Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York marximone, you're the Bestor we'll get to
- 0:06Speaker 1: the mayoral race in just a second, and we'll get
- 0:11Speaker 1: to the World Series and Curtis will be with us.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Curtis Lee, well, we'll join us a little later this hour.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We'll see what he's feeling like. On the final day.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It is the final day before the election. There's no
- 0:23Speaker 2: early voting today. Yesterday was the last day. Yeah, yesterday
- 0:30Speaker 2: was the last day. Seven hundred and thirty five thousand
- 0:33Speaker 2: early votes. That's like six times normal. That is through
- 0:36Speaker 2: the roof. It's huge. It's expected that we'll get over
- 0:40Speaker 2: two million voters in this election after election day tomorrow.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Normally we could end up with three four hundred thousand
- 0:47Speaker 2: five So this is big, very very very big. Turnout
- 0:51Speaker 2: is huge. Cuomo is doing better than before he has searched,
- 0:55Speaker 2: but Curtis is also surging. We've seen that, so they're
- 0:58Speaker 2: both surching. Cuomo, will you still got to blame him
- 1:02Speaker 2: for this mess. There was a Democratic primary. Mom Donnie
- 1:05Speaker 2: was at zero a you know, a weird extremist candidate
- 1:10Speaker 2: that remember, there was a whole bunch of people in
- 1:12Speaker 2: that Democratic primary. Cuomo scared Eric Adams out of it.
- 1:16Speaker 2: So Eric Adams didn't enter that Democratic primary, and who
- 1:19Speaker 2: knows he might have won. Cuomo scared him out of it.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Remember Cuomo before the primary began, scared to a lot
- 1:26Speaker 2: of people with his big name recognition and his billions
- 1:29Speaker 2: and billionaire donors, and everybody's afraid to go up here.
- 1:33Speaker 2: So Cuomo enters the Democratic primary and is a disaster,
- 1:37Speaker 2: a disaster, hardly campaign no rallies, no anything, no campaigning.
- 1:42Speaker 2: In the debates, he was a complete disaster. He got
- 1:45Speaker 2: wiped out by Mam Donni in the first debate, second debate,
- 1:48Speaker 2: got beaten up even more. It was a disaster. So
- 1:51Speaker 2: he lost the primary. And he was so bad in
- 1:54Speaker 2: those debates, and Mam Donni just used him as a
- 1:56Speaker 2: punching bag and it really helped Mam Donnie take off.
- 1:59Speaker 2: He ended up slaughtering Cuomo in the final vote. Had
- 2:02Speaker 2: nothing to do with rank choice voting, just slaughtered him
- 2:05Speaker 2: in that final vote. So that's how we end up
- 2:07Speaker 2: with Mom Donnie. Then Cuomo goes on to some third
- 2:11Speaker 2: party ballot and tries to tries to come back, and
- 2:13Speaker 2: he's done well, he's done better, He's been a much
- 2:15Speaker 2: better campaigner. He was rotten in the first debate, but
- 2:18Speaker 2: in that last general election mayoral debate, he was pretty good.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Curtis won the debate easily on issues on content, but
- 2:27Speaker 2: Cuomo suddenly had energy, suddenly had a little fire. A
- 2:30Speaker 2: lot of people think they injected him with one of
- 2:32Speaker 2: those Joe Biden wake up drugs, wake up injections. So
- 2:38Speaker 2: and they've all been campaigning like crazy. Cuomo still hasn't
- 2:41Speaker 2: opened a campaign office, but okay, but he's been out there.
- 2:44Speaker 2: He's been out there campaigning all weekend.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Three buses, Yeah, that sounds great. He doesn't run the buses.
- 2:50Speaker 3: The state runs the buses. And the state said that
- 2:53Speaker 3: that's not going to happen. Universal childcare because the state's
- 2:58Speaker 3: going to tax all the corporations, but all the money
- 3:00Speaker 3: goes to New York City. That's never going to happen.
- 3:04Speaker 3: None of it will happen. It's just this socialist talk.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Everything free, everything free.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I promise we all know this already. Obviously
- 3:14Speaker 2: already knows this.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I believe President Trump is from New York. I think
- 3:18Speaker 3: he cares about New York. He has friends in New York,
- 3:20Speaker 3: he has a lot of connections in New York, and
- 3:23Speaker 3: I think he would be open to a cooperative path
- 3:29Speaker 3: that is doing good things in New York in cooperation
- 3:32Speaker 3: with the federal government.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I think you would like to see New York better.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I believe that. Yeah. Now, behind the scenes, President Trump
- 3:40Speaker 2: has been working day and night to get Curtis out
- 3:44Speaker 2: of the race. It's a little late for that. I
- 3:47Speaker 2: don't agree with him on that, but that's what he's
- 3:49Speaker 2: been trying to do. He's been trying to help Cuomo.
- 3:52Speaker 2: He thinks Cuomo is the only one that can win.
- 3:55Speaker 2: There are a lot of people that think that. But
- 3:57Speaker 2: he's been working like crazy to get to sleep. It's
- 4:00Speaker 2: not going to happen. Curtis is not a quitter, never
- 4:02Speaker 2: has been, never will be. Here's more of Cuomo.
- 4:05Speaker 3: President Trump said, Curtis Lewa is not ready for prime time,
- 4:10Speaker 3: and he's not ready for prime time. He's led this
- 4:14Speaker 3: group called the Guardian Angels for years, but he has
- 4:17Speaker 3: no managerial experience, no government experience, and he's basically defrauded
- 4:25Speaker 3: New Yorkers in the past. So he's not ready for
- 4:28Speaker 3: prime time and he is a spoiler in the race.
- 4:32Speaker 3: The only thing he can do is make Mam Donnie
- 4:35Speaker 3: a winner, because any vote for Curtis is a vote
- 4:39Speaker 3: for Mandani.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yeah, now you've got to put a lot of asterisk
- 4:42Speaker 2: on it. He never defrauded New York. I think he's
- 4:44Speaker 2: referring to something he did a publicity stunt once turned
- 4:47Speaker 2: out out to be true. But you talked about defrauding
- 4:49Speaker 2: New York. I think Cuomo did have to leave office
- 4:52Speaker 2: in disgrace. He was under investigation by the Ethics Committee
- 4:55Speaker 2: as well for that sleazy book deal. And and a spoiler.
- 5:01Speaker 2: You can't be a spoiler if you're a major party candidate. Remember,
- 5:05Speaker 2: Curtis is the Republican nominee, Mam, Donnie is the Democratic nominee.
- 5:09Speaker 2: It was Cuomo who could not get a major party
- 5:13Speaker 2: you win. He lost the primary. Democrats rejected him in
- 5:17Speaker 2: the primary. So let's see. Here's more a Cuomo.
- 5:20Speaker 3: He thinks Mandami, who he goes a communist, would be
- 5:24Speaker 3: horrendous for New York.
- 5:26Speaker 2: By the way, I agree.
- 5:28Speaker 3: And this is the far left of the Democratic Party,
- 5:32Speaker 3: the socialist wing of the Democratic Party's trying.
- 5:35Speaker 2: To take over New York City kind of the problem.
- 5:38Speaker 2: He over explains everything to you. Cuomo talks to you
- 5:43Speaker 2: like you're the one that's stupid. And he talks too slow,
- 5:46Speaker 2: and he over explains, and now Curtis is still telling
- 5:51Speaker 2: him to drop out. You can't. I'll ask him, He'll
- 5:53Speaker 2: Kurs will be with a few minutes. He couldn't drop
- 5:55Speaker 2: out if he wanted to. You can't drop out. You
- 5:58Speaker 2: can't get your name off the ballot. You can't. We'll
- 6:00Speaker 2: ask him when he's here. But he's I've known Curtis
- 6:03Speaker 2: for a million years. This guy never quit anything in
- 6:06Speaker 2: his life.
- 6:06Speaker 4: They're all trying to get me out of this race.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I guess what.
- 6:09Speaker 5: I'm in it to win it.
- 6:10Speaker 4: I'm the only Republican, the law and order candidate. I'm
- 6:13Speaker 4: Rudy Giuliani two point zero.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Whoa.
- 6:16Speaker 2: He can say that because Rudy Giuliani is endorsing him
- 6:19Speaker 2: and is said one thousand percent behind him.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Jorhan Mandami haho.
- 6:24Speaker 2: He's very affable.
- 6:25Speaker 4: It's like that song remember Shad Day nineteen eighty four,
- 6:28Speaker 4: Smooth Operator.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I always think of Barack Obama the Prince of the
- 6:32Speaker 4: smooth Operator.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 6:34Speaker 4: And on the jvh Madami amen ah. When he lies, Yeah,
- 6:40Speaker 4: noos doesn't get bigger.
- 6:41Speaker 5: He smile gets larger.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta admit, Curtis is the best on the
- 6:46Speaker 2: campaign trail. And he's right. Mamdani is an Obama. Obama
- 6:50Speaker 2: was the same kind of thing. Not a communist, but
- 6:52Speaker 2: Obama was a guy with no resume, never had a
- 6:55Speaker 2: real job in his life, community organized or whatever the
- 6:58Speaker 2: hell that was. But never had a real job, just
- 7:01Speaker 2: a very brief career in the legislature and all of
- 7:04Speaker 2: a sudden running for the biggest management management job in
- 7:06Speaker 2: the world. But he did it with a smile and
- 7:08Speaker 2: style and being very articulate and smooth talking. He's the
- 7:13Speaker 2: socialist Obama.
- 7:15Speaker 4: If you're on the thirty in Europe, female.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Ah, now, this is him on Cuomo Curtis.
- 7:19Speaker 4: If you're on the thirty in eure A female, he's flirty.
- 7:23Speaker 4: If you're over sixty five, he could end up killing
- 7:26Speaker 4: you in a long term nursing home.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Jacobs home, man, you're.
- 7:29Speaker 4: Only safe if you're between dirty and sixty five.
- 7:33Speaker 6: A multiply handy andy, handsy.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Andy, Yeah, pretty good, pretty good. Let me see if
- 7:39Speaker 2: there's any more here. Now, we'll ask Curtis. He'll be
- 7:42Speaker 2: here later this hour. These billionaires are all calling him
- 7:45Speaker 2: trying to get him out of the race. They're all
- 7:47Speaker 2: trying to bribe, and they're offering money, jobs, they're all anything.
- 7:50Speaker 2: They're trying to bribe. My listen to Curtis.
- 7:52Speaker 4: I'm told him what you're doing is that that the
- 7:58Speaker 4: it's bribery and it might be illegal. And the next
- 8:03Speaker 4: time you talk to me, I'll be winded up like
- 8:06Speaker 4: a Christmas Street.
- 8:10Speaker 2: More forma. Let me see.
- 8:11Speaker 3: I will build affordable hundreds of thousands of units of
- 8:16Speaker 3: affordable housing. I did it as HUT secretary all across
- 8:20Speaker 3: the nation. And that's how you're going to get the
- 8:22Speaker 3: rent down by increasing the supply. I will hire five
- 8:26Speaker 3: thousand police officers and make New York City safer, and
- 8:30Speaker 3: put fifteen hundred on the subways and make the subways safer.
- 8:35Speaker 2: All right, lots of promises, lots of promises, but he
- 8:39Speaker 2: certainly didn't do all that stuff as governor. But hey,
- 8:42Speaker 2: very important thing. We have listeners all over the Tri
- 8:44Speaker 2: state area. If you're in Westchester, everybody's got to get
- 8:47Speaker 2: out and vote tomorrow. It's not just the mayoral race,
- 8:49Speaker 2: but you got to get out and vote. Very important.
- 8:51Speaker 2: If you're in Manhattan, get rid of the district attorney
- 8:54Speaker 2: Alvin Bragg. Vote for maud Marin the Republican she'll put
- 8:58Speaker 2: people in jail one unlike Alvin Bragg. So very important.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Get rid of Alvin Bragg. Vote for maud Marin great
- 9:06Speaker 2: strong law enforcement DA candidate that's in Manhattan. Wherever you
- 9:12Speaker 2: are in New York City, get rid of your city
- 9:14Speaker 2: council crazy left loons. Now, if you want to protect
- 9:16Speaker 2: yourself against Mom Donnie, this is what you got to do.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Get as many Republicans as you can in the city council.
- 9:21Speaker 2: And if you live in Westchester, you're going to have
- 9:24Speaker 2: to protect against Mom Donnie. So make sure you vote
- 9:26Speaker 2: for the Republican candidate tomorrow for county executive. I forget
- 9:32Speaker 2: her name, is it her? I think not sure? Well whoever,
- 9:36Speaker 2: it doesn't matter who it is. Just pull the Republican
- 9:38Speaker 2: lever in Westchester County. Get yourself a Republican county executive
- 9:43Speaker 2: tomorrow in Westchester. Now, if you're in Nassau County, Bruce
- 9:46Speaker 2: Blakeman is the best county executive in America. Everybody loves him,
- 9:50Speaker 2: but he's still up for reelection, So make sure you
- 9:52Speaker 2: get out there and vote for him. There's been early
- 9:55Speaker 2: voting in Nassau County, they say heavy, heavy Republican turnout
- 10:00Speaker 2: has been going on. But just to be sure, get
- 10:02Speaker 2: out there and vote for Bruce Blakeman tomorrow Nassau County Executive.
- 10:06Speaker 2: If you're in New Jersey, of course, vote for Jack Chittarelli,
- 10:11Speaker 2: who's it's very close in the polls, very good. Christine
- 10:16Speaker 2: Scalti is the one running in Westchester for County Executive,
- 10:20Speaker 2: Christine scalty make sure you vote for her may Vote
- 10:23Speaker 2: for Chittarelly in New Jersey tomorrow. Connecticut, I don't know
- 10:27Speaker 2: to tell you who's the Oh, Greenwich, Connecticut seems to
- 10:30Speaker 2: be the suburb everybody's going to flee to. There's a
- 10:34Speaker 2: report now that prices in Greenwich, Connecticut, that's the closest
- 10:38Speaker 2: and nicest town in Connecticut. Prices are going crazy. Inventory
- 10:42Speaker 2: is down to practically nothing. But you got the best
- 10:45Speaker 2: mayor you've ever had there, Fred Camillo. He's the Republican.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Make sure you reelect him tomorrow. Vote for Fred Camillo,
- 10:51Speaker 2: very popular, he's been two terms already, great great mayor
- 10:56Speaker 2: there Fred Camillo. Well else, Yes, council is important. Changed
- 11:01Speaker 2: that city council because believe it or not. City council
- 11:04Speaker 2: actually has more power to do things in New York
- 11:06Speaker 2: than the mayor does. Curtis not getting out of the race.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Stop with that. As we mentioned before, the mob tried
- 11:14Speaker 2: to stop him. They sent like four guys with baseball
- 11:17Speaker 2: bats who beat him to a pulp. That didn't stop him.
- 11:19Speaker 2: He kept attacking. They got him in the back of
- 11:23Speaker 2: a cab, shot him five times. From his hospital, Betty
- 11:25Speaker 2: kept attacking him. That was quite an instant. In fact,
- 11:30Speaker 2: we all used to work at the other place back then,
- 11:32Speaker 2: Rush Shawn me, everybody. Curtis got shot five times. It
- 11:37Speaker 2: was just like in The Godfather, Remember where Salatso says
- 11:41Speaker 2: five bullets, the guy's still alive. Well, that was Curtis.
- 11:44Speaker 2: The next day Rush bought Curtis and Suv said, don't
- 11:48Speaker 2: get in any more cabs, use this car. I remember
- 11:52Speaker 2: I used to It was remembers Curtis and Kobe. They
- 11:55Speaker 2: were the number one morning show for you, and of
- 12:00Speaker 2: course big, big, big, big morning show for twenty years.
- 12:03Speaker 2: But I used to fill in a lot, and I
- 12:05Speaker 2: remember it. Right after he was shot, it'd be me
- 12:07Speaker 2: and Curtis in the studio with twelve detectives. Right after
- 12:12Speaker 2: the shooting, surrounded by detectives around the clock, because apparently
- 12:15Speaker 2: the mob was still out to get them. If that
- 12:17Speaker 2: didn't get them to stop. I don't think a few
- 12:20Speaker 2: billionaires with their bribes is going to do any good.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Marathon yesterday, New York Marathon. This is called the Kenya Marathon.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Nobody in New York's going to win this marathon. Nobody
- 12:30Speaker 2: in New York's going to even come close. Now today,
- 12:34Speaker 2: walking to work, all over the street are these people
- 12:39Speaker 2: with the medals on. The marathon medals. Apparently they're all
- 12:42Speaker 2: staying in this neighborhood around the station, all the hotels,
- 12:46Speaker 2: this is where they are, and they walk around with
- 12:48Speaker 2: the medals on. You know, it's like these people that
- 12:51Speaker 2: won't take the ski lift tickets off the jacket. They've
- 12:55Speaker 2: got all the ski lift tags there, so you're supposed
- 12:57Speaker 2: to see that. They're excued, so you're supposed to see them.
- 13:02Speaker 2: One year, somebody came to work with the marathon medal.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Everybody was so crist so I went on eBay. I
- 13:08Speaker 2: bought like six marathon medals from previous years. I just
- 13:11Speaker 2: put them all on and came in with that on.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Although I got to admit I saw these medals on
- 13:15Speaker 2: people today. It's the best looking marathon medal I've ever seen.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I mean, just this jewelry. It's beautiful. Hey, Barack Obama
- 13:22Speaker 2: was in New Jersey campaigning for Mikey Cheryl and he
- 13:26Speaker 2: started going after Trump and he started attacking the ballroom
- 13:30Speaker 2: that Trump is building on the East Wing. You've seen
- 13:34Speaker 2: the pictures of the drawings. The ballroom is going to
- 13:38Speaker 2: be magnificent, one of the most beautiful ballrooms ever built. It's
- 13:41Speaker 2: absolutely spectacular, and there was Obama attacking it. A lot
- 13:45Speaker 2: of people thought that was really crazy, since he is
- 13:48Speaker 2: currently building what is considered to be the single ugliest
- 13:51Speaker 2: building ever built in America. Go take a look at
- 13:55Speaker 2: my Twitter if you want to see it. It's up.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Pictures are up there on Twitter. It's the it's his
- 14:00Speaker 2: presidential library. It is the most hideous, ugly building everybody's
- 14:04Speaker 2: ever seen. People think that the pictures are a joke.
- 14:08Speaker 2: This is actually his presidential library. It's a big, ugly, enormous,
- 14:12Speaker 2: like five story slab of concrete. It looks like a
- 14:15Speaker 2: big tombstone. It says gray, ugly cement. It's the ugliest
- 14:20Speaker 2: building you've ever seen. And he probably should be investigated
- 14:24Speaker 2: and arrested for what he's doing because they raised eight
- 14:28Speaker 2: hundred and fifty million and they've spent it and now
- 14:31Speaker 2: it's they're having overruns. If you look at this building,
- 14:35Speaker 2: if I told you this building costs a million dollars,
- 14:37Speaker 2: you'd think I was insane. He's supposedly spent eight hundred
- 14:40Speaker 2: and fifty million on this hideous, ridiculous looking building that's
- 14:45Speaker 2: disgusting looking, and he has the nerve to criticize the
- 14:49Speaker 2: ballroom unbelievable. So uh oh, World Series. That was quite
- 14:54Speaker 2: a game. Actually, I don't really care about Dodgers. Well,
- 14:57Speaker 2: I guess I like the Dodgers. I don't really care
- 14:59Speaker 2: about but the Toronto Blue Jays, although they seem to
- 15:04Speaker 2: have more American players on the Blue Jays than on
- 15:07Speaker 2: the Dodgers. But it was quite an ending, quite a
- 15:10Speaker 2: final game. Here's the final call double play end of
- 15:13Speaker 2: the game.
- 15:14Speaker 6: Eddio two swinging a broken bat roller out to short
- 15:17Speaker 6: that's up with it steps out second on the first
- 15:20Speaker 6: and it's a double play and the Dodgers have won it.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Here in eleven.
- 15:26Speaker 6: The Dodgers turned the double play and finish off the
- 15:30Speaker 6: Jays five for the final. The Dodgers repeat champions for
- 15:36Speaker 6: the first time in baseball in twenty five years.
- 15:41Speaker 2: No, of course it's Los Angeles. The Dodgers won, so
- 15:45Speaker 2: naturally in Los Angeles, everybody's out in the street rioting
- 15:47Speaker 2: cops that a used tear gas. Tea will totally I
- 15:52Speaker 2: control fires, looting every that's Los Angeles. Hey, Curtis will
- 15:55Speaker 2: be with us in a few minutes. We'll talk to
- 15:57Speaker 2: Curtis lee Win. A few minutes, we'll take some calls.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Next hundred three two one zero seven ten is the
- 16:03Speaker 2: number eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten
- 16:07Speaker 2: the Marks Simone show on seven to ten.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Woo.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Hey, Curtis will be with us in a few minutes.
- 16:15Speaker 2: But first, let's take some calls. Let's go to sal
- 16:18Speaker 2: in Brooklyn. Sal, How you doing.
- 16:20Speaker 7: I'm good?
- 16:22Speaker 2: But are they taking a shower?
- 16:24Speaker 5: Well?
- 16:25Speaker 8: I was just shaving, shaving.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Eleven thirty worse than me. Go ahead.
- 16:33Speaker 7: We have to reform the illegal immigration system.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I thought we were doing that.
- 16:39Speaker 7: Is this the Immigration Act of nineteen sixty five that's
- 16:42Speaker 7: causing all these Marxists and is allow us to come
- 16:45Speaker 7: into our country. And worse than that, they're getting their
- 16:48Speaker 7: being granted citizenship.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Yeah, you can thank the Democrats in nineteen sixty five
- 16:54Speaker 2: for that. Immigration. I guess it probably should change that. Well,
- 16:57Speaker 2: you can't come in if you're a Marxist looking to
- 16:59Speaker 2: destroy the country. Has got start enforcing that, and we
- 17:02Speaker 2: hopefully are. The border is now closed and we are
- 17:05Speaker 2: grilling people before they come in.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Uh.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel, how you doing.
- 17:11Speaker 9: Good morning, Mark, I hope you had a good weekend.
- 17:14Speaker 9: Good morning, Vincent, Good morning Mara.
- 17:16Speaker 8: Just calling.
- 17:16Speaker 9: I know you're going to have Curtis on shortly. I'm
- 17:18Speaker 9: just calling to encourage him. Don't let anything get in
- 17:21Speaker 9: your way whatsoever. The people of New York City are
- 17:24Speaker 9: behind you. Mind doommy. We know it's not from this area,
- 17:27Speaker 9: from the New York area, and Cuomo is not from
- 17:30Speaker 9: New York. Curtis Is has been always will be. Just
- 17:34Speaker 9: want to make sure that he's fully fully encouraged. Keep ongoing.
- 17:38Speaker 2: All right, thanks for calling. Unfortunately you're in Florida. You
- 17:41Speaker 2: can't vote here. You know, we got all these calls.
- 17:42Speaker 2: They're all in the suburbs, they're in Florida, they're in
- 17:45Speaker 2: here's a guy in Wisconsin, Joseph, how you doing good?
- 17:50Speaker 8: Good? Uh Joe from a white Stone.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Oh, I thought said Wisconsin. All right, go ahead, white Stone.
- 17:56Speaker 8: Oh. I just want to say something about Donald Trump's
- 18:02Speaker 8: Christmas the Trump Watch. Why does it come out with
- 18:06Speaker 8: a Trump hairspray?
- 18:08Speaker 2: Well, you know, actually, if you want stuff, there is
- 18:12Speaker 2: a Trump's store. If you're in Manhattan, go to Trump Tower.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Trump Tower. Take the escalator. That's the one he came
- 18:19Speaker 2: down on when he announced the campaign. Take the escalator.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Downstairs the basement. There's a beautiful Trump's store. It's a
- 18:25Speaker 2: great place for Christmas shopping. They have everything Trump in there.
- 18:28Speaker 2: I mean obviously they got the hats, the shirts, but
- 18:30Speaker 2: everything toat bags, ashtrays, glasses, anything with Trump on it.
- 18:34Speaker 2: It's beautiful stuff too. So take a look down there.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark, Good morning, Mary, Good morning Joe.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Mark.
- 18:45Speaker 5: I care about the Dodgers in fact, and I run
- 18:49Speaker 5: like first illegal gambling bet when Sandy Kolfax was the
- 18:53Speaker 5: picture for the Dodgers back back in the day. Seriously,
- 18:58Speaker 5: I won my first bet. Marck Carol Markowitz was on
- 19:03Speaker 5: Buck and Clay Show the other Day, and she referred
- 19:06Speaker 5: to these thirty percent of the so called Ashkenazi Jews
- 19:11Speaker 5: that have voted for Mandami. She called them the bagels
- 19:14Speaker 5: and cream cheese in the New York Times Jews. They
- 19:18Speaker 5: think they're Jews just because they do all of that. Mark.
- 19:24Speaker 4: Uh.
- 19:24Speaker 5: Yesterday, over the weekend, that creep, that big wind bag. J. D.
- 19:31Speaker 5: Pritsko of Chicago was addressing the teachers union out there.
- 19:36Speaker 5: First off, he usually when referring to Trump, he used
- 19:39Speaker 5: a lot of curses which were so classless like himself.
- 19:43Speaker 5: But uh, this is a good idea. Why don't all
- 19:47Speaker 5: these big blue cities New York, La, Boston, Atlanta, the
- 19:54Speaker 5: big cities in Jersey, why don't they pony up the
- 19:58Speaker 5: money for the e BT cards, for the snap benefits,
- 20:02Speaker 5: because after all, Day took the money out of the
- 20:05Speaker 5: city's call.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Fiz, well, some of them are doing that. The Governor's
- 20:08Speaker 2: trying to do that right now. But Vincent, great call.
- 20:11Speaker 2: When we come back, Curtis Sliwa, we'll talk to him next.
- 20:15Speaker 2: We'll get all the latest on the race from Curtis.
- 20:17Speaker 2: We'll talk to him next on seven to ten. WR
- 20:21Speaker 2: get hiss in.
- 20:22Speaker 10: Access to Mark by setting a pre set in the
- 20:24Speaker 10: iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast. Now
- 20:29Speaker 10: back to the Mark Zimone Show on wr.
- 20:33Speaker 2: IM thinking about how to introduce Curtis, Well, what am
- 20:35Speaker 2: I thinking? You don't have to introduce him. Everybody knows him.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Everybody loves Curtis Leeway. He's the Republican candidate for mayor.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Make sure you get out there and vote tomorrow. And
- 20:43Speaker 2: he's with us right now. Curtis sliwa, how you doing Now?
- 20:47Speaker 4: I'm doing great. I'm in Brooklyn, Cris crossing the five boroughs,
- 20:51Speaker 4: heading the Staten Island. And I got to tell you
- 20:54Speaker 4: there's a lot of energy out there, Mark, a lot
- 20:57Speaker 4: of love. And as you said, everybody loves Curtis. Now,
- 21:00Speaker 4: I just got to get them to vote for me.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and you can vote for him tomorrow. And there's
- 21:05Speaker 2: no voting today but tomorrow. Hey, I got to ask
- 21:08Speaker 2: you this is a very important question. Did you watch
- 21:09Speaker 2: Saturday Night Live? Did you see the sketch they did?
- 21:13Speaker 4: Yes? I did. I didn't watch it live, obviously, I
- 21:15Speaker 4: watched it in the wee hours in the morning. As
- 21:18Speaker 4: you know, Mark, having been my colleague for years, I
- 21:22Speaker 4: love satire, I love parodies, and that's exactly what Saturday
- 21:27Speaker 4: Night Live is, take it or leave it. It has
- 21:30Speaker 4: no impact on the campaign.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Well, actually brought up the fact that your your former life,
- 21:37Speaker 2: your bravery, courage standing up to the mob. No matter
- 21:39Speaker 2: what they did you, you didn't back down. They portrayed
- 21:42Speaker 2: Cuomo as a kind of a sleazy politician, They did
- 21:46Speaker 2: Demandami as a guy who can't deliver anything. So take
- 21:49Speaker 2: it as a compliment. It was pretty good for you.
- 21:51Speaker 4: That's true. It pretty much came across that if you
- 21:54Speaker 4: were a young woman, if you under thirty, Cuomo would
- 21:58Speaker 4: be flirty with you. I got a good belly laugh
- 22:01Speaker 4: out of that.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Yeah, now let me ask you again. The mob they
- 22:05Speaker 2: tried to kill you numerous times. They did everything. You
- 22:08Speaker 2: didn't back down. So why would a billionaire think you're
- 22:11Speaker 2: going to back down if he tries to bribe you
- 22:12Speaker 2: out of the race.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Well, because Mark, as some have said to me, come on, Curtis,
- 22:18Speaker 4: everybody has a price. The final offer was ten million,
- 22:23Speaker 4: drop out of the race. Ten million. You'll be a hero,
- 22:26Speaker 4: I said hero. I said, I'm the only Republican candidate.
- 22:30Speaker 4: I'm a mainstream Kennedy. You want me to throw my
- 22:33Speaker 4: support to a loser, a guy who when he started
- 22:37Speaker 4: a March of twenty twenty five, was forty points ahead
- 22:40Speaker 4: of Johan Mandami in the Democratic primary. And you remember, Mark,
- 22:44Speaker 4: nobody knew Johan Mondami, only his neighbors and a story
- 22:47Speaker 4: in knew it. I said, because of angew almost failure
- 22:50Speaker 4: to campaign, it elevated this guy, this socialist, This guy
- 22:56Speaker 4: wants to destroy New York to international status. So now
- 23:00Speaker 4: you're gonna leave it to Angrew CMO again. Well, look,
- 23:04Speaker 4: failure follows failure.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, but let me ask you a question. These
- 23:08Speaker 2: people that say get out of the race, You could
- 23:11Speaker 2: not get out of the race if you wanted to
- 23:12Speaker 2: could How would you get out? You can't take your
- 23:14Speaker 2: name off the ballot?
- 23:16Speaker 4: No, And it's interesting, Mark, do you still have people
- 23:19Speaker 4: to say, oh, you could drop out today? Are you nuts?
- 23:23Speaker 4: Are you people out there who babble this out of
- 23:26Speaker 4: fear of Fright and his steria of Jorhamandami? Do you
- 23:30Speaker 4: not understand it's one person, one vote. Billionaires, influences, insiders
- 23:35Speaker 4: are not gonna pick the next mayor. The people are.
- 23:38Speaker 4: And you're You're totally right, Mark, I am the Republican Kennedy.
- 23:41Speaker 4: There are only two major parties. Johan won his primary
- 23:45Speaker 4: fair and square and kicked Angel Adams, but there's no
- 23:49Speaker 4: doubt about it. Beat him by thirteen points convincingly. And
- 23:53Speaker 4: I nobody challenged me in a Republican primary. The time
- 23:56Speaker 4: to challenge me was then, So guess what I'm in
- 23:59Speaker 4: it to win? It got a lot of support out there,
- 24:02Speaker 4: have been rallying people throughout the five boroughs. And you
- 24:06Speaker 4: know me, mark twenty hours of a twenty four hour day,
- 24:09Speaker 4: I'm campaigning. I just came from Coney Island Stillwell Avenue
- 24:13Speaker 4: where I laid read at the site where remember Dabrina
- 24:17Speaker 4: Kwam was set on fire like a human torch December
- 24:21Speaker 4: twenty second of twenty twenty four by that illegal alia.
- 24:25Speaker 4: And what was that the result of Democrats? What was
- 24:28Speaker 4: that the result of Eric Adams, swaggerman with no plan
- 24:32Speaker 4: who should have been in jail for corruption and Andrew
- 24:35Speaker 4: Cuomo no cash, bail, Cuomo raised eh Cuomo turned criminals
- 24:40Speaker 4: loose from Rights Island. Cuomo. And you think Democrats are
- 24:44Speaker 4: going to restore law enforcement to where it needs to
- 24:48Speaker 4: be like in the days of Rudy Giuliani. No, I
- 24:51Speaker 4: am Rudy Giuliani two point zero. Marcus, you know he's
- 24:54Speaker 4: endorsed me. George Battaki has endorsed me. Ninety three. Rudy
- 24:58Speaker 4: saved the city. The next year, PATTACKI beat the better
- 25:01Speaker 4: Cuomo Mario Cuomo. We had no corruption, We had a
- 25:05Speaker 4: reduction in crime and no chaos. Then the Democrats came
- 25:09Speaker 4: back with a vengine. We had Dablagio. Then you had
- 25:13Speaker 4: Cuomo as governor who fled fearing impeachment, and Eric Adams
- 25:17Speaker 4: who should be in jail. More chaos, more corruption, more crime.
- 25:21Speaker 4: It's obvious we go the Republican route. Elect me mayor.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Next year, we elect congresswoman at least Stefani to be
- 25:28Speaker 4: the governor. We pooed out Cathy Hokl and we get
- 25:32Speaker 4: this state and city back on track.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Now, when he says Rudy Giuliani two point out, let
- 25:36Speaker 2: me point out. Rudy Giuliani said he's Rudy Giuliani two
- 25:39Speaker 2: point out. So Rudy himself said that, you know, Mamdani
- 25:45Speaker 2: only became a citizen like a couple months ago. I
- 25:48Speaker 2: mean he just recently became a US citizen, moved here.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Cuomo has lived his entire adult life in the suburbs.
- 25:54Speaker 2: You're an expert historian. If we ever had somebody run
- 25:56Speaker 2: for mayor who didn't live in New York City in
- 25:58Speaker 2: their adult life.
- 26:00Speaker 4: No, no, that was almost a prerequisite that you had
- 26:04Speaker 4: that credibility. But again times have changed, and Mark simone.
- 26:09Speaker 4: One thing I can tell all of your listeners, Boy,
- 26:12Speaker 4: have you been consistent?
- 26:13Speaker 5: Mark.
- 26:14Speaker 4: You warned everybody in twenty twenty one that if they
- 26:17Speaker 4: elected Eric Adams against me there would be chaos and corruption.
- 26:22Speaker 4: You were spot on. You've been with me every step
- 26:25Speaker 4: of the way. And I just want to thank you
- 26:27Speaker 4: at WORR because you've been a strong supporter. They've given
- 26:33Speaker 4: me equal opportunity to speak on issues. The place that
- 26:37Speaker 4: I left for ever, Mark, I burned old bridges WABC
- 26:41Speaker 4: oo fo.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Well you're not burning that bridge. We all love that place.
- 26:46Speaker 2: We were all there for years. That'll work out.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Maybe maybe you Mark, not me. Damage has been done.
- 26:54Speaker 4: That's where this whole movement to drop out sleeve was started.
- 26:58Speaker 4: It should have never started in the family. It did.
- 27:01Speaker 4: So Now, Hey, Mark, I get to listen to WOR
- 27:04Speaker 4: all the time, isn't that great?
- 27:07Speaker 2: Well? Yeah, yeah, hey, doors always open here but we
- 27:12Speaker 2: will hope you'll be mayor, but that that would be
- 27:14Speaker 2: even better for New York.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I'll tell you this. How about this ask
- 27:18Speaker 4: the mayor Friday's mid mornings. We get an hour a
- 27:22Speaker 4: courtis Lee at some point in the day, and you
- 27:25Speaker 4: get to be the inquisitor of March Simone because nobody's
- 27:28Speaker 4: been on radio longer, nobody has the credibility of the
- 27:31Speaker 4: pedigree you do. Nobody knows more about radio than March Simone.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Well, thanks, well, curtisly what would be a great mayor
- 27:39Speaker 2: of New York? Now? What do you do tonight and tomorrow?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Obviously no campaign tomorrow, or do you still do it?
- 27:47Speaker 4: No? No, I go with my wife. She'll be voting
- 27:49Speaker 4: on a independent line she created for me. Protect animals,
- 27:53Speaker 4: no killed shelters, and we put animal abuses in jail.
- 27:57Speaker 4: And then I run around to all the poling sites
- 28:00Speaker 4: shaking the hands of the Board of Election employees. What
- 28:03Speaker 4: had been having to work hard with early voting, And
- 28:06Speaker 4: tomorrow we may have a w record setting vote that
- 28:09Speaker 4: hasn't been equal since John Lindsay in nineteen sixty nine.
- 28:14Speaker 4: The miracle met half a million strong up to Woodstock
- 28:18Speaker 4: and the first man walking on the moon. It's all
- 28:21Speaker 4: come full circle. Mark so one.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yeah, the fact that the turnout is like five six
- 28:26Speaker 2: times normal, we'll probably hit over two million votes, which
- 28:29Speaker 2: is unheard of. What does that mean? Who are these
- 28:31Speaker 2: extra people turning out?
- 28:33Speaker 5: Don't know?
- 28:34Speaker 4: Mark? I know my people were turning out because we
- 28:36Speaker 4: micro targeted them months in advance. And as you know,
- 28:39Speaker 4: that's what politics is now. That's how Trump got elected
- 28:42Speaker 4: overwhelmingly won the popular vote the seven battleground states. The
- 28:47Speaker 4: RNC was out there months and months ahead of time.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Door knocking, lid dropping, emails, snail mails, texting, and phone
- 28:55Speaker 4: calls relentlessly. But the most important thing micro targeting, knowing
- 28:59Speaker 4: where you've voters are. We've been at this more than
- 29:02Speaker 4: three months. We know that's how Zoron won the primary.
- 29:05Speaker 4: I gotta tell you, Mark Simoan into Cuomo again, just
- 29:09Speaker 4: like in the primary, dot a get out the vote
- 29:13Speaker 4: effort very late into this campaign. This has to be
- 29:16Speaker 4: done months and months ahead. And look, he's been a
- 29:20Speaker 4: dollar short, although he's had millions and millions and millions
- 29:24Speaker 4: from the billionaires, but a dollar short when it's kind
- 29:27Speaker 4: to get that vote out. And he's been a day
- 29:29Speaker 4: laid and today he said he's pirally gonna do retail campaigning.
- 29:33Speaker 4: He's gonna come out of those closed meetings where you
- 29:36Speaker 4: get vetted, where you you're given a banned on your
- 29:40Speaker 4: wrisk to prove that you're a Cuomo supporter. He's afraid
- 29:44Speaker 4: he has an aversion to deal with people. I treat
- 29:47Speaker 4: the public like a mosh pit. I'm in the subways
- 29:49Speaker 4: every day with friends and foes and a lot of
- 29:52Speaker 4: people asking questions. That's how you win elections. And I
- 29:56Speaker 4: will be campaigning right through the overnight, going from subways
- 30:01Speaker 4: to streets, the diners and trying to get those last
- 30:04Speaker 4: votes before electioneering stops. And then we just wait for
- 30:08Speaker 4: the tabulation on November fourth tonight.
- 30:12Speaker 2: That's tomorrow night. And so nine o'clock tomorrow night the
- 30:14Speaker 2: polls close. Where will you be tomorrow night.
- 30:17Speaker 4: I'll probably still be fielding calls from Govans out there,
- 30:21Speaker 4: Mark Stamon telling me to drop out, suck some, be
- 30:25Speaker 4: your some, well go home. So still not We'll be saying, hey, Sleward,
- 30:30Speaker 4: did you consider a unity taken? Did you consider dropping out?
- 30:34Speaker 4: I don't know. They've lost their minds mart, so they've
- 30:37Speaker 4: gone crazy?
- 30:39Speaker 2: How much money. Would you say you've turned down twenty million,
- 30:42Speaker 2: thirty million altogether?
- 30:43Speaker 4: Now now the seventh off for was ten million dollars.
- 30:48Speaker 4: And then I warned them that from now on I
- 30:50Speaker 4: will be wired up like a Christmas tree, so anything
- 30:53Speaker 4: they offer to me will be heard by investigators. And
- 30:57Speaker 4: all of a sudden the calls stop. And then what
- 31:00Speaker 4: they threatened my wife Nancy, They threatened me I now
- 31:03Speaker 4: have to travel with armed security. You know, Mark, you
- 31:05Speaker 4: were in the studios at WABC after I got shot.
- 31:09Speaker 4: I never had armed security, and the mob was still
- 31:11Speaker 4: after me. But this election cycle, the hate, the rhetoric,
- 31:17Speaker 4: the absolute insanity on the minds of some people have
- 31:22Speaker 4: caused me to have to protect the best thing that
- 31:25Speaker 4: ever happened to me, my wife Nancy, who's been with
- 31:27Speaker 4: me side by side in this campaign. Can't say that
- 31:30Speaker 4: about Zamandami. We never see his wife, and hey, you
- 31:33Speaker 4: know with Andrew, he's a little too handy. I don't
- 31:37Speaker 4: think many women want to be around him.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Well, Curtis, good luck. I'd love to see his mayor.
- 31:43Speaker 2: You'd be a great mayor of New York. And we
- 31:46Speaker 2: don't know what's going to happen tomorrow, but good luck
- 31:48Speaker 2: with everything.
- 31:49Speaker 4: And we'll turn now. And you've always been there giving
- 31:51Speaker 4: me that tactical airs supporter. I appreciate that, and I
- 31:54Speaker 4: appreciate all the listeners and those who have contributed to
- 31:58Speaker 4: your success at war.
- 32:00Speaker 2: All right, Curtis, good luck, Thanks for being with us anytime. Mark,
- 32:04Speaker 2: all right, take care. Yeah, it's too crazy a RaSE
- 32:07Speaker 2: with the polls. Their polls are not that accurate. We
- 32:11Speaker 2: don't know what's going to happen. You can't trust these polls.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Anything could happen. Tomorrow. Hey, Buck and Clay, excellent show
- 32:18Speaker 2: every day, Buck and Clay noon to three. I'll be
- 32:21Speaker 2: the guest today at I'll be one of the guests today.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I'll be on about one thirty on the Buck and
- 32:26Speaker 2: Clay Show. So'll be listening to that today on seven
- 32:28Speaker 2: ten WR.
- 32:30Speaker 10: Mark Simone, come on seven ten WR.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Hey, we're out of time. I'll be back tomorrow. Tomorrow's
- 32:37Speaker 2: election day. Make sure you get out in votes. I'll
- 32:39Speaker 2: be here tomorrow ten to noon. I'll be a guest
- 32:41Speaker 2: on Buck and Clay today about one thirty. If you
- 32:45Speaker 2: got if you can listen otherwise, they'll be here next
- 32:47Speaker 2: noon to three and I'll talk to you tomorrow on
- 32:50Speaker 2: seven ten WR
