  - I'm your host. And I'd like to start

  - today

  - with what happens when fear sounds louder than
• 1:28
  - faith.
• 1:29
  - You know, we all have
• 1:31
  - fears,
• 1:33
  - and there is a healthy fear that can
• 1:35
  - protect us and keep us safe.
• 1:38
  - And then there's the irrational
• 1:41
  - fear that
• 1:43
  - says,
• 1:44
  - let's not do that. There's a monster around
• 1:46
  - the corner.
• 1:49
  - It's as if fear has a way of
• 1:51
  - disguising itself as wisdom.
• 1:54
  - It tells us to stay safe
• 1:56
  - avoid risk and assume the worst
• 2:00
  - but the truth of the matter is
• 2:02
  - that although we have fear
• 2:04
  - God tells us pursue anyway
• 2:07
  - and to be courageous
• 2:10
  - Whether it was
• 2:12
  - Moses leading the children of Israel out of
• 2:15
  - Egypt
• 2:16
  - or
• 2:16
  - Jesus telling his disciples
• 2:19
  - the outcome of what was gonna happen after
• 2:21
  - he went back to the father
• 2:23
  - God always reminds us that regardless of what
• 2:26
  - we're facing
• 2:29
  - don't ignore the fear,
• 2:31
  - but overcome the fear with courage
• 2:36
  - The challenge is that fear can become so
• 2:38
  - loud that we mistake it for God's guidance
• 2:42
  - So the next time
• 2:44
  - you're dealing with fear,
• 2:47
  - ask yourself:
• 2:50
  - is it something that seems irrational,
• 2:53
  - telling us to avoid risk or assume the
• 2:55
  - worst?
• 2:56
  - Or is it an opportunity

  - to use our courage and walk
• 3:03
  - into something greater.

  - That being said,

  - let's pray.

  - Father God, sometimes fear speaks louder than faith.

  - It magnifies uncertainty
• 3:17
  - and causes us to question
• 3:19
  - what You have already spoken
• 3:22
  - Help us to discern the difference between Fear's
• 3:25
  - voice and Your voice
• 3:27
  - Strengthen our confidence in Your promises
• 3:30
  - and remind us that you have not given
• 3:33
  - us a spirit of fear, but of love,
• 3:36
  - power, and a sound mind.
• 3:39
  - Let faith rise above every anxious thought
• 3:43
  - and action,
• 3:44
  - and we will bless you in Jesus' name.
