- 0:02Speaker 1: Apostle Fermi Lazarus is a man raised by God to
- 0:06Speaker 1: demonstrate his wisdom and authority to the last day church.
- 0:10Speaker 1: He is the lead pastor of Sphere of Light Church
- 0:13Speaker 1: and God told him years ago that a time will
- 0:16Speaker 1: come where my wisdom will be needed to navigate tough
- 0:19Speaker 1: times in the body of Christ.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Then I will cause your voice to be heard and
- 0:26Speaker 2: all who pay attention to my word on your lips
- 0:29Speaker 2: will not lack light and direction. He is a man
- 0:33Speaker 2: sent from God, sent to raise God's end time armies.
- 0:38Speaker 2: With Apostle Fermi Lazarus, every minute counts as you listen attentively.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Alright, tonight we want to bring a different perspective to
- 0:52Speaker 3: this subject.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Okay? Is that okay now? A very different perspective.
- 1:01Speaker 3: And in this season, I'm going to have to be
- 1:06Speaker 3: mixing many things.
- 1:08Speaker 4: We are on a journey. Okay? Turn your Bibles, please,
- 1:12Speaker 4: with me.
- 1:14Speaker 3: The book of 2 Kings, chapter number 6 from verse 24.
- 1:22Speaker 3: 2 Kings 6 from verse 24. So, we want to
- 1:26Speaker 3: look at a root.
- 1:27Speaker 4: There's a root. There's a root. Alright? That we need to.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Study when it comes to this subject of black tax.
- 1:38Speaker 3: It is still one of the elements of dysfunctional families
- 1:41Speaker 3: of background.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Is that okay?
- 1:43Speaker 3: But there's a root that is often not really considered.
- 1:48Speaker 3: And I want us to look at that root. So
- 1:50Speaker 3: there's a very interesting story. And I want us to
- 1:53Speaker 3: learn from that story. 2 Kings 6 24 And it
- 1:59Speaker 3: came to pass after this that Ben-Adad, the king of Syria,
- 2:03Speaker 3: gathered all his host and went up and besieged Samaria.
- 2:08Speaker 3: And there was a great famine in Samaria. And behold,
- 2:12Speaker 3: they besieged it until an ass head was sold for
- 2:16Speaker 3: four score piece of silver. That's 80 silver. A score
- 2:20Speaker 3: is 20.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Okay?
- 2:23Speaker 3: And the fourth part of a cab of doves' dung
- 2:28Speaker 3: for five pieces of silver. And as the king of
- 2:32Speaker 3: Israel was passing by on the wall, there cried a
- 2:36Speaker 3: woman to him saying, Help my Lord, O king. And
- 2:42Speaker 3: he said, If the Lord do not help you, from
- 2:46Speaker 3: where shall I help you? Out of the barn floor
- 2:50Speaker 3: or out of the winepress? And the king said to her,
- 2:54Speaker 3: What ails you? And she answered, This woman said to me,
- 2:58Speaker 3: Give me your son that we may eat him today.
- 3:01Speaker 3: And we may eat and we will eat my son tomorrow.
- 3:06Speaker 3: So we boiled my son and.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Did eat him.
- 3:11Speaker 3: And I said to her on the next day, give
- 3:14Speaker 3: me your son that we may eat him. And she
- 3:19Speaker 3: has eat her son. And it came to pass when
- 3:22Speaker 3: the king heard the words of the woman that he
- 3:24Speaker 3: rent his clothes.
- 3:26Speaker 4: And he passed by on the wall, and the people looked,
- 3:30Speaker 4: and behold, he had sackcloth within on his flesh. Okay?
- 3:35Speaker 4: So the Bible gave us a question.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Can a mother forsake a suckling child? The general answer
- 3:41Speaker 3: seemed to be God forbid. But not when people enter
- 3:44Speaker 3: survival mode. So we want to study the survival mode
- 3:48Speaker 3: of the African families.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Okay? Okay?
- 3:55Speaker 3: There's a condition that if care is not taken and
- 4:00Speaker 3: if not well understood people just value their own survival
- 4:05Speaker 3: so there was famine and we would never have imagined
- 4:09Speaker 3: that mothers would begin to sell their children and they
- 4:13Speaker 3: started they didn't just sell their children they were eating
- 4:17Speaker 3: their children that a mother will cook, boil and shear
- 4:25Speaker 3: And cut to pieces. Her own sucking child. And she
- 4:29Speaker 3: will watch herself and her friend. Eat that child. And
- 4:33Speaker 3: they are looking at the other child. And they know
- 4:34Speaker 3: within their hearts. That we are going to eat yours tomorrow.
- 4:39Speaker 4: It happened. Okay.
- 4:45Speaker 3: When families enter survival mode. They feast on each other.
- 4:54Speaker 3: they feast on each other.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Okay? It happens. So what does it mean to feast
- 5:09Speaker 4: on your child? To make that child a delicacy.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Even when you know that the outcome of this is
- 5:19Speaker 3: that this child will cease to exist.
- 5:23Speaker 4: The mother of a yahoo boy who is defrauding people.
- 5:27Speaker 3: To make money is feasting on the child it doesn't
- 5:31Speaker 3: matter how long she goes on and needs to pray
- 5:33Speaker 3: for him that's survival mode the father of a thief
- 5:37Speaker 3: who knows that the boy is stealing but can't stop
- 5:39Speaker 3: him because after all he's using the money he's stealing
- 5:43Speaker 3: to meet family needs they are feasting on that child.
- 5:47Speaker 4: The pastor of a corrupt politician.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Who is stealing and killing people But can't bring him
- 5:53Speaker 3: correction because he's giving seed and tithes to the church.
- 5:56Speaker 4: He's feasting on that guy. Okay?
- 6:00Speaker 3: And if we are going to deal with the root
- 6:01Speaker 3: of this, we must also address where the church is complicit.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Judgment will begin from the church. Have you seen people.
- 6:13Speaker 3: That they know that what my child is doing will
- 6:16Speaker 3: kill him?
- 6:20Speaker 4: But we are all enjoying the money.
- 6:23Speaker 3: The younger sister the younger brother of a corrupt politician
- 6:27Speaker 3: that is killing people and stealing money and they are
- 6:31Speaker 3: enjoying it together they are feasting on the guy so
- 6:35Speaker 3: it is very easy to look at these things and
- 6:38Speaker 3: judge the people and say until you discover the areas
- 6:44Speaker 3: that we all are complicit to corruption because of survival
- 6:50Speaker 3: where we all have to find a way to accommodate
- 6:53Speaker 3: lies and corruption because of survival. When we get these
- 6:57Speaker 3: things right, okay, people who are corrupt will not find
- 7:03Speaker 3: space in the church. They will know that they have
- 7:07Speaker 3: to wash their hands because we will not need their
- 7:09Speaker 3: blood money. The blood money from corrupt people is an
- 7:17Speaker 3: oath of silence. And it must be addressed. If it
- 7:24Speaker 3: is not addressed. Silence will look like wisdom. When the
- 7:27Speaker 3: nation is destroyed. Getting destroyed. Are you following what I'm saying?
- 7:34Speaker 3: So as mothers began to feast on their children. I've
- 7:38Speaker 3: seen these things happen. In fact there are places. That
- 7:42Speaker 3: mothers go to pray for their sons. That are busy
- 7:44Speaker 3: doing internet front.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I've seen in fact. There was a case that happened.
- 7:49Speaker 4: The mother took her son to an abbey list to
- 7:52Speaker 4: go and use the girlfriend.
- 7:55Speaker 3: The mother doesn't like that boy. She's only after her
- 7:58Speaker 3: own survivor. That's not love. I've shown you what love
- 8:03Speaker 3: is and what love is not. Do you understand what
- 8:06Speaker 3: I'm saying? Anybody who knows what you are doing will
- 8:09Speaker 3: kill you but can't tell you because they are enjoying
- 8:11Speaker 3: the proceeds. That's not love.
- 8:13Speaker 4: That's bad.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? We must have a
- 8:18Speaker 3: new generation that is questioning things. And we are not
- 8:24Speaker 3: a part of these lies. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 8:31Speaker 3: This affects us as church. It affects us.
- 8:36Speaker 4: But if you are seated in church and we know
- 8:39Speaker 4: that you are lying, you are defrauding people, you are
- 8:43Speaker 4: stealing commonwealth of the nation. Okay? Okay?
- 8:47Speaker 3: When election comes, you campaign in church, we clap for you,
- 8:51Speaker 3: but you still kill the members when they are in
- 8:53Speaker 3: their own houses, just so you can win.
- 8:55Speaker 4: These are things to question. Is that okay now? These
- 9:00Speaker 4: are things to question. Okay? These are issues.
- 9:06Speaker 3: So, the mothers began to hate their children. I said,
- 9:11Speaker 3: when families enter survival mode, they feast on themselves. It
- 9:21Speaker 3: is very easy to point an accusing finger until you
- 9:24Speaker 3: have discovered that you too somehow may be enjoying proceeds
- 9:28Speaker 3: of unjust gain from an elder brother somewhere that is lying,
- 9:34Speaker 3: stealing from the company, or a younger sister.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Do you understand what I'm saying here? We are either
- 9:41Speaker 4: principled or we are not.
- 9:46Speaker 3: If people bring money, that we know that the salary
- 9:51Speaker 3: accorded to this office should not be able to afford
- 9:54Speaker 3: this kind of seed. We can't pretend not to know
- 9:58Speaker 3: that you stole it. Do you understand what I'm.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Saying?
- 10:05Speaker 3: That's why I said it's going to be dangerous this
- 10:07Speaker 3: evening Do you understand what I'm saying? We know how
- 10:10Speaker 3: much politicians are earning So if you bring money That
- 10:14Speaker 3: is more than your annual salary There's nowhere else you've
- 10:19Speaker 3: gotten it than stealing. So to say, I don't know,
- 10:25Speaker 3: after all, bring it, God bless you, is to feast
- 10:28Speaker 3: on him.
- 10:29Speaker 4: It is the same case.
- 10:31Speaker 3: So there is the church in Nigeria that has entered
- 10:33Speaker 3: survival mode. There is the family that has entered survival mode.
- 10:37Speaker 3: To heap all the blames on family and detach the church.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Is to lie. And we must understand that. Many of
- 10:58Speaker 4: these people have found out that we are Bible. They
- 11:02Speaker 4: found out that we have a price. For sub 2 campaign.
- 11:07Speaker 4: We have a price. We have a price.
- 11:19Speaker 3: And it's time to throw away the tables of the
- 11:21Speaker 3: money changers in church. Do you understand what I'm saying? Alright,
- 11:28Speaker 3: so there is a form of this subject that we
- 11:34Speaker 3: have not touched. And you see, once you begin to
- 11:37Speaker 3: deal with subjects like this, people get emotional. You start
- 11:41Speaker 3: confronting emotions.
- 11:42Speaker 4: This thing is teaching.
- 11:44Speaker 3: You know, families are different. Listen to what I'm saying.
- 11:49Speaker 3: We are addressing core issues. Do you understand what I'm
- 11:53Speaker 3: saying here? We are addressing what?
- 11:56Speaker 4: Core issues. Alright?
- 11:59Speaker 3: That there is a way things are to be done.
- 12:03Speaker 3: And if we are not getting it done that.
- 12:05Speaker 4: Way, it is dysfunction. Okay?
- 12:09Speaker 3: The plan of God for the family is the father,
- 12:13Speaker 3: the mother, the children.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Okay? Okay? And according to God's original design, the man
- 12:20Speaker 4: is the provider.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Provision doesn't end until the children are solid. If we
- 12:26Speaker 3: don't break that pattern, where pressure is on some to
- 12:32Speaker 3: do the unfinished work of others, they will not fulfill
- 12:36Speaker 3: God's plan for their lives because they have to start
- 12:39Speaker 3: from where somebody stopped and they may never become what
- 12:42Speaker 3: they were designed to become.
- 12:43Speaker 4: That's what we are dealing with. Do you understand what
- 12:46Speaker 4: I'm saying here? They may never. Okay?
- 12:50Speaker 3: And the cycle just continues. And in most cases, in fact,
- 12:57Speaker 3: some children now seem to have found out that families
- 13:00Speaker 3: don't respect you until you have money. So either way
- 13:02Speaker 3: is to get the money. If you will kill to
- 13:04Speaker 3: get the money, kill. We have in our songs now,
- 13:06Speaker 3: people say, because we seem to have exalted Money.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Regardless of the means.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? We seem to have
- 13:20Speaker 3: exalted money. Regardless of what the means. We seem to
- 13:25Speaker 3: have exalted.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Just have it. We don't care how you get it.
- 13:30Speaker 4: And that's corruption. These are issues.
- 13:33Speaker 3: That the church must not overlook. These are issues we
- 13:36Speaker 3: must deal with. That if you have a son. That
- 13:40Speaker 3: the place he's working.
- 13:41Speaker 4: He's earning 150,000 naira. But is using 2 point something million. Weekend.
- 13:48Speaker 4: For Dorime. It calls for a question.
- 13:56Speaker 3: You must not allow poverty get so deep. That you
- 13:58Speaker 3: can't question where money is coming from. That's what we
- 14:01Speaker 3: are talking about. We have girls in prostitution beside the road.
- 14:05Speaker 3: That they are spending money home. The mother knows this
- 14:08Speaker 3: girl is not employed. But this girl keeps sending money
- 14:11Speaker 3: home every week. And they are collecting it.
- 14:14Speaker 4: When this day, no one day, they will use this
- 14:16Speaker 4: child for ritual. Well, let us survive first.
- 14:20Speaker 3: When people enter survival mode, wickedness take hold of their lives.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Do you understand what I'm saying here? And we have
- 14:30Speaker 4: to address it. This is emancipation. This is freedom. Okay?
- 14:39Speaker 3: It is God calling us to order. It is God
- 14:43Speaker 3: calling us to adjustment. It is God saying there's a
- 14:45Speaker 3: way to do it. It is God saying we can
- 14:48Speaker 3: do it right. And these are issues. Let me say
- 14:54Speaker 3: this to you. I want to say this on record.
- 14:59Speaker 3: And it is not a way to spite what God
- 15:03Speaker 3: is doing in Nigeria.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Okay? But take this from a pastor.
- 15:11Speaker 3: We are not ready for anything good in this nation
- 15:14Speaker 3: until we have dealt with the excesses of the church.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Take this. We are not ready. You have to check
- 15:26Speaker 4: in what way are ministries benefiting from lawlessness. Do you
- 15:30Speaker 4: understand what I'm saying here? It's a matter of excesses.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I saw a video, and I'm not one to call
- 15:44Speaker 4: people out.
- 15:45Speaker 3: You know my life. I just prefer to focus on
- 15:49Speaker 3: my assignment. But I saw a video that shook me
- 15:52Speaker 3: to my core. A pastor called somebody out.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Say, you, Mr. So-and-so, come here. Come. Kneel down. This, this, this.
- 15:59Speaker 4: I want 150,000 Naira from you. I want it now.
- 16:06Speaker 3: This is somebody's father. You are saying to kneel down.
- 16:13Speaker 3: And you say I'm not forcing you... Sir this is manipulation....
- 16:17Speaker 4: Say am I forcing you? No... Am I forcing you? No...
- 16:23Speaker 4: I want 150,000 there... Can you give me? Say yes...
- 16:27Speaker 4: Say go and send it now... They will come and
- 16:28Speaker 4: pray for you... How? We are... See... God changed Nigeria...
- 16:35Speaker 4: We are not ready... Until these matters are addressed.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Do you understand.
- 16:40Speaker 4: What I'm saying? Listen to what I'm saying.
- 16:42Speaker 3: The same way, if you are going to deal with
- 16:44Speaker 3: the political structure of Nigeria, you have to make politics
- 16:49Speaker 3: less attractive.
- 16:51Speaker 4: There is a way ministries have become so attractive for thieves.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Annual salary of an average prof in Nigeria, an average
- 17:01Speaker 3: prof is earning 500,000 per month, 450,000 to 600,000, depending
- 17:03Speaker 3: on where.
- 17:04Speaker 4: So annual salary you have between Let's say 5 to
- 17:15Speaker 4: 6 million. That is not up to half of what
- 17:19Speaker 4: they used to buy vehicles for politicians recently. So what
- 17:25Speaker 4: does he pay to become? A professor? Or a thief?
- 17:35Speaker 4: Let me say this. Anybody who is in ministry must
- 17:38Speaker 4: know that one day you will stand before Jesus and
- 17:40Speaker 4: give account to. Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 17:46Speaker 4: Nigeria this, Nigeria that. Many of those who are.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Destroying this nation have found refuge in church. And it's
- 17:56Speaker 3: time to throw away the tables of the money changers.
- 17:58Speaker 3: The moment pastors don't have a price, politicians will adjust. Oh,
- 18:06Speaker 3: he's saying this because they are young ministries. People have
- 18:08Speaker 3: not started bringing in millions.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Nonsense.
- 18:11Speaker 3: You need to understand the kind of things we have rejected.
- 18:15Speaker 3: You think that this devil would have no heart Because
- 18:19Speaker 3: I don't talk We don't People that want to sponsor
- 18:32Speaker 3: your ministry So they can buy your voice Okay These
- 18:39Speaker 3: are issues And I don't want us to get emotional
- 18:44Speaker 3: What is not good It's not good.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Don't get emotional.
- 18:50Speaker 3: When we teach on black tax, we are not saying
- 18:52Speaker 3: don't be kind to your parents. We are saying there's
- 18:55Speaker 3: a dysfunction in the order.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Everybody seems to gather and feast up the one who
- 19:02Speaker 4: is doing a bit better. And people don't care. That
- 19:07Speaker 4: one dies.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Let's just survive this season. I call it survival mode
- 19:12Speaker 3: and that's why I showed you that scripture. So what
- 19:15Speaker 3: do you do if you have found yourself in that situation?
- 19:18Speaker 3: How do you survive? Do you know that there is
- 19:25Speaker 3: a way you'll be neck deep in black tax and
- 19:29Speaker 3: miss your future partner? The person will just look at
- 19:34Speaker 3: you and calculate, can I handle all this responsibility? First
- 19:38Speaker 3: born out of seven children. This, this, this, this is
- 19:40Speaker 3: what she's doing. The father is doing this, the mother
- 19:43Speaker 3: is doing this. Me too, I'm coming first born out
- 19:45Speaker 3: of 19. all these ones are there I like this
- 19:49Speaker 3: girl but we're going to hurt each other and the
- 19:52Speaker 3: two people will miss each other because they inherited what
- 19:55Speaker 3: is not theirs.
- 20:00Speaker 4: These are issues do you understand what I'm saying and
- 20:06Speaker 4: we must get it right So is it good to give? Yes.
- 20:12Speaker 4: And I showed you on Sunday. In fact, the.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Bible says that he that gives to the poor lends
- 20:18Speaker 3: to God. Poverty is a bad thing. But the solution
- 20:25Speaker 3: to poverty is not just money. Poverty is there in
- 20:29Speaker 3: the first place because of a knowledge gap. Proverbs 24
- 20:33Speaker 3: from verse 2. Through wisdom a house is built. By
- 20:37Speaker 3: understanding it is established. Through knowledge the rooms are filled
- 20:41Speaker 3: with pleasant riches. So if there's going to be abundance,
- 20:46Speaker 3: there's a body of knowledge you must have.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Is that okay now?
- 20:50Speaker 3: If anybody gives you money without that body of knowledge,
- 20:54Speaker 3: you will not know what to do with it.
- 20:57Speaker 4: It is that body of knowledge first. Okay?
- 21:02Speaker 3: So what you do to solve poverty problem is not
- 21:06Speaker 3: just throwing money in the air.
- 21:09Speaker 4: It is, we need to solve knowledge problem.
- 21:13Speaker 3: We need to deal with mindset and orientation.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Poor people wear the most expensive things. Okay? They use
- 21:21Speaker 4: money for the most unnecessary things. It's a mindset. Are
- 21:27Speaker 4: you following what I'm saying here?
- 21:29Speaker 3: Because the culture is wired in such a way that...
- 21:36Speaker 3: We say things like it is the way you dress
- 21:37Speaker 3: that you be addressed Fantastic So it's good to look
- 21:41Speaker 3: good But at your cost At the level of what
- 21:44Speaker 3: you can afford.
- 21:46Speaker 4: Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 21:49Speaker 3: People Let's think Let's think Two young people are planning
- 21:55Speaker 3: to get married They don't know What they are going
- 21:58Speaker 3: to eat after marriage But they are going to put
- 22:01Speaker 3: all those money For.
- 22:03Speaker 4: A colorful reception Why? It's mindset. And why are we
- 22:08Speaker 4: doing that? So that my pictures too can be framed. Okay?
- 22:16Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? So we have to
- 22:21Speaker 3: begin to investigate what are the things you are doing
- 22:26Speaker 3: to service somebody's opinion? Not because they are necessary or
- 22:32Speaker 3: you just want to help people manage their opinion or
- 22:34Speaker 3: their impression about you.
- 22:37Speaker 4: So he put people under unnecessary pressure. Are you following
- 22:42Speaker 4: what I'm saying? A girl that has not bought one
- 22:45Speaker 4: book is buying human air, 250,000. And she's cutting. She's cutting.
- 22:56Speaker 4: But there's human air, 250,000.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Okay, say, opposed to you are a man, so you
- 23:02Speaker 3: may never understand what human air means.
- 23:03Speaker 4: It lasts longer. No problem.
- 23:08Speaker 3: When it gets to that point I don't try to
- 23:09Speaker 3: argue but you two think about it what you have
- 23:12Speaker 3: just said does it make sense are you following what
- 23:17Speaker 3: I'm saying this boy doesn't have much he's still trying
- 23:20Speaker 3: to build his life he just met a girl now
- 23:25Speaker 3: now now the girl has put bill on him and
- 23:27Speaker 3: say ah in fact the way of girls that you
- 23:31Speaker 3: meet the day you meet them they just tell you
- 23:33Speaker 3: that you won't believe my rent just expired how much
- 23:35Speaker 3: is your rent Say, my rent is 590,000. I'm going
- 23:37Speaker 3: to pay agent fee. You know the way Abuja is. Say, ah,
- 23:45Speaker 3: consider it done. Consider it done. He doesn't have food
- 23:49Speaker 3: at home. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 23:56Speaker 4: It's culture.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Families will not mind borrowing money for burial. And the
- 24:04Speaker 3: same people who spend those millions on burial can't give
- 24:08Speaker 3: you kubo or school fees.
- 24:11Speaker 4: And when they wait and wait, nobody's dying.
- 24:14Speaker 3: They will tell you that the person that died 20
- 24:15Speaker 3: years ago, they want to redo the burial.
- 24:18Speaker 4: In my village, they will say they want to turn
- 24:20Speaker 4: the back. They are tired.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Why is nobody dying? It is something. We need to
- 24:26Speaker 3: gather money again and do all those things.
- 24:27Speaker 4: And buy clothes.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Many of those parties, the money they have spent for musicians,
- 24:33Speaker 3: those who are dancing in those parties.
- 24:34Speaker 4: The clothes, how expensive it is, the gold they wear.
- 24:38Speaker 4: They are children, sir. They are languishing in poverty. Why
- 24:44Speaker 4: do we do this? Because we are established on faulty culture.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Culture to impress. The clothes you are wearing is more
- 24:52Speaker 4: expensive than your rent and you think you are fine.
- 24:59Speaker 4: These are issues. This calls for sober reflection, sir.
- 25:07Speaker 3: It is very easy to point accusing fingers at politicians
- 25:10Speaker 3: for wasting. But who is the better waster?
- 25:16Speaker 4: Alright?
- 25:18Speaker 3: So these are matters that needs to be addressed. Because
- 25:29Speaker 3: Many of the things happening outside, they are offshoot of
- 25:32Speaker 3: what is going on in families. And the Bible said
- 25:35Speaker 3: in the book of Psalms, chapter number 11, verse 3.
- 25:38Speaker 4: For instance, the family is the bedrock of the society.
- 25:41Speaker 4: It's the foundation. True? What's the foundation of the society? Family.
- 25:46Speaker 4: That's the smallest structural and functional unit of the society.
- 25:49Speaker 3: So the Bible says that if that foundation be destroyed,
- 25:53Speaker 3: what can the righteous do? The society is messed up.
- 25:57Speaker 3: If you want to attack a society, attack the families.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Are you following what I'm saying here? So, I want
- 26:07Speaker 3: to show you responsibilities not to take up in your family.
- 26:15Speaker 3: This is a form of black tax. And this one
- 26:19Speaker 3: has nothing to do with money.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Responsibilities. Responsibilities.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Someone said that Africa is the most painful continent on
- 26:33Speaker 3: earth and yet the most joyful. We suffer and smile.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Happy. In fact, in Nigeria, we pride ourselves in the
- 26:46Speaker 4: fact that we are resilient.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Comedians will make jokes showing how soldiers brutalize someone unjustly.
- 26:55Speaker 3: We have become so comfortable with it, it is now
- 26:57Speaker 3: a thing of fun. that some of these things don't
- 27:02Speaker 3: make sense. They don't make any sense. You can just
- 27:04Speaker 3: see something like, somebody went to do something, a match
- 27:07Speaker 3: on somebody, by.
- 27:08Speaker 4: The time they showed the person, they showed the big chest.
- 27:11Speaker 4: And then? So that you have big chest means you
- 27:14Speaker 4: oppress somebody.
- 27:16Speaker 3: We have become one with the culture of oppression. We
- 27:24Speaker 3: make songs of it. We make jokes out of it.
- 27:28Speaker 3: We do stupid things out of it. Somebody can just
- 27:32Speaker 3: show that, hey, a cat did something and then before
- 27:34Speaker 3: you know it, it was a soldier. The soldier to
- 27:36Speaker 3: do like this. Being a soldier is it to defend
- 27:38Speaker 3: your country or to oppress your people? We have become
- 27:44Speaker 3: one with our oppression. And that's because we have refused
- 27:53Speaker 3: to think about Do you understand what I'm saying? Sometimes,
- 28:11Speaker 3: even our prophecy session is oppressive.
- 28:17Speaker 4: You, you be witch. I not be witch, oh. I
- 28:23Speaker 4: not be witch.
- 28:28Speaker 3: And you have live cameras on the press scene. Let's
- 28:51Speaker 3: leave it. Let me show you a story. The book
- 28:58Speaker 3: of John, chapter number 4. Some of you are ready
- 29:03Speaker 3: for this, teacher.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Are you sure you are ready for this conversation tonight? Because...
- 29:14Speaker 4: John chapter number 4.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Let's start the reading from verse 7. John 4 from
- 29:23Speaker 3: verse 7. There comes a woman, John 4 from verse 7,
- 29:29Speaker 3: of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, give
- 29:33Speaker 3: me to drink, for his disciples have gone away to
- 29:36Speaker 3: the city to buy me.
- 29:37Speaker 4: Then said the woman of Samaria to him, how is
- 29:39Speaker 4: it that.
- 29:40Speaker 3: You being a jew ask drink of me which i'm
- 29:43Speaker 3: a woman of samaria for the jews have no dealing
- 29:46Speaker 3: with the samaritans jesus has said and said to i
- 29:51Speaker 3: if you knew the gift of god and which is
- 29:53Speaker 3: that said to you give me to drink you would
- 29:55Speaker 3: you would have haxed of him, and he would have
- 29:59Speaker 3: given you living water. The woman said to him, Sir,
- 30:02Speaker 3: you have nothing to draw with, and this well is deep.
- 30:05Speaker 3: From where then have you this living water? Are you
- 30:08Speaker 3: greater than our father Jacob, which gave us this well,
- 30:11Speaker 3: and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
- 30:16Speaker 3: And Jesus answered and said to her, Whoever drinks of
- 30:19Speaker 3: this water shall test again. But whoever drinks of the
- 30:22Speaker 3: water that I shall give him shall never test. But
- 30:26Speaker 3: the water that I shall give him shall be in
- 30:28Speaker 3: him a well of water, springing up into everlasting life.
- 30:32Speaker 3: The woman said to him, Sir, give me this water
- 30:34Speaker 3: that I taste not, neither come here to draw. Then
- 30:37Speaker 3: Jesus said to her, Go and call your husband. Then
- 30:39Speaker 3: the woman said, I have no husband. Jesus said, You
- 30:43Speaker 3: have well said I have no husband, for you have
- 30:45Speaker 3: had five husbands. And him whom you are with now
- 30:49Speaker 3: is not your husband.
- 30:51Speaker 4: In that said you truly. The woman said to him, sir,
- 30:56Speaker 4: I perceive that you are a prophet. So let me
- 30:58Speaker 4: explain the culture.
- 30:59Speaker 3: And you can see this also in the story of Judah.
- 31:02Speaker 3: When somebody marries somebody and the person's husband died, maybe
- 31:05Speaker 3: among five children, then the next person is obligated to
- 31:08Speaker 3: marry the woman. And then that one too died. The
- 31:12Speaker 3: next person is obligated to marry the woman. Then that
- 31:14Speaker 3: one too died. Then this one is obligated to marry
- 31:16Speaker 3: the woman. And that one too died. So usually it's
- 31:20Speaker 3: a custom. And it was a bad culture. okay where
- 31:27Speaker 3: people in fact i think in some places in nigeria
- 31:30Speaker 3: they do it where somebody's wife died or husband died
- 31:33Speaker 3: and this person is obligated maybe the wife of the
- 31:36Speaker 3: elder brother also to now marry the person okay and
- 31:41Speaker 3: these are issues so i i read that story to
- 31:45Speaker 3: show you something it's a responsibility not to take particularly
- 31:52Speaker 3: for those who are coming from family that you have
- 31:54Speaker 3: lost your dad. Never replace him. Never replace your late dad.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Write it in capital letter. Okay, those of you who
- 32:11Speaker 3: don't know what this means, you have your both parents alive,
- 32:14Speaker 3: so you may not understand this.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Well, bless God for you. But there are people who
- 32:19Speaker 4: understand what I'm saying.
- 32:22Speaker 3: If care is not taken, in fact, it is one
- 32:27Speaker 3: of the reasons why sometimes we feel firstborn struggle a lot.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Because it looks like the firstborn live for the rest.
- 32:36Speaker 3: He's used to serve the rest and when they climb,
- 32:38Speaker 3: everybody look down on him and insult him or insult her.
- 32:43Speaker 3: And there seems to be a pressure on the first
- 32:45Speaker 3: male that if your dad is no more, then you
- 32:47Speaker 3: are now It sounds mature. And it sounds like a responsibility.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Noble one. Get what I'm saying. When I say never
- 33:00Speaker 4: replace your late dad, I'm saying you are the son
- 33:02Speaker 4: of your mother.
- 33:03Speaker 3: You are not her husband. Don't confuse the responsibility. You see,
- 33:08Speaker 3: what I'm teaching you today is a very serious matter.
- 33:11Speaker 3: The moment you confuse the role of a son to
- 33:13Speaker 3: being the husband, number one, you'll have to continue the
- 33:15Speaker 3: work from where it stopped. So it means that your
- 33:20Speaker 3: life as you were planning will have to stop because
- 33:23Speaker 3: something else has to continue.
- 33:25Speaker 4: And that's not God's design.
- 33:29Speaker 3: So it's a levy that is placed on people to
- 33:32Speaker 3: continue what they didn't start.
- 33:35Speaker 4: It's a tax. It's a tax.
- 33:42Speaker 3: If you are going to do well, there are certain
- 33:47Speaker 3: things you will never be guilt-tripped into.
- 33:51Speaker 4: I fly as a man who insists on what they do.
- 33:57Speaker 3: In fact, if not, the devil knows that one way
- 34:00Speaker 3: to distract your journey for life is for something to
- 34:03Speaker 3: happen in the family and then you are.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Do you know what happens? Somebody has lost the dad.
- 34:09Speaker 4: They say now you are the father of this house.
- 34:11Speaker 4: No problem.
- 34:13Speaker 3: We are not raising irresponsible people. But the problem now
- 34:18Speaker 3: is that this person's primary obligation to his own immediate
- 34:21Speaker 3: family is being contested for. Meanwhile, everyone has responsibility to
- 34:31Speaker 3: do what they should do. Go to school, study, make
- 34:36Speaker 3: money and support. Everybody collectively support. You are not your
- 34:53Speaker 3: late dad. And you are not obligated to feel issues.
- 35:00Speaker 3: You have a call upon your life. You have an assignment.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Be responsible.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Support your family. Don't watch them suffer. Or don't replace
- 35:08Speaker 4: who you are not.
- 35:15Speaker 3: If your mom will have to remarry later, And if
- 35:19Speaker 3: you are a lady, you have lost your mom.
- 35:21Speaker 4: You can't replace your mother. You are not your father's wife.
- 35:24Speaker 4: You are his daughter.
- 35:29Speaker 3: If you will have to remarry, let him. You know,
- 35:41Speaker 3: I said some things and sometimes we like to shy
- 35:44Speaker 3: away from it. There is a way you will be
- 35:46Speaker 3: a young person and men will be avoiding you. Because
- 35:49Speaker 3: you're already carrying too much... And we have broken many...
- 35:56Speaker 3: I'm telling you... And there's a way you'll be a
- 35:58Speaker 3: young guy.
- 35:59Speaker 4: That.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Any woman that will marry your kind... Will have to
- 36:03Speaker 3: fight many battles.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Because it's like she's marrying you and the community....
- 36:14Speaker 3: And you have to... Decisively have a controlled environment... The
- 36:19Speaker 3: best way to be a blessing to that family is
- 36:22Speaker 3: in becoming what God designed you to become.
- 36:27Speaker 4: Not what you are obligated to become. And in becoming
- 36:33Speaker 4: what God designed you to become, the journey of emergence
- 36:39Speaker 4: into it may make you look wicked. But that is
- 36:42Speaker 4: the way to be a blessing.
- 36:47Speaker 3: It may be that at certain point I can't afford
- 36:50Speaker 3: this because I'm a work in progress.
- 36:56Speaker 4: You don't have to inherit your late father's room in
- 36:58Speaker 4: the village. Do you understand?
- 37:01Speaker 5: You don't have to.
- 37:05Speaker 4: You have an assignment. You have an assignment. You have
- 37:15Speaker 4: a family. And the earlier you understand that, the better.
- 37:18Speaker 4: If not, the pattern of dysfunctionality will continue. It will
- 37:22Speaker 4: never end. It will never end. Number two, responsibilities you
- 37:27Speaker 4: must never take. Okay? Are you with me?
- 37:34Speaker 3: If you have a firstborn or an elder one that
- 37:37Speaker 3: is not doing well, you are not their replacement.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Never allow anybody make you the firstborn when you are not.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Comparing children with children is a way to make them
- 37:50Speaker 3: eternal enemies.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Never allow such comparison.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Never allow your elder ones to be called worthless because
- 38:03Speaker 3: you are successful. Some of you have elder ones that
- 38:10Speaker 3: are not Maybe as successful as you are not getting
- 38:13Speaker 3: it right after this. Never allow anybody tell you you
- 38:17Speaker 3: are the firstborn because of the level of your success.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Never allow them put you ahead of your elder ones
- 38:26Speaker 3: because you are more successful.
- 38:28Speaker 4: You must give them their place.
- 38:31Speaker 3: God's intention is not to have Esau and Jacob in families.
- 38:37Speaker 3: It is not a case where the elder will serve
- 38:39Speaker 3: the younger. God wants everyone to do well Do you
- 38:45Speaker 3: understand what I'm saying? It's a very serious matter. Never
- 38:48Speaker 3: accept it. Many firstborns have come to a point where
- 38:54Speaker 3: they now hate their sibling.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Because they compare them at every provocation. Look at your brother.
- 39:01Speaker 4: Look at his life. He's thinking fast. He's better. He's better.
- 39:05Speaker 4: Look at you. You are good for nothing. As old
- 39:07Speaker 4: as you are. This, this, this. Look at your younger one.
- 39:10Speaker 4: Look at their life.
- 39:11Speaker 3: See how they are doing everything right. What can you
- 39:15Speaker 3: do right in this life? Can you ever succeed in
- 39:17Speaker 3: this life? Look at your siblings.
- 39:19Speaker 4: Look at this.
- 39:20Speaker 3: And that guy sits down. And he's watching family meetings,
- 39:24Speaker 3: how they relegate everything. And some of them become bitter
- 39:28Speaker 3: and even kill their siblings over land. those who put
- 39:34Speaker 3: you ahead of those who are ahead of you don't
- 39:36Speaker 3: love you either it is a survival structure never accept
- 39:43Speaker 3: it are you following what I'm saying Are you following
- 39:52Speaker 3: what I am saying? This is heavy.
- 39:55Speaker 4: Some of you are because you know practically what I
- 39:58Speaker 4: am saying.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Somehow it's like our system is not patient with anybody
- 40:04Speaker 3: who is in process.
- 40:09Speaker 4: We make those mistakes. Have you seen a case where
- 40:17Speaker 4: this happens a lot in many Africa homes?
- 40:21Speaker 3: The younger one is ready for marriage to settle down.
- 40:24Speaker 3: But they say you can't because your elder sister is
- 40:26Speaker 3: not married. So we have to pause your life. Meanwhile,
- 40:36Speaker 3: being married, is it by age? Is it age that
- 40:39Speaker 3: determines who is ready? Is that all that determines who
- 40:42Speaker 3: is ready? And that one is now under pressure and
- 40:45Speaker 3: does not mind marrying wrong. Just so that now my
- 40:49Speaker 3: siblings are The pressure around the area.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Of marriage can drive people crazy. Okay? And these are
- 41:01Speaker 4: things to discuss. Are you ready for number three? Number
- 41:05Speaker 4: what now? Let me give an illustration. Is that okay?
- 41:10Speaker 4: People are looking at me in this house. Are you sure?
- 41:15Speaker 4: Can I give an illustration? Are you sure? I should
- 41:21Speaker 4: fly out of this place now. Nakale, please come. There's
- 41:26Speaker 4: a condition that we need to help.
- 41:29Speaker 3: The way your life should be planned is in a
- 41:33Speaker 3: way that there's so much, you have invested so much
- 41:36Speaker 3: in your time and in the quality of your life
- 41:40Speaker 3: that you can be strong enough to meet all the responsibilities.
- 41:45Speaker 3: If you waste that time and time is no longer
- 41:48Speaker 3: on your side, You will need to borrow the time
- 41:51Speaker 3: of your children.
- 41:54Speaker 4: And use them to work because your time is wasted.
- 42:06Speaker 3: So the early phase of their life will be adding
- 42:09Speaker 3: their quality time to yours.
- 42:11Speaker 4: Never allow your time to be borrowed by one who
- 42:16Speaker 4: didn't use their own will. Please be seated. I know
- 42:31Speaker 4: many people won't like me for this series.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Because once we start touching the root where those demons
- 42:37Speaker 3: are entrenched, we get emotional. Before Abraham could become anything
- 42:54Speaker 3: with God, God had to tell him, get out of
- 42:59Speaker 3: your father's house.
- 43:07Speaker 4: There are homes to get out of to ever matter
- 43:10Speaker 4: in life.
- 43:15Speaker 3: There are families to journey away from to ever become
- 43:19Speaker 3: profitable and useful for them. We are not instigating children
- 43:26Speaker 3: against parents. I am teaching the practical wisdom of God's word.
- 43:34Speaker 3: Looking at the practical cases of what is on ground
- 43:37Speaker 3: that we.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Don't have messages for. People are going.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Through things that we have not been able to situate
- 43:50Speaker 3: them in the context of the word and bring them out.
- 44:00Speaker 4: It is not sign of loyalty to continue.
- 44:10Speaker 3: Your father's well-drained work or carpentry work or whatever work.
- 44:18Speaker 4: When you should be building your life. It is not loyalty.
- 44:25Speaker 5: It is dysfunction.
- 44:26Speaker 4: It is dysfunction.
- 44:33Speaker 3: And if the time of two, three, four children are
- 44:35Speaker 3: absorbed to continue that, and then later they are left
- 44:42Speaker 3: midway to now start to figure their own way, some
- 44:48Speaker 3: of them cannot meet up with school because they have
- 44:53Speaker 3: spent that time doing what they should not be doing.
- 45:02Speaker 3: My advice is simple. Maximize your time so you will
- 45:06Speaker 3: not need to borrow anyone's own.
- 45:10Speaker 4: Do you understand? This one I just mentioned, do you
- 45:16Speaker 4: understand it? Do you have an idea of what it is?
- 45:21Speaker 4: Do you? So let me explain this. There are children
- 45:26Speaker 4: that should be in school but now they have to
- 45:28Speaker 4: work for the family.
- 45:30Speaker 3: It was not their place. They should be in school.
- 45:38Speaker 3: And somebody should be paying the school fees. That's the design.
- 45:46Speaker 3: They should be in school.
- 45:47Speaker 4: That's the design. Are we saying people should be irresponsible? No.
- 46:00Speaker 3: And I'm telling you. You may be sitting here as
- 46:03Speaker 3: young people. And it's sweet to hear. Until you have
- 46:07Speaker 3: wasted your own time. And you will need people's time.
- 46:12Speaker 4: Okay.
- 46:13Speaker 3: So what you want to do. Don't sit down and
- 46:16Speaker 3: play blame game. I'm not teaching you so you can
- 46:18Speaker 3: reflect on your parents.
- 46:19Speaker 4: And hate them. I'm saying you. Start.
- 46:23Speaker 3: One of the grace upon my life. Is to help
- 46:25Speaker 3: people detach from wrong pattern. With the teaching of God's word.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Okay. Understand this. Do you understand what I'm saying? Let
- 46:36Speaker 4: me say this to you. Listen. Let me tell you this.
- 46:39Speaker 4: I was watching the video. There's a bishop.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Maybe I should mention it online. Bishop Mike Bamdele in Malaysia.
- 46:46Speaker 3: He was having his 60th birthday. Bishop Boyedepo sent him
- 46:49Speaker 3: a video where he was giving him his eulogy and
- 46:53Speaker 3: then saying celebrate him. And he said a statement in
- 46:55Speaker 3: that video. He said you are as old as you
- 46:58Speaker 3: think you are. He said Moses began his ministry at 80.
- 47:07Speaker 3: If you don't understand this simple principle, at 70 you
- 47:11Speaker 3: will feel too old to die. There is a concept where.
- 47:19Speaker 4: Young people want to become grandpa and grandma on time.
- 47:24Speaker 4: We have to deal with it.
- 47:26Speaker 3: It's an ideology where we start practicing old age at
- 47:31Speaker 3: our productive season.
- 47:36Speaker 4: Do you understand what I'm saying? And it's showing now.
- 47:41Speaker 3: Many young girls and young boys can't wait to be grandpas.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Because it is prestige in Africa. When your children are mature,
- 47:51Speaker 3: people will honor you. People will honor you for the
- 47:54Speaker 3: quality of the work you have done.
- 47:57Speaker 4: It's mindset.
- 48:04Speaker 3: What will you be at 15? Will you still be vibrant?
- 48:08Speaker 3: A father was sharing with me, the body of Christ,
- 48:11Speaker 3: a bishop. He told me, when he clocked 60, when
- 48:14Speaker 3: he clocked 59, I went to the pastor here, I
- 48:16Speaker 3: was able to pray for him. Baba said, no, come
- 48:17Speaker 3: back when you are 60. When he clocked 60, he
- 48:20Speaker 3: went back. Baba said, now I'm going to pray for you.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Because now you are about to begin your ministry. If
- 48:26Speaker 3: you have that consciousness, that in your old age, you
- 48:30Speaker 3: still have strength to ask for the mountain, you will
- 48:32Speaker 3: live long. If you don't understand what I'm teaching you now,
- 48:39Speaker 3: once you start crossing 40, 50, you're already looking up
- 48:42Speaker 3: to your children. Do you understand what I'm saying? So,
- 48:49Speaker 3: because you know that that's the way you are thinking,
- 48:52Speaker 3: you will not be productive. You will see them as
- 48:54Speaker 3: your investment to reap from.
- 49:00Speaker 4: Do you understand? I'm teaching from my heart.
- 49:03Speaker 6: I think somebody was sharing a challenge with me.
- 49:08Speaker 3: I said, hold on a minute.
- 49:10Speaker 4: How old is your mom? She said, 50-something. I said,
- 49:15Speaker 4: go and check. How old is your mom? She said, 60-something.
- 49:21Speaker 4: How old is Tony? She said, 60-something.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Being in your purpose and active at it makes you
- 49:27Speaker 3: look young. Don't be in a hurry to get old.
- 49:39Speaker 4: It's an African thing. Do you understand what I'm teaching?
- 49:43Speaker 4: Do you get it? Don't be in a hurry.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Sometimes it doesn't make sense when they start calling you
- 49:56Speaker 3: grandma at 46. We are not saying you are not grandma,
- 50:01Speaker 3: but it makes you feel you are already old.
- 50:13Speaker 4: Africa, oh Africa.
- 50:18Speaker 3: What we are doing is that we are going to
- 50:20Speaker 3: the root of matters and overhauling wrong cultures, wrong cultures,
- 50:26Speaker 3: wrong cultures.
- 50:27Speaker 4: The syllabus for what God is doing now is different.
- 50:31Speaker 3: There is a need to go deep and help a
- 50:34Speaker 3: generation from the foundation. It is a difficult work, but
- 50:38Speaker 3: we must do it. And as the church will not
- 50:41Speaker 3: shy away from those things. Do you get what I'm saying?
- 50:44Speaker 4: I have that perspective. Alright?
- 50:55Speaker 3: Caleb was already in his 80s. But he still said,
- 51:00Speaker 3: give me this mountain. He said, it was promised to
- 51:03Speaker 3: me while I was young. But now, I am still
- 51:05Speaker 3: as strong as I was then.
- 51:07Speaker 4: I'm ready to go.
- 51:07Speaker 3: And there are people who will say, even in my
- 51:09Speaker 3: old age, give me this mountain. I watched a sitting governor,
- 51:14Speaker 3: said nobody in my family had crossed 70. He said,
- 51:16Speaker 3: once I crossed 70, I've done enough. And he died
- 51:18Speaker 3: at 70.
- 51:19Speaker 4: It's a mindset.
- 51:21Speaker 3: I said it's a mindset. You must understand that. I
- 51:24Speaker 3: stumbled on the video. There is a way your theology
- 51:27Speaker 3: affects your life outcome.
- 51:29Speaker 4: I stumbled on a video.
- 51:30Speaker 3: The man of God was trying to explain to people
- 51:31Speaker 3: who died young that it is not quality of how long,
- 51:34Speaker 3: but what you have done.
- 51:35Speaker 4: I shut down the video.
- 51:36Speaker 3: I said, if the doctrinal perspective of scripture is that
- 51:39Speaker 3: with long life, I will satisfy you.
- 51:41Speaker 4: I am not satisfied with doing something quality in a
- 51:44Speaker 4: short while. Something quality for a long time.
- 51:47Speaker 3: My doctrine shapes my outcome. The theology affects your life.
- 51:53Speaker 3: That's why theology is a very important subject.
- 51:56Speaker 4: What you believe.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Determines what you become. I shut down the video. I
- 52:03Speaker 3: won't take this.
- 52:05Speaker 4: Because there is a way you can become compassionate around death.
- 52:08Speaker 3: That okay, yeah, it's not about how far but how well.
- 52:11Speaker 4: But the devil said I like that.
- 52:13Speaker 3: Do it well. Short cut the life short. You must
- 52:18Speaker 3: understand that. We must fight for what is right. Somebody
- 52:22Speaker 3: needs to end the narrative. Change the confusion. Let something
- 52:26Speaker 3: new begin from you. Do you understand what I'm saying here?
- 52:29Speaker 3: Let something new begin from you. Invest quality in your time.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Don't drink, sir. Don't go to club. Serve God now
- 52:39Speaker 3: that you have strength. Remember your creator in the days
- 52:43Speaker 3: of your youth. The Bible says, when evil days have
- 52:45Speaker 3: not come. When you no longer have to say, I
- 52:47Speaker 3: have no pleasure.
- 52:48Speaker 4: In these things. Okay?
- 52:49Speaker 3: When you get it right from the foundation, the rest
- 52:52Speaker 3: will be smooth.
- 52:55Speaker 4: Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 52:56Speaker 3: If you miss it now, don't try to now, what
- 52:59Speaker 3: people do is that they.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Now try to look for a word and make it
- 53:02Speaker 4: look like, I haven't done all I should do. I
- 53:04Speaker 4: still didn't get what I should get. Nah, lie. You
- 53:09Speaker 4: can't get it right. Okay?
- 53:14Speaker 3: God is going to use you for your families, but
- 53:16Speaker 3: understand that the best place to stand is in the
- 53:18Speaker 3: center of your purpose. You must fight to cut off
- 53:23Speaker 3: the tentacles. When you stand there, it will be effortless
- 53:26Speaker 3: to lift the hands of men. I said something about
- 53:29Speaker 3: the crab culture. If you want to keep crabs, you
- 53:31Speaker 3: don't have to cover anywhere you are putting them. Put
- 53:33Speaker 3: as many of them in a bucket. The ones down
- 53:35Speaker 3: will never allow anyone to climb. So you become strong,
- 53:40Speaker 3: then you can pull people. If not, you will not
- 53:44Speaker 3: be able to. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 53:45Speaker 4: The whole thing will keep pulling you down and at
- 53:48Speaker 4: the end of the day, three generations, nobody has succeeded.
- 53:52Speaker 4: The family.
- 53:54Speaker 3: Nobody became anything significant. Sometimes we need to go back
- 53:57Speaker 3: and study the history of the family. You call it
- 54:00Speaker 3: generational cost. We are not saying it is not. But
- 54:03Speaker 3: what is the intelligence of the operation of that generational cost?
- 54:08Speaker 3: Why didn't anybody climb? You see, Let me tell you something.
- 54:13Speaker 3: In Africa, we engage in what is called spiritism. We
- 54:16Speaker 3: just anchor every outcome on ancestors. He's the demon of
- 54:22Speaker 3: the father's house. But there are intelligent modes of operation
- 54:27Speaker 3: of this spirit. For instance, whenever there is poverty, you
- 54:31Speaker 3: will most likely find immorality.
- 54:34Speaker 4: Most likely. So you study it. Don't just say, spirit
- 54:38Speaker 4: of poverty in this house, catch fire. But that poverty
- 54:42Speaker 4: came because somebody was promiscuous. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 54:49Speaker 4: You check it. You say, witchcraft, witchcraft. Witchcraft are not
- 54:53Speaker 4: that powerful. They are the lowest indicator of darkness.
- 54:56Speaker 3: Anywhere witchcraft overhauled the entire family, there's always a pattern
- 55:00Speaker 3: of disobedience to God.
- 55:04Speaker 4: When God finds a child.
- 55:05Speaker 3: And pull him away from that place, set him in
- 55:07Speaker 3: a place where he will learn the word, understand and mature,
- 55:10Speaker 3: that child will grow like witchcraft does not exist. Meanwhile,
- 55:14Speaker 3: three generations said they couldn't survive because of witchcraft. And
- 55:18Speaker 3: you find out as you study their life, they all
- 55:19Speaker 3: hated church. They only went to church at the first night.
- 55:22Speaker 3: They hated pastors. They find everything to say against the church.
- 55:25Speaker 3: God has exempted you. I see God exempting people. I
- 55:30Speaker 3: see God exempting people.
- 55:32Speaker 5: Amen.
- 55:33Speaker 4: I see God bringing you out of the pattern of dysfunctionality.
- 55:37Speaker 3: I see God starting something new from you. I see
- 55:41Speaker 3: God starting a new genealogy from you. Now listen, the
- 55:45Speaker 3: effect of what we are teaching briefly and looking small
- 55:48Speaker 3: here is going to penetrate different sectors of the nation.
- 55:52Speaker 3: The force carrying this word is stronger than you can imagine.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Because God is set for the emancipation of this country.
- 55:59Speaker 3: It will start from family. It will start from homes.
- 56:02Speaker 3: I said it will start from homes. Angels are forcefully
- 56:05Speaker 3: behind these words.
- 56:08Speaker 4: Taking it to different corners.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Because the set time has come. Are you following what
- 56:13Speaker 3: I'm saying here?
- 56:14Speaker 4: You must have correct perspective about these things. Have correct perspective.
- 56:22Speaker 4: Have correct understanding. Okay? Let me show you a few things.
- 56:28Speaker 4: Let's look at the case of Joseph. Joseph. And his brothers. Okay.
- 56:35Speaker 4: They sold him. For a price. Into slavery.
- 56:42Speaker 5: And.
- 56:44Speaker 4: But Joseph could not be of help. To his brothers.
- 56:48Speaker 3: In the prison. A Joseph in the prison. Cannot rescue
- 56:55Speaker 3: the family. It will take a Joseph. Who is the
- 57:00Speaker 3: prime minister. Do you understand what I'm saying? So, you
- 57:04Speaker 3: can't help at the level of promise. You are of
- 57:07Speaker 3: help at the level of fulfillment. Do you understand that?
- 57:15Speaker 3: You can't be of help at the level of promise.
- 57:18Speaker 4: Oh, I know I carry this promise that God is
- 57:21Speaker 4: going to do this. Oh, fantastic. But the real place
- 57:25Speaker 4: where you are strong to be of help is at
- 57:27Speaker 4: the level where you are already having the fulfillment of
- 57:30Speaker 4: those promises. Okay?
- 57:32Speaker 3: So which means that many of the paths you will
- 57:35Speaker 3: take to now be of help will be a lonely
- 57:37Speaker 3: path where those you are to help will fight you.
- 57:47Speaker 3: In most cases I've found out the one that God
- 57:49Speaker 3: will use to liberate that family completely, the greatest battle
- 57:52Speaker 3: he will face will come from that family. Because the
- 57:59Speaker 3: demon that is holding that lineage bound will confuse everybody
- 58:03Speaker 3: that this person is bad. And that's why you can't
- 58:07Speaker 3: function by emotions. You must learn to function by conviction.
- 58:12Speaker 4: We can't do the things we are doing except we
- 58:14Speaker 4: are convinced. Conviction.
- 58:18Speaker 3: That even when what you are doing doesn't make any
- 58:20Speaker 3: sense to anybody, you stand your ground.
- 58:23Speaker 4: This is it.
- 58:25Speaker 3: It doesn't make any sense. This is, God has called
- 58:28Speaker 3: you to ministry. Everything is down. You do everything every time.
- 58:31Speaker 3: There's no finance. You have to struggle. You have to
- 58:34Speaker 3: be a person of conviction to get from promise to fulfillment.
- 58:38Speaker 4: You have to be a person of conviction. And let
- 58:41Speaker 4: me say this to you.
- 58:41Speaker 3: Part of your time being borrowed is that sometimes there
- 58:45Speaker 3: is a pattern of poverty in the house. But the
- 58:48Speaker 3: part of your destiny imagined is going to take you
- 58:51Speaker 3: back to the route of poverty. That is, you have
- 58:53Speaker 3: gotten a job where it looks like this salary now
- 58:55Speaker 3: will not be good for you and the family. And
- 58:57Speaker 3: God says, shut down the job and go to ministry.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Now from where there was salary to where there is uncertainty,
- 59:03Speaker 3: and this is where God will lift you. If your
- 59:07Speaker 3: time is bought or borrowed, you can never go that
- 59:10Speaker 3: part sometimes the things that you are about to destroy
- 59:17Speaker 3: you have to go back to that route.
- 59:20Speaker 4: That's the fact.
- 59:25Speaker 3: Nobody has reason here. Everybody is down. God said, now
- 59:28Speaker 3: I'm calling you. Now you are going to be a
- 59:30Speaker 3: minister of the gospel. That will take my name to
- 59:32Speaker 3: all nations of the earth. And you have a degree.
- 59:34Speaker 3: You did well.
- 59:34Speaker 4: You are smart. You are intelligent. Everybody rise. We are
- 59:37Speaker 4: pay school fees. You think you can do this? Never.
- 59:42Speaker 3: And you look at it and say, my God, what
- 59:43Speaker 3: part is this? Just when I thought now I'm going
- 59:47Speaker 3: to be a son of consolation. And God said, not
- 59:50Speaker 3: that fast. Not that fast.
- 59:56Speaker 4: If you are not a person of conviction, that is
- 59:58Speaker 4: how you will never become. That people will fight you
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: and rise. So what do you think you want to do?
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: Call you names, you are lazy. Many young people are
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: not accepting their God-given calling.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: Because of this same factor. Where those you consider poor,
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: you now even need to wear their suit too. To
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: do the ministry. How many of you have convictions enough.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: To walk lonely paths.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: And stand. Sir.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: We have been doing this from the days that. Can't
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: even afford to buy one donut. I know I will
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: sit in meetings.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: And they will be asking everybody.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: What do you do for a living? And I will
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: say I am in ministry. Everybody look at you with disdain.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Like a young person should not be in ministry alone.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: And that was the instruction. Can God give that instruction?
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: Yes. But the balance is that we.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: Must see the pattern of discipline and the pattern of diligence.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: Without diligence, your vision is a wish. There must be
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: that pattern.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: So that nobody is, you don't bobo anybody with the
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: fact that I have a calling, but we are not
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: seeing labor that is corresponding to that calling.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: Is that okay now? and it is those that endure
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: to the end that shall be saved. Is that okay now?
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Never you sacrifice your God-given calling because you want to
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: salvage a pattern you didn't create. Don't be disobedient to
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: your heavenly calling, to God's calling over your life.
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: Don't. Okay? Don't. That's the truth.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: Because once you carry it on your head, That I'm
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: running this race. I'm running this race because I must
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: emancipate some people. I must set them free. Everybody must
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: eat in the family. You are going to get into prostitution.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: You will. It's just a matter of time. You will.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: And if you are a guy, you get into Yahoo.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: It's just a matter of time. You will steal, sir.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: You will. You will. You can't do anything. You can't. See, listen.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: This is what the Bible says. Alright. Except the Lord
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: builds the house. The labor in vain that builds it.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: Except the Lord watches over the city.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: They wake but in vain. You can't use your strategy
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: to bail out. You must hear what God is saying.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: And it is submitting to a hit that is the
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: best strategy. And what he might be saying sometimes does
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: not make any sense. It doesn't.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Permit me to give an illustration. We're having a conversation.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: I was asking, what do you want to do? She said,
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: I want to do this. I said, if you go
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: that path, it will work. But your relationship will break.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: And we will not beg it not to break. Because
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: as you go the path of purpose, there are losses
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: that are necessary.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: If you are going to become a transgenerational blessing, there
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: are scars. There are scars. That's the truth. There are scars.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: When you look at some of us standing before you today,
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: there are invisible scars and tears and pain. And we
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: know many more will still come. And every day we
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: lift our soul to God and say, Father, make me ready.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: I know pain will come. That is the truth.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: To not know it is to deceive yourself. I know
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: betrayal will come. That is the truth. I know there
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: will be days you will sit down and cry it.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: That is the truth. It is the reality of what
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: we have received. Ministry is military. And I look forward
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: to it. Sometimes with fear in my heart.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: And I say, God, if it is your wish, let
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: this cup pass.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: But nonetheless, let your will be done.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Those do ministry and say, your boy, forget about that.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: You'll be manipulative.
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: Okay?
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: Okay?
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: God is rooting out the pattern of dysfunctionality in families.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: Get what I'm saying. He's rooting out those patterns. But
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: he's going to use sons that he has to himself.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: And when I say son, it's generic now.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: Male, female.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: Who have accepted formulas and strategies from him.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: The pressure is not giving you a.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Lifestyle or a direction. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: The pressure can give you a doubt. That God is
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: not behind. That God is not sanctioning.
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: Okay. So you must understand this. Now to what end?
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: When Jesus was born. One of the prophecies. In the temple.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: Gave the mother. He said this boy is raised. For
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: the deliverance. For the rising and the falling of many.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: And he looked at Mary. And he said a sword.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: Will pass through your heart. That is you will know pain.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: That a mother should not know. And that pain did happen.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: And one day she stood. And saw Jesus.
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: Her son. Hanging on the cross. And Jesus referred to
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: John and said, Son, look at your mother. Mother, look
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: at yourself.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: You would almost think Jesus is heartless. But the one
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: who will be a transgenerational blessing cannot be roped in
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: those things. Do you understand what I'm saying? Do you
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: understand what I'm saying? Some of you who are following us,
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: they are fighting you at home. Look at the person
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: you are following. But that is destiny.
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: By the time you start flying to 20 countries now,
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: everybody will now come back and celebrate you. But if
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: the pressure takes you out, others will take your place.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Pastor Chris was sharing the story of the time the
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: people that are now leaders were following him in the
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: days they were on campus. They would call them fools
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: and mother would beat some of them and say, look
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: at the person you are following.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: But now these are people in charge of nations.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: The people now, what I'm saying is that sometimes the
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: pattern of problem is too much for them to understand
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: what God will use to deliver the family.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: The one that God.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: Has set on that path must hold the line and
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: remain there with conviction. Never let it be said that
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: you are out of pressure left that path.
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: Because those who make you live will be the first
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: to insult you for living. There's no name.
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: Some of us have not been called for doing ministry.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: But it's making sense gradually. There's no name, sir. From
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: friends who think you must be stupid. One time I
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: cried because my friend was earning 30,000. You won't believe it.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: I'm not a lazy person. Just give me a month.
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: Let me show these people who are thinking I'm lazy
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: that I know how to make money.
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: And I'm a smart person. I know how to make money.
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: Some of you will take his pride now to know
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: that you are smart. That's how far religion has eaten us,
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: like canker worm. That part, sir, that part, hold it.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: You have found a good part.
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: Hold it.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: What is likely going to take you out is the
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: fact that somebody wants to borrow your time. And that
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: time does not mean that you will have to go
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: back home to work there. Or you can do it
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: by proxy. Sometimes, living in Nigeria... Please, apologies to anybody
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: who has traveled or who is traveling. I'm not saying... Please,
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: get my heart, okay? Sometimes, living in Nigeria for... Give
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: me a country.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: Australia.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: Is a way of still spending borrowed time. Because, particularly
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: when you have to leave your purpose to travel so you.
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: Can pay black tax. It's by proxy.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: That's the truth. Tonight I want us to do more
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: prayer than I can teach. Because like I said, the
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: root of this teaching is not for the fun of
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: being deep.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: What I'm doing here is not a pleasant walk. If
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: there's a way I can run out, I will.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: I'm doing an assignment that you can be grossly misunderstood for.
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: Okay?
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: And this is the root of many of our problems.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: I'm going to wrap up with that same scripture I
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: showed you.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: 2 Kings 6. But I perceive that there are people
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: Who need to pray? Because you are about to leave
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: an instruction.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: That God will still use to liberate those who are
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: in a hurry to liberate. And you are about to
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: close a path that that is the wisdom of God
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: entrenched in.
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: For your life. So I sense in my spirit that
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: there is a need to cry to God.
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: Maybe you need to cry for encouragement. Some of you
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: will need to cry. Some of you will need to
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: practically cry. Like I know what it means to be
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: in a path that nobody understands.
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: And it is still the same you that God will
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: use to end many narratives. And you are thinking, what
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: am I going to do from here? What am I
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: supposed to do? Can I cope? Can I survive?
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: Can I continue this path? What will my life be?
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: What is the hope of tomorrow? Hey, cry to God.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: If you will have to lay on the floor, please
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: lay on the floor. If you will have to go
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: on your faces, go on your faces. If you will
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: have to weep, please weep.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: Please cry.
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: Please cry to God. Please cry to God. Please cry
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: to God. And ask God for help. Ask Him to
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: help you.
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: Please ask him to help you. Ask him to help you.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Ask him to help you. Ask him to help you.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: God began to show me how that dysfunctional patterns is
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: subduing glory carriers in families.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: I see people struggling to come out of the clay.
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: Struggling to breathe. Struggling to imagine. And God said, it's
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: time to break that yoke. It's time to break that grip.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Teach my people and break them through practical wisdom I've
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: placed upon your life.
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: Cry to God.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: The grace to stay steadfast with the path He has
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: shown you, sir.
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: The grace to stay steadfast, committed and faithful.
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: God get me committed. Regardless of the hostilities. Regardless of
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: the anger against your soul. Regardless of all those persecutions.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: To stay committed with the plan. To stay committed with
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: the vision.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: To stay committed with what God wants to do with
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: your life. To stay committed with His purpose. The grace
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: for it. Every vision speaks at the end. It may
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: not make sense at the beginning. But the grace. To
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: stay committed. To stay focused. To stay entrenched in it.
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: Not to sell off. Not to sell out.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: I see people breaking free. From the grip of fear.
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: Staying focused.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: God has sent this word for the sake of his
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: purpose for your life. Because of the uniqueness of what
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: he wants to do. There seems to be a vow
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: in heaven. That you will not be another failed generation.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: And he has sent this word. He has sent his word.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: That you will not be.
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: Another failed generation. You will not go another man's path.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: Rather you will survive.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: All that hell throws your way. Stay committed. In God's plan.
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: Stay committed in the plan. Please pray. Please pray.
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: Please pray.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: This is the moment of emancipation. Don't joke with it.
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: Don't joke with it.
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: Please pray.
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: Some of you will need.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: To pray that your convictions will return the.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: Persuasions you had when God spoke somehow family pressure seems
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: to have choked everything and killed it somehow Now you
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: are second guessing the instructions God gave. You have now
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: entered survival mode. When God gave you a path and
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: a plan. What took away the conviction? What took away
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: the plan? What was the word God gave you? Where
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: is the word God gave you? What did he say
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: when he called you? What were the things he told
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: you not to do and the things to do? What
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: were the things he told you about the next 2, 3, 4,
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: 5 years? Where is the conviction? Where is the joy you.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: Used to have? What has the devil used to steal
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: your joy? It's time to.
- 1:15:21Speaker 9: Ask for it and get it back. It's time to
- 1:15:25Speaker 9: get it back. It's time to get it back. It's
- 1:15:28Speaker 9: time to get it back. In Jesus mighty name we're praying.
- 1:15:40Speaker 9: Now in one word ask for wisdom. Ask for wisdom.
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: You have a minute to do so. God, I cannot
- 1:15:49Speaker 9: continue the path you have called me without wisdom. Ask
- 1:15:54Speaker 9: for wisdom.
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name we are praying. Now
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: sit down, let me wrap up.
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: Everybody end up the same way because they have chosen
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: to go the same path. The one that God will
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: use to cancel the narrative must take a different path.
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: And sometimes when you choose to take a different path,
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: all hell will be let loose.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: You are not going to repeat any dysfunction. I didn't
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: hear that amen well. You will not.
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: Repeat any wrong pattern. I didn't hear that amen well.
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: You will not repeat any dysfunction.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: It doesn't matter how strong the problem in your bloodline is.
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: You are detached from it.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: It doesn't matter how consistent the pattern of dysfunction is.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Your case is different. You will never be another failed generation.
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: God will never have to separate your children from you
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: to become what he wants them to become.
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: You are about to come to a phase that God
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: will tell your children to pattern after you. Listen, sit down.
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: You know, I taught something.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: I taught a subject, Encountering God as El Shaddai. And
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: I said a statement in that subject. That when you
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: begin to walk in rebellion towards God, the only aspect
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: of your life that will be useful is your womb.
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: That is, God will leave.
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: Talking to you and begin to speak about the next generation.
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: All you are living for is to give birth to them.
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: He can take it from there. When Abraham left with Lot,
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: God stopped speaking about Abraham. Began to speak about his children.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: Now your entire purpose is summed up in giving birth.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: And that's why you can read the Bible and see this.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: This begat, this begat, begat, begat, begat. It looks like
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: the only place that makes them make history. is the
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: ability to begat. You will never get to a point
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: where all that God can use is now your ability
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: to produce.
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: You heard that well.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: There is a point a man gets to that the
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: only thing God can now use is the ability to
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: give birth to those.
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: That God can now function with. Sir, there is a
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: grace upon this house to bring people out of wrong patterns. Again,
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: I pray for Utah. In this one life, you will
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: know what it means to be fulfilled.
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: You are a different seed.
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: You are a different seed A different breed. Ah. I
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: see garments being torn off.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: I see rags being torn off.
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: I see rags.
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: Sir, one of the ways God emancipates people is that
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: he looks for a man who is deeper in deeper dysfunction.
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: Bring the person out and set him as a captain.
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: So when I speak, I know where I am talking from.
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: Ah.
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: And I told the pastors that this kind is not
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: by reading novels. The anointing for this kind, you must
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: have tasted of that corpse.
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: That's the truth. Sometimes God tells men who are.
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: Discontented and all that to follow a David in the
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: time that his life doesn't make sense. There are Davids
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: amongst us. God connecting people with you and you say
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: you have your own problem. Because not just are you
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: a man that God is setting up, you are a
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: man to help people earn patterns. The purpose of God
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: is deeper than your own personal enjoyment. And you are saying, no, no,
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: let me be fine first God, before you begin to
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: use me. God says, your process is part of what
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: they need to emerge. So that by the time you
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: become king, there are already mighty men around you. You
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: must understand that. I see God raising David.
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: Yes. I see David. Because it is the Davidic season.
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: The grace to detach men from wrong things.
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: And set them up. Giant imagine.
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: Regardless of where.
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: They are coming from. You will see people you are
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: seeing today in no time. You will be shocked. Many
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: of you are looking at your colleagues when they share
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: things online.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: And it looks like they have all left you behind.
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: Relaxed.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: Relax i make bold to tell you relax relax relax
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: relax disciples of jesus said we have left all and
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: followed you what's our hope just didn't say why i
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: ask another question said no one who left all and
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: follow me will not have the even the blessing of
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: god even in this life and the world to come
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: But before the mandate came And many called him a
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: fool For following him But is he a fool now?
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: There are parts that look foolish Because every vision speaks
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: at the end Some of you they've called you names
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: And say that your pastor you are falling up and
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: down Is he the one that relaxes? Because when God
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: calls you with a captain He gives all the grace
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: there You must understand that I make bold to say
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: this And you must never allow pressure to cut you
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: off For the joy set ahead of him, he endured
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: the cross, despised the shame. There are crosses you can't
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: endure if you don't have joy set in front of you.
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying here? Sir, there's a
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: way family problem will want to detach you from where
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: the destiny is.
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: Because in God's system, you must also pay your price.
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: Watch out.
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: For when God is attaching you to a captain who
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: is at the end of his cave, Adulam experience.
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: Because one moment you say, I'm done. The next moment
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: is the king. I see mighty men emerging from this house.
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: I see mighty men rising from this house.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: The story is not permitted to end Until the songs
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: of victory.
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: Is raised. The story is not permitted to end. Until
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: we sing the songs of victory.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: The story is not permitted to end. Until we sing
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: the songs of victory. So we are not wasting our time.
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: I say we are not.
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: We are not wasting time. There is a song. Calling
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: upon the Lord. I am not wasting. Can you sing
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: that song for us? Calling upon the Lord.
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: I'm not wasting time. Calling upon the Lord. I'm not
- 1:23:56Speaker 5: wasting time. Calling upon, calling upon the Lord. I'm not
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: wasting time, Lord.
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: Calling upon the Lord. Calling upon the Lord. Are you
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: wasting time?
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: I'm not wasting time. Calling upon, calling upon the.
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: Lord.
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: Calling upon the Lord.
- 1:24:36Speaker 4: Hey.
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: Hey.
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: Hey.
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: Hey.
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: I'm not wasting time I'm not wasting time Calling upon
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: the Lord I'm not wasting.
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: Time Thank you Lord.
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: Amen And let me leave you with these closing words.
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: The essence of what I've taught you is never allow
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: yourself to be carried away by the ocean.
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: Of those problems that you miss God. That's the essence.
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: Because once you get absorbed in it, you will miss God.
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: And the reason why the devil makes the water range
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: so high is so that you can miss where God is.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: But sometimes where God is waiting may look bigger than
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: the problem itself. God is not stressing you. He's making you.
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: He's not stressing you. He's making you. He has a plan.
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: And nobody can have a better plan. Everything pressure gives
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: looks like.
- 1:26:21Speaker 4: A better plan. That was what the devil told Eve.
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: That God knows when you do this, you'll be like this. Meanwhile,
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: God already gave them. It pays to serve God's It
- 1:26:31Speaker 4: pays to follow him.
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: Those who were able to successfully change the narrative were
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: those who said yes to God. Were those who said
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: yes to God. I see God using you powerfully. I see, listen,
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: I see patterns ending through your devotion to God. I
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: see patterns ending As you get devoted to God, God
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: gets busy with those things. That's the way it works.
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: Do you understand this? I see God helping somebody. I
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: see convictions being strengthened. I see convictions being strengthened. I
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: see men standing strong in what God has said.
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: I see convictions being strengthened. I see Jonah returning back
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: to Nineveh.
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: Yes. I see Jonas returning back to Nineveh. And I
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: see help coming from above. Strength on all sides. You
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: will serve God in your lifetime. Now, listen, listen.
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: The Bible said, except a grain of wheat first fall
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: to the ground and dies, it abides alone.
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: Sometimes it feels like dying. But it is not dead.
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: It is only sown.
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: You are not failing. You are being sown. And when
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: the grain of wheat fell to ground and dies, it
- 1:28:00Speaker 3: brings forth sixty hundred fools. Are you following what I'm
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: saying here? Are you following what I'm saying here? Don't
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: be carried away. You can't solve the problem except God
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: does it. All your effort will end up becoming nothing.
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: Because that's the trap of where the devil is waiting.
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: If you follow the heart of my teaching, I'm just
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: giving you the blueprint to be the original solution.
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: We are not instigating wickedness. Get my heart.
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: What I'm saying, there's a route that you take it.
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: At the end of your life, you'll discover you've not
- 1:28:35Speaker 3: done anything. Are you following what I'm saying there?
- 1:28:39Speaker 4: Indeed, God... will use you to end those things. But
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: it's not going to be with your own intelligence.
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: It will be in submission to his plan.
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: Praise God. I call you blessed.
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: And I ask that the hand of God rest upon
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: all of you. And the spirit of wisdom sit here.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: From today, you know what to do by the Spirit.
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: You are not confused in the name of Jesus.
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: You are not confused. You will finish well, sir.
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: And God will anoint your shoulders for the responsibility ahead.
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: He will anoint you to do it. You won't fail God.
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: I call you blessed. It is done. In Jesus' mighty name.
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: Have you been blessed today? Let's give Jesus a big hand.
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: Hallelujah.
