- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey, I just found the news and I know him
- 0:09Speaker 2: a little bit late, but our IRV Gott he passed
- 0:13Speaker 2: and I just wanted to send out condolencens to his family.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I didn't know him well, we weren't close to anything.
- 0:20Speaker 2: The last memory I had IRV Gotti, we were standing
- 0:23Speaker 2: together on the crap table in the Bahamas and me
- 0:27Speaker 2: and this dude man just had a good time. Man.
- 0:29Speaker 2: That's the only memory. I've talked with him several times
- 0:32Speaker 2: before that, backstage, but that was my only memory. But man,
- 0:36Speaker 2: just a really really cool guy that I found. And
- 0:39Speaker 2: I just wanted to send condolencens out to his family
- 0:42Speaker 2: and friends. That's gonna miss him, man, because that brother
- 0:45Speaker 2: was you know, he was a good dude for me.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I don't get into what everybody else know and thinking
- 0:51Speaker 2: all like that. I just want to say condolences to
- 0:53Speaker 2: the family, so IRV Gotti Man, good brother. Also. In closing,
- 1:00Speaker 2: you know I want to do I just want to
- 1:02Speaker 2: encourage everybody. You know what I want to say, folks,
- 1:06Speaker 2: you can do it. You can do it. You can
- 1:09Speaker 2: make it. You gonna be alright. You have just got
- 1:13Speaker 2: to understand that whatever it is you're going through, it's temporary.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Always remember this. You know, I was watching this thing
- 1:19Speaker 2: on television one time and they had a bunch of
- 1:20Speaker 2: old actors sitting around the Niro al Pacinos, this group
- 1:25Speaker 2: of guys, I think Jamie Fox was in the room
- 1:29Speaker 2: and something. But Tom Hank said something, and the question was,
- 1:33Speaker 2: if you could tell your younger self something, what would
- 1:35Speaker 2: you tell him? And Tom Hank said, I would tell
- 1:39Speaker 2: my younger self that this too show pass, because man,
- 1:45Speaker 2: And I said, wow, that really hit me because when
- 1:48Speaker 2: I go back over my life and I think about
- 1:51Speaker 2: all of the situations I faced and how I felt
- 1:55Speaker 2: while facing them, and the pressure and the anxiety that
- 1:59Speaker 2: I went through while going through it. If I would
- 2:02Speaker 2: have just told myself this too shall pass, I could
- 2:08Speaker 2: have handled it a little bit better. But you know
- 2:10Speaker 2: what happens to us, man. We get in these situations,
- 2:13Speaker 2: and we find ourselves in these circumstances, and we just
- 2:18Speaker 2: thinks we're the only one, and we just think it
- 2:21Speaker 2: will never end, and we just go, oh, woe is me,
- 2:25Speaker 2: and we bury ourselves with why could this How could
- 2:28Speaker 2: this happen? Why did it happen? Why me? How come? Who?
- 2:32Speaker 2: I wish I never had a We start overthinking this thing.
- 2:37Speaker 2: If I would have only known that this too shall pass,
- 2:42Speaker 2: because it always does, y'all. Now, I will admit there
- 2:46Speaker 2: are times we are in some situations and we think
- 2:49Speaker 2: it's lasting way longer than it should. I'm in one
- 2:52Speaker 2: right now, and I'm convinced it has lasted way longer
- 2:57Speaker 2: than it should. But you know what, this too shall pass.
- 3:02Speaker 2: You're going to be okay, You're going to be all right.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Stop beating yourself up because you're going through something, because
- 3:10Speaker 2: I got news for you. Everybody go through something. Everybody
- 3:14Speaker 2: go through something. But stop allowing your pass and your
- 3:18Speaker 2: current situation to determine your future because you don't know
- 3:22Speaker 2: how this is gonna paying out. Most of the stuff
- 3:25Speaker 2: that you know. You suffer from anxiety from two things.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Number one, you're worrying about something you have no control over.
- 3:33Speaker 2: And then number two, it's either something that's happened in
- 3:36Speaker 2: your past or something in your future. That's what anxiety is,
- 3:41Speaker 2: and you have no control over either one. As hard
- 3:44Speaker 2: as it is, get yourself to understanding that God is
- 3:49Speaker 2: working on your behalf that no matter how dismal it
- 3:53Speaker 2: looks for you right now, it will be over. Some days.
- 3:57Speaker 2: This tool shall pass, o man, oh man, it does, y'all.
- 4:02Speaker 2: It does. And sometimes it passes and it's over, and
- 4:06Speaker 2: you don't even realize it's over, because you know what,
- 4:09Speaker 2: you burying yourself with the next thing that then came up,
- 4:13Speaker 2: and you don't even realize, you know what, this new
- 4:15Speaker 2: thing that I'm dealing with, that old thing is gone,
- 4:20Speaker 2: and you didn't even take the time to thank God
- 4:22Speaker 2: forgetting you through that. And when you don't have gratitude,
- 4:28Speaker 2: gratitude produces amnesia. I found. You know, if you don't,
- 4:34Speaker 2: if you don't start being grateful, if you don't constantly
- 4:38Speaker 2: make a constant list of things God has done for you,
- 4:41Speaker 2: things you've overcome, things you've gotten passed. If you don't
- 4:45Speaker 2: make a constant list of that, folks, you develop amnesia
- 4:49Speaker 2: and you'll forget just how good God has been to you.
- 4:54Speaker 2: You will start to diminish all of the wonderful things
- 4:58Speaker 2: you've accomplished. You know. Every now and then, man, I
- 5:01Speaker 2: got to really look at my life and I got
- 5:03Speaker 2: to really go my God, what you've done for me
- 5:08Speaker 2: I could not have done for myself. You've done then
- 5:11Speaker 2: and thinking for me. You've put me in positions I
- 5:13Speaker 2: never ever even dreamed of being in. And it's all relative, y'all,
- 5:19Speaker 2: And I'm sure you can do the same thing. Don't
- 5:22Speaker 2: wait till you rich to be grateful, because I'm gonna
- 5:25Speaker 2: tell you right now the things I'm most grateful too,
- 5:28Speaker 2: was long before fame and money. Man. I had two
- 5:31Speaker 2: loving parents, I started having children. I was in shape,
- 5:37Speaker 2: I could run, man, Man, I had a lot of
- 5:41Speaker 2: stuff I had, So y'all listen to me. Just remember
- 5:45Speaker 2: this too shall pass. You gonna be fine. It's gonna
- 5:48Speaker 2: be a okay. You just got to get with the
- 5:51Speaker 2: business of believing God is in the blessing business. Those
- 5:55Speaker 2: of my clothes remarks. I have a good one today, y'all.
