- 0:09Speaker 2: also not sleeping.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Mccollor, and that guy would like a word with you.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Many of you know him when I spots for Damas.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Of course, that Kevin Show is going to be great.
- 0:21Speaker 4: The only thing that could be greater, of course, would
- 0:22Speaker 4: be that Donald Show.
- 0:23Speaker 3: We don't have that.
- 0:24Speaker 5: So we have That Kevin.
- 0:25Speaker 6: Show featuring the music of Dick Tunny and the Dream
- 0:30Speaker 6: in Color Orchestra, straight ahead, everything you need to know

- 0:47Speaker 6: that will give you some eternity to it, plus practical
- 0:51Speaker 6: tips for family life, spiritual life, and good old regular life.
- 0:57Speaker 6: It's Kevin McCullough Monday through Friday on That Kevin Show
- 1:08Speaker 6: and now from the Connors in Sullivan Broadcast Studios. A
- 1:12Speaker 6: man who is not what he wants to be, but
- 1:15Speaker 6: is way grateful that is not who.
- 1:17Speaker 7: He used to be.
- 1:19Speaker 6: Here the.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Just some of the sounds that happened at last night's
- 1:35Speaker 3: tip off before the festivities got underway officially. Uh and
- 1:40Speaker 3: that was the President walking into Madison Square Garden and
- 1:44Speaker 3: more than half the people there chanting USA USA. It
- 1:48Speaker 3: was very interesting. It was it was. It was a
- 1:50Speaker 3: perfect kind of snapshot of New York, by the way,
- 1:53Speaker 3: because you had the pro America Yay. We was glad
- 1:57Speaker 3: to see President Trump. Glad he's supporting are you know
- 2:00Speaker 3: one of our national pastimes, you know, national championship. We were,
- 2:07Speaker 3: We're glad to see him. We're proud of our country, USA, USA, USA.
- 2:11Speaker 3: And then during the actual national anthem, during the actual
- 2:17Speaker 3: singing of the song by the way, by a guy
- 2:20Speaker 3: who's just got a killer voice, I don't that that dude.
- 2:24Speaker 3: He was incredible. But was what was really bad about
- 2:28Speaker 3: it was is that while he's pouring out his heart
- 2:32Speaker 3: in this beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled banner, is
- 2:35Speaker 3: you have a bunch of jerks in the house that
- 2:37Speaker 3: begin booing. The camera pans passed the players on some
- 2:43Speaker 3: of the teams, and my wife asked me, she goes,
- 2:47Speaker 3: how come nobody has their hand on their heart and
- 2:50Speaker 3: you hear the booze going on, and I know what
- 2:53Speaker 3: they were doing. They were booing the president. He was
- 2:57Speaker 3: standing at attention, saluting the flag, saluting the country, while
- 3:02Speaker 3: the national anthem was being sung, but you had these
- 3:05Speaker 3: jerks that were that were booing during it because they
- 3:09Speaker 3: just don't like him. And I thought, that is a pig.
- 3:12Speaker 3: That is this classic New York half the crowd, USA,
- 3:16Speaker 3: USA half the crowd boo, we hate you. It's okay.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I felt bad for the next They they played their
- 3:25Speaker 3: hearts out. A couple of couple of strategic mistakes that
- 3:30Speaker 3: I think went against them, and you know Brunson getting
- 3:33Speaker 3: that foul so early on in the game, and then
- 3:36Speaker 3: he he didn't have the fouls to give later in
- 3:39Speaker 3: the game, and it kept him out of the kept
- 3:42Speaker 3: him out, kept him out of the game for a
- 3:43Speaker 3: good chunk of the fourth quarter that I think they
- 3:45Speaker 3: needed him for for his leadership, not necessarily because he
- 3:48Speaker 3: was going to score all the points, but because that
- 3:50Speaker 3: team runs different when when Jalen's in charge of you
- 3:53Speaker 3: know what's going on. So that's that. That was pretty interesting.
- 4:00Speaker 3: They'll play again Wednesday. There'll be another game this weekend.
- 4:03Speaker 3: It we're far from over. I had said if they
- 4:06Speaker 3: had if they could sweep San Antonio in San Antonio,
- 4:09Speaker 3: they would have a good shot at coming out and
- 4:12Speaker 3: sweeping the series. I don't think the NBA wanted that.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I think that's why the San Antonio Spurs got thirty
- 4:18Speaker 3: two free throw shots in the second half to the
- 4:20Speaker 3: eight that the Knicks got to shoot. I also, as
- 4:25Speaker 3: a former coach, was counting, and there were no less
- 4:29Speaker 3: than twenty five uncalled travel violations in the course of
- 4:35Speaker 3: the game. Oh, it just a weird experience. But they'll
- 4:40Speaker 3: they play another day, another day, this coming Wednesday. That
- 4:46Speaker 3: is the news that we have the enjoyment and the
- 4:52Speaker 3: ease of being able to talk about today because we
- 4:55Speaker 3: don't live in places like Lebanon or Iran. The Israeli
- 5:02Speaker 3: Defense Forces have had to issue an evacuation order to
- 5:06Speaker 3: the entire ancient Lebanese city of Tire, including the city's
- 5:11Speaker 3: Christian Quarter, citing Hesbealah activity in the Christian Quarter. They said,
- 5:16Speaker 3: in light of the terroristd Hesbelah party's violation of the
- 5:20Speaker 3: ceasefire agreement and targeting of Israeli's home front, the israel
- 5:26Speaker 3: Defense Forces are compelled to act against it forcefully. The
- 5:30Speaker 3: IDF do not intend to harm you, said the spokesperson
- 5:33Speaker 3: Akave Andre in a post today on acts. The warning
- 5:39Speaker 3: cautioned residents of the majority Muslim city to evacuate north
- 5:42Speaker 3: of the Zahrani River, roughly twenty miles north of the
- 5:46Speaker 3: city center. Your presence near Hesbelah elements or their facilities
- 5:51Speaker 3: or combat means endangering your lives. Adre continued, as we
- 5:56Speaker 3: warned in the past days, following Hesbela's elements actions inside
- 6:00Speaker 3: the Christian quarter in the city, the Israeli Defense forces
- 6:03Speaker 3: will be compelled to act against the terrorist activities in
- 6:06Speaker 3: the quarter in the near term. Translation, we going to
- 6:10Speaker 3: bombit now. That section of the city, which has been
- 6:14Speaker 3: continuously inhabited by Christians for nearly two thousand years, had
- 6:20Speaker 3: up till now been previously spared of Israeli strikes and
- 6:24Speaker 3: evacuation orders that had targeted much of the rest of
- 6:27Speaker 3: the city. Here's the thing, friends, the terrorists figured that out.
- 6:33Speaker 3: And so the terrorists said, well, they haven't bombed them,
- 6:36Speaker 3: they'll never suspect that we would launch missiles from there,
- 6:39Speaker 3: and they moved everything there. These guys are not sharp.
- 6:44Speaker 3: They're not the terrorists and has Belaw the ier GC
- 6:47Speaker 3: in Iran, and they're kind of one and the same.
- 6:51Speaker 3: You wonder if they have unnatural affections for farm animals
- 6:55Speaker 3: or something. I'm not sure like that. They are not.
- 6:58Speaker 3: They are not very bright. We can see everything they
- 7:02Speaker 3: do with satellite imagery, with tracing technology, we know exactly
- 7:08Speaker 3: where the missiles come from, and that's why we're able
- 7:11Speaker 3: to go back and take out the exact spots where
- 7:13Speaker 3: they launched them from. I also want to make this point,
- 7:17Speaker 3: and to me, it's a very important one. There are
- 7:20Speaker 3: only two militaries in the history of the world that
- 7:22Speaker 3: have done what Israel did here. Israel said, we don't
- 7:27Speaker 3: want to, but we're gonna have to come in and
- 7:29Speaker 3: bomb this section because this is where the missiles came from,
- 7:32Speaker 3: and if you value your life, leave this area. Most
- 7:37Speaker 3: people running countries putin, for example, just do the thing,
- 7:43Speaker 3: and if one of their missiles or drones hits an
- 7:45Speaker 3: apartment building that has a bunch of you know, mothers
- 7:47Speaker 3: and daycares in it, so what it's the cost of war.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Israelis don't do it that way. They recognize that there
- 7:55Speaker 3: are innocent people living in the Christian quarter of the
- 8:00Speaker 3: Lebanese city of tire T Yri, and they send the
- 8:06Speaker 3: message get out.
- 8:07Speaker 8: Now.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Some of the terrorists are going to hear that message
- 8:10Speaker 3: and they'll have a chance to leave too. Israel knows
- 8:14Speaker 3: they're not going to get a lot of the human
- 8:15Speaker 3: capital wiped out in this forthcoming action, whatever it may be,
- 8:21Speaker 3: but they are going to take out the missile launchers
- 8:23Speaker 3: and the capacity for that area to be used for
- 8:26Speaker 3: missile launching anymore. And in this part of the world,
- 8:30Speaker 3: it's either you stop killing us, or we're going to
- 8:33Speaker 3: have to kill you. And my heart breaks because there
- 8:36Speaker 3: are a lot of innocent people that are caught up
- 8:38Speaker 3: in the in the middle of all of it. IRGC
- 8:40Speaker 3: in Iran's the same way. Iurgc and has Billar the
- 8:43Speaker 3: same They're both operating at the behest of the Iranian crazies,
- 8:48Speaker 3: and both in Lebanon and in Iran, you have reasonable
- 8:52Speaker 3: civilian governments that don't want any of this, but they
- 8:55Speaker 3: are overpowered by the terrorist elements that live within their boundaries,
- 9:01Speaker 3: so they're powerless to kind of stop them. I'll ask
- 9:04Speaker 3: Katie McFarlane and Jacob Oulador about this later in the show,
- 9:08Speaker 3: because we're going to do a lot of foreign affairs
- 9:12Speaker 3: and national security today. But it's a sad day that
- 9:15Speaker 3: this Christian quarter in the Lebanese city of Tire is
- 9:20Speaker 3: probably going to have to be leveled because the heinous
- 9:24Speaker 3: animals that are the terrorists can't control themselves. So wrong,
- 9:29Speaker 3: so wrong on so many levels. All right, Kevin mccallough,
- 9:32Speaker 3: We've got a big show. Plus we still need your help.
- 9:34Speaker 3: We got to get these kids to camp. Will you
- 9:36Speaker 3: help us that kevinshow dot com. Click the banner at
- 9:39Speaker 3: the top of the page. That kevinshow dot com. Click
- 9:41Speaker 3: the banner at the top of the page. Seventy plus
- 9:44Speaker 3: kids have been sponsored, but we need to get to
- 9:46Speaker 3: one hundred. Will you help us? Right now that kevinshow
- 9:50Speaker 3: dot com.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Here he is from New York. Kevin McCullough, Welcome back.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Is that Kevin show. That kevinshow dot com now in
- 10:19Speaker 3: four hundred cities across the country. Thank you for having us,
- 10:23Speaker 3: Thank you for letting us be part of your day
- 10:26Speaker 3: to day busyness. I know that you are extremely busy
- 10:29Speaker 3: with your schedule and the fact that you let us
- 10:31Speaker 3: in for a few minutes each day. I'm just very,
- 10:33Speaker 3: very grateful. Everything we do is at that kevinshow dot com.
- 10:36Speaker 3: It's never behind a paywall. Go check it out, and
- 10:39Speaker 3: we have all those resources there for you for free.
- 10:42Speaker 3: One of the things that we like to do at
- 10:44Speaker 3: the top of the show is ask the big question.
- 10:47Speaker 3: We don't ask enough big questions anymore as a culture,
- 10:50Speaker 3: but this one is how do we live? How do
- 10:53Speaker 3: we live in the context of a culture that may
- 10:56Speaker 3: despise God, may despise God's word, may look at his
- 11:00Speaker 3: people as though there's something wrong with us. Does that
- 11:03Speaker 3: change what our job is? I would argue it doesn't,
- 11:06Speaker 3: so we need help in doing it even better. And
- 11:09Speaker 3: that's why I'm so excited to have a different shepherd
- 11:11Speaker 3: join me every week to break down a passage, something
- 11:15Speaker 3: he's been thinking about or talking about or writing about
- 11:18Speaker 3: with his own people in terms of discipleship and how
- 11:20Speaker 3: we live. And I'm very, very glad to welcome back
- 11:23Speaker 3: Bishop Nelson, who has been with us a couple of
- 11:27Speaker 3: times in the past. And we're talking about this idea
- 11:32Speaker 3: of the Divine architect. Bishop, We're talking about God's ability
- 11:38Speaker 3: as a creator to do some pretty incredible things, especially
- 11:41Speaker 3: when it comes to making human beings. And we're in
- 11:44Speaker 3: the Book of Genesis chapter two. What are we looking
- 11:47Speaker 3: at today?
- 11:47Speaker 7: Well, so we're looking at the fact. And yesterday, of course,
- 11:50Speaker 7: when we talked about God's plan he's the one who designs.
- 11:55Speaker 7: He has a purpose and just awesome in terms of
- 11:59Speaker 7: what God's did desire for us as a family as
- 12:03Speaker 7: a unit. And it was quite as interesting, Kevin. So
- 12:07Speaker 7: we look at even chapter two. God now has created everything,
- 12:12Speaker 7: plants the garden with some man. It's from the ground,
- 12:17Speaker 7: from the dust of the earth, shapes a man, blows
- 12:20Speaker 7: the breath of life in him, and it's just amazing
- 12:26Speaker 7: to see how God designs the whole thing. Puts Adam
- 12:32Speaker 7: in the garden, and verse eighteen of chapter two, the
- 12:36Speaker 7: Bible says, and the Lord God said, it is not
- 12:40Speaker 7: good that the man should be alone. Now before this,
- 12:44Speaker 7: everything God created in New Yo out of nothing. He
- 12:49Speaker 7: spoke it, it came into being. Let there be, and
- 12:52Speaker 7: there was, and the Bible says, and it was good.
- 12:56Speaker 7: Everything about God's creation affirms it is good. Then he
- 13:03Speaker 7: puts man in the ground, in the earth, and he's
- 13:08Speaker 7: the first thing.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Is says.
- 13:09Speaker 7: He looks at Adam, and the Bible says, and the
- 13:12Speaker 7: Lord God said, it is not good that the men
- 13:16Speaker 7: should be alone. So I wanted to talk. You know,
- 13:19Speaker 7: there's a few moments on the problem of isolation, because
- 13:23Speaker 7: sometimes I don't believe we pause long enough to recognize
- 13:28Speaker 7: that God's desire is for us to be in community,
- 13:32Speaker 7: and isolation is probably one of four greatest problems. I mean,
- 13:37Speaker 7: we live in a place like New York City, millions
- 13:40Speaker 7: of people are around us. Yet you could be in
- 13:44Speaker 7: the crowd and still be isolated. And so when you're
- 13:48Speaker 7: going through isolation, there's a sense of vulnerability here. God says,
- 13:55Speaker 7: it is not good for Adam to be alone. I
- 13:59Speaker 7: will make for him help meet, so the Baba says,
- 14:06Speaker 7: And God puts Adam in a long sleep, takes a
- 14:09Speaker 7: rib from his side, makes a completed woman and place
- 14:16Speaker 7: in front of Adam. And when Adam comes to, when
- 14:20Speaker 7: he revives and sees this creature he had never seen before,
- 14:25Speaker 7: he said, whoa. And so the idea is that there's
- 14:31Speaker 7: a sense of her coming from his side, you know,
- 14:37Speaker 7: so as an equal partner. And so, just in a
- 14:42Speaker 7: quick way, we look at the fact that there was
- 14:47Speaker 7: a sense of companionship that God desired for us to experience,
- 14:53Speaker 7: not from a pet.
- 14:56Speaker 3: You know.
- 14:56Speaker 7: People says, well, man, I don't care about other human beings.
- 14:59Speaker 7: I just love my pet. No, there's a sense of
- 15:02Speaker 7: communion that God desired for us to experience with a
- 15:07Speaker 7: fellow human being similar nature. Adam said, this is bone
- 15:13Speaker 7: of my bone, flesh of my flesh, and again coming
- 15:18Speaker 7: as a out of his side. And God said, I'm
- 15:24Speaker 7: giving her to you as a help meet. In other words,
- 15:30Speaker 7: she's your helper, you know, as I said to the congregation.
- 15:34Speaker 7: When my wife and I we lived in Tennessee for
- 15:38Speaker 7: several years, we had two boys, and then our denomination
- 15:42Speaker 7: act us to go to Ottawa, Canada, and so we
- 15:44Speaker 7: moved all the way to Ottawa and somewhere there, I'm
- 15:47Speaker 7: like God, I would love to have a daughter. It's
- 15:50Speaker 7: nice having two boys. I'd love to experience a girl
- 15:54Speaker 7: growing up. And God blessed us give us a daughter
- 15:57Speaker 7: by the name of Sigourney. And what she securely grew
- 16:01Speaker 7: up from a babe into womanhood. Something went off in
- 16:07Speaker 7: my mind. I realized, I have a deeper appreciation for
- 16:11Speaker 7: my wife having watched my daughter grow up, because see,
- 16:16Speaker 7: when Adams saw Eve, she was already complete. Many times,
- 16:21Speaker 7: even as husbands, we forget that within that woman beside
- 16:25Speaker 7: us is a girl like you know. I made a
- 16:28Speaker 7: joke about it that sometimes my wife would buy a
- 16:31Speaker 7: new outfit and get to a period.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Do you like it?
- 16:34Speaker 7: And you know, like, oh, you feel good about it.
- 16:37Speaker 7: But what she was really doing was waiting for my affirmation.
- 16:41Speaker 7: And so that woman God has given to us as
- 16:45Speaker 7: a partner is against help her. And sometimes even as
- 16:50Speaker 7: men and our culture sometimes fashions us to function independently
- 16:58Speaker 7: of that partnership. So sometimes I mean, I know, especially
- 17:01Speaker 7: Caribbean culture, it goes almost a sense that if you
- 17:07Speaker 7: depend too much upon the woman, or if you share
- 17:10Speaker 7: too much of the plan, you know, that gives her
- 17:12Speaker 7: too much.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Power over you.
- 17:14Speaker 7: And sometimes even our culture works against God's plan. And
- 17:20Speaker 7: that's why we have to be always mindful what's driving
- 17:24Speaker 7: us our culture or our biblical worldview, and because they
- 17:29Speaker 7: work in opposition. And so if we do it God's way,
- 17:33Speaker 7: we see our partner not as a competitor, but as
- 17:37Speaker 7: a complete or one we can be fully transparent with,
- 17:43Speaker 7: and one who re recognize is a helper from a
- 17:47Speaker 7: mighty God.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Well, this is so powerful, and in some ways it's
- 17:51Speaker 3: so countercultural because at least how the world thinks about
- 17:55Speaker 3: Christians and Christianity. The Hebrew word for helper, you point out,
- 17:59Speaker 3: is is that word easier? And yes, it's it's and
- 18:04Speaker 3: men won't like this, but it actually means a rescuer.
- 18:07Speaker 3: It actually means someone who saves him from himself. And
- 18:12Speaker 3: when I think of when I think of marriage specifically
- 18:15Speaker 3: in the modern context, you know, we've always valued it
- 18:19Speaker 3: so highly because marriage does some simple things. It civilizes
- 18:23Speaker 3: the man. The man isn't the wild rascal that he's
- 18:27Speaker 3: been prior to that at least he shouldn't be. It
- 18:30Speaker 3: provides protection for the woman, and it provides a nurturing
- 18:34Speaker 3: environment of two parents for the children. And when it
- 18:38Speaker 3: is done God's way, it is the greatest single determining
- 18:42Speaker 3: factor in the success of the child. If a child
- 18:45Speaker 3: comes from a two parent household where the parents are
- 18:48Speaker 3: married and love one another, that child has ten times
- 18:53Speaker 3: the ability usually to perform in the culture then than
- 18:58Speaker 3: someone who does not have that.
- 19:00Speaker 7: That's why the devil works so hard to undermine the
- 19:04Speaker 7: stability of the home. And you know, there are times
- 19:07Speaker 7: the force takes place, and there are times when different
- 19:10Speaker 7: things may happen, but God's desires for that communal coexistence. Yeah,
- 19:18Speaker 7: two loven parents raising children in a safe nerduring environment.
- 19:24Speaker 7: And while there may be exceptions over circumstances, we should
- 19:30Speaker 7: never ever forget the ideal, and that's what we should
- 19:33Speaker 7: all strive for.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Aspiration is a good thing, particularly when it texts in
- 19:37Speaker 3: the direction of scripture. Well, we're just getting started tomorrow.
- 19:41Speaker 3: We're going to talk about something called the Divine Design
- 19:44Speaker 3: and I can't wait to dig into that. But Bishop
- 19:46Speaker 3: Hugh Nelson, thank you for all that you're doing. Real quickly,
- 19:49Speaker 3: just ten seconds. Give everybody an invite to come to
- 19:52Speaker 3: the Urban Ministry Center this weekend to hear you preach.
- 19:56Speaker 7: Thank you, my friend, were God is graciously blessed us are.
- 20:01Speaker 7: Urban Ministry Center is located at sixth sixth zero Powell Street,
- 20:06Speaker 7: that's between Egerman and Neulance right in Brooklyn, New York.
- 20:10Speaker 7: And it is a pleasure for us to have you
- 20:13Speaker 7: worship with us, whether in the a thirty am service
- 20:17Speaker 7: or the eleven AM service. And so this is an
- 20:21Speaker 7: invitation to all of you. God has been good to us,
- 20:25Speaker 7: and we celebrate his grace and what he's doing in Browntool,
- 20:28Speaker 7: in Brooklyn and New York City.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Well, and I have as someone who has darkened your door,
- 20:34Speaker 3: I can tell you it's a friendly congregation that people
- 20:37Speaker 3: are going to feel right at home. With so please
- 20:39Speaker 3: do that. Friends, if you're in the area and you're interested, Bishop,
- 20:43Speaker 3: we'll talk to you tomorrow. Thank you. As always, friends,
- 20:46Speaker 3: we're coming right back from New York. Don't go anywhere.
- 20:49Speaker 8: Stick around for more than Kevin next here he is
- 21:09Speaker 8: from New York. Fact Kevin McCullough, welcome back.
- 21:17Speaker 3: It's that Kevin Show, that kevinshow dot com. We have
- 21:20Speaker 3: been on a mission for the last couple of weeks
- 21:23Speaker 3: to help as many children as possible who are the
- 21:26Speaker 3: children of incarcerated parents, find Jesus at summer camp. That's
- 21:32Speaker 3: what we're trying to do. We're trying to put those
- 21:33Speaker 3: kids in a position where they can find Jesus this
- 21:36Speaker 3: summer at Angel Tree Camp. Tom Tradup is back to
- 21:39Speaker 3: speak with me here, and Tom, I haven't had the
- 21:41Speaker 3: pleasure of actually being at an Angel Tree camp, but
- 21:45Speaker 3: you have, I think, on more than one occasion, and
- 21:47Speaker 3: you've expressed you've talked with some of the children, You've
- 21:50Speaker 3: had lunch with some of the kids, You've sat and
- 21:53Speaker 3: kind of gotten to know what their experience is like.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Take us inside what it's like to be at Angel
- 21:59Speaker 3: Tree Camp.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Well, let me just say thank you for having me
- 22:02Speaker 5: first off, and secondly, there is not to my knowledge,
- 22:08Speaker 5: and Angel Tree Camp. What they do is they make
- 22:11Speaker 5: arrangements with a network of summer camps all over the country.
- 22:15Speaker 5: All fifty states have them, and so it's Camp Pottawatamee
- 22:19Speaker 5: or something in Oklahoma until the second week of July,
- 22:24Speaker 5: and then it becomes Angel Tree Camp and for that week,
- 22:28Speaker 5: everybody is on the Angel Tree staff. They take over.
- 22:31Speaker 5: You've got Christian songs they're singing, You've got activities that
- 22:35Speaker 5: are all fresh air, fun things for these kids who
- 22:38Speaker 5: are children of prisoners, maybe have never been out of
- 22:41Speaker 5: a hot city before. Some of them are freaked out
- 22:44Speaker 5: just by the idea that they're going out into nature.
- 22:46Speaker 5: They where are we? And they start off the first day.
- 22:52Speaker 5: These kids that I met at Angel Tree Camp, I
- 22:54Speaker 5: went to one in California with Larry Elder, our friend.
- 23:00Speaker 5: The kids are kind of reclusive and keep to themselves
- 23:04Speaker 5: the first day, not only because they're new at camp
- 23:06Speaker 5: and they don't know anyone that happens at any summer camp,
- 23:10Speaker 5: but also they don't understand because I guess that nobody
- 23:14Speaker 5: tells them. All the kids at the camp this week
- 23:16Speaker 5: will be in the same situation you are. They have
- 23:19Speaker 5: a mom or a dad or maybe both or in prison,
- 23:23Speaker 5: and so by supper time they have made friends and
- 23:27Speaker 5: talked to somebody else and they go, what's your dad
- 23:30Speaker 5: in for? And they got, what do you mean? And
- 23:33Speaker 5: they suddenly it clicks that all of us here at
- 23:36Speaker 5: Angel three Camp this week have a parent who's incarcerated,
- 23:40Speaker 5: and so the barriers go down. They just start having
- 23:43Speaker 5: fun like every kid wants to have, and it's such
- 23:46Speaker 5: a blessing for them. And you said you're on a mission.
- 23:51Speaker 5: In fact, you have that sort of Howie Mandel. Look,
- 23:56Speaker 5: he's on the million dollar mission on a deal or
- 23:59Speaker 5: no deal. Yeah, you know, you've done so many good
- 24:03Speaker 5: things to get people to donate already for Angel Tree Camp.
- 24:07Speaker 5: It only costs two hundred dollars to send a kid
- 24:10Speaker 5: to camp, and it costs a lot more than that,
- 24:12Speaker 5: believe me, for the actual camp experience. But there's subsidies
- 24:15Speaker 5: and gifts and people who do in kind things, and
- 24:19Speaker 5: so whatever you can donate, you watching and listening. If
- 24:23Speaker 5: it's fifty dollars, if it's one hundred dollars. If you
- 24:25Speaker 5: can send a kid to camp for two hundred, that's great,
- 24:28Speaker 5: but if you can only afford a little bit less
- 24:31Speaker 5: or that's what you feel led to give, please do
- 24:34Speaker 5: because we'll combo that up with the other gifts that
- 24:37Speaker 5: are coming in. And every time we hit another two
- 24:39Speaker 5: hundred dollars, that means another deserving boy or girl who
- 24:44Speaker 5: through no fault of their own, has been placed in
- 24:47Speaker 5: this situation with a mom or dad in prison. They
- 24:50Speaker 5: didn't do anything wrong, and so it's an opportunity to
- 24:54Speaker 5: really bless a child. And you know, we're headed a
- 24:56Speaker 5: couple of weeks from now to the two hundred fiftieth
- 25:00Speaker 5: birthday of America. And what better gift could you give
- 25:04Speaker 5: to this United States of America on our two hundred
- 25:07Speaker 5: and fiftieth birthday than to have more young, positive Christian
- 25:13Speaker 5: kids heading into the future instead of kids who may
- 25:16Speaker 5: be going in a different direction, following in their parents'
- 25:20Speaker 5: footsteps and being part of a legal system and maybe
- 25:23Speaker 5: going to prison them.
- 25:24Speaker 3: So I think that's one of the most exciting things
- 25:26Speaker 3: because and look, those of you that listen to me
- 25:30Speaker 3: and watch you know that I'm an unapologetic evangelical Christian
- 25:34Speaker 3: excited about what Jesus did in my own life. I
- 25:37Speaker 3: want to tell other people about it all the time,
- 25:40Speaker 3: and even my former colleague Charlie Kirk, who you know,
- 25:44Speaker 3: he really was such an incredible person, changing the world
- 25:48Speaker 3: in so many ways. He said at the ultimately at
- 25:50Speaker 3: the end of his life, what he wanted to be
- 25:51Speaker 3: known for was courage about his faith. Friends, faith is
- 25:55Speaker 3: connected to this in such a deep level. First of all,
- 25:57Speaker 3: Prison Fellowship is the one that's organizing the entire thing,
- 26:00Speaker 3: and that is the ministry that Chuck Colson started when
- 26:03Speaker 3: he went to prison, saw the need for the Gospel
- 26:07Speaker 3: inside of prison, came out dedicated his life to helping
- 26:10Speaker 3: prisoners find Jesus. They have a Bible study program that
- 26:14Speaker 3: they have been using for years that is so effective
- 26:17Speaker 3: a lot of inmates find Jesus through it. Andy when
- 26:20Speaker 3: they graduate from that program, there's some benefits. There's some
- 26:23Speaker 3: actual benefits that they're given. One is that their kid
- 26:27Speaker 3: can be nominated to receive a president at Christmas time
- 26:31Speaker 3: from their parents' name. And the other element that they
- 26:35Speaker 3: get to do if they complete the Bible studies, nominate
- 26:37Speaker 3: their child for a week of camp. And as Tom
- 26:40Speaker 3: just said, these camps, and a lot of them are
- 26:43Speaker 3: Christian camps anyway, they're running a Christian camp press. Some
- 26:47Speaker 3: of them aren't, but a lot of them are. And
- 26:51Speaker 3: as Tom you were inferring, when the week is over,
- 26:55Speaker 3: they may have been a little gunshy getting in there,
- 26:57Speaker 3: but when the week is over, they're clinging to these counts.
- 27:00Speaker 3: They're like, We're go home, like it's been the most
- 27:02Speaker 3: magical thing they've ever experienced.
- 27:04Speaker 5: There are tears when they have to get back on
- 27:06Speaker 5: the bus, and a lot of them come back the
- 27:09Speaker 5: following year, and many of the kids stay in touch
- 27:13Speaker 5: over the course of the next year, supporting each other,
- 27:16Speaker 5: building each other up, and saying let's get together at
- 27:18Speaker 5: the cabin next year. So it is a life changing experience, and.
- 27:22Speaker 3: You make it happen. For two hundred dollars, go to

- 28:51Speaker 3: I'm reading in Travel and Leisure that a group has
- 28:59Speaker 3: come up with the world's first gluten free cruise. Now,
- 29:06Speaker 3: I have spent some time with some relatives and others
- 29:10Speaker 3: who need to be gluten free for health reasons, or
- 29:14Speaker 3: so they say, and so they tell me, and I
- 29:16Speaker 3: guess I'm going to believe them. Maybe I'm not because
- 29:19Speaker 3: I'm a curmudgeny, mean old guy, but I'm just curious.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Do you think, because you know the cruise space much
- 29:28Speaker 3: better than I do, do you think that this is
- 29:33Speaker 3: a a barn burner of a winner financially or whatever
- 29:40Speaker 3: for whatever group's going to adopt it. I guess it's
- 29:42Speaker 3: Oceanic Cruises, but they're going to have the Seliac Cruise,
- 29:45Speaker 3: which just the name itself makes me just want to
- 29:48Speaker 3: go right, oh yes, please let me get on a
- 29:51Speaker 3: cruise titled Seliac. But it's going to be a gluten
- 29:55Speaker 3: free ocean cruise in twenty twenty eight. I guess it's
- 29:58Speaker 3: only going to be the one cruise, but I don't know.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I think they're going to have a hard time selling
- 30:03Speaker 3: this out.
- 30:05Speaker 9: I think you're wrong, and I think, and I hate
- 30:08Speaker 9: to say that, Kevin, I do listen so many people
- 30:13Speaker 9: out there, including two my two first cousins, and I
- 30:17Speaker 9: was shocked because we come from a very hearty Italian
- 30:20Speaker 9: background with like no inbreeding, like no, there's no mind,
- 30:25Speaker 9: no other no, I mean, there's no other breeds in there.
- 30:28Speaker 9: Is what I'm what I meant to say, I'm out,
- 30:31Speaker 9: It's all I mean immigrants everything, So I mean the
- 30:34Speaker 9: Italians apparently they have a big Celiac problem. Maybe it's
- 30:39Speaker 9: coming from all the semolina. I don't know, but I
- 30:42Speaker 9: don't have that problem now dealing with my cousins, who
- 30:45Speaker 9: are first cousins.
- 30:46Speaker 4: I hear how difficult it is. We have a friend
- 30:49Speaker 4: whose little girl just developed siliac.
- 30:52Speaker 9: So, but that being said, Kevin, for you and me,
- 30:56Speaker 9: like this is a new thing to me, Celiac, Like
- 30:59Speaker 9: what I mean, you're gluten free like.
- 31:01Speaker 4: To me, and all this stuff is disgusting.
- 31:04Speaker 5: It's gross.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I've had it.
- 31:06Speaker 9: I can't even I have to cook gluten free pasta
- 31:10Speaker 9: on Christmas Eve for my cousins.
- 31:12Speaker 4: It's like giving somebody like like Plato.
- 31:17Speaker 3: It's like fa addition, it's like disgusting.
- 31:21Speaker 4: And I'm like, I can't even. I throw it out,
- 31:24Speaker 4: Like if there's leftovers, I throw it. No one's gonna
- 31:26Speaker 4: eat it. My husband is not gonna eat that.
- 31:29Speaker 9: But there are so many people, Kevin, with this diagnosis
- 31:34Speaker 9: that have a very difficult time going on vacation. If
- 31:38Speaker 9: you read the piece going on vacation anywhere to find
- 31:43Speaker 9: gluten free food. So you either have to find a
- 31:46Speaker 9: gluten free restaurant, right.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Or you have to remember what you can eat and
- 31:49Speaker 4: not eat.
- 31:50Speaker 10: Now, this will solve that problem because everything you're eating
- 31:56Speaker 10: is that lovely, delicious, gluten free you recipe that we've
- 32:01Speaker 10: all been craving.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Not However, it makes it easier for them, and that's
- 32:09Speaker 4: that I'm telling you.
- 32:10Speaker 3: It's gonna work well, And that's that's what we We're
- 32:12Speaker 3: always about, right, It's always about ease and convenience and
- 32:15Speaker 3: being lazy. Basically.
- 32:18Speaker 4: One of the best stories I have is our VIP
- 32:21Speaker 4: of VI I p our VP.
- 32:23Speaker 9: Deanna was upset with my brother and she travels with him,
- 32:25Speaker 9: which is very easy to do, Kevin.
- 32:28Speaker 3: And is it travel or easy to be upset with him?
- 32:31Speaker 5: Wait a minute, none of my business.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Keep going, please, So they.
- 32:35Speaker 4: Were getting on the plane to Italy and she was
- 32:37Speaker 4: traveling with him to Italy and she ordered him a
- 32:40Speaker 4: kosher meal. Harry isn't first class and they bring him
- 32:45Speaker 4: the kosher meal in the in the foil and he goes,
- 32:48Speaker 4: what is this.
- 32:49Speaker 3: She's like, you deserve that She did it as a joke.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Oh yes, because she wanted to get the screws into him.
- 32:58Speaker 4: But it's a great story.
- 33:00Speaker 9: She had to pre order the kosher meal, which is
- 33:03Speaker 9: what you know, our Jewish friends are used to doing
- 33:06Speaker 9: before they traveled.
- 33:08Speaker 4: They'll do it on a cruise ship.
- 33:10Speaker 9: And most of them, though, however, will know where to travel,
- 33:14Speaker 9: who's the best airline for that, or who's the best
- 33:17Speaker 9: cruise line to make accommodations, which I think is different
- 33:22Speaker 9: than the gluten free because if I was gluten free
- 33:24Speaker 9: and you and I took a trip today, for example,
- 33:28Speaker 9: we would either find a gluten free bakery, a gluten
- 33:30Speaker 9: free restaurant somewhere, right because now we can do that,
- 33:33Speaker 9: thank you chat GPT, or you make accommodations for what
- 33:38Speaker 9: you're eating, eat a.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Ton of protein, protein protein protein.
- 33:41Speaker 5: Potatoes have no better for you.
- 33:43Speaker 4: I don't think rice. I don't think rice has any gluten.
- 33:46Speaker 3: No, it's just wheat. It's just wheat, right, So you know,
- 33:50Speaker 3: so you could have potatoes, you could have rice, you
- 33:53Speaker 3: could have pasta that wasn't wheat based. But yeah, you know, again,
- 33:59Speaker 3: who wants to eat some of that stuff? I mean,
- 34:02Speaker 3: I love rice and potatoes and those types of things.
- 34:04Speaker 3: I actually think I do too, you know, sometimes I
- 34:07Speaker 3: prefer them to other things. Although I will tell you
- 34:09Speaker 3: last night, and if you're gluten free and you're listening,
- 34:11Speaker 3: I'm sorry, this is just going to totally wig you out.
- 34:14Speaker 3: But I had that meeting in midtown and I was
- 34:17Speaker 3: trying to get back to the McCullum manor last night.
- 34:23Speaker 3: My bride keeps teasing me. She keeps sending me a
- 34:26Speaker 3: text and she's like, I'm working on dinner. I've just
- 34:29Speaker 3: made it. It's the best carbonara you're ever going to
- 34:31Speaker 3: put in your mouth. When I got home, she was
- 34:35Speaker 3: not lying, she was telling the truth. It was amazing
- 34:39Speaker 3: and I had two servings of it, and I didn't
- 34:41Speaker 3: need either one of them, but it was really really good.
- 34:44Speaker 3: All right, So if people want to be part of
- 34:46Speaker 3: the Celiac cruise, and evidently this isn't the first time.
- 34:50Speaker 3: They did one in twenty twenty with Royal Caribbean buying
- 34:54Speaker 3: out all five hundred guest spots, and they've offered dirty
- 34:59Speaker 3: cruises through Royal Caribbean and Ama Waterways and Oceania over
- 35:03Speaker 3: the years. But this year they're doing it, or in
- 35:05Speaker 3: twenty twenty eight, they're doing twenty twenty.
- 35:07Speaker 9: Eight, which I want to point out Kevin is allowing
- 35:11Speaker 9: them a lot of preparation. So it's also allowing them
- 35:14Speaker 9: a lot of booking time, right, so if they get
- 35:17Speaker 9: this out now like they did, they might be able
- 35:20Speaker 9: to fill up this shit.
- 35:21Speaker 3: It's kind of a strange. It's two years away, say,
- 35:24Speaker 3: summer cruise, but it's England, Ireland and Scotland. Like when
- 35:28Speaker 3: I think, I think of.
- 35:29Speaker 4: The Caribbean, Yeah, I do two, but not in the summer.
- 35:33Speaker 9: So in the summer it's a big time to cruise
- 35:35Speaker 9: Europe because it's warmer, and especially in those places England,
- 35:39Speaker 9: Ireland and Scotland.
- 35:41Speaker 4: You're not You're not cruising in January.
- 35:44Speaker 3: All right, let's take a break. She's Lynda, I'm Kevin.
- 35:47Speaker 3: We're coming right back.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Let's stick around for more of that. Kevin next serving
- 36:03Speaker 1: it up. It's a no drink, MITTI. It's that cabinet
- 36:07Speaker 1: the show.
- 36:10Speaker 11: Aji Tree is not only about getting a gift. Angil
- 36:14Speaker 11: Tree is about building lives, building relationships, nurturing families, opening
- 36:22Speaker 11: the door for that family that actually needs the support.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Angel Tree is heaven sent.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Who wouldn't want that?
- 36:32Speaker 3: That is a volunteer for Angel Tree Camping. Her name
- 36:35Speaker 3: is Myra and she's been a volunteer for a few years.
- 36:38Speaker 3: And what she does is she goes to the Angel
- 36:40Speaker 3: Tree camp and she just loves on the kids. She helps,
- 36:44Speaker 3: she does whatever's necessary, and she has a heart for it.
- 36:47Speaker 3: You can tell, little Filipino woman and just loves serving
- 36:52Speaker 3: the Lord and loves loving on kids. And this is
- 36:55Speaker 3: a quick reminder that I need you to help us
- 36:59Speaker 3: get some really great kids and help them to have
- 37:02Speaker 3: some fun, to get some fresh air, learn about Jesus.
- 37:08Speaker 3: And by sending this boy or girl with a mom
- 37:11Speaker 3: or a dad who are in prison, because all the
- 37:13Speaker 3: Angel Tree kids have that in common, you're going to
- 37:16Speaker 3: change their life. Just go to that kevinshow dot com
- 37:19Speaker 3: and consider making a generous donation to the Angel Tree campaign.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Prison Fellowship provides kids who have incarcerated parents a week
- 37:27Speaker 3: away from their bad neighborhoods and the dangers of drugs
- 37:31Speaker 3: and gangs. And as you just heard Mayra tell us,
- 37:33Speaker 3: a week in the fresh air does something to just
- 37:37Speaker 3: change their whole outlook. It's so cool. Most of these
- 37:40Speaker 3: kids have never been to a camp. Many of them
- 37:42Speaker 3: have never been outside the city that they live in.
- 37:44Speaker 3: So to get to go on a bus to a
- 37:46Speaker 3: beautiful place in the country to be able to swim
- 37:50Speaker 3: and fish and do archery and do all the stuff.
- 37:52Speaker 3: And to not know this in advance, but to find
- 37:55Speaker 3: out that all the kids there are kind of in
- 37:56Speaker 3: the same boat that you are. None of them are
- 37:59Speaker 3: judging you, None of them you are saying, Oh, you're
- 38:02Speaker 3: not worthy of hanging out with our kids because your
- 38:05Speaker 3: parents are in prison. No, everybody's got a parent in prison.
- 38:08Speaker 3: And here's the other thing that they have. They all
- 38:10Speaker 3: have a parent who's in prison who has completed the
- 38:12Speaker 3: Bible study program from Prison Fellowship. And as a reward
- 38:16Speaker 3: for completing that program, they get to nominate their child
- 38:19Speaker 3: to go to camp on a scholarship. These kids could
- 38:23Speaker 3: never pay for summer camp on their own. It would
- 38:24Speaker 3: be five hundred to one thousand dollars per kid. But
- 38:27Speaker 3: for two hundred dollars and with the underwriting of some
- 38:30Speaker 3: of the expenses by the camps themselves, you can provide
- 38:33Speaker 3: that week of a way of camp that for that camper.
- 38:36Speaker 3: So let's do something good today. The most important part
- 38:39Speaker 3: of our angel Tree campaign is you your gift of
- 38:42Speaker 3: two hundred dollars at that kevinshow dot com gives these
- 38:45Speaker 3: campers impacted by incarceration, a full week of community water activities,
- 38:50Speaker 3: horseback riding, and all the adventures that go with it,
- 38:53Speaker 3: all woven with a christ centered focus. Throughout the whole week.
- 38:56Speaker 3: They're going to hear the gospel. Many of these kids
- 38:59Speaker 3: will give their life to Jesus as a result. That
- 39:01Speaker 3: Angel Tree banner at the top of that kevinshow dot
- 39:04Speaker 3: com is where you can make a secure online donation.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Thank you for whatever you are able to do to help.
- 39:10Speaker 3: We have at minimum thirty children that we're still trying
- 39:12Speaker 3: to get there before the end of this week, so
- 39:16Speaker 3: I need your help. That kevinshow dot com. Click the
- 39:19Speaker 3: banner at the top of the page. That kevinshow dot

- 39:25Speaker 3: Be a hero for a child who needs you today
- 39:30Speaker 3: and in a way that only you can do. You're
- 39:34Speaker 3: never going to regret it. Introducing that kid to Jesus,
- 39:37Speaker 3: introducing that kid to a whole different experience. Some of
- 39:40Speaker 3: these kids have never seen stars at night, because if
- 39:43Speaker 3: you live in New York, there's so much light from
- 39:46Speaker 3: the city you can't see the stars. But imagine going
- 39:50Speaker 3: to the Poconos or somewhere down the shore and being
- 39:54Speaker 3: at a camp where for the first time you see
- 39:58Speaker 3: the brilliance of the millions of stars that are in
- 40:03Speaker 3: the galaxy shining above you. There's kids that get emotionally
- 40:09Speaker 3: moved just by that. And by the time you get
- 40:12Speaker 3: to the week, the end of the week for the kid,
- 40:14Speaker 3: the kid like their life is changed. They're a different person.
- 40:18Speaker 3: You make that happen with your gift two hundred dollars.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Right now, I need five of you to go that

- 42:33Speaker 3: and checking out. I want to say thank you for
- 42:35Speaker 3: making our website that Kevinshow dot com the most trafficked
- 42:40Speaker 3: it has ever been. In its history. We had the
- 42:42Speaker 3: records breaking month in May, and it was all because
- 42:46Speaker 3: of you. I've got a lot in my brain that
- 42:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to work out this hour because I've
- 42:51Speaker 3: only got so much time, and I've got so much
- 42:53Speaker 3: to talk about. But there's some breaking news I feel
- 42:55Speaker 3: like I should get to first, and it has to
- 42:57Speaker 3: do with this. Just hours before the main primary kicked in,
- 43:04Speaker 3: Graham Platner should not be elected to represent Maine in
- 43:10Speaker 3: the US Senate, says who who? Says it a former
- 43:15Speaker 3: high level staffer for the candidate telling voters just hours
- 43:19Speaker 3: before the polls opened on Tuesday, Genevieve MacDonald wants a
- 43:24Speaker 3: state Maine representative, who worked briefly as Plattner's campaign director
- 43:28Speaker 3: last year, warned in an op ed in The Washington
- 43:31Speaker 3: Post on Monday evening, Platner is not someone who would
- 43:34Speaker 3: be good for Maine or for the country. While she
- 43:38Speaker 3: overlooked his Nazi linked tattoo and possible cheating scandals, McDonald
- 43:42Speaker 3: said in the piece titled I know firsthand why Graham
- 43:47Speaker 3: Platner shouldn't be US Senator, as she couldn't ignore how
- 43:50Speaker 3: quote he exhibits a pattern of dishonest behavior and ultimately
- 43:54Speaker 3: quit the campaign just after two months. I was one
- 43:56Speaker 3: of the Platiner campaign's first gaslighting casualties, said McDonald's was
- 44:01Speaker 3: first was disturbed by what she learned during her time
- 44:04Speaker 3: on his staff from August to October. If America wants
- 44:08Speaker 3: a stronger democracy, elect elevating leaders with integrity as essential,
- 44:12Speaker 3: she wrote in the piece, leaders with sound judgment and ethics,
- 44:16Speaker 3: leaders who embrace and live the ideals the nation stands for.
- 44:20Speaker 3: She complained about the series of skeletons that emerged, including
- 44:23Speaker 3: the Nazi link tattoo on his chest, recent allegations of
- 44:26Speaker 3: physical misconduct with an ex girlfriend, and leude Reddit post
- 44:29Speaker 3: that have rocked his campaign. She specifically took issue with
- 44:32Speaker 3: one Reddit post where Platner said white rural Americans are
- 44:35Speaker 3: racist and stupid. The demographic he attacked is one in
- 44:40Speaker 3: which he is now hoping to represent in the US Senate,
- 44:42Speaker 3: she says. The woman who made the allegations of physical
- 44:45Speaker 3: violence against Platner, Lindsay Fiffield, stood in solidarity with McDonald
- 44:50Speaker 3: after the piece was published on Monday night last year.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I watched a woman sacrifice her career to stand on
- 44:56Speaker 3: principle and warn the public about a dangerous man. Genevieve
- 45:00Speaker 3: has been relentlessly attacked, but she kept her honor and
- 45:05Speaker 3: her soul. She has inspired me to stay strong through
- 45:07Speaker 3: this storm. Among other revelations in the op ed, McDonald
- 45:11Speaker 3: said the campaign offered her a severance package of fifteen
- 45:14Speaker 3: thousand dollars contingent upon signing an NDA, which she refused.
- 45:21Speaker 3: McDonald conveyed that she wanted to believe Plattner's narrative of
- 45:24Speaker 3: redemption the candidate who often touts himself as a man
- 45:26Speaker 3: with a troubled past who has sent straightened up, but
- 45:28Speaker 3: she felt overwhelming scandals were too much for her to
- 45:31Speaker 3: continue working on the campaign. She also used the platform
- 45:35Speaker 3: in the post to take a dig at Platner, who
- 45:36Speaker 3: has pitched himself as a working class mayner, humble oyster, farmer,
- 45:41Speaker 3: small town harbormaster. I realized the campaign had not been
- 45:44Speaker 3: honest with me, as someone from a real working class background.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I knew this would undermine his cross party appeal. That
- 45:51Speaker 3: narrative has recently fallen apart as his campaign came under
- 45:53Speaker 3: fire from multiple angles. Plattner's mother owns a restaurant as
- 45:57Speaker 3: listed as the only customer of his oyster farm business
- 46:00Speaker 3: on its financial disclosures. He farms off a private island
- 46:03Speaker 3: owned by the family of his business partner, and his
- 46:05Speaker 3: father gave him two hundred thousand dollar loan to purchase
- 46:08Speaker 3: the home. I want better for my daughters and for
- 46:11Speaker 3: the people of Maine, McDonald wrote, Democrats are being sold
- 46:14Speaker 3: a narrative that Plattner is the only choice for the
- 46:16Speaker 3: race against Susan Collins. Main voters don't have to accept
- 46:19Speaker 3: that there are two other Democratic candidates on the ballot
- 46:21Speaker 3: in Tuesday's race, Governor Janet Mills and consultant David Costello.
- 46:25Speaker 3: So she's trying to torpedo her former boss, which if
- 46:29Speaker 3: he did all the things that she is describing there,
- 46:32Speaker 3: I think that would be worth telling people about. I
- 46:36Speaker 3: want to say this today, I said it yesterday. I've
- 46:39Speaker 3: known lots of veterans and lots of veterans that have tattoos,
- 46:44Speaker 3: all kinds, ones that symbolize many important things in their life, etc.
- 46:49Speaker 3: I've never had a veteran with tattoos tell me they
- 46:52Speaker 3: were a Nazi and be proud to have their tattoos
- 46:55Speaker 3: linked to nazis. Never known one and I've known thousands.
- 47:00Speaker 3: It's it's really rather remarkable in that respect. But you know,
- 47:05Speaker 3: good on McDonald. I don't get a lot from the
- 47:07Speaker 3: left in terms of mayacculpying, like bad decisions from the
- 47:11Speaker 3: Democrats these days. In the fact that she's actually asking
- 47:14Speaker 3: for some integrity and some some reasonable honesty, et cetera,
- 47:20Speaker 3: I think that's that's good for her. The Democratic Party
- 47:23Speaker 3: needs more of that in its midst it's so dishonest
- 47:26Speaker 3: and it's so violent and angry. I was going back
- 47:30Speaker 3: to the to the booing during the national anthem last night.
- 47:33Speaker 3: That really haunted me after the next game. It's one
- 47:36Speaker 3: thing to hate your president, and the same people that
- 47:40Speaker 3: have that issue are the ones getting into fights last night.
- 47:45Speaker 3: After after the game, you had people that there was
- 47:48Speaker 3: one report of somebody who took off a sign from
- 47:50Speaker 3: a bus sign and we're we're and was beating people
- 47:55Speaker 3: with the bus sign. Those things are heavy and they
- 47:59Speaker 3: took it off the pole and we're walking around beating
- 48:02Speaker 3: people with it. Because why the NIXT lost During COVID,
- 48:07Speaker 3: people ransacked all the stores that they possibly could in
- 48:11Speaker 3: multiple cities, but New York had a particularly bad run
- 48:14Speaker 3: of it. And at the time Mayor Deblasio was like, well,
- 48:17Speaker 3: we can't do anything about it, just got to let
- 48:19Speaker 3: it happen. I don't think that you do. I think
- 48:21Speaker 3: that part of the whole goal of trying to be
- 48:24Speaker 3: a representative government and trying to hear from the people
- 48:28Speaker 3: is so that we don't have to resort to abject
- 48:30Speaker 3: violence to get our point across. And why should anybody
- 48:34Speaker 3: abjectly violent be abjectly violent about a loss in a
- 48:38Speaker 3: basketball game. I know it's the championship, I know it's
- 48:41Speaker 3: the finals. Do you know how many other cities don't
- 48:44Speaker 3: have a team in the finals and you don't see
- 48:45Speaker 3: any of them running around rioting, breaking things because they
- 48:48Speaker 3: didn't make the playoffs or they didn't make the finals.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Big cities in particular have this issue La Chicago, New York,
- 48:57Speaker 3: and there are other big cities that don't have this issue.
- 49:00Speaker 3: You why do those cities have that issue? Is it
- 49:04Speaker 3: because there's an immoral party governing the city? Is it
- 49:10Speaker 3: because there's a well, we don't really respect rules or laws,
- 49:13Speaker 3: or etiquette or protocol or even just general politeness. We
- 49:17Speaker 3: don't have to be kind. What is wrong with the
- 49:22Speaker 3: people that that hate our countries. Well, they hate our country,
- 49:27Speaker 3: and we stand for We stand for decency, we stand
- 49:30Speaker 3: for what's good. We stand for integrity. Good on, good
- 49:33Speaker 3: on Genevieve MacDonald for saying something and for putting it
- 49:36Speaker 3: in print. If the people of Maine don't want to
- 49:41Speaker 3: have an embarrassment go to the Senate, they should pick
- 49:45Speaker 3: someone else in their primary. All the reports seem to
- 49:50Speaker 3: point to him being a very bad guy, but it
- 49:55Speaker 3: seems like bad guys are kind of what the Democrats
- 49:57Speaker 3: want these days. So who knows. You don't have to
- 50:00Speaker 3: vote for any of them. You know that right There
- 50:05Speaker 3: is another party on the ticket. There are other candidates.
- 50:08Speaker 3: And I may disagree with some things that Susan Collins
- 50:11Speaker 3: has done over the years, but she's not a Nazi.
- 50:14Speaker 3: I think that's worth saying. I think it's worth having
- 50:16Speaker 3: it pointed out. I've disagreed with her a lot. She's
- 50:20Speaker 3: voted against general Republican principles, common sense, Mega principles sometimes,
- 50:26Speaker 3: she's voted against life sometimes, but she's not a Nazi. Democrats, beware,
- 50:31Speaker 3: maine Ers, beware. Sometimes you get what you asked for.
- 50:35Speaker 3: I don't think this will be good in that situation,
- 50:37Speaker 3: but we'll see Calvin mckellaugh coming back from Times Square.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Here he is from New York. Fact, Kevin McCullough.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Always glad to have you with us. It's that Kevin Show,
- 51:05Speaker 3: that kevinshow dot com. Thank you for welcoming us into
- 51:08Speaker 3: your life. Four hundred affiliates across the country on radio
- 51:12Speaker 3: and a couple of TV stations and some other things
- 51:14Speaker 3: that we're doing. Everything's at that kevinshow dot com, never
- 51:17Speaker 3: behind a paywall, always wants you to have access to
- 51:19Speaker 3: the great information and the great people that we get
- 51:22Speaker 3: to talk to each week, Katie McFarland being chief among them,
- 51:26Speaker 3: truly one of my kat I'm just gonna you're gonna blush,
- 51:29Speaker 3: but you're one of my favorite people we've ever had
- 51:31Speaker 3: on the show, and I get to talk to you
- 51:32Speaker 3: all the time, and it's so cool. But today's a
- 51:36Speaker 3: serious topic. I wrote in town hall dot com today
- 51:39Speaker 3: that the calculus for what the administration is dealing with,
- 51:44Speaker 3: especially after the weekend attacks where Iran shot missiles directly
- 51:48Speaker 3: at Israel and has Belah, is not going away at all.
- 51:53Speaker 3: There's a new calculus here, and I think it's an
- 51:56Speaker 3: ingrained and embedded evil that is so deep within the
- 51:59Speaker 3: hearts of the has Belahn, the IRGC, and let's face it,
- 52:03Speaker 3: those are the groups we're dealing with. We're not dealing
- 52:05Speaker 3: with the civilians of Lebanon. We're not dealing with the
- 52:07Speaker 3: civilians of Iran. We're talking about those groups want peace,
- 52:11Speaker 3: I think, but we're talking about the really committed radical
- 52:15Speaker 3: activists who are willing to die for the cause. And Kat,
- 52:18Speaker 3: I've heard you say it before. I've heard other national
- 52:21Speaker 3: security people say before. If you have an enemy who's
- 52:23Speaker 3: willing to die for the cause, you can't deal with
- 52:26Speaker 3: them in a rational way like other enemies could. Your
- 52:30Speaker 3: thoughts on where we're at and what progress, if any,
- 52:34Speaker 3: is being made right now, You're.
- 52:35Speaker 12: Right, we're dealing with an enemy that can't be ration with,
- 52:39Speaker 12: reasoned with, convinced. They want to do one thing, and
- 52:42Speaker 12: that's kill Americans, kill chews, the Great Satan, the Little Satan.
- 52:46Speaker 12: You're never going to convince them. What you have to
- 52:48Speaker 12: do is prevent them from taking take away their ability
- 52:51Speaker 12: to attack you. Now, some people say, oh, that's regime change.
- 52:55Speaker 12: I am a little anxious about regime change because every
- 52:57Speaker 12: time we've tried it in the past, Afghanistan or Vietnam,
- 53:01Speaker 12: where we pick the new rulers, it just doesn't work out.
- 53:05Speaker 12: We end up having to come in and run the place.
- 53:07Speaker 12: And that's not what we want for ninety three million people,
- 53:10Speaker 12: smart people in a run. So what are the other
- 53:14Speaker 12: ways you could stop the people? Well, you have trust,
- 53:16Speaker 12: you verify, but then you enforce. And to me, what
- 53:20Speaker 12: President Trumps the predicate to all of what he's doing
- 53:23Speaker 12: now is to take away their ability, no matter what
- 53:26Speaker 12: they say, take away their ability to make war, which
- 53:29Speaker 12: is to completely eliminate their missiles, their drones, their military capabilities,
- 53:35Speaker 12: and then eliminate their ability to rebuild an industrial base. Now,
- 53:39Speaker 12: maybe if not forever, but certainly for a decade or
- 53:42Speaker 12: for a generation.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Well, and I'm wondering if there doesn't have to be
- 53:49Speaker 3: some more people die the next couple of rounds of leadership.
- 53:54Speaker 3: And the reason I say that is because it doesn't
- 53:58Speaker 3: seem to be that these people, even if we took
- 54:01Speaker 3: away all of their industrial capacity, it seems to me
- 54:04Speaker 3: that if they're really bad guys who believe that there
- 54:09Speaker 3: it's a different it's a different mode here. They're trying
- 54:11Speaker 3: to welcome in the twelfth e Mom they're trying to
- 54:14Speaker 3: bring about their messiah or savior, and they think that
- 54:17Speaker 3: they're instituting the end of times. And there's nothing in
- 54:21Speaker 3: traditional warfare or traditional security in national affairs that we've
- 54:26Speaker 3: ever run up against like this before. They believe they're
- 54:28Speaker 3: on a mission from God, to quote the Blues Brothers.
- 54:31Speaker 12: Yeah, and they don't mind if you die. They actually
- 54:33Speaker 12: don't mind if.
- 54:33Speaker 3: They die, and their families and their kids, and if
- 54:36Speaker 3: they all die, it's going to be a glorious thing
- 54:38Speaker 3: because they will have done the right thing.
- 54:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 54:40Speaker 12: I think that that's the grou if you're dealing with.
- 54:42Speaker 12: So what are you dealing with in Iran? I think
- 54:44Speaker 12: that right now there are two groups, roughly maybe many groups,
- 54:47Speaker 12: but two main groups, and that's the quote. Pragmatists who
- 54:52Speaker 12: realize that Iran needs to survive this war and needs
- 54:58Speaker 12: to survive it with enough economic capability, you know, energy, infrastructure, etc.
- 55:03Speaker 12: To rebuild. And those are the guys who were negotiating with.
- 55:06Speaker 12: Those are the guys who do want to make a deal,
- 55:08Speaker 12: not any deal, but they'll be willing to make a deal.
- 55:11Speaker 12: And then they're the ones that you talked about, the
- 55:13Speaker 12: ones who want to welcome in the end of the
- 55:15Speaker 12: world and those guys, no deal is going to work.
- 55:18Speaker 12: So I think what you're seeing is.
- 55:20Speaker 3: But I think those guys are pulling the strings of
- 55:22Speaker 3: the pragmatic guys. Am I wrong?
- 55:24Speaker 12: I think, well, I think that they're pulling some strings.
- 55:28Speaker 12: So that's why I'm taking a bigger picture of what
- 55:30Speaker 12: happens in the Middle East. So any agreement that you
- 55:32Speaker 12: would ever reach with these pragmatic guys, you have to
- 55:34Speaker 12: be able to enforce, and therefore you need the golf
- 55:36Speaker 12: Arabs in on the game. You need the you know,
- 55:39Speaker 12: the Amorantes, you need Kuwaits, you need all those other
- 55:42Speaker 12: countries to help you enforce the piece if you can
- 55:45Speaker 12: get to a piece. But the second thing is that
- 55:48Speaker 12: those the zealous, and they're mostly in the military, the IRGC.
- 55:52Speaker 12: Those are the guys who are trying to sabotage everything.
- 55:55Speaker 12: So as they see that an agreement may be getting
- 55:57Speaker 12: closer and closer between the US and these pragmatists, they
- 56:01Speaker 12: want to go screw the deal. So what do they do.
- 56:03Speaker 12: They attack Israel, knowing it Israel's going to attack back,
- 56:06Speaker 12: and then that'll stop the ceasefire. So these are the
- 56:09Speaker 12: same people who when it looked two years ago like
- 56:13Speaker 12: Saudi Arabia was getting ready to join the Abraham Accords.
- 56:17Speaker 12: What did they do? That's when they launched October seventh,
- 56:20Speaker 12: to make sure that that would scuffer any thoughts of
- 56:24Speaker 12: a greater and wider Abraham Accords. So what are we
- 56:28Speaker 12: going to do? Some people say, finish the job? Well,
- 56:30Speaker 12: what does that mean that? I guess to some people
- 56:32Speaker 12: it means I don't kill them all, destroy everything, destroy
- 56:35Speaker 12: their energy infrastructures, their civilian infrastructure. I can see a
- 56:39Speaker 12: limited finish the job, and that would be to finish
- 56:42Speaker 12: the military job, take remove any remaining military targets. I
- 56:45Speaker 12: can also see, as you suggested, keep going down the
- 56:48Speaker 12: tiers of leadership until you find somebody who wants to
- 56:51Speaker 12: do a deal. But I would always caution leave that
- 56:54Speaker 12: energy infrastructure.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Yeah, intact, I'm not in favor, not in favor of
- 57:00Speaker 3: blowing up their oil reserves or any of that. And
- 57:03Speaker 3: because genuinely, I think the president cares about the Iranian people,
- 57:07Speaker 3: like I don't think that he's sitting over there going, oh,
- 57:11Speaker 3: let's wipe out all Iranians, like I really do think
- 57:13Speaker 3: he sees it as the IRGC and HESBA law, who
- 57:17Speaker 3: are basically one and the same. They are the problem
- 57:19Speaker 3: and we need to eliminate them from the equation completely,
- 57:23Speaker 3: which is.
- 57:23Speaker 12: Why you need to have You need to have not
- 57:26Speaker 12: just the United States and Israel enforcing it, you need
- 57:28Speaker 12: to have all of the countries in the region. So,
- 57:31Speaker 12: for example, the way the IRGC works is they always
- 57:34Speaker 12: kept their money offshore in banks that were in the
- 57:37Speaker 12: Emirates right and once they were once the IERGC were
- 57:41Speaker 12: dumb enough to bomb hotels in Dubai, those banks said, okay, America,
- 57:46Speaker 12: let me open the books. Let me shure you what
- 57:48Speaker 12: cent our books here, you can take over. And so
- 57:50Speaker 12: as a result of that, Scott Bessel in the Treasury Department,
- 57:53Speaker 12: we're able to freeze all those assets. The other thing
- 57:56Speaker 12: that happened is that Iran turns out to move a
- 57:58Speaker 12: lot of money on cryptocurrencies, laundering through cryptocurrencies. Well, we've
- 58:02Speaker 12: gotten people to cooperate with us, and now we've shut
- 58:04Speaker 12: down all those cryptocurrencies. So even though Iran wasn't taking
- 58:07Speaker 12: in any money in the last two or three months,
- 58:10Speaker 12: they've been moving money around through these other means and
- 58:14Speaker 12: those have now been shut down. So that you know,
- 58:16Speaker 12: it's going to start getting hard, but a lot harder
- 58:20Speaker 12: for I Ran. That's why I think that eventually you'll
- 58:22Speaker 12: find somebody, whether it's maybe it's the third, the fourth,
- 58:25Speaker 12: eighth tier down who wants to do some kind of
- 58:27Speaker 12: a deal. And then interestingly, President Trump has kept alive,
- 58:31Speaker 12: has not gone after the regular Iranian Army. Now, the
- 58:35Speaker 12: IRGC Revolutionary Guard Corps, those are the guys who came
- 58:38Speaker 12: in with the revolution, Those.
- 58:40Speaker 3: Are the true believers.
- 58:41Speaker 12: Those are the ones that you've referred to. But still
- 58:44Speaker 12: standing around are this regular Iranian military. So is there
- 58:48Speaker 12: a possibility of the regular Iranian military joining up with
- 58:52Speaker 12: these pragmatists if there's a deal, maybe, who knows. There's
- 58:55Speaker 12: just a lot of moving parts, but it's never what
- 58:58Speaker 12: you see on your first clamps is important in those.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, and I think that if we're talking about,
- 59:04Speaker 3: you know, Israel and has Blot, it's the same thing.
- 59:07Speaker 3: The Lebanese people, the Lebanese civilian government, they don't want
- 59:10Speaker 3: the has Belah operating there, but they're too powerful. They
- 59:13Speaker 3: have all the weapons, the same story as IRGC. They
- 59:15Speaker 3: have too many weapons, they're too powerful, they can overpower
- 59:18Speaker 3: anything that the civilian government wants to do so, they're
- 59:21Speaker 3: kind of more or less handcuffed by them.
- 59:23Speaker 12: That's why I follow the money. If there's a way
- 59:26Speaker 12: that you can deprive them of their income, they lose
- 59:29Speaker 12: their power rather quickly.
- 59:30Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I hope I hope that we come up
- 59:33Speaker 3: with some of those solutions soon because I'm getting nervous
- 59:35Speaker 3: about how long this is dragging on, particularly with the
- 59:38Speaker 3: elections looming in November and the July fourth kind of
- 59:41Speaker 3: backstop that I've said, you know this, in my opinion,
- 59:44Speaker 3: it needs to be done by but I know the
- 59:47Speaker 3: President's not. He's he's more focused on getting the right
- 59:49Speaker 3: thing done than getting the immediate thing done. And I
- 59:52Speaker 3: think that's the right perspective. Hey, thirty seconds on this,
- 59:57Speaker 3: John Bolton, former ambassador, former CAB member of the Trump administration,
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: basically said last week, YEP, I did it. I took
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: things I wasn't supposed to have and I transmitted them
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: and I was sending them to myself and an over
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: unsecured servers and all this stuff, Katie, I thought, for
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: all of the punishment we've dealt out to Hillary on
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: the thirty three thousand emails and wiping the server with
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: the cloth and the server being in the bathroom in
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: Colorado somewhere where they had it installed. We can't be
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: holding her to a standard that we don't hold our
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: own side to. And I was really disappointed in former
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: Ambassador Bolton's actions, and I think that he's I hope
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: he spent some time kind of coming to Jesus, if
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: you will, when he has time to think about it.
- 1:00:44Speaker 12: When I left government, I walked away with nothing. I
- 1:00:47Speaker 12: didn't keep any files. I didn't even keep my address book.
- 1:00:51Speaker 12: I didn't keep my calendar one because I think that's
- 1:00:53Speaker 12: what you do. The people who walk away with everything,
- 1:00:56Speaker 12: that's because they want to write a book. They either
- 1:00:59Speaker 12: want to spin his three in their direction, or they
- 1:01:01Speaker 12: want to make some money. There are ways to write
- 1:01:04Speaker 12: those books and ways to access that classified information.
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: That are legal.
- 1:01:10Speaker 12: But the way that John was doing it was convenient,
- 1:01:12Speaker 12: which was to take it home in a briefcase. And
- 1:01:15Speaker 12: I think bullet scent of the law, whether it's Hilly
- 1:01:17Speaker 12: quent In or Joble.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it's what you have to do. And he
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: always struck me as kind of slippery, and he never
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: dealt with me straight, even off air, So I was
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: trying I was not surprised. It just wasn't. It didn't
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: surprise me anyway, Katie, you always appreciate your insights. Thank
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: you for helping us.
- 1:01:32Speaker 12: It's a pleasure.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: Kevin mccallach coming right, let's stick around for.
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: More of than Kevin. Next here he is from New York,
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: exact the Kevin McCullough.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Welcome back, Kevin mccallaugh. Glad to have you with us.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: Have you have you helped a child get to camp yet?
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: I'm not talking about your own kids. I've got three
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: kids eager to start camp. They're so excited about camp.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: They talk about camp all spring, can't wait for school
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: to be done because they want to go to camp.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: And they've been and they understand the joy and the
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: fun and the value and everything that they experience while
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: they're there. They enjoy the counselors who they've gotten to
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: know over the years, and they've they've made relationships with them,
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: and these are really kind of mentors in their life now.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: And that's great for my kids. But what about a
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: child whose parent was in prison and who they probably
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: think they may not ever get to see again, or
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: they're going to have very rare opportunity to interact with them.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: The one thing that all Angel Tree kids have in
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: common is that they all have parents who have been
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: to prison, have been in a prison program. But they
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: have something else in common. All their parents have also
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: completed the prison Fellowship Bible Study program and many of
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: them have become Christians. And in graduating from that program
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: inside prison, they are then given the opportunity to nominate
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: their child for a scholarship to a week of Christian camp.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: And I have to think about this. If they're excited
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: that their life was changed by Jesus, don't you think
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: they'd be a little excited about their kids' life being
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: changed by Jesus and it not happening in prison. Think
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: about that for a second. That's what that parent's hope
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: is is that their child won't just go to camp
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: and have a good time. It's that they'll find the
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: same Jesus that they found, but that they'll do it
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: not behind bars. Tom Traddup is with us. Tom. It's
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: so easy for people to give. They just go to
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: that kevinshow dot com and click the banner at the
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: top of the page. But there's a genuine kind of
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: earnest effort that the parents put in to get their
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: kid to camp. And I think when we understand that context,
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: it makes this even more special.
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: Really does. And I'm so glad you mentioned that because
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: the people who nominate these kids are the actual parents.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: They are still incarcerated in most cases, but they've completed
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: that first step toward having a real relationship with Jesus
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: and they want their children to have that. And that's
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: a very special thing that we can help foster. And
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: you know, Kevin, it takes two hundred dollars to send
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: a child to Angel Tree Camp for a week. That
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: in today's world is a lot of money. I just
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: filled up my car before I came in to talk
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: to you for eighty dollars, yass, And I'm like everybody else,
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: It's like, wow, budgets are tight, and what am I
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: going to do to get through the week. But if
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: I had a spare twenty five or thirty dollars or
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: fifty dollars, and I sent that through that kevinshow dot
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: com and made it a contribution to Angeltree. My contribution
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: gets matched up with others and we received a call
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: not to long ago from a little girl who was seventeen,
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: and I wish I had the audio I could play
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: it for you. But she was so touching. She said,
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: you know, look, I'm calling because I love Angel Tree
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: and I love what you guys do. I have a
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: little envelope next to my nightstand that I put money
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: in every time I do a babysitting job, and throughout
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: the year, I've been saving my money and I've now
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: got eighty five dollars and I'm giving it to Angel
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: Tree to help a child go to camp. And she said,
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: I'm not trying to make anybody feel bad, but if
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: I can do that at seventeen, y'all could do it too.
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: And she did make a good point. And it's not insignificant.
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: If you could give ten dollars or twenty dollars, it's
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: going to help somebody get to camp. But if you've
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: got two hundred dollars, bingo, they're on their way. And
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: summer is honest. So the camps have opened their doors
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: and there are a lot of kids on the waiting
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: list who are praying that they will get to go
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: to Angel Tree Camp this year. But that's all up
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: to you.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: Yeah, And even though even though summer is here. It's
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: not too late because these camps will run all the
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: way up through the Labor Day weekend, so we can
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: still get the we can still get kids to a
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: Christian camp and to have that experience. And simultaneously, Prison
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: Fellowship has come along, which was the whole vision of
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: Chuck Colsen to begin with, because he went to prison
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: for his sins and he saw the need for God
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: in prison and he came out. And they've done a
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Bible study program where if the person goes through it,
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: they are clearly presented the Gospel. They are clearly presented
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: with the impact on how that Gospel impacts their life
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: and will affect them. And many of them have made
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: a decision for Jesus. They complete the Bible study program,
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: they get to say, hey, could my kid get a
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: scholarship for Christian camp. What better way to cut recidivism,
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: to cut crime, to cut the habitual repeating of generational
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: behaviors than to say, let's get their kid the same
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: Jesus that the parent just found. But let's do it
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: long before they ever darkened prison's doors. And that's the
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: heart of the parent, that that's what the parent's praying for.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: That's what Prison Fellowship's praying for. That's what I'm praying for,
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: That's what Tom's praying for. We want these kids to
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: know their maker and it is. It is a special thing.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: So here's how it works. It costs two hundred dollars
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: total for one kid to get that week of camp. Now,
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: if you're up in the Northwest where I'm located, the
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: camps run five hundred to one thousand dollars a week.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: Many of these camps, Stephen Collins told us this last week,
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: they invest heavily into these kids and that's why part
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: of the cost is subsidized. That's why they can get
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: a week of camp for two hundred dollars is because
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: these camps have stepped up as well. So two hundred
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: dollars are going to give this child an unforgettable experience
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: in going to Christian camp. And while they're they're going
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: to experience Jesus in a life changing, dynamic way. Many
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: of them will come to faith. Sometimes it may take
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: them more than once to hear it, but then they're
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: gonna come to faith. The seed's gonna be planted. They
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: are going to have their lives impacted and changed that's
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: what your two hundred dollars does. It's like flipping on
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: a light switch for the gospel inside their heart. Your
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: two hundred dollars is the flip of the switch where
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: the light comes on. Will you join us? We've helped
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: seventy more than seventy children find it's a Christian camp.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: We have many more that are still on the list
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: of names. We need your help. That kevinshow dot com.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: That kevinshow dot com. Click the banner at the top
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: of the homepage. You can't miss it. It's a cute
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: little cartoon. It's really it's really fun to see. Go
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: to that kevinshow dot com and click that banner and
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: give that gift and help a child right now. Find
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Jesus this summer.
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: Come on here.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: He is from New York exactly then, Kevin McCollough.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: Welcome back to that Kevin Show, that kevinshow dot com.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: Will it ever end? That's the question. Is Iran ever
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: going to be solved? Worse than that, are the neighbors
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: in the neighborhood ever going to come to an agreement?
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: It seems like every time there's a ceasefire that the
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: countries that are involved in the ceasefire, keep fighting? What
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: does all that mean? How we where do we go
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: from here? And a lot more to get into. Jacob
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Bulldor is back with us from America First Policy Institute.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Middle East is his specialty, Jacob. It happens over and
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: over again. Last weekend we saw Israel and the formal
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: government of Lebanon is they're trying to work towards the
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: peace process, but has belaw operating within the Lebanon the borders,
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: doesn't like the fact that Lebanon's going down that path,
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: and so they just unleash missiles, and Iran's now taken
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: to unleashing missiles towards Israel. This is a I haven't
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: I haven't formulated the entire piece yet for townhall dot com,
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: but I'm going to write a piece about the embedded evil.
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: But we're dealing with just stubborn, mean, brutal creatures that
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: just don't want to bring peace about.
- 1:10:17Speaker 13: Absolutely, it's great to be with you, Kevin. I think
- 1:10:19Speaker 13: we're seeing one thing come to light in the last
- 1:10:22Speaker 13: couple of days. We have, of course, Iran's ambitions of destruction,
- 1:10:27Speaker 13: its nuclear program, all of these pieous sky dreams we
- 1:10:31Speaker 13: hope the pie in the sky and then separately its
- 1:10:35Speaker 13: own survival. And where the rubber meets the road is Hesbla,
- 1:10:39Speaker 13: which we have to appreciate is running regime's main form
- 1:10:44Speaker 13: policy achievement over the last five decades. It was it
- 1:10:47Speaker 13: came about in the early nineteen eighties. It was the
- 1:10:50Speaker 13: first effort by Iran to export its revolution, to export
- 1:10:53Speaker 13: its reign of terror, and today it is the key
- 1:10:57Speaker 13: infrastructure for its global terror around the world, including the region.
- 1:11:00Speaker 13: And so what Iran does not want to see, leaving
- 1:11:04Speaker 13: aside the deal itself, it is committed to seeing Hesbil
- 1:11:07Speaker 13: remain a part of Lebanon, otherwise it loses all of
- 1:11:10Speaker 13: that infrastructure and in my view significantly is degraded in
- 1:11:15Speaker 13: its capabilities and you know, and general standing. So I
- 1:11:18Speaker 13: think it's interesting. I think this is the first time
- 1:11:21Speaker 13: that Israel responded to a strike coming from another country
- 1:11:25Speaker 13: and Iran directly fires at it versus just kind of
- 1:11:29Speaker 13: a direct Ran fire.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: And I think that's the reason for that.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: Iran has poured a lot of infrastructure into all of
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: its proxies in Yemen, in the what the in Gaza,
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: in the West Bank, You've you've had you know, different groups,
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: but they're all Iranian paid for. Why are they Why
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: are they so deftly committed to most likely ending Hasbelah's
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: existence by continuing to have them engage Israel.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Well, it's a great question.
- 1:12:00Speaker 13: US has a very premier position for Iran, Unlike any
- 1:12:03Speaker 13: other proxy, which frankly is disposable to some extent, Hesbola
- 1:12:08Speaker 13: is not. And when the United States, when President Trump
- 1:12:11Speaker 13: in twenty twenty took out cost some solimony, that removed
- 1:12:14Speaker 13: a key strategic layer for the running regime. This individual
- 1:12:18Speaker 13: held all the proxies together for decades. Nostralla, the head
- 1:12:22Speaker 13: of HESBLA at the time, which Israel then took out
- 1:12:25Speaker 13: a couple of years later, stepped into the fold. Hesbela
- 1:12:27Speaker 13: has been involved in training militias in the Middle East,
- 1:12:32Speaker 13: in propping up adversarial regimes in Latin America, and funding
- 1:12:37Speaker 13: terrorism in our hemisphere and terrorism throughout Europe. All of
- 1:12:41Speaker 13: that is Hesbola, which is also the money changers and
- 1:12:44Speaker 13: everything in that enterprise, and so it is a cut
- 1:12:47Speaker 13: above the rest for that reason, and Lebanon is its
- 1:12:50Speaker 13: base of operations.
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: Sorry, if we know all of that, and I'm assuming
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: that the US knows everything you just said, why do
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: they continue to elude us?
- 1:12:59Speaker 13: That is the key right now, And I actually have
- 1:13:01Speaker 13: a piece coming out on that theme as well, that
- 1:13:04Speaker 13: you know, everybody has different objectives visa be Hesbela. For Israel,
- 1:13:07Speaker 13: it's existential. This is a group that's committed to its destruction,
- 1:13:11Speaker 13: hundreds of thousands of you know, rockets of different ranges
- 1:13:13Speaker 13: across the border. For the United States, this is the
- 1:13:16Speaker 13: key to the end state. With the Iranian regime, we're
- 1:13:19Speaker 13: trying to wrap things up with epic fury. I believe
- 1:13:22Speaker 13: that the way to do that, that road goes through
- 1:13:25Speaker 13: Lebanon and through Hesbola. If we can not only drive
- 1:13:28Speaker 13: that wedge, but definitively get Hesbla out of Lebanon, that
- 1:13:32Speaker 13: I think will be a profound nail in the coffin
- 1:13:34Speaker 13: of not the regime but what it's trying to do. Certainly,
- 1:13:37Speaker 13: as far as the threats of the Americans, I.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: Just think and they and they respect force. So why
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: don't we do to Hesbelah's leadership what we did to
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: Iranian leadership? Because if you if you are able to
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: do that, if you can cut the head off that
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: snake will will they reconstitute inside Lebanon.
- 1:13:54Speaker 13: That's a good question. And look, and Hesbela is just
- 1:13:56Speaker 13: as much an American problem.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: I mean, this is again, they're in our hemisphere. They
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: want to do things against us.
- 1:14:02Speaker 13: Yeah, the largest death of US Marines since the Battle
- 1:14:06Speaker 13: Viejima happened in Beirut in nineteen eighty three at the
- 1:14:09Speaker 13: hands of Hesbola at the time. And so this is
- 1:14:12Speaker 13: an American problem. I think you're right. And you know
- 1:14:16Speaker 13: you have Iranian RGC elements inside of Lebanon trying to
- 1:14:19Speaker 13: reconstitute Hesblo.
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: So the link is all there.
- 1:14:21Speaker 13: I think you're you know, I think that's that would
- 1:14:24Speaker 13: be the direction I would be looking.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: So let me ask let me ask you then to
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: pull the camera lens back a few thousand feet. If
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: if this is what's happening, and it's primarily Israel and
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: Hesbelah going at it, there are you, in essence saying
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: that the fruit of our conversations with Iran proper are
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: just going to kind of stay in this kind of
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: suspended limbo until that's dealt with, because it seems to
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: me they've loved playing games with us. Oh, we'll think
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: about it. This week every weekend, it's the same thing.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: We're close to a deal. We're going to go in
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: and get it done. By the time Monday rolls around,
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: their missiles dropping and places and people are mad at
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: each other again. And this time Iran fired on Israel
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: directly in response to some of the stuff they did
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: against Lebanon. But it's like, we're not making I don't
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: I can't sense that we've made any progress in Iran
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: in a few weeks now.
- 1:15:17Speaker 13: I think, you know, I don't want to get ahead
- 1:15:19Speaker 13: of the administration, but I think that would be a
- 1:15:20Speaker 13: productive way to look at it. Look, I think there
- 1:15:22Speaker 13: are different voices within the Iran regime right now. It
- 1:15:25Speaker 13: is to a degree a state of chaos in terms
- 1:15:27Speaker 13: of their communication among themselves. Who is the person actually
- 1:15:31Speaker 13: leading the discussion at any given time, shifts the idea.
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: And that's similar to Lebanon, right because you have the
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: formal government and they want peace with Israel, but Hesbelah
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: does it. In Iran, you've got kind of the civilian
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: population that we love and we want to see them
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: happy and they want peace, but the IRGC is calling
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: all the shots, keeping the terror in. You know, Holy hell, going.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Right, No, and I think that's right.
- 1:15:55Speaker 13: I think you know, and we already started, I mean
- 1:15:57Speaker 13: a historic process of negotiation direct talks in Israel Lebanon
- 1:16:00Speaker 13: that hadn't taken place in decades. So I think I
- 1:16:03Speaker 13: agree with you. I think we need to lean into
- 1:16:05Speaker 13: that process more. And I think, you know, whatever the
- 1:16:08Speaker 13: miscommunication is in the Iranian side of the delays, they'll
- 1:16:10Speaker 13: all get on one page once they see a unified
- 1:16:13Speaker 13: effort at getting has blaut of there, and that'll be
- 1:16:16Speaker 13: a very profound blow to that.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Or the longer has a law lives, they'll fight on
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: thinking that they have reason to believe that they won't
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: be this disbanded that it's really it's really kind of puzzling, Jacob.
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: I appreciate you explaining all of it to us, though,
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: Thank you for being here.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: It's great to be with you. Kevin peg got it.
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: Kevin McCullough. Always glad to have you here. It's that
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: Kevin Show, that kevinshow dot com.
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: Stick around for more of that Kevin next serving it up.
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: It's a no drink mental. It's that Kevin Show.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: Well, welcome back. It's that Kevin Show, that Kevinshow dot
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: some pretty encouraging news. Earlier, I was talking about the
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: Senate race in Maine, and lo and behold, I'm amazed
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: by the miracle of all this. Susan Collins is in
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: the fight for her life for her Senate seat, and
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: lo and behold, in the last few moments, she has
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: seen the light. She has figured out what she needs
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: to do as the Republican senator from Maine. And I
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: think it's because this is an eighty to twenty issue,
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: even in her state, which is a largely purple state,
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: but eighty percent of the people there want this to happen.
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: And she was kind of being hoy and kind of
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: holding out and saying I didn't know what I was
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: going to do. But she's seen the light. She is
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: coming around. And here's the issue. It's the least controversial
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: thing that she'll probably ever vote on. It's the Save
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: America Act, and she he has now said that she
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: will vote for it. During the Senate's marathon voter rama
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: to advance the GOP seventy billion immigration enforcement package, Republicans
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: tried twice to attach safeguarding America voter eligibility the Save
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: America Act to the massive legislation. They failed both times,
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: with some Republicans joining Senate Democrats to steamy the effort.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: Given that Lindsey Graham and Mike Lee and others had
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: to break through the filibuster, it was already kind of
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: in trouble, but Susan Collins is the crack. Four Republicans Collins, Murkowski, McConnell,
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: and Tillis voted against it. Their defections prevented the bill
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: from getting fifty votes, a prerequisite for success if Republicans
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: were to launch a talking filibuster, but Lee's attempt did
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: hit fifty votes, with Collins flipping her vote to support
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: the original version of the Save America Act. Lee cheered
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: the moment on act shortly after as the voter rama
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: still raged, and noted that with Vice President JD. Vance
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: serving as the possible fifty first vote, the Save America
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: Act could pass the Senate. And friends, if you are
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: new to this piece of legislation, all it does is
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: require if you are going to register to vote, it
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: requires you to bring an ID with you. You bring
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: in your IDs, and this is me. See picture, same
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: name address, This is where I'm at, this is me.
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: When you register, they put that all into your voter registration.
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: You're golden. You show up on election day, you bring
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: the ID back with you so that they can tell,
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: they can tell proof positive that it is in fact
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: you that is voting that day. Now, like I said,
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: this is an eighty twenty maybe a ninety ten issue
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: in the general public. Democrats want it, Republicans want it,
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: and independents really want it. They want honest elections. They
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: want to make sure that the people that are voting
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: are the ones who are supposed to be voting, and
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: that there's not And friends, look at what's going on
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: in California. They're literally stealing a primary race. By how
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: far are we behind? Okay, let's go find some more
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: that they're literally doing it in California in front of
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: our eyes. In the mayor's race in Los Angeles, just harvesting, Well,
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: where can we get some more votes? We haven't, we
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: haven't stopped the county. They finally did in the governor's
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: race and Steve Hilton held on to a spot for
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: the big for the big day. But in LA you've
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: got much bigger, deeper pockets of corruption. You've got all
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: kinds of ballots that probably got sent out that people
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: need to go recover, got to go chase, gotta go harvest.
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: This is also why the upcoming Supreme Court's decision, and
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: it should be handed down any day now, is so important.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: Does election day mean the word day when the Constitution
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: says day. If if the word day means the word day,
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: then none of this stuff should be happening. The counting
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: should be done at the end of the day. And
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: if Florida can do their entire state in just like
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: three hours, why can't California count the votes from just
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: La County in a week? Ask yourself that Kevin McCullough
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: story still developing. We'll see you next day.
