- 0:09Speaker 2: Welcome to Thursday, Yeah, Jerry Jacksonville, Thursday, February twenty eight,
- 0:14Speaker 2: to your morning.
- 0:15Speaker 1: While just still, it sounds like my tongue's waking up.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Good morning, Megan, Morning, Froggy, Good morning, John.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Morna frog on the way in this morning.
- 0:21Speaker 3: I had to pull over and turn my contact back
- 0:24Speaker 3: right side out.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Oof. I took it out last night at home. I
- 0:27Speaker 1: was kind of in a hurry.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You're supposed to take him out before you get in
- 0:29Speaker 2: the shower, okay, because all the moisture from the shower
- 0:31Speaker 2: kind of it kind of latches onto your eye even harder.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Right.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Well, last night I forgot wow, So I took it
- 0:37Speaker 2: out after the shower, and I think when I did,
- 0:38Speaker 2: it must have turned inside out. So this morning at
- 0:42Speaker 2: four fifteen when I woke up, I didn't realize it
- 0:44Speaker 2: was inside out until driving to work, so I pulled
- 0:47Speaker 2: over on the side of the road and flipped it
- 0:48Speaker 2: back right shade out.
- 0:49Speaker 3: You're taking in your eye?
- 0:51Speaker 1: You speaking to my ey the side of film sideway. Yes,
- 0:55Speaker 1: that was me. That was me.
- 0:56Speaker 4: So when it's in backwards, does it is it like
- 0:58Speaker 4: an Instagram filter where you could and like flip it
- 1:01Speaker 4: around like it's mirrored.
- 1:02Speaker 2: No, you feel that, you feel the top edge and
- 1:04Speaker 2: bottom edge like and when you blink you feel your
- 1:07Speaker 2: eye like dragging on it.
- 1:08Speaker 1: That's crazy. As the edges are standing up. I thought
- 1:10Speaker 1: it would be like boomerang, you know, would go back
- 1:12Speaker 1: and forth. You could just keep doing it.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like metaglasses if you.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Did it inside out. I wanted to be like the
- 1:17Speaker 2: opposite of like magnifying glass. It's like far away like
- 1:20Speaker 2: a yeah, that's great filter.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Ye. Yeah, it doesn't mark.
- 1:23Speaker 3: It flows zoom.
- 1:24Speaker 1: No, it doesn't mark that work on that Google work
- 1:26Speaker 1: on that. It didn't mark. How was the name name?
- 1:28Speaker 3: It was good.
- 1:29Speaker 4: I just spent a lot of time doing homework for
- 1:32Speaker 4: my So she's getting I'm trying.
- 1:34Speaker 1: To what about you, John? I went to a concert lesson.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I went to a guy named Steve hackett Is. He
- 1:39Speaker 1: was a guitar player in the early formation of Genesis
- 1:42Speaker 1: in the seventies. Real progressive rock, I mean, like really
- 1:45Speaker 1: out there. But a friend of mine is a huge
- 1:47Speaker 1: fan and I liked him back in the day, and
- 1:50Speaker 1: uh so we went is at the Point of Eater
- 1:52Speaker 1: concert Hall, which is a gorgeous venue.
- 1:55Speaker 4: It.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they've redone it and it is gorgeous, just beautiful.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I can't wait to go to the next concert. There's
- 2:01Speaker 1: come by the house and live r run the corner.
- 2:03Speaker 3: I know had a sleepover.
- 2:04Speaker 1: We could have there wouldn't have been sleep I didn't
- 2:08Speaker 1: get home till eleven. Oh yeah, see, you would have
- 2:09Speaker 1: got more sleep in my house if you was true.
- 2:11Speaker 2: You could have been sitting there in the truck while
- 2:13Speaker 2: I was digging in my eye on the side of
- 2:14Speaker 2: Phillips Highway.
- 2:15Speaker 3: You could have car pulled it everything I could.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I could have driven while you dug in your eye.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 2:20Speaker 2: So Meghan claims she found some lucky song. Yeah, definitely
- 2:23Speaker 2: have to listen to this song later on.
- 2:24Speaker 3: It is. I promise it is extremely lucky.
- 2:27Speaker 1: You got it.
- 2:27Speaker 2: You gotta tell the story the way you told John
- 2:29Speaker 2: and I it was semi like I was semi buying
- 2:32Speaker 2: it for a few minutes. So we thought about what
- 2:34Speaker 2: song that was, and then I'm like, never mind, that
- 2:36Speaker 2: song's not like. That song's never brought me luck. No,
- 2:38Speaker 2: but we will absolutely get into what Meghan believes is
- 2:41Speaker 2: a lucky song. Yeah, we will, because there could be
- 2:44Speaker 2: maybe maybe there's something to it, maybe not, maybe there is.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I don't want to totally like pulled on my pants
- 2:48Speaker 2: and all over it.
- 2:50Speaker 4: However you should have because we played it for a
- 2:53Speaker 4: couple of seconds here.
- 2:54Speaker 3: So this is going to be so great for today.
- 2:56Speaker 1: What good has happened since then?
- 2:58Speaker 3: We have to wait and see. Universe isn't on Froggy's timeline.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Okay, all right, just checking I find out what's going
- 3:06Speaker 2: on this Jacksonville Thursday. The number one thing is Putsatani
- 3:09Speaker 2: John is still right, dang right, thirties is over. Yeah,
- 3:11Speaker 2: it's gonna be warmer. Tony, I'm wearing shorts. I'm wearing
- 3:13Speaker 2: shorts until November.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Look at that. He's fully committed.
- 3:16Speaker 1: He does. I'm committed to the idea.
- 3:18Speaker 4: And it's good because when football season rolls around, it'll
- 3:21Speaker 4: be nice and warm outside. We've got a little update
- 3:24Speaker 4: on the Jags Stadium of the Future. Construction is continuing
- 3:28Speaker 4: on right on track. They're fifteen percent done, and although
- 3:33Speaker 4: it sounds like fifteen percent, that's not a lot.
- 3:35Speaker 3: They're on schedule. Yeah, good, and that is a lot.
- 3:38Speaker 4: You know, they've brought in more equipment and they're just
- 3:41Speaker 4: going to town on it.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Good. I like it.
- 3:43Speaker 4: There's a new statue in Saint Augustine. If you're out
- 3:46Speaker 4: and about around Anderson's Circle, you'll see it. Governor DeSantis
- 3:52Speaker 4: just unveiled it. It's a big statue of Frederick Douglas
- 3:55Speaker 4: and it looks pretty cool.
- 3:56Speaker 3: So that's something different.
- 3:58Speaker 1: You'll see he's putting up these statues. Who's all around
- 4:00Speaker 1: the state. Yeah, like you had one for James Monroe,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I think, or Madison one of those down what you
- 4:05Speaker 1: guys from Monroe, Monroe County, And so yeah, it's very cool,
- 4:08Speaker 1: all ya.
- 4:08Speaker 4: It would be cool to kind of go on a
- 4:10Speaker 4: little road trip through Florida and see all the different
- 4:12Speaker 4: ones that end up popping up.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Good.
- 4:13Speaker 4: There's a thousand plus square feet development or not square feet.
- 4:18Speaker 4: There's a very big development happening in Pelican.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Park off of ninety five.
- 4:24Speaker 4: It'll have homes, medical facilities, shopping, and you guys will
- 4:28Speaker 4: be excited because it'll have also a brand new publics
- 4:30Speaker 4: that you can frequent every single day.
- 4:32Speaker 3: All that's three things you need to know, all.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Right, If you're up this early. We need to hear
- 4:36Speaker 2: from you. We want to know why you up. Nine
- 4:38Speaker 2: oh four three eight thirty six ninety nine. Be our
- 4:40Speaker 2: first caller of the day, but first checking Jacksonville traffic
- 4:43Speaker 2: on this Thursday morning.
- 4:44Speaker 1: It's the Big Show with Froggy John and Megan Steve.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Why you up? Where are you heading?
- 4:49Speaker 2: I'm heading to the area of fifty three?
- 4:51Speaker 1: So what might we find an area fifty three? Well,
- 4:54Speaker 1: it's funny you should have. I'm not supposed to tell you,
- 4:55Speaker 1: but people, I'm on.
- 4:56Speaker 3: The phone, and you probably won't tell anybody.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I won't tell anybody. Yeah, we go toilet paper testing.
- 5:03Speaker 1: We're at the Big Show. It's Froggy John and Meghan.
- 5:05Speaker 1: We sure appreciate you taking us with you.
- 5:06Speaker 2: The world was on fire, it'd be a little bit
- 5:08Speaker 2: warmer outside. Yeah, just a little bit. But it is
- 5:10Speaker 2: a little warmer than it was yesterday and this week.
- 5:12Speaker 2: And that's thanks to who Meghan punks any John? John
- 5:16Speaker 2: got it right. I did so yesterday. You know, John's
- 5:19Speaker 2: been saying all week that we were gonna the thirties,
- 5:21Speaker 2: was going with the end of it was yesterday morning
- 5:23Speaker 2: and I think we reached forty degrees yesterday morning.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Right around like seven fifteen, and that was thirty and.
- 5:28Speaker 1: That was it. Say goodbye, just like that morgan on song.
- 5:30Speaker 1: It ain't coming back, right, So I believe.
- 5:33Speaker 2: John, But I did want to reach out to somebody
- 5:36Speaker 2: who was educated in weather, you know what I mean a.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Little bit more than just my trick hip, right, Okay.
- 5:41Speaker 4: We just wanted to confirm what our ground hog already said.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:45Speaker 2: You weren't trying to disprove him. This is making sure
- 5:47Speaker 2: the difference is Meghan. If John says it like Megan hog,
- 5:50Speaker 2: have you been here now three or four months? Four months?
- 5:52Speaker 1: Five months? Yeah?
- 5:53Speaker 2: If John says and Megan thinks it's the gospel, and
- 5:56Speaker 2: then usually that is the case.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Yeah, because John and his wife made cast roles for
- 6:01Speaker 4: me on Christmas.
- 6:02Speaker 2: So that makes all the guy does feed you and
- 6:04Speaker 2: full of a sudden you're the expert.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 2: So we talked to Lewis Turner from First Coast News
- 6:09Speaker 2: and Louis Turner, who is an expert by trade. He
- 6:12Speaker 2: is a meteorologist, gold Seal standard everything.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yep.
- 6:16Speaker 2: He said, John's right, we will not see the thirties
- 6:19Speaker 2: again until fall.
- 6:20Speaker 1: And I did not get together with Lou before we
- 6:23Speaker 1: are friends off off the radio. But no, I did
- 6:26Speaker 1: not call him. I did not consult because I texted
- 6:28Speaker 1: Lou and said, hey, can we call you real quick?
- 6:30Speaker 1: And he said about what right, So he had no idea.
- 6:33Speaker 4: I mean, he sounds like a really great guy, but
- 6:35Speaker 4: I don't know how his cast roll game is.
- 6:37Speaker 3: So I don't know.
- 6:38Speaker 1: If if he's up there with John Cary make sausage
- 6:41Speaker 1: bread like my wife. That's pretty much what she said.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That didn't care.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Our groundhog knows what's up, and I never doubted you
- 6:49Speaker 4: once punks it toney John.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Megan. But just that this story
- 6:53Speaker 2: is is that we are done with winter. Yes, winter
- 6:55Speaker 2: of twenty twenty six is behind us. Now it's ov
- 6:58Speaker 2: John's got shorts on today.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I do. I'm shorts. This is called shorts still November.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So what's yours? So your I thought your cut off
- 7:05Speaker 1: was fifty, well it was, and I saw it was
- 7:08Speaker 1: forty nine. It was kind of hanging right there right,
- 7:10Speaker 1: So I did bring a jacket. Okay, So I'm a
- 7:13Speaker 1: jacket with shorts, guys, so my legs really don't get cold.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's gonna be seventy today or seven, no, seventy four,
- 7:18Speaker 2: seventy six days and then tomorrow expecting some showers to
- 7:22Speaker 2: roll through and then be gone early Saturday morning. A
- 7:25Speaker 2: little cooler on Saturday, but only back in the sixties.
- 7:27Speaker 2: And then next week looks absolutely picture perfect. Let's keep
- 7:30Speaker 2: fingers crossed for the player and the players campions here. Yeah,
- 7:32Speaker 2: I hope that's great.
- 7:33Speaker 3: To Yeah, that'll be wonderful for that.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It's good to make his music city minute. Lots going
- 7:37Speaker 2: on in Nashville. I've seen lots of story, so kind
- 7:39Speaker 2: of tell us what's going.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Yeah, the CMA Fest just dropped its Nissan Stadium lineup.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Ella Langley, Riley Green, Kojo, and Bailey Zimmerman are all announced.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Ella and Riley somewhere on the same stage, somewhere in
- 7:52Speaker 1: the same backstage as well.
- 7:54Speaker 3: That'll be a little interesting.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I saw that saw Luke Brian Jason Aldan like. The
- 7:58Speaker 2: Nissan Stadium is one that. Yeah, if you ever wanted
- 8:01Speaker 2: to go on a road trip to Nashville and just
- 8:04Speaker 2: see some shows, this is the time to go see
- 8:06Speaker 2: and Mayfest.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It's definitely it.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Yeah, just a party and you can see everyone you want.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Since Ella and Riley will be there. I wonder if
- 8:13Speaker 4: maybe Megan Maroney might make an appearance, and that would
- 8:15Speaker 4: really be the I see it on the cake.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Yes, he might's going on now. June fourth through the seventh.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Luke Combe says no to GLP ones.
- 8:23Speaker 4: People have been asking him, Hey, you're starting to look
- 8:25Speaker 4: like a little healthier, a little more in shape.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Are you doing.
- 8:29Speaker 4: The the GLP ones we see on commercials this day?
- 8:32Speaker 1: I do commercials sometimes too.
- 8:33Speaker 4: They said, No, he wants to do things, you know,
- 8:36Speaker 4: for him, it feels best to do it the healthy,
- 8:38Speaker 4: more traditional way, So good for him.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it is pretty cool.
- 8:42Speaker 4: I wonder if he's cutting down on the amount of
- 8:43Speaker 4: beers he's shot gutting, because that man, he can put
- 8:46Speaker 4: him down like no other you really can. Carly Pearce
- 8:49Speaker 4: is teasing a new song coming out with a collaboration,
- 8:52Speaker 4: but she hasn't told us who it is. All she
- 8:54Speaker 4: said is one of the biggest artists in country music
- 8:58Speaker 4: and who's one of her childhood heroes.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Any any boo boo? I know who it is.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I knew I was going to ask you who is it?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Does it? Does it rhyme with Molly Yarton? It does not, okay.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Does it rhyme with rars Rooks?
- 9:12Speaker 1: No? Uh, pepa whack and tire No, okay.
- 9:15Speaker 4: There's a good guess well, Jorey straight, okay.
- 9:21Speaker 3: If you get this, okay?
- 9:23Speaker 1: Is it a woman? No?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Is it a guy?
- 9:27Speaker 2: Well, if it's not a woman, I mean it's not
- 9:29Speaker 2: a dog. And in my world there are only two genders.
- 9:36Speaker 3: That's what's happening though. We'll keep trying on. Froggy Megan
- 9:38Speaker 3: music City minute.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I looked at the cord check on your Jacksonville chapp
- 9:42Speaker 2: It gets you where you're going.
- 9:42Speaker 1: On time this Thursday flowing pretty good. There's it looks
- 9:46Speaker 1: like maybe a shoulder blocked on the Buckkins. I hope
- 9:48Speaker 1: you're doing well. Froggy, chout and Megan. Great to be
- 9:50Speaker 1: with you. John.
- 9:51Speaker 2: You ever been in that situation where your kids just
- 9:53Speaker 2: says a curt the very first time your kid says
- 9:55Speaker 2: a curse word, and you're like.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Oh, what that song rang a bell with me Man's
- 9:59Speaker 1: That's son was what maybe ten when that came out,
- 10:02Speaker 1: so it was only a few years beforehand.
- 10:04Speaker 2: You're like, what did you learn that you? I'll tell
- 10:08Speaker 2: you guys a quick funny story. So Caden was at school.
- 10:12Speaker 2: He's in pre school. This is pre k this is
- 10:14Speaker 2: pre kindergarten, okay, and the teacher was saying it was
- 10:18Speaker 2: time to clean up. Kate clean up his mess. And
- 10:20Speaker 2: then teacher's like, kitten, you have to clean up the mess.
- 10:24Speaker 2: He's like, not my mess, and they're like, yeah, but
- 10:26Speaker 2: where everybody's helping.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Not my mess.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Everybody's helping. He looked at teachers straight out and goes,
- 10:32Speaker 2: it's not my fn mess.
- 10:33Speaker 1: WHOA. He ended up in the principal's office and when
- 10:36Speaker 1: they asked him, where do you hear words like that?
- 10:39Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 10:39Speaker 3: He said, Daddy?
- 10:41Speaker 2: He says, my mommy, Oh no, I've never wanted to
- 10:47Speaker 2: drive to school and hug him more.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Yes, Lisa in the principal's office.
- 10:54Speaker 2: She went to pick him up and they told her
- 10:55Speaker 2: what she said. She's like, well, that might have come
- 10:57Speaker 2: out in traffic A time or two. You play in traffic.
- 11:00Speaker 2: You're right, it was not daddy.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I was loving it. Yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 2: So Megan, you came in this morning and you were
- 11:07Speaker 2: over the moon about something that happened yesterday.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Yes, because I saw a video on TikTok that said
- 11:13Speaker 4: that there's this song that is supposed to like bring
- 11:16Speaker 4: you a bunch of abundance in life. And this girl
- 11:18Speaker 4: was saying, she was like, this song they want a
- 11:21Speaker 4: lot to play in casinos because it's too lucky basically,
- 11:25Speaker 4: And I'm like, whoa, I'm about to take my test,
- 11:28Speaker 4: this really difficult test for my master's degree. I have
- 11:30Speaker 4: to pass it. If I have to retake it, I
- 11:33Speaker 4: might not make it through my term.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Have you taken it? Have you tried to take it
- 11:36Speaker 1: before and didn't pass? No?
- 11:37Speaker 4: But the last test I had it took me three
- 11:40Speaker 4: tries to get it. Okay, So I'm on the cusp
- 11:42Speaker 4: of I gotta pass this test. So I'm like, I'm
- 11:45Speaker 4: gonna play this song. I've never heard the song before,
- 11:48Speaker 4: never heard the song before. And this girl, she said
- 11:50Speaker 4: that she has like this thing where she dances to
- 11:53Speaker 4: the song every morning and these wonderful things keep happening
- 11:56Speaker 4: to her. So I play this song. It's called Ring
- 11:59Speaker 4: My Bell by a Need Award.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Big number one hit from the late seventies, disco and
- 12:06Speaker 1: the disco error I mean era.
- 12:09Speaker 3: The frequency is supposed to do something to.
- 12:11Speaker 1: You, Okay, it does it does me doing it? It's
- 12:14Speaker 1: doing it. Yeah. The song has been consistent in my life.
- 12:18Speaker 1: It's consistently giving me a headache. John, take that rope
- 12:21Speaker 1: from around your neck.
- 12:22Speaker 4: John.
- 12:24Speaker 1: This part is John Basels. But then it's when she
- 12:28Speaker 1: gets to that really high party, bring my bell. I
- 12:32Speaker 1: can't get there. I can't get there, and thank god
- 12:33Speaker 1: I control the audio here.
- 12:35Speaker 3: So it's supposed to be the magic No, it ain't
- 12:37Speaker 3: making it.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Oh that's the magic part. Yeah, come on, John, all right,
- 12:40Speaker 1: I can do it once. You can do it once.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So this is supposed to make good things happen in
- 12:44Speaker 1: your life.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Yeah, here me go.
- 12:50Speaker 1: My collar is getting wider going back to and it's polyester.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Now wait a minute, all right, so you so okay,
- 13:00Speaker 1: so you listen to this song? Yes?
- 13:01Speaker 3: I did, and then I did.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Did you take the test yet?
- 13:03Speaker 3: I took my test? I passed it?
- 13:06Speaker 1: You did?
- 13:08Speaker 3: I have three hours to take this test. I passed
- 13:10Speaker 3: it fourty five minutes and you.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Spent another two and a half hours to play in
- 13:13Speaker 1: this phone.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I mean, it was incredible. I was like, you've got
- 13:16Speaker 3: to be kidding me. It worked?
- 13:18Speaker 1: Okay, well, okay, crack it up. I don't know if
- 13:22Speaker 1: I believe this, but you know what I know. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: don't believe any of it until you. You don't know
- 13:26Speaker 1: until you try it. So we played it.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Now we have to see listen nine oh four three
- 13:31Speaker 2: eight eight thirty six ninety nine. If something good happens
- 13:34Speaker 2: to you after listening to that song, we need to
- 13:36Speaker 2: know about it. Check your lottery tickets right now.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Yes, I claims good things come from that song.
- 13:41Speaker 3: And you, guys, I don't know why you don't believe this.
- 13:43Speaker 3: You need more proof. You don't know whyther than my story.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I don't know why we won't believe this.
- 13:47Speaker 3: I just told you I played it and then passed the.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Test because I'm giving credit to you. I think maybe
- 13:52Speaker 1: you're just smart. You're a smart You're a smart person.
- 13:55Speaker 1: This test.
- 13:55Speaker 4: I was looking at it like I have to try
- 13:57Speaker 4: so hard to focus because I'm like, I'm not going
- 13:59Speaker 4: to pass.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Says this is no way.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Fifth Country ninety nine one w qy K The Big
- 14:07Speaker 1: Show with Froggie, John and Meghan. This is an honorary floridiot.
- 14:11Speaker 1: We go to New Jersey where it's been snowing. Things
- 14:14Speaker 1: are frozen over. It's crazy. Uh, but you thought doing
- 14:18Speaker 1: this in a parking lot was dangerous? Some idiot, in
- 14:20Speaker 1: his new truck. He was doing donuts on a frozen lake. Dummy,
- 14:25Speaker 1: dot dot dot. Let's just guess what happened.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, no, this is bad, like really bad.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Someone called nine one one. They saw the roof of
- 14:34Speaker 1: the truck sticking out of the ice. The rest of
- 14:36Speaker 1: it splash, and, as the mayor of Englewood, New Jersey says,
- 14:41Speaker 1: stupidity at.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Its finest, it is booze. Okay, he's fine.
- 14:45Speaker 1: W Q I k shaboozie with the big show froggy
- 14:47Speaker 1: John and Meghan and me with a concert voice. I
- 14:51Speaker 1: got concert voice this morning. I wasn't even woo woo,
- 14:54Speaker 1: And it was just the fact I think I was
- 14:56Speaker 1: up late. You didn't. There was some couple of woots
- 14:59Speaker 1: on some of those guitars. So there's this rock guitarist
- 15:01Speaker 1: named Steve Hackett who used to be in the early
- 15:04Speaker 1: early iteration of Genesis, and so I've just always been
- 15:07Speaker 1: a fan of this guy. So a couple of buddies
- 15:09Speaker 1: of mine we went and saw him, and I wasn't
- 15:11Speaker 1: woot wooting too much. It wasn't the wood woot. It's
- 15:13Speaker 1: just the being up. I think that's why the voice
- 15:15Speaker 1: is a little shot.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Oh, come on, we know you were being a party
- 15:17Speaker 3: girl last night.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Are you that guy? During a song? So they finish
- 15:23Speaker 2: the first verse and then they do the chorus and
- 15:26Speaker 2: there's like that pause and scene.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Are you the whoa? Are you that guy? Depends? I
- 15:36Speaker 1: might have wooted after one of them, because last week
- 15:38Speaker 1: I might have been a wo that slipped out. I
- 15:39Speaker 1: was in.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Nashville last week, and there's like, I don't want to
- 15:42Speaker 2: say who it is because he works for our companies,
- 15:43Speaker 2: A very nice gentleman every single time, because these are
- 15:47Speaker 2: acoustic performances, so it's like a guy singing in between
- 15:51Speaker 2: it is like a pause and he's always whoa.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I'm like okay.
- 15:55Speaker 3: And it got to the.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Point where I knew he's gonna do it every time, Bunny.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I would even turn around to look at him like
- 15:59Speaker 2: we were getting towards the inn. Yeah, here it comes here,
- 16:01Speaker 2: it comes here, it comes in.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Who you would do it?
- 16:03Speaker 1: And he would do it every time. I'm a surprise wooder.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I also, I'll woot when you don't think I want
- 16:07Speaker 1: to woo, that's sorry.
- 16:08Speaker 3: I keep you on your woo all the way home too.
- 16:14Speaker 2: I've got a woo moment. For Megan Okay the Jacksonville
- 16:18Speaker 2: Jumbo Shrimp Woo. Now that mascot, Scampy Woo is up
- 16:23Speaker 2: for an award Scariest Creature Alive. He is one of
- 16:28Speaker 2: twenty nominees for USA Today's ten Best Minor League Baseball
- 16:33Speaker 2: Mascots in their twenty twenty six Readers' Choice Awards. Scampy
- 16:37Speaker 2: was introduced as the team's mascot in twenty seventeen and
- 16:41Speaker 2: a team transitioned from the Suns to the Shrimp.
- 16:43Speaker 1: That's when they made the transition and they brought Scampy out.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Scampy was the new one.
- 16:47Speaker 2: He joined the mascot's south Paul the K nine, and
- 16:50Speaker 2: both mascots now visit with fans during your most Shrimp games.
- 16:52Speaker 2: That's by star Ballpark.
- 16:53Speaker 1: You know how many minor league mascots there are tons
- 16:56Speaker 1: of them? How many minor league baseball teams are I
- 16:58Speaker 1: look at Scampy here making the cut and you refuse
- 17:01Speaker 1: to meet with Scampy.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I am going to vote against all of them,
- 17:05Speaker 4: and that I'm actually going to email that award and
- 17:08Speaker 4: say stop terrifying the children, no care about our youth,
- 17:11Speaker 4: and stop bringing these abominations around So listeners.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I need you to do us a solid. You can
- 17:17Speaker 2: vote for Scampy once a day until voting ends on Monday,
- 17:21Speaker 2: March sixteenth. So between now and March sixteenth, John, we're
- 17:24Speaker 2: on two separate IP addresses here. We both have to
- 17:26Speaker 2: go vote for scamping We will every single day. There
- 17:29Speaker 2: will be ten winners will be revealed on Wednesday, March
- 17:32Speaker 2: twenty fifth, and if he wins. If Scampy wins one
- 17:36Speaker 2: of the ten, I say we have to bring him
- 17:38Speaker 2: in here and congratulate him.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yeah, on his success.
- 17:40Speaker 3: I agree, no, because I will.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Of course, if there's gonna be mascots that are winning something,
- 17:46Speaker 4: I want it to be ours because I love the city. Yes,
- 17:49Speaker 4: but I don't want him in this building. I don't
- 17:53Speaker 4: like I can you.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I can see it now, Megan sitting here doing the show,
- 17:57Speaker 2: Scampy disappears in the doorway.
- 18:00Speaker 4: You hear a different type of woo. It would be
- 18:01Speaker 4: a curling scream. Oh my gosh.
- 18:06Speaker 1: It's a different wo.
- 18:08Speaker 2: We need to put a link on our Instagram story
- 18:11Speaker 2: everywhere there and vote. We got to do what we
- 18:13Speaker 2: constantly our Scampy is up for an award. He deserves
- 18:16Speaker 2: to win. He's a good man.
- 18:18Speaker 1: And he deserves it. He's a good trimp.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a good trimp. Have you ever met a
- 18:23Speaker 2: bad trimp? You ever eat a bad trimp? No trimp
- 18:25Speaker 2: are good. So he's good. We like, we like Scampy.
- 18:28Speaker 4: I don't even have any words right now because I
- 18:30Speaker 4: keep visualizing this horrifying experience.
- 18:33Speaker 2: What the heck If he wins, John's gonna give him
- 18:35Speaker 2: a big woo. Yeah, see, there we go. No get
- 18:40Speaker 2: back of three things other than Scampy being up. I mean,
- 18:43Speaker 2: there are so many Minor League mascots, think about it,
- 18:46Speaker 2: and Scampy's one of the best of the best. He's
- 18:48Speaker 2: gonna be honored.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Let me know, so I can call him stick that day.
- 18:51Speaker 2: There'll be no warning. You'll just look at that door
- 18:53Speaker 2: and he'll be standing in crazy looking slip.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Okay, I need to get my brain off of fear.
- 19:01Speaker 3: This will do it.
- 19:01Speaker 4: There's a new Kava location coming to Bay Meadows.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Really, Yes, I knew that was gonna get you excited.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Probably Willkava because you like the what There are chips chips,
- 19:12Speaker 1: both peda chips.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Ah, man, those are really good.
- 19:14Speaker 1: They're so good.
- 19:15Speaker 4: It'll be where the old Burger Bar Grill was just
- 19:18Speaker 4: east of ninety five, so we can look forward to that.
- 19:22Speaker 4: There's a huge development project underway for the Pelican Park
- 19:25Speaker 4: Road area in ninety five.
- 19:27Speaker 3: It'll have new.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Homes, medical facilities, shopping center, and at brand new Publix
- 19:32Speaker 4: for you guys to go to after you hit the
- 19:34Speaker 4: new Kaba Chom.
- 19:34Speaker 1: We'll go there after the shops, we go to Kaba
- 19:36Speaker 1: darn right.
- 19:37Speaker 4: And we've got some updates on the Jags Stadium of
- 19:40Speaker 4: the Future. Construction is going really well. They're right on track.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Fifteen percent is done before we know it. We'll have
- 19:46Speaker 4: a brand new stadiums for things you need to know, all.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Right, you gonna play the pop quiz.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Go to Universal Studios or Lando for their Muddy Graw
- 19:53Speaker 2: festivity still going on. They do it. They go way
- 19:55Speaker 2: past Marty Gras new orbs. Oh yeah, and they do
- 19:58Speaker 2: it right. And you also don't have to worry about
- 20:00Speaker 2: some like drunk eye like falling on you at Universal Orlando.
- 20:04Speaker 1: You don't have to show anything for it. No, you know,
- 20:06Speaker 1: you don't. They just get Megan and you were just there.
- 20:08Speaker 1: You're family fun.
- 20:09Speaker 4: You do have to watch out for some of the
- 20:10Speaker 4: mascots they've got around and you know, the kids love them,
- 20:13Speaker 4: but they're not very commodating.
- 20:15Speaker 3: To, you know, the people that don't like them. So
- 20:18Speaker 3: just be on the lookout for that look over your shoulder.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Caller's nine and ten.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Right now, you're going to play the Pop Quiz nine
- 20:22Speaker 2: oh four three eight eight thirty six ninety nine.
- 20:25Speaker 1: While you call it the Big Show with Frankie, John
- 20:27Speaker 1: and Meghan, the pop Quiz is just a couple of
- 20:29Speaker 1: minutes away. Someone's about to win their way down to
- 20:31Speaker 1: Universal Orlando with parking. Yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Before we get into that, though, I have gotten Megan
- 20:35Speaker 2: completely stumped. Part of your Music City Minute last Hour,
- 20:39Speaker 2: you said there's a collaboration coming out with Carli Peers,
- 20:43Speaker 2: Carlie Pearce and an unknown person.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Yeah, and all she said was that it's one of
- 20:49Speaker 4: the biggest artists in country music in someone who was
- 20:52Speaker 4: one of her childhood heroes.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Childhood hero part I'm not sure about. I mean, I
- 20:57Speaker 2: don't they're very they're very close in age.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I do know that.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Oh, so this isn't Me and John were thinking, you said,
- 21:05Speaker 4: Ronnie Millsap.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Well, that's when I was going to extreme. Then I
- 21:09Speaker 1: was like Okay, all the names I named, you pull
- 21:11Speaker 1: that one out of that hat. I had gotten to
- 21:15Speaker 1: the point of parody. But that's the one you're sticking with.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, because then that sets the tone and I'm like.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Okay, we go okay, and that's Barbara Mandrell. I said,
- 21:24Speaker 1: I think Jr. Okay, it was a guy. Okay, it
- 21:26Speaker 1: is a guy.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, So a guy around the age of Carl Pearce.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Yeah close. But how can you be a and this
- 21:33Speaker 1: you're saying that the childhood here apart? He thinks BS, Well,
- 21:36Speaker 1: they're two years apart. So unless she unless this guy
- 21:39Speaker 1: was a hit of eighty years older than her. He's older,
- 21:41Speaker 1: he's older, but he's two older. Yeah, so I mean
- 21:44Speaker 1: maybe when she was sixteen, he was eighteen. And that's
- 21:47Speaker 1: we've run through the big list of every superstar right
- 21:49Speaker 1: now that we think the Luke's and the So give
- 21:52Speaker 1: me nes with and when I get to the purchase,
- 21:55Speaker 1: because I was in Nashville, was it last week?
- 21:57Speaker 2: It was last week? It was last week. I was
- 21:59Speaker 2: in Nashville, and I did see this collaboration they performed
- 22:02Speaker 2: for us. I know who it is. So when you
- 22:04Speaker 2: name the person I'll just stop saying no, I don't
- 22:06Speaker 2: want to say who it is. But when you when
- 22:07Speaker 2: you name and say it rhymes with I don't.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Want to Okay, Okay, rhymes with rust and wrench.
- 22:12Speaker 1: No, it's not No, not Dustin Less. Rhyme with ror purge.
- 22:16Speaker 1: It's not George Burg.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Okay, what about Roker.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Parker McCollum. It is not Parker McCollum. I'm glad you
- 22:24Speaker 1: could rhyme that one because I'm stumped on that.
- 22:28Speaker 2: On next, it doesn't rhyme with uh, let's see brook
- 22:32Speaker 2: lyon it doesn't run but shoosie.
- 22:34Speaker 4: But you know it's not schaboozy Smiley Sman.
- 22:40Speaker 1: You got any guesses? John?
- 22:44Speaker 3: Who it is?
- 22:45Speaker 4: Smiley?
- 22:47Speaker 3: Smiley? Hereen Griley Reeny.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Possibly? Yeah, okay, possible, child, good old woman, she's making
- 23:01Speaker 1: up stuff. It's very possible. I didn't say that to
- 23:04Speaker 1: what it is.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Most possible she in a relationship currently, I don't know.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Usually Carly is kind of open about relationships, so she'll
- 23:11Speaker 2: like she's very She's one of those when she's in
- 23:14Speaker 2: a relationship she wants everybody to know.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Usually, so I don't know.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Boys, it'll be different, all right, Oh, you think Riley's
- 23:20Speaker 2: got to be think Brodley's got a new victim.
- 23:22Speaker 4: I think that she needs to just stay away recording
- 23:25Speaker 4: separate studios, and there needs to be a third person
- 23:28Speaker 4: to make sure there is space between the two of those.
- 23:31Speaker 1: So you think Riley Green's trouble with women? You think
- 23:33Speaker 1: he's trouble for women?
- 23:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay, I think so.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I just tind to lay it out there. You're not
- 23:39Speaker 1: gonna hold Riley Green. He's not He's not down. He's
- 23:42Speaker 1: the guy that's gonna he's gonna be Riley Green.
- 23:46Speaker 4: You know what, making Ronie said, the devil went down
- 23:48Speaker 4: to Georgia and he crossed the Bama line.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Carley sister, take notes, Carly, you're not a mechanic. You're
- 23:56Speaker 1: not the one to fixing.
- 23:57Speaker 3: No, you're not.
- 23:57Speaker 4: But there is some other country music news we could
- 24:00Speaker 4: you know, share without rhyming, without rhyming. Okay, there's an
- 24:05Speaker 4: artist named Belle. She put out a sequel to Dolly
- 24:08Speaker 4: Parton's song Joline, and it's called Joline's Son. Well, it's
- 24:11Speaker 4: really cool because Dolly actually heard it and said that
- 24:14Speaker 4: she loves it.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Wow.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that'd be really special.
- 24:16Speaker 1: The Blessing of Dolly. That's great.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 3: And Luke Combs is getting into shape.
- 24:21Speaker 4: He's losing some weight, getting healthy and people asked him,
- 24:24Speaker 4: are you on the GLP ones?
- 24:25Speaker 3: We see a million.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Commercials on Cluck Loombs, Cluck Clombs, Luke Blomes.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Riley Green, my goodness. Luke Combs said, no GLP ones.
- 24:38Speaker 4: He's trying to do things in the traditional way. Oh
- 24:40Speaker 4: for him, Yeah, that is cool. It's really cool that
- 24:42Speaker 4: someone's saying no to him because I feel like constantly
- 24:45Speaker 4: we're hearing about him non stop every morning.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I need to I would like to lose ten pounds
- 24:51Speaker 2: and I've thought about it. I haven't done it, but
- 24:54Speaker 2: I've thought about it.
- 24:55Speaker 4: You just need to get on my social media because
- 24:56Speaker 4: it's saying ten to fifteen pounds and they're targeting people
- 24:59Speaker 4: that are barely one hundred pounds.
- 25:02Speaker 3: It's wild.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I just think I need to eat a little bit
- 25:04Speaker 1: less sweet than walk.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Well, you're gonna have to push that off because I'm
- 25:07Speaker 4: bringing you, guys some of that sticky party red tomorrow.
- 25:11Speaker 1: The party. Yeah, I'll start my night on Saturday. Saturday.
- 25:13Speaker 3: That's Megan's music City minute.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Are we gonna play the pop quiz in just a
- 25:17Speaker 1: few minutes. Somebody winning. We start with you. It's not
- 25:21Speaker 1: just you getting bombarded with messages from potential scammers. A
- 25:25Speaker 1: new survey finds what percentage of people get a call, text,
- 25:29Speaker 1: or email from one every day.
- 25:33Speaker 4: I would say seventy one percent.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Kirsten, is that number higher or lower?
- 25:38Speaker 3: Higher?
- 25:39Speaker 1: No, it's actually lowers. It's only forty six.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Wow.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I guess other people have the block on. I guess, yeah,
- 25:46Speaker 1: that block works, man, I try that thing. I still
- 25:48Speaker 1: get texts. You do you get emails from I feel
- 25:51Speaker 1: like you're just the same people.
- 25:52Speaker 2: You're acknowledging that it's now a real number they keep doing.
- 25:54Speaker 2: I think that's all that does.
- 25:55Speaker 1: That's part of it too. I agree anyway, Yeah, that
- 25:58Speaker 1: number was weird to me, But Natalie, it's that point.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Good job. Here we go, Kirsten, this one is yours.
- 26:04Speaker 1: We first. I first saw him in Sling Blade. It's
- 26:06Speaker 1: one of the craziest, greatest movies ever. He's done a
- 26:09Speaker 1: lot of other things by are you rally actor Billy
- 26:15Speaker 1: Bob Thornton. How old is Billy Bob Thornton? Kirsten sixty six?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Natalie is the older and younger.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I think he's older.
- 26:25Speaker 1: He is, he's seventy. You believe that.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Wow.
- 26:29Speaker 1: A lot of hair dye, A lot of hair dye,
- 26:31Speaker 1: a lot of hair dies. He's got hare to die.
- 26:32Speaker 1: But Natalie is going to be her Winnard to Natalie
- 26:36Speaker 1: pre you go gradulation. Thank you, Kirsten, Thanks so much
- 26:42Speaker 1: for playing. We appreciate you.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Thank you guys.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Take care Natalie. Congratulations. It's fair. Tickets to the University
- 26:47Speaker 1: of Orlando with parking. A thank you inspiration from Cody
- 26:52Speaker 1: Johnson with the Big Show. It's Froggie, John and Megan.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Good morning on this in Jacksonville. Friday Eve.
- 26:57Speaker 3: I like to call it Friday Eve just because it
- 26:58Speaker 3: just feels a little closer to the weekend. You're so
- 27:00Speaker 3: close it is.
- 27:01Speaker 2: It's going to be gorgeous today, seventy six Sonny, lots
- 27:04Speaker 2: of sunshine.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I'm not as cold pucks ATONI. John is right.
- 27:07Speaker 2: If you're listening this time yesterday morning, you had Louis
- 27:09Speaker 2: Turner from Nails Coast News said that John is right,
- 27:12Speaker 2: and we will not see the thirties anymore until at
- 27:14Speaker 2: least probably November. That's what I'm saying. That's that's early
- 27:18Speaker 2: for a freeze, stone cold lock. Probably gonna be December,
- 27:20Speaker 2: it might dip into the thirties. I'm just saying I
- 27:22Speaker 2: might go with thirty nine.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 27:24Speaker 3: We're so lucky we have our own Jacksonville groundhog. That's fear. Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I didn't even know I was one until I became one,
- 27:30Speaker 1: But now you do. So you gotta you gotta reinvent yourself.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I've been here thirty six years and now all of
- 27:35Speaker 1: a sudden, I'm a weather expert.
- 27:37Speaker 3: You're a poet.
- 27:38Speaker 1: You didn't even know it. You don't know until you
- 27:40Speaker 1: try it.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Now.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Look, Megan is named me Pucksatani. John, No, it's the reinvention.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I got another forty years in this business. Your name's
- 27:48Speaker 1: not Paul Pusatani.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Paul. Yeah. Can we change your name? Are you willing to?
- 27:53Speaker 1: It's that much reinvention you can go well, John Ponavidra
- 27:56Speaker 1: I like punks Atony John. I like the fact that
- 27:58Speaker 1: we didn't try too hard. Yeah, and we just attached
- 28:01Speaker 1: punks of towny onto my name. But you're my favorite groundhogh.
- 28:05Speaker 1: You're my favorite.
- 28:05Speaker 4: And I've seen a lot of groundhogs on the internet lately.
- 28:08Speaker 4: John's my favorite. Looking she does it's so cute. John
- 28:12Speaker 4: loves groundhogs.
- 28:13Speaker 2: If you're not right, Let's say we do have some
- 28:15Speaker 2: crazy morning and it dips into the thirdes. Would you cry, No,
- 28:19Speaker 2: I would. I'd blame it on somebody. I've watched enough politics.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I'll blame it on something.
- 28:24Speaker 4: That's why we need to listen to Anita Ward ring
- 28:26Speaker 4: my bell every morning, because then John will always be right.
- 28:29Speaker 2: No, we do not need to listen to that every morning. No,
- 28:32Speaker 2: nothing is goldays happened since we listened to that earlier.
- 28:34Speaker 2: So if you just if you minted earlier. Megan yesterday
- 28:37Speaker 2: claim she saw on TikTok, which is number one. When
- 28:40Speaker 2: somebody says to me, I saw it on TikTok, it
- 28:44Speaker 2: that is the that is the equivalent of like punching
- 28:47Speaker 2: me in the nose when you want to be my friend.
- 28:49Speaker 1: That's like me going no, no, I'm out. It really
- 28:51Speaker 1: drops the level of intensity of validity when you first
- 28:56Speaker 1: start with I saw this on TikTok to you guys.
- 28:59Speaker 3: But for the to some things, this is like, oh, yes,
- 29:01Speaker 3: said it to me.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Well, you know what, you know our pop quiz winner, Natalie,
- 29:07Speaker 1: she's probably in your age group. And then and she
- 29:10Speaker 1: believed in lucky songs.
- 29:11Speaker 3: She did.
- 29:12Speaker 1: She won the pop quiz today.
- 29:15Speaker 3: That is a good point. She did win. She won
- 29:18Speaker 3: tickets to Universal.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty dang lucky.
- 29:21Speaker 4: I'm just saying we're putting some good vibes into the
- 29:23Speaker 4: city today.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Reminds me of this, reminds me when you go to
- 29:32Speaker 2: like you see there's psychics on TV. No, dog, I'm
- 29:35Speaker 2: seeing family. Do you have a family, Yes, I'm seeing
- 29:41Speaker 2: a mom and dad. Did you have a mom and dad?
- 29:43Speaker 1: Yes? Of course.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Let me let me see your hand real quick, a
- 29:48Speaker 3: little closer.
- 29:49Speaker 1: She's gonna smack it.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Interest you're reading?
- 29:54Speaker 1: Are you reading his poem right now? Falling Need Awards?
- 29:57Speaker 1: This is like the worst you seeing my life. You're oh, wow, yeah,
- 30:02Speaker 1: what it said? You're going to be married one time?
- 30:03Speaker 3: Only exactly?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Look at that? Look at it? How'd you know that?
- 30:06Speaker 3: Because on your wrist these lines?
- 30:08Speaker 1: See oh, and on the ring that you've had on
- 30:10Speaker 1: your finger for thirty years, you have.
- 30:12Speaker 3: One line on your wrist.
- 30:13Speaker 1: It's not a giveaway.
- 30:15Speaker 4: How am I supposed to know? If you've been married
- 30:17Speaker 4: twelve you will only be married once.
- 30:19Speaker 1: You've known that about it?
- 30:22Speaker 3: Yeah, that's it.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I got to that's it.
- 30:24Speaker 3: That's it for you.
- 30:24Speaker 1: She's going to hang around.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Well if she doesn't, you won't get married again. When
- 30:30Speaker 4: he gave me his hand, I had to like grab
- 30:32Speaker 4: it over.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I don't know what you were doing. You do? Do
- 30:34Speaker 1: you agree.
- 30:37Speaker 3: I'm a little aggressive. I had to.
- 30:39Speaker 1: She was gonna whip it with like a branch or
- 30:40Speaker 1: something too.
- 30:41Speaker 2: I didn't too. But so I don't know if this
- 30:43Speaker 2: is a lucky song or not. But we'll see. I
- 30:45Speaker 2: will see a good thing. It's an annoying song, so annoying.
- 30:48Speaker 3: You look at my wrists? Now?
- 30:50Speaker 1: How many times are you going to be married? Yeah?
- 30:51Speaker 3: Apparently I want to talk about it.
- 30:57Speaker 1: You've never looked at your own wrist and bring it both? Other? Polem?
- 31:00Speaker 1: How many times is a Ali's not the ones?
- 31:03Speaker 3: Sounds like I'm getting married at all?
- 31:04Speaker 2: Oh?
- 31:04Speaker 1: How about mine? Yeah?
- 31:06Speaker 3: I can't hear move your wrists so I can see
- 31:08Speaker 3: a little.
- 31:08Speaker 4: I have to see this part, okay once?
- 31:14Speaker 3: But your line what?
- 31:15Speaker 4: Your line is not complete from here? I don't see
- 31:18Speaker 4: it totally.
- 31:19Speaker 1: As I gained weight and now let's get it.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Jacksonville, Thursday. What else is going on than the fact
- 31:28Speaker 2: that I'm married? Once?
- 31:29Speaker 1: Because I've been married for twenty seven years.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't pay for those psydekics. You have them
- 31:33Speaker 3: at home. You have met work.
- 31:35Speaker 4: The jag Stadium of the Future is on track. Constructions
- 31:39Speaker 4: continuing on. It's fifteen percent done, so we're doing good
- 31:42Speaker 4: making good progress.
- 31:43Speaker 3: There's a really big new development.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Project happening around Publican Park Road in ninety five. Homes,
- 31:49Speaker 4: medical facilities, shopping centers.
- 31:51Speaker 3: And a brand new publics will be up. And speaking
- 31:54Speaker 3: of new.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Businesses, a new Kava is coming to Bay Meadows. It'll
- 31:57Speaker 4: be where the old Burger bark Role was just east
- 32:00Speaker 4: of ninety five. That's three things you need to know.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Stopping long enough to give you an opportunity to win
- 32:05Speaker 1: a fifty dollars gift card to Habit Burger and Grill.
- 32:08Speaker 1: And I got a lot of trips to Habit Burger
- 32:10Speaker 1: coming up. You do, Okay, here's the only stipulation you
- 32:12Speaker 1: gotta go with. Froggy Yeah, he kind of made that
- 32:15Speaker 1: part up. Buy me those green bean fries.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Your calendar is getting filled with these dinner takes.
- 32:19Speaker 1: It won't be long they Froggy Py George Berger. I'll
- 32:24Speaker 1: let you in on this. That the three of us
- 32:26Speaker 1: could go, I think, but they want me to have
- 32:29Speaker 1: everybody submit that why they can have a party with
- 32:32Speaker 1: Habit Burger. Yeah, and we could bring lunch to your group.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Oh really yes, so can we all go? As we
- 32:37Speaker 1: all go, you can just swing by and get those
- 32:39Speaker 1: temper of green beans while we deliver. Oh god, so good.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Oh that is so cool.
- 32:44Speaker 1: That's coming up very soon, like next week. I'll start
- 32:46Speaker 1: telling you how you have a chance to win nice
- 32:49Speaker 1: a lunch for your group.
- 32:50Speaker 2: But you can win your own little fifty dollars gift
- 32:52Speaker 2: card right now, and I'd be happy to join you
- 32:54Speaker 2: and take some green bean fries off your plate so
- 32:56Speaker 2: you don't mind.
- 32:58Speaker 1: The host.
- 32:59Speaker 3: He's such a movie.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I'll buy my own.
- 33:03Speaker 2: But I'm one of those people I definitely gonna I'm
- 33:06Speaker 2: one of those you can eat all those because if
- 33:08Speaker 2: you're not, I don't want them to go back.
- 33:10Speaker 3: What are your your fries?
- 33:12Speaker 1: To go?
- 33:13Speaker 4: This?
- 33:14Speaker 2: Atleast sometimes go Do you want one? I'm like, take
- 33:17Speaker 2: whatever you want and give me the rest. Guys like
- 33:19Speaker 2: I don't know how many I want. I'm like, no, no,
- 33:21Speaker 2: but I just want the rest. So that's maybe I
- 33:24Speaker 2: won't do that too. If we go to the habit
- 33:26Speaker 2: So if you want a fifty dollars card, you can
- 33:28Speaker 2: buy all the food you want and have me not
- 33:30Speaker 2: eat it.
- 33:31Speaker 1: You have to know the lyrics to this song.
- 33:33Speaker 4: It's funny how it's the little things in life that
- 33:36Speaker 4: mean the most.
- 33:38Speaker 1: That's why that that's why this song is my If
- 33:40Speaker 1: I had to pick a song to be my theme song,
- 33:42Speaker 1: this is it. It's that line too.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Oh really, it's funny.
- 33:45Speaker 1: How I love it.
- 33:46Speaker 3: I must see that I need award song.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I got it. I know what it is. You got it? Yes,
- 33:55Speaker 1: dad needs the most. Not where are you from that song? Right? Yeah?
- 33:58Speaker 3: No, that's not it.
- 33:59Speaker 1: That's not the one. He wants to have it fifty
- 34:01Speaker 1: dollars to himself. I can't break this system.
- 34:04Speaker 3: You're going to Habit Burger.
- 34:05Speaker 1: You don't even have to call nine though. Four three
- 34:07Speaker 1: thirty six called for nine. I just won. Who gets
- 34:10Speaker 1: the Shaboozie and Country ninety nine one wqy K. Good morning,
- 34:14Speaker 1: Thank you so much for making us a part of
- 34:15Speaker 1: your Thursday. We're the Big Show with Froggy, John and
- 34:18Speaker 1: Megan always loved these questions like this, where it asks
- 34:20Speaker 1: you like would you rather this or that? But then
- 34:23Speaker 1: this is going to happen. Yeah, and you really have
- 34:24Speaker 1: to think about it.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 34:26Speaker 2: So I asked John this earlier, Magan, I'll ask you
- 34:28Speaker 2: now that John didn't really give me an answer earlier.
- 34:30Speaker 1: He was just thinking about it. I forgot.
- 34:32Speaker 2: You can get ten million dollars right now. Okay, I'll
- 34:36Speaker 2: give you ten million dollars, but your lifespan is going
- 34:41Speaker 2: to decrease by ten years. Would take Would you take
- 34:44Speaker 2: the offer?
- 34:45Speaker 1: Well?
- 34:45Speaker 3: How long am I living.
- 34:47Speaker 1: That you don't know that that's the variable. That's the variable.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I take it. I would take Italien.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Years off the money.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I would.
- 34:55Speaker 1: No. I think ages plays a big part in this.
- 34:58Speaker 1: The younger you are the mo or you're willing to
- 35:00Speaker 1: give up ten years the older you are, ten years
- 35:03Speaker 1: means a lot. And if I go, that's ten less
- 35:06Speaker 1: years now that I'm going to be able to spend
- 35:08Speaker 1: with my kids and grandkids.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Think if you don't go another ten years, you get
- 35:11Speaker 2: that ten million drop dead right then, so you never
- 35:13Speaker 2: even get to spend it.
- 35:14Speaker 4: I would probably have to say no, I take out
- 35:17Speaker 4: a bigger insurance policy.
- 35:18Speaker 3: My dog will be left with a lavish life.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Well, you're how old your dog five. Yeah, you're probably
- 35:24Speaker 2: gonna outlive the dog, even if you take ten years off.
- 35:26Speaker 2: She's we're tied together. You know she's going to live
- 35:29Speaker 2: as long as I will. So that's what I.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Think you have, no delusional thoughts.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I noticed you avoid tears.
- 35:35Speaker 1: That's why I think Megan just keeps clicking r E.
- 35:37Speaker 3: I can't think about that.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Ten million, Yeah, ten years okay.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Sixty three percent of people said yes, Wow. Sixty three
- 35:43Speaker 2: percent of the people are young, and thirty seven percent
- 35:46Speaker 2: said no.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Yeah. I think it's an age thing.
- 35:48Speaker 3: Get tired of you when you're like I would like.
- 35:50Speaker 1: To hear from somebody who's fifty five or sixty and say, yes,
- 35:53Speaker 1: I would do that.
- 35:54Speaker 3: I think my dad would say yes, Okay, I think
- 35:56Speaker 3: he really would.
- 35:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Every single day you work, you go home, you wake up,
- 36:02Speaker 4: you work, you go home, and it just kind of
- 36:04Speaker 4: feels like you maybe you've.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Got ten more good years and there'll be great years.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Yeah exactly.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I can't see somebody thinking that. So what if I
- 36:11Speaker 1: I'm thinking more human? What if I decrease it to five?
- 36:14Speaker 2: Would you take five million dollars and lose five years?
- 36:18Speaker 3: Five million?
- 36:19Speaker 1: John? No, that's five fewer years with my kids and
- 36:21Speaker 1: drink kids in my million. Yeah no, no, but see,
- 36:25Speaker 1: God might do that. I wouldn't do ten for ten,
- 36:27Speaker 1: but I might do five for five. Yeah, and listen,
- 36:30Speaker 1: I really don't know how much longer I got left.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I really have no idea with every all the stupid
- 36:34Speaker 1: stuff I got going on for really, I have no idea,
- 36:36Speaker 1: but five for five, because the way I would justify
- 36:39Speaker 1: this is really this is really strange. I would justify
- 36:42Speaker 1: it in the five million.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Would also have my family taken care of after I
- 36:45Speaker 2: was gone, so my wife would be able to live
- 36:47Speaker 2: just fine.
- 36:47Speaker 1: That's true. I'd rather have.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Five million dollars around five extra years, to be honest
- 36:53Speaker 2: with you. I mean, you guys have met Lisa.
- 36:56Speaker 1: She just called twenty for twenty years herd. She just called.
- 37:07Speaker 2: It the Megan Three things we need to know to
- 37:10Speaker 2: get through your Jacksonville Friday Eve or Thursday, however you want.
- 37:13Speaker 1: To call it.
- 37:14Speaker 4: If you're gonna be around Saint Augustine to go to
- 37:16Speaker 4: that new cow cafe that they've.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Got down there, this is going Today's the fluffy cows.
- 37:20Speaker 3: It looks so cool. They're these big Highland cows.
- 37:22Speaker 4: You'll see something different on Anderson's Circle than you're used
- 37:25Speaker 4: to seeing. A brand new statue just was put up
- 37:28Speaker 4: by our Governor of Frederick Douglas. The Jags Stadium of
- 37:32Speaker 4: the Future is on track fifteen percent done. It's going good.
- 37:36Speaker 4: The construction plans are happening as they're supposed to. And
- 37:39Speaker 4: there's a new Kava coming to Bay Meadows. It'll be
- 37:41Speaker 4: where the old burger bar Garrille was, just east of
- 37:43Speaker 4: ninety five.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Best three things you need to know, get one more
- 37:46Speaker 3: quick checking.
- 37:46Speaker 1: We'll be back tomorrow morning. But before we leave, we
- 37:49Speaker 1: do have to find out what did we learn as
- 37:50Speaker 1: a Big Show Megan.
- 37:52Speaker 4: We learned that Froggy's got a bunch of doodle dogs
- 37:55Speaker 4: on his Instagram search feed and they're dancing.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Yeah, they like the dance.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I be Ai, you need to get the new dog,
- 38:01Speaker 2: I really do.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Really, what did you learn from? I tell you what
- 38:04Speaker 1: I learned. I learned that Megan would take.
- 38:07Speaker 3: The Big Show extra sponsored by Parah and Sarah.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Here for you, Here for Good
