- 0:01Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 0:08Speaker 2: From NewsRadio 570 WKBN, I'm Ron Verb. Just incredible, this
- 0:14Speaker 2: story that is coming out about this airline that you've
- 0:19Speaker 2: heard about. Fly to Dubai pilots. Stabs fellow pilot. Attempts
- 0:26Speaker 2: to crash plane. Netanyahu says.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I mean, when you listen to this story.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Let's see, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that
- 0:36Speaker 2: a pilot aboard the Israeli-bound fly Dubai flight stabbed another
- 0:42Speaker 2: pilot and apparently tried to crash a plane with everyone
- 0:47Speaker 2: on board. Let's see, the Israel Defense Minister said the
- 0:53Speaker 2: incident aboard the Israeli-bound flight was an attempted jihadist terrorist attack.
- 1:01Speaker 2: And so the airline confirmed that an altercation occurred on
- 1:03Speaker 2: the flight deck in the cockpit, if you will, of
- 1:07Speaker 2: its Israeli-bound flights before the aircraft diverted to Saudi Arabia.
- 1:13Speaker 2: While cautioning it, the reason and motives behind the incident
- 1:15Speaker 2: remain unknown. Let's see, what else? The attacker aboard the
- 1:25Speaker 2: Dubai flight has been taken into custody. Officials said the
- 1:29Speaker 2: attacker was taken into custody when a flight landed in
- 1:31Speaker 2: Saudi Arabia.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Let's see. So there's a lot going on here.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Benjamin Netanyahu told Rutgers that the suspect was arrested after
- 1:45Speaker 2: a plane made an emergency landing. Well, an Israeli official
- 1:49Speaker 2: speaking to the outlet identified the co-pilot as an Omani national.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Did I say that right?
- 1:56Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:01Speaker 2: My salutes to the Indian pilots, Captain Smith's Makachar for
- 2:08Speaker 2: his extraordinary bravery is what Benjamin says. Despite being stabbed
- 2:15Speaker 2: and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit
- 2:20Speaker 2: door and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker,
- 2:25Speaker 2: preventing a catastrophic midair, obviously crash, right? I mean, uh,
- 2:30Speaker 2: Mid-air disaster because, I mean, it was just going. I mean,
- 2:35Speaker 2: it was just the thought of it is just is
- 2:39Speaker 2: just troubling. He saved the lives of 174 people, including
- 2:44Speaker 2: Israeli citizens and other nationals. He's a true hero, which
- 2:50Speaker 2: I would say that's 100 percent accurate. So there you
- 2:54Speaker 2: have that. I'm just going through some of the stories.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Democrat congressman calls the flight attack a clear act of terrorism.
- 3:05Speaker 3: How could it not be? How could it not be?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Israeli officials said the co-pilot stabbed the pilots and tried
- 3:18Speaker 2: to crash the aircraft before passengers subdued him. Can you
- 3:22Speaker 2: imagine this? Can you imagine the living hell you're going through?
- 3:29Speaker 2: I mean, so this guy's.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I mean, you have.
- 3:34Speaker 2: The two pilots and one of the pilots is committing
- 3:37Speaker 2: this terrorist attack. His real official said the co-pilot stabbed
- 3:44Speaker 2: the pilot and tried to crash the aircraft before passengers
- 3:47Speaker 2: subdued him. The plane landed safely. I mean, that's a
- 3:55Speaker 2: hell of a pilot. That's a hell of a pilot.
- 4:09Speaker 2: It's just something. Let's see. They got Netanyahu meeting with
- 4:17Speaker 2: a passenger who stormed the cockpit. Just a lot of,
- 4:25Speaker 2: I mean, it's just so weird. It's just so weird
- 4:29Speaker 2: when you go through some of the things in this
- 4:32Speaker 2: breaking story this afternoon it's I mean you know suddenly
- 4:39Speaker 2: you're on this plane and it's plunging down what 14,000
- 4:43Speaker 2: feet and knowing what was going on boy if it
- 4:51Speaker 2: wasn't for the the pilots I don't know it's just
- 4:57Speaker 2: a it's just a hell of a story it's just
- 5:00Speaker 2: a hell of a story you're on the air.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Hey, Ron.
- 5:04Speaker 6: How you doing?
- 5:05Speaker 7: Good.
- 5:06Speaker 8: I hadn't called in a while, but I called because
- 5:09Speaker 8: this story is harrowing. I mean, man, I hate flying
- 5:13Speaker 8: as it is, and you see these type of things,
- 5:16Speaker 8: and I can't imagine. I saw some of the interviews,
- 5:20Speaker 8: and I guess this happened before, but I'll tell you what.
- 5:23Speaker 8: I wouldn't be able to talk to a camera after it.
- 5:26Speaker 6: After that happened.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I mean, can you imagine?
- 5:29Speaker 2: I mean, obviously, when this fight is going on and
- 5:31Speaker 2: a plane is just going boom, right? You know, dropping
- 5:35Speaker 2: at 14,000 feet.
- 5:37Speaker 3: I mean, I can't even imagine.
- 5:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:47Speaker 8: Just as far as, you know, how they're going to
- 5:51Speaker 8: go about reporting it.
- 5:53Speaker 10: I mean, it's just.
- 5:54Speaker 8: I mean, it would seem unlikely that a pilot, an
- 5:57Speaker 8: international pilot, would have, would it be like some kind
- 6:00Speaker 8: of terrorist, like, sleeper that had been there for a
- 6:03Speaker 8: long time? Like, you'd think that would be almost, like,
- 6:07Speaker 8: that seems unlikely.
- 6:08Speaker 6: But you don't know. I don't know.
- 6:09Speaker 8: Obviously, he was deranged, but, you know, what his motivations
- 6:13Speaker 8: were is what we're going to, everybody wants to know.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Or is it obvious?
- 6:18Speaker 2: I mean, when Netanyahu says it was a jihadist attack,
- 6:21Speaker 2: was it exactly as what it appears to be?
- 6:25Speaker 8: Well, you know, a lot of people dislike him so
- 6:28Speaker 8: bad that they're going to say, well, he's just, you know,
- 6:30Speaker 8: it's a false flag. He's just saying that to gain
- 6:33Speaker 8: support for Israel. You know what I'm saying?
- 6:36Speaker 2: I don't think that. I have a tendency to believe
- 6:40Speaker 2: what he says. I think it is what it appears
- 6:42Speaker 2: to be.
- 6:45Speaker 6: I do, too.
- 6:45Speaker 8: But there's going to be people that are going to
- 6:48Speaker 8: say that, you know, somehow he orchestrated it. I guarantee you.
- 6:54Speaker 2: That's ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. I mean, it goes to show
- 6:59Speaker 2: you the pilot was Indian. And think about, like you say,
- 7:04Speaker 2: there's a heroic pilot. I mean, to be able to
- 7:07Speaker 2: get what stabbed and to be able to fight back
- 7:13Speaker 2: and get the cockpit door open and get people in
- 7:18Speaker 2: there that were able to seduce the guy and then.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Now, on Clay and Buck, they were saying there was
- 7:24Speaker 3: another pilot on the plane, too.
- 7:25Speaker 2: A lot of times, I guess they're flying from one
- 7:27Speaker 2: place to the other. So I don't know who it was.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Go ahead. Maybe you know more than I do.
- 7:32Speaker 8: Well, what they had said is that there was a
- 7:33Speaker 8: pilot in the rear of the plane. There was, like,
- 7:35Speaker 8: an auxiliary, okay, is what they were saying, and that, like,
- 7:40Speaker 8: he had to come up and land the plane because
- 7:42Speaker 8: the guy that went berserk was subdued, and the other
- 7:46Speaker 8: guy couldn't.
- 7:47Speaker 4: He was stabbed.
- 7:47Speaker 6: He was bleeding out.
- 7:48Speaker 11: Right.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:50Speaker 8: I mean, he could not operate a plane.
- 7:52Speaker 2: A lot of times, even when you fly a plane,
- 7:54Speaker 2: a lot of times you see a pilot from either
- 7:57Speaker 2: that airline or another airline flying home or flying on
- 8:00Speaker 2: your plane. I suspect that would have been something like
- 8:03Speaker 2: you're talking about, wouldn't you?
- 8:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I mean, luckily there was another airline pilot that knew
- 8:11Speaker 2: how to fly that plane, apparently, and could take the
- 8:15Speaker 2: controls and get it under control relatively quickly because it's just–
- 8:20Speaker 2: It's just boom, you know, tank going for the ground, right?
- 8:26Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, it.
- 8:28Speaker 8: Gives me chills, really, goosebumps just thinking about that.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It says here aircraft drops more than 14,000 feet in
- 8:37Speaker 2: under 30 seconds.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Broadcast alerts was happened.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Let's see. Altitude fluctuation begins. Broadcast alerts, general emergency. then
- 8:49Speaker 2: lands at this regional airport. I mean, can you imagine this?
- 8:54Speaker 2: I mean, so I guess people shouldn't bitch about TSA
- 8:59Speaker 2: at the airport, you know, when we're going through everybody.
- 9:02Speaker 2: But now you better take a look at the pilots
- 9:04Speaker 2: and make sure you don't have a jihadist that's in
- 9:08Speaker 2: the cockpit, right? Or would that be– would the Democrats
- 9:14Speaker 2: say I'm– Being a racist by saying that.
- 9:18Speaker 8: Well, yeah, you're probably profiling.
- 9:20Speaker 6: Yes.
- 9:21Speaker 8: Maybe he just had mental illness, you know.
- 9:22Speaker 12: Yes.
- 9:23Speaker 8: He may have just been mentally ill.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Oh, I'm profiling, yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 8: But I would take it for what it is. You know,
- 9:31Speaker 8: if he happened to scream, you know, Aloha snack bar,
- 9:38Speaker 8: I would take it for what it means. But that
- 9:41Speaker 8: will all come out.
- 9:42Speaker 2: It seems to me Netanyahu sits there. One pilot tried
- 9:46Speaker 2: to crash a plane. Nearly all passengers were Israelis. And
- 9:51Speaker 2: I think it is what it appears to be, an
- 9:53Speaker 2: act of terrorism. Now, Clay and Buck were saying, if
- 9:56Speaker 2: you were listening to them, they were saying that the
- 10:00Speaker 2: timing of when he decided to do this, Clay and
- 10:03Speaker 2: Buck were speculating that he would want to take the
- 10:05Speaker 2: plane over to use the plane as some type of
- 10:09Speaker 2: September 11th situation as it was getting closer to Israel,
- 10:14Speaker 2: which wouldn't surprise me.
- 10:16Speaker 8: Yeah, because, well, yeah, I'd heard that, that, you know,
- 10:18Speaker 8: he basically waited until he was close to Israeli airspace,
- 10:21Speaker 8: and it became a, you.
- 10:23Speaker 6: Know, situation then.
- 10:24Speaker 8: In other words, like on 9-11, they did it immediately in,
- 10:28Speaker 8: you know, shortly after takeoff, and tried, you know, obviously succeeded,
- 10:35Speaker 8: but this, you know, he waited until he got close
- 10:38Speaker 8: to Israeli airspace so that, you know, there was enough
- 10:41Speaker 8: time to respond is what.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I mean, there's... when I heard either Clay or Buck
- 10:48Speaker 2: talk about that, I thought, well, that makes a certain
- 10:50Speaker 2: degree of sense because if you take over the plane
- 10:52Speaker 2: at that point in time, then now you can, if
- 10:56Speaker 2: you want to use it like they did on September 11th,
- 10:58Speaker 2: you have the ability to do that because of your terrorism.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Thoughts or activities. I don't even know how to, I
- 11:06Speaker 3: don't even know how to say it.
- 11:09Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 11:10Speaker 8: Hopefully, I'm glad they captured him alive and they can, uh,
- 11:16Speaker 8: get into this guy's head, you know, whether or not
- 11:18Speaker 8: he's a lone wolf or not, who, you know, it, it,
- 11:23Speaker 8: it is what it is. You know, if they, if
- 11:25Speaker 8: it turns out he did it for, you know, I guess, uh,
- 11:30Speaker 8: political religious purposes. I mean, it doesn't matter if you're
- 11:34Speaker 8: a single person or a terrorist network, you're, you're, you
- 11:37Speaker 8: are what you are in my opinion. Um, cause they're
- 11:40Speaker 8: going to try and spin it. I think because, uh,
- 11:43Speaker 8: you know, uh, I think that a lot of the
- 11:48Speaker 8: Democrat section opposing Trump is very sympathetic towards, you know,
- 11:55Speaker 8: how would I.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Say, Islamists, I guess.
- 12:00Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I mean, I'm interested in just hearing your reaction. I'm
- 12:08Speaker 2: just interested in hearing because I don't know what to
- 12:11Speaker 2: say about this. I'm interested in what people have to
- 12:14Speaker 2: say about it.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Including yours.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I mean, to me, your observations and what you heard
- 12:19Speaker 2: and the information you have, folks, I just find it
- 12:21Speaker 2: real interesting. And it's kind of, I don't want to
- 12:23Speaker 2: say I'm kind of speechless about this, but in a sense,
- 12:28Speaker 2: I am. In a sense, I'm sitting back thinking, Jesus,
- 12:33Speaker 2: I mean, what the? I'm like you. I can't imagine this.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I can't imagine being on that plane.
- 12:40Speaker 6: I don't like flying.
- 12:41Speaker 8: I don't like that feeling of not being in control.
- 12:43Speaker 8: So if that would have happened to me, I would
- 12:46Speaker 8: have probably wanted to help, you know, fight back because
- 12:50Speaker 8: it's better than sitting there, you know, and doing nothing.
- 12:55Speaker 8: So it's like– because I just don't like– that's why
- 12:58Speaker 8: I don't like flying, not because of the height. It's
- 13:00Speaker 8: because I'm not in– you know, you're not– Driving.
- 13:03Speaker 6: You're not driving the.
- 13:04Speaker 8: Car, right. You're at the will of whatever– If that
- 13:08Speaker 8: pilot decides the plane's going down, he can go down.
- 13:11Speaker 2: You're at the will of so many people, quite frankly.
- 13:13Speaker 2: You're at the will of the air traffic controllers and
- 13:15Speaker 2: their competence. You're at the will of the mechanics making
- 13:18Speaker 2: sure that plane is repaired correctly.
- 13:21Speaker 3: And, right, the pilots.
- 13:23Speaker 2: And despite all of that concern that you have, in general,
- 13:27Speaker 2: you don't hear many commercial passenger jet tragedies for the
- 13:32Speaker 2: most part.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Pretty safe way to travel.
- 13:36Speaker 6: Right. Yeah, true.
- 13:39Speaker 8: This is really scary. That's why I called in.
- 13:42Speaker 6: I'm like, man.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I want more people like you to call in because
- 13:45Speaker 2: I don't know what to say about it. I'm with
- 13:48Speaker 2: you 100%. I appreciate your insight. Thank you for your call.
- 13:52Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 13:53Speaker 2: That's your comments, please, people that have followed this.
- 13:57Speaker 3: What do you have to say about it? Because I
- 13:59Speaker 3: don't know, really.
- 13:59Speaker 2: It's just bewildering to me. I mean, it's just when
- 14:05Speaker 2: you heard this story, you said to yourself, let me
- 14:08Speaker 2: see if I got this straight and of what happened here.
- 14:14Speaker 2: And it's just, it's hard to imagine what happened. It's
- 14:18Speaker 2: hard to imagine what the people on that plane were
- 14:21Speaker 2: going through. And it's an incredible outcome that things fell
- 14:28Speaker 2: into place that it wasn't a tragedy. I think we
- 14:33Speaker 2: can all remember when Sully landed on the Hudson river.
- 14:37Speaker 2: And how amazing that was. And this is another amazing situation,
- 14:43Speaker 2: is it not? Of the jihadist, to quote Netanyahu, was
- 14:51Speaker 2: in the cockpit. Not somebody that snuck on the plane.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Comments?
- 15:00Speaker 2: 330-729-9977.
- 15:00Speaker 13: 330-729-9977.
- 15:00Speaker 3: You're on the air.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Ron, I don't know how you could call it terrorism,
- 15:11Speaker 4: because the New York Times referred to it as an
- 15:14Speaker 4: altercation between pilots. And they are the gold standard of
- 15:18Speaker 4: journalism in this country, right?
- 15:21Speaker 3: Well, okay. An altercation between pilots.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Yeah, an altercation. That's what the New York Times, the
- 15:27Speaker 4: gray old lady, all the news that's fit to print,
- 15:30Speaker 4: I believe, is their motto. And they insist it was
- 15:33Speaker 4: an altercation between pilots. So what is it? It would
- 15:37Speaker 4: be jumping to conclusions to call it a terrorist act.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Well, and then I was calling it that. Don't you
- 15:43Speaker 2: think he's in a position to know?
- 15:45Speaker 4: They're libtard idiots. That's how sick the media in this
- 15:49Speaker 4: country has become.
- 15:51Speaker 9: Yes.
- 15:52Speaker 4: You can't call balls and strikes anymore. You're so partisan,
- 15:57Speaker 4: it's just you're not going to say anything that might
- 16:00Speaker 4: interfere with the narrative you want to spin.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Isn't that bizarre, though?
- 16:05Speaker 2: I mean, I heard Clay and Buck, they were talking
- 16:09Speaker 2: about how the story didn't even appear. It was on
- 16:12Speaker 2: Fox for a considerable amount of time. It didn't even
- 16:14Speaker 2: appear on MSNBC or MSNOW or whatever they call it.
- 16:19Speaker 2: It didn't even appear for quite a while on CNN.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I mean, are you that?
- 16:23Speaker 4: Well, yeah, you have voters in Michigan that might not
- 16:26Speaker 4: vote for El-Sayed then because he's Muslim. They might start
- 16:30Speaker 4: getting doubts in their minds.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I mean, are you that biased that you can't report
- 16:33Speaker 2: a news story that is just.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Really?
- 16:38Speaker 14: Why?
- 16:38Speaker 4: Because it's... The denigration of the media, you know, having
- 16:45Speaker 4: any type of journalism standards in this country is disgusting.
- 16:49Speaker 4: We are in big trouble.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Stand by.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Back with Richard Pharmacist and more on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Ron Furp from the Kingdom of Mahoning.
- 16:59Speaker 9: High Heart Radio.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Mike Rowe here with another random fact.
- 17:04Speaker 9: KBN.
- 17:04Speaker 3: All right, back to it.
- 17:06Speaker 2: News Radio 570 WKBN, 324 in the afternoon.
- 17:09Speaker 3: This whole thing is so bizarre, isn't it?
- 17:13Speaker 4: Yes and no. I mean, it's not like this is
- 17:15Speaker 4: the first time we've seen it. I think people forget.
- 17:18Speaker 4: I think it was 1999, fall of 99, when That
- 17:23Speaker 4: Egypt Air flight took off out of New York, had
- 17:25Speaker 4: 200 and some people on it, and crashed. You know,
- 17:28Speaker 4: the guy did the Allahu Akbar and suicided it down
- 17:32Speaker 4: in the Long Island Sound. You know, there's terrorism. I mean,
- 17:37Speaker 4: if you remember, I mean, when we were growing up
- 17:40Speaker 4: back in the 60s and 70s, I mean, you always
- 17:44Speaker 4: had terrorists, Muslim terrorists, hijacking Israeli planes. That's why they've
- 17:48Speaker 4: got the best airport security in the world.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but the strange thing about this is it's a pilot.
- 17:53Speaker 3: It's your co-pilot, I guess, in the cockpit.
- 17:59Speaker 4: And that's who did it on the Egypt Air flight,
- 18:00Speaker 4: I decided. I went to the bathroom, and the Egypt
- 18:04Speaker 4: Air guy decided he didn't want to be here anymore
- 18:06Speaker 4: and was taking everybody with him.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Now, which one was that? Was that the one? Where
- 18:10Speaker 3: did that one crash?
- 18:12Speaker 4: That was, it took off out of, I think, JFK,
- 18:15Speaker 4: and he wasn't too far outside of New York when he,
- 18:18Speaker 4: the pilot, went to the bathroom and the co-pilot tanked
- 18:22Speaker 4: it into Long Island Sound. And the only reason I
- 18:26Speaker 4: remember that is we took, that's the exact same Egypt
- 18:29Speaker 4: Air flight three years before we went over to Egypt.
- 18:32Speaker 4: And that always struck me as being just, you know,
- 18:35Speaker 4: odd that I was on the same flight, different year, obviously,
- 18:39Speaker 4: as that was, as that one.
- 18:40Speaker 6: But, Yeah, I mean, we've had.
- 18:43Speaker 4: You're going to continue to have terrorism. I mean, I
- 18:46Speaker 4: think we've put a big dent in it with the
- 18:47Speaker 4: security procedures we have. But, you know, just... The problem
- 18:53Speaker 4: I think I have, and I know this sounds terrible,
- 18:55Speaker 4: but it just seems like the radical portion of Islam
- 19:00Speaker 4: is just not compatible with the Western world. You don't
- 19:04Speaker 4: want those people interacting in your society because they don't have...
- 19:07Speaker 4: You know, we're a Judeo-Christian society. based society all our
- 19:12Speaker 4: laws all our rules go back to the bible you
- 19:16Speaker 4: know basically old testament new testament it's pretty simple and
- 19:20Speaker 4: so many cultures you get to the eastern countries you
- 19:23Speaker 4: get you know the far east the chinese and the
- 19:25Speaker 4: japanese and that they don't they did not grow up
- 19:28Speaker 4: with that in that system and they look at the
- 19:30Speaker 4: world in a different way and i think you can
- 19:32Speaker 4: say that about radical islam those people look at the
- 19:35Speaker 4: world you look at the rape gangs in britain You know,
- 19:39Speaker 4: the Muslims over there that were raping those tens of
- 19:43Speaker 4: thousands of women, I think a conservative estimates around 25,000
- 19:45Speaker 4: women got raped over there. They do it because if you're...
- 19:50Speaker 4: not Muslim, it's not a crime to rape a woman
- 19:52Speaker 4: who is not a Muslim. It's okay. Because they're a non-believer.
- 19:57Speaker 4: It's just a system that's fundamentally at odds with ours.
- 20:01Speaker 4: That's what worries me when you've got Mondami in New
- 20:04Speaker 4: York and you've got this El Sayed up in Michigan.
- 20:07Speaker 4: And they don't hide the fact that they hate Jews.
- 20:11Speaker 4: If you look at their past statements, it's readily apparent
- 20:15Speaker 4: that they hate Jews. I think they would just as
- 20:17Speaker 4: soon follow the Hitler playbook as let them live peacefully
- 20:21Speaker 4: amongst them. And that's what's disturbing. And it's not just that.
- 20:28Speaker 4: I mean, look at the people we've let into this country,
- 20:30Speaker 4: especially the last four years under Biden. They're just not assimilating.
- 20:35Speaker 4: None of these Somalis that have come here, they're not
- 20:37Speaker 4: really assimilating. The Haitians don't really assimilate. And I mean,
- 20:42Speaker 4: I understand our ancestors came over and kept a lot
- 20:45Speaker 4: of the traditions and cultural beliefs and that, but most
- 20:48Speaker 4: of them wanted to be Americans first and made sure
- 20:51Speaker 4: their kids were Americans. And these people, you know, the
- 20:56Speaker 4: Muslim girls that are born in this country still are pressured.
- 21:00Speaker 4: They can only... marry a Muslim man, they're not allowed
- 21:03Speaker 4: to marry outside their faith. It's forbidden. Your family will
- 21:06Speaker 4: disown you. So this kind of stuff does not surprise me.
- 21:11Speaker 4: I think it's just another offshoot of radical Islam.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Okay, so here's, as you would well know, Israeli Prime
- 21:21Speaker 2: Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with a passenger, broke into the
- 21:24Speaker 2: cockpit of the, am I pronouncing it right, Fly Dubai,
- 21:28Speaker 2: I guess, flight, to intervene after the co-pilot allegedly stabbed
- 21:35Speaker 2: the plane's pilot and tried to crash the aircraft, the
- 21:38Speaker 2: Prime Minister's office said. Netanyahu's office shared video of the
- 21:42Speaker 2: Prime Minister meeting the passenger identified as Yaniv at the
- 21:47Speaker 2: airport following the passenger's safe return to Israel. Prime Minister
- 21:51Speaker 2: Netanyahu at the airport meeting with Yaniv, who broke into
- 21:54Speaker 2: the cockpit, the Prime Minister's office said. The Times of
- 21:57Speaker 2: Israel reported, On a conversation between the pair, including how
- 22:00Speaker 2: Yaniv recounted how he broke into the cockpit, subdued the
- 22:04Speaker 2: alleged attacker before helping to stabilize a nosediving aircraft. When
- 22:09Speaker 2: I went in, I saw the terrorist on the controls
- 22:12Speaker 2: between the two seats. Yaniv said, according to the outlet,
- 22:15Speaker 2: there was no pilot in the seats. I grabbed the terrorist,
- 22:19Speaker 2: put him in a hold, and first of all, pulled
- 22:21Speaker 2: him outside. Yaniv said the attacker appeared to be trying
- 22:24Speaker 2: to destroy the plane's controls when he entered the cockpit.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Hang on, Rich. Hang on, folks.
- 22:29Speaker 1: NewsRadio 570 WKVN.
- 22:34Speaker 15: Jurors in Miami County have found Caleb Flynn guilty on
- 22:37Speaker 15: all nine counts, including aggravated murder in the February shooting
- 22:41Speaker 15: death of his wife, Ashley. Prosecutors say Flynn killed his
- 22:44Speaker 15: wife as she slept because he wanted to be with
- 22:46Speaker 15: his mistress, while Flynn maintained that an intruder was responsible.
- 22:50Speaker 15: Flynn is scheduled for sentencing next week. A Wood County
- 22:54Speaker 15: man will spend the rest of his life behind bars
- 22:56Speaker 15: for killing his father. 37-year-old Richard Dannenberger was sentenced to
- 23:00Speaker 15: life in prison after pleading guilty to charges including aggravated
- 23:03Speaker 15: murder for killing 66-year-old Raymond Dannenberger in September of last year.
- 23:08Speaker 15: One person is dead following a shooting last night in Columbus' Hilltop.
- 23:12Speaker 15: It happened on North Burgess Street just after 7.30 p.m.
- 23:16Speaker 15: The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital a short
- 23:18Speaker 15: time later. A suspect was taken into custody following a
- 23:21Speaker 15: chase in Fairfield County.
- 23:23Speaker 16: I'm Andy Betts.

- 23:31Speaker 3: Download the app.
- 23:32Speaker 9: Free never sounded so good.
- 23:34Speaker 1: From the A to Z. Now, Ron Verb. On NewsRadio 570, WKBN.
- 23:39Speaker 3: All right, so let me get back to this story.
- 23:43Speaker 2: And I just think it's really interesting to read the
- 23:49Speaker 2: The story to see, I mean, what this guy did,
- 23:53Speaker 2: it's just, it's incredible to me.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Well, I think after 9-11, you're not going to, if
- 23:59Speaker 4: you remember before 9-11, when planes were hijacked, most people
- 24:03Speaker 4: just sat there figuring what the authorities will get off,
- 24:05Speaker 4: you know, eventually they'll negotiate, we'll get off this plane,
- 24:07Speaker 4: we'll be okay. After 9-11, even on 9-11, United 93,
- 24:12Speaker 4: those passengers were trying to break into the cockpit and
- 24:14Speaker 4: take over before he crashed that one into the ground
- 24:17Speaker 4: over in Shanksville. People aren't going to sit idly by
- 24:20Speaker 4: anymore while somebody takes over a plane, not if they
- 24:23Speaker 4: can help it.
- 24:24Speaker 3: So it says here, so this guy is really one
- 24:28Speaker 3: of the heroes, right? Absolutely. The guy that I was
- 24:32Speaker 3: just reading. I just lost that.
- 24:34Speaker 4: And they were lucky. There was actually a second crew
- 24:38Speaker 4: of pilots that were going to relieve them on the flight, supposedly,
- 24:41Speaker 4: that happened to be on board. So when they yanked
- 24:43Speaker 4: that guy out of the cockpit, they were able to
- 24:46Speaker 4: get in there and take over and fly the plane.
- 24:50Speaker 3: So the guy that....
- 24:53Speaker 2: I mean, were these guys just on there like you
- 24:55Speaker 2: see basically flying to some other... I don't know if
- 24:58Speaker 2: there was a second group to take over, or was
- 25:01Speaker 2: it just the case of.
- 25:05Speaker 4: From what I read, it said in the article I
- 25:07Speaker 4: read that these other two pilots were on there to
- 25:10Speaker 4: relieve the crew that was flying. Maybe they had flown
- 25:13Speaker 4: in previously and were at the end of their allotted
- 25:16Speaker 4: flight time that they're allowed to have or whatever, but...
- 25:19Speaker 4: At any rate, for whatever reason, there were two other
- 25:21Speaker 4: pilots on board.
- 25:22Speaker 2: So this guy, getting back to the story, when I
- 25:23Speaker 2: went in, I saw the terrorists on the controls between
- 25:25Speaker 2: the two seats. And he said, according to the outlets,
- 25:30Speaker 2: there were no pilots in the seats. I grabbed the terrorists,
- 25:33Speaker 2: put them in a hold, and first of all, pulled
- 25:35Speaker 2: them outside. And he said the attacker appeared to be
- 25:38Speaker 2: trying to destroy the plane's controls when he entered the cockpit.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I jumped back in there, grabbed the controls, and started
- 25:44Speaker 2: pulling the controls. He said, describing how he pulled the
- 25:47Speaker 2: controls backwards, The plane started leveling out a little more,
- 25:51Speaker 2: and then the pilot told me was taking over from there.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Israeli officials have credited the passengers and crew members with
- 25:58Speaker 2: subduing the co-pilot and helping prevent the aircraft from crashing
- 26:02Speaker 2: before another flight crew aboard took control of the plane.
- 26:08Speaker 3: It's incredible, isn't it? This is amazing.
- 26:12Speaker 4: You never know anymore when you're traveling. I mean, it's
- 26:14Speaker 4: a goofy world. I guess it's always been goofy, but
- 26:17Speaker 4: you just never know. But in other news, if I
- 26:20Speaker 4: can mention one other thing, probably the bigger news long
- 26:23Speaker 4: term of the day, because this you tell, is that
- 26:27Speaker 4: the 10-year treasury yield is now at a 24-year high.
- 26:33Speaker 4: And if you look at the 10-year, I think it
- 26:35Speaker 4: started out the year just a little bit under 4%.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Now it's like 5.2%, 5.3%. And there was an article
- 26:42Speaker 4: I was reading that said every single time you've seen
- 26:44Speaker 4: bond yields go up very quickly like this, it doesn't
- 26:50Speaker 4: bode well for the economy. It's an indicator that they
- 26:54Speaker 4: think something's up, something's about to break. So that has
- 26:59Speaker 4: me a lot more worried than this does. I mean,
- 27:02Speaker 4: this is an incident that ended well, thank God.
- 27:04Speaker 8: But.
- 27:05Speaker 4: the 10-year yield and what's going on with the economy
- 27:08Speaker 4: and our borrowing costs, I think the chickens may finally
- 27:10Speaker 4: be coming home to roost with the $ 40 trillion debt
- 27:14Speaker 4: and our inability to balance our budget.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so you're concerned where the economy's heading?
- 27:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I know inflation today came back, what, 3%,
- 27:26Speaker 4: I think they said, which is, you know, 2.5 is
- 27:28Speaker 4: the target, so it's not terrible. But I think the
- 27:32Speaker 4: bigger issue.
- 27:35Speaker 4: And it's not just us, it's the whole world. The
- 27:37Speaker 4: entire world economy is built by countries just continuing to
- 27:41Speaker 4: borrow and pile on debt. And it's become unsustainable. I
- 27:46Speaker 4: think we're at over 100% of gross domestic product now
- 27:49Speaker 4: at $ 40 trillion. Most countries, I think Europe's in the
- 27:53Speaker 4: 150 to 200 plus percent range of GDP. China's way
- 27:58Speaker 4: up there. The world economy.
- 28:02Speaker 4: If you look under the, you know, if you peek
- 28:04Speaker 4: under the covers, it can, it gets quite scary. I
- 28:07Speaker 4: think if you ever get a chance to have Dane
- 28:09Speaker 4: Davis on again, I know it's really difficult to get him.
- 28:12Speaker 7: Yes.
- 28:13Speaker 2: And he was on one time in it. I've had
- 28:15Speaker 2: him scheduled and then he had to back out just
- 28:17Speaker 2: because he's busy.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Busy.
- 28:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:20Speaker 4: I mean, it would be very interesting to see his
- 28:23Speaker 4: thoughts on what's going on in the world right now, economically,
- 28:25Speaker 4: because I think, uh, we, you know, we live in
- 28:28Speaker 4: interesting times and, uh, you may always hear about these
- 28:31Speaker 4: black swan events where, you know, something, and if you
- 28:34Speaker 4: remember 2008, everything was fine. You know, oil was kind
- 28:38Speaker 4: of up a lot. And then the housing crisis, the
- 28:41Speaker 4: bubble popped and the floor fell out. And if people
- 28:45Speaker 4: think that can't happen today, right now we're at, you know,
- 28:48Speaker 4: we were at Dow, what, 13, 14,000, I think, in
- 28:50Speaker 4: the summer of 2008 and went down, I think March
- 28:53Speaker 4: of 09, it went down to the low sixes or
- 28:56Speaker 4: middle sixes. So you lost 50% of your value and,
- 29:00Speaker 4: in about six months, seven months, and it can happen again.
- 29:04Speaker 4: I mean, we're all riding high on these stock market
- 29:07Speaker 4: gains we've all made, but that doesn't mean they're here
- 29:09Speaker 4: to stay.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Well, right, and people forget this, that everybody thinks, well,
- 29:13Speaker 2: if it goes down, it'll go up next week or
- 29:15Speaker 2: in two weeks or something. Sometimes markets go down and
- 29:19Speaker 2: they stay down. This idea that, oh, it'll be okay
- 29:23Speaker 2: a week later or two days later. And a lot
- 29:26Speaker 2: of times it is. Don't misunderstand me. But in many cases,
- 29:29Speaker 2: you've got to be cautious that it doesn't go down
- 29:31Speaker 2: and stay down. Now, that's a big problem if you're
- 29:34Speaker 2: close to retirement or if you're Well, it's a big
- 29:38Speaker 2: problem if you've got to take required minimum distributions in
- 29:40Speaker 2: the markets way down because you've still got to take them.
- 29:43Speaker 2: And it's a big problem if you're in retirement and
- 29:47Speaker 2: what that does to your portfolio as far as your
- 29:49Speaker 2: retirement income.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Well, it's a big problem for everybody. Why put everything
- 29:54Speaker 3: in groups?
- 29:54Speaker 4: And the issue is now is there's almost nowhere to
- 29:57Speaker 4: hide because traditionally if you're towards retirement, you would put
- 30:00Speaker 4: more money in bonds, right?
- 30:01Speaker 18: Right.
- 30:02Speaker 4: You know who's gotten cream this year?
- 30:03Speaker 19: Bonds.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Because as the yields go up, the price of the
- 30:06Speaker 4: bond goes down, so you're losing money in your bond funds.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Yeah, there's nowhere to go.
- 30:10Speaker 4: There's nowhere to hide. We live in precarious times, I think.
- 30:15Speaker 4: So that's the news that has me more on edge
- 30:19Speaker 4: today than what happened to this flight. Just thank God
- 30:22Speaker 4: it turned out well for those people.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yeah, thank God it turned out well. All right, Rich,
- 30:25Speaker 2: appreciate it. Rich, the pharmacist, NewsRadio 570. And you're on
- 30:29Speaker 2: the air.
- 30:31Speaker 14: Hey, Ron.
- 30:33Speaker 16: Regarding the bond market and just kind of coming back,
- 30:36Speaker 16: you know, there's also that theory out there that we're
- 30:38Speaker 16: going to have like a system reset where basically we
- 30:42Speaker 16: change our, you know, currency. And you're seeing kind of
- 30:47Speaker 16: the push into crypto and trying to get that into
- 30:52Speaker 16: more of a world market where all the countries kind
- 30:56Speaker 16: of switch over their assets and liquidations over into crypto.
- 31:01Speaker 16: And I kind of see that, and they also look
- 31:04Speaker 16: at the bond market where, with the election coming up,
- 31:08Speaker 16: a lot of the European countries, particularly the U.K., are
- 31:12Speaker 16: manipulating our bond markets.
- 31:15Speaker 12: So it is scary times.
- 31:20Speaker 16: Just what it holds for us in the future, no
- 31:22Speaker 16: one's going to know, but I do believe that there's
- 31:24Speaker 16: some type of reset that's going to be coming.
- 31:26Speaker 20: Forward here soon.
- 31:28Speaker 3: So is that good news or bad news?
- 31:32Speaker 16: I think in the short term, it's going to be
- 31:34Speaker 16: bad news. But I think eventually it's going to because
- 31:41Speaker 16: all of these countries are so far in debt. And
- 31:43Speaker 16: it's almost like they're playing the game where no one
- 31:45Speaker 16: really wants to balance the books. They just want to spend, spend, spend.
- 31:50Speaker 16: And as long as that country and our country and
- 31:53Speaker 16: we're all in debt, they're just playing the debt game.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Well, yeah, but isn't that what the problem is?
- 32:00Speaker 2: I mean, so if interest rates go up and if
- 32:03Speaker 2: your biggest expense is servicing your debt now, second biggest expense,
- 32:08Speaker 2: how long if you continue to grow the debt and
- 32:10Speaker 2: interest rates go up, does your biggest expense of your
- 32:13Speaker 2: tax dollars coming in simply to pay the interest on
- 32:16Speaker 2: the debt?
- 32:17Speaker 3: You follow me?
- 32:18Speaker 2: I mean, how does a country continue on with that mentality?
- 32:22Speaker 2: But it seems to me, I would ask you, it
- 32:24Speaker 2: doesn't seem to me anyone gives a damn about it.
- 32:26Speaker 2: I don't see– I saw the Democrats attacking Elon Musk
- 32:30Speaker 2: and the Doge people for trying to hunt down all
- 32:32Speaker 2: this wasteful spending and stuff and destroy Elon Musk because
- 32:36Speaker 2: we don't want you to take away this wasteful spending
- 32:38Speaker 2: that we have people benefiting on. And, of course, there's
- 32:41Speaker 2: plenty of Republicans that are into pork spending as well.
- 32:44Speaker 2: It seems to me, over the years, I don't give
- 32:46Speaker 2: a damn if it's Republicans or Democrats. Nobody wants to
- 32:49Speaker 2: really solve this problem. They just keep making it worse.
- 32:51Speaker 2: They talk about it, but they don't do anything about it.
- 32:55Speaker 21: No.
- 32:55Speaker 16: If you throw the politics into it, like, you know,
- 33:00Speaker 16: the Democrats and Republicans, I look at politicians as equally
- 33:04Speaker 16: the same. I look at the only reason that there
- 33:06Speaker 16: are two parties now is.
- 33:09Speaker 16: People and have them fighting amongst each other instead of
- 33:13Speaker 16: actually really solving any problems. You look at politicians that
- 33:19Speaker 16: come into politics that barely have two nickels to rub together,
- 33:24Speaker 16: and ultimately within five to eight to ten years, they're multi-multi-millionaires.
- 33:29Speaker 16: So who's really fleecing this country?
- 33:32Speaker 3: Well, listen, I agree. Forget parties.
- 33:35Speaker 2: How did Obama, a community organizer, which is not a
- 33:38Speaker 2: high paying job, incidentally, and he becomes a senator and
- 33:42Speaker 2: then he becomes president. And now he's done and he's filthy,
- 33:45Speaker 2: stinking rich. And I just put that question out there.
- 33:48Speaker 2: How did two hillbillies from Arkansas end up being so
- 33:52Speaker 2: rich when they got done with when Clinton got done
- 33:56Speaker 2: being president? I mean, can you explain anything or anything
- 33:59Speaker 2: like this or the Biden family? I mean, so all
- 34:03Speaker 2: of these people that weren't– let's just– God, it could
- 34:07Speaker 2: offend a lot of people. But, I mean, Trump going
- 34:08Speaker 2: into office had money. Trump was rich before he went
- 34:12Speaker 2: into office. So you can kind of exclude him. But
- 34:15Speaker 2: the reality is, how did all these other people who
- 34:18Speaker 2: weren't come out with that kind of money?
- 34:21Speaker 16: I think governments– foreign countries paying them off as long as...
- 34:25Speaker 16: And the other thing is lobbyists. Lobbyists really are the
- 34:28Speaker 16: ones that control this country because politicians are bought and sold.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Right.
- 34:35Speaker 16: And what's happened to the middle class? You no longer
- 34:37Speaker 16: hear anyone talking about the middle class anymore. It's basically
- 34:42Speaker 16: the socialists or the Republicans defending high-income people. Like, it's
- 34:50Speaker 16: the typical class warfare because... And who's stuck in the middle?
- 34:54Speaker 16: The middle class. They're the ones that are going to
- 34:57Speaker 16: get squeezed. It's not the poor that's going to get squeezed.
- 35:00Speaker 16: It's not going to be the economic or wealthy elites
- 35:03Speaker 16: that are going to get squeezed. It's always been the
- 35:05Speaker 16: middle class that's the ones that are going to get
- 35:08Speaker 16: screwed over in the end.
- 35:09Speaker 2: So where do you think, you sound like an intelligent guy,
- 35:12Speaker 2: where do you think the economy is heading based on
- 35:15Speaker 2: what you're saying as far as the stock market, investments,
- 35:19Speaker 2: somebody that's out there now in the stock market or
- 35:23Speaker 2: retired or working, where do you think things are heading?
- 35:27Speaker 16: As a small business owner and working for my CFHC,
- 35:31Speaker 16: my Certified Financial Consultant's degree, I see bad times coming. Like,
- 35:40Speaker 16: it's unsustainable.
- 35:42Speaker 19: Like, what's the giving?
- 35:44Speaker 16: Eventually, there's winners and losers, and I think that there's
- 35:48Speaker 16: going to be a lot more losers here in the
- 35:49Speaker 16: near future than there are going to be winners. That's
- 35:52Speaker 16: just kind of where I see it.
- 35:55Speaker 3: More losers than winners.
- 35:57Speaker 2: And when you say losers, do you mean losing their
- 36:00Speaker 2: house to foreclosure or not able to pay their bills,
- 36:03Speaker 2: or what do you mean by that?
- 36:06Speaker 12: Well.
- 36:08Speaker 16: In the stock market, there are always winners, but the losers,
- 36:11Speaker 16: somebody is ultimately going to have to pay the price,
- 36:14Speaker 16: and I think it's going to be the middle class,
- 36:15Speaker 16: and it's going to be home devaluations, reduced economic power
- 36:20Speaker 16: within each household, not having enough money. I really do
- 36:24Speaker 16: see it coming. It's going to be a system reset,
- 36:27Speaker 16: and they're going to wipe the debt out with cryptocurrencies.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Explain that to me. Wipe the debt out with cryptocurrencies.
- 36:34Speaker 2: How can you wipe a debt out? When there's a debt,
- 36:36Speaker 2: somebody's owed it on the other end. I mean, if
- 36:39Speaker 2: you wipe a debt out, somebody gets screwed. It's like
- 36:42Speaker 2: every time I say, if you declare bankruptcy and walk
- 36:45Speaker 2: away from stuff, there's somebody on the other end who
- 36:47Speaker 2: doesn't get paid.
- 36:50Speaker 16: Yes, and over time we've had resets in the economy.
- 36:54Speaker 16: Like the gold standard, we reset that. The petrol oil
- 36:57Speaker 16: dollar that we're currently in, that's been reset. They're always
- 37:02Speaker 16: going to peg it to something. And now money is just,
- 37:09Speaker 16: it's a faith. There's nothing really backing it. Other than
- 37:13Speaker 16: the dollar bill that you have in your hand, What's
- 37:16Speaker 16: really behind that? Nothing, because the gold standard's gone. There's
- 37:20Speaker 16: nothing that they can really peg it to. And I
- 37:23Speaker 16: think the cryptocurrencies are going to be just like gold
- 37:27Speaker 16: and assets and silver that are going to eventually.
- 37:31Speaker 11: Back that cryptocurrency, because it's going.
- 37:34Speaker 16: To be a real-world asset. And that's my philosophy on that.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Well, it's interesting. I mean, I'm intrigued by your philosophy.
- 37:45Speaker 2: I have a tendency, incidentally, just as a side note,
- 37:47Speaker 2: to agree with your philosophy. I think to a certain extent,
- 37:51Speaker 2: I hear people say all the time, I make the argument,
- 37:54Speaker 2: I would lay this on you.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Everything's costing more.
- 37:57Speaker 2: I don't care if it's your taxes, your electricity, your gasoline,
- 38:00Speaker 2: your groceries, everything's costing more. And tell me if you agree.
- 38:03Speaker 2: I'll say it again. People's incomes are not keeping up
- 38:07Speaker 2: with the rate of inflation. I mean, so right off
- 38:10Speaker 2: the bat, I say this all the time. We're all
- 38:12Speaker 2: becoming poorer. I don't care if you're working. Your company
- 38:16Speaker 2: hasn't given you races to keep pace with inflation. If
- 38:19Speaker 2: you're working or Social Security hasn't, if you're retired, the
- 38:24Speaker 2: reality is. Everyone's getting poor. Your savings don't buy as much.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Your paycheck doesn't.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Buy as much. So what do you do?
- 38:32Speaker 2: So you got to cut back somewhere on your spending
- 38:35Speaker 2: or you go into debt.
- 38:37Speaker 3: I mean, those are your two choices.
- 38:38Speaker 2: If you go into debt, you're a fool because in reality,
- 38:42Speaker 2: credit card debt has just got awful with the interest rates.
- 38:45Speaker 10: But.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I just think people have to cut back. Now, there
- 38:50Speaker 2: are people that say, oh, yeah, we'll try to go
- 38:52Speaker 2: to any of our restaurants in our community.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Look at how busy they are.
- 38:56Speaker 2: You see a shortage of traffic out there, even at
- 38:59Speaker 2: 450 a gallon. This is what the people counter it with.
- 39:02Speaker 2: I see a lot of people still in the stores,
- 39:05Speaker 2: still at the restaurants, et cetera. Your comment about that
- 39:08Speaker 2: would be what?
- 39:10Speaker 16: My thing is in my household with my family and
- 39:12Speaker 16: three kids, we have definitely cut back on our discretionary spending.
- 39:17Speaker 16: That crock pot is being used every day. My kids
- 39:21Speaker 16: don't like it because, you know, they miss they miss
- 39:27Speaker 16: their Chick-fil-A, they miss their canes. Um, so my wife
- 39:32Speaker 16: and I don't go out to dinner very much. Uh,
- 39:35Speaker 16: we do a lot of things at home. We've cut,
- 39:37Speaker 16: we've cut certain subscriptions that we've had like Hulu. Um,
- 39:41Speaker 16: we found other alternatives because that's where it's at because
- 39:44Speaker 16: in my savings account, it's definitely dwindled because things cost more. Um,
- 39:50Speaker 16: So we've definitely taken a step back.
- 39:52Speaker 2: So if you own a home, I'd be the first
- 39:54Speaker 2: to say if you own a home and you have
- 39:55Speaker 2: to replace your roof, you'll be shocked at what it costs.
- 39:59Speaker 2: I mean, you get estimates from quality roofers, and I
- 40:03Speaker 2: think you'll also be surprised and get estimates from many
- 40:07Speaker 2: when it comes to your heating and cooling system.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Some of the basic fundamentals.
- 40:11Speaker 2: That everyone has in their household, a furnace, air conditioning,
- 40:16Speaker 2: replacing the roof, I'm just trying to think of some
- 40:19Speaker 2: of this stuff.
- 40:20Speaker 3: It's an absolute fortune anymore. It's an absolute fortune.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Yet I hear these people, and it's hard for me
- 40:27Speaker 2: to imagine. I mean, some of these companies and what
- 40:30Speaker 2: they're charging and what they're getting for people to do
- 40:33Speaker 2: a kitchen remodeling. I was just talking to a carpenter yesterday.
- 40:36Speaker 2: It was saying in this one guy's kitchen for a remodel,
- 40:42Speaker 2: not a big kitchen. They wanted $ 30- something thousand dollars. And
- 40:46Speaker 2: basically was saying at most you might have $ 5, 000, $ 6, 000
- 40:50Speaker 2: in materials.
- 40:53Speaker 3: At most.
- 40:56Speaker 16: I definitely see that.
- 40:57Speaker 4: I see it.
- 40:58Speaker 3: And yet people go for it.
- 41:00Speaker 2: I mean, people are so stupid that they say, oh, okay,
- 41:03Speaker 2: I'll go for that without having a clue what this
- 41:06Speaker 2: stuff costs. And it's just, believe me, some of these
- 41:08Speaker 2: companies are making a killing.
- 41:11Speaker 12: All right, Ron, take care.

- 42:38Speaker 2: Ron Verb from the Kingdom of Mahoning here today. Some
- 42:41Speaker 2: interesting calls so far, and you're.
- 42:42Speaker 3: On the air. Hey, Ron.
- 42:45Speaker 23: How's it going?
- 42:46Speaker 14: Good.
- 42:46Speaker 24: Go ahead.
- 42:48Speaker 20: Yeah, I was listening to Rich, and almost all the
- 42:52Speaker 20: time I agree with what Rich has to say. But
- 42:56Speaker 20: there is one thing, the way he defined.
- 43:03Speaker 6: Radical Islam.
- 43:07Speaker 20: I would say that it is not radical.
- 43:09Speaker 25: Islam more so than it is fundamental Islam. To explain myself,
- 43:18Speaker 25: there's not more than one Koran. So just like there's
- 43:23Speaker 25: a lot of people in America who claim to be
- 43:27Speaker 25: Christians but have no idea what the Bible teaches that
- 43:32Speaker 25: don't really follow the true teachings of Jesus, so on
- 43:37Speaker 25: the other extreme, there are Muslims that claim to be
- 43:41Speaker 25: Muslims that are not true Muslims. A true Muslim that
- 43:46Speaker 25: follows the Koran, what the Koran teaches, is to kill
- 43:52Speaker 25: the infidel. There is no other way to slice it.
- 43:56Speaker 25: They're not extreme Islamists. They're fundamental Muslims, or fundamental Islamists,
- 44:04Speaker 25: if that makes sense.
- 44:08Speaker 3: So your point is, in a nutshell, what?
- 44:15Speaker 6: Well, my point is, it's not just Rich.
- 44:18Speaker 20: I agree with everything Rich said, but the way that
- 44:20Speaker 20: he phrased it, a group of people to call them
- 44:26Speaker 20: an extreme or a radical Islamist, there.
- 44:30Speaker 12: Is no such thing.
- 44:32Speaker 20: These are just people that.
- 44:33Speaker 25: Are of the Muslim or Islam faith that fundamentally do.
- 44:40Speaker 20: And follow what their faith tells them to do. There
- 44:44Speaker 20: is no, like, I'm a radical, so I'm going to
- 44:47Speaker 20: take it to the extreme. No, they're fundamentally just doing
- 44:51Speaker 20: what their book of faith tells them to do, and
- 44:54Speaker 20: that's to kill the infidel. I don't know if that
- 44:58Speaker 20: makes sense. You know, it's like, in comparison to a Christian,
- 45:03Speaker 20: at the end of the Sermon on the Mount, in
- 45:06Speaker 20: Matthew chapter 7, Jesus said, the person who hears these
- 45:11Speaker 20: words of mine and does them is like the wise
- 45:14Speaker 20: man who built his house on a foundation of rock.
- 45:19Speaker 20: And then he says that the fool hears these words.
- 45:22Speaker 25: Of mine and does not do them.
- 45:25Speaker 20: He is the fool who built his house on a
- 45:28Speaker 20: foundation of sand.
- 45:30Speaker 12: There's group Christmas in the world.

- 46:00Speaker 27: for the Indian captain of a fly-to-buy flight who was
- 46:03Speaker 27: stabbed by the co-pilot en route to Israel.
- 46:05Speaker 28: Calling him extremely brave, he says despite being stabbed, he
- 46:09Speaker 28: fought back and resisted and opened the cockpit door to
- 46:12Speaker 28: allow passengers in to overpower the attacker. Netanyahu says he
- 46:16Speaker 28: prevented a mid-air disaster saving the lives of 174 people.
- 46:21Speaker 27: Fox's Jeff Paul in Tel Aviv, that plane rapidly plunging
- 46:24Speaker 27: thousands of feet during the attack. Israel initially fearing a hijacking,
- 46:28Speaker 27: scrambling fighter jets before passengers and crew regained control. And
- 46:32Speaker 27: it was diverted to Saudi Arabia, where the suspect is
- 46:34Speaker 27: said to be in custody.
- 46:36Speaker 29: It's a high probability that he was hijacking the plane,
- 46:38Speaker 29: that he was bringing the plane down. And we have
- 46:40Speaker 29: an investigation ongoing. But what is not up for investigation
- 46:44Speaker 29: is the bravery of the people on this plane.
- 46:46Speaker 3: They are heroes.
- 46:47Speaker 27: Netanyahu spokesperson Doran Spielman also telling Fox the passenger who
- 46:51Speaker 27: initially grabbed the controls to help stabilize the jet is

- 48:58Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 49:02Speaker 2: All right, back to it, NewsRadio 570 WKBN. So, yeah,
- 49:09Speaker 2: in a nutshell, you're basically saying that it's, you're broadening
- 49:14Speaker 2: the scope of what Rich was saying, right?
- 49:18Speaker 6: Yeah, to a degree.
- 49:20Speaker 20: What I'm saying is, is whenever you say it's these
- 49:25Speaker 20: radical Islamists or these extreme Muslims that are committing these acts,
- 49:33Speaker 20: you give the false perception that there's a peaceful brotherhood
- 49:39Speaker 20: of Muslims. But what I'm saying is somebody that is
- 49:43Speaker 20: truly committed to the Muslim faith is not going to
- 49:49Speaker 20: be a peaceful Muslim. There's only one Koran. And Sharia
- 49:57Speaker 20: law is not compatible with what this country was founded on.
- 50:02Speaker 20: This country was founded on Christian Judeo law.
- 50:06Speaker 6: And that's all I'm saying.
- 50:09Speaker 20: There is no such thing as an extreme Islamist or
- 50:12Speaker 20: a radical Islamist. There are committed Islamists, and a committed
- 50:17Speaker 20: Islamist is going to be an Islamist that wants to
- 50:21Speaker 20: kill the infidel.
- 50:22Speaker 2: All right, so the word extreme doesn't play into it
- 50:28Speaker 2: at all.
- 50:31Speaker 20: No, because whenever they do an act that seems extreme to.
- 50:36Speaker 6: The rest of the world.
- 50:37Speaker 30: It's.
- 50:38Speaker 6: Not extreme at all.
- 50:39Speaker 20: They're doing what their book of faith, the Koran, teaches
- 50:42Speaker 20: them to do. And that's to kill the infidel. Kill
- 50:46Speaker 20: big Satan and kill little Satan. Israel and America.
- 50:51Speaker 2: So this situation on this fly-to-buy plane or whatever that
- 50:56Speaker 2: took place today, is that an example of what you mean?
- 51:00Speaker 20: Well, I don't know the complete facts about that act,
- 51:06Speaker 20: if it was a Muslim or just somebody crazy that
- 51:09Speaker 20: committed the act. I was more so commenting on Rich's comments,
- 51:15Speaker 20: which I wholeheartedly agreed with. I just was commenting on
- 51:18Speaker 20: the way he phrased it as radical Islam, when I
- 51:23Speaker 20: would say that there is no such thing as radical
- 51:26Speaker 20: Islam because there is no such thing as peaceful Islam.
- 51:32Speaker 3: All right. I got you. Appreciate it. Thank you. Interesting insight.
- 51:36Speaker 3: You're on the air.
- 51:37Speaker 11: From the river to the sea. That's all they've been chanting.
- 51:41Speaker 11: You know, wipe out the Jews from the river to
- 51:43Speaker 11: the sea. And I told you about this a long
- 51:46Speaker 11: time ago. I read the Koran in 96, and I
- 51:49Speaker 11: told you it's crazy.
- 51:52Speaker 6: Okay?
- 51:52Speaker 12: Period.
- 51:52Speaker 11: If you read the Koran, it says, kill all infidel.
- 51:58Speaker 11: And the only thing that's supposed to be on this
- 52:00Speaker 11: earth is Islam.
- 52:01Speaker 6: That's it.
- 52:02Speaker 11: So I bet you two to one, that was like
- 52:05Speaker 11: a 9-11. He was going to, well, number one, the
- 52:08Speaker 11: whole plane was juiced. And number two, he probably was
- 52:12Speaker 11: going to smash it into a busy office building.
- 52:15Speaker 6: Mm-hmm. Yeah.
- 52:19Speaker 2: I mean, I heard on Clay and Buck, that's what
- 52:20Speaker 2: they were speculating, because when he took over or tried
- 52:24Speaker 2: to take over flying the plane was obviously not in
- 52:27Speaker 2: the beginning of the flight, but as it was getting
- 52:29Speaker 2: closer to Israel. So, I mean, it would be a
- 52:33Speaker 2: safe conclusion to draw, I think, don't you? Just based
- 52:37Speaker 2: on the actions.
- 52:38Speaker 11: Well, like I said, if people would sit down and
- 52:40Speaker 11: read the Koran, it would scare the hell out of them.
- 52:42Speaker 11: It did me. That's why, you know, because I was
- 52:45Speaker 11: trying to, you know, what these Islams would open up these,
- 52:49Speaker 11: you know, quick stops, you know, gas stations. I said,
- 52:53Speaker 11: what do these people, you know, what do they believe in?
- 52:56Speaker 11: And then I started reading them going, oh, my God.
- 52:59Speaker 2: So, I thought to myself, Do you think that something
- 53:03Speaker 2: like this action today on this airplane will change people's
- 53:08Speaker 2: opinion about what Trump's doing with Iran?
- 53:11Speaker 11: Well, I think if the media in Michigan puts it on,
- 53:15Speaker 11: the outside, whatever its name is, won't win. Yeah, and
- 53:21Speaker 11: same with FICA, you know?
- 53:24Speaker 3: It is interesting.
- 53:25Speaker 2: I mean, when you see some of the people that
- 53:28Speaker 2: the Democrats are voting for, I mean, as Bill Maher says,
- 53:34Speaker 2: they're just crazy anymore. And I think, and here's Bill Maher,
- 53:37Speaker 2: the guy that's usually represented the more liberal side of
- 53:41Speaker 2: the Democrat Party, calling the party crazy.
- 53:44Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 53:46Speaker 11: I mean, look at the raging Cajun. Look what he said.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Well, he's just more bizarre every day you see him.
- 53:56Speaker 2: I don't know if he's crazy or what. I don't
- 53:59Speaker 2: know what to make of him.
- 54:02Speaker 11: He's a raging Cajun. Always was like that. That's why
- 54:06Speaker 11: Clinton hired him.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean, if you go by the raging Cajun, Carville,
- 54:12Speaker 2: he always said it's the economy, stupid. So Trump has
- 54:16Speaker 2: a lot to worry about because the economy's not.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Doing so good.
- 54:20Speaker 11: Who trashed the economy?
- 54:22Speaker 6: Not Trump.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Well, a lot of people are going to say, well,
- 54:24Speaker 2: a lot of people are going to say Trump with
- 54:26Speaker 2: the Iran war and the energy prices have gone up.
- 54:29Speaker 6: No, no, no, no.
- 54:30Speaker 11: Biden destroyed our dollar. Remember, he just kept on borrowing money.
- 54:35Speaker 6: Remember?
- 54:35Speaker 2: Okay, so the Iran situation didn't have anything to do
- 54:38Speaker 2: with your energy prices.
- 54:42Speaker 11: Well, he's trying to keep that at ease. You know, listen,
- 54:46Speaker 11: out of all the presidents... Trump's the lowest oil, 90 bucks,
- 54:53Speaker 11: out of all the other presidents. I just saw a chart.
- 54:59Speaker 3: You saw a chart?
- 55:01Speaker 11: Yeah, that showed presidents and the price of oil when
- 55:04Speaker 11: they were, the highest point of the price of oil
- 55:07Speaker 11: when they were president.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:09Speaker 11: And Trump was the lowest.
- 55:13Speaker 6: So don't base.
- 55:14Speaker 11: The gas you're paying at the gas pump On the
- 55:17Speaker 11: oil in Iran.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but if oil is a part of making gasoline
- 55:24Speaker 2: and diesel, what do you mean don't base it on that?
- 55:27Speaker 2: I understand you've got a refining issue that's going on,
- 55:30Speaker 2: but if you're trying to imply the price of a
- 55:32Speaker 2: barrel of Earl, as they say in Texas, doesn't affect
- 55:35Speaker 2: the cost of a gallon of gasoline or diesel, then
- 55:38Speaker 2: you're a damn fool.
- 55:39Speaker 3: Of course it doesn't.
- 55:40Speaker 11: No, I'm not saying it doesn't affect it. I'm saying
- 55:42Speaker 11: that it shouldn't be this high. Gas should not be
- 55:46Speaker 11: this high.
- 55:49Speaker 3: Well, it is. Well, you say it shouldn't be. It
- 55:51Speaker 3: doesn't matter.
- 55:52Speaker 2: It is.
- 55:53Speaker 11: Okay.
- 55:54Speaker 3: What do you mean? I mean, that's the reality.
- 55:57Speaker 4: It is.
- 55:58Speaker 3: It's okay to say, I agree, it shouldn't be this high.
- 56:00Speaker 3: But it is. Okay.
- 56:02Speaker 2: Because that's just the way it is as a result
- 56:04Speaker 2: of this situation in Iran.
- 56:06Speaker 3: No.
- 56:07Speaker 11: Now you keep on saying that.
- 56:09Speaker 3: Well, that's a problem. You don't think that's the problem?
- 56:14Speaker 13: No.
- 56:16Speaker 3: S & P 500 falls.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Wednesday, that's today, despite softer than expected inflation data, or data,
- 56:22Speaker 2: depending on what you prefer. Index posts losing September for
- 56:27Speaker 2: your S & P. So the S & P is down, what,
- 56:30Speaker 2: 19 today? The Dow is down 443. NASDAQ's up.
- 56:31Speaker 6: So.
- 56:37Speaker 3: We shall see.
- 56:38Speaker 2: I mean, we shall see what happens. I mean, listen,
- 56:41Speaker 2: there's a long way between now and November, right? I mean,
- 56:45Speaker 2: we still got, what is it, end of September? Going
- 56:47Speaker 2: to be October tomorrow. So we got, what, October? Well,
- 56:52Speaker 2: I guess it isn't that far away. He's got another
- 56:56Speaker 2: month to get things turned around, right?
- 56:59Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm on it.
- 57:01Speaker 19: Right.
- 57:01Speaker 3: I mean, so, I mean, he's got a month to
- 57:03Speaker 3: get things turned around.
- 57:05Speaker 4: And.
- 57:07Speaker 3: Can he do it?
- 57:08Speaker 11: Yeah, he'll be able to do it.
- 57:10Speaker 6: Don't worry, Ron.
- 57:11Speaker 3: All right.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Sometimes you can be visionary, and sometimes you can just
- 57:15Speaker 2: be plain nuts. Let's hope this time you're visionary.
- 57:18Speaker 11: I'm not nuts.
- 57:19Speaker 6: I just told you yes.
- 57:20Speaker 3: I said sometimes you are. Not all the time. I
- 57:24Speaker 3: said sometimes. All right.
- 57:25Speaker 12: Thanks.
- 57:25Speaker 3: He's all upset.
- 57:28Speaker 2: He's very emotional these days. Bubba Ganoush, you're on the air.
- 57:32Speaker 19: Hey, Ron.
- 57:34Speaker 7: Hey.
- 57:35Speaker 33: Here's the problem dealing with these terrorists, and it's been
- 57:38Speaker 33: for centuries. We keep referring to them, you know, Islam.
- 57:43Speaker 3: As a religion.
- 57:44Speaker 33: Islam cloaks itself in a religion. What Islam really is,
- 57:49Speaker 33: is a form of government. It is how they rule
- 57:51Speaker 33: and control nations, and Islam can never coexist with Christianity
- 57:58Speaker 33: or any other, or Judaism, or any other religion in
- 58:01Speaker 33: the world. They are at war with every other religion
- 58:04Speaker 33: because their religious book tells them so and they follow
- 58:09Speaker 33: that book and they roll by that book they hang
- 58:11Speaker 33: their people they throw their people off of the roofs
- 58:13Speaker 33: of buildings it's a radical form of government cloaked in
- 58:18Speaker 33: religion as soon as we start addressing it as a
- 58:21Speaker 33: form of government and attack it and go to war
- 58:24Speaker 33: with it and eliminate it till we do that there
- 58:27Speaker 33: will never be peace with this form of government.
- 58:32Speaker 3: So what do we do.
- 58:39Speaker 11: The peaceful ones that want to live in peace with
- 58:42Speaker 11: the Jews, with the Christians, with the atheists, we all
- 58:47Speaker 11: live in peace. If they don't want to live in.
- 58:50Speaker 33: Peace, let Allah sort it out.
- 58:54Speaker 11: Send them to Allah, let Allah figure it out. I mean,
- 58:58Speaker 11: this co-pilot, the right seat, okay, this guy had no
- 59:03Speaker 11: business being in the right seat.
- 59:06Speaker 25: You know?
- 59:06Speaker 33: Somewhere along the line, I'm sure there's red flags that
- 59:09Speaker 33: this guy was.
- 59:10Speaker 12: nuts, but, you know, they kept putting him in the.
- 59:13Speaker 11: Seat and he kept flying planes until today when he's
- 59:16Speaker 11: going to fly that plane into something in Jerusalem.
- 59:20Speaker 33: Or do something else. We don't know what he was
- 59:23Speaker 33: going to do, but couldn't.
- 59:25Speaker 6: Have been good.
- 59:27Speaker 10: No.
- 59:27Speaker 2: I mean, I would like to know more about that guy,
- 59:29Speaker 2: wouldn't you? I'd like to know more information about... Will
- 59:34Speaker 2: the media tell us more about this co-pilot that did it?
- 59:38Speaker 2: Where's he from? What's his name? What's his background? I
- 59:43Speaker 2: want to know more.
- 59:44Speaker 3: I want to know absolutely more.
- 59:47Speaker 33: I'm sure there is certain media out there that will
- 59:50Speaker 33: tell you more. And that's where the world is divided,
- 59:53Speaker 33: because there's going to be certain media that's going to
- 59:55Speaker 33: tell you about this guy, and then there's going to
- 59:57Speaker 33: be the other side of media that's going to say,
- 1:00:00Speaker 33: fake news, don't believe it, he's peaceful, peaceful Islamist, you know,
- 1:00:05Speaker 33: and they're attacking him because they don't like his religion.
- 1:00:08Speaker 33: It's not his religion, it's his political beliefs. His political
- 1:00:12Speaker 33: beliefs follow the Koran.
- 1:00:13Speaker 11: It says, kill everybody.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: All right. I mean, and he damn near did today
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: take a plane down. I mean, what heroic action.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: So as you read more about this this afternoon, I mean,
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: I'm looking at Netanyahu with the guy that grabbed the co-pilot,
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: if you will, by the neck and drug him out
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: of the cockpit. And, I mean, what an amazing act
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: of heroism by many people on that plane. I mean,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: because really seconds matter. Would you not agree when it's
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: dropping that fast?
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: Totally agree.
- 1:00:53Speaker 33: That man right there earned his man card. This world
- 1:00:58Speaker 33: is so short on real men.
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:01:01Speaker 33: No, Ron, I'm serious. How many men do you know
- 1:01:05Speaker 33: would sit there and cower in his seat and start
- 1:01:08Speaker 33: crying like a little girl instead of taking his seatbelt off? Hey,
- 1:01:12Speaker 33: you're not supposed to take your seatbelt off while it's
- 1:01:14Speaker 33: in flight. Well, they're kind of taking over the cockpit. Well,
- 1:01:16Speaker 33: I'm not going to leave my seatbelt on. I'm going
- 1:01:18Speaker 33: up front. We don't have a lot of people like that.
- 1:01:22Speaker 33: And when you are that personality, a lot of people
- 1:01:25Speaker 33: look down on you.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: You're brash.
- 1:01:27Speaker 33: You're obnoxious. Well, that dude earned his man card today.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: There's no doubt about it.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: How about you? Did you earn yours today?
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: Oh, dude, I earn mine every day.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: Are you sure?
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: I mean, that guy earned it.
- 1:01:45Speaker 33: Let me line up the people that find me brash
- 1:01:49Speaker 33: and outspoken. That line goes down around the block, down
- 1:01:52Speaker 33: the corner, way down the interstate.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: I'm just curious. I mean, you're saying that guy earned his.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: I don't think you earned yours today. You sound a
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: little wishy-washy to me today.
- 1:02:05Speaker 33: I'm trying to be nice, Ron. I'm on the radio.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: That doesn't matter.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Listen, you don't have to be nice. You can be yourself.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: You sound a little uncertain, wishy-washy. So I don't think
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: you earned your man card today.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: I'm going to say no.
- 1:02:22Speaker 11: All right.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Maybe tomorrow.
- 1:02:24Speaker 11: We still have time left.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right. It's only four o'clock. You better get
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: busy before you go home.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: All right? See you later.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: That guy earned his man card. That guy did earn
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: his man card on the plane today. I mean, it's
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: really something when I read that. I mean, it's a
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: hell of a story. I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: It's just a hell of a story when you read
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: what's took place. I mean, those people, you get off
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: that plane, you'd be just so thankful that you're alive,
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: you're on the air.
- 1:03:02Speaker 13: Yeah, I was wanting to comment about the plane issue.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:03:07Speaker 13: The whole plane was full of Israelis who all go
- 1:03:10Speaker 13: to the military at the age of 18, men and women,
- 1:03:13Speaker 13: so they didn't panic. They took control of the plane,
- 1:03:15Speaker 13: they took control of the situation, and it has a
- 1:03:18Speaker 13: lot to do with the military training that they all
- 1:03:20Speaker 13: go through in that country.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Probably so, right? I mean, it's hard to say. It
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: didn't have anything to do with it. I mean, obviously,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: I want more details about everything. I mean, I saw
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Netanyahu with the passenger who got in a cockpit and
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: grabbed the terrorist co-pilot and.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: Drug him out of there.
- 1:03:45Speaker 13: Could you imagine if it was an airplane full of
- 1:03:47Speaker 13: American kids with blue hair and nose rings? They'd all
- 1:03:50Speaker 13: be having a panic attack and they'd go down in flames, right?
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Describe those American kids again. They have blue hair and
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: nose rings, did you say?
- 1:04:02Speaker 12: Yes, blue hair, nose rings.
- 1:04:03Speaker 13: They don't know if they're a boy, a girl, a cat,
- 1:04:05Speaker 13: a dog, a mouse.
- 1:04:05Speaker 11: They're crazy.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: I don't know. You're absolutely right. I'm going to give
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: you an aye, Captain. That is what's wrong today. We
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: have feminized our men way too much.
- 1:04:18Speaker 12: Look at the military.
- 1:04:19Speaker 13: They put men in dresses and beards and said that
- 1:04:22Speaker 13: they were generals. And I was watching CNN today. And
- 1:04:27Speaker 13: they're covering Pete Hegseth, how he wants to make the military,
- 1:04:29Speaker 13: you know, testosterone ready and fit ready. And they're bitching
- 1:04:33Speaker 13: and complaining about him. I'm like, oh, dear Lord, help.
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: Us all. You're right.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: So you're sitting there saying, okay, so how is that
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: bad in the military?
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: Can you tell me?
- 1:04:52Speaker 13: Well, if you have blue hair and nose rings and
- 1:04:55Speaker 13: you're a guy with a beard and want to wear
- 1:04:56Speaker 13: a dress, it's a problem, Ron.
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: Come on, it's a problem.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: I know that's a problem, but I'm seeing the people
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: that say, whatever, Pete is doing the wrong thing. I mean,
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: it seems like, isn't that how the military should be?
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Is that what they train you for?
- 1:05:12Speaker 12: Absolutely.
- 1:05:13Speaker 13: I want men to come to my house that are
- 1:05:15Speaker 13: fit and ready to fight when you call an ambulance
- 1:05:18Speaker 13: to fire, you know, police.
- 1:05:19Speaker 20: I don't want some.
- 1:05:21Speaker 13: You know what I'm.
- 1:05:21Speaker 11: Saying, Ron.
- 1:05:23Speaker 13: We want men in our country. Women want men.
- 1:05:26Speaker 12: Real men.
- 1:05:26Speaker 11: It's true.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: All right. Thanks for calling.
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: Have a good day.
- 1:05:37Speaker 12: Bye-bye.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: There you go. See, she's telling you guys. Stop.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Be a real man. That's what she's saying. Women want
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: a real man. That's what they're looking for. Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi. 422
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: in the afternoon. Ron Verp from the Kingdom of Mahoning
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: on News Radio 570 WKBN 330-729-9977.
- 1:05:54Speaker 18: 330-729-9977.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: 100 years ago in 19... Weather and Talk Station 570 WKBN. Well,
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: there you go.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Now you've found out what women are looking for. You're
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: on the air. Military candy stripers.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Women are looking for a real man, a guy that
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: goes out there and straightens the bricks up in a
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: driveway one by one.
- 1:06:24Speaker 19: I called because the last guy said man card. That's
- 1:06:29Speaker 19: what I did. I laughed so hard.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: Well, he's right about it, though. That is a man.
- 1:06:33Speaker 34: Oh, for sure.
- 1:06:35Speaker 25: For sure.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: I mean, that was something else.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: There's Netanyahu talking to the guy, and he's got the
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: blood all over his T-shirt and everything.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: You know what I mean? But, of course, you've got
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: to admit the pilot was a man.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: The guy that was stabbed that was smart enough to say,
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: I've got to get this cockpit door open so I
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: can get some help in here. Because if I don't
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: get the door open, nobody's going to be able to
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: get in, and this guy's going to crash his plane.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: So if you think the pilot really got his man card,
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: the passenger that went in and drug the guy out
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: of there and then pulled the controls back, and then
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: the other guys that were pilots on that plane that
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: came up and took over.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: Remember, the plane is going down. It's not like you've
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: got a lot of time. You've got to act quick.
- 1:07:17Speaker 19: There are heroes among us, man, for sure.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Yep, and these guys, there would be many on that
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: plane that fall into that category.
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:07:28Speaker 19: Yeah, I just heard that. I just heard man card,
- 1:07:31Speaker 19: and I've been listening in.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: So when you heard man card, you thought of yourself
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: right away, right? Oh, man card, I've got to call.
- 1:07:41Speaker 12: Well, you know what, Ron?
- 1:07:42Speaker 19: That's interesting you bring that up, though. I told you
- 1:07:45Speaker 19: recently that I have become independent. For years, I used
- 1:07:49Speaker 19: to be a Democrat. I've been asking myself, well, why
- 1:07:52Speaker 19: am I independent? What made me to say that that
- 1:07:57Speaker 19: party didn't have anything that I need? And every time
- 1:08:02Speaker 19: I vote, I want to hear all about the issues
- 1:08:05Speaker 19: that somebody feels about, and then I'll decide. You know,
- 1:08:08Speaker 19: one of the biggest things, there were probably a number
- 1:08:10Speaker 19: of different things we discussed, but when they started that
- 1:08:13Speaker 19: defund the police thing, combined with the immigration.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: I.
- 1:08:20Speaker 19: Was just like, what are you going to do? Hire
- 1:08:24Speaker 19: gangs to run the government now? Is this what you're advocating?
- 1:08:28Speaker 19: Because that's what it is. I was just like, you
- 1:08:30Speaker 19: make no sense. No responsibility.
- 1:08:32Speaker 30: I don't know.
- 1:08:34Speaker 19: These Democrats are not the same guys. That I had
- 1:08:38Speaker 19: a lot of respect for that are probably either very
- 1:08:41Speaker 19: old now or not even with us anymore. And I
- 1:08:44Speaker 19: don't know what's happening with that party. But it doesn't
- 1:08:47Speaker 19: mean I'm a Republican. It just means I'm not a Democrat.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but let me ask you this, though, because you
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: can give me some great insights. I agree with everything
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: that you've said so far as I hang on to
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: your every word.
- 1:08:58Speaker 11: But.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: explain to me then why they say here's here's Amy Acton,
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: a Democrat, and she's a head of Vivek for governor
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: in the state of Ohio. She won't debate. She refuses
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: to debate Vivek. She won't debate him at all. And
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: I'm thinking, well, wait a minute. You want to be governor,
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: and this race isn't a blowout exactly. Why won't you
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: debate your opponent?
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: I don't understand.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Don't you think the voters of Ohio deserve something like that?
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: So she won't debate him, and she quit being the
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: doctor of the state when the going got tough.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: She just quit. She walked away.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: So you explain to me how somebody like that I mean,
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: is it just Democrats say, oh, I got to vote
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: for her because she's a Democrat?
- 1:09:45Speaker 12: Really?
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Well, I don't get it.
- 1:09:47Speaker 19: These candidates make me... It's like the Houston brown race, too.
- 1:09:53Speaker 19: It's the lesser of two evils, so you have to
- 1:09:56Speaker 19: choose an evil. And I just think that there's a
- 1:09:59Speaker 19: number of those people that, because she's a woman or
- 1:10:05Speaker 19: because she's not... a Republican or, you know, doesn't like
- 1:10:08Speaker 19: Trump or something at all. One of the things, it's
- 1:10:11Speaker 19: like that. Like, I don't know how many people are
- 1:10:13Speaker 19: actually really stoked about voting for her.
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: Or Vivek.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean, that's your choice.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: I mean, I can appreciate your deep insight on that,
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: but it's your choice.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: It's one of the two.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Like I said, clearly to me, I mean, I'll vote
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: for Vivek because I just think he's way, first of all,
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: he's not a far lefter. All right. I mean, I
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: can't you won't debate him. You left when the covid
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: thing was going on. And we know you're kind of
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: a far left lib Democrat. And that's not my cup
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: of tea. I don't want to get into once again,
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: what are your pronouns and all this craziness that they
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: stand for? There's no way I can vote for her.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: And likewise with Sherrod Brown. Explain that to me. Sherrod
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: Brown's even further ahead. Now, I'm not a fan of
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: John Husted, but he's a Republican.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Stand by. Stand by.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: It's a guru out of Girard that can explain things
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: to me.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: He's got some explaining to do when we come back.
- 1:11:12Speaker 9: News Radio 570 WKVN. Both the.
- 1:11:18Speaker 31: Ohio House and the Senate have overwhelmingly approved suspending the
- 1:11:22Speaker 31: state's gas tax for 90 days. It will mean about
- 1:11:26Speaker 31: a 38-cent-a-gallon break on gas and about 47 cents relief
- 1:11:31Speaker 31: on a gallon of diesel. The package now goes to
- 1:11:34Speaker 31: Governor DeWine, who is reportedly going to sign this gas
- 1:11:38Speaker 31: tax holiday, which may go into effect as soon as
- 1:11:41Speaker 31: this week. Republican State Representative Andrea White of Kettering sponsored it.
- 1:11:47Speaker 22: A year ago today, the price of gas averaged $ 2.
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: 87 a gallon.
- 1:11:50Speaker 30: Yesterday, it was $ 4.
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: 32.
- 1:11:50Speaker 28: Last year, diesel was $ 3.
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: 67 a gallon.
- 1:11:52Speaker 22: Yesterday, it was $ 6. 73.
- 1:12:02Speaker 31: The state of Ohio can afford this gas tax holiday
- 1:12:05Speaker 31: because of a budget surplus.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: I'm Matt Reese.
- 1:12:08Speaker 17: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
- 1:12:12Speaker 17: and sports radio.
- 1:12:14Speaker 9: Podcasts, too.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: Download the app.
- 1:12:16Speaker 9: Free never sounded so good. From the A to Z
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: Dependable Services Traffic Center. Septic, plumbing, heating, cooling, and drain cleaning.
- 1:12:24Speaker 9: 570 traffic.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: Good news.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb. On News Radio 570, WKBN.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Well, good afternoon. What a terrific day we got going
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: on here in the kingdom of Mahoning. On this Wednesday,
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: September 30th, it's 74 degrees. These are just perfect days
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: right now. Just so pleasant to be outside. Days obviously
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: getting shorter, but outside of all of that, not bad, right?
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: As we get closer to October and fall and all
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: that good jazz.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: You're on the air. Hang on, I've got to go
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: back to Mike, the guru of Gerard, I should say.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: I shouldn't call him Mike. Guru, are you there?
- 1:13:06Speaker 19: Yes, sir.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: All right, so let me get it straight.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: So you've officially became an independent because the Democrat Party
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: was too wacko for you, right?
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: Even Bill Maher is saying they're crazy.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: Correct?
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty much.
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah. All right.
- 1:13:20Speaker 19: I mean, it was more detailed than wacko, but.
- 1:13:24Speaker 24: Right.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: OK.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: And you take a look at like Sherrod Brown is
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: ahead in the polls and there's not with my vote.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: I'll never vote for him. Now, you mentioned about Houston.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: I'm not enthusiastically voting for Houston, but he's the lesser
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: of two evils. I don't have a problem with saying, OK,
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: I got to make a choice here and I'm going
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: to choose a guy that's not as crazy as the
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: other one, which is Sherrod Brown, who went with Biden
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: on all this crazy stuff. I wouldn't vote for him.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: I mean, it's a pretty easy decision to make. I
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: don't want far left Amy Acton. This is an easy
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: decision to make. There's no way. When I see people
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: with Sherrod Brown, Amy Acton signs in their yard, I
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: think they're lunatics.
- 1:14:07Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: Sometimes I stop and I knock on a door and say,
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: are you a lunatic?
- 1:14:15Speaker 19: And they go, are you on verb?
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: No, they don't do that.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: They say, get off my property before I call the cops. No,
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: I mean, everybody's entitled to their opinion. But tell me
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: something that, I mean, Amy Acton, she left during COVID.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: The state doctor left. She couldn't take the heat, got
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: out of the kitchen. So now you want her to
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: be your governor? She won't debate Vivek.
- 1:14:38Speaker 20: At all.
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: What does this tell you? Aren't these like warning signs
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: to say.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: Maybe this ain't the person I should be voting for,
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: putting a sign in my yard for. Are you aware
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: of this? Do you know that? That's what I'm, that's
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: what I'm here to say. You know, how about my
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: Sherrod Brown side? He's been around forever, but he supported
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: all this crap that Biden supported.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: Were you for an open border? Were you for the,
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: give me your pronouns.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: Were you for the transgenderism craziness and all this stuff?
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: That's Sherrod Brown. He's a far left liberal wacko too.
- 1:15:09Speaker 19: I actually remember feeling kind of afraid back when Biden
- 1:15:13Speaker 19: was president, like in my own country, you know, to
- 1:15:16Speaker 19: speak around, like, really, I don't mind.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: I mean, as much as I can criticize Trump in general,
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: he's done a lot of good things for this country. Now,
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: I hope this war, I always put the comment, I
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: don't know what Trump and Rubio know and what these
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: guys know. I mean, we can all have opinions, but
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: we don't know what they know. But the reality is,
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: I wish you would have ever got involved in this situation.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: I wish we could conclude it. And he would focus
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: on the American agenda and get back to the economy.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: But under no circumstances would I vote for in the
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: midterms of Democrats. I mean, why would I want Democrats
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: to corrupt any future things that Trump would do for
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: the benefit of the American people in the country?
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: Why would I want that?
- 1:16:03Speaker 19: It would be a good thing if the candidates got
- 1:16:05Speaker 19: together and discussed it.
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: We could watch.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: Oh, absolutely.
- 1:16:09Speaker 19: Ask those very questions.
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:16:11Speaker 19: Like anybody that, that's why I can't vote for her.
- 1:16:13Speaker 19: She's not serious. I'm not, you know, I can't. debate
- 1:16:18Speaker 19: him right i mean you're acting like a week you're
- 1:16:21Speaker 19: acting like a weakling height person that hides they're the
- 1:16:24Speaker 19: they're the complete opposite type people he's right in your
- 1:16:26Speaker 19: face sometimes i like it sometimes they don't um but
- 1:16:30Speaker 19: she's the exact opposite like you know i mean one
- 1:16:33Speaker 19: guy walked up to talk to her he gets arrested
- 1:16:35Speaker 19: can't debate you know like seriously what do you think
- 1:16:37Speaker 19: she's gonna when you got a problem and you're gonna
- 1:16:40Speaker 19: contact the governor what do you think she's gonna do
- 1:16:43Speaker 19: I don't know. Oh, come in and talk to me, because,
- 1:16:47Speaker 19: you know, I talk, it's okay. If you believe that, like,
- 1:16:51Speaker 19: I don't even care anymore, Ron. Like, what's it, they're
- 1:16:54Speaker 19: all going to borrow a bunch of money, print the
- 1:16:56Speaker 19: dollar into nothing, and then run around and scream at
- 1:16:59Speaker 19: each other about who's spending all the money. You know,
- 1:17:01Speaker 19: I mean, that's why I've lost all anticipation that this
- 1:17:06Speaker 19: will work out nice, because nobody is addressing the real problem.
- 1:17:10Speaker 19: It's just running around trying to solve the effects of
- 1:17:13Speaker 19: not solving the real problem. And so, I don't know,
- 1:17:17Speaker 19: you know, but if I, lesser of two evils, probably
- 1:17:20Speaker 19: governor is probably, oh, you have to say this. If
- 1:17:23Speaker 19: I say this, Ron, I need you to say this
- 1:17:25Speaker 19: at least 50 times.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:17:28Speaker 19: Vivek.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: I thought I said Vivek.
- 1:17:32Speaker 19: No, you say Vivek. It's Vivek.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: Okay, Vivek. See what I mean? I want to make
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: sure I drive you crazy that my.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: Goal is to get on your news.
- 1:17:46Speaker 19: 50 times on a blackboard.
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: Oh, I see how it is, Professor. I see how
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: things are going now. Well, that's who I'm voting for.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: How about, I love it when people call him Sherrod Brown.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: I think that's the best.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: Sherrod.
- 1:18:01Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:18:03Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:18:03Speaker 19: Like, just kind of people.
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:18:07Speaker 19: I try to treat people like I like to be treated.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:18:11Speaker 19: That's my name.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: You're a new man. Yeah. All right. He's a guru
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: of Gerard. He's always got great insights.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: He's making his property values skyrocket down there, making the
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: neighborhood look better, doing all these home improvements.
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: I mean, it's very impressive. I think you've earned your
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: man card, too, like that guy was saying earlier.
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: What?
- 1:18:30Speaker 19: Oh, I got to give it to my neighbors, too, man.
- 1:18:33Speaker 19: They're jumping in, and this whole neighborhood, it's rubbing off
- 1:18:36Speaker 19: because this whole neighborhood is going up rather than going down. Yeah.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: How old are you now, Guru? Come on.
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: 63.
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: What?
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: 63.
- 1:18:47Speaker 19: I had to think about it. I don't remember.
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: 63.
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: So, I mean, you're making your house look good. You're
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: enjoying your life.
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: This is beautiful. I couldn't be happier for you.
- 1:19:01Speaker 14: Hey.
- 1:19:02Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:19:02Speaker 19: You know, we're on with everything going on in the
- 1:19:04Speaker 19: economy right now.
- 1:19:05Speaker 6: This is a hobby.
- 1:19:06Speaker 19: It doesn't cost much. It's keeping me in shape. I
- 1:19:09Speaker 19: go to see my doctor.
- 1:19:10Speaker 20: He's like, wow, what are you doing?
- 1:19:11Speaker 19: You're losing weight. You're keeping your numbers down and everything.
- 1:19:15Speaker 19: Chip and bricks, doc.
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: Right. It's like prison labor.
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: Every day.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: All right, Michael.
- 1:19:20Speaker 11: Yeah, that.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: All right, see you.
- 1:19:22Speaker 19: See you.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: News Radio 570 WDQ.
- 1:19:23Speaker 8: And you're on air.
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: Wait a minute. I made a mistake. Hang on. Are
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: you there?
- 1:19:28Speaker 9: Hang on.
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: I'm here.
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: Oh, go ahead, Alec.
- 1:19:32Speaker 30: Oh, well, you know, I didn't hear anything about this
- 1:19:34Speaker 30: plane thing today. It was at work all day. I'll
- 1:19:36Speaker 30: have to catch up on it.
- 1:19:37Speaker 10: But.
- 1:19:39Speaker 30: You guys were talking about the dumb and dumber signs.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:19:43Speaker 30: The Amy Acton, Sherrod Brown signs. I mean, how can
- 1:19:49Speaker 30: you not debate somebody? I mean, that should just be
- 1:19:53Speaker 30: a prerequisite.
- 1:19:55Speaker 8: If you can't even debate.
- 1:19:56Speaker 30: The person you're running against, you just can't run. I mean,
- 1:19:59Speaker 30: right there. Even if it was the other way around,
- 1:20:01Speaker 30: if Vivek wasn't going to debate her and she wanted to,
- 1:20:04Speaker 30: I'd say, you know, what the heck is he hiding?
- 1:20:06Speaker 30: What is he afraid of? If he can't even debate
- 1:20:08Speaker 30: the competition, How's he going to run the whole state?
- 1:20:11Speaker 30: I mean, right there, that just shows everything. You could
- 1:20:14Speaker 30: throw the flip side of that. Trump didn't debate anybody
- 1:20:17Speaker 30: going in for the Republican nominee, but he won every
- 1:20:20Speaker 30: state by like 80%.
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: He didn't need to debate. There was nothing to debate.
- 1:20:23Speaker 30: He was already going to win.
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: This is a close race.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. It's a very close race. She's ahead, but
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: not by a landslide.
- 1:20:31Speaker 30: We'll see what happens once it gets closer. There's always
- 1:20:37Speaker 30: something hidden in somebody's back pocket to release some kind
- 1:20:40Speaker 30: of news, something or other, right at the end, right
- 1:20:43Speaker 30: before the midterms, right before the election, you name it.
- 1:20:45Speaker 30: So still a long way to go. I don't doubt
- 1:20:48Speaker 30: that the Republicans have something in their back pocket still
- 1:20:50Speaker 30: for gas prices closer to the election. Waiting for a deal.
- 1:20:54Speaker 30: Is there a deal this week? Is there a deal
- 1:20:56Speaker 30: next week? Is there actually a deal? And they don't
- 1:20:58Speaker 30: want the deal to come out now. You'd rather have
- 1:21:00Speaker 30: the deal come out right before the election so that
- 1:21:03Speaker 30: gas prices come down.
- 1:21:04Speaker 19: Who knows?
- 1:21:05Speaker 30: Can you thread that needle even if you.
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: Have the idea?
- 1:21:07Speaker 30: I have no clue. But, you know, we've got a
- 1:21:10Speaker 30: lot going on. Trump, you know, he's doing a lot
- 1:21:12Speaker 30: of things, even though we can argue all the things
- 1:21:15Speaker 30: that he hasn't done or hasn't accomplished 100%. You've got
- 1:21:18Speaker 30: to think what the opposite would be, as we talk
- 1:21:20Speaker 30: about all the time, but not just the president itself.
- 1:21:22Speaker 30: Just think about the cabinet. Think of all the appointees,
- 1:21:25Speaker 30: the Supreme Court justices. If you had Kamala Harris in
- 1:21:28Speaker 30: there for all the things you could say wrong about
- 1:21:30Speaker 30: Donald Trump, everybody Donald Trump's really put in there, you know,
- 1:21:34Speaker 30: I'm happy with. I could not even imagine what Kamala
- 1:21:37Speaker 30: Harris would have had in there.
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:21:39Speaker 11: It would be a nightmare.
- 1:21:41Speaker 30: So just like the state, it's not just Amy acting
- 1:21:44Speaker 30: around it. Who is she going to put into her
- 1:21:47Speaker 30: sphere of influence around her? Who's going to put themselves
- 1:21:51Speaker 30: in her sphere of influence? Because she doesn't seem like
- 1:21:53Speaker 30: a very strong woman to me.
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:21:55Speaker 30: You can get a man card. You can get a
- 1:21:57Speaker 30: woman card. I don't know if she has one. But
- 1:22:00Speaker 30: like you said, she gave up when the going got
- 1:22:02Speaker 30: tough once. Who's to say she's not going to do
- 1:22:05Speaker 30: it again?
- 1:22:05Speaker 35: I have no clue.
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: I like Vivek.
- 1:22:08Speaker 30: Because I think he has higher aspirations. I think he
- 1:22:10Speaker 30: wants to do as good for this state as humanly
- 1:22:13Speaker 30: possible so he could put it on his resume if
- 1:22:15Speaker 30: he wants to run for president again. I like things
- 1:22:18Speaker 30: like that. I don't want somebody to just get the
- 1:22:20Speaker 30: job just to be there. I love Jim Trestle, but
- 1:22:22Speaker 30: I don't know what he's done as basically, you know,
- 1:22:24Speaker 30: the vice president of Ohio. I don't even know what
- 1:22:27Speaker 30: you call his position.
- 1:22:28Speaker 12: He hasn't really done anything.
- 1:22:29Speaker 30: I haven't seen anything about all of these refugees or
- 1:22:32Speaker 30: all these Somalians in Columbus or everybody down in Dayton.
- 1:22:36Speaker 30: What's going on with all that?
- 1:22:38Speaker 19: I have no clue.
- 1:22:38Speaker 30: You don't hear anything about it.
- 1:22:40Speaker 12: You don't hear a lot of things that, you know.
- 1:22:42Speaker 30: Happened the week before. The news moves on to something else.
- 1:22:44Speaker 30: Things get swept under the rug. What about the whole
- 1:22:47Speaker 30: Amy Acton thing that happened at Canfield Fair? There's apparently
- 1:22:50Speaker 30: a video out there. Why haven't we seen it? Why
- 1:22:52Speaker 30: hasn't that been released? Why don't we know the information?
- 1:22:55Speaker 30: Who's hiding it?
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: Who has it?
- 1:22:56Speaker 30: Who would benefit from it? So many questions that we
- 1:22:59Speaker 30: would all benefit as a listening audience and the people
- 1:23:01Speaker 30: to be able to see, but we don't because we
- 1:23:05Speaker 30: go to work all day and then we try to
- 1:23:07Speaker 30: do things on the weekend, spend some time with our family,
- 1:23:10Speaker 30: and we all got to do our laundry and go
- 1:23:12Speaker 30: to bed. So what are we left to do? They
- 1:23:15Speaker 30: don't give us the information, so it's hard to go
- 1:23:16Speaker 30: out and really vote and be an informed voter. Maybe
- 1:23:19Speaker 30: the people listening to this show are pretty well informed.
- 1:23:22Speaker 30: Did you get Dane Davis on?
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: Listen, I have called him, and he was scheduled to
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: come on, and then he had to back out. So, yes,
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: I did follow up on that. So I will text
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: him again. Although, I know you've been out of the
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: loop because you're out there making a living. But Dave
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: Thomas texted me, and he said, we just passed a
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: 90-day gas tax holiday, hoping DeWine signs it. And the
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: newscast was saying that they did it. So 90 days,
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: that's three months where they would take the 30-something cents
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: off a gallon of your gas. gas that you put
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: in your car. And it's even more off of a
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: gallon of diesel. So they say that they passed it
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: and all you need is DeWine to sign it and
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: it could kick in next week.
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: So that's not bad. I mean, that's a significant cut.
- 1:24:10Speaker 9: It's not bad.
- 1:24:10Speaker 19: It helps.
- 1:24:11Speaker 30: But then, you know, I got to ask myself, well,
- 1:24:13Speaker 30: if we could take a how many day holiday from
- 1:24:15Speaker 30: the gas tax?
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: Three months, 90 day.
- 1:24:18Speaker 9: Three months.
- 1:24:18Speaker 30: So why do we, I mean, what's this gas tax?
- 1:24:20Speaker 30: If we're fiscally able to take a 90 day reprieve
- 1:24:25Speaker 30: from this tax, what are we paying it for in
- 1:24:27Speaker 30: the first place? I would only assume that our taxes
- 1:24:29Speaker 30: should go to things that we need, right? That's a joke.
- 1:24:33Speaker 30: But it's just everything's getting so out of control. Look,
- 1:24:37Speaker 30: have you seen 10-year interest rates, 30-year interest rates?
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: Yes, they went up. They're going up for 10-year.
- 1:24:45Speaker 30: They're not just going up. They're going up. They're going
- 1:24:48Speaker 30: almost parabolic. Everybody, well, what's the difference between 4.5 and... 5.3.
- 1:24:53Speaker 30: That's really not a lot. It is when you're talking
- 1:24:55Speaker 30: about getting a 30-year mortgage. It is when you're talking
- 1:24:58Speaker 30: about being in your 20s, trying to start a family,
- 1:25:00Speaker 30: paying for your student loan debt, trying to have children.
- 1:25:05Speaker 30: Things are getting so out of hand now. The price
- 1:25:07Speaker 30: of homes are through the roof. Nobody needs to be
- 1:25:11Speaker 30: told that. You'll hear the same thing from any other caller. Say, well,
- 1:25:14Speaker 30: when I was young, I worked And you know what?
- 1:25:17Speaker 30: I put all the sweat, actually, in my home. Well,
- 1:25:19Speaker 30: you could have bought a cheap home in the 50s
- 1:25:22Speaker 30: at $ 13, 000, and your neighbors would have been normal. Now,
- 1:25:25Speaker 30: if you buy one of those cheap houses, you've got
- 1:25:26Speaker 30: to worry if the neighbor or the person down the
- 1:25:28Speaker 30: street is going to break into your house or shoot
- 1:25:30Speaker 30: across your yard or be a meth addict. So now
- 1:25:33Speaker 30: that option's not really there. Well, you could have four
- 1:25:36Speaker 30: kids and your wife could stay at home. Well, you
- 1:25:38Speaker 30: can't do that anymore. You have to have two incomes
- 1:25:41Speaker 30: to barely even survive to start a family.
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: You have two kids.
- 1:25:44Speaker 30: Well, everybody says, well, you know what? You're just, you
- 1:25:47Speaker 30: want too much. All these kids nowadays want big houses,
- 1:25:49Speaker 30: want all that.
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: Well, guess what?
- 1:25:51Speaker 30: In the 50s, they didn't make nice big homes. They
- 1:25:53Speaker 30: made starter homes. You can't get into starter homes anymore
- 1:25:57Speaker 30: because they're all owned by private equity or people that
- 1:26:00Speaker 30: rent them out. So when the houses are for rent
- 1:26:02Speaker 30: in the neighborhood, you don't take care of them because
- 1:26:05Speaker 30: you're renting it. Have you ever taken a rental car
- 1:26:07Speaker 30: through a car wash?
- 1:26:08Speaker 11: No.
- 1:26:08Speaker 30: So when you rent your home, you don't cut your grass.
- 1:26:10Speaker 30: You don't keep up on the roof. You don't do
- 1:26:12Speaker 30: all these things. And people from California own them, so
- 1:26:15Speaker 30: they don't care because they're getting the cash flow and
- 1:26:17Speaker 30: the revenue. So the whole town goes to heck, and
- 1:26:20Speaker 30: it makes it harder and harder for people to start
- 1:26:22Speaker 30: their careers, start their lives. And then everybody complains. I
- 1:26:26Speaker 30: was at work all day. I'm going to work to
- 1:26:28Speaker 30: pay for all the retirees' Social Security out there. I
- 1:26:31Speaker 30: know you don't like to hear that, but that's just
- 1:26:33Speaker 30: the fact of the matter. I'm paying for Social Security.
- 1:26:35Speaker 30: All these other guys out here, younger people, paying for
- 1:26:38Speaker 30: Social Security, paying for all these things, and we're still
- 1:26:41Speaker 30: not getting ahead the way we like to.
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: I love it when you get on a roll. I
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: got to tell you, that is like the highlight.
- 1:26:50Speaker 9: Of my damn day.
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: One thing after another.
- 1:26:52Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:26:54Speaker 30: I'm having a conversation with somebody today who's younger than me,
- 1:26:57Speaker 30: and they're going to have a good job eventually someday.
- 1:27:01Speaker 30: They're going to make good money, and they're just shaking
- 1:27:03Speaker 30: their head saying, I have no clue what I'm supposed
- 1:27:06Speaker 30: to do. And if somebody would say how much money
- 1:27:09Speaker 30: they're going to start making, I could have never dreamed
- 1:27:12Speaker 30: of making that much money when I was your age. Well, yeah,
- 1:27:15Speaker 30: that was when, you know, a Dairy Queen ice cream
- 1:27:18Speaker 30: cone cost a nickel. That's not how it works anymore.
- 1:27:22Speaker 30: We are going to either have, I don't know if
- 1:27:24Speaker 30: it's going to be a stock market crash where you
- 1:27:26Speaker 30: lose 50% of your money in your 401k, or you're
- 1:27:30Speaker 30: going to lose 50% of your money in your purchasing
- 1:27:32Speaker 30: power moving forward. But everybody calls in. Nobody's saying how
- 1:27:35Speaker 30: much better things are getting. You know, everybody's saying worse, worse, worse.
- 1:27:39Speaker 30: You know, I still like to look at the bright
- 1:27:41Speaker 30: side of things. Hopefully the war ends eventually. Hopefully Trump
- 1:27:45Speaker 30: is 5D chess. He's got it all planned out. Five
- 1:27:48Speaker 30: days before the midterms, he releases everything, and, you know,
- 1:27:51Speaker 30: everything's hunky-dory and good to go. We all don't think
- 1:27:54Speaker 30: that's really going to happen. But who's to say it won't?
- 1:27:57Speaker 30: Did you see the AI summit yesterday? Everybody who was
- 1:28:00Speaker 30: anybody was there. Apparently two weeks ago the world was
- 1:28:03Speaker 30: going to end, and now we're going to be okay.
- 1:28:06Speaker 30: I don't know what's going on. It's hard to follow,
- 1:28:11Speaker 30: and I'm pretty up to speed on all this stuff
- 1:28:13Speaker 30: with the AI thing, and even I can't follow because
- 1:28:16Speaker 30: everything changes day to day.
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: It's crazy. It's not AI anymore.
- 1:28:20Speaker 19: It's SI.
- 1:28:22Speaker 30: Yeah, and I've got to be honest with you. Again,
- 1:28:24Speaker 30: Donald Trump, I love most of the things he did. Incidentally,
- 1:28:28Speaker 30: one of my favorite things, and all kidding aside, truthfully,
- 1:28:31Speaker 30: the Trump accounts were one of the best things he
- 1:28:34Speaker 30: ever did. Because I'll say it again, when you start
- 1:28:37Speaker 30: paying into Social Security or start a fourth degree, it's
- 1:28:40Speaker 30: when you're working years. You've missed out on 20 years
- 1:28:44Speaker 30: of earning potential. Those Trump accounts, if you can get
- 1:28:47Speaker 30: those seeded and funded at the day your kid is
- 1:28:50Speaker 30: born or your grandkid or anybody you know and let
- 1:28:53Speaker 30: time work for those, that should have been done 50
- 1:28:56Speaker 30: years ago. But that's one of the best things I
- 1:29:00Speaker 30: think that's happened that nobody really talks about. But it's
- 1:29:05Speaker 30: really interesting when Trump points to his head and says,
- 1:29:09Speaker 30: you know, how are we going to defeat, you know,
- 1:29:10Speaker 30: or how are we going to protect artificial intelligence? And
- 1:29:13Speaker 30: he says right here, he points his head, he says superintelligence.
- 1:29:16Speaker 30: And I just think you've got to think to yourself.
- 1:29:21Speaker 30: And like, again, I love most of the stuff he's done,
- 1:29:24Speaker 30: but it's like, who says that?
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: Who does that? But it is good, though, isn't it?
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: I mean, you know, when you talk about the great things,
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: let me tell you what I think a great thing
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: Trump did in a minute.
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: Hang on a minute. All right. I love it when
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: he gets on a roll, man. He is priceless. Alec,
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: back in a minute.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: OK, here's one of the best things when you say
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: what what Trump did when he said, how about this
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: super intelligence? I kind of applauded him when Trump put
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: Fort Hood's name back to Fort Hood. Do you remember
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: where Biden renamed it?
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: And it's been Fort Hood forever. And he renamed it
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: Fort Hood.
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: Chavez or something like that to honored this first Hispanic
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: four star general. Of course, you know, we this is
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: the woke period of the Democrats. We got to rip
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: down statues of our history. We got to whitewash history.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: We got to rip down statues. We got to change
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: the name of Fort Hood. And we've got to make
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: sure we change it to the name of our first
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: four-star general. Just the crazy, really the crazy-ass stuff that
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: the Democrats were doing under the Biden administration.
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: I don't miss any of that.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: The statue ripping down, the white supremacy, white privilege. If
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: you're white, you didn't work for anything or get anything,
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: and you're the problem. It's the biggest problem in America.
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: What are your pronouns? Let's rename all this stuff. All
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: of that crazy stuff that Sherrod Brown supported, you'd think
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: I would ever want to go back to that.
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: And if you vote for that, you should have your
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: head examined.
- 1:31:00Speaker 30: Yeah, the Democrats are always looking for solutions to problems
- 1:31:03Speaker 30: that don't exist. That's where they're at. Did you happen
- 1:31:07Speaker 30: to see the video that Sarah Huckabee Sanders, I guess
- 1:31:12Speaker 30: it's a campaign ad, anything like that? Did you happen
- 1:31:15Speaker 30: to see that out of Arkansas?
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: No.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: Tell me about it.
- 1:31:18Speaker 30: Yeah, you have to watch it. It's her talking about
- 1:31:22Speaker 30: welfare-to-work programs, and she's giving the description of Brad. Brad
- 1:31:28Speaker 30: wants to play video games all day and doesn't want
- 1:31:30Speaker 30: to go to work. And it's gotten quite the backlash.
- 1:31:33Speaker 30: I won't really go into too much detail about it,
- 1:31:35Speaker 30: but if you watch it on any social media, you
- 1:31:38Speaker 30: could just read the comments, so then.
- 1:31:39Speaker 8: You'll get the picture.
- 1:31:40Speaker 30: But I mean, it's gotten like 20 million, 30 million.
- 1:31:43Speaker 30: I don't even know how many views, which would be
- 1:31:45Speaker 30: very odd for Sarah Huckabee Sanders to have a pretty
- 1:31:49Speaker 30: inflammatory video like that.
- 1:31:52Speaker 19: It's interesting.
- 1:31:52Speaker 30: You didn't have to watch it. You brought up part
- 1:31:54Speaker 30: of that topic, made me think of it. It's pretty funny.
- 1:31:57Speaker 30: But the whole entire economy... I don't know what to
- 1:32:02Speaker 30: think of it anymore. The stock market, you know, it
- 1:32:04Speaker 30: goes up, it goes down. But if you look at
- 1:32:06Speaker 30: it more than recently, it's gone up. It's a few
- 1:32:10Speaker 30: companies that are making all the profits, and the rest
- 1:32:13Speaker 30: of them are kind of just floating around doing nothing.
- 1:32:16Speaker 30: And I think it's getting really bad when you only
- 1:32:18Speaker 30: have a few ginormous tech companies that are basically running
- 1:32:23Speaker 30: the entire economy and that are basically holding up everybody's
- 1:32:27Speaker 30: retirement in their 401Ks. We live in a weird, weird
- 1:32:31Speaker 30: world where you go to work, you trade your time
- 1:32:34Speaker 30: for money all day, every day, and every two weeks,
- 1:32:37Speaker 30: most of the time, you put your money into a
- 1:32:40Speaker 30: 401k that goes to the S & P 500, and
- 1:32:43Speaker 30: you hope that that makes enough money to beat inflation.
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: You got it. Thank you, Alec. Appreciate it. News is next.
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: Back with more after that. Call us a line. Stand by.
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: Pickleball is on the rise.
- 1:32:54Speaker 26: Three years as the Valley's trusted news, weather, and talk station.
- 1:32:59Speaker 9: 570 WKBN. Youngstown.
- 1:33:07Speaker 27: A warning to anyone else who may be involved. Elisa Brady,
- 1:33:10Speaker 27: Fox News. After a co-pilot stabbed the captain on a
- 1:33:14Speaker 27: flight heading to Israel earlier today and apparently tried to
- 1:33:17Speaker 27: crash the plane.
- 1:33:18Speaker 29: If there is a terror motive behind this person, they
- 1:33:22Speaker 29: should probably seek cover now because we will find them
- 1:33:25Speaker 29: and they will pay.
- 1:33:26Speaker 27: Doran Spielman, a spokesperson for the Israeli prime minister, also
- 1:33:29Speaker 27: telling Fox that co-pilot had been with the airline Fly
- 1:33:33Speaker 27: Dubai for less than a year.
- 1:33:34Speaker 29: And Israel has agreements with all the airlines that in
- 1:33:37Speaker 29: order for a pilot or crew to be coming into Israel,
- 1:33:40Speaker 29: they need to be with countries that Israel recognizes. There's
- 1:33:44Speaker 29: a number of issues that are going to have to
- 1:33:45Speaker 29: be worked out here because the responsibilities on these airlines
- 1:33:49Speaker 29: to bring in people that Israel has some type of
- 1:33:50Speaker 29: relationship with.
- 1:33:51Speaker 27: He says they're working to ramp up security on other airlines.
- 1:33:54Speaker 27: Fly Dubai is suspending flights to and from Israel while
- 1:33:57Speaker 27: the investigation continues.
- 1:33:59Speaker 22: The wounded captain managed to.
- 1:34:01Speaker 27: Send an alert to controllers and unlock the cockpit door,
- 1:34:04Speaker 27: allowing passengers and crew to get in, subdue the attacker
- 1:34:07Speaker 27: and stabilize the plane, which was diverted to Saudi Arabia.
- 1:34:10Speaker 27: Passengers arriving hours later in Tel Aviv to a celebration.
- 1:34:15Speaker 22: Relieved loved ones, giving them a hero's welcome.
- 1:34:18Speaker 27: Some passengers saying they thought they were going to die
- 1:34:21Speaker 27: as the plane plunged more than 14,000 feet in about
- 1:34:24Speaker 27: 30 seconds during the attack. A trio of energy projects
- 1:34:28Speaker 27: just announced in the Oval Office. including eight nuclear power plants.

- 1:36:20Speaker 14: Yes? Yes?
- 1:36:33Speaker 36: Hey, Alec, I mean, can you quell the rumors that
- 1:36:38Speaker 36: he's going to take over your show on February 22nd
- 1:36:42Speaker 36: of 27th?
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: No, I'm going to let him run rampant.
- 1:36:47Speaker 11: Oh, okay.
- 1:36:48Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:36:48Speaker 35: Yeah, great.
- 1:36:50Speaker 6: Great point.
- 1:36:52Speaker 36: One of the earlier callers was talking about the crypto
- 1:36:55Speaker 36: taking over, you know, the government going to crypto.
- 1:36:59Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:37:01Speaker 36: Next time Alec calls in, ask him, which crypto do
- 1:37:06Speaker 36: you think was going to take over? I mean, just
- 1:37:08Speaker 36: like back in the day, they had like four-track tapes,
- 1:37:12Speaker 36: and then they had eight-track tapes, and then they had
- 1:37:14Speaker 36: the cassette. You know, what crypto is going to dominate
- 1:37:18Speaker 36: and be the currency of the United States?
- 1:37:21Speaker 6: Or is there going.
- 1:37:22Speaker 19: To be just like a U.S.
- 1:37:25Speaker 36: Cryptocurrency, which I'm sure Trump would go with that.
- 1:37:30Speaker 34: But.
- 1:37:31Speaker 6: What do you think, Ronnie?
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: I don't have the answer that you're seeking when it
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: comes to the world of crypto.
- 1:37:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: The only thing I'm worried about is... I would love.
- 1:37:43Speaker 36: To know which cryptocurrency... Is it just the regular Bitcoin?
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: I don't know. I like to deal in the American dollar.
- 1:37:54Speaker 19: Yeah, I know.
- 1:37:55Speaker 6: Me too.
- 1:37:56Speaker 2: I mean, that's the currency I know and I love.
- 1:38:01Speaker 2: I don't want to go to all digital stuff. Then
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: the government has too much control. You've got to have cash.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: You've got to be able to. That represents freedom. You
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: can see what they did to the Canadian truckers when
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: they shut off their. They debanked him just as they
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: did the entire Trump family. They debanked him. I mean,
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: so a lot of people never heard that. Well, what
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: do you mean they debanked him? I mean, these regulators
- 1:38:27Speaker 2: that came out and they then said they had to
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: go around all these banks and put the heavy hand
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: on them through regulation to get them to debank the
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: entire Trump family. In other words, Trump couldn't go to
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: Bank of America or anyone in his family, his wife,
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: his kids or anything. So he ended up going over
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: to local regional banks because they were trying to just
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: screw him. I mean, that's how evil the Biden administration was.
- 1:38:53Speaker 36: And that's what the founders of this country were fighting
- 1:38:55Speaker 36: for when they started the Revolutionary War. You know, I mean,
- 1:38:59Speaker 36: how could this even happen in the United States?
- 1:39:03Speaker 19: Hey, but getting to.
- 1:39:05Speaker 36: Amy Acton, apparently she's not going to get her man
- 1:39:08Speaker 36: card then?
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: No, absolutely not. She wouldn't get her man card. You've
- 1:39:14Speaker 2: got to work on getting yours.
- 1:39:17Speaker 19: Oh, no, I'm doing it.
- 1:39:19Speaker 36: Ron, you would be so surprised. I am heroically fighting
- 1:39:24Speaker 36: off these Gerstern stink bugs.
- 1:39:28Speaker 19: They're everywhere.
- 1:39:30Speaker 36: I'm killing them. I'm slaying them.
- 1:39:32Speaker 3: Oh, good for you. You know what? Hey, guess what?
- 1:39:37Speaker 6: No, no, no, not yet.
- 1:39:38Speaker 36: I got another thing to talk about. The woman that
- 1:39:44Speaker 36: called and said that... In Israel, you know, all the
- 1:39:49Speaker 36: kids at 18, they go into service for their country.
- 1:39:54Speaker 36: And I think that's a great idea, and it should
- 1:39:57Speaker 36: happen here. One year of service doesn't have to be
- 1:40:00Speaker 36: the military. It might be, you know, picking trash off
- 1:40:03Speaker 36: the street.
- 1:40:04Speaker 6: It might be.
- 1:40:05Speaker 36: training dogs or getting, you know, homeless shelters.
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: Oh, forget that. It's the military.
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: She was saying, she was saying that that's why you
- 1:40:12Speaker 2: got people that took action on that plane because of
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: their train. They're automatically in the military for a period
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: of time. You're not going to get that kind of
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: training if you're walking dogs.
- 1:40:24Speaker 36: I know, but it's just training them to be responsible.
- 1:40:30Speaker 36: The kids today, it just doesn't seem like they're responsible.
- 1:40:33Speaker 8: You know?
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: Well, some aren't.
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: I mean, I hate to use broad brushes like that,
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: where everybody's saying, well, it seems like this. Well, some
- 1:40:41Speaker 2: are and some aren't. I guess that was always the
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: case in your generation. Was everybody in your generation responsible?
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: Probably not.
- 1:40:51Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:40:51Speaker 36: Yeah, but probably the majority was.
- 1:40:53Speaker 19: I would say the majority was.
- 1:40:56Speaker 3: Well, maybe the majority are today responsible.
- 1:40:59Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:41:00Speaker 6: Hey, one more thing.
- 1:41:01Speaker 36: The gas tax relief is going to be like $ 0. 38
- 1:41:06Speaker 36: a gallon relief.
- 1:41:08Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: In Ohio, for 90 days, if DeWine signs it, it's
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: past everything else.
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: Now DeWine has to sign it, which they say he will.
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: He better.
- 1:41:17Speaker 2: And that gives relief even more on diesel.
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: But go ahead.
- 1:41:21Speaker 19: Right.
- 1:41:22Speaker 36: But like Alex said, if they could do it now,
- 1:41:25Speaker 36: why don't they just do it all the time? Why
- 1:41:27Speaker 36: have the gas tax?
- 1:41:29Speaker 2: Okay, so they're doing it for 90 days, and now
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: you're bellyaching that it's not forever.
- 1:41:35Speaker 3: I'm not happy, Ronnie. I can tell you're not. I
- 1:41:39Speaker 3: can tell you're not.
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: But that's how we fund a lot of our road
- 1:41:42Speaker 2: projects and bridge repairs, and that's how we fund a
- 1:41:45Speaker 2: lot of this stuff is through the gas tax and
- 1:41:47Speaker 2: the state patrol.
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: All right, don't you have to tell me something?
- 1:41:52Speaker 36: Yeah, you know what, Ronnie?
- 1:41:53Speaker 12: What?
- 1:41:54Speaker 8: I got to go.
- 1:41:54Speaker 3: I knew you did. You're on the air.
- 1:41:56Speaker 28: Hello.
- 1:41:57Speaker 6: Good evening, Ron. How are you?
- 1:41:58Speaker 25: Good.
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: What do you make of this situation? It's G2, by
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: the way, folks, on this airplane today.
- 1:42:06Speaker 6: Well, you may remember some years ago there was another airline.
- 1:42:11Speaker 6: It was a Middle Eastern airline, and one of the
- 1:42:13Speaker 6: pilots just decided he was going to kill everybody on
- 1:42:15Speaker 6: the plane. And he just started saying, Allahu Akbar, and
- 1:42:23Speaker 6: nosedived the plane and was going to take it in.
- 1:42:25Speaker 6: And I think this one, I remember how they stopped him,
- 1:42:28Speaker 6: but I think they pulled him away. So it's not unusual.
- 1:42:32Speaker 6: I guess it's unusual because there are millions and millions
- 1:42:35Speaker 6: of flights, right? But it's not unheard of that an Islamic,
- 1:42:44Speaker 6: you know, Islamist would do this. And I suspect this was, again, Islam, right?
- 1:42:50Speaker 6: This was, again, a radical Islamist. I don't know a
- 1:42:52Speaker 6: lot about this yet. I haven't really... looked at it
- 1:42:55Speaker 6: in great detail. So I think, like always, you know,
- 1:42:59Speaker 6: I'd say, let's figure it out before we conclude a
- 1:43:01Speaker 6: whole lot. But this is a risk you take when
- 1:43:06Speaker 6: you put folks on airplanes who hold radical beliefs.
- 1:43:12Speaker 2: But, I mean, the amazing thing, this guy was, what,
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: the co-pilot of the plane? I mean, but when you
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: read the story, And I realize maybe not everybody's heard it.
- 1:43:21Speaker 2: When you read the story that's happened today on a
- 1:43:24Speaker 2: fly Dubai airliner that was the co-pilot stabbed the pilot
- 1:43:31Speaker 2: and tried to take control of the plane.
- 1:43:35Speaker 6: With a pocket knife. I mean, just with a pocket knife.
- 1:43:41Speaker 6: The security people took a pocket knife out of my
- 1:43:44Speaker 6: bag once. And I'm still mad about it because it
- 1:43:47Speaker 6: was a great pocket knife. But... Yeah, when you see
- 1:43:51Speaker 6: the amount of blood that was in that cabin and
- 1:43:53Speaker 6: the amount of damage done by that guy, the injuries
- 1:43:59Speaker 6: were pretty serious, I think, to the pilot. And it
- 1:44:03Speaker 6: was just great that there was somebody else on the
- 1:44:04Speaker 6: plane that could fly, and it was great that the
- 1:44:08Speaker 6: crew and the passengers ripped him out of that cockpit.
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: Well, and they identified, I guess, the pilots. The flying
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: plane was an Indian pilot. Or from India, I guess
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: is what you would say, right? Who was flying a plane.
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: But you take a look at the number of people
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: that are very courageous. I mean, so this guy gets
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: stabbed by the co-pilot who's trying to crash the plane.
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: And the pilot, the Indian guy, was smart enough to
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: be able to get the door unlocked so people could
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: get in and still– I mean, he was able to
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: put out the distress call on the radio, get the
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: door open and all this kind of stuff. And then
- 1:44:48Speaker 2: you saw that passenger that came in that pulled the
- 1:44:53Speaker 2: attacker out who said it seemed to him he was
- 1:44:55Speaker 2: trying to destroy the controls, if you will, of the airplane.
- 1:44:59Speaker 6: Right, so no one could recover. I would like to
- 1:45:02Speaker 6: understand more. I don't know that we will, but I
- 1:45:05Speaker 6: suspect that on some of these flights there are the
- 1:45:07Speaker 6: equivalent of air marshals, you know, or pilots. you know,
- 1:45:11Speaker 6: IDF facade types that are well-trained and Krav Maga and whatnot.
- 1:45:15Speaker 6: I suspect there were some people that are ready to respond.
- 1:45:18Speaker 6: What's really remarkable is that while fending off the attack,
- 1:45:21Speaker 6: he got that door open. I don't know what the
- 1:45:25Speaker 6: policy is on an airline, on this particular airline, but
- 1:45:29Speaker 6: if he hadn't got that door open, the way those
- 1:45:30Speaker 6: doors are reinforced now, there would have been, I don't
- 1:45:33Speaker 6: know how you would get through one of those doors
- 1:45:35Speaker 6: without some kind of a tool. Right. So, Just that
- 1:45:39Speaker 6: split second of getting the door open while he was
- 1:45:42Speaker 6: being attacked and severely injured. I don't know how severe,
- 1:45:44Speaker 6: but being really injured. It's a pretty remarkable thing. That
- 1:45:49Speaker 6: was a close shave. A very close shave.
- 1:45:52Speaker 2: And for him to be able to do that, then
- 1:45:56Speaker 2: for that guy to get in there and pull the...
- 1:45:59Speaker 2: Because that's what Netanyahu says, and I go with his words. Well,
- 1:46:04Speaker 2: Netanyahu said what? He was a jihadist terrorist to pull
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: him off of the controls and get him out of there.
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: And for the fact that there was another pilot on
- 1:46:15Speaker 2: the plane, another crew or whatever, a couple pilots on there.
- 1:46:21Speaker 2: And keep in mind, G2, all this is going on
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: while the thing's dropping 14,000 feet.
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: In two minutes.
- 1:46:28Speaker 6: In two minutes. I mean, it's diving. So now everybody's
- 1:46:32Speaker 6: off balance. It's an incredible, terrifying situation. And it's amazing
- 1:46:40Speaker 6: that between the pilot and the passengers and the extra crew,
- 1:46:43Speaker 6: they were able to stabilize and keep going.
- 1:46:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, and to get in there, it's just
- 1:46:48Speaker 3: amazing to me.
- 1:46:50Speaker 6: Well, there's another factor, too. Saudi let them land. And
- 1:46:53Speaker 6: I don't know what would have happened 15 years ago,
- 1:46:57Speaker 6: 20 years ago. But there was a time when I
- 1:46:59Speaker 6: don't think Saudi would have let them land. And so
- 1:47:02Speaker 6: I wonder, and I haven't looked into this, so I
- 1:47:04Speaker 6: don't know. I'm just wondering, you know, is it some
- 1:47:07Speaker 6: element of the Abraham Accords that got them to a
- 1:47:09Speaker 6: position where that plane could land and even be flying
- 1:47:12Speaker 6: from Amman to Tel Aviv? There's more to know about the.
- 1:47:18Speaker 6: Circumstances around this if we care to really analyze it.
- 1:47:21Speaker 6: But yeah, it's an amazing story, amazing outcome. But it
- 1:47:27Speaker 6: does also drive home the point that we all must
- 1:47:29Speaker 6: be always on guard. We all must be always thinking
- 1:47:33Speaker 6: about what are we prepared to do. And in times
- 1:47:37Speaker 6: of need, we have to act because the choice of
- 1:47:40Speaker 6: those passengers was very simple. Act or die.
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:47:45Speaker 34: Yeah.
- 1:47:46Speaker 3: But right.
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: That's your choice. That's your choice. But I mean, you take,
- 1:47:52Speaker 2: you take a look just from the story that we know.
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: I mean, there's some, there's truly courageous people that change
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: the outcome because now Clay and Buck were speculating if
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: this guy, if this didn't happen this way with the
- 1:48:04Speaker 2: co-pilot of taking control of the plane and used it
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: as a weapon like they did in September 11th, because
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: he did it as the plane was getting closer to Israel.
- 1:48:12Speaker 6: Well, yeah. Yeah. Could be. I mean, it, landing a
- 1:48:16Speaker 6: commercial jet anywhere other than a runway. I mean, you
- 1:48:20Speaker 6: put that into an apartment building or a neighborhood, it's
- 1:48:23Speaker 6: going to kill some people. So, could be. Could be.
- 1:48:28Speaker 6: That might have been the thought.
- 1:48:30Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, it goes to show you terrorism isn't
- 1:48:34Speaker 3: over yet.
- 1:48:35Speaker 6: No, no.
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: And it's never going to be over. I mean, you've
- 1:48:39Speaker 2: got to You just got to accept that it's there. But,
- 1:48:43Speaker 2: I mean, the thought of it being in the cockpit
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: is just unbelievable.
- 1:48:47Speaker 3: And how do you get that pocket knife on there?
- 1:48:49Speaker 2: Because I was always under the impression that the pilots
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: had to go through security, too.
- 1:48:56Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a good question. I mean, and I think
- 1:48:58Speaker 6: you could hide it in your gear well enough, probably,
- 1:49:01Speaker 6: if you really wanted to get it on. But, you know,
- 1:49:06Speaker 6: one of the other differences between this and 9-11 is
- 1:49:08Speaker 6: that this guy actually knew how to fly a plane.
- 1:49:11Speaker 6: So he could have maybe put it anywhere he wanted to, where,
- 1:49:13Speaker 6: of course, as we all know, on 9-11, those guys
- 1:49:16Speaker 6: really didn't know how to fly.
- 1:49:18Speaker 3: Well, yeah, this guy obviously was a pilot, or the co-pilot.
- 1:49:22Speaker 6: Yeah, trained.
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:49:24Speaker 6: Trained on that aircraft to put it where he wants it.
- 1:49:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and now they're saying that they've got to look
- 1:49:29Speaker 2: at this fly Dubai. Israel's got to look at its
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: standards because they've got criteria for people flying planes in Israel.
- 1:49:36Speaker 3: And you can see why, right? I mean, it's just.
- 1:49:40Speaker 6: And remember, it's the U.S. standards that really set much
- 1:49:42Speaker 6: of the world standard. That's why English is the language
- 1:49:45Speaker 6: of international flight, right? So it's the United States as well.
- 1:49:51Speaker 6: Even though this happened overseas, I'm sure that pilot could
- 1:49:56Speaker 6: have just as easily been flying to L.A. or Chicago, right?
- 1:50:02Speaker 6: So everybody has to take a look at these pilot
- 1:50:05Speaker 6: certifications again. And, again, we can never let our guard down.
- 1:50:09Speaker 6: You know, you think about, well, I don't want to...
- 1:50:13Speaker 6: This is a critical thing, and you can never let
- 1:50:15Speaker 6: your guard down. Certainly, the Islamists have a mission, and
- 1:50:20Speaker 6: the mission is to end Western civilization. And we know
- 1:50:23Speaker 6: that because they tell us. I mean, there's a great podcast.
- 1:50:26Speaker 6: It was out maybe a year ago, I think, and
- 1:50:28Speaker 6: it might be circulating again. I don't know if it's
- 1:50:30Speaker 6: the same one. But it's these Islamists sitting in a
- 1:50:34Speaker 6: podcast studio, doing a podcast, talking and laughing about how
- 1:50:38Speaker 6: They're able to come to the United States, buy land,
- 1:50:41Speaker 6: build neighborhoods, make them Islamic, but they have to have
- 1:50:44Speaker 6: a few little tricks because they can't specifically exclude Christians
- 1:50:49Speaker 6: and non-Christians and others from the neighborhood because that would
- 1:50:52Speaker 6: be illegal. So they're naming the streets after martyrs of Islam.
- 1:50:58Speaker 6: And they're laughing about how easy it is to just
- 1:51:01Speaker 6: enter the West with all these gullible, soft people and
- 1:51:05Speaker 6: just take over. And And that is the mission, right?
- 1:51:09Speaker 6: I mean, the mission is to come here and study
- 1:51:12Speaker 6: our Constitution, learn all about free market capitalism, and thrive
- 1:51:16Speaker 6: as an American while pledging allegiance to the flag. No,
- 1:51:20Speaker 6: that's not the mission. The mission is to implement Sharia law,
- 1:51:23Speaker 6: to implement Islam, to build Islamic centers, to build Islamic communities,
- 1:51:29Speaker 6: and grow the influence, and then begin, just as they're
- 1:51:31Speaker 6: doing in Birmingham and London and elsewhere, begin winning... Local elections,
- 1:51:38Speaker 6: school boards, city councils, county commissioner races begin building that
- 1:51:44Speaker 6: footprint of local conquest, expanding influence until they can set law. And,
- 1:51:51Speaker 6: of course, that culminated in Michigan, where in Dearborn, a
- 1:51:55Speaker 6: citizen stood up and criticized Islam, and the mayor, an Islamist, said,
- 1:52:00Speaker 6: you should move. This is our land, and you should
- 1:52:03Speaker 6: get out. I'm paraphrasing. Obviously, that's not a quote. But
- 1:52:07Speaker 6: he made it crystal clear that this American is not
- 1:52:10Speaker 6: welcomed in America. And we ought to take note of that, right?
- 1:52:16Speaker 6: We ought to be taking note of that, that this is,
- 1:52:18Speaker 6: in fact, conquest. And, you know, Takiyah, one of the
- 1:52:23Speaker 6: fundamental principles of misleading your target, your opponent, until you're
- 1:52:28Speaker 6: in a position of power and you can then just
- 1:52:31Speaker 6: dominate them, that's a standard fundamental element of Islam. So...
- 1:52:37Speaker 6: You know, they could tell.
- 1:52:38Speaker 12: You whatever they want and behave however they want.
- 1:52:39Speaker 6: But when there is a majority and they have power,
- 1:52:42Speaker 6: it will be their way. You will hear prayers coming
- 1:52:46Speaker 6: from minarets in your town, loudspeakers now, obviously not men
- 1:52:50Speaker 6: standing in towers anymore.
- 1:52:51Speaker 3: Well, like in Dearborn, in Dearborn to call a prayer.
- 1:52:54Speaker 6: Dearborn and elsewhere in the United States, and of course
- 1:52:56Speaker 6: across London. You know, there was just a ceremony, I
- 1:53:00Speaker 6: think it was in Birmingham, where the mayor took down
- 1:53:03Speaker 6: the English flag and put up the Pakistani flag. to
- 1:53:06Speaker 6: celebrate the incredible culture and rich history of the Pakistanis. Well,
- 1:53:11Speaker 6: part of the rich history of the Pakistanis is that
- 1:53:13Speaker 6: they are one of the groups that has grooming gangs
- 1:53:16Speaker 6: that have raped a quarter of a million English girls.
- 1:53:19Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:53:20Speaker 2: Stand by G2 with me this hour. And so we'll
- 1:53:23Speaker 2: take some calls and talk more. Coming up, strong verb
- 1:53:27Speaker 2: kingdom of Mahoning we are.
- 1:53:32Speaker 11: I'm Dr.
- 1:53:32Speaker 22: Cheryl Figliano with the Centers for Health.
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: And IDO 524, Wednesday, September 30th, 72 degrees. Ron Verbin
- 1:53:40Speaker 2: and Kingdom of Mahoning. G2' s on the end of the line.
- 1:53:44Speaker 2: And just an interesting day. Trump had made an announcement
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: today about nuclear plants and some electric plants. It was
- 1:53:53Speaker 2: late in the day. I don't even know if he
- 1:53:54Speaker 2: had a chance to hear it, but sounds like a move.
- 1:53:57Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 1:53:59Speaker 6: Yeah, I didn't hear it. I did catch the super
- 1:54:00Speaker 6: intelligence point, and I find that troubling. I don't think
- 1:54:03Speaker 6: that's good language, but it may get some of these
- 1:54:08Speaker 6: plants away from some regulations. People are suspecting. I don't
- 1:54:11Speaker 6: know if that's right or wrong. I think we have
- 1:54:14Speaker 6: to investigate that a little more carefully, but the language
- 1:54:16Speaker 6: isn't great. This stuff isn't super intelligent, right? It is
- 1:54:20Speaker 6: just simply software that is moving quickly and doing some capability.
- 1:54:26Speaker 6: What we have access to mostly is People outside the
- 1:54:29Speaker 6: AI industry are simply high-powered search engines that can compile
- 1:54:33Speaker 6: their answers in a more effective way than just giving
- 1:54:36Speaker 6: you Yelp and Wikipedia entries. So it's not really superintelligence, right?
- 1:54:45Speaker 6: These things that are working together and conspiring to create outcomes,
- 1:54:50Speaker 6: the scary ones, I'm not sure I'd call that superintelligence.
- 1:54:54Speaker 6: We've got to call it something, but I'm not just
- 1:54:56Speaker 6: not a fan of the name. These nuclear plant ideas,
- 1:54:59Speaker 6: this idea of the micronuclear plant, the small-scale nuclear plant,
- 1:55:03Speaker 6: is truly a fantastic idea. Obviously, we've been running submarines
- 1:55:07Speaker 6: on this forever, nuclear carriers on this forever, decades and
- 1:55:11Speaker 6: decades and decades of successful zero-failure operation. But beginning to
- 1:55:16Speaker 6: distribute those throughout the U.S. and build them so that
- 1:55:19Speaker 6: we have significant access to sustainable, low-cost, high-reliability power Setting
- 1:55:29Speaker 6: aside AI, we had a need for that before they
- 1:55:32Speaker 6: started building these hyperscale surveillance centers. And maybe that's the
- 1:55:37Speaker 6: right thing to call them. Instead of superintelligence, it's surveillance
- 1:55:41Speaker 6: intelligence because that's what it's going to be. But the
- 1:55:45Speaker 6: idea of distributing sort of smaller-scale nuclear generation facilities around
- 1:55:51Speaker 6: the country, there could be some real– that is very
- 1:55:54Speaker 6: attractive and interesting. I would like to see that.
- 1:55:57Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:55:57Speaker 6: rolled out and get really into the economics and see
- 1:56:01Speaker 6: how those work. But we have to be able to
- 1:56:03Speaker 6: build them in less than 20 years.
- 1:56:05Speaker 3: Right, right. We needed that yesterday. We needed that, yeah, right.
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: Just like refineries, like we were talking the other day.
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: I mean, whatever a barrel of oil is, we've got
- 1:56:16Speaker 2: a refining problem. I mean, that's what you have, whether
- 1:56:19Speaker 2: we like it or not. And we haven't built refineries
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: since the 70s. We've added on to existing ones. But
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: wouldn't it be nice if we had an effort around
- 1:56:27Speaker 2: the clock to– add refineries in the United States of America,
- 1:56:31Speaker 2: just like add the power so it doesn't take 20 years,
- 1:56:34Speaker 2: like you say?
- 1:56:35Speaker 6: Right, and not refineries along the Gulf Coast. Fine, I mean,
- 1:56:38Speaker 6: if you want to add, I don't know, you could
- 1:56:40Speaker 6: argue that. But we need refineries on the West Coast
- 1:56:43Speaker 6: where the lunatics are, and on the East Coast where
- 1:56:46Speaker 6: the lunatics are. And that's the problem, is you've got
- 1:56:50Speaker 6: these lunatics running the East and West Coast governments, and
- 1:56:53Speaker 6: they're the ones that have created this refining capacity issue
- 1:56:56Speaker 6: to a large extent. We need them on both coasts
- 1:57:01Speaker 6: so that they're close to the markets, they're close to
- 1:57:03Speaker 6: the consumption point, and the jet fuels, the diesel, and
- 1:57:08Speaker 6: the gasoline are getting to market very quickly after they're
- 1:57:10Speaker 6: being refined. What we've done to this country from an
- 1:57:13Speaker 6: energy standpoint is it is really silly and self-destructive, but
- 1:57:18Speaker 6: that's because we've had far too many lunatics. I'm not
- 1:57:22Speaker 6: being facetious or hyperbolic. These people are crazy that went
- 1:57:25Speaker 6: around and spiked our coal plants so they couldn't be
- 1:57:29Speaker 6: returned back on. They went around and pushed us into
- 1:57:32Speaker 6: this insane solar, wind, energy supply on the hoax of
- 1:57:39Speaker 6: CO2 fear. These people are crazy. They're the ones that
- 1:57:44Speaker 6: chase your kids around with needles and knives saying, hey,
- 1:57:46Speaker 6: let me inject you with this and I'll cut your
- 1:57:48Speaker 6: genitals off. That's not normal. I know a school system
- 1:57:52Speaker 6: that just had to reverse a policy based on litigation.
- 1:57:54Speaker 6: They had to be litigated. to get them to reverse
- 1:57:57Speaker 6: a policy whereby they were going to address children with
- 1:58:01Speaker 6: a gender other than the one their parents know about
- 1:58:03Speaker 6: without telling their parents. The school believing it was the
- 1:58:07Speaker 6: school's job to defend those children. from being tortured by
- 1:58:11Speaker 6: their parents by being addressed in whatever way the parents choose.
- 1:58:15Speaker 6: They were absolutely intending to supplant the parent-child relationship. That's lunacy. A,
- 1:58:22Speaker 6: it's not your role. B, you have no special knowledge
- 1:58:25Speaker 6: or capability. You know, passing out PhDs to educators doesn't
- 1:58:29Speaker 6: seem to be getting us better outcomes, right? So these
- 1:58:32Speaker 6: people are so egomaniacal and so bizarrely wedded to this
- 1:58:38Speaker 6: woke religion that they want to step into and break
- 1:58:43Speaker 6: the parent-child relationship. Well, it's the same with energy, right?
- 1:58:46Speaker 6: I mean, they drove us down this crazy path, eliminating low-cost,
- 1:58:50Speaker 6: stable baseload, putting us on a situation you may remember
- 1:58:54Speaker 6: a few years ago, a cold snap went through Texas
- 1:58:57Speaker 6: and people were dying because even in Texas they had converted.
- 1:59:00Speaker 6: At that point, I think it was 23% of supply
- 1:59:04Speaker 6: to unicorn dust.
- 1:59:06Speaker 2: Hang on a minute. Back with you, too. Call straight
- 1:59:09Speaker 2: ahead as well. Ron Furb from the Kingdom of Mahoney
- 1:59:12Speaker 2: here tonight.
- 1:59:12Speaker 9: NewsRadio 570 WKVN.
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: Both the Ohio House and the Senate have overwhelmingly approved
- 1:59:21Speaker 1: suspending the state's gas tax for 90 days.
- 1:59:25Speaker 31: It will mean about a 38-cent-a-gallon break on gas and
- 1:59:29Speaker 31: about 47 cents relief on a gallon of diesel. The
- 1:59:33Speaker 31: package now goes to Governor DeWine, who is reportedly going
- 1:59:36Speaker 31: to sign this gas tax holiday, which may go into
- 1:59:40Speaker 31: effect as soon as this week. Republican State Representative Andrea
- 1:59:44Speaker 31: White of Kettering sponsored it.
- 1:59:47Speaker 22: A year ago today, the price of gas averaged $ 2.
- 1:59:49Speaker 4: 87 a gallon.
- 1:59:50Speaker 30: Yesterday, it was $ 4.
- 1:59:50Speaker 34: 32.
- 1:59:50Speaker 22: Last year, diesel was $ 3.
- 1:59:51Speaker 30: 67 a gallon.
- 1:59:52Speaker 22: Yesterday, it was $ 6. 73.
- 2:00:02Speaker 31: The state of Ohio can afford this gas tax holiday
- 2:00:05Speaker 31: because of a budget surplus.
- 2:00:07Speaker 3: I'm Matt Reese.
- 2:00:08Speaker 17: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
- 2:00:12Speaker 17: and sports radio.
- 2:00:13Speaker 9: Podcasts, too.
- 2:00:14Speaker 3: Download the app.
- 2:00:16Speaker 9: Free never sounded so good.
- 2:00:18Speaker 23: A to Z dependable services. Plumbing, septic, heating, cooling, and
- 2:00:22Speaker 23: one-day baths.
- 2:00:23Speaker 22: All clear on the highways, 86.
- 2:00:25Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 2:00:30Speaker 2: All right, so 535 NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Let's sneak a
- 2:00:34Speaker 2: few phone calls in here. G2, you're on air.
- 2:00:37Speaker 14: Yeah, this G2 guy, he's all over the place. I mean,
- 2:00:40Speaker 14: we're in that case, right? I don't know, G2.
- 2:00:42Speaker 12: Minus one, but he's worried about.
- 2:00:45Speaker 14: the signs on the street, Islam, what, they get overtaken?
- 2:00:50Speaker 14: He stops the Constitution. What part of freedom of religion
- 2:00:54Speaker 14: does he not understand? As far as these loudspeakers going on,
- 2:00:58Speaker 14: the Catholic Church rings their bells every.
- 2:01:01Speaker 12: Sunday, too. There's nothing wrong with being called to prayer.
- 2:01:04Speaker 20: So you're very much pro-Islam?
- 2:01:08Speaker 14: I'm pro-freedom of religion, the Constitution. Okay, I'm not, I mean, yeah,
- 2:01:14Speaker 14: I'm sure there's, I think they're all evil people. Is
- 2:01:19Speaker 14: that what you really believe? They come in here with
- 2:01:21Speaker 14: this big plan.
- 2:01:22Speaker 19: They got families.
- 2:01:23Speaker 14: They come here, they get a job, and they're working,
- 2:01:26Speaker 14: and life's going on.
- 2:01:28Speaker 12: Okay?
- 2:01:29Speaker 6: I don't know what that is.
- 2:01:30Speaker 4: Huh?
- 2:01:32Speaker 6: Yeah, you're kind of scattered. Do you have, like, you
- 2:01:33Speaker 6: were mentioning signs on the road. What are you talking about?
- 2:01:36Speaker 14: No, he said that, oh, they did these sharia. They
- 2:01:41Speaker 14: were naming their street signs.
- 2:01:43Speaker 12: With martyrs' names or something, you know.
- 2:01:46Speaker 6: Yes, and they're laughing at you because you're allowing it. Right.
- 2:01:50Speaker 12: They're not laughing at me.
- 2:01:51Speaker 6: Oh, yes, they are.
- 2:01:54Speaker 12: What's wrong with that?
- 2:01:55Speaker 14: What's wrong?
- 2:01:55Speaker 12: I don't care if they put name signs up.
- 2:01:57Speaker 6: I'm just quoting that.
- 2:01:57Speaker 12: It doesn't matter.
- 2:01:59Speaker 6: I'm just quoting them. They're laughing at you and saying
- 2:02:01Speaker 6: you're silly because you're allowing them to come in. You're
- 2:02:04Speaker 6: welcoming them with open arms. You're not having any reaction.
- 2:02:08Speaker 6: And they actually believe. That Allah made you weak.
- 2:02:11Speaker 12: I don't believe all this propaganda.
- 2:02:14Speaker 14: I don't think China's bad. I don't believe that the
- 2:02:17Speaker 14: communists were going to take over. That's why we had
- 2:02:19Speaker 14: to go to Vietnam. I don't believe propaganda. I think
- 2:02:23Speaker 14: it's all fake. I don't believe Islam. I don't believe
- 2:02:25Speaker 14: all this stuff.
- 2:02:26Speaker 11: You have no fact of all this stuff.
- 2:02:29Speaker 12: It's all baloney.
- 2:02:30Speaker 14: It's fed to us, man.
- 2:02:31Speaker 12: They're good people just like anybody else.
- 2:02:34Speaker 11: What are you talking about?
- 2:02:35Speaker 14: You guys, you spread Americans.
- 2:02:38Speaker 6: To be honest with you, you sound like you're not
- 2:02:40Speaker 6: a child of the naivete of someone.
- 2:02:43Speaker 12: Who would lose your country.
- 2:02:44Speaker 14: I'm 74 years old.
- 2:02:46Speaker 12: I've been through a lot.
- 2:02:47Speaker 6: So you are naive because you're at that age and
- 2:02:49Speaker 6: you don't understand what's happening around you?
- 2:02:53Speaker 12: What is happening around me, Mr.
- 2:02:54Speaker 3: Know-it-all?
- 2:02:55Speaker 16: What's happening?
- 2:02:57Speaker 14: You know, you're the man of all the knowledge.
- 2:02:58Speaker 12: What's happening? I mean, my life ain't changed.
- 2:03:00Speaker 14: Nothing's changing around my neighborhood in Canfield out here.
- 2:03:03Speaker 12: What's going on?
- 2:03:04Speaker 6: Canfield. Right, right.
- 2:03:06Speaker 12: No, that's right.
- 2:03:06Speaker 6: In your little world, in your little bubble, the enclave that.
- 2:03:09Speaker 12: You live in. No, not a little bubble, Kel.
- 2:03:11Speaker 6: You're still protected. Show me where it's so bad.
- 2:03:12Speaker 14: Show me where it's so bad.
- 2:03:14Speaker 12: Okay. You shouldn't worry.
- 2:03:16Speaker 6: How many times have you been to Dearborn? What was
- 2:03:18Speaker 6: your last trip to Dearborn?
- 2:03:19Speaker 12: Let me tell you one thing. Hold on.
- 2:03:20Speaker 6: $ 150 billion a year in illegal.
- 2:03:22Speaker 12: Drug trades in America. When did you last go to Dearborn?
- 2:03:27Speaker 20: Dearborn what?
- 2:03:27Speaker 6: What's your last trip? How often have you been to
- 2:03:30Speaker 6: Egypt and seen the Coptics? What's your last trip to
- 2:03:37Speaker 6: Paris or London to see what's happening there? Have you
- 2:03:40Speaker 6: tracked statistics in Sweden?
- 2:03:43Speaker 12: I've been around the world. I've traveled a lot of Asia.
- 2:03:46Speaker 12: I've been around the world. Yeah, I've been around the
- 2:03:47Speaker 12: world a lot.
- 2:03:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:03:48Speaker 7: Okay.
- 2:03:49Speaker 6: What was your last trip?
- 2:03:50Speaker 12: I lived in a place.
- 2:03:51Speaker 14: I lived in a foreign country in Asia where every
- 2:03:54Speaker 14: morning the loudspeakers go off. You hear me?
- 2:03:58Speaker 6: So answer my question, though. What is your last trip
- 2:04:00Speaker 6: to Dearborn? Michigan?
- 2:04:03Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 2:04:09Speaker 6: I never went to Dearborn. You know, Michigan, the one
- 2:04:10Speaker 6: up north of Ohio there a little bit.
- 2:04:12Speaker 12: I never went there. Oh, well, there you go.
- 2:04:15Speaker 6: So, in other words, you have a firm opinion that
- 2:04:18Speaker 6: what I'm saying is incorrect based on zero.
- 2:04:20Speaker 14: No, no, I'm saying it's correct. I say, what does
- 2:04:24Speaker 14: it matter? It really doesn't affect. So what if a
- 2:04:26Speaker 14: bunch of people want to have a little community? We
- 2:04:29Speaker 14: used to have the Italian community, the Polack community. That's okay.
- 2:04:33Speaker 14: But now some other people come over here, can't enjoy
- 2:04:36Speaker 14: the same religious rights we have.
- 2:04:39Speaker 12: And you're trying to tell me that's wrong because they're
- 2:04:42Speaker 12: living their... I don't... Mennonites.
- 2:04:44Speaker 3: Live a different life.
- 2:04:45Speaker 7: I don't agree with that.
- 2:04:47Speaker 14: All of us have a different life.
- 2:04:48Speaker 12: A lot of Indian and Native Americans have different lives.
- 2:04:52Speaker 6: Just one thing you should just take away is that
- 2:04:55Speaker 6: they are laughing at you for being as naive as
- 2:04:57Speaker 6: you are.
- 2:04:58Speaker 12: Now, you're not laughing at me. You know what they're
- 2:05:02Speaker 12: going to tell you? They can laugh all they want.
- 2:05:04Speaker 12: Is it hurting me if they laugh at me? You're
- 2:05:06Speaker 12: still safe.
- 2:05:07Speaker 14: You're still safe.
- 2:05:08Speaker 12: You're still safe. You know who's laughing at us mostly?
- 2:05:15Speaker 6: Let me tell you.
- 2:05:16Speaker 12: Who's laughing at us the most. All these illegal people.
- 2:05:18Speaker 11: Making $ 150.
- 2:05:19Speaker 14: Billion a year in drug trades, and all these people
- 2:05:22Speaker 14: laughing at us.
- 2:05:23Speaker 12: I don't have to go to work. The government's just giving.
- 2:05:25Speaker 14: Me free welfare money, okay? That's who's ruining our nation.
- 2:05:29Speaker 14: Not a few people in some religious little dome, okay, pal?
- 2:05:32Speaker 12: It's America. It's destroying itself. Look, don't blame it on
- 2:05:37Speaker 12: Israel or Shalabi. Don't blame it on America destroying ourselves.
- 2:05:41Speaker 6: We cheat our own government.
- 2:05:42Speaker 12: We take illegal money. We don't pay taxes. We're all criminals.
- 2:05:46Speaker 14: Everybody's involved in it.
- 2:05:47Speaker 12: That's what it's really about.
- 2:05:48Speaker 14: The illegal drug trade.
- 2:05:51Speaker 12: McDonald's only takes in $ 15 billion a year.
- 2:05:52Speaker 11: $ 150 billion in America.
- 2:05:52Speaker 4: Okay?
- 2:05:58Speaker 6: Who are you worried about? You're talking about the cartels.
- 2:06:00Speaker 12: No, illegal drug trail.
- 2:06:02Speaker 11: It's cartel. The cartel is America, pal.
- 2:06:04Speaker 12: Not the cartel overseas. It's all done here, ain't it?
- 2:06:08Speaker 12: Don't preach to me all this shit.
- 2:06:09Speaker 14: What's destroying America?
- 2:06:10Speaker 6: You think fentanyl is the precursors to... Hold on. Let
- 2:06:14Speaker 6: me ask you a question. I want to understand. Do
- 2:06:15Speaker 6: you think the precursors from fentanyl and then the production
- 2:06:18Speaker 6: of fentanyl happen in the United States, like those are
- 2:06:20Speaker 6: coming from here?
- 2:06:23Speaker 12: Oh, they produce a lot of drug here. You know,
- 2:06:25Speaker 12: fentanyl is not the only drug around. In fact, they
- 2:06:28Speaker 12: just come up with a new drug now.
- 2:06:30Speaker 11: I heard about it being produced here.
- 2:06:32Speaker 12: Okay, we can sympathize our own drugs.
- 2:06:35Speaker 20: And they're doing that.
- 2:06:36Speaker 11: We make all the crack cocaine here. There's factories all
- 2:06:40Speaker 11: over America.
- 2:06:41Speaker 6: If we're doing that, then why do the cartels, how
- 2:06:45Speaker 6: do they make money if we're just doing it here?
- 2:06:49Speaker 12: Who says they're making it? They supply the powder, but
- 2:06:55Speaker 12: who's making it? Who's selling it, man?
- 2:06:58Speaker 6: Well, the fentanyl's made in places like Mexico and then
- 2:07:03Speaker 6: across the border by the cartels.
- 2:07:04Speaker 12: I'm just saying, man, you.
- 2:07:07Speaker 14: Said you ever traveled to Dearborn. You ever traveled to
- 2:07:09Speaker 14: downtown Youngstown?
- 2:07:11Speaker 6: Come on, man.
- 2:07:13Speaker 12: I'd better probably go to Deerborn. I'd be more safer probably.
- 2:07:18Speaker 14: Living in one of them.
- 2:07:19Speaker 12: Towns with a Sharia law than I would.
- 2:07:21Speaker 14: On Glenwood Avenue or something.
- 2:07:22Speaker 12: I'll tell you that.
- 2:07:24Speaker 14: I don't think they have gunshots going off all the time.
- 2:07:26Speaker 14: Why don't you look at the crime factors in them neighborhoods?
- 2:07:28Speaker 12: In fact, most of them people.
- 2:07:29Speaker 14: Are not demonstrating people.
- 2:07:31Speaker 12: They're all around shooting everybody.
- 2:07:32Speaker 14: You can't go one week in Youngstown, 30 shots here,
- 2:07:34Speaker 14: 40 shots here.
- 2:07:36Speaker 12: Come on, man. And I'm worried about Dearborn, Michigan.
- 2:07:39Speaker 6: Are you real? Come on, man.
- 2:07:41Speaker 12: Come on, man. I'm worried about my neighbors.
- 2:07:44Speaker 3: Come on, man.
- 2:07:45Speaker 12: Come on. Are you serious? Are you really serious?
- 2:07:48Speaker 3: Come on, man.
- 2:07:49Speaker 6: Anfield is very, it's a delight. And the people there
- 2:07:53Speaker 6: are fortunate to be there.
- 2:07:54Speaker 3: All right. Thank you. I'm not saying that.
- 2:07:57Speaker 12: People ain't fortunate there. You think they're worried about Sharia law?
- 2:08:02Speaker 16: You know what?
- 2:08:02Speaker 14: They put a nice temple up here on Greenland Avenue.
- 2:08:04Speaker 3: I can't go on anymore. I feel like I'm getting
- 2:08:06Speaker 3: dumber on this call.
- 2:08:07Speaker 14: You think Catholics and Christians are the only answer to
- 2:08:10Speaker 14: God or something?
- 2:08:11Speaker 12: What about the Crusaders? The Crusaders were vicious people, killed
- 2:08:16Speaker 12: a bunch of people.
- 2:08:16Speaker 6: I mean, you guys just.
- 2:08:18Speaker 12: Tell us your own little stories, man.
- 2:08:21Speaker 6: Are you talking crusades?
- 2:08:23Speaker 3: I couldn't take it anymore.
- 2:08:24Speaker 19: Go ahead.
- 2:08:25Speaker 6: Okay, good.
- 2:08:28Speaker 5: What are you worried?
- 2:08:28Speaker 3: Come on, man. He's like Biden. Come on, man.
- 2:08:32Speaker 24: You're on the air.
- 2:08:32Speaker 6: It's an interesting thing.
- 2:08:33Speaker 3: Yeah, go ahead. I'm sorry.
- 2:08:34Speaker 6: Go ahead.
- 2:08:35Speaker 37: It's an interesting thing that the crusades have been characterized
- 2:08:38Speaker 37: now as like a bad, they were a defensive element
- 2:08:42Speaker 37: that tried to stop Islam from.
- 2:08:44Speaker 6: Overtaking the Middle East. And now you look at Egypt,
- 2:08:47Speaker 6: it's a Muslim country. You look at all these countries
- 2:08:50Speaker 6: over there, North Africa, Muslim country. The truth is, the
- 2:08:54Speaker 6: world would be completely different if the Crusades had succeeded
- 2:08:57Speaker 6: in defending Christendom, and Christendom still included all those areas
- 2:09:02Speaker 6: that have fallen.
- 2:09:04Speaker 3: You're on the air.
- 2:09:06Speaker 4: Hello?
- 2:09:07Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:09:09Speaker 10: Another word that starts with the letter G, Geronimo. Are
- 2:09:14Speaker 10: they going to change the name of the capital of
- 2:09:17Speaker 10: Ohio from Columbus? Maybe Columbus?
- 2:09:24Speaker 2: I think I'm going to have to start drug testing
- 2:09:28Speaker 2: some of the callers to the broadcast.
- 2:09:29Speaker 3: What do you think, G2? I think that might have
- 2:09:31Speaker 3: to happen.
- 2:09:31Speaker 6: I think I'm going to start drinking more before I call.
- 2:09:34Speaker 3: Yeah, you're on here. Hello.
- 2:09:37Speaker 5: Yeah, how you doing?
- 2:09:38Speaker 4: Hey, G2?
- 2:09:38Speaker 3: Yeah, go ahead.
- 2:09:40Speaker 6: Yeah, this is Pete. First time.
- 2:09:43Speaker 5: Call our longtime listener.
- 2:09:45Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:09:45Speaker 5: Listen, Ron, I just wanted to wish Fifth Avenue his
- 2:09:50Speaker 5: 81st birthday. I know he's a longtime caller to the show.
- 2:09:53Speaker 6: Yes.
- 2:09:53Speaker 3: Is he turning 81 today?
- 2:09:54Speaker 6: 81. Can you believe that?
- 2:09:57Speaker 3: Is it today?
- 2:09:57Speaker 2: Well, I want to wish him a happy birthday, too.
- 2:09:59Speaker 3: He's 81 years old. Fifth Avenue. And is he a
- 2:10:03Speaker 3: hell of a guy? He seems like he'd be a
- 2:10:04Speaker 3: hell of a guy.
- 2:10:05Speaker 9: Great guy.
- 2:10:06Speaker 5: Even better cook.
- 2:10:08Speaker 3: Really?
- 2:10:09Speaker 5: Phenomenal food.
- 2:10:10Speaker 3: 81 years old today. Fifth Avenue.
- 2:10:14Speaker 2: Happy birthday to him. And sometimes he goes to these
- 2:10:17Speaker 2: No Kings protests. I mean, you know, he's a little lost,
- 2:10:20Speaker 2: but I'm bringing him around. Slowly he's coming my way.
- 2:10:23Speaker 5: You know, keep him on the show.
- 2:10:25Speaker 6: Great dude. Great dude.
- 2:10:26Speaker 5: But I got to tell you, G2, unbelievable content you
- 2:10:30Speaker 5: bring to the show. I mean, you're right on point.
- 2:10:34Speaker 4: No doubt.
- 2:10:35Speaker 5: We can't have these things happen in these small communities
- 2:10:39Speaker 5: at all. Can't have it. You know, we had immigrants
- 2:10:45Speaker 5: come in. At least they acclimated to the culture.
- 2:10:50Speaker 2: Well, you had to assimilate when you came to America.
- 2:10:53Speaker 2: That's how it worked. Now anymore, it's like, no, you're
- 2:10:57Speaker 2: supposed to. I don't even know why some of these
- 2:10:59Speaker 2: people come here if they think that this country is
- 2:11:01Speaker 2: such a terrible place and they think it should. Like, like,
- 2:11:05Speaker 2: what's the point of Ilhan Omar even being here, G2?
- 2:11:07Speaker 2: I mean, she just seems like she hates.
- 2:11:09Speaker 3: It, doesn't she?
- 2:11:10Speaker 6: Well, for her, the point is to, and she says this,
- 2:11:13Speaker 6: this is her own speech, right? It's wants to use
- 2:11:15Speaker 6: the United States government to benefit her country. That's how
- 2:11:18Speaker 6: she phrases it. It's not this country that's her country.
- 2:11:21Speaker 6: It's Somalia. And, you know, so she's part of that.
- 2:11:25Speaker 6: They want to come here and drain off all the
- 2:11:27Speaker 6: wealth they can. And, you know, it's the earlier, as
- 2:11:30Speaker 6: I was trying to indicate to him, we're so naive
- 2:11:32Speaker 6: and gullible and kind and comfortable that we just let
- 2:11:35Speaker 6: it happen. So the Somalis that got busted took $ 20
- 2:11:39Speaker 6: billion from the federal government and spent most of it
- 2:11:43Speaker 6: overseas but bought a lot of big cars and big
- 2:11:46Speaker 6: houses with their leering centers and their daycare operations. Some
- 2:11:55Speaker 6: of the folks in some of these other cultures feel
- 2:11:57Speaker 6: like if you've made it easy for them to steal
- 2:12:00Speaker 6: from you, they're bound to do it. It's like an obligation.
- 2:12:05Speaker 3: Yeah, they think you're the fool.
- 2:12:07Speaker 6: Yeah, they're like, well, of course I stole it. You
- 2:12:09Speaker 6: made it easy. You left it out and unlocked.
- 2:12:11Speaker 20: Right.
- 2:12:12Speaker 6: There's no sense of a high-trust society in those cultures.
- 2:12:16Speaker 6: And as they penetrate the U.S. and, you know, we gullible, kind, affable, fun,
- 2:12:22Speaker 6: easy-going Americans let them stomp all over us, we then
- 2:12:24Speaker 6: turn around and find out we're going to be like Germany.
- 2:12:27Speaker 6: We're going to be like Spain.
- 2:12:28Speaker 3: Or what's going on in Ireland right now.
- 2:12:30Speaker 6: Yep. Ireland is tragic. Yeah.
- 2:12:33Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:12:33Speaker 2: Thank you, and happy birthday to Fifth Avenue if you
- 2:12:35Speaker 2: see him.
- 2:12:36Speaker 3: All right, you're on air.
- 2:12:38Speaker 38: Hey, G2, RC1 here. The Muslims and the Christians can't
- 2:12:45Speaker 38: live together. It's all about how they treat their women,
- 2:12:49Speaker 38: I believe. It boils down to women. I think that's
- 2:12:53Speaker 38: what it is. But Ron always talks about painting the
- 2:12:58Speaker 38: broad brush, but we have to paint a broad brush
- 2:13:02Speaker 38: for the Democrats. Wide open borders. Vote for free benefits.
- 2:13:08Speaker 38: That's why they want a wide open border. Don't have
- 2:13:11Speaker 38: to work. It's not rocket science. The Democrats want votes
- 2:13:18Speaker 38: and power. That's all they care about. If you have
- 2:13:23Speaker 38: common sense, you will never vote for a Democrat is
- 2:13:26Speaker 38: my take.
- 2:13:28Speaker 3: There it is. Straight from Rock Creek, Ohio, RC1.
- 2:13:31Speaker 8: That's right.
- 2:13:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:13:32Speaker 38: And I want to tell you how to cook a
- 2:13:33Speaker 38: good brisket.
- 2:13:34Speaker 3: No, thanks. You're on the air.
- 2:13:36Speaker 7: Hello, Ron and G2.
- 2:13:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:13:39Speaker 7: I got an article today on G2' s analysis. President Trump
- 2:13:44Speaker 7: met with these tech executives yesterday. One of them was
- 2:13:47Speaker 7: Peter Thiel. He said we need a one-world government as
- 2:13:51Speaker 7: the only way to protect global citizens from artificial intelligence development.
- 2:13:58Speaker 11: What do you think of that?
- 2:14:01Speaker 6: I think the entire tech ultra-billionaire leadership is now talking
- 2:14:07Speaker 6: all the time about merging tech and government. And I
- 2:14:10Speaker 6: think it's absolutely– you understand their view, right? It's we're
- 2:14:14Speaker 6: going to merge tech into your body. We're going to
- 2:14:17Speaker 6: merge that using these high-speed cellular systems and these new
- 2:14:24Speaker 6: neural link type of devices. And then we want to
- 2:14:29Speaker 6: have one government globally– which will really end up being
- 2:14:33Speaker 6: effectively a global surveillance state, not just a surveillance state
- 2:14:36Speaker 6: in India where like 1.2 billion people are in there.
- 2:14:42Speaker 6: They have a single ID for every single thing they do.
- 2:14:46Speaker 6: The idea is to roll that out globally so that
- 2:14:48Speaker 6: these ultra-wealthy people who control the tech system control the world.
- 2:14:55Speaker 6: And it's not a secret. They make it public. But
- 2:14:57Speaker 6: now they're talking more and more about these tech companies
- 2:14:59Speaker 6: being too big to fail.
- 2:15:01Speaker 10: Right?
- 2:15:01Speaker 6: They're using that phrase because I think there's a cash
- 2:15:03Speaker 6: flow problem inside the system. They need a complete change
- 2:15:08Speaker 6: in our economic and social setup in order to generate
- 2:15:11Speaker 6: the cash flow to cover their costs, what they see
- 2:15:14Speaker 6: their costs going to be. And the only one that
- 2:15:16Speaker 6: can cover that is government because they could take it
- 2:15:19Speaker 6: from you at gunpoint. So this is a scary time.
- 2:15:24Speaker 6: And the digital control grid is is a scary development
- 2:15:28Speaker 6: and it's moving very quickly, much more quickly than our
- 2:15:31Speaker 6: understanding of how that grid will work and what the
- 2:15:34Speaker 6: risks are, what it really implies as to our future.
- 2:15:38Speaker 6: We still live in a relatively free society. We still
- 2:15:42Speaker 6: have relatively some of our constitutional protections of our rights.
- 2:15:46Speaker 6: Some of them, like the Fourth Amendment's been horribly eroded,
- 2:15:48Speaker 6: Fourteenth Amendment eroded and all that, but we still have some.
- 2:15:52Speaker 6: When you look around the world and you see where
- 2:15:54Speaker 6: these other countries are, you realize where it's going, where
- 2:15:56Speaker 6: it's At some point, Americans are going to have to
- 2:15:59Speaker 6: either get active or lose their freedoms. That's why with
- 2:16:04Speaker 6: this election, I say if your decision is you're not
- 2:16:06Speaker 6: going to vote because you're so angry, you're black-pilled, as
- 2:16:09Speaker 6: we call it, right? Well, I really don't care if
- 2:16:13Speaker 6: there's a candidate you like or don't like. You have
- 2:16:15Speaker 6: to vote for the least destructive candidate that you think
- 2:16:17Speaker 6: will be easiest to manage. You have to try to
- 2:16:20Speaker 6: get that person elected. And then you have to engage
- 2:16:23Speaker 6: as a citizen between elections in some way. which could
- 2:16:28Speaker 6: be contacting elected officials. Perfect example. I got another second.
- 2:16:32Speaker 6: There was a rule proposed by the government in Pennsylvania
- 2:16:36Speaker 6: called 10-242. This was basically a state department of health
- 2:16:41Speaker 6: rule that would have given that department of health the
- 2:16:44Speaker 6: same kind of power the health organization is seeking and
- 2:16:47Speaker 6: that all the government sees during COVID. The power to
- 2:16:51Speaker 6: go into schools and deal with your children without your presence.
- 2:16:54Speaker 6: The power to seize your medical records, to track your emotions,
- 2:16:58Speaker 6: control what you can and can't do, where you can
- 2:17:00Speaker 6: and can't go. I mean, it was a tyranny in
- 2:17:03Speaker 6: a proposed rule, not legislation, a rule.
- 2:17:06Speaker 37: 5,000 citizens in Pennsylvania responded with comments on that rule,
- 2:17:13Speaker 37: and the radical Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, had
- 2:17:17Speaker 37: to suspend it.
- 2:17:18Speaker 6: So it was in the proposed rule. process.
- 2:17:21Speaker 3: There you go. All right. Thank you, caller. Appreciate it.
- 2:17:24Speaker 3: Back with more in a minute. Stay tuned.
- 2:17:32Speaker 9: 70 WKBN.
- 2:17:33Speaker 2: Ron from the kingdom of Mahoney, as always, 555 Wednesday,
- 2:17:37Speaker 2: September 30th, 70 degrees G2 on the line. Take some
- 2:17:41Speaker 2: quick calls before we run out of time.
- 2:17:43Speaker 3: Uh, you're on the air.
- 2:17:47Speaker 34: Hello?
- 2:17:48Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:17:48Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 2:17:49Speaker 34: Uh, this uh is not an attempt to be simplistic
- 2:17:54Speaker 34: but i've found it a good summary on occasion the
- 2:17:58Speaker 34: question does your god want to kill me And the
- 2:18:05Speaker 34: answer is very significant. Does your God want to kill me? That,
- 2:18:14Speaker 34: to me, would be uppermost in any decisions or discussions,
- 2:18:19Speaker 34: one-on-one or group-on-group. Again, not an attempt to oversimplify things,
- 2:18:26Speaker 34: but I think that's a sensible question.
- 2:18:29Speaker 3: I think that's a good point. I thank you for
- 2:18:32Speaker 3: bringing it to my attention. I like that. What do
- 2:18:34Speaker 3: you say, G2?
- 2:18:36Speaker 6: It's a great point. It's really speaking to the true
- 2:18:40Speaker 6: compatibility of these cultures. And to be clear, we should
- 2:18:43Speaker 6: talk about Lebanon another time. There are Christians living in
- 2:18:46Speaker 6: lands controlled by Muslims. In some ways, they're okay. But
- 2:18:50Speaker 6: to think that they have any kind of freedom or
- 2:18:52Speaker 6: influence is not there. And as you watch Lebanon transition, it's...
- 2:18:59Speaker 6: it's going to be, well, it's already ugly. Yeah.
- 2:19:03Speaker 3: To say the least, you're on the air. Hello?
- 2:19:08Speaker 14: Hello?
- 2:19:08Speaker 3: Yes, go ahead.
- 2:19:11Speaker 35: So just to capitalize on what G2 said about other countries,
- 2:19:17Speaker 35: the thing that voters need to understand is the countries
- 2:19:19Speaker 35: he's talking about are Europe and Canada. And the freedoms
- 2:19:25Speaker 35: that those people have lost are monumental compared to what
- 2:19:29Speaker 35: we enjoy in America. And if you think it's not
- 2:19:33Speaker 35: going to happen here, you're out of your mind, because
- 2:19:35Speaker 35: it has already happened in Europe and Canada.
- 2:19:38Speaker 6: That's my point.
- 2:19:41Speaker 3: Thank you. Agree with that, G2?
- 2:19:43Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 2:19:45Speaker 2: You just got to pay attention and see what's going
- 2:19:49Speaker 2: on with the influx that has happened. Well, look at
- 2:19:52Speaker 2: how the true folks that are in Ireland want to
- 2:19:57Speaker 2: take their country back from all the people that were
- 2:20:00Speaker 2: let in without asking them if it was okay, right?
- 2:20:03Speaker 2: I mean, totally changing the entire makeup.
- 2:20:07Speaker 6: And something as fundamental as freedom of speech, freedom of assembly,
- 2:20:09Speaker 6: gone in Canada and Europe, Australia, New Zealand, gone. You
- 2:20:13Speaker 6: cannot speak freely. You can't even post on social media
- 2:20:17Speaker 6: without risking jail time. The people that I speak to
- 2:20:20Speaker 6: in Ireland use fake names so they don't go to jail.
- 2:20:24Speaker 3: Amen. Thank you, G2. Appreciate it. There you go, G2.
- 2:20:28Speaker 3: Stay tuned. Sean's Anity's next.
