- 0:00All men are. Created equal that they are
- 0:02endowed by their Creator. With certain unalienable rights
- 0:08by liberty. If liberty means anything at
- 0:15all, it means right to tell people what they do not want to
- 0:19hear. Well welcome back to the big big
- 0:56Show. I'm your host Lance Miliaccio
- 0:58with my Co host George Valentin. It's rise and grind doom will
- 1:01do. And of course on this show it's
- 1:03tip of the spear because if liberty means anything at all,
- 1:05it means the right to tell people what they do not want to
- 1:07hear. And you know you can count on
- 1:09this show to do it each and every episode.
- 1:11The facts, the sauce, the receipts, the evidence, what you
- 1:14call it and the right guess Tonight will not be any
- 1:17different. Let me just briefly thank our
- 1:19sponsors. I just want to thank Genesis

- 1:40restocked. So you're all set to go.
- 1:42And, of course, want to thank those guys over to sat123.com.
- 1:45That's SAT 123.com. Looking for a satellite phone,
- 1:48looking for a Bibby stick Faraday bag.
- 1:50You never know what's going to happen here in the United States
- 1:52with the political environment the way it is.
- 1:54So, George Ballantine, what's going?
- 1:58On brother nothing nothing. I'm just excited for this
- 2:00interview, especially when I after where we just found out
- 2:02backstage Shaggy wasn't me. Love that song, love that dude.
- 2:08But I, I, we just found out she's a doctor.
- 2:11She got brains, beauty and sass. I mean.
- 2:14Talent, talent, that talent. We don't have any talent.
- 2:17Well, George has a little singing talent when he likes to
- 2:19do the jingles. Break me off a piece of that.
- 2:22Prep a bar. That's all you got?
- 2:24Oh, you can not. Very good.
- 2:27All right, Well, listen. What are we?
- 2:28Doing set the mood, Yeah, you guys, you, you know, we like to
- 2:31set the mood a little bit, kind of give you a little motivation,
- 2:33maybe something funny. Tonight's a little bit of
- 2:34motivation, since we're going to be talking about social media a
- 2:37little bit. Anyway, let's fire right into
- 2:39that, George. I think specifically nowadays,
- 2:43it's so easy to numb. There's so many distractions, so
- 2:46many things that we can just avoid feeling things with, you
- 2:50know, staple being your phone. You, you, you want to cry.
- 2:53You, you fight your tears, you're feeling stressed.
- 2:57You're overthinking some things. So you just pull up Instagram
- 3:00and you doom scroll for 20 minutes.
- 3:02You get distracted. You see a funny video of a cat
- 3:04close your phone and you forget about it.
- 3:06That's not gone. Those feelings are still there,
- 3:08they're just pushed down from a couple.
- 3:10Instagram videos that are distracted and next thing you
- 3:13know, a couple days go by and you just feel this anxiety over
- 3:16yourself and you're like, why do I feel anxious?
- 3:17I just feel like I can't, I can't sleep and wake up at 5:00
- 3:20AM overthinking like I don't know what's going.
- 3:21I have no idea. People are like, well, you
- 3:23stressed about anything like no. And this is something that I've
- 3:26had to call myself out on. If you ask me if I'm stressed at
- 3:29the time, my answer is no. You feel, are you stressed?
- 3:32No, I'm fine. I feel great.
- 3:33And then if you look at me like, do you feel calm?
- 3:35You feel at ease? Do you feel relaxed?
- 3:38I'd be like fuck no, so where where where am I feeling?
- 3:42And for some reason stress to me is like numb but it's stress so
- 3:46I don't really feel it. And it's typically from not
- 3:49allowing myself to lean into the shitty times, the shitty
- 3:53thoughts, the shitty days, and being able to sit with them and
- 3:55be with them, accept what they are and process them properly
- 3:59rather than just numbing them. There he is.
- 4:03Lance, you disappeared on me. I was just going to say we're
- 4:04just checking his audio. Something happened.
- 4:06So I reset the audio because the mods were saying we were having
- 4:08an issue. Now you're good.
- 4:10OK, that's great. You never know.
- 4:12There's always, you know, there's always a little
- 4:13technical glitch here and there. So listen, we're joined tonight
- 4:16by IMA. If you guys haven't been living
- 4:18under a rock here in the United States and you have seen her all
- 4:21over social media for her song Carmageddon, that particular
- 4:27song, as you guys know, got her into all kinds of, you know,
- 4:31personal issues when it came to her record label.
- 4:33We're going to be talking about that night, but I want to talk
- 4:35about Australia and lots of other things.
- 4:36She was raised in a tiny rainforest village in far North
- 4:39Queensland, Australia, by her mother and older sisters.
- 4:43His journey to music began as a broke medical student.
- 4:46I love that part. The broke part?
- 4:47Researching HIV in New York, A Chance ride in an NYPD card.
- 4:51A rapper Shaggy's house where she performed a cover song and
- 4:55ate his hummus mark the start of her solo career, you know?
- 5:01So as you guys know, in Carmageddon, she confronts
- 5:04societal divides to unite and rebuild and heal.
- 5:06This track is the first from an exciting upcoming album that's
- 5:09coming out, and I may continue to push boundaries and speak
- 5:12truth in a world that needs it more than ever.
- 5:14Let's bring her in, George. No reason to leave her
- 5:16backstage. Wait, hold on a second.
- 5:18I'm checking to make sure the mic's good.
- 5:21OK. All right.
- 5:22Welcome to the big, big show, my Aussie friend from down Under.
- 5:26I am May. What's happening, girl?
- 5:28Hello. How should I say?
- 5:30Doctor May? No.
- 5:33Kidding, right? I mean, you know, George did set
- 5:35it backstage. Beauty, talent and brains.
- 5:39You know, I found that only about 1/2 hour before the show.
- 5:42I obviously didn't do my due diligence, but that's a really
- 5:45interesting to go from a medical and then obviously to a top.
- 5:50Charts real quick. Ready.
- 5:51Yeah, we're gonna look at that. Yeah.
- 5:53Warm it up. We got a scrubs.
- 5:55We had to go grab a scrubs photo of you.
- 5:57You know we have to do that. I.
- 5:59Don't know about the mask thing though.
- 6:00Yeah. Wow, great.
- 6:02You know, let's let's start though.
- 6:03I always like to start people because you never really know
- 6:07what they as a child did you get.
- 6:09Was it, was it your family? Was your family always, you
- 6:11know, was they, were they into music at the house?
- 6:13Was there anybody else that influenced you that was in your
- 6:15family? Kind of how did you decide or
- 6:16how did that get started as far as music was concerned and your
- 6:20interest in singing? Bit of a random story.
- 6:25I I didn't really sing ever growing up.
- 6:29However, from the years of like one to four, I would sing by
- 6:33myself and then I became really scared of singing and then I
- 6:35kind of just stopped. But that's kind of what drew me
- 6:39to be curious about singing again later in life.
- 6:42And I didn't really do music much.
- 6:44And my family, like there was some musical talent in there,
- 6:46but it wasn't like a push thing. It was more of like a go down
- 6:49the science path. You know, my mom was very happy
- 6:52for me to study medicine and everything.
- 6:54But when I was in medical school, I felt this like, I
- 6:59guess you could call it like an intuitive sense and niggling
- 7:01like a like a like a curiosity that I wanted more in life, even
- 7:05though I was super grateful for what I had.
- 7:07I had AI was about to be a doctor.
- 7:08I had beautiful friends. I lived in a beautiful part of
- 7:10the world. But I'm like, it's just
- 7:12something not quite there yet for me.
- 7:14And I started singing again and I started doing cover songs and
- 7:19I was never intending on being a singer.
- 7:21I just thought I'm just going to sing a couple cover songs, show
- 7:23my mates and just see how it goes.
- 7:24Like, you know, there was no huge goal or anything.
- 7:27And honestly, like one thing led to another.
- 7:30I'm like, this is the best thing ever.
- 7:32I love it and it's like my passion.
- 7:34So I kept doing it. Can I ask you any special
- 7:37fielding doctor? Just regular medical doctor?
- 7:40What? Yeah.
- 7:42So it's more like General Hospital work, and I was working
- 7:46in the emergency department and I worked in COVID clinics and
- 7:48just stuff like that. But now I'm doing a lot of
- 7:50holistic stuff and I love nutrition and like preventative
- 7:53medicine. Are you good at mending broken
- 7:55hearts? Can I mend my own broken heart?
- 8:00No. I write music to do that, honey.
- 8:04That's what the music's for, George.
- 8:06That's absolutely what the music's for.
- 8:09That's George you can always expect him to come out with A1
- 8:11liner somewhere you know I so it's interesting let's let's
- 8:16talk a little bit about Australia.
- 8:18You know we heard lots of stories about the pandemic.
- 8:21We heard lots of stories about the politics there.
- 8:24You never really know because as you know, here in the United
- 8:26States, our our media is a controlled operation.
- 8:30You know, most of the time there's there's a real paid
- 8:32operation behind the scenes. You can see it in the mainstream
- 8:35media and then it heads over into social media.
- 8:38And they, and I'm sure you've seen our political environment
- 8:41here. It's pretty embroiled in
- 8:43controversy between the partisan politics that seem to occupy too
- 8:49many people's minds over and over again.
- 8:50We get tired of even dealing with it.
- 8:52Let's talk about what you thought, you know, as a doctor
- 8:56and now what you know, maybe know about COVID.
- 8:58I don't know what you know then. I don't know if they made you
- 9:00get vaccinated. I assume it was Australia.
- 9:02So they probably did tell me what it was like there during
- 9:04COVID. And kind of what do you think
- 9:06politically as far as the country, how does it kind of
- 9:09stand when it comes to that medical environment of the
- 9:11pandemic? Look, I worked mostly in
- 9:16Queensland during COVID, so the other states were a lot more
- 9:20hectic with lockdowns. I think Queensland's full of the
- 9:23Kangaroos, you know, we're really chill.
- 9:26Like Melbourne and Sydney were locked down for a long time and
- 9:29it was really tough. I did get stuck in Byron Bay for
- 9:33a while. I couldn't leave.
- 9:34And you know, all the lockdowns and everything, it was wild.
- 9:37It was hectic and there were a lot of people that lost their
- 9:39jobs and a lot of families that were pulled apart.
- 9:44I think Melbourne was one of the most locked down cities in the
- 9:46world for a while there. It was full on.
- 9:48But I mean, nowadays I don't know what.
- 9:51I think people's views have changed.
- 9:52I think people are a lot more relaxed and we're kind of
- 9:55questioning the narrative a lot because we were locked down so
- 9:58hard. I mean, I'm speaking for myself
- 9:59here. I don't know about everyone, but
- 10:02yeah, like I think, yeah, people's perspectives are have
- 10:06changed a lot now. Yeah, since then.
- 10:09It's a different environment here.
- 10:11You know, there's so many people, of course, the vaccine
- 10:13was really controversial because of the way they they did it.
- 10:15And I know it was tough over there.
- 10:17I saw them dealing with people that didn't want to get
- 10:19vaccinated in Australia. We saw that from here.
- 10:22We were always concerned about what really what the global
- 10:24initiative was behind it. So let let me ask you about
- 10:27this. Let's we're going to talk about
- 10:28the Shaggy story, but I got to ask this, you talk about this
- 10:31being a small town in Australia that you grew up in.
- 10:34Man, it must have been sticker shock going to New York because
- 10:37I grew up in Fordham Rd. in the Bronx and George is from New
- 10:40Jersey, northern New Jersey. And for somebody that didn't
- 10:44grow up there, what was that? Was that the first time you'd
- 10:46been there when you went there for your when you were studying
- 10:49AIDS, the AIDS virus? Yeah, dude, I was so overwhelmed
- 10:53and so excited simultaneously. I was like, this is the best
- 10:56thing ever. I'm from this tiny little
- 10:58rainforest town. It's literally, literally has a
- 11:013000 people. I think now it's this hippie
- 11:03little rainforest area. It's cool though.
- 11:07And I've always been drawn to travel and like the moment I can
- 11:14travel, I will absolutely do it when I can.
- 11:16But when I got to New York, I was just like, what is this
- 11:19planet? Like this is something crazy and
- 11:22I'm not used to this. I'm used to trees and I don't
- 11:25know, the wind and the sun and Kangaroos and stuff.
- 11:28And then I come here, I'm like, Oh my gosh.
- 11:31But I fell in love with it. I just feel like I I fit right
- 11:34in because I found an amazing vocal coach actually through
- 11:37Shaggy's recommendation and I just was just around this
- 11:41amazing community of creatives and it just inspired me to do
- 11:44music. It was it was actually the
- 11:45energy of New York that inspired me to be a creative and just do
- 11:48it all the time. Yeah.
- 11:51You know, my daughter, she's a kind of a celebrity tattoo
- 11:54artist. She does lots of different
- 11:56celebrities and singers and that sort of thing.
- 11:58And she's moving to New York now because she has the same
- 12:01perspective on she didn't grow up there.
- 12:02She grew up in Colorado. I'm actually in the state of
- 12:05Colorado now. I don't like it very much.
- 12:07The the political environment here is kind of strange, but New
- 12:10York is a melting pot. It pretty pretty well embraces
- 12:13everybody. But it can also be a sticker
- 12:15shock. The people probably in
- 12:17comparison to your town, they're relatively aggressive, meaning
- 12:20that, you know, they're like, hey, come on, we're going, we
- 12:22got to go now. What are you guys doing?
- 12:23I mean, it's pretty pushy, shovey it.
- 12:25It seems to me that that must have been a little tricky for
- 12:28you when you got there. Did you did you grab grab one of
- 12:30The Dirty water dogs or a slice of pizza off the street?
- 12:33I mean, what did you hit any of that food straight up front that
- 12:36maybe you didn't have, you know, the cart dogs or otherwise?
- 12:40I don't know. I was pretty boring.
- 12:41I like, like nutrition and organic food and all that
- 12:44healthy craft, I suppose. Yeah, I didn't know.
- 12:48I'm, I'm joking. I fully just remembered I went
- 12:50clubbing and I'd always go to artichoke pizza.
- 12:51I wonder who am I talking about? I was like 5:00 AM.
- 12:53What was that on the weekends? That was so good.
- 12:56What clubs? What were they, 1 Oak and Ave.
- 13:00and oh they still open? No, I think they're open now.
- 13:04Yeah. The meat packing district.
- 13:06Yeah. And then I'd.
- 13:07Yeah. And then we'd go to this.
- 13:09The artichoke pizza would just have lines of people outside it
- 13:12every night. I think there's a Busta Rhymes
- 13:14in line next to me. I was like, what is this?
- 13:16This is awesome. Let.
- 13:16Me tell you that meat packing district didn't look like that.
- 13:20It was. Oh yeah, nothing.
- 13:21And then they built it up. Yeah, it was.
- 13:23Yeah, it blew up. It used to be.
- 13:24It used to be really a meat packing district.
- 13:26It didn't have any of that, you know, used to be like the
- 13:29Chelsea district in Manhattan were the main spots years ago.
- 13:32And that change, you know, there's so many different
- 13:34neighborhoods now that that got built out because the real
- 13:36estate got so expensive. They kept branching out into the
- 13:39neighborhoods that weren't built out trying to, you know,
- 13:41obviously lower the price. Of course, the market just kept
- 13:44pushing up. So it's an interesting
- 13:45environment, although I don't know now what's going to happen.
- 13:48You know, there's a lot of a lot of people that are concerned
- 13:50about what the immigration did to that market.
- 13:52Do you guys, I don't know if you guys do, I'm unaware of this.
- 13:54If you do, do you guys have any kind of immigration issue in
- 13:57Australia or is that not really an issue there?
- 14:01I don't know too much about that.
- 14:03It's more so, yeah, in Melbourne or Melbourne and Sydney.
- 14:06It's not like you guys, our population just isn't even close
- 14:08to what you guys have. Right.
- 14:10You got to remember it's very hard.
- 14:11Just you ain't going to just on a little boat to Australia.
- 14:15Oh, no, no. And they're actually.
- 14:16Their immigration, their immigration over there in
- 14:18Australia, they're strict. They're on top of the game, I'll
- 14:21give them that. Yeah.
- 14:22Where they look through people's bags, always catch up evil, just
- 14:25with food or anything. They're very strict.
- 14:27So I mean. Yeah, well, it's interesting,
- 14:32you know, you never really know what the government's got in
- 14:34mind. You know, that they pushed it
- 14:35here because they were trying to create a a ghost voter pool of
- 14:39like 30 million deep voters they could use in the last election
- 14:42that probably manipulate the turn out.
- 14:44So it's really tricky. All right, let's talk about the
- 14:47NYPD, Dr. New York's Finest and you're you're meeting of Shaggy.
- 14:52Since that seems to be kind of the real starting point of your
- 14:55musical career. Let's let's, let's tell the
- 14:58audience about that. I think I've been in New York 3
- 15:00weeks and I just had an idea that I thought I'm just going to
- 15:03do music in some sense, like I'm just going to dabble.
- 15:05I might do. My goal is maybe like a cover
- 15:07song in a bar. Maybe there'll be 5 people
- 15:09watching and hopefully they don't laugh at me.
- 15:11And that's going to be like the the pinnacle of my music career.
- 15:16And then as you do in New York, you just meet people out in the
- 15:18city. And I met 1 of Shaggy's
- 15:19producers at the time and we were hanging out and we became
- 15:22mates. And then one time he's like, I'm
- 15:25at Shaggy's house, come by and meet him in Long Island.
- 15:29And I was like, well I'm super poor and I can't get an Uber or
- 15:34a taxi. So I'm just going to have to
- 15:36like train it for two hours and just see what happens.
- 15:40And then I'm thought, you know what, I'm just going to try and
- 15:43manifest this and I'm just going to walk through the city and see
- 15:45what happens. Maybe someone will help me out.
- 15:47And sure enough, I've bumped into these two coppers. 2 police
- 15:51officers. No say coppers, that sounds.
- 15:53Just say the coppers. Just do me a favour.
- 15:56He's going to be full out. Australian here.
- 15:58Say coppers again. There were two young dude
- 16:01coppers and they're like, they probably were like, hey, man,
- 16:05what's good? As opposed to like, how's it
- 16:07going? And I was like, hey, what's up?
- 16:10And then like, what? What are you up to?
- 16:11I was like, honestly, I'm trying to get to Long Island, can you
- 16:14help me out? And they gave me a lift and I
- 16:17got jumped in the back, which was funny.
- 16:19I got to be I got to be honest with you.
- 16:21If two cops said what are you doing and and I needed a ride
- 16:24and they said yeah, jump in the back, I wouldn't do it.
- 16:29You never see cop. Like back in the day, yeah, they
- 16:31would give you rides or whatever, you know, get you to
- 16:34your house. But no get in the back, No.
- 16:37Yeah, lately, if I'm in the back, I'd be in handcuffs
- 16:40probably. But especially being a woman
- 16:42though too. Like I'd be like, no.
- 16:45Let me answer this. Was it clean?
- 16:47You know the New York Police cars are not known for being
- 16:50hygienic. Was it pretty clean the car?
- 16:51That was spotless and I had the plastic stuff all over the.
- 16:55Wow. That means the ice slants.
- 16:57They're not doing an arrest. We know how New York is, so of
- 16:59course it's gonna be. Clean.
- 17:01Yeah, yeah, OK. All right, so go ahead, tell us
- 17:05about the rest of it. Yeah, So then they gave me a
- 17:08lift. I was like, cheers, guys, you're
- 17:09the best. Ran to Shaggy's house, made it
- 17:12on time, and there were a couple guys working on a A record, I
- 17:15think it was for Chris Brown or something.
- 17:16And my friend was there, Shaggy wasn't there yet.
- 17:20And so it's like he wanted some snacks and pulled out some
- 17:23snacks from the fridge. And key details here.
- 17:26Shaggy's hummus, it's just holding into that.
- 17:30I love hummus. Like, I know that's weird, but I
- 17:31love it. And then?
- 17:33Actually, I like homage too. It's actually a great food
- 17:35depending on, you know, Yeah, I make.
- 17:36Homemade homeless I know how to make.
- 17:38It you don't, it's the best. Swear to God it's for garlic.
- 17:41Yep, got to have the garlic, yeah.
- 17:43Absolutely. And then Shaggy walked in.
- 17:45He's like, hey, love. It's like hey man and super
- 17:48whatever. Super casual, lovely guy.
- 17:51Hope he doesn't mind me telling the story.
- 17:53Anyway, Super lovely. Yeah, Shaggy too.
- 17:54And then? Don't just say it wasn't me.
- 17:57It was that was. Not me.
- 17:59Oh no. I.
- 18:00Don't know that girl? Listen now, hold on.
- 18:02I got to interrupt you. Lance, think about this.
- 18:04Can you imagine if Shaggy the guys at the house and is she
- 18:06this cop car pulling up their first?
- 18:09Thoughts. Exactly.
- 18:09They're like, put the weed away now, yeah.
- 18:12Yeah, but then this Australian girl gets out and be like, hey,
- 18:16yeah. Exactly.
- 18:18It's just set. Up.
- 18:19How good? Yeah, and then I sang for the
- 18:23producer in the studio and he referred me to this vocal coach
- 18:27in New York. And shout out to Craig Derry, my
- 18:30absolute favorite, one of my favorite humans in the world.
- 18:32He runs this class in New York. The thing is for rappers,
- 18:37there's a lot of hip hop, soul, R&B focus, their hop.
- 18:41And I just found myself like blown away by the talent coming
- 18:44out into into this, into that classroom with, with the talent
- 18:47from New York. Like it was just insane.
- 18:51Nothing I'd ever seen before. And I just, I felt like I just
- 18:53wanted to be a sponge and absorb all this beautiful energy and
- 18:56just learn from my peers. And I did.
- 18:57I sat there for months and I watched and I listened and I
- 19:01learned and I was inspired and I thought, I want to have my own
- 19:05song too, just like these these other kids, like I want to do
- 19:08that. And I didn't really know I could
- 19:09write songs. And I was like, you know, what,
- 19:12if I go to medical school and learn all this stuff, I'm going
- 19:14to friggin learn how to write a song.
- 19:16And I was on my way to a party in Atlantic City with my with my
- 19:19friend Ria. And I was in the bus, and I was
- 19:22just Googling how to write a song.
- 19:24And I started writing in New York, and I started singing in
- 19:27the class. And I got a lot of
- 19:29encouragement. And my coach was like, you got
- 19:31to do this as your career. Like, you're a creative.
- 19:33And he instilled such conviction in my heart.
- 19:37And like, I'm thankful for life for that.
- 19:40Yeah. Can I ask?
- 19:41You, you know. I got to ask George.
- 19:43Sure. Did your mom send you to medical
- 19:44school or it was you? No, it was me, mom.
- 19:49What was your mom's take when you go to medical school to
- 19:51become a doctor, but you come out an artist?
- 19:53Like was she like what happened? It was it was a lot for her.
- 19:58She was very confused. Love my mom.
- 20:01My mom's awesome. Yeah.
- 20:02She's been a beautiful mom for me and my sisters.
- 20:05Just her raising up on her own. Bless her, honestly.
- 20:09It was a shock. My family's like, what are you
- 20:11doing? Is this a face?
- 20:12It's like, it's not a face. And I'm like, sure.
- 20:13I'm like, it's not a face. And one of my sisters is also
- 20:18super creative and into the arts, and she was very
- 20:20encouraging and helps me to this day.
- 20:23But yeah, my friends are a bit confused, but they're all for
- 20:25it. They're like, this is cool.
- 20:26Just keep doing you. That's great.
- 20:30I could just see her mother cursing out in New York.
- 20:32What did you do to my girl? My baby?
- 20:34My baby girl, Yeah. Exactly.
- 20:38You know, it's interesting. You obviously you have a great
- 20:40spirit. You can just feel your positive
- 20:42energy. You're just like that.
- 20:44I'm sure the people in New York really enjoyed that.
- 20:46That's one thing about New Yorkers when they embrace
- 20:47people, they recognize the differences.
- 20:50We're all a little, a little rough around the edges in New
- 20:52York where many of us are. But at the end of the day, it's,
- 20:55it's, it's really when we, when we meet somebody like you, we,
- 20:57we, it's easy to identify it is what I mean, you know, did you,
- 21:01when you were doing this, were you always a socially conscious
- 21:04person? Because let's face it, your
- 21:05lyrics are really, really distinctive.
- 21:08You know, they, they obviously they're societal.
- 21:11Was that always something where you always kind of a socially
- 21:13conscious human being as you grew up?
- 21:15Or is that something that maybe as you went through your
- 21:18education and going to medical school that came out?
- 21:20Or was that something that always existed?
- 21:23You know what, I just really care about the world and the
- 21:27environment, the animals and healing.
- 21:29And it's part of why I wanted to be a doctor.
- 21:32And like, I think our legacy is the effect that we have on the
- 21:37lives of others. That's what we leave behind.
- 21:40And I, I want to make the world a better place with my music,
- 21:44with my art, with my medicine. And I think the last five years
- 21:47has really well given perspective to all of us, but
- 21:52really stirred up a big pot within myself of like, what the
- 21:56heck is going on with this world?
- 21:59Not a politician and not an activist, but I really care and
- 22:02I really want my music to reach people's hearts and to heal the
- 22:05world in some way, even if it's just in a small way.
- 22:10But I just think it's hard to. I mean, I'm, I'm not hugely into
- 22:13politics. Honestly, some of it's really
- 22:15boring. I'm way more into art and music.
- 22:17I love that. But like, the last few years has
- 22:21forced all of us to be like, what's going on and what's going
- 22:25on with my brother, my sister, my friend?
- 22:27Like we're all being affected by this.
- 22:28And it's like, what can we do to change the stuff before it?
- 22:31It just feels dark. But there's hope, you know?
- 22:34There's so much light still. You know, it's funny, I was
- 22:37never a political person up until about 2011.
- 22:41I, I never got involved. I never voted.
- 22:43I never did any of that. And I saw things I'd actually
- 22:47worked around government agencies years ago and I kind of
- 22:51realized it was always a dark side to government, but I was a
- 22:54different person back then. And I started to change and I
- 22:57realized that I really didn't have the the luxury of sitting
- 23:01on the sidelines because just like you, I thought, man, these
- 23:04people are just up to just no good.
- 23:06And if we continue to let it go down this path, I don't know in
- 23:09an art, you know, in our country, we call it the deep
- 23:11state. We talk about the new world
- 23:13order, we talk about what their mega plan is, whether it's
- 23:17people at Davos or trilateral Commission com 300 the UN,
- 23:21there's lots of groups that seem to be pushing their agenda for
- 23:24and it's not about people. And unlike you, I've always been
- 23:27an animal person. I'm big, big animal.
- 23:29I've I've 5 little rescue dogs, an accidental cat.
- 23:32If I was in, if I was in Australia, I'd probably have a
- 23:34wombat. I'd probably grab one of those
- 23:36little cute guys. I'm going to.
- 23:38Get you with those Guru Lance. You know, Kangaroos, I got to
- 23:41tell you, there's something about Kangaroos when they're
- 23:43full grown, you know, adults, they, they have a little
- 23:46frightening side. I I keep seeing these pictures
- 23:48of them online where they look like they've been taking
- 23:49steroids their whole life. They're so.
- 23:51Big you got this. What are you talking about?
- 23:54Yeah, you know, I'm, I'm a pretty big tough guy, but I got
- 23:56to tell you, those claws and I see them going after people's
- 23:59dogs. I don't know if that's all true.
- 24:01I see what's online. It always seems to be these
- 24:03these aggressive attack videos. Now, I never see that with the
- 24:06wombats. I never see them doing anything
- 24:08like that. So, you know, so anyway, at the
- 24:10end of the day, I agree with you.
- 24:13It's come to a point where you you can't just sit there and not
- 24:16do anything. And in my case, it's not so much
- 24:19about the politics, about it's about getting people in there
- 24:21that are going to make a difference that maybe care about
- 24:24people again and care about, you know, our environment and the
- 24:27animals and the the rest of what it takes to actually have a
- 24:30successful planet. It it's tough because these
- 24:33people that have taken control of our governments in different
- 24:35countries, I don't think they think like that.
- 24:38I think whatever happened to them for the majority of them
- 24:40been corrupted in a way that they're only worried about, you
- 24:43know, greed and their own personal interests.
- 24:46They aren't worried about what the people need.
- 24:48We see it here a lot, even with our homeless situation that's
- 24:50now exploded, especially does immigration.
- 24:53You know, I want to switch gears here a little bit with you.
- 24:55I, I found your, your, I guess what, I guess your favorites, at
- 24:59least in an article you talked about Lauryn Hill, TLC, which I
- 25:02love, Massive Attack, which I love in Moby.
- 25:05Let's talk about your favorites. You know, when you were growing
- 25:08up, were these your primary influences?
- 25:11Were this, was this some music you listen to that you enjoyed
- 25:13the most? And was it because maybe it had
- 25:15a a message in the lyrics? Yeah, Lauryn Hill.
- 25:20I love Lauryn Hill. I've I discovered her album when
- 25:22I was probably 13 because my older sisters, they're quite a
- 25:26bit older than me. I'm the young, youngest and
- 25:28older baby. The baby.
- 25:32The baby, yeah, yeah. And they they influence me a lot
- 25:35and they listen to a lot of R&B, hence that the TLC and stuff.
- 25:39My mom was more of the Moby Massive attack and I found like
- 25:42Queen by myself which is really cool.
- 25:45Yeah, Queen's unbelievable, right?
- 25:46Is that ridiculous? Good.
- 25:48I remember the first time I heard Queen when I was a kid,
- 25:50and I was like, wow, are you kidding me?
- 25:52This is amazing. Yeah, the voice.
- 25:54So, yeah, it's so fascinating, that guy's story.
- 25:58But Lauryn Hill. I found A mis Education of
- 26:00Lauryn Hill as still my favorite album to this day.
- 26:03Yeah, that album moved me because, yeah, not just her
- 26:07voice and sonics, but her message.
- 26:09And she really cares and she wants to heal the world.
- 26:12And I just latched onto that. And I thought, this is, I love
- 26:15this. And I love that energy.
- 26:16And to this day, she inspires me.
- 26:18Like, she's one of my favorite artists.
- 26:20Yeah, but it's her message and as well as her talent.
- 26:22She's so unbelievably talented. But you can really tell that she
- 26:26wants to speak truth into the world and wants to speak light.
- 26:29And I just really love that about her and other artists that
- 26:31do that as well. I'm really inspired by that.
- 26:34You know, it's, it's interesting, I think that the
- 26:36when it comes, you know, a lot of times people, they some
- 26:39people that aren't really focused on music, they listen to
- 26:41it, they enjoy the beat. They don't necessarily know all
- 26:43the lyrics, but it's interesting the ones you pick.
- 26:46Now TLC, you know, I love that incredible act.
- 26:50When they came out, they just blew up and you know, no scrubs,
- 26:53waterfalls, creep creep was unbelievable.
- 26:56Which is you have a favorite song for TLC that you like the
- 26:58best? No, it's no scrubs.
- 27:00Like, I mean, I know everyone says that, but it actually is
- 27:02such a banger. It's so good.
- 27:04Yeah, it. Comes on.
- 27:05No, it's a great, it's a great song.
- 27:06Can we get it a little quick tune from you about it?
- 27:09Come on, give us a little liner. Let me hear it.
- 27:11I don't want no scrub scrub with the guy.
- 27:14They can get no love from me. It's and I have to tell you, I'm
- 27:20kind of a Massive Attack fan, so I've got to go with your mom on
- 27:23this one. Is your mom got a favorite song
- 27:26for Massive Attack in particular?
- 27:28I don't remember. I'm going to have to ask her.
- 27:32She also listened to a lot of Dire Straits.
- 27:35Oh, yeah, they're great. Romeo and Juliet, love that.
- 27:38Yeah. It was cool having her taste as
- 27:42well mixed into the the mix of my sisters who are more into
- 27:44like that real 90s stuff and then her influences.
- 27:48It's given me like a bit of a mixed bag, yeah.
- 27:52You know, there's, there's a lot of artists I wondered, did did
- 27:55you get it was, you know, there's some amazing, you know,
- 27:59really interesting lyrics from some of the early artists, some
- 28:03of the early R&B people. Did you, did you like Marvin
- 28:06Gaye at all? Did you ever listen to him or
- 28:07Nina? Stallone.
- 28:09Beautiful. Yeah, Yeah.
- 28:10And Etta James as well. I love Etta.
- 28:13James James. Incredible, right?
- 28:15What a talent, you know. What about Bob Marley?
- 28:18That seems to be something that might be in the genre of the
- 28:20some people being. Like, man, Bob Marley is so
- 28:23cool. Just the way he speaks for
- 28:25humanity. He is an Angel sent to us.
- 28:27Yeah. He's so inspiring.
- 28:29I don't even care if his songs are good or bad to me.
- 28:32I mean, they're obviously really great, but like, it doesn't even
- 28:34matter because the messages he's singing is just like for the
- 28:37soul, you know, and for the people.
- 28:39He really had. I really always thought when you
- 28:42listen to his music and it came out and that he really had good
- 28:45intent for humanity, which you know, it's it's it's it's a
- 28:48tricky deal, especially when you go into hip hop genres and
- 28:51music. You know, there's many of them
- 28:53that are just in it for the money that aren't actually in it
- 28:54for the craft. But there are some that clearly
- 28:58that's not the truth. What about were you a fan of
- 29:00during the So, even in that same genre of real strong messages,
- 29:04what about Public Enemy? Don't know many.
- 29:07Yeah, no N.W.A. Well, I didn't really get into
- 29:13that. I was a bit, yeah.
- 29:15No, nothing like that. Listen, we're going to hold
- 29:17we're going to hold your thought there.
- 29:18We're going to take a short break.
- 29:19When we come back, we're going to play her new song
- 29:22Carmageddon. We'll be talking more about the

- 31:54The Wanted man is Joseph Kony, charged with abducting huge
- 31:58numbers of children, forcing them to kill and mutilate
- 32:02innocent victims. Somebody had to pay the price.
- 32:05Sam did that. Sam Childers never stopped.
- 32:08Because. The bad things never stop.
- 32:10There is only one Sam Childer. There is no one else like him in
- 32:14the world. Then I said to him.
- 32:15I said. Would you go?
- 32:17Now to get Kony in the Congo, he says.
- 32:20Without a doubt in a second. Now it's the DRC.
- 32:22Tell us what's happening to children in the DRC.
- 32:25Do you have ISIS there? You have Islamic State and you
- 32:28have ADF? Hey, Sandy.
- 32:30Joseph Kony's still alive. He's in the Congo and now God
- 32:33has me in the Congo, you know, So hopefully we'll meet up one
- 32:37day. But maybe I can lead him to the
- 32:40Lord or send him there. One or the other,
- 32:57huh? All right.
- 32:58Welcome back to the big, big show.
- 32:59Here we host George Valentin, Lance Migliacho and our new mate
- 33:03from Down Under. I am May.
- 33:07I just want to say right now it's 11:30 in the morning in
- 33:11Sydney, in Australia, anywhere actually.
- 33:14I want to know where's all the Australian people in the chat.
- 33:16I know you guys are up. You know, you guys all watch
- 33:18Rumble. I have the statistics on you
- 33:20guys. I know.
- 33:21Where my where my Aussies at? Come on, Aussie.
- 33:23Aussie Aussie mate mate mate where you sat?
- 33:26Can we get some Aussie support here?
- 33:29Exactly. Yeah, Trying to expand that big,
- 33:31big show all over the globe. We're popular in Asia.
- 33:33I don't know why in South Korea especially, they seem to like
- 33:36our show. I'm not sure what that's all.
- 33:37About I want to bring this up so.
- 33:40Yeah, please. You know Trump's inauguration,
- 33:42and I know they always put musicians out there, music acts.
- 33:45Nobody reached out to you to see if you want to do your thing
- 33:48over there a little, sing your song, No.
- 33:51No, you're talking to me. No, I'm talking to the other
- 33:55beautiful singer next next to you.
- 33:57Yeah, I'm talking to you. Hey, maybe Lance sings too.
- 34:01No, he definitely. Doesn't.
- 34:02I can tell you that No. Belt out and if.
- 34:04Lance sings. This is what happens.
- 34:05Ready. Yeah, I have zero talent all the
- 34:10way around. I think all I have is
- 34:11experience. If you got if you got invited to
- 34:14sing at the inauguration, would you do it?
- 34:18I would totally consider stuff like that.
- 34:20Yeah. I want to go back to the US all
- 34:23the time. I love the USI was there twice
- 34:25last year. It's mad.
- 34:26I mean, you know what, Lance, when I hear the song
- 34:29Carmageddon, Roden actually thinks of the term that you
- 34:31coined or it again, right. Yeah.
- 34:34Coincides. Yeah.
- 34:35Yeah, I came up with a term that I that Urban Dictionary
- 34:38published. It was Border Geddon, and it was
- 34:40about the border invasion. I have this this weird habit
- 34:44I've got. I think I've got 10 words
- 34:46published now, or 9 words published over there on Urban
- 34:49Dictionary. Yeah, like dead mocrat.
- 34:53That's because our voter rolls are full of dead voters and they
- 34:56don't want to cleanse the rolls because they use those votes to
- 34:58manipulate the elections here. So yeah, it's just a weird
- 35:01thing, one of those weird, strange.
- 35:03You know, I have a lot of weird hobbies like that.
- 35:05I don't know why you get, you get down a rabbit hole sometimes
- 35:07and you feel like to make a difference, you have to use what
- 35:11I would consider unusual concepts.
- 35:14You can't just go straight on because you'll just be silenced.
- 35:17You know, we got suspended. George and I both got suspended
- 35:19on Twitter because years ago I was a government contractor and
- 35:24I, we had come upon a story called Italy Gate where they had
- 35:27used a Leonardo Spa satellite to hack the election systems.
- 35:32And I was disclosing that information on X.
- 35:35And back then it was Twitter. Jack Dorsey was working with
- 35:38lots of government agencies like DHS and the CIA and FBI to
- 35:43suppress accounts that were putting out election information
- 35:46that had to do with election interference.
- 35:48Because my thing is, you know, I just want what the people want.
- 35:50I want free and fair elections. You know, I want free speech.
- 35:54You know, the Second Amendment for me isn't about weaponizing
- 35:57the people. It's because you need the Second
- 35:59Amendment to protect the 1st Amendment here in the United
- 36:01States. And at the end of the day that
- 36:03our founders and framers wanted a constitutional Republic that
- 36:06was for the people, by the people, because they already
- 36:08dealt with what the monarchy had to deal with in other countries.
- 36:11So they they had, it was called the grand experiment.
- 36:14They wanted to do it. That's what I want.
- 36:16You know, I at the end of the day, we go after both sides of
- 36:18the aisle on this show and, and for anybody that isn't good for
- 36:21the country or it's people, you know, you can become a victim
- 36:24instantly. I prom, we promised the viewers
- 36:26her video. They're they're waiting.
- 36:28They actually want her to sing live.
- 36:29So let's play video. Stop.
- 36:31Let's get that video fired. Looking I got to do this
- 36:33sometimes. Let's get it.
- 36:34Let's do it man all. Right here we go.
- 36:36Here's our Here's our song, Armageddon Play.
- 36:39From the. Stop.

- 38:09the times if you were left in love, go right and pray we make
- 38:14it our life. This is going to get.
- 38:29It's Fashion Week. Celebs lose ribs.
- 38:31Balenciaga. How's the kids?
- 38:34Just a stray Keys losing beef. Kendrick killed a mini snake.
- 38:39This tracks about beating up your queen.
- 38:42More women dying doesn't cause a scene while we're fed all these
- 38:47distractions. Kids are killed from Miss Rose
- 38:50actions. I'm gonna sleep my mind sick to
- 38:53death of all these crazy lies. A circus for your Melanie's a
- 38:56kind We just want a piece of life.
- 38:58Give the people back their eyes and I still got a bee because
- 39:03Fouch is laughing and we've been asleep and who's the light and
- 39:07it's run a deep big fond of it. Eat they the devil make them we
- 39:11mermaid virus watch some millions die.
- 39:14Biggest prophet on their lives is inflation.
- 39:18That's your price. The lies can walk on you pick a
- 39:27side can so cold to water vibe. This is come get in corporations
- 39:34where they never lie politicians brought to life water wars
- 39:40strata side. This is come get Welcome to the
- 39:44chaos of the times. If you go left and I go right,
- 39:49when we make it out alive, this is come get.
- 40:08So I want to let all the viewers know, all right, cancel culture
- 40:12is actually trying to cancel IMA and this song.
- 40:15So US viewers and us, we, we can't let that happen.
- 40:19We we know what we do with cancel culture and they're woke
- 40:21stuff. So you guys all need to go out
- 40:23there, support her, go to her websites, in the chat, in the
- 40:26links, everything's there. Support IMA because it's music
- 40:30like that that blesses our hearts because it means great.
- 40:35And it makes, it makes a huge difference, you know, that you.
- 40:38That song touches on political division, media manipulation,
- 40:42corporate greed, public apathy. I mean, touches on a lot of
- 40:46really heavy subjects. You know, when you when you were
- 40:49writing the lyrics, did you expect and I'm going to read 1
- 40:52of the I want to read. This is just one of the many,
- 40:54There's so many news articles. I just picked this one.
- 40:57It's not for any reason. The title of this daily maul was
- 41:01who is IMA Australian singer loses contract with record label
- 41:04over Carmageddon song. When you were writing the song,
- 41:08which I think is super strong. It's so on point with so many
- 41:11things, Valenciaga and so many other topics in there.
- 41:15You know, when you're on social media as much as us, you see
- 41:17these societal issues that you know, are, are are really about
- 41:22corporate greed and many other things.
- 41:23And you and you go, God, how can we let that happen?
- 41:26That's just crazy. You went after it.
- 41:28Did you expect this kind of response?
- 41:32To the song from the fans, I was expecting a lot more backlash
- 41:39and I was me and my music producer Danny were expecting to
- 41:43have to like post it and jump off and not read the comments.
- 41:47I guess because the the industry backlash I had before I released
- 41:51it, it's kind of set it up like that.
- 41:53But now I've realized that actually like it seems that most
- 41:57people are just thinking the same thing and I'm just singing
- 42:00what we've all been feeling. Yeah, we're, you know, and there
- 42:05and there's no doubt we, you know, I Can't Sing.
- 42:08As I said before, nobody would want to listen to me sing, but
- 42:12it's interesting when you when you are dealing, especially for
- 42:15us, you know, we're on media, we cover a lot of we have a couple
- 42:18of different shows. We have our main main show, the
- 42:20big, big show. And then we have a global
- 42:22finance forum show. We have a crypto show that's
- 42:24going to be coming out very soon.
- 42:25But you have to spend so much time on social media and in the
- 42:29news. And I always talk about how
- 42:31sometimes it's tough, it's depressing in fact, that you see
- 42:35this going on and not only you can't always make a change.
- 42:37So you try to bring awareness to it.
- 42:39You try to educate people about the truth and tell them, well,
- 42:41that story's not true. Here's the real story.
- 42:44Because of that, when you did, where were you, I guess your
- 42:48label when they dropped you in the manager?
- 42:52And I think that's at least the story that I've heard.
- 42:54Where did you? Were they already giving you?
- 42:56Push back. Don't put the song up, change
- 42:58the lyric because I think there's a specific part of the
- 43:01lyric that has to do with Israel.
- 43:02Is that the one that made that triggered everybody or was it
- 43:05just the whole song in general? So I actually left my label just
- 43:12yeah, for other reasons. The manager, however, said if I
- 43:16didn't change lyrics, then we wouldn't work together.
- 43:20And you know, I really thought about it and I really tried to
- 43:23empathize and understand his perspective as well because
- 43:26that's what this song is about. It's about division.
- 43:28And I don't want to be left or right.
- 43:31And I'm not saying any of us should be, but I'm saying, let's
- 43:33have a look at what we're doing as a collective.
- 43:35Like we are being divided. And let's not because in unity
- 43:37we have the strength. And that, you know, that was
- 43:40kind of how ironic it was because this manager was saying,
- 43:43if you don't change this, we're not working together.
- 43:45I'm like, look at how divided we are now.
- 43:47Why can't we just have a conversation?
- 43:48And I ended up saying, Nah, man, I'm not going to dilute my
- 43:52lyrics. I'm not going to change my art.
- 43:53Like you're not the artist. And I feel that I have to say
- 43:57this to the world. Like this is the truth that I
- 43:59want to share. So it just ended up, yeah, just
- 44:03just cancelling the the contract we had.
- 44:05And we we went our own ways. And it was just a wild, I mean,
- 44:08it, it developed after that. There was a lot of, yeah, awful
- 44:12messages from that person and I ended up just having to just
- 44:16completely just stay away from that toxic kind of professional
- 44:19relationship and just go my own way.
- 44:21So I ended up having this huge team behind me to no one and
- 44:24just myself and my music producer, which is scary for an
- 44:29artist. And to be honest, it's all just
- 44:31been like a such a huge silver lining because now I can say
- 44:34what I want to say and it looks like people are really rallying
- 44:37behind it all over the world. I'm shocked.
- 44:39Like this song has taken off. This was just going to be a, you
- 44:42know, just hey, put it out, see what happens.
- 44:45Hopefully don't get too much hate or maybe I will, whatever.
- 44:48But like people are fully going hard and and it just it just
- 44:51shows to me that the last five years has had a huge impact on
- 44:55people, on the hearts of people. And I feel like I'm just yes,
- 44:59singing what people are thinking.
- 45:01So it's cool. I think you have a, you're
- 45:02gaining a lot of support, you have a lot of support.
- 45:04You're going to have more after the show.
- 45:06I know Rumble supports you. Yes, Rumble is awesome.
- 45:11Shout out to Nick by the way. I've discovered that platform
- 45:14recently and it's really cool. Yeah, Rumble's a great location
- 45:18for you because I think that you're you're saying the things
- 45:22that everybody thinks on Rumble. We're lucky because they don't
- 45:25restrict and they don't suppress and they don't suspend.
- 45:29We got suspended, I think finally again for the final time
- 45:32over YouTube last week because we've had a lot of not
- 45:37controversial, but a lot of people from that are medical
- 45:40experts come on the show like Cali Means and Jillian Michaels,
- 45:44if you know her from the from the Biggest Loser, people like
- 45:47that. And they're very, they're very
- 45:49outspoken. A lot of people, Mary Holland
- 45:51from the Children's Health Defense who works with RFK
- 45:54Junior. So we've really gone into the
- 45:56issues. You know, there's the autism
- 45:58race gone through the roof of vaccines and other things.
- 46:00So of course, YouTube is still under the environment that
- 46:03that's medical misinformation, even when it comes from the CDC
- 46:06or VARES or actually doctors and medical experts, even though
- 46:09nobody over at YouTube's a medical expert.
- 46:11So they don't want that information to come out.
- 46:14You know, I, I got to ask you this besides your, your label,
- 46:18you know, we get on our show because we're very direct and,
- 46:21you know, we kind of run the show with No Fear.
- 46:24So we go after people, we get a regular amount of nasty direct
- 46:28messages and death threats and all kinds of crazy stuff.
- 46:30But we feel like it's our job, George and I, that to expose the
- 46:34truth is kind of what we're doing through our show.
- 46:36No matter what that truth is. It may be uncomfortable and
- 46:38maybe people don't want to hear it, but at the end of the day,
- 46:41we feel like when we come across stories from our sources or
- 46:43otherwise, and we're like, look, this is not what's going on.
- 46:45Here's the truth, here's a source, here's where we got the
- 46:48information. But people aren't happy.
- 46:51Like I said, we've had some death threats and other stuff
- 46:53about what horrible human beings we are for exposing the truth.
- 46:57They're just key. They're just keyboard warriors.
- 47:00Yeah. Yeah, if they were face to face,
- 47:02they wouldn't say nothing. Yeah, one or two.
- 47:05It wouldn't go down like that. You can't really threaten a New
- 47:07Yorker face to face or a guy from New Jersey.
- 47:10We really just want. They do look, they take this,
- 47:12they threat with this right here.
- 47:14Come on. Yeah, Yeah.
- 47:15It's cyber bullying. You can just walk away from it
- 47:17and put the phone down and then that's it.
- 47:18It's not your way. It's not.
- 47:19Real, you know, they don't get they don't, you know, we have
- 47:21such thick skin, you know, when you're in New York as a kid
- 47:24chopping on it either and joking around with sarcasm.
- 47:27That's our second language. So for us, it's it's kind of
- 47:30worthless. But do you find that that that
- 47:33is it really, is it galvanizing in a way that there's one side
- 47:35of the divide? Or do you feel like the majority
- 47:38of people have reacted positively?
- 47:39Or do you still have a certain a number, maybe 1020% of the
- 47:43people that are trying to send you these messages about you're
- 47:46a rotten human being or otherwise?
- 47:47I don't agree with that. I think the message you put in
- 47:50here with spot on. Thanks.
- 47:54I would say it's now 90% positive that yeah, that there
- 47:59was a bit of controversy around the man made virus line.
- 48:05I'm like, dude, there's just so much information on how it's
- 48:08probably man made. Relax.
- 48:10And yeah, so there's that. And obviously the Israel stuff
- 48:15is super complicated and I empathize with everyone.
- 48:19You know, like everything that's going on, it's a lot.
- 48:21It's a lot for people. So that was a big one too.
- 48:24But I think it's mostly positive.
- 48:28Maybe that's the algorithm, I don't know, I have no idea.
- 48:31But I think because the song is not just about 1 issue, it's
- 48:36about all the issues, you know, so many things.
- 48:40So if you don't relate to one bit, you're probably going to
- 48:42relate to another part. Yeah.
- 48:44But but overall, overall positive, which has been really
- 48:48cool and really surprising, yeah.
- 48:50You know, we, we've interacted, we've had quite a few musicians
- 48:53on the show. We had, we had, you know, quite
- 48:55a few people that come through. We're friends with people like
- 48:57Forgiato Blow, who you've seen. His stuff is pretty
- 49:00confrontational. I think he also did a Balenciaga
- 49:03song that he produced. Trump Latino is another group,
- 49:07you know, so there's lots of them that come through, you
- 49:10know, I guess. Lance, we got to, I got to stop
- 49:12because they, they want to, they want to hear her sing acapella.
- 49:15What do you think? I am, man.
- 49:17I say go for it. You don't want to hear me.
- 49:18Definitely want to hear her do it if she's going to do it.
- 49:20Should we? What do you think?
- 49:21You want to break out a little acapella A.
- 49:23Little bit pull some some. No pressure.
- 49:27What would you like me to? Say I don't know, you're the
- 49:29artist. Do you pick?
- 49:30Something that you like? And you're wasn't about.
- 49:32I'm going. To show that positive side, I am
- 49:35a that positive energy side for the audience.
- 49:37Let's do it. All sing calm again.
- 49:40I open up my phone on a Monday morning, staring at my screen.
- 49:46I'm tired and a little lonely. Mr. Muskie says some shit.
- 49:51The left's are angry. Twitter wars and gods are man.
- 49:56It's overwhelming. Maybe that's how life becomes
- 50:00man people less important than a profit line.
- 50:03No one cares about your dreams. Just pay your tax on time.
- 50:06Keep scrolling. Also, that makes me want to say
- 50:13actually thanks. There's an acoustic version
- 50:17coming out soon and I cannot wait to show that to you all.
- 50:20So. Yeah, it's exciting.
- 50:22We definitely want to help you with it.
- 50:23Let's talk about what are you going?
- 50:25What are you going on fire here in the US?
- 50:28Go ahead. Huh.
- 50:29Well, you got coming, you said what's what do you got?
- 50:32In the works, an acoustic version of Calm again has is
- 50:35coming to your ears. OK, Yeah.
- 50:38So how the downloads going, you were kind of cranking there?
- 50:41I know some of the platforms aren't telling the truth about
- 50:44your numbers. They're higher than that.
- 50:46You don't necessarily have the sound.
- 50:47But I guess not too long ago you were saying that you were
- 50:49trending on YouTube at 30. Has that gone up from there?
- 50:52We obviously want to help with that.
- 50:54Tell us about how the downloads are going across the maybe even
- 50:56the US and across the globe. So it's really interesting,
- 51:02YouTube, yesterday we had a look, it was number 23 trending,
- 51:06which is wild. I only put.
- 51:08Up that so crazy. I only put up that lyric video
- 51:12which to be honest, it's just like a bunch of videos me and my
- 51:15mate took in Newcastle, Australia.
- 51:17He's an awesome videographer, Bradley.
- 51:19And we just smashed them all together and uploaded it and
- 51:22that was like just, yeah, three weeks in a day ago and it's like
- 51:26over 1,000,000 views already. And you have to understand like
- 51:29this is no funding, this is organic, this is no label.
- 51:32This is my music producer myself.
- 51:33Like, you know, I'm posting everyday.
- 51:36I'm posting and I'm replying to comments.
- 51:38And it's just us. And the fact that it's trending
- 51:42on Instagram, Facebook, it's trending on YouTube.
- 51:46It was it hit #2 in Australia, on iTunes, number #2 in
- 51:49Malaysia, number one in Cyprus #4 in Spain.
- 51:53It's like, what the heck? It's it's yeah.
- 51:56And it's thanks to the people because iTunes is the people
- 52:01buying it and Shazamming the song and and requesting it on
- 52:04the the local radio stations. It actually hasn't had support
- 52:08yet. I'm hoping they just haven't
- 52:10seen it yet from Spotify, which is crazy because it's hitting
- 52:14number one in viral 50 of like Spain, for example.
- 52:18It's number one on their viral chart, which is like an
- 52:20algorithmic chart, I think. So it's like the people are
- 52:24listening to it and downloading it and it's feeding into these
- 52:26big platforms, but maybe they haven't seen it yet.
- 52:29But it's because of you guys. It's not.
- 52:30It's truly because of you guys. There is no label.
- 52:32There is no money. You know, it's just just the
- 52:36people like wanting to share it, which is I just feel so blessed
- 52:39and so grateful. It's so nice to see.
- 52:42You know, Lance, I think she's talking about Spain.
- 52:44So Miguel from Solem, that's in Abesia.
- 52:47He's in the chat. Yeah, he he, he does music too.
- 52:51He's a big fan of your. It's a crypto company we're
- 52:54involved with, but Miguel's a big he he does a lot of DJ ING
- 52:57and a lot of music production over in Ibiza, Spain.
- 53:01So obviously high, high end music environment.
- 53:04But it's your timing and I think it's your energy.
- 53:06I think you, you, you come across as such a unique talent
- 53:10that you you really seem heartfelt to me.
- 53:12And I don't say that a lot. We, you know, we get a lot of
- 53:14tough people on this show and, and, and you know, the
- 53:18interviews are always, there's always some confrontation maybe
- 53:21at different times on the interviews.
- 53:23You know, I, I see you as being something really unique.
- 53:25And I think the timing of what you've done here.
- 53:28People want the truth. People always ask, you know, we
- 53:31hear this story a lot. People say, oh, what do you
- 53:33think is going to happen now Trump's president?
- 53:35Well, it really comes down to the, the, the, the fact of
- 53:39whether or not he's willing to do what needs to be done.
- 53:42But the country itself, you know, we get liberals on the
- 53:45show and, and non partisans, we get everybody.
- 53:47You know, we went to an event called Rescue the Republic,
- 53:49which was really a left event in New York, But it was amazing,
- 53:52incredible energy, great people, fantastic.
- 53:55And what it really comes down to is I think the globe is really
- 53:59is at this moment where so many people, at least I would say,
- 54:03you know, 80 or 90% of the people really are tired of what
- 54:08maybe the powers that be want for us.
- 54:09We all want something different and we want we have this
- 54:12expectation that we want to make things better on the on the
- 54:16planet for everybody. And I think your message is so
- 54:20clear that that's what your intent was.
- 54:22And it's so it's really just genuine the way it comes across
- 54:25when I looked at the lyrics and I was, you know, I listened to
- 54:28it half a dozen times your song before I ever contacted you
- 54:31again. You were blowing up on social
- 54:33media. But that's not why I contacted
- 54:34you. I, I reached out to you guys
- 54:36because I thought the message was so important because one of
- 54:39our lines on our show, one of our tags lies is educating and
- 54:41unifying the country one episode at a time.
- 54:44That's what we do on our radio show.
- 54:45It's about educating people so that there's unity versus
- 54:48division and chaos because the governments in general, division
- 54:52and chaos is a tool they've used for a long time.
- 54:55I think when you have a unifying message like yours, and I think
- 54:58as your music continues down that path, I think people are
- 55:01just going to eat it up. So it doesn't surprise me at all
- 55:04that your downloads are so successful and that you're at
- 55:07the top of the charts because I think it's deserved because you
- 55:10identified the necessity for exposing the truth in a way that
- 55:14I think is just really genuine. So I don't know how you feel
- 55:17about that, but I don't know what that what other people and
- 55:19how are they the people on the positive side?
- 55:21How are they reacting to your message?
- 55:24You feel like it's a unifying and galvanizing moment.
- 55:27Yeah, I saw, I saw some comments, a comment last night.
- 55:31So I try to read through comments, you know, there's so
- 55:32many and I'm super thankful for that.
- 55:35And but one of them was said when I hear this song calm again
- 55:39and I feel less lonely and less alone and that's so beautiful.
- 55:43And it's like, me too, man. Like that's why I wrote this
- 55:47song. Like it's just all the stuff
- 55:48that we've been dragged through. And that's when you said unity.
- 55:53That's exactly what the song is about.
- 55:55Unity is strength. And I and I want division and,
- 55:57and we need to call out the corruption and we want the truth
- 56:01and we want healing and we want light.
- 56:02We're sick of the crap that we've been drawn through.
- 56:04And becoming aware and self aware is the first step to
- 56:09healing. You know, we have to recognize
- 56:11what's going on and then we can start that process.
- 56:14And art is a beautiful medium to do that.
- 56:16It allows people to be united through something that's
- 56:19beautiful, like music, to share opinions and not to judge each
- 56:22other. This song is not is not a
- 56:24judgement. It's just a conversation.
- 56:26It's just hovering over the world in a spaceship being like,
- 56:28whoa, whoa, whoa, what is this chaos?
- 56:30What's going on? And let's talk about it.
- 56:32You know, that's what it is. It's it's it's being
- 56:35politicized, this song by others.
- 56:36But, but it's not a political song, you know, It's actually a
- 56:39conversation from a human to a human.
- 56:42You know, it's the people that beautiful measures.
- 56:43The people that take offense to that song are the people that
- 56:46are doing the stuff that's written in that song and they're
- 56:49and they're to me, their, their fear of being exposed more.
- 56:53Otherwise, you're right, it's a music, it's lyrics.
- 56:55It should be loved by all, whether they like it or not.
- 57:00Just like, you know, the comedians, they tried cancelling
- 57:02a lot of comedians out. No, they're come, they're making
- 57:04a comeback. They're just saying what they
- 57:05want now without worrying about the whole culture and cancel
- 57:08culture. That's the way it's supposed to
- 57:10be. But yeah.
- 57:12I mean, there's no doubt that that kind of unifying message is
- 57:15becoming more popular. Of course, we were getting
- 57:18restricted. It's still difficult to get out
- 57:21that message, you know, through music, you're getting it.
- 57:23But for, like I said, YouTube suspended us.
- 57:26We got suspended on X. And then when you know, you
- 57:30know, Elon Musk bought X. It helped us a lot because it
- 57:33gave us back our accounts. George still didn't get his
- 57:35original account back. We got our primary account,
- 57:37which was the big, big show. We got that back in my personal
- 57:39account back. Just a bad boy, I guess.
- 57:41I don't. Know.
- 57:41Yeah, they don't. They don't like you, George.
- 57:43I don't. Like them, but don't matter,
- 57:46Yeah. We've you developed thickness,
- 57:48thick skin over time. So let me ask you this.
- 57:50I'm sure everybody's wondering what's next for IMA?
- 57:53Is it there's going to be a full blown album are you working on?
- 57:56How many songs have you written? Where do we stand on that?
- 57:58Because I'm, I'm sure your, your, your fans want to know
- 58:01what's what's next for you. Yeah, I've been working on music
- 58:06for ages now with my music producer Danny.
- 58:10You know, with all the stuff going on with the label and the
- 58:12manager and and then obviously COVID and not being able to go
- 58:17anywhere and do anything and had to work as a doctor again.
- 58:19All the stuff has just inspired this, this new birth of music
- 58:23for me. And there's a ton of songs we
- 58:25have. So yeah, there's, there's
- 58:28definitely new stuff coming. I don't know when, but it's
- 58:31going to be this year and it's going to be hopefully soon.
- 58:34And I, I mean, I prefer the other songs more than calm
- 58:36again. And personally, I think they're
- 58:38great. And one thing I just want to
- 58:41keep in my art is just authenticity and just heartfelt
- 58:44stuffs. It's not always going to be a
- 58:45social commentary. And you know, maybe, maybe there
- 58:48will be songs about heartbreaking pain and suffering
- 58:50and, and other aspects of the human experience, but it's, but
- 58:53it's stuff that's true to me and it's going to continue in that
- 58:56era of truth. Well, since you're just got you
- 59:00and your, was it your producer, you said?
- 59:02Yeah. And you guys need some help
- 59:05stitching videos together, stuff for production.
- 59:07Lance and I, we're here to help. Yeah.
- 59:09And George, if you want a closed caption, if you want any
- 59:12translation and closed caption, we've got AI to do all that.
- 59:15George has gotten incredible at translating.
- 59:18So if you want to get that so that maybe the lyrics are at
- 59:20least translated into into a 10 or 25 languages, George could
- 59:24help you with that. If you want any assistance with
- 59:25that, that would. Be great.
- 59:27We're doubling down on that because our plan is to go global
- 59:31and we have been going global. We take our even this episode
- 59:34you're going to be up on 50 podcast platforms.
- 59:36We strip the audio off and then we'll do an edited version on a
- 59:39rumble. It gets a smaller amount of
- 59:41views, but we do it in 25 languages.
- 59:44Your episode today. So yeah, so we I.
- 59:47Know Danny's smiling right now. It's like wow I got some help.
- 59:51Yeah, so if you need any help, we'd be glad to give you those
- 59:54resources. Of course, as you come out with
- 59:56any new albums, reach out to us. We'd love to have you back on.
- 59:59But before we wrap things up, just let's plug.
- 1:00:02Let's go for the shameless plug. Let's talk about the download.
- 1:00:05Let's talk about your website. Let's talk about your social
- 1:00:07media. Let's put it all out there on
- 1:00:09the line. Aya.
- 1:00:10Thank you. Appreciate it, guys.
- 1:00:13Yeah, I'm on Instagram. I am Mayhem Tiktok, I've got to
- 1:00:19remember this Imahem YouTube, obviously it's there.
- 1:00:22I just joined, just started posting on X probably like a
- 1:00:25couple weeks ago and it's like it's done.
- 1:00:28The track's circulating there, which is cool.
- 1:00:30And website isima.com. But yeah, like if there's a
- 1:00:34follow on Spotify and Apple and just saving the track to your
- 1:00:38playlists, watching the YouTube video and supporting iTunes,
- 1:00:41like all that stuff is so helpful for an independent
- 1:00:44artist. And that's what's going to help
- 1:00:45this track. We heard it doesn't look like
- 1:00:47it's going to be the industry. It looks like it's it's going to
- 1:00:49be the people who are going to get this song out there.
- 1:00:51And I really hope that it keeps doing that.
- 1:00:54I got your website up here, anything you want to point to
- 1:00:56them on here? Yeah, oh, there you can see the
- 1:00:59social links, Instagram's there, Apple Music, YouTube, the whole
- 1:01:03work, Spotify, whatever you guys listen to music on.
- 1:01:06Yeah, but Spotify is really helpful.
- 1:01:08So is Apple Music. And if you want to connect on
- 1:01:10socials? I just connected with you on
- 1:01:13TikTok IG just now. Twitter X was yesterday.
- 1:01:17Awesome. And we followed you back from
- 1:01:20all our accounts, the Lance Miliaco and the Big Mig show and
- 1:01:23of course G Ballantine on X. And well, if you, if you end up
- 1:01:25on any other platforms, let us know.
- 1:01:27We have a decent presence. I think we've got about, I don't
- 1:01:29know, 1.2 or 1.3 million followers across platforms now.
- 1:01:33So we're growing rapidly. We're pretty happy about it.
- 1:01:36You know, we really appreciate it.
- 1:01:37Number one, I want to thank you for joining us all the way from
- 1:01:39Australia and down Under. We really appreciate the time
- 1:01:41you took today. We want to help you in any way
- 1:01:43we can. So we're going to try to take
- 1:01:45short form content, promote it. We'll put the link for the
- 1:01:48download on Spotify. If you can ever get up early
- 1:01:51enough, we've got a nationally syndicated radio show that goes
- 1:01:53out to three to 9 million listeners.
- 1:01:55Happy to have you on that. But it's an early, it's an early
- 1:01:58rise. I think we were talking to your
- 1:01:59management and we thought, wow, that is pretty early because
- 1:02:03it's from 8:00 to it's like 8:00 to 10:00 AM, you know, mountain
- 1:02:07standard. But if you decide you want to,
- 1:02:08you want to pull that trigger and you want to come on, let us
- 1:02:10know and we'll make sure there's a slot for you over there.
- 1:02:12At least come on for 1/2 an hour, an hour to do the same
- 1:02:15thing we did here. It's a different audience.
- 1:02:17It might help you get some more downloads because we love what
- 1:02:19you did and our audience loves what you did.
- 1:02:22And I think X loves what you did the way that people have
- 1:02:25embraced you over there. I think you, you have a bright
- 1:02:27future and I for me, I hope you stay independent.
- 1:02:30I don't want to see the record labels control a talent like
- 1:02:33you. And, you know, sometimes in the
- 1:02:34record world, at least here in the United States, there are
- 1:02:37some nefarious operators that seem like they have good intent,
- 1:02:40but down the road they don't. So I hope that you continue to
- 1:02:43do what you're doing because I think you're a bright star and
- 1:02:45you have a bright future and we really appreciate everything
- 1:02:48you're doing. So God, country family, you are
- 1:02:51doing it all and you're doing it in the right way in my opinion.
- 1:02:53George, what else you got for I on the way out?
- 1:02:56I yeah, I'll do short form content.
- 1:02:58I'll put it up on all the social media.
- 1:02:59I'll tag you in them so you see it.
- 1:03:02Tell Mama May. Hello, good job.
- 1:03:05Yeah, good job. And I'm going to connect you.
- 1:03:09I'm going to send over my contact information for my
- 1:03:11daughter. They're moving to New York right
- 1:03:12now. She's moving in with her
- 1:03:13boyfriend. But I think you guys are kindred
- 1:03:15spirit. She'll get to know her.
- 1:03:17She, like I said, she travels all over the world doing her her
- 1:03:21work on that I've got. To come back to New York this
- 1:03:23year. It's my favorite city, Man Pop,
- 1:03:25for my little rainforest hippie village.
- 1:03:26Yeah. Let me know when you come to New
- 1:03:27York. Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:03:30Likewise in Sydney, you. Better you better tell your
- 1:03:32daughter. Free ink bro.
- 1:03:34Yeah, yeah, of course. I mean, of course, if you're up
- 1:03:37for what she does, she does a new thing.
- 1:03:39You know, I grew up with, I think, gangster tattoos because
- 1:03:41I grew up in Fordham Rd. in the Bronx.
- 1:03:43There ain't got no tattoos. My no, I have no art.
- 1:03:46But you know, that wasn't really decision I got.
- 1:03:47A few I. Got a few.
- 1:03:50I got more than both of you. Yeah, you probably do.
- 1:03:53I I did it for different reasons years ago.
- 1:03:55I didn't want any identifying marks because I was in a
- 1:03:57different life back then. So everything's different now.
- 1:04:01The world changes, you know, we also.
- 1:04:02Identify a marked view. Come on.
- 1:04:04Yeah. Yeah, that giant.
- 1:04:05I do have a giant head. I can't deny that.
- 1:04:07All right, listen, we appreciate the big Mcmuffy and subscribers.
- 1:04:10We appreciate you. And get over to Spotify,
- 1:04:13download Carmageddon, like it, share it, comment.
- 1:04:16Help her elevate this song to the next level, please, and
- 1:04:20share it with your friends and family members.
- 1:04:22Get out there and push it. You guys, You guys have more
- 1:04:24power than you realize. And especially in a situation
- 1:04:27like this where somebody is doing the work that needs to be
- 1:04:30done. She's taking some of the shots
- 1:04:32to come with that. We've seen it ourselves.
- 1:04:35Help her YouTube views. Let's get it done.
- 1:04:37George. Last words on the way out the
- 1:04:39door. But we forgot, so I are are
- 1:04:43people in the chat or mods and everybody, they coin themselves
- 1:04:45the big, big mafia. So now you're a family now as
- 1:04:49you can't leave. So.
- 1:04:51You're now you're a friend of ours.
- 1:04:53Yeah. Thank you.
- 1:04:54So much. No, but seriously, thank you.
- 1:04:56Oh, yeah. Thank you.
- 1:04:57Let's go. Let's go.
- 1:04:58Thank you for your support. It means the world.
- 1:05:00Stay tuned. Don't go nowhere.

- 1:07:15between the bamboo at the buildings, you know, just
- 1:07:17shooting inside. The Wanted man is Joseph Kony,
- 1:07:21charged with abducting huge numbers of children, forcing
- 1:07:25them to kill and mutilate innocent victims.
- 1:07:28Somebody had to pay the price, Sam.
- 1:07:30Did that Sam Childers never stopped because the bad things
- 1:07:34never stop. There is only one Sam Childer.
- 1:07:37There is no one else like him in the world.
- 1:07:40Then I said to him. I said.
- 1:07:41Would you go? Now to get Kony in the Congo, he
- 1:07:45says. Without a doubt in a second.
- 1:07:46Now it's the DRC. Tell us what's happening to
- 1:07:49children in the DRC. You have ISIS there, you have
- 1:07:52Islamic State and you have ADF. Hey, Sandy.
- 1:07:55Joseph Kony's still alive. He's in the Congo.
- 1:07:57And now God has me in the Congo, you know, So hopefully we'll
- 1:08:01meet up one day. But maybe I can lead him to the
- 1:08:06Lord or send him there. One or the other, huh?
