- 0:00Speaker 1: What is up? Everybody? Happy Thursday? Hopefully you've kept it
- 0:03Speaker 1: under ten pounds of vattid weight after Thanksgiving? Is you
- 0:07Speaker 1: been quick enough? In Brandon Jay McDermott man, the kids
- 0:11Speaker 1: are pumped to have those l's back.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Going to be good to be with you boys and
- 0:16Speaker 2: good not to talk about football.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Right, I would love to talk something about football because
- 0:21Speaker 1: their last weekend was quite the incident in a couple
- 0:26Speaker 1: of different games. The one, the notable one the Michigan
- 0:30Speaker 1: Ohio State game.
- 0:31Speaker 2: So before we go there, because I want to, I'm
- 0:33Speaker 2: going to lead into this with that.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I promise you I got it.
- 0:35Speaker 2: There were several games Ohio, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Florida,
- 0:38Speaker 2: Florida State, Arizona State, Arizona that ended in Malee's not
- 0:44Speaker 2: to be confused with malays, which is what I get
- 0:46Speaker 2: on Sunday afternoons. I'll do it tomorrow, honey. Nebraska played
- 0:51Speaker 2: a football game on Friday against Iowa, and as you
- 0:55Speaker 2: all know, Nebraska in the past thirty five one score
- 0:58Speaker 2: games is one and thirty four, which is astronomically bad,
- 1:03Speaker 2: like ten to that, okay.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Like worse than the Cleveland Browns bad.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I'm going to give you just a few stats here.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Nebraska held Iowa to one hundred and sixty four total
- 1:13Speaker 2: yards while getting three hundred and thirty four themselves. They
- 1:18Speaker 2: held Iowa to forty nine rushing yards, which is their
- 1:21Speaker 2: bread and butter. They had a almost nearly double possession
- 1:26Speaker 2: time over Iowa. They held Iowa to five first downs,
- 1:32Speaker 2: zero for ten on third down conversions, and Nebraska lost
- 1:37Speaker 2: the game. It's the first time since two thousand that
- 1:41Speaker 2: a team with five first downs has won, the first
- 1:48Speaker 2: time ever that a team with five first downs and
- 1:51Speaker 2: zero for ten on third down conversion in FBS football
- 1:55Speaker 2: has ever won a game. Nebraska somehow found a way
- 1:58Speaker 2: to lose. They had a sat tie ten to ten,
- 2:00Speaker 2: had a sack fumble recovered by Iowa with about twenty
- 2:04Speaker 2: seconds left, four or five yards later, kicked a fifty
- 2:07Speaker 2: three yard field goal thirteen to ten. Nebraska loses. Luckily,
- 2:11Speaker 2: we were already Bowl eligible, but we lost. There was
- 2:13Speaker 2: some kerfluffle before the game. Nebraska seniors refused to shake
- 2:18Speaker 2: hands of the Iowa team, which was dumb, but Iowa
- 2:23Speaker 2: refused to let Nebraska prey at the center field, which
- 2:27Speaker 2: ties into where we're going with this, they refuse to
- 2:29Speaker 2: let them pray on the logo, which is what Nebraska
- 2:31Speaker 2: has been doing in away games all year. I don't
- 2:33Speaker 2: give a shit what you feel about that one way
- 2:35Speaker 2: or the other. I don't care how you feel about
- 2:36Speaker 2: shaking hands. But then less than twenty four hours later,
- 2:39Speaker 2: on Saturday, Michigan and Michigan State played matt You can
- 2:43Speaker 2: feel free to carry on.
- 2:44Speaker 3: With this one man.
- 2:46Speaker 1: We were kind of we're obviously watching the game. I
- 2:48Speaker 1: don't think anybody unless you're a Michigan fan really roots
- 2:50Speaker 1: for Michigan. So but nobody, I feel like, unless you're
- 2:54Speaker 1: Ohio State fan also rous their Michigan defending champs. I'm
- 2:57Speaker 1: torn on this. I'm like, I don't really care BUF
- 3:00Speaker 1: he kind of always, at least me, you always root
- 3:03Speaker 1: for the underdog. To have Michigan do what they did
- 3:05Speaker 1: to Ohio State. I'm my god, damn. They win the game. Obviously,
- 3:09Speaker 1: they're kind of oh the Day, which is like, I
- 3:11Speaker 1: forget his first name, day the coach, right, Yeah, they're
- 3:14Speaker 1: terrible versus Michigan, this and that. So we're just we're
- 3:17Speaker 1: playing a board game, me and the family watching the game.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Game's over and then all of a sudden, you look
- 3:22Speaker 1: up and just fists are flying, cops are there, and
- 3:28Speaker 1: this and that, and you're going, huh I any thinking
- 3:30Speaker 1: you know it's gonna get broken up. Nope. We just
- 3:32Speaker 1: kept going and going and going. And it was all
- 3:34Speaker 1: because Michigan wanted to do the old Baker mayfield and
- 3:39Speaker 1: put it and I like one announcer was like, it's
- 3:41Speaker 1: artificial turf. It's not sticking in the field. You're doing it.
- 3:45Speaker 1: And that's what happened. They did it, they slammed it,
- 3:48Speaker 1: and then it was gonna be over until Ohio State
- 3:51Speaker 1: took their frustrations out on the loss and came up
- 3:54Speaker 1: and took offense to it. And I don't know if
- 3:56Speaker 1: you saw the press conference with the coach, but he
- 3:57Speaker 1: didn't do himself any favors.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Now here's my idea on all of these post game
- 4:03Speaker 2: whether no matter the game we're talking about Arizonas State, Florid,
- 4:06Speaker 2: Florida State, Michigan stairt Michigan Ohouse. I don't care if
- 4:11Speaker 2: Nebraska doesn't shake the hands of the other team. I
- 4:13Speaker 2: don't care if Iowa puts Iowa put sheriffs around their logo.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I saw that and so they were blocked by by
- 4:20Speaker 2: law enforcement officers. Michigan players were the police shot was
- 4:29Speaker 2: it into the into the crowd, and so Michigan players
- 4:32Speaker 2: were hit.
- 4:33Speaker 1: If you look at the footage, Ohio State people got
- 4:37Speaker 1: hit first with the yeah, of course, you know, it's field.
- 4:41Speaker 1: It's melee that all the people that actually have you know,
- 4:44Speaker 1: presses and stuff to be on the field. They all
- 4:46Speaker 1: had their cell phones and cameras and stuff. So there
- 4:48Speaker 1: was footage of the guy right behind the guy with
- 4:51Speaker 1: the flag, and you know, and the thing that pissed
- 4:53Speaker 1: me out the most was the second run, like it's
- 4:55Speaker 1: done and over. Then the idiot, I'm not gonna say idiot.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I don't know the guy. Maybe he's actually smart, he's
- 5:00Speaker 1: in college, he's been in college longer than me, probably
- 5:02Speaker 1: as a higher GPA. But then he went right through
- 5:04Speaker 1: Ohio with the flag a second time, instigating it all
- 5:08Speaker 1: back up to the point where Ohio State fan grabbed
- 5:11Speaker 1: the flag or the player grabbed the flag. Then I
- 5:14Speaker 1: got scared because then now you just have a huge
- 5:16Speaker 1: sharp pole and I'm going, oh shit, could it be
- 5:19Speaker 1: used as a weapon. Whatever. Thankfully, it was like almost
- 5:22Speaker 1: like a trainer or somebody grabbed the pole from Ohio
- 5:24Speaker 1: State and just sprinted away from everybody and just got
- 5:27Speaker 1: rid of the damn thing. It was an ugly scene,
- 5:30Speaker 1: like you said, pepper spray. But what I didn't like
- 5:32Speaker 1: there's also there's like footage of an officer assaulting. He
- 5:36Speaker 1: threw his hat and was pushing a Michigan player like instigating,
- 5:41Speaker 1: pointing at him. I don't know what happened before it,
- 5:43Speaker 1: but there's there's gonna be a lot of eyes on
- 5:47Speaker 1: this footage.
- 5:49Speaker 2: So what I was gonna say was the biggest thing
- 5:52Speaker 2: is is yes, first of all, there could be even
- 5:53Speaker 2: criminal stuff coming from this for the players most definitely
- 5:56Speaker 2: the Big Ten's gonna lay down some you're suspended for
- 5:59Speaker 2: the bull game type stuff. But I think the biggest
- 6:01Speaker 2: thing I want to say with this, no matter what
- 6:03Speaker 2: we're talking about or whatever, if you are the team
- 6:07Speaker 2: that lost the game, piss off. Go for yourself. Get
- 6:13Speaker 2: the fight of here. Your job was to win when
- 6:15Speaker 2: you were had sixty minutes to win. The clock is
- 6:18Speaker 2: at zero's to the winner. Go the spoils. These are
- 6:21Speaker 2: the spoils. Let them rub their balls on the field
- 6:23Speaker 2: if they want to. They've deserved it, you know, what
- 6:25Speaker 2: I'm saying so honestly, I mean, I mean, if you
- 6:28Speaker 2: wanted to stop them, stop them when it matters, shake
- 6:30Speaker 2: their hands, get off the field, or don't shake their
- 6:32Speaker 2: hands and get off the field, but don't try to
- 6:34Speaker 2: sit around pitter pat. It literally reminds me of when
- 6:37Speaker 2: you were a kid and you were fighting with your
- 6:39Speaker 2: little sister, you're a little brother and he's send you know,
- 6:43Speaker 2: he's doing it just to get you mad, and he
- 6:45Speaker 2: does it and to get you mad, and then you fight, like,
- 6:46Speaker 2: get over it, dude, get over it. You lost the game.
- 6:49Speaker 2: They're gonna celebrate, They're gonna have a year worth of you.
- 6:52Speaker 2: You suck. We've beat you for four years in a row.
- 6:54Speaker 2: There were Michigan Ohio State players who left at zero
- 6:58Speaker 2: to four for their career and wind about it. Who
- 7:01Speaker 2: cares you lost the game four years in a row.
- 7:03Speaker 2: You want to beat them, beat them if you can't
- 7:06Speaker 2: let them celebrate, it is what it is.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I agree.
- 7:09Speaker 3: I mean, that's like you said, you know, they had
- 7:11Speaker 3: their opportunity to defend that field when it looked like
- 7:17Speaker 3: Brandon went away there for a second on my end,
- 7:19Speaker 3: but uh, they had the opportunity to defend that whenever
- 7:22Speaker 3: it was on the field and they failed to do so,
- 7:25Speaker 3: and they're gonna have to relive that moment of them
- 7:28Speaker 3: embarrassing themselves now for even longer because that's gonna be
- 7:32Speaker 3: on people are gonna like they're already making fun of them,
- 7:35Speaker 3: like dude, you guys are worse. Is like get off
- 7:37Speaker 3: the field like you said, like in now, I was saying,
- 7:41Speaker 3: the laws involved. There's gonna be so much footage of
- 7:43Speaker 3: all of this, and I guarantee they're gonna put in
- 7:46Speaker 3: new measures of games like this because of incidents stuff
- 7:50Speaker 3: like this. So it's it's crazy. I don't know.
- 7:54Speaker 1: We can't hear you, hear you. Yeah, But while well
- 7:58Speaker 1: he's he's figuring that out. We they've like they already
- 8:01Speaker 1: when people are going to storm the field, they already
- 8:03Speaker 1: take down the field goal posts, you know what I mean? Yeah, Like, yeah,
- 8:09Speaker 1: you beg So.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I was, I was. I was just gonna say, the
- 8:12Speaker 2: biggest thing I can think of is the conferences or
- 8:15Speaker 2: the NCAA. But the NCAA has literally no nuts. The
- 8:19Speaker 2: conferences are going to come through and say if this
- 8:20Speaker 2: happens during your game of an opposing team, you are
- 8:23Speaker 2: going to be fined a million dollars or whatever the
- 8:26Speaker 2: case may be. So then the teams are going to
- 8:28Speaker 2: have the programs are going to have to say, Okay,
- 8:30Speaker 2: we need to make sure you're talking to your players
- 8:33Speaker 2: because then I can levy a fine on you as
- 8:34Speaker 2: the head coach or whatever the case may be. And
- 8:37Speaker 2: so it's gonna be the onus is going to be
- 8:39Speaker 2: on the teams to say, Okay, you lost, shake your hands,
- 8:42Speaker 2: get the fuck odge.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And it's like the ones. Sorry, it's it's the one
- 8:46Speaker 1: sport that you don't really shake hands. And I don't
- 8:49Speaker 1: know if it's because of emotions. Like all of football,
- 8:51Speaker 1: I mean in the high school level, they shake the
- 8:53Speaker 1: hands like you should. Let's still do your lineup, shake
- 8:56Speaker 1: the hands and then celebrate like that's old school me.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I mean, I guess, I guess in you know, professional sports,
- 9:01Speaker 1: they don't unless it's the end of the series or
- 9:03Speaker 1: something like that. But yeah, there's probably for the best,
- 9:06Speaker 1: there'd be some more punches and some stuff like that.
- 9:09Speaker 1: But so was Baker Mayfield? Was he the first? Like
- 9:12Speaker 1: did he start all of this?
- 9:14Speaker 2: If it goes back to your Cowboys fan, you but
- 9:16Speaker 2: you want to share where it started?
- 9:18Speaker 3: Oh, this tire, dude, I am so elevated. I have
- 9:21Speaker 3: no idea.
- 9:22Speaker 2: So you remember Terrell Owens on the Dallas Cowboy when
- 9:25Speaker 2: he was playing who did he play? The Niners? He
- 9:28Speaker 2: took the football before is.
- 9:31Speaker 3: It really where it started? Whatever?
- 9:33Speaker 2: That was the first time that's ever happened. But that's
- 9:35Speaker 2: the big time. I remember. That's twenty five years ago
- 9:37Speaker 2: or so.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Okay, I remember like Emmitt Smith or somebody just absolutely
- 9:40Speaker 3: like decking him whenever he was on the Star.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Remember who it was it, but yeah, somebody did.
- 9:44Speaker 3: But somebody they like went all the way halfway. Well no,
- 9:46Speaker 3: because Emmett scored and then he went and like praised
- 9:49Speaker 3: the Star after Terrell had like tarnished it or whatever.
- 9:54Speaker 3: And then.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it was in two twenty.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Four years ago. Yeah, shoot, is that when it started?
- 10:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that's when at least that's when I think we remember,
- 10:07Speaker 1: because I mean, two thousand is a pretty rememorable year,
- 10:10Speaker 1: to be.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Honest with you. The fucking field logo is what you're
- 10:13Speaker 2: the fucking ending I was. I had a tweet, save
- 10:18Speaker 2: you boys. I had a tweet it was gonna be
- 10:19Speaker 2: fucking just But again, I counted on this fucking try
- 10:22Speaker 2: to follow throughs like it sent. I had a tweet
- 10:24Speaker 2: that set all looks like Iowa was too busy defending
- 10:27Speaker 2: center field center logo and they didn't defend the end zones.
- 10:30Speaker 2: But we didn't score any fucking towns after the lost.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Couldn't share that one, But I mean, that's who gives
- 10:35Speaker 2: a fuck? Who cares who? They're not saying torch fire
- 10:39Speaker 2: to your fucking goddamn Yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 3: The the Ravens and Titans, they had a big scuffle
- 10:46Speaker 3: within the last got like ten years. I think it
- 10:49Speaker 3: was Marcus Peters. Uh, the Titans went and like danced
- 10:53Speaker 3: on the Ravens logo one time, and they tried doing
- 10:55Speaker 3: that again or something, and then Peters intercepted the ball
- 10:59Speaker 3: and they all went over there and like just scuffed
- 11:01Speaker 3: their fleets into their logo.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I remember that, Yeah, yep, yeah. And there was something
- 11:07Speaker 1: too with Lamar did something when he was with Louisville
- 11:11Speaker 1: or Louisville Louisville. However, people say it around the world
- 11:15Speaker 1: when they blew out Florida State back in the day
- 11:17Speaker 1: when they were number two. What I don't what I
- 11:20Speaker 1: don't like though, is Florida was seven and five or
- 11:23Speaker 1: something like that and then they do the flag drop
- 11:26Speaker 1: on a two and whatever. Florida State team, It's like,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you won, you won the rivalry game. You obviously know
- 11:32Speaker 1: what happened earlier in the day. Come on, they won
- 11:36Speaker 1: two goddamn, but you won the game. What I love
- 11:40Speaker 1: too is a lot of people were talking smack about
- 11:42Speaker 1: Ohio State's coach because all of his assistants and other
- 11:45Speaker 1: coaches were like bloodied up. They were in the middle
- 11:48Speaker 1: of it, and he was way back, not involved, trying
- 11:51Speaker 1: to get his people off.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Six years ago, Michigan Michigan State, and this was when
- 11:55Speaker 2: Michigan came on the field and did the same thing
- 11:57Speaker 2: to Michigan State.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Yep.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah. So I mean, like, this is not new, you
- 12:02Speaker 2: know any any variation of this. It's not new.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But you can dance if you want to.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I always laugh at this. One could do a straight
- 12:10Speaker 2: line from one end of the other. They're like, this
- 12:12Speaker 2: is so dumb.
- 12:13Speaker 1: This is a weird That was a weird moonwalk.
- 12:15Speaker 2: It was. And what's the best gonna happen from this?
- 12:18Speaker 2: You're gonna get injured, You're gonna catch.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Oh oh, he Harry.
- 12:28Speaker 1: That's what happens when you accidentally press leave and not share.
- 12:32Speaker 1: You know, if only we had the footage of that
- 12:37Speaker 1: of just a god defleated.
- 12:41Speaker 3: You know, there was a son of a bitch yep. Yeah.
- 12:48Speaker 1: What's gonna happen, though, is eventually they're gonna just some
- 12:51Speaker 1: teams are gonna maybe just stop putting logos of their
- 12:54Speaker 1: own on on midfield. Could you imagine college football, You're
- 12:58Speaker 1: not allowed to have your you can have his much
- 13:00Speaker 1: in the end zones, but.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Your opposing team's logo in the middle.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Oh, that would be hilarious.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Stupid.
- 13:07Speaker 2: You're not gonna You're not gonna do anything to this logo,
- 13:09Speaker 2: are you.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And then if you win, then you have all the
- 13:14Speaker 1: rights done.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so stupid. It's just so slowly to me, like,
- 13:19Speaker 2: I get it. Defend your field, this is our house.
- 13:22Speaker 2: It's such a such a war mentality. I mean, hell,
- 13:25Speaker 2: even you know, capture the flag, you know, like going
- 13:28Speaker 2: back to that even, but just get over it. Do
- 13:31Speaker 2: your job when it matters, when the clock is still
- 13:34Speaker 2: running in the sixty minutes or or or eat it,
- 13:38Speaker 2: leave the field. I mean, that's the that's the thing
- 13:40Speaker 2: that sucks so much about football. You guys played any level,
- 13:43Speaker 2: doesn't matter if you did or not, you put it
- 13:45Speaker 2: all out there on the field. You lose, you feel
- 13:47Speaker 2: so dejected. There's nothing worse than practicing, fighting, sweating, bleeding,
- 13:54Speaker 2: training for a whole week on it for a team
- 13:58Speaker 2: and then losing in a heartbreak fashion like that to
- 14:01Speaker 2: a rival four years in a row and trying to
- 14:05Speaker 2: collect yourself and say, I've got eleven months, fucking nine
- 14:10Speaker 2: days twelve out, you know, so like it's it's tough,
- 14:13Speaker 2: but that's where the true measure of a man has
- 14:16Speaker 2: had is when you are in your lowest lows and
- 14:19Speaker 2: you've lost how to react.
- 14:21Speaker 1: And I mean, at the end of the day, they
- 14:24Speaker 1: are going to make the playoffs, right, They're not going
- 14:26Speaker 1: to drop out of the two. So these people that
- 14:29Speaker 1: could end up getting hit could have to miss the
- 14:32Speaker 1: first round maybe more. It's like, shut up, And that's
- 14:36Speaker 1: when a coach needs to These players know better. I mean,
- 14:38Speaker 1: you're not talking about you know, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen year
- 14:42Speaker 1: old kids. You're talking about you know, young adults in
- 14:45Speaker 1: there anywhere from what eighteen to well nowadays you can
- 14:48Speaker 1: be thirty four and still play college football somehow. But
- 14:52Speaker 1: I mean, like they need to know better. But like
- 14:54Speaker 1: you said, sometimes it's just what's the old saying, the
- 14:56Speaker 1: nature over nurture. Sometimes nature just takes over and and
- 15:00Speaker 1: what you know and how you've reacted and seen just goes,
- 15:04Speaker 1: you know. But what I thought was wild is I
- 15:09Speaker 1: want to say, was Gus Johnson on the call was
- 15:11Speaker 1: going nuts, like and then the other commentator said something.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Then he was like attacking the other guy. Like you
- 15:18Speaker 1: could feel through the TV how awkward it was in
- 15:22Speaker 1: that booth.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna make a very controversial statement. I may have
- 15:25Speaker 2: said this on before. I cannot fucked hand Gus Johnson.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I am so over Gus Johnson's over the top. Everything
- 15:33Speaker 2: is emotional. Down the sideline gave us seven yards, like
- 15:36Speaker 2: we don't need you to yell every time somebody touches
- 15:39Speaker 2: the fucking like we had. We had a guy who
- 15:41Speaker 2: used to call Nebraska games and it would be like
- 15:43Speaker 2: pass down the field, all the cuts, give get out
- 15:45Speaker 2: a game of three on the places, tackle at the
- 15:47Speaker 2: forty three yard line and you have to read. I
- 15:49Speaker 2: mean you remember back in our day, you had what's
- 15:56Speaker 2: his bucket? Keith Jackson, you had Brent Mussberger at brad Nessler.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I mean those are guys that got excited, well not
- 16:03Speaker 2: I but they didn't get excited every time they.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Got excited when you needed to be excited.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Gus Johnson is just it's so I literally mute the games. Now.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I had to watch NBC with Nebraska Iowa. You was
- 16:15Speaker 2: color commentary on the game. Fucking koy. The fact that
- 16:20Speaker 2: they give these people fuckings just because they played the game,
- 16:23Speaker 2: like you understand x's and o's, then work on a
- 16:25Speaker 2: pregame show like I don't need you in the middle
- 16:27Speaker 2: unless you're as good as John Madden to be doing
- 16:30Speaker 2: color commentary, unless you can do it in an entertaining way.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Fucking that other fuck ESPN that I can't stand the
- 16:36Speaker 2: dude who played punter for the Colts. I can't hate him.
- 16:39Speaker 3: I don't listen.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Color commentary would be amazing.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Okay, now you know, honestly, I was kind of agreeing
- 16:45Speaker 3: with you to a certain extent until you went and
- 16:47Speaker 3: just slapped your dick across my face.
- 16:49Speaker 2: That was you know, Magafe, I know you love you love,
- 16:53Speaker 2: but I'm saying like he'd be good at color commentary.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I can't stand his his stick, but he's branitized to
- 16:59Speaker 2: the n and he's changing the way that people are
- 17:01Speaker 2: viewing it, and I think that's good.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Yeah, relatable definitely to the college kids, the dudes of dudes,
- 17:08Speaker 1: you know. But speaking of Colts, to Andrew Locke, did
- 17:12Speaker 1: you hear he's back in football at the young age
- 17:14Speaker 1: thirty five? He's going to be which I didn't even
- 17:15Speaker 1: know is a thing? What the general manager of Stanford Stanford?
- 17:21Speaker 2: How do you general manage a roster for Stanford? I've
- 17:24Speaker 2: never heard general manager on a college Usually the coach
- 17:28Speaker 2: has all to say.
- 17:29Speaker 3: If there's anybody that deserves this goddamn role, it's Andrew.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Lucks and he's a grant me. Yeah, it's just terrible
- 17:36Speaker 2: what happened to him.
- 17:36Speaker 1: But but that's my point. Don't put him behind a mic.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Put him in a situation that's he's gonna love, he's
- 17:42Speaker 1: going to excel and he's helping a football program like
- 17:45Speaker 1: that seems to make sense instead of Colt McCoy calling
- 17:48Speaker 1: a game, or maybe Tom Brady, is he getting any.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Better He's I don't think he's bad.
- 17:54Speaker 3: I don't.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I mean the first game was a little rough, which
- 17:57Speaker 1: I mean, let's be honest, whether it's Tom Brady, whether
- 17:59Speaker 1: it's and Jay McDermott for the first time calling a game,
- 18:02Speaker 1: You're gonna work it out. I thought I heard a
- 18:03Speaker 1: game of his a little bit ago. I mean, I
- 18:06Speaker 1: gotta be honest. I watched the Red Zone channel, so
- 18:07Speaker 1: there's not many moments that I'm hearing him, but I've
- 18:10Speaker 1: thought he was all right. And I love We've said
- 18:12Speaker 1: it before. I love when a high level brain like
- 18:15Speaker 1: a Brady I know you probably don't like this Oromo,
- 18:19Speaker 1: when they have insights that they can break down relatable
- 18:24Speaker 1: to guys like us. You know what I mean. Because
- 18:26Speaker 1: I wasn't a football guy. I don't know the oh
- 18:28Speaker 1: you did the wishbone hit this gap?
- 18:31Speaker 2: It's like, did I watch to your point, I watched
- 18:34Speaker 2: a replay was It wasn't even on TV. It was
- 18:36Speaker 2: on a podcast that they clipped. Cam Newton was sitting there.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I hate Newton, I always have. But Cam Newton goes,
- 18:42Speaker 2: this is this play and the ball snaps, offensive defensive
- 18:48Speaker 2: lineman hit each other. Quarterback has the ball and he
- 18:51Speaker 2: pauses it and he says, you see what do you
- 18:52Speaker 2: see this here? See this free man that's coming in.
- 18:55Speaker 2: He goes, Who's whose fault is that?
- 18:58Speaker 3: Well?
- 18:58Speaker 2: It's not the offensive line's fault. There's five guys there,
- 19:00Speaker 2: they're blocking five guys in front of them. Well, the
- 19:03Speaker 2: problem is is that the quarterback he says, he's got
- 19:05Speaker 2: four wide receivers. He's got five wide or whatever, you know,
- 19:08Speaker 2: a tight end and four out receivers or whatever it was.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I remember there was no running back to block in
- 19:11Speaker 2: the backfield. He goes. The quarterback sees there's more than
- 19:15Speaker 2: five men on the defensive line that are coming in.
- 19:18Speaker 2: He sees that this is a I don't remember what
- 19:20Speaker 2: he called it, a you know, a fire zone or
- 19:23Speaker 2: something like that. You know, this is a this is
- 19:24Speaker 2: a A. This guy's coming in free. It's on me,
- 19:28Speaker 2: as the quarterback now to say, okay, what are we
- 19:30Speaker 2: gonna do here? And I need to check it down
- 19:32Speaker 2: to the running back. The running back was off off
- 19:33Speaker 2: set or whatever. So he snaps the ball. The quarterback
- 19:37Speaker 2: holds the ball and gets fucking blitzed and fucking get
- 19:40Speaker 2: get rid of it quick enough, and he says he
- 19:41Speaker 2: missed his read. So to your point, like seeing stuff
- 19:44Speaker 2: like that, I'm not an x's and o's guy. I'm
- 19:47Speaker 2: a I'm a okay, he just broke that tackle. That
- 19:50Speaker 2: was poor tackle. Like I can see it as a
- 19:51Speaker 2: fan of watching a football, you know, but I don't.
- 19:53Speaker 2: I can't say, oh, see always split the safeties there
- 19:56Speaker 2: yet at one high Like I can't get into that shit.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I've never I didn't play that that that much or
- 20:00Speaker 2: that well to be able to do that, but but
- 20:02Speaker 2: to have somebody who can break it down like that
- 20:04Speaker 2: for me to understand, I love that shit.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Speaking of snapping and slapping balls, did you guys hear
- 20:10Speaker 1: about the hockey player. I first first heard the news
- 20:14Speaker 1: and with in a pickle radio because you know, our
- 20:17Speaker 1: friends were there. They covered the weird side of sports.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Guy from Minnesota ruptured his testicles got hit with a
- 20:24Speaker 1: hockey puck. Could you imagine thirty seven year old and
- 20:30Speaker 1: uh yeah, I took a slap shot right to the
- 20:32Speaker 1: old boys, and they.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Ruptured right one or the left one.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I don't think they talked about that. The cup had
- 20:43Speaker 1: a massive dent after being struck by the puck, so
- 20:46Speaker 1: he was wearing a cup, got hit so goddamn hard
- 20:49Speaker 1: that they still ruptured. Because that was the first thing
- 20:53Speaker 1: that I mean, somebody gets hit there and they ruptured.
- 20:56Speaker 1: The first thing is like why weren't they wearing a cup?
- 20:59Speaker 3: He was wearing a up.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Dude, could you They're gonna need some kind of contraption
- 21:04Speaker 1: for the boys.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Ninety to one hundred and twenty miles an hour, Those
- 21:08Speaker 2: bad boys.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Go, oh, and there is no gift to a hockey.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that is a piece of what the fuck is
- 21:14Speaker 2: he out of? Like, it's what I would to know
- 21:16Speaker 2: those you've held one holy shit all through somebody's head.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Oh, hockey, hockey pucks.
- 21:24Speaker 3: But they called it the realization of oh it has.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Oh shit. I remember I had that that Sports Illustrated cover.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Uh so this is says this is from people dot com.
- 21:45Speaker 1: This is luckily for Zukarello, whose teammates thought he would
- 21:49Speaker 1: come out of the operation without the testicle. Doctors were
- 21:51Speaker 1: able to save the organ during the procedure. Here's a
- 21:54Speaker 1: quote says, we thought he was gonna lose one nut,
- 21:57Speaker 1: but it actually survived and he's got them both stick.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Paligno said, the alternate captain for the Wild.
- 22:04Speaker 2: We thought it was a guy got hit.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Where the sun don't shine and it ruptured his testicle,
- 22:08Speaker 1: he added, can't even lift anything following the gruesome dream.
- 22:12Speaker 2: We thought he was gonna lose the knots. We were
- 22:14Speaker 2: luckily able to save it. We have it in this jar. Here,
- 22:17Speaker 2: here you go, billy, you know.
- 22:19Speaker 1: And then this is my favorite. This tell me this
- 22:21Speaker 1: isn't a typical dude response. It was hilarious. It's funny
- 22:25Speaker 1: after now that he's okay, It's just I mean, how
- 22:29Speaker 1: many times have you seen somebody get hitting the balls
- 22:31Speaker 1: and instantly laugh. You feel for him because you've been
- 22:34Speaker 1: through it. It's relatable. It hurts, but once you know
- 22:36Speaker 1: they're okay, that's still funny.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Dude. There's nothing worse than something funny happening and you realizing, fuck.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Laugh at this.
- 22:43Speaker 2: That sucks, Like I want to laugh. That was hilarious.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Oh they're gonna go, They're not gonna be here anymore.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Fuck yeah yeah, I.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Still laugh, like and people really hate it because I
- 22:53Speaker 3: come up to them and like I'm laughing as I'm like,
- 22:55Speaker 3: gayre are you okay? And they're like fuf but I'm like,
- 22:58Speaker 3: I'm over here, I'm here to help. But I'm like,
- 23:01Speaker 3: did you see that? But you just got hit in
- 23:03Speaker 3: the dick. Just a buddy.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I had a buddy that I went to school with.
- 23:09Speaker 1: It didn't matter what sport, he was three sport athletes.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Every single game, it seemed like he got hitting the balls,
- 23:14Speaker 1: whether it was soccer, basketball, he was a catcher for baseball.
- 23:18Speaker 1: It did matter. He got hit. And it was always
- 23:19Speaker 1: the joke. We're like, dude, you're not gonna be able
- 23:21Speaker 1: to have kids someday, or it's gonna be the opposite.
- 23:24Speaker 1: He ended up having natural triplets, and I swear he
- 23:28Speaker 1: got hitting the ball so many goddamn times that say
- 23:31Speaker 1: we have. I don't know how many sperm a normal
- 23:34Speaker 1: person has, as I say ten million, he was probably
- 23:37Speaker 1: billions of them just from being hit and split and
- 23:40Speaker 1: hit and split and hit and split. That's my theory.
- 23:43Speaker 1: So you think you can spend all the money on
- 23:46Speaker 1: that stuff, I think if you just get hitting the
- 23:47Speaker 1: balls enough, you're gonna have triplets. Not a doctor, nor
- 23:51Speaker 1: did I play one on TV. I wouldn't recommend it,
- 23:54Speaker 1: but there has to be a reason behind it.
- 23:56Speaker 3: See, I don't. I don't believe in a lot of
- 23:58Speaker 3: those myths because you know, they always said, like, don't
- 24:00Speaker 3: drink mountain dew because of the same thing. My brother
- 24:03Speaker 3: drank a whole bunch of mountain dew. They're like, hey,
- 24:06Speaker 3: don't don't have the laptop on your lab. This was
- 24:10Speaker 3: beating off with laptops on his fucking.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Lab, ribbing mountain dew in a beer helmet.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Exactly, just beating off with mountain dew. Just like this
- 24:18Speaker 3: guy was an animal and had three kids, so that
- 24:22Speaker 3: twins even so, but.
- 24:24Speaker 1: That runs in the family for you guys, right.
- 24:27Speaker 3: He does, it does, But I don't run at all,
- 24:31Speaker 3: So no running in his family. One of his kids
- 24:36Speaker 3: is a They do cross country, and he goes, hey,
- 24:38Speaker 3: you want to come watch this? And I'm like, not
- 24:41Speaker 3: even a little bit. That doesn't even sound entertaining at all.
- 24:43Speaker 2: You want to stand here in a field until the
- 24:46Speaker 2: kids come back running, Like fucking no.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You seen what's written on my notebook some ticks.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, you want to go a good bit and
- 24:55Speaker 3: everything with some mosquito bites and everything to go watch
- 24:57Speaker 3: my kid just run on a hill?
- 25:00Speaker 1: What would you What would you rather watch? Cross country
- 25:03Speaker 1: event or a road race in NASCAR? Because they are
- 25:08Speaker 1: about the same. We have Watkins Glenn is probably the
- 25:11Speaker 1: closest near us. And you're like, all right, and I remember, like, hey,
- 25:14Speaker 1: we're gonna go watch some Nascar. I'm like, I hate Nascar,
- 25:17Speaker 1: you know what I mean, I trust me is hell
- 25:19Speaker 1: of a party scene. So we get to the race
- 25:21Speaker 1: and I'm like, all right, first one and it's zoom zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom,
- 25:25Speaker 1: zoom joom. A couple of minutes later, this is zoom
- 25:29Speaker 1: zooms and it's like, what the hell are we doing here?
- 25:32Speaker 2: It was couldn't it wasn't too fast.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Your friend comes up to you, They're like, can you
- 25:39Speaker 3: believe we have this three hundred more times?
- 25:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna go back to partying, man, But I
- 25:50Speaker 4: would still probably choose NASCAR just because you can at
- 25:55Speaker 4: least socially drink and hit the old dab pen, you
- 25:59Speaker 4: know what I mean.
- 26:01Speaker 3: You know, in these cross country games, they do get
- 26:03Speaker 3: a little cold, but I believe they're still going to
- 26:05Speaker 3: see that it's not my breath, you know, They're gonna
- 26:07Speaker 3: be like, your breath is It's like yep, hm, yep,
- 26:12Speaker 3: it's this candy cane that was eating earlier.
- 26:18Speaker 1: So obviously what are we What're a week after? Did
- 26:21Speaker 1: you guys find any like good deals on the old
- 26:24Speaker 1: Black Friday, Cyber Monday, anything like that? Because I looked
- 26:28Speaker 1: around and I think it's like a running joke now
- 26:31Speaker 1: and the one thing that I'm not gonna go in
- 26:33Speaker 1: a huge rant, but get on the old Amazon, right
- 26:36Speaker 1: and I'm like Black Friday Deals, let's go. And for me,
- 26:39Speaker 1: it was just all like for you, for you. It
- 26:42Speaker 1: was all these deals that were like customized for me,
- 26:45Speaker 1: and they all sucked. And I took screenshots before and
- 26:48Speaker 1: most of them were more expensive than it was before
- 26:50Speaker 1: the Black Friday deal, Like, is there that many dumb
- 26:52Speaker 1: people that are falling for this?
- 26:54Speaker 3: There were?
- 26:55Speaker 2: There were so many. I had the same thing. I
- 26:56Speaker 2: got on there. I was like, oh, because we're driving
- 26:58Speaker 2: from omahall back about two and a half, got onto Amazon,
- 27:01Speaker 2: looked up some of the stuff, like there were there
- 27:04Speaker 2: was a couple. There was one deal where it was
- 27:06Speaker 2: like a like, uh you remember those uh those tall
- 27:11Speaker 2: like circular skinny fans that rotate like back and forth
- 27:15Speaker 2: that are like tall and skinny and they rotate like this.
- 27:17Speaker 2: You know what I'm talking about?
- 27:19Speaker 1: Could you show us one more time?
- 27:21Speaker 2: So there's a heater one And I was like, ooh, honey,
- 27:24Speaker 2: this is twenty nine dollars, like not a bad deal,
- 27:26Speaker 2: Like we could have a little space heater for you know,
- 27:28Speaker 2: the room upstairs, it gets a little cold sometimes. That's
- 27:30Speaker 2: probably the only deal I saw that was decent, but
- 27:32Speaker 2: like other one, like I saw a couple computer like
- 27:36Speaker 2: screams and things like that.
- 27:38Speaker 3: I was like, one.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Hundred and fifty nine. This normally goes for like one
- 27:42Speaker 2: seventy nine, Like this isn't that much of a deal
- 27:44Speaker 2: or even more than you know. So no, I didn't
- 27:47Speaker 2: notice any good deals. I was kind of very disappointed.
- 27:50Speaker 1: You've been got excited when I asked, though you get
- 27:51Speaker 1: what'd you get?
- 27:53Speaker 3: I did so? And also I was trying to fart.
- 27:56Speaker 3: There wasn't loud enough to pick up. So I was
- 27:58Speaker 3: disappointed at that point. So it's going to get really
- 28:00Speaker 3: really pumped up and then get like really sad and
- 28:03Speaker 3: then question things. I was like, also, did I ship myself?
- 28:05Speaker 1: I didn't, though I got you ready do it one
- 28:08Speaker 1: more time, we'll we'll do the edit. Ready make the face.
- 28:11Speaker 3: I was like.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I was like, oh there, we picked that up.
- 28:20Speaker 3: But my my Sunday need to get dropped off at
- 28:23Speaker 3: the like a party. So my daughter was like, hey,
- 28:26Speaker 3: can I go with? And I was like, you want
- 28:28Speaker 3: to go shops? Are She's like, check out? Some deals.
- 28:31Speaker 3: I was like, okay, so, uh you know five below
- 28:35Speaker 3: mm hmm do you guys have those? So we checked
- 28:37Speaker 3: out that place there.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Was that I've heard of it.
- 28:41Speaker 3: There's no deals there. I was like, what is this?
- 28:43Speaker 3: But there's this one store that sells like a whole
- 28:47Speaker 3: bunch of like movies, books like US DVDs, a whole
- 28:51Speaker 3: bunch of comics and stuff like that. It's a very
- 28:54Speaker 3: niche store. Love this store, but uh we walk in.
- 28:59Speaker 3: My stomach's but we walk in there and they had everything.
- 29:05Speaker 3: It was buy one, get one free, and I was like,
- 29:07Speaker 3: oh shit. So we walk in there. I get some
- 29:11Speaker 3: stupid anime figures that were usually pretty expensive dirt cheap,
- 29:14Speaker 3: and I'm like walking over these. But as I'm leaving,
- 29:17Speaker 3: I see two bass guitars and I'm like looking at
- 29:20Speaker 3: it and they each have the stick around there and
- 29:22Speaker 3: I'm looking at this lady. I was like, hey, so
- 29:25Speaker 3: everything's buy one, get one free with these stickers and
- 29:26Speaker 3: she's like yeah. I was like, even them bass guitars
- 29:30Speaker 3: and she's like yeah, I yuess, yeah, yeah, you can
- 29:32Speaker 3: buy one bass guitar, get one free if you wanted to.
- 29:34Speaker 3: And I was like h and She's like, gim men
- 29:37Speaker 3: ring them up, and I'm like, nah, I no, no,
- 29:38Speaker 3: I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna buy two fucking bass guitars.
- 29:42Speaker 3: I walked to my truck talking to my daughter. I'm like,
- 29:44Speaker 3: that's a steal on them fucking bass guitars. Though she
- 29:49Speaker 3: just she's like, we're gonna go back in and get
- 29:51Speaker 3: them right, and I'm like, yeah, let's go, and your
- 29:53Speaker 3: mom's gonna kill us. But we walk in there and
- 29:57Speaker 3: the people were laughing. They're like coming back. I'm like, yeah,
- 30:00Speaker 3: oh yeah. Uh. They were supposed apparently coming a box.
- 30:02Speaker 3: They were brand new, and one of them was one fifty,
- 30:06Speaker 3: one of them was one ten, and they were originally
- 30:08Speaker 3: two fifty apiece brand.
- 30:10Speaker 1: New and brand were they? Do? You know?
- 30:13Speaker 3: Fender something? I can't remember. One of them is a
- 30:17Speaker 3: five string jazz bass guitar and one of them is
- 30:21Speaker 3: a four string bass, so I don't know.
- 30:23Speaker 1: I don't know, but is a little tougher to play, but.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Yet the h But I'm sitting there like, oh shit, okay,
- 30:29Speaker 3: you know we have guitars and everything, boards and whole
- 30:32Speaker 3: bunch of stiments. Let's get a basic. We don't have booze.
- 30:35Speaker 3: But they're like, hey, they're supposed to come to the
- 30:36Speaker 3: new box and I'm like that's fine, Like we can't
- 30:39Speaker 3: find it. And I'm like, okay, if you make them
- 30:42Speaker 3: the same price as this one ten here. I don't
- 30:45Speaker 3: give a fuck about the box. I don't give a shit.
- 30:47Speaker 3: And they're like deal and I'm like, oh shit, we
- 30:50Speaker 3: like five hundred dollars worth of bass guitars for one
- 30:53Speaker 3: hundred and ten bucks. I can passive that's a pretty
- 30:56Speaker 3: good deal. That's what we walk walking in with these
- 30:59Speaker 3: two bass and everything and always like what the is that?
- 31:02Speaker 3: And I'm like I went. I was like, we're about
- 31:06Speaker 3: to become the Partridge family and make millions. And I'm
- 31:08Speaker 3: like my son's like what's this? I'm like yours. I
- 31:12Speaker 3: was like, learn it? Now?
- 31:15Speaker 1: Do you have you have you have an amp or
- 31:18Speaker 1: anything to play through it?
- 31:19Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, yeah, so we already have, Like my daughter
- 31:22Speaker 3: plays guitar already, and so we'll sit there and play
- 31:25Speaker 3: every once in a while. Surprisingly enough, I can I
- 31:28Speaker 3: can play a mad guitar every once in a while. Boy,
- 31:31Speaker 3: But the I can play a cowboll. I used to
- 31:35Speaker 3: play drums, skinnyboard, keyboard, no, I used to know a
- 31:39Speaker 3: few songs. I could probably still play Crazy Train that's about. Oh,
- 31:44Speaker 3: and what's the one that you can play with your
- 31:46Speaker 3: knuckles that plays uh do doup duke do do do?
- 31:52Speaker 3: I could play that one like, give me a keyboard now,
- 31:54Speaker 3: I will slap my dick all over that. I could
- 31:57Speaker 3: play that one with my dick.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Kind of look like you were doing that when you
- 31:59Speaker 1: were in the knuckle song.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I get you guys excited when I got these old
- 32:03Speaker 3: white knucklers.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Yeah, big space heaters and knuckles on keyboards. Man is though,
- 32:10Speaker 1: is we're gonna gain three percent more female viewers from
- 32:13Speaker 1: this episode.
- 32:14Speaker 3: That's right, that's right, Hey, hold on, hold on, all right,
- 32:18Speaker 3: that's right. You got a mold of that nineteen ninety
- 32:25Speaker 3: five in the Beer Law studio.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I wouldn't get one the Black Friday Deals, that's right,
- 32:31Speaker 1: the after Black Friday Deals.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Oh yeah, hey, stock your stuffy stecon, I said steezon
- 32:40Speaker 3: instead of season.
- 32:41Speaker 1: That's for the Steves.
- 32:43Speaker 3: I don't know if I don't know if you guys are
- 32:44Speaker 3: picking up these stomach grouse too, but they are. It
- 32:47Speaker 3: sounds like a yetti is in this room. There's just
- 32:49Speaker 3: real Bigfoot. That's what it does. It sounds like chewbaccas
- 32:56Speaker 3: next door.
- 32:59Speaker 1: It's the time of the record. We do do this
- 33:01Speaker 1: fairly early in the morning, before most of us eat breakfast.
- 33:03Speaker 1: So I mean, in his defense, plus, we got to
- 33:06Speaker 1: we got we did get to see some food. Brandon
- 33:08Speaker 1: was having a little snack. The wife was like, hey,
- 33:11Speaker 1: here's a little snack, a little pre pregame podcast meal.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Turns out his wife loves him more than I didn't
- 33:20Speaker 1: evens apparently because I didn't get it.
- 33:22Speaker 2: She made him for the kids. She made me two
- 33:24Speaker 2: pieces of raisin cinnamon toast with butter, and four sausage
- 33:30Speaker 2: links and two little butter cookies that come from Christmas.
- 33:34Speaker 3: I love it. Praisins, by the way, raisins. But hey,
- 33:40Speaker 3: you say that, dude, my stomach still shut them up. Bro,
- 33:43Speaker 3: we got four people in this podcast. That's three in
- 33:46Speaker 3: my gut. Insane. But yeah, he's teasing us with this
- 33:50Speaker 3: plate of food. It looks delicious. I'm like, now I
- 33:53Speaker 3: want some French toast. I want some sausage links. Ooh,
- 33:56Speaker 3: I'm love of a sausage patty person though there's so
- 34:00Speaker 3: if there's the for some toast on the side. I
- 34:02Speaker 3: can make it into a sandwich. Good stuff.
- 34:04Speaker 2: So I gotta ask you boys, I know you live
- 34:06Speaker 2: in smaller places. Do you have a local diner that
- 34:11Speaker 2: you go to for breakfast meals? Of course it's it's
- 34:17Speaker 2: it's the shittiest service in the world. I went to
- 34:20Speaker 2: a restaurant one time and I was like, do you
- 34:22Speaker 2: guys have, uh, do you guys have? What was it? Fuck?
- 34:25Speaker 2: It's cheese, this fucking boast. Do you see it on
- 34:27Speaker 2: the menu? I was like, all right, I'm home. This
- 34:30Speaker 2: is good. Best steak I ever had.
- 34:35Speaker 3: I want cigarette ash, just a little bit on the
- 34:38Speaker 3: side of my plate. That's what I know. I'm like,
- 34:39Speaker 3: this is gonna be delicious.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I want a guy to walk out of the restaurant
- 34:42Speaker 2: with sweat stains on his gown, you know, Like, yeah.
- 34:47Speaker 3: I want to. I want to determine. Like, I'm like, hey,
- 34:49Speaker 3: it's been a couple maybe weeks since that guy has
- 34:52Speaker 3: that gentlemen a showered. This food's gonna be delicious.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Literally looks like he takes this off at home, sets
- 34:57Speaker 2: it on the door. The next day he just puts
- 34:59Speaker 2: it back. It comes into work.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Mm hmmm. So we had in the closest city to
- 35:06Speaker 1: where I live. There used to be multiple diners. Now
- 35:09Speaker 1: it's down to one. It's one that's been around for
- 35:12Speaker 1: a very long time. Good food, but it's just busy
- 35:15Speaker 1: because it's the one, you know what I mean. And
- 35:17Speaker 1: then where I live. When I was growing up and
- 35:19Speaker 1: going through school, right down from the school in the
- 35:22Speaker 1: middle of nowhere, farmers and stuff like that, there was
- 35:24Speaker 1: a there was like a I don't know they called
- 35:26Speaker 1: it just the general store, but you could go in.
- 35:29Speaker 1: You could get breakfast, lunch, dinner. And there's some new
- 35:32Speaker 1: owners that reopen it after decades of being shut down.
- 35:35Speaker 1: And there. We've eaten there a couple of times. They're
- 35:37Speaker 1: doing a phenomenal job. I mean they're killing it hopefully financially.
- 35:42Speaker 1: But I don't know. When we've been there, food's been good.
- 35:44Speaker 1: So we got get two options within fifteen minutes of driving.
- 35:48Speaker 3: That's not bad, it's not bad at all. Yeah, we've
- 35:51Speaker 3: I've got one that's like twenty minutes away and one
- 35:55Speaker 3: that's about fifteen minutes away as well. So same just
- 35:59Speaker 3: but and every time I order, it's every time I
- 36:01Speaker 3: look at a menu, I'm always looking for like that
- 36:04Speaker 3: big like hey, where's that big breakfast. I want the
- 36:07Speaker 3: one that has all the meats. I want bacon, ham, sausage.
- 36:11Speaker 3: And that's when I get this one place that has
- 36:13Speaker 3: all three of those. And then I don't like eggs.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I know, I'm a crivital. I'm always like, hey, instead
- 36:19Speaker 3: of eggs, can I get like toast or an extra
- 36:22Speaker 3: pancake or something? And they're like, yeah, for sure, And
- 36:24Speaker 3: I'm like, what me some hash browns, give me some pancakes.
- 36:28Speaker 3: It's either going to be bitsits and gravy and or
- 36:31Speaker 3: a pancake or maybe like a waffle French toast, one
- 36:35Speaker 3: of them options.
- 36:37Speaker 1: I'm going, Min's an omelet. I go for the omelet.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I look for the biggest, the best. I love it
- 36:43Speaker 1: when they say everything but the kitchen sink and they
- 36:45Speaker 1: just throw every goddamn thing into an omelet, like, let's
- 36:47Speaker 1: see some of them they pull it off. Some of
- 36:50Speaker 1: them they just suck and they're not great. You know,
- 36:52Speaker 1: they're either like overcooked the eggs and then the stuff
- 36:55Speaker 1: inside isn't quite there. I've been trying to convince the wife, hey,
- 37:00Speaker 1: enough of this teaching bullshit. All right, No matter what
- 37:02Speaker 1: you do with the youth, they're still going to turn
- 37:04Speaker 1: out the way it is all kidding his eye. She's
- 37:06Speaker 1: very good at what she does. But let's just open
- 37:09Speaker 1: a breakfast food truck. That's what I want to do.
- 37:12Speaker 1: I just want to open a breakfast food truck. Let
- 37:14Speaker 1: her and now that the kids are getting a little
- 37:16Speaker 1: let them just have it their entire summer. They'll wake
- 37:19Speaker 1: up early and they'll just get to work. And I
- 37:21Speaker 1: think it would crush it. You just set up every
- 37:24Speaker 1: once in a while quick hit meals, say hey, this
- 37:26Speaker 1: is what we're serving today. Like it or love it.
- 37:28Speaker 1: This is tomorrow. Put the menu out. Maybe you'll get
- 37:30Speaker 1: somebody on a Monday Wednesday, quick hit coffee, local people,
- 37:33Speaker 1: local eggs where everybody has eggs up here. But health
- 37:38Speaker 1: department in New York I think would be a nightmare
- 37:40Speaker 1: to deal with. Oh yeah, but I think it would
- 37:42Speaker 1: be cool. Like I know, if I could find somewhere
- 37:45Speaker 1: that's kind of nice, little quick hit breakfast truck, I'd
- 37:48Speaker 1: go there. But I'm not going to drive twenty minutes
- 37:50Speaker 1: to go to a diner because, to be honest, me
- 37:52Speaker 1: and the wife make better food in our own kitchen
- 37:55Speaker 1: and it's a better price mint Like we crush the
- 37:57Speaker 1: breakfast game.
- 37:59Speaker 3: See, I like my Blackstone, but if there was something convenient,
- 38:03Speaker 3: like so, if I lived in town and there was
- 38:04Speaker 3: something two minutes away, I would utilize that option all day,
- 38:08Speaker 3: all day. But for us, you know, it's like, ah,
- 38:11Speaker 3: I gotta get dressed. You can't drive fifteen minutes, not
- 38:14Speaker 3: to wait thirty minutes for the meal, drive another fifteen
- 38:17Speaker 3: minutes back home to shit. Ye yeah, see covering my
- 38:23Speaker 3: own home.
- 38:23Speaker 2: I totally get it. And I think also cooking breakfast
- 38:27Speaker 2: is like, it's such a for me anyway, it's such
- 38:30Speaker 2: a great family tradition. And not everybody's awake. Maybe mom's
- 38:36Speaker 2: in the bathroom trying to squeeze out a shit, Dad's
- 38:40Speaker 2: just getting out of bed barely, kids are watching cartoons.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Everybody's half dressed, groggy, somebody's sipping their coffee for the
- 38:47Speaker 2: first time. But eggs and sausage and bacon are on,
- 38:50Speaker 2: and we know we're going to get a pretty average meal.
- 38:54Speaker 2: And don't get me wrong, egg sausage and bacon are great.
- 38:57Speaker 2: But if your fuckos you can't cook and anybody can
- 39:01Speaker 2: make them, you know, it's a fool proof thing basically,
- 39:03Speaker 2: and you can, like your eggs, any of a million ways.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Or as you get it as your kids get older.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Now they just decide, hey, we're not watching cartoons. We're
- 39:11Speaker 1: gonna sit in a room all day and watch YouTube
- 39:13Speaker 1: and all this stupid stuff and pretend to clean our
- 39:15Speaker 1: room for four days. But as soon as you start
- 39:18Speaker 1: making food, I don't even ask them anymore, right, we
- 39:20Speaker 1: just make it and either eat it or you go hungry,
- 39:23Speaker 1: or you have like in school, what's the alternate. Well,
- 39:26Speaker 1: we'll get some bread and butter or peanut butter and jelly.
- 39:28Speaker 1: I guess make it yourself, you know. But you just
- 39:31Speaker 1: start making breakfast, and next thing you know, they all
- 39:33Speaker 1: magically appear, like yesterday. I was just sitting there. I'm like,
- 39:35Speaker 1: all right, so we started cooking pancakes and all this stuff,
- 39:39Speaker 1: and you come down and told you I was pancakes.
- 39:41Speaker 1: I could smell it upstairs and this, and then then
- 39:43Speaker 1: they all just come in too. They eat, then they're
- 39:47Speaker 1: all freaking gone, like, yeah, I guess I'll do the
- 39:49Speaker 1: goddamn dishes again, little shits.
- 39:53Speaker 3: That's how it is in my house. So you know,
- 39:54Speaker 3: you don't see him in the morning. You're like not
- 39:56Speaker 3: a soul around and it's like blood in the water,
- 40:00Speaker 3: you know, they start smelling bacon and everything down there.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Oh shit, Dad's making breakfast. And I don't cook hardly anything,
- 40:06Speaker 3: so I hype up the fact that I'm even making
- 40:08Speaker 3: breakfast and the kids are like, oh oh, Dad's making
- 40:11Speaker 3: his best breakfast ever, Like, oh my god, this is
- 40:13Speaker 3: gonna be great. And I'm like, like Brandon said, it's foolproof.
- 40:16Speaker 3: You know. It's like it's basic shit here, you know,
- 40:18Speaker 3: it's it's nothing special, but Dad's making it. So it's
- 40:21Speaker 3: really good. And even my wife's like, I mean, bacon,
- 40:24Speaker 3: scrambled eggs and hash browns. Who gives them? And I'm like,
- 40:27Speaker 3: they give them? Okay, this is this is delicious Dad's breakfast.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Okay, here are our homo genius, our genius whatever I'm
- 40:35Speaker 2: not for. First of all, not for your size, you
- 40:37Speaker 2: fuck has only been around like two point eight million
- 40:40Speaker 2: years something. Look, I stayed up late last night watching
- 40:42Speaker 2: a lot of YouTube videos, but we have been around.
- 40:45Speaker 2: The Homo sapiens have been around three hundred thousand, give
- 40:47Speaker 2: or take. There is something primordial about eating eggs and meat,
- 40:53Speaker 2: eggs and bacon, eggs and sausage. It doesn't matter. I mean,
- 40:55Speaker 2: like maybe that's only goes back as long as we've
- 40:57Speaker 2: been domesticating chickens. And hey, you know these things like
- 41:01Speaker 2: eggs and you crack them open, they're pretty fucking to
- 41:03Speaker 2: cook them. Like, where were the first guy to do?
- 41:05Speaker 4: That?
- 41:06Speaker 2: Was amazing? Followed by the first guy to be like, hey,
- 41:08Speaker 2: you know these stinky fucking to try to ram you
- 41:11Speaker 2: against a tree in the in the forest. If we
- 41:13Speaker 2: stab him on off and we kill him, man, they're
- 41:16Speaker 2: asked me, is just out of this world.
- 41:18Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure his name was Benedict, right.
- 41:21Speaker 2: But anyway, so like, but when it comes to breakfast,
- 41:23Speaker 2: I don't know, Like, you take me to a restaurant
- 41:26Speaker 2: at five pm, and I probably don't want sausage and eggs,
- 41:30Speaker 2: But if it's ten in the morning and it's Sunday
- 41:32Speaker 2: before football, I want some fuckings crush. I felt that
- 41:37Speaker 2: vibrate in my teeth. Dude, that was so good.
- 41:40Speaker 3: That was ale. That scratched my asshole. That was good.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I'm marking that for our new Do.
- 41:46Speaker 2: You know what you when you get it when you
- 41:48Speaker 2: push it? Listen, he's changed the topic. There's no dodge
- 41:52Speaker 2: when you push it so hard that it scratches your
- 41:55Speaker 2: asshole and it offers you a cool wind, like like
- 41:58Speaker 2: you're like, oh, somebody win to my butt cheeks like that,
- 42:02Speaker 2: and then you're like, oh, oh God.
- 42:04Speaker 1: And you're so excited because it wasn't wet.
- 42:07Speaker 3: I know this one was. It was a good that
- 42:10Speaker 3: was just I don't know, it was an equal amount
- 42:11Speaker 3: of pressure. It came out in a good effort. Didn't
- 42:14Speaker 3: have to repush that. No question about the consistency of
- 42:18Speaker 3: what came out of it. It's a good fart.
- 42:20Speaker 1: The rumbling from the stomach, she came out one way
- 42:22Speaker 1: or the other.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Uh.
- 42:24Speaker 1: The middle kid the other day was like, and she's
- 42:27Speaker 1: a catcher and everything, and her knees click and I
- 42:29Speaker 1: have clicking knees. I feel like we all what is that?
- 42:31Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know. So I looked it up
- 42:33Speaker 1: and apparently it's some kind of gas joints like gas
- 42:38Speaker 1: and bubbles and stuff different than you know, stomach gas
- 42:40Speaker 1: and shit like that can actually cause like little air pockets,
- 42:43Speaker 1: the same thing within the knees, clicking the knuckles, cracking,
- 42:46Speaker 1: stuff like that. It's just some kind of gas in there.
- 42:49Speaker 1: So she looks at me, She's like, so essentially, my
- 42:52Speaker 1: knees are farting every time they click. I'm like, yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 1: let's go with that. Yep, that's what you got from it.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I'm like, go ahead and tell some people. And every
- 42:59Speaker 1: time I'm like, man, I wish I had a boy,
- 43:01Speaker 1: and I'm just like, well, I got a get girl
- 43:03Speaker 1: that's talking about knee farts and stuff. I guess that's
- 43:06Speaker 1: so pretty cool.
- 43:08Speaker 3: And I will say from having boys and a girl, uh,
- 43:13Speaker 3: girls are more disgusting than the boys are. So yeah.
- 43:17Speaker 3: So a lot of people are always like, oh, man,
- 43:19Speaker 3: you know they got it out. I don't have any boys,
- 43:21Speaker 3: and I'm like, these my boys are nothing. You're better.
- 43:25Speaker 3: How filthy my daughter is. She is gross.
- 43:28Speaker 1: And they do it and I think it's because they
- 43:30Speaker 1: are not forced, but they bottle it all up. But
- 43:32Speaker 1: all during the day, you know what I mean, most
- 43:34Speaker 1: of them aren't ripping ass in school and this and that,
- 43:36Speaker 1: and then they come home and it's just like and
- 43:38Speaker 1: it's just like, you don't do that all day, do you?
- 43:40Speaker 3: No?
- 43:40Speaker 1: No, no, I say it for here, and it's like, oh, okay,
- 43:42Speaker 1: thank you. Yeah, that's that's probably a good thing for
- 43:45Speaker 1: you in your social status.
- 43:47Speaker 3: But they're so loud tooing She like, I know, I'm
- 43:51Speaker 3: glad that she's comfortable at home, but like I'm over there.
- 43:53Speaker 3: We're eating a meal and everything else, and you just
- 43:55Speaker 3: hear a tuba go off in the background. I'm like,
- 43:57Speaker 3: what the hell is that? And she said, there's like
- 44:00Speaker 3: like Beavis and butt Head.
- 44:02Speaker 1: It's yep, and it clears the room at least IRUs
- 44:05Speaker 1: in the house. It's just like ah. And then you're like,
- 44:10Speaker 1: that's what.
- 44:10Speaker 3: You don't need a DNA test. That's what you know.
- 44:12Speaker 1: They're yours and it's just speaking of things that you
- 44:16Speaker 1: don't need a DNA test for that stink. Brandon brought
- 44:19Speaker 1: up something on last week's episode for anybody that was listening,
- 44:24Speaker 1: We're gonna start doing a little segment here. Most of
- 44:27Speaker 1: us forgot, but we're gonna free flow with it. We
- 44:29Speaker 1: were we're gonna start looking for the oldest thing in
- 44:32Speaker 1: our fridges. And I know, I know you've been has
- 44:35Speaker 1: some notes. There was a Facebook comment. I can't find it,
- 44:39Speaker 1: so I thought it was YouTube. Still can't find it.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I know that I saw a comment out there, so
- 44:44Speaker 1: I do apologize where it is. But somebody said, hey,
- 44:49Speaker 1: I had fourteen year old something still in my fridge,
- 44:54Speaker 1: and I hope that they didn't use it. I think
- 44:56Speaker 1: it was a condiment. I almost think it was worsesheresher
- 44:59Speaker 1: shish Shire sauce. But I might be making that up
- 45:02Speaker 1: because I had to buy some for like the first
- 45:04Speaker 1: time in years yesterday. But I think that that was
- 45:08Speaker 1: the move. But I was looking around my fridge, and
- 45:10Speaker 1: I don't know, Brandon or if you want to kick
- 45:13Speaker 1: this off, since it was your idea, if you get
- 45:14Speaker 1: something that was old in your fridge that comes to mind, Well,
- 45:17Speaker 1: I think what's in my fridge?
- 45:18Speaker 2: I want to share. I'll share a story that'll kind
- 45:20Speaker 2: of give you a little help here. I remember being
- 45:23Speaker 2: Grandpa died when I was about fourteen on my dad's side,
- 45:26Speaker 2: and Grandma was still around, and so I would you
- 45:30Speaker 2: go over to her house. And she was a hard
- 45:32Speaker 2: wood woman. She was not going to go assisted living.
- 45:34Speaker 2: She was going to live in her house until she died,
- 45:36Speaker 2: and she did. But when I went over there, you
- 45:40Speaker 2: have to remember, these are children of the depression. They
- 45:42Speaker 2: were born in the twenties, and so they grew up
- 45:44Speaker 2: right in the heart of shit hitting the fan. They
- 45:47Speaker 2: came of age when it was like, uh, oh, happy
- 45:50Speaker 2: ninth birthday.
- 45:51Speaker 1: You're not getting one peanut butter and everything.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Yeah, so I mean talking about mixing like wood chips,
- 45:59Speaker 2: not chips. It would like shavings in your in your flower. Yeah,
- 46:04Speaker 2: to make your make your cakes and your and your
- 46:06Speaker 2: pancakes and your breads. Okay, she she kept everything. And
- 46:11Speaker 2: I remember taking a piece of toast. I was making
- 46:13Speaker 2: toast and I'd burnt it, and I took it to
- 46:14Speaker 2: the took the toast to the trash, took a knife,
- 46:17Speaker 2: and I don't you waste that toast, Grandma. It's black, burnt,
- 46:24Speaker 2: carbonized shavings. Like I'm just literally not gonna eat that,
- 46:27Speaker 2: she yelled at me. But I remember going into her
- 46:30Speaker 2: refrigerator and I found a jar of pickles that are,
- 46:33Speaker 2: you know, normally green, they turned orange orange. I had jelly,
- 46:38Speaker 2: grape jelly that had crystallized. Your Yeah, it crystallizes and
- 46:43Speaker 2: it gets gross. It's still sweet, but it's like the
- 46:45Speaker 2: sugar crystals literally are like glass yards. So you're like,
- 46:50Speaker 2: it's it's awful, it's good. Those are those are two
- 46:54Speaker 2: that I remember the most. I remember going downstairs and
- 46:56Speaker 2: finding old like the cans of food that were from
- 47:00Speaker 2: like ninety two and this was like two thousand and five,
- 47:02Speaker 2: and I'm like, Grandma, what the fuck? Yeah, But then
- 47:05Speaker 2: you hear stories from people who I remember hearing a
- 47:07Speaker 2: story from a couple of Marines who were saying, like, look,
- 47:09Speaker 2: you know, we were Vietnam. We were eating Mr East
- 47:12Speaker 2: from World War two. Still at sometimes it was like
- 47:15Speaker 2: dazus and we didn't die. Everything was fine. So who knows.
- 47:18Speaker 2: But the oldest thing I remember seeing in my life
- 47:20Speaker 2: was was that at Grandma's house. In my refridge right now,
- 47:26Speaker 2: I think the oldest piece of food we my wife
- 47:28Speaker 2: generally cleans out stuff. So do you I tell you
- 47:31Speaker 2: about the uh I told you about this last time,
- 47:33Speaker 2: right the lunchibles that we have in our fridge, they
- 47:36Speaker 2: like Jake Paul or whatever it is Logan Paul, Lunch
- 47:39Speaker 2: of Thiss. I have one in there. Of the nachos,
- 47:42Speaker 2: I haven't opened yet, and I can only imagine I'll
- 47:44Speaker 2: bring them next week on the show to see what
- 47:45Speaker 2: they look like, because they're still in there, haven't been opened.
- 47:48Speaker 1: We had the youngest was like, I need a snack
- 47:52Speaker 1: and I have a lunch BOWL'M like yeah, whatever. I'm
- 47:54Speaker 1: like kind of looked at the wife. I'm like, didn't
- 47:56Speaker 1: she eat all the lunchables because we try to buy them,
- 47:58Speaker 1: you know, like four or five depending on what the
- 47:59Speaker 1: days of lunches, because you know, hey, it's free lunches
- 48:01Speaker 1: still at your school. Maybe you should just do that,
- 48:03Speaker 1: same as the money. But either way, so she opens it,
- 48:06Speaker 1: I don't think it's good anymore. I'm like, what do
- 48:09Speaker 1: you mean it's not good anymore. Apparently there was a
- 48:11Speaker 1: hidden one behind it, and I don't know it was
- 48:15Speaker 1: twenty twenty three or four. What are we in? It
- 48:19Speaker 1: was old to the point where it had like crystals
- 48:21Speaker 1: all over it, but if you just looked at it,
- 48:23Speaker 1: there wasn't the ice crystals. This is how gross this
- 48:25Speaker 1: food really is. The turkey, the cheese, and the crackers
- 48:29Speaker 1: and the butterfinger bar all obviously the butterfingers and wrapper together.
- 48:32Speaker 1: We didn't look. There was no mold, there was no nothing.
- 48:35Speaker 1: It was just fully crystallized. And I'm like, don't eat that, kid, Yeah,
- 48:40Speaker 1: don't eat that. That's my that's my old food of
- 48:43Speaker 1: the week.
- 48:45Speaker 3: So mine wasn't in my fridge. It was above my fridge,
- 48:48Speaker 3: So I will I won't count this. But we have
- 48:52Speaker 3: like bingo prizes and stuff like that. We played bingo
- 48:55Speaker 3: a lot, and so while we were getting ready for Thanksgiving,
- 48:58Speaker 3: we had they're getting some of these Mingo prices out
- 49:01Speaker 3: and I'm like, oh, hey, there's still some these dollar
- 49:03Speaker 3: toys in there and stuff. I found a box of
- 49:06Speaker 3: Reese's Pieces and I go, oh shit, did we recently
- 49:10Speaker 3: get this? And I look, twenty twenty two is what
- 49:13Speaker 3: it expired, and so that means we probably purchased it
- 49:16Speaker 3: in twenty twenty one, in nineteen maybe, So I was like, oh,
- 49:21Speaker 3: I was like, how long has this been up here?
- 49:23Speaker 3: And and of course my daughter, being the terrible person
- 49:26Speaker 3: she is, she's like, we're gonna try it. Then I'm like, well, yeah,
- 49:29Speaker 3: we're gonna try and see if it's how terrible it tastes.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Due and my wife and the were going, no, you're not. No,
- 49:34Speaker 3: She's like, it's not even in a plastic it's just
- 49:35Speaker 3: sitting in that box, guys. No.
- 49:38Speaker 2: And it was in the fridge.
- 49:40Speaker 3: It was above the fuckage it about the fridge. No, no,
- 49:44Speaker 3: you're good. So but I was I just shaking it
- 49:47Speaker 3: and everything else, and I open it up and I'm
- 49:49Speaker 3: already dumbing it. She's like you're not gonna I'm like
- 49:52Speaker 3: throw something to my daughter and we're like, you can
- 49:54Speaker 3: definitely tell it's stale, Yeah, for sure, but not bad.
- 49:57Speaker 3: We haven't finished the whole box away. My grandma would
- 50:00Speaker 3: be upset to Brandon, like.
- 50:04Speaker 1: It's funny because we have a candy bowl above when
- 50:06Speaker 1: we put it on our fridge too, and it's usually
- 50:08Speaker 1: like leftover parade candy, the stuff from the stocking, stuff
- 50:11Speaker 1: like that. But we decided the top of the fridge
- 50:15Speaker 1: ended up being a collect all for like chips and
- 50:18Speaker 1: all this stuff. And recently I was like, I can't
- 50:21Speaker 1: stand this anymore. We had a whole cupboard that was
- 50:23Speaker 1: like wineglasses and stuff, and I'm like, shit, I don't
- 50:25Speaker 1: know the last time I drank wine. So we got
- 50:27Speaker 1: rid of those boom snack cupboard. So I'm going through, Oh,
- 50:30Speaker 1: these chips are super old. It was almost a garbage
- 50:33Speaker 1: bag full of shit, and I'm like, I'm glad we
- 50:35Speaker 1: got these, Glad we got these. So I look at
- 50:37Speaker 1: this candy bowl and I'm like and it got to
- 50:39Speaker 1: the point I turned it over. I was like, I'm
- 50:40Speaker 1: just getting rid of it all and nothing came out.
- 50:42Speaker 1: It like flipped over and all of the shit was stuck,
- 50:44Speaker 1: and I'm like, what the hell's I'm going in there?
- 50:47Speaker 1: It's just sticky and nasty. I'm like, summer bitch. So
- 50:50Speaker 1: I get rid of it all and I'm like, no
- 50:52Speaker 1: more candy bowl. But I look over because they, i mean,
- 50:54Speaker 1: obviously they do a summer parade around here. They did
- 50:57Speaker 1: a Christmas holiday parade around here, and this b and
- 51:00Speaker 1: I'm like, we yes, so much goddamn candy, and they
- 51:03Speaker 1: did all their swapping. Then it just sits. It's like
- 51:05Speaker 1: nobody really eats candy in the house, but we have it.
- 51:08Speaker 1: So if anybody wants some donated candy, let us know.
- 51:13Speaker 1: We we'll ship it to humans, like I'll give you
- 51:16Speaker 1: my address right now.
- 51:19Speaker 3: We have like our homecoming parades and stuff like that too,
- 51:21Speaker 3: so you have all that candy, and then it's the
- 51:23Speaker 3: Halloween and you know, it's just parade after parade. It's
- 51:26Speaker 3: the same thing. We have, like this collection pod of
- 51:29Speaker 3: a whole bunch of Tootsie rolls of the candy that
- 51:31Speaker 3: people don't eat. So I'm like, hey, can we throw
- 51:33Speaker 3: this away? No, I'm probably gonna eat that, and then
- 51:36Speaker 3: it just one day. It's just not there anymore. It's
- 51:38Speaker 3: the same thing, just the whole thing away. I'm like, go, like,
- 51:40Speaker 3: what happened. I'm like, oh, something spilled all over it.
- 51:43Speaker 3: All the candy got ruined. Terrible.
- 51:45Speaker 1: That's what we're gonna do. We're gonna we're gonna start
- 51:47Speaker 1: taking all of our older, still edible, non eating candy
- 51:52Speaker 1: and we'll start raffling it off for free to some
- 51:55Speaker 1: of the listeners. All you have to do is we'll
- 51:57Speaker 1: come up with something. We'll come up with a good thing,
- 51:59Speaker 1: and then we'll go to like and we'll just give
- 52:02Speaker 1: you a bag of candy so we can get rid
- 52:04Speaker 1: of it. We'll do a raffle.
- 52:06Speaker 3: I forgot at five below. Did you guys remember there
- 52:08Speaker 3: was U Fruity's candy. It was like the tutsi roll,
- 52:12Speaker 3: but it was like the red kind, the blue kind.
- 52:14Speaker 3: Not they not the actual not the damn.
- 52:17Speaker 1: It, not like the new vanillas or whatever, not those kind.
- 52:21Speaker 3: These ones are called Fruities. They're thinner. I'm trying to
- 52:23Speaker 3: think they're also made by tutsi Roll, But it's not
- 52:26Speaker 3: the ones that you guys are thinking of, Not the orange,
- 52:28Speaker 3: green and the vanilla, where the blue wrapper was vanilla.
- 52:31Speaker 3: This one, the blue one was blue, the red one
- 52:33Speaker 3: was red.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, fr o t I e s fruities.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I love these people there used to have
- 52:41Speaker 3: like a grocery store here that would sound for like
- 52:42Speaker 3: a penny a piece, dude, like they was back in
- 52:45Speaker 3: the day, you know.
- 52:46Speaker 1: And we walked up back.
- 52:48Speaker 3: But I saw a whole bit of those and I've
- 52:50Speaker 3: been looking for these candies since Halloween. Someone gave some
- 52:53Speaker 3: of them out and I'm like, oh, dad tacks, these
- 52:55Speaker 3: are mine. I was like, I love these. And I
- 52:58Speaker 3: see a whole bin and they go ten for a
- 53:01Speaker 3: dollar and I was like, shut the fuck. And so Max,
- 53:04Speaker 3: my daughter is like, are you getting something about your hand?
- 53:06Speaker 3: She goes, I'm thinking about it. I was like, let
- 53:08Speaker 3: me know, because I will wait in line to get
- 53:11Speaker 3: some of this candy. I was like, just you just
- 53:13Speaker 3: let me know. And so finally she had something in
- 53:15Speaker 3: her hand and I'm like, I just ran over here.
- 53:18Speaker 3: I got forty pieces of this candy. They only had
- 53:21Speaker 3: two flavors, they like a raspberry and a blue raspberry.
- 53:26Speaker 1: Go totutsied dot com. You will thank me later. You
- 53:30Speaker 1: can get three hundred and sixty count bag for twelve
- 53:33Speaker 1: forty nine.
- 53:35Speaker 3: See I saw that. Is that a good deal? That's
- 53:37Speaker 3: kind of be a good deal now now after I
- 53:38Speaker 3: spend ten for a dollar, Yeah, I.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Mean it's thirty eight point eight ounces.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Where's your closest minards?
- 53:45Speaker 3: We had like thirty minutes away, but like ten minutes
- 53:47Speaker 3: away from where I work, he says.
- 53:48Speaker 2: On one of these nerds, Minard sells him for nine
- 53:51Speaker 2: to ninety nine for a forty five ounces, which is
- 53:54Speaker 2: four hundred pieces.

- 54:02Speaker 3: never mind, Yeah, you just do. Yeah, you guys, carry on.
