- 0:17Speaker 1: Listener discretion is advised. The World's a region poet. Welcome
- 0:27Speaker 1: to Patriot's Unfiltered. We love it when they do bill
- 0:32Speaker 1: at eleven and locker room at five thirty or some tone.
- 0:36Speaker 1: And people have been calling them kind of frauds all
- 0:38Speaker 1: year or so, and now they're like they will write
- 0:40Speaker 1: about us. Yeah, that Parillo guy. Patriots not big leg Nick.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry, that's Nick Foles. They can be a speedbone.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I know it's this thing. They don't have to play
- 0:52Speaker 1: the hits. I just want to make said it's easy
- 0:56Speaker 1: to tire. There's just like something about having a calendar
- 0:59Speaker 1: that I can just like whip out on the guy arresting.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Let's put that calendar away with fleas. How did you
- 1:06Speaker 1: do at the time? What do we navy? This is
- 1:12Speaker 1: Patriot's Unfiltered, fueled by Duncan. All right, Welcome the Patriots unfiltered.
- 1:19Speaker 1: It is Wednesday here at Gillette Stadium, but really it's
- 1:24Speaker 1: a Saturday when you think about football terms. Patriots are
- 1:29Speaker 1: on the road today. I'll be joining them to go
- 1:32Speaker 1: to Minnesota get ready for our Thursday night tilt against
- 1:35Speaker 1: the Vikings. But news today Patriots have killed yet another
- 1:41Speaker 1: new Jersey Jets quarterback third right third one third, one
- 1:46Speaker 1: third one. I'm doing very well and Fred kirsh bingo,
- 1:52Speaker 1: what else? What else am I going to leave? I mean,
- 1:54Speaker 1: that's an easy one. That's low hanging fruit. Yeah, who's
- 1:58Speaker 1: the who is Matt Mark Sanchez? The butt fumble that
- 2:01Speaker 1: kind of with him see ghosts and I guess then
- 2:06Speaker 1: it would be Zach Wilson. Do you feel any responsibility? No, no,
- 2:09Speaker 1: I don't. I guess that was his like mine that
- 2:11Speaker 1: that's what that's what did him. He'd be playing today
- 2:14Speaker 1: if he didn't say something stupid after the I think
- 2:16Speaker 1: you're right question. This was a locker room move. Yeah, absolutely, yeah,
- 2:20Speaker 1: good for Robert. Another one was the Colts. They went
- 2:23Speaker 1: back to Matt Ryan after the Patriots game, thank god.
- 2:26Speaker 1: And now it seems like that's wait, I'm like, I
- 2:28Speaker 1: was an injury, but a little different. Was he really
- 2:31Speaker 1: hurt at that? Like an injury? I know, that's what
- 2:35Speaker 1: That's what I'm like. I'm so Frank Reich decided to
- 2:37Speaker 1: fire himself by intentionally not playing the quarterback. That was healthy. No,
- 2:41Speaker 1: we killed the coach too, I got we killed the
- 2:47Speaker 1: coach too. Do you think Bill and his car has
- 2:49Speaker 1: one of those things in like the back of his
- 2:50Speaker 1: like like like it's an airplane, you know when they
- 2:52Speaker 1: put on like all the shots they've shot down. It's like, like,
- 2:58Speaker 1: you know, all you people who think the Patriots weren't
- 3:00Speaker 1: a dangerous team this year, it's right, watch out. Can
- 3:03Speaker 1: we do that to the Bills? You think, because there
- 3:04Speaker 1: anyone we could get out, you know, either McDermott fired
- 3:07Speaker 1: or Josh Allen allus coming and all seriousness, Freddie, do
- 3:11Speaker 1: you think that being serious? Like, do you think that
- 3:14Speaker 1: Zach Wilson would be quarterbacking this week if he had
- 3:17Speaker 1: said yeah, I gotta do better than yes, I think
- 3:20Speaker 1: he would still be starting had nothing to do with
- 3:22Speaker 1: the Patriots if he had shown he was a leader.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I agree, Yeah. I think that was kind of like
- 3:25Speaker 1: the third strike too. I think the first strike was
- 3:27Speaker 1: after the first Patriots Jets game when he's just like,
- 3:29Speaker 1: we'll see them again in two weeks. The second strike
- 3:32Speaker 1: was midweek when he's like, no one knows what's happening
- 3:34Speaker 1: inside this building stuff for us, and then the third
- 3:36Speaker 1: strike was after. I think it's his attitude. Yeah, it's
- 3:38Speaker 1: all attitude. I totally agree with you. Yeah, it's it's
- 3:41Speaker 1: a coule of a guy who wears a headband. Though
- 3:42Speaker 1: I would say, okay, all right, borg war headband. That's
- 3:47Speaker 1: an individual sport, though. You don't have to be a
- 3:49Speaker 1: good teammate, right, Okay, just kind of play and if
- 3:51Speaker 1: you're a jerk, you're a jerk. Freddie will tell you so. Yeah,
- 3:56Speaker 1: so that I mean, yeah, Mike White's gonna start. Though.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I give us Robert Salo a lot of credit because
- 4:01Speaker 1: I think after the game he was in in Zach
- 4:07Speaker 1: Wilson's camp, he was you know, he's our quarterback, blah
- 4:10Speaker 1: blah blah. Then I think you sort of recognize whoa
- 4:14Speaker 1: what did he do? Because like he's doing his postgame
- 4:17Speaker 1: press conference, he's not really privy to everything that is
- 4:20Speaker 1: being said by all the players at the time. What
- 4:23Speaker 1: he did, what he said, what after that game? And
- 4:26Speaker 1: Garrett Wilson, the rest of the offensive players took it.
- 4:28Speaker 1: How Yeah, and he immediately less than twenty four hours later,
- 4:32Speaker 1: completely changed his chime. I give him a lot of credit.
- 4:34Speaker 1: That's not easy. Well, but it's not easy to do.
- 4:37Speaker 1: It makes it an easier decision when you realize, like, Okay,
- 4:40Speaker 1: the six games we won, it's really not because of
- 4:42Speaker 1: him anyway, right, But that's I mean, he's been a
- 4:45Speaker 1: terrible quarterback since he's been in the league. Yeah right,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I mean he's completing like fifty five percent of his
- 4:50Speaker 1: passes in two years. But I'm slaying like if he
- 4:52Speaker 1: was Mahomes, he'd be starting. I don't care what he said,
- 4:57Speaker 1: but he wouldn't say that, right, Like it's yeah, yeah,
- 5:01Speaker 1: it's all combined. But I give him, like I like sala.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I think I think he read the room. I think
- 5:07Speaker 1: he I think he has he has the ear of
- 5:10Speaker 1: his you know, the players have the ear of their coach.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And I think he responded. I don't know if it's
- 5:16Speaker 1: gonna work, because I don't think Mike White is any good.
- 5:19Speaker 1: But but it's not gonna hurt. It can't hurt. No,
- 5:21Speaker 1: it can't hurt. And it could have hurt if he
- 5:23Speaker 1: continued to play it right. I also thought it was
- 5:25Speaker 1: interesting that he's not only benched him, but he's also
- 5:28Speaker 1: not dressing him like he's inactive. I thought that was
- 5:31Speaker 1: interesting too, Go sit up top, you're benched and every
- 5:33Speaker 1: sense of the word. Yeah. I mean, they're showing the
- 5:36Speaker 1: video on him over there, but I just I can't
- 5:38Speaker 1: get already. Looks like, you know, the kid from Westwood
- 5:41Speaker 1: who just lost the high school Thanksgiving game. Like it
- 5:44Speaker 1: just looks like a kid to me. I don't know,
- 5:46Speaker 1: he does look young. Yeah, yeah, I'm just a little
- 5:49Speaker 1: bit surprised that someone didn't try to coach him up
- 5:52Speaker 1: after his like first two kind of oops at the podium.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I mean maybe they did and he just didn't take
- 5:58Speaker 1: to the coaching. Yeah, I see. You know, I didn't
- 6:00Speaker 1: really have a problem with the first two things that
- 6:01Speaker 1: you said. I have a huge problem with what he
- 6:03Speaker 1: said this one because this one's disrespectful to his teammates. Yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 1: I don't care what he says to us, And I felt, like,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I know, people get all hot and bothered about he said.
- 6:13Speaker 1: It's a it's hot and bothered time when you are teammates.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I think you did something wrong. Right. And I felt
- 6:20Speaker 1: that last two weeks ago when he said we'll see
- 6:22Speaker 1: them again. I mean, I felt like I would feel
- 6:24Speaker 1: the same way if I had played like the Jets
- 6:25Speaker 1: had played in that game, I'd be looking forward to
- 6:27Speaker 1: another chance to redeem myself. Yeah, this is like, Okay,
- 6:32Speaker 1: you played far worse in this game than you did
- 6:34Speaker 1: in the first game. And you're saying, no, no, I
- 6:37Speaker 1: don't really feel like I need to talk to my dad.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know anything to these guys, Like
- 6:41Speaker 1: these guys went out and played their asses off and
- 6:44Speaker 1: held us in the game all by themselves, and I don't.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I don't, I don't feel any nothing. I could played
- 6:50Speaker 1: nine when it's bad. I did it when it's good.
- 6:57Speaker 1: We did it when it's great. They did it. But
- 7:00Speaker 1: that if you live by that, he can't go wrong.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And I'm fully expecting, though, Mike White to come in
- 7:05Speaker 1: and play better football than and I think they're playing
- 7:09Speaker 1: in Chicago, right, so they're probably gonna get no justin
- 7:11Speaker 1: fields as well as a break for them. That's a big,
- 7:15Speaker 1: big part of their success in the first place, avoiding
- 7:19Speaker 1: avoiding players. Hey don't knock it until you try. But
- 7:23Speaker 1: it's a Saturday on a Wednesday here at in Patriots Land,
- 7:26Speaker 1: and so we've got to talk about the Minnesota Vikings. Yeah, yeah,
- 7:30Speaker 1: And I think talking about being banged up, I think
- 7:33Speaker 1: the Patriots got a little break here. I mean, their
- 7:36Speaker 1: offensive line is struggling. Uh, and so I think that's
- 7:40Speaker 1: a big break for the Patriots because this guy isn't
- 7:43Speaker 1: a mobile quarterback. He isn't a guy that's gonna run
- 7:46Speaker 1: around um. And the way the Patriots have been getting
- 7:49Speaker 1: into backfields. Yeah, I think I think I feel a
- 7:53Speaker 1: lot better about this game right now than I did
- 7:56Speaker 1: at the beginning of the season. Yeah, I've got some
- 7:58Speaker 1: strange I've got strange confidence in this one. And not
- 8:00Speaker 1: that I think the Patriots are gonna roll, but I
- 8:01Speaker 1: just think they're gonna pull it out. Um, you know.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Digging on a couple of stats, I mean, Kirk Cousins
- 8:05Speaker 1: twenty seventh under pressure thirteenth one not pressure. Um. The
- 8:09Speaker 1: left tackle situation we talked about yesterday with Darisau being out,
- 8:12Speaker 1: that's a tough spot. But their rookie right guard has
- 8:15Speaker 1: been really bad too. So I think that's what it is.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Get out, get after him early, get him uncomfortable, and
- 8:21Speaker 1: you know, I think they really struggle to down the stretch.
- 8:23Speaker 1: They're not a great you know, lat and close team,
- 8:25Speaker 1: They're not. They're not great fourth quarter, third quarters. So
- 8:28Speaker 1: I think it's about pressure, get a lead, you know,
- 8:31Speaker 1: and then just probably match punts. It's probably what's gonna happen.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I number you just said kinda struck me. They're not
- 8:39Speaker 1: a good Layton close. Yeah yeah, I look today twenty
- 8:42Speaker 1: How they win all these games by one point? I
- 8:43Speaker 1: don't know? Are they holding on for dear life at
- 8:45Speaker 1: the end? That's I know. It inspires me to twenty ninth,
- 8:47Speaker 1: Laton close, twenty eighth and the second half? How do
- 8:50Speaker 1: they how do they define like the lat and close
- 8:52Speaker 1: to that? How is that? Got it? It's a it's
- 8:53Speaker 1: a football outsiders thing though, Okay, I'm no longer interested
- 8:58Speaker 1: late and close close? What is that? I have to look?
- 9:02Speaker 1: I mean it's a certain you know, well, I just
- 9:03Speaker 1: like they've won a ton of game late with how
- 9:06Speaker 1: are they late in Clason games? Right? And then a
- 9:08Speaker 1: certain point margin and like they've won twenty eight, twenty four,
- 9:12Speaker 1: twenty eight, twenty five, twenty nine, twenty two, twenty four
- 9:14Speaker 1: to sixteen, thirty four, twenty six and twenty to seventeen
- 9:17Speaker 1: and thirty three to thirty. But they're bad in close games, Like, like,
- 9:22Speaker 1: how does that equate? Like how does alculate? I mean,
- 9:26Speaker 1: are they bad? Are they pulling it out late or
- 9:28Speaker 1: are they kind of coming close to collapse late? Should
- 9:31Speaker 1: they have? Either way, they're eight and two and they're
- 9:34Speaker 1: all close games, but they're not. So how do you
- 9:36Speaker 1: get bad points for right well because you're not performing well?
- 9:38Speaker 1: Like if you're having negative plays late and close, like
- 9:41Speaker 1: you're you're having more negative player you're winning to spite yourself,
- 9:43Speaker 1: You're winning to despite yourself late and close right eight times?
- 9:48Speaker 1: I have to look at the context. I don't know.
- 9:50Speaker 1: I just think it's kind of I'll do a deep
- 9:53Speaker 1: dive for the preod. It's a disconnect. It's a bad
- 9:54Speaker 1: thing about another team. I believe it. But I'm glad
- 9:59Speaker 1: that you finally we decided to believe some of the
- 10:01Speaker 1: bad things about this team that I've been sort of
- 10:03Speaker 1: talking about, like games like this where they would down
- 10:06Speaker 1: ten at home to the Detroit Lions in the fourth
- 10:10Speaker 1: quarter and came back in one Like these games that
- 10:12Speaker 1: are won possession games against terrible teams. The Patriots have
- 10:16Speaker 1: these terrible teams and they beat him. You know, well
- 10:19Speaker 1: not this but not this week. But you know they
- 10:21Speaker 1: they ended up winning what twenty nine to nothing or
- 10:24Speaker 1: whatever it was against Detroit. What was the score of
- 10:26Speaker 1: the Detroit game? Twenty something and nothing? Anyway, twenty nine nothing? Yeah,
- 10:32Speaker 1: and then you know, twenty five to three against the
- 10:35Speaker 1: Colts like whatever it was, twenty six to three. Do
- 10:39Speaker 1: not think that they're frauds? No, I think he does now. No,
- 10:42Speaker 1: I think they've got some talent on the team. Yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson is as good a player as there is
- 10:46Speaker 1: in the league. Yeah, this is some other good players.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Dalvin Cook, rock solid running back. I would take him.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I think they have Harrison Smith as a safety. I
- 10:53Speaker 1: think he's really really good player. Well Smith, you know
- 10:56Speaker 1: him right. Well, that's what I brought up yes day, Fred,
- 11:00Speaker 1: and maybe we can get your take on it. Was that.
- 11:04Speaker 1: You know, I think you hear a lot that Mac
- 11:05Speaker 1: Jones sealing Kirk Cousins right, Like that's like, oh, he
- 11:08Speaker 1: could be a Kirk Cousins type. You also have plenty
- 11:10Speaker 1: of Patriots fans out there, and you know, myself included
- 11:13Speaker 1: they would love to have Justin Jefferson have a number
- 11:15Speaker 1: one receiver. Um, you know, I went down the roster
- 11:18Speaker 1: with Dalvin Cook. How would you stack Dalvin Cook up
- 11:20Speaker 1: against Ramander Stevenson. I mean maybe here there, but I
- 11:23Speaker 1: mean I certainly an argument to take Dalvin Cook first.
- 11:25Speaker 1: So what's the issue? Like, Like it seems like this
- 11:28Speaker 1: Vikings team is what our kind of dream roster might be,
- 11:32Speaker 1: you know, with Mac Jones at quarterback. So you know
- 11:34Speaker 1: that's what the disconnect is? Is it just the past protection?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Is that? You know what I mean? Is that something
- 11:39Speaker 1: that maybe this is kind of a lesson for Patriots
- 11:41Speaker 1: fans to say, it's great when you have a Justin Jefferson,
- 11:45Speaker 1: but when you don't have the offensive line the time
- 11:48Speaker 1: for that specific kind of quarterback that needs that, it's
- 11:51Speaker 1: it can limit how much you can actually even do
- 11:54Speaker 1: with a number one receiver. And even you know, feeling.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I'm sure people will probably take feeling over just on
- 12:00Speaker 1: any Patriots receiver, um, you know, in certain arguments. So
- 12:03Speaker 1: I just I think there's some interesting dynamics at play
- 12:06Speaker 1: in terms of what people really want. I know, you
- 12:07Speaker 1: love Justin Jefferson, so I mean too, Yeah, but I
- 12:12Speaker 1: think I think you really need to dive in on
- 12:15Speaker 1: Kirk Cousins, like, who is this guy? You know? Does
- 12:19Speaker 1: you know we think that Mac has the mental processing
- 12:22Speaker 1: and all that, we don't know yet, But does Kirk
- 12:26Speaker 1: Cousins have that, you know? Or is he just a
- 12:28Speaker 1: good athlete? Is he Jeff George? You know, Jeff George
- 12:31Speaker 1: could beautiful looking ball down field, but he just never
- 12:35Speaker 1: was a winner. Well, Cousins, isn't that kind of a
- 12:38Speaker 1: gifted player? You don't think he has a good arm? No, really,
- 12:42Speaker 1: his skills are average. He's his ability is his leadership.
- 12:47Speaker 1: He's a tough minded because he said he do people
- 12:51Speaker 1: like to play for it. That's that's his go back
- 12:53Speaker 1: to his draft profile at Michigan STA. Okay, that's that's
- 12:56Speaker 1: what he was. He's a he's like the ultimate leader.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I mean, he's contract, he's a whole achieved. Contrast with
- 13:00Speaker 1: Zach Wilson exactly exactly. You know, Zach Wilson is not
- 13:04Speaker 1: the guy doing the stupid dance with the glass Zach Wilson, Jeff,
- 13:07Speaker 1: But in Jeff George thing, that's Zach Wilson. Okay, wonderful skills.
- 13:12Speaker 1: He could throw the ball anyway you want it, just
- 13:14Speaker 1: you know, but I think in this league, doing the game.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I think in this league, those attributes only get you
- 13:19Speaker 1: so far. I agree, you know, Yeah, at some point
- 13:22Speaker 1: you have to like win a close one and that
- 13:25Speaker 1: comes from behind, and he's good at that. That's why
- 13:27Speaker 1: I was surprised by the numbers. Yeah, because those are
- 13:30Speaker 1: the things that he's he's actually been pretty good at
- 13:32Speaker 1: except for when it's a big game. Why is he
- 13:35Speaker 1: so bad in the primetime games when they play against
- 13:37Speaker 1: good teams? He can't do it right? But why because
- 13:42Speaker 1: he's not that good? Okay, Yeah, the pressures on. I
- 13:45Speaker 1: think he's he's not that good, especially maybe you know
- 13:48Speaker 1: it's I think he's an average quarterback. He's not a stiff.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Like I don't put him down with like the Zach Wilsons.
- 13:53Speaker 1: He could play. You let him get hot on a
- 13:56Speaker 1: Thursday night, you could be in trouble. He could get
- 13:59Speaker 1: in you're get in a groove. Aw though old Vikings
- 14:01Speaker 1: fans are with him, like how they just feel about
- 14:03Speaker 1: the overall Kirk Cousin. I mean, because he's been there
- 14:05Speaker 1: what four or five years now. I mean, it's it's
- 14:07Speaker 1: about make him banks too. Yeah, you know, how how
- 14:10Speaker 1: do they feel about these kind of situations and are
- 14:12Speaker 1: they getting frustrated with you know, you get these great starts,
- 14:15Speaker 1: you've got all this talent around him. But you know,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I think everybody, even reading some of the previews this week,
- 14:20Speaker 1: there's a disconnect with this team. And yeah, they're six
- 14:23Speaker 1: and two, but all the stats that we named off
- 14:26Speaker 1: yesterday there what was it? What was the stat you have, Paul?
- 14:28Speaker 1: They're the only team and it's the first team in
- 14:30Speaker 1: NFL history to have a record of eight and two
- 14:33Speaker 1: or better at this stage of the season and have
- 14:35Speaker 1: been outscored eight and two. That's interesting, yeah, you know,
- 14:42Speaker 1: and it's and it's a little bit of a contrast
- 14:43Speaker 1: to the Patriots because I feel like the Patriots that's
- 14:45Speaker 1: according to Kevin Seifert, by the boy. So if that's
- 14:47Speaker 1: not right, m ESPN, Like, you know how the Patriots
- 14:52Speaker 1: always seemed to when they play a bad team, they
- 14:55Speaker 1: absolutely blow doors off of And then they play a
- 14:57Speaker 1: good team and sometimes they get their doors blown off lately,
- 15:00Speaker 1: and so it all kind of evens out. So the
- 15:02Speaker 1: Patriots stats kind of look all right, it seems about right.
- 15:05Speaker 1: But meanwhile, you know, the truth of like when we
- 15:07Speaker 1: go back and we look at you know, oh, well,
- 15:08Speaker 1: how to mac perform down the stretch. We'll look at
- 15:10Speaker 1: that Jacksonville game. It was great, you know, like the
- 15:13Speaker 1: context of those games. But I'm sorry to pick on this,
- 15:16Speaker 1: like I'm just looking at the numbers, like, so it's
- 15:18Speaker 1: two thirty one to two twenty nine. They've been outscored.
- 15:20Speaker 1: They outscore opponents eighty three to forty three in the
- 15:22Speaker 1: fourth quarter. I'm gonna take into the like how can
- 15:25Speaker 1: it be so bad? And Layton tune into the pregame show.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I will have an answer. I will, I will. I'll
- 15:30Speaker 1: do a deep dive, like eighty three to forty three
- 15:32Speaker 1: they've outscored opponents in the fourth quarter. Yea, so that
- 15:34Speaker 1: it seems like football outsiders. All right, I'm gonna go
- 15:37Speaker 1: I don't know what the criteria, find it. I'll find it.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I'll get a definition, and then I'll do a little
- 15:41Speaker 1: deep dive so we'll have some some things to talk
- 15:43Speaker 1: about when we have our trip to fans. But you
- 15:45Speaker 1: know how these usually work is someone will someone someone
- 15:50Speaker 1: will do it, someone will learn me something. Well, this
- 15:53Speaker 1: is how it's Actually you don't really want the object
- 15:56Speaker 1: isn't to win the game. It's it's too like convert
- 15:59Speaker 1: like on second and four efficiently, and then that's how
- 16:02Speaker 1: you you know, and I'll be oh, okay, second and four.
- 16:05Speaker 1: You got five. You don't need more than that. You
- 16:07Speaker 1: have five, right, that's all you need. Well, you know
- 16:10Speaker 1: it was fourth and twenty eight and they allowed a
- 16:12Speaker 1: twenty four yard play and they won the game, but
- 16:14Speaker 1: they allowed twenty four yards. It says here in this
- 16:16Speaker 1: this chart that that's not good. Well, I think that
- 16:19Speaker 1: the Patriots defense is going to be okay, yes, So
- 16:22Speaker 1: how is the Patriots offense going to because that's the
- 16:24Speaker 1: big question. Can you score some points here? I think
- 16:26Speaker 1: that with or without David Andrews playing, Yeah, either way,
- 16:30Speaker 1: I don't think he's gonna play. I don't think he's
- 16:32Speaker 1: gonna play either, but I don't rule it out. But
- 16:35Speaker 1: I think that this is a I said yesterday Freddie,
- 16:37Speaker 1: I think it could be a get right game to
- 16:39Speaker 1: the offense. I think this is a defense that they
- 16:41Speaker 1: can exploit. Yeah, and you don't have to worry about
- 16:44Speaker 1: any elements this week, either, which is great. Can we
- 16:47Speaker 1: change it from get right? Because I feel like get
- 16:49Speaker 1: right implies that at one point they were right, Yeah,
- 16:53Speaker 1: what is right? I didn't say to get back, get
- 16:55Speaker 1: back game. It's get right game. You ever been right? All? Yeah?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Breakthrough game? You got there? What's that shirt all about? There?
- 17:01Speaker 1: It's a freebie I got up from the from the
- 17:03Speaker 1: thing vaccination as a free shirt that was up in
- 17:06Speaker 1: the in the break room grab. I just I just
- 17:10Speaker 1: really need it all. Hope that the offensive line and
- 17:13Speaker 1: the few practices that they did have this week found
- 17:16Speaker 1: a better rhythm with the guys that are available. Now.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Obviously you can't go back and you can't get Isaiah Win,
- 17:22Speaker 1: you can't get David Andrews back from what happened on Sunday.
- 17:25Speaker 1: But right, what is Trent Brown's head like? Yeah? What's
- 17:28Speaker 1: going on with Trent Brown? Kid? You know? Can he
- 17:31Speaker 1: do what he needs to do with left tackle? Yeah?
- 17:34Speaker 1: How was could use? You know as he progressed? I
- 17:38Speaker 1: don't know, I don't know, I don't know. I have
- 17:40Speaker 1: to ask, you know, Paul's guy Badard about the tape
- 17:43Speaker 1: the oil could used? How was he really just not great?
- 17:46Speaker 1: They signed Connor McDermott too for the Jet practice squad.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Twenty seventeen draft pick the Patriots kind of forgot about that.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I think that was the one thing only drafted like
- 17:54Speaker 1: four guys. Yeah, I think he was actually like washed
- 17:58Speaker 1: up on shore in a raft like trying to get
- 18:00Speaker 1: away from the Jets, and we took him in. I mean,
- 18:02Speaker 1: it's it's interesting though he had deep and promoted a
- 18:04Speaker 1: bunch of times. I mean he was kind of like
- 18:06Speaker 1: one of their game day extra tackles. He was going,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I mean, he's you know, but it just shows what
- 18:13Speaker 1: position they're in. And I mean part of me. We
- 18:15Speaker 1: talked about Isaiah Win. I'm like, is that a is
- 18:17Speaker 1: that a thing that's just best for the team, because
- 18:19Speaker 1: I feel like, no matter what they've done with he
- 18:21Speaker 1: just never looks like he's really all that intense and
- 18:24Speaker 1: into the game. This year. I know this probably isn't true,
- 18:26Speaker 1: but the first thing I heard about, like when Andrews
- 18:29Speaker 1: could play but when probably won't, is like Andrews trying
- 18:34Speaker 1: to show him if I can play, you can play, buddy, right,
- 18:37Speaker 1: you know, I mean he limped up. I don't know,
- 18:39Speaker 1: I mean, who knows what Win was battling going into
- 18:41Speaker 1: this game, but you know, you put him back at
- 18:43Speaker 1: left left tackle. It's just as ineffective as it was.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I agree there on the point no offense to James Ferns,
- 18:48Speaker 1: but I felt like if he had to play the
- 18:50Speaker 1: rest of the season, it will be a really, really
- 18:53Speaker 1: tough grind against these good defenses that they have, um,
- 18:56Speaker 1: you know coming up. I just it's hard when you
- 18:58Speaker 1: get to your backup center. But you know, I think
- 19:00Speaker 1: Ted Harris a couple of years ago, you know, showed it.
- 19:02Speaker 1: And even Ted Harris we felt like we had, you know,
- 19:04Speaker 1: some drop off from Andrews. And I don't want to
- 19:06Speaker 1: make Andrews to be the savior, but I think it's
- 19:08Speaker 1: clear what he means to that team from his presence
- 19:11Speaker 1: with Cole Strange and the leadership that he provides and
- 19:14Speaker 1: all that stuff. So not expecting him tomorrow, but I
- 19:17Speaker 1: think it's a great sign if you could somehow maybe
- 19:19Speaker 1: get him back for Buffalo would be you know, huge
- 19:21Speaker 1: with that with that front and those guys, and you
- 19:23Speaker 1: know the experience that he has with going against those guys.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I'm not going to try to speak in like Evans's
- 19:29Speaker 1: voice here, but I'm wondering nobody can wondering from um,
- 19:34Speaker 1: you know what he was able to share yesterday on
- 19:36Speaker 1: the show, if we'll see more of the full house
- 19:38Speaker 1: package that he talked a lot about, because those really
- 19:40Speaker 1: worked with Titan's you know, helping and kind of yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 1: picking up on like the weaker side of the offensive
- 19:46Speaker 1: line where they were able to get some big plays in.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It's like, I'm wondering if I'll try to do more
- 19:49Speaker 1: of that if they can't get the offensive line to
- 19:52Speaker 1: be okay by it. So I think they're gonna have to, Yeah,
- 19:54Speaker 1: because two seconds for Mac Jones to throw the ball
- 19:56Speaker 1: it's just not enough. I think they're gonna have to
- 19:59Speaker 1: leave tight end. I mean they had two tight ends
- 20:01Speaker 1: in the backfield on one Yeah, and then later on
- 20:03Speaker 1: they leaked it out in that work. They did it
- 20:05Speaker 1: a couple of times. That's the thing that we talked
- 20:07Speaker 1: about on the postgame show. And that's why I was
- 20:10Speaker 1: a little defensive of the coaches, Like everybody just beats
- 20:13Speaker 1: the crap out of the coaches, and I'm I'm in that.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I'm I'm included in that. I don't like the plan,
- 20:18Speaker 1: but I did see things that I haven't really seen.
- 20:22Speaker 1: You know, I saw it. You know, I don't know
- 20:23Speaker 1: how creative it was, but it was different and it's
- 20:27Speaker 1: they're recognizing things and they're at least trying. And I
- 20:29Speaker 1: thought that some of the chunk plays they got in
- 20:31Speaker 1: that game were as the result of some of these
- 20:34Speaker 1: different looks. Yeah, that they that they Now you get
- 20:39Speaker 1: a couple more of those on tape, and maybe Fred,
- 20:42Speaker 1: you become a little bit more difficult to defend. Defend Y. Yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: I can't believe I screwed that up. Yesterday. We were
- 20:50Speaker 1: we were a lockstep and then I just misspooke on
- 20:52Speaker 1: the when we did that together. Paul. I'm also like,
- 20:56Speaker 1: if they do get those chunk plays, I just would
- 20:58Speaker 1: be really interested to have like a clean game in
- 21:01Speaker 1: terms of like, okay, like Mac didn't have any turnovers, okay,
- 21:04Speaker 1: but like let's try to not have the offensive line commitment. Yeah,
- 21:08Speaker 1: I mean that's that's true, And that's in that like burns,
- 21:12Speaker 1: like how do you it's just like a mindset and
- 21:18Speaker 1: and I know, um, you know, Max had some on
- 21:20Speaker 1: the radio yesterday about flipping the switch in the red zone,
- 21:23Speaker 1: and I mean it sounds great, but the switch is
- 21:26Speaker 1: getting flipped. It's a wrong direction when they get in
- 21:28Speaker 1: the red zone. Right now, That's another one that's kind
- 21:29Speaker 1: of sticking in my crop. The red zone, the red zone,
- 21:32Speaker 1: the red zone. It's all about the red zone. I
- 21:33Speaker 1: can't do this in the red zone. It you know
- 21:35Speaker 1: what I would like to get there, to get to
- 21:37Speaker 1: the red zone, No, I know, but what they have
- 21:39Speaker 1: but when they do, you know, there's only four one
- 21:41Speaker 1: there's only four teams in football that have been in
- 21:42Speaker 1: the red zone less than they have, which which but
- 21:45Speaker 1: how our house offense is like Denver and Carolina Butuston
- 21:48Speaker 1: that magnifies the mistakes even more they have so far.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I get it, they have been They've been bad when
- 21:52Speaker 1: they get there, yeah, but they don't get there, no,
- 21:55Speaker 1: and that's part of the play. Tennessee doesn't get there either,
- 21:58Speaker 1: but they get a touchdown every time, right, so they
- 22:00Speaker 1: overcome it, right, you know, obviously helps they have Derrick Henry,
- 22:03Speaker 1: of course it does, you know, right, well, it's I mean,
- 22:05Speaker 1: I think like part of what I was saying, it's
- 22:07Speaker 1: like you're going into reverse when you get to the
- 22:09Speaker 1: high red zone. So you don't get to the red
- 22:11Speaker 1: zone because all of a sudden you get to like
- 22:12Speaker 1: the thirty and everybody starts first sack, first play, penalty,
- 22:19Speaker 1: lam up, they play up that's that's the stuff that
- 22:22Speaker 1: needs to add. Yes. Yeah, well I I like the
- 22:26Speaker 1: you know, I like that little tweak that they did.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I hope that they have some more. Um. You know,
- 22:30Speaker 1: Evan went right went right at Mac yesterday. We'll question
- 22:32Speaker 1: about the identity of you know, saying some teams we
- 22:35Speaker 1: look at this team, they were spread team. Some teams
- 22:37Speaker 1: we look always Evans in the other room. All right,
- 22:39Speaker 1: so you can come into um, I'll let I'll let
- 22:43Speaker 1: ever subscribe. What what you know? He asked Mac, But
- 22:45Speaker 1: he said, you know, it's the same thing Evan was
- 22:46Speaker 1: saying yesterday on the radio of doesn't feel like there's
- 22:49Speaker 1: like a core set of identity bass plays that this
- 22:52Speaker 1: offense has. He's all dressed up. You guys can see him.
- 22:54Speaker 1: He's getting ready for the plane. Oh, Matt's got a volume,
- 22:59Speaker 1: you up kind of volume. I thought i'd pop in
- 23:03Speaker 1: and say hi for Sultan. You were looking for a
- 23:06Speaker 1: certain response. But go back to your question yesterday with Mac. Yeah,
- 23:10Speaker 1: so I asked him like Mike basically said the question
- 23:14Speaker 1: exactly word for word. You know, other offenses, I can
- 23:18Speaker 1: look at them play and look at their coaching staff
- 23:21Speaker 1: and their pedigree and their background and all these types
- 23:24Speaker 1: of things and say, Okay, did Buffalo, Kansas City, you
- 23:27Speaker 1: guys run a spread? You know, Shanahan Tree guys, you
- 23:29Speaker 1: guys run this outside zone system. And I asked Mac,
- 23:33Speaker 1: what's the Patriot system? Like what what do you guys?
- 23:36Speaker 1: And he said that we want to be good at everything.
- 23:40Speaker 1: And my reaction to that was, I don't know if
- 23:43Speaker 1: this team has the horses to be good at everything, right.
- 23:46Speaker 1: You know, back in the day, we could be good
- 23:47Speaker 1: at everything, because let's try being good at something right. Yeah. Yeah,
- 23:51Speaker 1: So that's why I'm really fascinated to see this game
- 23:53Speaker 1: on Thursday night, because it's a short week. They talk
- 23:57Speaker 1: all the time about how they're not going to reinvent
- 23:59Speaker 1: the wheel with one and a half days of practice,
- 24:02Speaker 1: So this game on Thursday night should really be your
- 24:05Speaker 1: core plays, Like what we believe in the most that
- 24:08Speaker 1: we can execute is what we're going to execute in
- 24:10Speaker 1: a short week. So I think we'll find out really
- 24:14Speaker 1: quickly on Thursday night, this is what they think they
- 24:16Speaker 1: are good at right now. I we'll see what it is. Yeah.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I'd love to hear like a real scouting report of
- 24:22Speaker 1: UM because the question that somebody asked, I think one
- 24:25Speaker 1: of the guys yesterday might have been Dugger dug, but
- 24:29Speaker 1: they just said, you know, how hard is it to study,
- 24:32Speaker 1: you know, the schemes of the other team in such
- 24:34Speaker 1: a you know, quick turnaround and is it mentally more challenging?
- 24:37Speaker 1: Or it was actually Adrian Philip sorry, um but ap
- 24:42Speaker 1: but he said, you know it's or you know, I'm sorry,
- 24:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna walk this back. Karen Gregian asked him about
- 24:48Speaker 1: is it easier to scout teams coming off a blowout
- 24:50Speaker 1: like that? Can you learn anything from that blowout or
- 24:52Speaker 1: you and he said, well, it's better to watch the
- 24:53Speaker 1: close games because then you can tee up a lot
- 24:55Speaker 1: of gotta have at moments and this is what this
- 24:58Speaker 1: team is going to go to and they got to
- 24:59Speaker 1: have him all. So I wonder with the Patriots, is
- 25:03Speaker 1: there a theme for like a professional scout to look
- 25:05Speaker 1: at what does this team do and they got to
- 25:07Speaker 1: have the moments? Because I think what Evans question got
- 25:09Speaker 1: at and what I feel like, it's like it's just
- 25:10Speaker 1: a Pope perri of who knows what they're gonna do.
- 25:13Speaker 1: There's nothing that they're like, well, clearly they believe in
- 25:15Speaker 1: this play and they know that when they got to
- 25:17Speaker 1: have it, this is what they're going to go to.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Who knows what it is. I don't know, I don't know,
- 25:21Speaker 1: but an interesting I mean, it's a brand new offense
- 25:23Speaker 1: and it's ten games. They haven't established themselves. I mean,
- 25:27Speaker 1: some teams need a couple of seasons before they established
- 25:31Speaker 1: a new offense, you know. Like so it's not surprising,
- 25:34Speaker 1: but it's that's the fact is that they don't have
- 25:37Speaker 1: an identity. They really don't. I wonder if they're going
- 25:39Speaker 1: to go back to I mean, kind of what more
- 25:42Speaker 1: of Mac did well last year in this game, kind
- 25:45Speaker 1: of more of like the short pass. It felt like
- 25:46Speaker 1: a last game, I mean, and I thought, like, you know,
- 25:48Speaker 1: it felt like Mac did a pretty good job last game.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Like all things considered, it wasn't you know, he didn't,
- 25:53Speaker 1: you know, raise the level of team, but he didn't
- 25:55Speaker 1: take that over the I don't know whatever the last
- 25:58Speaker 1: four or five games before that, they're sure wasn't. He
- 26:01Speaker 1: should have probably had at least two or three picks
- 26:03Speaker 1: in this game. There was not that really low bar. No, No,
- 26:08Speaker 1: it's it's just what I made this comment yesterday, like
- 26:12Speaker 1: this is what everybody wanted to clamor for like, can
- 26:14Speaker 1: they go back to doing the things that mac Jones
- 26:15Speaker 1: did well lash it? Yeah, this is it. This is
- 26:17Speaker 1: why they changed it because it's not good enough. Yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 1: because you can complete one hundred percent of your passes
- 26:22Speaker 1: for two hundred and fifty yards and not get any points. Yeah,
- 26:25Speaker 1: because you're not really threatening the defense in any way. Fred,
- 26:28Speaker 1: why they're easy to defend. Also would help if you
- 26:32Speaker 1: actually threw the ball into the end zone on Yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 1: which would maybe decent. We had some good good We
- 26:38Speaker 1: had some good questions to the mailbag this week about
- 26:41Speaker 1: no fly zone. You know, when you when they get
- 26:43Speaker 1: down there, why they so reluctant ye to push the
- 26:46Speaker 1: ball into the end zone. I mean, there's a lot
- 26:48Speaker 1: of good offensive coaches that will tell you that sometimes
- 26:52Speaker 1: you just want to skip over the red zone, right.
- 26:54Speaker 1: The red zone is a is a tough area to
- 26:55Speaker 1: score in. It's compact space. It's not an easy place
- 26:59Speaker 1: to score. Teams that are even in the best has
- 27:02Speaker 1: kind of done that. Yeah, even the teams that are
- 27:04Speaker 1: best in the league in the red zone or what
- 27:06Speaker 1: usually like sixty sixty five percent, So that means forty
- 27:09Speaker 1: percent of the time they're also failing. So I think
- 27:11Speaker 1: I look at it, you know, the red zone, and
- 27:13Speaker 1: you say, all right, well, when you first and ten
- 27:15Speaker 1: from the twenty two yard line, you know, maybe let's
- 27:19Speaker 1: drop a little bit of a shot play here to
- 27:21Speaker 1: try to get the ball into the end zone or
- 27:22Speaker 1: at least get the ball down to the one or
- 27:24Speaker 1: the two yard line where maybe we can pound the
- 27:27Speaker 1: rocking at that. But you know, knowing Bill, at least
- 27:30Speaker 1: a couple of these recent games have been those type
- 27:32Speaker 1: of games were the only way the other team's gonna
- 27:34Speaker 1: beat you is if you help them. Yeah, you know,
- 27:36Speaker 1: it's all about punting and field position. And so Bill's like,
- 27:40Speaker 1: don't don't take the chance. We don't need it. You know.
- 27:44Speaker 1: As long as we don't make mistakes like that, we're
- 27:47Speaker 1: gonna be in. And at the end of the skit
- 27:49Speaker 1: that now this game might be a little different because
- 27:53Speaker 1: Minnesota does have the you know, I can't expect that
- 27:57Speaker 1: the Patriots are going to give up three points in
- 27:58Speaker 1: this game, you know, and dominate the game. Like whenever
- 28:02Speaker 1: the Patriots are in control defensively in a tight game,
- 28:06Speaker 1: I feel good. I feel good, you know, even though
- 28:09Speaker 1: it's closed. If our defense is dictating. I feel good. Well, yeah,
- 28:13Speaker 1: because you're not in a situation where you need to
- 28:16Speaker 1: score points, right, and you're not in a situation where
- 28:18Speaker 1: you have to take chances. Well, but they haven't had
- 28:21Speaker 1: an ability to match scores with anybody, and right, it's
- 28:24Speaker 1: been a while. So yeah, I would definitely feel better
- 28:27Speaker 1: in a game and the teams than I would in
- 28:29Speaker 1: the twenties. Yeah, for this team. But let's see, like
- 28:32Speaker 1: if the game declares itself where oh, Vikings are able
- 28:35Speaker 1: to move the ball, maybe they need to go to
- 28:37Speaker 1: the end zone a little bit more from twenty yards out.
- 28:40Speaker 1: We'll see it might be interesting. See, you know, I mean,
- 28:42Speaker 1: I think everybody is is curious to see the Patriots
- 28:45Speaker 1: kind of feet to the coals and you know, get
- 28:47Speaker 1: off to that. You know, maybe not even a bad start,
- 28:49Speaker 1: but just a couple of bad breaks, you know, a
- 28:50Speaker 1: one blown coverage and you know, all of a sudden,
- 28:52Speaker 1: they're in a ten point hole. Right now. Now, let's
- 28:55Speaker 1: see what Let's see what ap Patricia has in the
- 28:57Speaker 1: bag to try to get these guys back in the game.
- 28:59Speaker 1: I would also love to see them score a touchdown
- 29:01Speaker 1: in the first quarter for a while, all right, stop it.
- 29:03Speaker 1: That's crazy. I don't think they've scored a touchdown the
- 29:05Speaker 1: first quarter all season, is that right? Yeah? If I
- 29:08Speaker 1: if that's stat. I saw it a stat on Twitter,
- 29:10Speaker 1: so I don't I don't know. I didn't look it
- 29:12Speaker 1: up myself, but you know, a little dicey there. But yeah,
- 29:15Speaker 1: they're one of the worst first quarter teams in the league,
- 29:18Speaker 1: which tells you that that opening script not a Yeah,
- 29:23Speaker 1: they've only scored fifteen points in the first quarter all year,
- 29:25Speaker 1: so fifteen think about that is how to imagine five
- 29:30Speaker 1: field goals to me? Like five field goals to me too, Right,
- 29:33Speaker 1: in ten games, they've scored fifteen points in the first quarter,
- 29:36Speaker 1: which is like, and we've always busted that the chops
- 29:39Speaker 1: of of Josh McDaniels are saying, your best drive is
- 29:41Speaker 1: your first one of the game when you know how
- 29:43Speaker 1: it's you know what you're gonna get. And odd part
- 29:46Speaker 1: is I think that they actually had some some of
- 29:48Speaker 1: those games where they had no offense at all, they
- 29:50Speaker 1: had some good best drives they had where the opening
- 29:52Speaker 1: like even like the opening drive of the season was
- 29:55Speaker 1: a pretty good drive in Miami that unfortunately ended with
- 29:58Speaker 1: a pick. But the fact that they haven't that that's
- 30:02Speaker 1: gotta be five field goals because they didn't hit a
- 30:05Speaker 1: two point full, hasn't missed any extra points. If I'm
- 30:08Speaker 1: not mistaken, I think they're the only team in the
- 30:10Speaker 1: league that hasn't scored a touchdown in the first quarter yet. Wow,
- 30:14Speaker 1: it's funny how you can watch ten games and not
- 30:16Speaker 1: really be aware of something like yeah, yeah, I mean
- 30:20Speaker 1: it feels right, Yeah, definitely. Actually, I let me ask
- 30:23Speaker 1: Evian about the football's thing. Um, yes, they had that,
- 30:26Speaker 1: they had that. Oh, he'll be able to explain this.
- 30:28Speaker 1: They had the vikings as twenty ninth late and close,
- 30:30Speaker 1: and Paul was Paul that didn't That didn't sit right,
- 30:32Speaker 1: doesn't all? It doesn't seem compute when they all they
- 30:34Speaker 1: do is win close games. Are you sure you filtered
- 30:37Speaker 1: it correctly? I filtered it. I thought I was going
- 30:42Speaker 1: to get like, twenty ninth could also mean like third best, right,
- 30:45Speaker 1: like if you depending on the way that it now,
- 30:49Speaker 1: I think I'm right. Well, Lukins, Yeah, but they've outscored
- 30:52Speaker 1: oppotents in the fourth quarter what like forty four to
- 30:55Speaker 1: something many opponents. I'm looking at this directly. Well, I
- 31:02Speaker 1: will say this about football outsiders and their feelings on
- 31:06Speaker 1: the Vikings they are. I really do not like the Vikings,
- 31:09Speaker 1: and I sha I share a Football Outsiders opinion of
- 31:12Speaker 1: the Vikings at large. But the only way they win
- 31:15Speaker 1: games is like a late with like a late field.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Every one of their games is a one score win.
- 31:22Speaker 1: It seemed to me as well. But yeah, they're twenty
- 31:24Speaker 1: third in the league right now in DVOA as an
- 31:26Speaker 1: eight and two team. Yeah, that makes to me. I've
- 31:29Speaker 1: I've seen enough of the high I haven't watched games
- 31:31Speaker 1: like I saw the Philadelphia game early in the year. Um,
- 31:35Speaker 1: but that's and I saw a lot of the Buffalo game,
- 31:38Speaker 1: and I thought they were thoroughly all played in both games. Yeah,
- 31:41Speaker 1: and they won, they won one of them. Like, but
- 31:44Speaker 1: so I understand like all the DVOA negative numbers, I'm
- 31:46Speaker 1: with them with Football Outsiders on that just does that
- 31:49Speaker 1: one doesn't compute to me. They only win one scored
- 31:52Speaker 1: games and they're eight and two. The Bills had a
- 31:55Speaker 1: ninety eight point six percent chance of winning that game
- 31:58Speaker 1: against the Vikings and they're up twenty seven twenty three
- 32:02Speaker 1: with forty seconds left and lose the game. I could
- 32:04Speaker 1: tell you if Paul Parolo was the quarterback of the Bills.
- 32:06Speaker 1: They would have won the game. I'd never fumbled a
- 32:08Speaker 1: snap in ten years of playing quarterback. Does Bill take
- 32:10Speaker 1: the intentional safety? No, there was no need to take
- 32:13Speaker 1: an intentional safety and risk losing on a field goal.
- 32:16Speaker 1: That's the way I thought to All you have to
- 32:18Speaker 1: do is take the snap. Like it's not a hard thing,
- 32:20Speaker 1: you know. Bill says, Oh, we're just trying to get
- 32:22Speaker 1: the quarterback center exchanged out right, That's all that. It
- 32:25Speaker 1: was quarterback center exchanged. And then you just go down
- 32:28Speaker 1: to when you make sure you're you're outside the goal line.
- 32:31Speaker 1: That's it. I do at least like try to get
- 32:33Speaker 1: him to jump, you know, like you could. And they
- 32:35Speaker 1: kind of did that. They gave like they talked about
- 32:37Speaker 1: they did a hard count or something and they didn't jump,
- 32:39Speaker 1: like whatever. But I don't know, Like sometimes you just
- 32:43Speaker 1: find a way to lose a game that you have
- 32:44Speaker 1: no business losing. In Minnesota's obviously won a handful of
- 32:47Speaker 1: those games this year that they've had no business winning. Yeah,
- 32:50Speaker 1: all right, five five pats five hundred is the ace
- 32:53Speaker 1: ticket hut line. Let's go to the phones. They're stacked
- 32:55Speaker 1: up Patty's an agaam, what's up? Patty? Hey Betty? So Mike,
- 33:03Speaker 1: I can tell you that what I say is issue
- 33:05Speaker 1: is an aptitude. That's what he's feeling with. So I
- 33:12Speaker 1: kind of agree with you, Paul. I think we might
- 33:14Speaker 1: actually see this team get in the end zone a
- 33:15Speaker 1: few times on Thursday night. And I'm really excited to
- 33:19Speaker 1: see how they've spend justin Jefferson, because he's that that
- 33:23Speaker 1: one guy that, like, you know, Bill's gonna have the
- 33:26Speaker 1: game plan to take out of the game and let
- 33:28Speaker 1: all the other guys, you know, if if we can
- 33:32Speaker 1: we can live with Dalvin Cook and Eric and feeling
- 33:36Speaker 1: beating us that, you know, I think he'll he'd be
- 33:38Speaker 1: all right with that. And I just had a quick question.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Do you guys think that they take a flyer on
- 33:43Speaker 1: your seer Durant? I know that they just signed that
- 33:46Speaker 1: guy from the jifth practice squad that we drafted in
- 33:48Speaker 1: seventeen books. Um, that's it. That's all I got, guys,
- 33:52Speaker 1: all right, thanks Patty Durant. Was he was waived you
- 33:56Speaker 1: got with yesterday? I don't know. I mean, I think
- 33:59Speaker 1: he was more of an inside guy, but I wouldn't
- 34:01Speaker 1: rule it out if you have, you know, some depth issues,
- 34:04Speaker 1: you maybe want to consider something with cold strange. What's
- 34:06Speaker 1: the health of the tight end from Minnesota? Because he's
- 34:10Speaker 1: talking about taking away Jefferson, Yeah, you know it's good. Yeah, yeah,
- 34:15Speaker 1: I mean, but they still came away the last time. Yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 1: I also wonder if the focus will be more on
- 34:20Speaker 1: taking away Jefferson or taking away Cook. Do you think
- 34:23Speaker 1: they'll try to run the ball more? Because the Patriots
- 34:26Speaker 1: haven't been that great against the run anyway, So do
- 34:29Speaker 1: you think they'll lean more on that? But I think
- 34:31Speaker 1: they'll try to establish a run Absolutely? Fuck yeah, I
- 34:35Speaker 1: think I think it's term mobile quarterback. The Patriots have
- 34:39Speaker 1: been nails against the run this year. It's barely just
- 34:42Speaker 1: fields and Lamar going off against them in those two games,
- 34:47Speaker 1: I mean green Bay had a previo. I mean green
- 34:48Speaker 1: Bay ran for two hundred yards. Yeah, but that but
- 34:50Speaker 1: that game plan is, you know, you have Aaron Rodgers
- 34:52Speaker 1: on the other side, and you're playing two high shells
- 34:54Speaker 1: the entire game and you're a man down in the box.
- 34:56Speaker 1: So so that but to that point, if if it
- 35:00Speaker 1: is Jefferson, you're worried about what is your defensive front
- 35:03Speaker 1: gonna look, I mean, I don't think that Dalvin Cook
- 35:05Speaker 1: will take this game over, but I think the focus
- 35:09Speaker 1: has to be Jefferson. You can't allow Jefferson to go. Yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 1: I think. I think it really depends on how much
- 35:15Speaker 1: confidence they have in Jonathan Jones. I mean, he's been
- 35:18Speaker 1: great this year, and if they feel like he's playing
- 35:21Speaker 1: at that level where you can just put Jonathan Jones
- 35:24Speaker 1: on Justin Jefferson and obviously Jonathan Jones can travel inside
- 35:28Speaker 1: with him, he can travel outside with him and just
- 35:30Speaker 1: play your man coverage and think your guy's good enough
- 35:32Speaker 1: to hold up, then that frees you up to do
- 35:35Speaker 1: some other things. If you don't and you think you
- 35:38Speaker 1: need to basically bracket or double Justin Jefferson, especially on
- 35:42Speaker 1: third down or red zone situations and things like that,
- 35:45Speaker 1: then yeah, it leaves you vulnerable in other spots, no
- 35:48Speaker 1: doubt about it. So I wouldn't be surprised if they
- 35:51Speaker 1: try to roll with Jonathan Jones early and see if
- 35:54Speaker 1: he can hold hold up against Justin Jefferson on his own.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Mikes and Vermont, what's up, Mike? Yes, Now, I'm a
- 36:02Speaker 1: true Patriots fan. I have faith in my team no
- 36:05Speaker 1: matter what some of these so called fans need to
- 36:10Speaker 1: stop booing Mac Jones and give him a damn chance. Yes,
- 36:16Speaker 1: definitely got us a few wins, but Mac is the
- 36:18Speaker 1: quarterback to all. These so called fans need to give
- 36:22Speaker 1: Matt a chance to prove that he can do what
- 36:25Speaker 1: he can do. And that's all I gotta say. So, Mike,
- 36:28Speaker 1: you you think some fans aren't even giving him a chance? Well,
- 36:31Speaker 1: I would say that Chicago game that Monday night, Mike
- 36:34Speaker 1: is right, like, um, they're not giving Mac chance and
- 36:37Speaker 1: they need to give Mac a chance. He's just coming
- 36:39Speaker 1: off with an ankle injury for Christ's sake. Ye, these
- 36:44Speaker 1: so called fans, they need to either get on the
- 36:47Speaker 1: bandwagon was back or get off and go with a
- 36:50Speaker 1: different team. Wow. But I am so sick of seeing
- 36:54Speaker 1: people saying, oh, Mack needs to go, Belichick needs to
- 36:57Speaker 1: fire Mac or whatever and ball crap. And in your opinion,
- 37:04Speaker 1: how long does that chance? Like? What what are you
- 37:06Speaker 1: looking for? Mike is gonna take us all the way
- 37:10Speaker 1: at Okay, so you're you're you're sold? Okay, Okay, all right,
- 37:15Speaker 1: I can feel that. Make if Mike and given the
- 37:17Speaker 1: chance and have someone that work with him like Brady
- 37:20Speaker 1: had bloods don't work with him? Blood didn't. Oh, okay,
- 37:26Speaker 1: and then Matt, I know Mac can take us all
- 37:28Speaker 1: the way if he's given the chance. Lord, well, I'm glad,
- 37:32Speaker 1: very confident. That's good. I love your confidence, Mike. Thanks
- 37:35Speaker 1: for the call. I'm not here to take away someone's confidence. Absolutely,
- 37:39Speaker 1: I don't share it. But I don't boo him either,
- 37:43Speaker 1: like I'm not. I'm not big. I was really upset
- 37:46Speaker 1: that Chicago game if you recall when they were booing
- 37:49Speaker 1: before Mac Jones even took a snap. You know, listen,
- 37:53Speaker 1: I hope that he's right. I hope that Mac is
- 37:55Speaker 1: the guy and takes us all the way. But right
- 37:57Speaker 1: now it's a little bit of blind faith because we
- 38:00Speaker 1: haven't really seen it yet. Where Okay, we know we
- 38:04Speaker 1: can do it. We just got to get some few
- 38:06Speaker 1: things right and he's gonna be fine. Well, you know,
- 38:09Speaker 1: blind faith. That doesn't make sense because faith is believing
- 38:13Speaker 1: it before you see it. Well yeah, so so faith, Yes,
- 38:17Speaker 1: blind faith. Faith is already a little bit redune that. Yeah,
- 38:24Speaker 1: you become very easy to defend. But blind faith. But
- 38:28Speaker 1: I mean, there is some type of confidence derived it
- 38:32Speaker 1: from or derived from what you've seen, like Okay, I've
- 38:36Speaker 1: seen him do it before. I have faith that he's
- 38:39Speaker 1: going to do it again. But we haven't really seen
- 38:42Speaker 1: it yet. Are we still holding on to like last
- 38:44Speaker 1: year's Cleveland game? Is that the thing that you hold
- 38:47Speaker 1: up you know what I mean? I mean, I suppose
- 38:49Speaker 1: you could make that argument like if you if you
- 38:51Speaker 1: did it, then you can do it right. It is
- 38:54Speaker 1: because he didn't right ourselves. Used to say, everyone, so
- 38:58Speaker 1: I break on parselves? Is yeah, Well, used to say,
- 39:00Speaker 1: if they don't bite when they're puppies, they're not gonna
- 39:03Speaker 1: bite when they're dogs. No, I can never tell you
- 39:05Speaker 1: you didn't do it, you know. So we're looking for
- 39:07Speaker 1: that dog. Yeah, that thing that tells us all right,
- 39:11Speaker 1: Max got it, he's got that. This game, to me,
- 39:14Speaker 1: is set up for him to do that because last week,
- 39:18Speaker 1: I know a lot of people I'm not gonna name names,
- 39:20Speaker 1: a lot of people have been using using note not
- 39:22Speaker 1: anybody in this necessarily. I have been using the wind
- 39:25Speaker 1: as an Oh it was a windy day, and this
- 39:28Speaker 1: isn't a good day to pass the football, and the
- 39:31Speaker 1: uprights were shaken, but are and these are the things
- 39:35Speaker 1: that are being set right. And I did this this
- 39:40Speaker 1: is awesome in this game. Minnesota's defense is good enough
- 39:44Speaker 1: where I will not say, oh, he was playing the
- 39:46Speaker 1: Lions or he's playing the Browns that there was zero
- 39:49Speaker 1: resistance and they're in a dome, So like this should
- 39:52Speaker 1: be a game where they should be able to throw
- 39:54Speaker 1: the football a little bit. Now, can the offensive line
- 39:56Speaker 1: hold up and give him time to throw the football.
- 39:58Speaker 1: It's a totally different part of the equation, but in theory,
- 40:02Speaker 1: just going off the conditions of this game going in,
- 40:06Speaker 1: I want to see them be able to throw the
- 40:08Speaker 1: football with some efficiency in this game. Like I should
- 40:10Speaker 1: be able to watch the game on Friday and be
- 40:12Speaker 1: able to break down a dozen throws of his that
- 40:16Speaker 1: he made good or bad. But he should be able
- 40:18Speaker 1: to throw the football. Yeah, do you feel like because
- 40:21Speaker 1: they I mean they're high percentage zone team, that you
- 40:23Speaker 1: know that this isn't like our lack of athleticism and
- 40:26Speaker 1: receiver and tight end is going to get suffocated by
- 40:28Speaker 1: tough man coverage. We have supposedly smart receivers who can
- 40:32Speaker 1: find holes in zone coverage, and you should be able
- 40:33Speaker 1: to execute. Maybe. Yeah, there's a lot of there's a
- 40:36Speaker 1: lot of things that I think favored the Patriots being
- 40:39Speaker 1: able to throw. I mean, they're the second worst team
- 40:41Speaker 1: in the league against play action. The Vikings in terms
- 40:43Speaker 1: of their defense nine point nine yards attempt right now
- 40:46Speaker 1: against play action. There basically play split safety zone. Fifty
- 40:49Speaker 1: percent of the time. It's either quarters or Cover six.
- 40:52Speaker 1: It's very predictable, a Bill said yesterday. They do what
- 40:55Speaker 1: they do right, like, you know, they know exactly what
- 40:57Speaker 1: they're going to do against them, so it's time to
- 41:00Speaker 1: see it like this is It's funny. The Vikings even
- 41:03Speaker 1: years ago, always had that kind of you know, identity
- 41:07Speaker 1: on defense, like they never adjusted. You know, they were
- 41:11Speaker 1: this Cover two team, you know, and they never like well,
- 41:14Speaker 1: they never adjusted. You know what I was about to
- 41:16Speaker 1: bring up, And I don't know this is going too
- 41:18Speaker 1: far back, but oh six, I remember, you know, through
- 41:20Speaker 1: the first and I looked at it today, like I
- 41:21Speaker 1: don't know, seven weeks of the season, oh six, they struggled.
- 41:23Speaker 1: They didn't have Dion Branch. They went and got what
- 41:26Speaker 1: Doug Gabriel from Vegas. I mean, it was just kind
- 41:28Speaker 1: of a mess. And then all of a sudden against Minnesota,
- 41:30Speaker 1: I think it was Monday Night football maybe, like they
- 41:33Speaker 1: just exploded for like four hundred hours of offense and
- 41:35Speaker 1: you know, and I know the teams were way different now,
- 41:37Speaker 1: but I just same kind of thing where it's like
- 41:39Speaker 1: these questions about the Patriots offense and then to use
- 41:41Speaker 1: Paul's phrase to get right game where they just face
- 41:44Speaker 1: the defense that kind of plays and Brady just tore
- 41:48Speaker 1: them apart. And here's where it's very dangerous to do it,
- 41:51Speaker 1: but I do it anyway. I fall into these traps
- 41:53Speaker 1: all the time. Like the thing that I just saw
- 41:55Speaker 1: with Minnesota was Tony Pollard like being a big part
- 41:58Speaker 1: of the passing game, and I think, well, what's Mac
- 42:01Speaker 1: Jones been doing the last month, you know, five six
- 42:03Speaker 1: times seven times a game. Ermandre Stevenson's been getting thrown to.
- 42:08Speaker 1: And I'm not telling you that he's gonna be Tony
- 42:11Speaker 1: Pollard and turn that into a sixty eight Young touchdown.
- 42:13Speaker 1: But I think they could make some chunk plays in
- 42:15Speaker 1: those zones where you know, you kind of you leave
- 42:20Speaker 1: in this gaps that that you know, like you can't
- 42:22Speaker 1: put what you know. I don't want to say it
- 42:24Speaker 1: the wrong way, So I mean they play too high,
- 42:27Speaker 1: too high. They played cover two quarters, cover six, which
- 42:31Speaker 1: is all the two high family. And you see Eric
- 42:33Speaker 1: Kendricks running to the sideline last week try to chase
- 42:36Speaker 1: Tony Pollard. I could see that this week. Yeah, yeah,
- 42:38Speaker 1: you know, and again that's dangerous. That's one game and
- 42:41Speaker 1: maybe it was a bad game, yea for Minnesota, maybe
- 42:44Speaker 1: that's very atypical of what they do. But I think
- 42:46Speaker 1: Ermandre Stevenson could be a big part of the passing game.
- 42:49Speaker 1: How much pressure do you think is on Patricia and
- 42:51Speaker 1: I mean, I know we a lot, but generally for
- 42:54Speaker 1: this game and everything we talked about like, is this
- 42:56Speaker 1: a game where you feel like you need a good
- 42:59Speaker 1: offensive coordinator who can scheme, you know, well against this
- 43:02Speaker 1: kind of stuff? You know what I mean? A better
- 43:04Speaker 1: offensive line before well you need to be a little
- 43:07Speaker 1: creative to hide your warts on the offensive line. Yeah,
- 43:10Speaker 1: that's something to me, is that everybody talks about how
- 43:13Speaker 1: bad the offensive line is. The offensive line is bad.
- 43:15Speaker 1: We know the offensive line is bad. So you can't
- 43:18Speaker 1: go into the game and call five step drops out
- 43:20Speaker 1: of shotgun with everybody's one on one and expect them
- 43:22Speaker 1: to be able to block people because you know it's
- 43:24Speaker 1: not going to happen. So if you're gonna try to
- 43:26Speaker 1: drop a player to get down the field, and it's
- 43:28Speaker 1: gonna have to be this seven man protect from under
- 43:31Speaker 1: center with play action and dress it up and be
- 43:34Speaker 1: able to give them some help. But I think that's
- 43:36Speaker 1: what happened consistently in this Jets game, is they made
- 43:39Speaker 1: some progress down the field and they went back into
- 43:41Speaker 1: shotgun and all of a sudden, you know what, you
- 43:46Speaker 1: got Yasier Durant in my head, Yanni could use is
- 43:49Speaker 1: one on one against John Franklin Myers and he gets,
- 43:52Speaker 1: you know, put into the ground and Mac Jones is
- 43:54Speaker 1: on the ground too. You know, like this is that's
- 43:57Speaker 1: what happened this entire last game. But I think, you know,
- 44:00Speaker 1: the Tony Pollard point, Dad Prescott just scanning through his
- 44:04Speaker 1: reads ridiculously fast and that. Yeah, yeah, it's just you know,
- 44:10Speaker 1: the one that he hit Pollard on the thirty yard touchdown.
- 44:13Speaker 1: He starts on the left side, he goes sluggo seem
- 44:16Speaker 1: check down like in like a second, and that when
- 44:18Speaker 1: you play these zone defenses, they follow your eyes right.
- 44:21Speaker 1: So he's starting with his eyes to his left, but
- 44:24Speaker 1: he ends up hitting Pollard in the flat to the right,
- 44:26Speaker 1: and so the whole zone is moved over here and
- 44:29Speaker 1: he's able to get to a backside and hit the checkdown.
- 44:31Speaker 1: So if Mac is going through his progressions as quickly
- 44:34Speaker 1: as Dak was in that game, then that's a real
- 44:37Speaker 1: sign of progress I made over the years. Whether it
- 44:39Speaker 1: was bledsoeer Brady, there were times where for whatever reason,
- 44:43Speaker 1: the offensive line was in trouble and they would use
- 44:45Speaker 1: max protect, they keep a tight end in, they keep
- 44:48Speaker 1: the running, you know, and they still figured out how
- 44:51Speaker 1: to run an offense. You know, but it's up to
- 44:53Speaker 1: the quarterback, like like Evans said, he's gonna make a
- 44:56Speaker 1: quick decision, you know, because you know you're not going
- 45:00Speaker 1: to have as many weapons because you're holding them back
- 45:02Speaker 1: to protect you. So you've got to go with your
- 45:05Speaker 1: first read. It's an interesting observation to me, just as
- 45:08Speaker 1: I think that was one of the things that we
- 45:09Speaker 1: thought about Mac, that he was smart, that he could
- 45:11Speaker 1: go through reads. I mean, you know, watching him and
- 45:13Speaker 1: Alabama and all the you know, scouting tape and everything
- 45:15Speaker 1: that you know came out when he was coming out
- 45:17Speaker 1: of that was you know, he can do it. And
- 45:20Speaker 1: I think we've seen him this year get locked on
- 45:22Speaker 1: guys and you know, one particular Thornton up the sideline.
- 45:25Speaker 1: I forget what play that was, but you know it
- 45:27Speaker 1: has happened. So I mean, it's just it's it's interesting
- 45:29Speaker 1: if he's going to be able to kind of break
- 45:31Speaker 1: that and get through these things and be able to
- 45:33Speaker 1: go through those progressions again. So I came out of
- 45:35Speaker 1: that last game last week not really too feeling too
- 45:38Speaker 1: much angst about mac Jones. I just I Tamaris, they
- 45:41Speaker 1: got to protect him, like they just they have to
- 45:43Speaker 1: do better, They have to scheme it, whatever it is.
- 45:44Speaker 1: You have to give him time. It just seems like
- 45:46Speaker 1: nothing else is more critical than allowing everything. I might
- 45:51Speaker 1: as well be like a fifteen year old on the
- 45:52Speaker 1: middle school bus somewhere a lot of angst Todd's in
- 45:56Speaker 1: North Carolina. Hey Todd, Hey guys. My question is when
- 46:02Speaker 1: we had mcdonnels here, you always seem to throw in
- 46:03Speaker 1: a trick play and was he using those just to
- 46:06Speaker 1: kind of get the confidence of the team up? Was
- 46:08Speaker 1: he just trying to, you know, get something started with
- 46:10Speaker 1: those things, And if that works, why don't we use
- 46:14Speaker 1: it now? Like put Marcus Jones, like Andy said, and
- 46:17Speaker 1: I think I can't remember who something said, put Marcus
- 46:19Speaker 1: Jones doing an end around with him or something. Well, yeah,
- 46:23Speaker 1: they've been given given the ball to Agalore once in
- 46:26Speaker 1: a while, they thorton, they've given the ball in the
- 46:28Speaker 1: batfield too. I think I think probably should have been
- 46:32Speaker 1: a touchdown. I think the ball he's more talking about
- 46:36Speaker 1: the like you know, Jacobe Meyers I talk about. Yeah,
- 46:40Speaker 1: I agree. I mean, that'll happen, you know, But I
- 46:43Speaker 1: think they're just working on the fundamentals right now, you know.
- 46:46Speaker 1: I mean, it is interesting it hasn't happened because they
- 46:48Speaker 1: would always felt like we always kind of use those
- 46:49Speaker 1: plays as an indictment on the offense at like conventionally, right,
- 46:52Speaker 1: they have to resort to they have to resort to
- 46:54Speaker 1: some trick play to beat guys, whether you know, throwing
- 46:56Speaker 1: a fullback of land and Robertson down the sideline or
- 46:59Speaker 1: things of thatcher But I mean, why not, Like, I mean,
- 47:04Speaker 1: it's a good question because you had certainly had trouble.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I mean, what was the they had Myers throw pass
- 47:09Speaker 1: though this year right to Aglore Right they had early
- 47:11Speaker 1: in the season. I think they had they I think
- 47:14Speaker 1: so yeah, you know, they've done yeah, one or two
- 47:20Speaker 1: Myers is not throwing a past this show they had.
- 47:22Speaker 1: I think was it Born or ag I think it
- 47:24Speaker 1: was Born that threw the past to Agglore last year
- 47:27Speaker 1: because they had Myers and Born throw passes last year.
- 47:30Speaker 1: So no one this show nothing. Why does Mac look
- 47:34Speaker 1: more nervous in the shotgun because I've rewatched the game
- 47:37Speaker 1: and nobody can look. I don't know he can see
- 47:46Speaker 1: it coming. Thanks? All right, Thanks, Let's go to Hawaii.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Wills in Hawaii? What's up? Will Will? Thank you guys,
- 47:58Speaker 1: Thank you guys for taking them off call. First of all,
- 48:00Speaker 1: because I gotta get this off my chest over I'm
- 48:02Speaker 1: gonna have an aneurysm or something. Look, we have our
- 48:07Speaker 1: franchise quarterback, and you guys know where I'm going with this.
- 48:10Speaker 1: We have them. The only thing is politics is keeping
- 48:14Speaker 1: him on the sideline. And you should break out my
- 48:18Speaker 1: little poll. So you like Brian Hoyer? No, I know
- 48:22Speaker 1: you think Bailey's appy is a franchise quarterball. Now here's
- 48:26Speaker 1: the thing, guys, here's the thing, because that's where we're going.
- 48:29Speaker 1: I mean, I hear all the excuses from Mac Jones.
- 48:32Speaker 1: I mean they are talking about the old line, they're
- 48:34Speaker 1: talking about the weather, they're talking about his ankle and
- 48:37Speaker 1: I was right there with them until Bailey's appy wasn'tserted
- 48:41Speaker 1: into that game, and I said, I liked the cut
- 48:43Speaker 1: of this guy's jim. I liked it from day one.
- 48:46Speaker 1: And then he went on and it was Detroit, and
- 48:51Speaker 1: then it was Cleveland and then and then they put
- 48:54Speaker 1: him in the Chicago game and I knew it was over.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I said, this is the guy. But everybody point to
- 49:00Speaker 1: the second half and they won't give him a pass
- 49:02Speaker 1: like they give macapare That last part. I would agree with, Yeah, no, no,
- 49:09Speaker 1: because I would say that listen, I'm not a big
- 49:12Speaker 1: Bailey zappy guy. Everybody knows that. But Zeppy like it
- 49:17Speaker 1: was like they were waiting for him to have to
- 49:19Speaker 1: fail and then as soon as he failed, see whereas like, yeah,
- 49:24Speaker 1: the office didn't look any worse in the second half
- 49:26Speaker 1: of the Chicago game than it's looked the last month.
- 49:29Speaker 1: And to this guy's to Will's point, like everybody's like, oh,
- 49:33Speaker 1: that's the weather now, not to Evan's point, because Evan
- 49:36Speaker 1: made fun of the people who were questioning the weather.
- 49:38Speaker 1: By the way, how did Zach Wilson play on Sunday
- 49:40Speaker 1: have anything to do with the weather or was it
- 49:41Speaker 1: like the page exactly. Robert Salad doesn't feel like the
- 49:46Speaker 1: weather was a factor. Now, I the thing about Bailey
- 49:51Speaker 1: Zappy against Chicago is just that what we had been
- 49:53Speaker 1: saying all along for those two games against De Troyd
- 49:56Speaker 1: and Cleveland is that everything was dressed up for him
- 49:58Speaker 1: to be perfectly executed for the quarterback, right you know,
- 50:01Speaker 1: you have like I was just talking about seven man protect,
- 50:04Speaker 1: play action, two guys in the route, and he's reading
- 50:07Speaker 1: really one guy to figure out where he's going with
- 50:09Speaker 1: the football, and you know, is his simplified max protect
- 50:13Speaker 1: type of situations. And then when they got down against Chicago,
- 50:16Speaker 1: will now play action and all that kind of stuff
- 50:18Speaker 1: isn't really gonna work when you're down by two touchdowns
- 50:20Speaker 1: because why are they reacting to a play fake? And
- 50:22Speaker 1: then he had to actually run a real you know,
- 50:25Speaker 1: shotgun or a type of offense with traditional drop backs
- 50:29Speaker 1: without all of this bells and whistles, and that's when
- 50:31Speaker 1: it didn't look as good. So I think that's really
- 50:34Speaker 1: the main thing with that. Yeah, and again I just
- 50:37Speaker 1: look at the skill set and I'm not sold, But yeah,
- 50:39Speaker 1: I will say that everybody was just sort of waiting
- 50:43Speaker 1: to say, seat seat, Like, Okay, well they ignored the
- 50:46Speaker 1: two touchdowns in the second quarter. Let's let's just we're
- 50:51Speaker 1: Parker Moss is a focus on the two picks is
- 50:53Speaker 1: that we're gonna give We're gonna give him credit for
- 50:56Speaker 1: Parker going up above two guys and making a ridiculous catch. Mean,
- 51:00Speaker 1: did anybody say that about ignore like the touchdown to
- 51:03Speaker 1: the Nelson Agolo that, yeah, that everybody said that was
- 51:05Speaker 1: just a great catch. Okay, I don't remember that or
- 51:08Speaker 1: they I don't remember anybody saying that. I remember people
- 51:10Speaker 1: saying he actually underthrew it, yeah, or the yeah he
- 51:14Speaker 1: threw to Jacobe Meyers. He's great, that's what I remember.
- 51:18Speaker 1: You gave him a chance to make a play like, no, no,
- 51:21Speaker 1: I remember. I just look. Here's here's what Here's what
- 51:24Speaker 1: really stinks about the situation is sports doesn't work. You
- 51:29Speaker 1: can't have both of them play and see what would
- 51:32Speaker 1: have happened. Like the Zappy people will tell you unequivocally
- 51:36Speaker 1: that it would have looked better in the last month
- 51:38Speaker 1: if Zappy was playing. And the Mac people will tell you,
- 51:41Speaker 1: and I'm one of the Mac people that will tell
- 51:43Speaker 1: you it wouldn't it wouldn't have looked better with with Zappy,
- 51:47Speaker 1: but there's no way of knowing because you can't play
- 51:49Speaker 1: him both in the same you know, the same circumstances.
- 51:52Speaker 1: But the Bears game was literally two plays. Well, I
- 51:55Speaker 1: told me literally, you know that I'm you know, I'm
- 51:57Speaker 1: on your side of Yeah, I just like you. You
- 52:00Speaker 1: don't have fact that we're still take some calls about
- 52:02Speaker 1: Bailey's Appy is just it's because here's the thing of
- 52:06Speaker 1: just because you and I think one thing doesn't mean
- 52:08Speaker 1: we're right. That's why would take That's why I would
- 52:11Speaker 1: taking calls on I think it's something that we you know,
- 52:13Speaker 1: talked about when Bailey's Appy was starting, and that is
- 52:16Speaker 1: that I think it's more an indictment on Mac Jones
- 52:19Speaker 1: that it is necessarily. I think this last caller saying
- 52:22Speaker 1: that they have a franchise quarterback in Bailey's Appy is
- 52:24Speaker 1: a little bit of a reach. But you know how
- 52:26Speaker 1: I with you. If you're out on Mac Jones, then
- 52:30Speaker 1: then pivot to the next thing, right, you know. That's
- 52:32Speaker 1: I think this sort of the general feeling, and I
- 52:34Speaker 1: don't necessarily disagree with people that feel like Mac might
- 52:37Speaker 1: not be the long term answer, but it's I don't
- 52:39Speaker 1: think Bailey's appy is either. I just think it's more
- 52:42Speaker 1: the fact that people are out on Mac if that's
- 52:44Speaker 1: why this show was great. Though. We had a guy
- 52:46Speaker 1: call in unequivocally that Mac is going to win a
- 52:49Speaker 1: Super Bowl, right, and then another guy call in unequivally
- 52:52Speaker 1: and say, we have a franchise quarterback because of politics
- 52:55Speaker 1: isn't playing And I'm not here to pick on either
- 52:58Speaker 1: either one of those calls like that, those are your opinions.
- 53:01Speaker 1: They couldn't be further apart. But that's what that's why
- 53:05Speaker 1: it's a good show. So how long do you give
- 53:07Speaker 1: Max to figure out if he's the car next year?
- 53:10Speaker 1: Next year? Yeah, I think after the third year you
- 53:12Speaker 1: have to decide on the fifty year option. You have
- 53:14Speaker 1: to figure out what that fifth year option, because he's
- 53:16Speaker 1: the fifteenth overall pick is not jump change. You know
- 53:19Speaker 1: that's going to be ten plus million dollars in his
- 53:21Speaker 1: fifth season. I think Isaiah wins is like ten point
- 53:24Speaker 1: five or ten point six and he was picked what
- 53:27Speaker 1: twenty third I think in that draft, so fifteenth an
- 53:31Speaker 1: hour talking about it a couple of years later, is
- 53:33Speaker 1: it more? I mean, is it more for a quarterback.
- 53:36Speaker 1: It's more based off of where you were drafted in
- 53:38Speaker 1: the order. No, I know, it's like the first three
- 53:40Speaker 1: and then the next, Yeah, the tiers of the first round.
- 53:43Speaker 1: But I thought position. I thought I had something too.
- 53:45Speaker 1: It might be a little yeah, it might not. It
- 53:46Speaker 1: might not. I think might be. They might be pushing
- 53:49Speaker 1: fifteen twenty million on that fifth year. And plus you know,
- 53:52Speaker 1: at some point, if you really like the guy, you
- 53:55Speaker 1: don't wait until fifth year. You want to extend him.
- 53:58Speaker 1: That's what I said. After the third year, right, that's
- 54:00Speaker 1: when you're gonna have to figure out if you want
- 54:02Speaker 1: this guy to be your your guy. Like like Cleveland
- 54:05Speaker 1: gave Baker may Field the fift year option, right, that
- 54:08Speaker 1: meant they weren't sure and he ultimately didn't make it
- 54:11Speaker 1: through the fifth year because they ended up trading him
- 54:13Speaker 1: after the fourth year. Um, Daniel Jones, Daniel Jones did
- 54:18Speaker 1: not get the fifth year option. He's playing out the
- 54:20Speaker 1: string now and they're winning games. But kind of like
- 54:23Speaker 1: Mac Jones, I mean that's probably are a lot of
- 54:25Speaker 1: people are convinced that he's why. Yeah, there's a lot
- 54:28Speaker 1: a lot of crap. I'm just like with both well,
- 54:31Speaker 1: I guess with Daniel Jones and Mac Jones, it's like,
- 54:34Speaker 1: do you give him a pass? Because Daniel Jones has
- 54:37Speaker 1: gone through multiple coaches? The same thing with Mac it's
- 54:41Speaker 1: like multiple coaches, slash injuries, slash do you give him?
- 54:46Speaker 1: Do you give a pass there? Do you? I mean?
- 54:48Speaker 1: I think, does this your account? I can't spend this
- 54:50Speaker 1: factor in, Yeah, you can't spend this much time railing
- 54:53Speaker 1: against the offensive changes and what they the guys that
- 54:56Speaker 1: they inserted to do this and not give him at
- 54:59Speaker 1: least some kind of understanding that. Yeah, but you know
- 55:02Speaker 1: I also do wonder and stuff. And I don't mean
- 55:04Speaker 1: this in any way to to start down the path
- 55:06Speaker 1: of like defending Mattichus or giving more map pischers a time,
- 55:09Speaker 1: but like, what is the acceptable um, you know, kind
- 55:12Speaker 1: of allowance for era for a new play caller. You know,
- 55:16Speaker 1: like if you were to bring in, let's say, we
- 55:17Speaker 1: promoted Nick Kayley, we've reached it. Yeah, is that I mean?
- 55:20Speaker 1: But you know what I mean, Like I saw it's
- 55:22Speaker 1: funny that you brought that up. I saw in sports
- 55:24Speaker 1: on the Sports Hub with Bert Breer. You know, just
- 55:28Speaker 1: the possibilities of Nick Kayley being the guy next year,
- 55:31Speaker 1: and I wouldn't. There's something to that because yeah, because
- 55:34Speaker 1: he they wanted him to go Vegas and Belichick held
- 55:38Speaker 1: him back. He let everybody else go, but he held
- 55:41Speaker 1: Nick Kayley back but then didn't give him anything. But
- 55:43Speaker 1: didn't give him anything. You're not ready, but I still
- 55:46Speaker 1: want you here. And let's also there's something there. He's
- 55:49Speaker 1: also coaching the smallest position group on the team. There's
- 55:52Speaker 1: only two tight ends on the on the roster, So
- 55:55Speaker 1: not only did they not give him more responsibility in
- 55:57Speaker 1: terms of play calling or something like that, but he's
- 56:00Speaker 1: also just coaching tight ends still and there's only two
- 56:02Speaker 1: of them. I mean, everything you're talking about, though, friend,
- 56:05Speaker 1: and everything is said about ni Ka, it makes me
- 56:07Speaker 1: think that there's a strong chance he's he's gone. That
- 56:10Speaker 1: I was fends and he's out, That's what I was
- 56:12Speaker 1: speaking of gone. I think they're gonna leave without him,
- 56:14Speaker 1: all right, Evan and I have to leave to get
- 56:17Speaker 1: on the bus. Which time do you have to be
- 56:19Speaker 1: in the bus? Well, I was supposed to be twelve thirty,
- 56:21Speaker 1: but um so these guys will stay obviously and show
- 56:25Speaker 1: like this is how he shows you, Like, do you
- 56:27Speaker 1: know who I am? They just she'll show up. I
- 56:29Speaker 1: didn't do my picks yet. Yeah, did you give him?
- 56:31Speaker 1: We can? Why don't you tweet him to Paul and
- 56:33Speaker 1: I'll send him to tweet tweet him. Yeah, you just
- 56:36Speaker 1: send me some picks. I'm gonna be Unfortunately, I'm gonna
- 56:39Speaker 1: guess that I'm not gonna get the the fifthy little
- 56:42Speaker 1: comments that go along with you might Okay, he got
- 56:44Speaker 1: sit on the bus for like two hours before they leave. Well,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I'll find out what the spreads are and all that stuff. Yeah. Um,
- 56:52Speaker 1: we're having a hard time because the globe hasn't been
- 56:53Speaker 1: putting the entire schedule in, so I've been going online
- 56:56Speaker 1: and getting them from other places to take a picture
- 56:59Speaker 1: of here. Fen, I'm gona take a picture of this
- 57:00Speaker 1: and then Texas. All right, so those would be close. No,
- 57:04Speaker 1: but they'll be. It'll it'll give him. Um, So why
- 57:07Speaker 1: don't you reset. We'll take a quick break. All right,
- 57:09Speaker 1: you get out of here. You guys will be back.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Chris is in the booth. Now what happened to Maddie
- 57:15Speaker 1: had to leave? Yeah? You don't all right? He had
- 57:19Speaker 1: all right, he had a check out, all right, Good luck.

- 1:03:14Speaker 1: But I can't You can't find a turkey. You're not
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: a good hunter. You need to say, Oh yeah, it's
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: all over the place and there I would soon. They're
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: pretty easy to shoot. They're huge. Now maybe it's all
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: feathers and you miss and you gotta hit, you know,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: center of man. Some of them go on the offensive though,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: there's oh yeah, they mark you, yeah, and they attack.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: I could see you being made a turkey's bitch. Oh

- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Just gonna be a lively first hour. I was so,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I was glad we got Fred and Evan and now
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: they're waiting in the long line. It's too bad we
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: can't open the door and just reveal the train of
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Patriots employees and players that are are going through security.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: They do that here instead of going to the airport,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: walking through battle detectives, getting bags checked, all of those,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: all of those things. Now, when I stopped traveling, pretty
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: much every team had gone to security at the stadium.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: There are some that still required it to be done
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: at the airport, but that makes it much more difficult.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: It's pretty cool because obviously when you're at the stadium,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: people trickle through on their own time and you get through.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: There's no real lines. Yeah, and when you do it
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: at the airport, you have six buses when the people
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: at the same time. Yeah, yeah, we're bus six right
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: last I know it was it was fun. I enjoyed
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: my one, my one trip this year on the on
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: the team playing the first time. It's flying in style.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: But yeah, so it's deuced. It's Tamara, it's Paul. We're
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: gonna take you here through the last hour until Thanksgiving,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: of course, Big game tomorrow night Patriots National Television, the Nightcap.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: What's your favorite game, Paul? Of the of the Thanksgiving
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: games you usually get him or like, because sometimes you
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: got to manage the food. Yeah. I mean I generally
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: watch a good amount of the Lions game because it's
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: usually sitting around picking at like uh, who is divorce? Uh?
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: And uh, you know, maybe cracking open a coldy. Yeah.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: And then I almost see none of the Cowboys game
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: because that's usually when we're reading. Yeah. Um, and I
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: depending on like last year, I think the Bills played
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: in the night game. Last year, I want to say, yeah,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I think that was Yeah, So I want to watch
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: the Bills play because they're the Bills. Um. A lot
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: of times I don't watch the night game at all.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I'm usually just kind of Turkey dow tired too much?
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Eaton you gotta get you got a big day of leftovers?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: What are you too? Maryon? What do you you watch
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: football on the Thanksgiving? Is that a college it's no
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: college football? That was there? This is one Oh Chris
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: there it is. UM. It depends. So usually this time
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: of the year, UM, I am in Blacksburg or Charlottes
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Charlottesville UM for Virginia Tech UVA. UM. Sometimes it is
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: played today or not today, but on Thanksgiving Day or
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Black Friday. UM. But this year that's not happening because
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: of everything that's that happened in Charlottesville. So the decision
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: yeah hard. It's hard to like take a rivalry game
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: where you're like, let's go kill yeah. Yeah. So I
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: feel like this year, UM, they made the right call
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: to cancel the game because I feel like that's like
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: usually my favorite game, look forward to it all year,
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: and emotions are high and just it just feels different.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: College game rivalry games of the Best. Actually went up
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: to UCHA in the locker room. I was like, who's
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: gonna win this weekending? You know, Michigan huse State. He
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: was like, you already knew the answer. I was like, well, actually,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: if I go ask ray Kwon McMillan the same question,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: he's going to give me a different answer. Um, he
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: had the varsity Michigan Varsity gackt on yesterday. Yeah, Evans,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: because some of the best some of the best interactions
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: with players are over those college games. Yeah. Um you
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: remember the Bush push for the USC games against Notre Dame. Um, Well,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: David Gibbons was guilty of an incredibly premature celebration coming
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: off the button. We were on a road trip and
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: we were coming off the bus and they all had
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: their little, you know, handheld TVs and whatnot, and he
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: went absolutely crazy on the play before when they went
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: out of member of the ball went out of bounds
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: of the funnel. They stopped him and looked like the
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: clock was going to expire. And then McGinnis just cool
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: and calm as can be when they knocked Matt Leinart
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: in the end zone for the touchdown and he just
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: busted his balls endlessly like that that some of that
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: stuff is like the most memorable. And then like you'll say,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I mean one year Damon Hugh had made Drew where
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: the Washington Show the most game from the Apple Cup one.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: You know, stuff like that happens all the time, and
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: they take it pretty seriously. And I would imagine the
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Michigan Ohio State one. I'm actually looking forward. This is
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: like the first Saturday that I don't have anything to do,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: but my nephew's done, my son's done. With the games
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: on Saturday Mornings with JV, I might and I think
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: the hun Down Saturday that both undefeated, Ya gonna be great? Yeah,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: and that and Michigan. Um, they haven't won recently though,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: have they have? They haven't beaten last year. That was
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: the first time of him. Last year, that was the
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: first time Harball, Harball beat him, I think too. Um
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: my favorite, I think my favorite game that I've watched
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: on Robberry Weekend is Auburn Alabama. The kick kick six
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: was on Black Friday. I believe, yes, and we went
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: absolutely admit I think it was Black Friday, but yeah,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: totally with you. That probably a missfield goal. They ran back. Yeah,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: it was like a fifty something yard field goal and
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: they had the guy back and he returned it. There
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: was about seventeen blocks in the back and they just
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: let it all go. It was unbelievable just watching Alabama
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: lose is always worth it for me. Yeah, I've seen
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: a lot of that this year. Well let's uh, let's
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: let's jump to the phones here we got h oh,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: what about you? I'll get to that after Nat from
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Santa Cruz and that. What's going on? Hey, hey, I
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: just want to say, first off, I'm thankful for this
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: iteration of Patriots from filter. Oh thanks Nat, appreciate Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: it's been really cool. So I was gonna have a
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: mac Bailey thought and ripping on short yardage, but I'm
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: gonna stay positive for the holiday weekend. Um. My question
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: is of the teams that are playing on Thanksgiving, Um,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: what are the outside of the Patriots? What are the
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: guys that you just like to watch on those other teams?
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: For me, I'm I like Dak and the and Tony Pollard,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: But I'm just curious for you. For you all, that's
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: a fun that's a good that's a good pre thanks
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: you eving kind of question. People won't like mine. Oh
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: well I'll say it for you. I mean I like
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: watching Josh, I like watching sorry not sorry, I mean
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: he's a little banged up. So I don't know if
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: you're going to get the full Josh Allen. But I
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: like watching Josh Allen play. I mean m Michael Parsons lately.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Michael Parsons is a guy. Like watching guys who every
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: snap could change the game in an instant. Um. I mean,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I'll go the opposite way. They'll Paula make fun of
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: me for this. They'll probably be good. But I don't
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: like watching my homes He just annoys me. And I
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: think he's amazing, Like I think he's awesome. I think
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: watching him just annoys me. When I don't like about
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: those guys is when they get so good that even
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: their bad plays are considered good. Like you know, like
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: he's just a competitive competitor. He's just trying to make
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: a pot. Like no, sometimes they make mistakes. But that
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: was like the human to throw in the the Super Bowl
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Mahomesby or it was like a completion, but he was
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: like vertical, you know, it's horizontal to the ground when
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: he threw it, and everyone's, uh, you know, going crazy
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: for it. But I don't know. He he annoys me.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: His voice annoys me. Every time he's press conferences. Come on,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I'm like I have to meet it every time. So
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: we're doing the TV one right, we're on We're on
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: YouTube today, So I like the this. He's a very
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: quirky guy. Mahomes and uh, you know he does the
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: with his head to the side, that guy. Have you
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: ever noticed this? I mean serious, have you ever noticed this?
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Like he wants them to huddle up. A lot of
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: guys will do the huddle up and they'll they'll clench
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: their hands together. He like tells us receivers to come here,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and his head goes down kind of doing like I
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: don't I don't look at this. I'm telling you. He
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: has a funny walk too. He has a lot of
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: little quirks. But I love watching I can't know and
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I and I like And I say that as somebody
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: who respects him and thinks he's an excellent I mean,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I think they're probably the best team in the league
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: right now. And you know all that. Like, I'm not
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: saying he's a bad court it's just you know, one
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: of those guys were like, I don't like his look,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I don't like how he walks, and you're like, he's amazing,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: but he just annoys me. So but I also think
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: that he's a pretty good teammate. Yeah, like he's not
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: like Aaron Rodgers. Like Aaron Rodgers, I can understand why
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: people's eye hate watching that guy play. Incredibly gifted. You
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: could make a really strong argument that no one's ever
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: been in that league that throws the ball like like
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers. I agree, no one has the quote arm
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: talent that Aaron Rodgers as. I hate watching him play. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I mean I remember seeing Aaron Rodgers do this drill um.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I don't know, it's like behind the scenes Packers thing,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: but it's like almost like you just kind of bend
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: over and you have the ball in between your legs
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: and you just kind of switch hands with it real quick,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: and the coaches were just saying they're like, no one
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: could ever do it as fast as Aaron Rodgers can.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Like he's just he's just such a phenomenal athlete. And
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: I think when people give like Brady crap about like, oh,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: he's not that athletic, you know, I know, he's an
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: a foal, but like Aaron Rodgers is like the epitome
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: of an athletic quarterback, and Rady's natural athlete to the core,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: because if you you do use those like traditional athletic traits,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: you know, like you know, speed, you know, strength, jumping ability,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: you know that kind of stuff. He probably doesn't. But
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: this is a guy who was drafted in Major League Baseball,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: right became the greatest quarterback ever to play. Not a
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: lot of like unathletic quarterbacks were the best who ever play,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: you know what I mean. There's kind of things that
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: don't well, it speaks to the quarterback position too, where
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: you know, decision making and an arm which you know
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: doesn't like it's hard to see a guy who hey,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: that guy looks like he has a great arm just
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: walking down the street. You know. It's like you watch
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: the Edelman thing, Yeah I did, I did. I watched.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: But that's a good thing to bring up. Yeah, okay,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: So when there's there's a little interaction and the Julian
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Edelman Football Life is going to debut Friday night. Friday night, Um,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: so that'll be on NFL network and obviously Patriots fans
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: will be interested in that. Um there's an interaction with
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: a young Edelman with Brady and Brady's telling him about
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: how to run a certain route. That to me, to
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: me is ten ten or fifteen second sound bite into
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: why Tom Brady is the greatest of all time, and
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: that's not It was that the one time, don't lean,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: don't lean, don't you lean, You're just leverage. Yeah, and
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: it's like, I don't have any idea what the route is.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: I don't have any idea what the context is. But
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: the subtlety of what he's talking about to me made
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: total sense. And the clip they showed and Tom loser
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: too much turkey, too much turkey already, She's tired. No,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: But I just thought that that sort of was a
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: window into Tom's like knowledge. Yeah, a lot of a
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: lot of great stuff. They sent us a screener for it,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: so definitely, you know, I eat that stuff up. And
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: and any time that they break out new Bill yelling
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: at guys in practice, I'm all in on that. Yeah.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I've been meaning to talk to Matt about it. I
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: assumed that we provided that footage with him. You know, Adelman,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: what do you dope? Edeman? I can't figure you out.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: But there's a really interesting moment, which you know, I
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: think also illustrates some of Bill and Edelman was saying
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: his first interaction with Bill was he was returning punts
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: and Bill came over and I'm not gonna get the
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: word it's exactly right, if that's unbelievable. But essentially, Peel's like,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: if it's a right footed punter and the ball's rotating backwards,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: it's going to be short and to the left. And
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: if it's a left foot punter and it's come an
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: end over end, it's gonna be long into the right.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Like you messed it up a little bit, but like
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: that's the level of jail, the level if the ball.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: If the ball, if it's a right footed punter and
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: the ball doesn't turn over, it's gonna come down short
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: to the right or to the left, do you know whatever?
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: And if it's and if it does turn over, you
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: know it's gonna be long into the other side. And
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: he said, you don't catch punts with your hands, you
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: catch punts with your feet. Like that to me was like, huh, right.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: And that's his first interaction with Bill Belichick as he
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: gets that's what I said, you know, that's the first
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: he never really spoke it to Bill China. I mean,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: it's a it's a cool episode. I mean, I think
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: everybody by this point knows Edelman and his dad have
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: a really special bond and it still gets me every
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: single time when you see Edelman up at the podium
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: looking down of his dad and saying, we did it.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: We did it dad, you know, and I mean as
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: you know, as a father, all that YadA YadA, YadA,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: but um, just how close they were and how you know,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: even I mean Edelman's dad gets choked up talking about
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: when Jules just couldn't do it anymore and tired when
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: he retired called him and you know, basically wanted the
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: wanted the I think they wanted the okay from the
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: old man. Um. You know. So there's just just a
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: really cool relationship between them. Um, so many great moments
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: talking about what we're get in trouble for, like telling
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: the whole entire story. We'll leave it that Friday night.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: That'll check it out. I'll do a little right up
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: to it. Is some of the you know, the moments
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: that kind of stood out to me. But lots of
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: lots of good stuff with with Jules as as always.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: And man, it was just tough watching too some of
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: the highlights from twenty twenty and just looking at him
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: and see it. Man, he just he was at the end.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I mean, there was no question he was struggling there. Uh,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: let's go to Sean and Vancouver. Hey, Sean, how are
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: you great? Great Mike, I have a couple of things.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Um about that. The thing about the Vikings you brought
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: up earlier. I think I have an explanation, even though
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: it's it's careful, I'm looking for an explanation. I'm just wanting.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: I'm not looking for Snart. I know it's it's hard.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I know it's hard to believe I'm not looking for Snart.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Maybe I can get the data point for tomorrow. Well,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: it's it's not it's not that significant. Basically, what they're
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: trying to say is late in the games, close games,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: the Vikings let up a bit, and there's four games
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: where they want but they had leads, and the leads
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: were eaten into a bit like Week three against the Lions,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Week four against Saint Week five against the Vikings. In
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Week eight against the Cards, they want all of them,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: but the other teams came back towards the end. I
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: don't think that's accurate getting that. I think that the
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Vikings were down ten in the fourth quarter against Detroit
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Well and against against the Lions are up twenty eight
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: to fourteen and the third and then then they won
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: twenty twenty four. Okay, well, oh all right, there's twenty Yeah,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: if that's I mean, if that's accurate, then that's that's bad.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: That's bad close and late. I don't I think it's accurate,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: bad Caddy, but it's yeah. And then there's other post
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: games that they want that that don't really follow that suit.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: But it's not a big deal. I'm appreciate you got
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: this to quit. Yeah. The question I have is Evans
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: has been talking about mac Wilson being the spine. I
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: really like that. But I noticed against the Jets and
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: the first Jets drive Zack Wilson scrambled a bit. He had,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: like one scramble that went for a first down. Was
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: mac Wilson not on the field, And because I didn't
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: notice him there, maybe they put in him later. I
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: do not recall. I'm not sure, but I think, I mean,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I think they've been using him a little bit. I mean,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: hasn't been a lot of those guys like the new
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: guys on defense, but I think enough to give him
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: a little bit different twist. It's a great role for him. Yeah,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: he's been better. I mean and now we'll see how
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: he does against Josh Allen. I mean, I think the
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Ravens have a Detroit was leading twenty four to fourteen
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: going into the fourth quarter of that game against the Vikings. Okay,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: that's one. All right, I'm gonna do a deep dive
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: on this, Paul. The Vikings outscored him fourteen to nothing
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter. When you get in tomorrow for
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: the People show, don't you worry. I'll good they came up.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: It came a little earlier. Cool, all right, thanks, Sean,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: appreciate it earlier listens. Yeah, Now, I'm like looking through
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: all their scores. It's not it's not that hard. Sometimes
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: you get something wrong and say, oh I was wrong. Yeah,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: they outscored him fourteen to nothing in the fourth quarter.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: There was no earlier or later like lay close. They
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: outscored the other team fourteen to nothing in that game. Now,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: that might be the only game. Every other game they
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: may have blown a lead and that's why it was close. Yeah,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: I don't think that's the case, but that could have been.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: But in that particular game, I remember Dan Campbell went
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: for it up ten in the fourth quarter in his
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: own territory, remember that. That's why. That's why it out
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: after he cried after that one, probably it's head down
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: to Roady, Neil and Warwick. What's going on new Hey? Hey,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: you guys do it good? Good? So question. I know
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: we're in the Vikings week, but a couple of weeks
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: ago when he played the Cold, why didn't they play
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: I know they play Sam ellen Ger, but why didn't
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: they play Nick Foles? He's like the Kryptina for the Patriots.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Second of all, before I head off, I have to
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: go back to work. What do you guys think about
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: the Ohio State game on Saturday? Go back eyes? Oh,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: he got that one in. I think Ohio State will
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: probably bounce back. And when they were in Batrass last year,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the Colts thing to me, I have no knowledge on this.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I think that the reason why Frank Reich is no
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: longer the Colts coaches because he refused to dump and
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: I think they wanted them to dump. And I think
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: that's part of why. I think he pushed back and
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I don't think they liked it. And then they went
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: and got Jeff Saturday and just Saturday say well, I'll
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: do this for you, but I'm playing I'm playing the
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: guys that I want to play that. I mean, again,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: I have no reason to know that that's fact. That's
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: just my opinion from afar. Like a week earlier, Jim
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Say said Chris and Frank are a big part of
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: our future. The next week he got fired. And I
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: think it's because Frank Reich said, screw you, I ain't
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: doing this for you. Yeah. I like it, Paul, I mean,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: and it fits like Erse too. I mean, it's just
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: it feels like they would reach a point where they say,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: we can't keep just signing a veteran quarterback off the
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: scrap heap every year. We have to suck for a
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: year and try to get a quarterback, you know, in
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: the top ten. And I think that they said, rather
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: than play Nick Foles, that doesn't do us any good
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: because that's just another one of these guys we're spinning
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: our wheels with. We need to find out can this
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: kid can he play? And if if he can play,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: then maybe that's the guy we go forward with. And
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: if he can't, we gotta figure out how we're going
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: to get a quarterback next year. Clearly he can't play. Yeah,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Like I know, it's I know, it's unfair after two
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: games to say a guy can't play, but that guy's overmatched. Yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: he was completely overmatched. Did you really need to see
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: him for two games? That's the question, you know, like,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: like you really he wasn't terrible terrible in the first game,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: like he wasn't the second game. But part of that
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: is because the Patriots defense was so good. Yeah, you know,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: it's hard. It's hard for me now with Mac to
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: to just see these teams that that get quarterbacks in
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: the mid rounds that end up being great, like a
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: Dak Prescott, Like how how does that happen? Like you're
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: just so all over quarterbacks because it really doesn't. Yeah, right,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: like Prescott and Russell Wilson. I'm brady at the end
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: of the list. But I also think that they had
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: just had a different skill set than back too, like
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: both Prescott. That's why I would have been interested with
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: some of those guys, you know, not our buddy Matis
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: loved Malik Willis. Yeah, last year third round pick. But
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: to Tamara's point, totally different athletic skill set than Kirk Cousins,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: who was a fourth round pick. Yeah, you know, how
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: do we feel about about Tannehill, Like I feel like
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: he's one of those Hills, an athletic guy. Yeah, like
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: he's He's just interesting to me because I think Tannehill
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: was a wide receiver in Texas. Yeah yeah, and he
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: can run like the wind. You don't really think of
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: that though, And I mean, I think he gets lumped
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: into like these kind of quarterbacks that he maybe doesn't
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: necessarily fit with, guys like Kirk Cousins and Mac. I mean,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: you mentioned the athleticism, but I don't know. He's playing.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: He's playing really good right now. So just one of
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: those weird things, hard to find a quarterback. Let's head
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: over to the emails here, they're stacking up Mancha Rizza,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I will This one comes from Brendan and Edmonton. With
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: all due respect to Thanksgiving, we're onto Christmas. Thank you
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: appreciate the Joe Judge reference. I wonder if we'll get
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: one of one of those today or tomorrow. Has Bill
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: has Belichick ever been more right about the season doesn't
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: start until after Thanksgiving? Now, if the Patriots win tomorrow,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: will that be true? Or if they lose, can we
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: say technically it wasn't that to Thanksgiving? Well, I guess
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: it depends on when after you eat right, you better
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: hope that he's not. You better hope that they break
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: from that pattern because they haven't played well late in
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: the year in a long time. Yeah, it's so true.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: I mean, it's such a big element. I think it's
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: hanging over this whole team. I mean, I'm not going
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: to go and ask any of the defensive guys that question,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: but you know, it's just it's got a it's gotta linger,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: and it's just the quality of play and and and
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: how drastic the results were, especially on his question, do
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: you think they've played better in the last like three
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: games and they didn't any one? Hard to say? Hard
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: to say, I can't blown on the table four. Like,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: I know, they've won whatever it is, four out of
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: five or five out of five out of six, I
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: don't know. I mean, but I don't think they've played
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: all that five out of six they've won. But I
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: mean I don't think they played any better or against
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: like indeed than they did against Green Bay. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: it's part of me feels like I just purposely had
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: the blinders on because until they play Buffalo, I feel
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: like that's the only truth I'm gonna get and no,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: and especially with like what I talked about earlier, like
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: they blow out bad teams, like this is what they do.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: They feast on those teams, and we've just been seeing
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: it for so long. It's like I haven't really even
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: blown them. That's the thing that worries you, Like, well,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: it's ten three, it's twenty two seventeen. But I would
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: say at least on the defensive side of the ball,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: they blew the jet, they hold, they hold they yeah,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: they hold those teams in check, you know. But I
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: thought this was kind of interesting. I printed this out,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I think, um Boston Sports Information tweeted it out. Just
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: thought it was interesting. Um just basically breaks down how
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: the defense has done against each of these quarterbacks that
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: they've faced, what the passer rating was against the Patriots,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: and then what the passer rating has been against other teams,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: which I don't really care. I saw this, I don't
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: really care about. I thought it was I thought it
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: was interesting. I mean I think the big one was,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: you know, Lamar Jackson is the only one who who
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: way overperformed um, you know against the Patriots defense was
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: just you know, lights out where he's you know, been
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: a little bit more in the middle of terms of
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: just the passer rating stuff. But um, you know, I
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: thought Alinger, I mean, who cares? You know, well, that's
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: kind of my point, right minus fifty four point five
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: passer raiders. So he he played two games, he was
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: reasonably efficient in one and terrible in the others. Like,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: is that's a bad example. What was to Da Da
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Dada two was sixteen point two passer raider differential. So
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: they the Patriots allowed him to go twenty three to
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: thirty three sixty nine point seven completion percentage, you know,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: through a touchdown, and then overall he's been a seventy
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: one point two percent passer with a one twenty rating,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: seventeen touchdowns, thirteen three interceptions. I mean, sorry, guys, but
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: TWA is playing lights out Aaron Rodgers justin Field's kind
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: of right on their average. But you know, just a
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: little bit of context. But again, it doesn't really matter,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: like until you go against Josh Allen and maybe wow,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: we had something like it does I mean, they don't
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: have to beat him, they don't have to shut them down,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: they don't have to hold them under twenty points like
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: they just have to show that they have some fight
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: and that they can force him into I think I
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: think what's interesting about the Bills. Obviously Josh Allen's great,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: but their defense has so many hurt people. They do
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: like they're people that are literally not going to play tomorrow.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: And that's and that's a big point towards Minnesota. When
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: they're talking about Minnesota beating Buffalo, it's like they had
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: four starters and they're setting very out and the part
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: that are literally not playing tomorrow. So it's like it's
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: going to be interesting. And that's one to me that
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: that I'll be interested in. For Boston sports imp, who
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: does a lot of really good stuff on Twitter. Yeah,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: that's worth a follow, by the way, for any any
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: local sports fans, any Boston sports fans. He does a
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: great job of cultivating that kind of stuff. But what
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: I didn't have any real interesting I like, I don't
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: care what like Zach Wilson does against every other team,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: but like I'll be I'll be interested in comparing like
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Kirk Cousins, who threw two picks and had like a
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: seventy five rating against Buffalo. I'll be curious to see
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: what he does against the Patriots. Is it better than that?
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: Is it worse than that? Is it the same? Do
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like, I don't care what
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: Kirk Cousins did against Chicago because I don't care what
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: Chicago does, you know, So like it's not to me.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: It's the teams that I'm fighting with, you know, Like
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: how did Kirk Cousins do against Miami? How did he
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: do against Buffalo? Not so good? You know? So he
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: maybe he ripped up green Bay because green Bay stinks,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: you know. But that's kind of where I and it's hard,
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: like I'm not going to ask him, like, hey, can
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: you cipher through all of the different scenarios, Like you're
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: just giving him the he's given you the numbers. The
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: Patriots have performed better defensively against these guys than those
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: guys have generally performed against everybody else. Yeah, the Patriots
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: have held them down further. That's the point that Boston
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: Sports Infant is trying to make. And that's a fact. Yeah,
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: those are numbers, yeah and that. But I think the
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: reason it doesn't move the needle as much is because, yeah,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: that's what would be a kind of scene for the
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: last few years when they play a team that they're
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: better than, they really really put the clamps down and
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: the scoreboard ends up looking, you know, even worse. If
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Josh Allen, Let's say Josh Allen has a regular game
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: against the Patriots, not ripping it up just like throw
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: us for two hundred and eighty yards and two touchdowns,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: no picks is the Jets defense? Does that show you
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: the Jets defense is better because they shut him down?
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: Like no, it's like one game. Yeah, it's it's it's
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: it's it's interesting debate. And even as much as I
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: respect the weapons, and I you know, I do have
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: respect for Kirk Cousins and respect the weapons backed him,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: I still don't know how much I'm gonna pound the
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: table if the Patriots go out there and just absolutely
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: confound him and you can see him too, right, like
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: if like, um, you were talking about all the sacks
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: that Dallas had Tamarrow in that game last week, seven sacks,
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: Like I can sit here and tell you what Kirk
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: Cousins wasn't ready to play. He get sacks seven times,
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: like Mac the other day, you getting sacks six times? Right?
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: I mean, how much of how much of a real
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: chance did Kirk Cousins having that game, if that's what
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: the Patriots due, and they just completely like, I'm not
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: gonna say, well, Jonathan Jones really took Justin Jefferson out. No,
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: Kirk Cousins was running for his life. Yeah, you know,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: you can kind of see it when you watch and
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: you're like, wow, secondary is pretty good, Adam feeling. Yeah,
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: kJ Osborne t J Hawkinson with with Jefferson Dalvin Cook
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: out of the backfield and he had some time to
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: throw and you shut him down. Yeah, you know. Or
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: the past rush is legit doesn't matter like they're gonna
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: get They're gonna get after these guys. I think if
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: I was in front of my computer right now, I
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: would we'll be looking up sacks on Justin on Josh
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: Allen because when you wrote Paul this week in the
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: notes about the Patriots pass rush, pressure kind of leading
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: the way. And I think the problem with Josh Allen
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: is like he's so good at getting away and he's
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: so hard to get that it almost negates the Patriots
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: pass rush to a degree. And then you start to see,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: all right, they formed the perfect pocket and he's just
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: standing in there, and I think he's at the point
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: now where he's not going to make as many of
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: those mistakes. He certainly hasn't in the last few games.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: I don't expect that to continue. I think he's kind
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: of in a little bit of a rut right now,
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: and I pray against all hope that, like the Patriots defense,
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: is what he needs to get right, because clearly he's
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: been great against them. For a proverbial get right game
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: that he wasn't changes the question against I think he
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: threw two picks in three straight games. Until last week
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: he didn't have any. But who knows, Maybe that elbow
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: was really bugging him. It's possible he didn't practice much
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: this week. Yeah again, and he's got to go right again.
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: Did they even just stay in Detroit? They didn't, They
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: came back. He I guess McDermott wanted the guys to
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: get back. I thought it was I thought it was
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: kind of an odd decision. I would have made sense
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: to me to stay there. Quick flight. It is a
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: quick flight. Rick and Louisville writes in He's got a
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: way in on what he says that there's one player
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: that is the best at his position, but it's also
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: easily the biggest douche on the field. Travis Kelsey, Kelsey
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: there he is, has ricks Rick coming in. I just
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: thought best player right his position, but kind of a douche.
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: I would put Travis Kelsey in that category. Yeah, I
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: put Digs in there too. I don't. I just don't
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: like Diggs. I don't know, he's just that's just because
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: of the TV plays beards. I love Josh Allen. I'm
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: all about the Josh Allen. I don't know. Um there
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: we go, um oh Sean Sean Road and Paul just said,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry I was wrong about the Lions game. I
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: looked at it backwards. Does that sense to you? Yeah,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: it does make sense to me. And that's like, that's
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: why I'm trying to reconcile the whole. They're terrible close
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: and late thing with every win, like literally seven out
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: of their eight wins is a one score game, Like
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: how bad could they have played down the stretching close
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: in late games and having won seven times in that situation,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: and the losses weren't close, so you know what I mean,
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: Like they lost twenty four to seven and forty to three,
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: so it's not like they blue games that were close late.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: I feel like like I I can't. Yeah, I'm just
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: trying to figure out how does that work? Coming hot
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: tomorrow and hopefully I'll have some some kind of answer
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: and he'll drive Hardy crazy. W'd be that? That'd be
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: beautiful great? I lift to do that. We could we
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: could spend fifteen minutes talking about Jaws, and then we
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: can we could segue right into the close and late
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: for the vikings and that his head will explode. I
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: was trying to think right now of a thing. Are
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: there any Why aren't there any Thanksgiving movies other than
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: plane Strains Automobiles? Right? Is that the only one that
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: trying to get home for Thanksgiving? Like they weren't really? Yeah,
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: and it does seem like there's a lot of movies
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: that kind of center around fa getting together for Thanksgiving,
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: but never it's not really about Thanksgiving, no please. Trains
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: Animals is classic, though, if those pillows, it's a great one.
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: How do they know where we're going? Alex from Rowley, Hey, guys,
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: a big fan of the show, was wondering how you
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: think we best to address covering Justin Jefferson in Thursday's game.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: I know Jack Jones or Jonathan Jones is going to
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: completely cover Jettas and told and hold him to nothing.
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: Is Jettas? Who's Jettas? Is that a nickname for somebody
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: jestin Jeffers nicknames Jetas. I don't know sure, but I
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: feel like we don't allow him to have an ungodly type.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: We should be able to stay competitive. I don't know,
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: he's kind of hit or miss Jefferson. Yeah, like he
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: had thirty three yards last week. He had a couple
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: of games earlier in the year. But you know, you
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: look at his numbers for the season, they're outstanding, fifteen
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: point two, crazy average per catch. He's been a full
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: participant this week, so I mean, I expect he'll be okay.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: I mean, I'm interested in in Dalvin Tomlinson. They're big
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: defensive tackle. Was a guy that I kind of liked here.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: They went with Godshaw that year. But I mean, just
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: you know, big stout guy in the middle. That might
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: be an interesting one. Um. I think the big play
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: scare me in this game, like a big score you'll
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: let Delvin play away to you know, you get an
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: easy one place score, those kind of things. I mean,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: it's just such a narrow edge for the Patriots, like
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: one play changed the game. You know, you toss it up.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: He owe, Justin Jefferson's totally blanketed, and you know he
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: just sticks up a pinky and catches the ball like
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: lands on his pinky. Cook scares me more than Justin Jefferson.
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: And that's interesting. That's interesting. Could I mean? No, I mean,
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: I do think the big place worry me because I
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: think if it's regular Patriots defense and they make them
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: go eight or ten plays, I think they'll get pressure
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: often enough to disrupt the drive. But if it's big plays,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: then obviously all it takes is one. That was the
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: fear on the Jets game, Like you're dominating this team
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: and all it takes is one guy to slip or
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: break a tackle and all of a sudden they get
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: points and you lose. That's why I think it's dangerous
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: to play that way. Yeah, and I know they didn't
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: play that way on purpose. I'm just saying. A couple
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: of people have written in about the Tom Tom Brady
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: Let's Go podcast. This one's from Suliman in the Bay Area.
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: Just said in the reason one of his recent episodes,
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: he talked about Belichick preaching that winning a game is
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: more of not losing it. It's it's something we hear
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: a lot, and yeah, I mean it's um, you know,
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: doing the simple things, tackling, blocking, kicking, being mistake free,
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: you'll tend to win more times than not. I think
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: these last couple of seasons to prove that to me,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: like not more than anything. It's always been true for
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: for the Patriots. They've always sort of allowed you to
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: beat yourself, been more than happy to say you go
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: and be reckless, you know, go throw the ball into
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: harm's way, and we'll take advantage of that. Bill and Vista, California.
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: He asked about the Edelman Um documentary. He just said,
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: the first question I have is if these documentaries usually
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: interest you, the second being what players would you like
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: to see featured? That's a good question. They do usually
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: interest me. I don't watch all them non Patriot I mean,
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: I definitely watch all the Patriot ones, but I UM,
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: I like a well done documentary, especially if it's you know,
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: like I don't need to have like a you know,
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: a four part series on you know, Tom Petty. I
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: have done one of those. I did watch the Eagles
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: document so two parts. That was pretty good. I kind
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: of like documentaries. Um, but yeah, pretty much any point
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: I like, Um, I don't know, Mike, you would just
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: kind of a blogger and didn't really go to journalism school.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: That's right, that's right. But they always they always teach
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: you like when you're when you're writing, when you're a writer,
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: and everybody has a story. So like we used to
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: have used to have all kinds of exercises we would do,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: like the person sitting next to you was charged, like
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: you had to write a story. I had to write
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: a story, and Tamara, Tamara had to write a story
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: on me. So I'm interviewing Tamara to find out her
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: life story. Like everybody has an interesting story. No one
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: came from nothing, like everybody came from something, And the
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: trick is, how do you make that story come to life?
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: How do you make it interesting? Even if there's not
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: really a lot of there there, how do you make
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: it interesting? I'm interested in pretty much any of those
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: player documentaries. I don't think there was anywhere near as
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: well done now as they were when they first started them. Yeah,
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: like some of the old players that you know, Roger Staubach, mean,
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: Joe Green, some of those Football Lifes were really really
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: well done. Now it's just like kind of mass produced,
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: very formulaic. And as much as I liked Edelman and
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: I love Edelman, I you know, I'm like I kind
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: of knew most of this stuff, like but we do,
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: but not like nationwide, like you don't know all the
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: stories and you don't know Bill saying, you know, Adelman,
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: I can't figure you out at you know like that.
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: It's just it's hard for me to top the first
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: one that build it. And you know, like for me
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: just getting to listen to him talk to the team.
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: I just like that's I just found that those football
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: life that he didn't in oh nine, Yeah that's the
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: one you liked. Ye Oh, I loved it. I love
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: Maybe that one is I'm guilty of im too, you were.
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: I mean really I am in it. I appear and
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: I appear in that one a couple of time. But
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: I mean, I mean I would I would literally single
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: out the interactions with him and Brady. Literally everything I
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: was interested in that season was left on the cutting
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: room floor or ignored. Yeah, the true drama. Why can't
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: you get this team to play for you? I mean,
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: I do obviously think it's crazy that, you know, the
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: one season they chose to do a two parter or Bill,
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: it's like maybe one of the worst things they had. Um,
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: I'll bet you Bill would tell you in totality that
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: was one of the three worst seasons that they had
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: and they made the playoffs. I'll bet you Heat liked
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: the O eight season better than the O nine season. Sure, yeah, well,
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: I mean, we know, we know why, look what I
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: can do. But like I was gonna say, it's listening
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: to him talk to the team because you just you
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: get so used to hearing nothing, nothing from them. You
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: know that it's not like that all the time, right,
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: that's your valid, actual motivation, and you know the buttons
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: he's trying to push for this team and what makes
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: him a good coach. Um. I And then the talking
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: with Brady and talking about Ed Reid, and I have
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: to admit that Ed Reid stuff was a little bit uncomfortable.
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: When when you talk about how much he love you
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: just see his eyes light up and he's like harassing
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: Edreid on the sideline before the game, like, oh, but
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: you're the best free safety in football, and he's like,
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: coach is getting weird. Get away from me. But all right,
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: we only got about twenty minutes left, so we gotta hurry.
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: That means it's time for picks. Paul tell us what
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: happened last week? Okay, last week? It's a shane that
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: he's not here to actually enjoy it. Fred Fred eleven
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: and three, he's back, followed by Mike, Alex and Paul
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: at ten and four, Evan eight and six with the spread.
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: No surprise here, Paul nine and five, U Fred eight
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: and six. So good week for Fred, Alex seven and seven,
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: Evan and Mike six and eight. YEA season standings. I
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: m maintained my one game lead over Mike. I'm one
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: hund sixty three and one. Mike is ninety nine, sixty
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: four and one, Fred is ninety two, seventy one and one,
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: Alex sixty three and forty two, Evan seventy one and
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: forty five. Uh with the spread, I am ninety eight
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: sixty three and three, Mike is eighty one eighty and three,
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: Fred is sixty seven, ninety two and three, Alex forty
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: nine fifty five and three, even fifty six fifty seven
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: and three. So um, the winning percentage now is very
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: very close. I'm a little bit ahead now, all right,
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: even you're feeling well Thanksgiving, Paul. So that's what I'm
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: gonna six o seven winning percentage with the spread. Don't don't, Paul,
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: don't don't pump. That's me too, Okay, good, I don't.
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: I don't pump anybody's tires but my own. All right,
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: all right, Giving Week one, Tripleheader, Week week Fry Game one,
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: we're gonna wake up nine thirty. Sorry, twelve thirty. I'm
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: still in Pacific time. We got Buffalo traveling to Detroit.
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: Buffalo's favored by nine and a half, nine and a half.
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: Detroit's on a little bit of a hot streak here.
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: I think they've won three one a row. Look out,
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: here comes Detroit. Just kidding. I'm gonna take Buffalo, but
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: that's a lot of points. Um, yeah, you know what,
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna lay them. I'm gonna lay him. I'm gonna
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: do it. I know it's crazy, but I think button
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: hook me like that. Sorry, I got to scratch out. Sorry, Um,
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: I am gonna. I mean no matter, if you get
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: really stressed out by this, you don't have to. Yeah,
- 1:41:26Speaker 1: you can just pick. If you can just comment, you
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: can just thumbs up her thumbs down our picks if
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: you want. Um, I am going to take Buffalo, but
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: I will take the points. Yeah. Uh, the nine and
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: a half is a little steep. I think Buffalo is tired.
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: I think they're in weird situations. I think they might
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: be looking ahead to next Thursday's right trip here. Um,
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: So I'll take the points. We'll get Fred, Alex and Evan,
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: or we'll at least I don't know Alex. Sometimes she
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: doesn't pick. We'll get Fred and Evan. Um. At some point,
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: who do you like in that game? Just give us.
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna say Buffalo, okay, but I don't think they're
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: gonna win by nine and a half. Say that's perfect
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: at all. I don't need to stress. I don't think so.
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: Maybe they might win by three. All right, four thirty pm,
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: that's right about the time Paul and I will be
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: saying goodbye to our Thanksgiving parties and heading to Gilette Stadium,
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: off the war on a plane. Uh giants here that
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: I am Dallas. Oh you're coming back. I'm literally just
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: going to eat and coming back. I'm insane. The man.
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: You should have made arrangements to not come back like
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: you could have done that dedication. But that's crazy. You're
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: actually taking a flight tonight and you're gonna be back
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: in time for the show tomorrow. You're crazy, that's Craig.
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: Craig insane crazy. All right, Giants at Dallas. Dallas is
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: favored by ten damn damn ten Dak Prescott and Fuego
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: coming off a big winded Giants coming off a loss,
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: a little bit of a little bit of wind out
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: of their sails. Um. That's a tough one though, But
- 1:43:01Speaker 1: I still like where. I still like Dallas. I'm gonna
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna take Dallas, but I'm gonna take those points.
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: It's a division game. It's gonna be close. Yeah, Giants,
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna do the same thing. Yeah, I like Dallas.
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: I think I think the Giants are very similar to
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: Minnesota team with a very good record that's not anywhere
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: near that good. And they also um lost another wide
- 1:43:21Speaker 1: receiver this week. Al oh god, oh yeah one Dale Robinson.
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: So yeah, that's the two wide receivers theyve loss this year.
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: All Right, we're gonna skip over New England at Minnesota.
- 1:43:32Speaker 1: We'll be back to that one. Don't worry. Everybody. We're
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: gonna moved to Sunday where we have the Tompa Bay
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: Buccaneers traveling to Cleveland to take on the Browns. Tampa
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: Bay by three and a half. Now, still no no Watson.
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: He's practicing, but no, not back yet Watson. This is
- 1:43:48Speaker 1: the last yo, Yeah, this is the last game. Yeah,
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: he comes back next week. I think I'm gonna say
- 1:43:53Speaker 1: to Cleveland's looking ahead to that one. I think Tampa's
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: starting to find a little bit of a stride. I
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: know it's still kind of a grind for them, but
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna take Tompa on the road, Tom Brady, and
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: I'll lay those points me too. I think Tampa got
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: some confidence in Germany with that win, found a way
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: to squeak by the Rams, but then they went out
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: and beat Seattle, who had been playing well. I agree
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: with Mike. I'll take Tampa and lay the points. Any
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: comment Tamara, I'm like him. No, she's just now, she
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: gives that one. She gives that one the stink face. Now,
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: she's just preoccupied with the flight that she has to
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: take twenty four hours I'm sure traveled during. I'm astounded
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: by that. Yeah, nothing to worry about no. No one
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: travels on Wednesday. At least she's just going one night.
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: You don't have to check a bag though, right, Yeah,
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: that'd be crazy. We move on to Cincinnati at Tennessee
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: one o'clock Sunday. Cincinnati by one and a half. That
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: sounds like Jamar Chase is edging towards a return. That's
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: not in this game. But but I think he's he's
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: he's practicing, I believe or started practicing. So um news
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: for the Bengal That is good news for them since
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: they're scoring forty five points without them. Yeah, they're I
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: like Cincinnati in this game and I'm and I'm a
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: Tennessee apologist. I hate picking another road team, but I'm
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: gonna go what was it? What was the spy? That's
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: the one half? Yeah, I'm gonna take Cincla that one
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: and a half. Yeah, I want to take the Bengals too.
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: I'm a little concerned about this game. I think the
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: Titans are finding themselves a little bit too. They've they've
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: been better recently. But I will take Cincinnati to keep
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: their offense. Yeah, Burkes has been been effective. He was
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: good in that Green Bay game on that Thursday night. Yeah,
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: big guy, that was their last game, right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: I would. I'm gonna have to go since see just
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: because is their offensive Is Titans offensive coordinator gonna be
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: at the game? Oh god? Because I think he's in
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: a Mexican prison right now? Um yeah, he wasn't in Mexican.
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: Oh that he came back from Green Bay and got
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: a duy. Yeah, I saw at the podium right now.
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: But I have no idea if he's going to be
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: at the game. So just like to apologize to all
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: my teammates and all right, moving on Houston at Q
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: and flying my Hammy dolf. It's uh Miami by thirteen
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: and a half thirteen goodness gracious, Uh yeah, I think
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna take I'm definitely taking Miami for Houston is
- 1:46:15Speaker 1: just down at the bottom barrels. I gotta do it.
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: I gotta do it. I'm gonna lay those points to
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: a I'm gonna take Miami to win, but I will
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: take the points. I think there's a chance that Davis
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: Mills doesn't play this week. It looks like they might
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: be getting Kyle Allen ready. I'm not sure in that,
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: but I just like thirteen and a half. I don't
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: think the Dolphins defense is very good. That's a lot
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: of points where a bad defense. Now their offense has
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: been playing really well at home. You're probably right, but
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: I'll take the points. Okay, all right? Moving on, we
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: have the Chicago Bears, likely not to have Justin Fields
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: and his a dissocated shoulder? Is that what it was? It?
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: I believe so yeah, geez, well that's what happens to
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: you run him. Chicago's at the Jets, Mike White three
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: to three, Jets by four and a half. Do you
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: like that? I like your subtle shot at like, well,
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: if you if you want one of those quarterbacks that actually,
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: you know, scores points playing, that's the risk you take
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: challenging luck. Uh geez, you know. I'm gonna go with
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: the Jets. I know it's crazy, but I just I
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: feel like they're gonna play well under Mike White, and
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: I think that the Bears are kind of losing their mojo.
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: A Fields doesn't go and they're kind of kind of
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: be like, oh, well, let's just kind of hit the
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: pause button for a week while he's out. Um, I'm
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: gonna go to the Jets and I'm gonna lay the points.
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: Um crazy, I am gonna go with the Jets and
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: um because Justin Fields isn't playing. I'm gonna lay the
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: points too. I'm gonna catch up real quick for Fred
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: because I hope there's some he's emailing from the bus.
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: So Bill's win don't cover Dogs Delight game. So Buffalo
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: Detroit Giants win outright Division trape books soccer Big d fans.
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: So he has the ups that of the maybe of
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: the season that giant the Fred Dakota pin On Giants
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: win outright? Uh? Bucks cover against Cleveland. Uh yeah Cleveland
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: with us Um the spread would be more if the
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: handle was different. I don't know what that means. Bucks
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: win and cover. Okay, he says more coming. All right,
- 1:48:21Speaker 1: so hold place, hold place. Miami covers over Houston. No,
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: no pithy comment on that one. Chicago wins but doesn't cover.
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: They're getting four and a half. Um, so what does
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: that mean? That's the first Fred is m of the
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: day Chicago. Okay, now we can move on. All right,
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: we're waiting Cincinnati. I don't see Cincinnati in nice one.
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: He didn't pick that one yet, Okay, skipped it. One
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: o'clock Sunday at Lanta at Washington, Washington by four and
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: a half and Taylor Heinike working his way into playoffs.
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: I'm definitely on the train. He's kind of easy to
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: root for. I mean, you've seen some of those stories
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: about and now he was way out of football and
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: I don't know if he was doing the Kurt Warner
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: stock and shelves or anything, but I feel like back
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: to our conversation earlier about like leaders and like the
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: team being behind them, like with Kirk Cousins. Yes, that's
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: the opposite the Zach Wilson. Everybody hates prison Wentz. So yeah,
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: I don't know, though, I think you know what. I
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: think I'm gonna go with a little upset here. I'm
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: gonna take Atlanta. Why, I don't know, Um but Cordurell Patterson,
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: big return. Um, I don't know. I'm just gonna I'm
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: gonna kind of fly off the handle with this one
- 1:49:30Speaker 1: and go up with that side. Yeah, Freddie is with you,
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: Atlanta over Washington. Tough game to gauge. Um, So he
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: takes Atlanta. I'm gonna take Washington to keep their little
- 1:49:41Speaker 1: hot streak going. Um. Yeah, No real insight as to why.
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: Maybe Chase Young's back. Yeah, I think he might be.
- 1:49:49Speaker 1: Kyle Pitts too is out. I think he took a
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: knee injury last week. So maybe I don't like my
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: pick already, but oh well, I'm sticking with it. Moving
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: on one o'clock, Denver at Carolina with Sam Darnold back.
- 1:50:01Speaker 1: He's back, guys, he is back Denver by two. This
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: is a This is a garbage game. Man. Yikes. Uh,
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: I'm just gonna I'm gonna feel dirty about no matter
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: who I pick, I'm gonna take Denver. Um. I'm not
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: sure why I feel bad for anyone who's actually gonna
- 1:50:18Speaker 1: watch that game. Man. The only intrigue in this game
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: is to Sam Donald actually looked like an NFL quarterback. No, yeah,
- 1:50:28Speaker 1: I doubt it. And that was a that was a
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: Zach Wilson. No, but I just save no, no, no,
- 1:50:35Speaker 1: next question. Their defense has played pretty well, ye, Carolina,
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: well Denvers too. I'm gonna take Denver on the road.
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: Freddie takes Carolina upset lead lock special. What are the sharps? No,
- 1:50:49Speaker 1: I don't know. It's a two point game. Um, he
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: actually does have a an upset coming up. Oh on
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: our next game. Nice tease. Uh, We're moving on one
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: o'clock again and Baltimore Ravens at Yaxsonville Yaguars. Yeah, Baltimore
- 1:51:03Speaker 1: by three and a half. Don't tell me this is
- 1:51:06Speaker 1: his upset. Wow, he's gonna go jackson I can't do that.
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: I know Baltimore is does. Some have some stupid results
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: now and then, but I don't think this is going
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: to be one of them. I think they win and cover. Yeah,
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: I am gonna take Baltimore to win. I will take
- 1:51:21Speaker 1: the three and a half. A couple of things that
- 1:51:24Speaker 1: I am taking. The hook the spread is kind of
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: curious to me. Makes me wonder what's going on. And
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: I just think the Ravens are one of those teams
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: that like they got a bunch of pat season in
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: a row. They didn't play great last week against Carolina.
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: Board I could see it. I could see this game
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: being tighter than you thinking. And Freddie likes Jacksonville outright. Wow, Freddie,
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: go get them all right. We're moving now on to
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: fred if you're listening, I need a Cincinnati pick from you. Cincinnati, Tennessee.
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: They must have missed it four or five on Sunday,
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: the LA Chargers coming off another rough loss to Arizona
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: coming off another rough loss for them as well, the
- 1:52:04Speaker 1: Lack by four and a half. Four and a half.
- 1:52:09Speaker 1: Manh yeah, I just I don't know what the status
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: is right now Kyler Murray. But based on the quarterbacks alone,
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: I'm going to take the Chargers and I will lay
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: the points. Yeah, I will take the Chargers, but I'll
- 1:52:21Speaker 1: take four and a half at home for for Arizona.
- 1:52:23Speaker 1: I think the Lack will win the game. But um,
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: I think Kyler Murray will be back. I don't know
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: quite a few home dogs this weekend, no idea. Yeah,
- 1:52:33Speaker 1: Fred likes the Chargers to get right against the Cardinals.
- 1:52:37Speaker 1: Get right, they won't stay right? All right? We got
- 1:52:41Speaker 1: Vegas at Seattle. Josh McDaniel's looking for Freddie takes Tennessee
- 1:52:45Speaker 1: in the Cincinnati game. There it is, um, so he
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: is listening, so be on your best behavior. Nice little
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: challenge still for the Raiders. I mean, Seattle always a
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: tough place to play. They're looking to bounce back. This
- 1:52:57Speaker 1: is a tough one. But you got Oh I'm sorry,
- 1:53:00Speaker 1: Seattle by three and a half. He gave you the spread. God.
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: Last week I picked Vegas that came through for me.
- 1:53:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it again. I don't know, guys, I
- 1:53:07Speaker 1: feel good for Josh. I'm gonna take I'm gonna take Vegas.
- 1:53:10Speaker 1: And I'm picking way too many road games this road
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: teams this week. Yeah, I am going to take Seattle.
- 1:53:16Speaker 1: Um both ways. I'll lay the points to Freddie likes Vegas.
- 1:53:22Speaker 1: He's with you, Deuce says, feel good. Seahawks start to fade.
- 1:53:28Speaker 1: Does that mean they're starting to fade or he don't
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: fade them, they're starting to fade? Oh? I mean, I
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: think Geno Smith's one of the best stories in the
- 1:53:36Speaker 1: league this year. And it's just like gives should give
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: teams hope that like a quarterback can kind of kick
- 1:53:40Speaker 1: around for all of us and then all of a
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: sudden put it all together. Maybe there's hope for us.
- 1:53:44Speaker 1: Yet Fred makes me laugh. With the next one, we
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: have four five the ROMs traveling to Patrick Mahomes and
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City by fourteen and a half. Wow, yikes,
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: I just I mean Matthew Stafford back and concussion protocol, right,
- 1:54:03Speaker 1: We're probably back to square moment with him. So I'm
- 1:54:06Speaker 1: taking Casey. I'll lay the points. I'm taking casey both
- 1:54:09Speaker 1: ways to m Freddie says, the Rams are done. Stafford
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: was a flash in the pan, so trying to get
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: your paw um. Do you just see the difference like
- 1:54:22Speaker 1: with the quarterback makes like last week touchdown, touchdown, concussion
- 1:54:25Speaker 1: game over? Like what was your summation of the fight?
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: Tough one? Moving on four twenty five New Orleans at
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: San Francisco. San Francisco by noine or a half. Yeah,
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: I like I watched a little of them this week.
- 1:54:41Speaker 1: I like how they're playing. I mean, Jimmy g is
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: still a little bit limited. But the weapons, I mean, debo,
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: you get the ball in Christian McCaffrey's hands, they just
- 1:54:49Speaker 1: they can they can move the ball, kittle. I'm gonna
- 1:54:52Speaker 1: take San Francisco. I'm gonna lay the points. I am
- 1:54:54Speaker 1: going to take the points. I'm gonna take San Francisco
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: to win. But nine and a half's a lot coming
- 1:54:59Speaker 1: back from Mexico. You know, maybe they're a little bit
- 1:55:02Speaker 1: you know, short week trip from Mexico. Maybe they're not
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: quite ready for this one. Uh. Freddie says, uh same,
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: forty nine ers win, but don't cover Sharp's not convinced. Yeah,
- 1:55:13Speaker 1: I don't think that. I don't think you're ready for
- 1:55:15Speaker 1: this jelly last one. Eight twenty Sunday night, prime time,
- 1:55:19Speaker 1: the Green Bay Packers travel to Philadelphia to take on
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: the Eagles. Eagles buy seven. That's a good game, at
- 1:55:26Speaker 1: least it might have been at one point in recent history.
- 1:55:29Speaker 1: But I think Philadelphia, Um, we'll win this game. I'm
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: gonna lay the points to I'm gonna take Philly to win,
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: and I'll lay him. Yeah, me too. I think Green
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: Bay stinks. Although Philadelphia has not played great the last
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: couple of weeks. I lost to Washington. Yeah, I'll take
- 1:55:46Speaker 1: the Eagles both ways. Fred says, Eagles both ways. Eagles
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: cover over Green Bay. So Philly, all right. We're on
- 1:55:54Speaker 1: the Monday night Pittsburgh Steelers at the Indianapolis Colts and
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: coach just Saturday, Um, Indie by two and a half.
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: It's another two, another tough one. I don't know what
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: direction these two teams are heading. It's Kenny two gloves.
- 1:56:11Speaker 1: How do we like what he's doing? The two gloves
- 1:56:14Speaker 1: definitely bothers me, by the way, more or less than
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: the headband, no, less, but not about the floppy play sheet.
- 1:56:21Speaker 1: Oh god, the floppy, the floppy thing that's up there too.
- 1:56:25Speaker 1: I think headband still wins the day because at least
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: the playbook, like you need that, like that's part of
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: you that you need it. But like the headman, we don't,
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: we don't need that. I'm gonna take Indianapolis. I'll lay
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: the points. I'm gonna take Indianapolis as well. I think
- 1:56:38Speaker 1: that they've played hard. I think their defense is outstanding. Um,
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: so I'll take Indie. Fred likes Pittsburgh because he thinks
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: that Tamara's buddy, Mike Tomlin is not happy with the
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: Jeff Saturday hiring. Oh yeah, he's gonna any information. He
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: sees it as disrespect to the coach. Uh. Now we
- 1:56:56Speaker 1: go back to this Thursday day night. Tomorrow night, the
- 1:57:01Speaker 1: New England Patriots traveled to Minnesota, and I take on
- 1:57:03Speaker 1: the Vikings at eight twenty pm Minnesota by two and
- 1:57:07Speaker 1: a half. Two and a half. That sounds all right.
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: I weirdly feel pretty confident about this game. I'm not
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: sure why. I don't think the Patriots are gonna win
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: by two scores or anything crazy like that, but I
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: think that they will get after Kirk Cousins. I think
- 1:57:19Speaker 1: they'll get an early lead, things will kind of break
- 1:57:21Speaker 1: their way and the defense will close it out. Hold
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson in check. I do think Dalvin Cook scares
- 1:57:26Speaker 1: me a little bit. Big plays want to avoid that,
- 1:57:28Speaker 1: but I trust New England's defense in this matchup. I'm
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: going to take the Patriots twenty three to seventeen. I
- 1:57:34Speaker 1: see a similar kind of game as Mike. I think
- 1:57:39Speaker 1: the Vikings, as I've said many times over the past month,
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: are congrossly overrated. So I just don't see like all
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: these weapons on offense. I think Justin Jeffers is one
- 1:57:51Speaker 1: of the best offensive players in football. I don't think
- 1:57:54Speaker 1: Adam Delin's the same kind of guy. I'd take Jacobe
- 1:57:56Speaker 1: Myers over him, you know, as a point of comparison.
- 1:57:59Speaker 1: I think Levin Cook is solid. I think m kirk
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: Cousins is very average. I think the offensive line is
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: very average. I think the Patriots will put some pressure
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: on Cousins. There'll be a lot of punts in this game,
- 1:58:12Speaker 1: and the Patriots have proven in the recent past they
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: can win that kind of game twenty to sixteen. New England.
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: Freddie likes the Patriots a little bit bigger than you
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: and thirty two to ten, thirty two to ten two. Wow,
- 1:58:33Speaker 1: it's a lot of field goals. I would, I would.
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: I would love to be a file on the wall
- 1:58:37Speaker 1: in the postgame show if they win those two ten i'd.
- 1:58:40Speaker 1: I'll be fired up, I'll be happy, I'll be tired.
- 1:58:43Speaker 1: We have to get the Super Bowl guy to call
- 1:58:44Speaker 1: back in if that happens, throws like five touchdowns. All right, Well,
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: I think that's gonna do it for us. Of course,
- 1:58:52Speaker 1: Tomorrow night, Patriots, it's more likely Patriots win thirty two
- 1:58:55Speaker 1: to ten or the Vikings win thirty two to ten.
