- 0:00SPEAKER_00: You gotta leave people with that.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's not just all doomsday, right?
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: You know, Jesus came into the world at the darkest time, right?
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: That's what the the ancient fathers would say.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: He came into the world the darkest time because he's the light of the world.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: So he would try in the brightest.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: So this is a dark time.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: John Paul II, you here we at the John Paul II Renewal Center.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: It said we're in the end time.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: So these are dark times, and the final battle is against the family.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: And so look, there's got to be great hope there.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: And so I'm my message is one of hope.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: That's Claymore's message, and it all starts with the father.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: And so um, you know, the devil can take the father out, he can take the whole family out.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: So we got to really begin there.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Claymore Become Who You Are podcast.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: I'm Jack Rigger, and I'm here with Mark Hauk.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: Very excited to be with Mark.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: Mark uh came across my radar some years ago when a FBI SWAT team uh raided his home with uh automatic rifles, wife and eight children at home.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: It's amazing what we were under just a few years ago.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: But uh, anyways, Mark's gonna come out for our annual dinner.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be in Illinois, where west of Chicago.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: I know our audience is spread all over the nation and even goes to 12 or 14 different countries.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: So not everybody can fly in, but I'd love to get a couple guys from Canada, Mexico, uh, the Netherlands.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Come on in and we'll introduce you to everybody else.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: But we wanted to spend just a couple minutes with Mark, allow our audience to get to know him.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: If you're in the Chicagoland area, you can come see him live.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: Mark, welcome and thank you for your courage, your strength, and everything that you've gone through the last few years, brother.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Ah, praise God.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Jack, for having me.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Excited to come join you guys in November and uh let's get people excited for uh authentic masculinity and Catholicism.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: It's a great time.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Tell the audience just a little bit about what happened on that fateful day.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, which was only two days ago, the anniversary five years ago, October 13th, the day of the Sun Dance.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: I was there with my son uh praying at the pro-life uh prayer vigil, Planned Parenthood in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Been doing that for 20 years.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: I've been going down faithfully, just praying.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: And as my son actually turned 12, we decided, my wife and I, that we would be intentionally bringing him down as a homeschool boy to join me once a week to pray.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: And uh he had been doing that for 10 months, and it was October, and yeah, he just was starting to get harassed and bullied by a local escort who volunteered Planned Parenthood.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: And anybody that's done these vigils knows that they can be a little, a little aggressive and and can be a little vulgar, and you know, certainly he was, and he was even beyond that.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: So I had to just step in as a dad and protect the boy, and and that's what we did, ultimately put us in the crosshairs of uh the Biden administration, which all was preceded by the Dobbs leak, and then uh ultimately the the law fair came in after Dobbs overturned Roe.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: And so, yeah, I became international news at that point with a raid, a pre-dawn raid in September of 2022, and was facing 11 years in prison,$350,000 in fines and three years supervised probation.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, uh basically the book was thrown at me as a pro-lifer.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: I didn't break the law.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Uh Philadelphia PD saw no law breaking there.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Uh but the Biden administration did.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: So uh but we we went to trial and uh thankfully we're acquitted uh with the jury of my peers in 2023, January 2023.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: And so you were exonerated already, right, by the local police, etc.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: You had told them, from my understanding, that hey, if they had any questions, the FBI had any questions, you'd come in, you'd talk to them.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: You're I'm an open book, in essence, right?
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: We said we'd turn ourselves in if they wanted to indict us, right?
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Because like no reason to bring even Thomas Moore Society, right out of your area, was representing me and totally communicating with the authorities.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Thomas Moore Law Center said, uh, look, he's a peaceful guy.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: We'll bring him to you.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: No need to scare his family.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Just let us know.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: We'll come right in.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Uh, but they wanted no part of that.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: They they wanted to intimidate, and it was it was, as we always would say, that the uh the process was the the punishment.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: So the intimidation is a big deal, right?
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, if they're gonna intimidate somebody, they want to make it splash it all over.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: The fake news is Trump would call it would love to get a hold of those things.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: What's there like 20 or 21 other people?
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: So whenever you issue a warrant, usually it's a sheriff, a local sheriff will bring the warrant out to when it's a federal case, the FBI will do it.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: Usually one or two federal agents will come to your door, especially if you're a peaceful guy, you're not a threat to the community or you're not a violent offender, or a previous offender, right?
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: So they'll just come to the door, bring the warrant, say, hey, sir, get you know, finish your coffee, come on down.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: You know, we gotta we gotta bring you down to the station.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Well, no, they brought 10 marked and unmarked units to my house.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: They had backups, Philadelphia PD, they had Bucks County Sheriffs and Pennsylvania State Troopers with them.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: So it was about 20 plus federal law enforcement and local authorities with pistols drawn all behind their doors and M16 guns with the feds right in front of me and all doors surrounded.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: So about 20 to 20, 25 uh personnel on the property that day at 6 30 in the morning to uh really scare.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: What do they tell all of those agents, do you think, Mark?
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: And in in other words, did those agents understand what you what really had transpired, or did they do they not tell them?
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: I mean, do they tell them that hey, this is a dangerous, wanted criminal, or what do you think the role of all these agents and stuff and what what's going through their mind as as fathers, probably, husbands, as just people that that have a heart for justice?
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's amazing to me, and maybe this is the way to frame this.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: It's amazing to me how people will just follow.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: You know, this is my job, I'm just gonna follow.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Kind of reminds me of, you know, they used to interview the the German soldiers, you know, the in with the Nazis, and they just said, Well, I'm just following orders, you know.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Look, it's a great question, Jack, and I'll tell you that we talked to state troopers who were invited to that day.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: Now, all these guys are backup to the FBI, they're deputized and they have federal immunity as a result of that.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: But they don't have to be there, it's totally their choice.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: So we met state troopers that were invited to that that raid that day, and they said, absolutely not, I'm not doing it.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: So they had some degree of knowledge of what it was, obviously.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Uh, they don't have all the knowledge that the DOJ would have, but obviously the DOJ is going to tell them what they want them to hear, which is like, you know, bad guy, we're picking him up, come get your overtime and come get your your certification, so that you cannot advance sometimes in the federal agencies in the bureau unless you go on a certain amount of raids.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: And so they these guys have to do it to even get like credentials as they move.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: So some of them are just there, just totally like, you know, a emotional about it.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: They just like it's just a job.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: But frankly, like you said, with the Nazis, it's not just a job.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Like you, you have consequences of the choices you make, and you have a choice to make, and you could you made the wrong choice that day.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, um, you know, there was plenty of them that that did that, women and men.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: My earlier question about the numbers also pertained to the number of different people that were also arrested.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: Was it Paul Vargas, one of the names?
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: Paul Vaughn.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: Paul Vaughn, yes.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: Didn't he have eleven children?
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: And there were there were like 18, 19, 20 other people that were arrested under some pretty heavy potential jail and prison time, right?
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: Well, they all they all were convicted, except me.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: I was the only one that wasn't.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: You're kidding.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: Wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: They were all convicted?
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: Now on various kind of the same type of charges or or or different things.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: Were they all praying?
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: It was all face act violations.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: Now it was all Can you explain the Face Act to some people that may be listening that don't know what that is?
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: All these pro-lifers were indicted under a face act violation.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: The face act is a law that was brought into into our country in 1993 with Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton in office.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: And basically it was it stands for freedom of access to clinic entrances.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: And it was designed in 1993 to stop what was happening at the time called rescue or operation rescue.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: And it was really designed to really demoralize the base and uh and and it effectively did that.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: It effectively stopped the rescues, the sit-ins, the civil disobedience that Martin Luther King used to bring about a just end in the civil rights movement.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: So in a similar way, the pro-life movement had done that.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Well, the FaceAct now was being brought back in by the Biden administration to now go after pro-lifers, but this time just innocent pro-lifers, people on the sidewalk like me that are just choosing a different side of the argument, right?
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: And but there are people that did sit-ins, like Paul Vaughn was doing a sit-in and blocking doors.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: And so the people that were there, they were breaking the law.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: I mean, you can't do that, but but they were doing it for altruistic reasons, and and they knew the consequences of it.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: So those people were indicted on that as well.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: However, usually it's it's a slap on the wrist or some sort of like citation of uh it's never like involved like federal time.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: So these people were put away for what could have been up to ten years, like me, and they were really throwing the the book at them, and a lot of them were pardoned when Donald Trump came into office.
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: All of them were amazing, amazing.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: So, how did you get here?
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: What was your background like?
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: And also tell us about the the men's ministry because we have a similar one.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: Everybody knows Claymore, the sword that's hanging behind me, made famous by William Wallace in a movie Braveheart.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: And so that's what we do.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: We pick up that sword.
- 9:28SPEAKER_01: We know this is a spiritual battle, and as John Paul II said, that first battle is always fought on the battle of the human heart, right?
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Between love and lust, between being a self-giving person and someone who's grasping and taking.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: And uh, and of course, we feel that spiritual battle taking place first in our hearts, marriage in the family, and uh into our culture and even into our nation.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: So we're we're uh you feeling this, Mark?
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: You have to be feeling it, brother.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, it it's amazing.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: If you if you haven't stood up and and did what Mark look at, I got the first time I ever got banned from something was from a local library for exposing the pornography that was in the in the school systems in that district, and they actually banned me from the library and just getting the letters, you know, starting to get the letters, you know, it's really something when you first get attacked.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: So so this really works, doesn't it, when they start to intimidate you.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, look, you you built I'm built off what you said.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Boys take, men give.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: And so I I got involved in men's ministry because I was just a boy uh in a man's body, and I needed uh better formation, I needed better initiation, and I wasn't really finding it.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: A cradle Catholic, um, I joined the Knights at Columbus to to try and find some formation there for myself, but uh I didn't really find it.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: It's not a knock against the knights, I'm a knight, but it just wasn't there.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: So we started our own men's initiative back in 04 called the King's Men.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: And one of the things we took on at that time, as you allude to, is pornography.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: And we had a goal to eradicate pornography in the state of Pennsylvania, and and it was a big goal, but you know, when you set goals, that's that's what you do.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: You you make it almost a reach goal.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: So, you know, we did that and we closed 22 sexual-oriented businesses, and so it was involved in in working with that and exercising First Amendment rights in addition to the pro-life fight, which I always was a part of prior to starting the men's ministry.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: So we kind of dovetail what the pro-life movement was doing, and we said, hey, fighting pornography is at the root of the problem, right?
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: People aren't going for abortions unless they're in a hypersexualized culture, which is totally pushed onto us by the multi-trillion dollar porn industry.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: It wasn't trillion dollars when we started, it was a billion-dollar industry then, but now it's gotten so much worse.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: And so, um, you know, our boys and our kids are all, you know, their innocence.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: They they know very little time of innocence as a result of social media and and the and television.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: So, you know, we have a big battle, and and the claymore image is a great image.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: You know, we have to we have to take our swords, which would be our rosaries, right, in the spiritual realm and really drive a blow to to the evil one.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: And that's done through prayer and leading our families as head of the domestic church, uh, and really guiding our families that way.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: And uh, you know, you don't have to be a perfect dad or a perfect man to lead your family, right?
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: You just gotta you lead with your weakness, you know.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: You just and that's what we've been preaching to men for years, is lead with your weakness.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: And uh and that means just, you know, take up what you got and just start slugging, right?
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: Start fighting.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: You don't have to have it all figured out and you can learn on the way.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: So that's why Claymore and what we're gonna be doing in Chicago is very important that we understand that you know, just because you didn't have a great dad or you didn't have a great father, or maybe you've made some bad choices, like St.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: Augustine did, you know, you can still write the ship, you know, you can still gotta write straight with that crooked line.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: And so that's uh that's kind of what we've been doing at our ministry for 20 plus years.
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and for for men listening today, don't feel bad.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: Don't go on a defensive with this stuff because because what happens is so many people weren't formed, Mark, were they?
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, this I my dad's uh uh I mentioned to you last time we talked that he's uh he's a hundred years old, World War II vet.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: But you know, they thought the culture through osmosis just passed on the faith and this formation that you're talking about, right?
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: To form form your conscience, to form you as a person, body and soul, huh?
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: And it didn't happen that way.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: I was born in the 50s, but grew up in the 60s and the 70s, and sexual revolution was in full tilt by then.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: And so we were never really formed, you know, uh because the church had changed, and the church gave us a watered down, they threw out the the Baltimore catechism, nothing really filled the space.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: And man, I'll tell you what, I wanna when I look back at the damage that did to us and uh and then later on in our marriages and stuff now the reason I bring that up, you can times that by two and three uh for the generations that followed us, because again, I didn't have much to pass on then, but the culture had really gotten bad, and now you now, like you said, the pornography in Illinois, it's it's actually in our school systems, you know.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: Uh it's called comprehensive sex ed, and they're actually showing these per pornographic images to second graders, third graders, fourth graders.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: And so it's really something what's happening.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: So my point being it's stolen innocence.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: You brought this up earlier.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: It's stolen innocence when a young guy how many guys do we know, Mark, that are now uh married in their 30s, maybe even forties, that that were exposed to pornography when they were just young boys by accident.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Most of the guys that I d I work with, they did it by accident.
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: They heard it in school, they heard it from a friend, they saw something on their phones, they Google it, get caught up into pornography.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: But when uh uh when a young man's uh from that age of innocence, this is his first exposure, this is brutal, brother, on a man's heart.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: And if he isn't formed, if we don't help them, they can carry this on for a lifetime, can't they?
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it it's so subtle.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: I mean, that the devil just comes in and and and you know, you'd be watching a ball game with your kids.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: We're just talking about this uh currently, and with the bad advertising as you're watching a ball game, the maybe the major league playoffs, and you see some sort of sexual message that's coming through in a commercial, and dad's gotta deal with that with their kids.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: And so what this does, and what you're alluding to, is it triggers in pure curiosity.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: It triggers that in a little person, a young person who says, Well, I've never seen that before.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: But then uh unfortunately, we have really well-intentioned parents who are not making good decisions, and that decision is to give their 12-year-old one of these, right?
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: To give them a cell phone.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: And they think that's what you're supposed to do.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: I gotta get them used to, you know, communicating with me and learning in the culture.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: But, you know, it's one of the deadliest things you can do is give your kids a cell phone.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't recommend anyone getting a cell phone prior to driving, and that's not to drive and text, but just that when they're out and about, they might need to be able to communicate if something happens.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: And they don't even need to have the internet on those phones, by the way.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: Give your kid an Apple Watch.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: That's what we do with my kids.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: They can text and call, but they don't need to have the internet, so it's a good way to communicate.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: But a lot of parents, they succumb to the pressure that their kids say, I want a phone, I want a phone.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: And they give them this time bomb, which is set to go off, and it's gonna go off.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: And when that impure curiosity is triggered through the messaging, the billboards, whatever social media that they're exposed to, and again, television is huge with this, they're gonna they're gonna Google it, they're gonna search it, they're gonna want to know what the what that was because it's it's it's just the way the mind works, their curiosity.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: And so sadly, today we have a lot of kids who their free will is being violated.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Like their free will tells them to avoid that.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Like it's inborn, right?
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: They just that's bad.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: But then the culture says, no, this isn't bad, and then they're friends and their peers and all sorts of uh weird stuff.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: That's why we homeschool our kids, because you know, just to keep them away from that as much as possible.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: But uh, but like you said, Jack, it's a world that doesn't care about that, and uh, we as parents got to be vigilant.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: And and then what I always tell parents is just because you did that, in other words, you may think yourself a hypocrite if you tell your kids not to do something you did.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: You're a teacher when you learn from something that a mistake that you made, and then you pass on the right message, you become a teacher.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: But a lot of parents say, well, you know, I I grew up with cable TV and R-rated stuff, and I was why me, I'm talking about myself, watching this stuff, and you know, my mom and dad didn't really think the wiser.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: They grew up in the 50s and like, you know, it's it's okay, but I I tell you, I was scandalized by all that stuff.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: And uh it ruined me.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: It ruined me.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: And you said it earlier, it's negligence on parents.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: And frankly, that's that's who God will hold accountable ultimately.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: You know, I we're desensitized by this, right?
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: We're like the frog sitting in a proverbial pot.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: And I'll tell you why I know that.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: When I came back into church, I came back into church in 1995, I was 38 years old, had been away for 20 years, had three children already.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: By then, one of my brothers died, and as he was dying, he brought me back into the church.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: And and so I started to sit down on a couch and watch some of the TV shows that my kids were watching that before I didn't even notice, and now I started to see them through a different lens.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: It's amazing what happens when you again when you start to become formed and you start to form your conscience.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: It doesn't just happen by itself.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: We like you said, you have this innocence within you, we have this potential within us, but it we have to be taught, we have to be modeled, and that's what uh that's what Claymore's about, that's what all the King's Men is about, is forming us, putting the putting a foundation beneath our feet, you know, like Jesus said, you know, build your house on the rock, and then to take that uh that heart that's been transformed and bring it into your marriages, your families, you know, love your neighbor, bring it into the culture, restore the the patriotism, love of country, how does that all work together?
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: You have to be formed for that, don't you?
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: And our schools aren't doing a good job.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: So as as we wrap up, any any final thoughts on what you're gonna be talking about when you're coming to Geneva?
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: That's uh that's a month from now, depending on when we get this uh podcast up on November 11th.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: If you're in the Chicagoland area, especially the Western suburbs, reach out to to me, my uh email and my contact information's in the show notes.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: But Mark, what are you excited to talk about?
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, excited to join you.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: It's a it's a great uh organization, great outfit.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm blessed to to be invited to to share some insight at this wonderful banquet that we'll have on on the 11th of November.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: And uh yeah, I'm I'm gonna be sharing a little bit of the journey that you heard today.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: But going further into the details about you know how God really transformed me through it.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: And and I think that's just it.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Everything that happens to us, God can use for good.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: Even even the evil that is supposedly around us, God can use for good.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna be talking about that.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Uh obviously having some great fellowship, hoping for a packed house.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: Really looking forward to it.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: I will be with you for a couple days.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: So if if people can't meet make it that night, maybe we can run into them another night.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: But but look at it.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: We'll be in Chicago, that's right.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: We'll be in Chicago on the 12th.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: We'll get some more information off from that.
- 20:12SPEAKER_01: But but you also have a message of hope, don't you?
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: Uh Mark.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: It's gotta be.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: Part of this is your message for sure is hope.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: And you're right.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: It's got to be your hope.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it it's gotta be.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: You gotta leave people with that.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's not just all doomsday, right?
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: You know, Jesus came into the world the darkest time, right?
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: That's what the the ancient fathers would say.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: He came into the world the darkest time because he's the light of the world, so he would shine the brightest.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: So this is a dark time.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: John Paul II, you here we at the John Paul II Renewal Center.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: It said we're in the end times.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: So these are dark times, and the final battle is against the family.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: And so look, there's gotta be great hope there.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: And so I'm my message is one of hope.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: That's Claymore's message, and it all starts with the father.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: And so um, you know, the devil can take the father out, he can take the whole family out.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: So we got to really begin there, and that's what that's what we're gonna be talking about, and that's my story.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: Well, God bless you.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: Hey, thank you so much.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: Thanks for joining me.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: Thanks, everybody, thanks for being with us today.
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: We'll talk to you again soon.
