get to that point where where the passion and the bills sort of like align.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_02]: you know, as far as like investing and kind of get into that space of abundance, if you will, financially, if somebody does have a non-defined and they, you know, they might be contributing to that, to their 401k or whatever the case may be, what's your advice to them?
- 45:17[SPEAKER_02]: Do they start the business first?
- 45:19[SPEAKER_02]: Do they start investing first?
- 45:20[SPEAKER_02]: How do they start putting money aside so that they can invest?
- 45:23[SPEAKER_00]: And what should they invest in?
- 45:25[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_00]: Number one, if you have the 95,
- 45:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you this.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_00]: Don't despise your 95.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: Your 95 as well as mine was my first investor.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: It gave me the funds to even put my first dollar into my brokerage account.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: But number two, you should ask the question, should you invest first or should you say first, or build a business first?
- 45:49[SPEAKER_00]: I had a two-prong approach.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: I actually did both, but here's the catch.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_00]: I invested while building my dream.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_00]: So because I was getting out of debt at the time because I was working a nine to five don't despise it and brace it.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't invest as much as I want to.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: So for example, if I had a thousand dollars to invest or build with two, 50 might have went to my investments.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_00]: The other 750 went to bills, pan off dad or building my business.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_00]: But once I got out of debt, that 250 number was able to be increased.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_00]: So now I'm investing more, but at least I, not starting from zero.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_00]: I was putting what I could.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_00]: I was putting the trees and fuses in when I could, even though it wasn't much.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_00]: A little was better than nothing.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: So then, once I knocked off the piece of that that I knocked out, once I was able to free up some cash, then I said, oh man, now I don't say the 250, I'm at 500, I'm able to put a 500 away, and then it becomes a psychological thing when you see that number, it's something about when a man sees numbers.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and I got O-C-B in this kind of way.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_00]: If I got $8,000, I'm looking, let me go find something to get this other $2,000 so I can get to team.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: I ain't going much just let it sit at $8,000.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: Let me find another $2,000.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_00]: Let me do a side hustle pick up another part time job to get it to $10,000.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I think if you can begin to do that, and so then what should you invest in, I would say,
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: A ETF exchange traded from something like the QQQ, for instance, a basket of stocks that holds the top and largest tech stocks will be a good place to start.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: If you've started and you see this video today, something better than the QQQ might be to SMS, the semiconductor's ETF.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, where now you're here and all the stuff about chips and AI, well, these houses are in videos.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_00]: These houses are microns.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: These houses are all of those stocks that is going parabolic.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_00]: But it's to say for what to do, it versus you trying to pick one, you're able to pick the basket and what I call the all star team of them all.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's what I would tell you to start.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then don't think that you got to have a lot to start.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: I always
- 48:12[SPEAKER_00]: People in our community are deterred oftentimes thinking you have to have so much money to get started Yeah, I'm not saying 250 is a lot over little I'm just saying I started with what I had and I would encourage you to do the same because we now have at the lower level You have fractional shares you could buy on these halves now these rubble advisors and he apps have fractional shares you can now buy and so if you can't buy the $300 version of Google put 50 dollars in it
- 48:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you still get you still on Google you just own 50 50 dollars worth versus 300 dollars, which is a full share Yeah, and so if Google go up and doubles your 50 dollars still going double.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's still better than you doing nothing And so I would say start in that manner.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, no, I love it.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_02]: How do you how do you Stop yourself From comparing to what other people are doing how do you staying in like man?
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: I've always been a person that
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: ran my race in my own pace.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_00]: So standing in my lane or not competing with others was easy for me to do what I do do well is I cheer for others though.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_00]: I grew others on.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_00]: I big up others.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: I pay homage to others.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have us.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_00]: insecure spirit.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the spirit of of of of lack or more of feeling like, no, I have an abundance, my set.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: Ash winning has nothing to do with me winning for sure.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying somebody else winning has nothing to do with me winning or whatever guy has for me.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_00]: And so I don't really get off into having to deal with that as much because my my my glass is
- 49:51[SPEAKER_00]: rooting for you.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_00]: Matter of fact, I'm my root for you harder than I root for myself and I'm saying because I'm just, I'm gonna do, I don't celebrate my birthday, but I turn up for yours.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 50:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm that guy and so because I'm keenly aware who I am, how I'm wired, how I'm built.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't get caught up.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm able to stay that off.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_00]: I have enough emotional intelligence, emotional maturity to not fall to that.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and so it keeps me grounded and anchored in humility in that way.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_02]: And I love it.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: When you think about, um, I do want to talk about the show, right?
- 50:28[SPEAKER_02]: So you do have your your show, uh, live for the New York Stock Exchange.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll talk about talk about that a little bit.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: So Netflix.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: You've seen them scoop up breakfast clubs.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: You've seen more and more private equity firms or just bigger media entity scoop up content creators.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I was getting busy on YouTube for the past six years during the numbers you talked about in your intro.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_00]: And Wall Street hit me up on a similar tip and I'm saying, hey, long story short.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: Chris, we love what you're doing.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: We see what you built.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_00]: Here's a lesson in this.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: You never know who's paying attention to you and who's watching.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I definitely didn't know I was on their radar, but I did know what I was doing was life changing.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: So they said simply put, can you bring your YouTube show live to New York Stock Exchange?
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: They said it's never been done before.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody has a YouTube show that they shoot live each day at the stock exchange and get to talk to the CEOs and interview the founders and CEOs of these companies.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's all.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: I said, you know what?
- 51:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a man of many first.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: I too like how that sound.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_00]: I like to look at that.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think that will be inspiring and the thing they did that I loved.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_00]: The money is good.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: The money is really good.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very impressed with how much they pay me to do one episode every time I come Yeah, but I'm also impressed with they gave me the autonomy to bring you on.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_00]: So now I can't say hey Ash any time you plan on being in New York
- 51:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you got it in time bro, swing by the New York Stock Exchange, so me and you can sit down and do this, we instead of inside the vault mean you can do this there for sure so I have the autonomy to bring on since I'm in New York I'm going to try to get Steven A Smith I have a list of people that I'll try to bring in so because I see that I'm on the floor now right ain't no me and you right
- 52:20[SPEAKER_00]: There is nobody that self-made God made that look like me so it's all of them when I'm in there but I feel good because I didn't get here by no other way of my own merit.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't get here having to sell my soul.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_00]: I got here off of what I built that they seen.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_00]: So I came in not having to announce myself but my reputation already preceded me.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I love that feeling when I'm walking through
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: Live on the floor, but I'm also loving to be able to bring you there so they can see more of us and they can see all They out here.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sure.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_00]: We just laid to them.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, these brothers are out here.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's what I'm more excited about the ability and the capacity to To bring others along because like I told you on your last question.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have the spirit of Up is all about me.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm learning like you know what
- 53:16[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm going to eat my guys going to eat too, if I can share the platform, but others that's doing awesome things in their own right, yeah, I'm going to do that too.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_00]: And so the nod of the lore has blessed me with this platform as well as this opportunity, I'm going to try to use it as such.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure, for sure.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_02]: When you look at,
- 53:34[SPEAKER_02]: uh the future of uh you know Chris saying and and everything that you're doing you know with the quiet wealth community and all the things that you got going on um what's the what's the vision for the next five that 10 years?
- 53:48[SPEAKER_00]: The next five that 10 years would be I think I'm one of the adventure into TV and film.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_00]: behind the scenes more being in curate stories like nobody has told your story.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't seen the ash cash character depicted on TV, sitcom, reality or a movie.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_00]: If I can't infiltrate that game and disrupt the media and movie industry like I did the stock market, I believe we can tell better stories more compelling stories.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_00]: I see that Denzel for is my favorite actor is getting old.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_00]: Will Smith be getting up there?
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: we haven't did enough to build up the next generation.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see who's next.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_00]: Michael B. Jordan is cool, but I don't see the next that person.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm looking like man.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if we kick begin to raise up other individuals, at least through storytelling, because Ash believe it or not, man, those of us.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_00]: with a platform, we are going to be the new distribution channels.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: I oftentimes, I remember like, man, it was cool that Forbes covered me.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_00]: It was cool that Yahoo Finance covered what I do, but I'm slowly, but surely becoming bigger than them.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_00]: I had more reach than them.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm not even looking to them as much.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I can see five to ten years.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_00]: And like you act, it might be me.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_00]: platforming individuals.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_00]: It might be you or somebody pitching to have their show, distributed all to my YouTube channel through my audience that's already prom the ready soon.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting ready.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_00]: And that's another thing I want to say to your audience really quick, the thing that most people, especially business partnerships and brand collaborations
- 55:36[SPEAKER_00]: to ask Cashish point.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_00]: They're already primed already.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: And what that does in business, when you get behind a product, the companies called me personally and say this, Chris, we have never seen.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_00]: this many people sign up.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_00]: We can't hire Kim Kardashian.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: We can get a celebrity.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_00]: But when you build a real organic, following in community, and they really are not boxed.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_00]: They're not fake people.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_00]: And they really spend and buy corporations see that too and like,
- 56:09[SPEAKER_00]: We need it.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_00]: We need to do more with you because we got the ROI on what little you charge does.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_00]: Or for what we were able to do on our end and return.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: So that comes full circle with where things will be headed five to ten years from now.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I love that.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_02]: I love that.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: Where you are right now, all of the success that you've had, all of the success you've helped others have.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_02]: If you could go back to 18-year-old Chris, what advice are you giving him?
- 56:38[SPEAKER_00]: I would say trust the process.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_00]: The things you're going through at 18, you didn't know it then, but God was preparing you for it today.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_00]: I remember at 18, a few things.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: I was asleep back then.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to Michigan State to play football.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't do so well on the ACT and had to walk on.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember that one little thing changed its trajectory on my athletic career.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_01]: I went for being a superstar to being that, that just a guy, that was person.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't get the red cover treatment I would often say, and I remember like, hey.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_01]: This is making it really hard for me to get to the NFL.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: This is making it really hard for me to reach the dreams and both I have for myself.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_01]: But that I said, I have plans for your life.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_01]: The little dreams of those you got, I got something much bigger.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_01]: And my 18 year old self didn't fully see it, even though one thing I did do, my day used to always say, stay in line, eventually your terrible con.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_01]: I stayed in line at 18, you know, I didn't see the bisman.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I kept going to class.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_01]: going to class.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_01]: I earn a degree.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_01]: I earn a degree.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: I will able to get a decent pen job.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_01]: In a decent pen job.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: But then you talk about I was able to figure out my next.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_01]: My next end up being what you see me doing the day, but at 18, I didn't fully see it.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_01]: Now that I see the pitch.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_01]: I say, God, I'm a huge player.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_01]: By the fact that you played for any team like everything I went through with 18, it was building me, shaking me and preparing me.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for all of that, I would go through today, but I'm already fully equipped and prepared for it.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what I'll send to my AT&T and see what's up.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_01]: Trust the process.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_01]: better ways are coming.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I have no idea.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I love that.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_02]: There's something that I kind of like see like a parallel if you will right when I when I think about your discipline, if you will your daily discipline, you know, you, you know, you have a routine, you talk about, you know, 18 year old self, you know, follow the process, talk about the role that
- 58:44[SPEAKER_02]: discipline takes to be successful, whether it's in your business, whether it's in trading, whether it's in your marriage, like, like, I just see that parallel in everything.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_00]: You're the second person that said that it would, that out, and I will say, I agree that, um,
- 59:03[SPEAKER_01]: my discipline couple with consistency is how I arrived.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_01]: Meaning I don't have to be motivated to stay the course.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just know it's part of what I need to do but I must do.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_01]: I talked to you about recording YouTube videos seven days of me.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_01]: I want to, I'm busy with everybody else.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_01]: I pride myself on being consistent.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_01]: The payoff to be in both this planning consistent is that you eventually get the result no matter what.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_01]: Because the people that might have been a friend of you, they might have followed.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_01]: They might have slowed down.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_01]: But you're being slow and safe, and the turtle is the one it always is the race.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so that discipline, I always say, I'm not better than anybody.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm more consistent than everybody.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm able to just, again,
- 59:52[SPEAKER_01]: commit to what I'm doing and wrong after the motivation that got me to do it has let I stay locked in I stayed you know what I told myself for example when I started YouTube I had zero subscribers the goal was to create 10 videos to improve my voice I'm an introvert by nature that you'll get where my shyness
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: By the time I got to 10 videos, I had gained 100 subscribers.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I said, you know what?
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_01]: I did the team and they check it out.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's being disciplined.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's damn true to my work.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_01]: I said, I'm gonna do 25 videos.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_01]: We'll over video 11 to 25, I end up getting a thousand subscribers and 4,000.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a lot of times, now you've been on it.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_01]: I saw that.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now I see some little things coming.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_01]: Now that my mindset shift you like, oh,
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_01]: You can get paid for this.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_01]: I was just wasn't a bill my only ecosystem do my coaching do my thing, but now YouTube can pay too.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_01]: And it was history from there and I make a 200,000, the first year, really a sense then.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so discipline and consistency with the rule of the world.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I love that.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_02]: I love that.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_02]: Is there anything that I did not ask you on this interview or a piece of advice that you want to leave with without insiders?
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say this.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'll talk about the black text a lot.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of first generation millionaires, a lot of us, them touch seven and eight figures for the first time in our family.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_00]: And Floyd made weather going through, what other athletes have went through, there's something that we must be mindful of as black men that's coming into well for the first time.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: And it's the black tax.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_00]: And it's oftentimes rooted in people around you,
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_00]: feelings of ungratefulness, of entitlement, of thinking you owe them, and you having survivors guilt because you're the one that made it.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_00]: And before you can set your ducks up in a row, you have dowed out money and showed out money that now you can't sustain yourself.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_00]: If we can avoid the black tax, you're not going to be able to do that.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_00]: and learn to put better systems in place to support your family or put mechanisms in place to employ your family.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_00]: It will help you preserve your wealth in a long run.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_00]: Whether that's setting up your family office, whether that's setting up and having the right financial team of advisors around you to make sure your investments is on point.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_00]: Your real estate is on point.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_00]: Your trust and the states are on point.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_00]: These are things that we can better do to protect our wealth, preserve our wealth.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_00]: and grow well.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's the message I want to make sure that we least add to this conversation.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_02]: Now I appreciate you, brother.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you got what, like what, what, what, what, what you working on anything coming up talk to us.
