  for 25 years and did all that. And I used to go up and do

  missionary work with him with the Apaches, Arizona.

  But grandfather was a pastor for 75 years.

  So you know, I grew up in a Christian home and live.

  My wife's father is a Baptist pastor.

  So I was like, we are pkc though.

  Preachers kids married each other.

  So I always refer to myself as a the real prodigal son.

  Because I mean I went out and the Lord, let me do everything.

  Maybe did let me but allowed it, you know, and then just started

  reeling me back in, you know saying, you know.

  Let's bring you back to where you belong and you know when you

  get out there and you realize that you had every car, you had

  every house or that all that you realize that that's not the

  answer. That there's a great big nothing

  out there at the end of that sort of materialism, doesn't

  mean anything, you know, and a lot of people say that there's a

  there's a big god-shaped hole in your heart.

  And you know when that's filled and you really are satisfied, I

  think that's where I'm at right now.

  And I'm very young in the faith even though I grew up and I saw,

  I mean, either do a lot of studies.

  A lot of Bible study things like that.

  After about two weeks Sherilyn gone, she'd gone to Chicago and

  said I can't watch this right but the cocaine was speaking a

  lot louder than her and finally I looked in the mirror and it

  looked like my makeup but it was blood coming down.

  I think I might have been hallucinating.

  I don't know. Flush the rock down the toilet.

  And went to bed for three days and I woke up and I called her

  and I said it's done. And she goes right.

  You know, she's a you have to prove it and that was, you know,

  that was the beginning of our relationship coming back course.

  One of the deals was we start going to church?

  And we started going to North Phoenix Baptist.

  And there was a pastor there Jackson who was a hell's fire
• 2:21
  pastor and he there's 6,000 people and he was talking to me.

  Because I was a prodigal son. Number.

  I grew up in the church. My dad was a pastor.

  My granddad was a evangelist and when the when the band happened,
• 2:35
  it took me as far away. As you could possibly, I was the
• 2:37
  poster boy for everything wrong, and then when I got sober and
• 2:42
  everything came back to the church, realizing that's where I
• 2:45
  belong there. So, we started going to and, you
• 2:49
  know, a lot of people say, you know, I came to Christ because
• 2:52
  my love of Jesus. I came to Christ because of my
• 2:55
  fear of God, I totally understood that he'll was not
• 2:59
  getting high with Jim Morrison. Hell was going to be the worst
• 3:03
  place ever. In fear, I came back to the
• 3:07
  Lord, but I went to another church and that pastor preached,
• 3:13
  the love of Christ, which now you put the two together and it
• 3:17
  was exactly right. Yes.

  Well, you know, the Bible even says some save B beer, you know,
• 3:22
  and there's a point where some people need the hell scared on.
• 3:24
  I'm telling you, I wish I had, because I knew if I died and I
• 3:29
  knew, in other words, I knew who Christ was Jesus Christ was, and
• 3:33
  I was denying him. Because I was living my own life
• 3:37
  and I was living my life without him.
• 3:39
  I knew that there had to either come a point where I either
• 3:41
  accepted crisis, started Living that life or if I died in this,
• 3:46
  I was in a lot of trouble, and that's what really motivated me.

  What does that mean? When you say accepted Christ,
• 3:52
  what does it mean to accept? Well, you know, I don't think we
• 3:54
  accept Christ. I think we accept the fact that
• 3:58
  he accepted us, you know? And I just got to a point of
• 4:02
  saying I'm tired of this life. And I know that this is right
• 4:07
  there, when people say, well how do you know that put that in a
• 4:10
  words that I know you can't put that into words, it's because
• 4:13
  God opens your eyes and he says, you know, it's supernatural and
• 4:19
  you try to tell that to people and they go.

  Well yeah but so is voodoo and so is this lingo?

  No, you don't understand and I could never explain it to you

  but when when the Lord opens your eyes and you suddenly
• 4:29
  realize who you are and who he is, Oh it's a whole different

  world you know and right then you know I was baptized and I

  went to my pastor and I said I think I got a quit being Alice

  Cooper now and he goes really. He says is you think God makes

  mistakes? I don't know, he says, look we

  put you, he puts you in. He said he put you in the exact

  Camp of the Philistines and you We're basically the leader.

  So now, what if you're Alice Cooper but what if you're now

  following Christ and you're a rock star but you don't live the

  rock star life, your lifestyle is now your testimony and that

  made total sense to me. Once you realize that That Alice

  Christianity is basically your one, your one-on-one

  And so, if you're a disciple of Jesus, you read you, you absorb

  anywhere in there that I can't be a performer, doesn't say

  anything in there that I can't, you know, be an artist, you

  know, I always questioned people when especially the extremists.

  It's always extremists think that caused the trouble.

  So, you know, I said, would it be okay if I played Shakespeare

  in there that's going to apply to you in a modern-day.

  wasn't a Christian, I was going to assure sleep with anybody,

  you know. No, I don't believe that.

  Now, you know, I think there's a moral core that we're missing a

  lot of guys think. Oh, just another religion.

  Yeah, okay. Well, the last thing you want is

  religion in your life. What you want is Christ in your

  life? You don't want religion in your

  life. I think people judge Christians

  by other Christians. Yes.

  And immediately, they think, well, you're Christian.

  So, you can't do any wrong and you're better than me.

  Yeah, and when you become Christian, you become very aware

  of how far. What you are but again you know

  God. Even Christians have a hard time

  they want to give up is the fact that I want to make my decisions

  I mean everything is for you as yourself is is this guy and we

  But he says he's no longer an atheist and I've been talking to

  the region atheist off darn for the last couple of years and I

  have Theories. On why it is that a lot of this

  is change in. I've been noticing a lot of
• 11:39
  atheists who have renounced atheism and have become theist
• 11:44
  now, not all of them are becoming Christian.
• 11:47
  They're not all, you know, jumping on the Jesus train or
• 11:50
  anything, but they're believing in a higher power, there
• 11:53
  believing that there's more to the universe and what there is.
• 11:57
  And as far as I'm concerned, that's progress, you know, just
• 12:01
  the fact that they're open-minded to the out of God,
• 12:05
  just because they're saying, look, there is more to this,
• 12:09
  they can feel the vibe, they can feel that there's actually some
• 12:13
  kind of spirituality going on in them.
• 12:16
  And I also think it's not just that, but it's also a matter of
• 12:20
  maturity and it's experience. Now, when raging atheist was
• 12:26
  describing some of the things that was going on with them, he
• 12:29
  discovered the same thing. A lot of religious people have
• 12:32
  trouble with, and it's trying to Express or articulate an
• 12:37
  experience that you've had that moved.

  You or did something or change the way you thought about
• 12:43
  things, it's extremely hard to share a personal experience with
• 12:47
  other people. Especially total strangers on
• 12:49
  the internet and expect them to understand in any kind of way.

  Now. One of the things about it.

  Just taking a drink. Is he's always been an open
• 13:07
  minded guy. He's always been willing to talk
• 13:12
  and listen as where there's a lot of atheists out there that
• 13:16
  are young, especially on the internet, you'll notice a lot of
• 13:19
  them are very young and many of them when you watch their
• 13:22
  videos, they don't even take care of themself.
• 13:25
  It's like they couldn't even be bothered to brush your hair.
• 13:28
  A lot of them are overweight. A lot of them.
• 13:31
  You can tell I've never been through high school but they
• 13:33
  have this narcissistic view that Because they're an atheist that
• 13:37
  somehow qualifies them as being more intelligent than everybody
• 13:41
  else. I don't know if many of you have
• 13:44
  noticed that and a lot of them also suffer from a history onic
• 13:47
  disorder, which means that the go to the extreme in order to
• 13:51
  get attention and to them. Even if it's negative attention,
• 13:54
  at least it's something they don't have to feel irrelevant or
• 13:57
  alone and their process, but whether you're a narcissistic
• 14:03
  young atheist who thinks he's smarter than his parents.
• 14:06
  Other than the church, they used to go to or smarter than
• 14:09
  everybody on the planet even smarter than most of the
• 14:12
  scientists, which I've actually encountered atheist out there
• 14:16
  who didn't even make it through high school, but somehow would
• 14:20
  discredit or invalidate a scientist claimed, if it didn't
• 14:23
  agree with their own views, I think what we're seeing here,
• 14:28
  ladies and gentlemen, is a is what you'll notice on YouTube
• 14:33
  I've been around for almost 20 years now.

  Is that a lot of these young atheists they end up growing up?
• 14:39
  I can't tell you how many times on Facebook as well as in social
• 14:43
  media. A lot of times on YouTube and
• 14:46
  Twitter where someone who used to watch me whenever they were a
• 14:50
  young atheist, they end up going up.
• 14:53
  They end up growing up their life goes through changes.
• 14:56
  They learn what it's like to pay bills, have their own home, they
• 15:01
  end up eventually sometimes with a spouse, a wife, or a
• 15:05
  girlfriend or by Versa, and they become an adult.
• 15:10
  And when you become an adult things, start mattering to you,
• 15:13
  that didn't seem to matter before.
• 15:16
  Like you start thinking about life, and what it's going to be.
• 15:19
  Like when you die, you start putting value or another people
• 15:23
  and value on life. When you're a kid.
• 15:27
  You don't really think about things like that.
• 15:29
  You don't think about immortality or your mortality.

  It's not until you've been to a couple Roles where you see
• 15:37
  people that you love and care about, where you're absolutely
• 15:40
  shocked that they that you lost this person and that you'll
• 15:43
  never interact with them. Again, of course, unless you're
• 15:47
  a religious person or spiritual person, you believe that one
• 15:50
  day, you'll be with that same person and the afterlife.

  But not for atheist and you just start growing up.
• 15:59
  You start getting people start stepping on your toes.

  People start shitting and front of you.

  People spit in your face. You start realizing that.

  You're not all that. It you're not the most important

  thing in the world than that. Everything you have to say is

  the most intellectual and it gets to a point where you get

  tired of lying to yourself and you start looking at the
• 16:26
  universe and going down. There's a lot of crazy shit

  going on out here and they can't just be random Arkansas, be
• 16:33
  accident, there's got to be more to it and especially spending so
• 16:38
  much time. There's a lot of atheists like
• 16:40
  raging atheist. He spent a great deal of time
• 16:42
  with Jewish people. Indians Christians, people of
• 16:47
  all different faiths and sooner or later you start really even
• 16:52
  if you don't think about it at the moment.

  You start thinking about it, especially whenever you're going
• 16:58
  through pain and the Raging atheist, he knows full, well, he
• 17:02
  has suffered more pain than a person should deal with.

  And on top of it, he's trying to be a father and trying to take
• 17:10
  care of a little girl and that, I'll tell you what, even if you
• 17:16
  weren't having health issues, even if you weren't having a lot
• 17:19
  of pain, when you bring a child into the world, it's hard for
• 17:24
  even an atheist. To bring a child into the world
• 17:27
  and not say to themself she or he is beautiful.

  This is a miracle. I don't believe that this is
• 17:34
  just some kind of like, You know, just some kind of natural
• 17:39
  thing. The love that you feel for your
• 17:42
  child or your partner and all that transcends, all the
• 17:45
  bullshit that's on this planet. Ladies and gentlemen, it can
• 17:49
  really really wake a person up quick and I'll have to admit.

  That was one of the things that got me whenever I was a young
• 17:56
  man and being skeptical and being an atheist, it was finding
• 18:01
  the woman that I love and care about wanting to spend the rest
• 18:04
  of my life, what there? And then having a Child what
• 18:08
  they're bringing a life into the world, seeing that woman laying
• 18:11
  up in a hospital bed, holding my baby and her hands.

  Just the whole, it was weird. It was like suddenly it was
• 18:22
  raining joy and Bliss and the only place I could imagine the
• 18:27
  joy and Bliss Would Rain from as a place like heaven.

  The kind of thoughts that go through your head as you are
• 18:36
  walking down a dark Road. Seeking to find your
• 18:39
  destination. And then finally there's a
• 18:42
  moment where you see light at the end of the tunnel and you
• 18:46
  simply say to yourself, I've lived in the darkness long
• 18:49
  enough and now I see some light you.
• 18:53
  I continue to walk towards lighter, do I continue to
• 18:56
  stumble around in the darkness and so on.

  AW different whenever all the sudden, you find yourself on
• 19:03
  that dark road, heading towards light and now you have a wife or
• 19:07
  a girlfriend or a child as with you, you start thinking what is
• 19:12
  the best route for me? Do I continue to stumble around
• 19:15
  in the dark with my child or do I seek out something better for
• 19:21
  my kid or my wife from a girlfriend and whoever the
• 19:25
  person is that you put value in in love, Well.

  I think there's a lot of things going on.

  In Raging, I can't call him raging atheists anymore.

  I just guess I'll call him Ronnie because I don't know what
• 19:41
  to call him at this point. He simply says he believes in a
• 19:44
  higher power. He did say, he had a Jesus
• 19:47
  moment, but I know Ronnie long enough to know that sometimes he
• 19:52
  likes to be expressive on that. I think that he's going to be
• 19:57
  having a tough time because unfortunately when there's a lot
• 20:01
  of people walking around in darkness, they would like
• 20:04
  someone to stay with them that they respect and admire that way
• 20:07
  they can feel validated in their stupidity or their Darkness.

  So I have a feeling it's going to be a lot of people who are
• 20:13
  going to try to continue to dragging back into whatever,
• 20:17
  they think they have. But the truth is when we really
• 20:22
  evaluate this and really put an awl Alice us on it, atheism
• 20:27
  offers nothing, it doesn't, it doesn't do anything for your
• 20:31
  wife or your girlfriend atheism, doesn't help with your children.
• 20:37
  It doesn't help you with dealing with death or life.
• 20:41
  It doesn't help you find meaning and purpose in your existence,
• 20:45
  it doesn't help you pay the bills unless you're one of these
• 20:47
  big-time YouTube atheist, you got lucky enough to be featured
• 20:51
  or called himself a liberal and got held up by Google to be able
• 20:56
  to make a little bit of bread off of just simply screaming.
• 20:59
  There is no God all day. If you're not one of those
• 21:02
  people, if you don't fit into the elite liberal Community,
• 21:08
  then you get nothing, you just an atheist, who's repeating the
• 21:12
  same thing and probably even better than the ones getting
• 21:14
  paid, but you're not getting any kind of reward or benefit out of
• 21:18
  it. It's not helping you in the
• 21:20
  materialistic world and it sure as hell ain't buying diapers and
• 21:23
  milk for your kid. So I'm happy.

  I am pleased. I will say this.

  I do believe that he's going to have his moments.

  I know that whenever I walked away from atheism, it wasn't so
• 21:40
  simple. I felt like I was literally
• 21:42
  being ripped away from something.

  I felt like, is this going to hurt me intellectually, or

  people going to think I'm stupid?

  All this kind of shit because I spent so many years, you know,
• 21:53
  blasting about house Stupid things are outside of atheism
• 21:59
  and I was right. Of course, I did get blasted.

  I did get dumped Arne. I did end up losing what I
• 22:07
  thought to be connections as well as relationships with
• 22:10
  people because now I didn't agree with them.

  And I didn't share the same view and I wasn't preaching.

  The being a mouthpiece for the shed anymore.

  But the closer the more you start finding yourself in the
• 22:26
  light and the more, the light starts to consume you and the
• 22:31
  more you feel like someone is there and watching you and
• 22:34
  actually cares about your well-being, you start making
• 22:37
  better decisions in your life. I know a lot of non-believers
• 22:41
  out there, they seem to think, well, I don't need a Bible, I
• 22:44
  don't need, you know, a preacher.
• 22:46
  Someone telling me this or that in order for me to survive or do
• 22:50
  good in this world. Oh, is that so does anybody
• 22:54
  actually know anybody in the world that just woke up one day
• 22:57
  and and had it all figured out? No nobody ever does whether
• 23:02
  you're atheist or religious, we all go through struggles, we're
• 23:06
  all trying to figure out what works for us.

  What benefits us, what? What is going to be good for us
• 23:12
  in the end? And I'll tell you if you want to
• 23:16
  be a successful person, if you want to be happy, you have to
• 23:20
  learn how to be open-minded towards other people.

  Folks need to learn how to love each other.

  Whether you agree with another person or not, unless that
• 23:30
  person is literally causing physical harm to you.
• 23:34
  Our spiritual pain you should try your best.
• 23:38
  Love them and I'm not talking about just going out of your way
• 23:41
  to try to save them or so. Seeds of God but one way you can
• 23:46
  get atheists to listen as if you actually are sincere and caring
• 23:50
  about them as a person. I think a lot of religious
• 23:53
  people have lost that where you want to debate and argue with
• 23:57
  people but you don't want to know anything about the person
• 24:01
  when you're talking to an atheist, ask them what they do,
• 24:04
  for fun, ask them what it is. Some of the struggles they've
• 24:09
  been through. Ask them about some of the
• 24:11
  things they've learned a lot. To them.

  Like you really want to get to know them like you really care
• 24:17
  about where they're coming from when I'm talking to people.
• 24:21
  I honestly care and I like to hear about other people's life,
• 24:25
  I like to know where they're coming from.
• 24:27
  And if they do happen to find faith and they happen to find
• 24:30
  God, I like to know what the spark was that set them off.
• 24:34
  I like to know what got them thinking, or what was happening
• 24:38
  before, they had their experience and what was
• 24:40
  happening during their experience.

  I to get to know, not only the person, and I don't just go out
• 24:47
  of my way to save the soul, but I want to know who the person is
• 24:51
  that. I'm talking to Once people
• 24:55
  realize that that's how you are as a person that you actually
• 24:59
  care and that you love them, they'd be willing to talk to you
