- 0:02Seek thou to know that from which these creatures are born
- 0:06where by being born they live and to which they go.
- 0:10Hence, and enter again for that is the eternal Thus goes to
- 0:19teaching of Varona to his son, bhrigu in the tight area.
- 0:23Upanishad translation by SRI aurobindo in the upanishads
- 0:27page, 275 We rarely stop and wonder about how it is we exist.
- 0:34And for what reason, when we do have such thoughts, they are
- 0:39frequently. In fact, mainly limited to the
- 0:42physical processes of birth, life and death.
- 0:47And do not focus on the larger picture of the universal
- 0:50creation and our role within that larger creation When an
- 0:57individual begins to consider the idea that there must be a
- 1:00rationale behind existence that somehow this vast creation is
- 1:06not purposeless and that it has not Arisen out of nothing and
- 1:11somehow developed the entire complex world and indeed the
- 1:16entire creation is entire perspective on life begins to
- 1:21change. Ordinarily.
- 1:24We live in a world of Illusion cut off from this larger reality
- 1:28of existence and fixated solely on our little lives.
- 1:33In the predefined and limited life.
- 1:36That we are told is the sole important thing for us to focus
- 1:40on. Family, School, career, survival
- 1:45and enjoyment occupy. Most people a few those who have
- 1:51speculated on the meaning of all of this, begin to seek for more
- 1:56for answers, for understanding, and for unifying, our lives,
- 2:01with the greater purpose, we somehow feel is out there.
- 2:08The mother writes quote. The first movement of aspiration
- 2:13is this? You have a kind of vague
- 2:16Sensation that behind the universe.
- 2:19There is something which is worth knowing, which is probably
- 2:24for you, do not yet, know it. The only thing worth living for
- 2:29which can connect you with the truth.
- 2:32Something on which the universe depends but which does not
- 2:36depend upon the universe something, which still escapes
- 2:40your comprehension but which seems to you to be behind all
- 2:46things. I have said here much more than
- 2:49the majority of people feel about the thing, but this is the
- 2:54beginning of the first aspiration to know that not to
- 2:59live in this Perpetual falsehood where things are.
- 3:03So perverted an artificial? This would be something pleasant
- 3:07to find something that is worth living for and quote reference
