- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, e y l We're back special episode. We
- 0:04Speaker 1: got the Good Brother. Two chains in the building and
- 0:06Speaker 1: Tony Man. I ain't know he was doing this, man, Yeah, well,
- 0:10Speaker 1: you know I would have came. I would have came.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I thought it was just you know, we got the
- 0:13Speaker 1: book coming out. I ain't know what he was.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Doing putting that energy out.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Yeah, jumping and play a partner partner.
- 0:22Speaker 2: No, man, it's cool. It's cold.
- 0:28Speaker 4: I'm in We're in New York, so I could just
- 0:33Speaker 4: paint the picture for the internet, those who are watching.
- 0:36Speaker 4: We're in New York. I think the lower in his teens,
- 0:41Speaker 4: highs in its upper twenties or something. I'm from the
- 0:48Speaker 4: lane tip, y'all don't know. I'm from the South, so
- 0:51Speaker 4: it's it's extremely cold to me. And then when you
- 0:54Speaker 4: have a when you have a fit like this, it's
- 0:57Speaker 4: not too many places you can wear.
- 0:59Speaker 2: That's a fa.
- 1:00Speaker 4: When you see something say twenty three degree, grab, grab
- 1:03Speaker 4: my hat.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Hat, boots, pan out so we can see. We got
- 1:08Speaker 5: to get the boots, can we see?
- 1:09Speaker 2: All right? Bo, that's the shot.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Well, first and foremost, congratulations, my brother, thank you, we
- 1:16Speaker 1: got the book. This is uh the voice in my
- 1:22Speaker 1: head is God, so we're gonna talk about this. I'm
- 1:26Speaker 1: glad to see it come to fruition because you did
- 1:28Speaker 1: invest fast for us last year. Thank you for doing that.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And I was talking to Tech, your manager about the
- 1:33Speaker 1: book last year last summer, so I know how long
- 1:36Speaker 1: these book cycles work. So to see it come to fruition, now,
- 1:41Speaker 1: how does this make you feel?
- 1:44Speaker 2: Just eager?
- 1:45Speaker 4: You know, it feels like an album, even the rollout,
- 1:48Speaker 4: what I'm doing, different podcasts, different interviews. You know, the
- 1:53Speaker 4: subject that I'm touching on, maybe new to a fan
- 1:58Speaker 4: of mine. Some of this the material in the book
- 2:00Speaker 4: I haven't discussed and uh in music or in interviews,
- 2:05Speaker 4: but just the release, knowing that it's here, just I'm
- 2:09Speaker 4: just seeing. I'm excited for people to not only read
- 2:12Speaker 4: the book, but to to check out the audio book
- 2:14Speaker 4: because I'm a I'm I'm a great reader.
- 2:16Speaker 3: You read it, yeah, I read it.
- 2:18Speaker 2: That's hard. And then I also added production like a
- 2:24Speaker 2: score to it.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Right mm, So when I'm reading these certain scenes, you
- 2:29Speaker 4: able to feel the actual scene is very cinematic because
- 2:34Speaker 4: I have the sound effects of what's going on during
- 2:40Speaker 4: the different scenes. So I I'm excited about the audio book,
- 2:44Speaker 4: but it's a good read.
- 2:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I say the the clip dropped earlier with the
- 2:47Speaker 5: the the cartoon uh of you at the All Star
- 2:50Speaker 5: Game out though this is dope.
- 2:52Speaker 3: This is exactly what it should be.
- 2:53Speaker 2: MM.
- 2:53Speaker 5: I wanted as you went into the process, obviously you've
- 2:55Speaker 5: put out album before you compared it to the rollout?
- 2:58Speaker 3: What was it like?
- 2:59Speaker 5: Oh, why that wasn't necessary to put out literature at
- 3:02Speaker 5: this point?
- 3:03Speaker 2: Right?
- 3:03Speaker 3: Like we know the legendary music career. Why literature right now?
- 3:09Speaker 4: I I said this previously, but I think growth without
- 3:15Speaker 4: reflection is just noise. Just keep growing, so you have to.
- 3:20Speaker 4: For me, this book is about me reflecting. It's about
- 3:26Speaker 4: me giving myself grace, acknowledging my longevity, acknowledging the things
- 3:36Speaker 4: that I did that I did right.
- 3:41Speaker 2: It's not.
- 3:43Speaker 4: So much about me pivoting away from anything. It's just
- 3:47Speaker 4: about me being more intent in this stage of my career.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Me putting out you know, musical compositions, me even putting
- 3:57Speaker 4: out a short feelm So literature was another uh, creative
- 4:02Speaker 4: risk that I wanted to take to express myself.
- 4:05Speaker 2: But to also I I.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Look at it like, uh, my way of giving back
- 4:11Speaker 4: to my community, right because hear me out. This voice
- 4:16Speaker 4: in my head is God. It's a real thing to me,
- 4:18Speaker 4: to me personally, It's the reason why I'm sitting right
- 4:21Speaker 4: here where I am now. I feel like my consciousness
- 4:25Speaker 4: led to my success. Me listening to the voice when
- 4:27Speaker 4: it told me to do certain things led me to
- 4:30Speaker 4: a successful place. So this is a book that I
- 4:33Speaker 4: I could not wrote this book when I was twenty
- 4:36Speaker 4: or a teenager. I had to r truly go through
- 4:39Speaker 4: different experiences. I had to win some enough to get
- 4:42Speaker 4: the wisdom, and I had to lose some, you know
- 4:45Speaker 4: what I mean.
- 4:46Speaker 2: So this book is it's it h It.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Humanizes me and I'm excited to put some literature out
- 4:51Speaker 4: so people can really see how I think and why
- 4:53Speaker 4: I moved to where I move.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Heard that before, somebody said that your intuition is God's.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Is God whispering to you man like? So I'm assuming
- 5:02Speaker 1: that we're.
- 5:02Speaker 4: On the same people. That's it, bro, That's that's I mean,
- 5:04Speaker 4: we could. I don't want to end it right here,
- 5:06Speaker 4: but we could. I've really been I've been on that.
- 5:11Speaker 4: I've been using my intuition as sort of a navigational
- 5:15Speaker 4: tool for a very long time, and I look at
- 5:20Speaker 4: intuition like a sixth sense as as you know, I
- 5:22Speaker 4: look at it like once you really tap into this
- 5:27Speaker 4: and believe because right' it's you believe in and you're
- 5:32Speaker 4: listening to something that that can't nobody else here it's
- 5:37Speaker 4: trying to warn you about something that you something that
- 5:40Speaker 4: you can't see. It's a lot of what else and
- 5:42Speaker 4: what end and question marks. So the average person don't
- 5:45Speaker 4: got time to sit back and even deal with that
- 5:49Speaker 4: inner monologue or that divine divine guidance is I.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Like to call it. I'm here to tell you that.
- 5:58Speaker 4: My divine guidance has helped me make business decisions, properties
- 6:11Speaker 4: and different in certain locations. Man, my divine guidance has
- 6:15Speaker 4: helped me do everything from a large scale to a
- 6:18Speaker 4: small scale. So this book is like something I'm giving
- 6:23Speaker 4: back to my community on trying to trying to motivate
- 6:29Speaker 4: them to tap in and the listener what they have
- 6:33Speaker 4: inside of.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Them into intuition, setting in like Stee's vision when you
- 6:37Speaker 5: said that's what you think? Was there a moment or
- 6:40Speaker 5: a series of moments when it came to you like, Yo,
- 6:43Speaker 5: this is God talking. He's using me right, giving me
- 6:46Speaker 5: the footsteps that I just gotta follow the path. Or
- 6:49Speaker 5: was it like a specific moment at time and you're like, yo,
- 6:53Speaker 5: this this, this is something happening here right like cause
- 6:55Speaker 5: you said you couldn't have done it in your early twenties,
- 6:58Speaker 5: you couldn't done your thelies it had to be in
- 6:59Speaker 5: this Was it compounding or.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Was it just like a specific time?
- 7:06Speaker 2: So you know, they came to me, would you like
- 7:10Speaker 2: to write a book?
- 7:14Speaker 4: At that moment when the approached me about writing a book,
- 7:20Speaker 4: I have so many levels and different ideas that I
- 7:26Speaker 4: thought I could tap into. I see artists do autobiographies
- 7:32Speaker 4: all the time, so I didn't want to do but
- 7:34Speaker 4: I see a lot of people were doing. So when
- 7:38Speaker 4: it came about this book, I started thinking about a
- 7:42Speaker 4: lot of my journey, a lot of stuff that I've
- 7:45Speaker 4: been through, and all of it kind of funneled back
- 7:49Speaker 4: to this voice saying, man, something told me don't even
- 7:54Speaker 4: go over there, or something told me to go over there,
- 7:57Speaker 4: And so it was something that I would not aware
- 8:00Speaker 4: of early on, but when I thought about these stories
- 8:04Speaker 4: that I'm talking about in the book, it was something
- 8:09Speaker 4: that told me to either do it or don't do it.
- 8:11Speaker 4: And when I look at the outcome. I gathered all
- 8:14Speaker 4: the data, my personal data, and I realized that when
- 8:18Speaker 4: I listen to this voice, and the voice comes to
- 8:20Speaker 4: me out of love, because that's what God is. It's
- 8:23Speaker 4: a blessing from within. And all I got to do
- 8:26Speaker 4: is be patient and wait to see what that is.
- 8:29Speaker 4: And so then it became time to glue at it together,
- 8:33Speaker 4: like how does this add bag to this and how
- 8:36Speaker 4: does this make sense? And that was the kind of
- 8:38Speaker 4: the fun part for me too, because it was just like,
- 8:43Speaker 4: I don't know, ma'am. It's just for this right here.
- 8:45Speaker 4: I think I'm being very, very vulnerable. But at the
- 8:49Speaker 4: same time it's therapeutic for me because I'm able to
- 8:52Speaker 4: get out some of these stories that I have been
- 8:55Speaker 4: having bottled up. But I'm also able to discuss with
- 8:59Speaker 4: my fans, fans, old fans, whoever that that is into
- 9:03Speaker 4: reading or into intuition what this has done for me.
- 9:07Speaker 4: I really believe like this is a superpower. I can
- 9:09Speaker 4: really I can really feel eyes, I can feel with
- 9:12Speaker 4: somebody looking at me from down there. I can really like,
- 9:15Speaker 4: I think women are superheroes. These are just some chapters
- 9:18Speaker 4: that I'm ringing off off the top of my head
- 9:20Speaker 4: that's in the book. All this stuff is very relative
- 9:22Speaker 4: to what I have going on in my life.
- 9:25Speaker 2: So some experts some excerpts from the book.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Your mom was a loan officer, Yeah, right, state real
- 9:32Speaker 1: estate loan officer. So how did that exposure to real
- 9:37Speaker 1: estate early kind of shape your mindset on owning real estate?
- 9:40Speaker 2: I know, real estate?
- 9:41Speaker 4: And yeah, yeah, I mean, you know at the time,
- 9:44Speaker 4: it's I mean, it just lets you know what you're around.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Like my mama did real estate. My daddy hustle. I
- 9:51Speaker 4: did both. I did both. It was almost like it
- 9:54Speaker 4: was hereditary, right, my mom, I did I did both.
- 9:56Speaker 4: I did both, just like I think you.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Kind of do.
- 10:01Speaker 4: I don't know what you're around or what you see
- 10:03Speaker 4: all stuff Like my mama not necessarily taking me to
- 10:06Speaker 4: work every day, but she coming home with them big old,
- 10:08Speaker 4: big Manila folders, the big loan manilla folders with the
- 10:11Speaker 4: yellow stuff marked on, you know, separating the paperwork and
- 10:15Speaker 4: this long paperwork, long paperwork, you know. And I hear appraisals,
- 10:20Speaker 4: and I hear you know, certain words I've been hearing
- 10:22Speaker 4: a long time about properties, and and and she's from
- 10:27Speaker 4: an area where they manipulate a lot of the paperwork,
- 10:30Speaker 4: you know people. She later told me that in order
- 10:33Speaker 4: to get this one job, because you know, I'm writing
- 10:36Speaker 4: this short fem Red Clay, and it's, uh, it's about
- 10:39Speaker 4: my life as well, non fiction. But you know, I
- 10:42Speaker 4: was having these questions about like I remember standing these
- 10:45Speaker 4: apartments like like most of my life, and then all
- 10:48Speaker 4: of a sudden, we just got a house.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And I never knew why. I said, Mama, how we
- 10:51Speaker 2: get the house?
- 10:52Speaker 4: And she said that in order to get this when
- 10:55Speaker 4: she got hired at this real estate company, they made
- 10:57Speaker 4: her get the house. That was like she had to
- 10:59Speaker 4: get the house so they can work up move and
- 11:01Speaker 4: take some money off the property. So I'm like, cause
- 11:04Speaker 4: you know, we didn't have power. It just almost didn't
- 11:07Speaker 4: make sense. We had a house. Book sometimes like this
- 11:10Speaker 4: long extension cord going to the neighbor's house in the back,
- 11:15Speaker 4: like a long downhill. Very embarrassing, very very embarrassing, nothing
- 11:18Speaker 4: cool to even talk. I don't even think I'll talk
- 11:20Speaker 4: about it in my book, but just an extension cord.
- 11:22Speaker 4: And but we had a house, you know what I mean.
- 11:24Speaker 4: And yeah, so early on there was a lot of
- 11:28Speaker 4: manipulation in that in real estate and then my dad,
- 11:32Speaker 4: like I said, was a hustle. So I think just
- 11:34Speaker 4: being in that environment like really the cliche product of
- 11:37Speaker 4: your environment.
- 11:39Speaker 5: You talk about betting on yourself inside the book as well,
- 11:42Speaker 5: we knew Duffel back Boy, but before that it was
- 11:45Speaker 5: the shoebox Mattress kings right, So talk about the idea
- 11:48Speaker 5: of buying yourself out of your record contract, having that
- 11:52Speaker 5: hundred thousand and saying, look, I'm gonna listen to this
- 11:55Speaker 5: voice again and I'm gonna better myself and see where
- 11:57Speaker 5: it takes me.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I was just about to say something told me to
- 11:59Speaker 4: do that, something told me to like it was time
- 12:02Speaker 4: for me to become my own entity, my own person,
- 12:06Speaker 4: my own I feel like everything happens for a reason.
- 12:09Speaker 4: So you know, before I got to where I was,
- 12:11Speaker 4: I think the natural the courses that I went through,
- 12:14Speaker 4: because I can get in any room and I'll learn
- 12:16Speaker 4: from anybody. I'm not someone that feels like I know
- 12:19Speaker 4: all the information or and I'm not somebody that feels
- 12:21Speaker 4: like I can't learn from somebody that is beneath me.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I don't.
- 12:25Speaker 4: I don't have as as ah as much money as
- 12:28Speaker 4: I I'm not wanted. I'm not like ignorant. I think
- 12:30Speaker 4: you can learn from a smoker. I think you can
- 12:33Speaker 4: learn from somebody that is a janitor in a babr
- 12:37Speaker 4: I I don't look at people, so you know, for
- 12:40Speaker 4: the most part that situation something I a voice told
- 12:45Speaker 4: me that it was time for me to move on,
- 12:47Speaker 4: move on with my life and see what else. And
- 12:49Speaker 4: that's another situation of me living a situ leaving a
- 12:52Speaker 4: situation that's right here in front of me.
- 12:54Speaker 2: It's pretty cool. It's nothing.
- 12:55Speaker 4: I mean, it's not moving as fast as I wanted to,
- 12:58Speaker 4: but it's something telling me, like, lead this situation. I
- 13:01Speaker 4: got something better for you around the corner. I can't
- 13:04Speaker 4: see around the corner, but I just have to take
- 13:07Speaker 4: that and believe it.
- 13:08Speaker 3: What what what stage of the career is this? That boy?
- 13:10Speaker 4: This is when I'm leaving the stage. You to mind
- 13:13Speaker 4: when I became a solo artist, when I live. When
- 13:14Speaker 4: I became a solo artist, I literally woke up one day.
- 13:18Speaker 4: It wasn't like a bunch of like I'm considering doing this.
- 13:21Speaker 4: I really woke up one day and made a phone call.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Wow, you said, I don't wanna do this. I wanna
- 13:25Speaker 2: be by myself and.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I'm here, sound thou the story of a hundred thousand
- 13:31Speaker 1: You literally took a hundred thousand dollars to the reculation.
- 13:33Speaker 2: So nah, So.
- 13:36Speaker 4: I was with uh the the the previous company, and
- 13:40Speaker 4: they told me because at this at this point of
- 13:43Speaker 4: my career, I'm not even really like contract savvy.
- 13:47Speaker 3: MM.
- 13:48Speaker 4: I know I've been in this situation for it seems
- 13:50Speaker 4: like a long time, but I don't know how long
- 13:53Speaker 4: a long time me is Contractually. They're just telling me
- 13:57Speaker 4: that in order for for me to god deal. They
- 14:00Speaker 4: just telling me before even Lloyd's get involved, and man,
- 14:02Speaker 4: it's gonna be I don't know if he was trying
- 14:04Speaker 4: to run me off, scare me on, whatever was trying
- 14:06Speaker 4: to do, but it was like, you know, you give
- 14:09Speaker 4: me a hundred thousand and some points or whatever you
- 14:11Speaker 4: can get out of this situation. But at this time,
- 14:14Speaker 4: I had been doing shows in the circuit, in the
- 14:17Speaker 4: Chiling circuit, and I had about around that much, and
- 14:20Speaker 4: I was willing to go to zero because I could
- 14:23Speaker 4: already see dates on my calendar where I was gonna
- 14:25Speaker 4: run the money back up anyway. I could literally it
- 14:29Speaker 4: used to be a time where I could literally like
- 14:31Speaker 4: count how much revenue I was making the much, especially
- 14:33Speaker 4: out of Chiling Circuit when we was doing those.
- 14:35Speaker 2: The Chipland circuit.
- 14:37Speaker 1: How did that cause we We went to Tyler Perry
- 14:39Speaker 1: and he was saying, like, I mean, he pretty much
- 14:41Speaker 1: built his whole career of Chitland circuit, so we only
- 14:44Speaker 1: had too much of that turn.
- 14:45Speaker 4: You man, it's a rich brother, it's a rich folks
- 14:47Speaker 4: down or that man. And when we said the Chilling Circuit,
- 14:50Speaker 4: we mean the lower South, Memphis, the Carolinas, the little
- 14:56Speaker 4: You could literally get in your car and live on
- 14:58Speaker 4: the road in those areas years and there.
- 15:01Speaker 2: They'll show you. They'll show you so much love and respect. Man.
- 15:04Speaker 4: And I made my first million in the in the
- 15:06Speaker 4: Chilling Circle, not when I became, not when I signed.
- 15:09Speaker 4: I was already I had a house and everything when
- 15:11Speaker 4: I signed my deal. But it was just me getting
- 15:13Speaker 4: in that van and uh going to certain places too.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Man.
- 15:20Speaker 4: I remember showing I remember I had a show in Memphis. No,
- 15:24Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I remember going to Memphis and having three
- 15:26Speaker 4: shows on one night, like a show here, having to
- 15:29Speaker 4: legal here, do a show, then having to do an
- 15:31Speaker 4: after party, and then driving back to Atlanta with all
- 15:33Speaker 4: this you know the.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Back in you know what I'm saying. I just you know,
- 15:38Speaker 2: was that physical CDs time too?
- 15:44Speaker 4: This is running time. I'm just starting to get on.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I'm like, I had a song called Boo it was
- 15:47Speaker 4: getting on the radio, Spend it when Spending got on
- 15:50Speaker 4: the radio. So I'm not sure if it was see these.
- 15:52Speaker 4: I think we might have been fading out from CDs.
- 15:56Speaker 4: But when that stuff started happening, because Spending came out
- 15:59Speaker 4: before I got the deal too, like riding around and
- 16:01Speaker 4: get that song right there. So yeah, and so I
- 16:04Speaker 4: had pretty much set a lot of the stuff that
- 16:07Speaker 4: I had, Like my mom had her I bought my
- 16:08Speaker 4: mom house before I bought mine because I'm having that
- 16:12Speaker 4: like you know what I'm saying, that black people mentality,
- 16:14Speaker 4: Like anything go wrong, I always shoot my mama house,
- 16:19Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying. So I did that, and
- 16:22Speaker 4: it just took me a lot of getting in different
- 16:24Speaker 4: rooms to I actually just pay everything cash, pay it
- 16:27Speaker 4: all off, just just you know, had to rewire the
- 16:31Speaker 4: way I was thinking.
- 16:34Speaker 3: You make the first million, right, I wonder what the
- 16:37Speaker 3: voice is telling you then, right.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Is it telling me to buy some cars, telling me
- 16:40Speaker 4: about just tell me about Rose Royce.
- 16:43Speaker 5: I was like, man, again, sometimes you gotta go through
- 16:46Speaker 5: things to learn them. So like this is like you're
- 16:48Speaker 5: in the tailer's circle. You make the million, it's like,
- 16:51Speaker 5: let me go spend it.
- 16:52Speaker 4: No, So what I did was this is what I did.
- 16:54Speaker 4: I'm I'm gonna keep it clean. I was gonna, oh man,
- 16:57Speaker 4: it just hit me. I was gonna buy a may Back, right,
- 17:00Speaker 4: this is the guy down this tr I was gonna
- 17:01Speaker 4: buy may back. And I was in Saint Louis for
- 17:04Speaker 4: some reason and and this boy n I don't know
- 17:07Speaker 4: why my mind is remembering this right now, but I
- 17:09Speaker 4: was around Nelly for something, bruh. And now you you
- 17:13Speaker 4: remember this. And I think I'm telling him about the
- 17:18Speaker 4: maybag or something. And he really liked at this time, like, boy,
- 17:23Speaker 4: you don't he trying to tell me you don't need
- 17:24Speaker 4: this mayback. I'm telling you like cause I'm on the
- 17:29Speaker 4: road doing the show in Saint Louis when he is
- 17:31Speaker 4: telling me this. And he said, he suggested, like a
- 17:35Speaker 4: tour bus get something like that. And I listen. I
- 17:39Speaker 4: told you, I listened to it. I listen, right, I listen, bruh.
- 17:43Speaker 4: And I I act like I didn't I wasn't listening though.
- 17:46Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm gonna get this may back. Like I'm
- 17:48Speaker 4: telling you that I owe that car. You like, get
- 17:51Speaker 4: a bus. So I went and I s I found
- 17:53Speaker 4: a bus and put a studio on it, and they
- 17:57Speaker 4: got bunks, you know what I'm saying the whole thing,
- 17:59Speaker 4: and I started hitting the roll on my tour bus.
- 18:01Speaker 4: It's before I got my record deal, and uh yeah, man,
- 18:06Speaker 4: I end up investing my money into something like that.
- 18:10Speaker 4: That was like an investment because like I got my
- 18:12Speaker 4: money out of it through traveling. It happened bunks on
- 18:16Speaker 4: there sometimes I didn't have to get rooms for everyone.
- 18:19Speaker 4: And then it had a kitchen on there, so I
- 18:21Speaker 4: like I had a stove like a hot plate on there.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I brought a chef with me, so I was able
- 18:26Speaker 4: to save some of my money from eating out and
- 18:28Speaker 4: able to feed the crew.
- 18:30Speaker 2: And also it had.
- 18:31Speaker 4: The studio on there. I was able to work, so
- 18:33Speaker 4: it was like a really like a mobile home. That
- 18:36Speaker 4: was one of the biggest That was one of the
- 18:37Speaker 4: things that there. When I first got some money, I
- 18:38Speaker 4: bought a bus.
- 18:40Speaker 1: You mentioned when you brought yourself out of the contract.
- 18:42Speaker 1: As far as points, we had about points all the time,
- 18:44Speaker 1: like can you explain like what points are or for
- 18:47Speaker 1: like the layman.
- 18:48Speaker 4: That I cannot explain it. I can't explain, but I
- 18:50Speaker 4: cannot explain it without saying a few a couple of times.
- 18:54Speaker 2: It's like a percentage. It's a percentage. Yeah, that's a
- 18:58Speaker 2: great way.
- 18:59Speaker 4: It's a percentage, but it's not like one percent of
- 19:02Speaker 4: one hundred, so it's it's not like that, but it's
- 19:05Speaker 4: a percentage of a project. Because me it was only
- 19:07Speaker 4: one percent of one hundred. We would just be like
- 19:09Speaker 4: that's nothing. But I did have to give up a
- 19:12Speaker 4: point from my project for I think the first three
- 19:14Speaker 4: abs or something. But whatever, it was, it for my freedom.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I really didn't it was worth it. It was worth it, man.
- 19:20Speaker 4: And like I'm telling you, when you listen to that voice,
- 19:25Speaker 4: everything gonna work, except everything gonna be all right.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Back ten everything came back tenfold.
- 19:31Speaker 5: You would obviously you better on yourself. You win, But
- 19:35Speaker 5: then people are coming back to you right now, labels
- 19:37Speaker 5: are talking to you.
- 19:37Speaker 3: At the time. I think this is like three sixty
- 19:39Speaker 3: deals become a thing.
- 19:42Speaker 2: You didn't do that, and.
- 19:43Speaker 5: Listen to the voice talk about that and saying like yo,
- 19:45Speaker 5: I see what people are doing.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I'm not doing that. How it works out in your advantage?
- 19:50Speaker 4: Well, three Sisters came became very popular. I don't know, man,
- 19:57Speaker 4: we'll say maybe a little bit over TUNI years ago
- 20:01Speaker 4: it was introduced. I think Lee or introduced. I'm not
- 20:03Speaker 4: sure you think Lee are Yeah, But basically, what a
- 20:06Speaker 4: three sixty is is that artists who make money outside
- 20:09Speaker 4: of their music. Like when I say make money, they
- 20:12Speaker 4: have deals outside their music that the label is looped
- 20:15Speaker 4: into it. And I think it's maybe twenty percent or
- 20:19Speaker 4: something like that or something like that looped into that deal.
- 20:21Speaker 4: So basically what the label is saying and I totally
- 20:23Speaker 4: get it. I understand the label. You know what I'm saying,
- 20:26Speaker 4: blows you up. You get the popping PEPSI call you man,
- 20:29Speaker 4: I want you to do this Pepps commercial. And then
- 20:31Speaker 4: the label like, bro, I piped you up, You're gonna
- 20:34Speaker 4: get me. I totally get that. But when I went
- 20:36Speaker 4: to go get my deal, I had so much leverage
- 20:39Speaker 4: that I was merely trying to find a label that
- 20:43Speaker 4: could help me internationally like I needed, Like, like, by
- 20:48Speaker 4: the time I got my record deal, y'all, this is
- 20:50Speaker 4: on everything A little. By the time I got my
- 20:52Speaker 4: record deal, I had already done a show in Idaho
- 20:54Speaker 4: and South Dakota.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I had already been to places like that independently. Yeah,
- 20:58Speaker 3: oh my own.
- 20:58Speaker 4: I already like been the eye at the home to
- 21:00Speaker 4: my I'm like looking for potatoes to eat.
- 21:02Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. I'm going, you know, on
- 21:05Speaker 3: culture bro, I go to Main, I go to Main.
- 21:07Speaker 4: What I'm looking for I'm looking for when I go
- 21:11Speaker 4: to Philly.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Man, look, so that's what I'm doing. I'm doing this
- 21:14Speaker 3: on my home.
- 21:15Speaker 4: I'm going to places. Man, as soon as I'm laying
- 21:18Speaker 4: what did choose? You know what I'm saying, I'm going
- 21:20Speaker 4: to these places. So when I go do the meeting,
- 21:24Speaker 4: I'm sorry, man, I want to be an international shoit.
- 21:26Speaker 4: I won't be known, you know, all over the world
- 21:29Speaker 4: to change those condemias. And so a couple of labels
- 21:36Speaker 4: weren't trying to even let me get to that point
- 21:38Speaker 4: of explaining. They just was like, this is what it is,
- 21:41Speaker 4: and you know, but.
- 21:42Speaker 2: We're here now.
- 21:43Speaker 4: So that was my first run with like death Jam,
- 21:46Speaker 4: like my first solo deal with Depth Jam was probably
- 21:49Speaker 4: like it felt like something.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Lebron would do. Or Rich Paul, would you know it
- 21:54Speaker 3: felt that way.
- 21:54Speaker 4: I had like I had a four album deal, which
- 21:57Speaker 4: is like everybody be having like six five album like
- 22:01Speaker 4: a four album deal, No, three sixty. Then after that
- 22:06Speaker 4: I would just sign for one album. I don't know,
- 22:09Speaker 4: let me think about it. You know what I'm saying,
- 22:11Speaker 4: just on some some rich part.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Your extension.
- 22:15Speaker 4: Yeah, just one one more album, man, I'll let you know.
- 22:17Speaker 4: And now, I mean I was going I'm independent now,
- 22:19Speaker 4: but I remember I was gonna be independent five six
- 22:23Speaker 4: years ago. Did the Pandemic hit. And then then I
- 22:26Speaker 4: started getting in line. I said this scary. Yes, I'm signing, man,
- 22:31Speaker 4: for sure, I'm signing.
- 22:32Speaker 3: What's wrong with y'all? You're crazy?
- 22:33Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 22:34Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 22:35Speaker 4: The lever started kind of switching when that Pandemic hit. Shoot,
- 22:40Speaker 4: but yeah, man, you said something, you said something. You
- 22:43Speaker 4: said the record label was like creating. They add bulk,
- 22:47Speaker 4: but they don't create muscle. That's that's interesting. Some stuff
- 22:51Speaker 4: I sing, I'll be saying some yeah, GPT get that
- 22:56Speaker 4: stuff from me. I'll be saying some shit, and then
- 23:01Speaker 4: I'll be putting in stuff to let you know, like
- 23:03Speaker 4: I'm kind of hipping like I've kind of be knowing
- 23:05Speaker 4: like the fitness type like that I know what tries
- 23:09Speaker 4: and y. You know.
- 23:12Speaker 1: So that's a good part though, So like like explain
- 23:14Speaker 1: that I think you need your own internal team before
- 23:17Speaker 1: you plug up to the big machine.
- 23:18Speaker 2: That's basically what I'm saying. There's so many words.
- 23:20Speaker 4: I think you get a lot of the details and
- 23:23Speaker 4: the stuff that you love as an artist from your
- 23:25Speaker 4: internal team. The other, uh, the bigger label as we
- 23:29Speaker 4: all know, as people like to call the bank and
- 23:31Speaker 4: all that, they're there too. Obviously they hope you win,
- 23:37Speaker 4: but if you don't, they got something. They got more
- 23:40Speaker 4: things up the pipeline. So it's like, look at it
- 23:43Speaker 4: like this, right, look at it like this. A lawyer
- 23:48Speaker 4: they have one hundred cases. Then you get in trouble
- 23:54Speaker 4: and you're the one person. Then you think the lawyer're
- 23:58Speaker 4: only doing them for you. You know what I'm saying.
- 24:02Speaker 4: And so that's the same thing that somebody might think
- 24:04Speaker 4: the label only doing the label got So you have
- 24:07Speaker 4: to take in this. You got to call your you
- 24:09Speaker 4: got to get involved in your own You got to
- 24:11Speaker 4: get involved with your with the same thing with you.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Like they got all these artists going on let me
- 24:17Speaker 4: and so not to say that I'm calling the label,
- 24:19Speaker 4: but I got a team that I can funnel my frustration, discramntles,
- 24:24Speaker 4: happiness whatever too, and they can plug.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Up to the machine.
- 24:28Speaker 4: And then I think that's how everything just kind of
- 24:30Speaker 4: connects and run smooth.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Well, that's what I wanted to get at too, because
- 24:34Speaker 1: correct me if I'm wrong.
- 24:35Speaker 3: That's how I look at it.
- 24:36Speaker 1: As far as I think a lot of people make
- 24:38Speaker 1: the mistake of thinking that the label's going to do
- 24:40Speaker 1: everything for them. You still got to get yourself high.
- 24:43Speaker 1: You still got to do the street work then, and
- 24:45Speaker 1: even for us, like we'll do whatever we do with
- 24:47Speaker 1: different corporations, that just helps amplify it. But it's up
- 24:50Speaker 1: to us to make the Instagram polls, to run around
- 24:53Speaker 1: to make the relationships, Like if we just relying on
- 24:55Speaker 1: somebody else to do it for us, even though that
- 24:57Speaker 1: they have multi million billion dollar know arms at the disposal,
- 25:01Speaker 1: you can't just sit back and say, Okay, I'm signed
- 25:03Speaker 1: to a label now, Like.
- 25:05Speaker 4: But that's what a partnership is, right, That's what it
- 25:07Speaker 4: should be. Yeah, I think that's what it should be.
- 25:09Speaker 4: I think everybody should do their part and then everything works,
- 25:12Speaker 4: you know, like it should.
- 25:14Speaker 2: That's what a partnership should be.
- 25:15Speaker 5: I think we get confused because we grow up in
- 25:18Speaker 5: the era where like we hear somebody got signed and
- 25:21Speaker 5: that's the celebration.
- 25:21Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, But it was because listen, it
- 25:26Speaker 4: was so hard to do that once upon a time.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Bro. It's not as hard now, but it was.
- 25:31Speaker 4: So hard to be First of all, it was so
- 25:33Speaker 4: hard to get signed then, it was so hard to
- 25:35Speaker 4: even know a person that knew a person that was signed.
- 25:38Speaker 4: It used to be a the degrees is closer now.
- 25:41Speaker 4: It used to be like like when I'm coming up,
- 25:45Speaker 4: when I'm coming up, I'm coming up in Atlanta, and
- 25:48Speaker 4: we got artists like at this time, like maybe Keylo
- 25:52Speaker 4: and Sammy Sam. I don't even know nobody that know
- 25:58Speaker 4: nobody that then that you know what I'm saying. It's
- 26:01Speaker 4: like that. And it's the same thing with like, especially
- 26:03Speaker 4: in the South, with my friend Dollar who was in
- 26:06Speaker 4: play a circle with. He put me on Wou Tang
- 26:09Speaker 4: and even Ja and he would be like, man, you
- 26:14Speaker 4: know what I'm saying.
- 26:15Speaker 2: But it's like.
- 26:17Speaker 4: When fans see see people like me now and I'd
- 26:21Speaker 4: be like, yo, it's just me.
- 26:22Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 26:23Speaker 4: I remember being a fan of people watching them on TV,
- 26:28Speaker 4: never seeing them in person until I became me, but
- 26:30Speaker 4: just watching them on TV wondering how this happened. You know,
- 26:33Speaker 4: you hear these Wu Tang stories now, but I don't
- 26:35Speaker 4: know that. I'm just looking at I'm just looking at
- 26:37Speaker 4: these I'm just looking at people. I don't you know
- 26:41Speaker 4: what it is as when you out here, you don't understand.
- 26:43Speaker 3: It's a budget.
- 26:44Speaker 4: You don't understand it's a stylist, it's a you know,
- 26:47Speaker 4: somebody had scouted for this location, this car is you know,
- 26:51Speaker 4: we just you know, we liked the lifestyle, you know
- 26:54Speaker 4: what I mean, And so early on when somebody got
- 26:58Speaker 4: a record deal, we automatically soon one that they were rich,
- 27:02Speaker 4: and two it was just like not the easiest thing
- 27:06Speaker 4: to get. And even when I got a record deal,
- 27:09Speaker 4: I don't know when it happens to you, I guess
- 27:10Speaker 4: it's different. I feel like I put the work in,
- 27:12Speaker 4: but now I feel like a lot of people get
- 27:15Speaker 4: record deal based off different things, not just music.
- 27:19Speaker 2: It was like it was like getting drafted. Get a
- 27:22Speaker 2: record okay, right, like right, okay?
- 27:23Speaker 4: The percentage probably like I ain't looking at it. I
- 27:25Speaker 4: ain't look at it like that. I ain't look at
- 27:28Speaker 4: it like that. I ain't look at it like that
- 27:31Speaker 4: because I just believed in myself. But I guess when
- 27:33Speaker 4: you look at it like that, like like that percentage
- 27:36Speaker 4: is so low out of you if you think about
- 27:38Speaker 4: like college, the people that are you think about people
- 27:41Speaker 4: that go to college, become a student athlete then get draft,
- 27:47Speaker 4: you know, and playful, it is very a very very
- 27:49Speaker 4: small number.
- 27:50Speaker 5: So if you even put it in that perspective, when
- 27:52Speaker 5: double XIL would have the draft class, you beat the
- 27:55Speaker 5: top you know what I'm saying, it be the top
- 27:56Speaker 5: ten or top twelve people.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Make it out of the class.
- 27:59Speaker 5: Then you go back and look at some of those classes,
- 28:01Speaker 5: like yo, damn, they were pretty spot on.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Yeah, people that wasn't on it.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, if you look at it, Blake sal that's them,
- 28:09Speaker 4: like the McDonald's All America exactly, because that's like a
- 28:12Speaker 4: I think they say to McDonald's All American. I think
- 28:15Speaker 4: eighty percent of those kids go to the league.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Yeah that's the best.
- 28:18Speaker 4: You almost like when you right there on that court,
- 28:20Speaker 4: you're almost knowing like I'm gonna be there in a
- 28:21Speaker 4: couple of years.
- 28:22Speaker 3: So they're actually making a documentary about it for real.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 5: McDonald's all American and it's following the history of it
- 28:28Speaker 5: and how it evolved just being the number one place
- 28:31Speaker 5: to find the next NBA talent. Yeah, you brought up
- 28:34Speaker 5: team because I think that's important.
- 28:35Speaker 3: You got your team here with you today, Vams here
- 28:38Speaker 3: with you, and then you brought up Jay.
- 28:40Speaker 5: There's a couple of things here that that are important
- 28:42Speaker 5: because it's the story here that you talk about having
- 28:45Speaker 5: an opportunity to potentially sign with Jane, but realizing that
- 28:49Speaker 5: you might have to leave some of the team behind
- 28:51Speaker 5: you to do it, and choosing not to do it.
- 28:53Speaker 5: So it talks about integrity, It talks about loyalty. Was
- 28:57Speaker 5: this the voice in the head that spoke to you
- 28:58Speaker 5: at this moment?
- 28:59Speaker 2: People but ask me that at all the time. That's
- 29:01Speaker 2: a good question.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Uh, this was before I got my record deal, which
- 29:07Speaker 4: is before tweeny twelve.
- 29:08Speaker 2: I don't think I was that tapped in back then.
- 29:13Speaker 4: I think this is something that I probably acquired twenty sixteen,
- 29:21Speaker 4: twenty seventeen and beyond. I think I probably had a voice.
- 29:24Speaker 4: I just don't think I maybe listened to it as
- 29:27Speaker 4: much as I listened to it now mm hm. That
- 29:29Speaker 4: situation along with a alone with just growing up. I
- 29:35Speaker 4: think a lot of situations sometimes I wonder what would
- 29:39Speaker 4: have you know, I had situations like that. I think
- 29:42Speaker 4: about go back to six or seventh grade. I wondered
- 29:45Speaker 4: about it, did this? I wanted did that? But that
- 29:47Speaker 4: was one of those situations. But at the same time,
- 29:50Speaker 4: I think my moral compass is is in a position
- 29:56Speaker 4: to where I wouldn't leave nobody behind that I'm really
- 30:00Speaker 4: rocking with, you know what I'm saying in any situation.
- 30:04Speaker 4: So this was a situation where I'm I'm rocking with
- 30:07Speaker 4: someone who's fully supported me, believing in me, and I
- 30:11Speaker 4: feel like this person put me where I could be recognized.
- 30:15Speaker 2: By some of the hierarchs.
- 30:17Speaker 4: So I just wanted him to wanted my guy to
- 30:19Speaker 4: be a part of whatever it was about to go
- 30:22Speaker 4: to what I thought was about to happen, and at
- 30:24Speaker 4: then and everything still worked out. We still everybody still amical.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Boy is still cool.
- 30:28Speaker 2: So that that was Rockefeller. It wasn't Rockefeller.
- 30:31Speaker 4: It was a situation where when I got a call
- 30:34Speaker 4: from JD one day, man, forgive me, y'all, I know
- 30:38Speaker 4: y'all tied it. I don't even want to keep going
- 30:42Speaker 4: into this. But I had got a call one day
- 30:44Speaker 4: from JD JD saying hold on.
- 30:46Speaker 2: He put me on the phone with Jay and it
- 30:51Speaker 2: was all of.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Them, and they was just saying like, but at this
- 30:54Speaker 4: particular time, it was when I was telling you about
- 30:56Speaker 4: having leverage, I was still independent, I'm doing these I'm
- 31:00Speaker 4: moving around and they just simply invited me to a
- 31:05Speaker 4: meeting and I wanted to bring someone with me, and
- 31:08Speaker 4: they were saying, you don't have to bring this person.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Now.
- 31:10Speaker 4: This person it's Tech. But Tech was a DJ. His
- 31:15Speaker 4: name was DJ Techniques. And I tell the story a
- 31:19Speaker 4: lot too. I think a lot of DJs are bigger
- 31:25Speaker 4: than just being a DJ.
- 31:26Speaker 2: They do more than just DJ right.
- 31:29Speaker 4: They have a mindset, they have a person out, they create,
- 31:33Speaker 4: they do different things. So if you think about DJ Drummer,
- 31:36Speaker 4: we know I mean this guy signed ooh. If you
- 31:39Speaker 4: think about cal It, you know what I'm saying. And
- 31:42Speaker 4: so when I at this particular time, I didn't realize
- 31:46Speaker 4: how much the word DJ maybe pigeonhole or hold you back.
- 31:50Speaker 4: So I'm just saying, man, man, my dog, DJ Technique.
- 31:54Speaker 4: They like I think JD like, Bro, you don't need
- 31:57Speaker 4: your DJ, you know what I'm saying, Like I get
- 32:00Speaker 4: and when I look in retrospect, I look at me like, man,
- 32:02Speaker 4: I'm probably sounding crazy because I'm like, man, I got
- 32:05Speaker 4: to brain. DJ says, They're like, man, what the hell
- 32:06Speaker 4: you talking about? You're not about to do no show,
- 32:09Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying. So we probably was just
- 32:12Speaker 4: it's probably just man cross and the communication just was off.
- 32:15Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 32:15Speaker 4: I'm partially excited because I'm getting these kind of calls
- 32:18Speaker 4: every day. They excited to work with me, and here
- 32:21Speaker 4: I am talking about somebody that believed in me. But
- 32:23Speaker 4: he you know, he got this name. So I remember
- 32:26Speaker 4: after that conversation, I telling me you got to lose
- 32:28Speaker 4: that DJ.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Man, you got to get that out of there.
- 32:33Speaker 1: So at what point, because you got a lot of businesses,
- 32:38Speaker 1: the rest of our Escobar lounge, you do real estate,
- 32:41Speaker 1: you know, at what point did you say I gotta diversify.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I can't just be an artist or was that always
- 32:49Speaker 1: part of the game plan from day one was to
- 32:51Speaker 1: just use rap as a way to get your foot
- 32:53Speaker 1: in the door, but not to just only focus on music.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I think the mentality for me was always to
- 33:00Speaker 4: have multiple strings of income. Off the off, the rip, off,
- 33:04Speaker 4: the rip, you know, anything can happen. And then with
- 33:08Speaker 4: the restaurant space. Once I understood what consistent passive income
- 33:20Speaker 4: could be, then it just changed my life on how
- 33:23Speaker 4: I kind of started putting pieces on the board because
- 33:25Speaker 4: you had a line of I forget the line, but
- 33:27Speaker 4: it was on the Large Junior album. You in Large
- 33:28Speaker 4: Junior was like the business something like along the lines
- 33:32Speaker 4: of like having businesses save me, like you know what
- 33:34Speaker 4: I mean, Like if I ain't have my businesses like
- 33:36Speaker 4: so like that's important because a lot of times when
- 33:38Speaker 4: you fly high, you only focus on one thing. You
- 33:41Speaker 4: don't think it's never gonna slow down, nothing's never gonna
- 33:44Speaker 4: change it in there. Yep, I've had I've had that
- 33:46Speaker 4: thinking I'm saying out with bankers and been man, look man,
- 33:52Speaker 4: I don't yeah, I ain't about to be doing this.
- 33:53Speaker 4: I ain't gonna have to do this, you know what
- 33:55Speaker 4: I'm saying. But you know, and then it's the same thing. Man, businesses,
- 33:59Speaker 4: they they go through a roller coaster tooths ups and downs. Man,
- 34:02Speaker 4: being an entrepreneur is not the easiest thing in the
- 34:04Speaker 4: world too.
- 34:05Speaker 2: That's a fact. You have to man you.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Cy, you know, sometimes you get paid lass if at all,
- 34:09Speaker 4: that's a fat you know. And so I have businesses
- 34:11Speaker 4: that that struggle. But I'm just a firm believer about
- 34:17Speaker 4: just things that I that I'm involved in, it, passionate about,
- 34:22Speaker 4: and I believe in a cycle of it just a
- 34:26Speaker 4: an nothing, just being great all the damn time. Once
- 34:29Speaker 4: you get that out of your head, mm, you can
- 34:32Speaker 4: you can navigate life differently, uh, in a better way
- 34:34Speaker 4: for me. So I understand, Like I look around the club,
- 34:39Speaker 4: be be cracking every like. Yeah, it ain't gonna be
- 34:41Speaker 4: like this forever. You know what I'm saying. I get it.
- 34:43Speaker 2: You gotta be slightly paranoid at all times.
- 34:46Speaker 4: Every y you say slightly, man, you crazy, you better
- 34:53Speaker 4: be paranoid.
- 34:53Speaker 2: You have to be paranoid. That's a fact.
- 34:55Speaker 3: You gotta be paranoid.
- 34:56Speaker 2: I I gotta.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I wanna apologize in advance.
- 34:59Speaker 5: I don't know how we went this far without giving
- 35:02Speaker 5: you a huge thank you for shouting us out in
- 35:03Speaker 5: the record.
- 35:04Speaker 2: I did. And yeah, I heard Shot and Troy talking
- 35:07Speaker 2: about the tax left.
- 35:08Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 35:09Speaker 5: So I mean, it talks about being in the know,
- 35:13Speaker 5: It talks about their points of financial education in the
- 35:15Speaker 5: moment that were in. Talk about how your viewing it
- 35:18Speaker 5: from your landscape. Obviously we've seen we've been to the restaurants,
- 35:21Speaker 5: but you're seeing a lot of your counterparts.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Now getting into the space. That's right, and you've been here,
- 35:25Speaker 3: So what is that like for you?
- 35:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I already knew this. I already knew I'm not lame,
- 35:31Speaker 4: so I don't do lame stuff. So I already know
- 35:34Speaker 4: that somebody can really look at what I'm doing and
- 35:37Speaker 4: get some game from me and get something from me.
- 35:40Speaker 4: And I also know that I ain't know somebody be like,
- 35:43Speaker 4: oh man, the only reason they did that cause me,
- 35:45Speaker 4: or the reason they got that because they just this
- 35:48Speaker 4: is my personality, not like that. But as I look around,
- 35:51Speaker 4: it's starting in my city alone, and how I mean,
- 35:54Speaker 4: it was already a black city, but man, so many
- 35:57Speaker 4: people that do what I do own so many great things.
- 36:00Speaker 2: And peace of property.
- 36:01Speaker 4: And as we all know and and heard a thousand times,
- 36:04Speaker 4: you can't buy no more land.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I mean we're not. You can buy more but they're
- 36:07Speaker 2: not gonna make any more land. And so.
- 36:12Speaker 4: You know, I ain't lame, ain't done no lame stuff.
- 36:14Speaker 4: Like I make invest and look cool. I make I
- 36:16Speaker 4: make a lot of stuff that people might not be
- 36:22Speaker 4: comfortable with. I make it look just. I make it
- 36:25Speaker 4: look cool cause it's just it's just it's just really me,
- 36:28Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying. It's just I'm so comfort
- 36:30Speaker 4: in my hand. I know, like I know, like I
- 36:34Speaker 4: don't know, man, I just know, like, well, I listened
- 36:38Speaker 4: a lot. I listen more than I talk over the years,
- 36:41Speaker 4: and I've been in the rooms and so I've seen
- 36:44Speaker 4: the ones that do a lot of talking. I see
- 36:46Speaker 4: them too. They come across my timeline. But I know
- 36:49Speaker 4: that somebody can really get some games just from watching me,
- 36:52Speaker 4: just from really like a day in like a twenty
- 36:55Speaker 4: four hours of me, I know somebody can learn something.
- 36:58Speaker 1: How how big is Atlanta in your development? Because it's
- 37:01Speaker 1: like for us coming to Atlanta and it is the
- 37:04Speaker 1: mecca of black business, black entrepreneurship. And I think that
- 37:08Speaker 1: that even plays a part as far as like the musicians,
- 37:11Speaker 1: I think it's more of an entrepreneurial spirit from the
- 37:14Speaker 1: beginning because of the city of Atlanta kind of cultivates
- 37:18Speaker 1: and supports black entrepreneurship.
- 37:19Speaker 2: That's my opinion. Which what's your thoughts on.
- 37:21Speaker 4: That we we piggyback off each other. I think it's
- 37:28Speaker 4: a it's a it's a great city net to network.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Everybody's one phone call away, one DM away. You can
- 37:40Speaker 4: you can. You can cut the ribbon on a business
- 37:44Speaker 4: at six o'clock, man, and we can send out a
- 37:47Speaker 4: few cars and.
- 37:49Speaker 3: The mayor would be there, like the mayor pull up.
- 37:53Speaker 2: His crew.
- 37:55Speaker 4: We can call him. We can call our mayor right,
- 37:58Speaker 4: you know, like my mayor. My mayor listened to the
- 38:00Speaker 4: same album. He heard you, he heard me, give you all.
- 38:04Speaker 4: You see what I'm saying, So our see that is
- 38:06Speaker 4: different in the fact that, Man, it's so many contributing
- 38:11Speaker 4: factors to the success in Atlanta, man, and a lot
- 38:13Speaker 4: of it being.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Black people in high places.
- 38:19Speaker 1: And the follow up on that, Atlanta, you were kind
- 38:21Speaker 1: of at the forefront of the music changing. You saw
- 38:25Speaker 1: the music change New York had it, and then you
- 38:28Speaker 1: saw around your time, your era, that's when it changed
- 38:31Speaker 1: in Atlanta took the torch. You saw that coming, or
- 38:34Speaker 1: you just kind of like was just in it and
- 38:37Speaker 1: it just happened like organically.
- 38:39Speaker 4: I saw it coming because it was becoming more and
- 38:47Speaker 4: more consistent with Atlanta, having records that got out of
- 38:51Speaker 4: Atlanta that iact, that got out of magicity.
- 38:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 38:54Speaker 4: Sometimes we had records that just stayed locally. But it
- 38:59Speaker 4: became a time that anything we did, people were gravitated
- 39:03Speaker 4: to it. And I come to New York and I
- 39:06Speaker 4: hear it like that. I can't believe they planning it,
- 39:07Speaker 4: because it was a time where music was very regional.
- 39:10Speaker 4: But then I remember, you know, coming to New York
- 39:14Speaker 4: and hearing Atlanta music. I remember hearing it a lot
- 39:17Speaker 4: when it first, you know, started happening a lot, and
- 39:20Speaker 4: that's when you know it's like your time, because everybody's
- 39:23Speaker 4: kind of receptive to what you're doing.
- 39:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it was, yes, Atlanta, but at that
- 39:28Speaker 5: early two thousands, it's a Southern movement, is Wayne.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Obviously, it's us Tip, it's g Z who she it
- 39:38Speaker 3: was just a whole thing, right. But the Wayne thing
- 39:42Speaker 3: is interesting to me.
- 39:42Speaker 5: Obviously, this is this is a good thing of your
- 39:45Speaker 5: This has been in a lot of Wayne talk over
- 39:47Speaker 5: the past couple of weeks. He's on record That's one
- 39:49Speaker 5: of my favorite mcs of all time. I probably probably
- 39:53Speaker 5: probably got in my top five. We used to argue
- 39:55Speaker 5: about Wayne's tip all the time. Being around him taught
- 39:59Speaker 5: you a lot, right y y you s you speak
- 40:01Speaker 5: about learning what work.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Ethic is, talk about how that shaped your career from
- 40:06Speaker 3: that point on and to where you at now.
- 40:08Speaker 4: I'm someone that learns in any room that I'm in.
- 40:11Speaker 4: I was on tour with with Bruh and just really
- 40:15Speaker 4: kind of watch how he moved and how convenience was
- 40:19Speaker 4: at that kind of at the forefront of the success,
- 40:23Speaker 4: the convenience of I just told, y'all, man, the bus
- 40:27Speaker 4: everything I just described, y'all, a bus with the studio
- 40:29Speaker 4: of the ship. I got all that for him. Everything
- 40:31Speaker 4: that I just describe, y'all just got it from watching him.
- 40:33Speaker 4: To drop everything that I just got it from watching him.
- 40:37Speaker 4: I just I just did, like this, this is what
- 40:40Speaker 4: you do. I I guess you know, and I I
- 40:43Speaker 4: did it. It was like, somebody's not hiding, you know,
- 40:47Speaker 4: the secrets to success. He's not someone that's that's hiding
- 40:51Speaker 4: if you pick up on it good. I mean, he's
- 40:52Speaker 4: not like take you to the water and make you
- 40:55Speaker 4: drink it either. But if you are smart enough to
- 40:59Speaker 4: be around one of the goats in real time.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Bro, you can't take nothing from that.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Bro.
- 41:05Speaker 5: I feel like there's not many people that he has
- 41:07Speaker 5: the best music relationship with. I feel like you have
- 41:10Speaker 5: a music relationship with him and a friendship with them
- 41:12Speaker 5: that's very unique and it's been cultivated. Obviously y'all put
- 41:16Speaker 5: out the joint album. How are you taking all the
- 41:21Speaker 5: talk around him these days?
- 41:23Speaker 2: I love him? Man.
- 41:24Speaker 4: Can't nobody say nothing do anything to change how I
- 41:28Speaker 4: feel about him. I love him deep down the side
- 41:31Speaker 4: like I love him, man, Dwayne Carter, that's my guy.
- 41:36Speaker 1: How family, that's something that you know you obviously got
- 41:42Speaker 1: the podcast with your son.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you brought your kids here today? Your wife? How
- 41:49Speaker 2: has that played a part in your success?
- 41:52Speaker 1: Because I just saw something with Ammon Shumker saying, like
- 41:54Speaker 1: a lot of the NBA players go broke because they
- 41:56Speaker 1: start having kids, multiple baby moms. That's like a thing.
- 41:59Speaker 1: It's broken families. That's a dynamic that has taken down
- 42:02Speaker 1: a lot of men. We see it now even all
- 42:07Speaker 1: over How how has your family played a part in
- 42:11Speaker 1: your success?
- 42:14Speaker 2: Played a big part of my success? Man? You gotta
- 42:18Speaker 2: mm hm.
- 42:20Speaker 4: My co stars, she plays a great leading role in
- 42:26Speaker 4: the household. My kids beautiful and smart, and I'm someone
- 42:35Speaker 4: that's very involved and want to be That's the main thing.
- 42:38Speaker 4: I want to be at the recital or at the game,
- 42:43Speaker 4: or at whatever. I'll be wanting to be there. Like
- 42:49Speaker 4: it's interesting seeing something that has your DNA grow up.
- 42:55Speaker 4: And I've been able to watch it up close, and
- 43:00Speaker 4: I'm sure watching it from afar, it's pretty amazing too.
- 43:03Speaker 4: I'm sure if you don't see your kids for a
- 43:04Speaker 4: couple of months and you see them, I'm sure that's
- 43:07Speaker 4: I'm sure that could be pretty amazing too. I'm not
- 43:09Speaker 4: gonna knock that, but like when I don't see mine
- 43:12Speaker 4: for a couple of weeks and come back and just like, okay,
- 43:16Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying, like it whatever it is, Oh,
- 43:17Speaker 4: it just gives me a great feeling.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Man.
- 43:19Speaker 4: I don't know, I just feel like that that was
- 43:22Speaker 4: my way. I think that was in my cars to
- 43:24Speaker 4: have a family stay grounded. You know, I think I'm
- 43:30Speaker 4: I'm not thinking I'm matured.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Very early. Man.
- 43:34Speaker 4: I was outside very early. I was I had sex
- 43:37Speaker 4: very early, I saw drugs very early. I stole cars
- 43:41Speaker 4: very I just did a lot of things very early.
- 43:44Speaker 4: So By the time I got to an age where
- 43:49Speaker 4: people started doing some of those things, I was already
- 43:53Speaker 4: maturing as an adult.
- 43:55Speaker 1: And we're getting to see artists mature too, because it's
- 43:57Speaker 1: like we see you and your family, we see Ti
- 44:00Speaker 1: his family, we see Jay. Like when we first started
- 44:03Speaker 1: to listen to music, it wasn't too much of that.
- 44:05Speaker 2: It was everybody was young. Everybody was just doing whatever
- 44:08Speaker 2: they was doing.
- 44:08Speaker 1: So now it is changing because it's like the music
- 44:15Speaker 1: is maturing because your artists are mature.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Yeah, the music, man, I can't wait to put out
- 44:19Speaker 4: my next project. Man, some fly shit man. This project.
- 44:24Speaker 4: My next project is with Static Selector, but it's it's
- 44:28Speaker 4: produced by Status select I've been talking about it, but
- 44:30Speaker 4: I got fifteen hundred and rants doing production on top
- 44:33Speaker 4: of his and I just revamped the whole project. It's
- 44:36Speaker 4: called Players Only Live Once, But it's it's my best
- 44:40Speaker 4: way I describe it is white suit red wine.
- 44:47Speaker 2: No stain.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Living on the head. Is that it is? That? Is
- 44:53Speaker 3: that crazy?
- 44:54Speaker 4: I'm talking about no marche white everywhere, only serving read.
- 45:03Speaker 4: I'm just trying to put you down. That's what this,
- 45:05Speaker 4: That's what my music, That's what this feels like. That
- 45:06Speaker 4: I'm putting out, so I'm excited about it. But I'm
- 45:10Speaker 4: right now I'm doing a book tour and this is
- 45:12Speaker 4: my first book and it's my first time being an author.
- 45:16Speaker 4: It won't be my last. But it was a lengthy process.
- 45:20Speaker 4: I learned a lot about the book space and I
- 45:25Speaker 4: learned a lot about myself while creating it. But my, my, my,
- 45:30Speaker 4: this music that I have put together and it's ready,
- 45:34Speaker 4: it's getting mixed. I'm done with it. It's like it's
- 45:38Speaker 4: some player stuff, but it's like it acts. It acts
- 45:42Speaker 4: as age, is what I'm trying to tell you. That's
- 45:44Speaker 4: what I'm going back to, that excess age.
- 45:46Speaker 2: You know.
- 45:47Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. It's it's pinky and let
- 45:51Speaker 4: me get a I might add that to it moment.
- 45:55Speaker 4: This is one of them like IM make announcement earlierly
- 45:58Speaker 4: were moving to Africa whatever, y'all bet So it's like
- 46:02Speaker 4: one of them things rock classes. You're real boy, Hey boy,
- 46:09Speaker 4: I'm finn to go to the studio of the night,
- 46:11Speaker 4: but we're doing back rack last night.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Boy, Come on, man, it is you. Uh.
- 46:15Speaker 5: You talked about the book process. We are fresh all
- 46:18Speaker 5: of going through that process. It's interesting because you did.
- 46:22Speaker 3: The audio book. We also did the audio book.
- 46:24Speaker 5: What was that like for you being in the studio.
- 46:26Speaker 5: Obviously you are recording artists, right a slash hyphen that
- 46:30Speaker 5: you're going to be a New York Times bestseller after
- 46:32Speaker 5: the book comes out, But what what was that like
- 46:35Speaker 5: during that doing the engineering of you actually having to
- 46:39Speaker 5: dictate and pronunciate.
- 46:41Speaker 3: Like, how was that for you?
- 46:42Speaker 4: I'm fine, I'm fire, And I listened and I listened.
- 46:46Speaker 4: I listened to audio books. Okay, so I've listened to
- 46:49Speaker 4: like the stale ones, and I've listened to something that
- 46:52Speaker 4: had a little affliction. And so when I'm reading the stories,
- 46:57Speaker 4: I'm already knowing I'm damn to change the voice on
- 47:00Speaker 4: some of that shit. I'm damn, he said she. I'm
- 47:04Speaker 4: doing all that with it, you know what I'm saying.
- 47:06Speaker 4: And like I said, I I'm one of them kids.
- 47:08Speaker 4: I used to raise my hand when I was trying
- 47:10Speaker 4: to read out loud. Yeah, I don't read the word.
- 47:12Speaker 4: I done read the word before I done got to it.
- 47:17Speaker 4: So I'm reading and looking up at y'all while you
- 47:19Speaker 4: know what I'm saying. I'm doing that up there, you know,
- 47:21Speaker 4: And I'm doing that very early. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm
- 47:25Speaker 4: going yeah, yeah, I'm I'm doing that, so you know,
- 47:28Speaker 4: I wanted to do that. And then first of all,
- 47:29Speaker 4: listened to myself listening to the audiobook back, It's like, damn,
- 47:32Speaker 4: it's funny, like because I don't realize I talk like that.
- 47:35Speaker 4: I don't realize I have an accent. I don't realize
- 47:38Speaker 4: any of that stuff. But like listening to the book
- 47:40Speaker 4: is like, damn, but you got some words you need
- 47:42Speaker 4: to work on. You might not be stephen A, but
- 47:46Speaker 4: you know, but I'm genuine man, I'm me, I'm transparent,
- 47:50Speaker 4: I'm very vulnerable in this and this is a very
- 47:53Speaker 4: like introspective piece of work man from me. I think
- 47:56Speaker 4: people be very surprised and talk about and reading is
- 48:00Speaker 4: difficult because we actually read it. I didn't like the
- 48:03Speaker 4: way that I sounded, so I actually had a professional
- 48:05Speaker 4: come and do it over for my part real because
- 48:07Speaker 4: I listened to audiobooks too, so I didn't like the
- 48:10Speaker 4: way I sounded and I felt like it wasn't the best.
- 48:15Speaker 1: So I know firsthand how difficult. Well it was easy
- 48:18Speaker 1: to you, but for me, it was difficult.
- 48:20Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, you know, I'm reading, I'm reading I
- 48:25Speaker 4: don't know. I was probably I probably read four chapters
- 48:27Speaker 4: a night until it was done right. But they got
- 48:30Speaker 4: to set up. They got to set up in my
- 48:32Speaker 4: personal space, my personal studio space, so I was comfortable.
- 48:35Speaker 4: I'm having probably got on slides or something, and they
- 48:40Speaker 4: got the mic set up and it was just like
- 48:42Speaker 4: reading out loud, and I don't know, I don't know.
- 48:47Speaker 4: I mean, you know, obviously after you get to reading
- 48:49Speaker 4: so long, your energy could fall up, so they have
- 48:52Speaker 4: someone letting you know about maintaining the energy.
- 48:54Speaker 2: But I don't know. I think it was it was
- 48:57Speaker 2: very important for me to do read mind.
- 49:00Speaker 3: It was very important. It's one of those things. It
- 49:02Speaker 3: was like you're in the studio all day.
- 49:04Speaker 5: I think being in education helped me do it because
- 49:07Speaker 5: I'm used to reading to kids, okay, and so I
- 49:10Speaker 5: remember it's the first time I ever sat down in
- 49:12Speaker 5: front of a classroom. The kids were untying my shoes,
- 49:14Speaker 5: they were punching my leg, and I'm just like, how
- 49:17Speaker 5: do I now focus on these words?
- 49:19Speaker 3: I got to show it to them, and then all
- 49:20Speaker 3: of that.
- 49:20Speaker 5: Prepared you for the moment of now getting in that studio.
- 49:24Speaker 5: The toughest part is when somebody's in your air. Like
- 49:27Speaker 5: you missed the on that last sentence.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Wait wait wait go back. You didn't say, uh wait
- 49:32Speaker 2: wait wait go back, go back.
- 49:33Speaker 4: Yeah, And man, it could get like I said, it
- 49:37Speaker 4: got a little lengthy. But and I was knocking three
- 49:40Speaker 4: or four chapters out of night and still recording some
- 49:44Speaker 4: music though.
- 49:45Speaker 1: And you work with our friend Charlomagne. Yeah, Black privilege,
- 49:49Speaker 1: talk about that. How that relationship come about? Man, I'm
- 49:53Speaker 1: gonna be truthful.
- 49:53Speaker 4: Man, I was working on this book and all I
- 49:55Speaker 4: know is Charlomagne kepped his way in there. Something This
- 50:02Speaker 4: sounds like, Yeah, I think I think he's just smart.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Man. You know, you know, you know, I'm a winner.
- 50:08Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 50:08Speaker 4: You know, when I put something into the university, most
- 50:12Speaker 4: of the time it's successful. So it was nothing Me
- 50:15Speaker 4: and him said downn't even talked about me. I looked
- 50:17Speaker 4: up I've seen his name or something. I was like, okay,
- 50:20Speaker 4: you know what I mean.
- 50:22Speaker 2: But you also helped him out with crystals? Yeah, yeah
- 50:25Speaker 2: about that. Yeah, he has a few crystals. I think.
- 50:28Speaker 4: Well, I know down in South Carolina where he's from,
- 50:31Speaker 4: and I know the I know the owner of like
- 50:33Speaker 4: all the crystals at Baltimore. It's a friend of mine,
- 50:38Speaker 4: and uh, you know, I'll be having my hands in
- 50:42Speaker 4: a little something and uh he Charlemagne was interested in
- 50:47Speaker 4: that that I had my hand in.
- 50:49Speaker 2: So I introduced him to.
- 50:51Speaker 4: Just cool, cool guy nature anything, and they built their
- 50:54Speaker 4: own rapport and he opened up I think he opened
- 50:57Speaker 4: up more than one.
- 50:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:00Speaker 4: Think he's doing this thing. So at times I want
- 51:03Speaker 4: to ask for a royal chi ray. Let me that black,
- 51:06Speaker 4: Let me that black man. You some shoot me son,
- 51:12Speaker 4: that black. You can't just let some of that. That's
- 51:14Speaker 4: the black affair, offensive black effect. Man, You're gonna shoot
- 51:17Speaker 4: me some new black tex.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Man, but uh, you worked out.
- 51:23Speaker 5: For you obviously you've been successful. Shotty mentioned watching your
- 51:28Speaker 5: kids and be a part of their lives. I mean,
- 51:30Speaker 5: you got one of the top young basketball players in
- 51:33Speaker 5: the country. Man, for a guy who loved was basketball,
- 51:37Speaker 5: what is that like like watching him be like.
- 51:41Speaker 3: Be way better than I want to? Yeah, they have
- 51:45Speaker 3: number ten and is he number ten in Georgia or what?
- 51:48Speaker 2: You know? He's rand naturally, but naturally he top twenty five. Naturally.
- 51:52Speaker 4: We just left to get here today. We just did
- 51:55Speaker 4: a tournament in Cincinnati. Yeah, they'll probably put out a
- 51:59Speaker 4: new ranking cause this youth sports stuff is it's crazy.
- 52:03Speaker 4: It's crazy.
- 52:03Speaker 2: It's crazy. It's crazy.
- 52:05Speaker 4: My son literally graduates in twenty thirty four and they
- 52:08Speaker 4: have like a twenty thirty four class twenty thirty.
- 52:12Speaker 2: You know, and it's it's real.
- 52:13Speaker 4: It's I mean, I can't even tell you how many
- 52:17Speaker 4: fights almost saw at this AU tournament this weekend. I mean,
- 52:20Speaker 4: the sheriff came real, real like passion from coaches, parents, kids,
- 52:27Speaker 4: and in the fourth grade, I did not have this
- 52:31Speaker 4: much passion about anything but these kids. And oh man,
- 52:37Speaker 4: it's just man. I love being around it right now.
- 52:40Speaker 4: I mean, if you haven't been around youth sports, well
- 52:43Speaker 4: it's football, basketball. If you just don't have motivation anymore,
- 52:48Speaker 4: just go around those kids, man. I mean the way
- 52:50Speaker 4: they jump up and down, the way they talk like adults,
- 52:53Speaker 4: the way they the mannerisms. You mix that with wherever
- 52:57Speaker 4: they from, whatever household, you throw that with background music
- 53:01Speaker 4: and some Nike it's some Kobe's just John Morans and
- 53:05Speaker 4: you got some entertainment going on.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Man. I love watching it. I love having a kid.
- 53:10Speaker 4: That is just so poised and so humble with having
- 53:15Speaker 4: a podcast with my son with him being because he
- 53:19Speaker 4: asked me in this tournament, like the games started getting
- 53:22Speaker 4: lit and he and womam, he said, Hey, all these
- 53:25Speaker 4: people come to watch me play?
- 53:28Speaker 2: Asked me that.
- 53:28Speaker 4: I say, I mean, they are some other people they
- 53:31Speaker 4: want to come see play, but you know, they want
- 53:32Speaker 4: to see you, know, and they want to see you
- 53:34Speaker 4: do good, and they want to see you they want
- 53:36Speaker 4: to see you fail too, you know what I'm saying.
- 53:38Speaker 4: They want to see him fail too. But I don't know, man,
- 53:42Speaker 4: I think my son his superpower is confidence. I've been
- 53:45Speaker 4: installing that confidence and this little black boy for so
- 53:49Speaker 4: long that it's hard to really rattle that, you know
- 53:51Speaker 4: what I'm saying. He got a couple of things to
- 53:53Speaker 4: work on, just like I do. But he's only ten,
- 53:55Speaker 4: and I'm just very I'm very, very proud of that.
- 54:00Speaker 4: I'm very proud of that kid. That's a dopeer compans.
- 54:02Speaker 2: I'm proud of that kid.
- 54:03Speaker 1: But it's also changed too, Like as far as youth sports,
- 54:07Speaker 1: kids have personal trainers now, the NIL deals now at
- 54:11Speaker 1: high school kids is getting millions of dollars before they
- 54:14Speaker 1: even go to the league. What's your Because you're a
- 54:16Speaker 1: sports fan too, So what's your thoughts on like how
- 54:20Speaker 1: it was before and how it is now?
- 54:23Speaker 4: This is long overdue. You know you're going that long
- 54:27Speaker 4: without no kids? Man, literally, bro, we used to be
- 54:33Speaker 4: hungry in college, like we used to be hungry. D
- 54:35Speaker 4: one full ride scholarship, full ride whoppers were ninety nine
- 54:40Speaker 4: cent boy, you know what I'm saying.
- 54:42Speaker 1: But you was hungry, but you was also hungry. You
- 54:45Speaker 1: think these kids is hungry because even I go to the
- 54:47Speaker 1: NBA games half of the day just running up and
- 54:49Speaker 1: down the court.
- 54:49Speaker 2: You think that they're really hungry.
- 54:51Speaker 4: Now you get hungry if you know something on the line.
- 54:59Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. Some of these kids know
- 55:01Speaker 4: something's on the line. And I think you start identifying
- 55:07Speaker 4: those kids by the hunger you see and the way
- 55:11Speaker 4: they move and the way they play. Some of these kids,
- 55:16Speaker 4: like before, they if they ever don't even go to
- 55:20Speaker 4: the league. They can get some money. Now, get the
- 55:24Speaker 4: right LinkedIn information, do the right investment. Who knows what,
- 55:27Speaker 4: and they can change their life through nil money. And
- 55:30Speaker 4: I think, and I know for a fact my son
- 55:33Speaker 4: he'll probably get it in high school. But I'm just saying,
- 55:35Speaker 4: like this time is way overdue. I mean you got man,
- 55:39Speaker 4: you got people that man, we got people that we
- 55:42Speaker 4: that went to college.
- 55:43Speaker 3: Man, we we look man, that boy.
- 55:46Speaker 4: I just seen Jalen Rose Man that man. Say you
- 55:48Speaker 4: the first person ever named Jalen in this whole in
- 55:52Speaker 4: the world. I'm trying to explain that to Heylo, like
- 55:54Speaker 4: what do you mean? You know how we got like
- 55:56Speaker 4: Jalen Johnson on our team? And I'm like, hey, you know,
- 55:59Speaker 4: like Jalen Brunt. I'm like, broh home the first one ever.
- 56:01Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 56:02Speaker 5: The All Star Game they had six Jalens on the
- 56:04Speaker 5: court at the same time. For real, you know it
- 56:07Speaker 5: was Jail Durant, Uh, Jail Durant and yet to do
- 56:12Speaker 5: for Jalen Johnson.
- 56:14Speaker 4: Ye, height a man ain't get a nickel, man, ain't
- 56:19Speaker 4: get a fire, man, ain't get five man get free dinner.
- 56:22Speaker 4: So I think that some kind of way, you know,
- 56:28Speaker 4: and it could get out of hand and make certain
- 56:30Speaker 4: teams lopside. Just depends on you know, you have these
- 56:33Speaker 4: boosters who have they can they can pay for a
- 56:35Speaker 4: championship now. But if you can't do it, you know,
- 56:38Speaker 4: let's do if you got enough money to buy you
- 56:40Speaker 4: a great team, you know, make sure these kids eating though.
- 56:43Speaker 2: Man, that's what it's about kids. Man.
- 56:45Speaker 4: Man, them coaches come to your parents' house, they be
- 56:49Speaker 4: looking around them. Folks know you ain't got no money
- 56:52Speaker 4: when they come and recruit you. Boy, you know what
- 56:55Speaker 4: I'm saying. They some coaches are compassionate about that, Like damn,
- 56:58Speaker 4: he come from this type environment.
- 57:00Speaker 2: It in some or not.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Man, they know to you think that's the way. We
- 57:04Speaker 3: watched Indiana do it this year. I mean, this is
- 57:07Speaker 3: a team historically has had the worst record in the
- 57:10Speaker 3: history of college football.
- 57:11Speaker 5: Yeah, you got a big booster like Mark you been
- 57:13Speaker 5: coming in. We're gonna bring the coach in national champion.
- 57:17Speaker 5: I saw mister b said he's trying to do that
- 57:19Speaker 5: for Eastern Carolina to see him do it, right, But who.
- 57:22Speaker 3: What about Atlanta?
- 57:24Speaker 4: No, But like think about miss what he's talking about
- 57:26Speaker 4: Carolina East Carolina, right, think about all the little Carolina
- 57:31Speaker 4: little the possibilities these kids got now because he buying
- 57:35Speaker 4: it now, he can't buy the ref reason and maybe
- 57:37Speaker 4: he can't, but he can't. He's like, yeah, but he
- 57:41Speaker 4: can bring in the talent. As far as Atlanta, I mean,
- 57:45Speaker 4: we have a lot of people that have capital too
- 57:48Speaker 4: and Atlanta. Do you know, I don't know if you
- 57:50Speaker 4: want to bring him what Tech or Georgia.
- 57:53Speaker 5: I was thinking Georgia was George's already powered Georgia Tech,
- 57:57Speaker 5: which used to be a basketball school, hasn't had to
- 57:59Speaker 5: say unfortunate recently.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Yeah, we're from that.
- 58:04Speaker 4: Kenny Anderson Tech era that Scott Scott, Marlburry, Travis Travis
- 58:10Speaker 4: Marlberry Maberry era. Oh my gosh, I remember he caught it.
- 58:14Speaker 4: I remember when he got named caught this alley opening
- 58:16Speaker 4: game and I was like, yo, this he was like
- 58:19Speaker 4: laying in the air man.
- 58:20Speaker 3: It was been a minute. The early two thousand they
- 58:23Speaker 3: went to the final four. They was like that all
- 58:25Speaker 3: the names we named, that's when they was like that.
- 58:28Speaker 5: Jack, So it was probably the last time they played
- 58:30Speaker 5: for the Chips Jared Jack.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Well, speaking of the book, before we wrap business, what's
- 58:36Speaker 1: the what's the worst financial move that you made, and
- 58:41Speaker 1: what's the best financial move that you made? Like what's
- 58:43Speaker 1: the what's the biggest mistake and what's the biggest Like when.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Let's talk about the bad stuff.
- 58:50Speaker 4: I invested into a dispenser, I invested into this place,
- 58:53Speaker 4: called Pineapple Express, and they basically just ran off with
- 58:56Speaker 4: my with my money. The reason that or cause it's
- 59:02Speaker 4: some millions involved, and the reason that that not only
- 59:04Speaker 4: hurts because it's the amount of money, it hurts because
- 59:09Speaker 4: I tapped on some of my friends, not like business partners,
- 59:12Speaker 4: some of my friends on giving them an investment opportunity
- 59:15Speaker 4: to be a part of something that was legal and
- 59:18Speaker 4: should have been been having some payouts. And I was
- 59:22Speaker 4: just trying to like I went to some of my friends.
- 59:25Speaker 4: That's the best way I can articulate that. I went
- 59:27Speaker 4: to some of my friends and I was like, you know,
- 59:30Speaker 4: give me fifty or a hundred, and i'm'a put you know,
- 59:33Speaker 4: and just and then so for these people at this
- 59:37Speaker 4: dispensary to you know, basically fold on the things that
- 59:43Speaker 4: they promised. And it's been multiple years. So I'm just
- 59:46Speaker 4: trying to get that lawsuit handle. That's a whole lossuit
- 59:49Speaker 4: to just get all get everything back from that and more.
- 59:53Speaker 4: And then I invested in a spect that I thought
- 59:59Speaker 4: was gonna be sc that's from and that junk smacked me,
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: smacked me talking about took me, smacked me, dispenser respect,
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: I know it's one more.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Spencer.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: Respect man, come on, man, I've made some I've made
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: some bad investments.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Oh man, come on one more. Yeah. Oh.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: And I invested in a land easement.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: Because it was like what certain billionaires do you know
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: when they hit you with that one? Billionaires do that
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: all the money they hit you with that one. I
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: put some money on some land easement that was supposed
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: to give me some kind of tax benefits, and I
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: lost some money there. The land easement was not as
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: much as the SPACs or the dispensary. But I I
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: can't sit in front of you and act like everything
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: I've done.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Yes, I mean it's part of it, yeah, part of it.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: I I can't let you out on that note, though.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Well what's the best what's the best thing you've done financially?
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Yeah, we give us the best. And then I got
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: we gotta we gotta talk music, but gotta tell us
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: the best.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: The best investment was first buying the dirt. This is
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: one of the best. It's one of the best. My
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: best investment is those kids education that has private school.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: But I bought the dirt to where Esco is now.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: I bought the dirt, then put a business on the
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: dirt and then turned that into a cash paying business.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: And then so that was that was l that was lucrative.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: My wife I bought her daycare that she's still on.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: She doesn't work there obviously somebody else has. But that's
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: very lucrative too, because AI can't make kids.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: I mean, that's gonna be all right. Those daycares is expensive.
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: Tuition them daycare, that's tuition. They care something else. Man,
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: that money, that money is different, but that's through property.
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: Let me think about something that I did. I invested
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: in SpaceX, yeah, very early on, early early on. Man,
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: If I tell y'all what I got in on SPACEXT,
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: I know y'all know that too. I'm actually I'm I'm
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: I'm invested in Anthropic too. I saw what they just
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: said about that. I don't know how valuation yeah, or
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: the government situation.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: What do you think? What do you think that's gonna
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: do for my investment? I'm in front of the right guy.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: I think that topical be okay.
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: Uh, there's going to be a part of the segment
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: that's looking at it like great, I'm glad you didn't
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: do it.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: What happened right after they said no their competitor said, yes, yeah,
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: so we got we gotta watch that. But you know,
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: you have Microsoft as an investor, you got Amazon that
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: whole ownership in it.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: That they'll be fun. I think they'll be fun.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: How'd you get at SpaceX?
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: You can't wait for that ip on?
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Hunh, that's a that's a big that's a big one.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Well and now I'm you're already at a trillion.
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: One point Well, it could be up to one point
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: five with the Xai situation being merged.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: I just had like a forty minute it was. It
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: was I was in the right place at the right time.
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: I know some pe guys that would when it came across,
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: they disk they would give me the opportunity to you know,
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: and you know with the investments, I gambled, So it
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: kind of feel like gambling with certain investments. So a
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: lot of times I wrote shakes too big and certain
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: stuff and not chakes big enough in other things. But
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: you know, the whole thing is like you're just trying
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: to come up with some multiples, man, you know. And
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: I got in with SpaceX very early. Let me go
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: back to that, got in there very early, and man,
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: I could I just tell y'all off the air.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: It just felt like I.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: Got in like early bitcoin. Let me just say that
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: I got in very early. But I'm in on that
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: and so that's a that's a good one. But it
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: hadn't I po yet, but so I need I told
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: y'all when we get off, because I got something to
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: all right, and then let me see if I got
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: one more that that that could. I think that's a
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: good one, though. I think that's a anthropic zen Water.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: I don't know if you've seen zen Water. It's a
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: water out that uh said water. I said that, But
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: zen Water is h A guy by the name of
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: Lance Collins did zen Water. He did body Armor with
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: that Kobe deal eight million, I think Kobe put in
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: or something. He did that, and uh, if you look
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: at zen Water, you see a lot of investments like
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: me and Harden and Travis Kelse and a few other
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: guys like that. But he is someone that's been in
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: the beverage space for many years and have sold different
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: beverages to different companies once they scale. And so I've
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: been with him very early on too, and I feel
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: confident about that. Some other stuff that I invested in,
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: I just don't know. I'm praying hope something happens, but
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: I think those three right there, I feel like, like,
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: like I said, I'm a little skeptical anthropy, but ai
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: ais is gonna.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: You only got to get one out of ten. That's
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: the average, they say. And you got the one, the one,
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: like it's like baseball. Yeah, and you're not going back
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: three hundred though. If you bath through hundred, great.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I think Jane Harden told us about this in water right, yep,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: for real, Yeah, he told us about it.
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: Yeah, because we were talking about the Kobe deal with
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: him and he was one of the people that got mentioned.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: I think Mike trave was involved as well. But yeah,
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: they did. They did pretty well on that.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Yeah. And and you see that being like.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: You see like that being a trend with with black
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: athletes that got money. Now they they learning what a
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: parlayed and they hearing about these Kolbe deals and you know,
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: you some of this stuff wasn't out loud. I think
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: that's the main thing. Some of them wasn't transparent.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: It was not loud. You had no clue.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: It was like some some of some of us people
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: look like us, got in those rooms and was not
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: passing on the information. It was not becoming or becoming
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: and that and that's how I got caught in the
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: dispensary stuff because I'm trying to be a bridge to
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: my my brothers. I'm like, yo, let me put you down,
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: let me help you out, let me give me this,
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: you know, and it just and that I'm really salty
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: about that because I was trying to really help some
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: of my friends in that instance.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: Right there in my head, the true just went off
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: when you said they they didn't want to build that bridge,
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: because that's what happens, right, which is why like we
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: become kind of a place that becomes the bridge, Like, hey,
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: here's the information, here's what we're hearing in those rooms,
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: here's how you can execute on it.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: But I y'all keep doing that.
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I want to talk about true because grabby night,
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: I'm watching the performance live.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: They didn't have two chains performing. But she's okay. Next year,
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: it's okay.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: Biaber's up there, got the guitar, his boxes on, putting
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: the beat together.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: You get to that hook, he pressed it the ad
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: little button.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I said change what I was celebrating And
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: what was that moment?
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: Like for you, man, I was just starting to get
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: text messages because I wasn't watching it when it was
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: going on. But Justin Bieber is a friend of mine.
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: We've been friends for a while, and he invited me
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: to a studio session that I could not make because
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: I was in another state. I wish I would have
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: came hindsight, and he ended up sending me the Yukon
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: record to do ad libs on. So when people hear
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: my yeah on Justin Bieber's song, he didn't steal that,
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: like that's a new Yeah, that's a that's straight out
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: to plastic. It's brand new, it's brand new, straft to rack,
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: no clearance, No, I cleared it, but it wasn't on
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: the clearance rack.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Yeah yeah and yeah man. It was just it's cool
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: to be a part of these little moments. Man.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: I I can't write that type of like I can
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: write the yeah, I don't even have to write that,
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: but what I'm saying, the story behind and Howard this
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: man up there singing in his draws like you dig
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: what I'm saying, and boy he hit him with the yeah,
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: and you know, people hear me like, boy, he used
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: your am. I'm like you know, because I don't know.
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: People were just not hearter for the first time. But
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: it was a great experience. And it's just like, man,
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: like God just be he just throwed me out there sometime.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: I'm doing something right, bro, That's all I can say. Man.
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: I was thinking about this on the way here today
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: when we were talking about all performance agent right, like maturing.
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: I feel like you walk into this base where you
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: fit in in every arena, like you talked about the
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: day in the life, Like if we saw you at
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: the Cardi B concept, It's like change should be there
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: also a game on the court, Oh yeah, he should
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: be there. If he's invest fast, he should be there.
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: If he's at Magic City, oh he's like you fit
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: in all these environments.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: So Cardi B.
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: I should be at a Cardi B show, I wrote,
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: I wrote something on her project. I should be a
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: court side at the Halls game because I have a
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: partnership with them through the Skyhawks. I should be an
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: investments because who else I'm investing? What else you said?
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: I'd be doing Magic City. I own my own strip
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: club as well. Let's do that. Candy Land, Candy La
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: forget about Candy Land. So me and Magic we like
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: we work in the same field. Yeah you dig what
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: I'm saying. Magic came to my club for my birthday
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: was like seeing Magic. Mister Magic in my club was
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: like a highlight for me. You know, his sons come
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: through all the time. But a lot of suff that
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: you name and Bro, it's not a reach from me.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: It's it's organic. It's what I'm trying. That's why I'm
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: really trying. It's really organic.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Bro.
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: I know you just ringing it off the top of
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: your head, but everything you name it is so organic
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: to me. I'm not looking out of place. I'm not
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: I'm not controning myself to fit in none of that
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: stuff you're talking about, because it's just really me. You
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: wear many hats I'm trying to keep doing on. I
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: just thought, look, I just thought, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: In New York, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: We used to say, Man, you say, man, your hat
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: drunk when you just throw it on any kind of way, Man,
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: you ain't drunk the hat. So I just got the
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: hat on just like look very it's very ghost face
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: killed love you, man, I love ghost Face.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: I love.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Yeah, but no, I was saying, like last year had
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: at best felt I never forget Shaka Bars. You had
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: you told him to come over to the club, so
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: you had, you had, you had dinner with Chaka Bars
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: and your strip club. That sums it all up right
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: like that, that sums up to alcoholics.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: This is why he he know this why tripped. He says,
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: your you're brethren. You know you know so and so
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: and so so. I know you know, I know he's vegan.
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: I got the vegan pizza restaurant around in a Lima,
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: so I said, he man, go trump a vegan pizza spot.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Man, Okay, he go.
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: I not already called and order him a piza, but
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: he going there and just order his own. So now
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: he got too much pizza. And I'm like, you know,
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: you're so. He said, I got this piece for you.
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: I'm like, no, this is for you. So now you
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: got this piece. Then he meets me at my strip
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: club and you know, he's like, no, you know I
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: don't drink. You know, I say, get the man some water.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: The man trip out because it's akaline water. He's doun
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: no dancers, no nothing, no dj no i'mbient.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: No, Paul.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: This man said, Yo, Virgin, you got alk line water
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: in the strip club. I've never seen this. This man
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: has acholine water. This man did a drop with me video.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: That man do a drop with me at the club.
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: Hey man, this man come to this club. This man
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: got alkaline water. I kind of know the benefits, but
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: I mean the way he was acting.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: No more reasons you should show up.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the Alkalie in Candyland and she come through.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: We got akaline one.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Day in the life. Well, congratulations, my brother. Get the
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: book is out out now. And now it's out now

- 1:13:21Speaker 4: if you come to this game with me, I love
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: the fact that you are a fan. But if we
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: could talk during timeouts and have time, that'll be cool,
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: because I really be watching the game. If you want
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: to talk during the game, I'm not gonna be mad
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: at that, but I just want to let you know
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: how sometimes I'll just be locked in and it may
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: seem like I'm ignoring you. But for the most part,

- 1:13:47Speaker 4: the Owners, I have different experiences.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: I go to the owner, the.

- 1:13:54Speaker 4: says owners right there, and then I walk through a
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: door and then there's another lounge, not the lounge where
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: you got to have.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: A little bit the little thing I say, you got
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: that little band?
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: You see a lot of them doing this in the
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: car breaking own you know break. So it's just I'm
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: offering someone an experience own this lounge to change. I'm
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: not sure if you should ride with me or not.
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: I gotta figure that out, but just being next to me,
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: it's a great experience for a game.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: Halftime.
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: We can run off why I did this song, who
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: I did this song, why I think this person, whatever,
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: But for the most part, you know. Once again, and
