- 0:10Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? Everybody? Welcome into this edition of
- 0:13Speaker 1: to check O Delhi.
- 0:14Speaker 2: It's Andrew de Checo, Eagles beat reporter for Inside the
- 0:18Speaker 2: Birds dot Com, and the Eagles and the Fridgid Confines
- 0:21Speaker 2: of lambeau Field outlast the Packers team that shows some
- 0:25Speaker 2: signs of life late. They secure a ten to seven
- 0:28Speaker 2: win and approved the seven to two on the season
- 0:31Speaker 2: with a primetime home matchup with the Detroit Lions looming.
- 0:36Speaker 2: It wasn't aesthetically pleasing but the Eagle at least from
- 0:40Speaker 2: an offensive standpoint, but the Eagles were able to make
- 0:44Speaker 2: enough plays to put the Packers away and close things
- 0:48Speaker 2: out late in this game. There was a lot of
- 0:50Speaker 2: head scratching plays and decision making in this game. There's
- 0:53Speaker 2: a ton to unpack, but let's get to the numbers here.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Jalen Hurts completed a fifth teen of twenty three pass
- 1:01Speaker 2: attempts for one hundred and eighty three yards and a touchdown,
- 1:04Speaker 2: and he added another twenty seven yards on the ground.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Running Back Saquon Barkley carried twenty two times for sixty yards,
- 1:11Speaker 2: and wide receiver DeVante Smith led all Eagles pass catchers
- 1:15Speaker 2: with sixty nine yards and a touchdown on four catches
- 1:18Speaker 2: and seven targets. On defense, the Eagles recorded three sacks
- 1:24Speaker 2: belonging to jay loox Hunt, Na Kobe Dean and Nolan Smith.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Tremendous debut for newly acquired pass rusher Jalen Phillips, who
- 1:34Speaker 2: had a fumble recovery. He had six tackles in the game,
- 1:39Speaker 2: won for loss, two quarterback hits, probably four or five
- 1:45Speaker 2: pressures in that game, and he was an absolute force
- 1:48Speaker 2: against the run, showcasing his physicality his length. That was
- 1:52Speaker 2: a huge addition for the Eagles, And I said it
- 1:55Speaker 2: when they acquired him, it wasn't hyperbole then. It's certainly
- 1:58Speaker 2: not hyperbole now that I feel like that is the
- 2:02Speaker 2: missing piece that this team needs to.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Push them over the hump here.
- 2:06Speaker 2: If they're able to stay healthy, You're going to start
- 2:08Speaker 2: to see a team that has all of the necessary
- 2:11Speaker 2: ingredients to make that push to Santa Clara. The Eagles
- 2:15Speaker 2: may not say it, but I'll say it, and I
- 2:18Speaker 2: think you see the ability for the Eagles to win
- 2:21Speaker 2: a game, whether it's ugly or they can win pretty
- 2:23Speaker 2: like they did against the Giants. It does not matter
- 2:25Speaker 2: to them as long as they come out with a win.
- 2:28Speaker 2: There's plenty of things to improve upon. DeVante Smith said
- 2:31Speaker 2: as much after the game when he was talking to
- 2:34Speaker 2: Scott Van Pelt, and the Eagles are never satisfied and
- 2:37Speaker 2: that is a lethal combination for a team that knows
- 2:40Speaker 2: how to win ugly, knows how to win in those
- 2:43Speaker 2: type of alley fights, but they're also not satisfied and
- 2:47Speaker 2: they know what they need to do to turn it
- 2:49Speaker 2: up and play to their standard. So let's look at
- 2:51Speaker 2: some of the some of the notes in this game.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Inactive for the Eagles quarterback Sam Holli, who's the third quarterback,
- 2:57Speaker 2: cornerback Jay or Alexander, cornerback macmcon Williams, running back AJ Dillon,
- 3:02Speaker 2: center Cam Jurgens, and defensive tackle Ty Robinson. Hours before kickoff,
- 3:07Speaker 2: the Eagles activate outside linebacker Nolan Smith from injured reserve
- 3:10Speaker 2: and elevated outside linebacker Patrick Johnson from the practice squad.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Johnson has one remaining elevation. The way the game opened
- 3:19Speaker 2: was interesting because after much discussion and deliberation this week,
- 3:24Speaker 2: it was Quinn, it was Dori Jackson who started opposite
- 3:28Speaker 2: Quinn now Mitchell in this game, and he logged his
- 3:30Speaker 2: fourth start of the season.
- 3:32Speaker 1: He was involved in the game's first two plays.
- 3:34Speaker 2: He teamed with a bunch of his teammates to bring
- 3:37Speaker 2: down Packer's running back Josh Jacobs for a gain of
- 3:40Speaker 2: five and then on the next play he failed a
- 3:43Speaker 2: corral Josh Jacobs on a catch and run along the sideline.
- 3:46Speaker 1: They gained six yards.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Starting at linebacker was fourth year pro Nikobe Dean. He
- 3:52Speaker 2: was alongside Zach Bond, but the Eagles still found a
- 3:55Speaker 2: way to incorporate Jahad Campbell in the mix in that
- 3:58Speaker 2: opening series as an edge usher. In fact, the starters
- 4:02Speaker 2: were Jalen Phillips and Nolan Smith and the second wave
- 4:06Speaker 2: was Jehad Campbell and Jay Looks Hunt more on him
- 4:08Speaker 2: in a moment. But it's interesting in the sense that
- 4:12Speaker 2: Nolan Smith and Jalen Phillips were two players that the
- 4:15Speaker 2: Eagles did not have fourteen fifteen days ago when they
- 4:21Speaker 2: last played against the Giants, and you can see the
- 4:23Speaker 2: noticeable impact that they had. Even Brandon Graham Love six
- 4:28Speaker 2: or seven snaps in this game. When the official snap
- 4:30Speaker 2: total comes out tomorrow morning, I'm intrigued to see how
- 4:33Speaker 2: the Eagles officially allocated the snaps. But I thought that
- 4:37Speaker 2: vic Vangio had a sound plan of attack to deploy
- 4:41Speaker 2: all of his edge rushers. I don't know that I
- 4:43Speaker 2: saw josh Yusche on the field all that much, but
- 4:45Speaker 2: there was about a four player rotation that he was
- 4:48Speaker 2: sending waves of pass rushers at Jordan Love and Jordan Love,
- 4:52Speaker 2: the Green Bay quarterback did not look particularly comfortable in
- 4:55Speaker 2: the pocket for the duration of the game.
- 4:57Speaker 1: He looked to have happy feet.
- 4:59Speaker 2: He was a little hesitant to pull the trigger, and
- 5:02Speaker 2: I thought that that really revealed itself for much of
- 5:06Speaker 2: the game. He seemed to settle in a little bit
- 5:08Speaker 2: in the fourth quarter, but that Eagles pass rush alleviated
- 5:11Speaker 2: a ton of pressure on the back end, which is
- 5:13Speaker 2: something that I've been talking about and why personally I
- 5:17Speaker 2: prioritize edge rusher at the trade deadline. You didn't hear
- 5:20Speaker 2: Doris Jackson's name mentioned all that much. You didn't see
- 5:24Speaker 2: a young secondary which includes rookie safety Drew mccouba fall
- 5:29Speaker 2: victim to a veteran quarterback and a offensive play caller
- 5:32Speaker 2: in Matt Lafleur, who have ways of really manipulating young
- 5:37Speaker 2: and taking advantage of younger players. And for someone like
- 5:39Speaker 2: a Dori Jackson, who is not a younger player, someone
- 5:42Speaker 2: who hasn't necessarily he's been up and down this season.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I think that's fair to say.
- 5:48Speaker 2: But as I mentioned, the Eagles wasted little time getting
- 5:51Speaker 2: Jahaed Campbell and Jay looks Hunt in the mix. On
- 5:54Speaker 2: that first drive, j loox Hunt completely ruins the Packers'
- 5:58Speaker 2: first drive with that eleven yard sad and.
- 6:01Speaker 1: The stats may not show it.
- 6:02Speaker 2: And I know that we live in a world of stats,
- 6:04Speaker 2: but I've always been one to delve beyond the stats
- 6:08Speaker 2: and what are your eyes telling you?
- 6:10Speaker 1: And the eye test tells you that jay.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Loox Hunt has been playing good football all season long,
- 6:15Speaker 2: and now he's starting to get the stats to back
- 6:19Speaker 2: that up. But he seems to have settled into a
- 6:22Speaker 2: role that I think he's more ideally suited, that third
- 6:25Speaker 2: edge rusher role, keeping him fresh, he's good against the run,
- 6:28Speaker 2: he plays with a ton of energy, and the Eagles
- 6:31Speaker 2: have all of a sudden, least seemingly an embarrassment of
- 6:35Speaker 2: riches at the edge rusher position, which was hardly a
- 6:38Speaker 2: position of strength going into the trade deadline. From an
- 6:44Speaker 2: offensive perspective, the bye week does seem to have aided
- 6:48Speaker 2: Kevin Patullo and conjuring some new ideas in terms of personnel.
- 6:52Speaker 2: For example, the Eagles on the first offensive series incorporated
- 6:55Speaker 2: all three running backs, those being Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby,
- 6:58Speaker 2: and Will Shipley. And Shipley, who entered the game having
- 7:01Speaker 2: touched the ball just nine times in six games, touched
- 7:04Speaker 2: the ball twice on the opening series. The first occurred
- 7:07Speaker 2: on a third and ten where Will snared an eleven
- 7:10Speaker 2: yard reception along the sideline to keep the drive alive,
- 7:13Speaker 2: and the next game on a second and three, when
- 7:16Speaker 2: Will carried for four yards. It's possible that his involvement
- 7:20Speaker 2: in this game plan could be game specific, but it
- 7:23Speaker 2: is interesting to see the backfield variation that we were
- 7:26Speaker 2: all expecting throughout the first eight games. Something to keep
- 7:29Speaker 2: an eye on. But Will was involved throughout the game,
- 7:33Speaker 2: and he really has been a sporadic player within the offense.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Maybe they're going to start to change things up and
- 7:40Speaker 2: get different players involved on a more situational basis.
- 7:45Speaker 1: But Will has a lot to offer as a pass catcher.
- 7:47Speaker 2: And I think that you see that two catches for
- 7:50Speaker 2: seventeen yards in this game. The Jalen Hurts first quarter
- 7:56Speaker 2: fumble on the opening drive was just the team's fourth
- 7:59Speaker 2: turnover of season. Notably, that possession covered seventy seven yards
- 8:03Speaker 2: over sixteen plays, but then the remaining four first half
- 8:07Speaker 2: drives when is followed three plays three yards, punt, three
- 8:11Speaker 2: plays eight yards, punt, five plays seven yards, punt, four
- 8:16Speaker 2: plays six yards, turnover on downs and a half. And
- 8:22Speaker 2: in regards to Jalen Hurts and his performance today, aside
- 8:24Speaker 2: from the thirty six yard touchdown to Devonte Smith, I
- 8:28Speaker 2: thought Jalen was a little bit uneven in this one.
- 8:30Speaker 2: There was the red zone fumble, which we just talked about, sure,
- 8:33Speaker 2: but he was also off target on a handful of
- 8:36Speaker 2: throws and I think the most prominent being the deep
- 8:38Speaker 2: heave to tight end Grant Calcatara that likely would have
- 8:41Speaker 2: yielded a touchdown. Instead, it was rendered incomplete despite Calkatara's
- 8:46Speaker 2: diving attempts. Still, Hurts was efficient enough on this night,
- 8:50Speaker 2: helping the Eagles to improve the seven and two. Maybe
- 8:54Speaker 2: it was the self inflicted wounds in frigid conditions that
- 8:57Speaker 2: played a part in this, but the Eagles seemed re
- 8:59Speaker 2: lucky and to open things up offensively, particularly on some
- 9:02Speaker 2: third and longs, but even in their red zone offense,
- 9:05Speaker 2: which I've lauded for Kevin Bittullo's creativity and innovation and
- 9:11Speaker 2: just their aggressiveness. It didn't exactly push the envelope in
- 9:15Speaker 2: this game. I would have liked to have seen the
- 9:16Speaker 2: Eagles elicit more of a conscious effort to push the
- 9:21Speaker 2: ball down the field, but that wasn't the case in
- 9:24Speaker 2: this one. Again, it wasn't aesthetically pleasing, but they made
- 9:28Speaker 2: enough plays offensively to complement what the defense was able
- 9:32Speaker 2: to do in shutting down the Green Bay offense. It
- 9:37Speaker 2: was evidence early on in this game, and it definitely
- 9:40Speaker 2: showed on the television, and I'm sure it looked to
- 9:44Speaker 2: be that way, you know if you were there at
- 9:47Speaker 2: the game. But the Eagles struggled with their footing specifically
- 9:50Speaker 2: on offense, and I think back to the opening drive
- 9:52Speaker 2: when it was a first and tent on the twenty six,
- 9:55Speaker 2: Cam Lattu and Darius Cooper slipped on a play that
- 9:58Speaker 2: resulted in a Hurtz throwaway. And on the second drive,
- 10:01Speaker 2: left tackle Jordan Malata and Saquon Barkley, who was unable
- 10:05Speaker 2: to stick his foot in the ground and cut. They
- 10:07Speaker 2: struggle with traction issues on that second drive. And speaking
- 10:11Speaker 2: of my Lotta, he was tagged with two first half
- 10:13Speaker 2: penalties to false starts. But I think that the traction
- 10:19Speaker 2: really impacted the offense, especially early. I didn't notice it
- 10:22Speaker 2: as much later in the game, but it was something
- 10:25Speaker 2: to note, and that's why I made that observation in
- 10:29Speaker 2: my postgame notes.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Hey, it's Jeff Mosher, and if you have a family

- 11:48Speaker 3: We've all been there, But when it comes to your cannabis,
- 11:51Speaker 3: Camden Apothecary makes it easy. This is the dispensary for
- 11:56Speaker 3: sports fans, just minutes outside of Philly, with plenty of
- 11:59Speaker 3: free parking.

- 12:00Speaker 3: Out fast, no hassle, no waiting, and they don't just
- 12:04Speaker 3: care about convenience. Cam din Apothecary is all about the

- 12:19Speaker 3: you're stocking up for the tailgate, the watch party, or

- 12:25Speaker 3: stuff without overpaying. They even show love to the community
- 12:29Speaker 3: with specials for fans, students, service members, and healthcare pros.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Cam Den Apothecary top quality cannabis, great prices, and an
- 12:39Speaker 3: experience made for Philly fans twenty one and up.
- 12:43Speaker 2: But I would also say this, looking at the offensive line,
- 12:46Speaker 2: apart from the first half holding penalty, I thought Brett Hoath,
- 12:50Speaker 2: who was making a second career start at center in
- 12:52Speaker 2: place with an injured Cam Jurgens, performed admirably at center.
- 12:56Speaker 2: The seventh year pro held firm at the point of attack,
- 12:59Speaker 2: and he again showed case athleticism in climbing to the
- 13:01Speaker 2: second level. He also appeared comfortable at the controls, much
- 13:05Speaker 2: like he did the last time the Eagles played in
- 13:07Speaker 2: Week eight against the Giants. So the Eagles lost right
- 13:11Speaker 2: tackle Lane Johnson for much of the game with the
- 13:13Speaker 2: ankle injury, and that put Fred Johnson into service as
- 13:17Speaker 2: his replacement. But in recent weeks Fred Johnson, if you remember,
- 13:20Speaker 2: has served a role in the jumbo package, but that
- 13:23Speaker 2: didn't preclude the Eagles from continuing to implement an extra
- 13:26Speaker 2: offensive lineman, and that player was Matt Pryor, who fulfilled
- 13:30Speaker 2: that job description, but of course Lane Johnson returned to
- 13:33Speaker 2: action late in the game.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Lane Johnson, I can't say enough about him.
- 13:36Speaker 2: He's tough as nails, so is Landon Dickerson, the entire
- 13:40Speaker 2: offensive line, and I think Lane Johnson really embodies what
- 13:45Speaker 2: they're all about. I like the qualities that Xavier Gibson
- 13:50Speaker 2: brings in the return game. He you know, he's decisive,
- 13:54Speaker 2: he's explosive.
- 13:55Speaker 1: And he has dynamic qualities.
- 13:57Speaker 2: And back in we Gate, he picked up a seventeen
- 14:02Speaker 2: yard return. That was his first game taking over for
- 14:05Speaker 2: Johan Dotson, who, if you remember, was elevated to a
- 14:07Speaker 2: starting role, a more.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Prominent role with aj Brown out of the lineup.
- 14:12Speaker 2: And for perspective, Johan Dotson through seven games accounted for
- 14:17Speaker 2: forty eight yards on five returns and he had a
- 14:19Speaker 2: long of fifteen, So you can see.
- 14:23Speaker 1: The impact that that Gibson had.
- 14:25Speaker 2: He had eighteen yards on his first one, thirteen yards
- 14:28Speaker 2: on the second one, and he fair caught the first one.
- 14:31Speaker 2: So he's a young player that I think is going
- 14:34Speaker 2: to continue to grow and improve.
- 14:36Speaker 1: But it seems like the Eagles have.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Something there in Gibson, who just has a little bit
- 14:41Speaker 2: more juice as a returner.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Some end of the game numbers.
- 14:46Speaker 2: The Eagles were flagged seven times for sixty one yards.
- 14:49Speaker 2: The offense finished seven of sixteen that's forty four percent
- 14:53Speaker 2: on third down, and the defense held the Packers to
- 14:56Speaker 2: five of thirteen thirty eight percent on third down. The
- 15:00Speaker 2: team ran sixty offensive plays. The story in this game
- 15:05Speaker 2: was the defense. They flowed to the football. They played
- 15:08Speaker 2: it with an aggressive mindset. They were not impacted by
- 15:11Speaker 2: the weather, nor did I expect them to be. Knowing
- 15:14Speaker 2: the mentality and the resolve of this Eagles team, but
- 15:18Speaker 2: you can see that the attitude and the swagger that
- 15:21Speaker 2: the defense has, and I think a lot of that
- 15:24Speaker 2: some of it has to do with the insertion of
- 15:26Speaker 2: d Kobe Denett, linebacker really effective against the run. Made
- 15:30Speaker 2: the second play of the game, tack one Josh Jacobs.
- 15:33Speaker 2: He got a sack which was to force and enforce
- 15:36Speaker 2: the fumble from Jordan Love which was recovered by Jaywen
- 15:40Speaker 2: Phillips and Ree blankshep got their fumble recovery late in
- 15:44Speaker 2: the game on Josh Jacobs on the fourth down play.
- 15:47Speaker 2: But the juice that he brings the leadership that can't
- 15:52Speaker 2: be I don't.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Think that I'm overstating it at all.
- 15:55Speaker 2: And he is that heartbeat that the defense needs, and
- 15:58Speaker 2: the Eagles are finding a to incorporate both Dean and
- 16:02Speaker 2: Jahad Campbell into the defensive plans. Dean's certainly somebody that
- 16:07Speaker 2: the Eagles weren't there, especially on obvious rundown situations.
- 16:11Speaker 1: He's a thumper.
- 16:12Speaker 2: He's also fundamentally sound and highly intelligent. But there's also
- 16:16Speaker 2: roles for Jahad Campbell. He's athletic, he has the length,
- 16:20Speaker 2: he can cover tight ends and running backs, and he
- 16:23Speaker 2: just covers a lot of ground and he's continuing to
- 16:26Speaker 2: develop as a player. I've said this many times, but
- 16:30Speaker 2: every week he makes tangible strides as an off ball linebacker,
- 16:34Speaker 2: and they're even giving him opportunities to rush the passer.
- 16:36Speaker 1: They're doing whatever they can to get him in the.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Mix in some capacity, and they should. The secondary was
- 16:43Speaker 2: not victimized all that much in this game. In fact,
- 16:48Speaker 2: they were able. I thought they did a really nice
- 16:49Speaker 2: job against Jordan Love. I was expecting to see Dori
- 16:53Speaker 2: Jackson targeted a little bit more. A Dory answered the
- 16:57Speaker 2: bell in this game, and that was a question. And
- 16:59Speaker 2: I go back to the open here that we all
- 17:01Speaker 2: had going into it. I was of the belief that
- 17:03Speaker 2: it was going to be Keiley Ringo going back to
- 17:06Speaker 2: the starting role, considering he performed pretty well against the Giants.
- 17:10Speaker 1: He's a young player, and I.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Thought the Eagles were going to continue to build on
- 17:14Speaker 2: that to better assess where Keeley is. I think they
- 17:19Speaker 2: have an idea of who he is, but I thought
- 17:22Speaker 2: if it were kind of up in the air, the
- 17:23Speaker 2: Eagles would defer to the younger player in Ringo. But
- 17:26Speaker 2: at Dori Jackson's obviously the preference for Vic Vangio. We've
- 17:29Speaker 2: seen that at multiple points this season, and he was
- 17:33Speaker 2: ultimately the player who yielded the start.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I didn't notice much from Michael Carter.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I'll have to go back and look at the snaps
- 17:40Speaker 2: in this game, but he was active, he was available,
- 17:43Speaker 2: and that's something that I will be monitoring in the morning,
- 17:47Speaker 2: just to get a sense worth how much in what capacity.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Some of the new additions played in this game. Good
- 17:53Speaker 2: pressure up the middle from the defensive line. Moro Jomo
- 17:57Speaker 2: had a couple of really good rushes. He is uniquely built,
- 18:00Speaker 2: and he's powerful, and he has really long arms and
- 18:03Speaker 2: he makes it a considerable challenge for opposing guards to
- 18:07Speaker 2: get a hand on him, and I think that that
- 18:09Speaker 2: really manifested on a couple of situations in this game.
- 18:14Speaker 2: He is such a good, complimentary piece of this defensive
- 18:16Speaker 2: line and he's carried over his summer throughout the season,
- 18:20Speaker 2: and there's many moments in this season that you can
- 18:22Speaker 2: look back on late game situations, not necessarily in this game,
- 18:26Speaker 2: but late game situations where Jomo has come through with
- 18:29Speaker 2: a big sack. But in this one, I noticed that
- 18:32Speaker 2: there were some good rushes that he had in this game.
- 18:35Speaker 2: And jay loox Hunt, again, the stats don't always tell
- 18:39Speaker 2: the whole story. He has just two sacks on the year,
- 18:42Speaker 2: but he is a player who I've seen improve on
- 18:45Speaker 2: a week to week basis. Vic Vangio remains high on
- 18:49Speaker 2: jay loox Hunt and now he's in a role where
- 18:51Speaker 2: I think he's going to be even more fresh and
- 18:55Speaker 2: for you know, when you look at down the stretch
- 18:58Speaker 2: here and what that could mean, you get player who's
- 19:00Speaker 2: starting to stack some productive games, at least in the
- 19:05Speaker 2: stack column, and he's a force against the run and
- 19:07Speaker 2: he brings a lot of energy on the field, and
- 19:10Speaker 2: you compliment that with what the Eagles have from now
- 19:13Speaker 2: a healthy Nolan Smith and a new addition in Jalen Phillips. Yeah,
- 19:18Speaker 2: I think they have a really good mix there at
- 19:21Speaker 2: pass rusher now, and so all of a sudden that
- 19:24Speaker 2: changes the whole complexion of the defense.
- 19:27Speaker 1: From an offensive perspective, it left a lot to be desired.
- 19:32Speaker 2: I thought that there were opportunities for Jaywen Hurts to
- 19:35Speaker 2: connect with some of his pass catchers. There were some
- 19:37Speaker 2: off target throws AJ Brown, Yeah.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I mean, you got to get him more involved.
- 19:42Speaker 2: There's there's really no reason the Packers were vulnerable on
- 19:46Speaker 2: the corners in Keyshawn Nixon and Carrington Valentine. Valentine had
- 19:50Speaker 2: a couple of nice plays and coverage, but I think
- 19:53Speaker 2: the ball could have been placed in a better spot.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Again, this is upon first watch.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I will go back, as I always do, and watch
- 19:59Speaker 2: the game two where three times.
- 20:01Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean there were moments where.
- 20:03Speaker 2: I thought that they could have thrown it deep to
- 20:05Speaker 2: AJ and let him give him that opportunity to win
- 20:09Speaker 2: in those contested cat situations where those fifty to fifty
- 20:12Speaker 2: balls become.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Seventy thirty.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Maybe with Aj out there, But I wanted to see
- 20:19Speaker 2: the Eagles be more aggressive in this game, and they weren't.
- 20:22Speaker 2: They were more aggressive against the Giants and even against
- 20:25Speaker 2: the Vikings, but we'll see if that was just the way,
- 20:29Speaker 2: you know, the personality of the game and the way
- 20:31Speaker 2: that you know, everything sort.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Of shook out.
- 20:34Speaker 2: But you know, it was something that you would like
- 20:37Speaker 2: to see, especially when the game was sort of hanging
- 20:39Speaker 2: in the balance.
- 20:39Speaker 1: There for a.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Great bid for the large portion of the game, you
- 20:43Speaker 2: would like to see the Eagles at least throw it
- 20:46Speaker 2: up there for aj and stretch the team, stretch the
- 20:48Speaker 2: Packers' secondary out and respect the fact that they were
- 20:51Speaker 2: willing to do it. And for Kevin Petullo, who I
- 20:55Speaker 2: thought really had a nice outing against the Vikings and
- 20:59Speaker 2: an exception against the Giants, I thought he took a
- 21:02Speaker 2: little bit of a step back. I don't want to
- 21:04Speaker 2: be too strong in my assessment here because there are
- 21:07Speaker 2: other factors that likely contributed to it.
- 21:09Speaker 1: There were a lot of self.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Inflicted wounds from the Eagles, but there are also some
- 21:13Speaker 2: bright moments from Patullo as well. And I go back
- 21:16Speaker 2: to the execution piece. When the plays are there to
- 21:18Speaker 2: be made, you have to execute. That completely changes the
- 21:22Speaker 2: whole outlook on the offense and their output of the
- 21:25Speaker 2: evening if some of those players are able to be
- 21:28Speaker 2: connected or converted on. But I thought all in all,
- 21:31Speaker 2: the Eagles have proven time and time again that they
- 21:33Speaker 2: can win any which way. They're a team that the
- 21:37Speaker 2: opponents aren't going to want to see. They're building momentum,
- 21:40Speaker 2: they're getting healthy. We'll see what happens with Cam Jurgens
- 21:43Speaker 2: down the line here. And I should also mention that
- 21:47Speaker 2: Jacorey and Bennett was not activated off injury reserve for
- 21:50Speaker 2: this game. His twenty one day practice window expires Wednesday,
- 21:54Speaker 2: so the Eagles will have to make a swift decision
- 21:56Speaker 2: if they want to incorporate him onto the fifty three.
- 21:58Speaker 2: If it expires, he's on the shelf for the remainder
- 22:01Speaker 2: of the season on injured reserve, So something to keep
- 22:04Speaker 2: an eye on there.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Hey, I still like a good night out, but I'm

- 23:36Speaker 2: And also Willie Lampkin, the Eagles rookie offensive lineman, was
- 23:39Speaker 2: not activated from injury reserve either.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Wasn't really expecting that one.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I was curious about Bennett knowing that his time his
- 23:47Speaker 2: timeframe is narrowing here by the day.
- 23:50Speaker 1: But we'll see. There's never a dull moment here in
- 23:52Speaker 1: Eagles Land.
- 23:53Speaker 2: There's a lot of news on the way, a lot
- 23:54Speaker 2: of layers of the onion to peel back with this game.
- 23:58Speaker 2: But these are my immediate thoughts, and I'm sure to
- 24:01Speaker 2: have other thoughts from this game and other takeaways as
- 24:05Speaker 2: I go back and rewatch it. But you know, moments
- 24:08Speaker 2: after the game, this is kind of where I land
- 24:10Speaker 2: on a lot of things, and I'm curious to hear
- 24:12Speaker 2: where you all land on how this game played out.
- 24:15Speaker 1: But it's hard to argue. With a win, a hard
- 24:17Speaker 1: fought win.
- 24:18Speaker 2: The Eagles improved the seven to two, and they now
- 24:21Speaker 2: prepare to take on the Detroit Lions at home on
- 24:24Speaker 2: a slightly shortened week at Lincoln Financial Field.
- 24:27Speaker 1: That's going to do it for this edition of the
- 24:29Speaker 1: Czech O Daily.
- 24:30Speaker 2: It's Andrew de Checo and I will catch you on
- 24:33Speaker 2: the next one
