- 0:23H hey man, Welcome to episode one seventy four of Because Fuck You
- 0:44That's Why. I am your host, Pancil Sarhen And if you can't tell
- 0:50by the timber of my voice, this is gonna be a bit of a
- 0:53chill show. Uh, not necessarily because we needed it. Uh. We
- 1:00did just put out our first new game show in a while, and surprisingly
- 1:03most everything worked. There's a couple of things to fix up, but aside
- 1:07from that, still pretty pleased with it. Yeah, everything everything worked.
- 1:12Um, but unfortunately for our brain and everything worked except the contestants, which
- 1:19isn't really fair to rust or uncause they were spectacular. They were amazing.
- 1:23Oh no, they were great. Ye like, but yeah, just I
- 1:27can't believe myself. You got a couple of questions right, you were doing
- 1:33fine? Yeah, so, um, in fact, you were the only
- 1:37person to get a question right in the final round out of the two of
- 1:42us. Yes, out of the three remaining players, he was the only
- 1:45one who got a single question right. I didn't make it to that final
- 1:48round, I kin. Yeah, it's it's all in good fun now.
- 1:53It was great. That was an amazing show and those guys are always fun
- 1:56to have. Yeah, I really do love our odd Pods partners. There
- 2:00between having put forth this big new effort and the fact that we didn't have
- 2:05guests line up for this particular week, and also we are going to be
- 2:08guesting on a crunchy stream when we're done with this, yeah, which is
- 2:12super exciting. So we didn't want to figure it that was a lot,
- 2:15yeah, and we didn't want to overload each other with with a lot for
- 2:17this, so we figured another show show might be in order. I'm your
- 2:22host, Pancel Sharon and with me as always are these weirdos. Say hello
- 2:25to the wonderful Stevie. Yo, how y'all doing? How to wake up
- 2:38the band? Yeah? Right like that? Oh shit, the time to
- 2:43shit, that's not as way more And haven't say any of us right now.
- 2:46Yeah, we're all just kind of like we're just like, yeah,
- 2:49like I'm about vibe man, I'm feeling good. Yeah, I feel amazing,
- 2:52I feel I feel absolutely great. Hell yeah, shit, how you
- 2:55been I'm good man, I'm good. How are you I'm doing good man?
- 3:00Recovering from the surgery very well. No, longer. Really. Yeah,
- 3:04it's beautiful. Walking pretty good. I can't run or anything. They
- 3:07took a good chunk of stuff out. Apparently there was four surgeries done,
- 3:10so yeah, I didn't realize that because I was out, Thank God.
- 3:14Um, but no, it's nice. I'm I'm able to actually walk without
- 3:17pain, which is really cool. Hell yeah. The downside is I cannot
- 3:22sleep without pain. Every night. Since I've been in pain in my knee,
- 3:25it sucks. I've been not really sleeping well. Wow, so that
- 3:29part kind of blows, and I'm wondering maybe I'm just doing too much throughout
- 3:31the day either that, or maybe you have to keep walking at night.
- 3:35You should take up sleep walking. I used to do that, man,
- 3:38and it doesn't hurt when you walk. And ever since I stopped, I
- 3:40have been getting a little gut and my butt's been, you know, popping
- 3:43out a little again. That jelly buddy, it's crazy. Um, but
- 3:46yeah, did you say jelly buddy? Jelly? But I meant to say
- 3:51jelly, But I did say buddy. I wasnt gonna cut that and fix
- 3:53it. Thanks jelly belly, No jelly, but not jelly, but these
- 4:00jelly belly. I want a jelly butt. All right, he's allowed to
- 4:05make it a thing. If it's not a thing, it's a thing.
- 4:09Hashtag jelly but yeah, let's do this. Let's push for Stevie's jelly but
- 4:16I'll do it all right. Let's let's just just hashtag everything, even if
- 4:23it is nothing to do with jelly or but whatever. What the s called
- 4:28trending. I think Bruce McGill is great. Hashtag jelly But wait a minute,
- 4:33Bruce mcgills like, what the fuck? So when do I have a
- 4:38jelly butt? I guess, I guess I do. Uh and uh.
- 4:46The other half of the dream team, he's a gammer and a storyteller,
- 4:48and he's no longer my youngest friend. It's Aggie. He's a BT Dubs
- 5:16Mexican. This. We do have the shortened version of it, and we
- 5:21like it. We just didn't. We failed to put it on this I
- 5:25just forgot to put it on this time before the episode. That's okay,
- 5:29we'll give that one. It's last final horror. Yeah, please enjoy the
- 5:32final long version of Uggies. Yeah, we've got the shorter version on the
- 5:38way. Um so Auggie same. I didn't ask a question this time because
- 5:43god, and what have you been up to? What are you doing lately?
- 5:46Oh god, that's a question. It is a question, Fuck you,
- 5:49it's Nina question, expecting I've been working. There's another ninja question.
- 5:56What colors are the flags behind you? Without looking? Oh no, oh
- 6:00my god, there's there's four flags behind us. There's one that's white and
- 6:08one that's black. Like, I'll play right. Is it a pilate flag?
- 6:15I'm sorry. I would have accepted white and red or black and white.
- 6:17You didn't get me either of those. So also, there's the four
- 6:21flags behind us. Yeah, technically there are rainbow color flags. We had
- 6:26the Pride flag. And I just wanted to ambush you with another question because
- 6:29the first one put you in so much stress. I'm like, let's push
- 6:30him over the edge. Thank you. I'm trying to drive you insane.
- 6:34Is it working, sir? Where have you been? It's too late.
- 6:40He's already a member of this sea. I'm in the penthouse, motherfucker.
- 6:47And last, but certainly not least, it is me, your humble host,
- 6:53pantsless Aaron White teams you. He'll trick some stars for a laughter too.
- 7:10It's just perfect. Do you know what, man? I gotta get
- 7:13Now, I'm gonna get track lighting so when yours goes off, I can
- 7:15do the flashing lights like the actual game show going to go off in the
- 7:18yard lights You're gonna start like everybody chuckle and shy it's their own light.
- 7:25Yeah, d fuck okay, yeah, yeah, I got something to plan
- 7:28for next year. That's next year's project. Yea new lighting all right and
- 7:31ask for me. Um So, everybody knows that I like to tinker with
- 7:35tech, right, especially when it comes to like retro gaming and so yeah,
- 7:39amongst other things you tinker with. Yeah, so, uh was that
- 7:43sexual? It depends who's listening. Aaron, you glorious fuck of a man.
- 7:49Thank you. Um So, I completely lost my train of thought.
- 7:57Now it's gone. That's what you get from the two questions. You're well
- 8:03done, sir. Yea god damn it book. So the fuck it,
- 8:13I'm gone now it's completely out of my brain. The contact highest. I
- 8:18like to tink what I do, and I've been so broke lately because I've
- 8:22been putting everything into like publishing and uh marketing my book. Yeah, I
- 8:31have spent five hundred dollars on my trailer alone. To give you any idea.
- 8:35Wow, two hundred and fifty of that is for a single five second
- 8:41shot animation. Yes, yeah, yeah, I mean so yeah, this
- 8:48stuff is fucking pricing. Yeah, and I have been too broke to take
- 8:52up my usual. Well let's see what I can, you know, build
- 8:56out of an old PC. Let's see what I can build out of this
- 8:58crappy thing from Elie Express, you know whatever. M but I actually have
- 9:03been buying stuff. It's just like on the cheaper end, you know.
- 9:07So, um, like two months ago, I was in the mood to
- 9:13try a new handheld. Um, so I ordered the Retroid Pocket Flip.
- 9:20What's that one? So it's a little uh, it's a little handheld gaming
- 9:24machine but uh it's it's like a DS and that the screen is in top
- 9:28that you flip up. Okay, cool, all the controls around the bottom
- 9:31but yeah, all the controls around the bottom part screens on the top.
- 9:35Um. And this thing actually for the price, it's only like two hundred
- 9:39dollars after all of a sudden done, I think it's one fifty to go.
- 9:43But I've also got a case and like the the handheld rubberized grip for
- 9:46it. Well, yeah, I mean if you're gonna get it, and
- 9:48this is only the place you're gonna get it from, anyway, you must
- 9:50get it, Yeah, you might as well. Might as well do it
- 9:52all at once. So wound up going from one fifty to two hundred or
- 9:56so. Okay, and that's after taxes and shipping, um. And that
- 10:00was two months ago. Roughly one month ago. I was like, you
- 10:05know what I should play with? I should try because I'm so broke.
- 10:09I'm just gonna go for like the bottom of the barrel, Like, what's
- 10:11the absolute cheapest thing that I can get that is super popular right now?
- 10:16So I basically went on Alley Express and I sorted by most sales under video
- 10:22game consoles h and I bought the cheapest one out of the top ten,
- 10:28which was a twenty four dollar little Hdmi stick that you plug into your TV
- 10:37and it comes with a little USB dongle u two crappy Bluetooth controllers. Uh
- 10:45and uh and uh. You know that didn't even come in a box.
- 10:48Came in a bag. Yes, yes, shit, and I am.
- 10:52I'm getting to the point of the story, but I'm going to move forward
- 10:56from here because on somewhere between then and fourth I went, you know what,
- 11:01I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna need more money. I have all these computers
- 11:03literally lying around my house, right, I'm like, and nobody's using them.
- 11:09They're just sitting there. They might as well go to good home.
- 11:13So I'm like, I should just sell this shit. So I went on
- 11:15Facebook and I made a post. I'm like, I've got these five computers.
- 11:18If you want them, you know, just make me a good price.
- 11:22I put up like a price that was like at least like a hundred
- 11:26dollars under what I would charge on eBay to to fit in with the crowd
- 11:31of people selling similar things on eBay. UM. So I basically looked at
- 11:35what these things would go for, charge them under one hundred dollars last,
- 11:39just try and get them outdoor. Um. And I got a bunch of
- 11:41buyers. Didn't sell everything, but I sold the three the computers, including
- 11:46the Mini Beast that I was talking about last time we did a chill show
- 11:50and I got to talk about tech. Um, so that's going to a
- 11:52good home. Yea. Yeah. And I made a bunch of money really
- 11:58quick, and I was like, all right, that's cool, but I
- 12:01know there are better Mini PCs out there than the Mini Beast. And I
- 12:05know this because one came out almost as soon as i'd bought it, and
- 12:09I was so mad that I was like, oh, son of a bitch,
- 12:11if i'd waited a week, So you know, part of it was
- 12:16definitely like kind of a little bit of buyer's remorse, like I could have
- 12:18just bought this one if I just waited, But I had no idea it
- 12:22was going to come out. That's the thing, and that's what sucks.
- 12:24It happens to everybody if I would have just waited. Nobody fucking knows that.
- 12:30Nobody does. You can't beat yourself up for day ship man. So
- 12:33anyway, long story short, I bought the top of the line, at
- 12:41least I think there actually is one that's higher. But I'm like that one's
- 12:46insane. That's like twelve hundred bucks. I'm like, that's too much.
- 12:50The MINIPC that I could the best Mini PC I could get for what I
- 12:54considered a reasonable price, which was seven hundred and fifty dollars. Uh.
- 13:01Yeah, it is. It is a It is a Mini PC. It
- 13:05has a nine twelve nine Uh, it has a thirty fifty TI graphics chip
- 13:16with eight gigs of v rams um and the rest of it was bare bones.
- 13:24Uh no, not slower, not slow, okay, uh it was
- 13:33bare bones, which meant I got to choose how much RAM and stuff it
- 13:39had. And I was surprised to learn that you can get thirty two gigs
- 13:45of DDR four RAM for fifty bucks. Shit. Uh yeah, uh yeah,
- 13:52RAM and uh SSD prices have been falling like crazy, to the point
- 13:58where I bought a two terabyte SSD for this thing. Mind you, this
- 14:03thing had two NVMe SSD slot. That's nice. You don't worry about mechanicals.
- 14:09But I got a two terabyte SSD for this thing for fifty bucks.
- 14:13Oh sorry, it was forty five. It was Intel branded, it's not
- 14:18it's not like the newest ship. But Intel's not gonna screw this stuff up.
- 14:22No, I mean it's gonna work. It's gonna store your ship.
- 14:24You're fine, Yeah, I'm gonna work. Yeah. And I got and
- 14:31because it has a PCIe three point zero NVM slot and a PCIe four point
- 14:35zero and VME slot, I also got a two terabyte and VME four point
- 14:43zero, which is blistering fast. Yes, that that is the main hard
- 14:48drive for Windows. Right, yes, and then on top of that,
- 14:52the device still supports one two point five inch hard drive? Are you serious?
- 14:58And I had a two terabyt thing line around, So this mini PC
- 15:03has six terabytes of storage in it. So let me ask you something.
- 15:09Yes, is this now your primary PC? No? I want to build
- 15:15some shit? Yeah? I did want to. I did just want to
- 15:18build some shit. I'm starting to think I enjoyed the active building pecs more
- 15:22than I do actually gaming on them. I do enjoy testing games out and
- 15:26playing them, but I've hardly ever played anything to completion. Right, Um,
- 15:30well, what have you thought about just doing this as your career?
- 15:33Just building? It's it's not a workable career, not really, just costwise.
- 15:37Yeah, unless I start like an actual company and start selling like nationwide,
- 15:43then maybe, because then you get like the wholesale prices and yeah,
- 15:46yeah, and other things along that nature. But I am no good at
- 15:50business e shit, and I've I've asked it's It's not a job in it
- 15:54to just build computers all day. I wish it work. I wish to
- 16:00got it where I have so much fun taking these things apart, putting it
- 16:03back together and go and going, oh my god, it works, it's
- 16:06amazing. Six terabites. What the fuck? You know what? You should
- 16:10look into those actually look into those gaming sites that build the computers, like
- 16:15you could work for the site that way you are just yeah, maybe so,
- 16:18um, it'd be kind of cool. So if you get in,
- 16:21let me know. I told the story and the kind of haphazard jumping forward
- 16:25in time way that I did. Yeah, because despite ordering these things like
- 16:27two months, one month, like one week apart, they all arrived on
- 16:32virtually the same day, all three of them. So the Retroid pocket flip
- 16:37showed up yesterday, the the the HDMI GameStick light for twenty four dollars showed
- 16:45up the day before, uh and uh, and the the the the mini
- 16:51PC showed up a last weekend. Awesome. Um, So it's just been
- 16:56chaos, like I have too much to play with and I don't know what
- 17:00to do. I need more hands. Never mind, I was gonna say
- 17:04I can go written more detail, but I think we've been talking long enough
- 17:07to take a short break. Should we do that? Yeah? All right,
- 17:11So we'll be back for a part two and I'll explain in further detail
- 17:15about these delightful machines Right after this. Hi, I'm Tina how Tomeo and
- 17:29I'm Hilary Dougherty and we host The Muck Podcast where we discussed the dark and
- 17:33sometimes we are true stories in American politics. E Tina, did you know
- 17:37that Elvis crashed the Nixon White House for the sole purpose of getting a DA
- 17:41badge and it worked? Or how a gun control advocate senator out of California
- 17:48engaged in gun trafficking with Nottoria's gang leader, shrimp Boy Boy. I remember
- 17:53him, Okay, So you know. We cover all of that and more
- 17:56from Malady's madness, mischief and murder in US politics, and we also host
- 18:00a bi weekly interview segment called Little Muck. We interview politicians, journalists,
- 18:06activists, and others who share their experiences in politics. Find The Muck Podcast
- 18:10wherever you listen to podcasts, and check us out on social media at the
- 18:14Muck Podcast. Amen, welcome back. It's time for part two of our
- 18:30Chill Show. Ordinarily this is where we would have voicemails, but nobody left
- 18:34any do you guys don't love us anywhere? It's kind of sad, wow,
- 18:37Like we're just sitting here lonely sitting at the table where we're sending all
- 18:41our love out to you, and we're just getting with the exception of our
- 18:48patrons. Patrons are giving all their love episode that's exactly right. Listen,
- 18:56our patrons don't have to give voicemails. They don't. I don't expect it.
- 19:00If they do, great, We love you and we love hearing from
- 19:02you. But you're already giving enough. We don't don't we don't need more
- 19:06from you. But if you're not a patron, what the fuck? Seriously,
- 19:11this is free. Seriously, this is absolutely free. At least you
- 19:15could do is take like twenty seconds of your time. Go to our website
- 19:18bfywpod dot com, go to the contact us section, click on the voicemail
- 19:22link and leave us a like a ten second voicemail. Just be like,
- 19:27hey, guys, love you, show thanks for everything, Peace out,
- 19:32done, done, that's that's that's that's beautiful. You can even go,
- 19:36hey, guys, leave me a voicemail because you won't stop bitching about not
- 19:38getting voicemails, you stupid motherfuckers. So here's your goddamn voicemail. I hope
- 19:42you enjoy your pieces hit Goodbye. And listen. That is acceptable because,
- 19:48as you can hear, we would laugh our asses off of that ship.
- 19:52Yes, so absolutely you are allowed and welcomed to do so. No,
- 20:00don't feel pressured that you have to um, but we can always a question.
- 20:03You always appreciate when you do. I think I think that our fans
- 20:07have had enough to questions for a little while. Let's ease off on that
- 20:12and hold off till the next time we have a boor's leg they what the
- 20:21absolute um? Okay, Well, anyway, so back to my story.
- 20:26So I have these three devices and I've played with them all too more or
- 20:30less of a degree. I'll start with the one. No, I'll start
- 20:36with the one that i've that I've used the lease and actually just got yesterday.
- 20:41I just got the Retroid Pocket flip Um, which is really cool.
- 20:47It feels really good in the hands, like it's a good solid build.
- 20:48I got the Indigo one, so it kind of looks like the same colors
- 20:52that that Nintendo GameCube when it first came out. Uh, and I just
- 20:57really like the look of it. Cool, and it's got white buttons and
- 21:02dpad and you know, all the buttons are white sticking out it so it
- 21:03looks good, really good. This thing has it has I can't remember the
- 21:10exact model of the chip, but it's a it's a stronger mobile chip to
- 21:14the point where it can actually play some PS two in GameCube games. Really
- 21:18yeah, so this thing is pretty mean. The problem that I'm currently having
- 21:22with it is I'm still in the kind of install and setup phase with this
- 21:26device, in that I'm trying to get files over to it. But it's
- 21:30an Android device that doesn't have a camera, so a lot of the tools
- 21:34that I would use to move tools over to, even things like hooking it
- 21:40up via USB, I'm having a weird issue where it's just constantly connecting and
- 21:44disconnecting, and I think it's causing an issue with the USB port in particular.
- 21:48Question for you, you might go, can you hook up a USB
- 21:52camera to it like a webcam? Because I also have the readers. I
- 21:55don't know. I don't know. I could try it, except I don't
- 22:00think I have a camera that has a USBC, which it would need to
- 22:04do one of those mods. I don't have an adapted damn dongle, No
- 22:11dingle, your dongle, damn it, So what the fuck that's an extremely
- 22:22old callback. Yeah, so good fun. So anyway, Yeah, I
- 22:30really like to look in the feel of it. I haven't really played with
- 22:32it all that much, Like, like I said, I'm still trying to
- 22:33get runs over to it and whatnot. But I have good feelings about it.
- 22:37It's gonna be pretty solid. It's like a mid tier thing. It's
- 22:40gonna be much more easily pocketable and transportable than the Steam Deck. That's nice,
- 22:45Like, like I love the steam Deck, but it is a big
- 22:48boy. Yeah, it's a big boy with us, right, yeah yeah,
- 22:52yeah, and I yeah, but I only ever used it in the
- 22:56hotel room because bringing that thing around in public is ridiculous. Yeah, Like
- 23:00it's just too huge, and it's it's just not it's not It's not as
- 23:07portable as I would like. You know, when when you think like portable
- 23:11handheld, you're like something I can carry in my hands, take it with
- 23:15me and put and keep my shirt pocket, take it to the bathroom,
- 23:18whatever, you know. But them will not fit in anybody's pocket. Just
- 23:23won't unless you're like the Jolly Green Giant or the Big Show or something,
- 23:26right, and you just got massive pockets. Actually, the Gameboy Color was
- 23:30way better for carrying around. It could fit in your pocket, no problem.
- 23:34I don't know my problem with the Game Boy Advances there was square yeah,
- 23:38well at least the flip top one was square top one. But that
- 23:42was the better one to have all things considered to have backlight on it anyway,
- 23:48So I haven't played too much with that. However, I have put
- 23:49a good amount of time into the GameStick Light, which was twenty four dollars
- 23:55and came in a bag. Didn't even come in a box. The cheapest
- 24:02bullshit ever. It had two like extremely fragrant controllers, like you can see
- 24:08the fucking chemicals plastic and my holy shit, yeah yeah they would definitely like
- 24:19the bag might corrosive materials, cancers, materials. Yeah, I have no
- 24:27idea, but but surprisingly, like the controllers had solid like rubber buttons for
- 24:34the pressing and so the actual feel the controller is not that bad. Um
- 24:41and I set it up, got everything set up. It came with like
- 24:44a sixty four gigabyte SD card already filled full games. Uh, and then
- 24:49I plugged it in using an extender because the thing was like this fat and
- 24:55would not like my my TV has like h M, hm h all really
- 25:00close together, can't fit one of these chunky boys in between. So I
- 25:03was like, all right, well, thankfully they include an HDMI extender for
- 25:07just such a case. So yeah, that's smart. And I can't believe
- 25:14it came in a package for twenty four bucks. But uh so I actually
- 25:17stander plugged it in, plugged the USB stick in to power it to the
- 25:21TV, which is good because I have USB port on my TV that does
- 25:23nothing. So I'm like, all right, yeah, just just leave it
- 25:26here and leave it powered all the time. Uh, that will never go
- 25:30wrong. Um and uh and UH got some triple A batteries and tossed them
- 25:37into the chief ass controllers. Uh, turned the controller on and plugged everything
- 25:41in and went to HTMI one and fucking hell it worked. Um. It's
- 25:45like a it's like a really colorful menu, and it's got the list of
- 25:48the games, and it starts with like there's ten games per page. There's
- 25:52one thousand, forty nine pages. So there's ten thousand, four hundred ninety
- 25:57games on this thing, every version of every type of game. And yeah,
- 26:00and here's the absolute best part. They've all been horribly mistranslated. Oh
- 26:07yeah, So the menu actually does have a search function, but good fucking
- 26:14luck using it, honest to god, because Streets of Rage is called bad
- 26:21Man Punch bad Dude. Oh my god, that's amazing, you know.
- 26:26So that just but and here's like you would scroll down and see all sorts
- 26:33of weird ass shit like I scrolled down, got to oh like Sonic the
- 26:36Hedgehog too, scroll down to it. It's highlighted. The screenshot is from
- 26:41Streets of Age two. I'm like, what what the fuck? Uh?
- 26:45So, you know, there's all sorts of weirdness and wonkiness attached to this.
- 26:49So I'm like, the gameplay can't be that good. It just literally
- 26:53can't. And I started by booting up an arcade game, Street Fighter Alpha
- 26:57three. Okay, worked great. Oh shit, actually was played perfectly smoothly.
- 27:03Um, it was a little stretched, but then street Fire off the
- 27:06three is a little wider than usual. Um four by three eight ratio.
- 27:11I think I'm not sure, um, but the controls were not awful,
- 27:17Like it was hard to pull off like a fireball with the dpad, but
- 27:19I could do it perfectly fine with the analog stick. Really, yeah,
- 27:22everything when I played with the analog stick it was smooth, It was perfect.
- 27:26It was absolutely perfect. The buttons were responsive, granted they were they
- 27:30were like configured really weirdly, like it was just like the low and medium
- 27:37kick for the face buttons, which has never been my favorite arrangement. I
- 27:41always like to have one of the hard buttons on the front so I can
- 27:44have those at my back and call whenever. Um. But there's a menu
- 27:48that allows you to configure those. You can even save in load game states,
- 27:52really like you can actually save. Yeah, this this thing is shockingly
- 27:59decent for the twenty four dollars I paid for it. Um and most of
- 28:03the other systems turned out the same way. I played through Contra. I
- 28:06had no problems like ducking or aiming in a diagonal with the dpad, even
- 28:11though I had trouble with it playing fighting games. It was fine for Contra,
- 28:15which is so I don't I genuinely don't know um in any in any
- 28:21of it. I expected it to be horrible after the fighting game debacle,
- 28:23but it was fine. UM. So I played that. I played,
- 28:26Say, Genesis, Gameboy, game Boy Color games all worked great. Atari
- 28:30twenty six hundred UM. The only one that is a serious problem is Super
- 28:36Nintendo. Um, well, no, there's there's another one, but I'll
- 28:40there's another two, but I'll get to that. The Super Nintendo has a
- 28:42problem that the games play fine, but for some reason, the bottom button,
- 28:48the B button, it's not configured at all and you can't reconfigure it,
- 28:52so you are stuck to using like the top three buttons and like the
- 28:56L one L t R two. But there are some games that you can't
- 29:03you can't configure, like for example, Super Mario World will always use that
- 29:08button as jump. I mean, you could probably get through using the spin
- 29:11jump on button he instead, maybe, But like if the game doesn't have
- 29:17a way for you to configure it so that the bottom button doesn't do something
- 29:19important, you might be in trouble. I was able to play Super Metroid
- 29:25by configuring jump to do the top button and shoot to be left and then
- 29:29dashed to be the right button, which was a little weird and took a
- 29:33little getting used to, but I could play it at least, so it's
- 29:36not perfect by any means. Game Boy Advance also plays, but I can't
- 29:41recommend it. It's jankie and suttery and the sound sounds awful like it's just
- 29:48I don't think this thing is strong enough to handle it. And they also
- 29:52had PlayStation one games on an air. Now here's the funny part is,
- 29:57like Castlemania the Night played fine right up until Richter started talking to Dracula in
- 30:03that cut scene, his speech bubble popped up and his name appeared, and
- 30:07then it froze. I just crashed right there, and I was like,
- 30:11oh, that's not a good sign. Now here's the thing is this thing
- 30:18might be hackable. Yeah, because I found on a Russian forum there is
- 30:27a firmware that can be used to upgrade the device so it can play more
- 30:33systems and it will use retro Arch as a as an operating system sort of
- 30:40thing, kind of like Lacca is on the PC. It's an operating system
- 30:44that just runs retro Arch. But but this is specifically built for this device.
- 30:49And I was like, oh shit, so I'm gonna try hacking it
- 30:52and see if I can give it a little more functionality. But as it
- 30:56is, as it stands, I definitely would think you could get twenty four
- 31:00dollars worth of enjoyment out of this thing, right, Like it is shockingly
- 31:03okay for the price. Like if if this. Were this were forty fifty
- 31:08bucks, I'd be a little pissed. I'd be a little pissed. But
- 31:14the fact that this is twenty five bucks and it works, like most of
- 31:18it just works, and it has a lot of functions and features that you
- 31:22know, you would buy other devices that cost this much and not get,
- 31:26you know, But I guess there's a reason why this is among the top
- 31:29selling because it's actually got some good stuff in it. So yeah, that
- 31:33was the biggest surprise. And then of course my Mini PC. I've just
- 31:37spent like the past week filling six terabytes of games. I've barely I've barely
- 31:42tested it just because I've spent so much time in selling shit right, Like
- 31:48it has so many Like I played one game to just to test out,
- 31:51just to see No, that was a Spider Man remask. Oh yeah,
- 31:56you were working on that while we were playing this. Yeah, I was
- 32:00installing it while I was playing them, because installing takes fucking forever. But
- 32:07I have successfully filled almost all six arbytes the Machinea Ship, and I expect
- 32:14to spend most of the end of today and Sunday just kind of going through
- 32:19the Mini PC and seeing how performances. After playing Spider Man, I have
- 32:22no doubts whatsoever. It's going to perform like a fucking dream. I mean
- 32:27an I nine twelfth gen. It's not that old at all. It's a
- 32:30couple of years at best, and it's up to five gig hurts and speed
- 32:35is super powerful with thirty two gigs of RAM to back it up and a
- 32:38thirty fifty I mean it's a thirty fifty, but it is a thirty fifty
- 32:43TI and it has the extra four gigs of VRAM on top. Right,
- 32:46it's pretty much running a double video. It's it's gonna handle. It's gonna
- 32:51handle what I wanted to handle, Like I expect this thing to run cyberpunk
- 32:54at high details. Nice. Um, So I complayed it, I'm excited
- 33:00to try it. Yeah, cyberbunk anything is beautiful game. Oh absolutely,
- 33:06yeah, definitely. So it's so it's so easy one, It's so easy
- 33:09to get lost in and just wander around and look at shit. Yeah,
- 33:15it's the reason why I keep coming back to it, even though I don't
- 33:16really do much beyond like a certain time. Every time I see him streaming,
- 33:21he's starting a new character. Help myself I'm never satisfied with how the
- 33:25character is. Once you got it, you got it. Yeah. So
- 33:30you said you didn't have much. I talked about it. I didn't have
- 33:34a whole lot, just because I've been working mostly. Yeah. Um,
- 33:37but I do have something that is we're both work related and new and interesting.
- 33:44I had ordered an electric bike, oh yeah, to help me get
- 33:47to and from work because work wasn't that far from my house, so I
- 33:51don't need to I don't need a full fledged vehicle for that. Um and
- 33:57God willing. It's supposed to show oh today, Yeah, we've been waiting.
- 34:05It's like it's coming FedEx so it could show up like eight o'clock at
- 34:09nion. Yeah. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it because one, it'll
- 34:16give me a little bit more mobility, um, amen. But also it
- 34:22I was dreading the day that I'd have to walk into work, just like
- 34:25an absolute emergency, Like there's no way of getting to work any other way,
- 34:30but to walk into work. It's not going down the hill coming back
- 34:36up at the end of the day. So getting an electric pike will give
- 34:39me that a little electric to get back up that hill. Yeah, the
- 34:43steep ass hill that we live on Yeah, the company, high boy,
- 34:49high boy. Yeah, the things freaking mean, like you remember the specs
- 34:53on it all? No, No, all I know is that it's got
- 34:58like thirty miles to a bad hurry, right, thirty to forty miles on
- 35:02a single charge, which is freaking more than what he needs. But I
- 35:07mean he could easily get into either town. No, I can get into
- 35:10town and back. Yeah, I mean either one is what I'm saying.
- 35:13Like each everyone you wanted to get to, you can pretty much get there
- 35:15and back without a problem. Yeah. And the thing it's pretty heavy duty.
- 35:19It's got like the big fat tires on it, so you can write
- 35:21it through all the terrain like it it said everything like obviously street, grass,
- 35:25mud, sand, snow like all of it. It's like, okay,
- 35:29that's fucking cool. And the frames like just s thirty. I think
- 35:31it's like an eighty pound bike or some shit. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 35:37it's it's a little bit lighter than me. So it's like one hundred and
- 35:42ten. No that was the other one. Yeah, the other one was
- 35:45heavy, Yeah, something like that. But the thing is freaking beefy,
- 35:49and you can obviously have attachments and stuff, and I think that one.
- 35:52Just you just plug into a wall outlet like six hours it's charged. But
- 35:59it's gonna be cool. He's been like excited and just waiting for Yeah,
- 36:04it's going to be fun going down the hill. I can't wait. Man,
- 36:08it's gonna be awesome. I remember not to do the electric pedal assist
- 36:14going down the hill. Oh my god. No, just yeah. The
- 36:19hills pretty steep, pretty really the one at the only time I ever get
- 36:24a speeding ticket, got a bike. Holy trap. You could, dude,
- 36:30you better be caref not down there. You'll be fine. I laugh.
- 36:34Though if you went down there she to like sixty, I wouldn't.
- 36:39It'll be wild. All right, Well that's all you got high? All
- 36:47you talk about how high you got Today the fucking air riser kicked my ass.
- 36:53So normally our pre pre show is we get our air Riser EXQ two,
- 37:00you all set up, heat it up with some homegrown herb, and
- 37:02we got it set up. We got a new bag, so we filled
- 37:06up the bag before Aaron got here today, and we walked outside hit the
- 37:08bag a couple of times each and Aggie like, we're looking at our plants
- 37:14that we planted in front of the BFI studio, like, man, man,
- 37:16those these are pretty big, and we're sitting there for a couple minutes,
- 37:19and as we realized how high we were, like we hit this thing
- 37:22like just we finished the one bag, which I don't know we did two
- 37:24bags. We did two bags, but we were so high man, I
- 37:28felt like I was like just chilling, like I've been chilled like this level
- 37:31for a long ass time. But Aggie, I don't know, man,
- 37:35you seem really fucking out of it because you were just like, dude,
- 37:38are you as high as me? Or some ship like that? And I'm
- 37:42like, what do you mean. I'm like, I'm feeling and I'm pretty
- 37:44high, man. I feel really good right now. I'm not feeling pain.
- 37:45He's like really fucking high man. And I was like, okay,
- 37:50he's like the arraizer kicks the shit out of me or something like that.
- 37:52And I'm like, okay, oh mean, that's a I wish we hadn't
- 37:55recorded, because that would have been like the perfect advertiser for advertisement for these
- 38:00guys. I'm like, just play this dude. What he's talking about right?
- 38:01This is how high I am. Now. I don't remember any of
- 38:04that you don't. We just got back in here. We're just talking like,
- 38:07man, are you high still? Yeah, he's high, and you
- 38:09showed up like so pretty fucking baked. This thing's fucking beefy yoh. If
- 38:15you need a fucking herb herb fucking vaporizer, get the air azor, my
- 38:19man, it doesn't like set off smoke detectors. You're not burning all that
- 38:23shit and you get big like a mofo. Yeah. I feel like part
- 38:32of me is like, we should write something better, and part of me
- 38:35is like, no, no, it's not gonna get any better than No,
- 38:37there's fucking stone. This is perfect as stoned as fuck. This ship
- 38:43gets you stoned as fuck. Listen, they knew what they were gonna get
- 38:45into. This is their fault. They sent it to us. They had
- 38:51to have checked us out for us now, but they're just like, ah,
- 38:53sure whatever to send it to these fools. All right, Well,
- 38:58with that unpaid ad out of the way, let's go for Well, I
- 39:02guess technically you were paid because you were given one. As a I would
- 39:07say, all right, it's a's at. It's a message from our about

- 40:24us out everywhere you can find podcasts What Up Man. Welcome back for Part
- 40:40three, where we're just going to chill and hang out and talk to Stevie,
- 40:45whoa We covered what I've been up to, and we covered what Augie's
- 40:50almost been up to. Yeah, I'll hopefully get it today. I can
- 40:53tell us all about it next time. I just don't live a very exciting
- 40:57lad. You don't have to. Yeah, it's all good, dude.
- 41:00The podcast, you can talk about the things that you take interest in.
- 41:04Yeah, that's that's pretty much all I do. Um, So, Stevie,
- 41:09what are the things you have decided to take an interest in these past
- 41:13few weeks? Holy crap, there's been so much. I mean, I
- 41:15know you've been like sort of not hobbled, but repating. Yeah, you've
- 41:22been. You've been resting and relaxing in the wake of your in the wake
- 41:25of your surgery. So how did that go? And like what did you
- 41:30get up to as you were convalescing as it were, Um, it went
- 41:34very very well. Luckily, I had multiple surgeries on my knee and everything
- 41:37worked out very well. I am in way less pain than I have been
- 41:42in the last few years, which is amazing. It's awesome. So I'm
- 41:45recuperating very good. I'm not using a cane to walk as I was previous
- 41:50to the surgery, so I'm feeling pretty good. Very happy. Um,
- 41:53I'm able to actually get things done again and obviously come down here and do
- 41:58the show with you guys again. So that was nice that week I missed.
- 42:00I was really sad I missed, but at the same time I laughed
- 42:04my ass off editing. So thank you guys very much for that. That
- 42:07was pretty the songs like I didn't know she was going to go for it
- 42:15and what you did, I'm like, shit, all that pressure. I
- 42:19had no pressure up until the fact that she did it first. I'm like,
- 42:22no, no, I gotta do it. So if you didn't catch
- 42:24that one, that was the episode of Kyla that Aaron and Augie did when
- 42:29I was unable to get down to the studio that day. But holy crap,
- 42:34go back and listen to it if you did not, because it's amazing.
- 42:36It's definitely one of the funnier things I've heard. I mean, Stevie
- 42:39the Musical, Stevie the Musical. That's literally all I should have to say.
- 42:45You shouldn't go right now and listen to that episode because holy shit,
- 42:51yeah it was. It was great, Like seriously, but other than just
- 42:54wresting up getting ready so I could get back upstairs because the replacement computer finally
- 43:00came in, so I've been downstairs waiting to just open it up and like
- 43:05tear into it. So we got the replacement. Everything is good. We
- 43:07are no longer having a beef. So you guys can lay off of Dell.
- 43:13You can stop sending that messages. It's cool, it's appreciative. But
- 43:15you guys did what you needed to do, and I love you all for
- 43:17it because they caved bitches. Um No, yea, now they we had
- 43:25an agreement and it worked out well. But the new computer is nice.
- 43:28Um. We were able to play at least one game with the other payday
- 43:30once I got it up and you were working on yours. Um. And
- 43:34then since then, I've been installing tons of games. Um, specifically,
- 43:38I know Augie has been playing this game a lot. Battle Bit which is
- 43:45I'm sure this is gonna get in to talk. Yeah, I'm sure this
- 43:47has been going around like everyone's heard about it. Now. This game is
- 43:52like ridiculously good and it's made by three dudes, and it looks like Roadblocks
- 44:00but plays like any Triple A, like like Battlefield shoot, Massive Shooter.
- 44:07Yeah out there. It's it's crazy and it just goes to show you it
- 44:12ain't the fucking graphics. If as long as the gameplay is good, people
- 44:15will like your game. Yeah, and I know we mentioned it last time.
- 44:17The game is a lot of fun. And again, if you can
- 44:21get past the blocky graphics, which I easily could have because of how good
- 44:24the gameplay and the controls were, I didn't. I don't care. And
- 44:29the best part about this game versus where I play Call of Duty or Battlefield
- 44:32or something, I'm not getting mad dying in this game because it's so whatever
- 44:36a roadblocks, guy just gotta shout whatever. Whereas I'm playing Call of Duty,
- 44:38I'll get fucking mad or some shit and somebody who was sniped me from
- 44:42across the map and I couldn't see him or something. This one, I'm
- 44:44like, all right, whatever, it's fine. It's definitely team base,
- 44:47which is cool, and they're updating it constantly. There's new patches almost every
- 44:52week, and anything that you could purchase in the game is only cosmetic.
- 44:57There's no you can purchase like weapons with attachments or anything like. The only
- 45:01thing you can buy are cosmetics. The cool thing about that that Augie found
- 45:05out is after you're done selling those cosmetics. That was not this one.
- 45:09I thought it was. Oh that's the other one. Yeah, my bad.
- 45:13I don't want to say that wrong one. That's the area I want
- 45:15to talk about. After this shoot, I got confused. Um. But
- 45:17battle Bid is still throwing out the updates almost every week. They just had
- 45:21a new patch come out. And the cool thing about that one is you
- 45:24level up or you can unlock your weapons by your rank, but each weapon
- 45:30there's multiple unlocks. Reach weapon that you get for using the weapon, you
- 45:34have to unlock it. Yeah, so it's like, if you want that
- 45:36new scope, you best work on your weapon and get used to it and
- 45:39start working your way down to get that scope. But it's nice because once
- 45:43you actually are able to customize it and you get you seer rifle or whatever,
- 45:46you become almost unstoppable. At one match, ended up with like forty
- 45:50sniper kills because I finally found out how to snipe properly. I'm like,
- 45:53oh my god, I know how to check distance now in this stupid game,
- 45:57and as a range finder, I'm like, all right now, I'm
- 45:59like people, and it's great. Um, if you want to get on
- 46:02battle bit, let us know. It's amazing it's like fifteen bucks on team
- 46:08if you want to support them, and there are other stuff. I think
- 46:12it's another fifteen bucks for their cosmetic package if you cool skins for your guns
- 46:16and stuff, but nothing that boost your character aside from battle. Did you
- 46:22have anything to add on that one. No. The other game that I
- 46:24was getting confused with that we've been playing is on Xbox Game Pass and it
- 46:30is Deep Rock Galactic, the dwarf game. Yeah, holy fuck we He's
- 46:35like, you want to play Deep Rock? I was like, yeah,
- 46:37I'll redownload it on this I would spend a while. Since we played it,
- 46:38I never even the highest level character I had was like fifteen. Like
- 46:42it wasn't remember playing a ton. We played one night and that game is
- 46:46so fucking addicting. I needed so much fun, man Like, I can't
- 46:51stop playing. And I even even got to the part where I can promote
- 46:52any of my four guys. But I'm actually switching between characters like these.
- 46:57I was like, oh, I'm gonna be this guy. It's like,
- 46:58okay, cool, I'll played this one. Then I care about just leveling
- 47:00up my mane. I was like, I don't mind switching, which for
- 47:04me is huge. Usually when I play a game, I'm one of those
- 47:07guys like, no, I make one character and this is what I play,
- 47:09and yeah, and that's it. Like I don't like doing multiple characters.
- 47:14But when this game, like when I'm playing with Aggie or our roommates
- 47:16Cybernetic and shit, it's like, I don't mind switching. I'll play.
- 47:21I'll play the fucking drill. I'll just dig holes. I don't give a
- 47:22fuck. I get to shoot bugs and drill holes. I'm happy as fuck
- 47:25right now. And it's cool because you're like, you're it's a stupid resource
- 47:29hunting game. That's all this is. It's it's simple, it's it's it's
- 47:32first person. You get to buy beer before you go onto into these things.
- 47:37You get the dance with your friends and drink, and then you get
- 47:39to go into these asteroids and mine and shoot bugs and it's so much fun.
- 47:46What oh oh you can't play. Crap? Well I could play.
- 47:52I just can't play with you. Oh crap. Oh because you got it
- 47:55on Steam. Yeah, yeah, it's not game Pass. We'd have to
- 47:59see if steams got it on sale. It goes on sale. When it
- 48:06goes on sale on Steam, like it's like ten bucks when it goes grab
- 48:08it because the ten bucks. That's that's fine, that we can play and
- 48:10we'll just have two versions of the game, right, yeah, whatever,
- 48:14you want to raise our ship or wonder if you'd still have the same account.
- 48:16No, it'd be a different account. You'd start have to start over.
- 48:20But honestly, we're not that far ahead anyways. It's true. But
- 48:24yeah, that game has been a riot, and it seems like they're adding
- 48:27new stuff to Deep Rock as well all the time. They have a battle
- 48:30pass type of thing as well, you can unlock. It's just all cosmetics.
- 48:34It's all on locks, um that are porectically free from that. If
- 48:37you don't want to pay for you can still get everything. Um. This
- 48:42is the one that you said that the cosmetics, if you didn't purchase them
- 48:45while they were active or whatever, they become deactive for purchase. But yeah,
- 48:50a lot of the battle pass ones and the cosmetics, if you fail
- 48:52to unlock them, um during the season or whatever, and they move on
- 48:57to that season, they instead allow you to ran unlocked them through chests and
- 49:00loot throughout the game. So even if you didn't get them that season whatever,
- 49:05you'll get them eventually. Yeah, you just play the game and you'll
- 49:07get him in the game. So it's like, that's pretty fucking neat.
- 49:09I like that shit, and it's cartoony and it's fun and it's just a
- 49:14fun you don't have to think type of game and to do it with your
- 49:17friends is great. Um. Other than I've been playing a lot of Call
- 49:22of Duty again because they unlocked the new season and I've been on that and
- 49:25I got this new stupid overpowered shotgun and I am destroying everybody. I took
- 49:30on a team afore today by myself, and if I had the right vest
- 49:35on, I probably would have gotten I've had that stephone because none wouldn't no
- 49:37more. Fuck I was. But it's like an AA twelve. It's a
- 49:39fully automatic shotgun that has sixteen rounds and three barrels on it that rotate.
- 49:45Is it shooting? It's insane, like a weird try bar shotgun. It's
- 49:51like, which would end up like springboarded us being like, wait, try
- 49:57bar, that's a real thing, right, yeah, it is Google like
- 50:00real quick and then shoot we found this tribe or shotgun. It's a break
- 50:04action. You break up. It's real. It's got like two triggers,
- 50:08like, it's got a four trigger and a rear trigger. The four trigger
- 50:12fires the two um left and right barrels, but the rear triggers the one
- 50:15that fires the third under barrel one. It's just fucking cool now. It
- 50:21just reminded me of a shotgun from I think Resume of five called the hydra
- 50:27Yes and it had three barrels side by side. Yeah. Yeah, I
- 50:30was like, that was fucking tight. That was like, man, that's
- 50:34the first thing I thought. We started looking up the real one, like
- 50:37tribal assume that's what it was going to be. Like you're gonna say borerlands.
- 50:40I mean, Borderlands got some fun designs as well, but none of
- 50:45them are practical of them are actually um yeah, yeah, it's fucking I've
- 50:50been having a ball early the last few days. I've been recording a few
- 50:52things, so some videos will be up on some of those. Hell yeah.
- 50:55And I've been streaming now, so if anybody hasn't noticed, Aggie and
- 50:59I've been stream a little bit more. We are on Twitch and on kick
- 51:02I am able to duel stream. I think I'm streaming to YouTube too,
- 51:05but nobody really follows me on there. So not a big thing, but
- 51:10we're getting into streaming a little bit more. I want you all played Don't
- 51:14Starve together stream that. I never played it before. I didn't know anything
- 51:17about this game, oh boy, until he bought it for me and then
- 51:21we started playing. And holy crap, dude, that thing is hectic.
- 51:24It's the art style is amazing. It's definitely burton esque, as Algie described
- 51:29it to me. Yeah, the controls aren't bad or anything. And the
- 51:31game, I mean, it makes sense. It's definitely a survival game.
- 51:36But what holy crap, man, a certain form where you start going insane
- 51:37or something like. My brain started shrinking and I start seeing shadows, and
- 51:42I kept eating these mushrooms, which I think fucked me up at the beginning,
- 51:45so I ke'm eating them. I don't know, I'm eating like all
- 51:47these mushrooms like I'm hungry. I'm not. And my brain shrunk so much
- 51:51that one of those shadows killed me and then I turned into a ghost.
- 51:57Yeah. I had to figure out how to resurrect him real quick because if
- 52:00I didn't him, just simply being a ghost and floating around drastically drained my
- 52:06sanity. So he was literally dragging me down with him. So I had
- 52:10to go find this just like fucking slab, like am I come fucking click
- 52:16on this thing and he does and he comes back to live and the stupid
- 52:22thing ends up zapping me, so I ended up taking health damage. Anyways,
- 52:24I'm like, oh, great, thanks, but they gave They gave
- 52:28us a lot of fun. It's definitely survival. I want to get back
- 52:31into it a lot more because it's like, yeah, it's a resource survival
- 52:35game. You go cut trees, get twigs and shit, but it's creepy
- 52:38as hell and you hear shit, the darkness is not your friend. No,
- 52:43it is not. Yeah, because once once the sun goes down,
- 52:45if you don't have a fire, everything's coming in at you. You see,
- 52:50like remember the old like cartoons back in the day, Like the darkness
- 52:53you see like the evil white eyes and the darkness and the shadows or something.
- 52:57They're in that ship when it gets dark and you have a fire,
- 52:59you see those eyes man, and they're coming at you. And it's in
- 53:01the moment. It's scary, but it's really cool. I love that that
- 53:06game, not being like in first person or VR or something, gave me
- 53:10that type of experience, like watching this picture book game. You know,
- 53:15Yeah, it was nice to feel that, like, oh my god,
- 53:16I'm getting like antsie and shit. I like that. It was really fun,
- 53:21very cool. Hell yeah, I just have one game that I could
- 53:24talk about, but I can't talk about it too much because it would be
- 53:28spoiler territory for it. But you guys, everybody who listens knows I'm a
- 53:31huge fan of Dane Robot love that game. Series of Death has not come
- 53:36back in any meaningful way, shape or form, but the same the guy
- 53:42who helmed those games has put together a crew and created a game called Raincode.
- 53:50It's Master Detective's Archive Raincode on Switch. It's currently only available on Switch.
- 53:57I'm hoping it comes to PC at some point, and I'm pretty sure
- 53:59it will. But it's it's it's a game about a kid who wakes up
- 54:05in a train station, lost and found, and he turns out he's in
- 54:09a good place because he's lost his memories. He doesn't remember who he is
- 54:13or what he's doing. But he finds this letter on him telling him to
- 54:15go to this part of the city with these other Master Detectives, and he's
- 54:20like, wait, a minute, I'm a master detective. What the fuck?
- 54:22And he gets on the train and I can't say too much more without
- 54:27spoiling it, but it basically all hell breaks loose. Like I. You
- 54:30meet these other master detectives, and they all have some kind of spiritual power,
- 54:35some kind of thing that gives them an advantage investigations. Like one person
- 54:38can hear literally everything, including someone's heart beating from up to five hundred away.
- 54:45Another person can detect life in a similar manner, but his extends to
- 54:50all beings, not just like humans. Another guy can control animals and can
- 54:54use like mice and shit to eavesdrop on conversations. And uh, yeah,
- 55:00so they all have these funny powers. You no idea what yours is.
- 55:04But you you pass out, you wake up, and you're greeted by this
- 55:07like ghostly floating creature who tells you that she is a death god and that
- 55:14you have signed a contract with her to increase your own detective abilities. Uh,
- 55:21and so she's going to help you out with that. Um, and
- 55:24she's a total perv. Yeah so, and your your character is absolutely not.
- 55:30So it's it's it's a really it's a really funny game. Um,
- 55:37but saying anything more about what happens next would be heavy spoiler territory. Suffice
- 55:42it to say, I thought, after like three or four of these games
- 55:45already I would know what was coming, and I was wrong. Right out
- 55:50of the gate the very opening through me for the biggest loop, I was
- 55:53like, holy shit. Um, so yeah, I've just played the opening
- 55:59chapter on that on switch, but I'm looking forward to uh finishing it out
- 56:02and being able to give it a thumbs up or thumbs down. So far,
- 56:06it's okay. Um, it's trying very hard to be a dangan Rope
- 56:10alike. It's trying to it's trying very hard to be like it's not Dangon
- 56:15Rope, but it's kind of dan Yeah. Yeah, so um it's it's
- 56:21it's it's very very obvious. But it also has such really neat imagery.
- 56:30Okay, Like your character solves these these mysteries by going to this mystery labyrinth.
- 56:35And as you're walking through this labyrinth, like the actual walls and floors
- 56:39spin out, rotate and change like right in front of you. It just
- 56:44looks so cool as you're traversing through it. But the design is so colorful
- 56:47and bright and cheery, and the interactions between you and this death god who
- 56:53wants you to touch your boobs is just it's It's insane. It's absolutely insane,
- 57:00and I and I adore it. So I'm looking forward to checking out
- 57:04more of it. Oh yeah, but that's all I can really say about
- 57:07it for now without spoiling shit. Fair that way, if anybody else does
- 57:10play it, take a DM Yeah I do, because I don't want to
- 57:13like people stop people from talking about it. Yeah. Absolutely in games?
- 57:19Uh has anybody used that team MoU site? I started using it a while
- 57:22ago. Are You for fucking Real? I actually got some good shit out
- 57:27of it, including our four K webcam we got for here Are You for
- 57:30Real? And it works fucking nice. I also got an action camera from
- 57:34my motorcycle. It works fucking nice. Came with waterproof case, all these
- 57:37like twelve mounts that I don't even need, like the sits actually pretty cool.
- 57:39I ordered a suit from there fucking Materials wonderful. I love it.
- 57:43The suit was like half the price I wasn't get at Coals Like wrong size.
- 57:46I sent it off to get the right size. But yeah, that
- 57:49was the only thing that was wrong. What the fuck is going on.
- 57:52Like I've been seeing their ads and being like, this has gotta be some
- 57:55it's working. It's gotta be some scam or some bullshit, like you're talking
- 57:59about give me. They're giving away these drones for like free. Yeah,
- 58:02like what the I got? I got motorcycle gear for free. It costs
- 58:07me shit. Like I'm just I'm like that this has to be some kind
- 58:09of there's some kind of scams. It's just an experience, stolen goods or
- 58:15something like when the SD cards come in this week that I got because I
- 58:20got some terrible ones for like a couple of bucks, and I got two
- 58:23order and fifty six gigs for like a dollar or something. No way,
- 58:27they're gonna be good. You'd be surprised. No way. All my other
- 58:30s four K cameras great. I haven't had an issue yet, and it
- 58:32was like twenty bucks. It's awesome. So if anybody would like to use
- 58:37that site, oh my god, get a hold of me. I'll then
- 58:42you get some free shit too. I might. I might try a code
- 58:45or two, but I'm not spending a ton of money. I'm just gonna
- 58:47be the first thing I spent, Like, no joke, I got like
- 58:51some free crap like get like free blah blah blah or whatever. I didn't
- 58:54sign up for anything, no phone number, none of that ship It was
- 58:57just like one of the free spin things, since you get something for free
- 59:00if he's like, choose something from here. One of them happened to be
- 59:02the motorcycle chain cleaner I needed. It's a special brush. And then I
- 59:06got some actual motorcycle protective gear from my elbows and my shin pads and everything
- 59:10cost me a dollar to get it shipped here. That was the first order,
- 59:14a dollar. I got both of those scent. The next thing I
- 59:16got was the cameras, the the actually camera, the web camera, and
- 59:22the suit. And after the discounts I got that time, everything was half
- 59:27off plus three shipping. I think it costs me like like thirty thirty two
- 59:30dollars with shipping and stuff. And then it returned to suit for free and
- 59:34give me my forty bucks because it was the price went up on the suit,
- 59:37so now I have credit on their site. It's weird, man.
- 59:40I think it's because it's all cheap manufacture stuff from overseas. They ship it
- 59:45all over here on like multiples of the same stuff and then just warehouse.
- 59:52Yeah, like, how how easy is it to make those nickel and the
- 59:58small electronic chips when or overseas and the places that make them there and you
- 1:00:01just get somebody they're like, all right, I can sell these for like
- 1:00:06cents on the dollar compared to the day over here because they got to ship
- 1:00:08it all here. I'll just ship it all at my price. And I
- 1:00:10have a warehouse. They're selling them for three bucks. It's crazy. I
- 1:00:15mean, I just I'm not saying everything's good. I'm just saying the stuff
- 1:00:17that I've gotten so far, I haven't had issues. It just it just
- 1:00:21feels like Wish two point zero, you know. It's yeah, I know,
- 1:00:23it's like this can't be good, but it's actually turning out to be
- 1:00:28kind of good. And everybody that I've spoke with in my DM group that
- 1:00:30has used it because I sent off a codgirl, yeah, we use it
- 1:00:32all the time and it's great too. And those are people within the industry.
- 1:00:37All right. But I'm not saying it's all great because I don't know.
- 1:00:39But everything I've experienced has been good, and people that I've heard have
- 1:00:43been good. All right, So if you'd like to try it, hook
- 1:00:45me up very good? All right, that's all. I think we should
- 1:00:47wrap it up. Yeah. I think we've done a good job of getting
- 1:00:51a good full show. Hey guys, thanks for listening. I hope you've
- 1:00:55enjoyed. Uh, leave us a voicemail, damn it. You don't have
