- 0:17Speaker 1: It is time to leave your warriors outside and laugh
- 0:21Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley along with
- 0:24Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Monday, August fourth,
- 0:29Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. A mysterious creature was caught on a
- 0:36Speaker 1: ring camera in Compton, California.
- 0:40Speaker 2: In case you have not seen this, I will now
- 0:43Speaker 2: share it with you.
- 0:45Speaker 1: A mysterious creature was caught on a ring camera in Compton, California.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Person to your lower right to see the anomaly.
- 0:56Speaker 3: What it's a white person?
- 0:57Speaker 4: That's I was waiting for it. That's too easy.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Did you see it? It's a white guy.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Well, let's let's stop rush to judgment. Let's analyze and
- 1:25Speaker 1: watch some more.
- 1:26Speaker 4: There he is, Oh.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Yeah, what is that mysterious creature?
- 1:34Speaker 5: What's that? I was gonna say, white lightning?
- 1:43Speaker 2: What do you think.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Someone who's Apple maps really did him wrong?
- 1:51Speaker 2: So you don't think it's an alien?
- 1:57Speaker 1: You don't think you don't think it could possibly be
- 1:59Speaker 1: a human man taking out the trash without being asked,
- 2:03Speaker 1: or perhaps the ghost of easy E.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Since this is Compton, I don't.
- 2:12Speaker 4: I don't see it.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Lower right hand corner.
- 2:15Speaker 4: I look and see I see that, but I know
- 2:17Speaker 4: what you're saying. I don't see what.
- 2:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I just think it's I would trace it. It's
- 2:24Speaker 5: just a white guy walking by.
- 2:28Speaker 1: To me, it looks like an alien. I mean, you
- 2:33Speaker 1: see the head, the neck, the body looks like a
- 2:36Speaker 1: little green man.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Or a white guy ducking for cover.
- 2:42Speaker 1: It is Compton, So yeah, that would explain its virality.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Look at this honkey on my ring camp in the
- 2:53Speaker 2: middle of Compton efforts crazy.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Oh yeah, okay, it's a little tiny fellow.
- 3:01Speaker 1: It's a little tiny green man. That's what some people thought.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And this is a great example of confirmation bias. We've
- 3:06Speaker 1: been talking about this a lot lately. If you are
- 3:09Speaker 1: an ardent believer in UFOs and aliens, you're going to
- 3:14Speaker 1: see that ring camera footage and think.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's right there, it's an alien.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But if you take a more common sense or skeptical approach,
- 3:23Speaker 1: you're probably going to find something else. Like a lot
- 3:26Speaker 1: of internet sleuths did, and they said, very very emphatically,
- 3:30Speaker 1: that is not a little green man. What you think
- 3:33Speaker 1: is a little green man is a trash bag. And
- 3:36Speaker 1: the part that you think is where the head, like
- 3:39Speaker 1: where the neck is, is actually where the man is
- 3:41Speaker 1: grabbing the bag of trash and that's why it looks
- 3:44Speaker 1: that way, and the light just hit it a certain way.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Hm.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, this actually happened, by the way, in June,
- 3:56Speaker 2: like the first week of June, but it's it's just
- 4:00Speaker 2: gone viral over the last week.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So again, UFO crowd convinced it's an alien. Others think
- 4:08Speaker 1: it's just a guy taking out the trash. Someone also
- 4:11Speaker 1: thought it was someone carrying a mariachi hat. Don't know
- 4:13Speaker 1: why they thought that was gonna be applicable, but that
- 4:16Speaker 1: was one suggestion.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I mean, the other other thing I would have thrown
- 4:23Speaker 3: out is one of the new delivery robots that they're
- 4:28Speaker 3: using out and about.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Are they deploying those in Compton.
- 4:34Speaker 3: And they're in LA? I mean, I don't know, like
- 4:37Speaker 3: all of LA.
- 4:39Speaker 4: You know, I'm gonna go with no.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I don't think risbot's gonna be a big hit in
- 4:45Speaker 1: East LA or Compton the way it would be in
- 4:48Speaker 1: you know, West Hollywood.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Hey, maybe one of those little robots is Johnny five.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I don't know what to tell you.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Didn't Johnny five at one point spike his hair and
- 5:01Speaker 1: sport a gold chain.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Hell five just just get him in one of the
- 5:14Speaker 2: flannel shirts with only the top button buttons.
- 5:17Speaker 3: That's Johnny.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Johnny Cinco. I'd watched that remake.

- 6:15Speaker 2: The tree House is open.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Let's grow.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I discovered something recently that I need to share with you,
- 6:24Speaker 1: Trey and Raj. It's no secret I bring it up
- 6:29Speaker 1: actually quite often that I've known you both for over
- 6:33Speaker 1: twenty years. But you don't know me because I didn't
- 6:40Speaker 1: know myself until recently. I had an experience on like
- 6:45Speaker 1: any other, but it didn't change me. It just revealed
- 6:52Speaker 1: my true self.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Now.
- 6:54Speaker 1: At first, the experience felt dirty, but once I let
- 6:57Speaker 1: myself go, it felt amazing, like this is the thing
- 7:02Speaker 1: my life has been missing all along, and that it
- 7:06Speaker 1: made me whole and I need to come clean to you,
- 7:11Speaker 1: my close friends, so I can live my truth. And
- 7:15Speaker 1: I just hope that you can accept me for who
- 7:19Speaker 1: I really am. I am a powerwasher. I love to
- 7:32Speaker 1: clean dirt and grime off of hard surfaces wielding a
- 7:38Speaker 1: nineteen hundred PSI mid range powerwasher, and I would have
- 7:44Speaker 1: appreciated you Tube taking my coming clean more seriously, you
- 7:49Speaker 1: know how difficult it is to read that with a
- 7:51Speaker 1: straight face, with the two of you snickering and smirking.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I don't think I need to be here, Oh you
- 7:59Speaker 1: need to be here because no, no, I think I
- 8:03Speaker 1: need my friends on this. Because here's here's something else
- 8:06Speaker 1: I've learned. If there is something worth doing, then it
- 8:10Speaker 1: is worth doing with your friends.
- 8:14Speaker 3: I thought you'd start doing like the Buffalo bill dance
- 8:16Speaker 3: from Silence of the Lambs.
- 8:18Speaker 2: No, no, no, I did that when I was, you know, fifteen,
- 8:21Speaker 2: Like everybody else.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Took Terra's telling me it puts the lotion on.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Put it back to the basket.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Our dog Bella hates that role playing game, by the way,
- 8:36Speaker 2: because she has to be the dog I really did.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I discovered.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I discovered recently that I absolutely love power washing. I
- 8:43Speaker 1: didn't realize the therapeutic prowess of power washing. And I've
- 8:49Speaker 1: been alive for over forty five years. This is one
- 8:52Speaker 1: of those I'm today year's old moments.
- 8:57Speaker 5: I mean, there's something therapeutic about it. It's it is
- 9:01Speaker 5: kind of like you you're you're in control and and
- 9:04Speaker 5: you're making.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Everything you want to say. It's gonna it's gonna sound
- 9:10Speaker 4: there old.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Oh really, it's almost like I thought that the direction
- 9:15Speaker 1: might go this way.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, so just unleash it. Unleash your inner
- 9:20Speaker 2: power watcher.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Uh, You're gonna make the dirt and grime go away. Yeah,
- 9:24Speaker 4: and that's fun.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Yeah. See you like holding something, you know, high pressure
- 9:30Speaker 3: in your hand that squirts out really hard. I really do.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Yeah, and then you know, you get weeds out of
- 9:40Speaker 4: the way. Well.
- 9:42Speaker 1: And not only that, but I feel bigger than I
- 9:44Speaker 1: ever have before. Nothing is safe with it at ten
- 9:50Speaker 1: foot radiance.
- 9:54Speaker 5: And no one judges you watch while they watch you
- 9:57Speaker 5: do it. Oh, there are better envious.
- 10:01Speaker 1: As long as I keep my moaning to a reasonable
- 10:05Speaker 1: decibel level, then I think it's okay.
- 10:08Speaker 4: But okay, then do you wan like m oh?
- 10:12Speaker 8: I did?
- 10:13Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:13Speaker 2: I did, Yeah, I had I had a neighbor come
- 10:15Speaker 2: out and like check on me. It's like everything okay.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I was like, yes, is great?
- 10:21Speaker 3: God, do you do you have a special outfit for this?
- 10:28Speaker 2: Not yet?
- 10:30Speaker 4: I like the neighbors like slower, Yeah, slower.
- 10:34Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 10:34Speaker 1: This thing I'm telling you guys is I'm still new
- 10:36Speaker 1: to this lifestyle, so I don't have all the attire
- 10:41Speaker 1: or accessories and everything that that may come with it
- 10:44Speaker 1: right now.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I just have the unit and the desire.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Are you already looking at bigger ones?
- 10:53Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:54Speaker 2: Turns out nineteen hundred is is just a drop average.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Yeah, look for a stronger unit.
- 11:04Speaker 2: One that might require two men to live. I mean,
- 11:10Speaker 2: who doesn't want to clean things with a two man team?
- 11:19Speaker 4: Who wants to take this one?
- 11:22Speaker 2: I believe I've taken all of it. I've taken it
- 11:27Speaker 2: all right to the hilt. So you know you've been
- 11:32Speaker 2: powerwashed good and thorough. Have you actually powerwashed?
- 11:38Speaker 8: Ra?
- 11:39Speaker 4: I have?
- 11:39Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Trey, Oh yeah.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's I did it a little bit back in college.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Age.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yeah, experimented a little bit like like you do. Uh,
- 11:54Speaker 2: and then I just.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Came back into it recently and realize, my god, this
- 12:01Speaker 1: is what I should be doing all along. It really
- 12:05Speaker 1: does feel good, like because because at our house we
- 12:07Speaker 1: have lots of dirt and grime that gets built up
- 12:09Speaker 1: in certain areas of our patio. So when I get
- 12:12Speaker 1: in there and I make the dirt disappear and it
- 12:18Speaker 1: becomes super clean and shiny again, it's like it's it
- 12:21Speaker 1: really is kind of therapeutic. I'm just watching it disappear
- 12:24Speaker 1: as I go back and forth or up and down
- 12:27Speaker 1: or diagonally. I can go any direction I want. I
- 12:29Speaker 1: can do swirlies, can helicopter it, Yeah, I can helicopter it.
- 12:35Speaker 2: That's right. Whatever direction I go in, it doesn't matter,
- 12:39Speaker 2: because I am in control.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Does terror reward her mighty little sprayer?
- 12:49Speaker 2: The reward tray was her allowing me to use her spy.

- 14:15Speaker 3: Today.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Speaking of today, it is Monday, August fourth, twenty twenty five.
- 14:22Speaker 1: This next story I'm going to share with you is shocking,
- 14:25Speaker 1: and this news is so shocking that it actually has
- 14:27Speaker 1: me questioning everything from my childhood. On its daily news app,
- 14:33Speaker 1: Nintendo has stated that Mario and Princess Peach are just
- 14:40Speaker 1: good friends who help each other out when they can.
- 14:45Speaker 1: My childhood beliefs have been shattered, although probably not nearly
- 14:51Speaker 1: as much as the shattered pieces of Super Mario's heart,
- 14:57Speaker 1: because why else would you spend three decades trying to
- 15:00Speaker 1: save a woman that just friend zoned you.
- 15:06Speaker 3: I mean, probably even worse is Luigi's tapping that ass.
- 15:09Speaker 1: You know it, you know it in the van when
- 15:13Speaker 1: Mario's laying actual pipe. So it was Luigi in the
- 15:19Speaker 1: van with Princess Peach.
- 15:22Speaker 2: This is actually really shocking news.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I don't even know why Nintendo felt the need to
- 15:26Speaker 1: come out and state this. I mean, I'm gonna take
- 15:30Speaker 1: this into the into the real world scenario. But would
- 15:33Speaker 1: you risk your life repeatedly for just a situationship?
- 15:37Speaker 2: No?
- 15:41Speaker 3: No, not when.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Donkey Kong is way closer. Uh, I'll be like, I
- 15:50Speaker 4: give up.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Yeah, he probably invited her on his fortieth birthday trip
- 15:56Speaker 3: to offer to pay.
- 16:00Speaker 4: U sponsored by Johnson and Johnson. Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 1: If you want more context of that punchline, I suggest
- 16:06Speaker 1: you go join Treehouse Plus and watch our plus episode
- 16:08Speaker 1: from earlier. This is really shocking news, and we're wondering
- 16:14Speaker 1: how Mario may have taken this because he's been risking
- 16:17Speaker 1: his life for decades, jumping lava pits, dodging bullets, fighting
- 16:22Speaker 1: bowser just to save Princess Peach, only to be told sorry, Mario,
- 16:27Speaker 1: we're just.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Friends, going up and down shaft repeatedly.
- 16:35Speaker 4: What a good guy.
- 16:37Speaker 2: It's the ultimate good guy and he doesn't deserve this.
- 16:41Speaker 4: No, I appreciate that I've been that.
- 16:45Speaker 5: I mean, I've done that before. I mean I didn't
- 16:52Speaker 5: know I was in the friend zone. But there's times
- 16:54Speaker 5: where you don't know you're in the friend zone, so
- 16:59Speaker 5: I can appreciate what his effort is.
- 17:02Speaker 3: I mean, I think after he saved her from Donkey Kong,
- 17:04Speaker 3: if he didn't get any he should have, you know,
- 17:06Speaker 3: it really should have should have been a big signal. Yeah.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I think at that point it would have been a
- 17:11Speaker 2: good time for a conversation.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, then he gets to the very end
- 17:16Speaker 3: of Super Mario Brothers and it's a cup chair and
- 17:19Speaker 3: he's watching Louisyan Luigi Banger.
- 17:22Speaker 5: He's gonna watch that's his brother, right, Yeah, I've seen
- 17:29Speaker 5: this movie. Uh, and Dunk Kung's there too.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I do wonder though, if if he was so distraught,
- 17:40Speaker 1: if that's when Toad tried to take advantage of Mario
- 17:44Speaker 1: to make him feel better.
- 17:48Speaker 5: Man, how bad it would it be if a what
- 17:50Speaker 5: do they call the little Koopa Troopers? If that got
- 17:54Speaker 5: there before you. He's walking out the door, like for
- 18:00Speaker 5: saving her, man, she was awesome. Just keeps walking by,
- 18:04Speaker 5: h Yeah.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Or maybe the worst thing to find out is that
- 18:07Speaker 1: Super Mario has gone through all these levels of hell
- 18:11Speaker 1: to try to save Princess Peach, and once he gets
- 18:13Speaker 1: in the castle, she's running a train with.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Bowser and.
- 18:19Speaker 1: The bullet bills and the little mushroom people.
- 18:23Speaker 3: I was about to say, you know it, actually, I
- 18:25Speaker 3: mean maybe the riding was on the wall. When when
- 18:27Speaker 3: you're having to bounce up and down against mushroom heads that.
- 18:33Speaker 1: You know you bring up a solid point tray. Because
- 18:36Speaker 1: while Princess Peach has just recently come out to tell
- 18:39Speaker 1: Mario we're just friends, it does seem like there were signs.

- 19:52Speaker 1: other shocking news in childhood characters. Chucky Cheese was arrested recently,
- 20:01Speaker 1: not a man named Chuck E Cheese, but a man
- 20:04Speaker 1: dressed as Chucky Cheese at Chucky Cheese, and kids witnessed
- 20:09Speaker 1: all of it. Kids in Tallahassee got more than just
- 20:12Speaker 1: pizza and tokens when they watched the actual Chucky Cheese
- 20:16Speaker 1: get arrested during a birthday party. They actually arrested forty
- 20:21Speaker 1: one year old Jamel Jones, a Chucky Cheese employee. He
- 20:25Speaker 1: was taken into custody while wearing the mouse costume. He
- 20:28Speaker 1: was accused of stealing a mom's child support debit card
- 20:31Speaker 1: during a party on June twenty eighth, over one hundred
- 20:34Speaker 1: dollars in charges. Later, police tracked him down using store
- 20:38Speaker 1: surveillance footage, and when police arrived, he allegedly tried to
- 20:41Speaker 1: hide by suiting up in the Chucky Cheese costume, but
- 20:45Speaker 1: officers walked right up and said the now iconic line,
- 20:49Speaker 1: Chuck E Cheese, come with me. He was charged with
- 20:52Speaker 1: multiple felonies and released on one thousand dollars bond or,
- 20:55Speaker 1: as one person put it, the saddest pizza parties since
- 20:58Speaker 1: Shoba's Pizza closed.
- 21:02Speaker 4: And.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Kudos to Chuck E Cheese Like their CEO actually flew.
- 21:08Speaker 3: I didn't. They're based in Dallas, flew to Tallahassee and
- 21:11Speaker 3: like treated all the kids that were having parties that
- 21:14Speaker 3: day to a very special day.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Oh that's so sweet.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Was it the same day Chuck E Cheese got arrested
- 21:23Speaker 1: or was this like a set day after the fact.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Is this happened like a week and a half ago.
- 21:27Speaker 3: It was after okay, uh.
- 21:29Speaker 4: It's when he got bail.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that's got to be an awkward thing.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I wonder if that's why the CEO had to go
- 21:37Speaker 1: to Tallahassee, because maybe he was the only one who
- 21:40Speaker 1: could sign off at jail to get the Chuck E
- 21:46Speaker 1: Cheese costume out of holding, because maybe they only had
- 21:50Speaker 1: so many of those and they probably needed it to operate.
- 21:55Speaker 3: I mean, like, you can't just.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Go to costume World to get a Chuck E Cheese costume.
- 21:59Speaker 3: I'm I guess is the CEO is getting on his jetty,
- 22:01Speaker 3: looked at somebody and goes, I told you, we should
- 22:03Speaker 3: have closed the Florida stores.
- 22:09Speaker 4: Seriously, Tallahassee.
- 22:13Speaker 1: We should have seen this coming. We should have known,
- 22:15Speaker 1: we should have had contingencies in plays.
- 22:17Speaker 3: This should have bought show time.
- 22:18Speaker 1: And now this is on the heels by the way
- 22:23Speaker 1: of Chuck E Cheese coming out and saying, hey, we're
- 22:28Speaker 1: going to start opening adult chucky cheese places like no kids,
- 22:35Speaker 1: it's a Chucky Cheese, you know brand, but it's Chucky
- 22:40Speaker 1: Cheese for adults, where it's uh, you know, it's pizza
- 22:43Speaker 1: and it's booze, all the fun stuff that we as uh,
- 22:47Speaker 1: that we as adults may have liked as kids, but
- 22:49Speaker 1: now we get to do it without the kids.
- 22:53Speaker 4: The person went Las Vegas.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Let me get this straight. You're going to open up
- 23:01Speaker 3: a bar with crappy pizza, some video games, and drunk adults.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Maybe a ballpit, a dirty ballpit. You just describe half
- 23:08Speaker 3: the bars in America. Congratulations, that's right.
- 23:12Speaker 2: But this one's got a furry.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Yeah, you just described Nevada.
- 23:23Speaker 1: The good news is for the guy that was arrested
- 23:25Speaker 1: in the Chuck E Cheese costume, going to jail is
- 23:28Speaker 1: not going to be that big of a deal because
- 23:30Speaker 1: he clearly has tons of experience in ballpits.
- 23:35Speaker 3: He's about to.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Dirty dirty ball pit.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Yeah, dirty dirty ballpits, and you're about you're about to
- 23:45Speaker 2: be polo in the Marco Polo game.
- 23:48Speaker 5: I would love it if they let him keep the outfit.
- 23:51Speaker 5: You'll need this in prison.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Just send him out into gin pop in the yard.
- 23:56Speaker 1: So go right over to the bench I work in.
- 24:04Speaker 3: All of a sudden said, you know the teeth, O,
- 24:06Speaker 3: there's just a big oh face.

- 24:50Speaker 1: Speaking of today, it is Monday, August fourth, twenty five.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. Cole and Dylan.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Sprouse are thirty two today. They were the twins Zach
- 25:06Speaker 1: and Cody on Disney's Sweet Life Shows. They also shared
- 25:10Speaker 1: the role of the kid in Adam Sandler's Big Daddy
- 25:13Speaker 1: Movie and Ross's son Ben on Friends. In recent years,
- 25:19Speaker 1: Cole has played Juughhead on Riverdale. I'm not sure what
- 25:23Speaker 1: poor Dylan's up to, but it's got to be always thought,
- 25:26Speaker 1: it's gotta be an odd thing for identical twins in
- 25:28Speaker 1: Hollywood when one can find work and the other ones
- 25:31Speaker 1: like what Gibbs.
- 25:37Speaker 4: I thought he might have taken his own life. Is
- 25:40Speaker 4: that the same?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Oh, well, then that might explain it.
- 25:45Speaker 4: I think he committed suicide.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Well I didn't know that, and the prep service didn't
- 25:53Speaker 2: disclose that in the birthdays.
- 25:55Speaker 4: I could be wrong.
- 25:56Speaker 5: It could be different twins from so I'm gonna try
- 25:59Speaker 5: looking up quick.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 26:01Speaker 4: I think he did on their porch.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Go ahead and checked. I'm curious to know. There is
- 26:06Speaker 1: another set of twins in Hollywood that are identical. I
- 26:08Speaker 1: can't I don't know their names off the top of
- 26:10Speaker 1: my head, but it's a it's a pair of dudes
- 26:13Speaker 1: in the X Men movies, the original X Men movies.
- 26:17Speaker 1: One of them plays Iceman, uh, and he's had a
- 26:22Speaker 1: pretty solid career.
- 26:23Speaker 2: And then there's his brother. Yeah, I think that's it.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Yeah, And then not Sean Ashmore, the twin. He's also
- 26:33Speaker 1: an actor, and he's he's been in some stuff as well,
- 26:35Speaker 1: not quite to the level that the other brother has,
- 26:39Speaker 1: which is I don't know.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I've never lived in Hollywood.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I don't know how it works, but it just seems
- 26:42Speaker 1: like an odd thing as a casting director and go like,
- 26:44Speaker 1: you know you need the good twin.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Well they seem pretty much the same.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Dylan Sprouse is still alive.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Okay, thank you. I thought I was wrong on that one.
- 26:52Speaker 4: I just don't know he's alive.
- 26:54Speaker 2: It's just his career that's dead.
- 26:57Speaker 5: I know there was a movie you set twins that
- 27:01Speaker 5: one committed suicide in Austin.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Gotcha. Well, I hope it's not the Ashmore.
- 27:08Speaker 4: No, Sean Ashmore's I think on the rookie now is
- 27:13Speaker 4: what he's very cool.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Other birthdays today, Chet Hanks is thirty.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Five, Yeah, the one they don't talk about.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Look, just because just because Tom Hanks is your dad
- 27:31Speaker 1: and Rita Wilson is your mom doesn't guarantee success in life.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Now it did for the other Hanks. Boy, he's doing good.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Yeah, Colin Hanks.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Yeah, Colin Hanks has having a great little career for himself.
- 27:45Speaker 1: He's been in some very memorable projects both television and film.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And then there's Chet the White Rapper. This is a
- 27:52Speaker 1: great example that you can have two children in the
- 27:55Speaker 1: same household and turn out completely differently.
- 28:00Speaker 2: It's true. I don't know. I think Colin's a little
- 28:04Speaker 2: bit older than Chet.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Colin's way older than Chet. Yeah, Colin is this just
- 28:09Speaker 3: blew me away? Colin is forty seven years old.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Jesus wow, wow, Okay, this is what I think of
- 28:18Speaker 1: when I when I see parents get blasted for the
- 28:21Speaker 1: actions of their children. Like if a child goes like
- 28:24Speaker 1: a teenage kid gets a hand on a gun and
- 28:26Speaker 1: goes on a mass shooting or something, everyone says, oh,
- 28:29Speaker 1: the parents, the parents, the parents.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Well, like, it's not always the parent's fault.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You can't just constantly blame the parents because you got
- 28:36Speaker 1: Colin Hanks and Chet Hanks.
- 28:37Speaker 2: No granted chet Hanks didn't you know, shoot up a
- 28:38Speaker 2: school or anything.
- 28:39Speaker 1: But it's it's an example of you can have someone
- 28:42Speaker 1: in a seemingly wonderful environment as a child and still
- 28:47Speaker 1: end up on the quote unquote wrong path. My family
- 28:51Speaker 1: is that way. My older sister had issues and troubles
- 28:54Speaker 1: that I that I didn't. I had my own, But
- 28:56Speaker 1: we were raised in the same house, Tara, similar thing,
- 29:01Speaker 1: younger brother versus her very different, raised it in the same.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Way by the same people.
- 29:07Speaker 1: You can't just blanket say it's a dad's fault, Like
- 29:10Speaker 1: you can't look at Chet Hanks and go clearly, Tom
- 29:11Speaker 1: Hanks is a terrible dad.
- 29:13Speaker 3: It is interesting, though, because there's Colin Hanks, and then
- 29:18Speaker 3: he has a sister and they're like forty seven and
- 29:20Speaker 3: forty three. Then it's like they took a break. And
- 29:23Speaker 3: then there's Chet Hanks, who how old is he today?
- 29:25Speaker 3: Thirty four, thirty five?
- 29:27Speaker 2: He is thirty five, all.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Right, And then there's a younger brother from him, and.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Chet Hanks has been in a few Okay, chet Hanks
- 29:39Speaker 1: has been in a few acting roles, like he was
- 29:41Speaker 1: on a He had a recurring role as Blake on Empire,
- 29:45Speaker 1: He had a he was part of the cast on
- 29:49Speaker 1: Tom Hanks's Greyhound movie.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Maybe that's just Tom Hanks saying I'm done having you
- 29:57Speaker 1: as a white rapper's son. You're embarrassing the family. I
- 30:00Speaker 1: got you a job. You're coming to work with me today.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that's dad saying, earn your keep.
- 30:09Speaker 1: You don't get all this Wilson money without jumping through
- 30:12Speaker 1: some hoops.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Seldom is nepotism forced on somebody, But I think.
- 30:19Speaker 1: In this case, I am in full support of the nepotism.
- 30:23Speaker 1: If it'll save the rest of the world from having
- 30:26Speaker 1: to hear chet Hanks rap again, I am all for it.
- 30:31Speaker 6: You're listening to the Treehouse.

- 31:15Speaker 2: Are you guys.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Familiar with toiletfeet? Steve, No, you are, You just don't
- 31:25Speaker 1: know it. CEOs right, CEOs of large companies. CEOs of
- 31:32Speaker 1: large companies get lots and lots of attention. Lots of
- 31:35Speaker 1: stress come with that job. The top guy at Nintendo,
- 31:40Speaker 1: Shageru Mayamato, keeps his mind sharp by guessing the lengths
- 31:44Speaker 1: of objects with a measuring tape that he gets that
- 31:47Speaker 1: he carries around with him. Tesla, CEO and former leader
- 31:52Speaker 1: of doge Elon Musk apparently schedules his day in five
- 31:56Speaker 1: minute intervals. But then there's Steve Jobs. He may have
- 32:00Speaker 1: the weirdest habit of the mall or had. According to
- 32:04Speaker 1: his authorized biography by Walter Jacobson, the former Apple CEO
- 32:10Speaker 1: used to soak his feet in toilet water.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Okay, well, why I'm glad you asked.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm glad to know that I've peaked your curiosity, Raj.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Why did former Apple CEO Steve Jobs soak his feet
- 32:31Speaker 1: in public toilet water? The reason had to do with
- 32:35Speaker 1: his obsession with alternative health habits. After Jobs dropped out
- 32:39Speaker 1: of read College in the seventies, he went on a
- 32:41Speaker 1: path of spiritual exploration. He experimented with diets, where he
- 32:44Speaker 1: only ate fruits for weeks to detox his system. He
- 32:47Speaker 1: also engaged in fasting, including keto diets, which he claimed
- 32:51Speaker 1: gave him higher mental acuity and feelings of ecstasy. But
- 32:53Speaker 1: strangest of them all, during high levels of stress, Steve
- 32:56Speaker 1: Jobs would find relief by soaking his feet in toilet water. Interestingly,
- 33:02Speaker 1: science has shown that foot soaking is a therapeutic practice
- 33:05Speaker 1: that can widen blood vessels, increase circulation and energy, and
- 33:09Speaker 1: essentially relax you. However, the idea of doing it in
- 33:12Speaker 1: a public toilet is a different thing altogether. Now, if
- 33:18Speaker 1: he's doing this at Apple in their public toilets probably
- 33:23Speaker 1: pretty clean by you know, public comparison, still ew. Just
- 33:29Speaker 1: imagine you're trying to work your way up the corporate
- 33:31Speaker 1: ladder at Apple and you finally get a key to
- 33:34Speaker 1: the executive washroom and you go in there and your
- 33:37Speaker 1: first interaction was legend with legendary Steve Jobs. Is him
- 33:41Speaker 1: soaking his feet in the toilet?
- 33:44Speaker 3: Or you get hired as you know Steve Jobs Pa,
- 33:48Speaker 3: and you're thinking yes, and you know your your first
- 33:53Speaker 3: duty is you get a cup and a bucket?
- 33:57Speaker 2: Is duty duty?
- 34:01Speaker 4: Is the third floor guy? You just walk in, You're like, oh,
- 34:05Speaker 4: there's Steve.
- 34:10Speaker 5: I gotta I gotta get a little soak in right now,
- 34:14Speaker 5: Steve ben Ben Steve, Steve stressful.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Dad, that's the that's so gross.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Like I I I even wonder if somewhere Britney's spears
- 34:31Speaker 1: in her barefoot glory is thinking you like.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Even that's too much.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Like sure, she'll go to the public bathroom at a
- 34:40Speaker 1: gas station barefoot, but she's not sticking her feet in
- 34:43Speaker 1: the toilets.
- 34:46Speaker 4: There's I don't know that.
- 34:50Speaker 2: You know, she just goes in the bathroom and swirlies herself.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Ah that there's still there's so many questions because he
- 35:01Speaker 3: was Steve Jobs, So the toilet water could have been
- 35:03Speaker 3: out of a toilet that he had cleaned after. You know,
- 35:06Speaker 3: there was someone there to clean it after every use,
- 35:09Speaker 3: and so really it's just water.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Or he could be a waffle stomper. Who knows.
- 35:20Speaker 4: What if that was his secret.
- 35:24Speaker 1: This is what I do mid day, you know, it
- 35:28Speaker 1: really gets me through my day.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Is a good old fashioned afternoon wafflestomp.
- 35:37Speaker 4: And then I just like to soak the tootsies.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I will say that this story does mention that foot
- 35:45Speaker 1: soaking is steeped in tradition in India. Traditional Indian foot
- 35:51Speaker 1: soaking is believed to balance the body's energies and achieve
- 35:55Speaker 1: physical harmony. I'm assuming that's the traditional Indian foot soaking
- 36:03Speaker 1: in your own toilet, not the Carls.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Junior or not in a toilet.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Like there's a reason why they have those little footbaths.
- 36:17Speaker 5: We just have a little tub that you a little
- 36:20Speaker 5: plastic tub that you put your feet in.
- 36:23Speaker 4: I've done it a thousand times and it's.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Even got the little motors and the lights and stuff.
- 36:27Speaker 1: It's got the circulators and everything. Toilet that's like toilets
- 36:30Speaker 1: do have circulation. I was gonna say that's the white version.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Ours is just just a little warm water and some
- 36:39Speaker 5: epsom salt.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I don't believe that one bit in Indian. Indian people
- 36:43Speaker 1: are some of the most extravagant on the planet. You're
- 36:46Speaker 1: you're riding into weddings on elephants. You're trying to tell
- 36:49Speaker 1: me you got basic bit foot bats.
- 36:51Speaker 4: That's how you save the money.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Okay, now that makes sense.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Okay, that's how you get to ride the elephant in
- 36:59Speaker 1: the wedding and not the donkey.
- 37:01Speaker 4: Got it all right?
