Shooting at Hampton Beach Ends in Suicide | Concord News
At 1 AM on a Sunday, a shooting erupted at Hampton Beach, leaving a 23-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman wounded but stable. The suspect, 21-year-old Tyshawn Cooper from South Carolina, was found near P Street and Ashworth Avenue. As police approached, he pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head. An officer fired in response, but the Medical Examiner confirmed Cooper’s death was a suicide.
